i was in bangkok last december. i spend a week there had some good experiences as well as bad. i guess the worst was racism. i am bi racial and am half black. i was with another guy who is an indian guy. we both travelled together to bangkok.
the bad experience was when we tried to enter the doll house / school girls or something like that in clinton plaza. both of us were stopped saying you need a membership. didn't know if it was due to the color of out skin. had a similar experience at another place in nana also.
visited a massage parlour but the experience was great specially a rub down in the shower. stayed at the mercy hotel and the coffee shop never closes and you can get pussy the whole night.
i saw some guys from syria who were scoring with some **** chicks, its scary. one can easily tell that the girl is under 18.

you see the thai's philosophy is a simple one based upon survival and greed, they are very selfish and don't give a shit about anybody as long there is some baht coming in their pockets. their mentality is i fu@ck you $$$ and from time to time i will fu@ck you back put $$ in minor wives and *****s pockets!
this is what keeps the economy going here, money goes around in circles you know! they hate foreigners, so they use and abuse us, steal our ideas and technologies, buy our products, steel our hard earned $$$ in shady business deals, give us hard-core worn-out *****s and if you don't like it they put you on the first plane home, get the drift!
so what is the answer, join the club! i must have layed maybe a couple of 100 *****s here in all this time that i have been here, just trying to work how things work here.
so what do you do, go to disco's, pubs, restaurants, shopping malls, sky trains(last week i picked-up a 30 year stunning looking housewife, took me to the sheraton, paid for everything, horny as hell, screwed for 8 hours), just let your imagination run wild, just be cocky and funny! it is so simple just smile, ping your eye and ask politely for her mobile phone number, you will get it 6 out of 10 times. i am nearly 50, look cleanshaven and smart, don't speak thai that much at all, but get laid at least 2-3 times per week with students, models, sales girls, you name it!

a nice hotel i use for our low key private business affairs is the promenade on sukhumvit soi 8, big king size beds, run by indians, very clean. the ladies love it as it is so discreet and private! it is halfway down the soi, so hardly anybody can see us hopping in and out of taxi’s!
before i go, please stop bragging on about this eden *****house, i would not even put my 7 1/2" stilleto in the number 10 there! it’s shit hole, tell me would you bone these kind of *****s back home, i thought we all had more class and taste than that.
by the way, for me sukhumvit soi 33 is the place to hang-out and have a beer or two. lovely ladies, cheap beers at tru-blu bar, wall street and the office bar, buy the girls after 11 pm. go early first to have one or two drinks, tell her you be back at 11pm, go back pay the fine, about 900bt. pay 1000-1500 st/lt no more only suckers do! not to bad as you will be the only guy that she will have that night or week, whom wants to be #3,4,5,6 plus for the night, not me babe!

Shouldn't you move your ignorant blanket statement to the opinion section. You fall into the category of expats that most people here (not just the Thais) love to hate.
You think just because you're an expat, you're above everyone else here with your money and your Western culture. You come in here and expect people to automatically kowtow to you? No wonder you still don't get it after 12 years. At 50, you have better probability of going to your grave than ever figuring it out either. The biggest irony is that when you do, it's these self-fish Thais who'll be burying you and saying your last rite...scary isn't it. I'm just glad that at least you know how to shave...
The point of this forum is for people of common interest regardless of their background to come together and share tips and ideas. While the second half of your posting is worthy, the first half is just full of it.

I'd lived here for two years and I've met both bad and good people just like everywhere else. For the sake of the good people that I met here, I just cannot tolerate your type of racist comment. I'm just glad it's in the new forum where it's easier for Jackson to regulate things so there won't have people like expat/whitepride/antiracist/bbb (all the same person) polluting this board. The place you are referring to is Champ Elysse. In my opinion, it got one of the nicest room of any MPs I've been to here. As for the women, Champ Elysse has the reputation of having some of the best in Bangkok. Starts at 2900 baht and goes all the way to 10,000 baht, it's not for the faint of hearts who are used to Nana/Cowboy setup. Also, don't expect much in term of skill.
In conclusion, Champ Elysse has the reputation of having good looking girls who are usually not very skillful and tend to be expensive.

I dropped into Darling last week about 8pm on a weeknight and it was reeaaly slow in there. Makes me wonder how long they can hold out located on such expensive real estate with falling market share. Seems like since BTS was built (fucked up the access via Sukhumvit) and the newer entries out on Ratchidapisek started popping up that Darling has been in decline. The oldtimers working the coffee shop and the floor confirmed that business is not great.
Downstairs is threadbare (especially the restrooms) but the rooms upstairs where it counts are in fairly good shape... clean, plumbing works, etc. In the past you would expect to see 70-plus ladies to choose from but last week there were maybe 25.

Well, I guess there is no shortage of working ladies. Thaidude/Freeler was correct. Thailand offer more than KL/Malaysia. Down there prostitutions are illegal and these activities only confined to disguised HC/Karaoke area. The forum there is however very active as they really share info and discussed on specific place/girls.
IMHO you are better-off here in Thai but no harm trying the other. The fact is a lot of Thai ladies available back there among other nationalities and thus more choices I guess.

