Gladiator, i guess i got lucky. Not once did she ask me for money. She did however once, ask if i would get her a computer so we could IM each other, even though she had one at her office, as she was a travel agent. She asked in a kind of joking way, i gave her an immediate and resounding "NOT A CHANCE" and that was the end of that.
Apart from this one incident, she never asked me for anything. i bought her a few articles of clothing, but that is all. My trips to LOS have mostly involved working, so there was never time for day time flings with MP of Freelance.
Didn't need it really, whatever i asked for in bed, i got, she swallows, takes it up the a$$, and always came back asking for more. Even cooked me dinner once.
But as I mentionned she started getting clingy, even suggested she come visit me for a while, so regretfully, i put an end to it.
Am looking forward to hunting the sois of Suk. Have read all sorts of wonderful info, (thanks guys), and hopefully my trip next week will prove to be fruitful. Will then go off to Jakarta for a week, where i hope to hook up with some fun too. It helps that I speak Indo !!! The girls in Indonesia often like to bring a girlfriend along with them to add a bit of spice, and will often offer 2 for 1 especially if you want LT, as the promise of a clean bed and a hot shower is very attractive to them.
I understand that taking 2 girls back to hotel in LOS is not as easy. Any comments on that???

Stayed at Bayoke Sky twice. Never had a problem. However, I have noticed the bellman calling the front desk whenever I bring a guest. I have read in this board about others having problems. Once stayed at their dump Bayoke Suites for one night and they did charge 500THB. Nice rooms if you can get a double bed. Only problem is far from action. Less than 80THB taxi ride from Nana.
For a first time visitor trying to find lodging, I have got the
name of the Royal Asia Lodge, Nana Hotel, Majestic Suites,Stable Lodge and Dynasty Inn. Would anyone recommend (or comdemn) any of these or have any other recommendations?

I agree with juicespike. In addition to the reasons he's given, the rooms have safes to stash away your valuables, and the hotel is very close to Nana Entertainment Plaza and is a quick walk to the Nana Skytrain station. I stayed there last month (my first visit to LOS), and I'll be staying there again in two weeks. The only bad part is that taxis can't drop you off in front of the hotel, as traffic has to keep moving. They'll probably drop you off across Soi 4 at the 7-11......a 45 second walk to the front of the hotel's entrance.

Hey, Meaty. I think they were talking about the places on Ratchadaphisek Rd. (such as Poseidon, Emmanuelle, Ceasers, etc). I haven't gone in, but I have passed by. These places are HUGE, and they resemble Discos from the outside. Fairly close to Soi Suk, but I wouldn't pay 300baht for a taxi ride there. Closer to 150-200baht MAX!

Also, 300baht sounds like the taxi driver is working on commission. Ask the taxi to take you to the Grand Hotel. You can walk to most of these places. It's not far.

The huge massage complexes, Phuquer is correct. Ask the cab to take you to the Grand Hotel. Poseidon is across the street. I have been to a few of these places. I find that the Complexes on the side street are better. I like the Mirage, it is half down the street (about 5 to 6 blocks from Grand Hotel) on the right side as you walk from the Grand Hotel. It is 1 block off the Main Road. You can see the big sign. I went to the Poseidon once, did not like the service there. These place are better than the massage places around Sukhumvit Area. It cost a little more about 2800 Baht for the Standard Girl with a large theme room, and Super Star (Movie Stars) will run 8000 Baht, but you have to make reservations days in advance for the super stars. If you are into Soapy Massages, it is a must see area.
Has any one really been to one of these places, Poseidon, Emmanuelle, and Ceasers.
I stayed at the Merchant Courts Hotel across from those places but never went in there. It looks too huge and expensive. I always go to traditional massage parlors right infront of those places for real massage (take home sometimes) only. These places give real good massage and price is so cheap, 260 Baht for 2 hours.
Any way, please give me more details on those places such as, offer service, price range, and take out service.

Any info on the many neon lights past don muang, if you continue along on the road (not the express way the normal one below) and drive for about another 10 minutes or so you pass a very well lit up soi on the right with what looks like many 'fun bars' and on the left there are some karaoke and massage places all in thai. Anyone been?
Meaty you must be talking about the area around Zeer in Rangsit... the stretch just north of the airport. I can enlighten you because I live in the area. My advice is, don't bother. There are some small Thai-style massage joints that are fine for the basics but nothing special is going on. Same as dozens downtown... but cater to a local crowd. There are snooker joints, and snooker is pretty much the only thing happening although some show a lot of lights and might catch your attention.
There are karaoke bars (like there are almost everywhere) and "nightclubs" where the deal is to watch the ladies parade up to the stage and sing (I use the word very loosely here), and if you do enough research it is possible to find an attractive female and get laid... but it's pretty hard work to be honest. You need to speak reasonably fluent Thai to navigate these places... it's very rare to find even a "manager" or mamasan that can communicate in English and without that it's hard to figure out what the drill is. The best "lookers" are typically under the patronage of some fat greasy old fart and more than once I have had ugly encounters when I messed with someone else's "turf" without knowing it.... And if you do get a lady out the door, most are accustomed to contracts that involve a nearby short-time motel, which is yet another drill.
I wouldn't discourage anyone from dropping in to get a blast of local culture.... mostly they are welcoming if you want a few beers, (many have food too - rarely very good), but be forewarned that they are definitely not user friendly like the soapies and the odds of finding a tasty female are thin. The best bet is called "Chamois", just past Carrefour on the left as you drive north thru Rangsit.
Final note: some are frequented by a pretty rough clientele so stay alert.... if you pick up vibes you don't like, pay with a smile and retreat.
I heard about some lady houses out side bkk city, where a lady has several women brought from rural areas to train them for bkk style and they are relatively innocent and fresh when compared to running items that are actually available in urben areas. Some old taxi drivers have good info on this. Looks like a bit of adventure type, any buddy can gather more info for ya fellas!!?

ran into some really cute Russians (or perhaps they were Czech) at Au Bon Pain today at Discovery Center who were more than likely working girls (not to many 18-22 year old slavic language speaking expat chics who opt for Hello Kitty and Prada).

I used to stay at the Merchant Courts hotel, opposite of the Emanuell, next to Ceasers compex. Opposite of this hotel, right infront of Emanuelle, there are a few traditional massage places that only do real massage. Take your girlfriend there and both of you will have an excelent massage session. The price for massage is 260 Baht for 2 hours. AND YES, they have private room, only one small window to look in , but no body ever look in, except your friend, and the light can be dimmed or turned off.
About your quick hand job, I did get it so many times in there. Most of times when I want to, I was able to get the girl out for the remaining evening, and we left right after for disco, dinner, and FS.
Best way to do is to get the young good looking ones among the fishbow. Go in there, after an hour or so, make some conversation if you can, then pull her down to watch TV with you. Go easy ok, because these girls are not real hookers. Then, you can slowly caress her, fondle her a bit. If she lied down next to you, then any thing you want after that is easy, besides FS.

Good post Wildman, on the "traditional plus with girlfriend" question.... a lot of guys probably entertain this scenario and you're right about the humor.
One solution you didn't mention is "inhouse" services offered by most of the hotels. These are never the least expensive, but are usually staffed by solid performers who can knock out a standard Thai massage and are also on the lookout for extra revenue opportunities... almost all will put you out of your misery with discreet hand action, and sometimes more (bit of luck comes into play here). The rooms are typically "private" so you could ensconce the GF down the hall and give it a shot... nothing ventured nothing gained right? And the ladies are dressed discreetly so the GF is less likely to get suspicious... try a place like the Ambassador, where they dress like nurses in white uniforms.
PS: no "hidden gems" to share Meaty... would if I had any. I have invested a small fortune in research because I like the hunt as much as the kill.... but the "gem" is a moving target, not a place. And you never know when/where fortune is going to smile. Speaking of which... "histech's" excellent history includes a photo taken on a golf course... Where are the caddies???

Thermae closes at 2 am as do all the bars now but some of the discos will remain open after that. Try the Grace and Nana Hotels.

