On the weekend I tried the recently discovered massage place again.
Actually, I wanted to find another suitable place in the same area, but what looked like a massage place from the outside turned out, at a closer look, to be a KTV. And the other available massage places did not look by far as good as the SYI.
So I went back to the SYI. The same very friendly greeting by the mama-san. Actually, she immediately remembered me. She brought me then upstairs to the pa zao rooms.
There, she explained that the normal tariff was 300 for something between 60 and 90 minutes. But she also recommended me a very particular girl, utmost pretty and apparently with unique skills. However, the price would be also a bit higher: 800 Rmb. This was higher than what I was prepared to accept, and I counter-proposed 500. She agreed, and I asked then to see the girl. She disappeared, and I waited curiously.
After a while, a guy comes and introduced himself as the general manager (lao ban). He explains again that they have a very particular girl with all the particular skills, but he could not agree on the 500 Rmb. 800, he requested, was the absolute minimum. Then he said a few things that were too complicated for my simple Chinese to understand. Anyhow, so I asked to see the so wonderful girl now, before I decide.
Then he opens the door of the room and calls someone to come in. He offered .... mama-san!
I admit, I was not really prepared for this. She was actually quite pretty, but in her grey-grey uniform she looked very un-sexy and also a bit tired. Thinking about going to either Beijing, Xian or Chongqing for 1 week of mongering. I'm leaning towards Chongqing for the beautiful girls that everyone is talking about. After looking around yesterday in the Hongshen Lu, and the JiangNan Da Jie, without success for a new massage place, I decided to revert to a familiar location: the massage in the Zhongshan San Lu, next to the Hilton Hotel.

Then they brought me to a room, where I realized that there was no pa zao, but only a rudimentary shower over a Chinese toilet. I refused this room and asked for something better. Then, finally they brought me to a room where there was the famous / infamous bathtub. The room was not perfect, but acceptable.
Shortly later, they brought two girls - yes, I had ordered two pretty ones. They were o.k. No super models, but o.k., and I accepted.
Finally, we did not use the bath tub, though. Most of the time, in that place the tub is not used, but the girls provide a shower and wash you from top to bottom. Thanks to the Wonderer and Cheese Dog I was able to find this massage place with relative ease. As soon as you exit the doors of Hilton, turn right walk about 10 meters and make another right down the hill to the main street and make another right. Walk 50 meters to the pedestrian overpass, up the stairs. I put the 300 onto the desk and told him: you requested 300, here are the 300. That's it. They were all a bit puzzled and did not want to accept. But I took the moment of surprise and escaped. At this moment, I had also forgotten all my Chinese and could not understand anything anymore what they were telling me... I went out and immediately walked down the stairs. Of course, I did not look back, but they must all have been very, very surprised. At least I heard a loud laughter of my girl who had followed me to the cashier and was watching the whole scene.
Conclusions:

=> overall a bad experience, and the place is not recommendable at all!
Learning points:

Unfortunately, I have to report also a troublesome experience from the SYH, where I made good experience otherwise.

But in the given case, it will be his honor and obligation to really provide a very good chick next time for me. Otherwise, he will lose face. I believe this might be worth more than the 100 I "lost". Being a frequent customer with VIP treatment is certainly also of some good value.

There's only one SYH, I made a mistake reading their brochure, my chinese is so weak.
I went once with the #92 et 3 times with #85.
I also tried 2 other massage places in Nanping but I have to leave fast because when they try to avoid speaking clearly to you, they obviously just provide 'anmo'.

I made similar experiences with BBS in front of the Holiday Inn. Many girls are shy to go with a Westerner. On one side they are afraid of the (lack of) communication, and on the other hand they are afraid of the longer "xiao didi" of the foreigners. Apparently there are some horror stories going around, and then the are afraid of getting hurt by too rough guys.
That's why I always am very cautious and do it slowly, so they do not get the feeling it's all out of control.

Recently I went to the Zhong Tian hotel.
This hotel has a night club on the 32nd/33rd floor. On the 32nd floor there is a show with quite pretty dancers (some are actually real stunners).
On the 33rd floor there are KTV boxes.
The dancing girls also entertain the guests in the KTV boxes, and apparently (at least) some can be taken out. I recently met once one of the dancers in a totally different environment, and she told me about her job and the hotel.
When I went there, it was easy to find out what the business is about. The Jin Tai hotel in Nanping (next to Nan Ping Xi Lu) is still not recommendable. I tried it some time ago and made a bad experience (see my post # in this thread).
Today, I gave them another try. But to make the long story short: poor service for a high price. This is not compensated for the (sometimes) really nice girls. In my opinion, good look can never compensate for poor service.
The girl undressed, and first I realized that her tits were much, much smaller than I thought. It is rare that I had seen a bra so much stuffed. I must admit, however, they stuffed it with a nice shape, so I was mislead.
Then, we had a shower together, and this was o.k.

