Was in Siem Reap last week so here is a bit of a update. As the P4P scene isn’t as in your face as Phnom Penh thought I would post a few things from my notes.

The main tourist hang out is Pub Street. You will find a few FL here. Just keep looking and make some eye contact. One night I was just having a beer around midnight at a place next to the street. Four girls sat down at the next table and invited me to join them. Midnight is getting late on Pub Street so think they were about to call it a night and just got together for a beer. There is a place named The Temple Bar and Restaurant on Pub Street. Look for FL there starting fairly early in the evening until late. It stays open later than most places and has a tiny dance floor. Check around the back pool table. I pulled from here kind of late after making some eye contact with the girl earlier in the evening. You should be able to arrange LT for $30 or so.

Blue Wave is a short tuk-tuk ride away from Pub Street. It tries to be a hostess bar but the talent level is very bad. Only saw one cutie there in two nights. Nice ST rooms in a guest house very close. $20 total put on your bar tab. You might regret going here with the talent level.

Zone One is a restaurant and disco. It is a little out of the way but not too far by tuk-tuk. Most of the customers will be locals. They have several mamasans and fair selection of girls but stunners are rare. I did not pull from here as I was asked for $60 LT. But when I said no mamasan said “How much you give?”. You can deal here but I don’t know how much.

If you walk out of the Zone One parking lot and turn right in a couple of blocks you will find a Viet brothel. The entrance is down between two buildings and there will be a guy sitting out near the sidewalk inviting you inside. Some of my friends went inside, looked around and left. This isn’t my kind of scene. There were young Khmer guys hanging around the entrance acting like silly middle school boys and I doubt the girls have any choice about being in their situation (just my opinion). There is at least one more place across the street and maybe more on this street. You are out of the tourist area in these neighborhoods but I felt safe enough.Think some of these places have pink lights out by the sidwalk when it isn't high season.

Sok San is a disco and fishbowl and it located fairly close to Pub Street. Went in before the disco was going and a few feet past the disco is a BIG fishbowl with many girls. One of the guys running the place sat and asked our group if we wanted to pick. I asked the price and he said $60 ST <cough>. We got up and left. The disco gets going later and I though there would be FL action. But a mamasan was controlling the action and I didn’t even ask the price after the fishbowl incident. Sok San sort of tries and be a GoGo also. The have a long runway stage and a few girls come out and dance in bikinis, etc.

Martini Disco is not far from Pub Street. A previous report in this thread has a lot of info. They have a few girls and a mamasan. I didn’t try to pull from here. But my friends were quoted the previously mentioned $60 LT so you will have to work hard for a reasonable price.

If you take the road in front of Martini, not the road next to the river, for a short distance there will be a large building set back off the road a bit, on the right side, with a large parking lot. When you go inside you will find a very large room (maybe 80’ x 40’) with MANY girls lined up next to the walls. The place is brightly lit and it seems very awkward standing in the middle of the room in the bright light. We were quoted $60 LT and moved on. But I just didn't like the feel of the place and maybe didn't give it a fair shot. Think the name of this place is in this thread somewhere way back.

So these are the places I ventured. Someone can probably give better details on some of these places. I mostly compiled my list of places from this thread and with a little help from Doug.

I would not come to Siem Reap just for P4P. But if you are here doing the tourist thing there is some action. If you are just here for a short time I would probably try and pull from Pub Street when possible. But it can be an adventure to check out the other spots. You can get a tuk-tuk driver to haul you around to these places (and others) for about $2 an hour. But many of the drivers will get a kickback for taking you to certain places. Probably nothing wrong with checking out some of these places but also make sure you know where you want to go as they may not even suggest some of the other places.

RMWI totally agree, you should not go to Siem Reap just for p4p. You should mainy go here to see the Ankor Wat temple, one of the top 10 wonders of the world. However, this is a tourist town and everything is more expensive here.PP has alot more action and cost is much cheaper for p4p .

RMWOf all the places in Siam Reap I liked Sok San Disco the most. It's the chase man. Sure you can get ST at the fishbowl but why can't you just wait for the evening to get started and go on the prowl. It will happen and the ladies don't look the the other places. I don't go to Cambodia to get Viet chicks. I can get them in VN so why look for them there. Besides the dark skin kind of turns me on a little. But the street action is there for ST but if you go looking you can take them home all night and do whatever. Inviting them for a beer at your hotel is a good start. But go eat first. The beer is in your room right? PP is just too fast and too risky for me. At night don't trust anyone in PP. But in SR you see a TukTuk wearing his vest you can trust him. He'll offer you half day service or full day service to dig up some work but no need. The temples are nice but too much walking makes for a tired guy trying to hang with the young pretty Cambodian ladies.

I will be visiting SR soon for the first time. From what I have seen in the photos here, it looks like it will be somewhat difficult to find women that I consider beautiful. Is there any sort of upscale resource in SR that I might investigate?

Thank you!

Frank,
SR, Cambodia is not exactly the place to look for upscale chicas, but the closest thing would be Pub street, except it's not that kind of a place. You'll see.
You may have more luck in HK instead.

i arrived in siem reap after two weeks in thailand, first impressions were how hot this place is. brutal, far worse than bangkok. stayed at the boret angkor, a great hotel that felt like the green zone after the heat and poverty of the town itself. as always, armed with the info from another forum forum, i had some idea of where to start, so made for martini's about 9 in the evening. place is filled with cambodian teens through twenty-somethings. i was the only foreignor visible, which is a bit disconcerting but i'm kind of used to it. at the door, no cover charge, but about 7 or 8 girls that are clearly unattached. hardly any english spoken, but the mamasan in her thirties as well as staff at the nightclub communicated that the girls were $40 lt. looks ranged from amazing to just pretty good. somehow my radar was up, and i just didn't feel comfortable taking one home. some of them could have been ****, and i didn't see a foolproof way to verify the girls were over 18. not sure why, nothing specific, just a little voice that said be careful, so i listened to the little voice and just hung out for a while inside and outside the club, then left alone.

next afternoon, after the temples and a shower, jumped into a tuk-tuk and said the universal pussy-hunting call to the driver, "boom-boom? " then commenced the mid-afternoon provider search. first stop, a barely-open ktv-type place, opening bid was $100 us for my choice of early-thirties hardened *****s. ummm, no thanks. after driving around for a while, my driver stopped to consult with some of his tuk-tuk driving friends. nothing like listening to a conversation in another language when you know you are the subject. was offered $50 for a girl, sight unseen. umm, no, this is cambodia, that's a fucking fortune, clearly. stopped at another place, girl was in her late twenties or early thirties, looked friendly and sexy, so the negotiations started. they wanted me to pay in advance and do the deed onsite. i insisted on paying the girl, after, and going to my hotel. after a few minutes of this nonsense, i just got back in the tuk-tuk and said, take me back. of course, girl climbed in, no money upfront. got back to hotel, gave driver $5 for shlepping me all around town, and got down to business. girl turned out to be vietnamese, very nice but not really gfe. tight boddy, natural breasts without sagging, long nipples, flat tummy (my favorite! i can get fat chicks any day of the week here in the states without paying). took a shower, she washed me thoroughly, i washed her, a bit of munching (tasted fine and clean), great sex doggy style (my personal favorite). she gave a decent massage after, without me asking, then a second shot in her mouth, then time to go. i gave her agreed sum ($40), both parties left smiling, and watched her leave from my hotel balcony. my preferences are becoming clear, there's no reason to rut in a grubby back room if you have a clean hotel with a/c. and i think the girl prefers off-premises too, really.

editor's note: i would suggest that the author or another forum member consider posting a link to this report in the reports of distinction thread. please click here (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/announcement-reportsofdistinction.php?) for more information.

gad - you'd think that there was a premium price that HAD to be paid in SR. You actually could find out ages by asking - mama won't lie to you - they might lie to HER, but she won't lie to you. You probably could have gotten it for $25, 30 at most

I suppose you might just say "They saw me coming", but you paid high barang price and then some. (of course, the driver got a cut as well, but that's to be expected)

Girls DO prefer "upscale" - to them almost ANYTHING is "upscale"

I will be going to SR sometime in Sept for temple visit and of cos the girls.

Some friends recommended The Villa Siem Reap which seems to be a good and clean place to stay apart from "Sex Tourist Not Welcome" sign on its website.

Any bro ever stayed there before ? any advise on this issue?

Thanks

Many of the hotels in Cambodia have that type of sign, even in the rules chart that hangs oon the door or near the bed.

Temple Bar. On the back, in between the pool tables and near the toilet and the actual bar, plenty of girls. Some very nice, very sexy, some old, some fat. There are usually ladyboys too. Usual price is 20usd longtime, no need to negitiate, unless you take a model-type of girl.

Songkra (?) disco. Very nice, very near to pub st. Great music and dancing place, disco music and sometimes Cambodian pop. Plenty of great girls. If you look for the nice girls (young, sexy and pro) go there. There is a constant show on the lap with sexily (un)dressed supermodel. Plenty of freelance also.

Sometimes we think we chose the girls, but I believe they chose us, smiling and looking, coming to speak, beginning the nice touches, and so on.

So, at temple bar, my first night in sr a girl chose me. Her name aween. (but I have noted her friends call her with another name). Nice face, medium body, big but saggy tits, nice small pussy and ass, long legs, high. Her specialty is the smile, she smiles open and big, explodes in a beautiful and positive smile as soon as she wakes up in the morning. Even if she wakes up with a foreigner dick up her ass. As always happen in s. E. Asia very very gfe. She is my gf for 4 days, and I am her boyfriend. We fuck in the room, and she brings me to her friends, house, market and all.

At the end we were fucking bareback, even the ass. (I know.)

The last 2 days she wants me to come and stay at her home (a room shared with another young shy small wg), cook for me, fuck me at her bed. These girls (some of them) dream of marrying, having a relation, taking care of their husbands. And sometimes they do it for 4-5days to us (some of us). In some way it is sad.

When I left we both are very sad and cry. Take care of them all guys, they deserve it!

I never discuss the prices. Thanks to this forum I always have an idea of the current prices, take the girl, and after the service (be it massage, be it lt, be it st, or else) I give her the average price. They actually accept because the price of the forum is the real actual current price.

In SR the prices are 15 usd for ST and 20-30 for LT depending on the girl'aspect. At least for temple bar girls

In winter the prices go a up.

It is better never ask for the price. You know it, and she knows it too.

Several guest-houses or hotels refused me to bring a girl-guest if she is Cambodian and not another tourist.

It is always better to ask before. Even openly. Even very openly more than once. "it is ok if you bring any girl in, when you want. Just be careful where you pick them from. " was the receptionist final argument at FRESH Guest House, ner the market, stone-throwing distance from pub st.

10 usd night (12 with a/c). Bathroom, fridge and tv. No window. Very basic, but clean and useful.

Mikle, do some research on the guesthouse/hotel here in the forum. I was at the Golden Orange and the frontdesk never said a word when I brought a guest. I think it was $20/night w/ a/c and wireless internet and in-room safe. What more can a man ask for? If I go back to SR again, I will stay there again.

sook-see-bye’s siem reap

disclaimer
this report is based on personal experiences and is current as of august-september 2008. as things change very rapidly in cambodia, please don’t place too much reliance on any reports (inc this one) as details go if more than a couple of months old! it’s nowhere near comprehensive but is written to be as helpful as possible.

orientation
it maybe helps to think of siem reap in terms of a large cross, with the river running north-south and the airport road / national road 6 running west-east. there’s a main road each side of the river, and another north-south road you need to know, called sivutha boulevard, in the western half. as the river bends south-south-west in the south of the city, sivutha boulevard joins it. in this lower triangle is the old market area, including pub street. this is a main mongering area, although monger spots are all over (see pdp section).

free maps (including a 3d map) are readily available. if you’re here to do the angkor wat complex (the best reason for coming), bear in mind it covers a massive area – maybe 20 times the area of the whole of siem reap. most of it is situated to the north of the city.

accommodation and food
i used mandalay inn for a couple of nights and then couldn’t be bothered moving. there are reasonable guest houses closer to pub street that save you the 2 minute walk, but mandalay is just to the south west of this area and has much to recommend it. i’d advise just turning up as they have been known to pull ‘fast’ ones on internet bookers. a double room with fan only cost me $8. upgrading to air-conditioning doubles the price. bear in mind that cambodian a/c in budget places is half-hearted compared to what you might expect. but the staff are genuinely nice, speak a bit of english, and i found the restaurant very good for quality, hygiene and price (dishes $2-3) although service can be slow. contrary to usual custom, they like payment when you start using the room rather than when you leave, but will back down if you feel uncomfortable about this.

the ivy bar has accommodation smack in the middle of old market, so might be a good choice for serious mongering. dead fish tower is an interesting venue and has rooms – it’s on sivutha at the north end of old market but i wouldn’t recommend it personally (good for a visit and to feed the pet crocodiles but the food is poor value and i met people who had walked out after finding rat droppings in their cocktail).

the upmarket hotels (and shops and so on) are mostly concentrated in the northern area of town and also in the (less than convenient) airport road.

the golden orange hotel (run by doug) is in the middle price range. it has the advantage of an english speaking owner and the slight disadvantage of being in the north of the city and so a motorbike drive away from the action. i met him a few times – his moods seem to swing from very affable to down in the dumps (siem reap is maybe no longer the paradise it was).

some of the best old market restaurants are in a narrow street called the passage than runs parallel (south) of pub street. the meric, located in hotel de la paix on the way to zone one, is an incredibly impressive venue if you wanted to show off to a non-pdp classy date. but the food is hardly the ‘best in cambodia’ as proclaimed by guide books – just very good (and expensive).

angkor wat complex
a three day ticket allows you to relax and take it in your stride. do at least one day starting half an hour before sunrise. it helps to know something about it - or instead of being one of the wonders of the world it is a pile of old rocks. “the king’s last song” by geoff ryman is an award-winning novel and also brings it to life over various time periods – recommended. other than that, get a basic idea of the mahabarata on which much of it is based, the difference between hinduism and buddhism (which it was kind of built to establish) and an idea of cambodian history so you realise the greatness of the legacy. the overpriced but very modern angkor national museum also has a large number of multimedia exhibits to get you up to speed. if your interest is minimal and you want a one day pass (longer queues btw when i was there), set off half an hour before dawn, maybe do sunrise at the main angkor wat, then the very different ta phrom (for that ‘indiana jones feel) or an elephant ride up bakheng.

you can hire english-speaking guides. i saw many zombie-faced tourists going, 'ahu, ahu, yes, ahu,' as the guide yaddered away. i thought of someone who had never seen a ball game going to a world cup and having a 'guide' give a running commentary on the rules, why they were running in a certain direction, the teams, the players, <yawn>. some things are worth going to once you have an idea of what they are . . .

pdp overview
the pdp scene is alive but hardly worth making the trip for imo. you can pick up girls all over old market, but bear in mind you can stick out like a sore thumb as the place is overrun with middle-class preppie couples types having an ‘exotic’ holiday. this is a far cry from phnom penh’s walkabout where lecherous mongers are the norm and non-mongers look out of place.

some suggestions –

i) exchange eye-contact with girls in bars or in the street anywhere in the old market area (but don’t assume they are p4p – most aren’t!) eventually you can take them back to your place or go back to their’s. with some reservations, i liked the temple bar downstairs late at night (the pool table area) where you can have several chicks competing over you. the big pick-up joint though is soksen palace, just off a side road on the south west of old market.

ii) walk or take a moto to zone one and then ignore zone one and check out the illegal brothels on either side. some are brightly lit and obvious. some you just go down an alley and look for the action (girls making it obvious they are interested or sleazy young cambodian guys checking you out and letting you in). to get to the zone one area, walk north along sivutha from old market and turn left at the big hotel de la paix. take the second right and carry on a hundred yards or so. zone one is a big night club complex on the right (you’ll see lots of young trendies pulling up on motorbikes).

iii) take a moto (or walk) to dreamworld. this is a large-ish brothel located across the river a short distance from old market. a bit more organised and nicer than the zone one knock shops. cross the bridge near old market and bear left a few hundred yards (as you cross the river, ignore the right fork with martinis and the street to the left along the river, just go straight ahead left.)

iv) just ask your moto driver.

there’s many other places - even as far out as airport rd - but as they change so often it seems almost the wrong approach to try and list them. siem reap is small enough to learn everything in a week anyway!

drugs in cambodia can be a bit hit and miss depending mostly where you go. i’ve seen ‘cialis’ in the mini-supermarket at $20 for 4 x 20mg though.

shopping
in markets, start at about one third or even a quarter of the asking price, or simply ask the staff at your guest house what the cambodian price is for an item you are going to buy. prices in central market are lower than the tourist-orientated old market. add a little extra as you’re a tourist (adding a lot does not, imo, help anyone but it does stimulate greed.) if you want to give some money to a good cause and not a scam, please visit beatocello on a saturday evening - you’ll see signs on the way to angkor wat – this eccentric cello-playing doctor has raised money for five free hospitals and has saved on average the lives of about half a million kids a year. donations of blood are also accepted if you’re skint. http://beatocello.com)

OK, let me try again. Are there any Airlines flying out of HCMC to Siem Reap. There has to be more than only 1.