Had to make an emergency trip to India last week. Of course, had to stop over in the LOS. Had a 20 hr layover on the way in and 2 nights on the way back.
As usual my fav hotel is the Ruamchitt Plaza. It will be till I have some negative experience. Plus I get my clothes tailored at the Shop downstairs at a very reasonable price and excellent fit.
Going out, arrived in BKK at 11:30. got to the hotel at 12;45. I took the taxi from the arrival level with a meter. Cost 220 baht to Sukumviht. Checked in and went downstairs to the Thermae. did not see my fav girl, Oyi. Picked up another one at about 1:15 am. Yes, the Thermae closes at 2 am.
I was glad that I picked up the new one. She gave one of the best BBBJ yet. God, it feels so good to have a wet & cool tounge on your dick as she massages with it.

Thermae is in the basement of Ruamchitt Plaza. The massage place is on the 3rd floor and is open to all. I believe they are open 11 am to 2 am.
The hotel is decent (3 star). I book thru Asiatravel.com. Queensize bed, clean bathrooms with hot & cold water.
They never charged me xtra for the girls. However, good idea to tip the floor man 100 baht. Also, have the girls check their ID at the front desk if u stay there.

So when you went to Eden Club did you pick girls from the left or right side of the yellow line? What a great place, although I would disagree on how friendly Marc is. My first time there he was very accommodating - explaining how things worked. Even offered me a free drink. Since then he doesn't give you more than a few minutes before he starts asking if you're going pick a girl. He makes it a point in saying that his place is a "Services Bar", not a drinking bar... Still, it's always on my to-do list when I'm in Bangkok.

Christyusa - Try the Amari Hotel which is connected to the Airport through a sky walk, just look for the signs in the arrival area near the exits. I think it's on the 5th floor, but look for the health club sign in the elevator once inside the hotel. It was quite expensive, if I remember around $80 USD for about one hour. Nice clean room, queen bed, shower. I paid with a credit card to so that may have increased the price, in any case it didn't seem negotiable. A girl came to my room after about 5 mins, and was very nice. Got a little bit of everything. Left feeling very refreshed ready for my nect long flight back home to Korea. As it was my first trip to BKK I booked at the Eden on line booking service and allowed Marc to choose 2 girls for me so I kind of went in blind so to speak. Time to add a quick trip report to LOS. This was my second visit to Bangkok first purely for pleasure. Ok first night of 3. I got in late when to check in to my hotel. Majestic suites, cheap and 30 sec walk to Nana. I went directly to Canival as I have read on another Bankok board, that the girls there were all supposed to do anal on request. Wicked Willy's Return to LOS
Background
This is my second longer trip (for me) to the LOS, 11 nights in total. My last trip was in May and some of you may have read my report on that trip. Prior to this I had been a few times, but only for the odd day stop over or visiting with a girlfriend.
Now my target for this trip is to venture a little wider than before and try a few different places. I am going to try to report live so this is being written at 1 am on the plane, let’s see if I can keep it up. I still want to re-visit Noi from last time, try a few more ladies from The Long Gun and try one of the more famous girls at Barons. Beyond this I want to explore Soi 33 a bit more, try more soapies and visit a few less reported places. I have Club Orbit, The Tina Bar, The Louvre cocktail bar on Soi 11, The Q Bar and The Gentlemen’s Club in Soi 1 on the list. I am also going to try a different tack with the Eden Club, taking out a girl for my first night. I have saved myself for this so she had better be fit! A lot for 11 nights and what’s more, I plan to meet up with a good few fellow sanukers while I am here, so a tall order I think, but what the hell, this is Thailand.
One other thing I come equipped with a new notebook and digital camera so I hope with my basic camera skills to record what I can for posterity - any tips on photography and how to get the girls to pose would be appreciated.
The Journey
Following the good things I discovered in May, I flew to and from London using Eva Air Evergreen Class and am staying at the Grand President. Unless you are travelling business or first, I cannot think of a better way to get there. The cost was more expensive than last time £650, but I booked late, and is still great value and leaves you arriving far fresher than economy and for such a little extra, I still recommended it. |For the uninformed you get to book in without queues, fast track through the checking area and priority access onto the plane. The only real downside over business class is you do not get access to a lounge, not a big deal on the London to Bangkok direct flight. On the plane you get business class seats, good food and decent video. I was lucky to have seats in the emergency exit so could stretch out to my hearts content. The flight went very well arriving on time some 11 hours later. A good start.
Wanting to get to the action as soon as possible, I had pre-paid the 600 baht hotel taxi fee so was whisked off to the hotel. In all 1 hour from landing to hitting base, I of course told the driver to take the express way which helps and cost a mere 40 baht.
Booking in was straight forward as I had checked and re-checked, never take things for granted here. The Topaz suite was as last time more than adequate for the purpose of the visit and still has mirrors! The room is in better condition than the last and hopefully they will install DSL later today.

I paid exactly this 800 up front at desk. 1500 to girl no negotiations, just paid at end of session. You must ask for two hours though!

the first evening

today i am meeting some fellow sanukers at tlr at 1pm, if you are in bk and can be there it would be great to see you (10th oct), and there is a bangkok roundtable meeting at 6.30. i am looking forward to that very much. for action well that will be fitted in between as and when so an unknown day ahead.

well it is now monday 20 and i am back home feeling the bangkok blues big time. i have broken my resolution to write up my report and to go the gym everyday. little things like drinking, womanising and having a great …. no an absolutely fantastic time seem to have got in the way. the other problem i had was the dsl access in the room was not good, slow and most of the time i could not access the site to read and post messages, this is true, but even if it went as lightening speeds the first reason holds true. so dsl in gp not recommended.

I am not a fan of the Grace Disco. go to Mike's Place. It is across the street and down about 2-4 blocks.., other direction from Nana. You then walk in the club there and they are on the third floor. Not much to brag about last time I was there in Sept.
They are not cheap., $40+ for an hour.., $100++ all night.
There are other places and you may see some Euro girls on the street in Muslim area near Grace.

WW: I loved your trip report, it brought back so many memories of my trip to BKK in August, Eden, Angelwitch, TLR etc etc. I agree with you about Angelwitch, the girls there are generally better looking than other bars in NEP.

There were lots in CM2, only saw one good one and a few so so, the rest where pale (pardon the pun) compared with the Thai girls.
The grace has some to, all rough and not worth it even if they paid me. The only other place I saw them was Rivas in The Sukhumvit Sheraton, same as CM2 less quantity. Enjoy!