Wicked Willy’s trip to LOS
Part one: Arrive in Heaven
So I have been researching my trip to LOS since I booked the tickets in February. Since then I have fastidiously read all postings on World Sex Guide Forum, Bangkok Tonight Forum, Nanapong Forum and Club ****** as well as numerous other sites with LOS info. I must admit I am indebted to all you guys who have contributed to these, not only did it help make my trip more successful, but it was great fun reading all the info. So this trip report, which will come in several parts, is my small contribution which I hope helps others on their trips. I have also commented on places I visited, the hotels I stayed, places to eat and a little about shopping as even the real sexual athletes out there will have some time to spare in between sessions.
Before I start to report my experiences I think it would be useful to outline how I rate the girls, as we all have different tastes. I like taller girls with a more fuller figure than the average Thai girl, being a breast man, no girl who is lacking in breast size could be a 9 or 10 so you guys that like the “smaller” ladies may upgrade my ratings a little to take account of this. My 10 would be over 5’8” very pretty with long hair, good sized and firm breasts with a small waist and bum but slightly shapely hips.
So after months of eager anticipation I arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday afternoon. I had pre-booked a limo from the hotel The Grand President (“GP”) on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Yes, I know I could get this cheaper but I like the easy life and
do not want any hassles on my precious holiday. The driver was waiting and I was quickly whisking me off to the hotel. A WW tip for taking the taxi, especially in busy periods is to ask the driver to take the express way, it cost 30 or 40 baht (50 or 65p), but it can save time. Within 25 minutes I arrived at the GP and was checking in. My next tip is to take all correspondence with the hotel with you especially if you have negotiated anything different from their standard tariff. The Thais seem to work by the book and need documentation for anything out of the ordinary, as you will see later in my report. Anyway within an hour of landing I was in my room showering and readying myself for action.
A word on the GP; I chose it after much research, because of the accommodation, location and price. The room was a good size with king-sized bed with plenty of wardrobe space with the bonus of having mirrors either side of the bed, which proved very entertaining. There was a TV, video, music centre with radio cassette and CD player and desk and small kitchen area, which had a large fridge/freezer. The bathroom was a reasonable size with bath and shower (no separate cubicle). It also had a good safe, which I think is essential. The hotel is in three buildings, each having its own swimming pool, as well as a very good gym/health centre, which was better than a lot of hotels I have stayed in, in tower 2. They also have in-house massage, but I did not try this, no doubt extras are on offer ….. at a price. It is situated a few minutes walk from Sukhumvit, coming out right where the steps to the skytain (Nana station) are. It is also midway between Nana Plaza (Soi 4) and Soi Cowboy (10 mins walk or 35 baht taxi ride) and still within
walking distance or 40 baht taxi ride of Soi 33 and Soi 24 (Barons). It is also well located for the Atami/CPII massage parlours, which are walkable, or a short taxi/skytrain journey. Clinton Plaza, Thermae and The Living Room (“TLR”) are even closer. I had negotiated a price of 1,485 baht per night without breakfast (5% credit card surcharge), but thanks to Hapa 1’s negotiation skills subsequently got this reduced to 1,300 baht (£21) with breakfast and no credit card charge! A real bargain I thought. Then room was a little tatty but was maintained every day and it is girl friendly, the girls leave their ID with security, but it is no problem and costs nothing. I would definitely recommend it. One last thing there is a shortcut to Soi 7 (Beer garden, food court, pool bar), just cut through the Park Hotel car park which is a little way on the left walking towards the Sukhumvit road.
It is now 5pm and I am as horny as hell, three months anticipation inside I head for the best place in Bangkok to relieve my pent up energy………Edens! This is so widely reported there is no need to go into details on location or about what goes on. Marc was there and very friendly as usual. I order a beer and chose a girl who promptly brings a friend. There was not a great choice say 15 girls, all much the same 5-7 on my scale but maybe some 8’s for this who like the slighter girls. Mine where both sevens and after seeing them in the room they where good sevens, both nice girls. Well after a good session of frenzied tongue exchange we headed off to the room with all the necessary equipment. The room was over the road as Eden’s was busy; this place is very popular. Part two: After Eden not so good.
After being well drained at Edens I needed a rest, so without further ado went to Sukhumvit and found the first beauty parlour after turning left. Now whenever I come to BK one of the first and last things I do is be pampered at one of the many beauty parlours. There are many on the Sukhumvit road or its Soi’s, you cannot miss them, they look like barbers shops only with pretty girls similarly dressed smiling and sometimes waving at you from the window. I have used different ones each time and find the service much the same and with similarly prices, so pick one with a girl that takes your fancy. I sit down. order a facial, ear de-wax, manicure and pedicure. Now for me this is one of the most relaxing things to-do in Bangkok, do not worry about it not being the manly thing to do, you are not at home now, but LOS. So I lay back, close my eyes and think of England, well not England actually but of what lovely delights I have to come in the evening. Well after one hour of being totally spoilt by three or four lovely ladies and dozing in and out of bliss I walk out of the shop feeling great and only 800 baht poorer. WW recommends this at least once a trip, I usually have one at the beginning and end, leaving me fresh for the journey home and looking good for the lady at home. One quick postscript here, another English guy walks in five minutes after me, a first timer in BK. He is not sure what to have and is offered the works, I said he should try it and I would pay for it if he did not, but if he did the beers were on him. As I finished I said with confidence “when can I have my beers” He said wait five minutes and they are on me…one satisfied customer, maybe I should ask for commission!
After having a couple of free beers in the Soi 7 beer garden, went back to the hotel to shower, change and get ready for some more action. First port of call was the Piccolo bar at the end of Soi Cowboy (Asok end on the right). Saw my pool partner from the last trip and latched up a 3-2 victory and had a few beers. This is a great place to start the evening playing pool with reasonable beer prices and no hassle. Next my favourite G0-GO …The Long Gun, IMHO this has the best looking girls and even at 8pm is quite busy. The girls ranged from 4-9+ and some dance very well (more in a later report “All-nighter with porn”). Here I made a mistake, guys to get a girl to come to you do not hold your hand face up and wave your fingers to attract a girl, I found out later this is an insult and is used for calling a dog. Instead, do it with the hand faced down or ask a waitress or the mamasaan. I had spotted a 9.5 tall, great body very attractive, but could not get her attention. So I went to my favourite dance club on Soi 18, a normal place not a pick up joint, but great if you like Latin music and dance. okay, I went back and gave Katherine another chance. Part three: Things still not quite up to expectations
After dispatching my lady I went for a workout at the gym. The GP gym was very good, one of the better hotel gyms I have seen. I spent two hours there including having a sauna, steam and deciding what to do next. I then buy most of the things I will wear here, for me it is excellent value and saves £££.
Back to the GP for a shower, then off to the Piccolo for a few games of pool and then off dancing for a few hours. At midnight I was back on the prowl. I went in the Thermae, it does not change, full of many characters both girls and customers. I got chatted up a few times but they were not for me, it was fun chatting though. I then wandered out and went to Nana Plaza. Just tell the pharmacist that you want some “Uprima”, in the two-milligram tablet size. Remember, these are dosed “sublingually” (you allow the tablet to dissolved under your tongue).

Yes, quite easily, though no break in price over U.S. Expect 10-20% higher, even. There are also outlets for herbal stuff with claims of effectiveness, and in Chinatown they sell stuff that looks like Viagra and is packaged like it on the street. I was too squeamish about experimenting with all that; someone told me the herbals worked for him but took longer and weren't as long-lasting.

