Yu Yao:

About halfway between Hangzhou and Ningbo, I decided to post here since it is a tad closer to Ningbo. Stayed at the Grand Palace Hotel, the only 5-star in town. Nice place, girl friendly. Turn left out of the hotel, and left at next road. Side streets around hotel offer a choice of 6-7 BBS. Mostly Zhejiang locals from Wenzhou area. After a complete market visit, came back to the first shop after the left turn. Picked a girl and asked the mamasan to send her up to the room after I went up first. Knock on the door 5 minutes later.

It always amazes me that girls will deny they can do BBBJ at first. I told her the mamasan said she would and she proceeded with excellent technique. Should have stuck with the BBBJ since the FS left a lot to be desired. Just sort of laid there. Started to perform a bit better when she realized it was going to take more than that to get me off. I also stayed at Grand Palace and went to the same BBS mentioned below and got a couple of gorgies for which I paid rmb200 each session.

They took me up the attic to a lousy room. But for that it was ok, I should have taken them to my room but just didn't know if the hotel would have allowed. I saw this forum a bit too late.

I used to stay at the New Century, but now I usually stay at the CITIC. I remember New Century being action central. The Barber shop is full of girls, the Sauna too, there is a karaoke bar in house full of girls and the lobby was full of girls running room to room. Compared to that CITIC was a nunnery. The barber shops I talked about are in the Downtown area

Stayed at 3 star Yajing Hotel. No BBS or SW in the area but Hotel has KTV and a large KTV across the street.

Wenzhou hotel also 3 star is in a nice pedestrian shopping district in the center of the city and looks like it has BBS potential in the area to the left and behind the hotel. Also I think the hotel has a disco/KTV on the premises. At around noon I saw what looked like SW in front of this hotel but I was with my gf.

Visited the local Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (for business). The area around this place definitely has lots of BBS with red lights on during the daytime. Ask your taxi driver. The streets in this old part of town are very narrow and interesting. I like exploring small parts of cities and back alleys for treasures.

I think that Wenzhouo should have its own forum and not be included in Ningbo or East China General. There are more than a dozen mentions of wenzhou (using search) and it is a major business center for leather goods and counterfeit products. Seems to me to have lots of foreigners at the airport and on the plane to and from Wenzhou.

Second time in Wenzhou, this time I stayed at the Dynasty hotel. I went with some Chinese friend to the Dynasty Entertainment center, just across the street from the Dynasty. We all went to the sauna, pretty nice, shower, hot bath, sauna, and we ended to a nice room upstairs for some moment of relaxation, I picked a nice, tall big breasted girl named Susan, pretty nice. She took me to a private room and started a massage with her body, excellent I was hard instantaneously, but she was very rushy and said I was too big, sure!! So this made me mad as I knew the price was not cheap. I said to her she could leave now and I will be complaining or she could stay and be nice. Strangely her attitude completely changed , she was not in a hurry any more and finally the session was ok ,
After few drinks in the bar I decided to have a walk and found a BBS opposite the hotel.

Ningbo is one of my favourite hunting places. Most Hotels will send you a girl to your room from the massage and fitness centre. Ask for a room massage. Negotiate with the girl when she gets there.

Ningbo Upate:

Stayed again at the Ningbo World. BBS in lobby is closed. The area around the hotel seems to be lean on BBS, but I did manage to find one and ordered room service to the hotel. Just reasonable service for 200RMB. I have not had much luck finding any abundance of shops in Ningbo.

Peter, can you provide some better directions where "Downtown"? Any other old Ningbo hands have any better luck?

Last time I was in Ningbo I stayed at the Nanyaun hotel where I got excellent service in their health club from Girl #2 who was a stunner and gave a great HJ. Nanyaun was far away from Downtown.

Downtown is where the main shopping area is. There is this amazing shopping mall with all the big international brands like Zegna, Boss & Burberry's. Attached to that is a nice fountain and walking area. On the opposite side of that square is a big church. The street where that big church is ion extends across the river. This goes by the CITIC hotel, if you continue beyond that CITIC hotel for to the next bigger cross street and that is BBS central, there are about 12 right next to each other. Hope those directions help. Otherwise get me a site where there is a map and I will tell you exact streets.

There is also an amazing legitimate Sauna/Massage place right in that main square. It is on the edge of the main fountain square. It is coed. You check in downstairs then the men go up to the 3rd floor and the women to the 4th. there there are a bunch of different whirlpools and other treatments. When you are finished there you go upstairs for the fancy chairs where you can get a manicure/pedicure/foot Massage and then into the room for a full body massage (I am sure HJ is possible). I spent about 4 hours just relaxing there and I think the total bill was 225 RMB, so about $30 US.

Far East day 5
Arrived in Cixi from Bangkok after a 3 ½ hours flight + 4 hours drive from Shanghai
Just had time for a quick diner and ordered a room massage from the Beauty Salon of the Hangzhou Bay Hotel.
FS was supplied for a reasonable price of 350 RMB by an 18 year old girl a bit chubby , like I like them, (massage was lousy).
Tomorrow evening I will explore some BBS, I saw on my way to the hotel.

Fantastic negotiating skills! Those BBS girls always quote me 600 RMB. I did manage to do one for 400 RMB, including the house fee once. I have not stayed there since they remodeled. How are the rooms now? I also stayed at the Cixi International where the BBS girls ask for even more. Most of the BBS around the Hangzhou Bay Hotel do not offer FS, however, there is one street with 7-10 shops about 5-10 minutes by taxi. Asking rate is 200 RMB FS. All taxi drivers know the place. If you can find out the street name, can you post it? I forgot to write it down last time. There is also an excellent sauna just up the road on the same side of the street. 88 RMB for two hours massage with a HJ ending.

I prefer to stay in Yu Yao at the Tai Ping Yang (Grand Palace Hotel) There are several very good BBS within walking distance. You may want to try it sometime depending on where your business is located in the area.

How long you staying in Cixi? I may be up that way end of this week.

Far East trip day 6
Unfortunately I arrived too late to my hotel for some BBS mongering.
I had to stick to the Beauty Salon of the Hotel.
Ordered a service for 11.00am, got serviced by a pretty nice and young girl (photo in the section), massage was better than last night and FS was pretty good, even if I think she faked one come, she did other all a pretty good and was very wet.
Damage was again 400 RMB (she wanted 800 to start with)
Tomorrow I am on my way to Ningbo and Wenzhou.

arrived in wenzhou, checked in a the dynasty hotel.
they have now free high speed internet rooms for 50 rmb more than the normal ones.
checked the street opposite the hotel where there are at leat 15 bbs.
i chose one with a pretty young girl, and she was offering only hj, went for it for 100 rmb, probably too much!.
in the late evening i checked another bbs and asked if one girl i liked if she wanted to go my room to the hotel opposite for st (difficult to explain when you do not speak chinese and they do not speak english) anyhow, she agreed for 300. (see photo in the section)
session was not bad but not passionnate, i suppose i got what i pay for.

I went tonight to the Sauna next the Dynasty Hotel, same good service, got FS for 700 + 200 for sauna by a gorgeous young girl unfortunateely with fake tits. My first fake tits in China!

It´s been a while since I haven´t been in old Ningbo. Used to be an excellent place for freebies if you could manage to speak some mandarin and you could stay for more than a couple of nights.

