they are a sort of training schools for many girls coming to RIO
the other agencies are more expensive (from 150R$) and often offer a more expert squad
many girls of these agencies are just part-time workers (the most have already a not-well paid job or make classes in some university)

There is a good lesson for all of us in this statement: cover your tracks.
And since Kanitha brought it up, here are a few pointers on what to do:
1. If you have a version of Windows that supports multiple accounts, create another one just for yourself, and do not give anyone the password. Only use this account for the hobby. Call the account some thing like "business", and declare that you use it store file for business on it.
2. If this is not possible, then make sure you always delete the history and cookies from your browser.

In all latin american countries I've been to, places where tipping isn't standard, as soon as gringos come in and tip, the tip + normal price becomes the new price.

You're imposing your standards upon another country. I follow the "do as the locals do" rule. Do the local Brazilians who see these chicas tip? I don't think so.

I am an FKK expert (spurt!!)....you are 100% correct. Up until Americans started going to FKK in RR, tipping was never done, never expected and not thought of. Sometimes in the Frankfurt M. area, FKK experiences warranted a tip, but again, only because of the American tourist influx for many years in the larger clubs. As a point of comparison, I threw my body in front of the bus and tested a new entry on riosexsite, Gabriela, who had no reviews. See the separate note on her for a description of the resulting tread marks, and why taking chances based on no information other than a photo of great breasts is a bad idea.
These are all “call girls” – you have to call them on the phone; they are not going to be at Help or Meia Pateca looking for guys. They have fixed rates – no negotiation, so if you like to negotiate don’t call them. And (with the exception of Gabriela) they will show up at your hotel or apartment looking respectable, which is a nice touch if you’re staying at a better hotel.
Lastly, a friend persuaded me to conquer my usual aversion to termas and try Jessica at Quatro X Quatro (4 X 4); I’ve added a review of her as well.
Katia Meirelles failed to show up for her appointment at my hotel; her good reviews are generally from July of last year or earlier, so I suspect something may have happened to reduce the quality of her service. Plus some of the Brasilian mongers have mentioned that she smokes, which isn’t appealing to me.
To summarize, for those who don’t want to read the individual reviews, the Brasilian mongers are pretty good guides. Juliana is a bit different from the others – she seems to be doing this more as a source of extra spending money than from economic necessity, a sense reinforced by her only being available on regular workdays from 10 AM to 7 PM (ie, hours when, say, a husband might be working). I would cheerfully marry her, but I suspect the position is already taken. Very very good.
Ana Luiza and Barbara Torres are both intelligent, well spoken, attractive to very attractive, very customer focused, and do not project the standard “puta” image. You could take them someplace respectable (especially Ana Luiza) and be OK. Plus both are good at their jobs – and this is their job. Like Juliana, very much the girl friend experience.
Karol (and Jessica) fit the “girls just want to have fun” mode: cute, bubbly, fun, without an obvious care in the world other than where to go shopping tomorrow. Where Ana Luiza and Barbara are looking to build relationships, generate repeat business, upsell to a future dupla, network you to their friends, and generally be forward thinking businesswomen, Karol (and Jessica) are there for the moment and the cache.
Layla is a different experience: pure hard core sex. She is the only one who quotes a one hour session price on riosexsite (standard is two hours), probably because even Brasilian guys would have trouble lasting two hours with her. A good learning experience for guys who think they are hot stuff. Has been featured on Zona Quente, a nationally syndicated show on Brasilian sexual behavior, for some of her, um, unique talents. A last note: in late April a number of these and other of the more reputable freelancers raised their prices by 50 reais, which when combined with the weakness of the dollar and euro makes them more expensive than we frequent visitors to Rio are accustomed to facing. Juliana, Ana Luiza, Layla, Katia, and Bruna are all $R250 for two hours; Barbara and Karol are still $R200 (the last two appear to be of mixed racial background, which in Brasilian society means they cannot command the status and price of someone who has the pure European look).

Brief background: graduate of Karla Models sometime over three years ago; age difficult to tell but I’d guess around 26; nicknames of Babi and Ba among her numerous fans. Has fewer reviews recently than some of the others like Juliana.
Corresponds to photos: Barbara is thinner than her photos, and thinner than she used to be. Her breasts are still nice – small C cup – and her bunda is attractive although not quite as large as the classic carioca beauty. A friend talked me into visiting Quatro X Quarto, despite my normal skepticism of termas. Lots of girls there, but not very many that could compare to most of the freelancers I’ve discussed. There was one tall blonde who might have be an 8 or 8.5, but she just stood against a wall looking bored. After an hour of so looking and a bit of flirting, I took a suite for an hour with Jessica, who my friend recommended from a previous session.
Jessica is slender, friendly, fairly dark although not mulata level dark, with a pleasant face and an engaging personality. I have to admit that my personal Rio experience with escort agencies has been limited to Karla Models/ScortShow and CIAplus.
I have tried CIAplus three times (the last two and a half years ago, so this is not current information), and in each case the girls were late, attitude was so-so, and I felt there had been a bait and switch. The girls that did show up were what I think of as generic carioca GDP: slender, small breasts, brown skin, black hair and brown eyes. Attached is a photo from the VIPS Motel (if I did the attachment right) of two CIAplus girls (the two in the middle) with a freelancer on the right end and a friend on the left. The difference in bunda quality is obvious.
Karla Models, on the other hand, I've probably used for ten girls at different times. All showed up when they were supposed to, and the only disappointment was when I insisted on Angelica one day despite the Karla receptionist trying to tell me that Angelica was seriously hung over and probably shouldn't even be working. The photos on their website and in the book are recognizably the same girls as show up, but are clearly touched up extensively in some cases.
My advice on Karla Models/Scort Show, if you can afford the time, is to call and ask for someone known to give good service (Yasmin, Patricia, Keimy Lee if you like them skinny), and ask that they bring the book with pictures that show the faces of the GDPs. Session with her, then use the last 20 or 30 minutes of your two hours to ask her about the other girls in the book. So there will always be a fair portion of the girls who are less experienced, which some people like ("fresh") and others like me don't (I want a professional who really knows what she is doing and does it well).
By reputation 40 Graus has higher quality girls, and I have a friend who swears by them, but I have no personal experience.

My experiences with Karla Models and festinhas have always involved at least as many GDPs from Karla's as there were guys, and I've never faced a switching fee. We did have one festinha where on our side we had three guys with two of our girlfriends who participated to a limited extent (so theoretically five total), and only three girls from Karla's at a time, but we ran two shifts (three girls from 1 - 4 PM; three more from 5 - 8 PM), so Karla's may have considered that six girls. Anyway, my experience has been that equal to or more GDPs than guys gets you off with just the $R100 for two hours plus $R50 per extra hour, and taxi. Personally, I would suggest having an extra girl, as the extras usually find interesting ways to be helpful (like looking at you and licking their lips while sliding a big glass dildo up their ass as you do another girl from behind - distracting but intriguing). For shits and giggles, I tried to figure out why I couldn't click on one of the escorts' mini-banners and get to their pages. It was saying that popups were being blocked for that site, but I had set Firefox to allow popups for riosexsite.com -- The fatal error was that riosexsite.com redirects you from the .com to riosexsite.net , but leaves the .com domain in the address bar, so when you click "allow popups for this site", it doesn't actually allow them for the proper site.
So, to fix that, if anyone has trouble, in the Firefox popup-blocker bar, click Preferences, and Edit Popups... then add riosexsite.net manually to the allowed sites. Now you can see the escorts' data/pic pages. If you're using a different popup blocker, then check how to manually edit it in the program's help function. From now on, I suggest that one visit the site by using the address http://www.riosexsite.net/ , as that would probably remove the confusion.