Just to add to the last message, I checked with Marc in May and you can take girls out LT 2500 after 10 and I think 4000 before. this includes the cost of the girl until 6am + tip.
My view on the look of the girls is yes they are well used, but some are reasonable looking and more have good figures, no stunners but some quite good. On my last trip I had an 8 looks and 8 body and she was hot too. OK sometimes there is not much choice, but the bars and go-go vary a lot too, most of the time it is the luck of the draw.

Direction to CP2 courtesy of ZZtop.
Take Skytrain to Phaya Thai Station exit in direction of the Florida Hotel and veer to the right as you come down to street level. Continue walking straight up the street. Siam City Hotel is across the street.
Continuing straight down the street you will pass a Honda Dealer and then come to CP1 (avoid this MP). Proceed straight ahead and CP2 is on the opposite side of the street you have 2 opportunities at cross-over walkways to get over to the other side before you see CP2 on your left.
Total walking time from Skytrain to CP2 is maybe 5 minutes.

about Eden...

The Living Room or TLR is a bar on Sukhumvit (odd number side), outside Clinton Plaza. It is run by an English guy called Graham and is a good place to hang out, play pool, meet some nice girls and of course fellow mongers. There is a "snug room"/ TV room which is great too.

I have only visited Phuket on a non-monger holiday. It is a nice place with some good hotels though. I would have thought the sightseeing is better in BK and if you want to combine the beach with sightseeing and girls Pattaya is a very short, cheap and easy journey from BK and has wall to wall girls. It easy to spend some time in both places in one trip.

part nine: pattaya and a day of rest
to great sighs of relief of you all this will be the shortest of my reports, no action for the one and only day of my whole trip. basically i am tired, having trouble staying awake and to put it mildly knackered downstairs from the previous two nights over abuse. i kept my room at the gp as i was coming back the next day. hapa 1, gpf, zztop and myself hired a mini van to take us to pattaya. it was not expensive i think about 1,500-1800 baht so only a few ££’s each. the trip went very quickly, i was dozing most of the time. we were going to research a few hotels, but the first the flipper lodge was adequate and reasonable. i paid £12 and for this it was very good. i found out later that accommodation could be better and cheaper if you shop around.
the four of us wandered about, i was amazed at the amount of bars this place had. wall to wall bars, full with women. we lunched at an indian that was expensive and stopped at a few bars before going for a massage. i opted for a “normal” massage and spent most of the time dozing and enjoying the experience, she must have known i was out of it as she never even offered any extras. the massage was ok and 400 baht. we then went to a bar across the road (amongst many other bars) and played the 9’s game and othello. this was great fun, the girls loved it and were very, very good too, i only won once!
we then retired to our room. i dozed again for an hour before going out. at night the bars are even more in your face, i have never seen so many women in one place. we stopped at a couple for a beer or two, saw a thai boxing fight…staged and not good and then wandered to walking street. we went in one go-go, i cannot remember the name, this go-go was ok. then we split up hapa and gpf were up for a good night, i just wanted to eat, wander a little then go to sleep, a party pooper tonight. zztop and i had some seafood, tried to find the other guys in tonies disco...definitely not a place for me, then slowly walked back, visiting a couple of pretty ropey go-gos and dodging the women in the bars who grab you every step of the way. this was an early night probably about 1-2am, i just remember falling on the bed and waking up in the morning feeling so much better and to my relief very randy again!
we all met up for breakfast and then i said my goodbyes to the lads, it was a little a sad, it was great sharing things with fellow pongers, but i hope we all get to meet up again. thanks to all of them for making my trip a better one.
my impression of pattaya? well one day is not enough to get a real feel for a place and in my state i was definitely not a good judge. however, on this look i did not like the place. it was all too much, too many bars, too many girls grabbing and shouting at you, too many young looking ones and not enough good looking ones. so many girls all looking similar to the other. i would go again and give it another chance if i had a longer time to spend in los, but i would not make it my primary place to visit.
the trip home was an improvement though, i got chatted up by a 6 waiting for the bus and a 6.5 on it. both spoke good english and passed the journey time away very nicely, however i declined their various offers of companionship and caught to skytrain back to more familiar territory. definitely a good place to pick up if you meet a good looker.

JTL -- I'd say it's at most pharmacies, certainly those in the general area of most mongering activities, and that its cost is pretty much in the same range as everywhere else. You do need to look out for counterfeits, and various places may also carry substitutes such as Silagra.
You can get Viagra over the counter, as well as Xanax, and Valium.
Don't pay more than 500 baht per tablet for Viagra. Some Chemists will quote 550, but they will quickly accept the right price. If you go to an out of the way Pharmacy you might get it for cheaper. Don't forget to have them chop it into quarters before you leave the shop. While your there you might want to pick up a little Xanax, It's the best way to deal with a 20 hour travel day.

I about have my choice of hotels for my trip to Bangkok narrowed to 3. Nana, embassador, or the manhatton. They are all about the same price, 950BHT to 1065. I am leaning towards the manhatton, because it is off of the main rd. Less Noise. Has anyone had any experience with any of these? Does anyone know if the Manhatton is Guest freindly?

She was also slim, her waist from memory smaller than 25" nearer 22-23" Her breasts I would say she where 32-34 C. I stayed at the Manhattan twice a couple of years ago. It was totally girl-friendly then. As far as I know, it still is, as pretty much every hotel in Bangkok, especially in that price range.
The best thing to do, as always, is to book a double room. That way, you won't get charged for an extra bed or that sort of nonsense.
About girl friendliness, I believe it is your right as a paying customer to bring any person you like into your room. If you have booked a double room, the only thing the hotel can do is to get your guest to register, which is not a silly thing to do for your own protection anyway.
In the case of the Manhattan, I remember one evening that I needed to collect a message from the front desk. I left my girl in the room and walked down the stairs when I was intercepted by two fairly drunk cuties. They giggled and told me that I was a very handsome man and that we should go to my room for some physical recreation.
I suppose that they had been brought in by a customer of the hotel, did the deed and were heading back to the bar or whereever when they spotted me and a good opportunity to raise some more funds for the sick bufffalo etc.
It is unfortunate that I had my girl waiting for me in the room, since I had to pass on what could have been a wild time with those two cute girls. It might even have been for very little money, if any.

