The trick to paying less for the chicas is to NOT go to AB on Friday and Saturday nights.
Also, when you are dealing with the chicas, and they refuse your $40, just walk away. If you do that a few times, the chicas will get the message that you aren't just another sucker, and some chicas will begin to accept your offer.
I went to madonas and beverly hills. It was early, a/b 5-6pm so the selection isn't great. No cover charge at both places.
At madonas, 3 bucks/drink (I had a coke), 10 for da ladies. Lap dance is 5 bucks at the table. 20bucks half nude in the back room touch anywhere. :) 40$ fully nude. I didn't go for the 40$ dance, b/c I don't think they can possibly do more. There was about 3-4 dancers that are in the 7-8 scale. Remember it was early.
Beverly Hills. Don't go! It reallly sucks.
I dropped a/b 70 bucks at madonas. The last time we went to strip clubs in OC, wasted like 300$. Next time, i'm taking my boys to TJ.

Hi. First time user here. Very educational site. I get down to tj about once a year--will be there in Dec. In the interest of safe sex, usually limit myself to strip bars if they are nasty enough. In tj have always gone to Peanuts and Beer, just out of habit and laziness to explore further. The "Famous" Tania provides good service but you don't want to be spending $250 for it when you can get equilanets and better for a much cheaper price. Hell, she been working at AB recently and she's much cheaper when you find her at the club. I don't know if you realize it, but she is a bit older than most of the other girls. They sometimes have a cover at AB when it is very crowded. It is to slow down traffic into the cllub and insure that everyone who goes in pays for at least one drink instead of just taking up space. During the holidays it still can get crowded because it fills up with pochos who have come back to TJ to visit their families. It is true that during the holiays a lot of the girls high tail it back home to be with their families.
I will be taking a one night tour on the clubs in TJ on Thursday night, Nov 14th. Arriving at San Diego Airport in late afternoon then heading straight south of the border. WIll be spending Thursday night in TJ.
Would like to hook up with another as there is safety in numbers.

your experience at caesars and carribean sounded pretty good to me. where are these clubs relative to peanuts and beer (just about the only place I know)? And by comparison, is p&b much tamer and much more expensive, or are the lap prices negotiable at all of these places? Seems to me they want $30 or $35 por uno at p&b. Good grinding and touching but not what you got, at least from my limited and less satisfying experience.

Admittingly, i've been to TJ one too many times over the past 3 years. Lot's of great memories, and although many things seem to stay the same, every experience for me has been different. I recently returned about a month ago after about a 1.5 year absence. It sure hasn't changed much, although the price for the rooms at AB went up a buck, but who can complain. In my experience, the women at AB tend to give you a better time, and often times they have women that are just as hot as in CC. I think a lot will agree, often times the real hotties have pretty bad attitudes when it comes time for action. Once you get to know the clubs a little more, you'll find that some girls work at both clubs. I haven't tried many of the other bars. I've been to Peanuts on revolucion, that place I tend to use to get primed up, without the crowds. I did manage to take a lady out of peanuts, but it was really expensive, so i don't do that there.
My greatest experience i've had was with a girl i met at adelita a few years back. SHe actually asked me out for a date. I returned the next day, and we went to ensenada and spent the day there at la bufadora...came back to TJ that night..went to a little motel and wow...leave the rest to imagination. If you go down there regularly, you'll find a lot of the women will remember you, and you'll have an overall better experience. Good luck.

Well it is time I belly up and offer a post. I have been unable to break away and go to the promise land for some time, but thanks to my buddy, I made a quick turn-around last Monday. Here is how things went.
Got to AB at about 7pm. The crowd was about a third of what I have seen on weekends and I loved the elbow room. However, the selection was a little thin, but there were a few cuties in the crowd. We did go to CC twice in the evening at about 745 and 930, but it was so dead there and the handful of ladies were in the range of 5-6s, we did not stay. I am losing hope on CC, unless other mongers can tell me why this place keeps getting good revues.
AB was even a little light on the attractive girls. We left by 930 and there was never anything that I just 'had to have' like trips in the past, but it is always nice to be in the fun zone.
I did have a great conversation with a local (but formerly US citizen). He said, if you come on weekdays, it is often worth going between 12-5 for the hotties who work there but tell their families that they work regular jobs.
Monday night was not the greatest, I will continue to go on weekend nights and leave the Monday-Wednesday nights for the locals and old guys.

thanks for the feedback fhm, mario, agl, and cjerk. you are right about p&b mario. i group it in with madonas in that they are very stringent about bargaining on couch dance prices. since carribean, pussycats, beverly hills, lord black, et al jump at the dos por veinte, madonas and p&b are not typically on my visit list. also sans souci, bambi's, p&b, marrakesh etc. have too many tv's - and i don't mean televisions. i do occassionally go to p&b though as it seems to be the earliest club to ramp up on weekends and you can't beat it's uniquely sleazy ambience. it actually used to be my standard mario, until i discovered nastier and cheaper alternatives.
agl, it has been my experience that most of the hobbyists and revelers in tj stay on the american side. there are ample hotel options in tj well detailed here although i can't recommend any based on personal experience.
howdy fhm, both caeser's and carribean are on the north side of revolucion. you can't miss carribean (right next to animale dance club) but caesar's has more of a traditional restaurant/bar front and only opens the adjoining strip club after dark. mario, carribean is to the east of p&b, and caeser's is to the west.