As for bbs, there used to be a whole strip in the road that goes from the bus station to the Asia Garden Hotel. I don´t know if it is still there or if there is anything good anymore but you could get good deals with nice (looking) girls that had an excellent "attitude".

I will probably have to go soon to Ningbo again and an update on the area will be very much apreciated.

Spent three more nights last week at the Grand Palace Hotel in YuYao. The BBS around the corner are still in business. First night, I picked one girl and asked the mamasan to send her up to my room. When she got there I layed down the bathroom useage rules and off she went to the shower. She came to the bed and we got started but, NO BBBJ. Absolutely refused. I was really pissed since I asked the mama specifically 3 times in the shop so I threw the girl out. She even had the nerve to ask me for the money. Second night, I took a walk and found SW galore nearby the Hemeidu Hotel. I can't remember the name of the road. Going to Ningbo once in a while, I hope that the little I know from there will help those of you who want to discover this quite interesting city.

There are actually, as everywhere, several different scenes.

You can find by the shore of the river a bunch of pubs with some action, but they are not that "gweilo"-friendly, therefore it is better to head, provided you are a westerner, to other places as follows.

Hotel Bars : the nicest one is probably the Windsor, at the Citic Hotel. Girls are usually nice, if not always very cute (yet a couple of stunners have worked there). They are usually students or have another job, are complete freebies and with a little work over several visits there, may bring you a good GFE. Once in a while you can meet a couple of pros there, but it is not that often.

Another bar is at the 3rd floor of Nanyuan (best hotel in town), where you have almost every night the two same pros (average 5.5). It is not for its bar that Nanyuan is a good spot, but we'll see this later...

Karaokes : Not my scene at all, but I have heard that the one in Citic and the huge one in front of Nanyuan are very good. Make sure to be invited there by a Chinese business acquaintance... or prepare to spend a lot!

Bars : The coolest one is definitely LBB. It is run by a nice canadian guy, and although you won't find any pro, you have quite often some freebies who will enjoy meeting (and extra) with westerners who have a nice attitude and very basic-chinese skills to break the ice. If they are here, they are willing to speak english anyway! LBB is located on Dahe Alley, which is a small street crossing Zhongshan (East) Lu.
It is a good early evening spot.

You can also look for Cheers or Nancy's Thai, but the quality of hostesses/waitresses can vary a lot (from poor to just ok) and all of them are freebies.

Later in the night, you can always head for GG's, in front of East Seaport (Dong Gan in chinese). You can find there from 2 to 6 girls. They have sometimes a very good and friendly attitude, and sometimes they don't, for no apparent reason. Most of them will follow you if you chat with them a little, and they may ask you for money or not. It all depends how much they do fancy you, or how close is their rent to pay! Helen is usually considered as a good pick, but she is often moody.

A new place has opened, named Jack's Place. Heard some good about it but not checked yet. I will let you know.

Discos : 348 on Tien Yi Square. The biggest in town. Full of freebies. You can also try Cowboy.

Massages : the 3rd floor at Nanyuan delivers a 2 hours oil massage including HJ for 280RMB + tip (usually 100 will do). Place is fine and massage skills are great. The 5th floor is famous for its Kiss Massage (don't count less than 1000RMB), but experience is world famous. It does include everything you fancy, and more... Being licked all over, from head to toe by a willing stunner (they ALL are) is usually considered to be an unforgettable experience.

All other nice hotels provide massage (read no-massage and lousy to ok FS) for an average of 600-800RMB. I guess you can find cheaper in less upscale hotels. Most should provide service anyway, and room service is almost always possible.

BBS : apart from the main strip detailed on an earlier post, you can find some almost everywhere. To be noticed, a couple of them right behind the entrance of the new wing in Nanyuan.

you may find direct flights from Beijing, otherwise make a connection in shanghai. Flight is 25mn from Shanghai to Ningbo, versus 4 hours minimum by train or car.

Grand Palace Hotel : Nanyuan Hotel is the one you want to go. Rate is usually around RMB1200/1300, but you can have it after negotiation for RMB900, and it is definitely worth it. You can also try Citic Hotel (at RMB600/800).

There are direct flights to Ningbo from Beijing on China Eastern. Otherwise trains Shanghai to Ningbo takes four hours of riding time, in addition to getting from airport to rail station and purchase of tickets. Ningbo would probably only add 15 minutes to the flight across Hangzhou Bay.

There is a good KTV in Yunhai Hotel, plus evening telephone calls and knocks on door. I paid 250 RBM for room per night.

Taxis are 8 rmb for flag drop, so you can go almost anywhere for less than $1.

TaiZhou (Zhejian Province)

Stayed at Time Business Hotel in JiaoJiang. Taizhou is actually several cities very closeby with it seems no real centre amongst them.

This hotel is 4 star and costs 330RMB/niht with breakfast. Street behind hotel is loaded with massage and BBS scene. You cannot miss it.

Talent is variable and ranges from far negatives to respectable.

One place had 4 girls - all rate about zero. Another massage had around 30 girls, some quite nice 7-8. However service was rushed and unexciting. I hate that!

I paid 100RMB for the whole experience which to me seems a little too much. The room was clean with clean sheets and air conditioning.

I imagine most of the places on that street are similar.

I am going there for a couple weeks and need a centrally located and reasonably priced place to stay. My business is on the east side of town so don't want to have a hotel on the west side.

Does anybody else have any recommendations?

I was in Ningbo for one night week, stayed at the CITIC(too expensive) but did treat myself to the "special service" massage at the sauna on the fifth floor of the Nanyuan hotel. Had catbath over whole body, including sucking on my kneecaps, BBBJ and FS in several positions. It was good but a little rushed from #22 and expensive at 1000rmb.

I've stayed at the Ningbo World, 4 star. It is right downtown. I think the rate is less than 400RMB. There is KFC and Pizza Hut within walking distance, but the mongering in the area is limited from my experience. The BBS in the hotel was shut last time I was there. There is a KTV in the hotel, but I have never tried it. If you get a chance to check out the strip of BBS near the bus station, please let me know. I will be in town next month.

The Yun Hai Hotel is rather near to the Ningbo train station in the southern part of the city. It is at 2 Changchun Lu, which turns into Ling Qiao Lu. This provides relatively ready boulevard-type access to both the Yuyao and Yongjiang River juncture and, to the Xingning Bridge across the Fenghua River to the east side. Breakfast dining area leaves something to be desired, though the food is all right (breakfast included, I think; it was for me). I have also stayed at the Xinzhou Hotel, 678 Zhongshan East Road. It is a four star hotel and is on the east side. Quite good, modern hotel. It was about $20 USD more than the three star Yun Hai.

If you ever walk into a hotel cold, do ask for a discounted rate. You might be lucky.

Was in Ningbo last week at the YunHai hotel near the NanYuan and found a great bath house/sauna.

Leaving YunHai entrance walk left down main street about two blocks then right in XingNing Lu across the bridge. As you reach the east sideof the bridge, look right about 200 yds down he street and you will see a large neon sign on side of building ( all Chinese) for the Ri Yue Xing Cheng bath house.

The elevator to third floor(button says 2).

Got shower, fruit and tea,, then went to massage room. Cute , small Sichuan girl ( #80) came in and asked if I wanted two girls. Price was 300 rmb for one, 600 for two. At that, i took two. Other one taller and with big tits from Shandong province.