The Jin Tai hotel in Nanping (next to Nan Ping Xi Lu) is still not recommendable. I tried it some time ago and made a bad experience (see my post # in this thread).

Jackson should probably add this to the Abbreviations. This practice is normally found in saunas. I don't know any of the two hotels and the scene in them. However, Yuzhong district is the central district, and this makes it easy to go around almost everywhere. The High Tech Industry Development Zone is in Yubei and is a bit outside the center. On the other hand, also from here you are in the center within 15 to 20 minutes - if there is no particular traffic.

Not a local there so can only comment as an infrequent visitor. However, I too was very impressed with CQ. People in my visits there, the people have always been very friendly. The cost of living is unbelievably low. The women are damn near legendary... And while the food can get a bit monotonous, there are definitley other cuisines available to sample.
The only downside I can see is that while the climate is mild in the winter, I would steer clear in the summer. Took a trip there on July of '06... 47C everyday for the week I was there. I went to SYH on the advice of others from this forum. It was a bit more run down than I expected. I am about trying a few new places in Chongqing. One of the hotels that also offer FS massage is the King World Hotel, which is a 5* hotel in JiangBei, near the Golden Resources Hotel. You should not use the normal hotel entrance, but the entrance right of the main entrance, viewing towards the hotel. Summary
Good:
- Nice rooms, quite decent
- Decent girl with some knowledge of English
- FS in all positions
Negative:
- Too high price (despite the good service and decent location)
- The girl used some kind of disinfection spray, every time before she liked e.g. xiao didi, feet, hands, etc. This is a bit a turn off, even though I understand the concerns in general
- It cost me some effort to convince her not to put a second condom over the first one. But since she had used the first one for a CBJ, she wanted to change it anyhow. But this was still better than two on top, which quite likely lead to a broken condom.
Conclusion:
It was a good experience, but I am going to find other places that offer about the same at a cheaper price. So far, the Hoi Tak Hotel is still a good deal.

Chongqing is the most heavily populated city in China built on a set of mountains and hills. It is also located on the Yangtze river so you have a high altitude alongside a major body of water which makes for tremendous humidity. Its so humid that first timers will feel weak when they step outside of CQ. The humidity is the reason why CQ people must eat spicy food all the time. They say that eating spicy food helps expunge water from your body and bones and having water in your bones is bad for your health.
For the food the traditional meal is Chongqing hotpot, which is heating up all types of meat and veggies in a spicy stew hotpot. Delicious but I kept getting the runs when I ate it. I recommend you all try it but I have heard that people have gotten worms or other viral diseases from eating CQ hotpot so use your discretion and make sure the food is damn well cooked before you eat it.
Hong Ya Dong in YuZhong district is a very important tourism site in Chongqing. This is the location where the Chongqing Negotiations between Mao Zedong and Jiang Jieshi (Chiang Kai-Shek) took place, and the historic aspect of the place is nice. To get to the history, you will have to go through an exhibition center which is worth going to.
The Hong Ya Dong hotel is a beautiful ancient style hotel located right on the edge of the yellow river. It has its own shopping mall inside and many terrific restaurants around it. Although I dont recommend buying anything from the mall since everything there is egregiously expensive. The hotel itself is a great deal itself, I had a corporate rate of 280 a night, with western style breakfast included. The hotel itself is built inside of a mountain, the entrance is on the topmost floor with 11 floors going down.
Now onto some fun stuff.
There is a BBS on the 8th floor, which has around 5-8 girls on weeknights. They are 300 each, which is expensive since this is a tourism region but i got them down to 220. This is just a one time fuck only, no BJ. BJ would be an extra 100 but thats probably negotiable as well.

Hoi Tak Hotel
I have heard this place from Wonderer and others on this board. There is both a KTV and a sauna here. I did not try the KTV out, didnt seem to have too many girls working on a weeknight.

