Airport: I arrived just after 12 on Friday night. It seems there are 4 flights coming in between 11:30 and 12, but there are only 6 immigration desks. There is a scrum leading to some marked out lanes, no guidance on where to go. It took about an hour and a half to get through, pushing like an Asian. Clark airport is terrible, if at all possible I recommend booking a flight which lands at a time where there are no other flights on an hour either side. For more on the airport check day 5.
Hotel: Royal Amsterdam Hotel. Located on Fields. Girl friendly. A range of rooms from basic, to jacuzzi, to penthouse. I took a deluxe room at just over 2000 pesos. King size bed. Spacious. Right in the heart of the action.
I'd booked transport from the hotel (350 pesos) and arrived just after 2. Took a beer from the mini bar and thought about whether to just sleep, or whether to head into the action. On one hand, I hit the airport after work and was tired. On the other, I only had 5 days.

One of the things I did do right on my recent trip to AC was to pickup a copy of the "Angeles City Guide", a handy little guide of AC that had a nice sized map of the bars in AC. You can pick one up for free at the Tourist Information Center at the corner of Fields and Raymond st. The guide came in pretty handy, espcially since I was concurrently following Sir Lancelot's OUTSTANDING field report from AC last month. Thanks again Sir.
For folks who have never been is to AC. Imagine that for purposes of our hobby, there is one main area of AC, and that is primarily a 3/4 mile strip of Go-Go bars called Fields Ave. If you decide to visit AC, understand that you will probably be spending a good chunk of your day walking up and down said strip of Fields Ave or in a bar on Fields Ave, or in a hotel within 100 feet of Fields Ave. It IS the red light district. Catering to foreigners.
AC doesn't seem to be built up around the bars. AC overall seems to be a by-product of the US military presense in times past. The big Mall that you would likely visit is in a small corner of the former base, and the AC airport IS the former Clark Airbase. Take a look at it on Google Maps and it really puts things in perspective. It is way, way oversized for AC. It was built to land the largest mililtary aircraft in the world.
I have a raggedy, folded-up, beat up copy of the "Angeles City Guide". It isn't really fit to scan and post. If you have a clean copy and a scanner, it would be really cool if you could post a montage. Who'se going to AC next? Concarne? Anyone?

I've taken this flight many times and from experience I'd say it's worth booking a room from the previous night so you can crash as soon as you arrive at your hotel rather than have to wait until a room becomes available at the normal check in time of noon. It can be a painfully long wait. I've never had a hotel allow me to check in that early but I have had hotels waive the fee for my first night (5am til noon) but only after I've booked it and been prepared to pay for it first. Go figure.

If you arrive that early most hotel will charge you for half day rate, I arrive after midnight a few days ago all taxi guy want 500 p and up even the van want 400-500 and I just walk away no money charge is open but there are air con shuttle 50 peso and I just give him 1 USD and he take it drop me off at check point but not sure it will be avalible at 4am.

When you fill in your arrival card there is a section which specifically asks you if you are bringing more than 10, 000 pesos into the country. I guess it is a gamble if you bring in more than this and not declare it. I did on my first trip 3 years ago and did not declare it. Not sure what the penalties are for infringement.

A note about the airport.
I arrive fairly early. There's an x ray machine at the door, and a quirk is they won't let you take any lighters inside.
As I check in, the power goes and the terminal goes dark for a few seconds before the generator kicks in. The problem is this reboots the computers at the check in desk. And again, a couple of minutes later, when the power kicks on and the generator off the same thing happens. It took me 25 minutes to check in (from the front of the queue). I recommend allowing plenty of time when you go to the airport.
There is a departure tax of 600 pesos.
The next stage of security wouldn't let me take an umbrella in my hand baggage. It had to be put in a box and sent in the hold. It's probably still forlornly circling the baggage claim conveyor belt as we speak!
The duty free shop is small and terrible. There's a couple of food stalls. Upstairs there is a VIP lounge for 700 pesos and a smoking lounge for around 400. I recommend these. Comfortable chairs and drinks available. The lighter ban means the smoking room has 1 lighter, tied to the front desk on a piece of string. I wish I was making this up.
Final thoughts: Loved the filipinas, hated the bars. If I go back, I will probably go somewhere more scenic and try to meet the local working girls through dating sites.