Don't forget guys, unless you have a good virus software program don't look up PMT Air.

Thanks Christopherd - this is the best report on Siem Reap I have seen in a long time. Good orientation guide and suggestions for Angkor Wat. I concur with many of the details as accurate in my experience there too.

On the PDP scene, a couple comments:
This summer I noticed that there are now girls hanging around in front of Temple Bar and they can be a bit aggressive - any single man walking by gets an offer... that was a little public for my taste, and surprising for Siem Reap.

Soksen is not only a pckup place (the disco) but also has its own brothel upstairs... just walk in past the disco on the ground floor and see the fishbowl to the right... select your girl, negotiate with mama or papasan and then they send you upstairs for the action. Not the cheapest, but maybe the easiest action in Siem Reap. Location is one street parallel to the little side street you take to the night market.

I did try Dreamworld - and I'm not sure of the names, but there are a couple of other brothels right along the same block or so. I was turned down at one (said none of the girls would do foreigners at the time I was there), but accepted at another... (the one that accepted me is right next door to a hotel, if that helps)...

I also tried one of the cheap brothels across the street (not exactly, but within a block or so) from Zone 1. A pretty good selection of girls for $10... not to everyone's taste, but interesting experience.

Great report! Thanks.

Thanks for your comments, Stew2. I agree they can be a bit pushy outside Temple. I personally found them a bit more discrete inside by the pool table. There's one young girl there every night who beats nearly all-comers at pool. She is very hot as well, so I watched her for both reasons! The tactic several girls used with me was to motion me outside in some way before striking a deal. I guess this is maybe because there are a lot of non-mongers frequenting the place. I knocked miss sh*t-hot back, as I was worried about whether she was of age. The girl (24yrs) I took back that night told me that miss s/h was in fact a year older than her. Duh!!! But better safe than sorry. If I'd stayed on in SR I would have tried to make good, but had already planned to move on.

I’ve just come out of the massage place and am feeling slightly heady and also not sure if I had made the right decision. But one thing my brain wasn’t confused about was still feeling horny.

And as I cross over and walk down the street, a leggy Battambang girl accosts me. She’s upfront about having no money but she looks hot. I don’t need much persuading, for better or worse. We grab a tuktuk and head to her place, a sh*thole she’s rented for her stay in SR. She’s half Vietnamese and half Khmer (good looks and attitude plus business cunning – you work out the proportions). She doesn’t really engage much sexually, which is a turn-off after the recent more heartfelt performance. As we leave, dusk is falling and there’s not that many tuktuks about and it’s starting to rain. I pack her off on the first moto that appears and continue walking. What did impress me was that she came back for me having found a tuktuk for me. If she could have been as sweet during sex she might have got more repeat business. But when she offered the same line a few days later I knocked her back.

As a good enough way to fill the day in-between usual tourist stuff, I’d taken two massages, one at Blue 7 and then a better one along the street. Not to suggest any establishment is superior – probably depends who you get. The whole massage routine, right down to the strokes used, seems fairly consistent. Not the best in the world IMO but cheap and available and pleasant. No hint of any ‘extras’ for a million miles.

Except then I’m sitting having some light lunch at an outside table from a bar next to a massage joint. I won’t say which one, not so much ‘cos I promised but ‘cos I don’t think it makes much difference. Old Market is Old Market. Anyway, a girl inside the bar sipping a coke exchanges a coy smile with me several times as she looks up from her drink. Couldn’t tell her if she was on her own or not but eventually get her to come over in a non-committal sort of way. She asks if I’m planning to have a massage. I say I’ve had many massages and ask why she’s asking and does she do massage. She says she might. So I say ‘might?’ or ‘yes’. All this is just by way of flirtatious patter. We’ve been parrying for about five or ten minutes and she says she can have a word with the massage joint next door as she works there sometimes. I go for it.

So upstairs, there’s three massage areas, separated by curtains that let the light through and don’t offer that much privacy. But the massage soon strays from the standard sports mauling. A hand lingering a bit longer here, fingertips going a bit further there, my own hand casually resting against a thigh is not removed. Half way through it gets erotic. She has a look at the door but isn’t able to lock it. Another masseur pops her head in shortly afterwards and my girl tries to make out everything is normal, quickly adjusting body positions. Eventually we have snatched sex with a bare minimum of actual undressing. She seems to me genuinely keen but also genuinely worried about getting caught. Her own juices were running pretty hot. At the end of the hour, I ask, “How much,” and get the usual, “Up to you.” I’m not sure if it was before or after this she asked, “So what are we going to do now?”

It was the perfect opening for a GFE experience. Just invite her back to the hotel. A passionate affair. She probably wouldn’t even ask for cash, at least that was one of the vibes genuinely possible. But I had lots of plans and they didn’t include being encumbered. I give her the standard price for the massage ($6) and an extra $20. She looked a bit taken aback and asked, “What’s this for??” I reply, “$6 for massage and $20 tip.” Possibly not what she wanted (she might have wanted more or else be annoyed at being treated like a wh*re and being paid anything when she was offering companionship).

In retrospect it was, for all its brevity, the most exciting f*ck I had in Siem Reap. I went back to the bar and massage joint a few days later but there was no sign of her. I couldn’t tell if they disapproved and had barred her (she was genuinely, I think, very paranoid about getting discovered) . . . or whether she had seen what happened next and was really pi**ed . . .

Because, needless to say, delightful though it was, it wasn’t really satisfying. Maybe I should have taken her back to the hotel there and then but I had burnt that bridge. So here’s part two . . .

Hello all,

I posted this question in the PP forum, but wanted to see if anyone had any info for Siem Reap:

I've been searching old threads and can't seem to find any info on this. Interested in finding a massage parlor/fishbowl in Siem Reap. I heard of some hotels that used to have them, but i dont have any solid information.

Ideally a parlor that service BBBJ and FS.

I'm heading out there in several days.

Thanks in advance.

The Sok San is near Pub street, 50m down a side street off Sivatha Street, (near Dead Fish Tower), there is a big neon sign.

At the front was a large air con bar with hostesses, FL's and a couple of go.go dancers.

At the back was a fish bowl with 20+ girls, $50 for all in massage! Crap massage but good sh*g, I think it was CBJ.

Hope this helps

Does anybody know if this flight exists?

Siem Reap airlines shows it on their map but then when you look to book there's no flights.

Hi Berny,

I agree with you in that it doesn't seem to exist. I was surprised that the Siem Reap Airways site provides a link to Bangkok Air website for booking and when you get there (the site is much more professional feeling) the only flight to/from Hong Kong is to Samui.

Sorry if you'd already found the connection but it surprised the ****out of me.

Hello Gents,

My first report in this forum comes from my experience in Siem Reap. I visited in early October of this year (2008). This is the first night. I'll report the second night in another post.

Hotel: Golden Orange (as posted on this forum, its guest friendly). Room was modest. Service poor by international standards, but par for the course for Siem Reap. Breakfast adequate, but didn't run late enough or start early enough.

Tuk Tuk services: guys who hang around the hotel will (naturally) try to cheat you by charging you more than the standard $1. Just hand them the dollar when u get somewhere (pub street, for instance) and walk away. I also had one guy take me to the temples; $15 for the first day (Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Preh Kahn) and $25 for the second day (to some distant temples to the north... not really worth it).

The Action

==============

First night: 10pm at Sok San Disco. The female employees working the floor will go with you after work, just arrange a time. But few spoke English. I ended up arranging to meet a 30-something woman that was pimping Tiger beer (more on her later).

During the few hours before she got of work (which was around 1am) I decided to hop in a Tuk Tuk and ask the driver to take me to a local disco. I have no idea where he took me, other than the fact that I know it was some area to the south, then east, then north up some dirt road. It took about 10 mins to get there. On the way, he stopped at a wooden shack in the middle of nowhere. There were about 10 girls inside, many Viet-looking, all will sullen expressions. Nothing turned me on, so I asked him to just take me to the disco.

It was crap. Mostly guys with a few hookers hanging out by the door. The dance floor was a bit scary actually; it looked like the guys who were violently jumping around on the dance floor were ready to rumble. I walked right out and told the driver to take me to Temple Bar. I was worried that he would resist since I only stayed at the disco a few mins, but he didn't. Good man.

Temple was lame, mostly guys by the pool table. All the girls taken (or perhaps they didn't arrive yet?). This must have been about 11pm. So I went back to Sok San to chill and have a beer (draft Anchor for $1).

Later I took the Tiger beer woman back to Golden Orange. I'm not sure why I chose her... she was older than the rest, but had that look in her eye like she was going to suck my cock off. She was also adorned in gold jewelry, which I found really sexy on her cappuccino skin. She let me film video and take photos... I pumped her hard in several positions (condom, of course!); we did some mutual anal fingering, and I shot a wad all over her chest. Then I told her that was enough.

She asked for $40. I offered $20, but we settled on $30. I thought it was worth a little extra since she let me make a porn movie. I do love to have some video/photo memories of my exploits. I attached her photo (post ejaculation!)

Guys,

I was really disappointed on this trip to the Sok San Disco. The place was full of lady boys and drag queens. Yes I mean the kink of drag queens you would see on Santa Monica Blvd. In Hollywood. Tall, big hands, and big feet hiding in some flip flops, ewwww.terrible and they scared me off even though I did see some rough looking FL working there trying their hardest to get customers. I left and went to Pub street and hung around Tower Restaurant and had some luck there instead and took the girl to me hotel for 3 days and when I left she started talking about a visa (hehehe). I said I will keep in touch and call her when I get back to Cali. I hope she don't wait too long. Nice girl she took care of me when I got bad fever, damn mosquitoes. Many people there worried the country will break out in war with Thailand over the temples found around the Thailand/Cambodia border, many soldiers killed but not reported on local news. Place was a little scary on this trip but will not stop me from going again next Feburary when the rain stops and mosquitoes are not in such large numbers.

Have fun all.

HawkHawk,

Dragon Air flies from Phnom Penh to HK from Siem Riep.

you can get a flight to Bangkok, Singgapore or KL to connect to HK.

Last time I was there I just take the bus to Popiet and then train to BKK and fly back to HK.

guides just lead you by the hand - you read a good BOOK and hire a driver to take you around and it's just as good. Understand that there are a group of temples/ things to do including angkor wat itself, bayon, elephant terrace,m the one with all the big trees, sunset hill and that's pretty much all of it unless one happens to be an archaeologist and then one wouldn't be here in a sex site. :)

but then again, I always study where I'm going to be a TOURIST (besides, the driver will know where the girls are that charge less than an arm and a leg - guide doesn't care less unless he gets a CUT)

Well archaeologists like sex too . . . But that aside, to get back to Berny's question . . .

Almost any hotel will supply you with a moto or tuk-tuk + guide. But the thing is they will yadder away and, even with the sensitive ones, you get into information overload very early on. My example was, imagine going to a world cup match with a guide who explained why some people were trying to get a ball in one direction, why others ran after it, why there was a big following for certain players, how the teams differed and so on. If you'd never been to a ball game before, you can't take it in much less experience the emotion of it.

Siem Reap is a nicer place to go than PP as a regular tourist, but the high point is definitely the Angkor Wat complex (which is many times bigger than Siem Reap itself). It is the biggest religious site in the world and central to Cambodian culture.

Here's my tips:
1) Get a three day pass. Even if you take the middle day off. You're not under time pressure and can enjoy exploring. The queue, when I went, is much less for the 3-day than the one day.
2) Unless you want everything served up with the hordes, do the main parts in the opposite direction to the tours - that way you can explore Ta Phrom for instance (the overgrown-with-trees temple used in Lara Croft) with no-one else around. Do it after the main Angkor Wat instead of going on to Bakheng.
3) It is *essential* to get to the main temple before sunrise if you want to make the best of it. This is when you get the photos that all your friends will be dumbstruck over. Set off from Siem Reap about half an hour before sunrise, get your pass, and take up your position outside the pond. Take extra batteries/film/memory cards.
4)Study a map and some sort of guidebook before you go, just so you have an idea of the layout and the enormity of the area. That way you can take charge and tell your driver where you want to go next. (He will deposit you outside each one and wait for you, unless you are paying him as a guide as well.) You can download maps and guides or any of the LonelyPlanet type guides have more or less the same info.
5)You might want to take a hat or something to cover your head unless you plan to take a long break at lunchtime (your driver or guide will expect a break btw). It gets exceedingly hot. Also there are no decent restaurants in the complex so you have to buy mostly snack foods or take your own.
6)A tuk-tuk can be more relaxing than a moto as you can sit back and look at your maps or whatever between stops. I swapped around.

Now to get the best experience, and I've mentioned this several times on the board, you need to emotionally connect. You won't do it with a guide or guide book. The outstanding, award-winning novel The King's Last Song is the reading to have before you go or enjoy while you're there IMO. It will take you from the building of Angkor Wat, the religious, political and cultural upheavals, the importance of Jayavarman VII, and then right up to date with the perspective of modern Cambodians. But above that it is a superb and gripping novel. It makes it easy to imagine the temples in use, specific gates, the significant shift to Buddhism from Hinduism, and brings it all alive in a gut-wrenching tale.

(On another post I've given the contact details for a reliable ex-army moto-driver, but you'll know after the first day if you have a good one or a lazy sh*te. Test their English a bit before you hire them and try to avoid being drawn in to promises beyond one day. The 'day's hire' ends at sunset usually so you have to negotiate separately for about town for pdp, which I found easier to do ad hoc as most pdp is walking distance anyway.)

If after this you still prefer to get a guide, you can at least get an authorised one rather than an off-duty policeman or off-school kid. Check at the museum. (The museum also gives quite a good - if expensive - multimedia intro if you don't read the Geoff Rymans book mentioned above.)

There's not really a hotel at all in the middle of things as far as the temples go. The Angkor wat complex streches a long way north of Siem Reap town and also includes some outlying temples in other directions. It's not feasible to just stroll round - you need transport.

Technically closest are the hotels in the north - there's a good one mentioned on the board - but if you want to be near to the pdp action you want to be in Old Town - Mandalay etc (see my post on hotels somewhere or other) in the south. But it is not a big deal. Siem Reap is very small. Whatever hotel you get you will need to get up before sunrise to make the journey to Angkor Wat. There are no hotels situated in the precincts of Angkor Wat (think national reserve area - building is forbidden). There are some hotels just outside of town and a little nearer but not much point in staying there really - it's only moments difference on a motorbike, you still need transport and why be stuck in the middle of nowhere.

There are lots of different deals and an official guide maybe gets a different rate but if you just take someone who offers to guide you they will need a pass same as anyone else. Your moto driver will take you through the ticketing office on the road out and on into the grounds but not go into the temples themselves.

1) No, all guides going into Angkor provide their own methods of entry so again, do not have to pay them except for their negotiated price for their time showing you around the temples.

2) small group tours could sometimes be arrange with their visitor center or some hotels, never tried it but heard others have done this.

3)Siem reap is the heart of all "action" and they have anything from cheap (under $10/nite) to 5star luxury hotels for over $300/nite and everything in between. Unless its high season, no need to book ahead, just drop into any place and room are generally available (its how I did it twice in the past). Another reason I don't book ahead is because I like to see and smell the place before I put down any payment.

If any of you guys go there and up late beware of a guy named Ross. He laughts alot and smokes from a pipe. The guy party's too much. I tried hanging with him and hit every disco in Siem Reap. Finally after sampling the best of Cambodia I realized it was 7:30 am. We left the hotel at about 10 pm. Good guy but likes others to pay for his gin and tonic. Never did get any pussy that nice because because I don't think he likes pussy! Don 't like men but never showed any interest other than partying. Good night of drinking and s***ing out the best Cambodia (hehehe).

3 days of temples is too much if you ask me. 2 days is better and hang around Pub Street and have some beers.