Found out that a 1st class cabin is just 1099 b for the overnite to Surat Thani ( about the same as paying for a hotel room & you don't waste a day travelling). If I plan it right, could be in Samui in time for full moon party ( love that thai weed!!! ). will probably head for lamai beach as have heard there are plenty of bars & hence plenty of sexy thai women!
few days of relaxation in samui then probably head for Phuket. Would appreciate some advice from you guys who have done this trip on the best way to get from Samui to Phuket. Caligula, you're right, the Royal Asia is off Sukhumvit down Soi 8 and it was decent enough the time I stayed there. The house tuk-tuk system is kind of funky, but it actually works pretty quickly and well, and you're close enough to the action and the skytrain. You can easily walk the Soi as well, and there's a beer bar and biergarten on it as well as several restaraunts. I just took a metered taxi to get there from the airport -- more expensive than the bus, but far simpler, and Bangkok's got pretty much the cheapest taxis of any major city in any event. You can walk from there to Clinton Plaza without any difficulty, and to Nana as well.
I'm with Freeler regarding the nice scenery of going from Samui to Phuket, and it's really not all that far, but I have to confess with the time-consuming mess the Samui ferries can be I'm usually more inclined just to fly both to and from there. Just less hassle, and there are other places I'm happy to use trains and buses. The flights are short enough that they really don't eat up more time than the ferry does, presuming the ancient things are even working.
Lamai beach is definitely a great place, and as happening as Samui gets, as is Chaweng, which is simply beautiful. Last time there I stayed at a place in south Chaweng which made it easy to move back and forth between the two beaches, but people seem to tend to gravitate to one or the other. The place I stayed was called Samui Resotel or Munchies, and for less than 2000 baht/night I had a the best they had to offer -- a private cabin on the beach with an unobstructed view of the ocean which was a hundred meters away. Oh, hurt me more like that, please, life!
Sounds as though your trip's a bit before mine (early to mid November for me to arrive) so enjoy! It also sounds as though you've got a sensible itinerary and approach. And I totally agree with Freeler -- this whole country is absolutely gorgeous and worth enjoying, and you'll find the areas in and around both Samui and Phuket especially so in terms of beach and ocean. And that's not even talking about what we're all usually talking about here, the wonders of which match the beauty of the rest.
And on the soccer/football note -- I'm in one of the few areas rather nuts about the game, and we're all still amazed at actually winning, especially after stinking up the field four years ago...

Nana hotel is nasty and reeks of mildew.
I always stay at Majestic Suits. ( http://www.majesticsuites.com ) It's a small hotel with a friendly staff. The rooms are very nice. The restaurant is very good. It's definately guest friendly. It's just around the corner from Nana plaza. The price is 1100 Baht for a single superior room including breakfast. they also have a less expensive room called a single studio. Plus all of the rooms have Safe's to keep your extra Baht and Passport in. I really can't recomend this place enough, The hotel and staff have actually enhanced my trips to LOS.

Part ten: Noy re-visited
Keen to get on with business for the day I had a quick shower, picked up my shoes and clothes which where ready and all of excellent quality and went for a quick pick up at the Soi 7 Beergarden. Sitting at the bar I spotted a very nice lady about 20 sitting opposite, from what I saw at the time she was a 9, unfortunately she was talking to someone. I paid her the agreed sum and saw her off, then hurried back to get ready for my meeting. I had dinner at the Isarn Barn at my suggestion, it was very busy and had to sit on the floor tables, interesting but uncomfortable. The food was again excellent and cheap and unfortunately was my last visit here of the trip. After the meeting I went off for also my last visit to Soi 18 for a short dance and to say goodbye to all the great people there.

She changed and came out looking a million $ in a little blue outfit. Wow just the though of walking down the road with her on my arm had my pulse racing. Well she did not want to do anything else but go back to the hotel, so fine by me.
Back in the hotel she started off shyly again but loosened up and called me in the shower because she could not find the soap, sneaky WW had hidden it. Well I offered to wash her gorgeous body and she accepted, so soon she was as clean as clean can be! Back in the bedroom we continued where we left off last time, trying to make some conversation as we were at it. She was an improvement this time being more relaxed and we had a great couple of hours, including a couple of boughts of laughter as we tried some more adventurous positions! Phi Phi is beautiful and worth a visit. A little tip if you stay there - eat at the gypsy village cafes on the beach rather than the hotels the food is better and much cheaper and I had no upsets in the 14 days I was there. If you want company, take it with you, I did not find much on the island.

I heard silagra is just as good though. Made in India. Myself, I prefer the Pfizer stuff (now.... after doing the cut in three method as Tap recommended... it's ALLLL GOOOD). The whole dose is just plain unpleasant.... but 1/3 dose rocks on just right.
But anyway... silagra is about 40% of the price, but I haven't tried it.
Um JTL... you can probably rely on the real thing from the 2 Pharmacies near the Nana BTS station. There is one at the bottom of the escalator on the right hand side of the road (*note the multilingual sign: Apotheker, Pharmacy, and also in Arabic and Japanese). And of course there is the old reliable shop at the front of the Nana Soi on the left side (if you're coming out).
Ah.... and neither of those places have uprima. Still curious to try it.