Catbath all over by both, fire/ice BBBJ, DATY, FS in several positions with pretty good massage after.

A much better value than 1000rmb for one service at the Nan Yuan. I will go back.

Was in Ningbo for two nights this week. Stayed one night at the Tai Ping Yang (Grand Palace Hotel) in Yu Yao. Ordered room service from the BBS around the corner. Refused BBBJ again. Offered a 50RMB discount without, but I sent her on her way. Mamasan showed up a few minutes later with new candidate. A little chubby, but turned out to give fantastic BBBJCIM. FS offered for a second pop. Great value for 200RMB. Got her phone number for future direct contact. Definite repeat.

Stayed again at Ningbo World in Ningbo city. This hotel is getting pretty worn. I do not recommend it. Checked out the Mirage Hotel across the square. It is about US$10 more, but much larger and nicer rooms. Will stay there next visit. The BBS in Ningbo World moved to the 5th floor. Only 4-5 girls of average looks. Passed.

Last Thursday night went to sauna at Xian Dai hotel, on BaiZhang Lu, one block west of ZhongXing Lu. sauna entrance is just off lobby. Asked for "an mo" and was led to small room with is own bath and shower facilities. Xiao Zhang (#3) showed up, we showered together and followed with:

1. Oil and tit massage on back including bottoms of feet.
2. Cat bath with intense AR
3. BBBJ including fire/ice, oil, fizzy stuff etc. Was very good.
4. FS in several positions
5. Another shower

Wenzhou seems to have recently a crack down on BBS as most of the rotating signs of the BBS have disappeared but fortunateely the BBS are still in operation.
Tried a small one near the Dynasty hotel , I had a little time so I had just a quick HJ for 100

Ningbo is about 6 millions including surrond areas.

It's possible to find a lot of massage centers, most of them give you an HJ, but if you can speak a little chinese or, better, you have a chinese friend, you can get full service.

I travel a month at a time throughout China every few months and I decided it was time to put in my 2 cents.

That being said, after trying the sauna venue in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Tianjin, and a few other remote locales (Macau being the obvious exception), I think the Nan Yuan sauna on the 5th floor is the best I've been to by far.

There are two separate venues in the NanYuan but they can be tricky to find if you're tentaitve about exploring.

1. The first is the Massage Spa (honestly, I don;t remember what it's called.) It is on the third floor and is about 20 yards past the piano bar. If it makes it easier, it is exactly above the eating/lounge area where brreakfast is served. While sitting in that area, if you look up towards the very high ceilings, you'll see a walkway that leads right to the spa. Taking the elevator next to the dining area is easiest. This place offers a very good massage and hj for (90 min?) and you tip the girl 200. This was mentioned in a previous post.

2. The second and by far better venue is the Sauna on the 5th floor. This is the NanYuan "Sauna" that has been reviewed multiple times in this thread. To get there, you need to take the main elevators that are to the left side once you enter the front entrance of the hotel. Look for the cafe/restaurant that is in this direction and the elevators are right next to it. Take the elevators to the 5th floor and it opens up to the Sauna. The Sauna takes up the entire floor. Trust me, this place is a winner as noted in previous posts.

I have just arrived at the Nanyuan and though of trying the local delicacies and I thought I would give a quick recount of my experiences. I haven't been to the 5th Floor sauna yet, but I found out they charge 1500RMB for room delivery and about 1200 for eat in, almost double what I have become used to in the rest of China.

There is a 'new' hotel called the Mirage which is very central and just opposite the Cathedral, which charges 700 'in' and 800 'delivered', but they refused to let me check the goods ahead of purchase, which I thought odd so I passed by.

I got a bit lazy and asked the doormen at the NY to find me some chicken and they were very enthusuastic about it and came up with a very pretty girl who was also described as sweet which I now realise means 'no good in bed'. She was indeed 'sweet' but not in the tasty way. I would advise giving the door men a miss although they were very nice, this episode flushed 800RMB down the toilet.

I am getting the feel that Ningbo is expensive and spoiled relative to other cities in China, if any of you more experienced guys have any tips I would be obliged.

Hi,

It was my first visit to Hangzhou, from where I travelled towards Ningbo. My supplier was located in Cixi City, I am sure many of businessmen somehow arrive this city, where soon the bridge connecting to Shanghai will land in.

I stayed in this five star hotel, Shenshi Bridge Hotel, said to be the best around, cannot complain.

I arrived late, reached KTV, asked the guy and mamasan to fix me a lady, as I am not fond of musical interval spent. He understood what I wanted, and lead me through a series of mysterious stairs and corridors to the sauna, but directly to private rooms, behind the Spa.

I have not found anything on my own in Beilun. On your right side you will see several sauna/shower places (if you can read Chinese), and you enter any of them. After the second block (I believe) you can turn left and walk down the road for more options) They will take your shoes and exchange them with slippers. You leave your clothes and belongings in the locker room, and are guided to your room. I have tried but haven't found a way to get a line-up, and I always feel bad sending a girl away. Usually they are alright, sometimes great, and the service ranges from okay to decent (being able to choose would shift the scales in my favor). The girl will start with a shower, then massage, fire/ice, rimming, blowjob (bareback, depending on the place), and then to sex. I find the service great, and it's cheap, from 160 to 200 RMB. There are also some places near the river, by JinDi Shui An, next to the BMW store (essentially keep going left on the street I indicated, and you'll find the places).

Usually they are alright, sometimes great, and the service ranges from okay to decent (being able to choose would shift the scales in my favor). The girl will start with a shower, then massage, fire/ice, rimming, blowjob (bareback, depending on the place), and then to sex. I find the service great, and it's cheap, from 160 to 200 RMB. There are also some places near the river, by JinDi Shui An, next to the BMW store (essentially keep going left on the street I indicated, and you'll find the places).

The best place I've been to is also the cheapest. Once you turn left on the street I indicated, it's the first turn to the right, on a street that veers to the left. Yepp, Cai Hong Nan Lu is the road (and, yes, technically it is a canal and not a river). So follow that road for about three blocks after crossing the canal, and then take a right. The road veering to the right can't be missed (it had construction on the corner last I passed by), and after turning right again, the place is on the left after about 20 feet.

Numbers 13 and 20 are very accommodating.

Last two nights in relatively virgin territory for the forum.

First off, I stayed in Yuyao town of Ningbo last night at a great new 5 star hotel called The Plaza (damange 600 rmb). The hotel definitely has suana services, but I never tried them out. I was corraled on my way into the bar on the 2nd floor by a fillipina singer that was performing at the bar (typical of 5 star hotels in 2nd and 3rd tier China cities). If you take a right coming out of the hotel, there are a line of bars along the street next to the hotel. All of these (about 12 in all) are hostess style bars. There are no barfines, the girls infrequently go out with guys, but I have scored once out of the Cherry bar at the end of the street. Reasonably new additions to this street scene are two bbs' that I have been meaning to try out. Well, tonight I did.

The scene is pretty laid back. The bbs' are about midblock down the street and next to one another. My impression is that they catered to locals only when they first opened up, but they seemed friendly enough to me tonight for my first try. I stayed at the Sheraton/Portman on Friday night. I rarely stay in town these days as most of my business is in Beilun town.

