Anyone else tired of the damn Anti-Vice raids going on inside Geylang lately? It wasn't like that before June. Last night I was with a Thai girl from Jln Suka (lorong 24) and halfway during the act we got a knock on the door and the girl (literally!) jumped off and hid under the bed. Said something about not wanting to get deported or such and that her Social Visit Pass is 6 months overdue.

Some punters in Lorong 18 around house 18 claim that prices across Geylang have gone up to 100SGD per session now..not true.
Lorong 18
House 38/Lorong 18 has a decent variety, especially if you are into big boobs. Most of them come from Chiang Mai and very service oriented (3, 4, 9, 11, 69). Girl 4 and 9 actually with real boobs. You should only pay 80 SGD/30 minutes. How many shots depends on how frequently you visit. If you are friendly and half decent looking you should get an additional HJ, maybe even two shots but depends entirely on the girl and the chemistry. I was able to get another "a" session for free last time.
Lorong 18/Westerhout, opposite the run down "hotel" on Westerhout 10m off the corner from Lorong 18, walk into the house (usually a red buddha offering in front) and ask to see the girls. Further into the lors (>= 12) these PRC's charge less but I must say that they are less beautiful as well.
I spent two weeks in Singapore in the first half of July. Sampled the following:
4 PRCs
4 Sri Lankans
1 Malaysian
1 Indian
1 Indonesian
1 Thai
I paid S$100 for 2 PRCs, 80 for 1 and $40 for the other. 30/40 for SLs, 50 for M, 80 for Thai and 100 TLN for Indian. I think $80 for Indo.
1 PRC was good (she cost 100). Excellent good looking young SL for 30. Other SLs were better than stated on this site. Indian (late 30s, early 40's) had a nice face was gfe. Indo very good. Thai was seeing period so not a nice experience although she tried. The Malaysian had issues and I suspect was not typical. All in all a two weeks well spent. Singapore is a wonderful country, good sight seeing, lovely botannical gardens where I spent much time.

In my experience the nicest looking Chinese women were hanging out at the corner of Lor 10 and Talma. Others can add other ideas, but that's my recollection. Head south about one block from Geylang Rd on Lor 10 and look around there. That 2 block area of Talma is kind of the central location - loads of girls to be found there. If you go towards Lor 12 and 14 on Talma (and around those corners too) around there you'll find others - the hottest priciest ones were at Lor 10, better prices close to Lor 14, as I recall.

I seriously doubt you can take a Geylang girl OUTSIDE Geylang for ST. However, if she feels comfortable with you and you spend serious money on her for a LT (not less than $S300) she will go.
I suggest you just stay in one of the Hotel 81s, Fragrance, Min-Wah etc. for long-term instead of staying outside Geylang. Cheaper too. Nothing is better than walking out into the street and finding 1000s of girls calling out for ST fun.

You did fine- I've been "shopping" in Geylang 40+ times over the last year, and never managed to bargain down a Lorong 6 girl below S$80- the hot PRC girls know that they are hot, and are not flexible in price. Certainly, the further you get from Lorong 6, the lower the price, and I'm sure that OldAsiaHand's prices of S$30-S$50 hold true in some of the other Lorong's.
This pricing is consistent with what is on the map posted elsewhere in the forum, and prices that Singaporeans get on SBF. I will admit, a native Mandarin speaker might well do better, but in general with my broken Mandarin, all I am able to do is negotiate better services (BBBJ- "boo yong towzah tway").
Indo's on Lorong 12 will go for S$30+ room if you can convince them you are a local, otherwise they will require S$70. PRC's on Lorong 12-14 are $70 or $80, and might be more negotiable, depending on looks and business. As OldAsiaHand says, times are tough- but I think that is hitting the CatS$150 and Cat S$80 houses a lot more than the street girls, particularly the hot ones, who always seem to be busy.