Wicked Willy’s Trip to LOS – Part 11
Part eleven: Twos company threes an orgy
Well gents its my last day in LOS so I am sad and needing a good day. Noy is on my mind but I have to think positive have lots to do and need to go out with a bang. So I set off early to visit Pantip Plaza (computer and electrical) and Pratunam Market (clothes). Now both these are worth a visit, the former is the biggest complex of its type I have ever seen. Imagine your local shopping centre, probably double the size or more, fill it with computer and electrical stores and you can now imagine it. Here I bought lots of copy DVD’s and software, all but the most recent were of more than acceptable quality and the software worked, 180 baht per dvd/cd. The latter is mainly clothes, I think there is more choice for women here, especially inside, so shop for the girlfriend. Buy lots to show her how much you love her, its cheap and might help relieve the guilt a little (OK you get home and say “I have spent all my spare time shopping for you my love” I know!).
After whole days shopping, hot and with loads of bags I went back to the hotel for a refreshing cold shower. I was hungry now, so tried the Banyan restaurant in Soi 7. Now this is a good find too. Just keep on going past the Beergarden, Park hotel and in one minute you will see the sign on your right. It is a converted residence that has the air of an old planter’s house. Lots of space and light. The food is a mixture of Thai/Eastern and Italian was very good, original and reasonably priced. The sweets are creative and delicious and the beer is a good price too. Great for food or a more relaxing drink away from the hassle of Sukhumvit…WW recommended.
Next off to the English pub on the corner of Soi 33 to sample some English beer as recommended by the owner of the TLR. The best beer I have had this trip brewed on site and more like real beer (bitter). Then off to the TLR for a few games of pool and to say my goodbyes. My original girl was not there (thankfully), had a customer…so much for me being her only farang! So I was relaxed had a few more beers, talked with the girls, shared some slammers and had some games of pool with the girls and some great guys who where in BK for 3 weeks. Had a really good time and could have gone on, but needed to be fit for my last action and much more drink and that would have been difficult.
It was getting on now well past midnight, so I walked towards Nana, toying with going to Angel Witch, but trying to argue myself out of it. As I crossed the road from Soi 3 to 4 I thought of the two girls I had picked up earlier in the week, then amazingly I got a tap on the shoulder, turned around and there they were…incredible! They were making their way to their nightly stalking ground. All three were there, including the one I did not take before and immediately I knew what my destiny was for tonight. I found early in my trip that I could not sleep with a strange girl in my bed and I would end up dead next day so resolved not to, Porn ended up long term because she did not want to leave. Wicked Willy’s Trip to LOS – Part 12
Part twelve: Epilogue.
After all the planning, expectations and waiting the trip was over in a flash and all one (hopefully) has bought back are memories. Well after sharing these with you all of you must know I had a great time and cannot wait to get back, if I get a chance. Now I am having withdrawal symptoms and envying all you guys out there or looking forward to going. I did get everything done that I wanted even after a slow start, but now with the experience of this trip behind me would like to try a few new things. All requiring a longer term stay, unfortunately. How do you guys’ cope with coming back to the real world, especially if getting back soon is difficult?
One thing that did please me on the trip is that I was expecting the girls to be all money, money, money, or being possessive (perhaps I am just too damned ugly!) and for there to be a lot of pressure in the go-gos for buying drinks etc. I had read lots about this before I left home. Happily in general I found that this was not the case. Most of the girls were no hassle at all, their attitude was excellent and Thailand really lived up to its reputation as The Land of Smiles. What are your findings here?
My recommendations for the trip in summary are as follow:
If you are thinking of going, stop thinking and go. If you were not thinking of going, think about it and go! You will find many girls that meet your taste however fussy you are and you will have the time of your life. This is a place where you live out your fantasies.

I was thoroughly entertained by your play by play coverage of your trip, thanks for sharing and putting in the time. You may not know it, but punters have a certain "glow" or "aura" to them when they just return from such a sojourn as yours. The ladies will notice a confidence and swagger to your persona and smile that they will find attractive. It may not last forever, use it to your advantage. I believe it is good to feel as you do, with an unsatisfiable taste of Thailand and it's mystique fresh in your mind. This will fuel your fire to work hard and do whatever it takes to make your dreams come true again. Many have overstayed their welcome and come home bitter and confused, as I believe too much of anything is bad for everyone. On your next trip, check out shopping at Siam square and Mabucong. They are at the Siam exit of the skytrain. One of the largest open weekend markets is Chatuchak, at the end of the Bts line, North. To enjoy thai food in a/c comfort at close to street prices, the food courts in most shopping centers' top floors. Ex.- bldg next to J.W. Marriott, Sukhumvit. You are the man!

Thanks for all your comments guys, I will keep ticking over and just hope the opportunity for another trip does pop up this year. I am trying to cure my depression a little by planning a short break to Prague, a different experience to LOS but it has some fantastic women. If a trip to LOS is possible I will keep you posted.

( Because of the intermittent spots and disco strobes.) Try roaming all 3 floors of the Nana plaza between 430 and 6pm. You will be surprised by what you see. " questions regarding this. firstly, guess it's a fixed rate but read a post on *********.com that a farang who went there for the first time was quoted a higher price by one papasan. Caligula --you're not overpaying at 2600 baht for a presidential suite at Royal Asia if that's what you want. Personally, I found the Queen or Junior Suites just fine, and they're half the price, but one man's ceiling...
And in answer to your question on CP2, and in general -- it almost *never* hurts to bargain in Thailand, for anything, as long as you approach it in the proper spirit, which is as a short theatrical experience that shouldn't be taken personally. Just keep a smile handy, be prepared to walk away without recriminations if you feel you're getting jobbed, (lots of times you'll get followed and brought back with a new price) and be very clear to yourself about what you're actually prepared to pay. Bargaining is simply part of life there, and it's best to just have fun with it and remember that even if you lose the bargaining, things are still ridiculously cheap. I mean, really, tell me where in the states or Britain you're getting a Presidential Suite in hotel in an active sector of a major city for sixty bucks?
You're only going to spoil things for others if you're ridiculously and regularly out of line on what you pay, and what's most important for the trip is your comfort level as you define it and the quality of your personal experience. As long as you're in the general ballpark you're fine.

I have to chime in with my colleagues on this board about bargaining and overpaying.
As a Farang, you will always pay more than a local, especially if you do not speak Thai.
Since most things in Thailand are so much cheaper than in the West, it is not such a big deal, and not worth spoiling the fun of being in such a great place.
Usually, I do not buy anything I do not need (handycraft etc.). That reduces a lot the risk of overpaying for anything. After all, I do not shop for goods, only for service ...
And do not fear to distort the local economy by paying too much ...

