Pattaya has more "side activities". AC is just sex, sex and more sex. But hey, if that is what you go for.........I prefer AC.
I find that pattaya is cheaper in every category especially food. I agree that the filipinas attitudes are much better and they are hornier than thai girls. I find that the girls are prettier and slimmer in Pattaya.
I think it all depends on where you stay and eat. I found the hotels (on equal terms and quality) to be cheaper in Pattaya and in general the food I ate were also cheaper in Pattaya. Drinking (as I mostly do Happy hours) were about equal when it's 2 for 1 or half priced drinks during those times.
For some reason, I found the Filipas prettier and younger in general--but that's IMO.

i was in ac for the first time in september/october 2009. and i'm coming back again because i had a blast!
i thought i posted a report about my experience, but i don't see it so i guess i didn't. a bit of time has passed so i'll try my best to provide detailed information.
arrived at manila airport, a lg driver was waiting for me and easy to find. awesome guy, walter was his name. very friendly and was able to keep a good conversation going the entire trip to the hotel. cost = $3000. relatively expensive perhaps. but very convenient and i'd do it again.
good service at lg check in and the room was nice though not spectacular. i found that a couple time the cleaners didn't leave new soaps, or restock enough towels, but they were always quick to bring it for me if i called. leave a few pesos on the bed and they'll do a great job of course! i think the best part about staying at lg was when you tell the girls where you are staying their eyes light up! i also examined the bill very closely upon checkout and there were no extra charges whatsoever. i even stated i was a gov't employee and requested the 10% discount and they gave it to me without even asking for proof (which i had if required).
i had planned to meet up with a fellow isg member, and i was very happy i did. he was a very nice american gentleman who was by that time living in ac. we went out a few times along with some of his friends to some of his favorite places and i ran into him a few times at random. ac is definitely a small town when you're there to monger. i had a couple occasions where i was walking down the street only to hear a girl yell out my name from the entrance to her bar. polite wave and hello, and just say i'm going to meet a friend!
i was in ac for approximately 13 days, and if my memory serves me correctly there were 13 different girls. i did see some of them on more than one occasion, but in those cases it was the girls coming by the hotel after their shift or on their day off. not repeat bf's. no girls was bf'd more than once, and i was surprised at how many were interested in additional "freebie" hook-ups. maybe it was the comfy bed/hot showers at the lg?

although i averaged a girl a day, there were so many more that i wanted but didn't have time. it was my first time there, but it seemed that going in late september/early october left me with so much choice. many of the bars (especially perimeter) were void of customers. you could sit with 2 or 3 girls hanging off you, touching/rubbing you and vice versa, without having to buy any ld's. they just didn't have anything else to do so were happy to compete for the attention. the worst part of that was that

so, now on to my question for other members: i'm planning on returning at the same time this year, late september into early october. i'm looking for a room to rent for up to 3 weeks. i know it seems like a long time, but when you have to fly so damn far to get there you might as well take your time and enjoy it.
does any know of any private residences that can be rented for that long? i had no problem with lg and money isn't so much an issue, and i would consider it again but i would also like something
like a private condo or something near the action which provides me with both increased privacy but more importantly is safe and secure. does anyone have any suggestions? any would be appreciated.

Pattaya has cheaper and better quality hotels, but girls are cheaper in AC. Food is probably cheaper too in Pattaya especially for me since I can eat local thai food but am not a fan of Filipino food.Triplex,

They all speak English. Some horribly, and some are real slow at comprehending English. But compared to the Thais, they're Berlitz grads.
I stay clear of Thai girls that can speak English and any multitude of European languages. They've been in the biz too long!
You can still get the malibog newbies in AC if you spell out your needs clearly. I mongered at this one bar, and I was choosy and would only BF the new gals. And definitely no moms! And guess what, 2 surrendered their ass cherries gladly! I don't tell on the ones that gave up their ass cherries to save them "face". And the girls are all HOT GFE. Not sure that's so easy to find in Pattaya.
My experience was that most of the girls, especially if you develop a good rapport with them (which is not difficult), they treat you as a boyfriend. You might be introduced as their boyfriend or maybe they are marking their territory (but that won’t stop me wandering). They will hold your hand at the mall and dote on you (and I found some of them to be more genuinely affectionate than some girlfriends I have had in the past). And in some very extreme cases, they want to take you home to meet their folks. As far as they are concerned, you are their boyfriend and they are your girlfriend (albeit a short term one). This is something I have not experienced elsewhere where English is widely spoken. Certainly not in Thailand. In Thailand, I have read that the bar girls may be a little ashamed to be seen with you. In Philippines, it’s almost the opposite, you are a status symbol to be shown off (I like it!)
GFE on the other hand is different. In the real world, you will maybe get BBBJ, maybe kissing on the lips and any other extras will almost always be an act to them. It may be a performance worthy of an Academy Award, but you know it isn’t real.

Yes, and it is the best of time. Bring your swimming suit, there will be a huge number of girls, drink and food is included in the entry. This event will include bar girl boxing matches, they all wear these huge gloves and try to push each other in the water to win, there will be betting on each match. More than boxing, its more like a big pillow fight with get thrown in the pool theme. Even the guys on a budget who attend say it is worth every peso of the 1,000 entry they charge, and it goes to charity.

At the same time, it's rather pathetic to see those middle aged men (and sometimes much older!), obese & bald (well at least one of the two) spending their holiday in this huge slum that is AC I've travelled around the phils, it's a beautiful country, and AC is by far the shittiest place in the whole country! AC is pretty much like a huge favella.
Also the food literally sucks there. Nothing like Manilla where you can have a really good experience at the Shangri La, Hyatt or other 5 stars hotel restaurants Angeles is neither for food gourmets nor pussy gourmets (Manila girls are more expensive but better looking).
As others guys said, AC is about boredom as there isn't much to do except fucking girls, and bar action mostly starts at 6PM

I try to make my trip at least 4 days. (Have noticed Disneyland have 5 day passes). I have been there 6 times. Its not depressing for me. When I arrive, it feels like I have come home :) . It’s depressing only when I leave :(

Except that they don’t speak Portuguese and police & security presence is much higher in AC. Haven’t seen a SM Mall or any mall with Dolby Digital cinemas in a favela yet.

Yeah, I agree about the hotels. Have you seen the mould colored walls in Holiday Inn Clark? Some color blind interior designer thought it was a good. Even Lewis Grand would rate 3.5 stars at the most. Comfortable enough though. However many of the punters here seem happy with the 1 – 2 star rating of many places. Want gourmet food? Yats at Mimosa near Holiday Inn Clark has imported Kobe/Wagyu and an impressive collection of very fine (and expensive) wines (that would put Manila or Pattaya to shame). Heard the Brazilian restaurant there is pretty good. I can’t fault the steaks at Swiss Chalet and the wine is very good value. Lots of fast food too, my only criticism there is do they really need to add rice all the time?

There is many good food here, like the C' Italian and the Zappata, the mexican food. Filipino food is good here in angeles, I suggest you try the kare kare, crispy pata, lechon kawali, sisik, buko, tinolang manok. The Max's Restaurant at SM Mall Ground Floor is my favorite place.

The Fortune Restaurant opposite the casino, have some very good chinese food, especially the chicken feet, yangchow fried rice. Remember to try the ginger sauce and chili sauce with your chicken.
You also can have some cheap food in Chow King, only 50p-100p, but a little small for a white guy. They just open a new branch near the McDonald. I don't have to walk to Margarita branch anymore.

In agreement with a lot of your thoughts. I too, don't care to do AC. If I go, 2 nights is enough for me. I get bored there and I don't like the layout or area. For most here though, I don't think Manila or Makati will work for them. I don't think I agree that the hotels are better elsewhere in PI. I definitely think the value is better in AC for hotels.

Trust me! I fornicate a lot no matter where in the Philippines I am. AC is usually my last stop during my trips there because the air quality is the worst I've experienced and it plays hell with my nose/throat like it does to most people who go there. I go there last because there are so many other better places to go in the islands to chase punani. First timers should be aware of this fact. AC is fun, but it's by no means the best place to go in the Philippines to partake in a variety of activities. Eat, sleep, drink, F***, is about the extent of what's available in AC. I agree with you that there are wonderful things to see in the Philippines and you meet some really genuine Filipino people when you travel to the provinces, outside of Angeles or Manila. I understand what you are saying, but you are speaking as a guest to Angeles. If one is not accustom to continual bar hopping and non-stop sexual activity with a variety of girls, it can become wearing after a period of time. And the expats here do travel around the philippines, many have houses or apartments in other parts of the country. The cost of living, allows many on a pension to have a better life than otherwise possible in their home country. Some move back and forth between their home country, perhaps to escape winters back home. All I can imagine, its better than living in a trailer park in Scottsdale Arizona, playing bingo and stringing beads to sell at the flea market.