For you guys that like to wear shorts, beware of the mosquitoes Got fever for 2 days I think because of them and if it wasn't for the woman I met I would have never made it back to VN. Woke up in the middle of night wanting more but instead shouted to me I was on fire. Had wet towels on me all night. Sweet woman to take care of me. A true GFE experience. So beware. Don't wear shorts.

Yeah, I think you're maybe right.

On hotels, Mandalay is a good option alongside the pdp area - cheap, good hygeinic food at $2, girl friendly of course, and some English spoken among good staff. Only downsiide was I heard of people being overcharged if they booked ahead, which is unnecessary, as someone's pointed out. If you feel uneasy about that, book for one night and insist on the room/charge you want and see advertised without being 'sold up'. There are one or two hotels more in teh 'heart' of it but you might also get noise (think I report on hotels if anyone wants to check).

Do they require long pants at some of Angkor wat? I remember some of the temples in Thailand you had to have your legs covered

They don't enforce it but short pants are very bad manners.* Women are among the worst offenders - bare shoulders are also considered unacceptable. And while 2 days of temples might be enough, a 2-day pass isn't an option. Unless you planning on returning just for the pdp (and why bother when PP is much better for that) then Angkor Wat is a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime experience so you might as well make the most of it, especially experiencing the huge variation.

As with Thailand, usual etiquette only even more prissy if anything. Things like pointing your feet at a Buddha statue might be bad manners in Thailand whereas in Cambodia these things are often felt personally - even if they don't say anything. There is a strong emotional attachment to (their variation of) Buddhism - they have s.f.a. else, many of them. Don't spit on their dreams . . . It's bad enough being a voyeur to their misery and the least we can try to do IMO is give them some human respect - and Buddha they hold dear. It's linked up with this idea of a legacy to the people that Jayavarman and the other kings of that time left them in the form of these temples.

As someone else pointed out, the museum is quite a good intro. But stuff is always more interesting once you've dipped your toes, so fitting in the museum in-between two days of field trips to the temples would probably work quite well.

Temple Bar on Pub Street – Like somebody said, this place is filled with tourist, and the place was packed with them. But they’re all in the front and I just walked past them to the back, where the pool tables are, and sure enough the girls were there. I was there around 10 PM and there were about 15 girls, playing pool, with guys and some hanging out. What was nice was they were all dressed nice and most were wearing short-shorts or miniskirts.
I sat at the bar and ordered a Coke, $1.00, looked around, made eye contact with a cutie and she came over. We talked, she was touching me all over, and soon she offered to come to my hotel, I asked how much, boom-boom and yum-yum for $50 ST and $60 LT, told her I only wanted ST but that was too much, she dropped to $40 but her voice and attitude seemed to change like she wasn’t happy, so I no thanks and she left. I finished my Coke and left.

Sok Sen Palace – This place is fun to hang out but the music was too loud for me. There are several stages with go-go dancers and a couple of them were really HOT, both in their looks and dirty dancing. I was here around 11 PM and there were maybe 10 to 20 girls, but it’s hard to tell because there was a steady flow of them coming and going through the front door.
I was shown a table against the wall across from the main stage and ordered my Coke, $2.00, to checked things out. They have a lot of workers here in different outfits, I saw a couple of them sitting with customers, one wearing a vest/skirt and another wearing a black jacket/skirt, but neither went with a guy and went back to work so I don’t know if they are available. One of the black jacket girls came over and asked if I wanted a girl, I told her maybe later because I wanted to look around first, she said just let her know. A girl that kept walking by my table finally stopped and joined me. She was right down to business, buy me a drink and then want to go to the room, before I answered she took my hand and led me across the room, into the back and up to a counter, the guy says $50 ST. Nothing had been said about money and I told the guy/girl that was too much and turned to leave. She came after me and in the hallway tried to talk me into it but didn’t lower her price, I told her no thanks and continued on my way to the exit.
I saw the fishbowl back there too. It was big and bright and could hold maybe 40/50 girls but there were only about 6 in there when I walked by.

After that I called it a night.

Blue Wave – I’ve read two things about the Blue Wave, you’re going to get laid here for cheap and the girls are not that good looking. I didn’t get a chance to look at the talent because as soon as I walked in the door I was grabbed by a girl wearing a short fluffy white dress, she was young, cute and sexy. I sat at one of the high tables, she joined me and I ordered a Coke, $2.00, then I bought her a Coke, $3.00.
Her name was Lisa, 20 years old, from Phnom Penh, some English, and she was very friendly, DFK’ing, hugging, kissing my neck and hands everywhere. I ran my hand up her leg and discovered no under ware and she was shaved. We move to one of the booths and continue exploring each other’s body, I’m fingering her and she’s up my shorts jacking me. I ask how much, she calls the mamas an over, 1 hour $20.00 and away we go to one of the room there.
In the room we undress, she takes me to the shower, open a new bar of soap, washes me up good and sends me out, I see her squat and wash herself, I dry off, she comes out, dries off and then we get on the bed with her on top on me. I suck her tits, move her up so she is sitting on my face, DATY until she cums. So-so BBBJ, she get on top, squat/kneeling/ laying, she rolls us over, her legs are down, then bent, then up to her chest, I give it to her for a long time and she loved it, I came, we rested, we cleaned up in the shower, we get dressed and return to the bar and sit at a booth and some more kissing.
I tell her I have to go, how much, a guy comes over and tells me $25.00, I give him $30.00 and tell them the change is for Lisa, she’s happy and so am I.

So yes you can get laid here, easy, fun, fast, cheap and there’s at least one cutie here.

Martini’s Disco – I went by here on my way back to the hotel and it was closed. I don’t know if it’s closed for good so a local may have to answer that. I’ll go by again and see if it’s open on Friday nights.

Hello,

I am in Siem Reap now, might try the Blue Wave tonight, thanks for this report! Fancy a beer tomorrow?I snogged one of the Soksan mamasans (the cutest) for long time then realized it was so late and I was so drunk, and my tour to temples start so early tomorrow morning, so left before any real action, but had a great time and it costed me 5 dollars! She offered me any type of sex I wanted for 30$. I think tonight I will go again to finish my duty. Many young and pretty girls around but I had the impression they don't speak any english (however they are ready to go).

Still up for a beer or few more Saturday night.

Lack of customers???--strange ,as not even 9months ago this place was packed wall to wall and as the lighting sucked in this place, I had to bump into half the population of Cambo just to get to the other side of the room.
I suspect this is not the full story as to the closing.

PTMafia here is rampant so everything possible. Anyway I went to Pyramid tonight and it was nothing special but a brand new club (quite far from town) with laser effects and terrible Cambodian hip hop. Maybe could be better if you stay longer but I had no patience and moved on to a viet brothel near zone one, where it was smelly, dark and hot but my girl did all what I wanted. After, went back to socksan to look for my sexy mamasan (from the night before) but the place was dead, so had last drink (negroni) and went back to pub street where I met a girl I was sexy dancing with at the Pyramid; nothing special but I needed some company, so she she's here right now, sleeping after a nice boom boom. I think it will cost me about 15$.

Tomorrow night will report if anything new happens in my last asian night.

Tomorrow night will report if anything new happens in my last asian night.
Went to Blue Wave tonight, and as someone else reported here, you can have good fun, beer in front and hands exploring the 2/3 girls sitting around you and giving you all sorts of massage. Had few beers there then I choose one girl, quite cute but not slim but she spoke good english and I didn't want to eat alone again. So took her out (40$, maybe too much but didn't care to bargain on my last night) to a restaurant; she didn't eat but gave me a 'no hands' (should report sometimes on this Bangkok restaurant I went with my friend Cippa. Great fun! ) experience. Great service also afterwards in my bed, only problem, the sleazy night guy working at reception turned up to my room after ten minutes and asked 20$ for the girl. Gave him a very bad look and 10$ (again didn't want troubles on my last night) and that's it. My flight is at 8am, now is 1:30am and am very tempted to go back to Temple bar where I saw few cuties earlier.

Just now getting around to posting this.

Zone One Brothels – I wanted to check these out so I arranged with my motto guy to take me. I’d told him I knew where I wanted to go and just wanted a ride and maybe some negotiating help. We went to a couple but nothing moved me. Yes there were some cute ones but none were sexy and for the most part they seemed so disinterested.
My motto said he know of a couple more in the area, they were on side streets around Zone One, so we went to check them out. The first one we just stopped outside and looked, my guy said it wasn’t a good place so we went to the next one.
When we got to the next place he turned in the driveway, turned off his light, and drove to the back. The door was open but the lights were dim as we pulled up but when we stopped a bunch of local men came out and the lights were turned up and I could see about 10 girls sitting inside, they were dressed sexy, young and looked nice. The attitude of the girls here was much better, they were smiling and happy like they were glad to see me. They invited me in and gave me a chair right in from of them then they started trying to get me to pick them. I was attracted to a couple of them and asked the mamasan how much, she told me massage and boom-boom for one hour $30.00, I told her that was too much and she didn’t budge so I got up to leave but was grabbed by a couple of the girls pulling me back. I asked the mamasan again and still she didn’t change the price so I went out and got on the motto.
I thought I’d give it one more try and explained to my motto that I would pay $25.00 and if the service was good I would give the girl $5.00 tip but I wanted kissing and yum-yum too and asked him to see if he could arrange that. He called out my first choice, told her my offer but she said no yum-yum, called out the second girl and we got the same reply so we left. At this point I was ready for some action and told him to take me to Blue Wave.

Blue Wave – When I walked in at about 9:30 PM there were no customers in the place and every girl came to greet me, about 12 of them. It was kind of dark so I couldn’t see all of them good but they were all dressed sexy and I would guess they ranged between 25 to 35 years old and overall from 4 to 7 but they all had great little bodies and were quite friendly. But Lisa was the best looking girl there and soon we were in a booth kissing and feeling each other up. I ordered us a Coke and it just got hotter and hotter for maybe another 20 minutes until we went to the room. It was another great session with Lisa.
As we were getting dressed Lisa, in her limited English, said she wanted my number, I told her I didn’t have a cell number and asked her way, she said she wanted to come to my hotel tomorrow. I gave her a business card for my hotel and my room number, we arranged for her to come around 7 PM.
I wonder if she’ll show up.

Brothels – Across the “Old Market Bridge” – After I left Blue Wave I thought I’d take a nice walk, and recharge just in case, and went to check things out. I’d read that there were several places along this road but didn’t see any no-name places.

Doremi Karaoke – When I looked down the driveway I could see the big window, the curtain was closed but could still see that there were girls sitting there, so I walked into the parking lot. A guy asked if I wanted massage and boom-boom, I asked how much, he said one hour $50.00, I told him that was too much and he just let me walk away. He never even opened the curtain so I could see the talent he had.

Dream World – This place is as has been described, a huge well lit room with lots of girls, I would guess 40 to 50, sitting all the way around the outside and you just walk around. Even though it was what I was expecting I was still taken back and it took me a minute to compose myself. I start to walk around and the first few were lifeless but then came to a group that was very friendly, they made a space between them and motioned for me to sit down, so I did and they were all over me. This was a nice group, 6 or 7, of girls, young, cute, dressed nice and sexy and I’d guess between 18 to 25, 6 to 8’s. I would have taken anyone of them. I asked how much and was told $40 ST but the girl that told me that was soon yelled at by the other girls and they called the mamasan over, She told me $50 ST, I choked and got up and left. Nothing was said or done to stop me. Oh well.

Temple Club – I stopped in just to rest my tired feet and have a Coke. I met a nice girl in a short skirt named Anna, a little over weight but clean cut and cute. We talked and she offered to come to my hotel for massage and boom-boom for $40 but while she was nice she didn’t do anything for me so I declined saying I was too tired. She said she would be there again tomorrow night and I told her maybe I’d be back. We did have a nice conversation and she was kind of funny.

The walk back to my hotel – After being accosted by several TV/TG’s I made it down the road a bit and past them, stopped at a little market, i.e. 7-11, glass front, bright lights and open late, then at the corner I was approached by a lady, maybe around 35, with an offer of massage, boom-boom and to spend the night for 20 bucks. Interesting, I stopped to talk to her about her offer and saw that she was not bad looking, very short and a very little body. She said I could come to her room if I wanted, I declined and she dropped her price to 15, I told her thanks but I was too tired tonight, she was holding of my hand and wouldn’t let me go. Next she offered yum-yum right there, pointing to one of the empty street booths, for $10, I asked if she would make me cum and she said she would, what the hell and we go to the booth.
It wasn’t great but not bad either and she got the job done, I came in her mouth, she sucked until I was limp then she spit it out. I was happy, gave her the 10 and was on my way. She asked me to come back tomorrow night too.

Last report for Siem Reap

Well Lisa didn’t show up tonight as she promised she would. Not really surprised but don’t understand why, I’d already seen her twice, treated her nice and tipped her too, now she has a chance to get the same money and keep it all to herself.

Blue Wave – I thought I’d get even with Lisa for not showing up by going here and taking another girl. When I walked in she came up to me to explain what happened, I listened, thanked her, told her maybe some other time, walked away and sat down alone. She followed but I told her not tonight and asked her to leave, she did and went to join some of the other girls. I think when the other girls saw me send Lisa away they know I was free and several came over within a few minutes. I picked one, never did understand her name, same routine getting ready in the room, had a nice time and I was happy. When I was leaving Lisa came over and asked if she could come tomorrow, I told her I was leaving in the morning, she gave me a hug and a big kiss and I left.

Temple Club – While I was setting at the bar I was having fun with one of the girls while she was playing pool, or at least I was, after she lost she didn’t even look my way and went to sit with some other girls. I could have been more forward and invited her over.
Later a sweet lady came over and joined me; she was deaf and could hardly say anything that could be understood, I think she said her name was Normass. But she was fun, lighthearted, touchy, kissy, not bad looking, she had a sexyness about her and soon we were off to my hotel.
She showered and loved having hot water so much she was in there a long time. In bed she was sexy and loving, we both had a great time. She wanted to spend the night but I told her she had to go. Nothing was ever said about money but I’d planned on giving her $30 but she was so much fun I gave her $35 and she was thrilled. I kept thinking she was not a pro, just a regular girl down on her luck, because I gathered she needed the money to feed her kids. And she had several earrings, bracelets and several other pieces of jewelry.
Also, she is the only girl that let me take photos, I got plenty but only posting these three.

Agreed to a Tuk Tuk driver to find a girl for me, he tried a few back street places but they had a poor selection and the places did not look clean.

Then went to Top Town. This is a big and relatively smart. Joint, seemed to be up a back street. The girls sit in the reception room (like a doctors waiting room). Mamasan wanted US$60 but we settled on $50 for 1 hour. None really turned me on but I chose a slightly a chubby girl with reasonable boobs but it was a bad choice. Not really into it, just there for the money, minimum effort, I gave her a good DATY to orgasm but she did not appreciate it. CBJ was short and poor. Then rode me for a bit, must admit her pussy was nice and tight, then switch to mish to finish.

Quick wash by herself then got dressed, I said no, I paid 1 hour, strip of again and give me a massage, so she did but again it was poor, so I gave up got dress myself and left. She had the cheek to ask for a tip, no way.

So not a great experience but at least now I can add a Cambodian girl in Cambodia to my list.

I always liked SR after having a good time there a couple of years ago,a good time that made me sell my house in australia and emigrate.

Boy what good timing! Was in SR a few months ago with the GF and did all the venues.

That soksan looked good,so many girls in the bar and so many massage girls hanging around.

My pick of the SR venues for a single man.

Owners are Dutch and Swiss with Cambo wives. It's located across from Elephant Statue and Elephants Hotel. Good bar and music with one pool table in the back. 10-12 WG chat you up and go home with you for $20 ST. Most girls are 6/7s but you may want to hold out for a couple of 8s who drop by. 2 or 3 ladyboys are always hanging around hoping for a stupid drunk. The bartender can point them out for you or the girls will tell you.