Dance Contest Day

There are two rounds and from this a final shortlist is drawn for the final showdown. I am not good with words so an adequate explanation is difficult. The girls are pre-warmed up with drinks, just like the audience, as time goes on, clothes come off, the moves get hotter, then comes the teamwork, working with the audience, props (oil, cream bottles…just use your imagination) and for some teams it ends up with almost an orgy on stage. Even some of the girls sitting around the stage are playing, kissing and encouraging the girls, its just smoking! The old hands know how to play the audience and really perform way beyond the line of duty. For me the moment of the night was when one girl seemed so much into it she would not get off the stage, she wanted bottles, licking, the lot. When finally she was dragged off, she ended up with three or four men all of whom had a great time I am sure … What a woman. It goes without saying she won the best moment of the night award! Well the action had to end and the winner was from the home bar, my second choice, but a worthy winner all the same. Today I returned from three perfect weeks in Bangkok; my first time back since I lived there as a teenager (now I'm 39). Before I get on with my report I'd like to say that I've read many critical remarks of women in the USA on many internet reports and sites. My first observation on arriving in Bangkok was what a bunch of pathetic losers many of the farang men were. I've never seen so many fat, ugly, bald and old men anywhere else but las vegas so please cut American women a little slack OK? One last point...the loudest and most ego centric men I talked to or overheard were often the most pathetic...nuff said. The Bangkok scene is very complex so it is best for first time visitors to follow a basic plan but to be wary of specific advice given by ANYONE! A good basic plan is to pick a hotel on soi 4 (nana, dynasty, raja, etc), you simply can't go wrong there. Go to the Beergarden (soi 7) in the afternoon, and eat at the good open air Thai restaurants across the street. I'm not much of a drinker so I get water or coke and give the money I save on booze to any lady I enjoy talking to (40 bhat or so). Go to the Thermae at night, but only briefly since it is interesting but usually just not a good venue for quality. Soi Cowboy (soi 21) is a main bar and gogo area that I found consistently disappointing. Ladies constantly grab at you as you walk along and the quality is low. The blow job bars are a rip off. Nana entertainment complex (NEP) on soi 4 just has so much more going on that I find the two areas hard to compare. Advice for NEP is do a walk thru of gogos before making your choice. Overwhelmingly, I found the hottest ladies in Angle Witch on the 2nd floor. many farang like to sit in the bars on the ground floor and check out the action. I enjoyed this as well, especially talking with other farang. But to get the most bang for your buck, I had incredible success just sitting outside my hotel on soi 4 and watching the girls pass (remember all ladies walk or get out of taxis in this vicinity even the hottest gogo chicks). I never had to wait more than an hour to find exactly the type I was in the mood for (light skinned northern girl, or nice ass for anal, whatever). No money wasted on drinks, no bar fines, no problems. Usually I'd go that route early in the day , say 6pm, so I would be more relaxed and less desparate to make a choice later. Angels Disco in nana hotel is a must visit though again I prefered sitting outside, nursing a drink and simply waiting for a choice morsel to passs. Then go take her dancing or do not and bang her straitaways. Other great choices on soi 4 are the Bus Stop bar just up from nana hotel. cute girls and no bar fines mon-thurs. Also, Annies soapy massage down alley past raja hotel is a great value at 1000 bhat for two hours since girls will do anything to make you come twice. In total I took out 25 ladies in my three weeks and never paid more than 1000 bhat. A good number stayed over night though I always specified short time. Several became friends meaning some freebies as well as fun dates (movies, discos, IMax, bowling etc). Don't miss out on a traditional thai massage while in town you won't regret it (250 bhat plus tip). Also get your haircuts and nails done here, it is cheap and highly satisfying to have cute chicks pamper you. My last thought on Bangkok for now is this: it is unique in this world. the women are masters at looking in you eyes like they love you. I'm a tall, lean and fit guy with all my hair and good looks. But 80 year old men get equally hot chicks. But I also know for a fact that I could take girls right away from these old and aesthetically challenged cases since I did it once just to prove it. If a girl is with him but looks over her shoulder at you, well, she's still free believe me. The moral of the story is that you will never hear from these girls if you are fat, ugly or smell, but they know it. And they are not blind to how you look as the myth goes. I never really knew what any girl really thought of me and neither will you. But in the end we all have one thing in common, we don't care since it is the ego (and other) stroking that we've come for and Thailand is incomparable in that.

Nice little report. I agree about Nana Plaza and the surrounding area. It has almost everything a guy needs to have fun. Also agree about appearances - makes a lot of difference with the chicks. Sure they will fuck anyone who hands them the money. That's why Farangs are called "walking ATM machines" but if you are clean, fresh shaven, not fat, and bring a party attitude you'll get great service. Biggest problem I had was getting rid of the girl the next day – she wouldn’t leave!

Day with Mam
I decide to stay with her a bit, we have Brunch (it is now midday) opposite the New Wave Pool Bar on Soi7 only a club sandwich but nice. I met with my friend MU at the Soi 7 beer garden, we had spoken before but not met, one of the many great people I met on the trip. The food here IMHO is OK, not special, but a great place to eat and people watch. MU was going to Pattaya for one day so we just had a chance to swap notes and give each other little titbits of BK info. He recommended the barber/beauty shops in the entrance to The Ambassador hotel for a shave and face massage. This was my third time at Versaces, in total I have purchased 6 suits, six shirts, two pairs of ladies trousers (made to pair I took out), an overcoat and they repaired my favorite waistcoat that I had written off.
Obviously I like it. Quality is excellent, never a problem with the suits and last year I did not like the collar on 3 shirts and they changed them at no cost. Styling is good and I am fussy, the only drawback is it is more expensive than others I have tried, but you pay for what you get and I usually choose the more expensive cloths.
The overcoat they did for me was to a Armani design and was superb, and three silk shirts made of good chinese silk (that were expensive by Thai standard) were perfect.
I also tried Barons tailors a little further along hading towards the Living Room. Bough jacket, two trousers, six shirts and two Kimonos. Workmanship was very good, not quite up to Versaces standards, but excellent nonetheless and it was less expensive, I would recommend it too.

Thanks for the info in Versace, I know exactly where they are, I was tempted to get a couple of suits made there but being one of the larger tailors I though I'd wait till I got a recommendation first!
I used New Royal fashions on Soi 11, quite good, everything ready on time (2 suits, 1 blazer, 1 pair of trousers) got a good price after a little haggling and 2 dress shirts and 1 wing collar evening dress shirt + 2 silk ties thrown in free of charge.
All in all cost me £175.00 but I think I would go to Versace next time, how much do the charge on average for a suit?
Where am I from? Somewhere where there are no Thai girls, well none that I have found anyway! Glasgow, Scotland! And it is bloody cold too!

CM2 is five minute taxi ride heading in the opposite direction of Sukhumvit in Novotel, Rivas is in the Sheraton a short way along Sukhumvit even side. If you like the Latin Dance clubs I can give you some addresses too.
Both have Russian girls, more in CM2 though. Yes I did meet and one and talk with her. From what I saw she was the pick of the bunch and to talk to was obvioulsy intelligent, but no action for me here.

Y makes WW boring (well almost!)
The next afternoon (we did not get out to 1.30pm) we went to the beer garden and I got to start to know Y better. Now here I will divert from my normal pattern of reporting, I will not go into great detail on the time we spent together. You can be assured though both in and out of the bedroom we had great fun.
The next five days where spent mainly in Y’s company and I must admit I got to like her very much and I hope know her a little, as well as one can a Thai girl. Her spoken English was excellent, one child, 26 years old, understood western humour and had a wicked sense of humour herself. Looks wise she was not my normal type, tall.. no, larger breasts….no, long hair yes and very nice. She did not dress like bar girls, never used her mobile, despite being given one by a friend and I think was a bit of a loner. I have seen and been with many better looking ladies in my time, but this one caught me with her wonderful smile, deep eyes and personality. She to me seemed very different from all other Thai girls I have met. She was a local girl, born and bred in BK, not overly educated, but was obviously bright. I know she worked for a legit. company until a few years ago, as coincidentally, I know someone who has known her for a few years. She was very aware of the bk scene, what goes on and did not kid herself about it. She had obviously been hurt by the father of her child and carried that with her, but this only came out as we talked. She obviously wanted the best for her daughter paying for her to have private English and computer lessons. I never had any bother from her about money, she told me if I wanted to see anyone else there was no problem and when out with the lads made it quite clear that I could spend time with them while she sat in the background. Never a hint of jealousy and possessiveness that I had from Mam. Genuine, I think so, but of course I remain a little sceptical.
Over this period of time we went to salsa in Soi 18 twice, visited Rivas, CM2 twice, went shopping in Sukhumvit and Chatuchak weekend market, took a boat cruise with MU and his lady, Bamboo bar, spent some time playing and relaxing in the hotel pool, ate in the plaza outside the Ambassador Hotel, in Robertsons near Askok and often on the street and had a few massages. I did my first good-bye at the airport, no tears visible, but she did have watery eyes and I think she was fighting them a bit. PhantomV was very kind and took me to the airport and Y home so he probably knows more than me!
Overall, I do not regret taking this course, I was tempted to go back to my butterfly ways and once did stray to a MP, but this was dulled by wanting to be with Y. I know I should not have weakened and kept up with my “wicked ways”, reporting as I had planned to, but I did still have a great time and it was a new type of BK experience for me, that I am sure a lot of you have been through. I am still in contact with Y and wait with interest to see if I get any of the requests of which I have read so much about on all the LOS forums. I am open to criticism for taking this course and would welcome any thoughts.
Back to practical reporting.
Rivas….. In Sheraton Sukhumvit hotel. Great band and music. Playing late 70’s/80 soul music. Not as busy or large as CM2 and with some Russian girls. Some Thai freelancers I think, some very nice ones too. Drinks are expensive but are served with good snacks. I would recommend the Irish coffee, one of the best I have had anywhere in a long time. Worth a look.
Steamboat section on food mall lower floor of Robertson’s, near Asok. Good food, electric steamboat with selection of dishes to cook at your table in the steamboat. This was quite good and VFM. Being greedy also had a dick dish which was very good.
Street vendors…. Had a few late night snacks here, no after effects, food was always good (noodle soup mainly) and extremely cheap. Tried some bugs, but they did nothing for me!
River Boat trip …. The only touristy thing on the trip, booked from GP 1200 per person 6.15-10.00pm. Set of from River City on a very nice boat, it was very touristy, food OK, buffet style, followed by views and band on the upper deck. It was expensive, but I enjoyed spending some time relaxing with Y, MU and his girl and was a very nice start to my last evening in BK.
Bamboo bar … good place to meet friends and girls, music was not to my taste and girls not as pushy as Soi 7 beergarden. There are some very good pool players in here so watch out!
Chatuchak weekend market. Went with y, MU and his lady. Get of at Mo Chit skytrain station at the end of the line, you cannot miss it. I am told rightly or wrongly that this is the world’s biggest market. What ever, it is big and very diverse, certainly worth a visit. It sells everything from tatty copy goods to more upmarket and expensive items. Eat there, the food we had at a Japanese stall was wonderful, the best ribs I have had ever! I think it starts at 10am and goes on all day, certainly worth at least one visit.
Salsa …. For the odd person who like salsa, or Latin Music I like La Rueda at the Sukhumvit end of Soi 18, small, but great people and good bands. Mainly Cuban. La Meridien hotel (la nina) Ploechit? Road, near Siam centre, for more upmarket more Southern American style dancing and music. Expensive. Anyone would like more info let me know.
Plaza outside Ambassodor Hotel …. Lots of stalls to choose from including seafood and meat. Food was good and reasonable and it was nice eating outside, except for the god dammed awful music. That aside I enjoyed eating here and made a nice change. Note there is a cocktail stall at the beginning on the Sukhumvit end, cocktails all 50-60 baht, loads of choice, incredible value!
One short aside here. Y had told her friend who was going to go to the Hard Rock that she was meeting me here, but had to go home to get something. Who turns up first, yes, her friend, (who set off for here immediately on being told) perhaps another example on how there is no honour between these girls. Boyfriend poaching is par for the course!
The last night ended via the Bamboo Bar at CM2, had a great time, with some great people, again drank to much, but could have kept going all night!

