2 bbs to the left of Blue Sky bar on top of the steps. If you exit the bar and take a left and climb the steps you'll come across two bbs. Further down this street about 15 minutes walk on the right side is a big bbs. The girls are sitting in the window in plain few without any covering of the glass.
Hey man, I actually did the farthest left one (one is red light swirl and the other is the green light swirl). I did the green light swirl shop. Read my report.
Next to Blu Sky Bar is a new Beijing (Peking) Roasted Duck restaurant. Funny how they built that place in like a week!
I found a nice row of really decent BBSs. The girls are quite good in quality and there are like 7 on that street. I got a HJ in one and the girl was tall, thin, allowed my hands to roam everywhere, and a few other nasties. She wouldn't BJ me or do it with me tho. Maybe on subsequent visits, which I'm tempted to do.
To find them:
Go down Zhujiang Road that almost hits N.Taiping Rd. Before N.Taiping Rd., there is a small street on the left. On that street, there is a KFC and in front of the KFC, there is a small alley. On that alley, there is a Don Quiote Restaurant and Bar. Go down that alley and you'll find them. You can see the girls quite close cause you're basically walking in front of the shops. I though the girls were quite good, which is surprising cause some of the BBSs (or footies) I braved into had butt ugly girls. This street had some decent talent.
I've heard a few more places which I should be able to scout in the next few days.

i think the most doable girls i have found are the ones near 1912 however your right in that there are only a few here, i've found 5 shops on the alleys leading away from 1912 to zhujiang rd. two of these are right beside a hotel that faces starbucks 1912. about 4 girls in total, one of them i could have taken on.
i am sorely mistaken. there are a lot of bbss clumped in this area! directions are difficult to give, cause the bbss are on small streets (3 consequtive streets in a row) and difficult to see if you only look from one end of the street. you won't see neon light reflecting out to the streets or the swirling barbershop lights. you see a dark street!
ok, but if you go down the street(s), you'll find 7 or so bbs shops with red lights inside so you can see the girls sitting and watching tv. each shop has around 3 to 8 girls. very fun to go down the street, looking at the goods.
do the same with the second street, all 3 streets are parallel from each other, so go around, and do the same. each street has 7 or so bbss, so all three streets has like 20 or so bbs shops and approx 50 or so girls total. there's also a few in the smaller darker alleys.
price is 150 rmb per pop, or cheaper if you negotiate. the one i tried had an ok room with air conditioner and a not so bad bed. it wasn't so bad. no shower, so mostly go inside the room, put on cd, and get down to business. the skin on the girl i had was smooth and not a drop of sweat on her, but i was drenched with sweat from walking all day (circling the 3 streets like 6 times). and with that many shops to choose from, you'll find someone that may come close to your type. you'll definately won't find young in bbs shops tho.
but this area does have a nice concentration of bbss for you to enjoy. much better than the other areas where it's all rep001tered. there area quite a lot of bbss in nanjing.

south of 1912, on taiping nan road, there are also a few. good selections, these two areas.
found a young girl at a bbs who was visiting a friend. good timing as i selected her and her friend had to show us to the room and tell her what to do. got her number and texted her for a few days.
couldn't find her at the bbs, so asked her out to a hotel for short time.
there are a lot of hotels that offer short time for like 50 to 80 rmb for anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. but i chose the ones in front of 1912 cause they look pretty good and i'm sure they cater to the couples who want quickies. got a room for 60 rmb for 2 hours. a block down, there's one for 80 rmb for 4 hours! oh well, depends if you want something longer i guess.
the room was very nice. nice ambiance. large bed, lcd tv, kinda small bathroom, and nice flowery room. great place for a quickie with your gal.
anyway, she came over and she's cuter than at the bbs. stripped, showered, and on the bed. she told me the pricing. at bbs, it's 150. outside, it's 200. coolness.
did her twice and it was gfe both times. much nicer than at the bbs, where it's mostly a 10 minute session. having a shower before and after the sex makes a world of difference. plus, having lights and a real bed without rushing makes the 200 rmb a real value.
200 plus 200 plus 50 tip plus 60 for room.