That was a good report, but I would like to offer a correction to the above comment.
There is a widespread misconception that Chongqing is the largest city in China, or even in the world. This is because the name "Chongqing" is used to refer to a large, province-like region, and is also used as the name of the main city in that region (kind of like "New York"). This is further confused by referring to the region as a "municipality," which makes it sound like a city, and is even more confused by the Chinese name for the region being, literally, "Chongqing City." This "municipality," whose population is around 30 million, contains many cities and towns, and lots of farmland, so, for all practical purposes, it looks more like a province. This confusion is what leads some Chinese to say it's the biggest city in the world. The actual city of Chongqing, according to some references, has only 4 million people, which is not the biggest even among Chinese cities. In my opinion, what would clear up this confusion is if the region were called "Chongqing Province" or "Chongqing Administrative Region," while calling the actual city "Chongqing City." (The various districts, mentioned in the original post, divide the actual city into sections, perhaps like the "boroughs" of New York City.)

This is an answer re your comments on hot pot. I had many, many hot pot dinners in Chongqing and never had any problem. Sure, the first time you might get the runs, since the stuff is so damn spicy. If you like, however, you can order also a less spicy version - at least in most locations.
You are right to recommend cooking the stuff, so it's really well done. Since a lot of the meat you put into the hotpot are intestines, the risk for worms etc. is higher. But I always keep the stuff long enough in the hot pot, so all the germs, viruses, and worms are certainly killed - if any.
Eating hot pot with a group of Chinese people (5 to 10 or so) is a really great experience that you should not miss, when in the capital of the hot pot. But make sure they bring you to a really local restaurant and not to one of the modern ones in one of the big hotels.
There is a whole chain of hot pot restaurants across Chongqing. It's called the "little swan" or "Cignet" coming from French. In Pinyin the name is "xiao tian e". Since they have a good reputation to lose, I believe these restaurants are relatively safe.

A few days ago, I wanted to explore a new place where you an enjoy "sauna" and massage. After some research on the Internet, I decided to give the Milky Way Hotel ( 重庆银河大酒店 ) a chance. I have not tried the JW Marriott Hotel 7th floor sauna yet. But I went there, and I think are a few important things to know.
1. The sauna is not in the main building, but in the office tower. Therefore, you cannot use the normal elevators in the hotel. You either enter through the main entrance and then pass on the left hand side of the restaurant on the ground floor. You walk through the corridor, actually towards the parking, until you reach another elevator. There, you go to the 7th floor. Alternatively, you may enter the building from the side entrance, through the door that leads to the KTV in the basement of the same building. This entrance is exactly opposite of the new Howard Johnson hotel.
2. When I went to the sauna, I was received very friendly by an English-speaking woman. However, I was "surprised" to learn about the price of 1200 Rmb for the full service. I had a nice, but firm negotiation with her, but she did not make any move to lower the price. Finally, I told her that the girls might be very nice, but I am not prepared to pay this price. She did not even move when I left. And it was on a Sunday, when there was certainly not a lot of business. I conclude that the high price is not negotiable.
3. There are other places around, which offer full service. Just to mention a few: the Milky Way hotel, very close to the Marriott. The girls there have a very nice attitude, and I had very good sex there, a couple of times. The sauna is on the 3rd floor, and the damage is 688 Rmb. Or the two or three saunas in the basement -2 of the Golden Resources hotel in Jiangbei (one is for 468 Rmb, another one for 700 Rmb respectively 1100 Rmb for two girls - they even have Japanese porn movies on the TV), in the shopping and entertainment area. Or the Hoi Tak Hotel in Nan Ping (580 Rmb). Or the SYH in Nan Ping, which I described here already (300 Rmb). Or the place just across of the Hilton hotel (use the overpass), for 400 Rmb for one or 680 for two girls, etc.
4. Or you just walk around the Marriott hotel. There are always a few boys and girls around, handing out cards. Some of the boys and girls speak pretty good English, and they call a girl within a few minutes. You chose whether or not you like her. They start normally at 300-500 Rmb, but 200 Rmb should be ok.
Chongqing is full of opportunities, we only have to keep our eyes open and try something new from time to time.
Most likely, I will once test the Marriott (after pay day...) and then report here.

Hate to discourage you. The Chinese character means boarding as in cheap place to bunker down more like a hostel setting. Do not believe you get any special ending with it.