Many guest houses are within walking distance, including the Mandalay. I stayed at the new Thunborey Hotel. See www.thunboreyhotel.com.

this was my 2nd trip to siem reap. , i like siem reap. it is a nice town, but the overwhelming reason to come here is angkor what archaeological site. everything else is just a bonus.

i arrived in the afternoon so i spent the rest of the day wandering around the town. i had a great dinner at madame butterfly. after dinner i had a few drinks at temple bar and soup dragon on pub street and saw some pretty waitresses, but it did not look like anything was going to happen. i met a free lancer on pub street. she was around thirty and kind of past her prime in the looks department. there were several massage parlors on old market street. some had pretty girls handing out flyers to passer byes. i stopped to talk to one girl. after dropping several hints i realized that these places were traditional massage parlors and offered no happy endings. (if someone at the forum knows different, please let me know.) anyway, i cruised up and down pub street several times between 9 and 10: 30pm. the area was packed with tourists of all stripes and nationalities, but there just was not much girl action. i went back to my hotel and retired.

i woke up early and got a good jump on the hordes of tourists that descend on angkor what complex. a big tip: start at the most distance temple in the park first (banteay srei) and work back. around 3pm the heat and humidity finally got to me so i went back to my hotel to relax by the pool.

had dinner at khmer kitchen on pub street alley, then i again cruised up and down pub street. i saw the same tourists, the same hooker, the same traditional massage girls, and the same pretty waitresses, but not much else. so i walked down pub street, crossed sivatha blvd, took a left on sivatha, walked a block then turned right and saw sok san disco/massage parlor a couple doors down the lane.

a friendly doorman asked me if i wanted to go to the massage parlor or the disco. i said i did not know, so he escorted me through the door on the right which led to a fishbowl containing around 25 girls. i checked the girls out, but none seemed very attractive although many were very eager to be selected. i turned around, left the fishbowl and said ok where is the disco. he led me a little further down the hallway and opened a door.

i was greeted by a very attractive girl wearing a black hostess dress as soon as i stepped inside the disco. she escorted me to a booth along the wall and asked if i wanted company. i liked her smile so i said sure. soon a waitress came by and i ordered some drinks. it was around 9pm and i was the only customer in the place. occasionally some other hostess girls walked past our table to see who i was and what was going on. the girl and i started to get acquainted. she said her name was ta and she was 22 years old. the disco was very dark except for the occasional strobe light so i put my arm around her and started kissing her. she kissed me back pretty passionately and it wasn’t long before i was feeling her up and she was rubbing my dick. i asked her where we could go to make love and she said there were rooms upstairs. i asked how much. she said $50. i said that was too beaucoup. what about $30. she said she could not do it. sok san had a set price and she could not come down from it. i knew further bargaining was pointless and would only spoil the mood.

i sipped my beer and we talked a little more. i then told her i thought she was pretty but that i wanted a better look at her in the lobby. so we went into the lighted lobby. she was about 5ft 2 inches with an hourglass figure and a very pretty face. she gave me another big smile and i started kissing her there in the light. we went back to our table and continued fooling around. i wanted her but i still wasn’t into paying $50. so i offered $35. she politely said she could not do it and i believed her. we again went back to making out and fooling around which i considered a very good sign of her character and attitude. but for some reason i could not pull the trigger so after we finished a 2nd round of drinks, i told her i was tired and was going to go back to my hotel. we kissed good night. i gave her a small tip and told her i would come back tomorrow night. she was gracious and accepting of this. nice girl i thought.

it was still early when i left sok san so i walked around pub st. and had a nightcap at temple bar. i still did not see much action around. it was 11pm. i went back to my hotel and called it a night.

next day covered a lot of ground in angkor what park. i had a great lunch at one of the stalls near the bayon. but all day i could not help but think about little ta. around 3pm i had had enough and went back to the hotel swimming pool to cool out. around 7pm i went to another khmer restaurant on pub alley. between 8 and 9 pm i checked out the pub st. scene again with the multitude of tourists, the pretty waitress girls, the cute traditional massage girls, and the 30 something hooker still looking for a john.

by 9:15 i was back at sok san disco. ta met me as soon as i walked into the place. we kissed and she led me back to our table. i ordered some drinks and we started fooling around. prior to my arriving in siem reap i had been traveling the soppong – mae hong son circuit in northern thailand and had been laid only once in 10 days in chiang mai. i told ta i wanted to make love and she led me out the back door, passed the fishbowl and up the stairs. the room was large and clean and had a king size bed. we embraced and then started taking off our clothes. ta had soft yet firm "b" cup tities with puffy brown nipples. she gave me the cambodian special: soapy shower massage, followed up with the bareback blow job, and lastly a passionate fuck in multiple positions. after we recovered, we did it all again and then a third time. yes i love cambodian women! we were both pretty well spent after the third time, but i fondly remember her laying semi upright with her back against the bed post while my head rested between her breasts, my ass just below her pussy, her legs wrapped around my hips and her arms around my shoulders. we just layed there totally satisfied. after some indeterminate amount of time i realized i was thirsty so i suggested we go downstairs to the disco and get some more drinks. it was around midnight and now the place was a jumping. there were lots of customers. the table to our left had 4 asian dudes with 5 or 6 hostess girls attending to their pleasures. the table to our right had 3 guys from africa and 3 girls hanging out with them. rep001tered around were many western gringos solo and in groups. 3 girls were dancing in bikinis on the stage. ta and i just took it all in and cuddled as we watched the show on stage and off. i told ta this was my last night in siem reap and that i was leaving for phnom penh early in the morning. she gave me her phone number and asked me to call her when i got back to the usa. i said i would and told her i really liked her. i gave her a $10 tip. i truly enjoyed her company. she was my first cambodian girl. finally i got up, kissed her good bye, and reluctantly left the bar. pub st. was now much quieter than it had been earlier although there were still some customers hanging out in some of the bars. i was too tired to check out if there was any real action going on so i just jumped into a tuk tuk and headed back to my hotel.

conclusion:

siem reap: angkor what complex is a must see destination. it ranks right up there with machu picchu, tikal, and bagan. siem reap is a nice town and reminds me a little of chiang mai only smaller and less polluted. while i do not consider it a world class girl destination, it certainly can provide the experienced traveler with a satisfying night or two on the town.

sok san: two establishments in one. the massage parlor/ fishbowl was not for me. $50 for girls i can’t rate higher than a 5. forget about it. the disco – yeah baby. i think this is the top place in town. best looking and best performing girls in town. best ambiance. there are much cheaper alternatives i am sure, but i doubt any other place in siem reap at the time of my visit (march 2009) can come close to this place. i rate it a 9. two big thumbs up!

ta: a great girl. she had a really nice personality. i rate her face 6. 5.7. body 7. performance 9. 5.

Can anyone recommend a good guide for Angkor what and mongering? Also a good GF hotel within walking distance of Sok San? I will be there with my brother on May 14 if anyone else is around. We'll be spending the rest of our trip in Pattaya.

A good guide for Angkor Wat is unlikely to be a good guide for mongering. Once you find a hotel, they can recommend guides... there are lots of them.

Sok San is right in the center of town about one block from Pub Street. No reason to stay within walking distance, as Central Siem Reap is not large - a tuk tuk ride anywhere around town will not cost more than $2 if you don't let them tell you it's more...just confirm your price before getting in... if they insist on more, move on to the next one - there are so many you have to swat them off like flies. A moto is less. SO no need to stay that close to Sok San.

But if you really want to stay around there - look at Cheapy's post below... Zanzybar is about 1 block away from Sok San.

As Stew2 says, mongering and Angkor Wat are separate. They are also geographically separated. Angkor Wat is the best reason to go to Siem Reap, but your involvement is dependent on your level of interest.

Angkor Wat

But it is several hundred pages. Too much to take on a trip unless you are an archaeologist.

I suggest that, if it is your first visit, you need two things:

a) a map
You can get this from any number of places online (inc above address), or in any guide book (Lonely Planet etc - bootleg versions available cheap from streetsellers esp if you are going via Phnom Penh), or from freebie literature available in SR.

b) something to get you into the spirit of it.
There are two options I'd strongly recommend. One is a visit to the Museum in SR (it's on the way to Angkor but you won't do it the same day). The other, if you are a reader, is the award-winning (factual) novel The King's Last Song.

Apart from that, it's quite good to have an idea in your head of the timeline, which monuments were built when, and the mutations of the prevailing Buddhist and Hindu (Brahmanic) religions. Also, very important, is to quickly get into your head an idea of the sheer scale of the place and a plan of what you can achieve in the time available. Reading any more than that (either before you go or while you're there) will probably just result in straightforward information overload.

When you get back home, if you found the place interesting, then is a good time to read more extensively in preparation for a future trip. Print out the guide at the above URL and do a chapter at a time.

Remember the Angkor Wat complex is enormous - much bigger than Siem Reap. And it's about half an hour's drive (or a bit less) to get there and getting your ticket/pass on the way. If you have a good driver who speaks English, is honest, is not lazy, that helps. Set out before dawn to get there in time to see the awesome sunrises. Take time off for lunch (your driver will expect this) when it's very hot and go back again later.

There are no mongering opportunities at Angkor Wat. Mongering is what you do in the evening. If you are travelling light, you will get a better deal on a hotel by just turning up. Practically all are GF.

My trip was purely on a lark. A job cancelled in Thailand, so I went to Cambodia knowing nothing except Angkor is a place I should see. Hiring the taxi driver made it easy, and I highly recommend it. Here is how it worked.

It cost $5 for a taxi from the airport to the town and a drive around to find a hotel. On the way into town, the driver said he would take me to all of the temples in the morning and return me to the hotel in the afternoon for lunch or a swim. He would pick me up for the sunset view at night. He would also bring me to the pub street for dinner. Price $25. I said sure.

The next morning he was there at the time we agreed upon. He took me to the ticket office to buy my day pass for the temples. He brought me to the first of 3 or 4 temples and said he will wait under a tree at the last temple. I took my time and looked at everything. At the end, i found him asleep in the car. I woke him and off we went to the next temple. This is how the whole day went. The driver was prompt, reliable and pleasent.

Recently had a chance to visit Blue Wave twice and Top Town once.

First visit to Blue Wave, walked in early in the evening, was the only one in the bar. Blue Wave is easy to find. Close to old town and Pub Street (maybe 1/4 mile walk). Major landmark about 1/2 block away is the Hotel de la Paix - find that and go up the side street just by it and look across the street to find Blue Wave. Open from 6pm - 2 am.

Upon entering, immediately all the girls (4-5 of them) jumped up and swarmed me, led me to the bar and invited me to choose one. None were outstanding looking but they were all pleasant enough. Somehow Srey Ohn appealed to me, so I selected her. After a beer and some small talk (English passable, not extensive), I paid the bar man 22 (2 for the beer, 20 for the girl), and headed to the back to a room. Srey Ohn was a great gfe - showered together, bbbj, covered fs, and then back to bbbj... really a nice girl who worked hard to please me.

Later I decided to try Top Town, as I recalled some good reviews here, and had noticed its location on Rte 6 as you head out of town (about a mile from the center). It has both a massage/boom boom center and karaoke or KTV... I went for the massage/boom boom service. Was there rather early (around 7), so the selection was rather limited, but did find one who seemed friendly and nice looking enough. When I emerged after my session, the number of girls had more than doubled, and there were some good lookers there, but on the whole, I would say that the girls I saw at Top Town were not so clearly better looking than the ones at Blue Wave.

Price was surprising - when I asked, papasan quoted it at 30, which is lower than I had read here in earlier posts. The sessions with Aya was also pleasant - she is friendly and pleasant to spend time with. But one thing that was clearly different here is that I was told from the beginning by the "papasan" and again by Aya when I asked, that yum yum was off the table. As Aya put it, Cambodians do boom boom, not yum yum. That was, of course, not a deal breaker, as I had understood it before going in from papasan, but having read previous reports, I was hoping it was official policy only. Alas, no luck there.

Next, back to Blue Wave, and had a very similar experience as I had had the first time. Decided to try a different girl this time (to the disappointment of Srey Ohn), so I selected Srey Moem... another caught my eye, but made the mistake of coming too close and letting me get a prior whiff of her breath. Srey Moem was as gfe as Srey Ohn had been, with the added bonus that we ended with COF. She laughed at that, as did I.

In all, I would say that the quality of the girls in Blue Wave visually may be just a tad lower than at Top Town, but the difference is not really significant. The price is a little better at Blue Wave (20 compared to 30), and the girls seem to be happy to do BJs. I would go back to Blue Wave, but might not visit Top Town too quickly.

Top Town was crap, I took a girl out, 50 after bargaining, she wasn't really entusiastic and she was bleeding like hell. I went back for another one, Mama san wanted an additional 30. I said fuck you and left, not recommended!

Martini, some good lookers but 50 for mama san and the best ones asked for 30-35. I liked Temple club on bar street, I always prefer discos or bars before fishbowls since you normally can get an idea of the girls attitude by talking to her a bit.

Radius International Angkor Star not recommended, girlfriendly but charge 10 us PER girl, so one night I was charged 20 us (when checking out)

I like the kmer girls after all and I got some good BJ: s, despite the earlier posts of BJ: s and Kmers not being compatible.

Good couple of posts there.

I met some pommie guys in the walkabou late one night who had been in phnom penh since that morning from Pattaya.

They were leaving the following morning-couldn't get out quick enough.

Why?

Well apart from the crappy hotel with no jacuzzi and the smell and the flies. All the girls demanded $50!

People do seem to often be asked for 50 bucks especially in siem riep.

But others are offered the same for much less.

I believe at the moment that more bar girls than ever before will go for 20 bucks and they look really good.

So many beautiful girls around.

My mate just got the gold card at one of the flashest karaokes in town. He says that the girls are really outstanding and lots of them.

These english blokes had done the tired strip of sharkey/walkabou/martini.

Hadnt been to a bar in 104 or 136-they had no idea where they were.

As for knowing of primo spots like LCC and MO, of course not.

Keep them coming.

Sorry knight, that stream of consciousness thing doesnt gel with you.

The point i was endeavouring to make was that these guys hated it,partly because of the filth but also the expensive girls.

If one is more informed the place is great.

I always tell new comers if they take a girl from a bar never to discuss the money. If the money is discussed it is often fucked.

Just do it and give em 20 bucks in the morning.

As for the gold card-great.

The khmers have the best looking women by far at the karaokes and the selection is incredible apparently. We are going to the party at the karaoke next week,my mate is shouting all his business contacts to a big pissup.

You are shown dozens of girls and when you select one she will attend to you for a few dollars an hour and for 20 bucks will do whatever you want-parties are in private rooms.

Last night we went with khmer partners to le mekong,a khmer nightclub on kamphuchea krom.

Our thai mate told us that it really warmed up later,he was right.

So many spunky young khmer women, all available.

But one would have to have some khmer-I do now but have a missus!

This place is unreal if you are a resident who speaks khmer but you could say that of any asian capital city if one is a true local.

Don't use the motorbike drivers in front of the bars. They will take you to a place where you are asked to pay as much as 80 dollars. Go into the back streets and ask one of them to take you to a place where you only want to pay 20 dollars.

I would advise against this and always talk money upfront if you are taking a girl from a hosstess bar. Otherwise you both may have very different expectations and end up in a nasty confrontation. The barang will nearly always lose. Dont put yourself in this position.

I dont talk money with the girls from the WA for ST but even then some are expecting $15 and not the $10 I give them. If I wasnt a frequent flyer WA ST customer I could have problems.

Well have a good trip, and lots of luck in your punting adventures. But if you are told the price is up to you then you have in fact disscussed price. I would still recommend that in most places for most people it is better to disscuss price first.

Every time I go into a new $5 brothel or one I havent been to for 6 months I always tell them what im going to pay. They normally say it is now $10 at which point I say no thank you then. The price then comes back down to $5. If I hadnt had this conversation you can bet they would have demanded $10. Very hard to negotiate after the fact.

Every time I go into a new $5 brothel or one I havent been to for 6 months I always tell them what im going to pay.Well it certainly makes sense to talk price first in a brothel. It's not like it's going to ruin the mood or anything.

With girls from bars, I find that the ones interested in talking about price first are generally of no interest to me.

Shadow6491
06-03-09, 03:33
In a brothel you may only be arguing over $5 in a hosstess bar your expectations may be $20 for a LT and hers may be $50 or $100. As a tourist when an argument breaks out who are you going to turn to. She has many friends and even the police.

If talking price is going to ruin the experience for you then you need to take a reality check. The girl you are about to fuck is a prositute she is only doing it for the money. She is not going to be your wife or girlfriend. You are going to pay her to go away in the morning.

If she can talk price with you and still give that GFE then she is worth going with. If she doesnt want to talk prices then it may well be a warning that you may have some sort of problems in the future.

Anyway this is Asia and its all up to you. This site is just here to try and make it easier for people to avoid problems and to find out where to have a good time and I hope I can help as many people have helped me over the years.

As a tourist . . . If talking price is going to ruin the experience for you then you need to take a reality check.Er . . . the line about ruining the mood in a brothel was, um, a joke. And we're not all tourists.

New guys especially do need to make sure about prices. But for what it's worth, many veteran mongers seldom if ever mention it. It's all about knowing the market rate, speaking the language, and establishing rapport with the girl. That has always worked just fine for me. But do whatever works for you.