My apologies to those who I recently sent directions for the 150Y sauna. I've been out of town for awhile and upon return, have discovered that all the cheap saunas I know have been shuttered. Sign on door generally says "Closed til after National Holiday".
My understanding is the mid to high level places are still open for the time being.
I like living in NJ but it is a Double F-MINUS when it comes to finding something quick and convenient.

Haven't seen any. A bar at the end of the strip in 1912 has Ukraine pole dancers. If your walking down past Blue Marlin, scarlet,ramani etc and look up you'll see a sign on top left.
I never tried to see if they will go home with you or not.... but maybe it's a possibility if you spend some cash. :)

Just to thank BruceTea for his tips. Went to Nanjing, spent a bit of time in the streets west of 1912. Many BBS, as said (must have been before Asienfan went.), almost in every street running east-west, even south of the main avenue.
I finally settled for a 4-hands HJ by two cute glasses-wearing student like girls, for 120 RMB.
But something puzzles me. On several occasions I made eye contacts with a girl inside a BBS and she made clear she did not want me to come in. I don't think I'm scary or ugly to that extend.
Once I bumped into a stunningly beautiful girl just outside one of the BBS, she was going to buy some fruits nearby. I waited for her and and her way back she led me inside the BBS. Only for the mama-san to kick me out. I did not understand the conversation between the girl (who was soon sent upstairs) and the mama-san but clearly I was not welcome.
Does anyone have a clue? Some tacit agreement that westerners are riskier?

Welcome to China! Depending on the location in China, type of venue, etc., for various reasons, westerners are not welcome. Most of the time it is the fear perception of huge tools and everlasting stamina. Other times it could be that girls that do foreigners are less saleable to local punters. Sometimes the rejection is at the entire shop level, sometimes at the individual girl level. This is what you experienced.

i've still not gotten the exact "times" when the bbss close. you may have gone during a "warning" time and thus they shut down ahead of schedule.
during the crackdowns leading to oct. 1 (60th anniversary), i remember the bbss opened from 3 pm to 9 pm. this was not convenient as it was still daytime and who wants to be seen going in or out of those places? plus, those girls are scrunched and eating from 6 to 6:30, so there goes that.
nanjing bbss are relatively rep001tered. those tend to stay open a bit later and without fear of the le. those girls are also older and may not give fs (only hj) and definitely not foreigner friendly.
the more recognized cluster around 1912 and those at the street of don quixote have "updated info" and close immediately if they suspect anything. they'd have to since so many local mongers walk the streets of these areas. plus, there's a police station right near these clusters. the girls are prettier, so it's possible that they close as early as 7 pm.
but regulars know that during lax periods, they open way until or beyond 2 am.
i know that massage place in front of blue sky (the duck restaurant next to blue sky is delicious). yes, it's way too much. this is one of the things i hate about nj; the negotiations. they offer a price and expect you to negotiate, even in the storefront establishments. when and how i do not know, so i refuse and leave. then they start with with the "900" then "800" and by that time, i'm so fed up with their games (plus i wouldn't know the "real" price anyway), i would leave. but massage, fs, 1 pop is generally 800 to 888 rmb. as i remember, there's no shower in the rooms, so no soapie.
Spent last weekend in NJ, note that the Brauhaus is closed for renovation. Absolutely no problem checking into Jinling Hotel with company, receptionist did however mention that two breakfasts were included in the rate!

6月5日夜里10点半，十几辆警车停在热河路69号的名商酒店门前，数十名警察冲进名商酒店大堂，保安愕然地问：“干什么？”“我们是公安局的，例行检查！请配合一下。”警察出示证件后迅速来到二楼、三楼的夜总会包房展开检查。
包间内，穿着暴露、化着浓妆的陪侍小姐正与客人打情骂俏，看到警察后陪侍小姐顿时慌了，而客人则是面色尴尬，手都不知道往哪里放。警察询问过程中，有的小姐并不掩饰自己的身份，有的则是闪烁其词。
除了二楼三楼的名商夜总会，酒店整栋共7层楼都被封锁，各个电梯口、楼梯口都站着警察。7楼温泉会所的客人也被要求留在休息区，就连5楼酒店厨房里的厨师也被留在现场，逐一接受警察询问。

