Panama is currently having trouble with electricity due to the drought they're experiencing. There isn't enough water for the hydro-electical plants to operate at full capacity. This is my first posting on the international side under this name. I posted here years ago about Paris saunas and swing clubs under a different name and have some reviews on the other side under Wrong Places in the Ft Myers section. I've also spent time in South America playing before I even know this site existed. My point in all of this being that a first post doesn't necessarily mean new to the game or writing about it.
This was my first trip to Panama, which I immediately thought of as 'Latin America Lite' Modern buildings and hotels, good food if you're willing to pay, air-conditioned taxis, a fair penetration of English-speakers and no mental math needed to calculate dollar costs of things. I think it's a great place for guys reading these forums who are thinking about Latin America but who don't want to jump into the LA deep end on their first trip. Yes, it's more expensive than what it used to be and yes, it's more expensive than some other places and it doesn't have any beaches right there. But in exchange, someone with little LA experience and language skills can have a good time with light-complected Colombianas in a safe place that's a relatively short flight from Miami or Houston. Just remember that virtually nothing goes according to plan, even if the plans were made ten minutes before.
I did, however, have two big advantages over most other new visitors. I stayed with a friend who's lived there for years and is fluent in Spanish and he knows a bunch of working girls for introductions and friends and family discounts. He knew at least one in every place we went.
Those places included the usual suspects of Habanos, the Veneto and Ashe dance club. Lots of good looking women in all of these venues but none who caught my eye enough to make me want to spend the money. I'm not one of those cheap bastard mongers who squeezes every dime but the $100-200 it would have cost me isn't a trifle either and I simply saw no one I liked that well. I don't have the fetish for 19 year olds nor do I Holy Grail for the perfect 10 and almost all of the girls in these places look too hard-eyed professional for my taste. Many were very attractive but I need more than pure looks. I had no interest and did not explore any of the massage places.
My friend suggested a trip to Bocatoreña and it turned our to be an inspired choice of venue for me. Bocatoreña is a candy shop where everything is still a nickel and I have a twenty dollar bill to spend. There's at least one of whatever you want in a girl. Classic tight Latina bubblebutt? Got them. Thin body but fat butt and things? Got them? Four feet tall? Got them. 6'4' and thin? Got at least one. 19 years old? 45 years old? Got them. A cups, B cups, C cups D cups DD cups and fully pneumatic? Got them all, pay your money and take your pick. We also went to La Mayor and a couple of the little places around the corner but none could touch Boca for pre-purchase interaction with the girls and the sheer number and variety of them.
Boca is $15, not $20, for 15 minutes. The girls get $10 and the house gets $5, two condoms and two Dubble-Bubble pink pieces of soap included. And if you're the schmo who gets a cubicle without all-purpose toilet paper, it's an extra buck for delivery of a new new roll.
If you're shy about your intentions while getting to the place, you can have the taxi take you to 'Habana' club and then walk a block the way you came to where you'll see all the people hanging out. And always negotiate the fare before you get into a taxi wherever and whenever you're going. The Boca neighborhood was full of police doing I'd checks on pedestrians. I didn't have my passport when we got stopped because I don't like carrying it in neighborhoods like that. The amusing thing was that I could tell simply by body language and tone when my friend and the cop shifted into hard nosed negotiation. I was saved both cash and a trip to the station when the boss showed up and let me off for being an ignorant gringo first-time visitor.
I sampled about half a dozen girls over two evenings, looking for the combination of looks and attitude that would want me to spend time in a more refined setting. Which, BTW, would be pretty much any other setting. On Saturday night I met a Colombiana MILF who attracted me on first sight. After the tasting I got her digits and then spent much of Sunday afternoon and evening with her out on the Amador Causeway (nice place to take a girl on a weekend afternoon) and back at my friend's apartment hanging out with him and his GF. It was much better the second round without anyone banging on the door after 15 minutes. And afterward, modern Latinas being modern Latinas and wedded to their Blackberrys, I watched her text all of her friends while trying to figure out what she was telling them about me. A quick note about technology. The vast majority of the girls have Blackberrys and are incessant users of Blackberry chat or whatever RIM calls its proprietary system. If you're really interested in texting girls and know Spanish, go for a cheap Blackberry and a local pay as you go SIM. I used WhatsApp through my friend's WiFi to avoid AT&T's $20 / Mb international data roaming rates. Google Translate works well for me, even with the Spanish vernacular the girls use.
Does anyone know if Doubletree, Hilton Garden or Crowne Plaze near Veneto are girl friendly? I got some points that I would like to use in Panama. Any insights would be appreciated. I search around the forum but found nothing. Thanks

ThanksSorry, No, No and No. Although you can always try to sneak someone in at your own risk, with the exception of the Veneto (which is "loosely" part of the Wyndham chain) , virtually all of the chain hotels don't want to be known as welcome to punters. My favorite place to stay is still the Torres de Alba apartment-hotel, across from the Veneto & next to the new Hilton, great value for $,"guests" always welcome, $15 charge if she stays overnight.

Oasis also still in the massage business in lower level of shops across the street. Also check out the new mgmt in the club next to Oasis (just re-opened as American Bar Venetto) , they're offering bottle specials before 10p to chicas in groups to add to the variety. Habanos cigar bar across from the Marriott usually has good variety, again from 9:30p on. Be sure to bargain (within reason) , going rates are a lot higher since your last visit in 02 (e. G. She'll want $200, but accept $100-150 depending on looks & time of night). Golden Times girls have become pretty mechanical as to quality of service, don't go directly there in a taxi if you don't want to pay extra for a finder's fee to the driver.

In Casco Viejo there were two places that I know of, Bocatoreno and La Mayor. I used to like La Mayor but I believe they are closed now. Pricing was $15 or so for 15 minutes and $30 or so for 1/2 hour. Other places are La Grota Azul, Relax Oriental and Carribean something or other.

