What's SXM like for Christmas and and New Year's? Do the girls leave and go home or do they stay to make money? If they go home, where is home. Medellin? If you guys could go anywhere (any country and no family) for Christmas and New Year's where would you go?

After a great first night, I decided to go back the next day for an extended session with Paula at Carolina's and with Tania at El Capitan. Just one cruise ship in, so I opted for Carolina's in the early afternoon. Took Paula back for a one-hour session. $6 for the room key and $100 for Paula. I stopped back on Thursday afternoon to discuss the possible evening TLN, but she was out for a TLN and day session and I decided I did not want a tired girl for the evening. You will see a green sign as you descend the hill with a left turn to Middle Princess Quarter, or straight to Oyster Pond. Stay straight and continue down the hill. You will pass Rose Hill Estates on the right side which has a long, low height, stone wall fence facing the road. The first structure you will see on your right is a massive, concrete building with a Goldenrod color. This is Sunset Retreat and there is advertisement on the outside wall as you approach. There is a narrow, steep street just to the right of the building where you can part. Or there is a poorly maintained parking lot across the street. Sunset retreat has two bars. The small upper bar where you enter from the narrow street is open around noon, but not until 4-7 pm do girls assemble there in casual dress. But you can still ask for a girl at any time when the bar is open. At 7, they dress up and go to the larger lower bar, where entrance is through a large wooden gate fronting the main road and across from the parking lot. I stopped back a couple nights later around 9 pm A few locals hanging, and a few others. Probably 15 or so DR girls. I decided to have a beer and talk to a few of the girls. They were active and having fun. This bar has multiple dance areas with a central stage, and a couple of pool tables. Fairly large space rimmed by comfy couches and a decent bar area. I would place the overall quality of looks somewhere below the Defiance ranges, young and a few that I would have taken back with me if I decided to stay there. The usual $50 sessions here, and no time limits. Not sure if there is a room key charge. I did not feel uncomfortable being there, and the girls were a lot of fun in the bar.
I then went down the road just a short ways and found Casablanca on the next driveway on right. This is a long driveway up the hill to a very large, white concrete building. A white concrete wall lines the driveway as you head up to a large parking lot at the top. The name is on the side of the building facing the road. They have a website that shows the large bar area. Really nice. I arrived in the afternoon. Probably 10-12 Dominicans around the bar and I was the only patron. Girls are available from noon through the evening and as many as 20-25 there in the evening. Approached by Kendra, who was a statuesque chocolate beauty. Probably 5-10, with long, soft hair. I would have repeated with her if I had more time on this trip.

my apologies to anyone who thinks that i have been too long-winded on my posts this week. just understand that i learned many things about how to play successfully on st. maarten and elsewhere from men kind enough to share details about their own experiences. this is my way of giving back and helping those who want to come here and have a great time, and to share things that have worked well for me.
some other tidbits that may help in your planning or experiences on st. maarten:
traffic: the small road construction project on the philipsburg side of simpson bay is finished. the new "bridge to somewhere" that goes from the curve at the far end of the sxm airport runway across the lagoon to a point near the dutch / french border, is almost completed. expected to open in december, it is now likely to be sometime in january. it is supposed to ease traffic burden through simpson bay, and provide an alternate route if there is a bridge opening at simpson bay. you will be able to cross the lagoon and then turn right toward cole bay and follow to the circle that gets you heading up and around the hill to philipsburg. turn left after crossing and you will be very close to marigot. many of the mammoth potholes on the dutch side have been patched. there are still three large speedbumps heading past little divi on the shortcut road to philipsburg, and several on the road that crosses the salt pond on the way to petite chateau, crystal and carolina's. these bumps are hard to see at night, so be careful if you want to avoid damage to your car or teeth. also, the road past defiance which takes you to sunset retreat and casablanca has a concrete stormwater gully about a foot deep and two across that is just a tire width off the right side of the road. major car damage if you run off there.
cruise ship schedule: go to portofstmaarten. com to find out what is in town that day. plan your travel times and club times accordingly.
hotels: there are guys that are always asking about places to stay. one place to look is redweek. com. this website lists timeshares that are available for rent directly from the unit owners. in simpson bay, right now, at royal palm you can get a 2 bedroom / 2 bath oceanview condo 12/13-20 for $850, or 1 br / 1bath oceanview 12/7-14 for $575. at the atrium, you can get a 2 br / 2 bath condo 11/9-16 for $700 or 12/28-1/04 for $1200. at the pelican, you can get a 1 br / 1 bath for $650. these are all very nice places at a fraction of the daily rates you see on expedia or elsewhere. simpson bay is a good location. many restaurants, bars, dance clubs, casinos in walking distance. about 20 minutes to the clubs near philipsburg. you can walk to bada bing or red diamond strip clubs if that is your thing. philipsburg is a ghost town at night, so look elsewhere. all deals are made with the unit owners, and you can always try to negotiate a better deal. getting the girls into these places is no problem.

Ten days on the Island and felt the need for some more play time, so I broke away from my vacatioin group and set out yesterday for what would be my second visit to one of the clubs. Since I'd already been to Carolinas, I figured I'd try Seaman's, Defiance, or El Capitain. As there was one cruise ship in yesterday, I tried Defiance first as it was the farthest from the Port and might be less crowded and also because I'the gotten a message from a friend that Valentina at Defiance was a good bet. Got there around 12:30 pm and found I didn't have to worry about any crowds, as the place was as empty as empty can be. I will be arriving on the island via NCL EPIC on 11/26 (Tuesday). Ship will be in port from 8am to 6pm. I would like to visit Carolina's as I have been there twice in the past. In the past I had a SO with me so I go whenever I could shake her. This time I will be with a buddy who wants to visit it as well. Any suggestions for the time, to minimize the number of customers but maximize the number / quality of the girls? And what is 30 minutes running now? I haven't been in 6 or 7 years and completely forgot the costs.

Carolinas opens at 11 am It won't get hopping until around noonish, or until the bar starts to fill up with people such as yourself, and / or cruise ship staff. Also, as posted before, you need to check to see if there are other ships in port that day which will add more patrons to the club. For 20 to 30 minutes its $3.00 for the room and $50 for the chica. As a baseline. You can negotiate more from an upsell, but fifty is the going rate for your basic service. Beers are still $2.00. Crystal Club is across the street so you can bounce back and forth with no problem if you find nothing to your liking. I was a bit disappointed with the talent at Carolina's during my latest visit in September. Seems like some fellow posters have had some positive things to say about El Capitan as of late. So you might want to taxi it there directly from the pier. Also, when you're leaving Carolina's, you may ask your cab driver to stop at Le Petit Chateau so you can do a quick walkthru, if you've still got the energy, or your visit to Carolina's was a total bust. The place is dark, but here it's nearly all locals and you might find a diamond in the rough. And I emphasize the term "rough". Plus, there's no room fee during the day and you can negotiate the rate downward with relative ease. I. E. $30 to $35 if its real slow. You can either have your driver hang around. Buy him a couple of beers, or from here you can easily walk back into town and catch another cab to the pier, or for that matter, I'd walk back and take in Philipsburg, stopping for beers sold by the street vendors every few blocks along the way. in anyone's recent visits has there been any asians working girls?no, in the ten years i have been mongering here. none in the brothels nor strip clubs. there are a few chinese businesses rep001tered around the dutch side, but no amps that i am aware of. this island could use one, and i am certain it would be popular. if asian girls were to be added to the colombian / dr mix, it would force me to stay here for the rest of my life, certain to play out my remaining years in a utopian playground. while i love the asian women back in the us, i thoroughly enjoy the girls that are here. i have met a couple of panamanian girls at the brothels here over the years, but none from other latin countries. the strip clubs have eastern european girls, among others, but no asians.