I have seen it in few countries that don't have a floating currency (I think peso is kind of aligned to the USD) , I think they don't want too much Peso out of phils.
Cebu Pacific from BKK gets in around 4am.
I've taken this flight many times and from experience I'd say it's worth booking a room from the previous night so you can crash as soon as you arrive at your hotel rather than have to wait until a room becomes available at the normal check in time of noon. It can be a painfully long wait. I've never had a hotel allow me to check in that early but I have had hotels waive the fee for my first night (5am til noon) but only after I've booked it and been prepared to pay for it first. Go figure.At times like that you book ABC and hope its not a full house. Have done it many times, they send the car and I am usually in bed with a girl by 5 am. No extras charged

Over 10. 000 US Dollars (and there's no specified amount of kangaroo money BTW, they are converted to USD just like all other currencies, with the notable exception of PHP) you should declare it. Now, that means it may not be very wise to bring in over 10. 000 US Dollars, or its equivalent in other currrencies. But still perfectly legal.

Boarded the flight with about P30k and was sitting in my seat (33B) when I read the immigration forms. Bugger. I put P10k into my back pack, P5k into a trouser pocket, P5k into a jacket in my bag and left P10k in my wallet. I was prepared to plead an honest mistake lost track of my money. In the end, I just picked the fastest agent whom was processing the slips departing the baggage collection area. Didn't even get a question.
From then though, never take more than the maximum Peso and certainly don't even have USD10K to my name.
This sort of information should really be in a sticky thread of essential items for visiting punters.

I just got back from Angeles a couple weeks ago and wanted to write a report about the girls I was with whom I met on DIA. 1) The problem with "runners" is that they will start lying right from the start. Its been a LT scam for the last few years now. Ask stay until next day 9-10am and always with a smile say Yes, no problem. After 1 quick round in the hotel room and every excuse that can be thought of will start flying.
2) Always a good idea to keep your wits about you at all times in AC. Always use a trike that provides door to hotel service if get too tippsy.
3) Never had a problem before getting into the terminal with either lighter or matches. Can't bring it on carryon to plane though and only in the checked bag.
4) Didn't they lower the departure tax?
5) Carryon Umbrellas were outlawed on all flights for several years now since some clown tried to sneak a disguised knife inside one

From MNL, the total terminal fee is 550 pesos for international flights.

Never never! Report currency. (I have never never been asked) I have been visiting the Philippines over the past 25 years and never had a problem with any currency be it pesos or hk dollars, RMB (China) or us dollars.
Others may do it differently but I bring, in most cases, $1000 USD = one hundred dollar notes glued to my chest (joke). I also have american express card and atm card hidden up my butt (kind of a joke). Also good idea to have photo copy of your passport I'd page. Anyway. Put the money passport and atm card in the hotel safety deposit and just carry the cash you need. Even my drivers license is left in the hotel.
Don't wear a watch over $20 bucks. No expensive rings or necklaces.
To save time and money. Find one good hotel in your arriving / departing city. I have done this in malate. So I leave my suitcase in storage and just take a carry on when I head for cebu or where ever = cebu pacific gives airfare discount if only have carry on. Sometimes I plan to go to Thailand / China and not need to carry everything in Philippines.
almost all countries have some form of currency regulations. many like the usa allow you to take as much as you want but if it is more than $10k (in usa) then you have to declare. these countries just want to keep tabs on money going in and out of the country. the penalty is very severe, not just the confirep001ion of the money. there may be a big fine and even prison time. in any event, in the age of computers, you will be blacklisted for ever, so every time you enter or leave the country, you will be searched. a friend of mine has this problem with canada. by the way, travelers checks are currency.
so, bottom line, it's not worth it. use atms. that's what they are for.

almost all countries have some form of currency regulations. many like the usa allow you to take as much as you want but if it is more than $10k (in usa) then you have to declare. these countries just want to keep tabs on money going in and out of the country. the penalty is very severe, not just the confirep001ion of the money. there may be a big fine and even prison time. in any event, in the age of computers, you will be blacklisted for ever, so every time you enter or leave the country, you will be searched. a friend of mine has this problem with canada. by the way, travelers checks are currency.
so, bottom line, it's not worth it. use atms. that's what they are for.or simply declare the currency on the custom's declaration form. there is nothing wrong with bringing in $10, 000 into the usa as long as you declare it. and it would be a good idea to have a valid reason for carrying such a large amount of cash to provide to the custom's officer if he asks.