消费高档来者非富即贵
夜里11点多，第一批陪侍小姐和客人被带上一辆“苏0”牌号的大巴车。“终于有人来查小姐了！”酒店旁一位杂货店的老板说，他在这里住了几十年，名商酒店存在多年一直有小姐陪侍。这些小姐大多20岁左右，每天下午五点半左右上班，夜里两点以后会陆续离开，她们经常会到他店里买香烟。“她们收入水平还可以，最便宜也是买20元的金南京，要是和客人一起出来，买的至少是软中华。”这里的客人非富即贵，出手都很阔绰，陪侍小姐和客人的消费占了小店收入的很大份额。
名商酒店算是南京的高档消费场所。在酒店门口竖着一个高达3米的广告牌，上面写明夜总会常年招聘陪侍小姐。附近居民告诉记者，这里的老板有些“高调”，竖这样一个广告牌，路过的人都知道这里做什么勾当。据介绍，“高调”的老板是浙江温州人，2003年由下关区招商引资来此投资。一位知情人士说，虽然名商酒店消费档次颇高，但要想“玩”得好，周边找不到比这里更“安全”的地方。
“没有几千元别想出来”
“这里消费确实不便宜。”一名夜总会的客人也这么说，他因为检查前几分钟有事离开酒店，所以被拦在门外。这位不愿透露姓名的客人常来名商酒店的夜总会唱卡拉OK，据他介绍，KTV里的洋酒大都是600元起步，贵的有数千元一瓶。喊小姐陪侍也分档次，分成普通的“公主”和高档的“佳丽”。无论是“公主”，还是“佳丽”，都由管理人员带到包间，由客人挑选满意的留下，其余的离开。找一名“公主”陪侍最少要200元，而“佳丽”组的服务小姐最低要在300元以上，若是客人满意，还会另外再给小费。
“坐台的基本就是这样，小姐只陪唱歌，玩得HIGH了也能跳艳舞，客人会另外给钱。客人要想发生更进一步的关系，那就是出台了。想带走小姐没有800元根本免谈，过夜的起步价在1000元到1500元。”该客人表示，自己通常是四五个朋友一起过来玩，只是唱歌找陪侍就要花掉四五千元。
这名客人称，夜总会一共有52个包间，陪侍小姐100多名，平均每个包间都要消费到4000元以上，也就是说，仅仅夜总会一项，名商酒店每晚就能入账20万元以上。至于7楼的温泉会所，这名客人表示他不常去，但他听说“花样”更多，价格也不便宜。
有“小姐”从里面逃出？
夜里12点左右，警方对名商酒店的突击检查高潮已经过去，而警方的金龙大巴车和依维柯加在一起至少已经带走4车人，其中有陪侍小姐，也有在此娱乐消费的客人。
“好不容易出来了！”宾馆门口围观人群中，一名穿黑衣的浓妆女子显得很扎眼，她自称是从里面跑出来的，当时自己正在夜总会包间内服务，警察忽然冲进包厢，她借口到休息间换下工作服，随后从后门溜出了宾馆。
警方明明已经封锁所有出口，怎么还有人能溜出来？女子很不屑地说，“那么多出口呢！”该女子表示，公司里大多数服务员都是正当工作，工资并不高，负责前台、开酒等等，维持着宾馆的正常运营，只有一部分是专门负责陪侍。她是普通服务员，还是陪侍小姐？当记者提出这个问题，这名黑衣女子立即警惕地转身离开。
有人从二楼跳窗离开
真的能从里面逃出来？记者带着疑问在名商酒店周围寻找。忽然，一个男子从酒店二楼的一个窗口跳下来，并迅速离开。这个二楼的窗口原本有铁质的防盗栏杆，如今已经被掰弯一大半，男子正是从掰弯的缺口跳下，而这个缺口离地面约有三四米高。除了二楼的缺口外，记者还发现酒店南面的一个侧门，虽然用链条锁锁着，竟然可以打开一道缝隙，成年男子从缝隙里挤出来并不成问题。
凌晨1点半左右，警方的突击检查行动接近尾声，稍后警方从名商大酒店带出几名戴手铐的男子，迅速上了一辆黑色越野车驶离现场。