Due to the fact that I was not alone this time, could not go my usually way true some bars...
So this time I checked some MP's in Siem Reap.

I also have the impression that by authorities a lot is done to keep an eye on

The cow?

Just back on the site after a couple of trips to the bush, kamongsaom-la or!

Chickens everywhere, poultry industry is surviving the downturn.

The cow was whacked in the side by a pajero/montero doing maybe 20MPH.

She bounced off and landed about five metres from where the car ended up, in front of us.

Still alive but down, ribs, internal injuries, broken legs or hips-not good.

I only had one glance before ordering everyone back in the car and we drove the wreck around the cow and escaped.

I was only looking in the mirror for a pursuit moto which never came but one of the girls said that the cow had stood up as we limped away. I would much rather hit a cow than another vehicle, the cow is stationery virtually and it is quite soft!

An oncoming car doubles the impact, never swerve but hit the cow or risk certain death.

Thought is might be of interest to those mongers who have been to Angkor temples to pick up the latest issue of National Geographic. The article is also online free. Goes into detail how water was so important to them during that time. And also how the whole Angkor complex was perhaps the biggest urban area to that date in the world at the time. The whole complex is really amazing. Just imagine if you could go back in time and really see it live. Spock where are you.

Good report steve.

I first went to angkor only three years ago and looked at the buildings a a builder not as an enthusiast for temples.

I thought then that the area must have been the biggest building site in the world, maybe the biggest ever.

Recent studies have confirmed this.

I was at angkor again a few days ago with a mate from the building game on his first visit and he was as impressed as I was with the scale of the construction.

He was also impressed with some of the ladies at Siem Riep.

I recently returned from Siem Reap. I tried a few of the many massage parlors on the main drag but while the massage was good none offered any extras. I decided to tray out the Blue Wave Bar which is lcaoted on the side street to the lef tof the Hotel de la Paix. Easy to find. It was a Thursday night about 10pm and was definitely ready for some action. When I arrived at the bar there were no other customers. It was very dark inside so couldn't get a good feel for tghe palce but it was certainly spacious with a long bar with stools and some cosier cubicles along one wall.

I took a seat at the bar and was immediately joined by three women, two of whom should ahve thought about retiring and another younhger one with a great smile. She could have done with losing a couple of kilos but was dead sexy anyway. I bought her a drink and we moved to one of the cubicles. The conversation was pleasnt even though her English was nsot too good. She ttold me she was 24 and from Kompong Chang province. Before long she was caressing my thigh and kissing me lightly on the lips. After a few minutes she was kissingme deeply and had her hand buried beweeen my legs.

She asked if I wanted to take a room. The bar is connected to a guest house next door. I paid the barman $20 and we went to the room, which was clean, if simple. We both showered and with her clothes off she was extremely attractive with a lovely pair of breasts. She was highly enthusiastic and left no part of my body unexplored. A fabulous kisser. Very erotic. She raelly got into it. Afterwards we lay about a bit and it was a real GFE experience. I gave her a $10 tip which she seemed very happy with. We had another drink at the bar and then I left, I would certainly have returned the following night but had to leave for PP. There was one other customer in the bar as I headed for the street. I'd reccommend this place for its convenient location and the fact that it is attached to a guesthouse.

I also read the article very nice picture of the city, I hope that will bring more tourist and dollar to Siem Reap, I heard tourist is down because of the bad enconomy, the people here can only survive from the tourist dollar.

Hi,

I just want to ask if anybody stayed in Shadow of Angkor II before?

Is it girl-friendly?

Had a quick trip to SR to look at Angkor. The place is amazing, can't imagine what it would have been like to be bushwacking through the jungle and come across it. "Is this the train station?"

Stayed at the Mandalay Inn which was nice, AC, hot water and cable TV for $16 a night. Very friendly and helpful staff. The tuk-tuk guy they have, Mr Yan, was great too. Sign says "Don't encourage for joiners" but they don't stop them either. Good location, 5 mins to Pub Street, less to the food stalls that pop up at night and the market also.

First night there ate at Temple Bar, if you go there around 8.30 and sit near the door you can check out the goings on in the street and the ladies coming in. Noted for another night. As I had a 5am start for sunrise I decided to find Blue Wave and have an easy night, and followed the directions given here by Fergie1. Easy to find, head north of Sivatha until you reach Achar Mean St - there is a petrol station on the SW corner, Hotel De La Paix on the NW corner and a KFC up the street a little on the NE side. Turn left, walk about 50m and you'll see it. Empty bar, 4 ladies straight at me so retired to a cubicle with 1 either side kissing and grabbing. Not super hot but OK. They were massaging, I told them I'd already had massage today, and got told they have "massage room" in the back. Asked what kind of massage, they said "Khmer massage, no Vietnamese massage" so the "Khmer's don't do BJ" line seems to stand.

Decided on 1, didn't quite catch her name, not very much english, wearing some kind of hotpants with no knickers and asked the rest to leave us in peace. After more kissing and fondling, paid the bar man $20 + $4 for 2 beers and went to the room. Showered, more kissing and then gave her a bit of a tounge-lashing that had her pushing against my face and rubbing while she came. She returned the favour with a BBBJ (so I guess the no BJ is only the public line) then covered up and fucked with some AF for her, but only up to the first knuckle. Afterwards shower together again and get well soaped up, some more kissing, tipped her about $10 (I think, may have been a bit less) and went home to get a good sleep.

Next day templing all day left me knackered (it gets bloody hot out there) so just went for dinner and a few beers at the irish pub on the corner of Pub Street and Sivatha. Another good place to watch the world go by and check out the girls, you can't miss them if you have half an idea of what you're looking for and if you give them a wink I'm sure you could pick them up then and there. Chatted with a cute waitress then headed home.

3rd day slept late then headed out for a massage, tried to find the moto guy who'd been pestering me to go to a chicken farm the night before (kind of arranged to meet him where he hung out but he wasn't around at the designated time) so missed out on that one. Happy Khmer Pizza - don't get "happy" pizza unless you have no plans for the next few hours. That night went to Temple Bar again and sat a bit closer to the pool tables to see the girls coming in and they check you out too. 1 caught my eye and I mouthed hello as she headed to the bar, after getting a drink she came back and sat down. We chatted a bit then moved up to the bar to play some pool. Fun girl, name was "Chita" (Sichita?), 5ft and a bit, small and very hot, good English, said she was half Khmer half Thai. Had a great time with her playing pool and meeting her friends (I'm pretty sure I met RaNG's "Normass", she is dumb but not deaf from what I understand, and she was very bubbly and friendly and pretty cute). Plenty of other girls giving me the eye when Chita was taking her shot, she got a bit shitty later when I went to the toilet and bought "Normass" a coke on the way back, guess she thought she was losing me but she got over it quick enough. Anyway we left and walked back to the GH, stopping at Zanzybar on the way for another beer, which was pretty dead (it was late, maybe 2am or more). Got her back to the room, DATY and fingering for a long while (amazing stomach muscles when she comes, and noisy too, paid back the neighbours for slamming doors at 5am the morning before), BBBJ and covered sex plus again on waking up. $40 in the morning (she asked for a tip, so gave her the rest of my duty free cigarettes as I was flying out - she was a smoker), she left about 10am because I had to go but I'm sure would have stayed longer.

Sorry didn't get to do any exploring around Zone 1 etc, would have been good to find the chicken farm guy and see what he had to offer so I could report. Next time maybe.

All in all SR is a fun place, although I'm sure I'd get tourist overload in the high season, good cheap food and beer, and opportunities for mongering. The $1 kids could get on your nerves but if you be polite and chat with them a bit they can come up with some funny lines - a couple made me crack up. Massages are also good and cheap (Blue7 had a good Khmer massage, thought something might be on when she closed the door to the room after having it open for the first half hour but alas...). 1 massage lady asked me if I was married (no), have girlfriend (no), can I be your girlfriend (I am leaving tomorrow, want to come with me?) I don't have passport (you can be my girlfriend just for tonight if you want) giggle.

Greetings Gents -

I'm planning a trip to see the Angkor Wat in February and have started my research now. After reading 5 - 6 pages here I only see prices in what I assume to be USD. Is that the best way to pay or am I missing something? Does the local currency come into play at all? Many Thanks.........LDP

Almost everything is paid (and listed) in US dollars. If you have some local riels, good for using mototaxi and tips then also could use but heard its being phased out and only US dollars will be used in near future.

Greetings Gents.

I'm planning a trip to see the Angkor what in February and have started my research now. After reading 5. 6 pages here I only see prices in what I assume to be USD. Is that the best way to pay or am I missing something? Does the local currency come into play at all? Many Thanks. LDPYou can pay for things in US$. ATM machines dispense US $. Local currency, Riel, is used for transportation, local street food vendors, local markets, etc. 1000 Riel = $0.25 so if something is $4.50 and you pay $5, you'll get 2000 Riel back as change. If you're at a market and something is 3000 Riel and you give them $1, they'll give you 1000 Riel back.

You don't need to make change for Riel, you can get some when you go eat at restaurants or go shopping.

Try to break big bills ($20, $50, and even $10) at hotels, restaurants, bigger companies, etc, so you can use the $1 (and $5) for your transportation and buying food from street vendors.

Excellent info guys, thanks a lot. Seems so strange that their main currency is USD but it must work for them. I have one other question that I have found no reference to at all. What is the skinny on herbal refreshment? I know this can be a controversial question but inquiring minds have got to know. Is it available or are the local laws so strict that no one dares to get near it?............LDP

Outside of ordering a happy pizza at one of the pizza places along the street just around the corner from Pub Street, I wouldn't risk it. Just my opinion. The Happy Pizza may give you a buzz, though the time I tried it that's all it was and not a terribly good one. Certainly not good enough to want to do it again.

Sharka and I were in SR together and not once were we offered anything except trips to Angkor and girls. Must be which drivers you encounter. I've been to SR twice now and was never offered at anytime to me.
But I also never asked as I no longer smoke.

All the happy pizza joints had an herbal side order. Older locals blaze & everybody (locals) told me I could roll up & put it in the air. Still be cautious in public as cops find it an easy way to get $ out of you. Check webehigh.com I chilled with my moto driver & his friends who owned a restaurant in front of the lake, almost every night after they closed. We hung out & put one up as if we were in Amsterdam. I chilled in a hammock in front of the restaurant with an magnificent view of the lake, & blazed a fat one to the dome every night. My moto driver even suggested I light up on the way to see the temples on his moto bike. Be careful of witch moto drivers to trust though. I so happen to find a cool, young, down to earth, cat, who even took me to his village where he lives 45 min. Away from the city. Man, I might have to look through my old pics. To post some of the ladies I encountered.

While it may be semi-legal in Cambodia, for gods sake don't be tempted to take it to another country where the laws may not be so tolerant.

I've just been watching the series 'Big Trouble in Tourist Thailand' on YouTube where an 18-year-old got arrested at a Full Moon party with a small amount of weed. Fortunately, because of her age and a first offense, she got let off. This should not be taken for granted though. The mental anguish that she must have suffered was phenomenal. Another Brit has been banged up for dealing and will be out of society for a very long time. It doesn't take much for the Thai police to nick you and they can be very, very intolerant.

Likewise, Middle Eastern countries tend to take a very dim view of drugs if you are caught with them.

By all means take advantage of the stuff but don't take it with you unless you are prepared for a stretch in a nasty place of confinement.

Many thanks bro's - I'm aware of the problems that can come up with this subject but as some have said it varies quite a bit. In Indonesia they will prosecute for thinking about weed, Malaysia is fairly strict, Thailand is much worse on the seller than the tourist for small amounts which makes it tough to get. Viet Nam and Phillipines - don't know, will have to ask. It is not important enough to change my schedule but is good to know the local custom. It does enhance the monger experience though so I thought it OK to ask on this forum, especially since most mongers are straight shooters.......LDP

I just went back from a 2 week trip in Cambodja.
Due to the fact that I was not alone this time, could not go my usually way true some bars...
So this time I checked some MP's in Siem Reap.
I must say, most of them offer a very good massage but non of them offered me something more!

I also have the impression that by authorities a lot is done to keep an eye on
the sex scene... (see my picture below)

What you are talking about is not "sex scene"; it is crime scene. The poster is about abuse of children and not sex. Abuse of children is a sick crime and not sex scene.

Malaysia is fairly strictPotential death penalty for even small amounts . . . yep, that's fairly strict. Cambodia is a free-for-all by comparison. But Siem Reap might be one place to be just a bit careful, because it's such a tourist trap.

Hello from Siem Reap.

Well Cambodia is a drastic change from Malaysia and Singapore. One thing you will not see is the red highlighted words on your entry card which says, "Death penalty for drugs".

I tried out two pizza places whilst searching for the perfect happy pizza. The first was a ritzty place, called red pizza or something like that. Anyway, the pizza gave me a buzz similar to having drunk 3 or 4 beers. And I was still light headed 12 hours later. I tried the happy herb pizza restaurant here in Siem Reap. You can smell the ganja but you will not get a high. I was so totally disappointed. I mentioned this to my tuk tuk driver and he offered to help me get the real ganja.

According the my driver all of the places where the Vietnamese girls were at have been permanently closed by the cops. I will try to verify this. I have been busy seeing the Angkor what ruins.

Based on what I got from the board, scoring in SR was pretty easy - so thanks to those before. Started at Blue Wave which is on the side street to the left of Hotel de La Paix. Went early and 5 girls. A beer and ladies drink cost $5 - sign says Ladies Drink plus $1 so I am not sure how we got to $5...anyhow. Chose one slim pretty gal ~7 but sorry guys - forgot the name. Sat in the booth and she wasted no time massaging my shoulders and then massaging my cock through my pants. Happy to kiss but not much tongue. I quickly discovered she was wearing no panties which was nice. She pushed me towards going out back - quoted $20 for yum yum, boom boom and massage which seemed OK. Not great BBBJ skills but happy with DATY and lots of positions before it all happened.

Walked pub st and was accosted by plenty of older WG but suspect at least one was a Ladyboy. Easy to catch the eye of other gals though who you could pull. But food at Temple - some gals out the back but it was pretty busy.

Sok Sen is a disco/fishbowl at the end of Pub t - go to the end, turn left and then first right - lots of neon - really you can't miss it. Got there at 10 and ~10 gals swarmed when I arrived. Hooked up quickly with a very nice young Khmer gal (yeah sorry about the name again!) - she was pretty pushy about ging to the room - asked the price - she quoted $50, told her 30 and we got to $35 which seemed par for the locale. Hope I am not contributing to inflan. She had a killer body but was a bit sort of "hard" - anyhow no yum yum and had to sling her an extra $5 for DATY but she warmed up after that and rode me well. Great image of that hot young slim brown body.

As I normally monger in Germany I naturally make comparisons. I take responsibility but just couldn't get the chemistry going with these gals like I do in Germany. It was quite mechanical. I will try again tonight and see if I can improve - might just be the newness and I know you get out what you put in. Anyhow hope these few words help someone else.

Hi!

I just made it back home from Cambodia. I am glad that you had fun in Siem reap but if you paid more than $20 to play then you got ripped off big time. Hint-you can get the old time rates if you are a repeat customer;) Shop around because some places have nice viet girls, and others have some cold bitches. Over all, I had the most fun at the blue mountain. I am also happy to report that the chicken ranch is alive and well. I never made it back there again as I had already shagged at other places. But there will be a next time hopefully

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm confused as the title of your post said Siem Reap but I don't ever remember a Blue Mt in SR?- only Blue Mt I know was in Snooky. And since you are on the topic of prices, care to give us the latest prices you paid in SR and Blue Mt and chicken ranch so we all don't get ripped off as you put it.

Hi all,

I am coming to SR on Jan13th. Searched our forums and net to see girl friendly hotel and where I can get some action but with little help. Old reports show that golden banana, mandalayinn, twodragons, were GF. Not sure about current status. Max $20 for AC. Prefer to tip the girl more and spend less on room.

Any pointers on budget hotels that are guest friendly (will be great if it has WIFI). Been to Pattaya and phuket and I understand SR is not known for this but for temples. So my first priority is temple and would like to spend the night glad. If any forum member will be in SR at this time, will be more than happy to meet and beer is on me.

Take care,

I miss the temples.

Hi

Been lately on a visit to see the glorious temples of SR. Well to sample the talent got hold of the tuk tuk guy, checked out the soksang next to the night market, A presentation from the fish bowl took one who appealed me with a nice rack, moved over to my hotel, what followed was a great time, Damages 65USD and guess it was on the high side. Had no much time to check out other venues. Girl 7/10 for performance, looks and attitude.

