Just providing an overview from my Panama City trip Dec 13 (Tue) Dec 18th (Sun). I plan to post this in a few different forums I frequent so some of you may have already seen. Also, much of this will not be new, but I think it's good to confirm the going rate for old timers and provide the lay of the land for newbies. My overall take is that without multiple nonstop connections to USA Cities, Habano's caf, and the convenience of quality hotels, Panama City would not be worth a second thought, but it does have those attributes so worth the read. Here goes.

Transportation.

Uber, download it now! I regularly use it in the states and here it is a godsend so you don't need to mess with cabbies. Airport to town is $20-$35 vs $35 for cabs and I didn't have a single ride around town that was more than $5 and some took 20 minutes plus. Tip - Walk to a busy street for quicker pick up. There are many one-ways and it can be a major issue for many of them..Great report, I thought I was the only ones that paid less than 100 haha. Can't wait till I go again.

Ashe: More of a dance club type set up with girls that seemed to be Panamanian and Colombian. Within a few blocks of Hyatt and Habano's Caf. I went on a Friday and there was a $10 cover. I stayed in Hotel Tower House Suite. There is no chica fee. Now one of the girls at reception tried it on me one morning. Doubt it. In all my travels in Latin America I've never seen topless at a pool or beach. Latino countries tend to be more conservative than European ones.

Can you give more details about the bad experiences so those that follow know what to avoid. What went wrong? Were there signs during the pickup that we should out look for? Was it up selling? To all others, are there other ways to find quality chicks than cruising the normal haunts. Hotels.

Hyatt Place was where I stayed and a great deal. Cost was $75/ nt for a larger than average room with 2 Queen's, hot breakfast, and free wi-fi. The place also had a nice gym, laundry, and pool on the roof (saw a few cuties up there when I stayed). Girl friendly, but since it's also a family and business hotel I was generally respectful and didn't come back with a girl until later at night (past 11 pm).

Massage Parlors...Nice report. I head down tomorrow till Monday and I will use your report like a road map. Staying at the Hyatt Place. I plan to mix in some real fishing along with the spear fishing.

Thanks!At the Veneto they still charge an absurd chica fee (like $39.95 last I checked). You're better off at the Hyatt. No fee, and if they do charge you it's a low $15. It is a couple of minutes walk to Habanos, and five minutes to Veneto.

The Hyatt is good, but if you don't trust the Chicas, there is always the option of the San Roque hotel just around the corner from Habanos.

Go out of Habanos, facing the Marriot, go left towards Beriut restaurant, turn the corner and the the hotel is on the left. Here you can buy condoms and get a room for $20.

I would advise nothing more than going to Habanos. Venetos is not as a friendly atmosphere, and of course is in a sterile casino. Taxis get kickbacks at Elite, and other strip joints. You should have no safety issues at Habanos. It's much more expensive at the strip clubs.

I think I know the jazzman he's a good guy but don't believe taxis about safety in Habanos.

I stayed only two nights. I broke no new ground as I stayed at Hyatt Place and went to Habanos.

The best looking chica I talked to wanted $200 and I said no.

I ended up going each night with what I would call mid-level Venezuelans around 28 years of age for $100.

I assume you are talking about the permanent resident visa you can get with a company. I think you will need a lawyer to set up the company, and they will probably also have a bank that they work with. I would try to find a reasonable lawyer and let them do the bank. The bank deposit should be 5000.00 and I believe that money can also be withdrawn to pay off your lawyer etc. But I do believe you will need $5000 in the account at some time.

Just returned from Chica Paradise and the NFL Conference Championship.

Weekend in PTY. While in customs line, I noticed a flight from Medellin had just landed. The normal Colombians ahead of me.

Just providing an overview from my Panama City trip Dec 13 (Tue) Dec 18th (Sun). I plan to post this in a few different forums I frequent so some of you may have already seen. Also, much of this will not be new, but I think it's good to confirm the going rate for old timers and provide the lay of the land for newbies. My overall take is that without multiple nonstop connections to USA Cities, Habano's caf, and the convenience of quality hotels, Panama City would not be worth a second thought, but it does have those attributes so worth the read. Here goes.

Transportation.

