So, like how long has this thread had not even one single lousy fucking photo? Oh, yeah, like FUCKING FOREVER!
Granted, I'll agree that lately so many dyevs are aware of and worried about the internet, there are significantly more that are completely camera-shy to the point that they absolutely refused to be photographed showing ONLY their face WITH full clothing, or even fully clothed WITHOUT their face even showing at all. I even tried to say, ok, how about just your feet, honey, but even that was taboo,
(not that I have a foot fetish or anything).
Lets just say, its nice that NOT ALL OF THEM are paranoid, yet!
So, for the christening of this thread, I share the lovely dyev Tanya.
Just to warn you, she has a face like a scary halloween witch, I'll concur. But a harder body no one could possibly ask for, so getting past her frightening grill wasn't that hard. Sitting on the chair, I pressed my face to her belly, and only

Many thanks to those brave souls who went to the trouble of hornifying me with photos of Lithuanian yummies. Now I am convinced my little buddy will soon lead me to the east to award some sponsoring of local talent.
Is a sponsoring agreement for the night justifiable, if so, what range? I'm reading USD 90/hr which is not really parallel to most assessments of the local economy! Sorry, from a tourist's viewpoint, I suspect the girls are just about the highest highlight Lithuania has to offer, but at that price...
Wouldn't it be wonderful if WSG had like some thingy where we could write in how much our sponsoring cost in any given place? Then other visitors could click on a country and see the average prices the WSG visitors paid. Now that would be cool.

Lithuania used to be my stomping ground. While some Lithuanian professionals -- and good-looking, too -- are available in hotels, I always found the country to be the strangest in the former Soviet Union. It was terribly repressed during Soviet times and Vilnius is still gloomy as hell. Many people don't speak any other language but Lithuanian (although all the cab drivers seem to be Russian). Neighboring Riga, Latvia, is a very lively place by comparison.
I am showing my bias here. I think the contrast is due to Lithuania being controlled by Catholic crypto fascists, while Riga is predominantly Russian. And Russian women, with their whorish look and manner of dressing (which they continue even after immigrating to the U.S.) have always been more beautiful, in my mind, than many other ethnic groups.
Nevertheless, I find the controversial street scenes posted on this site to be very educational.
Just my two kopeks' worth.

Think twice before you push that button.I can only say how things are in the United States. Here we have virtually unrestricted right to use a camera in public. People don't have the right to bar you from photographing them in public. You do not have an expectation of privacy in a public place.
I did like seeing the pictures. However, I did not like that it was obvious that the photo's were taken surreptitiously.

80 years of rule from Moscow caused all this resentment, but I don't see Lithuanians living in Russia getting treated this way either, so its seems unnecessary and over the top, but then again, Uncle Joe didn't allow Lithuainians any feeling of pride in their heritage.

Bez -- I'm not arguing with your conclusions but must say that ethnic Russians in the Baltic republics have no one to blame but themselves. Many came there immediately after those countries were annexed by the Soviet Union and never learned a word of the local language. So now that those republics are independent, they require residents to be bilingual and the Russians can't speak the lingo. That causes a lot of resentment.
As to our hobby, many of the girls offering local hospitality in those countries happen to be ethnic Russians (or Ukrainians or ...). So there is tendency by claim that all Russians are hos.
I'm not sure how you can state conclusively that Lithuanians and others don't feel discrimination in Russia. They won't, if their passports identify them as Russians. But if they are listed as belonging to any other nationality, they may.
There is a particularly nasty fight going on now between Russia and Estonia, a NATO country bordering on Russia, over a WWII tribute to the Soviet Army that was taken down in Tallinn. It was in the course of that dispute that I realized Estonia's president is a Yank. When I knew Toomas Ilves, he lived in New Jersey and was a U.S. citizen.

Dear Bez,
those Russians, who have wanted to understand the country and people they live amongst, do not feel discriminated. And speak language, which is important. So most of them are citizens of Baltic countries.
But those, who still live in memories of Soviet Union and think everyone should be granted for Russians because they are Russians, are bit in trouble, causing same to people around them.
Discrimination in terms of some Russians means they have to learn the local language and can not live according to Russian laws.

This has nothing to do with mongering, and it certainly don't belong in the foto gallery, but I don't see how you blame ordinary Russian immigrants for the policies of the Soviet Union's communist government. As for ethnic'nyuks in the baltics, at least the ones that I know, they have the same amount of concern for russian not being the official language as they do for the red splotch on Gorby's bald head. :p

Ok so they took down a war monument. I don't think anybody's claiming it was the most important one, and neither is anyone saying it wasn't disrespectful, but is this really "the birth of fascism?"
And what the hell did the rowdy drunks that pulled down the statue have to do with Estonian farmers and food workers just trying to feed their own families?
So all of a sudden they are no better than dogs? Its intended to sound like hysterical drama. With immense unchecked power, its quite simple to crush a small opponent, call them bad names and slam them with extortion business tactics. When you're the big bully, you can fuck over anybody you feel like, and if someone doesn't like it, too bad. The lesson is, watch out for what you do. Show power the respect it deserves, or you will regret the consequences.
