I've got most of a day coming up in Angeles, wanted to get some recommendations on places to stay. I'll arrive 10 am and need to leave for the airport at midnight. It's a Monday, so should not be too busy. I know several hotels there rent short time. I would appreciate recommendations. I'the prefer a nicer place. A place a walk from walking street. Day 1.
Landed in Manila took a metered taxi and got to Dragonlink Suites.
Dragonlink Suites was OK for the most part affordable but Chinese owned. Chinese owned hotels always a pain in the ass when it comes to policy. Driver says can I pay him double because he won't get a return fare on the 90 km trip. I say get fucked. He wants to cancel. I said ill report you dude. He says can you give me 3000 I say get fucked and he says petrol is expensive. I start thinking about sex and say OK ill do 2500. He says OK and we take some tollway that cuts the time to about 90 min. Someone said the buses take 3++ hours. Not sure.
Anyway then he tries to make me pay the toll at the end (and the toll for the way home) of about 90 per pop. I say fuck off and he says pay one toll and I say OK.
In my opinion it is not worth paying to travel to AC. This is my thoughts.
There are so many more bars. Many are so small. You will be the only customer in the daytime and also sometimes at night. The girls all glare at you and you can't hide in the background a row back like in Makati. The girls wear more clothes than Makati. They are skimpy, but not as skimpy. I spent 30 minutes in one of the bigger clubs. It had more than 30 girls up on stage and I could not find one that I really liked. It really is different to Makati. Seems like they are older and uglier here. There are also not that many freelancers. You are not being approached on the street every 10 seconds. The choice is greater in the clubs in terms of more bars and more girls overall. But the quality in my opinion is just way worse. You can see 150 girls here and not be impressed with any of them.
The bar fine in some clubs in the day was 2700 for a short time of 4-6 hours and 3500 in almost all of them for LT in the night. The money is paid directly to the bar before you leave so its risky if the girl wants to leave. Here I barfined my first girl ever because there was no one on the street making offers.
I had visited about 15 of the clubs for between 5-30 min throughout the day buying only a water or can of mango or pinable juice in each and not buying drinking for anyone. I threw a couple of buckets of pingpong balls at them for 300 peso for 15 or so balls. The girl gets 15 peso per ball but we pay 30 peso so the club gets half. 100 balls are discounted to 2000 peso. Do not make AC your final destination. Listen to the people smarter than me. Make Makati your last night.
I stayed at the grand palace hotel which is ok. Internet is bad. The location is perfect. I do not recommend travelling here for girls. Might be a bit cheaper but factor in travel time and COST and that hotels are the same price or more expensive than Makati but worse. And that there is risk because you pay the bar upfront and the girl can leave and you can't stop it because she has been paid. And the girls are not as good looking. There are fewer good loooking girls. Not many freelancers. Less girls on wechat.

I just spent 3 days in Angeles and I noticed this problem only applies to certain bar (E. G. Viking).
Lollipop (definitely my favourite now) and many others seem to affected by this practice. Because of working schedule I have been able to start bar hopping everyday around 16 and was in the bars (the ones I like) during shift changes.
Anyway the overall quality in Angeles seems quite low nowadays (both beauty and attitude) and I think I will test Manila in August rather than repeat this (one of the night it was so poor I did not bring anybody home!

Well, it seems like you have to be lined up at the door at 10.00 am nowadays. I don't know if any pussy is worth that much effort.I tried doing that and failed. Went to a korean bars in fields at 10:15 and there was already 6 other guys but only two of them were Korean. Warning: Today is my rant day. So do not read if you are allergic to those sorts of things. Normally, I proofread several times before I upload. But like I said, today is my rant day.
This happened several years ago. Come to think of it, it might have been year 2014 exactly. Camelot just reopened after a months-long shutdown, as a result of a government raid. They were so scared of another raid that if you inquired the mamasan about barfine, she would act clueless and say it's up to the girl. You had to deal directly with the girl. Then the girl would say (if she was up to it), "2,000 pesos. You pay in the hotel. " The mamasan was just an observer. They were adamant about not receiving the 2,000 pesos inside Camelot because that was what got them shut down months earlier. From other reports, I can deduce that the safety conscious mayor is just cleaning things up. Lopping trees so that tall mongers don't hit their heads, removing obstacles from the sidewalk so that fat mongers don't trip and getting rid of the chick selling peanuts so that allergic mongers don't die of anaphylaxis shock. This is all good.