Panama can be a very frustrating place to visit and make new friends it seems every time I'm here the scene changes. There are now many high end hotels in Panama. The high end hotels which are friendly to overnight guests you may bring in are Hilton, Trump and Hard Rock and Radisson but the Hard Rock and Radisson charge you $100. It seems like a scam to me usually some people behind the desks handle these transactions while others will not. The security guards seem in on it and usually patrol the doors with the transaction slips where they approach you and escort you to the front desk. I feel no shame in the registering thing it just pisses me off that after booking for double occupancy they would find a way to unfairly shaft you. There are many ways around this of course, just stay at a cheaper venue or avoid the hotels that do charge. The HIilton and the Trump will not stress you for those of you that wish to stay for your own reasons at a upscale hotel.
It was explained to me that the hotel charge issue mirrored what happens in Colombia having never stayed at a hotel in Colombia only apartments I cannot comment. I was also told that the rise in popularity of the Veneto and Habano girls has led to the hotels stepping up their game with regard to security. Free lance girls have been bad in the past in many hotels. During TLN things laptops, money and other valuables went missing which led to the hotel guest and hotel getting into conflict over whose fault it was and usually there is nothing that can be done. With a girl from an established house like Golden Time or Elite its not a problem to find them again and usually these girls won't do that sort of thing. Free lancers can disappear and reappear within the confines of their stay in Panama. Hence the reason for the registering at the front desk. Some time ago the Radisson security would call your room at whatever time of night or early morning to enquire if all was well while the girl was stopped at the hotel door. Still does not explain the hotel scam charge as I like to call it but it is part of the problem of profiteering over the mongering scene in Panama the next culprit is the taxi drivers and they are by far the worst.
On a recent visit for the first time ever I was refused TLN on all occassions at Golden Time. Golden Time opens at 7pm and should be your first stop if possible many a diamond in the rough I have found there including an incredible beautiful paisa that blew my mind for 4 days some time ago after I met her I could not see anyone else which is rare for me.
The no TLN at Golden Time troubled me greatly I knew there was more to it but could not at the time understand why. I spoke to 3 girls in the line up. 3 quite attractive girls and they all refused. I was by the way stuck with a red sticker on my way in and thought this may have been the problem but this happened almost everyday I went there for my entire stay. I did session in Golden Time because of one particular hottie there and it was great. I spoke to her about TLN and she refused but agreed off record to seeing me during the day. You may not have the same experience with TLN as I had so for sure you need to visit Golden Time it still reflects best value for money. The girl I had the great session with had an incredible body and Kim Kardashian look except not as fat. She explained that Golden Time cut the girls hours particularly on a Sunday when they work only until 1am. TLN on a Sunday was not worth it because the house only paid them until 1am so less money for the TLN. Girls from Golden Time can find themselves taking home at most $200 for TLN which is strictly 4 hrs or so. This is not worth it for them and the house is happier with chicas inside than out. The way around this for those of us that simply must have that special girl is to negociate with them extra fee. TLN is $350 after the house take even $100 more can make the deal for the girl. This I agree is not the option for the budget minded visitor but for others you can still have what you want.
Elite is always so much fun. The $30 cover charge is a waste because it only covers very few drinks all very cheap. Watch your bill here as the waiters can be crafty. Very nice girls here and surprise there is a mix of colombianas and dominicans both attractive. Took home a lovely girl from Elite and have no complaints she stayed till late morning, BBBJ was on the menu sex at night and in the morning playful and passionate, we had a few drinks in the bars before hitting la cama. Take a private dance if you would at $30 in one of the private booths to check out the goods with your eyes and hands then decide and pay the bar fine after checking your bill and leave. Pricey but worth it.
Le Palace is simply the best, the only places that come close are in Buenos Aires and La Mansion in Bogota which I hear may be closed. The pricing is high but simple. 2hrs for $300 plus bar fine of $140 drinks bought for the girl you take out are deducted from the bar fine so do check to make sure. TLN is $500 plus bar fine of $190 drinks for the girl you bar fine deductable. The best quality girls in Panama. I always have an amazing time and I have been lucky since the first years to choose girls that give great service. Treat them well buy a few drinks, relax insist that, quiero buen sevicio, servicio primera clase and negociatewhat you want. This is most important at whatever price point to detemine what you want and what she can give. Some girls speak english. I formed an attachment to 2 girls that were amigas that I saw most / all of the time and we got along fabulously I never saw them both on the same night because I have my monetary limitations but I got everything I could have wanted passion, DFK, BBBJ, super sex and even CIM after the first couple sessions. I also really enjoyed their company despite my spanish not being up to par. Very good fantasy stuff I live off the memories daily. Chemistry obviously helps so don't treat her as just a puta the latino guys do that well enough.

Certain places are very competitive such as Le Palace. Here the girl has to pay the taxi $50 when she leaves with a person he brought in. The effect of this is simple places like Golden Time offer no profit for the taxi driver who gets very little in comparison if his passenger leaves with a TLN from Golden Time hence the reason it was super important for my guy to get me to Le Palace every night and why I feel I was blocked at Golden Time. My girls owed him a not inconsiderable amount which was why they did not want him to know when they were seeing me on the nights they did not report in but for which I paid the multa; they paid later.

I am familiar with Habanos, Veneto and Boca Torena. They don't appeal to me the way the other places I may frequent do.
You are not correct to assume that walking to LePalace means no cabbie fine however the fine is not paid by you its paid by the girl, if you leave with a girl then you will have to walk to where you are going or else the girl will not take a cab that is not from Le Palace, try it and see. Not to confuse anyone, the cabbie fine, as it were, may not always be passed to the punter some girls if they have a large turnover can afford it and others who do not may decide to pass it on or ask for a propina towards it the prices at Le Palace however are standard for Long Time and short Time they do not fluctuate at all. The fine is just part of the culture of working there. The point was the real value of the punt is less than it appears to be for the chica and this may have an impact on service. Cabbies and chicas have business relationships why do you think there is a taxi stand in front of both Habanos and Veneto.
It is good for there to be varied experiences posted on the forum and for those reading the Panama forum for some time it would seem to be that the only worthwhile experiences are to be had at Habanos, Veneto ect. This is untrue and for those who can there is better and different to be had at Elite, Le Palace and Golden Time. There is the added benefit of the girls there having a schedule of health checks which is good for all parties involved.

Also agencies advertise in the paper and the girls either come to you or you go to there apartment. Panama is getting more developed like here and many girls have gone online to earn more, avoid family / friend seeing them in street or casinos, and avoid the police. The police have rounded up girls in the streets recently outside the casinos in the Cangrejo, reason police round them up is because massage and strip bars pay taxes and payoffs to government officials and these people want you to patronize the girls working in massage and strip bars etc.

I would further add, I also find it good policy to negotiate for a rate of $100. If they huff, puff or haggle, I drop down the time, I'll say "$100 for 40 minutes", this they almost always agree to. Once we are alone I do my best to charm them (if I like them and want them to stay longer) , not once has one ever kept track of time and sought to leave after 40 minutes. Most wind up staying 1. 5 hours or even longer depending on various factors.
I think it's important to do the best we can to keep the $100 benchmark. This was the price-point for years and only recently has it started creeping up to $150. Most of the girls don't understand long-term sustainability and will charge whatever they think they can get. If a majority of them start receiving $150 without too much resistance, the new price will soon be $200.