left the hotel about 8pm on friday night. for a change, cabbed in to lord black, way up the hill (about 8 blocks?) further west on revolucion. the club is owned by the same folks that used to own the now defunct (and wantonly debaucherous) bolero. selection was pretty good, although not many stunners in the crowd. after my two pacificos, got a dos por veinte from a mid-twenties with a rock hard body. definitely nice, but she wanted $60 plus room for fs and that is not really my gig. headed down towards the main action on revolucion, and then got a bright, yet somewhat fateful, idea.
why not stop by brisa's pharmacy and augment the fun with a little oxycontin? i stopped in, was immediately recognized by the pharmacist after my one year abscence, and he asked how many i wanted. i got five for $50 and crushed and snorted two of the 20mgs for good measure. alas, vice #2 then proceeded to drown out vice #1 for most of the evening. i drank a few at carribean and was surprised at how few hotties there were at 9pm. not giving much of a shit at this juncture, i crossed the border and reveled in the heroin-like affect of the oxy's for the rest of friday and saturday, actually spending most of the time awake playing playstation in my hotel room. damn drugs. i'll be back down tonight, and promise to remain better focused for purposes of this forum with good thursday-monday reports.
I know I could reaeach the forum and probably find this info, but off the top of your head, are there any decent hotels near the zone that does not check if you are bringing the chicas in? I know it's the local custom, but something about them telling me who I can and cannot bring in, and then paying extra, goes against my general princibles. I want to spend the night and use my room as a base of operations. Any ideas? Also has anyone ever been able to pull off a "long time" type of deal? It would be fun to not have to rush.

La Villa Zaragoza is a pretty good place. Very similar to American joints. It is located on Madero. The parking is better than at the Hotel America (Negrete & 4th) but both hotels are similarly priced and have similar accomodations but the bathrooms are nicer at LVZ. If you are not driving (no parking lot) I recommend the Nelson at 1st and Rev since it is not bad, is cheaper than the previously mentioned two and you can walk to the clubs from it sinnnce it is right smack dab on the border of Centro and Zona Norte. The staff at Cascadas are slugs. They are always trying to pull some kind of scam and they are generally uncooperative when you need something like a get a lightbulb replaced.Though there is no television at Leyva and is quite noisy, it is preferable to stay there than at Cascadas since it is easier to get a girl from Chicago to go there than it is to get a girl from AB into Cascadas. It is also cheaper than either Cascadas or Hotel Coahuila. The rooms are very small but adequate for what you'll be doing there. Also, get some of the CC and AB chicks live there and you'll seem them hanging out by their rooms smoking and lounging during the day. The skanks living and lurking at Cascadas are generally a lower breed than those you'll find working the AB/CC scene.
does anyone know of any bars perhaps a few minutes from the main strip where there are young chicks that don't charge too much? Or is ti better just to stick in the strip? How much do the girls go for in those regular bars?

Just returned from Tijuana. Here are
some travel tips if you are arriving
from the north by car. I learned these
things by making mistakes and not by
doing these things myself so a
follow-up from someone else will be
in order. The easiest and least
expensive way to get into TJ is to
park at or near the Beyer Street
trolley station and take the TJ bus
which leaves from there now. DONT
GET ON THE TROLLEY - GET ON
THE BUS and it will take you into
TJ. The bus used to leave from the
San Ysidro station and enter TJ but
no more... now it leaves from the
Beyer Street trolley station.
I have no knowledge of how to
catch this same bus back. Someone
else please follow up.
I caught the red bus back from near
the Jai Alai stadium at 6th and
Revolucion. The bus station is
caddy-corner from Jai Alai and leaves
every 20 minutes from I think 8 in the
morning to 9 at night. Cost is
us$1.50.
I had considered walking back to the
border but when the bus arrived at
the border and I saw the extremely
long line snaking for at least a half
mile back from the border I was glad
I took the bus. The bus has an
express lane for clearing customs and
we still waited for a good 10-15
minutes to arrive at customs once we
reached the border. If you have
parked at any trolley station and are
taking this red bus, catch the trolley
at San Ysidro. I made the mistake of
getting back on the red bus after
clearing customs. The red bus takes
you about a mile further to a west
side (of the freeway) parking lot so I
had a hike to get back to the San
Ysidro trolley station
Adelitas was cooking. Chicago Club
less so.
I had a great time.
Will I do it again? Yes.
Will I do it again soon? No
For me, living in Los Angeles,
considering the distance, time, cost
and other factors, a local AMP is a
better option and you get to sleep in
your own bed at the end of the
day/night.
TJ overall was dead this weekend due to the Rain.
Saw the killer blonde pair at Chicago, but didn't get near them.