In my experience, escorts perform as well as or better than the termas girls. The downside is often they are not as attractive as the best looking termas girls. You do, however, get a full two hours which at about R$150 (including taxi) is about half of what one hour would cost in a termas. Yes I think your on the right track with the dress size, even though a size 14 in the US would be rather large I think, not too large but not the size of a young girl. Any time I've looked into these Sex Resort vacations there's one big drawback that kills it for me. You're stuck with the limited amount of girls they come up with during your trip. Give money upfront for two reasons.
1) She's got you by the balls whenever you pay upfront(any country, any gal)
2) This will become a trend within the agency and spread to other agencies or clubs if it becomes accepted.
I have never given money upfront, including Argentina( I have been with some, I dare say model type, high end working gals in Argentina). Again, I have never paid upfront. I wouldn't use any of the agencies for the TLN experience, liked one girl from an agency and asked her for TLN, was quoted 700R, then 600R, then 500R. Explained to her that I could get three girls for that, which she understood. She left me her cell phone number and agreed for 200R for TLN on a different night, might as well cut out the middleman on this. Have seen some ads on agency websites for good deals, but while performance is pretty good with the escort girls sometimes they are hit or miss on looks, and sometimes on personality also.

If you have checked the website, say the name, otherwise say loira/morena/mulatta dependent on your preferences.
Answer: She will say yes, and list names or say no loira/morena/mulatta and then what they have. Then she lists the names.
Just pick one of them, here you can also ask about melones, age, completa, and so on.
Say your name, say the name and address of your hotel, say the number of your room. (Confusingly, your room is your apartamento, even if in a hotel.) Sometimes they will ask the hotel's telephone number also. This stuff you need to prepare in advance, especially saying all the numbers right.
If you want the two hour special deal that many of them have, say "dois horas a ciento real, ta bon.".
That's pretty much it, sometimes they will call and confirm, otherwise they respond something like "beijos" = kisses I think. The girl will be with you in 30 minutes to one hour.
If you get on with a girl, then just ask her telephone number to set up a TLN with her.
Cassiascort had an English speaking operator, but that one has left. Some of the agencies speak a bit of English, so you could just phone around until you get one that does but this will be expensive if you are using the hotel phone. (Well, not really, think one or two real per call.)
Anyway, they want to understand you so it's not that difficult. On the third day of my first trip I managed to do this by saying something like, "garota, mon apartamento, agora por favor. Nome:, hotel address, room number is."

Just back from Rio, so trying to add my few cents worth of stuff to the relevant parts of the Board, so here goes:
Agencies used: cassiascort, scortshow, karlamodels.
Cassiascort: OK looking girls, but all gave enthusiastic performance. Really open 24 hours, once had them send a girl over at 4am when I had an evening with several misfortunes. Nice receptionist that answers the phone. Delivery of the girl takes a bit of time with them though, sometimes up to an hour. No particular girls to recommend, can't remember their names...
Scortshow: Some 7's, but mainly 5's and 6's, one with a pretty poor attitude but I can't remember her name. Recommend Sheena, enormous tits, completa, and really positive attitude. Actually looked better in reality than in her pictures in the book. The first time a girl comes to see you she will bring the book with pictures of the other girls, all girls are completa with this agency.
Karlamodels: Sister agency of scortshow I think, but different book of girls. Some 7's, but mainly 5's and 6's. Had one girl with a pretty poor attitude, and one with very poor attitude from this agency. All are completa, and they will bring a book of pictures with them. Girls tended to show up quickest from this agency, think maybe 30 minutes.
Tip: When the girl is taking a shower, write down the four or five girls you like from the book since all won't work on any given night. Don't do it in front of the girl since it will annoy her, and she won't think she will get repeat business, when you get to her picture in the book, look at it for longer than the other ones since it will make her more well disposed towards you...
And on O'Globo ads: Tried this three times, all were disappointments in terms of looks and performance was a bit average. A couple of friends and I (two of us are married, one not but in a rut) are planning a January visit. It will be a second Rio trip for two of us and we will bring a friend who has not yet been.