Others of us with the same ability believe it is better to search for the diamonds in the rough. Different? Yes. Better? Purely in the eyes of the man with the money.

Anyone been to Bocatorena recently?
I was in Panama City for an extended 4th of July weekend, and I visited Gold Fingers once, and Golden Times once. In both occasions, I took the advice from this forum, I hailed a running cab, asked cabbie for Fantastic Casino in El Dorado. Once I get there, I walked into the casino, after a couple minutes, I walked out and head to the massage. At Gold Fingers, I had a great 1-hour long session with #5, she was tentative, and was passionate. It cost me $95. At Golden Times I chose #2, Sara, another Colombiana. She was cold, she was rushing me the whole time. She spent two minutes on my back, and was done with the massage part. Another two minutes CBJ, then she climbed on me for doggy. I tried to kiss her breasts, she moved away from me. After a minute or two, she told me to do her doggy, so I did. And only a minute into the rhyme, she asked if I'm done already. At this point I was just frustrated with her, and just turned her around and pounded her till I was done. Worst 30-minute experience ever! And it cost more, $115. since there are some questions on what is going on currently, i will try to give my input. i have been to veneto probably about 8 times the last 4 years. my trips are extended 5 day to 1 month trips. my observations for the past one week at the veneto has been not that good. i arrived saturday and i believe any weekend is solid enough to pick up what you want. all shapes and sizes, with a few 9's rep001tered. business definitely a notch slower in the weekends compared to other trips. monday was the slowest i have ever seen the veneto. yesterday picked up and there was plenty to go around, albeit much slower than in the years past. i believe there is still enough to choose from though. i have been to habano's once this past week and definitely feel the quality is one step higher than veneto. i still like the easiness though of the veneto and the sushi. it is true that the new girls norm seems to be $150 as the price they go upstairs without negotiating too much. it used to be they accepted $100 without a fight. now they are refusing or putting a hard stance when you say $100. why is the veneto slower? the change of attitude of the security i believe. i talked to several women i know for years and i personally observed security giving the girls a hard time. an example of this was i was standing next to 2 women at the bar. security came over to them and told them this is a casino, you need to drink or play. i also saw them blocking women from entering the bar area and basically telling them you have to buy something. therefore action around the bar was slower. i came late though, past 12:30-1am. as a side note, i saw one guy that got beat really bad by the security. the guy was drunk and was being dragged out by another security, he then swung and connected. the security guy just pummeled him. hit him in the face, couple upper cuts, kicked him on the floor. in fact, another security had to come in and pull the security guy away! i heard it continued down the escalator and into the street. not my cup of tea, ruined everyone's mood, and the place cleared out pretty much after that. i don't know why it seems security is toughening up, but it is certainly leading to less girls at veneto. i also heard habanos has more and more girls lately. thanks hope this helped.

The real reason I am going to Panama rather than my normal stomping grounds in another Central American Country is because variety is the spice of life. Every now and then its nice to have something different.OK. I still don't understand, because if you have been there enough times you have had multiple problems, what's different about it? Out of 20 times in CR, how many times have you had problems that "ruined" your vacation? Just curious. I like both countries about equally overall but if you fine tune it by cities, I like SJ much better than PC, mostly because PC is so hot all the time. I'm going back to Boquete for several months and if I want to go to a bigger city, it will be SJ and not PC. But I don't like Colombianas so maybe that is where our difference of opinion emerges.

Following the advice on the brothers of the board, I went on Wednesday night to learn the layout and get a feeling for the talent.

In the spirit of Yum Kippur (sic) , last night many restaurants were dark. I therefore decided to have dinner at the Veneto 'New York' restaurant, (ok food, good service). Upstairs around 20:00 all was very quiet.
After dinner around 21:30 the upstairs in the casino had filled up some but still with plenty of bare spots. Around 10:00 the regulars started disappearing slowly but very surely. As I am not a gambler, I decided to go and check the Habanos to see what gives.
When I put my nose out of the Veneto's door, I was faced with a rather large police operation. Cops everywhere, interviewing in spot checks. There was not a girl hanging around the entrance as you can imagine. Got in my car and notice also there was no SW hanging anywhere close to Ca. Morales why Av. Espana near the teatro la Quadra.
Aiming for Habanos, as soon as you make the right turn at the Marriott. Police everywhere again. The famous Habanos was EMPTY. Sure there were a few local girls there but the ratio was probably 8 english teacher to one student.
Well let us call it what it was. A screwed up night.
Remember most shops are closed again today. Multiplaza will feel awfully quiet.

There was definitely a big sting yesterday. None of the girls showed up to Club Miami even though on Thursday the talent was pretty good.

I just got back from a trip to Panama. Didn't have much time for activities but made most of limited time in city. Had a room at Marriott right across street from habanos. It was not chica friendly. I also rented a room at veneto to play because it was close by and cheap ($92). It was night of soccer game Jamaica vs Panama. Went to habanos and it was loaded with some gorgeous girls. Can't say that it's like that every night but there had to be 30 plus in a small area. Also was some talent upstairs striping. It is a low key place with one small stage. Girls are take out and was $100 with some negotiation. I actually have $20 propina because she was so smoking hot. Also went to eliteII. By the way, the Mariott does NOT seem to be anti-companion. They seem to insist on regular conservative (ahum) dress code which makes entrance acceptable. Otherwise they will pound on your party.

I just returned from Panama city. Was there Sat to Thur last week. Veneto had a poker tournament on Tue and wed and jacked up their prices. They had A / C breakdown in the hotel on Tue night (sucked big time) , that was the night I was trying to catch up on some sleep. Agreed Veneto was the slowest I have seen in last 3 yrs, still there a few girls to be had. I did not see many girls outside the hotel either. Also they removed the hand shuffled blackjack games and put in high limit Roulette tables (25$ and 50$ min) which I never saw anyone play, What a dumbass idea by mgmt. Luckily the Crown casinos nearby still had those games.
Habanos was hopping every night I was there. Except the night it rained (I think Sun night) every other night it was packed. A whole lot of Colombina's (from Cali, Medellin, Manizales etc). A lot of them start at 200 and come down to 150, I did not partake with those. Some agreed to 120 but one of them I took was a runner, other 2 nights I had a good time with a Panamanian and Cali chica.
La Mayor is open and looked good the night I was there. Much cleaner and nicer than Boca Torena, though not as many girls.