I took home one of the two large suitcases I used to keep here in Angeles for the past 7 years on my last trip and I will take the last one home this trip. AC has become too difficult to monger in and if I wanted this difficult I could just go clubbing in regular bars around the world and get girls for free. I think it might be possible to get a girlfriend here but the quality and age of the P4P is downright offensive. Does anyone know of any decent city in the Philippines where a good looking guy can get some pretty girls. Also I do not believe in paying over 3000 php for longtime in any country but especially not in a country with an average income of 12,000 php a month. Most countries P4P is equal to 3-4 days of the annual wage which would 1,500 - 2,000 in the Philippines and 20,000-25,000 php in America and 2,500-3,000 in China. So these prices are a bit silly but I can withstand 3,000 php for a pleasant experience. Any advice is appreciated I am leaning towards Davao although my favorite girls are from Samar and Mindanao.

Cheers. G.When I first got to AC in 2012 I was only paying 500 for short time and 1000 for longtime and never even went into the bars. I still rarely pay 3000 for longtime but I am willing to pay that much for a good experience.
I prefer a fishbowl where you can pick one and take her back to your hotel. Even if it seems all business it is very possible to get any girl to give you GFE with the right touching and kissing.
Just to prove it although I currently have no good info about girls in AC "unless you want over 25 years old baby mamas who are fat, scarred, smelly, and with missing teeth" and yes there still are some diamonds in the rough but it just isn't worth the prove or effort to find them in AC.
Although there is still some good food in AC at places like:
Penthouse Hotel rooftop but usually only their weekly special the menu food is usually only so-so. 300-400 pesos.
Marano Grill at Oasis Hotel which in my opinion for the price is the best quality and tasting food in AC no matter what you get there although they do like to use salt which I like but you may not. You can tell them to add less salt and the serve anything on the menu 24 hours a day! 400-700 peso Steak from Australia is 2000.
Maik's which is the new Herman's after he so mysteriously died of a heart-attack. The food is even better than before. Sorry Herman. 400-700 pesos. Large steak is 1000.
Café Noele in SM Mall is very good and super inexpensive and everything is also pretty good. 200-450 pesos.
Ikabud and Gerry's In SM mall are pretty good for Filipino food although Gerry's is a bit more expensive. Figure 300-700 per person for family style table servings.
RBI's Cheeseburger is very good for under 400 pesos but the best I have had in AC.
Margarita Station *Desserts only* although they used to be 80 pesos a piece for pies and cakes and now they are almost 200 pesos each piece. Their Dreamcicle Shake at 120 pesos is good too as it reminds me of a 50's diner.
Paizano's pizza isn't bad for the price although nothing compared to American or Italian pizza. 600-800 for a 16".
Italy Trattoria's pizza is small but pretty good for a gourmet pizza.
450-600 for a 12".
If you are still deadset on going to AC for girls, I recommend walking on walking street from 4 pm to 9 pm and then again from 1 am to 4 am. You can pop into High Society and use the touch an feel method to try and determine whether the girl is acceptable but it is so dark and smoky in there you really might be surprised when she enters the light. The massage girls used to have a few gems but this trip I have even been sadly disappointed by them. You might get lucky, but if you want to work so hard just stay where you are to find girls. There are girls with daddy issues all around the world.
Last note: I blocked Dg8787 a long time ago because he is financially invested in AC which makes anything he says totally biased. There are a lot of jerks on the internet now so learn to use your ignore and block features.
Personally I don't see AC recovering and that is sad because I had such glorious memories here. Just like China, the rest of SEA is slowly dying in the P4P market.

