She will then ask whether you would like to have special services. HJ is an additional RMB 200 of "tips". FS is RMB 800. A couple of girls started with telling me it is RMB 800 of tips on top of the massage. But when I refuse to take the FS, they would say that it's RMB 800, inclusive of the fees for 2 hours (2 50-mins sessions) of massage.

I didn't try any FS in this place at all. The price is a bit too high to start with. And the idea of the girls' hands and my equipment (though mostly on the bag) covered with oil, and then a condom would be put on, isn't that cool with me. Depends on what kind of oil (or the composition) they are using, it may actually create very tiny holes on the condom, making me susceptable of all kinds of STD, including HIV.

I did have a very nice and un-rush HJ by a young girl from Wenzhou during this trip. And she actually finished the second hour with massage after the HJ. But another girl (older one) from Shen Yang I had the other night wasn't very great. Her look wasn't very high quality to begin with. Once I turned her down for FS, she became very un-enthusiastic. There is apparently another new 5-star hotel in the downtown area call "Hot Spring" (Wen Quan). Not sure how the quality is. But there has to be some kind of actions there too.

There is also a bar called "Normandy" in the basement level of Lakeside, between the main building and the north building. Very quiet. I passed by the place last night after my massage (which was about 12:30). It was completely empty. I just took a look and walked on. A girl inside saw me and came right out after me. When she caught up with me at the elevator, she asked whether I was staying at the hotel, and how about coming with me to give me a massage. Her look was about a 6. Not extremely attractive. I wouldn't have taken her in any case, as I had just finished with my massage. So I told her I had one already.

well, brothers, this is the tale of my stay in fuzhou. its a few weeks old, but it should still be of use to you guys.

like sniffer, i stayed at the lakeside hotel, rather nice place and not bad price, but i dont know chinese 5-star hotel prices. it was 450 rmb a night, which i didnt pay anyway, but still not bad and the location is very nice, off the main street and on a nice lake. for some stupid reason, i'd forgotten sniffers report while i was there so i didnt partake of any services at that hotel, but i figured from what i saw that it was available and the next time i'm there, i think i will. i was in the basement bar once with one of the guys i travelled with and there were no ladys then, but he told me that another night he went down alone, he was approached.

the place i found service at was the sauna at juchunyuan hotel. not sure if this is the same place that jman told about in his report., but it seems very similar and was also on the 4th floor. if i recall correctly its on the ne corner of dong jie square...sorry, dont remember the chinese word for square. actually a dept. store is right on the corner and the hotel is just to the right of it. its interesting as this square is more of an intersection that has an elevated pedestrian walkway ringing the interesection. once you enter the hotel, stay to your right and go all the way back til you get to an elevator also on your right. take it to the 4th floor and you walk out to the lobby of the sauna. you check your shoes and get a number tag which you take to the checkin desk to get a locker key. the locker/shower room leaves a lot to be desired by western standards, so dont be turned off, the service waiting you is worth it. you undress, so porter locks up, you take the key and go for a shower to your left. you'll see the area between the lockers and shower there's a guy giving out shorts and shirt, so put those on and then go up the stairs to the resting hall, as jman called it and it seems appropriate. its a large hall, like ballroom size with a many towel covered chair with guys sitting facing a large projection screen at one end get foot massages, or so thats my understanding. lot of young girls and woman standing around and sitting too, varying degrees of attractiveness, but almost all on the upper end. the mamasan that i saw at least was a lil older then the girls, maybe early 30's, a lil full-bodied and fully clothed so you wont mistake her for a massage girl. my travel companion introduced me the first time i was there, so the second time she recognized me, but i'm sure all you have to say is "zhoo eye" [which i believe is the phonetic for fs] and point to the door way at the back of the hall, which will be on your right when you come in from the stairs, where the service rooms are, she'll take you back and get you serviced.

Finally back to Fuzhou. Arrived in the morning and went through endless meetings, talks and foods. Foods are great in Fuzhou as well, especially if you like seafood.