There are rooms (I wouldnt call them hotels) in Geylang that you dont need an ID. For the hotels, I believe it is the standard procedure.
If you use a hotel, the staff are obliged (by law) to ask for ID. Hotel usually implies at least the possibility of an overnight stay, so the ST rooms that Dimension refers to (clan houses, p4p dives etc) aren't hotels and won't require ID.
This rule is applied strictly, especially by larger outlets. Even in a Hotel 81 outlet I'd used scores of times before where I was well known to the staff, it was impossible to check in without a passport (away on a visa application). The ID requirement shouldn't be a problem unless you think the Mrs might somehow get hold of the hotel check-in record, for a normal monger John Q Law (Singapore style) has not the slightest interest in your activity.

Geylang is pretty much 24/7! You'll find plenty of action at that time, mostly freelance girls. Best to stay in Hotel 81 or those Fragnance ones.

However the price for locals used to be S$40. Last year (?) they increased it.

There are about 70 CAT150 houses in Geylang. These houses have no fishbowl-concept but you can describe the OKT the kind of gal you want and he tries to get her. You can get Malay and PRC gals here.

I've brought a caucasian to geylang couple years back and managed to get him the local rate. Try ask your singaporean friend bargain in hokkien dialect cos thats how I did it the last time (got it after 3rd try).
Try u speak to them in hokkien, talk like a singaporean then maybe can get lor. call them uncle or brother, then ask "za bo sui bo"? If he say "sui" meaning pretty, then u reply.. "gor chap"? If he says no, then move on lor I suppose....plenty more to try. or tell him knnbccb...translated "f his mum stinky cu*T" :D

I'm like OAH- almost never get the local price at the fishbowls, even though I am Chinese (can't speak hokkien or fake the Singaporean accent through), so I have stopped going. Once I was in Geylang around 5pm, so just walked around to 10+ fishbowl places- finally found one willing to give me local price- just not worth the hassle!
If you end up thinking with the little head and do pay foreign price, insist on 45 minutes and a double shot. You can also bargain down the foreign price to $80, paying 2x the old $40 rate.
On the other posting looking for LT in Geylang, it's possible, but not common or economic. The LT price I've gotten is typically 4-5 times the ST price- Thai girl that would be $40 I had to pay $190, and $70 PRC SW wanted $300! If you want a girl to come back to your hotel room, get one in the middle of all the action- the Hotel 81 on Lorong 12 and Talma rd is a good choice.
Makes much more sense to pick a girl ST, particularly since you don't know until you get back to the room whether she is going to starfish on you, or the services. You can always extend for multiple sessions at the ST price, or if you have chemistry, she might even want to just hang out with you longer, since there are not many paying customers at that time. There are also not that many girls out, but you should be able to find something of interest right up until it starts getting light out.

I am not Singaporean or even Asian-looking but have the physique of one. Maybe because I am innocent looking 19 year old?? Dunno, I just walk in the house, tell the OKT the girl I want (in English) and hand in my $50. I have never had a house ask me for $100. Actually, some "unofficial" houses where there isn't a fishbowl but just a line of girls and a cashier still charge $40. Have to disagree really (unless you are talking about accomodation). A short-time in Bangkok these days with a decent stunner is no less than 2500-3000 TBH, which is about 100 SGD more or less. In Geylang, I can get decent Thai for between $S25-50, Indonesian for no more than $S35 and top-tier Chinese for $S100. Then there's the other nationalities which can never pass the $S100 (Viets, Cambodians, Philipinas).
However, as I said accomodation in SG is pretty expensive with the lowest hotels going for $S50 per day (even in Geylang).

If you are getting the same sort of experience for S$25 in Geylang as you are for 2500B in BKK then you're either doing very, very well indeed in SG or you're a poor chooser in BKK. I wouldn't call Geylang sterile, but (mostly) the MO is meet, strike a deal quickly and do the business in a set time (and at S$25 you don't get long). BKK is usually much more fun in the choosing and B2500 goes a long way.
Geylang can offer good VFM but one of the difficulties in relating our experiences is the differential pricing, I'm caucasian and although I'm familiar with the area have almost never succeeded in getting 'local' pricing. In fact these days I've given up trying.
That *doesn't* mean I'm necessarily getting worse value or a white guy can't find a cheap fuck in Geylang. As I've written before I've had an hour for my S$80 in the fishbowls and, although (when I'm tempted) I'm paying $40-$70 for the indons loitering near the soccer ground, I am almost certainly getting longer than someone paying $S25.
The trick is to negotiate with the girl or with the pimp, as appropriate. Be explicit and firm about the time you expect, especially to the guys running the ST rooms. Their pricing might be racist, but you are the customer. These people are in business and are flexible to some degree. It also helps (a little) if you are regular. If on the odd occasion I take a little longer in a fishbowl place I've used frequently, the pimp is usually tolerant.
Geylang does also have a good number of genuine FL and some (when you are lucky) part time girls. As these girls aren't working inside a house or being pimped on the street they are much more flexible in how they can make a deal. You need to be careful when choosing and on pricing, but I've taken girls back to downtown hotels and had a great experience. A few I've taken out drinking and even back to OT to party. At best, BKK style experience and value right here in Geylang.

I agree. ST prices dont differ much Geylang vs. BKG, though one can save a few dollars by Nana hotel area. On a good side, in Geylang, one can find a variety. The problem in Geylang is that there are no good hotels (e.g., at the level of Dynasty Inn Grande).

Do you mean the Indos? They are in full-force by 7 PM. A couple of times I usually found one or two during the afternoon. 5 PM is a little early but you might be lucky.

If you read up on the thread you will find out that their rate is $30 for ST. If you were not generous enough to accept their offer of $60 (which is ridicolous by the way - the girls do not get any customers especially these days) then we would all still be paying the standard, local $30 without much negotiating. The Thai houses (fishbowls) charge between $40-50 (although nowadays it's mostly $50). Some houses - and H66 is one of them - will charge you $100 because you are a foreigner but you can negotiate down to the local price or walk away in which case they might change their mind and will let you in for $50. Works for me.

With all due respect, I believe you are making a mistake here. The use of $, $$, etc, as defined in the "Abbreviations" section, is a way to shows a range not exact number. This is very common in reviews of for example restaurants. When you see price like $$$, that means a minimum of 300 dollars and with the same token if someone put just $, that means at least 100 dollars.
But if you add numbers, then it is exact number. Therefore $50 IS fifty dollars, not 150 dollars. I believe the person that mentioned price once at 50 and once at 150 just mistyped one.

I was bored one afternoon and walked around to most of the houses on Lor 6, 14 and Westerhout, and I went to 20 houses before I could convince one to give me the local rate of $50, and their girls were not that attractive. So you could well pay the $80 rate, as I have, and I would just think you are someone who wants a particular girl or time constrained, not a dumb bule.
Likewise, the Indos on Lor 12 charge $35, including room fee, to go across the street to the dodgy short time rooms. If you are a foreigner, and want to go to the Hotel 81, they are often going to insist on $70. Again, this varies, but I've picked up 20 Indos, and probably paid the $70 rate half the time.
If I pay the foreigner rate, I do insist on my full 45 minutes, while the local rate the girls get nervous if you take longer that 20-25 minutes. And certainly the softer economy makes it much easier to get local rate. But there are simply some houses and some girls that will absolutely insist on foreign rates.

I went to Geylang recently with a local that was a regular customer. We went to a place with about 5 nice thai girls. The local price was $50S for 25min, fine - but for me it was $100S for 25min. This was at a house my buddy went to frequently - No thanks. I was just in Geylang and I didn't visit the houses, just hooked up with the girls on the street. PRC for 7's or above I got a few for 80, one for 30 ( a 7 who was desperate), one for 50 ( a 7 who was desperate). The Thai's I always got for 60. CheersI was recently in Singapore, and stayed at the hotel 81 princess which is on lorong 12. The upside was that it was located at hottie central as far as indonesian and prc girls were concerned. Literally just a few steps out the door I had dozens of girls to chose from, and multiple nationalities as well.
Downside was that the lobby is very small, so you really feel the "walk of shame" past the staff, but they didn't seem to mind. Plus the rooms. Even the "deluxe" rooms are really small, and kind of dingy. If you are planning on using the MRT to get around, the 81 princess was not the most convenient. If I went again I would probably stay in one of the higher number lorongs. Maybe at the 81 gold, as that would put you more in the center. When you book, make sure you get a room higher up. The lower level rooms are rented out by the hour.
I know my way around Geylang pretty well, but on my next trip I want to change my usual routine a bit and I wonder if any fellow mongers can give me any pointers.
I usually visit the houses when I'm in town, but next trip I'm going to be between two flights at Changi. I have nine hours to kill, and ideally I would like to pop down to Geylang, take a girl from the street and get a hotel room. The second part of this plan is, after the girl leaves I would like to grab two or three hours sleep before my next flight.

Just had my first mongering experience in Geylang--highly recommended.
Jumped in a cab and asked him to take me to Lorong 2 (figured I'd start at the beginning and work my way up), but as he got off the freeway I noticed a sign for Lorong 8 so told him that was OK. Information on this thread let me directly to locations in lorong 6. The first one I entered was "666", which, as far as addresses go, is pretty hard to forget. Didn't bother to take note of the address, but it was literally just a few steps away on lorong 6 towards Geylang main road. Have been to Sing maybe 20 times over the years and always stayed in Orchard Rd area in one of the major hotels. I normally visited OT.

Headed out that evening to look around. Its like a real Asian city not the sanitised, concrete shopping malls of Orchard area.
Road outside my hotel had a line of about 100 or more china girls. Every shape and size. I walked the neighbourhood and found an enclave of Thai hooker houses in a parallel street. Next morning my last day headed into town found an old haunt of mine an upscale massage place under a shopping mall in the Orchard area. Had confirmed the directions on the forum. After reading ALOT about the two places here is what I would say: Price wise: edge by far goes to Malaysia.
Police Safety: Both places are equal, although in Singapore Prostitution from licensed places is legal
Quality: Thats purely personal! YMMV
Procurement: I think Singapore wins out here. Although there is abundance in both. Because prostitution is legal in Singapore you know you are guaranteed success without hassles. Malaysia its easily easily accessible, but for a newbie its a little more daunting.
Health: Personal hygiene is most important. But again in Singapore you're guaranteed in the govt sanctioned places that the girls are less likely to have a disease because they get tested regularly.

At last Monday I came from Bangkok to Singapore for a one day and night stopover before flying back to Germany. I stayed at Orchard hotel, booked before via Internet by Asiarooms for around 100 Euro. This is a very comfortable and very good hotel. At 5. 30 pm I went to the MRT station Orchard nearby and drove 7 stations to Alljunied station by MRT for 2, 40 SGD.
Then I walked any minutes, before I reached Lorong 18. I looked in some parlours in Lorong 18 and 16 and Westerhold road, but mostly I saw nothing interesting. The standard rate was 100 SGD for one hour. The girls have been mostly from Thailand there. So I left these Lorongs and wandered through the lower Lorongs, but it was quite empty and I didn’t see many girls. Only in the restaurants between Lorong 10 and 4 I saw some girls, mostly from China, but a real stunner I couldn’t see. And mostly the girls have looked bored, when I tried to get in eye contact. I just want to post a small warning about pimps in the small street that connects Lorong 18 & 20 (next and parallel to Geylang).
A nice looking thai girl approached me and told me 30SGD for 1 hour. I knew something is wrong (and this happened to me before). She called her pimp and he told me 30. After I gave him the money he told me 40 - I knew where it is going. I told him just give my money back and he told me no. Since this happened to me a couple of times before (I was there a month ago), I was cool. I told him that I will go to the police that was on Lorong 18 if he didnt give me my money. He started yelling that I touched him and police will arrest me. A number of them came and tried to scare me.