I've never been to Angeles, so have no opinions of the town one way or the other. However, what Matius says about the difference between those of us who live in the country, and those who visit, holds true in virtually all areas of the country that I've visited.
I live in Davao, and travel frequently around Mindanao and to Manila, and I've observed the same phenomenon; the visitors' frenzied, often ceaseless pursuit of lots of women in as short a time as possible, till burnout occurs. This is not to disparage the tourists, but merely to point out that for those of us who live here, the compulsion isn't the same. We have actual, somewhat more prosaic lives comprised of work, friends, hobbies, clubs, and so on, much as we would have in our home countries. I guess if you live here the bottom line changes, and you're more apt to mimic the life you led at home.

You're right Robb. In my earlier visits to the Philippines years ago, I would pick girls who interested me because of my own physical attraction towards them regardless of how they felt about me, with some disastrous results. I don't do that anymore. Establishing rapport with potential bed mates is first on my list nowadays. If you have to get a bunch of agreements notorized (Damn near anyway) before you leave the club with a girl, don't expect to have a wonderful GF experience once you're back at your hotel room. Neither here nor there, but found out she was sending home 6,000P a month, plus surely enough left over to support herself. Oh yeah, she commented that she had a laptop too.

The Phils is a bit more GFE precisely because (as others have pointed out correctly) the ladies do not like to see themselves as hookers. Thus the 'contractual' approach does not work as well here as in LOS imo.
Having said that, being a lazy sod myself, I find that sitting back and waiting for Ms Right to come to me and do the convincing leads to some pretty spectacular outcomes...however, it can take longer as sometimes the ones that make that effort are not to my taste...so I have to move on till Ms Right hits on me. :) so sad.

Or waking up late and saying she has to run to morning seminar or medical.
I guess all this just makes Life that more varied in the quest for the perfect date. If only one had enough time and money.

Just returned from Angeles City and discovered Hotel EuroAsia, a real gem. About five minute walk from most of the action, which is great because it's quiet. An American from Las Vegas, Robert Barragan, is now running the place, and the hotel and food are top notch. Rob is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local scene. Not expensive either, only about 1600 pesos per night. Rooms clean, internet in room works, and they are opening a Playboy type club in the back/pool area.

I voiced my concern about being able to get girls to go with me from his bar, now that one of their colleagues was gone because of my complaint. He said not to worry, they did not tell anybody else and she was just asked to dress up and leave. Of course I'll bet the girl swore a blue streak in the dressing room.
Indeed I had cold receptions from the girls that night, even with LDs. But it was also an unusual request, as my other BF wanted to recruit for 3-some action.
So, anyway, the end with visiting Tropix, for me. I'm just reporting here so you'll know this is one bar that doesn't stand for scams by the girls. And the girls there are good lookers. Unlike the other body paint bars, this one has them all day and night, everyday! And, same price as anybody else. An amazing 1350. Most other bars with body paint girls charge 3000P.

Take this report to most reputable bars prior to doing any business and suggest they will be eager to cross you off their list as well. I also suggest you select a different venue than Angeles, this approach if at all successful, will only get you the most hard core, well worn sluts that Angeles has to offer. Too cheap to buy a ladies drink without having the waitress conduct an interview, taking witnesses to the terms of engagement, you've got to be kidding.
Your position is that you entered into a contract of purchase and the terms of the contract were not fullfilled, thus your expectation of punishment to the offending party. Have you ever thought that maybe these girls don't want to spend any time with you, if they go with you, get the job done and get out, because you are such an a..hole. You have no appreciation of the culture of the Philippines, and suggest you are not only the bar's but a girl's worst nightmare of a customer.
This is the "how to" post of not having a good time in Angeles. You treat these exchanges like a business transaction then you will get a business transaction. You don't even understand that in asking about the tip, unless it was signficant, and mean more than 500 p, she was not going to spend another minute with you. The girl was not put on suspension, and yes all the girls knew about you, and no it was not your unusual request for a three some, none wanted to go with you. And just maybe your bf for that night wanted a threesome, just so she would not have to be alone with you, or at least f..k you three times in one night.
A gentleman, with the right attitude and some meager home training in manners, will have trouble getting most of the girls to leave in the morning. You will of course take offense by this response, but anyone with experience in this city knows what you did just does not work here. You'll get laid by some girls, but that will be about all. Look in the mirror if you want to know what the problem is.

Hoboken, talk to the english papasan at bodyshop if you really feel aggrieved. (daddy robbie). I've barfined twice from there (absolutely amazing girl) and have had nothing but good service from there (but I realise experiences can vary on a case by case basis).
Try a different approach. Maybe being charming, humorous, and opening your wallet and buying a coupe of LD. See if it works better. The results will certainly be more memorable. Who has the time to get annoyed/complain in AC. Save that for when you're back home. Peace out.

I would over book your hotel stay in Manila by a few days in case you want to stay on there, and book yourself into an AC hotel early in case you want to leave Manila early. I do this all the time. Just remember to either go on line to adjust your bookings, or call the hotel with your changes. There's fun to be had in both locations, but if you're not use to big cities, big city attitudes, and dealing with big city people who will take advantage of you if you allow them to, then I suggest you go to AC, especially if your traveling without a wingman. One week is not a lot of time. AC will give you more bang for your buck.

Just came back from an 11 day stay in AC. The rundown:
I only paid four long-time barfines the whole trip. The remaining girls were short-time girls, hotel/restaurant waitresses, online hookups, etc. Of the four LT BF's, I'd BF'd three of them before. Two of them—girls that I already knew—were both one-round only. One stayed all night, but had to go to hygiene the next morning. The other left after an hour or so because her sister was locked out of their apartment or something. Very unusual, as I'd BF'd her twice before and she was always quite eager to please. So those of you guys who say, “How can I have just been unlucky with runners so many times in a row?” Well, it's quite easy, actually. Both of these one-rounders are still on my A-list.
The third girl that I'd BF'd before was a 3-rounder. In fact she probably would have stayed longer, but I sent her packing around noon or so because I had another appointment.
The fourth girl—my only new barfine of the trip—stayed for two rounds, but was asking after the first what time she could go home. Normally I would never do a blatant sneakout like that, but it was her idea, heh. Her reason? “I was horny,” she said. Damn I love this town. She must have been happy with the arrangement, as I stopped by to say hi on my way out of town the next day, and we exchanged Yahoo ID's.
One thing I'm curious about: which bar owner bribed the city officials to put that red smudge on the 2010 ID's as camouflage? I am not joking, by the way. I'm convinced that's how it happened. I used to be able to spot the V from quite a distance. Now with the red smudge you have to get a lot closer and be a lot more obvious about it.
I am an experienced Latin American (mostly Rio de Janeiro) monger thinking about coming to AC. I like Rio but it has gotten outrageously expensive of late so I am exploring other options. I notice that there are some posters in the PI sections that are also in the Rio section so this is a good sign. From what I have read I like the way the GFE is in PI (similar to Rio I assume) and I have always found the Filipinas to be quite attractive. I have been reading all of the PI forums here for the last 2 months and read the Philippines FAQ but still have some questions.
What is up with the cherry girls? Are they the ones with the "V" on their ID cards? Do they do BJ, etc? I must admit that I would like to see an intact hymen up close.
What is the deal with BF? Does that include a payment to the girl or is her payment totally separate?

You know what man? I would be willing to bet she said to herself "Im not sure about this but Ill give this guy a try". There was no conspiracy to run. And your assertion about ST is wrong as well.
Others have said it already...maybe PI isnt for you. Pinays dont respond well to being treated like a business deal. At all. LOS or Czech Republic might be more your style. Dont expect any GFE though.

But your statement that all spotlight/body paint dancers on Fields are at the same BF level. Not so at Tropix. The body paint girls go for the same basic 1350 as regular dancers, waitress etc.
But actually, I'm not all that worked up over the issue, despite what some on the board thinks. And strictly speaking, "indefinite" suspension means exactly that. 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month, who on earth knows beyond management!
And before I leave the topic of settling all details with the mamasan before exiting the bar. At Tropix it happens that way. Mamasan comes around to collect direct for her girl. Same I believe at Agasaya, or however that is spelled.