Finally get back to hotel at 10 pm, I purposely stay at the one with suana I reported early. Good room and easy access to action. Right outside the hotel is a bar street with somewhere liek 10 bars in a row. Went to get some drinks there. The bars are kind of dead but it's Sunday night.

Most sauna's in Fuzhou have FS packages for around 3-400 RMB which includes the entrance fee and FS with a girl. You can definitely get FS in all saunas.

There really is no need to pay for sex in Fuzhou - just go to any bar, go up to any girl that is not sitting with a guy and not wearing an employee tag and start to chat her up. The ones wearing employee tags will also stay and chat with you but her job is to make sure you buy lots of drinks and get you drunk as quickly as possible.

Just about every girl in Fuzhou is thinking about migrating out of China so when a Lao Wai (foreigner) hits on them, they are more than happy to be your girlfriend.

Stay away from the Tianfu sauna! Went there in the afternoon to just shower and relax a little, sure enough girl came up and asked if I wanted a massage, I said no thanks. Latest figures I've heard are 65k so at 30k+ you are selling yourself too cheap. I was offered 30k in Suzhou over 10 years ago. Beware! It is not as easy as it sounds and very, very illegal, however. IMHO, not worth the risk. Be careful my friends.

My company will send me to spend a week in Putian, a city midway between Fuzhou and Xiamen. Am wondering if any WSGers know any good BBS, sauna, or massage places in this city that are worth checking out, and where I should stay to be close to the actions.

JJThe street behind the Tian Fei Hotel, Xiaotang Jie, has quite a few BBSes. (Tian Fei is probably the main tourist and business hotel in Putian.) If you are standing at the main entrance to the Tian Fei, you are on the North side of a E-W street. Accross the street are couple of BBSes which may serve your needs. However, for better service, walk West, to the next intersection, turn right, head North, and you'll end up on Xiaotang Jie. The Tian Fei will be on your right. (No back doors that I know of.) Look for BBSes with pink lights on either side of the street. Some open for business early afternoon, but after dark is usually your best bet. Prices: 200 for basic service. Most no BBJ, but there are some exceptions.

There are probably other places as well. Tell us about your experiences, please.

Since there is no Quanzhou page, I am posting a report here.

For those headed to Quanzhou (3 hours South of Fuzhou), I found a bar called the "Scotland Music Club", I don't have the exact address but it is about a 10 minute walk along Quanxiu Jie, in an easterly direction from the intersection of Wenling Lu and Quanxiu Jie (next to the Bus Station). The place is on the right next to a big KTV bar. It is a Scottish theme bar but has a live performances ranging from a live band (Filipino), comedy acts, dancing girls and most importantly a model show. No English is spoken. Many of the girls were very beautiful and judging by the way they sat with some of the drunken Chinese business groups there, I think a take home is very possible. I didn't bother asking (out of my price range) but I am guessing a girl would want KTV prices (1k+).

Good thing about this place is that it was quite a nice bar and you don't have to sit through the whole KTV experience (hiring rooms, listening to shit music etc) to talk to the girls.

ReptileThere are other opportunities in that area as well. From the Scotland Pub, go to the corner of Wenling and Quanxiu, and walk south on Wenling, on the left side of the road. After the hospital, there will be a couple of alleys going left. Look for the one with a BBS with a pair of hearts. Go over, ask for massage, and make hand signs or whatever to let them know you mean sex. One of the women will take you to her apartment for 200. They're only moderately good-looking, but sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

On Quanxiu Jie, between Wenling and the bus station, you will find the Jing Du Hotel, on the north side of the street, across the street from the Dong Fang Disco. I haven't tried the sauna, yet, but it does include massage, and the posters of naked women in the waiting room lead me to believe you could negotiate _shufu_ (satisfaction = sex, in this settings.) I don't know the price.

At the Ba Yi (8.1 or army) Hotel on Wenling Road, there is a sauna. They offer a woman who will wash you in a tub, and probably give you sex, to judge by the bed in the room next to the bath room. Price: I was quoted about 400 rmb, but haggle, haggle, haggle.