Which is different than the one you guys have been looking at. Not sure why they are different.
I will have to go shopping on the 25th. FYI to visitors to the island; when shopping through all the shops downtown, the further you go from the ships the better deals you get. The closer shops (to the docked ships) the pricier they are. Be sure to check out Back street.

Given your few posts, it was just a nudge in that direction. You are correct that there are several (6) cruise ships scheduled in on the day you arrive. As ClubTed advises, your time is limited to play at the clubs and the traffic in the club is likely going to be heavy. Carolina's has roll down doors on the club entrance, which are usually opened between 10 and 10:30 a. M. The bar is being prepped for the day and the girls are filtering into the adjacent restaurant for breakfast. You can sit at the bar, without being bothered by staff. You may find a tempting offer from one of the girls on her way to the restaurant. I had two offers while sitting waiting to take Paula out for the day a couple of weeks ago. It was around 10:30 a. M. Carolina's will certainly be crowded the day you are there. More than any other club, this is where I see the most cruise ship staff hang out-mostly Filapino sitting at the tables in the middle of the bar. The girls here do not circulate very much, so grab a beer and head over to the side of the bar next to the restaurant. Many of the girls sit on stools or stand in that area, so get into some conversations with them while you scan the talent. El Capitan opens at 12. Lots of fine talent here now. Light to medium to dark skin Colombianas. 20-somethings, and a range of body styles. Much easier to circulate here. When crowded, some of the girls hang by the door where you walk in or sit along the wall to the left. Again, grab one and take her to the bar, or grab a drink and go mingle with them. $10 room fee for hypothetical 20 minutes. But I found the girls here were plenty generous with the time in the room for the $50.
If you have an urge for girls from the Dominican Republic, I would head directly to Casablanca. It opens at 12 and has some attractive women, mostly darker skinned and a bit older, with larger frames and a bit more junk in the trunk. No room fee and $50 gets you an unrushed session. I had two great sessions here. It is only about a mile past El Capitan on the main road.
Your ship departs a bit later than the usual times, so you may have better selection toward the end of the afternoon if you hang around 3 pm

I think a lot of the Philipsburg shop / business owners live there. You'll definitely need a rental car. Depending on where you're staying it's a quick ride to the Suckergarden region (I. E. Where the casas are). You'll be close to Philipsburg also. If you do go into town you'll have to get there early as the free parking lots near the police station fill up by 9 am And basically stay that way all day until evening. Heading out of Guana Bay (taking a right away from Philipsburgh) will lead you to Defiance / Sunset Retreat / CasaBlanca and then the French border town of Oyster Pond. There's a decent video on YouTube of Guana Bay Beach. It's fairly private and off the beaten path and has a surf since it's on the Atlantic side of the island. (unlike the tranquil waters of Orient Beach though, which is sheltered by a reef). Great view of St. Barth's as well. Once you settle in, you'll be close to all the action, unless you're craving the strip club scene. Then, you'll have to hoof it back over the hill through traffic to make your way to the Simpson Bay area, which I'd personnally pass on. Let us know how you liked staying in Guana Bay!

El Capitan opens at 12. Lots of fine talent here now...Just to add to Scubatoos comments. If you do venture to CasaBlanca in the afternoon, upon arriving, you will feel like you own the place! Aside from a couple of locals that might be inside at the time, the place is free of tourists in the afternoon. I've spent many afternoons drinking beers there and having fun, right at the bar almost as the only patron in the place! Girls there will snuggle up to you and basically manhandle you with foreplay with no problems from anyone whatsoever. It's the reverse of you going to a strip club and being watched by the club managment for inappropriate contact! Some of the girls here are so aggressive, there actions border on sexual assault! LOL! The only downside are two points. First, the aggressiveness of some of the girls can also be a detriment. In other words, when you walk in, if one not to your liking gets to you first, you're going to have a tough time shaking her. Especially if you spy something you're more interested in. So you need to work on your exit strategy to get away from the chica. That's what I love about this place. You actually have to turn girls away! Second downside is that not all the girls will be out and about. This place stays open until 5 am And some of the real talent will still be hunkered down in the afternoon resting from the night / morning before and gearing up for the new night. I've been here in the afternoon and then returned later at night and it was almost an entirely new lineup. Some quite stunning. There should be enough in the afternoon though to keep you're head turning. Here it's good to have some command of some basic conversational spanish since most of the domincan girls speak little to no english. Beers are $3.00 here now. Also, you may want to not pay your taxi driver until you complete the roundtrip back to the pier. In other words. When you get dropped off set a time to get picked back up, since this place, unlike Carolina's doesn't have drivers hanging around outside during the day looking for fares. If you get dropped off and get stranded, you'll have to walk to either the Oyster Pond Resort or the Westin, or Mr. Busby's Beach Bar to get a driver to take you back to the cruise ship terminal. So plan your return accordingly. Although personnally, I wouldn't mind being stranded for a few weeks at CasaBlanca! And again, as Scubatoo mentions, your experience will be unrushed, since it won't be the production line atmosphere that will exist in Carolina's that day.

ClubTed, you are right on about Casablanca. Having been to St. Maarten many times but never visiting this club, I was pleasantly surprised on my visits here in late October with how many attractive girls in the house and with how good my two sessions were. I was there in the early afternoon both times when 10 or so girls were in the bar. But I was told that as many as 25 are there in the evening. I was unable to work out a way to get there in the evening, but will do so the next trip down.
The Dominican girls are aggressive and latch on like a lamprey eel. Really important that you establish alpha dog attitude, as they can sense weakness pretty quickly. So take command and you will have a ton of fun with them. Knowing a bit of Spanish does help this process along, but some of the girls have decent English capabilities.

Remember, the number of cars on the island is at an all time high. Plus, these lots are used primarily by people that work in Philipsburg, that's why spaces don't free up until the end of the day. Just by looking at license plates, (anything starting with an R is a rental) you can see the cars are owned by citizens of St. Maarten. And remember, Phiipsburg is more than just cruise ships. It's the seat of government with many government employees in town, it's a banking center, home to the Post Office, stores geared for the locals, (I. E. Supermarkets, appliances, department type stores) as well as a couple of utility companies. Not too mention all the shops on Front and Back streets. And hey, there's even a Quiznos in town now! You may get lucky and find a parking spot on the one way street that ends where the police station is, or there's a pay lot that borders the government building, KFC and the police station. It's just been my experience that the free lots fill rather quickly regardless of whether cruise ships are in port.

I have been seeing Sonya room 17 at Carolinas every day. Very beautiful, very hygienic- world class BJ.
Each time winds up to be an hour and a half very well worth the investment.
The last few days there has been some kind of party at Casa Blanca.
The parking lot is full and a line at the door with guys and their lady friends entering. There is a cover charge of $10- to enter, I don't pay to ENTER a brothel. I really wanted to plug into Flacka but I assume the party will be over soon although it was going on Friday-Sunday so far.
I skip Sunset Retreat as the parking lot creeps me out.