避风塘、红立方当晚同时被查
当晚，同时被查的还有避风塘桑拿浴、南京红立方娱乐有限公司等洗浴夜场。
一位从城南过来的的哥说，自己刚刚从汉中门的“避风塘”洗浴中心路过，本来是想接生意的，结果发现门口围满警察，没有一个拦车的客人，看样子是停业了，这很可能是南京市统一的检查行动。
位于秣陵路与王府大街路口的“红立方”，同样查出有偿陪侍的问题。附近居民看到，会所大门被警察封锁，无关人员禁止进入，大约一两个小时后陆续有男男女女被警车带走，行动同样是持续到半夜。消息人士透露，这是南京市公安局统一布置的检查行动。
三家被查洗浴夜场“内部装修”
昨天晚上6点，记者再次来到名商大酒店。这里虽然经过了一夜风波，大门却依然敞开。据前台小姐称，KTV和温泉桑拿因为“内部装修”而暂停营业，名商大酒店目前只提供餐饮和住宿服务。“内部装修”是否与前晚的检查行动有关，她闭口不答。
据附近居民说，之前每到傍晚名商周围都会停不少车，但直到昨天下午6点多，名商大酒店门口的车辆寥寥无几，不仅进出的客人明显减少，而且不少长住的客人也走了。一位居民指着名商门口空车位说，“停在这里的车好长时间没有挪过窝，今天突然就空了。”
随后，记者又走访了位于汉中路上的避风塘，这家避风塘以桑拿洗浴为主营项目。在洗浴中心的门口挂出“内部装修，暂停营业”的告示牌，透过大厅玻璃可以看见，整个温泉会所空空荡荡，听不见任何装修的噪音。
红立方娱乐公司同样停止营业，记者拨打服务电话要求预约包间，工作人员表示，“非常抱歉，内部装修。”至于何时能恢复营业，他表示，还不知道，可能要一段时间。

I can't imagine a girl will go to PRC from EE for a mere rmb400 a night (if and when chosen that night, could well be sometime they are not chosen for a night, especially in those big locations)
They certainy have to supplement their income with something more substantial. And a possible tip adding to the sitting fees is not much.
Taking into account that even if available for take away not necessarily some will take them away.
So the extras can be less than the monthly booking factor.. it is math! :)

“没有几千元别想出来”
“这里消费确实不便宜。”一名夜总会的客人也这么说，他因为检查前几分钟有事离开酒店，所以被拦在门外。这位不愿透露姓名的客人常来名商酒店的夜总会唱卡拉OK，据他介绍，KTV里的洋酒大都是600元起步，贵的有数千元一瓶。喊小姐陪侍也分档次，分成普通的“公主”和高档的“佳丽”。无论是“公主”，还是“佳丽”，都由管理人员带到包间，由客人挑选满意的留下，其余的离开。找一名“公主”陪侍最少要200元，而“佳丽”组的服务小姐最低要在300元以上，若是客人满意，还会另外再给小费。
“坐台的基本就是这样，小姐只陪唱歌，玩得HIGH了也能跳艳舞，客人会另外给钱。客人要想发生更进一步的关系，那就是出台了。想带走小姐没有800元根本免谈，过夜的起步价在1000元到1500元。”该客人表示，自己通常是四五个朋友一起过来玩，只是唱歌找陪侍就要花掉四五千元。
这名客人称，夜总会一共有52个包间，陪侍小姐100多名，平均每个包间都要消费到4000元以上，也就是说，仅仅夜总会一项，名商酒店每晚就能入账20万元以上。至于7楼的温泉会所，这名客人表示他不常去，但他听说“花样”更多，价格也不便宜。
有“小姐”从里面逃出？

Been there maybe 5 times and have always been able to get FS with no problem. It's a bit pricey - a little under RMB1000 (they charge about RMB100 or so for a shower) - but it gets you a nice massage and good FS for an hour.
English is pretty limited - since I'm a westerner they sometimes send me a girl with a few words of English - but the mamasan seems to understand okay. If you don't like the girl, you can ask for another, but if she doesn't speak english it's difficult. Last time I was there was April.
Hopefully that's still open as, aside from a in-room massage (which is pretty expensive & limited), it's been my standby when visiting.