1, hard to find cheap ticket on them dates so you are lucky with that. Women about 2K peso each, so ask yourslef your taste and desirer. Also eating is your style. There are many jap type eaterys but are a little more expensive.
I have not stayed at any of the hotels you asked about. I did stay at Doll house accross the street from Dollhouse bar. But I would say Pacific breeze would be a good choice. You can ta2ke taxi from airport. Or for about 500 peso go to Swagman and take the buss. Trip is 1. 5 hours to 3 hours depending on traffic.
If you like Ocean, think about going to subic for a day. 1 hour drive from A / C, on ocean, good beaches. Many bars in Barrio. So you can find onsite or. If you take swagman buss you will beable to ask many forigners on buss lots of questions.
With dates you have many girls will be going home for Christmas. So you will meet more local girls looking for money for kids at Christmas. Do not if good or bad, yet I am sure you will have fun. You might want to go to perimater road hotel for 3 days and see differnece in area. This is 3 Km down road so you could walk to area in 1/2 hour and see whole strip. Many think there is different flavor from one end of street to other. RP is a very catholic country and there will be many things about Christmas going on. There is a big mall called SM in city. I would go there for tooth paste, razor, cell phone with sim card, and get personal stuff there. But take your own condoms if you like them. You will enjoy. Wonder the city during the day. SurferIt all depends on how much money you want to spend and how comfortable you want to be. I actually enjoy staying at ABC although their prices are high compared to the field. If you stay at ABC, you can also arrange a pickup from the airport that'll take you to AC in about 2 hours depending on traffic.
I also enjoy staying at different hotels on my trip along with a few nights in Manilla.
Also, food is rather cheap in the Philippines unless you plan on eating at higher end restaurants or at the hotels. Cash wise, bring as much as you want! The more you have, the better! I like to grab multiple girls through out the day, buy a lot of drinks, etc. Everyone is different, so it depends on you. It's too hard for me to tell you to budget your money when I don't even know what you want and how many times, etc. Just bring a lot, let loose and enjoy your vacation!

Surfer#1. Pacific Breeze is the least expensive of your choices and in the best location. I would also say the best for a 1st timer due to its location. In walking distance of Fields walking street bars and restaurants. ABC is the most expensive hotel in AC, classy, with a bordello theme. Its about 8 to 10 blocks from the action. Lewis Grand is a nice hotel priced between the two. Is the furthest away. A nice walk during the day. Wouldn't recommend it at night.
#2. Depending on how much of a drinker you are. $100 to $150 a day to be on the safe side and have to worry about a budget.
#3. For a 1st timer. I would have a driver pick me up. Every hotel has has a service. If you don't want to use the hotel service. Look up Margarita Station. And they offer a driver service. It will be $60 each way. And about a 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to AC from Manila.
Sure there are cheaper ways. Bus services. But you have to take a taxi to the shuttle or bus. Then a trike from the bus station to the hotel.
After flying 12 hrs. And going thru immigration. You will be happy to be able just flop into a car and have the driver take over. Its worth the money for a 1st timer.
#4. The girls are supplied by the bars. So the bars advertise the parties as well. So it would be hard to miss that one is going on.

1. Also consider Wild Orchid. Great pool and bar arrangement and close to all of the clubs.
2. Figure about $200 per day if you take 2 girls a day. $50 for a hotel. $50 per girl. And $100 for food and drinks.
3. Answered in earlier texts. I took Swagman and it worked great. They run a good operation.
4. Not sure about pool parties. Both ABC and Wild Orchid have great pools. Though it is cheaper at Wild Orchid and closer to the action.

Thanks.I've made "google" eyes at a few girls walking in the streets, but the only SW's that I've seen in AC, I am pretty sure they have altered genders or are heading in that direction. It is not necessary to actually enter many of the BJ bars, you can stand on the sidewalk, pick the gal you like and make the transaction very quickly and leave. If the alcohol is what bothers you, then I will tell you that I mostly drink soda or water, and no one cares. Not much of a SW scene in AC because it is not needed, the other venues are aavailable for the girls and guys to meet easily.
There are SW's in Bangkok, and Pattaya, but I still think the Phils scene is better.