I was not up for any serious mongering as I had a very early flight the next morning. I do, however, have a few observations and questions for Ningbo regulars.

First, the street scene in this area has improved dramatically in the past few years. It is quite a pleasant area to walk around in. I noticed a number of girls simply strolling the streets and smiled at a few of them which resulted in some interesting conversations with at least two offers to come to my room with me from rather attractive girls who I would guess to be semi-pros.

On the subject of semi-pros, there is a 24 hour restaurant directly across the street from the Portman section of the hotel complex (the old East Seaport hotel for long time Ningbo afficianados). I noticed a few girls sitting in the restaurant hanging out alone. I walked in to buy something to drink and received inviting smiles and an English "hello" from a couple, and I would guess that they would offer up some semi-pro action.

Also, there are a couple of bars in the area. One is an Irish pub called O"Reilly's which is owned by a Hong Kong guy that also owns the Shamrock in the downtown area. It looks pretty mainstream and I would guess that there is not much action there. Another, called Legends, and is on Leigong Xiang (a small bei lu across Chaihong from the Portman). Similarly, I was wondering if anyone has had any success with the bar girls at the GG.

Beilun Update:

Beilun Town is part of Ningbo. It is by the port.

As I mentioned below, the best hotel in Beilun Town is called the LeBanner.

The following is an update to the post below as somehow a sentence got eliminated when posting it and I have also had a few more days experience mongering here.

First off, to correct the post below. The LeBanner hotel is located on Mingzhou Road. If you come out of the hotel, you will be facing Mingzhou Road. Close to the hotel are two groups of hostess bars - one large and the other small. The large group is located on a road right beside the hotel. When comming out of the hotel, you make a left and another left at the first street. There are also two bbs's along this street in addition to about 8 or 9 hostess bars. As I mentioned below, the hostess bars rarely feature take-out unless you really hit it off with a girl. The two bbs's have about 5 girls apiece that are all around a 4-7. They are lowai friendly at the moment.

The second group of hostess bars are on Mingzhou Road. You exit the hotel and take a right. They are down about two blocks on the opposite side of the street from the hotel. One of the bars is Angie's and has some nice girls working there.

Now, for some new stuff....

Being back in town and sans employees once again, I have been exploring the local environs around the hotel. In addition to the two bbs' alongside the hotel, there are a number of other bbs's within a block of the hotel. The street paralell to Mingzhou Road running directly behind the hotel feature two blocks containing approximately 10 bbs shops. There is also a sauna right on the corner of Cai Hong Nan Lu and Si Yan Qi Jie, which has some yellow lights around the entrance. Service there is so-so. I'd still recommend taking a right on the third block from the bridge, and then another right, and go to the place that's immediately on your right on that slanting street. They've had some great girls there.

Sorry, but I do not have the street names. It is about a fifteen minute walk from Sheraton, south on Cai Hong Nan Lu. Once you cross the small canal, you will see a sort of large entertainment plaza/area on your left side, across a small metal bridge, complete with Baidu disco (a happening place these days, as far as Chinese discos go), KTV, restaurants and massage parlors. You can get a good happy ending massage for RMB 118 at the massage parlor/bathhouse next to the large seafood restaurant there. The other massage place is legit. There is a large sign saying "Timeshift" in Chinese.

To get to the saunas, you continue down cai hong nan lu for another two blocks. On the way you will pass several saunas. To get to the one that's never let me down, you will pass two saunas adjacent to one another, and then hit a hotel on the corner (Should be two blocks after Timeshift). There you turn right. There are saunas all along that street, and in the area in general. However, after having turned right off Cai hong nan lu, at the hotel, you take the next right. It's a small place about 10 yards from where you make the turn, on your right hand side. I realize that it's a lot to keep track of if you don't have any street names to refer to. However, another person posted a map on this thread a while ago, and the place he indicated in Jiangdong, (the southernmost point) is spot on.

There is also one opposite the bridge leading to Timeshift, on the right-hand corner, if you do not want to make the extra trip. It's got the characteristic archway over the door with lots of blinking lights.

Despite the typhoon coming over, we've been with a friend of mine in quest of the hidden sauna gems that Zhejiang Man praised here.

We've followed his directions, and after a little bit of searching we have found his warmest recommendation. Actually, you have to walk down Cai Hong Nan Lu from the Sheraton, pass the bridge over the canal, walk down around 2-300 meters and turn right on He Cheng Lu. On the right sidewalk, second building (the first is actually in construction), you will find this little bit hidden sauna. Doesn't look super fancy, but ok, let's give it a try...

The guy at the counter ask 200 kwai, which is a bit above the 168 that ZM mentioned, but not being in a bargaining mood and well, 200 is already a steal, we've decided with my friend to take 2 girls each.

We proceed to the showers. Hmmm.... let's say it is not on par with Sheraton premises... Quite dirty, smelly, you don't want to spend too much time in there, but for the price, I was not that surprised.

Hello all, thanks for the good Ningbo information.

I think I have found a gem of a place in Ningbo. The Smile and Natural Hotel. Its a bit out of the way from the city center. The local company set me up in this one, it was between this one and the Nanyuan. I took a chance with this one, though according to my RTFF the other was a sure thing.

I have to tell you the hotel itself was amazing! Only 9 months old when I went. Beautiful rooms, amazing service and attached to a multi storey entertainment complex with KTV, Sauna, all that good stuff. A Chinese travelling business mans' dream come true.

First afternoon there I went to the entertainemet complex. KTV was obviously dark. Went to the sauna. Alright the down side to this place is that in the sauna absolutely no english. Even the basic hand gesture and slow speak was not working. Anyway made my selection of massage from the menu. Led through a maze to a decent room.

Girl came in. Very young looking fresh face good girl, in a uniform. Had a Chinese traditional massage (RMB approc. 180). Tried to make conversation with me, and I with her but no go. I think her number was 514, or 541. Towards the end she tried to communicate a bit more. Then she got on the phone, and another girl walked in. Pretty good looking also young, wearing glasses. She spoke a bit of english. Said she was this other ones sister!

Now I'd like to take a side bar and say how hot that sounded, and I was thinking hey I am in heaven. But I didn't fully avail.

Anyway asks if I am enjoying my massage, her sister called her bacause she wanted to ask me if I wanted another massage. See from the menu I had selected a Chinese traditional massage for (1xx RMB) beneath it was an oil massage for (2xx RMB). Then she gestures that this massage will include all the areas. Says how they are both good girls and not bad girls, they don't do 'the sex' but other places in the hotel do 'do the sex' So, I say where are those other places, maybe I should go there! Says that it will be nice of me to get the other massage they will be very grateful and can use the money. She told me her number was (518 or 581. Sorry about the numbers, they are either or, if someone goes there they could confirm)

So, I agree to the other massage. It was great as well, then when I was flipped over she took her sweet time in making me cum.

All in all very good service and very good attitude and the girls were great to look at. I paid for two massages, but then again I was there for a while. No shower or sauna though. I saw them, but I didn't get to use them, nor offered. The language was a real barrier. I guess when I go next time I could simply go for the oil massage as a first option.

The day after the massage I called for room service. Called the number for the SPA in the evening, aroung 6 or 7 PM. The guy asked what kind of girl I would like, I said send you best. Room Service price was 600-700.