Uber, download it now! I regularly use it in the states and here it is a godsend so you don't need to mess with cabbies. Airport to town is $20-$35 vs $35 for cabs and I didn't have a single ride around town that was more than $5 and some took 20 minutes plus. Tip - Walk to a busy street for quicker pick up. There are many one-ways and it can be a major issue for many of them.

Hotels.

Hyatt Place was where I stayed and a great deal. Cost was $75/ nt for a larger than average room with 2 Queen's, hot breakfast, and free wi-fi. The place also had a nice gym, laundry, and pool on the roof (saw a few cuties up there when I stayed). Girl friendly, but since it's also a family and business hotel I was generally respectful and didn't come back with a girl until later at night (past 11 pm).

Massage Parlors.

Golden Times: Went on Wednesday night around 8 pm. 12-15 girls that were 6. 5's to 8's. Open 7 pm to 3 or 4 am. Cost is 120+tip. I took a curvy Colombian spinner who was great. The dynamic was also interesting as the ratio was usually 2:1, but 65% of the guys were local Panamanians who would just string the girls along so they had some cute eye candy sitting with them, but rarely took anyone. Beers and mixed drinks were $5.

This report is a few months old, but figured I would share.

Background-- After three days in Bogota and then three days in Medellin, I made my way to Panama with a good friend of mine. I have taken multiple trips to Panama. Some have been extended trips, others short. I have several good expat friends who live there year around.

Hotel-- We opted to stay in an AirBnb again. We found a nice apartment in Casco that fit two comfortably. There was no doorman or anything at night. I had previously stayed in the Veneto and other AirBnbs in Panama. So far AirBnB is my favorite, but I would be open to staying at the Hyatt Place as well. I will never stay at the Veneto again because of the chica fee and security are the-heads.

Food-- Typically I would eat lunch at the fish market near Casco. Sometimes I would try a random cafe or grab food at La Rana Dorado. Dinner would generally consist of heading over to the area that Veneto and Habanos is at to meet friends. Food in Panama is typically never great, so I don't make a big deal about where we eat.

Chicas-- After lunch every day I would go to Bocatorena. (This is my routine the last several times in Panama) I would get a few beers at lunch, and then walk in the door to the right and get a beer at that bar. For whatever reason, I always find better girls on the right side, even thought its darker. It usually has more girls there anyways. The girls here vary. Thanks for keeping this forum alive and for all the pointers. I spent 2 brief days in Panama City and here is short trip report:

Pre arrival: RTFF and while waiting for my long connection, got online and made two solid arrangements on BP. They have either chicken or sausage stew they swap out and with a little hot sauce it is edible. They can't even make the oatmeal right, was either runny or a bunch of clumps. Pancakes were ok but I highly doubt they are providing fine Vermont Maple Syrup rather some ' syrup product' seemed watered down to me. A bottle of Aunt Jemima's or Mrs. Butterworth's would have been better. Frozen packets of butter make that margarine, at least let them sit to room temperature when you try to spread them on any product all it does is tear the bread or pancakes to shreds and make them cold. The eggs, well they were scrambled and overcooked. Lastly, the fresh fruit was very good. Ate tons of it, good hydration. But breakfast was included in the price of the room and I'm Jewish, so out of principle I ate and stuffed my face with garbage. Waste a buck, save a penny. That's how we roll. I kind of ate it like the Cookie Monster or Homer Simpson would just toss it up in the air and pop it down the hatch, swallowed it whole just to get it down skipped the time it takes to chew. It was good enough to get me going.

I decided to go for a walk so I headed straight to the water for a walk along the Cinta Costera and by the time I got there I was sweating my ass off. The countdown to FKK land was on. ' Grin and bear it Kosher only a few more days of this god awful weather; the greedy and hungry vicious Romanians will be waiting for you with their hands out like beggars at your key box locker soon enough'. That ice cold can of coke was the highlight of the day. That can was almost worth a hundred bucks to me under those conditions and possibly the best can of fucking soda I ever downed in my life. It was so refreshing, ice cold, like an oasis in the desert. I tossed the miracle can and got the fuck out of there as fast as I could. I decided to walk to the old part of town, got there and was so uncomfortable said 'fuck it, just give up' and went looking for a taxi. $5 later I was back at the Hyatt in the shower with the AC on 20 degrees (C) and high power.