I entered the club but no one knew her. I was trying to slip in and slip out without Sonya seeing me. Then someone said she was in the restaurant. I called her phone and she was at the first table. An absolutely stunning blonde with an amazing figure and beautiful smile greeted me. I had not had dinner so we ate together. The food at Carolinas is quite good. After we ate we went to the room, I would highly recommend her. Although Overall between Sonya and Jennifer it is a tough choice but I would go with Sonya. I tried to exit quickly through the restaurant, but the door was closed, and as luck would have it Sonya was at the door-SNAGGED- lets see what happens tomorrow.
El Capitan has a few specials Tanya is very good. I first met her in 2008 on a party on my boat, she still rings my bell, she is rather jealous as I also went, at the owners suggestion, with Beronica- a very tall thin Domincana- you can't go wrong with either if you have game.

BTW I want to thank everyone for all the good intel at St Maarten!Moats1979, I hate to break this to you but you are now on the opposite side of St. Maarten in a place known as Cupacoy, not Simpson Bay. Your prior location was close to the French border on the east side of the island, and only a few minutes from the brothels. This one is close to the French border on the west side of the island. Your closest strip club is Platinum Club in Maho. To get to the brothels, you will pass through Maho, pass the airport, pass Simpson Bay and then have 20 minutes from there to get to the brothels, if little traffic. Depending on traffic, it could be a 45 minute ride from Sapphire to the brothels. The Sapphire rooms are decent, but the beach is non-existent there-washed away by a hurricane many years ago. But there are nice beaches at Mullet (by the golf course) and as you go toward and into the French side. Remember, the cruise ships leave the harbor by 5 or 6 p. M, so evening traffic over to Philipsburg should not be too burdensome as the town has nothing of interest in the evening. My experience has been that the clubs are not too crowded between 8 and 10 p. M, so you may want to target that timeframe.

The plus side of the Sapphire is that you are in a very vibrant area for regular night life, close to casinos, dance clubs and restaurants. It's good for an active / party vacation. Guana Bay is very quiet and laid back, more of a residential area. Great place to kick back and relax. I think there is a restaurant at the club and maybe a snack bar on the beach but for anything else you'll have to go to town. But it is only a few minutes away from Philipsburg where there are plenty of good food choices. Or ten min the other way to the Dawn Beach area for more food and entertainment.

On the island since Mon Nov 11. I have some chica reports to follow but not like my detailed reports from last November.
Dutch King & Queen are on the island and causing traffic roadblocks & detours. I sat in traffic for 20 minutes near Phillipsburg and slowly inched the car forward only to discover that the police were redirecting all the cars to turn around. Annoying but tolerable. Word is that they are leaving tomorrow the 14th.
Weather is less humid than last November when I distinctly remember entering / exiting places & having my sunglasses fog up. Now, not so much. The ACs don't have to be maxxed out in the hotel room or in the club. While I have never been on SXM in the bottom of low season or the top of high season, I chose November again due to it being the ramp up of high season. Less people & still kinda quiet, but at least the restaurants / shops are now open and the chicas are plentiful.
Mon Nov 11 was S. Martin's Day which is a big celebration across the island. By the salt pond area of Phillipsburg, tey had some kind of mass gathering with fireworks. Being a glutton for punishment, I decided to drive by it on the way to Carolinas. Dumb idea. Plenty of happy folks and another 20 minutes wasted siting in traffic.
Carolinas has been busy. I got there yesterday Tues Nov 12 at 11:05am and it was full of girls & guys. Today had 5 or 6 cruise ships arrive, so I decided to not visit Carolinas and instead check out the talent at El Capitan. As Mel had said, Seamans is open for business & they moved some chicas from Carolinas to Seamans. I got there at 12:15pm. The music at Seamans wasn't too loud. I was the second or third guy to arrive. I was also the first or the second (I really think the first) to take a chica for a session.
I had Dana at Seamans #107 for the half hour. She is a 5ft to 5ft2in spinner with meat on her bones. Not fat at all. Fair skinned Colombiana with blonde hair down to the mid-back. The last 12 inches of her hair is dyed blue. Cute lips, nice teeth, small C natural breasts with a great body.

The clock says I slept 6. 5 hours but I am quite tired. I cooked her breakfast (scrambled eggs, sweet potato hash, spinach) and dropped her back at Seamans 9am. $70 for the bar fee & $500 for her. Expensive but I don't do it for the quantity of sex but for the quality of the whole experience.

Indeed it appears that there is a 2ndlevel above the bar but it is not at all finished and raw concrete and timber is all exposed.
At Seamans, I bought the chicas a round of drinks and took up Mel's advice & gave them a massage. Today's chica is Jenny from Seamans. Half-Colombian & half-Japanese. Slightly Asian look with Asian eyes. Big enhanced breasts, good sized back-side, & red-brown hair about mid-back in length and probably in her 30s. She provides good service & I enjoyed my time with her, but she will try to upsell anal sex for $100-$200 additional. I think the upsell is an attempt to make more money as the place is practically dead. With Seamans just opening up, and only having about 8 girls present, it makes it difficult for this place to grab the attention of guys. So previous reports may not be accurate. I know for certain that yesterday Nov 19, Jenny, moved from Seamans to Carolinas. And that today Wed Nov 20, Natalia will move from Carolinas to Seamans.

MelI was a little surprised by this comment. I've been to Casa Blanca at least a dozen times over the past 3 years and have never felt the least bit threatened by the environment. That being said, I usually go in groups of 2-4, so I'm never alone. There was an occasion earlier this year when 3 of us went inside while one of our group had to hang back in the parking lot as he was feeling pretty ill. He was out there for a good 20 minutes throwing up in the bushes by himself. Not the smartest decision any of us had ever made, but he did have the bouncer checking in on him. Eventually the bouncer just helped him come inside to join the rest of the group. Maybe we've just been lucky.
But since we're on the topic, the one place I did not feel safe in (and have therefore only visited once) was Defiance. Two of us walked in one evening, and we were immediately the objects of a dozen male eyes staring through us. We literally walked out backwards.
Another experience with safety concerns occurred in 2012 at El Capitan. Two of my buddies were still inside with their chicas when they started to close down for the night (it was about 3:30). All the lights came on, and they asked everyone to leave. Wow, does the atmosphere ever change once the lights come on! Almost all the chicas were having what I will call "heated discussions" with some male employees. It was pretty uncomfortable to say the least. I told one of the employees that I was waiting on a couple of friends so I would just go and wait outside. He immediately disagreed with my plan and made me stay inside until my friends came out, citing that it wasn't safe in the parking lot. I was pretty thankful and appreciated that the club was looking out for my safety. Eventually one of my friends came out. We were told that there were no other customers in the building. He escorted us to our car, where we found our 3rd friend fast asleep in the passenger seat.
Part of it is naivete mixed in with a little bit of dumb luck, but part of it is also contributed to a local population that is, for the most part, one of the friendliest anywhere. I'm sure many here would agree.
Lorena, at Seamans when I saw her. Slim petite spinner all natural 26 years old, straight hair is naturally black but dyed dark maroon. Sweet sweet girl. Really did spin when changing positions. If you are gifted with extra size, you may get denied access. We had a discussion on penis size after the session. Enlightening but hilarious. Saw her twice.