freeler, interesting point about Thai gossip, however, i certainly won't let that put me off.
joe_zop, one thing I have learned from this forum from guys such as yourself, freeler et al is the importance of good natured bargaining. being jai dee, smiling & never losing ones temper i understand as being paramount. With a common sense approach I feel you can get a lot more done.
Another thing guys, ST seems to interest me more than long time but I'm the kinda guy who would perhaps take the girl out for a bite / drink first b4 back to the hotel. What i wanna know is will the clock be ticking if I do this or do u think this gesture is gonna be beneficial to me in terms of winning the girl's respect / putting her at ease so maybe she'll perform better !!!! ;-p

usually the clock is not ticking with bargirls, freelancer etc. It is at soapies, and even then, it is quite relaxed.
Anybody visiting Thailand will notice at once that productivity is not a Thai concept. That applies to the girls as well. Many girls are happy to settle for one customer per night. (Many do not even get bought out that much). There is a minority that will want to get the trick done quickly so that they can get back to their hunting grounds ASAP.
The best thing to do is to ask your love of that evening whether she'd fancy a bite or a drink before hitting the sack. In most case, she will be happy to do that. If not, there are so many more where that one came from ...
And if you invest some time and money into establishing some sort of "contact" between you and your girl, you might indeed get a better performance, and the payoff will be even bigger if you go LT, because you should expect to get a morning call from her as well.
2600 baht, jeeezuz, you can get a very nice room for half that, and a decent one for a third. But hey, If you like waisting money thats up to you. I've noticed that some guys like to play big shot.

Guys I am in dire need of another trip to BKK. How is the weather there in Oct/Sept? (I have always gone during high season before but would like to take advantage of some of the low season pricing - WW mentioned that he paid 750 Bath for freelnc at Biergarten which seems like good deal compared to high season). Two things that I wanted to say. First Be careful! The other night I was at Nana just hanging out having a few beers and looking at the girls. I wasn't planning on going with any of them, but having a good time looking. Well, the 2am closing came around so everybody left and was just milling around outside watching the goings on. ah, I have a condo near there actually. there are a number of karaoke bars. the easiest way to get to that area is to start at the Huay Kwang Intersection. If you're coming from the direction of the Fortune Hotel, it'd be a right hand turn at the HK intersection. There's subway construction work going on now... so you'll have to go past it and make a u-turn first.
Go straight on that road until the T intersection and turn right. Keep going straight, you'll pass the Promsiri Golf driving range (very nice by the way... great place to kick back, drive some golf, and drink beers before going out and getting laid) and Nathong Restaurant (also pretty nice, um.. NON sex related, k?) on your left, and then you're there. The Ming Jai intersection. Look for karaoke on your left and right. My favorites are two places when you turn right at the MJ intersection called ZEUS and one called the Brassiere Counter (on the corner). Some good lookers at both places, you'll have to negotiate yourself (I've had a 2,000, 2500, and 3000 LT out of there and a quick 3 minute drive to my place). Needless to say....a convenient area to keep a relaxation apartment. :P
Both of these are Asian/Thai oriented, so prices are a bit higher and it's not a falang type atmosphere.

ah and Dolphin, regarding real estate.... very few foreigners do very well by "investing" in real estate. if you're buying a house or condo to live in or use as a vacation or relaxation/party place, then it's fine, no problema. but if you're using "investing" term in the sense that you think you'll come out ahead somehow, I'd advise against it. you're very likely to overpay, and if you were to ever want to sell... it probably wouldn't be for a profit as the locals have a feeling/(goal?) that they can't let falangs get a good deal in anything.
i'm a local, and the only real estate I own is my house, my condo, and 1 piece of fairly worthless land that hopefully my great grandkids might find of use. the only investment I have is 2% returns from Bangkok Bank and HSBC. not too exciting.... but I sleep and bang with peace of mind.
What are you looking to buy, if you don't mind me asking?

Anyways, I live in the bay area and have a friend from a major newspaper doing some investing in the
Bangkok Noi area and Some in the Thonburi canal..
He put about 5,000 American dollars down and had to wait seven years... all through a real estate agent .. I guess they rented it out in the meanwhile and then he takes ownership of this 2 bedroom condo. It's probably worth about 40,000 dollars..
But I guess the wait is the drawback. But it's still a good deal. I still see listings in Thai newspapers about 1.5 million baht for 4 bedrooms in the more remote areas but they look alright.
I mean that's still about 30,000 dollars which isn't bad at all for a house investment.
I'm a biotech engineer in validation and of course I visit Thailand for the fun and the excitement but I really like to study the interaction between some of these people and Thai women. They are smarter then we think but they can be tricked very easily. I have a Thai girlfriend and she's kewl but at least we're up front about everything. She has her fun and I have mine until we get older... but I feel sad for a lot of these guys that get so attached to these girls...
I really think Thailand's economy has some hope and eventually I would like to start a club out there. I know there's a lot of politics involved and tourist police to pay off, and protection but that's similar to America... everyone wants their share... just gotta deal with it...

My thoughts on politics and protection are from xenophobic concerns in EVERY COUNTRY. Even though I had a really bad near death experience at Nana the other day, things aren't all that bad. Nana and those places are good to go to if you want to drink some beers and oogle some women (and men too- I've gone with there with some thai friends of mine who pointed out some of the katoey's and I was shocked!), but you really do not need to pay for sex here in Asia. Especially Bangkok. If you are slightly good looking- or at least not repulsive, clean and friendly, you'd be amazed how easy it is to get beautiful thai girls into bed- without having to pay for anything other than maybe a meal or two. Of course all you cynics out there will point out that there ain't no such thing as a free lunch, but come on- the food here is pretty damn cheap....and even the most jaded of all of you will have to admit that it is much more rewarding to have sex with a girl that you know and like than just some ***** who only wants your money.
In the past week and a half that I've been here in Bangkok, I've gotten laid by 3 different girls that I just met on the street or in a nightclub, plus 2 from Nana (one of which drugged and robbed me, but really I got lucky in that all I lost was a few thousand baht) Oh, and I never did call the other one that I was supposed to go out with the following night b/c I happened to meet a nice 8 one the street and went out with and screwed her instead. It's really not that hard. This weekend, I was comparing with a friend the merits of Thailand and other places in Asia as a destination for the discerning sex tourist.
While I have a quite comprehensive experience about Thailand, I have only ventured a few times in Japan, Hong-Kong, Macau, Vietnam and Singapore. And it is true that, with the exception of Japan, I had excellent paid sex in all those places, just as much as in Thailand.
However, and that was the conclusion I came to with my friend, I get the impression that while Thailand is by far the most accessible sex market for us Farangs, the utmost sexual fullfilment is to be found in Asian-orientated places. Certainly, the skills displayed by the Chinese and Vietnamese girls I hired were definitely higher than the average Thai ho.
It seems to me that the average Farang wants good overall sex, which he gets easily in Thailand, while the average Asian buyer wants more sophisticated care. For example, rimming is now more and more performed in Thailand, but that had been done in the Chinese scene for ever, it seems.
So, assuming this perception is correct, the question is whether that sort of upgrade can be had by a Farang in Thailand, and where/at what cost.