It's not quite Walking Street in Pattaya but there is lots of action to be found. I love the bars but one night I was so taken by a very pretty freelancer, I took her. Her name was Jennifer and she specialised in blowjob alarm calls. However, there could be a very good reason why these girls don't work in the bars (I. E their age or they've failed the regular health-check) , so be careful.
Bear in mind that walking up and down this road are girls going to and from their bars as well as promo girls from other bars handing out flyers (bars always use some of their prettiest girls for this). Never never! Report currency. (I have never never been asked) I have been visiting the Philippines over the past 25 years and never had a problem with any currency be it pesos or hk dollars, RMB (China) or us dollars.
Others may do it differently but I bring, in most cases, $1000 USD = one hundred dollar notes glued to my chest (joke). I also have american express card and atm card hidden up my butt (kind of a joke). Also good idea to have photo copy of your passport I'd page. Anyway. Put the money passport and atm card in the hotel safety deposit and just carry the cash you need. Even my drivers license is left in the hotel.
Don't wear a watch over $20 bucks. No expensive rings or necklaces.
To save time and money. Find one good hotel in your arriving / departing city. I have done this in malate. So I leave my suitcase in storage and just take a carry on when I head for cebu or where ever = cebu pacific gives airfare discount if only have carry on. Sometimes I plan to go to Thailand / China and not need to carry everything in Philippines.CURRENCY REGULATIONS.

I rarely stay long enough in any one bar to finish a drink. One of my general rules is that if I'm in a bar more than 20 minutes, I'm doing something wrong. This would be in direct contrast to some gents who live for putting a honey on his lap, buying her drinks for an hour, then switching honies and starting again. Having said that, I think your best bet is to stay in the area of Swiss Chalet / Kokomo's. The reason is that its one block away from both Santos and Raymond streets. Both of those places have tiny BJ bars where you need not buy a drink, you can simply see the girls from the street and make chatter by walking up to the door and talking. You can enter and sit and not buy a drink, just tell them you are looking for an on-site quickie (no kidding, I've seen regulars walk into those bars, grab a girl by the hand, pay the p700, walk in the back with her, and walk back out 5 or 6 minutes later. It can be that quick). Try WOW bar on Santos (so small, only one chair for customer; obviously they don't want you to sit and chat all night). Tell the mama exactly what you want. For $85 a day you can comfortably live in a medium budget hotel with pool (1400 pesos) , take two girls ST (700 pesos each) which leaves you 700 pesos for food and drink which is adequate unless you want to party, party (though some chronic cases will disagree).
Of course some members here will roll their eyes at this Cheap Charlie approach but can they prove that the guy spending $200 a day is having a better time than the guy spending $85 a day? Probably not. Also, some people would prefer to double or treble the length of their vacation for the same budget and have cash left over to explore other destinations and cities where costs are higher. Obviously if you're wealthy and money is no objective then these rules do not apply. In fact why stop at $200 a day unless you are a wealthy Cheap Charlie?
Best tips for saving a bit of cash.
1. Negotiate a reduced monthly rate with your hotel if possible.
2. Try eating at the Filipino-style 'open kitchens' where the locals eat. The food is generally very good, super cheap and probably won't poison you. A few days of eating like this and you can comfortably splurge on a steak at the Wild Orchid and remain within your budget.

First night barfined a girl from tropics. Barfine is 1800 pesos. Nice girl from mindanao. But hint of smell in the pussy all my barfined girls had littl smell not like no smell DIA girls I am used to. Had to cover up for safety although none requested and two girls thought I Was crazy to use condoms. They insisted they are clean.

I took Cebu Pacific from Cebu to Angeles in March and we were rolling more than 10 minutes early. Before the scheduled departure time we were already in the air. The other 3 flights that I took inside of PI during that time were very late. Two of them were over an hour late and luckily the third was over 30 minutes late because I was connecting and had to take the bus from one terminal to another in Manila and that took about an hour.

Sure, by cutting corners a person could get it under $100, but without knowing the ropes, that's fairly difficult. In general, count on spending $100 for hotel, food, shopping, transportation, sightseeing, etc / day and $100 for partying at night.

No. I just meet them on the street while I am doing other things and like what I see. The girl prefer this way because they end up getting a bigger amount of money. I've had some good experiences with this kind of thing as well. I guess in the bar, you have the meat market atmosphere. But if you make the effort to chat up a gal you find during the day out and about, somehow this creates a different atmosphere. There are quite a lot of off duty bar gals walking around during the day and also some that are on "permanent" bar fine. Of course there are also a lot of regular women who live in the area, so you do want to use common sense. On the other hand, I've had relatively poor results with DIA in Pampanga / Subic.

