Arrived in Jakarta for a 2 day business trip. Since I was staying at Shangri-la, patronised BATS...

I can't claim to be any authority on this subject and others may wish to contriburte but I am prepared to slip 200-300krp for taxi money. It depends on how far they travel. My last trip I stayed in Kota area and some of the girls had to travel quite far.

The bartender came over and I pointed to the cash by the purse and said hey dude, thats ur tip. He said THANKS!
Since I seem to be the only person in the bars there that does not smoke, I gave the cigs to a girl sitting near me who was smoking like a chimney. I'm not normally so pissy over something like that, but she got to me. It was like being 16 and mad at your gf over something stupid.

In my opinion, it's unethical to not give the white towel girl money. Every one of these girls calls every other girl their best friend. Even if they don't know each other. You were foolish to give all the money to the red dress girl, and that was your mistake. Not the fault of the white towel chick. You should hunt down the white towel girl and give her some money. The red dress is the one who scammed you, not the white towel chick.

You negotiated with them together, pay them together - after all you didn't deduct the room service cost from the money you gave her in the first place, only after she asked you for the whole sum. At the same time, you don't know whose idea it was to order room service, with both together, neither could complain about the other. As it was you could easily call security if she caused trouble - they're more likely to back you rather than the girl. She'd probably back down if you mentioned security because after that, she'd have even more hassle downstairs from them and would have to "share" more of her earnings.

You should have mentioned that you had already paid and sorted out the sharing of money then. It was still potentially recoverable then. The bit that gets me is that red dress was huffy for taxi money when she already had 700k for not very much of a ST!!??

You're right, it was like you're 16. You can get a bad reputation from a stunt like that or even worse get yourself beaten up (over a lighter, cigarettes and some money that wasn't yours?)! Have already posted the directions and its also in the Reports of Distinction. Nevertheless, you are a old war horse and I dont mind explaining it once again. As you go from Pancoran, you enter Jl. M T Haryono alongside the Cikampek Toll. After Indo mobil there is a left cleave road which actually leads to a U turn towards getting back to Pancoran. When you take the U turn, there are two signals alongside the bends. You hit the road towards Pancoran Carrefour. Thats the road which comes from Halim. A few meters before Carrefour and diaganolly opposite Indomobil showrrom, is Pondok Nirwana. Just slow down before Carrefour and on the left you will find a board stating PN with an arrow indicating the direction. Just drive in and you can occupy any of the garages out there. There are different types of garages. A standard, VIP, a VVIP and a Presidential suite. a PS is ok if you want to organise an orgy. As you enter the garage, someone will come over and close the garage shutter and come in and direct you into the room. No need of any id. Order your drink or food. The TV has all channels running apart from a porno channel. They also levae a couple of porn DVD's just in case you dont like the show going on in the TV channel.
The only disadvantage is that you need a car. You cannot go there in a taxi, unless you want the taxi driver to join the party

The best thing to do in Thailand is to pick up girls from the go go bars/massage parlours/discos. Never try to pick up through dating site. And go to either short time hotels or your hotel.
Just to share one more experience. A British guy and his Thai wife used to host regular swing parties in Bangkok and Pattaya. They had their own yahoo group. I attended the party a few times in BKK. Are you still using your Sony PC9 (or whichever it was)?My Sony PCR9e DV tape video cam died 2 years ago. I was mighty pissed when it crumpled the tape of a facial scene I did on a teenie Filipina. Since then I bought a Canon Vixia HF10. Shoots HD video to SD card. Makes the transfer editing steps much simpler, but my PC with just 2Gb of memory struggles with the processing via Pinnacle Studio 12. That's life... I guess I should use the proceeds from my web projects to buy a new PC!