I've been here for about three months and have tried the saunas that are still open. The one by Jimmy's seems to be ok but the choices there are a bit slim. Or shall I say, large. As in slightly larger gals. Not bad for 580RMB but I'm looking for some high quality.

thanksthe central hotel. go thru the front entrance and head straight. you will have to angle towards the right slightly and when you come to stairs leading down, you will see a sign that says hot springs. go down.

there are two types. 1) ktv box which is for anyone and everyone and yes, you do sing. 2) ktv with 'hostesses'. there is singing there too but with a selection of girls to choose from which i will describe below.
the two are sometimes difficult to distinguish from the outside but the best way to tell is the high-end ktv hostess bars have displays in the windows or big ads for ballentynes, hennessey, crown royal or other somewhat high-end liquors.
the ktv hostess bars that you are interested in here in nj are probably the one in the basement of the jinling hotel or up on the lobby floor of the crowne plaza. there are other ones rep001tered around although finding the best one, is probably best done with someone local and in business that involves entertaining guests from out of town. or govt. officials because they are the ones who spend the most money there.
the typical setup is nice rooms varying in size from small to grandiose. if you can speak putonghua then it makes it much easier but the larger ones do have at least one english speaker so it makes it a bit smoother. there is a room fee which can range from 200rmb up to 1, 000rmb also dependent upon room size and locale.
you would begin by being escorted to a room dependent upon the number in your group. the next step is to choose something to drink which is usually either a bottle of your favorite spirits or a 6-12 can / bottle 'package' of beer. this can range from cheap 200rmb (beer) to expensive 1500rmb (hennessey).
there is a big screen tv for karaoke, a big table with dice games and typically some gaudy decoration but more than likely clean and comfortable.
next, a mamasan or boss will come in and ask you if you are ready for the girls.
a lineup of girls will begin and dependent upon size of the overall place and the time of evening, this can range from small (20 total) to massive (saw one in dongguan with 1, 500 gals)
you will then choose 1, 2 or 3 gals to sit with you and this will range from 200rmb. 800rmb 'sitting fee' per girl.

there are two types. 1) ktv box which is for anyone and everyone and yes, you do sing. 2) ktv with 'hostesses'. there is singing there too but with a selection of girls to choose from which i will describe below.
the two are sometimes difficult to distinguish from the outside but the best way to tell is the high-end ktv hostess bars have displays in the windows or big ads for ballentynes, hennessey, crown royal or other somewhat high-end liquors.
the ktv hostess bars that you are interested in here in nj are probably the one in the basement of the jinling hotel or up on the lobby floor of the crowne plaza. there are other ones rep001tered around although finding the best one, is probably best done with someone local and in business that involves entertaining guests from out of town. or govt. officials because they are the ones who spend the most money there.
the typical setup is nice rooms varying in size from small to grandiose. if you can speak putonghua then it makes it much easier but the larger ones do have at least one english speaker so it makes it a bit smoother. there is a room fee which can range from 200rmb up to 1, 000rmb also dependent upon room size and locale.
you would begin by being escorted to a room dependent upon the number in your group. the next step is to choose something to drink which is usually either a bottle of your favorite spirits or a 6-12 can / bottle 'package' of beer. this can range from cheap 200rmb (beer) to expensive 1500rmb (hennessey).
there is a big screen tv for karaoke, a big table with dice games and typically some gaudy decoration but more than likely clean and comfortable.
next, a mamasan or boss will come in and ask you if you are ready for the girls.
a lineup of girls will begin and dependent upon size of the overall place and the time of evening, this can range from small (20 total) to massive (saw one in dongguan with 1, 500 gals)
you will then choose 1, 2 or 3 gals to sit with you and this will range from 200rmb. 800rmb 'sitting fee' per girl.

The closest thing so far is the Central hotel where I went back a second time in search of a lower price point. There are lower cost options and the one for 680 was my choice for second try.
In short, you get what you pay for. The girl they sent in was also 40% less in terms of attractiveness as well. I had her call the mamasan and was informed that she was one of two girls that are in that category so I asked for the other one. Much worse. I opted for the 1280 option again and this time she brought in a lineup of 5 girls of which all were hot (8-9's)
Repeat performance of the first visit.
I would recommend you go there or wait until someone can inform us of a place such as the SH / BJ / DG ones that we know and love.