Is the veneto still got girls?Veneto still have plenty of staff. Doorman balances buyers and sellers so when the casino is full all the sellers will be allowed in, otherwise they have to wait by the side entrance. There is negociation that can be done there.
The police has taken position that NO girls can wait outside the main doors of the casino. I guess it create a bad first glance of the area, in the old days (last year) you could have up to 20 girls waiting and smoking their cigarettes out there. It gave the place a very cheapo look.
Since the raids of mid September, the staff has changed. Lots and Lots the then new comers and semi-regular have disappeared. To my chagrin I must add. Today old time regulars are still there, IMHO the quality has been down drastically. Hoping when the high season starts again end of next month things will back to normal.

On my way to South America, I overnighted in Panama last Saturday night where I had about 20 hours to spend. I had mongered a little there in the past but had never stayed at the Veneto, which was a short, unusually traffic-free trip from the airport and had good service and nice rooms. When I made it to the casino at 9 PM, there was a fine selection of attractive women, mostly Colombianas, which was just what I was looking for. There were about 25 girls, and I spent about 40 minutes browsing and chatting with the 4-5 that, by my standards, were the hottest in the room. It's all good when you're having a tough time choosing because of high quality. I've seen recent posts about the declining quality at the Vento and hassles with police, but on this night, all was mellow, and, having mongered in Rio, Medellin, Mexico, and Ecuador, I was more than pleased with the quality. I was expecting mostly hardened pros, but found all of the chicas I talked with to be friendly, sweet, and easy going. Of course, speaking decent Spanish makes a big difference. I just came from Panama City, where I have to travel every 3 months or so because of work. But this time I stayed at the Veneto. I spended three nights there and I was able to see that the real action starts arround 8:30 p. M when all the girls stand or seat by de casino bar. There were all kinds of girls (mostly Colombians, but in all shapes, sizes and colors), in my opininon most of them were from 7 to 10 in general beauty. There are some of the 7s that are brave enough to come to you to talk, but most of the girls are standing and waiting for you to approach them. Spent last weekend in Panama City. Stayed at Torres De Alba-rented the penthouse on the 24th floor in the new tower. Highly recommended. And chica friendly and the girls loved it. First, a little intro. I've been playing the game for some years in the US, Latin America and Europe. New name here as I haven't posted for a long time and the old one disappeared. I prefer the regular and steady to the thrill of the chase. I'm also unencumbered of relationships at home and self-employed so my options are wider than many. I have a working girl in Panama City who I see every 5-6 weeks for a long weekend. A mutually beneficial relationship, if you will. I am lucky enough to have a (bilingual Gringo) friend who lets us stay at his large apartment near the Calle Uruguay area. I've been to most of the Panama City hunting grounds but I'm not Dudley searching for my Bo so I can't tell you the hot spots for chicas this week. Where I may be able to help others is with what to do with a girl when you're spending more than just a quality hour in your hotel room.
El Rinconcito Colombiano on Calle 50 is a large bar / club / restaurant that's the hangout of many Colombianas, working or not. It is the place to be when Colombia is playing. I was there for the Chile game last week and raucous doesn't begin to describe the atmosphere. Fridays are usually a DJ with Colombian bands often on Saturdays. Weeknights are pretty quiet when there isn't a game. Many regular and working girls. But the working girls hang out with friends or are here on dates, not looking for them. You can meet regular girls here if you're fluent, my friend met one and went out with her later last week. Buy a yellow team shirt beforehand if you go to a game.
The strip center just toward the downtown area from Rinconcito has a dance club that's also supposed to be Colombian. Haven't been but it's supposed to be good and will report if I go.
Onza Steakhouse is at Calle 53 why Ricardo Arango (Antiguo Snob Shop) in Obarrio. It's a few blocks from Habanos but easy walking. Good food, very good service and there's an equally good French restaurant upstairs. Lots of business people spending company money and affluent Panamanians. Dinner for four with a few drinks has run a hair under $150.
Across the street from Onza is a brand new Holiday Inn Express that is just opening now. I know nothing about it except that it's brand new and a couple blocks from Habanos.
In the Calle Uruguay area, we ate at Market, on Calle 48 Este (of Calle Uruguay) last weekend. Hilarious Spanglish menu with salads to burgers to steaks. American baseball on TV. This is somewhere to go for a decent dinner before hitting the nightclubs in the area. Significantly cheaper than Onza.
I've been to Rosa Mexicano on Calle 47 Este a number of times. Upscale and not cheap but a nice place with very good food and widely spaced tables for private conversations. Same cost as Onza.
Next door to Rosa is Starlight Karaoke. DJ and dance music between karaoke sessions and then dancing after midnight or so. None of the girls we've been with will get up to sing alone but they love to sing along with others.
My friend and I have been the only noticeable Gringos in all of these places so don't expect the staffs to speak much English.
When your chica wants you to take her to Multi Plaza / Center for a little shopping, make her take you to the closed-to-vehicles part of Avenue Central. MultiPlaza and MultiCenter (and Albrook) are where people with money shop. Avenue Central is where those without it go. Let her drag you down the street bargain hunting while you look at all the other women. Near some unsavory areas but completely safe during the day.
If you need something to do on a Sunday afternoon during an extended refractory period, check out the old town area. Touristy, but still cool with the oldest buildings and views over the water. Lots of places to eat and drink.
To avoid AT&T's outrageous rates I bought an $80 no-name Android on the Digicel system. All of the little cell phone shops will have them or something similar. A $10 card takes care of voice and data for the weekend and I was ahead of AT&T on cost after the first trip. Note that data service must be arranged separately after you enter the card. Connect to wifi and download the offline Spanish file for Google Translate. Girls seen to prefer Blackberrys because they all text like demons and they like the physical keys. But they're all also on WhatsApp and that's what I use to communicate with my girl in Panama and at home. Note that when a girl wants to talk, she'll text you and ask you to call her. This is normal as the caller pays and the receiver talks for free.
Finally, never get into a taxi without first negotiating the fare through the window. 100% guarantee of a metaphorical ride if you don't, especially late at night. Your girl will probably do this for you as a matter of habit and she'll know the proper fares.
I thoroughly enjoy Panama City. I call it 'Latin America Lite. ' Almost all the flavor of 'real' Latin America but with a lot fewer quirks and annoyances. Will report more as I learn it.