I've heard of fishbowls in a couple hotels in the suburb of Jinjiang, but have not seen them myself.

I was last weekend in Fuzhou and for those who need some directions, here is a report for 2 places I visited: The sauna at the Junchunyuan hotel, 4th floor at N°2, Dongjie, and the Sauna center at the Golden resources international hotel (GRI Hotel), 5th floor, on N°59 Wen Quan Gong Yuan road.

There is no comparison whatsoever between the 2, neither in the quality of the girls nor that of the premises. The fist one is a little bit crappy, good for letting the steam out if you are in a rush and do not have, or do not want to spend too much (300 for one shot, 400 for two: to be negotiated upfront), while the second. Came back to FOC for a short holiday and my friends tell me that the Golden Lily Hotel sauna is the best these days so of course, had to check it out for myself.

Location is at WenQuan Lu (Hot Springs road) and WenQuanZhi Lu right across from the old Hot Springs bathhouse. In my desperation I ended up using the in-Hotel massage service at Golden Resources Hotel mentioned below. They probably knew about the crackdown and were therefore FIRM on 1k RMB for ST in your room. No haggling was possible.

I've been to Fu Ding - you can get there without riding on a ferry. About 200K people live there. Not many foreigners. I was there with my wife, so I did not search for services, but if you can speak some Chinese you'll be able to find some.

My last trip to Fuqing was over a year ago. So I'm not sure whether this is still accurate.

If we are talking about the same Duo Fu Hotel, there was a sauna inside. Once you have showered, they would ask you what kind of service would you want. I think I paid something like RMB 400 for FS. They would actually take you to a hotel floor and put you in a room. Girls would then be brought to you.

On that particular trip, the look of the girls were not very high quality. I ended up choosing one that is slightly older (25 or 26 I think), but turned out to be an excellent GFE.

There was another local hotel around the corner called Golden Eagle (Jin Ying). I've stayed there once, and it's a very run down hotel. There was also a sauna in the hotel, and I think this one charged even cheaper for FS, something like RMB 200 or 250. But that was almost 2 years ago. The girl weren't very good looking. But they were again surprisingly GFE. One girl even offered to spend the night with me for free. I just thought that was too good to be true and did not take up the offer.

Haven't tried any BBS in Fuqing, and not sure whether there are many.

Not sure if you have been to Fuqing in the past. It is a very small town. And not sure whether you speak any Chinese. If there are some BBS' in town, I would doubt their ability (and friendliness) in dealing with foreigners or people who don't speak the language.

But as mentioned earlier, I haven't been to that area for over a year. Things might have changed.

I arrived today in Fuqing.
Checked in the Fuqing Sunshine Hotel , not bad for the price (330rmb) for a de luxe room. including Internet and Breakfast.

Maybe it is possible to approach them for another session ?, I did not check because I was quite happy with the session I got at the brothel.

I post a scan of there business card, there is a small map in Chinese on the backside. I also post a map of where the establishment are located, marked with an black “X”. She handed me a note with a phone number on it, I later tried to call this number just out of curiosity but it did not seem to work.

Lakeside Hotel

2 years back I stayed at the Lakeside hotel in Fuzhou, they have a seedy bar in the basement called “Normandy Bar”, some P4P girls where hanging around there. But they where not great in looks and spoke little English, anyway horny and 10 beers later I picked up one of them for ST. The experience was average, if I remember correctly the damage was 600RMB. I think if you pay more than 400RMB in China you have been had (except maybe Beijing and Shanghai). I'll be in Fuzhou and Sanming (another city in Fujian Province) in about 2 weeks, then I'll add a report, but I assume that if you can negotiate in Chinese you should be able to find girls for 150RMB.

In my experience the price is lowest if you have some street with lots of different shops with girls, then if they ask for too much you can just go next-door and the price will drop significantly very quickly.

Maybe our tastes in women are different, I found the street hookers and those offering massages in Sanming plain horrible, the only good thing was the price offer of 20RMB for a massage, which I still declined, since the girl grossed me out so much (short, fat, blonde colored hair, tattoo on her breast, I wonder how the heck she can live on giving massages to men?). Followed the advice of an earlier report and visited 翡翠明珠 (Fei Cui Ming Zhu) yesterday.