Epilogue.
As you know now this trip did not end up as planned and some serious reporting went out the window, apologies for that. That said, I had the most wonderful time and am now suffering from deep Bangkok withdrawal symptoms. (Cures on an e-mail please). The more you come here, the more you get addicted and drawn in.

This was a different trip from before, in that I did not have many go-go bar girls, going more for freelancers and for the first time had GFE experiences. Girls aside, I spent much more time drinking, dancing and meeting more great people and this added up to make the trip a special one. My capacity for drinking without food astounded me and I acquired a taste for shooters that I never had before (You guys where a bad influence on me!). I could have fallen for Thip or Mam, as well as Y, both were lovely, good looks and great bodies so can now appreciate how easy it is to fall for the Thai girls charms. I also saw the jealous and aggressive side of them too. I still love soapies and wish you could get them here.

Reflections. I do reflect back on whether I should have got drawn in with Y and how I felt and feel about it now.
My conclusion is that you cannot plan a trip to LOS. To experience it properly you have to immerse yourself in everything, not just girls, but meeting people, talking, drinking, soapies, flirting, massages, pampering in beauty parlours, watching sport while being caressesed by young cuties, dancing, eating, playing connect 4, shopping…….I could go on. For me the trip was one big party. I will come back, no must come back, because addicted I am. So much so, I am now looking at how it will be possible for me to live there in a few years time, I suppose I am on the slippery slope, no hope for me now!

Doesn't sound to me as though you came back with a lot of regrets, and what better thing can you say than that you had a great time and have no regrets? I only hope I can say the same thing at the end of my own trip.

To wickedwilly: many sympathies for the pain you must now feel having recently departed the LOS.
You are one contributor to this forum who seems to relish the adventure of being in Bangkok as much as the comfort and pleasure of the beautful women. Every person I met (thai or westerner) I asked for recommendations of places to go; and while I had my own daily favorite hangouts, I ultimately realized just how many different layers there are to the Bangkok scene. I'd recommend anyone travelling to Bangkok to make a simple list of the places found in wickedwilly's and other's posts before going. The list should simply be:
Place name, e.g., "nana disco"
Soi #, e.g., soi 4
Type place, e.g., freelance disco
keep the list simple to read and uncluttered, and of course leave blank space for the many additions you will come across when you start networking with new friends, foreign and native.
Also, one thought on the "difference" wickedwilly experienced on this trip. It seems that the vast majority of farang visiting Bangkok have a "hole" in the heart area and are looking for a connection above and beyond the physical. But is it not equally possible that many of these Thai ladies are also experiencing lonliness and a genuine desire to "connect." If you read expert essays on the Thai night scene like "private dancer" you maybe conclude with their clinical coldness that we are JUST ATMs. But, equally, if you talk to many farang one might conclude that Thai ladies are just smiling receptacle for our semen. I believe these are both true in the short run but ultimately too conclusive and therefore wrong. Too many things happened to me in my short three weeks to believe that these ladies all read the same script or feel the same way toward farang. And look at you wickedwilly, after carefully building you rep and modus operendi, it takes just one or two ladies a bit dirrerent from the rest, to leave you but a shadow of your former self. Anykind level or kind of connection is possible with the ladies in Thailand; of course you vave to be viable mating material but that is true in any country or culture. I am very skeptical of advice that tosses everyone in a group, e.g., "thais view farang as barbarians."

You are correct in all ways with these statements. I remember my first trip to Thailand, the fun I had, but the sick feeling I had while was in Bangkok, after a few days, I was ready to leave in many ways. After hearing the TG stories (true or un-true), beggars, dirty air, trash in the streets, etc, all the depressing things in Bangkok and the other cities in Thailand, you just want to leave. But after a week of being there, it was like being addicted to a drug. You are ready to quit, but just one more.
Every trip to Thailand since, on my plane trip home, I am planning my next business/vacation trip Thailand in 3 to 4 months. It is truly an addiction, for allot of us, in some ways we are lucky that Thailand is a 16 to 18 hours away by plane. Otherwise you could loose yourself in a fantasy world, like a drug addiction.
But if you are like me, with too much day to day business to do, and no time for fun in life, because of work, Thailand is a great release to forget everything in life for a few days. Every time you are there, you are ready to leave when it is time to leave, but after being home (real world) for a few days, you are ready to go back and escape life again! Isn't Thailand great!!!
Just do not fall into the traps with the girls in the clubs and it is great! Just use the 3F as kindly as possible, and you can have a great time! Sorry, but I missed a couple of things in my postings. After I got back from the market, I had a couple of hours on my own, part of which I used to have a shave and haircut at the barber shop I mentioned earlier in “A fateful and fantastic day!”. The tall lady was there and we still got on well and must admit we both flirted with each other like mad. I had a job not to laugh out loud sometimes …not a problem normally, but it is when you have a cut-throat razor at your neck! As I left she gave me her telephone number and e-mail address and made me promise I would stay in contact and take her out when I next come to LOS. So maybe one in the bag for next time already we will see!
The other thing that I did not think I mentioned is I used another tailor as well while I was there. Had some stuff made at Barons which is in the odd side of Sukhumvit going away from Soi 11 in the Asok direction. Good service and quality, not quite up to Versaces quality, but a little less expensive. I will go there again.

I do not think that the high-class Thai officials you met believed for one minute that the girl with you was not an escort. They would never assume that a young Thai lady in the company of a single Farang male is not on his payroll as a sex provider anyway.
In your case they were right, but sometimes the young lady is actually a genuine secretary/interpreter. Thai women often complain that they cannot be seen in public with men, Farangs in particular, because they are assumed to be concubines.
My understanding is that in Thai society it is ok for well-off men to have a mia noi, i.e. a mistress. On social occasions, depending on the case, they go alone (often), or with the wife (seldom), or with the mia noi (to parade her in front of business associates). But the young and pretty thing on the arm of a visibly wealthier/older man is always assumed to be on the payroll. Sad but true.

