I think the point Bez was making, Bez - please correct me if I am wrong, is that you pop up out of no where asking for information without having contributed anything in the past. This is a common problem where people who have been kind enough to write detailed reports, post pictures and just contribute information get pumped for information by people who don't contribute anything useful, it gets very annoying.
The best way to make a first post is not to ask questions but to write about your experiences. Post some useful information, share, contribute some interesting or post pictures before you start asking for help. Also in general read at least the last few dozen posts (preferably the last 6 months or more) before asking general questions. You will regularly see FTFF (Read The Fucking Forum) in response to general questions from new users.
Finally you should remember that this is not a personal support center for getting laid in foreign countries. This is a discussion board for people who like to travel and like women. Keep that in mind.

some observations:
