Initially Geylang was a regular stopping point for me and had reasonble experience with some stunning PRC girls. With the language barrier for most westerners I found the sex impersonal and a bit clinical, but this is to be expected I suppose. Nowadays Geylang for me is more about the food. However I do see how important a role it can play for short-time visitors, those that cannot bring takeout to their room and those needing day time action.

Recently I think Econo reported there may be plans to redevelop Geylang? I apologise if I have this wrong. Could this have something to do with the downturn as well?

For me these days all the action takes place at Brix, Ipanema and Harry's OT. Plus an exceptional F / L I have call by each visit. These days I tend to enjoy some conversation and interaction with my fucking! Something, I find, does not happen in Geylang.

I found the pickings to be pretty slim and that a number of houses recommended by Natty be were closed. I gave up and ended up going to OT to pick up a VN girl. I know what you mean when you wrote that Geylang sex can be a little impersonal and a bit clinical, but fortunately I have developed a list of my favorite Chinese 150 Houses where I have had some really memorable sessions with very entertaining Chinese lasses. I think the trick is knowing where to go, reading a girl's body language once you are there, talking things over with the Papasans (I know a few good ones who seem to want me to enjoy myself and come back for more), and my willingness to walk out of a house and try someplace else if and when I don't find what I am looking for. NB.Thanks Natty for reading my FRs, really appreciate it. Actually after reading your 2014 trip FRs in detail I also found it quite relevant to post the entire experience and not just a brief summary. Takes the fun out of the entire experience and makes it sound mechanical. As you had said before that if someone dosent like long FRs they can choose to ignore and move on, applies to my FRs as well now. However I am still an amateur and have lot to learn in terms of writing my experiences and incorporating finer details. I am also following your footsteps in terms of locations and venues. A big thanks for the effort you take to post the detailed report and make firsthand experience available for everyone's ready reference. Examples: I got Mr Keaks details from your post and his drivers have been picking & dropping me from the last 3 trips. Heck I even went to Mr Jacks store in pattaya to have a look at the watches on offer, didn't buy a one though.

Singapore has really turned sad off late on my last two visits. Its also getting expensive in OT each trip I visit and trust me quality is not holding. I am also planning to cut down my 4 day stay to 1 or 2 at max and increase in Manila or Pattaya on my August trip. I have a close buddy Cris who accompanied me to Philippines recently, stays in Singapore hence I am going to ask for an update on situation there before I book tickets to Manila or Pattaya from Singapore. Singapore has really turned sad off late on my last two visits. Its also getting expensive in OT each trip I visit and trust me quality is not holding.I've definitely noticed a shift in OT price points. Used to be ST could easily be had for S $150, sometimes S $100. LT at S $200 was readily available, S $250 max. NE Corner Lor 8 (or maybe Lor 10) and Talma is a small house with PRC service. Actually because I can speak a bit of simple Mandarin I like to visit the PRC girls. Geylang isn't that large and is easily walkable. An afternoon hiking the lorongs, stopping occasionally to grab a Tiger beer, or something to eat, or have a session in a house, is an afternoon well spent.

Houses are on the EVEN number lorongs, south of Geylang Road. Houses tend to have large address numbers, and often an OKT (pimp) sitting outside, although not always. Typically, the lower the lorong number, the lower the standard price, but this isn't a hard rule. The Sammy Boy forum has lots of info, although much is in Singlish. Google for it, can't post link here.

Pretty much, the legal house pickings are Thai or ethnic Chinese from the PRC, maybe some Malay Chinese. That's it. I've heard rumor some houses might be recruiting Viets, but don't know.