Bangkok Update.....
Just a quick update on some of the action in Bangkok (from a nubie). First time here and I have used this site pretty much as my guide. I went to a high class massage the other day
(J - One). Cost me $120 US dollars for a rather attractive 28 year old thai woman for a soapy massage and suck and fuck. The soapy massage was pretty outstanding (first time) but when it came to the good part....well there was not one. She gave me a hand job, that I had to finish myself. Then when I wanted round 2 she acted like she didn't understand english (all of a sudden). Anyway, I'm not a wealthy man, but I figured I would just chalk it up to experience and got out of there. A couple of night I picked up a lady on the way home from the bars, both working girls just getting off their shift. One was 19 named NOK and was sweet and fun but no oral. The other (I forget her name) was 25 and did everything pretty well. Both short time. (BTW - I stayed at the Ambassador and had no trouble with bringing girls up to my room. I reccomend it to all who go to Bangkok, It's certainly (in my opinion) the best time for the money.

The Marriott is a gret hotel, VERY guest friendly, and only a five minute walk to Nana Plaza.
Afraid I can't help on dance clubs but try the Nana Hotel or Grace Hotel, alternatively ask the Marriott concierge they are very helpful.

Just as a note on the secirity thing -- the Bangkok Post has been filled with a lot of hyperventilating by the governement over the foreign travel advisories naming Thailand, as they are fearful of still more damage to tourism. This is especially true since there have been minor bombings and unrest in the far southern areas, which the givernment blames on local criminal gangs as opposed to terrorists. A gaudy little show of strength and concern, even if it temporarily dampens the fun, is inevitable (and welcome) in that context.

How to Get There Take Skytrain to Station N2, Phaya Thai. If you are coming from Central Station (Siam Square), go to the OPPOSITE side of the platform , then walk in the SAME DIRECTION as the train was going to the exit at the farthest end of the platform. After coming down the steps, you will be on Si Ayuthaya Road but on the opposite side of the street from Chaophya #2. As you continue up the street there will be an office building near the corner with a Chaophya sign close to the sidewalk. It has nothing to do with massages; pass it by. Keep going until you reach a pedestrian overpass, cross over Si Ayuthaya, and keep going until you reach the parking lot of Chaophya #2.

I am in agreement with you on Eden’s. It is fun to try it once, but the cost is too high, for what you get. Anne's is O.K. if you are into just O.K. I have gone to Anne's allot in the past. But after going to CP2 and Mirage, I do not even go to Anne’s anymore. The little more it cost and the service you get at the other two, you will not even think about Anne's. Give it a try! ok, since it's terribly slow in here i'm going to risk posting a rambling tome (as if i'm capable of anything else.) on rereading it, it also seems to be as much about not having sex as it does having it, for some reason, but so it goes. if you're read this far and decide to read further, don't say you weren't warned, and don't take it out on me. simply scroll on by!

No, I'm not going on a CM trek, and will consider the Fang diversion once I get some work done. That's what I really came for, first and foremost -- I'm going to do my fair share of sanuking, but right now I'm just trying to learn a bit of Thai, spend a few hours a day writing, and troubleshoot unexpected gremlins from back home for a little while. As far as the transport, it had nothing to do with being here for ten weeks; I didn't take the train because I was still jet-lagged and over-tired (I really had an exhausting exit from the States, as I had to work like a madman before I left) so I just wanted to get here and settled in as swiftly as possible, and finally get adjusted to LOS. I'm heading back down to BKK in a couple of weeks and the way back will be leisurely and out-country, with Philok included. That's actually always been my plan -- nothing's changed.

Well, I tried Penegra as well, but the trick was that I could NOT come after that (100mg pill was split into halfs, price 150 Baht per whole pill). I was fucking a really cute Thai-Chinese, 9 of 10, for about 3 hours and was simply too exhausted after such an exercise and still no result.. I couldnt come.. Funny. I am with you on the subject; how some people act in Thailand. We went do this road a few weeks ago on the Thai Women section. We call it the "Want to be Millionaire" problem.
The people that think they are gods because there money goes farther, they think they good looking, etc. you know the stories. Then they make ass out of themselves, and also make ass's out of the rest of us a little at a time, just because locals slow get sick of getting kick a little at a time and start putting up a defense faster and faster to the foreigner they dealing with.
These people need to understand that they are the guest in Thailand and should act that way. All of us that has spent any time in Thailand or any Asia country, we have seen it. The person trying to get the last dime out of the street vendor, the person acting like a fool in the club, you can give example after example of this.
The bottom line, would these people act this way in there home country? Probably not, why do they do it in Thailand. You can have alot of fun and the Locals really will treat you with respect, if you treat them with respect also. There is no reason to go down the road of acting like the Want to be Millionaire!

The nature of online forums is that most people start from where they start, and move forward from there. A percentage will read archives first or later, but most probably will only do so if they don't get the information they're looking for.
It's my belief, however, Freeler, that your deleting approach actually increases the repetitive questioning and lowers the possibility of people using the archives, since your useful material is no longer on the system so the question must be repeated. For example, if I wanted to re-read (as was actually my plan) the wonderful and informative discussions you and skinless had while he was on his Heart of Darkness Tour, so I could consider staying at this or that place or the best way to get to X, that option is no longer there, so I'll need to ask again. And that's with me even being along on the board for the wonderful ride while it's happening!
It's unrealistic to believe that people are going to go through every day and recall or write down the names of hotels, areas, etc., when they think they're going to be available as part of a searchable online archive. The vast majority does not use this system every day. What your approach mostly does is render a thread unreadable, as when you read it people are responding and reacting to statements no longer there. That's why I now only reply to you or skinless by quoting, and would urge others to do the same.
Your signal to noise ratio has been consistently high -- and regardless of whether some one individual reads 500+ posts it's entirely possible that reading a particular ten of them in an area of interest would provide background and perhaps the information the person is seeking. 500 posts, 500,000 posts -- what difference does it make? It's just text on a hard drive that people can either look at or not. The reality is also that perhaps one in ten people post online, with most reading and lurking. Given the nature of this site it might be even a lower percentage than a normal forum. With at least 90% of those here being silent, I'm not sure how much you can generalize about how people do or don't use the board, the archives, etc. Perhaps the repetitive posts are simply the lazy folks or the squeaky wheels getting their grease, and the vast majority do search and read the archives. That's tough to tell without looking at the weblog or doing a survey.
The bottom line is that what your approach does do is discourage and disempower those people who do as you prefer and read the archives.

I agree also with Agl and Joe_zop on the subject of Freeler deleting his messages all the time. I get to the site in general once a day. And more times than not, you can read messages that you know that Freeler has gave some input into, but you do not know what Freeler has said, because the messages are gone.
There is some thing to be said about the history of the input into the forum, both on the side of how many entries that a person has done, and for people to get up to date on the forum. Also, this is a good source of information for new people coming to the forum, so the rest of us will not have to revisit old subject again.
The question, I would ask of Freeler; do you not like being part of this forum? Because every time you give input you delete the message, backing out of being part of this forum all the time.

If you think it is not important, why do you enter it on the forum? The bottom line is you think it will help people and is needed to be known. By erasing the input, you must be second guessing your input. You do not read archived material, but other people do and also the posting should be up more than a few hours for the regulars on the forum can see them. Don't be scare, be part of the forum. Wildman, I understand that you can look up train and bus schedules and the like, but for many it's just not that simple. I know the first time I went to LOS I ended up paying far too much through an agent to book a train that was not exactly what I wanted because despite searching online I couldn't track down the information, and I'd classify myself as having at least above-average net savvy. (It's better now, but this is still something, same as the discussions about catching taxis from the airport, that always and understandably comes up.) I wasted the better part of half a day dealing with a hospital until a Thai friend played catalyst and moved things along. Took me too long to do this and that in many regards, all of which eat up my trip time. To me, those are part of the practical realities that can distract and add worry to a trip. Why should hotel information be useful and train/bus info pointless? I think what's pointless, honestly, are your continued jabs at Freeler on this after you claim repeatedly you were done with it.
And do people NOT understand that something said with :D is being done with the broadest possible jokey grin? How does one possibly get upset with that? C'mon guys -- let's lighten up and focus on something other than each other, such as the subject at hand! And whether it's 40-year-olds for150baht (who are still younger than me, so who am I to complain) or fresh from the farm just-legals, the subject at hand is everything around finding women in LOS, not politics or how guys act here and who's number one on the useful or pain in the rear list. November, I'm gonna be really surprised if you don't find that one experience, and I think the advice given is right on. Let me urge you, though, not to completely write off PatPong, as it still is quite something to see and experience. It's a pricier place to hunt to some minor extent, and there are more places where you must be wary (lots of which are mentioned in the archives) but to me it's still a can't-miss part of the whole Bangkok experience. If nothing else, it will help you confirm that you like NEP or Soi Cowboy or whatever better. But I also still do know people who swear by it, and for whom it's their regular hangout, so if I were you I'd invest an evening there to see for yourself.
Finally, I'm going to put on my doctor hat (and quack bill.) To me, the degree of tension in this section indicates a highly irritable condition brought on be a severe imbalance of hormones in the system. My prescription is simple: you should all take two TGs and call me in the morning if you're not feeling better...