Beijing ABC is right, they’re touts for cheap hotels (? Zhu4 su4), not WG’s. The rooms at these hotels are usually really small, pretty much a bed with about one meter of space around it, plus a TV. Most don’t have bathrooms in the room, they’re down the halls and shared. They probably won’t have showers in these bathrooms. These rooms go for about 15-30 yuan a night, and as you’d expect for these prices not the cleanest. They’re often used by college students and people with not much money as love hotels. They’re usually located near train stations and universities but can also be in residential areas. They’re also called lv3 dian4 (? ) or lv3 guan3 (? ).
Regarding the characters and signs with? (xing4 – sex), are they? (xing4 pin3)? This means sex products, such as condoms, vibrators, etc. These shops are very common.
RS, ? (xing4 jiao1) means sexual intercourse but according to my dictionary it’s like saying "to screw" in English. In other words not the phrase you’d say in mixed company. Can anyone confirm this?

I have been a few times now in two saunas of the Golden Resort Mall, which is located in Jiangbei, under the Golden Resources Hotel (jin yuan da jiu dian 金源大酒店 ). While the saunas look quite attractive, I have rather been disappointed.

So far, the series is an excellent one and is pretty fairly accurate as to describing what is happening in China and why. I'm looking forward to the balance of the episodes.
On a side note, if GM would bring in the Buick Riviera concept car to the US, I would take a good hard look at it.
As far as the city goes, it's one place that I haven't been to yet and perhaps in the future will have the opportunity to go and sample the merchandise.

Recently in CQ, where I stayed at the Chuangshiji Hotel. Although this is an out of the way, residential part of the city, there were a number of smallish 'xi yu' places very close to the hotel. All were signposted in Chinese only, though for some it was fairly obvious what they were. All offered 'pa zao', but some offered other massage services. However, not much massage, simply hj, bj or fs. The first two are called 'bao jian', or protect health, presumably because there is little chance of std transmission (bj covered). I tried a couple. In one fs available for as little as 200 RMB, while in the other a tip of 300 produced it. Stayed at the Hongyadong hotel, which was very nice--5 minutes walk to the big pedestrian area and 10 minutes to a light rail station. They had a massage place on the 6th floor I didn't try, and a "beauty parlor" on the 8th floor. I walked by it one night around 10:30. This was my first time to the HuangJia Hotel in Chongqing. Actually, one of the fellow members here on the board mentioned that he is going to stay in Chongqing and asked for good advice. So, I got aware of this hotel and did my research.
The hotel has a KTV and sauna on the same floor (the 8th floor). If you turn right after the elevator, you get into the KTV, if you turn left, you end up in the sauna. During my visit to Chongqing, I also tried the massage next to the Holiday Inn Hotel. I think it is in the same building where the Holiday Inn apparently runs some apartments. Being a 5-star hotel, but under Chinese management, I could expect a good place with good service. However, I cannot recommend it. The "sauna" is located on the 5th floor and is pretty standard procedure. I was informed that the service is 900 Rmb, so I expected something outstanding.
But the rooms are very small, with only a small shower, toilet, and a bed. They brought then a quite cute girl with a very cute face and wild hair. She was smiling, so I accepted. The first disappointment came when she undressed. She has almost no tits and what she has is not very firm. She also has a scar on the belly, which is from giving birth by cesarian cut. So, my only hope was then a good service.

The other area that has many BBS is Daping Lu, which is still part of Yuzhong district. I haven't been there for a while (and have never visited any BBS there). I'd been searching for the massage places near the Guanyin bus station, mentioned in the forum (way back) but without finding them. But I was desperate and took my chances with a place on Yanghe San Rd, which extends Yanghe West road to the north (mapof.it/29.58346,106.532235). Someone had tied to give the place a designed look, with a purple theme, and it looked a little cleaner than the competition.
At first the mama turned me away saying that no one was there but I'd only gone a few metres down the road when she called me back, with a girl in tow. My hotel was the Young Peoples Apartments (Shao Nian Gong Yu) next to the childrens hospital on Renmin 2 Lu. During one of my last visits to Chongqing, I went again to one of the many Spa's. I had visited this place already before, sometime in July 2009
Actually, I did not want to go there this time, but I wanted to try another hotel sauna. Therefore, I went to a Hotel in the new development zone in the northern part of the city. In this hotel on the 4th floor, they have a nice Spa. But they claimed they did not have FS - even though the setup with shower and bed really looked like they offered FS. There, you find another door, which will be opened by a man with a key card. Then only, they bring you to the massage room with adjacent WC and shower. This all is apparently in order to keep the matter very low profile and only for the knowledgeable.