I guess I should explain what I do just in case anyone thinks it is a good idea and would also like to try it. For me I usually go to AC for 20 days so I have time. I always stay at Clarkton so I like the bars right there for my 1st GFE pick up. Mirrors, LIA, Roadies, or After school I get a girl for 3 or 4 days I like. I then take this girl barhopping with me down to fields. IF you noticed Fields bars are sectioned into 3 sections. SEC 1 is the Block between Mos place Santos st and MacArthur. This block includes Blue Nile, Golden Nile, Club Asia, and the bars inside the Fields Plaza complex (Love and music ect ect) SEC 2 is the Block between Santos and Raymond st and this block includes bars Atlantis, Dollhouse Owls nest, La Bamba, Rhapsody, ziggys lollypop geckos. Then sec 3 is the block from Raymond to where fields turns into Perimeter This is where Angelwitch Butterfly Rock, Barhoppin, Checkers, coyote ugly Camelot honeypot and bunny ranch are. I hit each sec with my GFE each of the next 3 nights This allows me to sit with her and just check out all the girls that work in each of the bars saves me girlie drinks cause she gets hers at reg price. I also can have her help me pick out some of the hot ones I then can see over a 1000 girls in those 3 nights and I simply note about 10 or so I like to revisit. Note Girl number and bar she works in. ON day 4 I let the 1st girl go and I then go to each place noted and find those I liked before and BF them 1 or 2 nights each till I get almost all the girls I wanted. The only problem with this is Most trips I don; t get to a few of the ones I liked and it always bugs me when I get home. Best lunch deal in town is pizza hut lunch at SM Clark small pizza with soup and drink for only 99 peso only weekdays, it this price I can take a bunch of girl with me 50 girl that is still under 100 USD, the food in AC is the worst in asia by far, I am in Hong kong now after a week in PI 100 USD on food is easy here and this is the best food city in Asia.

My posts are never aimed at a specific person or target, so why are you tripping? All I'm talking about is people in general who try to get by on the bare minimum. All I'm doing is giving a little helpful advice to them about saving a little bit more before you come, so that you could actually enjoy yourself. Most monger come to AC is on a budget for cheap laid if they have alot money they go to Bangkok or Macau for the hot model, I been coming here for over 12 yr now and I see more and more newbie are coming here now over spending and driving the price up every yr, the bar know this and will increase the barfine and the girl attuide is also getting worst also, I took a trip to subic bay for a few days and find the bar and girl are friendly and good attuide most barfined is 1500 p both girl stay until the morning and it is very relaxing place but the girl quality is not as good as AC.

I'm shite at writing reports so I will just jot down my impressions of the bars and anything else that comes to mind. Got some good advice from the board for my trip so hopefully some of the information below will be useful to members visiting in the next 2-3 months.
Pony Tails; first bar I walked into and I immediately saw 4-5 lookers (7 to 8 out of 10). This was about 9pm but idiot that I was, I left after 1 drink to check out the other bars thinking that I can go back later to bf. But all the hotties were gone when I went back at 10pm! Ended up taking out a not bad looking girl (6. 5). This is part of the Dollhouse group and the EWR is 1500p (orange tag) and 1800p (white tag). I've been to Pattaya many times and never liked the Dollhouse there but in AC I seem to be spending a lot of time in the DH bars.
Insomnia – saw maybe 3 girls who rated a 6. 5. But all the girls seem to be having a great time on stage!
Tropix – Spent a lot of time in this bar. There are at least 3-4 lookers here but they get taken out early or they leave by 11pm so get there early. Took out a lovely girl but when I went back for her on my last day she was on the rag. My second choice made some excuse about not feeling well but I think the real reason was because she was good friends with the first girl. Took another hottie instead but she turned out to be a starfish. Part of the Dollhouse group; EWR is 1500p and 1800p.