When I first got to AC in 2012 I was only paying 500 for short time and 1000 for longtime and never even went into the bars. I still rarely pay 3000 for longtime but I am willing to pay that much for a good experience.
I prefer a fishbowl where you can pick one and take her back to your hotel. Even if it seems all business it is very possible to get any girl to give you GFE with the right touching and kissing.
Just to prove my research abilities although I currently have no good info about girls in AC "unless you want over 25 years old baby mamas who are fat, scarred, smelly, and with missing teeth" and yes there still are some diamonds in the rough but it just isn't worth the time or effort to find them in AC.
Although there is still some good food in AC at places like:
Penthouse Hotel rooftop but usually only their weekly special the menu food is usually only so-so. 300-400 pesos.
Marano Grill at Oasis Hotel which in my opinion for the price is the best quality and tasting food in AC no matter what you get there although they do like to use salt which I like but you may not. You can tell them to add less salt and the serve anything on the menu 24 hours a day! 400-700 peso Steak from Australia is 2000.
Maik's which is the new Herman's after he so mysteriously died of a heart-attack. The food is even better than before. Sorry Herman. 400-700 pesos. Large steak is 1000.
Café Noele in SM Mall is very good and super inexpensive and everything is also pretty good. 200-450 pesos.
Ikabud and Gerry's In SM mall are pretty good for Filipino food although Gerry's is a bit more expensive. Figure 300-700 per person for family style table servings.
RBI's Cheeseburger is very good for 340 pesos in fact it is the best I have had in AC.
Margarita Station *DESSERTS ONLY* although they used to be 80 pesos a piece for pies and cakes and now they are almost 200 pesos each piece. Their Dreamcicle Shake at 120 pesos is good too as it reminds me of a 50's diner.
Paizano's pizza isn't bad for the price although nothing compared to American or Italian pizza. 600-800 for a 16".
Italy Trattoria's pizza is small but pretty good for a gourmet pizza.
450-600 for a 12".
If you are still deadset on going to AC for girls, I recommend walking on walking street from 4 pm to 9 pm and then again from 1 am to 4 am. You can pop into High Society and use the touch an feel method to try and determine whether the girl is acceptable but it is so dark and smoky in there you really might be surprised when she enters the light. The massage girls used to have a few gems but this trip I have even been sadly disappointed by them. You might get lucky, but if you want to work so hard just stay where you are to find girls. I took home one of the two large suitcases I used to keep here in Angeles for the past 7 years on my last trip and I will take the last one home this trip. AC has become too difficult to monger in and if I wanted this difficult I could just go clubbing in regular bars around the world and get girls for free. I think it might be possible to get a girlfriend here but the quality and age of the P4P is downright offensive. On my last trip I met a Korean named Kao from Seoul. He was 30, a Manager at a Super market and spoke English. I tagged along with him and two older guys on a Sunday night. I asked him how much they pay the girls? He said 4 k to 5 k for all day. If they get bar girls 3.5 k plus 1.5 k to 2 k tip and HiSo & walking girls 4 k to 5 k. I told him how much did he make a month? He said 3 million Won a month which is around 2,500 US dollars a month! He said most of his friends and family made a little more or less. I naturally asked him why they pay more? He said it was really not a lot because in South Korea a hot girl might cost 80 to over 100 US dollars for 1 HR plus a flight to Clark is 160 bucks and Manila around 120 bucks round trip! That's the game changer guys! In almost anywhere in the you. S a flight is around 500 to 800 plus depending on how many stops and time in advance you buy. Yesterday, I caught the 2:30 pm Genesis bus SM Clark to NAIA T3. It only took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Traffic moved thru Manila at a decent pace. Seems like the clearing of sidewalk vendors and enforcing the bus lanes has helped tremendously.

T.I was staying for a few weeks at the royal Amsterdam, and they told me my room was booked up. I needed to hunt for another hotel.
I went to Kokomos, 2 x to look at rooms, I'm not very picky for hotels but I didn't like it.
It was very old, pool looks unusable, very very noisy.
One thing I will say that I loved but not enough to make me stay there, is the fact they don't have windows in the rooms.
Great for sleeping, less street noise, and I usually want to sleep all day? So it keeps the sunlight out.
If you like to eat there or hang out there, I might say stay there.
Its a pretty good location.