I found another BBS near Xinjiekou (more blatantly as a shag joint though). Let's start with the directions.
1. On Zhongshan East road, there is an intersection to a north-south main road called Hongwu Road. Take road southwards on the east side. You'll come to a MickieDees at about 180-200 meters. Just at the McDs, take the east small road (Youfu West Alley) and walk about 150ms eastwards (passing by 2 right turns) and take the 3rd right turn (south) to Yanting Alley. About 80 meters on the west side of this road you'll see a small shop with pink neon lights, which is very blatant it's not a BBS / MP but a screw joint (yet the windows say otherwise!). In fact, looking at the costumes / clothes that the girls wear, it's pretty obvious. If you're walking southwards you won't see it till you're right in front of it because the shop before it blocks the view.
The are about 5-7 girls there, pick any one you want, grades ranging from 6-8. Damage is 150 for the massage, and 200 for FS / ST. Double Concubines is 400. Be aware that the time is pretty short, so it's a "wham-bam-thank you mdm" establishment. 1. 1912 Bars (especially the loud techno / trance ones)
As most people who have already RTFF would already know this, but here's to a little more detail.
I was at 1912 and couldn't make up my mind on which bar to go to. I went to Blue Marlin, and found that the place is pretty much a live band bar. There are some WGs here and there, but most are already preoccupied with western men. So I left the place and looked for other venues.
The problem with most of the bars here in 1912 is that it's catered mostly to the younger local populace, so you have lots of loud techno or house music. Good if you're into the scene, bad if you're not. And the worst thing is that since the bars are catered towards locals, english is very limited here so it's best if you know some Chinese.
I went to several places that were touted, but didn't left pretty quickly due to the overwhelming testosterone levels there. The last place I went to was Touch1, where I was amazed there were hot girls around.
So the tout got me a corner sofa seat, and I ordered a couple of coronas and a platter of fruit. He also got me a sitting girl for RMB. 200, which was pretty cheap since they sit with you the whole night. You can play games, chat (if you know mandarin) but no silly hanky panky. Hence like I said before, you need to know some Chinese to be able to enjoy these spots.
Then I realized that the girl I have with me, is a "sister", who is in charge of two groups of girls. 1. Models, and 2. Xiao Jies (little ladies / Miss). Difference between the two is that Models will sit with you and have fun, but that's it. Misses can do the above and have the option of take-out for RMB. 600. YMMV because you can negotiate and see what you end up with. Hence if you do ask for girls, you must tell the tout which category you want. Just tell them "I want / don't want take out" before you start your selection. They will bring several girls over (one at a time) and you can choose what pleases your senses. The girls never ask for girlie drinks, just buy your drinks before hand and that's it. But of course when you order more drinks, the girls get a commission from that. Each month a model can make up to around RMB5k. I never got a chance to ask the XiaoJies.
I took some time to ask the tout and he told me that they sometimes have foreign customers as well, so they do have some girls with limited english-speaking abilities, but not much. They have been trying to get more english-speaking girls but it's hard as they are pretty much sought after by the other clubs doing the same thing. Also. Models outnumber the Xiaojies by 2 to 1, so you got to get there earlier to really get your pick.
Just some bits of info about these girlie bars.