Reached there around 1 am and thought the place was closed as the front neon lights were off - apparently the place is open 24 hrs!

Anyway, nice clean place to go - Rmb300 for "full" service - all-inclusive though I had to pay extra Rmb5 for a can of coke.

You shower and go and steam yourself in the common bathing area - hot pool available too. Then you go upstairs to a private room where the action begins. Very professional!

This time I stayed at the Lakeside Hotel, as my usual place the Shangri-La, was full, this turned out to be a lucky coincidence.

Here is a more detailed report of sauna at hotel Min Capital.

Went to Fuzhou for a quick trip. Read about Min Capital in the forum and decided to give it a shot. Got in a cab from my hotel and told the driver to go to "Min Du Fan Dian". Stayed at Kingston hotel this time. A nice 4-star hotel that you can book from many popular travel sites. If anyone does not want to pay for Shangri La, it is a good alternatives. Costs about half of Shangri La.

Fuzhou is a little difficult. Lived there (apartment) 6 months earlier this year, and visited there (hotel) about 8 weeks in 2007. Stayed at the hotel on the river. I think it was called riverview or riverside hotel. Nice place.

Second floor is the spa. You can order take out also.

$100 USD for 90 minutes in the spa. Shower, then a robe made for a midget is given to you. Into a room with a few chairs, massage table and TV. They send a girl in with a small skirt. No one there speaks english.

to start it's a very nice hotel. rated as a 4 star, but nicer than most (chinese) rated 5 star hotels. price was fairly reasonable at under rmb500/night.

the highlight was the paradise sauna on the 3rd floor.

it was very busy with boatloads of punters on a thursday night at 10pm. still service was good and didn't have to wait at all.

as i was in the sauna lobby there was what looked to be a family entering. husband, wife & a teenage daughter. in they went to the mens/womens area. so seems to have both legit services.

asked the serviceman what kind of services they had and he responded showing me the english menu showing foot massage, body massage etc. as discretely as possible being a very obvious foreigner, i asked what other services they had and he asked me to step into the locker room and have a look around. in there he explained that the highest price menu item at 360rmb was 1 hour "quan tao de" (complete package. all in. full service). he also said they had some "models" that were a bit more expensive and were used to servicing foreigners. how much? 438rmb was the friendly reply. fair enough. sold. off i went

Hey guys, thanks for all the great reports. Based on the recommendations below, I have so far checked out Mindu Sauna, Western Hotel, and the place next to the Wal-Mart.

Mindu Sauna

The place is located to the side of the hotel. You change and shower on the first floor. You can get a massage on the second floor, and the girls are on the third floor. Lately, I have been able to go straight up to the 3rd floor without changing in that disgusting locker room. I don't know why they make you change and shower on the first floor since the girl makes you shower in the room anyway.

As for the girls, I haven't seen any that are really attractive. There are some cute ones, but most girls there are plain and average looking girl. I have been there several times and the most attractive girl there I think is #16, a cute little spinner. The place does have some hot looking girls but sadly those girls only offer massages with happy endings. The price at Mindu is 300 with a regular discount of 30 so you can expect a session to go for 270. Also, the guys sometimes will try to upsell if they think you're native. Some of the guys would quote me 370 RMB for a session. Just tell them you have been here before and the session was always 270 with the discount.

Place next to Wal-Mart

It is on the fifth floor in the building that is to the left of Wal-Mart. A session there runs about 300. I have only been there once. I decided to check this place out after reading about Asdvlerner's review of the place. A session there runs about 360. Same deal as the other places, you change into a robe and get escorted into a room. They brought two girls to my room. One of them was really plain looking and the other one was smoking hot. Checked out the inhouse service at the golden resources (jinyuan) hotel. Located on 5th floor (same as inhouse KTV)

Tried to be subtle at first but front of desk was pretty happy to whip out the FS option at RMB 680 (tried to haggle but they were only interested in giving discounts for "upselling" which I wasnt interested in)

Led to a decent room (bed not too hard) with TV + shower (which was better than my rooms, and I tried two!). First girl (#55) they showed was a no go. Came back with two others which were marginally better. Finally showed up with two good ones (should have taken that "buy one get another for less price" offer.). Think they were #7 and #21. Picked #7.