So we arrive back in AC from Thailan after midnight on Jan 27th. We all check back into the Lewis Grand, take showers and go our separate ways. My apologies, perhaps both our reports were too harsh in their construction. Your base point that you are not an a-hole and perhaps I am in my response, is accepted. Sorry for the delay, but I didn't find the time to write this report ealier.
I visited AC at the end of Feb., together with 2 friends. We stayed for 5 nights at the "Pacific Breeze" hotel, which was nice as always, but not much different than other cheaper hotels. Our regular was always "Central Park", but it is currently going through some renovations and was fully booked anyway.
This trip was our chance to explore the "Perimeter" bars, as we have never explored that area before. Our schedule was the same for each of the 5 days:
10am. Breakfast
2pm. Visit some of the Perimeter bars and try to BF a girl
4pm. Take an afternoon nap (alone, or with the girl from Perimeter)
8pm. Dinner
9pm. Bar-Hopping in Fields
1am. Late-Night Dinner for the girls (we guys were never hungry)
2am. Party-Time in the room (hopefully not alone)
We have eventually scanned ALL the bars in Perimeter and in Fields. Some of them we just took a quick look and got out. Some of them we had a drink and maybe BF a girl.
Sorry for reporting only MY events and not saying more about my friends. It's my report anyway:
Day 1:

Day 4:
Before my trip I spent some time on the web and found some girls in dating sites. I was very honest and told them as follows: I will be arriving to AC with 2 friends, for having fun in the bars. During the daytime it will be very boring and I hope they would agree to come over and spend the daytime together.
Eventully, I approached 30 girls (which I liked, and live in AC). I got positive answers from 6 of them. One girl was very special, as I recognized her face. I saw her working at Atlantis in my prevoius visits. I was chatting with her online and asked her if that was true and she said YES. On the 4th day (morning), I arranged for her to join me for breakfast at the hotel.
We spend the whole morning together (one of my friends also had a girl that refused to leave him, so we were 3 guys and 2 girls). The girl's attitude was the BEST I have ever seen. She was SO cute and gave great GFE. Maybe it was because we already had time to build some relatoinship before.
We repeated our fixed schedule (together with the 2 girls), trying to find a girl for our 3rd friend. At 4pm it was time to take our afternoon nap. I gave my girl 2 options. Day 5:

I didn't have time to think if I like her or not, before my friend took the decision for me and told her to GET DRESSED. She was wondering if I supported this move, but my friend can make this ANGRY that would cause any person in the world to stop talking and start moving! Since this friend knows me so well and can actually pick-up girls for me, I decided to trust him and go along with his decision.
The girl stayed with me until the morning (afternoon fun + evening fun), when we had our flight back to Hong Kong. It was one of my better experiences in AC and the girl felt the same. She said she's been working around 2 years and it was only her second time to agree to LT with anybody. She usually only agrees to ST, so she can go back and make more money. She was SO happy with me and refused to let me out of her sight or her hand. I guess I can also give some BFE!
Eventually, I had one bad evening, one wasted evening, 3 GREAT evenings, and 2 GREAT afternoons. Not so bad for one trip.

Sure they do. They have to let you take video because if they didn't most of the big bars would be empty. DLD's and 3000P bf's only go so far.

A buddy and I were bar hopping last weekend and for the third night in a row went in to Dirty Duck. The first two visits we couldn't find a seat, but last night they was one bench seat open at the door. As we were waiting for our first drink a cute waitress walked by and caught my eye. Sorry report kind of long. A buddy (Zmax) and I just returned from 4 days in AC.
We arrived in Subic and were met by Leo from Kokomo’s and had a 45 minute ride to AC. Leo was great and I scheduled him back to Manila on Monday morning.
We arrived at the ABC Hotel Thursday night around 6 pm. ABC is great place to stay and I had no issues with the hotel. We used the free service car very day and had no issues. After staying at the Lewis Grand and Clarkton, I liked ABC as much as I do the Clarkton, but location, location, location. The room was 4700P a night.
We averaged 10-12 hour bar hops everyday and this report is based on all four days.
Candy Bar: Bar was packed on the two nights that went in. One AC was down and it was very hot, so we didn’t stay long. Met with Scott and Troy and Fye and as always Candy Bar is a great bar to visit. We would of stayed longer each visit if there had been more room and not so hot. I bar fined 3 girls and Zmax took two girls out during our trip. We really didn’t get to see a full lineup of girls, as the bar was very busy and most girls had customers.
Sunshine Bar: Bar was pretty empty compared to my last few visits. Only 5 or 6 customers and the lineup of girls were lacking. We only stayed (in two visits) for one drink.
Treasure Island: We visited TI everyday and sometimes twice (afternoon and late night). As always TI is a great time and we met up with Daddy Dave. I always have fun in TI and this trip was no different. The girls love to have fun and as the pictures show, we did too. Two small issues here, not with the bar, but with customers. One visit we have a Fil-AM (wannabe rapper???) in the bar with two girls drinking with him and a customer walked in and went to sit in the bench next to him (Not beside him, next bench over) and he yelled that the guy, “Hey, that seat is for my girls!!!!” I was shocked and the guy got up and left the bar. He was very rude to the customer. Last night we were there it was only us and Daddy Dave in bar when two guys came in and started making really discouraging remarks to the girls about us. I don’t know who they were, but I wasn’t in mood to hear it and I told them and luckily I stopped myself from getting physical. They apologized and I told them that it was too late. Daddy Dave heard it and came over and wanted to ensure we were okay and I told him no worries and we got our check and left.
Cambodia: I haven’t (can’t remember) ever visiting this club before. But we visited two nights (Saturday/Sunday) and it was busy both nights we had a good time. The bar was hopping and the girls were in a playful mood. We met the Daddy (sorry don’t remember his name) and I think he was having as much fun watching us, as we were. A good lineup and Zmax had a great time with two cherry girls.
Bedrock: I think this was my first visit here and I did like the bar. It was a little small (long), but okay. We had a great time Saturday night and went back Sunday night. A lot of girls here have permed hair and I like the different look. There were a few hotties in there.
Love and Music: We went down Friday night to that area bar hopping and stopped here. We had one drink and weren’t impressed. Nice line up of girls (in dresses) and around 10 customers downstairs and we didn’t go upstairs. We went back Saturday night for the Doghouse party and it started off really slow (Filipino time) and it got very hot during the show. Over the show was okay, but nothing you can’t really see in the other bars. I had barfined two girls from Lollipop for a nooner and asked them if they would like to go to the Doghouse party and I took them with us. Lollipop girls put on dance routine and so they knew my girls, we ended up with six girls on our couch
Shooters: We stopped Friday night and I guess it was the Daddy’s birthday and they were having a party. I saw a bell and two prices, but no listing for what each price was going to get. Zmax asked one of the waitresses and one price (4.500) was for a normal bell ring only and the other price (7,500) included a free EWR and a T-Shirt. I guess someone poured water down the daddy’s back and he took a long cane and started smacking the bar (10 times) and scaring the fuck out of the girls. They went running off the other end of the stage. VERY un-cool and I told Zmax that I was not staying here and watching this. I thought that he was being very rude.
Lost In Asia: We stopped here 3 out of four days and as always had a great time. Glad to see Duke is feeling better. LIA was busy the first visit, slow then busy the second visit and the only five customers on Sunday during our last visit. It was one of my first bars in 2009 that I went in with Reevescarl and met Duke and I have always felt at home there. The line up varied each visit. The first night it was around 9 pm and most of the girls were already gone. On Sunday the lineup was great and we had five girls topless at our table and had a ball. We barfined 4 girls out of Candy Bar Friday night and took them to LIA and in all we had six body shots while we were there.
Roadies: In the past I really had a great time in Roadies and I did this trip. But and please don’t ask me why, but I was bothered by the Daddy sitting on the ends of the booths playing with his computer. He kind of acted like we were bothering him. We didn’t stay long (one drink) both visits, but I felt uncomfortable and like we were not welcome. Nice lineup of girls and we did have fun playing with them. Both visits the bar had no customers.
Silly Hat: Stopped by Sunday (4 pm) and the lineup was okay, not great, but okay. A few expats were playing pool. We stayed for one drink and moved on. I did have one cutie and if the time had been right, I would of ST’ed her.
Rocking Dave’s: Stopped by here also on Sunday and were there were not any customers. Nice lineup (6 -7 girls) and Zmax played Hip hip hurrah (from Wow Wow Wee game show) and the winner got 100p. The girls loved playing and had a great time.
Nasty Duck: Also only on Sunday (4:30 pm) that we stopped by and there were 6 -7 dancers and two customers. Zmax pulled down a cherry girl (He can spot them 100 miles away) and I had a girl. It was not a great time, but it wasn’t a bad time.
Sea Dreams: Stopped by on Sunday (5 pm) and the computer was broke, so no music for a little while. I took the opportunity to play Hip Hip Hurrah with the lineup and we all had a laugh. No customers and the lineup was okay (5-6 girls) and I took a liking to a waitress and I barfined her and a cherry girl (working two day and never bar hopped) that Zmax had brought a drink for a cute waitress. We bar hopped until 2 am Sunday night and by the time the Cherry girl left us, she had really let her guard down and was enjoying herself.
One Eyed Wench: WOW!!! This is my vote for best bar of our trip. Friday night we barfined four girls out of Candy Bar and went next door to Willie Pigs. Great food and his hot wings are awesome!!!! We met Mr. Willie and had some good conversation. Saturday night we went into bar and there was Mr. Willie and Mrs. Pig. This bar has a great lineup and I like the remodeling. It is an awesome place to kick up your heels and have fun. Mr. Willie and I both love country music and they played it and we threw balls and had a great time, Saturday and Sunday night!
Lollipop: We visited here every day of our trip and as always it is a fun place to visit. I had barfined a girl from there last trip and she was happy to see me and jumped into my arms off the stage and my barfine from Candy Bar wasn’t very happy about that. So I told her that I would be back Thursday when she started her shift and get her. I took her and a cherry out Saturday and it is the cherry’s first barfine for the hotel. She ate her first pussy and let my girl eat her. GREAT time. This bar is always pretty busy and always has a good lineup. When I barfined my girl and the cherry girl they went to get dressed and another girl came up to me and just stood in front of me and stared at me. I asked her what was up and she said nothing, I just like you. Long story short, she was in the Doghouse show and ended up sitting with us and asked me to come to looilpop before she got off at 11 pm and barfine her. I did and wow am I happy that I did!
Vortex: We stopped in here Saturday after the Doghouse show and there was three customers. Nice lineup, but the girls didn’t seem very interested in having any fun. Half a beer and gone.
Dirty Duck: I have already posted in the Bitching and complaining forum on my DLD drink scam. We stopped by Thursday, Friday and Saturday and it was packed, no seats open. We got in Sunday, only seats open and was scammed within 5 minutes.
Owl’s Nest: We visited this bar every night and had a great time. So so lineup, but the girls who are there like to have fun. Daddy Dave (hope that is right) come over and introduced himself and told us that he enjoyed our visits because we have the girls laughing and joking.
Rhapsody : I have avoided this bar after Reevescarl and I were scammed here. But Zmax wanted to stop and it was okay. Momma Rose left us alone (great) and Zmax took a spinner out of here and said that she was pretty good. Honestly don’t remember the lineup and the bar was pretty busy.
Bodyshop: We stopped here twice, both times as they opened at 2 pm. Zmax had a girl there from his last trip and wanted to see her. I counted 24 girls on stage at opening. Very nice lineup and COLDEST bar of our trip.
Pussycats: Bar was good and they had 9 or 10 customers and a good line up. We met Daddy Allen and had a god time.
Shark: Okay bar, some customers and okay lineup. Girls didn’t seem interested. Half a beer and out.
Forbidden City: Went in once and no seats open, didn’t return.
Pasha: One of the biggest disappointments of our trip (beside Dirty Duck). Went in Friday night late and had a seat on the bar. Those that know me know that I like to throw balls and sometime I put 500P in 20p notes in the balls and the girls will go crazy. I asked for 500P in 20p notes and the waitress said here is a 1000 in 20P notes. No issues for me, as I like to carry the change. I counted the money and I was 200P short. I guess she thought I was drunk and would not count the money. I called her on it and she was like….WHAT? But she left and came right back with the correct amount. Sorry to late, we were out and the girls were upset at her. She cost them some pesos.
Dr. Homles: Stopped by one visit. 5 customers and okay line up. One waitress was pissed and tried to cock block me because I wouldn’t buy her a drink. One drink and out.
Pony Tails: Stopped one night on way back to ABC. Already had barfines, just having a drink. Not too busy (2 am) okay line up.
Club 68: Small bar and three customers. Okay lineup, but met with the daddy and he said no body shot allowed, so one beer and we left.
Alaska: I ended my trip here (not Zmax as I was leaving at 3 am. We arrived at 1215 am and lasted until 2 am. Bar wasn’t busy, but within 5 minutes of us entering, it was hopping. I haven’t really visited this bar, every time I have been there it was full. Well Sunday night it wasn’t and we had a great time. The girls were in a playful mood and we rocked and I ended my trip on a very high note. Daddy Jerry had Zmax and I judge a “Shake your ass” contest and it was awesome and also it was 2 am and I had to run to the hotel, pack . Thanks jerry for a god ending of my trip.