Your request for information is quite valid. On my first trip to LOS I scanned the archives of Paranoia.com the precursor of WSG. Even though I had a wealth of info I was quite unprepared when I landed. I took the high road and spent too much money. The sights and sounds of this land literally blows the first timer away. So for a newbie, here goes (and I hope the gang chimes in).
1. Don't take the airport taxi from inside the arrival terminal. Go outside and line up at the prepaid{?) taxi stand. Its right outside the doors on the left hand side. You will see a queue of people. Tell them the hotel name and they will give you a slip. A taxi will come up. They will go by the meter. Although it says to give the driver an extra 50 baht sometimes they don't even ask. Always act as this is your umpteenth time in the city. (BTW I have tried this accross the world and it never fails. They take you by the shortest route) Don Muang to Sukhumvit 250 baht + the 50 if the driver asks for it. Additional 40 baht if yoy take the toll road. I take it whats 10 cents anyway and you get in faster.
2. If you are going from the US then you are coming in around 11 pm and be in your hotel by 12. Take a quick shower/freshen up and hit the streets. Ask the doorman/front counter (not the women there) where NEP/Thermae/Soi Cowboy is. Go the bars and pick up who you fancy. Bar fine usually around 500B (none at Thermae). Take them out for ST. Make sure you get the girl before 2 am as everything closes. Bang them and let them go.
3. WORD OF CAUTION:
a) Keep all valuables (passport, money, jwellry etc) in the hotel safe before you venture out. Keep at the most 3000B in your pocket and nothing else. Get change at the arrival lounge at the airport.
b) At that time of night Sukhumvit is teeming with TGs and stuff. Great place to eat cheap and quite good too. You can also pick up TGs at these places after 2 am. But do not flash your room keys or go too friendly with them (like buying them food/beer etc.) Keep your location (hotel) to yourself) till u pick one up and take them there. On my trip in May this year, my friend (a first timer) got hungry at 2:30 am, went down to the street to eat and flashed his room keys atc. Next day I finally got him up at 6 in the evening. He couldn't remember what happened. He had a knock on the door. When he opened it was the good looking girls he treated an hour ago. That's the last thing he remembered. He was lucky. They left his credit cards and 100B in his wallet.
4. Day time is not for TGs. If you are up and awake, get a private car. Ask the front counter. For 1500 - 2000B you can get a full day tour around the City. For first timers, this is great. You can segment the tours. On my last extended trip I went to Ayuthaya, Floating market, Bridge on River Kwai, Ride on the Chao Phraya in a long boat etc. etc.
5. 5. Get Body massage is a great experience. Look at the posts for the good ones. Look at www.bangkoktonite.com to get a map.
6. Eden sounds great. Never tried it, but it is definitely on my next trip.
7. If you booked a hotel, you can always check out the following day to get to a cheaper hotel or a better located one. Check the map http://**************.com/maps/sukhumvit.shtml
B1000 will get you a decent aircon room. I usually stay at Ruamchitt Plaza (Soi 15 sukhumvit) but there are other great ones like Majestic, jw marriot etc. Look at www.asiatravel.com
8. Pattaya you can take a private taxi for 1550B or 400B for a van. My experience with the van has been a torture, They cram you in a Toyota mini van (15 people) and go all over BKK to pick up first timers before they start on the road to Pattya. The Bus service I heard is good but I never took them.
9. You can always get a good deal from the local travel agents for hotels in Pattya. (Plenty on Sukhumvit). Make sure you are next to walking Street if you want action.
10. Chiang Mai (CM) is another story. The above should be enough for your first time.
PS. Sometimes the plain looking TGs are the best for satisfaction. They aim to please. The good looking ones are always after your $$$.

Spent over three weeks in Thailand (and a few days in Pattaya and Phuket--great snorkling!)
Here are the highlights.
I am a monger who (up until now) thought that Buenos Aires was the best spot for quality of girls, low prices (currenct situation) withing a world class city enviroment.
Bangkok has usurped BA in my not so humble opinion.
Here are the highlights of my trip.
Landed in BBK after a shortish flight from Hong Kong. Took a regular cab from the airport to a 1 (400 baht) bedroom luxury suite at the CenterPoint Silom. (Can't recommend this place highly enough--you have a first class, 5 star apartment in a damn tower building, daily maid service and free inroom internet service. Furthermore, my apartment had a washer and a very modern kitchen (same kind of Apt on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly hills would run $3000 bucks per month--here in BBK I paid 1200 bucks for 3 weeks. They also allow ladies at no extra charge as long as they register with the front desk. Lastly--they have great modern in room electronic safes).
Here are my general impressions of the mongering scene. There are thousands upon thousand of available girls in Bangkok. I almost want to proclaim that virtually every girl is on the loose, baring a small percentage of the upper classes.
Nana Plaza area was a pretty big disappointment insofar as the "quality" of the girls were concerned. Yes--its a veritable open air sex bazzare that encompasses a good 10 block square area. (Walking from Nana to Eden, one night, I spied at least 500 hundred freelance girls in the 7 minute walk--insane! But truthfully, I never saw any stunning looking freelancers. Sure, they were attractive. But the Nana Freelancers struck me generally as plain looking and dirty. (YMMV).
I didnot score a single freelancer because most of my time was caught up in 10 different romances with GO-GO girls.
IMHO--the best looking glamour girls to be had in Thailand are the GO-GO girls in Pat Pong. To be more precise--in Pat Pong, I visited every damn go-go bar (most employ approximately 60-80 girls) and I found that the majority of the 80 girls in a given GO-GO bar were average, or cute.
But--god save the queen--there was always a few gems out of the GO-GO bars that made my visits worthwhile.
Specifically, I am talking about the Queens, Kings, and a few other joints whose names escape me (because the bars are all clustered together on one 300 yard block--you can't miss the places).
I have pretty high standards of beauty and the GO-GO bars allowed me to see what I would be buying. (whereas the freelancers who haunt the Nana Plaza area all struck me a s suspect--a bit frumpy, overweight, underweight, poorly groomed)
The Gems who dance at the go-go bars of Pat Pong (I would fairly estimate that there are only really about 60 go-go girls who I would rank as 8s in all of Patpong--and about 1000 go-go girls who rate between 4-6s) So--the majority of the girls I would never even consider--but this still meant that on every given night, there was a universe of aorund 60 girls that rated as 8s who I could enjoy. This was fine with me as I only had three weeks, two balls, and one dick).
But I digress....
My routine consisted of going to Pat Pong everynight around 10:00 pm, having a few drinks (beer) in a few different go-go bars UNTIL someone struck my fancy. At which point I would barfine the girls (400 baht average) and whisk them back to my luxury flat (which the girls all f-ing loved--I guess they are used to lesser accomadations. But beleive me--the great pad meant allot. 1) The girls all beleived that I lived and resided full time in BBK--and they viewed me as a potential boyfriend. Which resulted in GFE effort by the girls. I never recieved such stellar service. (And I previously thought that Buenos Aires was the tops in this regard. But now I realize that despite Thailands sex industry (and Pat Pong being a "factory" of sex workers--that Thai girls view their customers as potential LTR candidates, perhaps even husbands, or in a worst case scenario--someone who might send them money. Whatever they were thinking, virtually all of the girls (except a small percentage) treated me in bed as though I were Richard Gere. (what actresses they are!!! If I wasn't such a ruthless bastard, I might have fell in love with 10 of these lovely girls.
No here, I must also remark--that the girls that I selected IMHO--were the f-ing cream of the crop of their respective go-go bars. This were girls who basically get bar fined every night because of their beauty. AND YET--I felt that they were not hardened pros. (Sometimes in Buenos Aires--and certainly in Moscow--the prettiest girls are often the most professional and the coldest). I was thrilled to find that this reasoning did not apply in Bangkok.
More general impressions.
I went to Soi Cowboy to break up the action and visited the vaunted Long Gun. IMHO the girls couldn't hold a candle to the finest that Pat Pong had to offer. Although I did score a petite (4'11) gorgeous girl who I saw at least 4 nights who was voracious in the sack and I still keep in touch with here via email. However, all in all--the Long Gun did not live up to its reputation. Nor did all of Soi COwboy.
I also ventured into the BJ bar next door to the Long Gun and must say that I was morified to discover that many of the girls working there looked 15 years old. No exageration. I am willing to bet my life that at least a few of these girls were under 16. And this I find to be disgusting.
I like glamour girls in their early 20s with western features and large breasts. The only place to find these girls (en masse) in BBK are Pat Pong and the Massage Parlours (like Posidons--which I highly recommed).
On three occasions I visted Eden Club and had a blast. The girls are rather haggardly (to be fair) but their service is extraordinary. I met Marc and he struck me as a cipher, nither good nor bad. A blank slate who sat at the bar and mineded his business.
One note about Eden--actually two notes. On all three occasions that I went to Eden--I was shocked by the number of cockroaches I saw in the filthy bathrooms where the girls shower you.
My second aside about Eden is this: Once I have a girl in the sack that I can basically do anything to--somehow, the perversion of doing no longer seems perverse, and thus, it wasn't as compelling as trying to bang my high shool sweetheart in the ass. Does that make sense?
Anyway--I suggest all good mongers to visit Eden once--even if you don't partake. Go and have a drink and walk if the girls don't excite you.
A couple of final thoughts.
Bangkok is the big leagues--all the beautiful girls work thereEspecially the really beautiful ones. Pattaya, on the other hand, is the minor leagues. I saw a marked drop in the looks department. In fact I didn't even bother to sleep with any girls in PAttaya becuase I was so used to the stunning 8s in Bangkok. I guess the rational is--if you are a beautiful girl, you go to BBK to work because that's were the real money is.
Phuket is beautiful and if you like to snorkel. Its up there with the world's best (although I prefer Tahitti for pure snorkeling). The mongering scene in Phuket is prevelant also. Christ--there isn't a square mile in Thailand were you can't at leat buy a hand job.
To conclude--BBK is overwhelming in its amount of girls. Estimates claim that there are 800,000 sex workers in BBK which sounds ludicrous at first blush, but then again....
If you have never been to BBK then I heartily recommend it to all mongers. I can't believe that I am saying it--but BBK beats Buenos Aires for the sheer expereince.