Dollhouse – watch out or the cherry girls, I was told there were 12 here after wasting 2 lady drinks! Pretty good atmosphere, I saw at least 2 Koreans and a Japanese literally throwing money around on different nights. Good for the girls I supposed since the bar doesn't get a cut.
Atlantis. The only large bar I visited, there simply wasn't any atmosphere since the stage is pretty far away. Part of the Dollhouse group; EWR is 1800p and 3000p. 3-4 lookers, all with green tags.
Q Bar – 2 or 3 lookers here and I took out one who turned out to be a real energizer bunny. EWR is 1800p and 2000p.
Genesis– some of the happiest looking girls in AC! My first time in here. 4 girls refused to get off the stage when the next group came on because they wanted to finish their Gangnam dance! This was about 4am and I found out later that some of the girls had been dancing since 4pm. At least 4-5 lookers. Probably the only place to find a looker at 4am. EWR is 2000p. They give you a bottle of lumagnog (cane liquor?) when you pay the EWR, don't open it or it'll strip the paint of the nearest wall!
Club Asia – 4-5 absolute stunners, equal to the ones in Pattaya's Superbaby! At least 3 times I walked in ready to plonk down the 3000p for one of the stunners but somehow it never worked out. First time I came back from the loo to find that all the stunners had been taken by Koreans / Japanese within minutes of each other. Another 2 times the girls seemed disinterested or reluctant to go out for LT. I guess the attitude is also similar to the Superbaby stunners! Part of the Dollhouse group; EWR is 1800p and 3000p.

first report of my trip to angeles!
so i arrived really really late to mnl airport and i booked a pick up with margarita station pickup. the driver was great along with the service! he waited all day for me because i missed my early flight and had to catch a late one 12 hours later! he also waited over an hour because of the crazy immigration lines and the long process of picking up your check in bag. i must say, driving to angeles at night is way better than during the day, mainly because traffic is really really light! although, i did get a bit of motion sickness because he was speeding, the food i ate previously, the free coke i got from the service and the flight. for the noobies, i paid about 2650 peso's and i tipped him a small amount.

I managed to budget my money fantastically and was comfortable every minute of my trip. My trip started with me flying into Manilla and being picked up by a private driver from Margarita Station to Angeles. Cost was 2600 pesos which is considered a lot by most people but I enjoy the comfort, security, easiness and reliability that comes with private drivers compared to other sources of transportation to Angeles from Manilla.
The hotel I stayed at was also a bit expensive for most mongers but I didn't mind. I stayed at the Lewis Grand for about $90 US a night. I loved the hotel, the rooms, the food and the pool. I'd like to tell these mongers that I'm not staying at this hotel for the girls but rather for my own comfort. When I go on a vacation, I actually do want it to feel like a vacation. Also, girls are impressed by it and it comes with other benefits among the locals. Because the owners of these higher end hotels like Lewis and ABC are so known in the community, it can get you out of a lot of trouble and or help in situations.
I budgeted my money daily, like most people do. On my first night, I spent about 8000 pesos on a 1800 barfine, a meal and mostly on drinks. My first night was great and I wanted to party like a rockstar! Throwing around 20peso bills at the bars as well as ping pong balls! Although, I regretted it the next day, I didn't mind. In order to correct this mistake, I just spent a bit less on other days and nights! This also meant no 3000 peso barfine for this trip but I didn't mind. I hit the jackpot on several 1500, 1200 and 1800 barfine girls that were amazing both in the looks and sexual deeds department. One of the mongers I drank with said I still spent too much and how I should of rented a cell phone and hooked up with the girls after work for a much cheaper price. I consider 1500-2000pesos really cheap compared to the US and I didn't want to wait till 4am plus inorder to see if I could get with the girl or wether she gets barfined by another monger. When I want something, I'm not going to gamble in order to save $5 or $10.
What did I learn from this trip? Those of you who despise the Asian community for coming to the Philippines and barfining girls for 3000pesos should relax and leave them be. They, like me only come to Angeles maybe once a year? Why should we live and act like were cheap and wanting to pay the lowest prices on our vacation? I doubt, most of you'll will even touch a 3000 peso girl so what's the problem here? Also, most of the bars are owned and run by Westerners or former mongers. If you have a problem with the prices, customer base, the way the girls act, why not take it up with them?
Oh and one more thing! Another monger kept knocking on me about paying 50-100 pesos for a trike ride from Walking Street to Lewis Grand. He told me how the pro mongers rent a bike for 250 pesos a day. Well, because my hotel offers free shuttle rides, I just need a ride back. Most trike drivers don't ask for anything, you tip what you want! I actually only give 50-70 pesos for a ride with on a few occasions giving 40 pesos because I'm short on money but they didn't mind. And because I only make one ride a day on a trike, I'm actually saving almost 190 pesos a day. Also, the monger actually got pulled over by police after running from him. Got himself into a heap of trouble for not wearing a helmet and running. So I consider myself smart in my decision and backed my decision up with the event of my fellow monger getting into a heap of trouble.