The cost per chica is crazy dirt cheap for what you are getting. $106 for an hour of possible GFE but not always. It really depends on the chica & your ability to communicate. Just about none of them are going to BBBJ by default. I did not name who did as I know that each girl is different & may not do it with you, thus YMMV.
Regarding their interactions with guys, many of them act out a script of sorts. Mel hit it on the the head with the script in heavily accented English: "What joo name? Where joo fron? Joo want sucky sucky, fucky fucky?" Its at that point it is up to you to demonstrate that you are not just another random guy who would find a robotic fuck-doll to be enough. Or maybe it is enough for some. But it isn't enough for me. So my spanish has picked up compared to last year. Its not like I can discuss politics in espanol but I think I surprised a number of the girls. I compliment them & joke with them. With the ones that I didn't find that attractive, I at least tried to be polite. If you hang around the club enough, the chicas will talk to each other about you. Based on other conversations & looks, I am certain that they were talking about me after I had left for the night.
I know its hard for married guys or guys coming from the cruise ships, but if you can, shower just before going to the club. Oh and being clean shaven on the face & down below helps tremendously. They aren't saying it out loud but I can tell they appreciate proper hygiene & grooming. The idea is that most guys do not want a machete to hack through a girls Bush to find the hole, and similarly a girl does not want to find stinky dick or swamp-ass on a guy. I understand if you have a significant other & can't groom too much or then she would be clued into something going on.
I switch between 2 different cologne & got a bunch of favorable comments in English and Spanish about smelling good. Multiple times I was asked what brand cologne as it is a famous designer but not a scent that you will smell everywhere. Shakira from CasaBlanca guessed my cologne correctly. Impressive.
I try not to be cheap and instead be generous as I can afford it. The exchange rate of the US dollar to the Colombian peso makes it so that a $5 or $10 tip is something of worth & is appreciated. One day I brought 24 pieces or $50 of KFC fried chicken to Carolinas. Another day I brought pastries to Seamans. Buy the girl you are interested in a drink. Even buy the other chicas drinks. Offer to buy drinks after you gave them fried chicken. It works.
If you can, give tips. One night in Carolinas, I accidentally left my watch in the room of a chica after a session. So I found another chica not busy and asked her to take me back to the desk-side & talk to the desk lady. The desk lady let me go knock on the chica's door. I got my watch back with a hug. I then gave the chica who assisted me a tip of $10. A couple nights later, I wanted to find Jennifer to do a TLN. One chica Patricia (Patty) told me that she had been Jennifer's roommate and then Jennifer had moved to Seamans. I thanked Patty & tipped her a $20. Then I was off to Seamans.
In closing, I want to thank Mel365 for his guidance & friendship. I would like to thank the other knowledgeable guys that have contributed to this thread. I don't know when I'll be back but hopefully in 2014.

Saying that you never had problems at Casa Blanca is like saying you smoked 3 packs a day and never got cancer. When the chief inspector tells me that, I listen. I go to casa Blanca but take extraordinary precautions.
Defiance is owned by the friend of the chief of police. You will not have problems there.
El Capt is also owned by the same fellow. Just use your street smarts and you will not have any problems.
If you feel uncomfortable in any bar, ask one of the bouncers to walk you to your car and give him $5- he will remember you and take care of you thereafter.

I was a little surprised by this comment. I saw 2 locals sitting in the car and clearly watching me as I was walking to my car. I returned a few days later and saw same (or similar looking) guys in the car again. Back then they didn't have any security guards or bouncers. I didn't feel safe and stopped going there at night. A few days later the local paper reported that armed robbery took place on Casa Blanca's parking lot: money, gold chain, and a car were taken from a club patron. Again, that was many years ago. Since then I stopped going there. When I feel an urge for Dominicanas, instead of Casa Blanca I try to get to DR for a few days.
Defiance: before it closed for "renovations" there was a murder on the parking lot. Happened around midnight, probably 30min after I left the club. There was a disco full of local teenagers in the same bldg where Defiance club was. After disco ended someone got shot.
Petit Chateau: witnessed a fight on the parking lot (drug deal gone bad?) where a firearm was shown, but not used.
From everything I've seen myself or heard from others, it's safe inside the clubs (unless you get really wasted and [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) someone off) but the parking lots, the alley between El Capitan and Seamans, and the "shortcut" from Seamans to Carolinas are not safe.
A chica was also killed by a patron in the room at petite chateau about 3 years ago .

What follows is random notes on my time in SXM.
I remembered Mel's warning on either Defiance or CasaBlanca, but at the moment of driving, I forgot which club he had referred was the more unsafe one. At CasaBlanca, I looked around & tried to use my head. At night, I carry nothing of value with me or in the car. Rubbers, breath mints, a wallet with some cash, a driver license & a credit card. All which can be replaced. There were very few cars in the parking lot when I went. There were only 2 guys standing outside & I think one of them was a bouncer. If I didn't feel safe, I wouldn't have continued on. I gave the fellows a head nod & a "Good Evening". Inside were very few, as in, maybe 5 guys in the whole place. This was midnight on a Fri or Sat. When I left there were 4 guys outside. I gave them eyes-on & a "Good night".
The alley between El Capitan and Seamans has been cleaned up. It was quite overgrown and narrowing the path for car traffic. On Monday there must have been at least 3 if not 4 guys with machetes, rakes, shovels, leaf blowers all used to trim back the growth and removed the debris and trash. Certainly made it easier to drive through the alley and visit Seamans. Now that the alley is cleared: walking between Carolians & El Capitan / Seamans can be done in the day, but I wouldn't recommend it at night. Just too many unknowns in the dark. Why risk it?

I carry Altoids breath mints with me, specifically the spearmint flavor. The peppermint flavor is wonderful if you just ate onions & garlic but I find it to be too strong for my palate. Most if not all chicas had never seen it before & I offered it freely. I brought three of those metal tins with me to SXM and gave away 2 of them.
For the TLN & TLD, I made the chicas breakfast. I enjoy cooking & since my hotel room was setup with food & cookware, I found it to be an effortless task. I know they appreciated it.