I was in siem reap last Nov. Found one street about 20-30 ladies all viets are really cheap $5 each session boom boom only, they will ask for 20 insist on 5, most of them would accept. I had at least 10 of them for my 4 days stay, on second day I even do not need to negotiate the prize just said 5 dollars ok. Pure sex, good fun, kind of experience, will release the location if anyone interest.

Top town which every driver knows, ask them drop you off at top town cost $1 from Pub st, then walk up about 150 m then turn right to the first crossing st, further walk about 50m then you will find 6-7 places along the st. The women are sitting outside the house when you walk pass they will ask you "massage? " then you tell them boom boom? They will ask for 20 and you insist on 5 and prepare to walk away, most of them would say yes, all viets, qulity and service are very average and rooms are ok with fan only could be very hot but only 5 dollars what else you can expect.

I went there at around 6-7pm each time, yes its a dark st but I do not feel unsafe. But again don't go there too late, also don't know the scene during the day, too busy to do the temples.

Good luck everyone and have a good time while you staying at siem reap

This was my third trip to semi reap. Love this place, but prices have steadily risen but good action for $5 to $10. Lots of reports here outlining the scene. I have never had a problem with bring a girl back to a room in Asia. All hotels are girl friendly.

Asked one of the guys at front desk to arrange a in room massage. Great looking girl arrives, good massage, but no action, $10 a hour. Next night I tried again, ask for massage and bang bang, girl fom a different massage shop shows up, the t-shirt was a different color and no phone number on the back, just # 30. Massage was as good as the night before, girl as good looking, said she was 22, and damages were a little more. She was hesitant in doing yum yum, but did ok job, just ok, after some discussion. Started mish, then cowboy and reverse cowboy, finished doggie. Damages: $10 an hour for the massage,$ 10 for the bang bang (asked for 10, and i didn’t argue) total $20 for about 2 hours. What can I say, great room service, why go on a walk-a-round or pay a tuk tuk driver? Next morning he asked if I wanted massage tonight. I say sure, same girl ok he says. I said sure. Gave the guy at front desk a $5 tip and a big smile and thank you, as I departed the following morning. Wish I had tired this before.

Visited in October. Had so much fun I never took the time to write a report. Great place, cheap, party town. This is what I recollect through the fog of exhaustion and alcohol.

(1) Sok San Disco/massage
15 to 20 really nice young girls in sexy outfits and sometimes dancing on stage. Nice atmosphere/vibe inside. Good service. Strip clubbish without the the stripping, just dancing. Fabulously cheap ($2 - $3 for whiskey coke I think and same for the girly drinks). Go in, have the three nicest girls in the club site and dance for you, enjoy. Sex and BJ available onsite or takeway.

(2) Blue wave
Walked in. Seemed dead. 3 tired old ladies. Left.

(3) Dream World
Karaoke place and I'm told extra services as well (though be specific about your intents to avoid disappointment). 30 to 40 great young ladies to choose from. Closes early-ish like midnight or 1

Hello, fellow members, I'll be arriving in Siem Reap in another week's time.

And I would like to double check some information that I gathered on the forum.

There's the local Bar/Disco/Fishbowls which costs vary a little? 30-50$ for St, and 40-60$ LT?

Street Brothels, is it safe to wonder around at night to visit these on my own? Or best to take a Tuk Tuk there?

And prices. I've seen posts with $5, and some even asking for $35. Which is accurate?

And there are very little posts on SW? Any of that going on?

I see that the bar's have bar girls available for it seems to depend on customer and the girl. So very random in this department it seems.

I'm staying at the Angkor Riviera for the first 2 nights. And willing to reloacte to more convenient locations.

Please give me a confirmation on these locations/results. As I would really hate to overpay and ruin everybody's prices in the future.

Thank you!

Hi there HappyTimes.

>There's the local Bar/Disco/Fishbowls which costs vary a little? 30-50$ for St, and 40-60$ LT?

They vary, but that's a reasonable guide.

>Street Brothels, is it safe to wonder around at night to visit these on my own? Or best to take a Tuk Tuk there?

You maybe mean the Viet brothels near Zone One. Yes, it's safe, and walking distance. But you might want to take a tuktuk or moto (small motorbike) first time so you know where you're going. And also cos some areas can look more dodgy than they are. Siem Reap on the whole is very safe - more so than the rest of the country IMO.

>And prices. I've seen posts with $5, and some even asking for $35. Which is accurate?

The Viet brothels start at silly prices for locals but will try to charge gringos more. Stick to something reasonable (say $10 or thereabouts) until one accepts - but bear in mind service may be pretty rubbish. Outside of these places it depends on venue. Blue Wave is currently $20. SokSan and Dreamworld are at the other end and pricier. (Still cheap by 'our standards' but service and even quality of girls is not necessarily high).

>And there are very little posts on SW? Any of that going on?

Less activity than a year or so ago - late at night one would see ladyboys so watch out ('good looking' at a distance and tend to speak with an unnaturally high-voiced lisp.) But you get genuine girls in the one or two bars - Zanzybar is a monger bar, mostly low quality looking girls, tho you might find an an occasionable do-able. Temple Bar has better quality but you'd look like a perv (most of Temple is trendy backpacker couples etc, with small enclaves of working girls, mostly playing pool or trying to grab single guys.) Prices negotiable but closer to the top end quoted.

>I see that the bar's have bar girls available for it seems to depend on customer and the girl. So very random in this department it seems.

Not so much random, as very few bars. SR is not a monger city. The main venues or types of venue listed are all quite different. You will occasionally get a working girl in a non-monger venue but these 'spoiled/fallen women' (as their culture sadly labels them) can be quite reticent. Getting a quality experience, yes, relies quite a bit on luck and chemistry in my limited experience.

Cambodia is forever 'cracking down' on prostitution in recent times. The governor of SR boasted a couple of weeks ago that his city doesn't have any if the raunchy sex-on-display bars that PP is credited with. I resisted the temptation to offer to show him round. ;)

>I'm staying at the Angkor Riviera for the first 2 nights. And willing to reloacte to more convenient locations.

It's an ok location if I remember correctly. Walking distance to most places, near the post office, and not in the middle of the noisy night life. I've stayed quite close to there (both more expensive and less expensive places) so PM me if you fancy other suggestions. I think booking in for two nights is an excellent strategy. Once you get the feel of the place, the layout, and maybe your $3 cello-wrapped Lonely Planet, it's easier to decide where you want to be and what you want to be doing.

>Thank you!

Hope it helps.*

ps presumably you are not just there for mongering - the other activities can be far more challenging and overwhelming (unless you just submit to being ferried about and told what to do by your hotel). PM me if you want to ask for clues on non P4P and I'll try to answer.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer Christopherd, greatly appreciate the detailed answer to each question I had.

I will definitely check out as much venues as I can and report back but since I'll only be there for 5 days my time is quite limited. During the days I plan to visit the Angkor Temples for good clean take-home-to-show-family-and-friends fun, and nights... well, anytime during or after clean fun I would like to get a load off. (I'm on vacation!)

Are there activity booths set up in the area like in they do in Thailand? Where I can browse through a bunch of brochures and find the activity I want and sign up to have them pick me up the next day at my hotel.

Also I remembered reading somewhere that Cambodian ladyboys unlike Thailand ones don't have breast implants... so wouldn't they just be guys with make up and in a dress?

Will be arriving in 2 days~ feeling the excitement!

Don't understand this. We were a third of the way back in the flight, and when we got to immigration, people were frantically scribbling away on their visa application forms. With our evisas we walked right up to the immigration counter (all of them seemed to take evisas) and watched the officer take 10 minutes to stam all the pieces of paper. So while it slows down the line for the people behind, having evisas saved us 30 minutes a least on arrival...

no. aside from a small line under the regular entry stamp it takes no extra space. You save a full page which is important for expats.

I used an E-Visa crossing from Poipet, and the smirking immigration officials seeing that I had an E-Visa made me wait maybe 45 minutes while laborers with a 100 THB bribe were shuffled before me in the queue. I would have paid the 100 THB bribe so as not to have stand 45 minutes. I guess the E-Visa removes the oppurtunity for bribes? But we pay one way or the other, in my case, I paid in weariness.

Actually expats have a yearly bussiness visa that allows multiple entries. This is only available as a one page sticker visa. Not all the border crossings accept the evisa and again this is not good for expats. I have crossed at every border crossing in Cambodia. Some are very remote.

The evisa is really only for tourists.

So at Poipet, there are separate lines for e-visas and regular immigration? Both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh had most or all the immigration lines marked "e-visa/immigration", so the same line for both. And, no- the immigration officer would have been glad to take your 100B bribe to expedite your way through- the emigration officer at the airport today asked me for a bribe, even though everything was in order with my passport and visa...

Shadow, I think Thaifun was talking about all of us expats who live in Asia, and travel a lot- between the Indo and other visas that all take up a page, I'm lucky if a passport lasts me two years, even with extensions.

So the e-visa is a great convenience and space saver, and like I said below, saved me a lot of time at the Siem Reap immigration. Good to know it does not work well at any of the land crossings, but with all the LCC's, doubt I'll be going overland anytime soon...

Tried to find the viet brothels near top town.

Went 150M further up the road past top town, there was a crossing path where you could turn right or left.

I turned right, and went down another 50 yards. The path seemed to dead end into a house and an open field.

I walked around for a little while, but could find nothing like these brothels. I was there around 4:30 pm, so maybe too early?

Can anyone who knows them post more specific instructions?

Thanks in advance,

To answer your question, no, when I went there was one line, and they waved people (migrant laborers) ahead of me in the queue (land crossing). Of course, things may have changed since I visited. I flew back to Thailand from Phnom Penh and I was not asked for a bribe.

I think, it's Cambodia, rules can change just like that. They changed even while I was in the airport. I eventually got shown through the 'VIP and Officials' line or whatever it's called. I'd just say, keep an eye on how the dice roll and roll with 'em. It's usually not sinister IMO - at least at SR (border scams might be different). Have been thru much worse airports. Clark in Philippines reminded me of a holding cell. Doha they list everybody's passports and a gringo eventually grabbed them and took over. A small bribe, given properly, at Delhi and you could smuggle sheep on board. Cambo just runs on cambo-time clocks.

Hi,

I was this week looking for Girls near the TOP TOWN. But I could not find anything except the expensive Top Town. I've asked a tuk tuk driver, but he said there is nothing here. I do not know if this is true but am now really curious now whether or not something is happening and whether we are wrong to look. The whole area is redesigned and there is much new construction.

Like useful tips and other neighborhoods outside the center.

Damages: $10 an hour for the massage, $ 10 for the bang bang (asked for 10, and I didn't argue) total $20 for about 2 hours. Wish I had tired this before.Hi,

Which hotel did you stay in?

Jan 156
04-07-10, 11:10
Most hotels are GF. But not all. The notice, 'We dress up in black hoods and burn mongers at the stake at midnight' is a bit of a giveaway. But even if you avoid those who make no secret of being part of a prohibitionist campaign, there are many hotels that have a great vibe and it's non-mongering. It can be a juggling act if you want to hang out with non-mongers, chat up tourists etc, then be seen taking some sweet paid-for Khmer Kunny back, or having her screwing up your street cred in the morning.

The 'send a massage to mein room' trick works quite well.* In Battambang, I'd just be up front and negotiate a girl for the night with the bellboy. But Siem Reap calls for more finesse (usually). As the previous poster explained rather subtly, you can communicate your wishes by just giving a thumbs up to the masseuse that gave the required service.

Probably doesn't work if the hotel has its own spa. ;)
Thank goodness for creativity.

btw I've paid as little as $6 an hour for the basic massage delivered bybthd hotel. It rather maybe depends on the hotel and what they feel like charging you / what looks appropriate against their rates.

However see this (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=1005933&postcount=2582) post in the PP thread.

Was in SR for a day. After a day of templing, went to Blue wave bar, took this girl named Som. She is 30 years old, C cup breast, very GFE service, BBBJ,DATY etc but did not try anal. Total cost $20 for ST+$5 barfine+$2 drink, total $27. I gave her $5 tip for excellent service.
She does not allow nude pics. Quality of pics are not good as they were taken with my cell phone.
Som offered to come to my hotel after the bar closing at 2 am, I declined as I had to take an early morning bus to PP.

Hi,

I was in Blue Wave also and the girls where very friendly. I take one girl for ladydrink (1 dollar extra) and she was touching me everywhere. I could feel she don't where anything under here short so it was a hot drink. I take here to a room nearby. It was a great hour. The girl from the photo was there too. Maybe next time. Wh know a girl in SR who likes anal?

Maybe it is a good idear to make a map of SR with all the hot places who are difficult to find. So not the bars in pubstreet and blue wave

But the chickenfarms ousite the center!

Many people ask and can not find. So am I.

Thank you

I LOVE CAMBODIA.

I was in S.R. for 4 days---visited the temples for two and roamed around the other two. Found terrific action on all four nights.

It seems that everybody is selling a single guy pussy on Pub Street. Most are the moto guys who want to take you someplace. Some might be scams other not..who knows...I was done by the time I got to Pub Street.

My method was to look around for a tuk-tuk driver. Stop by and chat him up a bit, see how his English was and see how we "got along" and if he seemed like a crook or a decent guy. When I established that he was someone I was willing to trust myself to for a ride to who knows where, I negotiated a price ($3-5) and told him I DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO TOP TOWN (rip-off at $50 just to take a girl out) and I wanted to go to a "small place" for "boom-boom".

I tried out three drivers during my stay and they all knew, more or less the same places, little hole in the wall spots, in odd places off the main road. Most had 4-5 young girls (mostly hot looking, 18-25 year old, spinners, kymer and viet, tight, smooth skin, clean, etc.) waiting, all eager and ready for a romp. They all asked for $30 for ST (2 hours) and I offered $20 and got it without any argument.

The next step was to go to a guest house the driver knew. I found one that was absolutely clean, air-conditioned and perfect for short-term use...for $10. This was the daily price BTW, so I could use it twice in a night if I wanted to (which I did!)

The girls were friendly, smiling and willing to do everything except anal. All positions covered, CBJ, etc. Spent our time together, left to meet the driver who was waiting patiently outside as part of his fee, took the girl back to where we found her....and went onto the next adventure.

These places are all in the same area, about 10 minutes max from Pub Street, the guest houses are in the same area.

So...the way I managed was to pay the $3-5 to the tuk-tuk driver and let him chauffeur me around. I never really knew where the places where, they were all off the main road and down dark alleys. I trusted it the first night while praying I wouldn't be robbed and beaten and/or killed, but after that first leap of faith, I got comfortable with the process and enjoyed the girls a lot! All were close to GFE, if not actual GFE. No complaints at all.

MY SUGGESTION: Leave the driving to your tuk-tuk guy and let him earn a few bucks.

TOTAL COST: 5 Tuk-Tuk
20 Girl
10 Room
35 TOTAL (WORTH IT)\

Is the Meridien GF?

Blimey, you like to push the envelope, don't you? ;)

I haven't 'tested' it, though I have eaten in the stunning restaurant more than once and sometimes in company. If you take a two-bit tramp from Pub Street back there, you are probably going to feel distinctly uncomfortable walking past the doorman. You could eat your breakfast off the floor of that place, it's that classy (there are many classy hotels in SR but not all as close to the action).

So if you pick up a skankiesuckcutie from Blue Wave (which you can probably see from your Meridien bedroom window if it is south-facing), ask yourself this:
Does she look like she could be a guest here, or does she look like a skankiesuckcutie that's leading me round by the testosterone-shaped extrusion in my wallet pocket?
I'd take a posh girl back there. Smuggling a skankiesuckcutie might depend on the doorman. They can be a bit rule-bound. I've been asked to move from the floating-hammock table section of the restaurant cos they wanted to close that bit and they wouldn't budge. If I was that keen to take my skankiesuckcuties back, I'd just ask when I was booking, simple as that. (Only call them 'my friend' rather than skankiesuckcutefeck and ask if the rate is for the room or per person - "Do I have to pay a premium if my friend is able to join me?") Good luck!

I was in Siem Reap in January 2010 and I’d like to write a brief report about my short holiday spent here. I was coming from Pattaya, mainly for going to Angkor Wat temples, but the attraction for Cambodian girls were too high and I wanted to taste some of them before coming back to Thailand. I was here only for two days, so forgive me if my report is not complete or contains some mistakes; in this case, please tell me what’s wrong.