Given my upcoming reservation at Panama Marriott, I thought it prudent to call and ask about the guest policy. I had the guy who answered to verify with a supervisor:

If, when you first make your reservation, you confirm for, say, 4 guests. This means that you can bring up to three additional people up to the room. If they do not register with you when you check in, they will need to show ID and be registered (just during their visit).

If, when you make your reservation, you only confirm for 1 guest (yourself), then any additional guests will require a $35 charge.

That seems to be clear to me, assuming they will just look up your reservation to see how many guests were confirmed for the room when you come in late at night, or, if they already know you are good for 2 or more guests (because that person has looked you up before), then it may appear that no one is checking.

It is very safe. There are some bad areas but there is no reason to visit them at all. Stick to Habanos (a bar) and Veneto (Hotel Casino). Going rate is 100 dollars an hour and dollars are used as local currency. It is more of a beginner place in my experience.

Don't spend two cents on 'guides' or backpage escorts and stay the fuck away from strip clubs no matter what the cab drivers tell you. You will get the best mileage for your dollar and the best experience dealing with hookers face to face.

The place is crawling with Colombian plastic dolls and Venezuelans.

Stay at the Hyatt in the banking district.

But it's pretty great with more than 50 nicely dressed and manicured chicas hanging out hoping you'll buy them a drink and make a deal to visit your hotel. The Veneto Casino is a well worn venue that still draws in a few chicas. Usually lower on the one thru ten scale here but sometimes a decent one. I go to PC because it's a nonstop flight so easy in and out and I can find hotter chicas than in Costa Rica. One other downside - PC is boring during the daytime hours. Effort to share the wealth Panama is a jewel!! Easy access from home with non stop service on Copa Airlines. Very safe in the financial / Mongering District. You can actually walk back to your hotel at 2 am without incidence. Try that in NY, Chicago or East LA.

No converting money because US Dollars are the currency. Great shopping, hotels and restaurants for Latin American standards.

During the day you can hop on an AC Cool bus and cruise the country. Literally. From Fallbrook Mall buses go to every city in a Panama. Journey to the mountains in Boquette, David or to the carribean side for $20 bucks. Maybe catch a ferry from Trump casino and do a day trip to one of the outer islands. Tons to do. Just be sure you get back in time to hit Habanos at 9 PM. You'll be a kid in a candy store. The most stunning women from Colombia, Venezuela, DR, Cuba, CR, Panama, etc.

No need to worry about details. Hotel Hyatt Place. Chicas at Habanos, Club Ashe (after hours) Veneto and most recently some action at Trump Casino bar area. I have never entertained anything less than a solid 8 Nor will you. Enjoy.

Cartagena, Medellin, and Bogota are smallest to largest venues respectively. Bogota being a megapolis but with New York weather. Safety wise, Panama City is much much safer. Cartagena in the tourist areas (Bocagrande and the old city) are very safe, but outside of those areas it is not recommended to go alone. Medellin has a tourist / upscale area called El Poblado which is pretty safe, but everywhere else at night can be dicey. Bogota too has some safe areas, and some super dangerous ones.

Plenty of info on Colombia on this forum. If you do your homework you can find pussy as cheap as 10 dollars and as expensive as 100+ dollars. I highly recommend learning Spanish if you are not a fluent speaker before going to Colombia.

If you want a Panama City experience in Colombia I recommend Cartagena. Hit up the clock tower plaza after 10 pm and it will be flooded with chicas. There is more info on the Colombia forums.

Decided to check Pty out (first trip to Latin America) I'm from the UK. Stayed at the Hyatt place, no Chica fee.

Panama continues to be my favorite place to monger. Was there for 4 days last week and pretty much went through the same motions that I went through last few times. Hyatt Palace stay, visiting RedLion, Hardrock and then going to Habanos. A few wrinkles to the routine.

-This time I actually used Tinder and I was having success in matching. I was not necessarily looking for non-pros (I set my profile with a note saying in Panama for 3 days only and that pretty much attracted mostly the pro crowd). Kris.There's Isla San Jose but you need to fly to it from the small airport in the city. It is very private. I think the local tourist company there only has 12 cabins. No tv and bad Internet but dozens of private beaches. You may have trouble taking a non Panamanian there because they do check passports in and out of the island. Still it's pretty awesome if you want a secluded place to visit for a couple of days with a chica.

