Guys, unless you didn't notice, all the guy posted was a photo of the same girl. No link to where he got it. Why not? To me thats suspicious. And more so cuz I PM'd him to nicely ask about that and he didn't reply.
If his intent was to prove the photo was stolen from somewhere else, I think it's obvious that the proof of that would be a link to that webpage. But this guy chose not to do that. If he replies that the photo isn't there any more, we're left with nothing more than his claim as evidence (a guy none of his has ever heard of before, mind you). And it'd be a very suspect claim, since I'd wonder how it is he has this photo then... it doesn't look like the kind of photo one would save for 5 years. The fact he has it now, if his story is correct, it means he went to that webpage to grab it again recently in order to post it here. If he did, then the obvious thing to do would be to provide the link too, which would be much more convincing evidence. But he didn't. Very strange.
And even if it's true that this photo is on another site, it's possible that it was JD who posted it there.

If the "watchersweb.com" watermark had been cropped out from its random locations, then it would have been very suspicious. Now that I see the photos posted by JD without the watermark, that indicates to me that JD has access to the original photos and thus is likely the original owner.

Personally, this is why I post all of my photos now with my watermark in a very difficult-to-crop location. After I found some of my photos posted on another site with my easy-to-crop bottom watermark taken out, I decided to take stronger measures. I can't control re-posting of my materials, but I can protect against guys who represent my material as theirs. Unfortunately, this takes longer to process and thus reduces the number of photos I post. :( Probably after this less than useful exchange, JD will be less inclined to post his materials. The problem here was that LV wasn't careful to cover all the possibile reasons why the pics could have been in both places. The watermark as proof only proves that these photos appeared on the other site, not who posted them. If the pictures were also duplicates of what JD posted here, then it still leaves the possibility that JD himself posted them both here and there. It seems as if that's what happened. (note: JD referred to the girl here as being 22, in present tense, tho he posted those pics 5 yrs ago... so if he's guilty of anything, it's not being clear that she was 22 when he took the pics 5 yrs ago, and maybe that is what Lvr seized on as suspicious)

But I just found out from APAC Man (via PM) that my pictures are NOT totally blurred after all!!
APAC MAN just alerted me that although I had blurred out my pictures, the THUMBNAIL image shows up as UN-blurred pictures
Not a big deal, but a saved JPG is actually 2 pictures in one file. One is a thumbnail and one is what get displayed. Whatever you used to blur the image only did the main picture and thumbnail is left as it was originally. I have no idea what is the fix or work around. So if you save the file and look at thumbnail, it shows her face clearly! I thought you may want to know in case you wanted to edit something more serious.
I learned about this issue a year or so ago when a radio talk show put her face JPG on facebook and the thumbnail showed her top half naked!I double checked with a magnifying glass and sure enough, my thumbnail images do show up un-blurred. Anybody got a solution for this?

Although this is directed at JohnDao, I was thinking of a solution to this problem only days ago (before reading this thread).
One possibility that I came up with is to have the images on the digital camera stored (e.g. as soon as you take them) as a file that does not create thumbnails - BUT will open in Photoshop/MSPaint like a regular image. So, you can edit to your hearts content, save the file again, move it off your SD Card/Laptop and have no thumbnail ever recorded. If customs check, it will simply be "XXMNAT.fileextension" and have no reason to cause alert.
If there is a way we can do this, it would be very helpful for a number of reasons and mongers won't ever have to worry about leaving evidence on laptop or digital camera.

It is not difficult to update your thumbnails to match your current edited image. If you are using XP, simply right click a highlighted image and select 'Refresh Thumbnail.' This option is gone in VISTA and WINDOWS 7 but there is another way. In Windows Explorer select the 'Change View' icon at the top right and slide the slider up or down to change the View and the thumbnail size. This creates new thumbnails. Then put it back to the size of the View you want and the thumbnail is updated. You can also change this from the 'View' menu item at the top left.
HIDE IMAGES
Put your images in their own folder. Use RAR or WinZip to compress and password protect the images in a new file. Delete the images, keeping only the RAR or ZIP file. Hide it by burying deep somewhere on your computer that you will remember. Make it a 'Hidden File.'
Another Way to Hide Images
Take the same RAR or Zip file you have created above and email it to yourself. Delete all pictures from your laptop. When you need the images, download them from your email back to your computer.

Lets split it into two- I meant the obligatory photo, because I believe that posts in this forum are supposed to have photos attached.
As to why I haven't been a contributor to this forum before, that's because I don't get to Vietnam very often, so only have a few photos of Viet girls. I do post in the other photo forums in SEA when I have some good shots.
Finally, the pure inertia and laziness to not clean up my photos, resize them down to 640x480, etc.