I reached today the Hotel Sunshine.

Every thing is alright except not an alphabet of English.

They have a sauna, (name sake) and at a lower level they have the MP.

LS hotel (you know, it's on the side of a body of water)

FZ is said not to be the best place for P4P. So if you're stuck here and don't know the language, then I suggest the LS. For this reason but also to share about some cautions.

First, this concerns a thurs. Evening 10:30pm visit to the KTV made recently. It's in the basement as I recall. Go to the general lounge which turned out to be a bare, rectangular shaped room. Small bar counter on your left as soon as you enter the room. I sat on one of the few stools and scanned the room.

There were just two couples hanging out; the two women were scags, so probably they were all hotel guests. But no girls. Surprisingly, the waitress / manager approached with some good English. I ordered a beer and then asked her if they had KTV girls. Another surprise was like she assumed I wanted WG for FS and so there were no comm. Barriers about the basics. She told me it would be 1000 for 1hr. I negotiated for 3 hours and she accepted. But she would not agree to give me a choice of girl.

Of course, at this point some people will jump to criticize the price. But FZ is an upscale city. I believe it has one of the highest economic levels in China. Another thing is simply supply and demand. Doubtless that prices can change anytime depending on demand. Surely the particular day and time can affect prices. If I really got screwed, then I can chalk it up to experience. With that said, let me continue particularly to point out some mongering pitholes that I fell into.

I had yet to fully agree about the terms; at least not until the girl came. While I waited for her, two gorgeous girls walked by the lounge into the adjoining hallway of private KTV rooms. They apparently were on call over there.

I think hanging loose until a problem is clearly evident is the best policy. But it failed me here. And finally, you got to pay the piper. I did and told them I wouldn't return. I didn't but if hardup and no convenient options, LS might be reasonable to consider.

Anyone got any news about Fuzhou? I go often but seems absolutely nothing other than the hotels themselves.I've been a few times and also not seen much sign of anything going on. I tend to be quite busy when I'm there so not much time for prowling. All I can offer is, if you anyway like massage, try different massage places. Many only offer a handjob but I've had a couple of girls offer to call a friend for FS (which I turned down as I like to have the situation build of its own accord. I never tell them I want FS, just a massage, then, if I hit it off with the girl, I upgrade the service). FS in 4 and 5 star hotels tends to be expensive, especially if they have quite a few international customers, but there are a lot of very good 3 star hotels and surprisingly acceptable 2 stars that have more reasonable rates. After about 45 mins, she turns up and was pissed off about the 600, as I was a foreigner. I said sorry I didn't know I wasn't a local. She wanted 1,000.

I said no and she stormed out. She was a 7 at best and wasn't worth a 1,000 let alone the 600.

Guy rings me back and says what did I do to her and I should give her taxi money at least.

I told him that she walked off.

End of story. In all a bit of fun but next time I'll think twice of We Chat late night fun.

Will look at next week with a mate and get the local knowledge.

Update from my experience last week.

I decided to tryout the best Best Western Fortune Hotel (Fuzhou Zuijia Xifang Caifu Jiudian) that was spoken highly of way back on page 2, which was a bit over four years ago. I had about two hours to kill before dinner so I decided to head down to the Guanlan Sauna on the third floor. If there were any pretenses before, there are none now. You simply step off the elevator, turn right, and walk a few paces to a receptionist who will direct you to the nearest available room.