thanks br for some informative real time posts regarding your trip to sxm. here are some additional thoughts i'd like to share regarding safety outside of the clubs, since i think we can all generally agree that once inside. unless you're a blithering idiot. you will have no problems whatsoever.
daytime around the clubs should pose no problems, but then again, anything can happen, anytime, anywhere, so you need to always be aware of your surroundings. and basic rule #1 regarding your vehicle is never leave anything inside regardless of value. a bag containing beach items may have no value, but the person busting your car window to get at that bag has no idea of its contents and could care less about smashing a window. years ago i stayed in philipsburg and had parked on back street and left a beach bag on the car front seat only to get to my vehicle the next day and see the smashed passenger side window.
having your wits about yourself is also key. presidente' beers go down real easy. especially if you're a beer drinker like me, but they do sneak up on you. when pulling into any club parking lot you need to look around, know who's around, and not be afraid to look someone in the eye. also, having a sense of purpose and confidence. i. e. knowing where the club entrance is and walking directly to it as opposed to wandering around looking lost is key. also, taking a leak in a remote part of a parking lot isn't a wise idea, unless you're in a group. nothing wrong with the facilities in the clubs. although you're not going to find any bathroom attendant working the john!
in all my years of travelling to the island i've always flown solo. and luckily i never had any problems at any of the clubs at all hours of the night / morning. that's not to say that i never felt a bit uneasy travelling from parking lot to club to parking lot. furthermore, if you're at a club at closing time, things can / will be no different than any place that has been serving alcohol to people all night. think of your local / favorite bar back home and what closing time is like back there. a night of drinking is a recipe for parking lot problems after last call anywhere! here's my take on the safety of each club's parking area:
le petite. crater ridden parking lot. usually some locals hanging out in the front of the club. there is a ante poolroom before you get to the bar and with music playing this acts as sort of a buffer if things did happen outside. you need to park as close to the front of the club and get in and get out without much dilly dallying here.
carolina's / crystals. the activity in front of these clubs lends itself to being the times square of sxm. plus there is another local outdoor bar next to carolinas. as long as you park either in front of carolinas or no deeper than 4 or 5 spaces down on the side of the building across from the sports center, your pretty safe here. in fact there is so much activity here you can walk across the street from carolinas to crystals at any time with no worries.
el capt. the walled parking area sort of compoundish seems pretty secure. plus there's usually a security guard working and the parking lot isn't huge so he's pretty much aware of what's going on.
seamans. the one way in one way out road seems kind of trappish to me. plus the guy sitting on a chair at the entrance (alleged security) never made me feel secure. you're off the main road in the back if something were to go down, so you need to be extra vigilante in this lot.
now as you head to the last three clubs i am about to discuss keep in mind two things:
1) you are venturing at night to clubs more frequent by locals and less so by tourists and 2) you're coming to a deadspot of the island from a police perspective. nearest police are in downtown philipsburg and you're getting right up to the french border and the gendermames won't be called for a problem on the dutch side of the island.
defiance. parking lot is big but it has some dark spots. sometimes the place is packed and parking is a problem. again, try to stay as close to the entrance as possible.
sunset retreat. probably the club with the most challenging parking which will increase your heart rate, even for me at times, despite being an experienced visitor. aside from the rocks and the unimproved condition of the lot, it's sort of like off site parking. you're in the middle of nowhere when you exit your vehicle. you then have to cross the street and make your way up a steep set of stairs where a bouncer sits to wand you, if you look like you need to be wanded. be careful crossing the street back to your vehicle as cars fly by here at high rates of speed. when pulling into the lot scan around and look for anything suspicious in the lot. there should be noone hanging out in this parking lot. if they are, they're looking for trouble. this is purely a lot where you drive to. again, look around at the bottom of the stairs after you leave the club before you cross the street to assess the situation in the parking lot.
casablanca. another moonscape parking lot. try to park close to the entrance. they have a security guy working the door. don't hang out in the lot. there's usually alot of commotion near the entrance at night between chicas crowding the door, the security guy and usually a few other guys just hanging around.
and as in anywhere you travel you don't want to draw unnecessary attention to yourself. leave the gold chains and gold watches back home. at casablanca try to blend in as a local that lives in oyster pond, rather than a tourist staying wherever. the dam rental cars with the r as the first character on the license plate don't help any of us out much. it's like having a bullseye painted on you already for a local crook to prey on. i must say that i've become more conservative over the years and very rarely hit the casas after midnight. i'm an early riser and tend to be an afternooner / 9 pm. 12 pm club visitor. hopefully this provides some additional insight into parking at the clubs for fellow forum members!

the alley between el capitan and seamans has been cleaned up. it was quite overgrown and narrowing the path for car traffic. on monday there must have been at least 3 if not 4 guys with machetes, rakes, shovels, leaf blowers all used to trim back the growth and removed the debris and trash. certainly made it easier to drive through the alley and visit seamans. now that the alley is cleared: walking between carolians & el capitan / seamans can be done in the day, but i wouldn't recommend it at night. just too many unknowns in the dark. why risk it?.

Saying that you never had problems at Casa Blanca is like saying you smoked 3 packs a day and never got cancer. When the chief inspector tells me that, I listen. I go to casa Blanca but take extraordinary precautions.
Defiance is owned by the friend of the chief of police. You will not have problems there.

However at least on android platform, Google's own Translate app can download languages so that they can be used offline in airplane mode. I used it a couple times toward the end of my trip. Certainly made it easier to figure out what she wanted.

Seamans. The one way in one way out road seems kind of trappish to me. Plus the guy sitting on a chair at the entrance (alleged security) never made me feel secure. You're off the main road in the back if something were to go down, so you need to be extra vigilante in this lot.About 2 or 3 years ago, I was in Seamans with a girl in the afternoon. When I came out into the entrance area, there were a lot of policemen blocking the one entrance and no one could leave. This was the whole reason why I would not do TLN again. I have no idea what they will do with it. They don't bother to say they 'destroy all the info a week later'. Well since we're on the safety issue, I thought I'd share this story from my last visit to "The Friendly Island". I arrived on the island, picked up my rental car and made my way to P'Burg. We'll last night I was tired and rested my weary head for a little bit. That was around 7:30. Next thing I knew it was 1:30am. Yikes I missed my mongering hour. I was not going to go out that late so I wandered the beach for a while and went back to bed.
Next day I was going to go back and pick up Rosie for the day, but foul weather killed my plans for pinel island. I decided to hangout at the beach and dodge the rain drops. Around two-ish I mastered the plan fucky fucky Rosie at around 3:30 and offer to take her back to mi casa for siesta then dinner before bringing her back before Ocho. (Jumping forward in time: She said yes to it but left me at the front steps. I guess she no comprende)
Back to details. When I drove up all the chicks where on the front steps outside talking. Great time to see what the chicks looked like. I got out my car and walked slowly so I can see everything. Bodies were not too bad on a few. What I call near spinners. As I approached the door. One chica was dancing for me and was being a shark. I said no I was looking for Rosie. Of course they were all."No Rosie me baby". I still checked out the talent prior to entering. Once I was in the door another shark was reads to grab me. I said no looking for Rosie. That shark stepped aside quickly. Then I realize that was so easy because Rosie was standing behind her. I got a big hug and kiss on the lips and escorted to the bar for a warm up drink. What I call a get me hard before we go back. No room fee. I'm happy about that one. We went back and she cleaned the shaft and then herself. This time I got a nice massage. That when into a BJ that led to all the positions guy is looking for. Sorry skipping some details. It is about to rain. I popped on her back and I was a very happy camper. Also quite sure there are more than 2 Jennifers and since the girls might know another's real name and use it in conversation, it can get confusing when trying to keep track of them.

In all the years I have been to St. Maarten, I have never heard of anything on the French side worth pursuing. Perhaps others know something I don't. If you find something, let us know.