The area around the hotel seems a little run down, industrial, I have only been to Ningbo once and only then for two nights, without really straying from the hotel, next time there wouldn't mind meeting up with a monger and see more of Ningbo, seems like its a good city, couldn't find the BBS alley but I made the mistake of not crossing the bridge, I was there in August and somehow the way I read the directions it said to keep the water to the left when you make a right, or something like that, anyway not complaining; I will have a GPS tool next time I am in Ningbo, so maybe I'll try to make a track.

I have also included a scan of the hotel map. If anyone living in ningbo could make a report on the Spa and KTV there and maybe compare to other venues that would be good. Or for my benefit report on other pickup options ST or LT near the area. I had to resize the image, if needed I can place the contact details.

Does Smile and Natural compare with Nanyuan and Sheraton (Portman Plaza) for service, internet, food etc?

I only ask because I have found that hotels in China can differ a great deal in these areas and when I travel internet coverage is more important than KTV or BBS service (although these run a very close second).

Sounds like the in room at the S and and is excellent. The in room at the Sheraton can be had for around 1000 rmb (expensive) but the standard of service and choice is pretty reliable.

You won't believe me when i say this, becuase i didn't believe myself... but S&N is under 400 per night for a regular king bed room, they even have a pillow menu, soft bed, internet and breakfast included, plasma on the wall, CNN, etc. If you pay 100 more you can stay in the elite club with private lounge and snacks, etc. I feel like a tout for the hotel!

In my books, this is a five star establishment. It may not have the pedigree of the Sheraton. I haven't stayed there, but i went in to get my directions straight for the BBS alley, and the concierge girl there spoke fluent english with a british accent, and was hot. You won't get the english at S&N though they are all conversant enough in english. The room is well appointed, food is good, i can't say enough about it, possibly because i had such good GFE with room service, but trust me the rooms and the facilities are excellent.

If you have a local company rep, you can possibly have them check it out, and the location vis a vis where you need to be.

Massage place next to Orileys Irish Pub is completetely legit and does not provide a happy ending.

Had a massage there and convinced girl to my room at Sheraton for a very expensive and unsatisfatory finish to the job (after she had clocked off) so would not recommend.

Sheraton massage is on the expensive side bit does provide a good service. The rooms are bloody great with scents and all the fancy stuff you expect at a five star establishment. The massage table is very nice as well.

After your massage you can move on to the mens retreat (free of charge) where you can escape the world on a very comfortable recliner with its own table and personalised tv. If you have a significant other with you this is a godsend. You can order a drink at the same time!!!

There is no special massage on the menu but its relatively simple to offer a tip for your required happy ending. I personally like the Lomi Lomi massage with Jenny. She is a 7/10 and is very experienced having previously worked at the Nanyuan. You will need to tip 200rmb (expensive) but she will start much higher so make sure you at least get only slightly ripped off. She wont get undressed for you, but if you use your charm (and cunning) you will get to touch most of her during your happy ending.

I also enjoy the massage itself. The Lomi Lomi is 600rmb. Again in China this is expensive but the Sheraton surrounds and service make the price seem less of a rip off. I have always enjoyed the massage service provided and found it very thorough and professional. I think the staff at the Sheraton are on higher wages so it makes sense that the massage service itself is good.

The Sheraton Spa does not provide for full service but the Portman Plaza within the same building does. (phew!!)

The Portman Plaza ladies are on standby for the KTV below (never been to KTV). They are usually somewhere between 7 and 9 out of ten for looks and the mamasan knows the score and will look after you well. These ladies are available only for the in room service. You can get a sensual massage for around 600rmb (again very expensive) or the full service with as many pops as you like for for about 1000rmb. (1 hour max)

These prices are after negotiation only!! The full service rack rate is 1580rmb which is bloody ridiculous but I am assuming that some punters will pay this rate without knowing any better. Even the 1000rmb is daylight robbery compared with the prevailing market price but the service will make up for some of it. These girls are not only beautiful but they know there stuff and will aim to please.

Phone the LEVEL 3 spa number (its in the hotel guide) and describe what you want. They will always send 2 girls to your room to try for an upgrade. Choose between the 2 or if you like take the 2!! Or better still send them back and phone the papasan and ask him why he didnt send the really beautiful ones???

On my 4th trip to China for business, I resently visited Ningbo for the first time. This city of 2 million is prosperous and pleasant with tree lined streets and friendly residents. Stayed at the Ningbo Sunny Hotel, a reasonably priced three star property with KTV on premises. Note: Internet did work in room and business center had it only in Chinese, plus I was only Westerner in hotel.

Arrived late on a rainy (typhoon) night and decided to sample the hotel “an mo” service. Just rang the massage center, said ‘an mo” and there was a knock at the door in 5 minutes. The girl was dressed like a “hooker” so not much need to go thru the first 30 minutes of a bad back rub.

She wanted 500RMB, I countered at 300 (”san bai’) and we settled on 400. She was young and a little “thick” but quite experienced with BJ. We went thru several positions that seemed new to her and time did not seem to be a factor.

Latter during my stay, checked out the BBS scene on Xihe Road. Just turned left out the front of the hotel and walked 3 or 4 long blocks. Finally found two places on the left. ThanksYou have another option at the FOOT MASSAGE place right across the Starbucks on Cai Hong Bei Road, in front of the Portman/Sheraton.

Order the "Romantic european massage" (LOL! ) and you will most likely get (9 times out of 10) a proposal for a happy ending after an mediocre to sometimes good legit massage, for RMB 100 extra. That makes the whole package at RMB 100 (HJ) + 198 (or 298, not sure anymore, I havn't been there in a while) for the massage.

Girls will let you or not (depends on them. And on you) grope them, sometimes with even the top off. I've also had one meet me in my room after her shift (around 2am if I remember well) for an extra RMB 200. Cheap. But was not the best pick ever, and she kept calling for a while for repeats. But, if you are too lazy to go more than 50m out of the hotel and the 3rd floor services are too expensive for your purse, it is a possible alternative.

Another option is the store just close to ZePlace (a very nice Jazz Bar 5 minutes walk from the Portman Sheraton). Just walk up the street where the Foot Massage place is, perpendicular to Cai Hong Bai Road, and you will see it on the other side of the next big crossing road. So, on the left side of this Jazz Bar, you will see a store with a big Nike swoosh neon light. It is a convenient sex store as well. Did not try it yet, maybe another time, just to reward their (probably fortuitous) sense of humor. For the french speaking (slang) people, Nike meand Fuck. It is like if you had a store named "Screwing Place", where you could actually relieve your tensions: D!

Other experiences in China have been ok. 5 star hotel in room massage with happy ending for $488 RMB

If anyone can post a telphone number to ring in Ningbo to order hotel room service (girl delivery) it would be great. (I only speak English) I do a few Ningbo trips a month.

I can strongly recommend the sauna center at Mirage Hotel. The procedure was the usual; a dip in the pool, body scrub followed by a line-up of four ladies. Standards were quite good, I'd say all were in the 6-8 range.

You should be here sooner!! I am here now till the first. Was on business but cancelled so only one meeting left which means almost 4 days of free time. I was, as I should be, rtff'ing and wrote down some areas of interest. Now I am smack dab in the center of town in the Nigbo world hotel, some 4* place but too expencive for what is offered as a deluxe room. The bed is huge but rockhard and I have not checked inhouse pricing or offers for massage but will do this later. Before you go in search of something new try the Nanyuan Hotel.

