I suggest you to sell your Canon A40. Be less generous to the girls, buy less flowers, teddy baers, gold and so on :D (you know I am kidding). With the saved money buy a Canon IXUS 400, 430 or 500. They are extremely handy, have all necesarry functions incl. that so called help light which is used to focus in poor light conditions and make great pictures, depending on the object you intend to display. :)

I suspect EVERY hotel is girl friendly.
If you dont mind staying in the middle of the cesspool, (also the middle of the action) then stay at the Grand President at Sukhumvit Soi 11. It will run you about $45 per night. It is walking distance from Soi Cowboy, and Nana Plaza, and an easy access to SkyTrain, and easy taxi to Pat Pong.
That whole area is a cesspool of filth but if you dont mind, then it is very convenient place to stay.

I've looked throught the thread and checked out your pictures. I don't know what a lot of people are talking about, all of the pictures I saw were women. The most likely reaction will be, that the girl disappears and moves to a different region of Thailand. (Side effect, not very important, but worth to be mentioned: we also cannot find her any more!). Most likely she will climb down the ladder in the prostitution scene; if she worked in a disco before she will work in a bar thereafter, from a bar to a MP and so on and so on. Most likely she will loose at least parts of her income, may be all of it. Most likely she will not be able to take care for family / kids as she is normally doing.
But it can be worse!
After living in Thailand for years now I know about the following extreme cases:
- Girls killed themselves, after finding them posted in the internet
- Girls being killed by husbands, boyfriends or fathers
- Girls being blackmailed by Thais/Farangs to give the information about the post to parents, husbands, boyfriends, kids, bar bosses etc. .
I know about one case, in which a Farang blackmailed girls to publish nude pictures in the internet AND give information about that to the parents (which he had visited together with that girl before (!) ) . She worked then for him, and he made his living in Thailand with the money she made.
Please: Think about what you do!
What could be done?
If the girl agrees on posting her nude photos in the internet – OK, then she knows what she is doing, and she has already adapted parts of a western lifestyle and can possibly deal with the reactions. But I really cannot believe, that you will find many girls like this in Thailand.
If the girl DOES NOT KNOW that the pictures shall be posted in the internet, we should have two categories of pictures:
- nude pictures without or with unclear faces
- dressed pictures with the faces
And – either/or, no pictures of both categories from the same girl.
I am really not joking. Our fun is one thing, and life is short. But if our activities and personal freedom seriously interfere with the lives of others we MUST step back.