I got an email back very generic that guests were permitted. So, I called in and they 'accepted' my story of being there on a business trip and that I would have several guests as one of the reasons I booked there was that ' Cozy Corner' so that we could all have good internet and space to sit and relax to review the days conferences and showings. I also noted that since our group was spread out over a few hotels that Cozy Corner allowed for a guest to stay over. He did tell me booking thru the hotel and / or using Hyatt memberships would be better for all in the future. They avoid the booking fees that way. There is their $15 fee plus a few more bucks prob saved not paying commission to a booking site.

My sister who is loaded up with Hyatt crap booked the room in both our names (She knows my vice, I cancelled the Orbitz reservation and got her 5 minute lecture on condom usage) and am now at the mercy of the night clerk however the reservation was marked noting that the guest would have several visitors. I of course did not mention to her the use of the invisible condom that was used 3 times in Frankfurt, Germany last week and how good it felt

I hit up Panama City for a week. Cool city that seems the crossroads of the world that it is. The canal history and Casco Viejo old town are fascinating. The people nice and cosmopolitan and from all over. I felt save too. Good food and bars are abundant. It's like Miami without the Russians. Uber works great.

They added an omelette station along with fresh fruit, juice, deli meat and cheeses. I made a few sandwiches to go and that tied me over until dinner. Great value. I arrived with no reservation and asked for a government rate. The clerks were great. I got a $70 rate for just asking and then showed my AAA Card. They didn't know the difference. Requested 18th floor and got it. Must be the rainy season. Save $$.

Now onto even more $avings! Forget the $50 cab ride round trip from the airport. You can do it for $2. 85 and put that savings toward your chica fees. Here's how. Follow the locals. After going through customs at Tocumen turn right after exiting the doors. You'll see one blue sign above. "Public Transportation". You'll be attacked by taxi drivers. Ignore them they want to rip you off. Stay on the sidewalk. There are no signs indicating this is a pedestrian walkway. You'll see a restaurant with a large orange sign. Chicken Port Restaurant. The sidewalk goes behind the restaurant and continues thru the back hallway and outside. Once you reach the end of the side walk (about a 4 minutes) you'll need to cross the street for the buses heading to the city. Two different buses use this route. I would recommend the large white air conditioned motor coach. They accept cash $1. 25. The city bus you need to use a bus card and they are not sold at the airport. You could ask a local to swipe theirs and reimburse them the $1.25. Either way be sure to get on the Tocumen corredor sur Bus. Once on the bus you can get dropped off anywhere on Avenida Balboa or go all the way to Allbrook Mall. I exited at Multicentro Mall and Ate lunch at Red Lion and walked to Hyatt with only a light shoulder bag. Taxi from the mall to Hyatt runs $4. Start to finish about 1 hour. Have confidence. If I succeeded you can too. The journey is the game. Returning back to the airport just hop on the metro subway (Iglesias Del Carmen) by Hyatt Place-It's 35 cents to Allbrook Mall. Exit (8 minute ride) and follow everyone to The National Bus Terminal. Once you arrive, you'll be a bit intimidated. It's Panamas version of Grand Central Station. Go straight to Platform E. Tocumen Corredor Sur. Buses leave every 15 minutes. You will need a prepaid bus card. Fare is $1.25 to the airport. So with subway and bus fare total is $1. 60 It took me about 1 hour from Hyatt Place to reach the airport. Yours could be shorter or longer. Traveling on the new subway or buses is easy and cost effective. You could Uber or take cabs but why? Save $$.

Now for the best part. Habanos was absolutely packed every night with nuggets from all over central and South America. Hot steamy nights has the girls ready to act quick and get out of the sauna at Habanos and into your AC Penthouse or Suite. Your mention of Spain has got me thinking of Europe or even Cartagena for new grounds but Panama is so dialed in for me and the quality of Chicas, safety, infrastructure and dollar make it so difficult to start new somewhere else. Recently had a short three night stay to check out what Panama had to offer. I just made the cut off it appears prior to the recent Hyatt changes for extra guest fees.