My trip to Angeles is a wrap!
I managed to budget my money fantastically and was comfortable every minute of my trip. My trip started with me flying into Manilla and being picked up by a private driver from Margarita Station to Angeles. Cost was 2600 pesos which is considered a lot by most people but I enjoy the comfort, security, easiness and reliability that comes with private drivers compared to other sources of transportation to Angeles from Manilla.
The hotel I stayed at was also a bit expensive for most mongers but I didn't mind. I stayed at the Lewis Grand for about $90 US a night. I loved the hotel, the rooms, the food and the pool. I believe I would go back if I come back to Angeles in the near future. I've had other mongers lecture me on how I'm spending to much on a hotel and girls aren't impressed by it. You call this Budgeting you manage your money just as good as G W Bush, I can get by with about 100 USD not including travel expensive easy even with everything go up in price and I don't paid 1900 p barfined every night either, I was at AC about 3 week ago stay 4 night spend just a bit over 400 USD hotel, food and barfine included now that is budgeting.

Its not being cheap to save money on like services its being smart. I myself will ride a Jeepney up and down fields back to my hotel which is almost always Clarkton. 40-50 pesos for a trike or 8 pesos for a jeep saves tons of money also free shuttle when ever possible. You can find some really pretty girls in the 1300-1800 range why would you go 3000 for a starfish model. Let the Japanese guys have them I say. I don't need a diva. I never got the cell phone thing in AC. For one I don; t want to play the I will be there soon game with the girls over the phone and then them taking a hr + longer then they say to actually get there. No thanks I will take the girl right from the bar and she's mine till the arranged contract is up. I never buy ladies drinks toss ping pong balls OR anything else that is a waste of money and unnecessary to max out the fun.

The street prices reported in here of about P400 for a pack of 4 just seem so unbelievable. I guess either stolen or counterfeit. But reports in the forum seem to say that they still give some kick. I'm guessing even if counterfeit. They are cutting 100mg tabs to do 10mg or something. Assuming there is honour among thieves.

I actually picked up a dime from the Perimeter bars for 1200 pesos. I would recommend all mongers trying them Perimeter bars out during the day. I buy viagra and cialis from my distributor in AC. Made in India. Price is 100 pesos for a box of 4. I buy 30 to 100 boxes at a time, and give it away to my mates in Australia when I am home.

So, I've done 3 visits to Players on my current trip with different fellow mongers and we just weren't that impressed with the lineup. In my opinion, it's one of the worst on Walking Street but everyone is different. It was also completely dead when I stopped by last night.
YGI believe this place has one shift from 3pm to 11pm or something like that. I wouldn't expect much to be there at night. Talent comes and goes in many clubs but if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for you. If you want to see what they really have I think you'd have to go there close to opening or by late afternoon.
I sometime buy "generic" Cialis from an online site. It comes from India and it works. Less than $2. 50 per pill at 20mg. The street stuff in Philippines, I usually pay 250p for the 4pak and it works fine too. I'm guessing it also comes from India. And it's cheaper than the online site. I think there is a thread here on ISG that is devoted to performance enhancement chems.
Before someone else writes it, there may be DANGER in using chems from a 3rd world country. I'm a fairly comfortable with risk, but others may want to pay Pfizer for peace of mind. X.

I've taken stuff from the streets and it works fine. I've never bought it but some of my fellow mongers gave me a pill a few times. I recommend you break it in have because one whole pill is a bit overkill from my experiences.
The only downside of the street stuff is, you don't exactly know what else is in the pill. Like what combination of chemicals and stuff. If you want a better grasp of this concept, try watch Breaking Bad. There's several ways to make drugs with different chemicals and it'll still the job but may have different side effects either in the short or long run.

Chances are the three girls I mentioned in my previous report were already scooped up. It's all timing. I wasn't impressed with the other girls there. Just the three I mentioned.

GI never use the street pills but I had a few friends take them and only one had a problem. He told me when he went to the toliet one day he saw blood from his ass and run to his doctor who said that was a side effect of generic pills. It could have been because he took to many pills but it up to you to deside the risk you are willing to take.

It depends on which part of Palawan you are staying in. You will probably go to Puerto Princesa, El Nido, or Coron. I can sugest Hibiscus Garden Hotel in PP and you can take some tours from there to see the beaches.