I may be cheap but that is why I am in angeles. Because in general the prices are good and the girls are great. But doll house and some of these bars are very high price in relation to the other bars. So they have lots of girls and big shows and let you do some photos.

Its been several weeks since I was in Dirty Duck (the fields bar, not to be confused with Nasty Duck the Perimeter road bar), but as I understood the promotion of the bar, buy a DLD and get a blow job in your chair at the stage. The girls out front were even advertising it as we walked by and there were more than a couple of guys getting one when we went in.
Forbidden City and Dirty Duck are owned by the same people. Bought, leased, rented, very confusing how, Dirty Duck about five months prior to the opening of Forbidden City to position girls for the opening. They move the girls, managers, mamasan's etc, between the two bars (now that FC has finally opened).
Forbidden City and Dirty Duck are owned, promoted and supported by Lewis of Lewis Grand Hotel, again very confusing on who owns what in that organization. The businesses thrive to a degree because the guests of Lewis Grand are loaded into stretch limo's and carted down to the company bars. As the hotel is considered one of the high end hotels, the customers are generally spenders and don't care they are paying more. Kind of a captured audience for at least part of the business.

Went back to AC after two year hiatus. I don't get this "Koreans killing the market." I see no such thing. What I see is growth and change. I do agree that some gems can be found on Santo's street.
Did literally all the clubs and found no appreciable difference in the girls. The difference, in my mind, is the attitude of the club management. The one that stuck out was Alaska Club. Jerry seems almost obsessed with making sure everything is perfect for the customer. He is also one of the very few who will buy you and drink and join you to drink it. Saw him at Angel Witch (best music videos in AC) latter in the evening - he bought me and my gal a drink.
Look more toward having a good time with the right attitude than the glitz of the club.

Looking forward to my first trip into Angeles City. I experienced the bars in P Burgos St Makati as well as the bars in Cebu. I have a question in regards to these show girls who perform in Atlantis, Crystal Palace etc. If the girl is performing a dance onstage and you see one that you like, when can you take her back to your hotel? I mean. Do you tell mama that you like that girl who is dancing and after she is done dancing, she comes sit with you and you buy her a LD. Then, later you BF her? She doesn't need to go back on stage and do more dance routines with the other girls?
Also, what's the highest price a girl quoted on a LD and BF? 250-300 pesos drinks and 3000+ BF don't bother us considering we seen how high prices the bars in Makati City can B. Still, those prices don't even compare to the prices in the US.

The procedure is pretty much the same as it is for all the other girls on stage, because the "showgirls" are pretty much just like all the other girls on stage. I do think they are required to do their dances if they have LD's, but not after they are barfined. I'm not sure though, as I tend to avoid pulling from the large bars because they are far too impersonal for my taste--not to mention the pricing controversies and the beaten Swede incident.
I think you might find (as many do) that showgirls are not any better (and can be worse) than many of the other girls on stage or in the bar next door. And after all, that is the comparison--not to Makati, and certainly not to the US.

That was some days before there was a planned hearing on the incident.
Do you have further information now?.
Last I heard is, that he is now back in sweden.

I recall changing my mind somewhat before and after visiting AC. I still hold by my initial comments that, if you go to a third world country, you alone are responsible for your safety, staying out of trouble, and the intelligence to respect local customs whilst knowing your own safe zones.
Having seen the set up, I rather default to my 'travelling among the natives' mentality. Which sadly, works well in PHP still.
You can get a rough idea by some of the comments on handling taxi drivers in the Manila thread, but basically:
In relations with the 'natives', as with treating (unevolved) women, children and domestic pets (no comparison between them intended except for displays of kindness) -
Don't try to be their 'friend.' They don't want or respect your frigging friendship. You are in a superior position of power (in most respects). Get used to it, and act with appropriate dignity. If you want to be their equal, go and live like them for a large number of years (this does not imply you are not equals as human beings - you are - but you hold different positions, and your positions are not equal.)
Earn and maintain their respect at all times. Show no quarter, do not engage in knee-jerk emotional bonding (bonding as a more considered gesture is ok when safe and appropriate).
Kings act with kindness. Do the same. It is better to be loved than feared. Frequently it will get you superior results.
Be as ruthless about your own mistakes as you are about those of others. Demonstrate your impartiality and fairness - and be generous to the faults of others (even if they are 'b*stards, b*tches etc - you are supposed to be more evolved, right??)
However well it seems to be going, never forget the above steps. Never forget your place. Never forget theirs. Never forget your responsibility.
The Swedish guy, from all accounts, who got very badly beaten for peremptorily arguing the toss over the some ladies' drinks, acted like a stupid c*nt. That doesn't mean he deserved what he got, he didn't. Neither does it excuse the people who meted out his 'punishment.' But the most useful thing to remember is that he was (in the incident as reported) a stupid c*nt. Remembering that may help you avoid making the same mistake. Avoiding the mistake is better than finding someone to blame afterwards if you are mutilated, dead, in a coma etc.
I found it automatic to avoiding patronising the establishment concerned, and the subsidiaries it also owns - simply from my own rules of conduct above if you like. You don't show kindness to an ill-trained monkey by feeding it sweeties.
I don't imply any moral duty to agree on this point though. Far better that each person makes their own mind up IMHO.