VENETO. Stayed at the Veneto and the bar was full of chicas. A big assortment of sizes, shapes (ass & boobs) , ages, personalities, hair color and nationalities. Starts early but fills up more and more the later it gets. Pulled 3 different girls. One each from Panama, Columbia, and Peru. All were fabulous, although BBBJ is a bit difficult to arrange. Had to venture over to La Mayor to get the "real experience" of a local. Out of town fisherman, etc. All I can say is that this place makes Tijuana look like a 3 Star Resort. It's in a dangerous area on the border of the "secure area" so be EXTRA careful, and DON'T get in a taxi with tinted windows. You'll get robbed or worse. Walked in to a very full bar, with locals buying $2 beers and girls with bikini tops walking around. $25 will get you about 15 minutes in the dingy back rooms, where you can hear many others right outside your door. Columbian girl, about a 7. 5, with a decent body, but with only 15 mins to spare and no "warm up" time, you need to be really horny, hard, and ready to plow her. We go into the room, she immediately gets naked, and expects you to perform. I don't know about most of you, but Junior doesn't get hard just by telling him to. Also, Veneto has a decent sports book with a ton of monitors-so we were able to watch College Football games on Saturday afternoon and early evening. I wish I could head back to Panama tomorrow-but alas-must wait till next year. Bocas del Toro makes for a nice side trip for those interested in something different-45 minute flight-beautiful beaches-very inexpensive and decent bars and restaurants.

Add to the bad information the idea that La Mayor and it's neighbor, Boca, are in a "dangerous area." The block where La Mayor and Boca are located is as safe as Las Vegas Boulevard. Traffic, taxis, people, vendors, all the time. Frequent cops. Venturing up the side streets in the area is, however, a completely separate proposition.

YGMy two cents is that if you're already in Colombia, you're pretty much wasting your time coming to Panama. Panama City is a nice modern city but has fewer mongering options and is more expensive. Gambling, I don't know, but I know it's all over in MDE as well and cheap. You'd do better, in my opinion, visiting some other Colombian cities. Many good options, Cali, Armenia, Manizales, Peirera, Santa Marta, etc.
There is action in Colon as well but it's kind of dumpy. Cheaper though.

You may have to negotiate to get that price as many of them will start by asking for $150 or even $200. If anyone pays $300 for a Habano girl for 1 hour, they should call the police because they have just been robbed.
Of course a lot of people don't want to negotiate, especially when on vacation for a short time, but just a little resistance and minor haggling will likely get you to $120 and will also keep them from raising prices even further.
As far as Habanos drink prices, they have gone absolutely insane with their pricing. Charging $5 or $6 for a beer that costs them 20 or so cents is obscene in my mind. In the past I would by 5 or 6 beers at $3.50 or so a piece, now that they charge $5 or $6 a beer, I will buy just one and milk it out. I'm not cheap, just can't stand rewarding unmitigated greed.

You obviously understand the attraction of the place. I'm not a butt guy myself, but for $15 there is something to be said about doggy-style with a perfect heart shaped ass. To clarify a couple of things, it doesn't hurt to be young and speak Spanish. Veneto has a casino where you will find lots of action. El Congrejo is heavily patrolled so it is safe. You will find lots of restaurants closeby and directly across the street from Veneto is Manolos a sidewalk style restaurant, great for people watching and plenty of colombianas sit there waiting for clients to come over and talk. Another hotel very closeby, brand new is Victoria Suites. Less than a block from Veneto and very upscale.

Come out of the casino 5 minutes later and your cabbie would have found a new fare. This will avoid the $10 upcharge. Then, walk up the hill past a block and a half passing the KFC and the McDonalds, and walk towards the main 6 lane road. Cross the street to the Popeye's chicken. Go into the strip mall courtyard. 25 meters down from the Popeye's chicken, you will see the entrance to GT. It will have an ATM and two security guys hanging out by the door, maybe a cabbie or two.

it's hidden. i had found some confusing directions on another site. easiest way to find it: looking from the main road, (tumba muerta,) it's located behind the fantastic casino and to the right of the rey super mercado. next door to gold fingers, is caribbean center, also a massage parlor. caribbean center has less than positive reviews, so i took a pass this time. the parking spaces in front of golden fingers were empty, so i was given the full lineup. about 8 colombianas and 1 domincana, dressed in very sexy school girl costumes, with their asses peaking from under the skirts. chose a curvy colombiana with a slight asian feature. was charged $100. upon payment was asked if i wanted to buy the lady a drink, for $10. from her speech pattern, she sounded like a country girl. showered together, followed by a decent massage. cbj, cowgirl, missionary finish.
i thought golden times lineup was better. i want to return and meet the big tit colombiana i saw there. maybe tonight, after i hit a couple of other spots.
Plan last night was to hit La Bodeguita VIP first. It's vacant, premises are available for rent, if anyone is interested. Hit Habanos at 1230a, not as packed, same chicas from my previous visit. I walked up to Cafe Foto, a strip club above Habanos. Saw 3 decent dancers. 1 Table dance is $20, 2 for $30 and 3 for $50. Atlas beer is $5.
Next stop was strip club Le Palace. It's located down the street from Habanos, going with the flow of traffic, on the other side of the hill in the road. No cover charge. Smaller than Elite 2, with lots of Colombianas and 1 Cubana. All the dancers wear the same white bustier outfit with white stockings. Black light makes the dancers out fit glow. Atlas beer was $10. Ladies drink is $15. Was quoted $250 plus $155 bar fine. At $405, it's cheaper than Elite 2. And unlike Elite 2, there are no private table dances. Girl will take you to a corner and do a topless dance only. I was waiting to see a strip show, but after nursing 1 beer, and nothing happening I left. I maybe mistaken, but Elite 2 has more dancers and setup more as an American style Strip club. Of the 2, I liked Elite 2 better.
Got to Caribbean Center around 2:30a. It has a bar. $5 Atlas beer. Only 2 girls present at that time. Closed on Sunday. Opens 11:30a Monday, day shift has 10 chicas evening shift has only 6. Chica I spoke to was dressed in t shirt and jeans. It's also $80 there.

Finally made it to the Puteros in the bad part of Panama City, in Casco Viejo, a few blocks from the Fish Market, sort of. Monday, I went on a tour of the City and Canal by Bus. Imagine my surprise when it stopped right in front of La Bocatorena, Interiorana and La Mayor. All three are next door to each other. I was tempted to walk in, LOL. Of the three, La Bocatorena, was the most active, with loud music playing and people going in and out. La Mayor looked closed. Average looking older woman came out of La Bocatorena to smoke. A bit later, three younger, average looking latinas came out, (end of shift?) Bad part of town, dangerous to foreigners? Maybe, but there is a HEAVY police presence in the area due to A.) the Presidential Palace, (aka the Panamanian White House) is in Casco Viejo, and B.) Casco Viejo is a tourist destination.
After a weeks stay and getting to know the lay of the land, it's time for me to move on. I've been in Latin America for a month and have yet to hit a beach. My next stop is Cartagena, Colombia. After seeing and meeting some Colombianas in Panama City, I'm looking forward to see what Cartagena has to offer.