I arrive Manila in mid-December and have about 48 hours solo before I have to head south to meet up with family. What to do? Stay in Manila, which I am familiar with, and tear it up? Was last there in 2010. Or head to Angeles? Or even Subic? Haven't been to either since my Navy days but have good memories!
Suggestions? Recommendations? Help me out here. Wish I had this dilemma all the time!

You can fly direct from Clark to Puerto Princessa, Palawan with Air Asia. So no need to go to Manila (unless they've changed the schedule).But if your heart is set on one of the exotic resorts like El Nido or Coron, it's a long trip on rough roads from Puerto Princesa. Puerto Princesa has lots of rustic surroundings, but you need to travel out to nearby Honda Bay by boat to get to the nicer water resorts. The islands of Honda Bay (on the East side of the island) offer reef diving, a little fishing, and a relaxing setting. It's also the location from which two Americans and one Filipina were taken hostage by Muslim extremists about 12 years ago, The Philippines has reportedly set up defensive protection to protect against another such incident. There is also a resort town, Sabang, on the iisland's West coat, which can be reached in a 1 1/2 hour drive from Puerto Princesa. It's also the jumping off place for boat rides to the underground river, one of the current "seven wonders of the world," and probably worth seeing. Sabang does have nice swimmable beaches, although accommodations are not as plush as El Nido or Coron. If you can handle a bamboo hut along the beach and limited eateries and stores, Sabang could be a quaint vacation site. If you like the outdoors, Sabang is set in a national park managed by the city of Puerto Princesa with lots of hiking trails. Puerto Princesa is the provincial capital, has some commercial possibilities, and has a few great seafood restaurants and open markets.

If it were me, I'd do the 2hr trip to stay in AC. I haven't been to AC yet (Feb '13 booked) , but I like what I've read.
If money wasn't a problem, you might get a room at ABC and use their helicopter pickup from Manilla... Extravagent, but it has style...

Davao, cdo. Surigao. And pagadian which is pretty far south.
In pagadian the hotel told me to be sure and get milatary or police escort if I go much further south.
This was confirmed by talking to two mayors of the towns. They had body guards with them.
Any place can be dangerous but some places are more dangerous.

In a Pattaya pharmacy where I go sometimes they have the same pill made in three different places.
At different prices.
The street pills in angels has caused changes in my heart rate more then any of the other pills.
Several doctors tell me that some sort of amphetamine is added that is cheaper and does help with erection.
So if you are more sensitive you may have more of a problem with the street stuff.
Several of my friends use it and tell me they have no problems.
But I will not use it after it caused irregular heart beats.

Sounds like Sabang might be the place, since at my advanced age, a rough road trip is not desirable. Need to research accommodations there. Not good with mosquitoes etc at this point in my health. I don't fish or dive. Just want to check out the natural setting and do some extensive photography. Any other suggestions most welcome.

The security situation there has deteriorated dramatically over the past few years, and it's not entirely safe for foreigners. The so-called peace agreement is not a comprehensive plan, but a framework that will anchor the development of a comprehensive plan over the next three years. However, some splinter groups within the MILF have not agreed to the peace framework, and it's anyone's guess how this will play out. Meanwhile, Zamboanga, just a 40 minute boatride away from Basilan, remains restive. Finally, aside from the less-than-superb Garden Orchid Hotel, there's no secure place for a foreigner to stay. My best advice is to stay away, and meet in Davao.

I arrived in AC three days ago. In the first 24 hours here in the Fields Ave area, I saw three separate incidents of foreigners being pickpocketed or a bag snatched by these boys who work in teams of 3 to 6 kids. The first two involved Korean-looking Asians, one had his wallet picked when he was suddenly bumped by these kids. After one boy grabbed his wallet, they all ran in separate directions and you can't tell which kid had the wallet. The second Korean had his camera bag snatched as he was getting into a trike. Again, the kids ran in separate directions. The third involved a drunken white guy who was bumped by kids who then ran. I don't think he knew his wallet was picked.
I have been to AC for many years but I have never actually witnessed these incidents. I think this problem is now rampant because the staff of the two hotels I stayed in constantly warned me against these kids. This has never happened before. So everyone heed this warning. Secure your pockets and don't take your passport, I'd card, driver's license, credit cards, etc. With you as you don't need them while in AC.