2) I haven't seen barfines at Go-Gos less than 500THB, even at Nana for over 2 years. Which bars are charging 400THB in Patpong? It has always been MORE expensive than Nana, where I have heard that barfines of 600THB are starting to appear...

I've been to Europe, Prague, Russia, Brazil, and others, and was comtemplating going to Thailand for a long time. I am not too much into Asian girls so I always postponed it. I was planning for Argentina, and maybe Cambodia.

Hey all--to answer some questions:
Regarding Nana--I went into virutually every go-go bar in the complex and will admit that there are some stunners to be had, But compared to Patpong--it seemed like a drastic step down in the sheer number of quality of hotties. (Also--there was one go-go bar in Nana that employed girls so young that I became disgusted and wanted to call the United Nations or something. I really didn't like Nana--but don't get me wrong. If forced to--I could go there every night and find something that tickled my fancy--its just that Patpong was much easier. I am lazy).
Regarding renting an incrediblly modern apartment (instead a regular hotel).
Go to google and do a search with these three words:
Bangkok serviced apartments
You will get a plethora of leads. The site will direct you to at least ten High Rise "5-Star" serviced Apartments. Each states fairly expensive rates on their web sites )approximately $750-2500 per month for Studios up to 3 bedroom apartments.
I suggest checking out the various buildings on the net and then emailing the sales agents directly and then negotiate with them. Tell them straight up what you want to pay and more often than not--they will oblige. However, be advised that its the High Season and they may not be as desperate as they were a few weeks back.
In any case--you will be so much more comfortable in a one of these splash pads! (See the pictures and floor plans on the sites!)
I can vouch that the places are extremely clean and absically have the exact same vibe as a great hotel--the only difference is that instead of a room--you will have a spacious apartment with a modern kitchen and washiing machine.
Regarding prices of go-go girls in Patpong.
Barfines vary between 400 baht and 500 baht. And the Long time rate for me was generally quoted at 2500 baht and I would then negotiate down to 2000 baht. ) Although I am not prone to chiseling the girls down, many admitted to me later that they would have accepted 1000 baht (on slow nights--its better than nothing, I suppose).
I should also mention that many of these girls (at least 8) wanted to develop long term girl-friend relationships with me.
To get this kind of service, I strongly suggest that you:
1) Tell all the girls that you just moved to Bangkok for 2 years because you are work for an international business company. (This lie is paramount insofar as leading the girls into thinking that you might be a regular meal ticket. BELIEVE ME--they will go the extra mile for you.) I
2) Be extremely nice to the girls as you escort them back to you lair. Compliment them, tell them that you are falling in love with them, put on a little show. (Apparently, every so often, a punter is prone to truly fall for these gals. And the poor bugger will actually propose marriage to a go-go girl. The girls told me that it happens every few months in each bar. AGAIN--if the girl thinks that you are a bonafide romantic--then she's apt to pull out all the stops in the sack.
3) If you manage to score a true champion, one that truly suits your fancy--then by all means, act like Frank Sinatra once in your life and tip the girl well. The girls generally get treated like shit by drunken oafs who practically vomit on their beavers. If you comport yourself like a gentlemen--this plays into their potential husband/sucker fantasty....I had these girls doing my laundry (in the apartment). They were offering to cook and clean for me. And mind you, these weren't scraggily wretches with stretch marks and black gums. Au contraire--these were class A, primo Go-Go girls. The ones you read about asking for 5000 baht in high season.
4) Dress neatly, be clean and don't get sloshed.
5) Don't cavort about the malls with these girls if they can't really speak English. You will regret it. Believe me!
Yeah, its tempting to want to spend a little "normal" time with these stunners but most of the girls are useless outside of the sack. A few hours of Pillow talk will provide you with her entire life story. Don't be a fool and think that by squiring her around Bangkok that she will suddenly become an articulate girl. If you simply must go on a date with her--take her to the movies (EGV Cinemas show American BlockBusters) this will ensure that you don't have to talk to her.

Airfare--is brutal now that it is the high season. Search consolidators who sometimes have deals on NorthWest Airlines (approximately $1000 RT--cheaper in February around $700 RT from States).
Re the cost of 3 days--
There's no way a man can even consider flying all that distance from NC, enduring the terrible jet lag, and then spending only 72 hours in Bangkok. Forget about it. Go to Argentina instead as it is closer (10 hours) and just as cheap (because of the currency devaluation).
If you are hellbent on BBK for three days: Figure it will cost you $100 US Dollars per day. That includes cheap hotel $30 / girls $40 per day / food drinks $30
My advice is to save up and spend a goddamned month there and you will have the time of your life. I am no amatuer when it comes to mongering. This place is a punter's heaven. I've just come back from a first trip to Rio de Janeiro and I was impressed: Rio is top of the list IMHO.
Obviously there're many more pussies per square metre in BKK, but the quality of the pussies in Rio can't be matched: I've found there the cutest chicks I've ever seen.