Okay, so my buddy and I got off the cruise ship and headed to Maho Beach hoping to catch the KLM 747 landing. While on our way, we heard over the taxi driver's radio that the KLM 747 had landed ahead of schedule. Undaunted, but disappointed, we disembarked and grabbed a drink at the bar. Several prop plans and a few smaller jet engine planes landed just over our head in the 1. 5 hours we were there. We also "surfed" the fence when a 727 took off, and let me tell you, it was an incredible experience. After that we grabbed a taxi to Carolina's, and wouldn't you know it. Once we were in the taxi for a few minutes, the 747 taxied away for a take-off. So we missed it coming and going.
On the way to Carolina's, I asked the driver about El Capitan, so he took us to it instead, as it was just about a 100 yard walk from El Capitan to Carolina's. The plan is to grab a drink at El Capitan, check out the talent, and then walk to Carolina's via the road and sample some of the talent there. I was sure that Carolina's is where we wanted to be at ultimately, but I did want to scout out El Capitan in the short time we were on the island. Okay, so once the taxi pulled into the parking lot at El Capitan, a beautiful caramel skinned beauty, who was outside with 3 or 4 other girls, came up and grabbed me by the arm and ushered me into the club. I know. I know. I broke the rules, by lettering her take charge, but DAMN, she was gorgeous. She was about 5'2", about 120 lbs, and D cub breasts, and a absolutely gorgeous face, and a thin waist.
I was mesmerized to say the least. So I bought her a drink (Corona I believe) and realized that we might not make it to Carolina's after all. She flirted with me, put my hands on her breasts, rubbed my crotch and did everything she could to get my motor running. It didn't take long, and she was offering 30 minutes for $60. Thanks to this forum, I knew that was high. So I countered with $80 for 45 minutes. Not the best deal in the world, but I wanted to spend more than 30 minutes with this goddess. Just on a lark, I said "Cali" and he eyes lit up."SI!" she said. Probably scored a few points on that one, just taking a guess.
She took off her clothes, and damn, she was fine. I say again, damn! Her breasts had a slight sag to them, but still spectacular. And her ass, well, it is the finest I have ever seen. The skin was so smooth and supple. No marks anywhere that I could see. Her kitty was clean and very presentable, with light stubble. I took some lotion and gave her rub down for about 10 minutes. She liked it, and wasn't expecting it. Once we got down to business, her performance was good, but not great. Once we were done, I just held her for about 5 minutes, knowing I would probably never hold a woman this beautiful again. When we get back to the bar area, she still hangs around me, hugging me, and letting me buy her another beer and hanging off of me. If she was trying to milk me out of drink money, she was doing it in the cheapest way possible.
I would probably repeat with her, but it would depend on the other options available. But I have no regrets either.
Back in the bar, I couldn't locate my buddy. I asked Tania to ask the bartender if he had gone or was with a girl. He was with a girl. About 5 minutes later on, he emerges with a beautiful brazillian girl with very light skin. She was an absolute knockout with large boobs, but I think Tania was more beautiful. But either way, you could not lose.
We were nearing the hard time that we had to leave, so we grabbed a cab and headed back to the ship, skipping Carolina's. Sad that I didn't get to Carolina's to show it to him, but that might make for another trip.
I spent a lot of time dwelling on her name. Now maybe you see the joke and maybe you don't. But here is how I confirmed it. While walking on a beach in Nassau, I saw two beautiful Latino women in bathing suits taking pictures of each other. So being the friendly guy I am, I offered to take a picture of both of them. (this rarely fails to strart a conversaton) They were from Mexico and were there for the day from one of the Carnival cruise ships in port. I asked them what Ikea means, and they replied "here". I looked it up on the Internet once I got home and it's spelled, aqui'. So she was telling me that her name is Alejandra, but at El Capitan, she was going by Tania. I started suspecting my mis-understanding that night, but the Mexican women confirmed it. So, as it has been said here before, knowing even a modicum of Spanish would make the experience even richer for a guy.
A few notes:
I didn't pay a room charge. I am struck by how forward those women were. WOW! You can read about it, but you really have to experience it to understand. Also, I didn't spend a lot of time looking around, but I did notice several good looking women working the club. I don't remember seeing one that I would object to having a session with. If there was an ugly one, I didn't see her. The club had about 4-5 guys in there, other than my buddy and I. All but one of them were locals, and the girls didn't appear to interact with them much. My buddy's girl (he never got her name) spoke decent English. She did not like it at El Capitan. She had danced in NYC, and could do out-calls when she wanted to there and was in charge of her time. She was going home to Brazil when her time was up, never to return. It wasn't working out like she had been told it would, with Management pushing for high production / output. But she treated my buddy like a king, and he left exceedingly happy.
Thanks to all who have posted before, but specific shout-outs to Mel365, Scubatoo, Big Riddah, Buckon89 and ClubTed. Your posts were invaluable to me.
We will need to coach you up a bit more before your next visit to St. Maarten, LOL. You now know why most of us can't wait to get back there. And having Tania as your first score, awesome. So you now have the private memories that will last a lifetime. Friends will see you sitting and staring out into the ocean with a little grin on your face wondering what you are thinking. We know. You just have to keep them guessing.

Glad you had a good one day visit to SXM. Not sure if I would have ventured from the cruise ship terminal all the way over to the airport to see the 747 land, but if you got a jump on the day. Then no harm done. Guess you might have missed the landing though. It is impressive to see. Just watched a show listing the world's most dangerous airports and SXM was #4. St. Barth's #3. The international airport in Honduras #2, and Lukla in Nepal #1. Youtube has some great videos of all of these airports (take offs and landings). A Brazilian in El Capitan? Wow, never heard of that before. Columbians and Dominicans have always been the flavor du jour. But hey, SXM is alot closer for me than Rio and if Brazil is invading SXM. Fantastico! Yes a day visit to El Cap. Usually has the chicas hanging outside or just inside the doors. And they pounce! Lucky for you you had a winner / spinner! It's so dark in there during the day it takes a couple of minutes to have your sight adjust and by the time you make it to the bar. You're latched on! As a purist (this being the original Seaman's Shrine) , I've never ventured to a room here under the new name. But per your post, sounds like you and your buddy had a positive experience here, which is what it's all about. A couple of random info tidbits. The SXM airport website lists all plane arrivals and departures, so you don't have to rush to Sunset Beach Bar and look at the surfboard. Also. There are a couple of island based newspaper websites that give daily news stories about SXM, specifically about the crime occuring on the island, which a vigilent visitor, shouldn't discount. Most of the incidents seem to be localized, but things have escalated to a point where you need to look over your shoulder at all times, even in paradise!

I have been on the Island for a few days and have visited Carolinas and Seaman's. Both have lots of good looking ladies. Carolinas is definitely the busier of the two clubs. I spent two great sessions with Joanna at Carolinas. She speaks a bit of English which helped make it more of a GF type experience. She gave good service and has not had any kids so she is very tight. Her cousin is working there as well and is very appealing. I am going to have to sample her before I leave. Both are tall, (in shoes) pretty and well proportioned.
When I walked into Seaman's I was immediately approached by a girl I had been with in November at Carolina's. Her name escapes me at the moment but she has been recently mentioned on this thread. (Tania I think) She to was very friendly and accommodating. I felt kind of bad for her having been moved from Carolina's to seaman's. There were only two other guys in the bar when I arrived and by the time we went to her room I was the only guy in the place. There were probably 8 to 10 girls and a few were very attractive IMHO. If you go there have your game on because you are going to get pounced on quickly.
I wanted to comment on my El Capitan experience in November. This club has a noticeably different vibe than Carolina's or Seaman's. The atmosphere is more sexually charged. The girls seam to invite intimate contact. While in the other clubs that will purposely brush their boobs against your arm or hand, grind their ass on your happy parts and occasionally grab the goods El Capitan girls go further. They will grab your hands and place them inside their tiny tops or shove them down their skimpy G-strings. They will aggressively bump and grind on you. It's like someone said earlier on this thread; it is everything you would try and get away with at a strip joint back home with out getting thrown out. Here the girls are the aggressors. Ya gota love it.

I read about this on one of the island newspaper sites. Seems as if Dutch St. Maarten has begun a spraying campaing in certain sections of the island and has alerted local residents. Check out either todaysxm. Com or st-martin-news. Com or just google st. Maarten news. Not a good thing to be happening during high season. It may be more prevalent in the interior of the island as opposed to the beach front areas, but nice heads up for those travelling to SXM. Take whatever precautions are necessary. Don't let a skeeter. Land on your. Well you know what! LOL!