I just got back from California tonight. I’m super tired but I have a busy week at work and I fly to Mexico next weekend to visit my novia so I thought I’d post while my mind is still relatively fresh. First of all I have to tell you what a class act “Slick1” is from the CH board. If any of you get the chance to hook up with him in Tijuana then do it!
Here is how my journey to TJ began. Last week I was talking to UWPhoto on Instant Messenger (we chat online just about everyday). I am very close to making Gold Status on American Airlines so I decided I should go ahead and take a few trips this year. I would have easily made Platinum Status but I took a few trips to Buenos Aires this year and it was through Priceline.com or Hotwire.com and didn’t get any miles. Anyway, I went on www.travelocity.com. They have “last minute deals” on most major cities. Check it out. I was going to go to Boston but wanted to go somewhere warm instead. I found a round-trip fare on American with hotel included near the Gas Lamp District for $390 US total with taxes and fees. I booked it! I’m kind of spontaneous when it comes to traveling. I have been out of town on various trips the last 4 weekends in a row.
Anyway, when I got home that night coincidentally I got a newsletter in the mail from Travelocity. In it there was a coupon for $60 off a “last minute fare”. I was bummed but decided to call in and tell them I just bought a trip and asked if I could get the discount. BINGO. They called me back the next day and said they would credit my credit card $60. So the trip was $330 total. (Enter promo code “newsletter60” and you can get $60 off any last minute fare until December 1st).
Keep in mind I wasn’t going down for TJ. I didn’t even remember TJ was across the border until after booking it. I then posted on the board asking if any members were going to be in TJ. Slick1 responding that he would definitely be in TJ. He offered to pick me up at my hotel. I didn’t even have time to read any of the reports on TJ. I read some a few years ago but didn’t really pay attention to them. Slick1 called me on Friday before my flight and told me he would be in town early and asked if I had a ride at the airport. I told him he didn’t have to but he offered to pick me up.
Before the flight they offer $300 voucher to any that stay until next flight 2 hours later. I was tempted but knew Slick was gonna be at the airport so I decline. I have an eventless direct flight. I get to the airport and hook up with Slick. I’m kind of bummed because it’s sprinkling out. When we get to his car I’m surprised to see a license plate from the State I was born and raised in. Turns out that we grew up in the same area. I would later find out that I had a lot in common with Slick including tastes in girls. Just a super nice, laid back guy that I can’t say enough good things about. If you’re reading this Slick..thanks again!
He drives me to my hotel and I take a quick shower and we head to the border. It’s raining but not hard. He tells me the rain is rare there. Oh well. No heat/air conditioning but he said sometimes he doesn’t even sleep in it. He uses it to put his stuff in. We meet up with his friend who I’ll call Mr. M. Mr. M is a nice guy and an interesting character. I didn’t really have too much in common with Mr. M but a good guy. At this point I’m starving so we go to the restaurant next to Chicago Club. I scarf down 3 taco’s. At this point it is about 10:00 PM. (12:00 PM my time). I hadn’t eaten since lunch. We go to Chicago Club and it’s a pretty nice place. Good layout and not crowded. The selection of girls was ok. A few hotties but most not my cup of tea. We sit down and relax.
I can tell right away that Mr. M and I have different tastes in girls. I also realize that Slick and I have the same taste in girls. Every one I thought was hot so did he. I’m not sure why but maybe they like the club better and the music better. Each place has a different flavor to it. Both places have good looking girls. Adelitas gets a lot more crowded. It’s Friday night and there are probably over 100 girls in the club. Granted most I wouldn’t pay to sleep with but there are easily at least 10 very pretty girls that were my type.
I’m having a really good time hanging out with Slick. His friend was nice too but I got along better with Slick because we had a lot in common and the same taste in girls. We hang out a while. We end up going back and forth to Adelita’s and Chicago Club for change of scenery. One thing I want to point out for newbies is to wear something light. I don’t care how brisk it is outside. These clubs get really hot. The air is stale in the club and it’s really smoky. I saw a bunch of guys that thought they’d be “fashionable” and were wearing wool sweaters. They were sweating their asses off. I’d advise a short sleeve polo shirt or other short sleeve shirt. Also, it was comical because I’d see American’s and listen to their conversations with some of the girls. Some guys were trying to negotiate even after it was evident the girl wasn’t going to move from their $60 US price. I heard these 2 clowns negotiating with this hottie. They were acting like they were negotiating for nuclear secrets for an atomic submarine. The funny thing is they were just trying to get the price lowered by like $5 US. Guys, you’re not buying nuclear arms that are going to save the world. You’re buying 30 minutes with a prostitute. Yeah, that sounds blunt but it’s the truth. These two turkeys sounded like jack asses and the girl laughed in their faces. Just my humble opinion.
Later in the night I ended up seeing another girl. Her name was Norma. She was a cute brunette that Slick told me he had his eye on for a while. Before I went up with her I wanted to thank Slick for taking me out. I tell him to pick out a girl and that I was buying him a session. Before the trip a bunch of guys I know that have been to Buenos Aires with me at one point or another tell me I’ll hate TJ. Compared to BA they told me it’s a dump. I gotta tell you that you can’t compare the two cities. It’s like apples and oranges. I make the most out of the situation I’m in and I did that in TJ. To be fair though, Buenos Aires is a paradise. Everything about the city is awesome. The people, the city, the scenery, the restaurants, the taxi’s, the girls, the sessions. TJ is not like that. There is nothing pretty about TJ except the ease of getting laid. Those of you that know me know that I like giving comparisons. Slick liked the way I described TJ. I told him that, “TJ is like going grocery shopping at 7-11”. Know what I mean? You know when you need groceries and make due and go to a 7-11 or convenience store for milk, bread, etc. Sure they don’t have everything a grocery store has but it has the basic essentials. Plus, they sometimes have goodies like tons of junk food, etc. that you crave. TJ is very similar in this regard. Cities like Buenos Aires on the opposite end of the spectrum are like those “Super Targets”. The ones with full sized grocery stores, bakeries, Star Bucks, E-Trade offices, Film lab, etc.
I didn’t “hate” TJ. Quite the opposite. I liked the place and I’m sure I’ll be back. The good thing about TJ is it’s so damn easy. If I lived in San Diego I’d probably hit it as often as I could.
Damn it’s late. This is taking longer than I thought. I’ll finish the rest tomorrow. I will tell you that I had sex with 4 girls the following day. I saw 6 girls in 2 days. If you think that’s a lot. Slick saw 6 girls!!! More later.

