I agree with Dedalus: I don't think this is any kind of Big Deal Raid! It is more or less a gesture by the Polizei to keep the club(s) under control. This was a light raid. They did not descend in SWAT teams from the roofs. I heard they did not search any male guests or look in the lockers for drugs or anything ...Probably would have found lots of blue pills, eh?They just did a routine check. It was over in a couple of hours, I believe? They just want all the clubs to know: Any time, we might come knocking at your door, so keep your house clean and don't make the mistake of Atlantis. Small raids like this keep the management awake and inspire them to treat the flow of girls who work their club with some care and attention.

It will be interesting to see what if any impact this raid has on Palace in the next few days. I will be there tomorrow night, so I'll drop you a note on Sat to let you know if the vibe suffered. Sat night there is supposed be a big X-mas Party event at Palace. Contempraneous with this is Oase with it's reduced Eintritt (35E), and there are a bunch of heavy-duty Internet posters meeting at World and Palace that same night. As for the passport issue: Well, I always carry a small EU ID card...I would not like to carry my Passport unless I lost it. I really do wonder what the Polizei reaction would be to a photocopy of your passport. I mean: they must realise that any logical person might well not wish to carry their passport around whilst FKKing! It is a legitmate thing, ja?

It is reasonable to have some form of ID, even if foreign. To expect people to carry passports is unreasonable. There is no law requiring it. I suspect they will ask for some documents that would indicate legal entry into the country, i.e. plane ticket etc.

As for the phone call, I think they will call the immigration office to see if you have valid entry into the country and have not overstayed your visa. When you enter the EU, they scan your passport. So, I think you have nothing to be alarmed of.

I was curious to see Palace after the raid and too lazy to train up to World so I went back to Palace Thursday. There was no ill effect, it was dead at 6PM but by 7:30 it was rocking, there was a wait for rooms almost all night. All is well at Palace. >Ortos, this means that I might stay at World with dedalus and fred for the night on Friday. If I do, I will see you at the hotel Saturday morning. But I still may make it to Palace but I am a little tired of it after two days.

I did not think there was a law requiring non-residents to carry their passport, but I am not 100% certain. I always have my US driver's license with me, and perhaps I will now carry a photocopy of my first page of my passport. A plane ticket?? Who would be carrying that around? I would hope that if they were not satisfied with my US driver's license (ID), then they could phone my hotel to confirm where I was staying.

Anyway, I hope I am never there during a raid.

Btw, did the police go thru The Palace and knock on all the room doors to rouse the couples??

i did not think there was a law requiring non-residents to carry their passport, but i am not 100% certain. i always have my us driver's license with me, and perhaps i will now carry a photocopy of my first page of my passport.
in germany there is a law to require all persons to carry there ids, ie. non-residents as well as german or foreign residents. however, there is no severe penalty if you do not have your passport on you. it could cost you a small fine, perhaps 20 euros or so. the only real invonvenience is that the police might arrest you if they have some suspicions about your identity. if so, they will most probably accompany you to your residence or make some phone calls to check your identity. this is not bad, however since it can spoil your night or may cause some unpleasant questions by your possible wife ("where did they get you" or "what the hell were you doing" etc.) it is a good idea to carry your id with you.

If the polizi were closely inspecting a passport, especially one this has been used a lot, to see it if it genuine, would they accept a color copy of the passport? I would not wish to get any more involved with the polizi than absolutely necessary. No good thing can come out of any contact with the polizi.

They also state that you should be able to present that ID if required. I.e. if you don't have it on your person you should be able to go home and fetch it.

As I said, these days the police are able to radio through to the residents database and if your stated name and address match those that they have in their records, then you're sorted.

I've been controlled randomly at an U-Bahn station and I had not a single piece of ID on me. Not even a bank card or mobile phone. Just a bit of loose change in my pocket. I gave my name and address and all was in order.

The German laws are not quite as draconian as I suspect you'd like to believe.

I have said this before, but it bears repeating: If you do not have a valid EU ID, then bring your Passport with you to a club. Not a copy, but the real thing. If you are at a club during a raid, then it will save you bucket loads of trouble. It is no big deal to be at a club that is raided but you do need an acceptable form of ID and the Polizei will recognize and accept a valid passport easier than anything else.