Airport. Simple and easy with no issue. You do the finger print thing which was easy and then move along to head out. They have a large shopping area and I picked a duty free liquor store before you head down escalator / stairs to leave. I grabbed my couple bottles and headed down. I had to wait an hour to get out since the line was huge to go through the final luggage scan. Someone told me they sometimes have a line dedicated for USA Arrivals, is this true and I caught it on a bad day?

Hyatt. I got the large high floor King which was perfect. Loved having a large couch to chill and the bed separate. Standard Hyatt type rooms like in the USA.

Habanos. Basically you just take a left out the entrance of Hyatt and then another left and you're at Habanos in 5 minutes walking. It's that easy. I was there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Friday it was just nuts loaded with hot girls to choose from. I got there "later" around 10 pm or so and there was no shortage of women. I just had some drinks and interviewed who I wanted. Since this was my first night to get the lay of the land I decided to walk over to Venetos around 11:00 pm or so to check it out knowing I could come back to Habanos. I looked at doing escorts / indy for some day time action but never had a chance in my short trip. The only purpose for escorts or indys is if its your first day after arrival or day of arrival and you haven't been to Habanos to get any girls numbers to meet up with you during the day or met a girl there yet. Recently had a short three night stay to check out what Panama had to offer. I just made the cut off it appears prior to the recent Hyatt changes for extra guest fees.

Airport. Simple and easy with no issue. You do the finger print thing which was easy and then move along to head out. They have a large shopping area and I picked a duty free liquor store before you head down escalator / stairs to leave. I grabbed my couple bottles and headed down. I had to wait an hour to get out since the line was huge to go through the final luggage scan. Hyatt. I got the large high floor King which was perfect. Loved having a large couch to chill and the bed separate. Standard Hyatt type rooms like in the USA.

Habanos. Basically you just take a left out the entrance of Hyatt and then another left and you're at Habanos in 5 minutes walking. It's that easy. I was there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Friday it was just nuts loaded with hot girls to choose from. I got there "later" around 10 pm or so and there was no shortage of women. I just had some drinks and interviewed who I wanted. Since this was my first night to get the lay of the land I decided to walk over to Venetos around 11:00 pm or so to check it out knowing I could come back to Habanos. Well, had a bit of a problem on the walk over as I saw two policia and they stopped me asking for my passport. As recommend by the guys on ISG, Everyone recommend Hyatt, I can confirm that they charge a $15 chica fee, BUT I did not pay the chica fee, I was lucky because I made up a bullshit story and told the people at the front desk, that I was calling about 3-4 times to confirm before I book my hotel if they were a guest fee and over the phone everyone told me NO. This is was first time staying with Hyatt and I told them I would be highly disappointed to be charge something extra when the hotel told me they don't charge a fee, I also mention it will not be good when I review the hotel with trip advisor and yelp. So with that bullshit story they waived the chica fee for fear that I might write a bad hotel review online. So for you guys that want to know if they charge a chica fee, They charge a $15 dollar fee, I did not pay but I doubt you can avoid it, I got lucky. Because they were making a transition from non-fee to fee.

Staying at the Hyatt Hotel.

I would say the Hyatt Hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious, Also they offer breakfast everyday for free and I would say it was very good, You get a breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, pancake, fresh fruit, etc. All the basic breakfast essentials. I heard some people say they don't like the breakfast but it was good especially since I don't have to pay for it.

Heading to Habanas.

So after getting settled in my hotel, I took a shower, and ate something downstairs at the hotel, after I ate I was tired and rested a little bit because of all the jet lag, I woke up around 10:30 pm so I said let me check out Habanas, Now this was a Saturday night, Habanas is not far its about 2 blocks away from Hyatt Hotel.

Habanas Overall Review.

I got there Saturday Night, I would say they had some decent girls and maybe 1 or 2 stunnas but to me the girls were average at best, Most of the girls want $150 and some even want $200 per hour with condom blowjob, Prices in Panama are defiantly high and its one of the most expensive mongering spots I have been too, My first night I took one stunna she was from Cali Columbia, she was a 10 and she wanted $200 per hour, After a few drinks and we getting to know each other, I agreed on $350 for the whole night, with bareback BJ, So we head back to the hotel and its about 12:30 am and she stayed until 8:00 am and she left, Her head game was good and the overall sex was good, I bust about 3 nuts with her. Panama Overall Review (Disappointed).