Saint, I wish you would of let more of us know you were planning to come to TJ. I hate going on the weekends due to the crowds but would of really liked to meet you. I've often wondered what you'd think of TJ compaired to BA's. I understand how you got this idea of TJ in your head but I'm happy you didn't totally hate it and if you decide to come back let me know and I would recommend to try to make it during the week, at least on a Thursday. Plus if you come on a Thursday that would give you more time to see the better part of TJ. The only parrt you got to see on your visit is the worst area. Imagine visiting a city like Los Angeles and the only area you went to was Compton. It's not fair to judge a place on such a short trip. And I also feel sorry for the guys that can just make it to TJ a couple of times a year, because I think most of us that live in the area are very lucky due to the fact that we can go on a Monday or Wednesday and get the girls all to ourselves,especially those of us that are going a couple of times a week, or the really lucky ones that actually have Apts in TJ and can go everynite. I just hope you give it another try and let me know when you do. And if you make it down for a couple of days I'll take you to another great spot where the action isn't rushed at all and it's alot more laid back.
Thanks for the nice post "outofthegame". This trip was a last minute thing. I didn't even know for sure if I was going to TJ. Also, it seems like whenever I post that I'll be somewhere many people want to meet. Sometimes I like big groups but sometimes not. I would definitely like to hook up with you in TJ. Ok. Where was I? So, it’s Saturday and it’s still raining out. Slick and I wake up. We each take a shower then go towards the border. We stop at IHOP and eat a pretty good breakfast. We cross the border again and we are in Adelitas by 1 PM. He introduces me to his good friend, Michelle. She is a sweet girl. We weren’t there too long when all of a sudden Michelle tells me that she has to show me something. This girl speaks really good English. I thought she was taking to introduce me to her friend. We go to their hotel rooms and I decide to take a chance and see if Sakebomb is registered. I know his first name but not his last name. I ask the front desk and she goes down a long list of papers. No luck. Then on one of the papers he is the last one listed. Not a full name but the equivalent of “Sake” USA. I get his room # and proceed up to his room. I get there and the maid is cleaning his room so his door is open. He is sitting at a desk. He sees me and looks really surprised. He was curious how I found him. LOL. He hasn’t showered yet so we decide to meet in like an hour at Adelitas. It was good to see him again. I knew in Buenos Aires that I’d hook up with him again in some destination.
I decided I wanted to get a room and stay in TJ tonight. I had already paid for the room in San Diego as part of the package. We checked out the hotel next to Adelitas. It was called Hotel Las Cascadas. They had a HUGE hot tub room for $65 US a night. I had the guy show me the room. It was HUGE. The hot tub was big. I decided I’d book a room here. I didn’t need a hot tub room because I doubted I’d use it. I booked a 2 bed room for $40 US a night. They had a single bed room for $31 US.
The interesting thing is this hotel has two exits/entrances. One from the Adelita’s side of the street. And one on the alley on the back of Adelitas where the streetwalkers hang out. Slick and I walked down the wrong side of the street and ended out by the alley. We walked down the street just to see what it was like. I snapped a photo so you can see what it looks like. Immediately after some guy saw my flash go off he told me it is illegal to take pictures on this street. He told me if the cops saw me they would take my camera and fine me. Then he kept following me telling me it over and over. I gave the guy $1 and told him thank for letting me know and that I was a rookie. He went away after that. I’m not sure if he is right or wrong.
It was about 5 PM or so at this point. We met up with Mr. M and two girls (Lorena and Erika) that they were friends with. Erika was kind of shy but Lorena was a character. This girl was funny. I snapped a ton of pictures of the two so you can see. Neither is really my type but it was fun hanging out with them. We went to a nice restaurant at some hotel. We had dishes like Prime Rib, Chicken, Shrimp and Fish. This place wasn’t cheap. I think the total with tip was like $160 US. At this point I’m feeling really bad because I wanted to meet up with Sakebomb. Slick and I were gonna head back to the border and to my hotel so I could check out and get my stuff. My plane left the next day at noon so I needed to get all my stuff. Well, after dinner the girls want to hit a strip club on Revolution Street. I wasn’t really up for this but we did. We hit a club called Sans Souci. I didn’t really like the club and none of the girls were my type. Plus, I couldn’t understand why guys would want a table dance when they could get the real deal at Adelitas or Chicago or the other clubs. Oh well..to each his own.
We leave there and I’m wanting to go back across the border so I can get my stuff and hook up with Sakebomb. We finally end up near Adelitas and Mr. M wants to go in to confront some girl that he loaned money to. He spent a good portion of the weekend complaining how this one girl owed him several hundred dollars. Not to rip on him but my personal opinion is if you are foolish enough to lend money to one of these girls then don’t expect to ever see it again. Yes, there are special exceptions but for the most part I think you’re kind of stupid if you assume you’ll get it all back in a timely fashion. I got tired of listening to him complain about the money and finally told him he was probably a bit foolish to lend it to her in the first place. You know what they say….never loan money to friends, relatives and add prostitutes to the list.
We go into Adelitas where he is talking to this girl. I look for Sakebomb and I see him! He tells me he has been waiting for me since 5 PM. It’s about 9 PM at this point. I feel very, very, very bad. Sakebomb is a really easygoing guy and I hope he isn’t mad at me. He seems ok. I tell him I’m gonna go across the border really quickly and get my stuff and check out. We plan to meet up at 10:30 PM at Chicago Club. I get to Chicago club with Slick about 10:45 PM. Sakebomb is no where to be found. We went to Adelitas to look for him too but couldn’t find him. I finally decide to wait at Chicago for him. Slick even went to Adelitas a few times to look for him while I was at Chicago. No dice. I feel bad that we don’t hook up. I wait at Chicago for about 40 minutes and then decide that Sakebomb isn’t showing up.