Regarding real estate in Thailand there are other considerations you might want to consider and that is liquidity and alternatives. My tailor in BK is Peter on Sukimvit - quite good been doing it for about 30 years. He dabbles in real estate for about as long. He is currently screwed due to the lack of liquidity. You can get 70% mortgages in the country and you can also with the help of a lawyer get title to the property. The problem is very little is selling at this time and for the foreseable future (so lots of good bargains). So if it is not the perfect beach cottage on Phi Phi or the right apartment with the good neighbors then give it a try with a good attorney. I would use a thai trust or corporation for the purchase but beaware that if you are buying now you should have no desire to sell for the next 5+ years at a minimum. Also renting it out when you are not there is also difficult as there is little influx of foreigners into the country like in China, Singapore or KL - Jim

1. Stay at the Majestic Suites, or another hotel that features your own safe in the room. You can easily and quickly put your valuables and extra cash away.
2.Only drink beer from a bottle. It's harder to slip the shit into a bottle than a glass.
3. take your drink with you into the bathroom, never leave it un attended.

Re safes: At the risk of seeming overly paranoid, I advise all to wipe off the keypad of the safe thoroughly with a damp cloth, before resetting the combination (not applicable to key-operated safes, of course).
Why? Because a dishonest person can wipe something, including just oil off their skin, on the keypad, and then return and see which buttons you have pressed while setting the combination. Even if the same number occurs twice in the combination, it becomes more easily possible to find the combination.
There was a fairly recent case of a hotel employee being busted for this. I believe it was in India and the guy admitted he had been doing it for quite some time (using just the oil from his skin).
Maybe there's a low probability of this happening, but it also costs nothing to prevent it, so why not incorporate it into your safety routine?

So to clarify what happened to me on getting drugged- the long story....
After Nana closed I was just hanging out on the street outside the place, watching the people go by. I like to people watch. I've never paid for sex in my life and am not about to- I'm young and decent looking and really don't have problems getting with girls in general- at home or when travelling. Plus, I'm young AND relatively poor and on a 6 month backpacking/surfing trip so I can't afford to be paying for sex every time I want to get laid. I was just at Nana having a great time drinking and talking with girls etc.
So as I was standing there outside I was getting approached by a lot of the girls that were on their way home for the night- the ones that hadn't picked up customers for the evening. I was just chatting with some of them and blowing some off etc. Two of them, neither of them particularly attractive by my standards, kept on talking to me even though I wasn't very interested in their conversation. They repeatedly asked me to go with them and buy them some whiskey and go drink with them. I was already drunk and didn't need any whiskey, nor was I very keen to hang out with these girls so I kept on saying no. I was trying to be playful though, and told them that they should buy ME some whiskey etc. I was just kinda joking around with them as I was people watching. Anyway, the subject of food soon came up, and as we all said that we were hungry they suggested we go somewhere and get something to eat. We walked just around the corner kinda in front of the 7-11/gas station to the little street food stand there. In my experience in thailand, those places generally have the best food and it's the least expensive. If locals eat there you probably won't get sick and the food is much much better than farang oriented places. And as I often do when I make friends with Thai people, I let them order b/c I don't speak the language and they know what the good food really is. Also, in my playing around I said that I would only eat with them if they paid for me, although it is usually my custom to pick up the tab- a great meal for 3 people at one of these street vendor places normally only runs about 150-200 baht tops (it's about 40baht for $1 US- so that's about $5 at the most). So they ordered a couple of dishes and rice. One of the dishes was a soup. We all ate, but I neither one of them ate any of the soup, which I really like so I had a lot. Now I wasn't really on my guard at this point, and remeber thinking it strange that they didn't eat the soup, but didn't think much of it at the time. I'm sure that that was where they put whatever it was that put me to sleep.
So eating was really the last thing I remember that night- I have a vague memory of being in a 7-11 buy some whiskey (apparently the drug wore down my whiskey buying inhibitions also).
That all happened at about 2:30-3:00AM. The next morning sometime, I don't know when, I woke up in a stange place in the kinda corragated roofed shanty town places where a lot of Thai people live in Bangkok. I didn't know where I was or what had happened- I was still really really incoherent and sleepy. One of the girls from the night before was there and told me to come with her and she would take me to my guesthouse- I was staying in a cheap place on Khao San rd- probably not the place where all you real sex tourists stay. Guesthouses there run from 100-300 baht- it's where travellers and backpackers stay, not tourists with money. It is however a great place to meet real thai girls and not prostitutes- they go there to party and hang out with farang etc. It's where I've met all the other girls I was with while in Bangkok- 2 university students and a girl that owns a business on Khao San rd. Maybe you guys don't call that middle class, but I certainly consider it a step up from hookers....Anyway, I digress. So she got on the bus with me (and presumably paid, b/c she and her friend had stolen all my money the night before) and went with me back to my guesthouse. I don't really remember the trip much other than struggling to stay awake, and then stuggling to walk straight once we were off the bus- it was like I was had the equilibrium of a drunk. Once we went inside my room, I don't really remember anything. I remember her getting into my bed with me and that's pretty much it. I don't really remember having sex, or her leaving or any of that. Although I do remember her asking if I had a condom and I also remember her asking why I didn't use a condom. When I woke up about 24 hours later I found a used condom on the floor- so maybe I had sex with her twice, once with and once without. I really don't remember doing it either way. The guy at the front desk of my guesthouse said that she stayed about an hour. After I woke up I just drank a lot of water to flush out my system, got a massage and chilled. That's pretty much the story. I only hope that I didn't have sex with her without a condom and pick up HIV or somthing like that. I just don't know though....
So in the end, assuming I didn't pick up any diseases, all I ended up losing was 2000-3000 baht, and a couple days of time. These girls weren't hardcore criminals or anything- they just wanted what money I had and didn't seem to want to hurt me or anything. And that's the story. Just be careful and smart, don't carry too much money and you'll be fine.