I had 10+ bites on my legs. Happened when typing up my trip report for this site. (no WiFi in my room. Only the main building)
I had a pretty large red pseudo-rash around each bite. At least 1. 5-2 inches around. Took about a week for it to go away. I had no other symptoms so I assume I didn't get chikungunya. When I got to my room I realized I forgot to my repellent.
I suspect all the rain they had while I was there & after I left helped spawn the mosquito population.
I believe I got bitten by the mosquitos that live under Jimbos in Simpson bay.
It is horribly painful. I was hospitalize for 2 days on Morphine and prednisone.
I now never leave the boat without spraying. Many restaurants also have bug spray available.

I get back on the road and continue to Carolina. (drive time is about 2. 5 minutes from Downtown.)

I used an offline map app on my phone since I didn't have Internet connectivity when I first arrived. I pulled all of the GPS coordinates off of Shark16's map and input them into my map app on my phone to help me find the clubs. On Android phones, you can download an app called MapFactor Navigator. It's clunky but it's free and it gets the job done.

Re black-out image: She looked at me and my camera so I had an overly clear image of her face. I just blacked-out all of her. (although you can see her when I initially drove down) The other images were less clear.

(the video) I drove right past it and didn't recognized it. They actually changed everything, out front, from the time I was there. I am not sure which driveway to go up or if each driveway is one way up and one way down. (I am sure someone else will chime in)
Casa Blanca is about a 1 minute drive past Sunset on the right side of the road.
Photo is a bad one of the property. There is construction just out of the frame.

I've read a lot here, but do any of the chicas dance / strip at the bars? My only experience is the chica bars in Baja California where 50% of the girls would formally dance and strip. It provided a great preview while saving me money and energy in the long term. The dancing helped elevate the party atmosphere too.
What is the difference in travel time to Carolinas from Orient Beach and Simpson Bay this time of year? I'll be traveling soon and accomodation options are slim. Though I'm traveling solo, this is not specifically a mongering vacation for me but I would like the convenience of the Suckergarden bars. I could stay at Divi, Great Bay, or Oyster Pond for the first few days and then move. PITA to split 7 vacation days between two hotels.
Orient pond you are at Casa Blanca . It is about 1o minutes. To carolinas, el capt etc,, you will pass sunset from orient on the way to suckergarden as well as Defiance.
The other hotels are 5 minutes or less.
Simpson Bay, depending on traffic could take 15 minutes.
The chicas do not usually strip in the bar, some dance clothed. however they are quite aggressive at Casa Blanca and El Capt and you can get to feel the merchandise and get groped usually.

On your face, I do the Orient Beach to Carolina drive. Takes about 20 minutes. (depends how you drive) and I do not go past Casa Blanca or Sunset when doing the drive.
From Carolina: (look at google maps when reading this) take suckergarden left onto Bishop Hill (it's perhaps 3/4 mile after Defiance). Straight through the roundabout (McDonalds there too) and drive through Orleans Quarter drive up a windy road / hill. Big hill. Orient on the right at bottom of hill (before driving back up hill)
When staying in Orient Beach. Be sure to drive over one night for dinner to Grand Case. Expensive places there but a few very cheap places. See the attached map. Just look for the chicken or ribs being grilled. Be sure the euros are one to one on the dollars. Beer is cheap.

I can't decide if I want to spend 6 nights at eastern Simpson Bay or at Orient Beach. Life can be difficult sometimes. Haha!
I like simpson bay more than the French side, plus late at night the traffic is minimal.
If you can get a good rate at Divi-that is my favorite place to stay.

Been to St. Maarten 3 times, and had a great time each time. Unfortunately, the friend I usually go with can't make it this time. I am looking for a wingman to hit the brothels with, or possibly stay at the same hotel or timeshare with, and split the hotel and rental car fees 50/50. In my experience it is much better going to the brothels with a friend rather than solo. I am planning to go down from Toronto sometime in Jan or Feb. Anyone want to hang out or perhaps split some costs?

What is the difference in travel time to Carolinas from Orient Beach and Simpson Bay this time of year? I'll be traveling soon and accomodation options are slim. Though I'm traveling solo, this is not specifically a mongering vacation for me but I would like the convenience of the Suckergarden bars. I could stay at Divi, Great Bay, or Oyster Pond for the first few days and then move. I can't decide if I want to spend 6 nights at eastern Simpson Bay or at Orient Beach. Life can be difficult sometimes. Haha!In general The french side is quieter at night. Actually very very quiet. (most places are closed by 7pm) nice thing is, during the day more nudity on Orient beach (including myself. TMI?) I stayed at Esmeralda and would walk the beach nude in the very early morning. The beach bar has a nude section too or you can layout at the pool nude. Negatives; People like me nude on the beach. Euro is most popular currency and you may need to pay more then 1 to 1. Food can get very very pricey on the french side.
The dutch side is more lively at night and more of a party atmosphere as there are more bars there. All US currency accepted everywhere. Beaches are more tame when it comes to skin- topless is more rare on the dutch side. Dutch side has more crowded over all (although depends on the property you stay at). That is why Mel recommends Divi. Divi is isolated from all the crowds. Other differences be / w dutch and french- lots of restaurants and more reasonably priced on dutch side.
I suggest when you pick a property. Go to google maps (sky view not road only view) and see where it is and what is around it. I think you'll find Simpson Bay is not ideal.

In prior years, the bar top was hopping with a lot of girls dancing with full lighting. Because the club is very dark, this is a great time to see the girls up close. Big bar with a lot of dance room on top. No stripping. Not like US strip clubs in that guys rarely tip these girls while they dance. But one catches your eye, it is a good opportunity to go sit in front of her and tuck a $5 in her bikini bottoms. She will find you immediately after she leaves the stage. As far as safety, I didn't even think about the fire aspect. I should have made clear that by "safety" I meant drive-by shootings, drug dealing, and people under the influence of different substances that congregate in front of Le Petit, especially on Friday nights.
BTW, there's a "VIP" room on the 2nd floor in Carolina bar as well. Stripping pole, leather couches, sound system. $100+ to rent. If you rent it and buy enough drinks, and bring the "right" chicas, they will strip for you there. Also, the "old Defiance" used to have a "pool party" every 1st Sunday of a month, starting around 4-5pm. Not sure if they kept the tradition since Defiance reopened. Of all so-called "VIP events" that one was by far my favorite. Can someone verify if "pool parties" still take palce?

Ok, Mel, thanks. I know where you're talking about now. I've been up that staircase from the courtyard before, but never up to the VIP area. Parking lot late at night at Le Petit is kind of sketchy. Regarding the pool party at Defiance, I make mention of it in post #4013 from 9/23/12. Not sure if they still have them, but girls from El Capt. And Le Petit were there since it was during their "free time" on a Sunday after 4 p. M, and I think all three clubs are owned by the same person. It was a great opportunity to scope out the talent in the daylight, and the food, drink, and music made for quite a festive feel. The pool is the size of a postage stamp and no one was using it, but the show from just hanging back and watching the chicas dance to the music by themselves was better than any strip club back home. And they still had their clothes on! Boy, can those latin lovelies move! Some backsides were shaking as if they just touched an electric fence!