We cross the border and there is a small line. It was interesting because you can rent a bike for $7 US and avoid the line. You still have to go through customs but there is a separate line for bicycle riders. Everything in this city is about making money! I swear. LOL. I had a great weekend. This was one of the most fun weekends I’ve had in a long long time. Again, no Buenos Aires but a different kind of fun. Guys that live in Southern California are lucky to be so close to this action.
After visiting TJ though it makes you realize how lucky you are to be an American citizen. Guys we live in the best country in the world. Never forget it.
** P.S. Even though TJ is a relatively cheap place to go if you only see one girl. If you see several girls during the weekend it can all add up. I brought $1000 US with me for the weekend and I only brought back about $200. So I spent $800 on 6 girls, food, my hotel in TJ, taxi's and drinks for me and the chicas. All in all it was worth it though. I'm sure you can do TJ for much much cheaper but I don't think it's about how much you spend sometimes. I think it's about having fun and I have fun in my life. Life is good.

Visited the zone on Sat night. Stayed at El Tejano, about 1 block west of the zone, within walking distance. $36 for 3 people 2 beds, clean with a working bathroom and t.v. In addition, the desk man said no extra charge if I could find a girl to come up to the room to stay the night.

They tell me they are detaining me for having alcohol on my breath. They drive me around for 20 min while they roust the hookers and find out exactely how much $ I have left, they take half or $50, for no reason at all and then drop me off. Although they were driving a police car I have doubts that they were real cops. The worst part is I missed my 6am appt with the girl from the bar.
After 20 years of trips to TJ, and never having any problems, I have been mugged by the cops on 2 of my last 3 trips this year.
My advice, dont worry about the girls or the criminal element in the zone, instead worry about the cops who are the real criminals.
Hello all...I've been a long time lurker and figured that it's way beyond time to start contributing some info. First of all, I would like to say that it was this and another board that gave me the info I needed to make my first venture down to TJ (I live just north of LA) back in 1998. I would have never been able to find the pleasures of TJ without this information and want to thank everyone who contributes...the information that is provided here is golden!
I have been to TJ about a dozen times since '98, with my latest trip being this past June. I have been with the famousa Tania a number of times and will agree with those that say that she is the best...I've never known a creature that exudes as much sexuality as this incredible woman. My first visit to Tijuana was last weekend, and it turned out to be everything I expected, and more. Thanks to everyone who has posted, as the information provided some good tips. I'll post my experience in hopes that it helps other new TJ visitors.
We stayed at the Hotel Villa de Zaragoza, just off Revolucion/7th. For the two of us, it wasn't much of a walk to the Zona, but it may be too far for some guys. It rained on and off, and the sidewalks were muddy and sometimes very slippery.
Avenue Revolucion and the Zona are very interactive. People confront you with offers for taxi rides, to lure you into restaurants, shops, pharmacias and clubs, and children sell chiclets or toys. You simply cannot walk down the street and be ignored.
After checking in at the hotel, we hoofed it down to the Zona. Went through the alley, and found there were many more girls than I expected. There were probably 40 or more girls along the alley in spite of the rain. Our shirt sleeves got stretched out as they tugged on them. But we kept moving, going around the block to Adelitas.
What more could I say about AB? It's all been described well in previous posts. Great place to hang out.
Chicago Club was quiet until we got back in the prime of the evening, then it was rocking. The New York Club was quiet even in the prime hours, but there were two knock-out dancers working there, along with assorted other chicas. La Tropa had the wild women, with very physical lap dances - they had a habit of knocking over tables and beers. We went into Miami Club, and there were a couple of nice dancers, but then they switched over to couples dancing. Hong Kong had a more traditional strip club atmosphere, with one dancer after another, but not much other action that we could see.
Back up on Revolucion, we checked out Peanuts and Beer, and found it had way too much hussle. Bought two girls a drink, and all they did was give us a big sales pitch for private dances. We had hoped to be able to enjoy the show a bit and figure out what was going on in the club before spending much money, but the girls would not let us sit back and enjoy. When we declined the private dances, the big fat broad came over and continued the sales pitch. The fat broad was very annoying, so we left our beers half full and got the hell out of there. Some nice looking chicas in the place, but the atmosphere was too harsh.
Ceasers was quiet every time we checked it out (three times). Nice looking club, and a few attractive chicas sitting around, but somehow the fact that there were no other customers set off alarm buzzers in our heads.
Went to Lord Blacks - not recommended. They have a cover charge, $6, and more expensive beer, and they try to maintain the appearance of a high-class club. Just one trip to bathroom will show that it's as sleazy as the rest, perhaps more so. The girls were silicone enhanced, and the price for private dances was way too steep for my budget.
With a good beer buzz, we decided to take a chance and walk down the stairs into one of the sleaziest places on Revolucion, Unicorn. The chicas were not the best looking creatures in TJ, but they were certainly fun. I had the best time ever in a strip club, and didn't spend a lot of money in the process. While my friend went to a room with a chica, another chica was giving me dance lessons.
Back in the Zona, there were some nice looking chicas in the alley, and it was hard to resist. Twenty bucks seems to be the going rate, and in the negotiations I asked for "sin ropa" (no clothes). That seems to be okay as long as you ask for it up front. Rooms are five bucks. Don't expect romance here, just a quick lay.
Some observations/questions:
- no one says "thank you" or gracias after a business transaction (including sex). You pay, they deliver, and there's no afterglow.
- what's with the guys on the street who insist on escorting you into a club? Except for Adelitas, CC or La Tropa, we were never able to just walk into a club without someone leading us in. We tried to avoid them, sneak in, but they would see us and pounce on the opportunity to escort us in.
- several taxi drivers offer to take us to the "donkey show" amoung other places. Is there really a donkey show? I have doubts . . .
- In the Miami Club, waiters ask if we are interested in meeting a girl. What's with that? Don't the girls circulate on their own?