In most bars, the "show" girls are just ordinary girls that have training every day to do a number of set dance routines. They are no different than any other girl in the bar, in regards to availability. The best looking show girls in the big bars are priced at 3,000 p, but many are also virgins, so ask your questions before you invest a lot. The highest ladies drink I know of (short of ordering champaign) is around 300p at the larger show bars. Vodka Cruisers are often marked up considerably, seen or heard of 380p charges for a ladies drink. My opinion, that is all a waste, buy a single, approx. 150p at most bars on fields, most girls don't care. You want to create some noise and positive attention, start throwing baskets of balls, or table a number of girls buying them repeated single ladies drinks.
The problem though with many of the more expensive BF girls, particularly the show girls, is that they are little princesses. I often find them more trouble than they are worth. And as stated above, before they became "show girls" perhaps even a month earlier, they were the same regular girls you see dancing on the stage. In taking a show girl, you will either be taking a very well worn and used girl, or you will be taking a girl that is so full of herself that the demands placed on you will be like taking your wife.
In answer to your question on committment, often if you are tabled with one of the show dancers, she may excuse herself to return to the stage during her routine. But that is only for a few minutes and she should return to you. Most bars let their show girls go when they get a BF, but some may have restrictions that they can't go until later in the evening. More likely, if you plan on keeping her overnight or more than one day, she may have to excuse herself in the afternoon to go to dance practice. Many bars fine the girls for missing their dance practice, but again she should return to you, if that is your agreement with her.
Hope that provides some guidance, but my opinion in addition is that you are headed to spending a lot of money, for fun that could be had in greater proportion elsewhere. I like Crystal Palace, easily would give Atlantis a miss, but Perimeter road bars and most of the smaller Fields bars are full of former Atlantis, Crystal Palace girls. There is almost nothing special about their girls versus most of the other bars in Angeles. They do have good shows though, and that is worth seeing. In most cases, I don't think Angeles is like other places, where the very high end girls mass in the larger expensive bars. Quality here does not correlate with size or expense of attending a bar. Many if not most of the locals and experienced visitors (even those where money is not the object), tend to BF in the other bars, then take their dates to the larger more expensive bars to watch the shows.

The guy is represented to be the bar owner of the new bar called Sharks on Fields. The Koreans have their own brand of enforcement, and word on the street is that he ran afoul of the local Korean "organization", that it was not a random robbery, rather an execution style slaying. Who knows the truth, but no one local is suggesting this was a tourist crime. I also heard he was dead, not just in serious condition.

Actually I suggest that the reason it keeps rearing its ugly head is because the Dollhouse group did not act decisively to prevent it spreading. They could and should have either robustly proved it bullshit, or alternatively stepped up to the plate and paid the guy's medical expenses etc.
These things get a life of their own and become urban myth almost if they are not put to bed.
While DH group will never close down over something like this, over time, they will lose more $$ because of individuals making the decision not to go there because of some story - and of course their competition will keep the story alive forever if DH Group let them.
My pov is that there are so many bars in AC that any one person doesn't need to go to DH ever and they won't really miss out on much.
Once an urban myth (or truth maybe in this case) starts, nothing anyone can say will make it go away.
I've been in Angeles three nights now. First night I was approached by two girls who wanted to try a threesome which ended in me being half-dead when they left late afternoon next day to go directly to their shift. The first time in the Philippines that I've actually seen girls "interacting" in bed.
Then the last two nights I did something I would've never thought of doing. I just barhopped and spend some money to have fun. Which usually ends in two ways: girls "beating me up", calling me a butterfly and trying their best to get me live out my dreams or girls calling me a cherry boy and trying their best to get me to live out my dreams. Either way, its fine with me. Call me what you want if half the girls comes to me to give it a try. Someone on another forum said, Angeles is very different from other bar areas, and I have to agree. Whereas in Jakarta, Thailand,. It is, in my experience, better to keep the barhopping short and hope for a good night, here I really enjoy it and can't really decided who to take home. And somehow it works with the girls still being great about it when I come back the next day.
Don't care how much of it is having fun and how much is just making money (although I really don't spend that much. Usually drinks for one of the girls and some sweets for the rest). For me, its a lot of fun, and still a lot cheaper then just going for a beer in Singapore.
So tonight I'll have to decide on one of the 20-ish girls I think would really work out for a night of fun.

My pov is that there are so many bars in AC that any one person doesn't need to go to DH ever and they won't really miss out on much.

I am sorry to disagree but if this happened in Detroit, the bar's lawyers would instruct the bar to make no comment, the insurance companies would take over any discussions with the victim, and legal defenses would abound. While I am a local resident and assume you are at least a frequent traveller, given the number of your posts, a newbie reading for the first time visit to PH, might worry that the Angeles strip is one fraught with danger. Right below your response is a post by Lala Bay, which more accurately describes what the guest to Angeles can expect. In regards to DH, I've been in their bars on regular occasions, some of their venues I like, such as Crystal Palace and some I don't care for the Doll House Club, itself. But I've never felt threatened attending any of their bars. Just a week ago, waiting for my friends outside Crystal Palace, had an amusing five minutes cutting up with their door girls and door men. They did not behave like thugs to me.
Then as the post above yours suggests, that this happens all the time in third world countries, I would argue that it happens much less in Angeles than in other red light districts in third world countries. Having lived in China, the stories abound about the street touts who regularly entice unwary travellers to serious rip off joints and engage in physical assault and robbery. I would suggest this happens on a nightly basis in Shanghai, as an example.
To newbie's, none of this suggests you should throw caution to the wind and behave in an unsafe manner. You should not engage with vendors, beggars, freelancers and people of the street. Don't flash cash in public. Don't go anywhere with people you don't know, or travel down dark streets and alleys. Don't become so intoxicated such to not be in control of yourself or your safety. Don't get into conflicts with locals, keep a smile on your face and be polite. If you have concerns about your plans or thinking of doing something outside of the main districts, ask your hotel manager, most can advise you on the safety issue.

Matius is 100% correct. As a frequent traveler into China on business, I would be very wary of which club I enter due to rip-offs.
I am in Angeles now and the area around Fields is safe and I feel pretty secure. I don't frequent the Doll House because they tend to be less honest with the bill but the bars I frequent (HoneyKos, Cambodia, Insomnia and Forbidden City) are pretty accurate in how they charge the customer.
BTW, Angeles is pretty deserted right now and all of the Mamasans have complained that business is pretty bad.

I don't actually think there is a disagreement here in your latest post with what Rob said.
His position as stated is rather that he would not avoid Detroit because one bar bashed a patron, but he would avoid the bar concerned.
His concern with the original Detroit analogy was that it stated that people who were trying to avoid/not recommend Dollhouse, were somehow trying to give the message "don't come to Angeles". That was not what was being said.
The first point being made is that there are plenty of bars in Angeles (so people can still come, right?) and one can still avoid Dollhouse to minimise risk. So no implication about Angeles (or Detroit) as a whole can be drawn because one bar (maybe) screwed up.
The second point being made is that Dollhouse could have acted quickly to kill this by helping the guy concerned and doing some robust investigation and defence of itself. Because it did not do that, the incident is fast becoming urban legend (myth or fact, I do not know).
You expressed some irritation/frustration about the matter coming up again.
That is understandable. However, only Dollhouse can do anything about that, by clearing the matter up. The longer they delay, the longer the legend will simmer, and unfortunately if they do not clear it up very soon, you will have to be putting up with various newb and other postings here about 'the dollhouse bashing of a Swede'....forever. I realize that, and it changes nothing. I still wouldn't go to the bar until the dispute was settled and I found out the "truth". This is another case of us not disagreeing as much as it would seem on the surface. I do agree with the general gist of your post. I'll agree with Rubberyman too.

Fair enough, and think it speaks to the type of experience we want all guests to have. Any bar or establishment in our town that does not act in a responsible way is not respected, a point which perhaps separates Angeles from other red light districts. Locals and frequent guests don't want to see our town become haven for criminals and thugish behaviour. For those who have never visited Angeles, as pointed out numerous times, one can avoid a bar, or even a bar group, but still have an endless supply of bars. I would suggest even the most seasoned traveller or resident has not been in every bar here.
In response to recent posts on the business here. In general all bar owners will state that the tourist season did not happen this year. Probably due to the world economy. I don't want to call any bar popular, but there are a number of bars that through the years have built a steady and loyal customer following, both with locals and returning guests (who by word of mouth probably tell their friends). This means they will appear busy at any particular time, but even these bars will probably cite a fall off in business over previous years. There are also a number of new bars, that through shear wow factor, have curious guests visiting them. Overall in looking at the total strip running from Perimeter to Fields the volume of guests is way off. While the girls are moving from bar to bar in search of more guests, as a business district there is no where for them to go, so this equates to a huge number of girls eager to find customers. While these are not good times for the bars, for the customers its bargain city, girls that would have been gone within a half hour of opening are still on the stage late into the night. Bars that never offerred discounts of any significance are running extended happy hours, special shows and unique promotions. If one's schedule permits, this is an excellent time to visit Angeles.