Fair question. The law sited is one that was enacted to combat against illegal workers and "Schwarzarbeit" (or unregistered work that is done here without paying taxes on the income). The section of the law (the damn thing has 23 sections and God knows how many sub-sections) deals with a foreigner being required to surrender his/her Passport, residence permission, etc to customs officials in the event of an investigation. Here is the actual law and perhaps a native such as Novize can check my reading of it:
"Ausländer sind ferner verpflichtet, ihren Pass, Passersatz oder Ausweisersatz und ihren Aufenthaltstitel, ihre Duldung oder ihre Aufenthaltsgestattung den Behörden der Zollverwaltung vorzulegen und, sofern sich Anhaltspunkte für einen Verstoß gegen ausländerrechtliche Vorschriften ergeben, zur Weiterleitung an die zuständige Ausländerbehörde zu überlassen."

Now, would this effect a tourist? Most likely in the event that you were stopped on the street in Frankfurt (not really likely unless you are acting a complete and dangerous ass) maybe just a foreign drivers permit or and explanation that your travel documents are at the hotel would do. A backpacking tourist or even an exec in Germany on business is not so interesting to a Polizei official. If it is an FKK raid, then the law is looking to investigate the activities there, or better said control them. They cannot know that you are either a tourist or in Germany on business other than by taking your word for it, unless they can check your passport. One check of this document and you are OK.

Fly Bob, this (Germany) is not the US (Just to make things clear, I am an American) and while that may sound like a rhetorical statement, we sometimes forget that things do operate differently in other parts of the world. I am sure that you know this. Police controls, while usually painless are not uncommon over here, and everyone is supposed to have proper identification on their person. I would not expect the average German police to recognize a Texas driver's permit, but they will recognize a US Passport.

And I agree with your assertion that Germany is just different. It is definitely not a police state, though. In many respects the police is more restricted in their actions towards citizens than in the US, and the normal citizen actually has more rights. Germany cannot hold its citizens without a trial, for example. However, police is supposed to have the ability to check your ID. Also, if you are living at some address in Germany for an extended period of time, you have the obligation to register with the police. (All of this was put into law after WW2, by the way, under American guidance.)

Sex trafficking is a huge problem in all of Western Europe. And Dedalus is right, magazines and newspapers write about it all the time. I just read a harrowing tale in “Stern” about a girl from Ukraine being forced into prostitution. It made me feel like cutting the dicks off the guys who did it, too.

For what it is worth, I was taken to the police station during Oktoberfest after a little "misunderstanding" in the Beer Hall that evening. (nothing serious really) I spent a total of about 2 hours in the slammer until they sorted out the "misunderstanding" but they did relieve me of my posessions and put me in the "cooler" for that while. (I needed the rest after what seemed like 5 liters of beer)

The only ID I gave was my USA Driver license. No problem with them. In fact aside from all the beauracracy the German Police were a very nice bunch of guys. They never asked for a passport.

The only problem I did have was that they forgot to give me my license back with all my other things.. so I had to make arrangements to get it returned, which I did.

I am not carrying my Passport on me anywhere in Europe when I am socializing. If they want to see it so much they can escort me back to my hotel and let me retrive it from the safe in my room. This was not my experience though. I hope this helps. Just one man's experience.

Sorry it took so long after the event to get this report out.

I was at Palace when the Polize invaded. The place was packed and humming when they came. I had just finished a session when they came. They pretty rapidly and firmly herded the women into the upper bar area and the men into the lower food area. They then escorted the women 1 at a time to their lockers to check their ID. Tbe men got in line at the reception desk to have their ID's check.

All in all the cops were VERY friendly. There was quite a bit of confusion amongs the non German men regarding what we are to do. It turns out that the men who wished to leave could put their clothes on and have their ID checked on the way out the door. Quite a few men decided to leave. The rest of us stood around in our towels trying to figure out what to do. There was confusion regarding whether we had to have our Passport or whether other ID's would be accepted. Turns out that they took all forms of ID. Passport, drivers licence, even student ID's. After your ID was checked and logged a cop would escort you back to your locker to secure your stuff and then escort you into the bar area to wait, and wait and wait.

I was told by a cab driver later that they did find one girl who was Romanian(?) but had a forged Greek passport. She was cuffed and taken away.

After about 2 hours the cops thanked everyone for their patience, the girls and guys applauded and cheered and off they went. It took about 30 minutes for the place to get back to its normal vibe.

All in all it wasnt a bad experience. I got to hang with some other American guys and share experiences which I normally dont get to do.

Being German, I have used my gym member card or "BahnCard" (Rail Ticket Pass) as an Ersatz-ID, they did not like but I stayed polite and offered them to get it a my place at which point they said its ok we got a job to do. OTOH if you are from, say Albania or Moldavia it might be a good idea to have your passport with you.

Sucks, but thats not he cops fault. Most of them are nice guys who might even envy you bit in a positive way (I have met a few cops socially and they were pretty open-minded folks. Heard some nice stories about parties at police training grounds, but thats another story).