The security seems to be rather strict, since they don't want to enter any more trouble. So, if you intend not to stay alone at night, you might consider one of the many other hotels. Having said all this does not mean that it is impossible at the Hilton, but it might not be as easy as before.

I visited the city a couple of days ago and can confirm:
1. The Hilton Hotel is back to normal operation, even with pretty good occupancy rate.
2. The pressure from the government on our preferred places (saunas, KTV, BBS, etc.) is still there. Most of them are out of business, at least temporarily. I don't dare to guess how long this might last. But since it appears to be part of a nation-wide campaign, I am afraid it's not of too short.
3. The good news 1: I visited a place during my visit, and it was fully operational, even with excellent service.
4. The good news 2: There is also a good chance to get some freelance. I had some very good experience with two of them.

According to my experience, the run-down places start with about 300 Rmb to 400 Rmb. But I would not necessarily recommend them. One more decent place is about 600 Rmb, while the better places are between 700 and 800. Hotel rooms might be cheap in Chongqing, but not the saunas.
I recently went to one, which was quite ok, but also costs about 800 Rmb for FS. Senior members with (credible) reports may PM me for the address.

I always ask for the price first and the manager quoted 1280, I did not even bother to counter, I just turned to walk and he quickly called me back; I could not get him under 800. Locker room and a set of jammies plus a couple of other guys going in and out. The room is old and not up to decent standards, attached bathroom has large tub and shower. CQ is a expensive city even more than Shanghai even 5 yr ago cheapest price I find is 700 rmb around Jiefangbei area, it is cheaper in Nancheng there are also bbs area where the local go to but is been closed down since 2008,
I think you still can get FS in sauna here for around 550 rmb.

peng zhimin was convicted in the southwestern city of chongqing of bribery, prostitution, intentional injury, assault and other charges relating to organised crime, xinhua news agency stated further.
the punishment is the latest handed out by the courts in a major crackdown on chongqing's seedy underworld that resulted in the execution last year of wen qiang, once the top judicial authority in the city of 30 million people.
officials at the court refused to comment on the case when contacted.
according to the report. 31 other defendants linked to peng's criminal gang were sentenced to terms ranging from several years to life in prison.

I'll be moving to work in CQ in a couple of months. I've enjoyed reading many posts here but I'm more a bar guy than KTV / Sauna man. I used to live in Beijing and Gaungzhou and enjoyed places like Maggies and the Cave (in BJ) and Kama (in Guangzhou). If you know what I mean. Just wondering if I could be recommended to some good bars that might have some potential for either paid action or freebies. Hot Chinese girls or even Ruskies, Mongols, Pinos, etc. Advice always appreciated. Wonderer.I forgot to add that two of my earlier favorite places have changed their "business model". One is now a KTV, rather than a sauna, and the other one still is a sauna / massage. But when I went there, I already found that something has changed. The typical smell was missing. So, I asked directly whether or not they have special services (it's better to ask in Chinese). They declined, but admitted that before these services were available. Another great place that disappeared in Chongqing.
The freebie scene seems still to be intact, though. But this takes time. Sometimes, you need to take her out three times until you can score. But as a foreigner, if you speak some Chinese, the chances are much better than without. There are just many more choices.

Went to many places around YangJiaPing and NanPing area, all of them are closed. This one KTV place that looked pretty shady quoted us $1500 for fast-food and we had to get a room there so we just left.
To me its easier picking up girls at the clubs since I speak CQ hua. Hopefully next time when you visit again there will be some action for you!

Daping was less and less action then. Most closed early and only bad-looking service girls remained in shops.