I would say traffic can sometimes be horrible, I know this is a very quick report, but overall I would say I was not impressed with Panama, They are some decent girls in Habanas, and other spots like Goldfingers, and places like LE Palance where girls charge $400 for takeout.

They have some decent girls but I have been to Colombia, I can get these same chicks for way cheaper and almost next to nothing, even Brazil is way cheaper, and the girls in Brazil will blow out any chick I seen in Habanas. That said, I saw guys bring in chicas and the staff was friendly and cheerful about the situation. I like to try out chicas I pull from a club at love hotel first and if I hit it off with someone, then invite them back to my hotel for LT, so the $15 fee wouldn't be problem for me, I'the gladly pay it for the right chica.

If not, and I end up going all the way to CTG, my layover in PTY is only 1:15 min going there and 50 min returning. Will I make it to my connecting flight? If I am literally landing and walking to my connecting gate in the same terminal, I think I will be OK, but if I have to through some some kind of security check, then I will be worried. Do I go through security if I am just connecting through PTY.

Thanks in advance.If you walk out at PTY, the rest of your reservation will be cancelled and no rebooking allowed, if not full fare. You shouldn't have any problems with the connection, because that's the way the airlines plan them.

Sometimes the ticket pricing is a bit strange. I have been looking for a flight with Air France to Medellin via PTY. The CDG-PTY flight in Business class is some 800 Euros more expensive than the exactly same flight CDG-PTY with a connecting PTY-MDE flight with Copa. I suppose they think they can charge business people going to PTY more than tourists going to Colombia.

Start of month did 4 night tour in Panama City from London thru Miami. Hyatt Place is great location, short walk to Cabanas, Veneto, Starbucks etc. Hotel is charging $15 joiner fee. Breakfast buffet was half decent and changed everyday. My room had a separate area with sofa which was cool. Veneto in the evening had a lot of ladies at the tables in front of the bar, or huddled around the slot machines. The place seemed very tired looking, and not much atmosphere. Chatted to girls from Columbia mostly, Cuba and Venezuela. Asking for $150ST. There's also the Marriott apparently but that place looks really dated with a crappy pool.

Airbnb is an option too I suppose but that's always a hassle for a short trip.

The airlines have software to allow them to program flight routes and charge for seats in a way that extracts the most from every passenger. You will always pay more for a direct flight than a flight with a stop to the same destination. That is why you pay more to fly direct to XYZ>PTY than you pay to fly XYZ>PTY>CTG. So if you get off the plane in PTY, without flying to CTG, you can't get back on the plane for the PTY>XYZ leg of your return flight. They will cancel your return flight. Even if you try to go to CTG to catch the complete CTG>PTY>XYZ route with all legs of the return flight, it is cancelled. Of course if you get off the plane in PTY after flying XYZ>PTY and throw away your return flight they can't do anything about you not continuing to CTG and what was basically a non stop flight at a lower airfare. It's just the way the fucked up airlines are. If you miss any leg of your trip, they cancel the remaining part of the reservation. I managed to talk my way out of one of these situations when they first started cancelling the return flights. The airline did have a delay on one of the flights etc but of course they knew what I was really doing and just let me slip by. But today it is standard most people know about this you will get fucked out of your return trip.

I just got back from a week in Panama. I was down there for a week of Spanish classes which wasn't far from the Hyatt. I hit Habanos a few times at night and also checked out the Veneto. It's been a long time since I wrote anything on ISG, but seeing how the PC thread is alive and well, I'll like to contribute. I usually do month long Colombian trips, Medellin in particular, so for those who like PC, you will love Medellin. It's only a one HR flight from PTY or use VivaColombia and it's much cheaper (even though you have to fly from Panama Pacifico Airport).

I'm a chino and have family in Panama, so decided to visit them after doing my usually Medellin trip. I know prices are higher and chicas can be little hard coreish, but you can find a nice chica that provides good service for a relatively decent price. You just have to be patient and stay in your lane. I have hit the usual spots (Veneto, Habanos, Capri, Gruta Azul, Bocatorena, La Mayor, massage parlors).