For no particular reason, I will post my opinion on this issue, even though it happened several months ago.
First, in looking at the source material both on and off this board, there is absolutly no question that dollhouse staff beat up a Swedish guy and put him in a coma. This is a fact.
Obviously, staff don't go around doing this on a regular basis. This is very rare, as it is as lose-lose situation for everyone one involved. Having been to hundreds and hundreds of bars all around the world (mostly in the Philippines, partcularly Angeles), such things never happen if you stay calm. If you are the type that cannot stay calm, then stay out of bars.
If you are in a situation where you are being ripped off, stay calm and work it out. If things absolutely cannot be worked out, just ask for the manager and politely inform him that you would like to call the police (just call 911, like in the USA) and have them help settle the bill. Make it clear that you are happy to pay if the police agree that you owe the amount. 99. 9% of the time, they will tell you that you win, and just leave. Nobody will ever beat you up if you remain calm, and no bar wants to have uniformed police walk in.
Only once was I ever involved in a bar fight, and it was in China. And to be sure I WAS ANYTHING BUT CALM. If I was, I am quite sure that a fight would not have ensued. But I was in a closed VIP room and they refused to call the police. Fortunately, in that situation, the bouncer was far more concerned about hurting a foreigner that I was about hurting him, so even though he twice my size, he was hurt while trying to subdue me.
As far as boycotting Dollhouse, sure, I hate that bar anyway. But I also happen to love Crystal Palace, which has the same owner. Each manager runs their respective bars differently, who can blame the bar anyway if they happend to hire some nut who beats people up. You can be sure he will be fired anyway.
A couple of months ago I was involved in a very bad situation with a girl from a bar. But she no longer works in the bar, and I have had an excellent barfine from a girl from the same bar since then. There are several ways to get revenge on bar if you want to (slashing seats with a small pocket knife is one of my favorite methods, and it also works well with crooked taxi drivers), but with most such methods, for your own safey, you can never return to the bar.

The guy at the door would ask me where I am from because I look like a local Thai. But, I'm Filipino/American. I just tell them I'm from America and they let me in. I also had a few issues in Cebu Philippines. One of the gogo bars did not allow me to BF a girl because I was filipino. I walked in there by myself and I guess they were cautious of me because they thought I was some undercover cop.

Sorry I don't think (hope) anyone will post a SOB party here. You have to go to AC and establish yourself with the bars to get an invite. I was in a bar last Saturday and the manager came over and invited me to a SOB party next Friday. He invited me because he knows me.

All of us have body odor, some more than most . The diet has a huge bearing on odor and if a person was to avoid garlic, curry , onions etc before visit the odor would not be as overpowering. Anyone of any race eating massive number of garlic a day would have a zone of wow around them.

in the asian culture, dark skin is associated with being poor and uneducated, as farmers and field hands have darker skin from their occupation. further, with too much exposure to the sun, some races have their skin age, for example chinese people with too much exposure take on yellow tint to their skin. so i don't think its a race issue, as they are all of the same race, rather it is a perception of social standing and education, from that a perception of beauty.
comments made in regards to the bar's being selective at the door. in angeles, the police have used various foreigners to conduct set ups, including filipino americans. these scum, get a percentage of the take from the set up. koreans, malaysians and australians have been involved in these set ups. malaysians and indians look very similar. anyone that looks filipino may be suspect. advice on entering the bar is not to ask general questions: 1) do you have barfines, 2) how much are barfines, 3) how many girls do you have, 4) questions on sex for pay, 5) do you have a short time room. conduct your negotiations with the girl, using words like how much is it for you to go home with me. once a bar knows you, then all caution will disappear. once you bf, your next visit will be easier. in this regard, ethnic african or caucasion have less caution placed on them. its not simply a race issue, rather an attempt to profile a potential set up.
smell is very important to the girls. my impression of filipina is their bathing habits are more akin to those of american's and australians. they wash frequently and change their clothes frequently. body oder, particularly when suggesting deep throat, is a real turn off to them. same can be said for breath, don't mind smoking or liquor, but should watch what you eat. strongly suggest one invests in deodorant, a good cologne, and if you sweat and smell in the heat, bath frequently.
to the indians, remember english is a second language to the filipina. you guys talk very fast, even a native english speaker (non-indian) has trouble understanding you. slow down, speak in simple words, simple sentences, i've seen girls uncomfortable just because they don't know what is being asked or said. its not just indians, seen the same for brit's and australians that don't have the bbc accent, also some europeans. speak slow and speak simply.
my experience, and could be mistaken, is that when i see indian's they tend to move in packs. upwards of five or six at a time, all sitting together. in many cases the girls are shy about approaching a large number of men, as a mass. if you want to have a good time, table a number of girls, break up your group a little, then the bar will respond to you. throw a basket or two of balls to suggest you are here for a good time, then all will loosen up around you.
angeles has a great number of ethnic visitors of all types. it is not racist in the sense of an american definition. some of the girls have a perception of different nationalities (maybe they had a bad barfine or foreign boyfriend). i've had girls tell me they don't like australians (from some past experience), and let's face it everybody loves aussies. i've had girls say they are afraid of blacks because their d..k is too big, while others jump on them when they enter the door. some girls will only go out with koreans or japanese (and no its not simply a money thing), others prefer americans and australians. it would be niave to say in some cases culture, experience and personal chemistry does not enter into the equation, but in general there are 100 girls available for everyone that you don't make a connection with. just move on.

Usually a foreigner is the bait because unfamiliar pinoys are distrusted when they enter many bars. Some of these foreigners are "forced" into the sting by blackmail from the police - they will let them off fines if they do this stunt for them.

Almost all bargirls have some smell in their pussies. I think it is because of their exercise and sweating. Most of the smell is gone after a shower and in the morning seem to be no smell. I always check before they take a shower.