All cabbies will take you there.

Once in the front entrance the lift is to your right hand side. Just get in and go to the spa or sauna levels which have a floor level listing on the hotel lift guide inside the lift.

The rooms are really nice and the girls are even nicer. They will give you a professional hand job for 100rmb (most will offer 2 hand jobs) or alternatively ask the papasan for full service.

The Nanyuan is cheaper than the Sheraton and is a Ningbo institution. You cannot say you have done business in Ningbo without having done the business at the Nanyuan Hotel.

Once you have had your pipes cleaned you can move around Ningbo with a clear head and take some time to find a hidden gem or two.

thanks for the advice that i will probably follow up as i have a bunch of freetime.

i also checked out the scene after 10pm and started walking out of the city center. after 10pm no wg outside the hotel in this area. did go clubbing in a club at only a 5 minute walk from my hotel (ningbo world hotel for those who are too lazy to read 2 posts back). i also called inhouse massage to ask what they offered. their answer: full body 138rmb, thai 268rmb, sex 700rmb all sesions are 60 minutes. i find this to be too expensive because a good massage can be had anywhere in town for half the money for twice the time and fs for 700 is just not what i'm looking for. might try it if i get real desperate though. club i went to was great but expensive. a beer will set you back 35rmb (imported and local) but at least 2 dance stations with beautifull barely dressed girls. changed the girls a lot so there were at least 8 - 10 dancing girls. even though it was a monday it was quite bussy with what seemed to be ningbo elite so no obvious wg here eiter. there are however girls that will come up to you to play dice and drink with you. no push to buy them drinks, no asking for favors just a relaxed time. pay every drink and no suprise bill. i'm going again tonight anyway although music is very loud but good.

Was in Ningbo last week and can report on some more action at the Howard Johnson Hotel See my other post #173 to compare experiences.

This time around I went for inroom FS. I walked to Sauna at 2 am, (after walking around the streets and seeing nothing). I Negotiated in room FS (usually 1300) for 1100. I went to a room, and was asked if i wanted a line up. Last time i didn't get this offered. I said I want young tall, and thin. She said wait for line up. A line up of only 3 girls. One 6, One 7.5, and One 8. I chose the 8. She was 21, tall thin and pretty, but did not seem impressed I choose her. I didnt think much of it at the time. The 7 was smiling and had a better personality, but I went for appearance and youth.

Hi all, I came over from shenzhen and on the plane were three europeans who were apparently also heading to the S&N, mongerer material maybe but I didn't check. If you are reading this you were with a Chinese guide on the 15:45 MU flight. Hotel seems to be doing a lot better business now, when I came the first time it was really new, now prices have gone up a bit.

I could have sworn I paid around 600-700 last time for a 9/10 room service. Its running 800 now, I called up, they sent a girl who was a 7-8 probably had good attitutde but with 'tippodou' (phonetic) she wanted 1300, came down to 1000, then 800, but that was the lowest; I wasn't very impressed and apprarently the girl I used last time was not here additionally 800 was just more than I was willing to pay for simple room service; so I sent her packing.

I frequently travel to Ningbo and as usual i checked into Nan Yuan Hotel. In the evening while going out for dinner, at the corner of the hotel one guy handed out some card to me. The card had pics of semi nude girls and a mobile number. I kept it in my pocket and moved on.

At around 11:00 in the night i called up at the number and a guy who could speak some english was on the other side. His first quote was RMB700 for one hour. Continue to walk in the same direction and you'll come across a small hotel on your left hand side with lot of neon nights and there are three BBS surrounding it. Two on your right hand side and one on your left hand side. I decided to continue to walk and found three more BBS on my right hand side.

We proceed to the showers. Hmmm.... let's say it is not on par with Sheraton premises... Quite dirty, smelly, you don't want to spend too much time in there, but for the price, I was not that surprised.

Once quickly showered, we proceed to a small room, this time ok regarding cleanliness. Bars on the ceiling let guess some interesting circus-like action, a bouncing ball with Minnie Mouse keeps me wondering how it can be used, and here i am waiting for a couple of minutes.

I don't like the BBS which are usually too dirty for my standards and seldom enjoyable IMHO, but this place is really worth a visit.

Girls' numbers were #22 and #23 and I really recommend them. Please be nice with them, they have great attitude and are really funny girls and if I don't think that many westerners visit/find this place so far, it would be great if it remained as welcoming for fellow foreign mongers as it was for us.

At around 11:00 in the night i called up at the number and a guy who could speak some english was on the other side. His first quote was RMB700 for one hour. I started talking with him in Chinese and asked for RMb300 for one hour. At the background i could hear some girls talking. I feel like a tout for the hotel sometimes, as thats the only one I stay at when I visit. Thier prices crept up since last year when they were new, but I believe you can still get a huge executive level room in this 5-star establishment for about 400RMB. If you search this thread you can find my post with the hotel card. Its a bit out of town, especially for street mongering, about a 20RMB cab ride, but they have a good sauna/spa on premises; as well as a huge nice looking KTV; never been to the KTV; though they do send over FS room service for 800-1200; at one time I was told they even had two russian chicks on tap, but don't know if they do now.

the portmann is now called the sheraton and they raised the prices 100rmb a night with the name change. never been to that ktv, but it looks nice.

there is a hotel in front of the portmann wich somehow belongs to it and is quite nice and much cheaper, I think it is seaport or something like that.

The Nanyuan used to be the nicest hotel in town, and they added some VIP suites to their massage area, and they are amazing. I went there with my business partner and I think it is the best place in town. You sit in the room,a nd they bring in their lineup of 8 women, and 3 of the I found great. I picked one. She was form chengdu, as so many of the girls I have picked over the years have been. She was slim, with nice breasts. She let me go down on her, which many chinese don't like. the BJ was good, the rimming was amazing and the sex was passionate. the ambiance of the room was better than what I know form the ningbo hotel or the venice spa which are the other places I usually go to.

if you have the chance ty tis place....I don't know the price as my partner paid, but I cannot imagine it is over 1200rmb

Having read some very positive posts about this place I gave it a try when visiting Ningbo. Decided to go with 2 girls: #57 from Jilin and #79 (I think) from Shandong. Shandong girl was volumptuous albeit surgically enhanced. Jilin girl was prettier more petite and had a bit of an attitude but I thought she was just spunky.

No lack of effort for service that's for sure. As they both gave it their all to suck and fuck me to orgasm. I had had a bit to drink that night so they had to work extra hard. Now I normally work and live in Shanghai so I can't help but compare. The girls at Nanyuan don't live up to the hype I've read before.

Looks: There were some good looking ones but not head and tails better than the sauna girls at say SH Hotel.

Selection: I didn't get a line up but they sent them in one at a time. Totally I could only choose from 5 girls which isn't much in the way of selection. Then again, maybe it was a busy night.

Service: My experience was good but then again I think this is all about the girl (s) and not the establishment. I just got lucky. After the And if anyone cares, I didn't think the services of the guys downstairs was as good as in Shanghai.

Cost: This is where the biggest difference is. Totally I paid 1840. Which is a lot. This is how it breaks down: 240 for the facilities. And each girl is 600-800 depending on what you want to pay. The more you pay the bigger the tip. People who have posted before have mentioned that they paid 800 but I don't think they knew you can pay 600. So at a minimum you can pay 840 if you want. I paid 800 per girl just because I thought it was good and if those are the set prices then so be it.