Response to secret rob: If you walk, cross the border, follow the crowd over the pedestrian bridge across the river, and walk towards the big arch. Once there, you're almost there. Go west on Calle 1st for one block - you'll start to see a few SW's on the north side of the street, but these are not the best looking chicas by any means. TIJUANA, Mexico (AP) - Stepping off a ship in San Diego, David Provost headed south into this border city, where rowdy nightclubs have lured young Americans for generations. But Provost, a 20-year-old merchant seaman from Florida, never returned.
Nearly three months later, authorities have found no trace of him in the hospitals, jails or morgue. Relatives turned up disturbing clues on their own. His ship, the USNS Bold, set sail without him.
"If David was just out there roaming around, he would have called, asked for money or something," said Pat Provost, his grandmother. "He wouldn't just disappear."
The family in Lutz, Fla., is living in a state of anguish and uncertainty that has become typical for relatives of people who disappear in the chaotic and crime-plagued cities along the Mexican border.
No one knows how many Americans disappear in Mexico. In Tijuana alone, the U.S. Consulate gets about 1,200 requests a year to find or check on U.S. citizens. Many of these requests are quickly resolved when someone returns from a longer-than-planned vacation.
But "sometimes they never turn up and we never know what happened," said Al Anzaldua, chief of the U.S. Citizen Services section at the consulate.
The citizen services section in Tijuana is busier than that of any other U.S. consulate in the world. On average, five Americans are arrested and one dies in its territory each day, leaving little time to chase down those who have vanished in the sprawling metropolis.
Mexican authorities can offer only limited assistance. In Tijuana, state police are overwhelmed with a high murder rate and a large number of missing adults.
Some families with missing relatives also file missing-persons reports with the San Diego police, who can do little more than check hospitals and contact liaison officers in Mexico.
"It's another country. Our jurisdiction ends at the border," said Kathy Bolen, an investigator with the missing-adults unit of the San Diego police.
The reports Bolen receives tend to involve men who were last seen in the strip clubs and discos along the main tourist drag, Revolution Avenue, or the even seedier Zona Norte, where prostitution is practiced openly and alcohol is served all night.
Provost's family fears he has been the victim of a crime. Authorities acknowledge the possibility, given the dangers of the border city, which is the base of operations for drug traffickers and immigrant smugglers.
"All kinds of things could have happened," Anzaldua said. "You get everything here from homicides to drug overdoses to all kinds of crime."
In the city of approximately 1.5 million people, there were nearly 300 reported homicides last year, many a result of Tijuana's role in the cross-border drug trade. Nearby San Diego, with a roughly equal population, had 51 murders during the same period.
There have been so many problems over the years that the Marines and the Navy now require junior enlisted personnel to get permission before heading south of the border. They are also urged to travel in groups.
Provost, like the rest of the crew of the USNS Bold, was advised to avoid Mexico, according to police and officials with Maersk Line, the company that operates the ocean surveillance vessel under a contract with the Navy.
A crew member traveled to the edge of Tijuana with him, then turned back when Provost headed off to the main tourist drag, said Bolen, who spoke to the ship's captain. "I think he probably got in over his head," she said. "I don't know where or how."
He was last seen on Aug. 21. Over the next two days, there were a series of ATM withdrawals in Tijuana from his bank account, totaling about $1,400. Then, nothing.
"He would never spend that much money in two days. It's alien to him," said his grandmother, a retired bank clerk who helped raise him.
Someone also used Provost's credit card in a hotel in a particularly notorious section of the city known as a haven for smugglers and gangs. But it was not the seaman's signature on the receipt.
And his driver's license arrived by mail at his parents' home in an unmarked envelope, bearing a San Diego postmark.

I've not noticed that but the overall service, IMHO has taken a great nosedive. Even girls I had some very nice experiences with don't seem to be as good anymore. Maybe I am just burnt on the whole TJ thing and need to lay off for a while.