We visited a while longer and he had to push off to get to work at T.I. so he took the unfinished portion of his Fish Fry Sandwich “To Go” and he was off… 6:15 PM now and still NO GIRLS… Willie Pig your killing me!
What all the time in the bar did offer was a chance to look at the bar itself, as there were no girls to watch NICK! I was really amazed at the transformation. This is a kick ass little bar. Gone is the LONG bar that was against the wall, chopped down and transformed into a nice stage, compete with flashing lights, mirrors, and rope lights. What I REALLY liked a lot was that there is NO “perverts row.” I know the temptation for bar owners are to stuff the bar with eating everywhere, just in case you get busy. I understand the thinking, but I respect the restraint The Pig showed here. Few guys like sitting in “perverts row” usually it is TOO close to the girls especially in a small bar. Also when you have a “perverts row” the stools usually get in the way and you end up kicking and tripping on the stool bases. If a waitress is standing there taking orders the traffic area becomes impassible. Remember this is still a working restaurant and waitresses need to shuttle trays of food back and forth to the kitchen. Smart pig! STILL NO GIRLS… Willie Pig your killing me!
The motif of the interior of Willie Pig’s was red, rich dark reds, in booth fabrics, and dark mahogany wood colors. All this has been repurposed for the bar Willie Pig’s Playpen. The lighting is very good, not too bright, not too dark. The ceiling is black. The massive AC unit put out plenty of BTUs to cool this bar. In the center of the ceiling there is a full circle oscillating fan that moves the existing air around nicely. Also the pen has installed vent fans in the ceilings to move smoke out of the bar – so it’s not so smoggy. The booths lay opposite the stage. Elevated to be at about the height as the stage offers excellent sight lines to the stage, were there ANY GIRLS to look at! Willie Pig your killing me!
The booths are plush and comfortable, with rich dark mahogany wood tables evenly spaced along the length of the bar. Flanking the stage to the left is one booth, solo low on the floor, giving you a side view of the stage. I believe this is the perfect, intimate little nook that you would want to grab if you decide to table a girl or two for lady drinks. Behind the little booth to the left of the stage is the pappasan table. The table seems a little crowded in, but it currently sharing space with the AC unit. Nick tells me he is planning to move the AC unit to the opposite corner, but could not get the contractors there to do it before opening. Once the AC unit is relocated it will open up the space around the papas an table and seat 5-6 guys around the table. The pappasan table itself is pub height and allowing a manager a complete view of the bar, customers, staff and GIRLS… IF THERE WERE ANY… Willie Pig your killing me!
The bar itself now is in the rear by the kitchen door. It takes the entire width of the bar. Looks like Willie Pig has a good system. The service bar is also done in the same dark rich looking wood, like you see in Paradise Beer Garden or One Eyed Wench. The design is thoughtful and laid out well. The right hand side of the service bar is where the bar tender mixes drinks, waitresses give the orders to the bartender, and then on the left side is the Cashier/DJ area where the cashier writes all the slips, not the waitress. This Nick explained means there are less errors and you only have to be on the same page with one persons hand writing and abbreviations… Ingenious. That’s one smart pig! Alas, still no girls on the stage…. Willie Pig your killing me!
Well it’s now about 6:15 and a new drama arises… Apparently during final remodeling Willie Pig had hired a Philippine laborer to do some tile work in the new bar space. He was paid and sent on his way… However, it’s now Friday – 6:15PM and the guy had already blown his week’s worth of wages in a good number of Red Horse Beers and thought that his work was so good he was entitled to return to Willie Pigs and demand more money for his labor. So this dude is blasted out of his mind and comes into the bar first speaking with Nick’s Filipino Manager and then with Mr. & Mrs. Pig. Their position was “Hey, we paid you full wage.. even though your work wasn’t great. And we’re not paying you anymore pesos” This pissed the guy off even more… So now the guy is going ape shit, screaming, drunk, carrying on… Until finally Mrs. Pig calls the police. When the cops arrive the guy is still wound up screaming pounding breaking things. However, cops say he’s not going to be arrested. Give him a few hundred pesos and he’ll go away quietly… Love criminal justice system here in the Philippines. I think Nick ended up giving him a few hundred peso and all ends well… However, still NO GIRLS on the stage… Willie Pig your killing me!
I’m going to Splash.. I know they have some girls. I go and visit with Daddy Graham and have a few beers. Side note Splash girl in black lingerie and T-Backs… I likey! Graham and I sit and gossip like a couple of old hens for forty five minutes or so then I tell him I’m giving The Pig one more chance! Anyone who knows Nick knows he is his own worst enemy, usually disheveled, always unorganized so when he says he’s having a go-go bar and hiring dancers you immediately think Jollibee’s and older gals with kids, stretch marks and all that baggage. I mean the place is called Willie Pig’s Playpen… Jokes already flying around the boards that the girls will all be pigs, yada, yada, yada… But, what we all forget is Nick is a GREAT judge of talent… After all look at Alma (Mrs. Pig) as I’m often caught doing! Alma is gorgeous, that is one HOT Filipina Nick married. So give the Pig his due. He can evaluate talent and it’s as if he has done well! Some of these girls are hot! With more arriving throughout the weekend and after election day Monday… I must return to this place as the new girls arrive over the next few days.
Ok let’s talk about things that are important when talking about a Perimeter Road bar… PRICING. Willie Pig’s Playpen is without a doubt one of the least expensive places in Angeles City to drink. If you are “outside” the Playpen, drinking in the fan cooled Nipa hut “outside” or in the restaurant local drinks are ONLY 35 peso, that’s for a SML, Coors Light, Rum Coke or Vodka Cranberry… Only 35 Peso! Now if you are “inside” Willie Pig’s Playpen the drink are 50 Peso for Local Drinks. The deal of century is Willie Pig’s Playpen Lady Drinks are 95 Peso all day, all night, everyday. Willie Pig’s Playpen hours currently are 3:00 PM until 12:00 Midnight. Nick say once he has two shifts of girls the hours will change to 12:00 PM until 12:00 midnight. Now best of all… the tradition Early Work Release, which here is referred to as a “Side Of Bacon” (Classic) is only 999 peso (I wonder how many guys will want the 1 peso coin back for their change purse?) How can he do it? How can his prices be so cheap??? It really simple… Willie Pig’s was a restaurant first. He has established a good restaurant business here over the years. That business covers his nut, rent, electric, supporting he and his family… The Playpen bar unlike other Perimeter road bars doesn’t have to rely on revenue from a bar only operation to pay all the bills. Any money he makes in the bar operation is incremental profit for him. Again, that’s one smart pig!
Speaking of the restaurant this is what put Willie Pig on the map -- Good food, good menu, good variety, good quality, excellent prices, great value for your money. Another benefit of Willie Pig’s Playpen is that great Willie Pig Finger Food is being served each afternoon as FREE “Happy Hour” Finger Food. Willie Pig’s Playpen, doesn’t offer a traditional “Happy Hour” discounted prices because it’s “Happy Hour” prices all the time! Finally, I have arrived in AC on May 12. My flight on AirAsia landed at Clarks around noon. The hotel car picked me up and I checked into Brass Knob (BK) about 15 minutes later. Had a quick shower and decided to take an afternoon walk to Fields Ave.
My report:
May 12:
Walked down to Fields Ave and decided to visit A. Santos to take the edge off. Dropped into Black Pearl and engaged the services of Lea (20yo/5'/solid body). BBBJ turned into FJ (covered) and I had a nice session with her. Paid 700p (as agreed with her) and off I went to get some late lunch at McDonald.

I frequent AC but usually stay in Cebu on my days off. My question is - does anyone know of a good hotel and bar that is crutches accesable?? I usually stay at 2 or 3 of the same hotels and they are not. Also trying to remember back, as I nevere had to worry about it, most of the bars aren't crutch accessable either.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or been with someone who has. I can absolutely not put any pressure on my one foot. I appreciate any advice... A monger has to keep mongering even with a broken limb... And I don't want to call one of the regular girls to help out because then I will be stuck...

Room is as expected for the price you pay. At least they have a large jacuzzi located on the rooftop which is nice to bring girls for a night deep.
Location to me is good as I am about 15 minutes (slow walk) from Fields Ave. Also around the hotel you have Stampede, Brass Knob, Eruption, Dr Holms, Gentlemen's Club and several others within 200m of the hotel.
I am off for another round with the girls of the evening.

The big ones like Atlantis, Dollhouse, Crystal Palace, but I had my best time in the small ones like La Bamba, Gockoes and many more. Remember. Angeles its not Phuket or even Pattaya. Its only for mongering. However Boracay, Panglao Island are perfect places to relax. Not as touristic like Thailand.
Try the food at Bunny's hamburger.
As to the general remarks.
I definitely like philipiinas better than thais. Maybe on averaage thais are better looking while many philipiinas tend to be more fat. But if it comes to the cute ones. It was as easy to find them in Philippines as in Thailand.
Girls in philipiines can't compare to Thai. Almost all of them speak good english and I had a lot of fun with them. They are just different. In my opinion they are more inteligent, understand our culture better. (well a lot of them new what Poland is I never met a Thai who new). I trully enjoyed chatting with the girls at the bars. And after. Spending my time with them in the room or by the pool. True GF experience and they really seam to enjoy it. Just be nice for them. One more remark which is very important. Everywhere I walked. Not only in AC but in Philipiines in general I got a lot of smiles/attention from the local girls. They are really interested with foreign guys which is not happening in Thailand. (almost only working/bar girls like foreigners). If I stayed longer in Philipiines I could easly find a real GF for me. It's amazing. They are really great girls with good hearts.

Book ASAP with CP as they are a popular hotel.
Central Parks sister hotel Pacific Beach also has ground floor rooms with easy accessibility to the building.

The conditions of the streets in AC are somewhat treacherous for someone on crutches especially at night when they're harder to see. Be careful.

What I like most about Filipinas is that they understand the monger's desire to "experience other girls". Filipinas tend to be less "clingy". I have had more girls in the Philippines agree to/ recommend threesomes; whereas the Thai girl would only do this if you insisted. My recent Filipina GF would routinely ask me if I wanted her roommate (a sexy little thing) join us in the evenings and of course I had to say yes
But (present problems aside), Thailand is a much safer destination than the Phils. You are constantly looking over your shoulder in the Philippines whereas I have always felt safe in Thailand. Thailand is also more convenient than the Philippines (better food, more taxis available, more venues to go visit, better food, better daytime activities).
Lastly, Thailand is slowly pricing themselves to the point that it is no longer a value to go there. For example, I used to take a hotel limo to go to/from the airport 10 years ago, that limo cost was about $30. Today, that same ride is $120 which has caused me to take the local taxis. I have found that the Phils is still a great value (cost wise) for accommodations, for drinks and for ladies.

(This may not help the guy on crutches though . . . .)Renting a motobike might be cheap, but it comes with a lot of risks. I know 3 of my friends who have been ran off the rode by Trike drivers. All 3 were hospitalized, and in 1 case since my friend was knocked unconscious and couldn't dispute the trike drivers claim. He had to pay to fix the trike.
Secondly when the trike drivers don't hit you, the corrupt police pull you over for trumped up violations, of which you either pay their bribe fee or try you luck in court.
I would say, either pay a trike or take a jeepney, its only 7 pesos. And most don't know it, but if you have a group (2 or 3 together) you can tell the jeepney driver you will pay for the whole jeepney which will come to like 100 to 150 pesos and you won't have to worry about any other passengers. My friends and I, have done this on plenty occasions.