Overall, I wouldn't go back simply beceause of the price. You can get equal looking girls and service in other places.

I saw a few times mongers popping up here stating "I will be heading to Cixi soon, any details for me? " Ofcourse no-one responded and these fellows went to Cixi and never bothered to place a report here. Perhaps because they were unsuccesfull finding "any", but even such a report is helpfull, as it helps tells any new visitor to Cixi the "don'ts". But these fellows didn; t bother to share their knowledge.

This kept me off from posting my experiences for weeks. But perhaps there is a co-monger going to Cixi in the future that IS willing to share their experiences, so. Hence my first post.

Cixi geographical

Cixi is a conglomerate of various towns. Cixi "downtown" (small, only a few streets) and various towns where the factories and business are found. In between these small towns and cities lie open space of undevelopped land.

Cixi "downtown", where all the hotels are for this region, is relative small and has little to offer for the monger in my experience. All shops will close at 9 and if you venture out after 9 oçlock you will find a sight not many have ever seen in China: Empty streets.

Ofcourse every hotel has an inhouse Beautysalon that can be called for some in-room action, but these are rather expensive, as everywhere in China. 500 RMB per 50 minutes, 1000 RMB for 2 hours. Also, as usual, the experience with these girls is rather "mechanical".

In Cixi downtown I found 2 Sauna's:

- Green Ocean & Blue Sky Garden Bathing Place. Brightly lit, big, looks like the entrance of a big hotel, and open at least untill 5 am. Normal operating procedures as other Sauna's. After bathing you must go up to the 2nd floor and ask for a massage. Simply take the best massage which includes a handjob. You need to do nothing realy. Look what other guests do, follow their footsteps and let the staff do their thing. Cost: 350 RMB, my first visit I received 3 vouchers for 49 RMB for the following visits.

- Right accross the street of the previous Sauna there is also a Sauna, small opening, looks more like the entrance of a small hotel as can be found in Europe. The Sauna is on the first floor. This Sauna has private rooms with cathbath and a massage table. Again, this place is "legit", and also offers only the handjob that seems to be standard in Chinese massages.

Right next to the Green Ocean & Blue Sky Garden Bathing Place there's a big KTV (closes before midnight) and right next to that some sort of disco/bar (again, closes before midnight) No action found by me during my visit.

Now. What about the BBS? Wherever I went in China, I was always able to find at least one BBS. But not in Cixi. After 9 pm Cixi is. Asleep.

One thing to remember of BBS's is, they will be where the customers are. The towns surrounding Cixi are literarry filled with BBS's. Most directly opposate of the factories. So workers can, as soon as they leave work, step right in directly. If you drive at evening from Shanghai to Cixi, after leaving the highway and going via the G329 you will pass through the towns of YuYao and Zhouxiang. All the way driving that part, 30 minutes long, you will see BBS's left and right of the road, all lit like it's christmas. For fun I started counting, after 15 minutes I stopped at 115. And I saw many many many more. Note: During the day they will all be closed and blinded with shutters, so during the day. These towns look dead.

I was not in the opportunity, as this was my first visit to Cixi (and encourered so many "don'ts"), but it is IMO well worth to jump into a taxi and head to YuYao, Zhouxiang or even Kandun or Andun to check out the BBS there. Most likelly you will also be able to find WG's in that same areas. Taxi cost should not be higher then 20 RMB for a one way fare.

Yongkang is a three hour drive from Ningbo and is a factory town of approx 500,000 people. Unfortunately I always have chinese customer pick me up so I cannot offer directions, but stay at the Yongkang Hotel. Not sure if it has it's own website, but google the hotel and it will come up on a few travel sites.

it really is the only place in town that foreigners stay at. Rooms are clean but it's pretty old school China in the countryside. I was there last year and the bell boy asked me if I wanted a young girl as I arrived. A good sign.

Anyway, right behind the hotel in the car park area is a large Spa/massage/KTV building. Go through the entrance and turn right to a greeting room and ask for a special massage or happy massage. They will take you to a great room where the girls will say hello.

They were all late teens to early 20's and I thought at least 7/10's. I think I paid 800rmb for 2 hrs of pleasure. Soapy bath with ass rimming and BBBJ, followed by covered sex in many positions then afterwards, a really nice massage. Only problem in this town is the lack of English spoken, so it's
more Chinglish.

Outside of business, there is no reason to visit Yongkang.

Negotiating with hotel BBS girls is tough. The key is to pretend that you only want the massage and do not plan to give them a tip for only massage. For other services, you should give the impression that you can take it or leave it. I also used to stay often at the Ningbo World Hotel. I could manage 600 RMB FS most of the time, but they always started at least 1,000 RMB. Once I was there on Christmas and the mamasan offered me 300 RMB FS as a gift that day.

I think the problem is lazy BSD guests staying at these hotels and paying whatever they ask for the convenience sake of inhouse service. I usually try to find some local BBS nearby the hotels I stay at. You can bring them back to your room for 150-200 RMB, most places in Ningbo.

This was my first time in a BBS, and my what an experience.

First, I'll post directions followed up by the report.

To get there (if it is still around by the time you try to find it), it is on Zhongxing Lu. The closest intersecting road is Yaoga Lu which runs south until it ends on Zhongxing Lu. From the divide in the road, you want to walk east appoximately 100. 150 meters. It is on the south side of the road, with the small rotating barber sign, but lit up with pink lights.

Being my first time, I was surprised to see the girls playing Mahjong from outside. Not too sure if this is normal, especially since I've heard of girls usually waving people in. I guess maybe they weren't in dire need of business.

So I walk in and they ask me if I wanted service. Unfortunately, my Mandarin isn't the best so it took me a minute or two to understand what they were saying. I mean sure, their clothes and the setup was obvious enough, but cut me some slack as this was my first time.

I was approached by a decent 7. Ok face, not too thick, with a nice full rack. Once I just started saying "dui4", she led me upstairs two flights to a small room with a bed. Next to the bed was a nightstand with a filthy ashtray. Next to that was a small cloth stool which I laid my coat on (as it seemed clean enough).

She led me to the room, and I asked her about pricing "duo2 shao3 qian2? " She replied two; I asked "liang2 bai3 ma? " She said yes. I said ok and she proceeded downstairs. After a few minutes she returned and showed me the ways of a BBS.

She pushed me onto the bed and pulled my pants down and threw on the Beret. She then lay down and we proceeded to mish. We went through mish, cowgirl, doggie, and mish again. Again, being my first time I wasn't feeling too adventurous in seeing what I could get away with.

Here's where I'm not sure I acted properly; she kept complaining I was too big (which I feel was probably BS), said her stomach hurt, and asked for another hundred RMB halfway through. What with the spur of the moment, I was unable to decline (I will next time though! I have to learn to stick with what's agreed on up front). Price: 300 RMB FS (Should have been 200 RMB, but I was weak)
Place: 3 - Small, cramped, and a little dirty, but hey, isn't that what BBS's are known for?
Girls: 7 - Although there were five in the waiting room, I was approached by one who just led me straight upstairs. Being my first time, I just went with the flow. However, she was still good by my standards so I didn't mind. The other girls ranged from 4 to 8.
Service: 5 - I've had better. The last hotel's health club really set the bar for me. This girl rushed me and asked for more money AFTER the initial deal up front. However, you get what you pay for right? At least she looked good.