If you are going to cross on Tuesday then you may be able to get a room at Hotel Coahuila, the active trick pad for AB. If not there, you could try either Leyva near CC or Hotel Cascadas 2000 which is also near AB and right next door to Las Chevalas on the Coahuila side and Miami on the Callejon Coahuila side.
I never get a roommate because I like sleeping in rooms with other guys and its cheap enough so you aren't going to be saving a fortune by getting one. Plus, if the room has a key for you to get, it'll be the only one so you got synchronize your comings and goings which can be a pain in the ass if your internal clocks are different.
You don't need a lot of Spanish to get by in TJ but if you know some it is certainly very helpful.

Its been a couple of months since I have been down to TJ. My third trip since July (I'm going down with 4 friends, just one is a new guy). I stayed at Las Cascadas last Friday and Saturday. No problem but then again it was Thanksgiving weekend.I've stayed there a few times before but this was the first time they put me on the alley side. I didn't realize they had a "beauty shop" and dress shop for the chicas on that side.

As I said, I found it hard to believe that it was impossible to get a room at Las Cascades.

Some of the street girls are really sweet. Most don't do much more than take off their clothes (that's part of the negotiations) and lie on their backs while you pound away. I have had a few that did a little more, but none that kissed.
I really don't think there is much difference between most of the street girls and the girls from AB with the exception of price and time. For 20 to 25 bucks plus room of $5 if your not able to take them back your room you can get a 15 minute quicky which isn't much different than the 30 minute quickies offered by the AB girls for $60, plus the $10 to $11 room fee plus the tip for the cleaning guy. On a per minute basis, it pretty much costs the same assuming $30 for 15 minutes with the street girl and $71 for 30 minutes for the AB girls. ($2 vs. $2.36 per minute).
The basic difference is that once in a while you will find a gem in AB, or Hong Kong/Miami who will knock your socks off in la cama. Other times, the bar girls will try to finish up with you inside 15 minutes. This has me thinking. I need to write another post. Yep, I have another dumb question!

Actually, this new venue doesn't sound like such a bad deal. On a per pop basis, the street girls in the alley are definately the best bargain in TJ.
On a $/time and quality basis, that may not be the case.
The street girls will ask for $25 plus the $5 room fee for 15 minutes. That works out to $2/min. Most of these girls just lay on their backs and stare at something on the cieling while you pound away. No kissing, no chulpa los pechos, no figure insertion, no real interaction. I still like the street girls for a quick pop to start off my TJ day.
The AB/CC/HC-Miami girls will ask $60 for 30 minutes plus $10 for the room and a $1 tip for the clean-up guy. That works out to about $2.36 per minute. Some of these girls will act like the street girls (No kissing, no chulpa los pechos, no figure insertion, no real interaction) and try to finish you up in 15 minutes. ($4.72/minute) Others can be great. DFK, DATY, BBBJ, and a total GFE. It depends on the girl and how you click with her. I've had a couple GFEs that spent over an hour with me ($1.18/minute). From previous posts, it appears that you could get FS from the Deja Vu girls for $60 on top of the entrance fee. Total cost, $100. On a per minute basis, that is $1.66/minute. Sounds like a bargain to me.
I will investigate this new venue and report back following my trip next weekend. I'll go around 5 or 6 PM when things are still slow at AB etc.

That's pretty amazing. Ether you have not been to TJ in a long while or you are a "very hansome man". I have found a few girls that would take $20; but not many and not during the prime days and hours. I have talked to girls on Friday nights that would not go below $30: I have not taken any of these girls. I must admit that I only ask for qoutes from the cute girls. This trip I plan on being there a Sunday and Monday and I hope I can find a couple of chicas that I knew a while ago (my luck, at least one of them was becoming a "gordita" (but in her case she would go with me for almost nothing anyway - of course that was after buying drinks and propinas for a couple of years in a now defunct bar. I got a room at Hotel Coahuila instead of Cascadas 2000 this week. Friday and Saturday. I was actually surprised to get a room Friday... I checked in about 4:00 PM and the guy at first looked like he wasn't going to give me a room. The didn't have any rooms with keys but that was okay. It was on the first floor of rooms near the Virgin Mary statue with all the candles. Kind of noisy in the room when the music downstairs was up but really not that bad. The rooms in that section have mostly residents as there didn't seem to be any monger trafiic back there except when I brought a girl back myself. I like this type of set up because the towel guys don't bug you for tips. They also don't bug you by knocing on the door when you've got a girl in there either. The room set me back 35 bucks a night but I didn't have to pay every time I brought a girl back so I ended up not spending as much money as I usually do.
ALL ACTON WAS AT AB. Friday afternoon around 4 I picked up Sandra from Mexico City. She has long blond hair. She dresses low key and has a sweet face and extremely nice attitude. She sits underneath the television in the corner by the alternate girls room. Really cute when she screws... keeps her socks on! Small natural boobies. Her left upper front tooth is framed in gold.

I have to agree with you about CC these days. I used to go there once in a while but now it isn't even worth the effort unless you want to see the dancers. IMHO they have the best dancers in La Zona Norte but this does not translate to the best lays in town by any stretch of the imagination.
Also, if you are getting a cab back to La Linea, it is always better to get one in front of CC than AB since they are cheaper.