You would have to know what streets to take. My Hotel was actually closer to it, and only required me to take 2 streets. 38 min per Google map. Only took 5 min via taxi. As GauntMan wrote, have the taxi drop you off at the Popeye's Chicken. There is also a Quizno's sandwich shop and a pricy Mexican restaurant in that mini mall. I went twice and was charged $85 each time. I thought the lineup was good. I know what you mean by not being happy with the girl. I'm a frequent visitor to Rio, Brazil. Babes there have spoiled me to GFE and PSE at much cheaper rates. I knew going in, I was not going to get that at Golden Time. I liked it enough though, I went twice.

Went today to Golden Fingers. Heard good stories so it was Golden Fingers or Golden Times, not far from GF. Stayed in Marbella district, close to Plaza Uruguay so a taxi to the Eldorado plaza took half an hour, traffic is crazy even at 4 pm. Heard that the place is open from 7. 30 pm so went first to the mall for a snack. Three hours wait was to much for me so checked the place and saw the sign-open. What a suprise. 8 girls available all 7 to 9. Picked up a blond girl, Brenda, tits seize 2 but did not trust a girl with seize 5, probably artificial. Paid at the office window. 100 us$ plus 10 for a drink for the girl, for me a free beer. Most of the time I will not hit a full hour but this was different. My first post. I was in Panama a few months back and will share my full 4 day monger experience in PC.
1. Panama is a legit destination despite the reviews and the Colombians available are hot.
Venetto and Habanos are good spots (but more foot traffic and the girls are very mechanical / businessy). $100 to your room is standard fair at these places but that's for a 7-8 easily maybe a 9 (yes the hot ones start prices at $150-$200 and my rating scale is tough).
I spent a couple nights at a bar / club I liked called Ache at the time, I believe it had a different name before. Its a locals place but working girls hang out there, they don't really act like they're working either and won't approach you aggressively. If you come up speaking English as my friend did all they will say is "you want suckie fuckie? $100". The one hour is vague because if you work them down and talk to them right you can easily milk a couple-few hours out of the experience. I was able to get multiple beers ($5 corona ea) with the girls, she tried to teach me how to salsa and danced with her for a couple hours and wasn't very pushy, they're just having fun and happy to make 100 for the night there. The girls in ache were more 6-7 range but at least 2 8s both nights. And those are who I went for. Most every non-massage parlor girl seemed to be age 24-30 with at least one kid.
I didn't go to the GF place but I went to a massage place directly outside of venetto at 11 am one day. Only 3 girls available, a chuncky 6. 5, stunning 9 (who I took) and my friend took another 8. 5-9. Both girls were plastic if you're into that stuff. Girls were hot, service wasn't bad but once again relatively mechanical and not to inspring but she was nice.
Fun can be had in Panama, but you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and go to some of the less frequented and mentioned spots here. Each night I ended up at a nightclub with working girls or girls willing to work lets just say, and they're yours for the night what ever you want to do really.

I have been to Club Ashe about 15 times over the last 6 months. It is basically the Panama version of Key Largo. 99% Colombian in a Disco setting. The volume of girls during the high season now is down from last summer (low season). I suspect because they are busier and supply is balancing with increased demand. It is still a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio on most nights. In the summer it was 5:1 or 6:1. I suspect it will return to that this summer. Every few months or so there seems to be a turnover of many of the girls as they return to Colombia or are deported. There a few that are always there. On the weekend and some week day nights there is a cover of $10 which gets you 1 drink. Beers are $5. All drinks are the same for you or for a girl. The girls make no money unless you take them home.
I like Club Ashe. It is a fun and natural environment where you can go and have a lot of admirers all night and drink and make a selection or not. The guys from outside Panama are generally 30s. 50s. There are some locals too that are younger. It is a very safe place on a very safe street (Calle Uruguay). I have not seen 1 fight in 15 visits staying late into the night. Never bothered by anyone and always seem to find a fellow monger to hang with if I am not with friends. Girls range from 6. 9 with most around 7-8. I would say anyone could find something they like here.
The place does not start going until 12. It really gets going around 2am. It closes at 3am on the weekdays and 4am on Thur. Sat. It is the last resort for girls that were at Habanos or Wyndham or elsewhere. Before 2am they will all ask for $100 to $150 and will generally accept $100. At close everyone goes outside and immediately pair off. At close $100 is easy and I am sure negotiable lower. I have never bothered to try and always just offer $100 with a tip later of $20.
About 1/2 the time I take someone out of there. Always $100 with tip $20. I get what I consider 8+s. They stay for an hour or two. They all tend to provide friendly service. Many will ask for money upfront and I just laugh and ignore it. I usually err on the side of younger girls (usually 20-21) in that they tend to be more innocent so that may be a driver of service friendliness. Most of the girls speak no or little english. I speak very little spanish. I still have a great time and can communicate. Sometimes use google translate.
The girls tend to be more on the semi pro side earlier in the night. I have noticed that some of either the hottest girls or the youngest are picky about who they choose. They won't just accept anyone.
I was there 3 nights in the past week. On the third night I stayed until close, and was deciding between to 20 year olds. A bit of a competition. One wrote on a piece of paper BB $150. I am totally against this so chose the other.

Busy last night with variety of different shapes and sizes. Quoted between 100$ and 150$.
Good starting point earlier on with Veneto as the default pickup location.
My pick at Veneto last night was mechanical and demanding. Will choose more carefully next time!
Veneto seems to be the most straight forward place to stay. No access problems or charges!
This is all with my limited knowledge here though by the way!

New to the forum but want to thank everyone for the fantastic information everyone has shared. Headed to PC for the first time in a month or so and would like confirmation that the Clarion Victoria Hotel & Suites is chica friendly. I have read the forum and saw the Clarion Victoria mentioned in passing. But it wasn't clear to me that every place mentioned is truly monger friendly (I saw the Hard Rock mentioned as well but no confirmation it is actually chica friendly). Anyway, coming in with a group and we will be frequenting Habanos, Veneto and Club Ashe and would love to stay close to the action without any issues. (Note the only reason we would prefer not to stay at the Veneto is that a quick google / trip advisor search of the hotel may raise issues with significant others and the preference is to be forthcoming about where we're staying). I have seen no such information about the Clarion Victoria.

Plenty of girls in the casino ranging from 5-9's asking around $150 but will all go for $100. I thought the selection was much better at Habano's and we grabbed more girls from there than Veneto. Both places are like shooting fish in a barrel but Habano's was great to sit outside with a drink and a cigar and check out the scene. If you do see a hottie that you like do not hesitate too long or she will be gone. Most girls are Columbian but we also met, Dominicans, Peruvians, Panamanians and an Eastern Euro.