It was a very interesting experience for me as it was my first time at a BBS, but now looking back I can apply what I've read from the older reports on this board to prevent me from making such simple mistakes.

1. Don't back down on the price after it's agreed on
2. Don't let them pick the girl for me
3. Learn a few more key terms and phrases for a smoother transition

Just got back from Ningbo with a wealth of information

FYI I speak little to no Mandarin, and basic Cantonese, which is of no use in Ningbo.

I was entertained most of the time by our local partner. First he dragged me into the KOK with his friends. They have really lovely ladies, but there is zero action going on! It is almost impossible to take them out of the OK. My friend told me you have to come 3-4 times in a row and they would definitely go to the hotel with you.

So off we went to the Sheraton Hotel Sauna. It was a separate entrance to the hotel, so you can go in incognito. We left at 1. 30 am and it was still going strong

Anyway that was great stuff! Walk in, have a shower, get a towel and ask for massage. They have rooms in the back. They will promptly come with a girl to the room and wow mine was a 9+ with a 9 body as well! Service was professional, but very good! Only problem is they all complain I am too big, so they refuse to go through all positions. Anyway service was excellent.

Total damage sauna and girl was 800 RMB.

My friend told me a rule in China is if you ask the girls to come to your room the price will be double. Which is my general experience.

So next day I tried the Sauna in my hotel which was in the end NEW CENTURY HOTEL. Not the Ningbo World Hotel (sorry mixed them up in my last report)

Went to the Sauna. Same deal go in, put your cloth into a locker, shower and head for the massage. A mamasan will come with some girls.

First day I got a 7 with good service. Next day I only managed to pick a 6 damn dark in there to make a proper choice. Service was good and enthusiastic.

Total damage was. Which I assume was a bit of a tourist price 900 RMB. But due to a complete communication breakdown at the counter, this is what I settled for. This included 270 for the Sauna and 630 for the girl.

I went both times after midnight they seem to be open until late.

PS. I only stayed once at the Ningbo World Hotel one night and did not look for action.

Seems to be a lot of foreigners in Ningbo, but not a lot of action on this board. Anyone been to Ningbo lately? I'll be there in a few weeks for a 2 week visit and am looking for a little fun. We all know how China changes quickly so I'm afraid the recommendations here might be out-of-date.

Thanks fellas!I have been staying in Ningbo for some time now, and can provide some updated information.

Here as in most Chinese cities there are a lot of opportunities for mongering. Most any 3-4 star hotels will offer a spa or massage services including FS. Really it’s all about price and what you are willing to pay.

You can have excellent services at 5 star hotels as Nanyuan, Howard Johnson and Portman, but as always the services provided will depend on the girl. You can be lucky or you can get a lazy girl who only wants to finish you of as quickly as possible. You will have to pay between RMB 750 – 950 on such places.

Then you have all the back street BBS and Saunas, where the service can be ranged from very good to very bad. Up selling is common and you should be careful and fix the price in advance. Massage and oil massage with happy ending varies from RMB 100 – 150. There are a lot of Saunas offering FS, and you will usually have to pay RMB 200 – 400.

At the expensive end I can recommend the Portman Plaza who is usually providing very good services, located on 4th storey at the Spa center. Damage for FS is RMB 768.

Sauna recommended is the “Hidden Sauna” on Wen Jing Jie where you can find directions in this thread. Damage for FS is RMB 200.

Oil massage with HE on the south side street (Portman Boulevard) of Sheraton and a half block passed the Caichong Dong Lu on the right hand side of the street. Damage is RMB 108.

Hi,

Will be visiting Ningbo for the 1st time. Try to find some infor but was quite back-dated. Will be likely staying in nan yuan.

From some history, it is quite a recommended place to visit (sauna). I would to hit the plc for a hot pool then some workout. However, can summary up on the latest charges. RTF was ard 1200yuan? For real? ! I wouldn't wan to pay tat kind of $, I would rather hit back to shanghai regular 999.

I am not sure nanyuan sauna is offer such pricing. Please give me some update infor on Ningbo spots with damage rates.

Will be staying at the Sofitel in YinZhou district, and this will be my first trip to Ningbo. I googled the Hotel and it's the closest to my work-place and is supposedly adjacent to the Wanda Shopping complex. Anyone knows about the area or the Hotel? Is it girl-friendly?

I recently visited Ningbo. In the evening, I went to the Nanyuan hotel (I stayed at another hotel). After some walking around, I found the sauna on the 5th floor.

After a shower, some (long!) relaxing, finally I was brought to the massage room. However, there was no line-up, and they just brought one girl. She was ok, but no more. Later on, I found out that she is 25 years old and from Harbin. She did a good service, even though I had to remind her after the deed that the time was not over yet and I still liked a massage.

The end, however, was the big (negative) surprise. They asked for 1040 Rmb for the "special service". From the forum here, I expected it to be much lower. Well, I did not argue. My mistake was that I did not ask at the beginning. I thought, it is the normal tariff.

But neither the environment / infrastructure, nor the girl or the (missing) line-up did justify the price in any way. I would consider 600 Rmb as "adequate".

Perhaps it was on a bad day. In any case, the place was quite busy even at 11 PM.

I would not recommend it under such circumstances, and I will try to find another place in the future.

To Lucky88: You must have been really lucky with the Sheraton hotel sauna. I also tried to find the entrance to that sauna, but without success. Perhaps it does not exist anymore? Can you describe where to find the entrance? Thanks!

The Sheraton in Ningbo is 4th floor massage only. Walk over to the Portman Plaza (connected) and go to the 3rd floor.$868 RMB.---go with the flow about the male helpers---shower and 1 1/2 hours. After---$100 RMB tip for the male helpers---girl was Nice. No line up

Thougt I would chime in with a quick report. Was in Ningo on business staying at Nanyauan. Tried the Sauna 1 night.

The Sauna system is now in the back fo the hotel near the pool area. Floor 5 is no longer. Went to the 3rd floor of new facility and waited for mamasan. If you go there ask for mama who speaks English. I had to wait 5 minutes for her to show up.

I say sex massage and off we went to 4th floor. This is VIP level I think. Anyway I didn't fight it and heading to a sweet room with huge flat screen TV. Really nice setup.

Lineup of 2 girls. Both pretty hot. Chose a 25 year old Chineese girl. No Englsh at all which was not surprising.

Anyway down to business. I would describe her at least as non-gfe. Sorta like the non-gfe asian massage experience in USA where they keep their distance as far as lips and such away from you.

Othere than the non-gfe type vibe she as excellent at BBBJ and main event. I finished my first pop in about 30 seconds. Pitiful. Guess that 3 weeks of no sex build up coming from USA wasn't a good idea. I did acutally force a second pop out at end of session which made the session more cost effective. She did a real good tongue bath and not bad salad tossing.

Total Damage. 1100 RMB. Expensive but not bad overall.

I will be in Ningbo in the next couple of weeks amd I would like to know which Nanyuan Hotel mentioned in these reports. There are 3 or 4 Nanyuan Hotels in different areas of the city.

If some one can also recommend saunas not located inside hotels, that would be great too.