Again, it's been a while, but as I recall I paid about 1200-1300 baht for the suite when I was there (low season.) It was furnished well enough, but nothing like you'd expect in a suite in a major hotel chain -- it's at best a three-star, and it's clearly family-owned. The owners/desk staff are Indians, though there are also plenty of Thai working there as well, doing rooms, restaurant, etc. Did they try to fleece me? No more than anyone else in Thailand -- naturally everything had to be negotiated but my online reservation was easily accepted and there was nothing untoward on the bill and no bait and switch, and they were fairly responsive to polite complaints. It's an okay place and whether or not you'll like it depends on your tastes -- I don't really like heavily obvious monger hotels, and I rather prefer something off the busy street simply because the noise level is a bit less and I can sleep better, so I tend not to like places on Sukhumvit or other main drags. I didn't find the distance down Soi 8 to be an issue -- there's that funky hotel tuk-tuk, it's still only a few minutes to get to anywhere, and Soi 8 is also right at the Nana skytrain station, so it's easy to get around. If you decide to walk down the Soi during the midday then it's hot, but TIT. There was a nice traditional massage place on the soi, and, yes, there's both a noisy beer bar (which I never tried) and a sometimes active sometimes empty biergarten on it as well.
Bottom line -- there are lots of better places and lots of worse places. I had no big complaints when I stayed there, and would be happy to stay there again, but it was far from the best hotel I was at either in Bangkok or elsewhere in LOS. The best advice is what's been given here before -- book only a couple of nights, so you've got something waiting when you arrive, look around and see what suits your tastes. I've never had a problem anywhere in the world walking in and asking the desk clerk to see an example of a room before I decide about whether I want to stay there.
No, no more BJ at Rosemary's, Nana Plaza, the place with the ugliest girls of the whole complex. That's an old story. Not sure if that exists any more in Nana.

I need some help .... I will be in Bangkok, the first week of November, after a month in Europe, and need all the info you can give me, as this is my first time to Thailand.
I need a hotel close to all the hot spots, for a bout 1000 - 1500 bt per night, that is girl friendly, any ideas ??
Also, from the great posts from some of you guys, you must be able to let me in on the best action around bangkok ??

Single Superior room is 1200. That includes breakfast, a friendly staff, and a safe in your room. It is guest friendly, and 1/2 block from Nana Plaza.

As I said this is my first time to Thailand/SE Asia, so I am not sure what to expect, Nana Plaza is the place to go, is it ?
I heard a friend of mine say more than a year ago a place called the Thermay (?) coffee house or something, if this still exists, is that any good ?
Finally, what is the standard price, in any of these places ?
I know these questions seem pretty stupid to most of you experienced traveller/hunters, but any help I can get, will make my trip even better .... thanks again.

Just found A great hotel. Stable lodge,
Soi 8 right on sukimvit. 990 BHT per night,
plus the 7% VAT. Every room has A balcony, The only difference between the standard double, and the superior, or delux is location. The standard rooms are in the back. I'd rather be in the back because of noise. Pool, pool bar, and outdoor bar b que every night from 1800hrs to 2300hrs. I'll be there in august.

The price in BKK is 1000 Baht for a short time or 1500 Baht for long time.
Thermai is a popular hang out for freelancers. Its a stuffy basement full of mostly drugged out women looking for customers. I don't like Thermai much. The atvantage is that if you take a thermai girl you don't have to pay barfine. The disadvantage is that if they rob or drug you you have no recourse.
Thermai is on Sukumvit around Soi 23, check this site for good maps http://www.angelfire.com/super/sanukmaps/ behind it is Clinton plaza.

Will be back in LOS and staying in Sheraton (understand it is near Chinatown) next week a for a couple of weeks. Haven't been in Chinatown before, any action worth looking at or places like Nana Plaza (& Angels Disco), Soi 33, Soi Cowboy, Ratchadipasek (hope I got it spelt correctly) and Patpong are still the only places worth hanging out?
Also, is Sheraton girl friendly? I will also be staying in Sathorn Mansion the 2nd week (don't ask me why) because of work requirements. Is it girl friendly as well?

There are two Sheraton's. I assume you don't mean the Sheraton Chao Phraya (on the river) and you mean the Grand Sheraton Sukhumvit. Great location, great bar on the 1st floor (Rivas), I don't know if the hotel itself is girl friendly or not. I'd imagine not, but I remember some posters saying that they didn't have any problems.
Generally, as in many situations in the LOS.... the locals (in this case the hotel receptionists will harass who they think they can harass). If your girl looks like a street hooker, then she'll have a higher chance of getting harassed. It pertains less to you (as falangs are usually given priviledge whether they be dressed in 3 piece suits or the standarad flip flops, shorts, and Hawaiian shirt worn over the Hard Rock Cafe Bangkok T-shirt). If the girl is dressed fairly decently (as I know many soapy girls who also freelance by phone who don't usually encounter resistance because they dress middle class), then she is less likely to have a problem getting up to the room.

oops. hehe. the Sheraton near Chinatown (Yaowarat) is the one on the river (Chao Phraya). It's nice, but I'd say the only reason to stay in that one is if you have business in Yaowarat or Sampeng. It's a bit further away from all of the fun stuff. There's some entertainment in Chinatown... but it's hard to find and generally not worth it (I find it mostly directly towards an older 60+ clientele). The real estate per square inch there is way too valuable and most prefer to do general trading and finance type businesses there as opposed to touristy entertainment.

Take it from me man, Sheraton Sukhumvit is definitely girlfriendly hotel. Never failed for my part to bring the girls there everytime/each time I'm there. The good thing about the hotel is if you want to avoid any harassment/embarassment, just use the ground floor entrace lift to bring the girl back to your your room. Use the Rivas (disco/pub at ground floor) entrance then straight to the lift. This will bypass the lobby altogether and except one security guy at that groundfloor you will not have any problem bringing the girl.
But my advise will for you to use the JW Marriott. Almost same price, girlfriendly (you will still need to pass the lobby but no one will stop you from bringing the girl) with great advantage of being near to NEP. And the room had mirrors beside the bed - I guess this has to do do with that one purpose. Knowing you from your FRs, NEP alone should be able to cater for your fantasy. Last time I was there I took two girls from Rainbow 3 -(big boobs everywhere)- and the JW Marriott security didn't stop us at all.