I find that filipinas are much more clingy than Thais. Thais are more about money. Pull the money out of the equation and they go away. The opposite is true for me in PI. The only way to get rid of them is to throw money at them.

The whole time I was there I normally have a deep at around 6pm and the water was great.
I have left AC today and will post the rest of my report.

Couple of my country men are always staying there. Rooms are modest but ok. I tried with my hand that jacuzzi water and at that time water was cold. Maybe they just had changed it?

May 14...
It was a hot day. Went to SM Mall and had my lunch at the foodcourt. I had some Pinoy food and something must not have been fresh. I had food poisoning about half-hour later. Had bought a ticket to see "Robin Hood" but that plan had to be abandon. Quickly took a trike back to the hotel (70p) and had several rounds of purging. Took a couple of charcoal tablets and decided to go to sleep. Woke up at around 6pm and went downstairs to order some room service.
Met Mamasan of BK and she asked what happened to me. Told her I had some food poisoning. She asked me to go back to the room and she will prepare some light food for me. After about 45 minutes, a knock at my door and standing there was Michelle whom I have bar-fined yesterday with a hot bowl of chicken soup.
She was fussing all over me to make sure that I am comfortable. Then she said she will stay with me tonight to take care of me. I told her it was okay as I knew Friday night was normally peak time for them and if she stayed with me she will lose LD money or even another bar-fine. She insisted and so I told her to bring 1000p down to Mamasan as her EWR for the night.
She took care of me for the night as I developed a slight fever. I felt much better in the morning and she left me around 10am.
May 15....
I felt better and decided to go back to see my "Robin Hood". After the movie had lunch at ChowKing. Left SM Mall and decided to go back to BK to bar-fine Michelle for the night. When I reached there, mamasan was so happy to see that I am well. Told her I want to bar-fine Michelle. When I was about to pay for her EWR, mamasan declined my money saying I had already paid yesterday but no "boom-boom" I was taken aback by this as I have never experience a mamasan declining money and have a pre-paid system. I was very impressed.
Michelle was happy to see me and after she changed to jeans and blouse, we went back to my room. Had one round and later went back to SM Mall for dinner. Dropped back to BK bar for some drinks (at customer's price for Michelle) and later went back to the room to two rounds of great love-making. She was definitely more passionate the second night with me.
May 16.....
Had another round this morning and she left me at 10am when I checked out for my flight at Clarks. I gave her 500p as tips for taking care of me for which she went beyond her call of duty.
Another holiday comes to an end but definitely not the last time I am in AC....and as General MacArthur once said......"I will return....."

I find that filipinas are much more clingy than Thais. Thais are more about money. Pull the money out of the equation and they go away. The opposite is true for me in PI. The only way to get rid of them is to throw money at them.Its easy to get rid of a Filipina (or a Thai). Stop going to her bar! It works very well and there are so many bars out there that finding another place to practice the hobby is easy!
But the Thai's use the term "butterfly" in a very negative way whereas I have found that the Filipina doesn't have this term. I usually tell the Thai girls that if there weren't any butterfly s, they would have no business. They usually give me a strange look but they get the message.

You can always hire a car also if from hotel and you don't want to take a bus. Do a search on taxi, bus, or car maybe. The same services are available to someone in a hotel also.

Your hotel can provide pickup at the airport. A driver will meet you there and take you all the way to your hotel in AC. Cost is about $60.
Alternative: Taxi to Swagman hotel, pick up the air con bus (Fly the bus). $10.

I have known alot of "higher class" Thai girls that are kept by Korean or Japanese men. These stunners frequently have multiple guys giving them 100-200,000 Bht/month along with cars/ apartments. Those girls know that these are short time relationships (1-2 years) that end when these guys get tired of them. Most of these Thai ladies couldn't care less about the guy. Just their money.
In the case of Filipinas, they tend to want a guy to care about them with or without the financial arrangements.
Therefore, it is critical that you spell out the relationship you want with the Filipina. I tell them that I am not interested in marriage nor will I send money back to them every month. But I am generous with them while I am in town and the relationship usually is very good.

You can fly from Cebu or other cities. Manila? I don't know.
Search for Swagman and/ or FLY THE BUS for a 600 bus trip from Swagman Hotel near the Ermita Church.
Regular bus is cheapest, but only for the true budget traveler or adventurer.
Taxi is probably best value for money. I would think it costs less than 2000, but others should share information about prices.

The conditions of the streets in AC are somewhat treacherous for someone on crutches especially at night when they're harder to see. Be careful.
I know, thats what I'm worried about. I have been there so many times and never paid attention. I'm more worried about all the stairs and steps getting into and out of the bars. ANd I worry about my friends getting me drunk and me having issues on the crutches. Doesn't matter if I have a fili taking care of me or not, she won't stop me from falling down, haha. But I will WIN!

I have heard the word butterfly over and over in the phils while the term I get in Thailand is "helicopter".. But I have found the Thai's don't care so much as long as your not engaging in a relationship or tell them such.
But in the Phils, even if you tell them its just a night and no relationship, some get pissed when you bf out of the same establishment. The only good thing is if you took care of her and mamason, it's all about the money. She will glare at you but won't put up a fuss because mama will come down hard on her for possibly scaring you away. But I have had many instances where absolutely no problem and even getting a previous bf to get me a different girl. One just never knows...

She can easily separate the sex and money side of it from the "relationship" side because for her there is only one side.
Many (not all) filipinas will do anything to get out of their barangay, city, country and so they see any visiting foreigner as a potential ticket out. Hence they balance up their need to get a monetary reward with the possibility that if they are extra nice to you then you might fall for them and snap them up. They all have this fantasy of finding Mr Right because they ALL know of at least one or more girls that have hit the jackpot.
GEOMANIA Apartelle, just had a dreadful experience there. Dreadful.

The price is per car (not per passenger). So if you are traveling with a wingman (or 3), the shared cost for the trip is reasonable

Yes, I was with a local girl that brought me to that club. WHen I was there it was a two song set. First set clothed, second set completely naked. The girls were definitely 7 -9's. The local girl kept wanting me to take one up to one of the VIP rooms, but was in the mood to just relax. She said anything goes in the VIP room.. It's a good sense also of what the locals think is hot. Curves, on the white side, and a nice size rack..
I was the only westener in there too and felt very comfortable..

many years ago i took this hottie from Lancealot bar to subic bay, (the beach closest to angeles) anyway is was awesome gfe , 3 days beach swimming video, bars.
but when we started to return on the bus back she turned cold and distant. then at the bar , club, she did not like me and gave me the cold shoulder, when i treated her to a good!!!!!! time!! loving, money, positive vibs!!!!etc.

Called slam dunk, its not for westerners and it is owned by "connected" Filipino. You were the only westerner in there for a reason. If you know someone you can get in, but they cater to the local Filipino. Those clubs are all over particularly in Manila, but they are always owned by connected Filipino. Slam Dunk is not too expensive, but really expensive in Manila, if you can get in. Sure your girl took care of you, but you've strayed a bit far from the beaten path, even though it is not that far from Fields.

Arriving in early oct (saigon. Manilla) on cebu pacific (lands at 0200 or so).
1. Any probs w/- cebu cancelling flights or is that a thing of the past?
2. Any probs gettin to AC at that hour of the morning? I want to do the trip as cheap as possible. Firstly cause I'm a cheap charlie. Secondly cause its often more fun this way, collecting life experiences & ancedotes. I have the $ to hop into a cab/limo, but that, to me, is cheating.

It really doesn't make any difference which bus line you use as they are mostly all air conditioned, and reasonably comfortable and take around 2 hours. So, when you arrive at Pasay just walk into the terminal and ask anyone where is the next bus to Dau (AC). You almost never have to wait

3- There will be multiple stops within Manila but after you get outside of town and onto the North Luzon Expressway, then it is only another 45+ minutes. 4- When you arrive in Dau just get a trike and they will take you directly to your hotel. Depending upon which hotel you shouldn't pay any more than 100-150 php (US$3). Guys, it really doesn't get any easier than this and it is quite safe and pretty comfortable.

I really only want to spend 450. 600 p/nite. Hopefully for a fan room w/- bathroom & cable tv. I hate a/cond. Don't need hot water. Don't need pool. I do need an honest security box/locker setup.
Am I dreaming/deluded? Or is this doable? Will I have to up the ante to 7/800 p/nite?
A friend mentioned he had money go missing from the security box at his hotel. Anyone have any bad experiences at any of the above places?
Does AC have a healthy DIA/mall/street pickup scene like cebu apparently has? Or are the bars my only viable option (not really a bar fan, prefer drinking at 7/11's).
I've visited Pattaya many times, but AC has been highly recommended.
I'll never know unless I go, I guess.

This part is correct for the cheap charlie. Taxi from airport to bus station. Catch aircon bus to Dau. From Dau catch tryke to your hotel.
