I thought I would post some pictures from my trip. Most of the pictures I took have friends, family or relatives in them so I had to find pictures that were mostly anonymous.
Sorry, guys, no dyevooshki here. Just pics of Chisinau and environs. Since no one has yet posted any pictures, I thought it might be worthwhile to get something started.

This is a typical apartment building in Chisinau. This one is actually a little nicer than some. It takes a while to get used to their look. Since no one owns the buildings, they are never cared for and can look rather dismal from the outside. Inside, however, it's a completely different story. People can spend a lot of time and money renovating them and they can be quite nice.

I would like to just add my 2 cents being involved in the imaging business. If using a digital cam I would suggest always using the highest resolution and when you down size none of the quality is lost.
I have experimented a great deal using this method and it always works. I can only say that if you don't have a decent quality digital cam then nothing will help.

I spent a week in Moldova for work and it was a lot of fun. I met many of the ladies just walking down Stefan C and hanging out at the few cafe's that are availible.
The other gents are correct about there not being much going on. I was there in 2000 and it would be a very depressing existence if I had to live there earning what the typical Moldovan would earn. But most of us who travel for entertainment, will be able to live like a king; or better yet feel like one.
Some hints for the Western traveler in Moldova. I would make a local friend, the city is full of guys who like to improve their English skills. A few drinks for him, a few for you, and before you know it he will find the hot ladies for you (even if it is his cousin). Obviously, one would have to be wise and have common sense with this approach, but assuming you want to go that far off the beaten path, you should have plenty of street smarts.
Second, spend some time at the market north of Stefan C. It is crowded and dirty and a bit intimidating if you do not speak the language, but if you use your curiosity to your advantage, a lot of women will be shopping for their families or working in the shops as clerks.
When I visited, Startrek was the hot disco, and if things have not changed in Chisinau there are some of the finest women you will ever see. Some "model" types the guys on this board seem to be into, but the majority are very pretty and (more important to me) sexy.
If any Americans would like to know more, I would be glad to hook you up with some additional knowledge.

Take picture at highest possible resolution (biggest file size), then compress using mihov's FREE image resizer-set pixels to 620. Examples below (taken at 8 megapixel then reduced to less than 50KB using Mihov). These are in Colombia by the way. Take picture at highest possible resolution (biggest file size), then compress using mihov's FREE image resizer-set pixels to 620. I am sure you understand and agree that some of the girls if they will know that you will post their pictures on public site they will be very upset and will disagree to photo them if you ask in advance, most of them asked you "do you promise you will not show my naked picture to no one please" we always answer them "I promise you it will be on personal use only".so you have to keep your promise
Also you have to respect this girls and keep their own property privetly...and not to show it in public.
Most of the pictures on moldova section are naked and not with a black musk check it.