Wasnt there a period of time, not too long ago, where they were using the VIP as the bar, while the club was being renovated?
In November 2012, there was 'stripping' & 'pole-dancing' (using those terms loosely) at Carolinas. This was during the week on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 10:30pm & 12am. Not every girl participated & each that did would get to do 1 or 2 songs of her choice on the stage. Most of them would start wearing a dress or skirt, & would end up topless with a thong. Only one would get fully nude. Seeing the girls with rhythm & moves & with their clothes off, made it easy to figure out which one to choose. I made a point to chose Erica, this chica in pink, based on her skills. I was not disappointed.
In November 2013, I had heard from some chica at Carolinas that there was going to be dancing after 11pm. I didn't see any. However, I was present at Seamans during the afternoon when a particular girl was trying to choreograph a pole routine to Shakira's "Ojos Asν". Thats all that I know about stripping in SXM.

Made my way over to Carolinas the night I arrived in town. Easy to find with mapfactor navigator app. Seemed very busy and no parking in sight so I continued on to Seamans. Slow, only saw 6 or 7 chicas and 3 guys. Sat at bar and was immediately pounced on by a light-skinned Columbian with good english, a smaller frame and curves. I buy Motorola unlocked flip phones on ebay for about $50-
I use a different colored one for each country.
The tel cell card is good for 3 months and if you keep recharging it while you are on island you can get up to a year. Just keep adding $10- every time you need some time.

My reasons for inquiring if anybody else was going solo, and wanted a wingman are as follows:
1. To split costs. Instead of two separate people paying for two separate rooms, and two separate car rentals, why not just rent a room with 2 beds or a two bedroom condo or timeshare. This is what my buddy and I did and it worked out great. But unfortunately he can no longer go.
2. And going to the clubs with someone else is much better. It is easier to brush of chicks that you are not interested in, and hanging with your wingman having a beer until a chick that you are interested in comes along. Also since many of the girls there speak very little English, it is nice to have a wingman to converse with, as I speak very little Spanish other than the basic common phrases.
3. Safety in numbers is also an added Benefit, however it was not my primary reason.
Anyways if someone is interested in going half on a room, my vacation schedule is pretty open. And if not and I do end up going solo, I would be more than happy to meet up with anyone from this board, to at least hang out with. John, if I end up going while you are down there I will certainly be in touch.

But anyways, to answer his question, yes you can do day or night. I was there on a cruise ship stopover in Dec, I was quoted $70 fee for the barfine, which would apply for either the day or night, and the chica's asking price is negotiable. (my particular girl wanted $400 for the day or night, so $470 in total. When I was there a year and a half ago I did overnights for 300 in total, with a sweetheart named Jolie, and I had the time of my life. Never done a day takeout, but I more than likely will this time, as well as at least one night for sure. As for the best time, to get the most out of your day, you would want to get there when the particular club opens. Your best bet would be to make previous arrangements with her the night before.

You can take them for food or the beach and should not have to pay anything.

On the way back, I decided to take the new bridge instead of going through Simpson Bay. This is so much faster. From now on, I will take the new bridge whenever I am coming from the airport. I pick up Sofia and we headed back to the hotel so I could change. I asked her what she wanted to do, figuring she would want to head out for a drink or dinner. Final Thoughts: Had another amazing trip and I am already thinking about the next time. To all you newbies and vets, make sure to take the new bridge coming from the airport. It will save you at least 30 mins in heavy afternoon traffic. As for the casas, I would say that in all my trips, this lineup at Carolina's was the weakest. There were only a few standouts, Vanessa, Sofia and another girl I didn't get a chance to hit, Julie? The rest were all average or below. The manager told me that there were 25 girls working but I never saw more than 15 different girls. Most of the girls I met should be there for the next 4 months. Seamans, still has a ton of potential to get back to past glory, but isn't there yet. They need to get more girls and improve the atmosphere in the bar. Still too dark and music is too loud. Thanks for all your help!I have only stayed at Divi the two times that I have visited St Maarten and have no experience with other places. I had no issues at all with Divi and found the location, the grounds, rooms & amenities to be quite a bargain for the price I paid. Divi is not far at all from the chicas. During the afternoon with average traffic it is about 15 minutes, maybe 20 minutes with bad traffic. During the night with little traffic, it is under 10 minutes, probably about 7 minutes. Sometimes Divi's on-site gate guards would record the parking pass number when you are leaving / arriving. I usually roll down the window & smile and greet them.
No problems with discretion at Divi. Bringing a chica to Divi during the day or even overnight is not a problem. I did two overnights at Divi this past November and once in Nov 2012.

Thanks so much!I, too, have stayed at Little Divi in the past, but in the condos. It is a great beach and easy to get to the brothels. But if you stay near Philipsburg, your dining options will be limited as Philipsburg is like a ghost town at night. Instead, you will have to head to Simpson Bay, Marigot or Maho, which are in the opposite direction from the brothels and where you will encounter heavy traffic in the evening. If you stay in Simpson Bay, and monger after the cruise ships leave, you will have far less driving headaches heading to the brothels at that time, than heading for dinner toward Simpson Bay. In Simpson Bay, you can walk to countless restaurants. That is why I opt to stay now in Simpson Bay. Just something to think about. Redweek. Com is a good source of condo rentals at sometimes really low prices.

Because of some google maps strange behavior, I had to add destinations to the google maps route generator for it to not go around little bay and add to the length of the trip.
I have not yet read any posts on websites that might confirm that the causeway reduced traffic in the simpson bay area. However, based on the images I linked to, I would like to believe that it would be faster via the causeway which would skip the bridge & Simpson bay traffic.

HoraceTo Phillipsburg and assuming traffic is not bad, I would go the old route. If Simpson bay is backed up I would say take the new bridge.
If heading to the French side. Then the new bridge is the best way to go.

After that, all of the rooms (at least all that I know of) are accessed from outside. I seriously doubt the security guard / parking attendant will give you any problems. I've stayed there before, and while I did not bring back any chicas, I did bring back a few friends and even people we met on the island, and encountered no issues. The beach is really nice there.

So I've been enjoying this island for years. I love how comfortable I feel on it, how relatively easy it is to get around, and how safe I feel. Most of all, I love the chicas. I've always been of the opinion that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's what keeps me coming back.
However, as of late, I've been wondering if there is anywhere else in the world that is just as good for mongering, if not better. Vanessa at Carolina's is a true heartbreaker.

All the answers can be found in recent posts. Just check read from posts starting in January. Take out exists of 2 elements. The fine to the bar and the price you negotiate. The better your negotiation skills the better the price. Take out will vary from 300 to 400 dollars.

I have just had the strangest experience in the 5 or 6 years of traveling to Sint Maarten.
Tonight I decided to stop at El Captains before heading to Seaman's to see a girl I had seen previously. While at El Captains I was approached by a couple of girls but did not partake.

She continued to harass me while I finished my beer. As I was leaving the bar she came over to me and escorted me out of the bar letting me know that I was not welcome there. At least not by her.
After being escorted out of El Captains things improved. I went to Seaman's and low and behold the girl I was looking forward to seeing again was still there. Her name is Jennifer. She is a not tall but blond and big breasted. Two out of three aint bad. She looked amazing and provided a wonderful experience. From now on I will stick with Carolinas or Seaman's. El Captains is not worth the hassle IMHO

I guess from her perspective the whole incident made sense. I am not sure I agree with her. I had just bought a drink for one of the girls that had approached me. She spent quite a bit of time not understanding that I was just there for a quick beer & planned to leave with out going with her for a session. She did a pretty nice job of massaging to boys while she tried to get me back to her room. A drink was the least I could do.