Inside you find a very pleasant atmosphere with complete modern decorum. There's a large comfy bed, Sauna Room, shower, WC, and a tub. I grabbed a cold bottle of water from the mini-bar and sat down to watch CCTV explain how to craft dumplings. It wasn't long before a man brought in 1 girl to see if she was to my liking. She wore a sexy black dress, about 5'4" / see-cups. Face was cute enough, she scored extra points for having a soothing voice. Had a bit of meat on the bones, in a good way. Still very slender, but certainly not the stick figures I saw around town that needed weighted shoes to keep from blowing away. Probably in her mid-20's.

After I gave the OK, the gentlemen showed me the price: 750 rmb. I wasn't necessarily surprised at the jump from the previous reports from '0 10. I only thought to bring 800 with me, so I lucked out there. They wouldn't negotiate and I caved in pretty quick anyways.

She wanted to jump right in to the action, but I wanted to take a shower first and freshen up. Wish I could remember Chinese names better, because she was quite charming. Lots of laughter during our attempted communication while she scrubbed me up real nice.

After drying up, we moved to the bed and got started with the action. I'd seen a few JAV movies before, but I haven't in bed with an Asian cutey yet. The sound effects were so lifelike, I couldn't help but smile the entire time like a retard. I wish she hadn't given up on the BBJ so quickly, she had very good technique. This is when I got the impression I was part of a well rehearsed performance. A very entertaining one at that.

I'm a Chinese native that is from Fuzhou but grew up in America. I'm headed back to China early next year (will make a stop in Fuzhou first) and was wondering if it's pretty much dead here or if there's still a scene. I'm a total novice in terms of mongering (it's expensive in America and the quality is garbage, I would also risk GF / family / colleagues finding out. But now that I don't have to worry about relationships in the you. S, I'm free to do whatever I want.

The thing is, I'm in my mid 20's and it's rather easy for me to find and date 18-30 Chinese girls (I can communicate in Chinese and younger girls apparently like ABCs) BUT I prefer mature ladies 35 and above (always curious but never tried cougars). I've research some Chinese forums that seem to have reports on KTVs, spas, MPs, escorts, working girls, etc all over China from locals (It must be good if it's from locals) but unfortunately they only take payments with Alipay and my Chinese reading skills are not good enough (especially slang + code words). I introduced them to use Wechat and its 'near by' feature.

One of our guys got in to a broken English chit chat with a girl popped up in Wechat.

This guy never told us about it but went ahead with the chat and asked the girl to come over to the room for a fee of 400 Yuan.

A girl appeared in front of his room but she was not look the same as her profile in Wechat but this fellow taken her in.

After some foreplay and chitchat using the mobile translator girl had asked for money upfront and told my friend she need to give the money to her boss who is waiting at the hotel lobby.

Since my friend is already in the mood he never suspected and let the girl go with money without even starting the session.

Poor guy waiting for good long time and he even gone to the lobby to see whether the girl forgot the room number.

We got to know about all this drama next day morning at the breakfast and there is nothing we could possibly do as that Wechat account is already gone by that time.

So if you are planning to use Wechat in call services in China be really careful.

As per title, never use the nearby function in Fuzhou to look for girls, I got scammed once in the past and one of my friend too (we both were inexperienced back then), basically all the time I tried to contact a girl (but they were all agencies), they asked for a deposit, saying crap like taxi fare or to be sure I wasn't a fake, after a while you paid they will contact you saying the girl in question couldn't come for various kind of crappy excuses (the girl got in an accident, she got the wrong address and was now in the other side of the city, she had to rush home because her mom was hospitalized, the last one I made it up, haha) and ask for a new deposit for the taxi fare if the girl got the wrong address or if she got in an accident the new deposit was for them to send a new girl out because they already gave the money to the old girl, but assured that will be deduced from the payment once she got here. After that episode I never looked for a wechat and qq girl anymore, just went to saunas and massage parlors in Fuzhou, my favorite place was a sauna named fei cui ming zhu (don't know if it is still open), no fishbowl selection but every time I went the girls introduced to me by the mama-san were beautiful, the last time I went the mama-san assured me that I was the first customer ever serviced for a new girl she brought to me (99% not true but she was very young, probably not even 20 yo and inexperienced) full service was 480 yuan for 1 pop.