First time to TJ lat night. AB was packed. CC was light on the traffic. Very different from Costa Rica where I haunt as often as I can. Girls there are mucho more aggressivo. Still, gonna go back to TJ soon. Can any of you mongers describe/name any trophy providers for my next trip? Any that will spend time or travel around like in CR? Any tips would be appreciated.

Often a Street Girl will ask for more $$ for going topless, for BJ, for multiple positions, for going over 15 minutes etc. At AB or CC all that is included.
Veterans often negotiate with SGs. Good service is possible but not garanteed. Usually AB or CC girls give better service, esp. for newbies.

I have never had a problem bringing prescription drugs back over. Do not hide them. Simply show them to the customs agent. I am also talking about normal drugs, not valium and the like. Anti-biotics, blood pressure, anti-fungals, stomach meds should be no problem. In fact the 24 hour pharmacy right before customs actually has some good prices. I show my meds right to the inspector.
As far as the girls not speaking English that's your problem not theirs. You are in their country. They are not expected to speak English! Learn some Spanish basics. I also believe that Mexicans in the US should learn some English.
And I get tired of reading how great and cheap Bangkok and other Asian areas are. Well move there. Basically it's LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Many of us live in Southern California and TJ is just fine. I also prefer Latinas not Asians as well. And prostitution is tolerated in TJ (technically not legal) while in the US good luck. I feel very fortunate that TJ is so close, considering the other options such as illegal US prostitution with high prices or having to pay for a vacation and a long ass plane ride somewhere.
I live 20 minutes from TJ and can go whenever I want. Sure TJ has problems but the upside is still much better than my other options. So quit whining! If Ilived far away from TJ I would probably travel to other destinations. But I love having this adult playland so close! I have absolutely no desire to go to Asia.

The border crossing at 12:00 noon was brutal ! Backed up beyond the signal at 2nd St. So I decided Otay. Road construction near the airport made that a 45 minute side trip, then it took an hour and fifteen minutes to cross at Otay. Of course, that meant I hit some of San Diego's rush hour and the meat of Southern Orange County's. Not fun with a hangover ! Next time I'll walk across too.

I stayted at the Motel 6 next to the Denny's on the west side of the freeway (I5). I asked the night attendent directions to the border and it was easy. Turn right out of the Motel 6 driveway and walk to the first stoplight. Then you turn left and walk two lights. Once you get to the second light you will probably recognize everything. On the way back across you have to walk over the road via the cross walk. The total walk is about 20 to 30 minutes. It is maybe 1 or 1.2 miles from the Motel 6 to the bridge. I booked it online for $33 and change a night. The total tab was about $38 dollars per day after the inclusion of taxes. On Sunday night it was about $35 in total. Overall it was an easy thing to do.
I stayed at AB until it closed Saturday night (Dec 14). The line coming back across the bridge is not too bad at 7am. I am sure there are hotels much closer than Motel 6 but I am from Texas and don't know the area very well.
I would be interested in knowing of a hotel close to the trolley drop off near the border. The next time I'd like to skip the rental car as it is unecessary. There is a bus from the airport to the trolley so there is no reason to drive at all for those that fly in to S.D.
I had a good time on my first visit to TJ as I was very sated.

Sorry about the lack of SG action. You really need to hit the alley, and surrounding areas, during the late afternoon and on the weekends. Also, MANY girls go home for the Christmas holidays. Sorry you didn't think much of Rosa Maria. She's legendary in TJ.
When I decide to spend the night I will park my car of the US side and hoof it across. I stay in one of the hotels/motels on the fringes of La Zona Norte. I'll usually find a quiet hotel for less than $20/night. They won't have TV but who cares? Most of them will not charge extra for visitors as well. When I cross back to the USA, and if there is a long line, I'll fork out $7 and grab a bicycle from the vendors next to the Sentri lanes. This gets me through customs in less than 10 minutes. On the other side there's a Mexican that picks up the bike and returns it back to Mexico.
Since I have a Suburban I always carry a sleeping bag in the back. Sometimes I may not get a hotel and opt for sleeping a couple of hours in the back. Point is I never drink and drive. Too many cops waiting for drunk drivers getting onto the 5/805 freeway on-ramp at 2 and 3 in the morning.

There's a hotel that's a couple of doors up from Chicago Club (heading towards Coahilla). Also, there's the Hotel San Francisco up towards Calle Primera and Constitucion. There's a hotel across the street from Manhattan Club. These places were $20, $18, and $18 respectively. They had 24 hour front desk staff and the rooms on the ground floors either had windows pointed towards a courtyard (that was monitored by staff) or had security bars on them. They were not the nicest rooms in town but they are clean. There are also plenty of hotels off Revolucion that are less than $25/night and will only cost you a $3 or $4 cab ride to them.

I went to Adelita’s during my “lunch break” Thursday. Parked my car on the US side, walked over and took the $5 cab ride to the front door. It was fairly crowded for a Thursday afternoon but the selection was very good.

You won't need a Visa to go into TJ but you're visa back into the States needs to be in order.
A few years ago... even before the 9/11 when I was on vacation in San Diego my Egyptian/American companion (who was born in Durham, North Carolina) was given a hassle coming back into the States because she looked "Mexican" though her English was perfect and she was in possession of an American passport. I can probably explain the freakout thing. Probably she has someone taking care of her kid(s) in TJ and she was supposed to pick them up at sometime before she woke up. She probably intended to leave at 7am to get to wherever at a decent time, but waking up at 9am was too late.