A couple of thoughts on the Hotel Manrey. I think it is a great choice for Panama City.
-Balconies.
Hotel Manrey does not really have balconies. Some rooms have a sliding door that accesses an entirely glass enclosed area. The glass is frosted with a pattern. The sun heats up the enclosed area and you can't really see out of the glass. There is basically no point to in the enclosed area. It does provide sunshine and light. A number of the room in the Manrey don't have any windows so these pseudo balcony rooms are a good choice relatively speaking.
-Location.
Amazing. Across from Club Ashe on Uruguay. Across the street from my favorite restaurant El Gaucho. Amazing steaks at a price that is relatively low for us. Tons of regular clubs and restaurants.
-Rate.
Around $110 a night.

Very contemporary and chic. Showing some wear but still very nice and unique in Panama City.

By the recommendation of numerous posters, I booked a room at the Veneto casino. To the contrary of many travel site reports, I found the staff very responsive, attentive, and accommodating. In fact, I had decided to change rooms in the middle of my stay to go from one king bed to two doubles and they did the change without question, no extra charge, and with bellboy help to move my stuff. I booked the room for six nights through Kayak for $57 per night including tax. I paid through Kayak two weeks prior and the hotel didn't ask for more money, other than a $100 refundable deposit. My stay was over the Thanksgiving holiday.
The girls start showing up in the casino at about 6 pm and things really get hopping around 8-10 until 3 am or so. Walking through the casino is a bit like high school dating. My guess is that if a girl does not feel that instant attraction, they avoid eye contact, kind of like that stuck up cheerleader we all experienced at one point in our lives. Or maybe it is because they don't want to risk rejection and prefer for the monger to make first contact. I never could make up mind but there is certainly more eye contact and approaches by the girls as the night wears on. I didn't put it to the test, but I am certain that negotiations would be easier later in the night.
There are girls who rent rooms at the Veneto and hang around the pool during the day. I found the pool girls friendly, tired (they mostly sleep on deck) , and not willing to negotiate. I never did try one. All I was interested in was swimming laps and not socializing. There is a hot tub but it wasn't heated.
The number of girls and variety at the Veneto was staggering, but they are nearly all.
From Colombia. There were a few from DR and one skinny girl from Russia. I quickly made a list of the types and went to work prioritizing my list with a goal of banging 10 different girls over a six night period. Because of the quantity and variety I never felt it necessary to leave the casino in search of game. I tried counting one night but stopped at 40. Prices seem to start at $150 for an hour and negotiate downward. Being a savvy monger, I would go so far as compromising by leaving the money in plain site on the far side of the room opposite the door to avoid cash and dash in plain site. One refused even that but I ended up letting her put the money in her purse and leaving that on the far side of the room.
There is a pharmacy across the street that sells Viagra, Cialis, etc in both generic and name brands. The generic runs about 1/4 the cost of the name brand, but I never tried it. They did, however, give me a free sample to try later. One name brand pill costs about $20.
I found the white hotel taxis to be expensive for normal jaunts around town, but competitive for longer distances, such as the airport or nearby beach access.
Overall, it was a great time but not the best mongering destination on the planet. I was actually in Panama on other business so mongering was a secondary activity. The same rules apply as elsewhere. Be safe. Always shower the girls before sucking on them for fear of drugs / body poisoning and good hygiene should be standard practice anyway. Practice safe sex. Also, if you find someone you click with don't be afraid to make an initial investment to achieve a higher level of GFE if you are into that sort of thing. In fact, I would argue that since the Colombian girls are in Panama away from home working and don't have the day to day grind to contend with, such as kids, boyfriends, or family, the girls are more likely to engage in being a companion, leading to a richer GFE.

i quickly grew a little tired of her and wanted to try to new ladies. on saturday she went home for awhile and i didn't respond to her some much on the phone on saturday and she said she is going to go to work. i said i understand, and i was actually happy. hmmm. i can't remember what i did on saturday night. haha i know i spent some time in veneto. oh yeah. i went to habanas on saturday, but almost 130am i think. there were as many ladies there, probably because it was a little late, but it wasn't exactly very late. i only seen some flakas, i think that's how you spell it. i didn't know there was a strip club upstairs, i asked the bar tender where the people are going (when they go up stairs) , i went up there and there was a strip club. it was kind of late, and i didn't see any special women working, some were ok looking. one of them asked me to fucky fucky. she made it seem like we could fucky fucky there. well she fucky fuckied me because she was on my for about 10-15 minutes and i had to pay $20 a a dance. i should have been more careful, but i told her to get the fuck off of me, vamos. the security guy wasn't mad or anything and showed me the menu thing about the $20. i'm not so worried about the money as i am about surprise charges. i paid it no problems. i hung out a little more and the puta looked to be calmed down and was trying to get other guys. i went downstairs and finally! one woman caught my attention. a 21 year old from peru. she had that nice shiny black straight hair that i am used to seeing in asia, she was kind of medium colored, and spoke a little more english that most of the women around there. a little later she goes walking upstairs and i wait a while and think, fuck, she was the only girl i like. i went up stairs again and looked for her, she was sitting at a table with a gringo of some sort. it looked like three guys maybe from australia or the uk. i guess he had a little extra money to spend. he besides buy a bottle, so what really, he kept throwing a lot of one dollar bills on the dance floor quite often, and went on stage a couple times so the women could dry hump him, and. other things. anyways girl new where the money was and was getting some free drinks. i thought she was going to be with him, but the guys left and i waved her over to me. i tried to talk awhile but she didn't seem to me interested in hanging out, that is one thing i don't like. so we talk about money, and she says $400 overnight, $150 for an hour. so i asked her how much for 5 minutes. she laughed and i got her to $120 for a so called "hour". once in my room she asks me to pay first. well after all my times and travels i learned to don't pay first, or you are screwed. now a few times in the past i have paid first and things were just fine. but many times the women doesn't care if you bust your nut or not if she has your money. i really don't like it when women, or people in general don't trust me. i showed her i had some money. she still wanted me to pay. i happened to be on my computer and showed her how much i had in my bank accounts. she still said she wanted me to pay first. i said i'll give you half first and she agreed, but i had to go [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), so i said ok, i will to go the bathroom and come back and give you the half, she said no, pay now. well, i already new i was going to kick her ass out of my room. then she asked for money for a taxi. i opened my safe and showed her over $4k in cash, and said look, i have money, and i don't like people that don't trust me. i started counting the money right in her face and said how much you want for a taxi? i waved a few hundreds, then i took a $5 and gave it to her and said "adios, you picked the wrong guy to not trust" i guess i was satisfied with any revenge and i actually didn't tell her to get the fuck out. i actually told her good night in spanish. and she said thanks. i think, and hope she felt dumb for losing a valued "customer". the problem now is if she sees me in habanas, who knows what will happen. i know i won't be bringing her back here with other people, and if i do bring her to my room everything will be very well locked up.
so. it's monday, about 1030pm. time to have a walk around veneto, and habanas and maybe asche. i actually hate going only downstairs to get a girl from veneto and back to the room, it feels like preparing for deep sea fishing, but only fishing in a aquarium.
i'll be here in panama until next monday morning.
oh, vento has been changing the way you connect to their internet and it sucks. basically the front desk needs to set you up, and you log in to a page with a #5 for some reason, then they told me to use my last name, but it didn't work, it is use my first name, and the room number. you can have a max of 3 devices hooked up. but it is a pain in the ass sometimes, and it seems like the dns is crappy. maybe times is says page not found unless you reload it a few times or disconnect and reconnect to their wifi. at least it seems to remember your device after logging in once.
the connection should be faster if it has less people leeching off free internet, but it seems slower to me. and. yes i had to disconnect and reconnect just to post this after typing it all up.