I found that nightlife was concentrated in the area of Pub Street, near the Old Market, with many bars and clubs open till 4 am. There's also some movement in Wat Bo, along the river road and in Sivatha Blvd. Clubs like Zone One and Sok San are open from 10:00 to 2:00-3:00.

In Siem Reap I didn’t find Thai-style bar. This place is a very lively town, with a heart full of tourists and locals, but I could easily find girls only located in 3 different places:

1) dancing clubs: I found them rather brothels, then clubs where people could dance! The first night a tuk-tuk driver took me in one of this disco, and I found a breathtaking Cambodian with slightly dark skin, very nice and elegant. She drove me crazy, and She was worth: 60 USD$ for long time, a lot of money, but I was happy for a great performance with FK, DATY, 69, BBBJ, fucking in many positions and then CIM;

2) night clubs or brothels: they are quite hidden and practically impossible to reach if you’re alone, but for tuk-tuk drivers are very familiar. Prices vary according to girls age. At the first time the tuk-tuk driver took me to a place where the girls were, at least in my opinion, dangerously teenagers, on the borderline 17-18 years, and with prices from 60 USD$ for short time (with rooms in the club) and 70 USD$ for long time (if you take the girl to your room). At my express request to go to a brothel where the girls were safely adults (eighteen up), the driver told me that the price could lower to 40-50 USD$. A lot of money, anyway!;

3) freelancers: the second day me and my friend had known two pussies along Pub streeet, the main street of Siem Reap. I couldn’t see many freelancer around the center, but the few ones were easily recognizable at the eyes of mongers. Some of them have a room in town, but I think it is highly advisable to avoid this experience and go directly to your hotel. I’ve spent 30 USD$ for a Laotian, pretty enough and with two magnificent breasts. The performance quality was very poor: She was in a hurry, no FK, no DATY, only BBBJ and professional behaviour. Better forget it!

Note: at the prices above I might add 10 USD$ for tip at the front desk, each time I took the lady in the room.

In conclusion, in this brief visit I found Siem Reap is not a paradise for mongers. There’s something to do, but only a pleasant diversion from the days spent in the midst of the magnificent ruins of Khmer empire. Prices are high because there's a negative imbalance between supply and demand: Phnom Penh, Poipet and Sinhoukville are certainly better destinations for sex holidays.

phnom penh, poipet and sinhoukville are certainly better destinations for sex holidays. you're probably right. a couple of tourists the other month in sr, poring over their map on the banks of the river, asked me if there was much difference between sr and other places in cambodia.

i replied, "yes there is! siem reap's nice!"

of course, the tuktuk driver fell about laughing. you don't go to sr primarily for mongering. but apart from the hidden temples and other cultural wonders, it's safe, relatively clean, compact, cheap enough, and people getting mugged, raped and murdered isn't the fact if life that it is elsewhere in cambodia. i could happily live there i think. the pussy isn't spectacular. but sufficient. and less pricey of course than in the west.

I have 4 nights I fly into Siem Reap(although sounds as if there are slim pickings here) and just want to relax get my balls shined have some smoke. So any suggestions

Phnom Penh or just stick to Siem Reap?

Is Phnom Penn really on its last legs?

Is Martini's still closed?

Whats the general scene I read 14 pages on PP and it just looks worse and worse the more you read.

Can you help me on the location of that Viet brothel?

I'm not sure that I should especially as you don't appear to RTFF) ;) but . . . :

Walk or take a moto to ZONE ONE and then ignore Zone One and check out the illegal brothels on either side.

A little further on as it starts to look distinctly 'dodgy' are the alleyways with (mostly viet) brothels.

Some are ok looks wise. But as I have said many times, don't go to SR for the pussy - even less so if you are feeling 'picky.' At best, if you are young or reasonably good looking and sociable, just chat up tourists in the Pub Street bars. Much less hassle.

If you want cheap good-looking women at low cost and that's all you want, fly to Manila, walk into LA Cafe, pick a girl, take her to hotel, have sex. Repeat as often as necessary. There's not much else to do in Manila.

On the other hand, Siem Reap is one of the most awesome destinations on the planet. Having at least some pussy available makes all the temple trawling more bearable. :D

Is Martini's still closed?

Whats the general scene I read 14 pages on PP and it just looks worse and worse the more you read.If you are not picky no problem to get laid cheap anywhere in Cambo, you are very right most posters on Cambo are older (read past 40, many including myself past 50) Martini open again since about 3 weeks I think, but here as wel as Sharky bar there is virtually no quality, but I do not care as I only want PERFORMANCE. Looks don't matter to me. I was introduced to a very beatiful girl last night and against my thought I took her to my house, performance was ok with great great blowjob, she did what she had to do, but man oh man was this girl ICE COLD. As I expected. The so called non-lookers at least give you the IMPRESSION they are enjoying.

As far as I can see all massage parlors are still closed and the government continue their crackdown, even in 'private'apartments.

Mikado closed for about 3 weeks now but Le Cyrcee still open.

You can always find a good looking girls in the bars on street 104, 136 and streets between these. Expect barfine and higher prices then in the freelancer places like Martine/Sharky

The Walkabout looks pretty quiet to me lately, they have now a new hotel next to it with apparant hight rate rooms, wonder how much longer the bar itself is going to exsist under present management. And if you want to talk about low quality girls, you can find it there, and cheap (10 bucks st).

Now also, since the crackdown, I see much much more streetwalkers, some evenings the city is flooded with them, but for exemple yesterday some úsual'places where they can be found were very very quiet. Strange.

Very difficult to explain exactly where they all are, but for exemple if you would turn your back to street 104 with the river at your back, just walk straight to the park slightly on the left of the streeet and walk up to Monivong Boulevard, especially at the end where it is pitch dark they are wating, but carefully!

Remarkable also was that a few nights ago what Phnom was almost deserted, otherwise day and night flooded with hookers, here also, again, carefully! Robbers and Minors.

In Siem Reap, if you walk around evening time and pass all these massage parlors, just gentle chat with the girls outside, tell them quietly what you are looking for, give them card of your hotel and they will come and give you what you want. A 20 dollar bill is doing real wonders here.

Up to you. Good luck to you all.

Nicely put, blowshooter. Discretion for these 'respectable' women is everything. And while any of them will come back to the hotel for a massage, the best looking ones may not always be mesmerised by $20 from the average punter. A lot of them are desperately chasing non-monger tourists to earn a normal living. But with so many massage girls, the alternative options beckon.

$20 is reasonable for full service (sex) and $6 for a straight massage. But I've had many different reactions outside of that. One girl, with whom I had sex with on the premises, was very upset that I tried to pay her for sex and I quickly reassured her that the extra was a tip for the good massage she'd given me first (ie she is not s prostitute in her mind, she just liked me). Another very pretty girl spent a long time saying she wouldn't do anything but a hand job, then caved in at "$100" - which I told her was frankly ridiculous. A lot of them don't have a clue.

I'm just adding these notes in case any newbies might do a bull in a china shop. The Khmers, after all, frequently make a big deal about how massage, 'unlike in Thailand' is not a front for prostitution. I've not met any massage girls in Siem Reap (in the massage places as opposed to the brothels) who would think of themselves as hookers. It is always an 'exception' which they no doubt erase from their mind soon afterwards so that they have not become fallen women. Suspension of disbelief is the touchstone of such a world.

you don't go to sr primarily for mongering. but apart from the hidden temples and other cultural wonders, it's safe, relatively clean, compact, cheap enough, and people getting mugged, raped and murdered isn't the fact if life that it is elsewhere in cambodia. i could happily live there i think. the pussy isn't spectacular. but sufficient. and less pricey of course than in the west.very good! this summer i'm planning to go in phnom penh, and will listen to your suggestion comparing this city to sr. i will read the appropriate thread on isg.

thank you.

I'm not sure that I should especially as you don't appear to RTFF) ;) but . . . :

Walk or take a moto to ZONE ONE and then ignore Zone One and check out the illegal brothels on either side.

:DOk for a first timer are they still cracking down on hookers and what the hell is that all about?

Also very familar with Manila but have tired of it. What about golf courses etc around PP and SR?

Thanks

I was in SR about 4-5 months ago and there was no crackdown going on then, if there is now, then its something new. The brothels were untouched and from what I've seen, there was never a big selection of SW( hookers) to begin with in SR.
But if you posted this in the wrong thread - as I suspect you may have wanted this in PP, then the answer is Yes, there is a crackdown in PP as gov't wants a "cleaner image" for their beloved capital.

Hello,

Going to Siem Reap soon, so need a nice hotel:

Which gf hotel would you recommend because I think at least one night mongering is ideal between whole day temple visits.

I like the thunborey hotel or the passagio. But are they gf?

I always enjoy siem riep, it has many opportunities.

It is more expensive than it should be but there are some lovely girls there.

Now I can speak reasonable khmer I believe that all women are available Here, there is certainly no discrimination against whities, unlike Thailand.

If only I was single again.

BTW, girls? LOL 99% if you see a pussy between the legs what you find is a boy operated in siem reap XD I was month in SR, the only real girl I rember was a muslim rich girl I met 3 times (I'm not muslim, relationship not doable, let's not mention about sex XD) Except if Trans was your taste, leave it. 2 days for the temple and go.Not really sure what to make of the message posted but seems to be a mix of meeting a rich muslim girl or meeting LBs or the muslim girl was an LB?

Just for the record, the several times I've been to SR: never met any muslim women (rich or poor) and the regular WL far outnumber the Trannies (LBs)

Unless you enjoy 6 hrs drive, I suggest using www.bangkokair.com/ , who have 4 daily flights BKK-REP at currently THB 7170.

And if you insist on going by road, take a bus. ca. THB 250 BKK Poipet.

GOOGLE for the taxi option.

You can go to just about any travel agency in BKK and inquire of the bus to Siam Reap. I strongly suggest that you fly as the road to Siam Reap is EXTREAMELY terrible. If you do take the bus don't change money along the way, wait until you get to Siam Reap. www.Airasia.com Please fly!

While in total agreement w.r.t. the bus, roads and flying, be aware that AirAsia does NOT fly BKK to Siem Reap, only to PNH. And then you can choose between bus and ancient Russian-made hydrofoil to get to REP, both 4-6 hours with the latter horribly uncomfortable.

I strongly suggest that you fly as the road to Siam Reap is EXTREAMELY terrible. When did you do it? The condition of this road varies a lot, depending on season (worse of course during the rainy season) and maintenance (which may or may not be related to financial incentives from a certain airline that flies from SR to Bangkok). All I know is the last time I did it, around last new year's, it was a pretty good road. In fact it hasn't been totally terrible for a good two or three years now, AFAIK.

The main thing is not to get on one of the buses from hell -- the Khaosan Rd. specials for Lonely Planet people. You want the ordinary SR-Poipet aircon bus that all the Khmers take.

Phnom Penh and Poipet -> SR aren't the same road. After Sway, it gets dusty with the red clay until the pavement picks up again outside SR (same in opposite direction, obviously)

PNH-SR by road is about 5 hours and the road is good (paved)

ThanksGreco,

The 2 main bus lines leaving PP for SR (or vis versa) is Sorya Transport-leaves from the main market in PP, about every hour or so until 2pm. Cost (at least the last time I used it) was about $6 one way.

The other is Mekong Express (a little more upscale and faster as it have less stops) departs from the river area, Sisowath Quay, every 2hrs or so until 2pm. Cost is about $10 one way.

Hope this helps.

Sorya bus company was the one I usually use as it was the cheapest $5-6, but could take the longest as it sometimes make a few stops along the way.
Mekong bus would be a good alternate as it is more direct, makes almost no stops but cost a bit more (a whopping $10 or so). Not sure of any bus websites as it would be useless anyway as they mainly take cash to purchase. No problems booking a seat on the same day you plan to travel or play it safe and buy it the evening before--I've done both.

BTW: side trip to SP? where's that.= I'm assuming you meant SR.

Haven't been to Snooky for awhile now so interested in knowing what the current news is like, such as prices and quality. Please post or PM me with happenings in Sihanoukville.

Sorry, forgot to answer this part.

Cost of taxi is about $40-50 if you are the only rider. So, only worth it if you are with a few others traveling with you. Otherwise take the bus. Cheap and safe. Both takes about the same time anyway. Taxi maybe 30-40min faster.
When your bus arrives in SR, the bus station is way outside of town and this is where they drop your ass off but don't panic, your bus fare includes a free minivan transfer to your hotel in SR.

Enjoy

SharkGreco,

Sharka is correct as this was also the offer when I went by bus from PP, but always ask if transfer to your hotel is included as this may now need another coupon to hand to minivan/minibus driver upon arrival. Just to be on the safe side and ask as I heard sometimes this is forgotten and some have complain they were left stranded at the bus depot outside of town and had to rely on motobikes to take them to hotel (with luggage in tow).

Totally incorrect information. I have been from BKK to Siem Reap three times this year by ROAD. First time, I went with a mate and we drove to the border. Silly, as his wife had to drive all the way back to BKK.

On my second and third trips, I took the 5:00AM bus from MOCHIT bus station in BKK. Bought my ticket 212 baht from BLUE COUNTER # 31, and took the bus from gate #121. It takes 5 hours and takes you all the way to the market at the border. You walk across the border, and try to avoid all the touts who want to fill out forms for you and carry your baggage. I also did visa on line as it was more convenient.

After I had my Cambodian entry stamped in the passport, I walked up to the place where you take a bus to the taxi station. Last time, I ended up getting a taxi from there to Siem Reap for US$45. 00 all the way to my hotel in SIem Reap. Took 2 hours.

So, 5 hours BKK to the border, allow 1 hour for all the messing around crossing, and two hours to Siem Reap. 8 hours in all for US$ 52. 00 or so. Fly for Baht 7, 000 on Bangkok Air. No way. Too expensive!

AIR ASIA does not fly from BKK to SIEM REAP

Road is perfect condition. Sealed all the way. No problems at all.

Do the reverse to get back to BKK from Siem Reap and you will pay US$35. 00 for the taxi, as they want some $$.

Don't be conned into taking a bus back to BKK. I did that last time, and it takes something like 11 hours from pickup in Siem Reap to actually arriving in BKK. (You also change bus at the border)

I wanted too experience how it was too travel by road between Seam Reap and Bangkok (mid August 2010).
I asked some travel agencies in Seam Reap about this and they all had the same story.
It will take you 2 hours from Seam Reap to the Cambodia/Thai border (Poi Pet), than 1 hour for border change followed by a 3 hours drive to Bangkok (Koh San Road).
Pick up from your Seam Reap hotel by minibus and depending on the number of passengers they will continuing with the minibus or change to a larger aircon bus.
I travelled on a mid week day (believe it was Wednesday) and the trip was totally done through mini busses (change from mini bus on the border).
In Cambodia the driver always drove more than 100 km where mostly 60 km is signed/allowed.
When he was stopped by a traffic control (I guess they used the only laser gun available in the country) he reacted very upset, both to us his passengers as to the Cambodia police people. When he returned to the bus he did not want to say how much his fine was and also not if he has to pay by himself or that he could declare by his employer (a big lack of English happened after he was fined).
The driver from the minbus from the Thai/Cambodia border to Bangkok was even more worse; he didn’t speak any English and he drove more than 120 km per hour (but in general Thai roads are much better). Only one stop for a army control.
Within 3 hours (including a stop for fuel and using the restrooms) he dropped me and two other passengers (for a tip) on the Sukhumvite area instead of Koh San road.

This all for US $ 11.00 !

I stayed at the Tara Angkor (mid August) for more than a week.
It was not a problem to bring a girl in (even where it looks like the want to register but I moved them straight forward too the elevator of too the stairs).
And......a had a very positive expierence in the (internal) massage as well. One lady was willing to go tuther than only massage. She offered that I could book her to the room (that is normal she said). She didn't want to come to my room after fineshed work.
Some days later I visited also the massage and met her again. She looks always to the door (with a small windows in) but was willing to help me with her two hands!

Forget the walking distance from Tara Angkor too Pub Street. A tuk tuk will cost you (depending on time of the day and rainy or not) between 1 and 3 US $. They start standard with US 3 and you reply with US 1 and....end up with 1,5 (in local amount KHR/Riel 5.000 or 6.000) or US 2.

Note: take a room with one big (king) bed. As your travel alone they standard give you a room with two beds. For that reason I changed one day later (and they where very willing too help me with this).

Somewhere15
09-05-10, 09:17
Here some of the talent that you can find in Pub Street specially in Temple Bar (after 9 PM).