After I left the bar I hopped into a cab with a very young and eloquent driver. Told him to bring me back to my hotel, and he was trying to suggest another new venue.
He asked if I wanted women for take out, and they will be young girls who are currently in University doing their undergrad. What is going to happen is that he will bring me to a KTV place, you pay RMB. 80 for the room, then choose your girl, and then pay about RMB. 500 for your take out (again YMMV for the takeout price). According to him, what most people do is they go to the KTV, pay for the room fee, get the girl, and immediately leave with their takeout. Hence they don't bother ordering drinks, food, or even singing. The room fee is basically like the mamasan fee (haha).
Now I know what you are thinking, but I felt a little weird that the driver spoke really eloquent Chinese, and that he was pretty young when compared to most cab drivers who have really heavy jiangsu accents and are much older, hence I declined the offer fearing that it was LE. The next day when I checked with the bellboy of my hotel, he did confirm that there are many night-shift taxi drivers offering the same kind of services, and that these KTV takeout services are actually real. He also said the driver that I encountered might be a student himself who is doing night shifts for money, hence the young age and eloquent Chinese speaking skills.
So if you're in the mood for easy take-outs with SYTs, this is probably what you can choose to do. Please do take note that the KTVs are located near the University areas, so can be pretty much further away from Xinjiekou.
That sounds familiar because I've done that myself many times.
There are clusters of them around hotels where foreigners stay although the quality is hit and miss.
There's one close by where I live and oddly, there was a gal there over Chinese New Years that was a 9. 5. She spoke english and dressed better than any MP / BBS gal or for that matter, KTV gal.
I saw her every day for a week then she dissapeared. Her story was that she was going to school here and needed some money over the holidays because she didn't want to go back to Sichuan.
Got her number but now it doesn't work. Oh well.
Aside from the places I posted about previously, I recently found a full-service quasi fishbowl over on Hangzhongmen the jie, about 3 blocks before you get to the big Auchan supermarket. It looks like the decor from the place on Shanghai Lu / Guangzhou Lu that closed down last summer and I suspect that it's probably the same owners.
The price is 880 although the selection is a bit dissapointing. Nothing more than a 6-6. 5 and quite a few larger gals if that floats your boat.
Also, went to the Zhongshan hotel 3rd floor Sauna although the selection was equally dismal. Pricing of 580 but some heavy duty gals on duty. Not a good visit although during the nights it might be better.

I have been there a few times recently and I think it is the hardest city in China I have experienced to find hoares. A few year back it was much better. German Brauhaus in Jinling basement and Danny's Irish Bar in Sheraton ALWAYS Had a selection of freelancers. 4) all the pubs like Jimmy's, Finnegans, Danny's, Blue Sky are all quite lame in terms of working gals although there are sometimes gals walking around 1912 and you can chat them up. I would not take any advice from hawkers or taxi drivers because once, I went to a place and they tried to shake me down for 6000RMB and then sent a big dude to the ATM with me. However, I did manage to get a few numbers from some gals in the hallway and one ended up freelancing but she asked for 2000RMB. If you really want to see some hotties there is Jinyu Huangguan Club on Shigu Road between Mochou Lu and Wangfudajie and then Greek Mythology in Sunglo plaza.
Sorry to not have better info but I'll check out the Zhongshan hotel again and report back. If anyone has insight its much appreciated.

Even when there is not a crackdown you always want to be extra careful when you are doing something illegal. BBS in my opinion are safer than bringing girls back to your hotel. Sunday night, I went to the BBS so as to see by myself how this place is. I went to the Nantai alley where I saw four place with girls inside waiting for clients, around 21. Pm. The place were full of girls and I saw no guards or police man around but for being sure I walk around there 2 times. I also went to the place near of taj mahal restaurant. I was told this by a guy that worked behind the window at the Chinese embassy in the USA as I was applying for my visa. If I remember the conversation correctly. I asked do people ever get denied enter to China. He said yes. Depends of what crime you committed in your home country or if you go to China and commit a crime you will have visa problems. He told me your visa gets stamped of the crime you committed. Maybe he meant they mark you in their data base. I did not want to ask him too much about committing crimes in China because I did not want him to think I was planning a crime there. LOL. Being a frequent traveler to Thailand. I remember overstaying my visa there and the Thai government stamped my visa saying that I overstayed exactly right next to my Thailand stamp I got entering the country. In Thailand overstaying is not a big deal. China is not Thailand. China is much more strict. So I am assuming what he said was the same. As you know China is trying to get rid of sex tourism right now. If you are caught having sex with a hooker. Most likely you will be arrested. You will now have a criminal record in China for life. If you want to go back to China most likely you will have trouble getting a visa. How long who knows maybe for life. It depends on who in China is in government power there at the time. I doubt now would be a good time for guys that got arrested for sex tourism to get a passport to go China now. I never claimed to be an expert on China. But thank you for the commitment.

So I've been to a few BBS this past week over on Nantai Alley and not only are they charging more, they are quite paranoid about LE. Everytime the front door opened and a male voice would boom out (imagine loud men in China haha) they would immediately stop what they are doing and listen, ready to hurriedly dress. Admittedly, I was a bit paranoid myself so for the time being, will just stay away. Frustrating indeed although better than the alternative eh?