Also keep in mind that he way the laws are enforced varies quite a bit by the Länder, as a rule of thumb, the more north or west you go, the more tolerant and common sense you can expect the police to do their job. Hmm, I'm not from the US, but isn't it kind of the same there?

Arrived there with a collegue around 3 p.m., I found a very quiet and sleeping atmosphere due to the many women in the common area and very few guys around.

DedalusYes, unfortunately. I got accused of continually "snarking" at others. Banned, end of story. Apparently Gary didn't think the $300 USD worth of business I put his way, or the fact I was a supporting member, or the fact I kept all his personal and private details sacrosanct, was enough to prevent an instant ban during his clearup of the AMsterdam board.

Basically the FKK posts i did were all OK, but I had one too many arguments on the main Amsterdam board, which in my opinion was getting trashy and I publicly sriticised him for not cleaning it up. So he did, and me with it.

So now I will keep in touch by email, my old freinds, like yourself, and Fred, Pepto etc. and put my trip reports on here and keep my nose clean. Axxxtw can go to hell.

On another board recently I posted some very in-depth negative reports about Palace. the only good girls seem to be booked up consantly. I found the place absolutely terrible.

The Romanian girls at FKK World rule the roost there and they definately are all GFE providers with a good average level of service.

I know Fred and Daedelus are big fans, but they understand my point of view as they were with me in Palace before Christmas and witnessed what I went through. (And smelled it on one occasion!!)

The "processors" are usually eye candy and they only plan on working a short time. Thus, the goal to earn as much as possible. Since the price the girls charge has not gone up, I think there is a temptation to give less for the money. Boards like this keep things honest. It doesn't take much before the processors get on the avoid list. When times are slow, the value girls know the regulars will pull them through. They are the only ones that don't have to beg for sessions when there is no Messe.

I made it OK, but on 9th Jan. I didn't report because there was nothing exceptional really.

Palace is located in the Industrial section of Hausen, maybe 4-odd kms outside central Frankfurt. So how far is it from the Airport? About 4-odd kms further than it is from the Airport to central Frankfurt.

The least expensive way would be: Take S-bahn from Airport bahnhof to Frankfurt Hauptwache (two S-bahn stops beyond Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof), about 3.10E one-way. Get off at Hauptwache and change to the U-bahn, line 6 or 7. Take that four stops to Industriehof and you are a 5-minute walk from Palace. Maybe you should invest in a Tageskarte (Day Card for the S-bahn) that will allow you to journey back and forth on these metro trains all day and night!

Note also that a taxi to Palace from, say, Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is about 10E...

Flying in to Koln/Bonn from Liverpool (first class of cours) on Easyjet, I picked up my Aston Martin DB5, cunningly disguised by “Q” as a Renault Modus from Europcar. The likeness was incredible.

Apologies for this much delayed report from the Palace!

This was the day after the end of Heimtextil Frankfurt 2006, referred to by Toscana a few pages ago. Public transportation from Hauptbahnhof (the main train station downtown) to Palace:

Take the U4 line bound for Bockenheimer Warte. Ride through one stop--Festhalle/Messe--and get off at the Bockenheimer Warte stop.

Transfer to either the U6 or U7 line. (They follow the same route for as far as you need to go.) Take either the U6 line bound for Praunheim/Heerstrasse or the U7 line bound for Hausen. Ride through these stops--Leipziger Strasse and Kirchplatz--and get off at the Industriehof/Neue Borse stop.

Walk to the front of the train, descend the platform, turn left, and cross the tracks at the crosswalk. Continue in the crosswalk to cross the street. You will be facing a brown stone wall with graffiti on it. Turn right, keeping the wall on your left, and walk a short distance until there's a gap in the wall. Turn left, walk through the gap, and keep walking for a block. Cross one more street and, after a short distance, you will see a Palace sign on the building on your left. Walk around the back side of that building, through the parking lot, and you will see the entrance on your left. Walk up, and the desk attendant will buzz you in the through the gate.

There is currently road construction going on in front of Palace, but this won't affect you if you're riding the U-Bahn rather than driving.

Visited Palace twice over the weekend. My favorites were not there but there were plenty to choose from.

Thanks for your very useful report! Just an opinion or two here:

I don't think it is fair or indeed accurate to paint all Romanian girls, or girls from any country (even Germany for that matter!) with the same brush. True there are many Romanians who possess the attitude and performance characteristics you describe. But there are also some Romanians who will offer you amongst the best sessions you can find. Two striking examples at Palace are: A) The somewhat plump, yet very GFE-oriented raven-haired Christina (a very popular girl who will deliver and make you believe not all Romanians are that bad...); and B) The very attractive blonde-haired Daniella, who can sometimes deliver extremely good sessions, but than might turn around the next time with a fairly lack-lustre performance --so she has problems with consistency.