Here is my report from my recent visit to LOS .....
I arrived in Bangkok at 4 pm after a 10 hr flight and went straight to my hotel (nana) for a hot shower and a short sleep ..... I woke at 7 pm feeling hungry in more ways than one.
I had a quick bite in the hotel then headed over to NEP .... I had a look in a couple of the bars on the ground floor, but wasn't too impressed with what I saw, so I headed to the escalator on the right hand side and went up to the first floor, where I went into a bar called Fantasia .... I had a beer and watched the shuffling, not more than 2 mins passed and a girl came over and asked me to buy her a drink I declined, as I was about to go when I caught the eye of a cute little thing who was talking with her friend who was with her meal ticket for the night .... she came over and started chatting ..... her name was Aon, 22 yrs, 5'1-2, cute firm body, with a nice smile, she also had a very bubbly personality which I liked alot .... she wanted 2,500 bt long time, but settled for 2,000 .... so, back to my hotel, we both showered, she wasted no time at all, she yanked my towel off and started on a fantastic bbbj that included lot's of ball licking .... then I heard some wonderful words ..."you boom, boom me now ???" .... oh, yeah, started with missionary, then she rode me like a cowgirl, before we finished with some great enthusiastic doggystyle .....

One more thing, I will be in Bangkok again, April 2-4, only 2 nights at the Montien Hotel which is very close to Patpong rd, this is only my second time to LOS and first to Patpong rd .... I wanted to ask if there are some good bars you guys could recommend in Patpong ....... and has anyone stayed in the Montien Hotel ? .... and is it girl friendly ?? .... thanks,

I got hold of her and have been banging away with this hottie for the last two days. She is one of the most animated and wildest girls at Angle Witch soo much fun. Last night myself, her and her friend from another gogo bar went to Holyywod Awards and the chicks picked the tap all night due to some STUPID American dude that paid my lady 10,000 bath for one night (what an idiot \ even the girls said that was stupid to pay like that). can't tell u about your montien hotel. i suggest simply emailing them a few blunt questions: what is your policy about guests bringing bar girls back to the hotel? is it permitted? and if so--are there any additional charges?

its such a centralized area of bars that to recommend one place over another is silly. you can easily bounce in and out of 20 bars (if not 40 bars) until you find a place with girls that align with your tastes. i suggest the go-go bars over the beer bars. the go-go joints seem to employ the highest caliber, most glamorous (albeit most expensive) poontang in the city. moreover, you can "preview" the gals bodies in the go-go bars.....but the beer bars of patpong (mainlly on the side streets off the main patpong road seem to employ lesser quality beaver. older girls whose bodies are packed into blue jeans.
here is my 12 step program to anyone staying in a girl friendly hotel near patpong.
1) during the day drink tons of bottled water. bbk is extremely hot, you are no doubt jet lagged as well and the fact that you will be humping like mad--makes you a candidate for dehaydration. furthermore, water replenshes your supply of semen (a fact!)
2) buy a tab of viagra at any number of pharmacies in bbk.
3) arrive at patpong early, say around 9:00pm. walk in and out of 10 bars and do not sit down or be hustled into buying a drink. simply tell the hostesses that you are looking for your friend. in reality you will be aprising the poontang. its extremely easy to quickly sum up the girls of certain bars. some places are extremely lugubrious dumps that employ haggardly looking dancers and since you are able to tell this inside of 30 seconds of peering around the joint--there is absolutely no purpose of sitting down and buying a drink. only sit down in a bar that has pretty girls!!! makes sense, right? why waste time or money?
4) find a go-go bar that does employ a bevy of attractive girls. then take a good seat near the dancers (don't let them shepard you off into a dark corner). you want the girls to see you as much as you want to see the girls.
5) spot a dancer you like and invite her to sit down--inside of 10-15 minutes of being there) determine whether or not you have a rapport with your chosen girl. (also--make sure she is in fact a girl!)
6) next--tell her you want to barfine for shorttime rate of 1000 baht but make her understand that if she is very sweet and performs excellent service that you will ask her to stay the night and pay her $3000 baht (yes, that's right, 3000 baht).
you: "how much for short time and long-time?"
her: "1500 baht short-time and 2500 baht long time."
you: "i'll make you a deal, i'll give you 1000 baht for a short-time rate but if i like you i will give you 3000 baht to stay all night--does that sound fair?"
her: "yes!"
let me stop and explain:
because its early in the night--virtually every girl will say yes to a 1000 baht short time rate. especially because your hotel is near patpong. the potential of turning you into a 3000 baht long time (all nighter) is a nice option for her as well. and for you--think of it this way. if she performs fantastically--you can decide to extend her stay and for a premium amount, granted, but at least you have a proven performer for this amount of money. if she provides mediocre service then simply dismiss her after the short time session--then she only cost you 1000 baht. it will still be early enough for you to hit patpong for round 2.
back to the plan
7) pay the barfine (usually 400-600 baht) and when the girl goes to get dressed, stealthily swallow your tablet of viagra.
8) back at your hotel--demand that your girl take a shower. don't be shy about asking. hand her a towel and say, "here, you may shower first".
9) while she is in the shower lock your valuable shit into the safe. although these girls generally don't steal. why run the risk of ruining your vacation?
10) look at your watch (if you have been smart its only 10:15pm).
11) your girl comes out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her. now take your own quick shower. clean yourself properly so that you smell great (and so the girl feels comfortable with yor hygiene level).
12) get down to business and put the girl through the paces. you are at a great advantage because 1) you have the help of vitamin v and 2) the girl is now auditioning for an all night $3000 baht rate which--in her mind is easy money. be sure to ask her for everything on your list of fantasies (within reason).
after you've dispersed your load. decide whether or not you want her to stay. here i strongly suggest that you dismiss the girl!!! unless she behaved like a porn-star. you are better off hustling back down to patpong and scoring another gal (look at your timepiece: its now only 11:15pm. the shank of the evening!!!the viagra you swallowed will ensure that you can take on 4 more girls if need be.
however--if you decide to keep your girl, feel great about spending the 3000 baht for the long time rate.
why?
well for starters, if you go back down to patpong and score another chick, you will be facing more drinks charges, and another 400-600 baht bar fine, plus whatever you negotiate with the next girl. all that will add up to another 3000 baht--but this time for a unknown performer!
its just good business to pay a proven perfomer a fair rate--if for no other reason than its going to cost you at least that much more to find someone new who might be terrible in the sack.
but the real reason that you should be happy about paying your girl $3000 baht for the all-nighter is that she is an all out porn star that you actually click with.
you need only ask yourself the question: back in los angeles--how much would it cost to be with a porn star quality girl all night? the 3000 baht will seem cheap.
and remember--you always leave yourself the 1000 baht "out" if the girl is not up to your high standards--she only set you back 1000 baht!
let me conclude by saying that la larry is not a piker and couldn't care less about a few thousand baht. i care only about service and have found that there is a psychology and art to buying sex.
say- upfront you tell one of these go-go girls, "i will pay you 3000 baht for an all night rate."
well, then, you have put yourself in a postion of weakness. the girl already has made the sale and no longer has to go far out of her way to please you.
always try to maintain control without coming across like a cheap charlie.
and for god's sake!
don't be intimidated by beautiful women. you've spent your whole miserable life with ugly white girls in america or europe (lol) when you get to bbk, don't chose average looking girls. this is a land of beautiful looking women. keep your standards high. pick the best.
in america beautiful women are generally high maintenance bitches. but this is not the case in thailand. the beautiful girls are as sweet as the ugly ones.
it really breaks my heart to see a punter walking down a soi with a runt of a girl!
i think that men feel intimated by the beautiful thai girls and think that an ugly girl will love you better!
yes the ugly girl might in fact love you better because she rarely if ever works!
but she's still ugly!

I must congratulate you on your fine psychological approach to staff motivation...
This being said, I believe that 3000 baht is paying rather a lot. In my own experience, paying a girl 2000 for a full night of carnal delight is plenty.
As a matter of fact, I never discuss money matters with the girl beforehand. I pay for drinks, I pay the barfine and then I bring her back to my hotel. And she stays on until the next morning. By which time I give her 2000 baht and I get a wai and a smile.
In recent years, I do not remember having been disappointed by the behavior of any girl, sexually or otherwise. The thing is to pick carefully. I avoid the extrovert pushy girls who grab a man's part as a marketing ploy. The more reserved ones have a good chance of turning into excellent sex providers if handled properly.