I first arrived in CQ in July 2009. A month or so after the crackdown. Since then, it seems progressively more boring P4P-wise. This is a China-wide trend, of course. I only know of a few basic BBS places and a more up-scale HJ in a sauna. Pathetic really, considering CQ's wild west past and the nearby opportunities in SE Asia. Even Shanghai. I have been on a business trip to Chongqing recently and wanted to try my "regular" massage place. However, when I arrived around 11 PM, they told me that FS is not available. It would only be available after midnight. I was wondering and thought that the place might be so busy, but it was a Sunday evening. Nevertheless, I took a walk for about one hour and returned. After some discussion forth and back between the different managers of the place, I was finally guided to the room.
I was then presented a line-up of two girls, however, with low quality. Since it was already late and I assumed that the place was too busy, I chose one of the two. Her service then, however, was rushed and quite mechanical. Actually not what I am used normally from this place. I asked her then whether the day has been very busy. And she replied that it has not been busy at all. I was a bit confused, but then got the point and asked her directly, whether they had a problem with the LE. Now, she was very surprised that I guessed correctly, but she also felt relaxed that she could talk with me about the issue. She confirmed that they had the visit from the LE and that almost all girls were absent. Therefore, they are also advised to finish the service as quickly as possible. I got the point.
Well, the good news is that she told me and another good news is that I was not caught. The bad news is, however, that they don't tell you upfront that there is an issue. They prefer to still make the money, even with inferior service. And another bad news is that this place might not survive for very long with the current offering of FS if now the LE is also "taking care" of them.
I will probably avoid the place during my next visits to Chongqing and only try after a couple of months again, in order to find out whether or not the situation has normalized. Note also that the place is mostly frequented by Chinese customers. They have very, very few foreigners, if at all.
I keep you posted about my findings and will also disclose more details to the senior members (exclusively) who earned their status with some valuable reports. Should I find any alternative place with similar services, of course, I also let you brothers know.

A few weeks ago, the former hardcore crime-fighting mayor of CQ (Party Secretary of CQ) f*cked up his political career royally. He has been impeached by the central party and stripped of all his powers. He will no longer have any influence on the mongering scene of CQ.
Some BBSs have already surfaced, and MMSs have again begun to hand out business cards on the streets. Sunny days lie ahead in CQ.
I have not been to Chongqing for a while. Accounding to reliable source, it is coming back.

I remember Chongqing nearly with tears in my eyes. I just needed to go in front of my hotel to pick up a pretty sweet young teen (I really mean pretty) for 200ST / 500LT, often with a GFE.
I hope this time will come back.
Upon a recent visit to the municipality in the west, I checked some more places that served me in the past years during some visits to Chongqing. However, the result of my research is frustrating. One place was totally closed, another one was under "renovation" for an indefinite time, and the next one was closed for the foreseeable future.
However, one of the previous places looked to be still in operation. But when I asked for the services, I was told that the place was under renovation, too. Nevertheless, they told me that the place will re-open within one week. That sounds good. At least some silver stripe at the horizon? I will check it out when I come back for another visit to the city that was once the center of great adventures.
I hope that the most recent political turmoil and the related changes also lead to an (again) more relaxed Chongqing, rather than to the promotion of the communist party with red songs.

But as an observer of China's political scene, my guess is that in the short term the place will be under more scrutiny than ever, at least until Bo Xilai and his wife are executed. You can be sure he's got a lot of dirt on a lot of operatives (he even wiretapped Hu Jintao, probably inadvertently, the dumfuck.) He, his wife and the police chief will be silenced and his Porsche-driving kid will seek asylum in the USA Watch the news.

I fully agree with your statements. If the central government let Chongqing go back to the "good old days" before Bo, then it will lose face. So, Chongqing will be under scrutiny.
However, we also all know that the massage places, BBS etc. Were not mostly frequented by the foreigners, but by locals. They even existed (only) because of the locals. Therefore, we may assume that at least half of the population (namely the male population) would wish the good old days of almost unlimited availability of sex to be back. Perhaps the women have a different view. At least those old ladies who are too old for the business. The younger ones might also wish these days back. At least, they could make good and fast money. First, I did not want to post this information. But perhaps it is still valid for the desperate monger in the deserted western city.
Some time ago, I had the chance to visit Chongqing again and to stay relatively close to the center. From the old days, I remembered one particular hotel that also offered the special services. I was there only once and ignored it for the rest of the time, since the service was no good.

Chongqing girls have really fair skin and are mostly really pretty. However, like most sichuanese, they are mostly smaller in size and definitely cannot compare to the northerners in terms of height. Good if you like the petite look, but if you want the supermodel type it will be hard to find.

First time poster so take it easy on me! Moved to Chongqing for work a while back and the forum inspired me to go out and give it a go. I fully agree with your statements. If the central government let Chongqing go back to the "good old days" before Bo, then it will lose face. So, Chongqing will be under scrutiny.
However, we also all know that the massage places, BBS etc. Were not mostly frequented by the foreigners, but by locals. They even existed (only) because of the locals. Therefore, we may assume that at least half of the population (namely the male population) would wish the good old days of almost unlimited availability of sex to be back. The part of CQ I am in is not commonly frequented by foreigners. I am ABC but as soon as I open my mouth, I give myself away.