You have the wrong idea. You are thinking the police are trying to pick the lock which is wrong. Hotel rooms in China are considered communal property. The police get the hotel mayer and have them open it. Its always a gamble when your with a working girl.

If it the integrated type that locks another bolt into the door frame, many master keys unlock this also. However, if it is a totally separate safety latch on the inside of the door, then they would need to force the door as TelTel has witnessed.
However, I think that this current yanda will soon be over (maybe early May), and the police will revert to their previous directive (from the central government) of not entering hotel rooms uninvited. So we will be able to feel safe again; much, much safer than banging away in some less than savoury BBS.

Can't tell you the location, sorry. The sauna last time I checked was open after 12am to 8am to avoid the police raids. As regard Miss Snow I wouldn't both as there are better. I went to the Zhongshan hotel today to check that out. Two words: Don't go.

Well after some searching on Bing I finally managed to locate the Blue Beach Sauna Center.
As it turns out, it's not even that far from my hotel, it took me about 30 minutes to walk there. I chose to walk because I then could explore the city a bit more.
The good news is, it's still open for business, the bad news is that after the stories of Peter Christo I was expecting a bit more but maybe I just had bad luck.
So I got there tonight around 7:30 pm. I walked in from the street and entered in a nice lobby with a grand staircase and the end of the lobby. But don't worry, you won't be using it.
There was a guy face flat on a desk and a girl uninterested behind a counter. I walked over to the counter and the guy woke up and summoned me to go and sit in the sofas across from the counter.
He handed me some slippers and signed me to take off my shoes, which I did, after which I got an electronic key to a locker. Those of you who went to Golden Time or other FKK in Germany will know the system.
Next, he called someone who came and brought me to a lockerroom next to the lobby where I had to get undressed and then he showed me to the sauna-space. The guy stays at the entrance of the sauna-place. Basically it's a big room with a hottub, 4 showers, a sauna and a massagebed where some guy will wipe you dry if I saw correctly. They also have packaged toothbrushes available that you can use. I decided to wait a bit in the hottub so see what the Chinese guys who were already in there were doing so I could get an idea of how it worked.
So you go in there, you shower, take a hottub and sauna if you want to, but afterwards you go back to the entrance of the sauna-room and the guy at the entrance gets a towel and wipes your back. I have to admit that it was the first time that a guy wiped my back with a towel.
Then he gives you the towel and you finish the work yourself.
After that he gives you a sort of pants and a tunic (to wear and shows you to a little staircase in the corner of the lockerroom.
When I got upstairs I was greeted by a guy who signed me to follow him. I followed him through different corridors until we finally got to a door which was closed. He knocked on the door and a lock came off after which it swayed open and I had the follow the guy at the other end of the door who also immediately locked the door again with a sliding lock. I'm guessing this is to delay or prevent the cops from entering in the "forbidden" zone where the extra activities take place.

In my search for a little bit of fun in Nanjing, I already mentioned that I had seen two spots where I wanted to pay a visit to.
I went to both places but unfortunately, nobody at the aforementioned locations speaks any English which makes it a whole lot harder.
One is a Sauna Club, or so it says on the door but when I started talking in English at the counter, they waved me away. The other one, nextdoor, looks pretty modern but there's no sign telling me what it is. All I know is that I saw a few pretty girls walk in there. If I look it up on Google Maps, I can see the name Xiang Alley International Club. With a name like that it's either a club or a house. Difficult to tell. If someone knows what it is, please do share. It's in the Yanling Alley which is a road which runs parallel with Taiping Road where 1912 is located.

So, wound up had some interesting adventures in Nanjing. Thanks for the few that helped and sorry for those I couldn't connect further with. Here's the first one.

That said, it is very dangerous to make the conversion from RMB to USD for comparison. China is a completely different economy and should be viewed as that. 200 RMB is a normal BBS price and even double is not unheard of for BBFS (however dangerous it may be to indulge). My experience is around 50% of BBS girls will agree for BBFS for no extra charge, however. It is appropriate to give them a tip for BB even if they do not upsell you. It is not necessary to tip her just because you want to repeat. She will be very happy when you return.