They ask US 30 or US 40 as starting point and you start with US 15 and find yourself on the end somewhere in the middle.
As they rather don’t speak/understand English (and I checked out many this time and also last year) it is helpful if you have a telephone with you (as you can type in the amount that you want to pay).

Pictures not a problem; English more than the standard questions and answers: forget it.

The driver from the minbus from the Thai/Cambodia border to Bangkok was even more worse; he didn't speak any English and he drove more than 120 km per hour (but in general Thai roads are much better). Only one stop for a army control.

Within 3 hours (including a stop for fuel and using the restrooms) he dropped me and two other passengers (for a tip) on the Sukhumvite area instead of Koh San road.

This all for US $ 11. 00!I came back from Siem Reap to Bangkok two weeks ago. I had a taxi booked for 7:30AM, and my hotel suggested that I take a bus US$16. 00 for the trip.

Well, unfortunately for me, I did it. I saw $$$$ signs, and common sense went out the window.

Was picked up at 7:30AM by a Tuk Tuk and taken to a place where there were lots of toursist waiting (Guest house)

The 8; 00AM bus finally turned up, and we were all away by 8:20 AM. The bus never went over 60 km / hour for the first hour, and we stopped at the little town about 50km from Siem Reap, for the usual convenience stop so that everone could buy drinks etc.

Then we got going, and about 11:30 Am or so, we arrived at the bus / taxi terminal which is 8 km out of Poipet. A 30 minute lunch break turned into an hour or so, and I was finally standing at the passport control at the border at 1:00PM. After going through passport control and entering Thailand, we had to swap our WHITE STICKERS on our clothing for YELLOW STICKERS, then, we all marched about 300 meters to a waiting bus. Finally got going, and we went to another place to pick up more passengers.

We evertually arrived in BKK at Kao San Road at 6:15 PM. A whole 10 hours from when the bus started, and almost 11 hours from my hotel.

Never again. I also lost my Bose noise Cancellig head phones, so, that cheap bus trip was very expensive.

My advise to return to BKK. $35. 00 taxi, and the 212 baht bus that goes to Morchit Bus Terminal. It would have been much faster.

You should atleast put the name of the travel agency here so that many will benefit.
It will be much shorter travel time to Pattaya if one chooses to go there.
Previously I heard Cambodian road from SR to the border is horrible. Is it etter now?

Fred,

I fly with Bangkok airway a few time service is great, this is not a discount airline one way SR to BKK 4 yr ago cost 109 USD very expensive not sure about the baggage I have only one carry on with me no charge maybe is not over 25 kg.

Fast Eddie 48When I was planning to go to Siem Reap, the initial plan was to fly.

However, Bangkok Air are pirates. Try to book a fare on line, and depending on the season, its something like 5, 000 Baht. ONE WAY.

In fact, I just looked on their web site, and a return trip in early October, 2010 would cost Baht 10, 700 return. US $ 345. 00.

The road trip return for US$ 104 is a bargain. If there are two travelling together, the savings really really add up.

Thats why I go by road.

Not being a low cost airline, Bangkok Airways (PG) does allow 20kg of checked luggage and the customary 5kg cabin/hand luggage.
Not a cheap airline, though

so FIRST go to PP then bus to SR.n Return the same route in reverse. about 5000B totalMy favorite way to Siem Reap is to spend a couple relaxing days in Pattaya, grab the bus to Chantaburi and the van to Pailin, spend a night in Battambang, then buzz up to SR the next morning. Yes, plenty of time on the highway, but at least the scenery is interesting, unlike PP-SR. Then back overland via Aran, or by bus to PP for a few more days of misbehavior before catching Air Asia back to Bangkok.

But for anyone in a hurry who ONLY wants to go to Siem Reap, I say just bite the bullet and pay Bangkok Airways. That PP-SR roundtrip gets old real fast.

OK... IF you take a cab from BKK to border cost is at most 120usd then from border to SR 60usd -at most and that is 180usd from Bkk hotel to SR hotel, door to door. Total time - door to door - at most 6 hrs.

Now, to get from Bangkok hotel to airport 3/4 hr,, get to airport at least 1.5 hrs before flight, airtime 1 hr., arrival in SR, go through customs/visa/get luggage probably about 1 hr. time get ride and go to hotel 1/4 hr. total time about 5.5 hrs. COST: 220USD AIR plus 20usd taxi to airport TOTAL: 240 USD

.......... IN SUMMARY

. . . . . . . . VIA TAXI . . . . . . . . VIA AIR

COST .. . .. . .. 180usd . .. . .. . 240usd

TIME .. .. . . about 6 hrs . .. . .. about 5.5 hrs.

One nice thing about the taxi ride is that you leave WHEN you want to leave, regardless of airline schedule.

Which is the best choice: you decide

OH - if more than one person is taking cab... fare will really be less per person!!

Bangkok AIrways had a monopoly also in Koh Samui, since they own the airport and, albeit often people takes their flight as a continuation of an intercontinental flight they were not much cheap (also in comparison to asian standard.
It is not anyhow rated neither a low-cost nor a low-fare, so their prices are aligned with most of major airlines.
Not helping much local transportation and tourists to move around the country.
It is not their call as they want to make money as a private enterprise.
They had to "surrender" Samui to the arrival of other airlines (namelu Thai with 2 flights a day) and some charters (mainly from PR China, with All Inclusive packages)
This 'opening' did not mean any change in fares.
I doubt they will ever allow Air Asia and the alikes to touch their runaway....

Fast Eddie 48Fast Eddie,

I am in Australia. Just did an online quote with Expedia. Travel in October 2010, for 7 days in Siem Reap. Australian $ 432 return (US$ 393. 00 or Baht 12, 275)

Even when a mate of mine in Thailand were planning a trip in March, 2010, he said. "You don't really want to fly, do you? ". Its just expensive.

I was in Siem Reap in July, and had to return to Thailand for 20 days or so, and knew that I would only get a 15 day stay in Thailand if I came in by road. I went to Phnom Penh for a few days, and flew back to Thailand on THAI AIRWAYS for US$ 142. And received THAI STAR ALLIANCE mileage points as well, and my 30 day stay stamp too.

Thats still expensive, but, I prefer THAI for the miles

For me, travel from BKK to Siem Reap is only financially viable by using the bus / taxi route.

When I was in Thailand in August, I flew down to Nakhon Si Thamarrat on AIR ASIA. Baht 2, 950 for the return trip. US $ 94. 00. That included 15 kg of check in luggage.

When you look at the miles (kilometers)

BKK to SIEM RIEP. approx. 360 km as the plane flies

Phnom Penh to BKK 550 km

BKK to Nakhon Si Thamarrat 600 km

Of course, the flights to Cambodia are International.

Interesting, isn't it?

Rgds. Chuck

I wonder how much Thai airway need to paid them to land their plane on their airport, I think ticket cost is over 300 USD for a round trip ticket from BKK to koh samui on Bangkok airway, I flight into Suri thani and take the ferry to the island but ut take more than 4 hr at half the price.

Then of course they made a fortune from it. So you have to give them credit for being visionary.

As far as flying vs. driving from Bangkok to Siem Reap, I'd pay whatever extra flying takes just to avoid Poipet! What a shithole.

Yep, currently it is
338€ with TG and
260€ with PG
on a same day monitoring and similar day times
Was much cheaper (20%) last spring, but fuel surcharges went dramatically up and also airlines are cashing back what they lost in the previous 18 months due to the global (joke) recession.
Surely the 737 of Thai touching down in SUm are paying a good stake, but their planes are full and so is PG.
I fly to Samui twice a year and never seen less than 80% load factor.
Still the general trade cries for lack of tourism.
I simply think there has been a change in that.
More resorts have been built and now they are operational
More 4 stars hotel from International chains are being built or opened.
Charter flights from China are increased too.
Their customers are not much the cheap beach bungalow customers, nor the local thai restauarant user, nor the beer drinkers at the night bars where nice girls play the furniture (and as Ikea you can bring the furnitures home yourself).
Those tourists are more family groups, spending alltheir tme (and money) inside the resort, occasionally walking out if convenient for a quick stroll and an ice cream, and spending the rest of the evening at the resort bar.
Not yet but in the direction of S.Domingo beach resorts in Punta Cana etc.
This type of clientele make suffer the night bars and the trade that goes around them.
Have seen myself empty bars and the planes are full.
Some 3 years ago bars were full and plane full too...

I did not register which travel agency I booked with but many of them sell these tickets. On the ticket they gave 3 telephone numbers and name who you could contact. We agreed to a pickup time of 11:30 AM and when there was nowbody at 11:40 AM I called the number. Within 2 minutes the minibus was there; I guess not from my phonecall but already on his way.
I include some pictures from the billboard on the street in Seam Reap and some pictures from the location close to the Cambodia/Thai border which was owned by the company who executed the trip.

For you information we left at 12:00 AM in Seam Reap and arrived at 02:00 PM by the border. Changing time Cambodia/Thai border etc. was around 1 hour and the (mini) bus to Bangkok left at 03:15. At 06:30 I was in the sukhumvit area.
I also saw many of these billboards with offers in Phnom Pehn, I also include a taxi offer that I pictured by the Thai border.

The same when you want to go from Phnom Penh or Seam Reap to Bangkok (or other Thai locations) for amounts between US $ 6/7 till US $ 15; depending on toilet in the bus, airco etc.).

I'm trying to figure out where to stay for 4 nights in early December. That website made my eyes bleed. I'm still open to staying there but I have to question their sanity when they think that site's a good look.

Anyone have any info about http://www.nethsocheatahotel.com/? I like that it's new and the reviews on tripadvisor are all good. A monger perspective is all that's missing for me. I got a form reply to my email. I sent a follow up about guests. I can get a double for $24 on agoda but they want $29 on their site. They ignored that question in my first email too.

I know I can book a place for one night and then move but it seems problematic if I'm going to out at temples all day so I'm hoping to find a good place so I don't have to do that. Still, I don't think I want to lock in by prepaying through agoda. If I go with them I might just book one night through agoda and reserve the other 3 through them.

Feel free to PM.

Several years ago, I stayed at the Golder Orange. Free pickup at the bus station. Girl friendly. And a lockable security box in the room. However it is not next door to Pub street, so a tuk tuk is needed - and they're everywhere.
A tuk tuk driver took me to one of those Vietnamese brothels and I did a take out back to the Golder Orange for the night. Can't remember how much I paid.
That being said, the Golden Orange is a regular touristy guesthouse, so please be discreet.

Fred - good question for trip advisor (lots there about it). Short answer: no coin laundries in places like this, but many small shops that you bring laundry to and they do for you, usually 1-2$/kg. just ask around when you get there for one in your neighborhood once you get there.

A Laundromat at least would be sure because you guard your stuff hehe. Well, two options: try a local place 1$/1kg like Stew2 said, and pray, or just buy some soap and wash your clothes in the bathroom. They can dry easily in your room, if you leave the fan open. The room is hot enough, trust me. And it's free too.

There seemed to be plenty of massage places around on the main streets but they all looked pretty legit. If anyone can recommend a place a place preferably with showers and privacy it would be much appreciated.

I will be visiting SR for the first time this Dec, and just wanted to confirm that the contact details I found on this forum for are correct for Saran,

Saran

Phone: [Telephone Number deleted by Admin]

Email:

I wanted to engage his services for visiting Ankor what etc.

I have read on the forums that a person with a similar name has been caught for illegal activities, but I am not sure if this Saran is the same person?

Secondly, I also wanted to visit Vietnam from SR, possibly by boat if I can, and was wondering if this is possible? I am planning to fly to SR from BKK, then make a boat trip into Vietnam (not sure where?) and then fly back from Vietnam back to BKK. All in all, a 7-10 day trip.

Am I going the right way round this or would experienced members do it another way? Can any members share their experiences / advise on this plan?

Thanks

Max

Plenty of opportunities still available with freelancers in pub street. Also there are a few ladyboys so watch out if you are not into them.

Another place we visited was Blue Wave. Three of us arrived about 9.00pm. Only four girls there who were reasonable and were available. They were not pushy and there were reasonable rooms available on site.

Gentlemen, please forgive me if I bore you with some background information about myself. You can skip ahead to the next paragraph to get to the good stuff. Also, I'm not sure about all the abbreviations, so feel free to edit.

I've been married to the same woman for 17 years, and I've never strayed once. She is also the only person I've ever had sex with. Certainly I've been curious, and had opportunities, but the risks always seemed greater than the rewards. I wasn't willing to risk my marriage for my horniness. Yay for porn and fantasizing.

After reading all your posts about Siem Reap, I just had to try and find some action for myself. On the first night I trolled up and down Pub Street, but there was an extremely heavy police presence. I didn't see anything going on in the Temple Bar, and the place was jammed with tourist couples.

I went with Plan B and spoke to some of the Tuk-Tuk drivers, they were all more than happy to hook me up with a "Cambodian Lady". I realize that all you need is a key word. In retrospect, massage booom-boom would probably also have been just as good.

The following day, after the obligatory sunrise temple tour, my wife went back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. I went into town on the pretense of looking for a bicycle tour. Even though it was only 1:30pm, the first Tuk Tuk driver I talked to looked a little confused at first but said he knew what I wanted. I negotiated a rate of $3 for him to drive me around and scout out the action.

Pulse pounding, and in a daze of unreality, I watched the scenery during the ride to Top Village. My driver went inside to see if they could do anything this early in the day. He returned shortly with Mama San and I negotiated $40 for massage boom-boom. I chose the best loooking lady out of a line-up of five women, the majority of which were low in the looks department.

My choice was An-Linh, a 24 year chocalate brown girl with tight, dreadlocked hair coming to no more than 4'1". I rode the tuk-tuk to a nearby hotel for a one-hour rental while she went seperately by motorcycle. We walk down the hallway, and into the room: nothing special, just a basic small hotel room with a childish pink and yellow comforter on the bed.

She quickly undressed and I enjoyed running my hands over her lithe and supple chocolate brown frame. Her tits were almost non-existant, but it was so different to be with a woman that I could pick up with one arm. I encircled her waist with just my two hands, and her baby smooth ass fit into one hand.

An-Linh disappeared into the bathroom to shower, and came back out wrapped in a towel. She gestured that I should do the same, so I popped into the bathroom for a quick scrub.

Back on the bed the towels disappear and she snuggles up into the crook of my arm. Nice fit! She licks my nipples, and massages my body while I rub her back and explore her firm little ass. I can't get her tiny brown nub nipples hard, but I had fun trying.

She slips a condom onto my throbbing erection, grasps me firmly around the base of my cock and slips me inside her Brazilian shaven pussy. The sight of that shapely mound and its chocolate lips crowned by a small patch of straight black hair is electrifying.

She rides me for a while, but I flip her onto her back and lift her up. I try to get her to do it standing up, but she's not interested. At this point I'm losing interest, so she deftly massages my cock back into hardness. I pound her lying on her back at the edge of the bed with me standing. She seems to be getting impatient, so I try to find her clit. No luck.

She obviously thinks this is taking far too long, and I'm not getting enough friction to come. Maybe I'm also still a little nervous. I pull out and communicate by gesture that I want to CIM as Plan B. No dice. OK, how about CIF? Nope. Aw come on, fine, how about cum on tits? Nope. The only thing she would do is a HJ with me lying on my back.

That worked fine, and I blew a big load that hit the pillow next to my head. She laughed in disbelief, and then gestured that she would shower. When she came out I showered, and she was sitting on the bed watching Cambodian music videos. After twenty minutes she was clearly disinterested in any conversation or cuddling, and her ability to speak English had evaporated. Then her English recovered enough to ask for an extra $1 for her motorbike ride back. I was feeling pretty cold at this point, so I flat out refused and walked out.

On my final night I was wandering pub street and scene was a little different than Tuesday night at the same time. A portable hoe patrol of five pretty women in stilletos was patrolling up and down the street with their mama-san. I saw a couple of guys negotiate with them and disappear in plain view of the police. Maybe the cleanup action is over? Also, at the end of pub street there's a place called Mikey's Bar where 15 very nice looking girls in fuck me outfits were sitting around outside. I went by again a little later and two older white guys were being mobbed by the girls.

Thank-you again for all of your posts. They gave me the courage to try the plunge for myself and I hope my first post isn't too long and dithering. If anything, having finally had some variety in my life makes me hotter to fuck my wife again. What a fantastic experience: as long as my dick doesn't fall off.

slips me inside her Brazilian shaven pussy. .Good report. I too enjoyed the read. Your 1st time into sneaking around must have been a big factor as you were maybe too nervous to cum, it'll go away real fast as you gain more experiences.

Have not been to Brazil so have to image what a shaven pussy there looks like.