Spent two nights

Perhaps because it is so convenient for the infrequent visitors to Frankfurt, ie Messe meisters, this pool of inexperienced customers attracts the more predatory and lazy girls. I know you have posted detailed accounts of your bad experiences at Palace. But I really think you have it all wrong. There are some really great girls there, but there are indeed a large number of "processors." But I got news for you: you can find processors at every club, at World and Oase too.

I look at Palace, and all clubs or mongering venues for that matter, as giant minefields. You just got to study the girl selection landscape and make sure you don't step on a mine.

So you visited Palace fairly early in your FKK career. Now you are more club-savoy, more street-wise. Went to the Palace on 2/20. Much easier to get to than World or Oase. There were about 30 girls there, two-thirds of them blonde. If you like blondes, this is the place to go. I do open my eyes every time I go to Palace, believe me. And I like what I see! And I tell you I ain't into plastic tits and craggy faces any more then you are. I don't know how many times you've been there, but I've been to Palace maybe twenty times. It remains very,very high on my list as a club, mainly becuase of the women there. Its OK to laugh at her balls, and say we should expect what we get, but to me its dishonest, bad practice, and it needs stamping out. This is exactly what I am talking about. Management at Palace should have done something about this girl a long time ago.

It is an argument that can go forever because it is so tainted by the last / worst / best etc. session one had. When naked in a room with a girl, you are in vulnerable position sort of say...naked. Kind of betrayal or an act that shows a total lack of empathy from the girl will leave a very sour taste in your mouth which is hard to overcome no matter how strong of a case you build with arguments of how great the club is. IMHO, Mike will probably only reconsider his view of the club if he experiences a couple of great sessions there without a sour one during the visit.

That beeing said, I had about 50 sessions last year pretty evenly distributed over the three big FRA clubs. If I were to go tommorrow, I would have a hard time deciding which club to honor with my visit as I find the difference in quality so little. Palace is lacking the outdoors, World can be utterly boring at times and Oase facilities has a bit of a hygenic problem (and of course the fucking strobe light), but I have not experienced any difference in the girls attitudes or work ethics based on which club they are working in.

As for the responsiveness of management towards complaints, I think Palace is not any more or less responsive than Oase. Based on reports, World seems to be the only club with a bit of a consistent record of taking complaints seriously. I remember reports going both ways at Oase and Palace, but I do not remember negative reports towards World in the complaints dept.

Visited twice last week, Monday and Saturday, circa 7 pm till midnight. First impressions were dire. The lady at the reception was very unfriendly and curt, and looking round quickly, there seemed on both occasions to be more men than women, and a pretty unsightly lot. The men were all short, Mediterranean types and the woman seemed to be chain-smoking. The facilities looked cramped and the bedrooms (of which there are a mere 14) were mostly in use with people queuing. There is no pool, just a medium size jacuzzi, and a rather smelly 'hammam' area.

My first encounter was with Lina from Prague, and that started off badly, with Lina trying to rush me into a room before I had properly looked at her. I asked if we could talk for a bit and she replied bluntly 'I don't like talking, I don't like cuddling, just sex'. But she is a good-looker so I agreed to go into a bedroom with her. Her attitude then changed, she became much more relaxed and we actually got on well and spent one hour together (100 euros).

The next one to catch my attention was Jenny, a German/Polish lady, medium build, quite friendly, and we had an average to average plus session of about 20 minutes (50 euros). Third (and the high point) was a German lady called Sandra, from Dusseldorf. Lovely, soft skin, good attitude, very pleasant BBBJ, 30-40 minutes, 50 euros.

The Saturday visit was ok, though the venue was nocticeably more crowded and people were waiting a long time for rooms. Had two sessions with a Slovakian girl called Tiffany, wearing nice denim boots. First in the cinema, then in the VIP room, where two other couples were doing it virtually under our noses. But that was nice, a leisurely screw with Tiffany while almost touching a sultry blonde who was performing acrobatics with a guy next to us. Nobody seems to mind if you stare at them, and of course they are free to stare at you.

Finally a superb young German, Jacqueline, only 20 or so she said, nice, friendly, the only problem was that we could not find a room and ended up in a kind of broom cupboard which did not have a bed so we did it standing up and eventually collapsed on the floor. Jacqueline is very attractive and was good, but I think I would have preferred to service her in a more comfortable location. She said she is from Frankfurt, only works Saturdays, seems to be more of a hobby than a job for her.
