On a separate topic - Vietnam. I have only visited once maybe 15 years ago. Loved the place and the people but regrettably I was kept on a very short lead by the company there ie they provided over-efficient watchers to make sure I did not come to any harm (or get up to things of which they would not approve).

To answer Galinsoga's request for advice/hints on photos in these situations, I will provide four easy tips:
First: Photography is about light. If the subject is ok, then having the right amount or right kinds of light is all you really need. As you can see in the pictures of Dung, I like to use this hotel room with a large window wall and I go there in the afternoon. Open the curtains and the room is bathed in light. But my pictures of Hoa, Mai and Lua were all done at night and lit by flash, except for a few of Mai done with only fluorescent lights and then color corrected.
So here is the first tip. If it's daytime, open the curtains as much as possible and let in the light AND turn on room lights. If it's nighttime, turn on ALL the lights in the room and use your flash. The room lights allow the flash to work less hard and fill in shadows and allow more details. Fluorescent lights are especially bright, be sure to turn all of them on. More light also helps the autofocus of the camera to be accurate. If the girl does not want the room lights on, remind her who is the boss, who is paying her and paying for the room. You will get good flash pictures in the bathroom (toilet) because they always have bright lights and the rooms are small and light will bounce around on light colored walls.
One more aspect of this is white sheets on a bed. Although your honey-skinned sweetie may look great against the white sheets, the camera won't think so and will make the sheets nice and white but sweetie much too dark. Pull the blanket or comforter across the bed first, it's darker color will help the exposure to be more natural when using flash.
Second: Don't use the zoom on your camera whether or not it is point-and-shoot. Just use it as you turn it on, on the widest aperture to let in the most light. That is usually equal to 28mm or 35mm or so and the aperture should be F2.8. If you zoom in you will lose light gathering ability and autofocus may become difficult. You can always crop the picture later if there is too much in the picture of if your subject is too small in the picture. But be careful not to take a picture too close to the subject as the features will be distorted and the flash maybe too bright. Step back a bit, 1 meter (3 ft) or so.
Third: Learn to use your camera well. Take test shots on yourself, on your skin and see how they look. If flash is too bright on closeups, then use the compensation button to turn down the intensity of the flash. Or just move back a bit and then crop (cut) the picture for a closer view later. Today's digitals have a lot of megapixels and the pictures can be cropped a lot and still be clear.
Fourth: Take a lot of pictures, as many as you can, even of the same scene. Go through them later and choose only the best. The more you have, the better chances of some good ones. And this is essential: Put the pictures into an editing program and 'fix' them a bit. They will usually need some brightening and some increase in the contrast. Certainly, crop to just the information you want in the picture. You may have to correct the color a bit as well. Just minimal stuff, 30 seconds or less for a picture makes a huge difference. And remember to save the result as a copy, don't overwrite your original.
To sum up:
1) Open room window curtains in the daytime and turn on lights. At night, turn on all the lights in the room, especially fluorescent lights which are very bright.
2) Don't use the zoom lens on your camera to zoom in.
3) Experiment when alone. Take test shots. See what works and what doesn't and remember it.
4) Do minimal post-processing of the pictures at least to improve brightness, contrast and crop to your subject.

99% of the action shots that I post are screen caps from video. Having tried it myself, my hat is off to guys who post sex action pics taken from point-and-shoot cameras.