I used to post here back in 2009 or so. Anyway, I am back in Panama. Anyway, I have a new favorite hangout. I was staying at the Novotel which is near Via Argentina. I asked the guy at the desk for a good restaurant for someone who doesn't speak good Spanish. He pointed me to Mendozas on Via Argentina. It's owned by two American guys. Anyway, I went over there (FWIW, food is standard tex-mex, but the drinks are great and not that expensive) and there were quite a few Americans and Canadians hanging out there besides the owners. One of them told me there was a great little house in the parking lot right behind there. I know that River Club is back there and I had not so good experiences there a few years ago. Turn out there is another place called relax massage. One of the owners walked me back there and introduced me to the owner of Relax. There were three girls there. One was a 5, but the two others were solid 8's. Price was 80 bucks.
Anyway, it turns out the owner of Relax hangs out a Mendoza's also, and I have been hanging out with the crowd their quite a bit. It's a lot of fun. Often a group of guys will start out at Mendoza's and then head over to Veneto or Habanos.
Friday night we took a cab to a place called Club Peru 37. It was a regular bar but really kicking. The catch was that the waitresses were all working girls, and they were quite good looking too. One of the guys got her number and they met up later. I think he paid like 80.
I am on a limited budget so the drinking on Via Argentina and then going to Relax works perfectly for me, and I have made quite a few friends as well.
I hope to post some more later this week. A bunch of guys were talking about going to some place that's just like 25 bucks later this week, but I don't quite understand where exactly it was.

I've been here in Venetos about 5 nights now. On the first couple days it seems like there were a lot more women here than when I was here last year in May and September.

ThanksTurns out I was wrong and it was Bar Peru 37, Not Club Peru.
At Mendozas, what you want to do is take a right when you walk out, then take a right into the parking lot behind it, then it will be sort of hidden in the back of the parking lot on the right. (in my first post I mistakenly said "house". No idea why. I meant "place" I guess. It's actually the same building as Mendozas, just way behind in back in that parking lot, if that helps.
The other thing you can do is ask one of the american owners at Mendozas. There are two guys, one speaks great spanish, the other one is a beginning spanish teacher. Both guys are usually there from 4pm until close.

Some friends and I are headed to Panama City the weekend of May 2nd (we booked a couple of months ago) and I just learned that there will be a ban on alcohol next Saturday, May 3rd because of the election on May 4th (perfect timing on our part). My understanding is that most, if not all, bars, nightclubs etc will be closed because of the alcohol ban. Does anyone know whether casinos like Veneto will also be closed? I'm not sure if anyone was around 5 years ago for the last election but are there monger friendly options available during the prohibition day (s)? We plan to use Friday to try and set up plans for Saturday night but would love to know what our options are in case that doesn't work out as planned.

I second ThomKat's reports. My only free night out led me to dependable Veneto and I brought a friend from work. I had gotten a room, because of my bad experiences at the Sheraton and we put it to use right away. I met the lovely Angela from Ukraine and she was expensive. But I didn't want to waste too much time and as I expected, she was good, but not great. However, she was the classic pouty East European with really perfect pert breasts and model skinny, so I was satisfied. I then went to play poker while my friend made use of the room. And I made more than enough money for the night, so after my friend saw a couple girls, it was my turn again. Though I hated leaving the poker room, because I was making good money, I decided to see the action and quickly settled on Mariana. This was also a good time with a lovely woman and I was done for the night.
Overall, a good time. Though I must say it was a little less crowded than I remember, but could have been an off night.

Just as a reminder. Panama is having presidentila elections this coming Sunday. There is an alcohol sale / consumption ban in effect from Saturday at 12pm till Monday 12pm. Non panamenians are exempt from this and you can drink alcohol at your hotel.
If you arrive Friday or Saturday before 12pm, run to the supermarket and stock on booze. No bars, nightclubs and the like will be open, only restaurants will open but no alcohol will be sold

Does anyone know if this hotel is girlfriendly? If not, what is the fee to be payed for a guest from the Veneto casino? . I guess she has to register her I'd in the reception at least. This hotel should not be located that far from the Veneto casino. My last question was: is it common that the girls in the casino have booked a room at the Veneto hotel so they can attend their clients? I thinks its easier for me to find a girl with room reservation at the Veneto hotel.
Norwegian90Sorry for the mistake! Don't know anything about TRYP hotel, but have been to Panama 3 times in the last 4 years and always went to Veneto at least once each time. Never have I met a girl who had her own room there (or any of the other girls I met elsewhere). It probably diminishes their profit margin. Also, the girls usually know which hotels are girl friendly and which are not.

I was referring to another hotel doc. The Tryp by Wyndham, like 200 meters from the Veneto hotel and casino. Is the TRYP BY WYNDHAM hotel girl friendly, anyone with experience from this hotel? Norwegian90I'm not 100% sure, but as a rule of thumb, any 4stars and up besides the venetto arent girl friendly and will charge you for getting girls into your room.
For girls getting a room at the venetto, it is becoming common, I know that 2 or 3 girls might make a pool and get a room for the night and they take turns fishing johns and taking them upstairs to their rooms.
In the long run, its a good investment, as with 2 or 3 pickups they recover and earn their money back

Will be in Panama City for one day layover. Booked at the Veneto. Besides there and Habana, can someone recommend a nightclub? I would like to go out drinking and dancing without it being a strictly puta scene. Well, after I get the edge off! LOL.

Thanks!Ashe on Calle Uruguay is a popular late night spot with the Colombianas. You can dance, drink, and if you like, you will be able to pull a chica from there as well.
