I will go for two days AC. How can I go the best way from Manila to AC and back?

To start with, I want all first time travellrs to the Philippines to discard and forget all the reports that they have read in the internet about the crimes and theft and killing in the Philippines. Wear your watch and carry your mobile and keep your wallet in your pocket and enjoy your travel.
If you can get a flight from Dubai on the Emirates A380 it will be great and very enjoyable. If not, then you have to bear long hours of flight to reach Manila airport.
At 12:00 noon I reached Manila and believe it or not I was the only tourist there and the rest were Filipino workers coming back home. It took me less than five minutes to pass the immigration. I waited for my luggage in the Customs section and when it arrived I moved direct towards the green zone.
While I was waiting for my hotel taxi I inquired at the airport taxi counter about the cost of transfer to my hotel in Emerita by Yellow taxi. The cost was 530 Peso and my hotel charged me 600 Peso.
Boulevard hotel in Emerita is a horrible place to stay in. However it was very close to the entertainment centres in Manila: L. A. CAfe, Amazonia and G-point. Amazonia was my first destination. It is a short walk from Boulevard hotel. A very nice place to enjoy your drink and chat with the waitresses. There are few outdated freelancers hovering there. The price of local beer (San Migel) is 70 Peso daytime and 135 at night. The price of freelancers for 3 or 4 hours is 1500 Peso but they start with 2000. You will not find younger than 40 years of age among these. If you like the oldies go for it. The waitresses are attractive but they are both time and money consuming. The Western customers who show up there are also mature. Amazonia is quiet on day and night time. I tried with one of the waitresses but failed to get her attention. Some of the oldies, frankly speaking are eloquent and full of experience. One of them agreed to give me all necessary action: kissing, hugging, massaging, BJ and anal. I took her to my hotel. The security asked for ID card. She did not have. Stealthily, I put 50 Peso in his hand and let her. Inside the room she did as promised but after two hours she dressed to ready to go. So there is no full-time in Manila, it is all either 2 or 3 hours stay.
My next destination was L. A. Cafe which was very close to Amazonia. Now, here it is crowded, day and night. The cost of a local beer is 80 Peso on day time and 125 Peso at night. There are many freelancers there, young and old and the cost is 2000 Peso and above. The service is not as good as at Amazonia. You can find all nationalities here, Koreans, Australians Saudies and Africans. If you don't like downstairs you can go upstairs and its totally false the reports that assume upstairs is only for Koreans. But here, unlike Amazonia, smoking is a problem for non-smokers. I met a young freelancer who agreed to come with me for 1500 Peso inclusive. But she was not good and I sent her back.
G-point is a little further than L. A. And like Amazonia it is quiet. There are some old freelancers there. The cost of beer is very reasonable; 80 Peso during daytime. But what make G-pont different is their daily buffet from 12:00 to 3:00 for only 260 Peso. I did not visit G-point at night because of the rain and distance.
The best way to reach Angeles City from Manila is by bus. A taxi will cost you 3000 Peso or more, while a bus will cost you 600 Peso. Where to buy the ticket? If you are staying in Eremita area, you can walk to Catholic Church off Mabini St. And from there to Swagman hotel. Or, take a tricycle for 50 Peso.
The journey will take around 2 and half hours and they drop you at the place of destination. My hotel was 950 Condotel which is located above a supermarket. But when I arrived there, the security man told me that the hotel had moved somewhere else. After sometime a young guy arrived and he apologized for the inconveniences and added that my hotel was 10 minutes drive off Field Avenue. The car came and we drove to the new hotel. It is situated in a residential area, a large building with cabins and called MRJJ Residences. At first, I did not like the place but when the lady showed me the room, I was glad to see a deluxe studio with all cooking facilities.
I stayed there for two weeks. It would take around 20 to 30 minutes walking to the end of Field Avenue or the Walking Street. Quite near the old 950 Condotel, there a bar called Margaritta Station Bar. This is a great place to relax before moving to the Walking Street. The beer costs only 55 Peso and the food is cheap too. It is a bright and friendly place and the management apparently is American. Most of the waitresses are not taller than 140 cm. Some freelancers can also be seen there. I liked the atmosphere there and would often have a couple of San Migel Light before heading towards The Walking Street.
All the bars I visited would show their ladies on the stage who would dance in front of the customers. And strangely enough, most of the bars are owned and managed by the Koreans. The atmosphere is friendly in all of these bars. Everyone is allowed to enter: Koreans, Westerners, African American, Saudies and more and more. Unlike the Agogos in Pattaya which are owned and manged by Westerners and do not allow South Indians and Middle Easterners to enter, here every one is welcome to join. This is the essence of Korean brotherhood.
The barfine is 2500-3000 Peso. This applies to all bars. Now you also need to buy a drink for the lady of your choice to know her performance and this will cost you around 150-200 Peso. If you take her out you must tip her the next morning about 200-300 Peso. But if you keep her with you, you have to buy her food and drinks and this will come up between 300-400 Peso. Keep in mind very few of them agree to full service: no kissing, no BJ and no anal. The cost of local beer (San Migel) is between 100 to 120 in all bars.
Now compare those expenses to what you get in Pattaya: 300 Baht for the bar, 1000 (or less) for the lady and 20 baht you give her for her transport. If you want to buy her a drink it is not more than 120 Baht. Furthermore, there are three or four big malls in Patttaya where you can spend your daytime there, in addition to several beaches. None of these are easily available in Angeles City.
In addition to these various bars in the Walking Street, there two restaurants which are worth a visit. First Phillies Sport Bar which is located at the entrance of The Walking Street. The drinks and food there are expensive and the atmosphere is dull. The second one is Paradise Beer Bar almost at the end of The Walking Street. The atmosphere is nice and the cost of beer and food is cheaper than Phillies.

Just a few points as am a tad confused also.
EK does not fly A380 to Manila (I sue this route all the time) - it did a special flight with a pinoy pilot for PR etc but that's all as the airport can't handle A380's (it can't handle much IMHO but definitely not that aircraft). It uses 777's.
If you arrived at 1 noon with EK you were either very late or not on EK as there are 2 flights a day and there arrive aroudn4-5 pm and 10-11 pm depending if you circle NAIA many times or not (as the airports is a total basket case as many have said before on this forum).
Am amazed that you were the only non pinoy on the plane. Must be a first as never happened to me in all my years. I would agree that many are returning PFWs certainly in why class but in J class there has always been a mix for me.
As for 5 minutes. Again a first. I have once had a quick exit and I would say 20 minutes is my record but yours is exceptional.
As for AC and your observations, I am not a fan of AC unless I am going for a specific very nawty reason LOL. I won't visit just to visit but AC is a place to take my Cebuana cuties for some very nawty fun when they can't be seen dong it in Cebu.

I find it odd that no girl would kiss or BJ you. Out of all the girls I've barfined in Angeles, there was never a single one that didn't kiss. True, some don't BJ. And most won't do anal. Kissing, never not had one kiss. BJ, 8 out of 10 probably do this for me. Anal, very few.
In general, I think the value proposition of Angeles has declined significantly in the last 3 years or so. Bar fines are up by about 30 to 40 percent and the girls filling the bars are of much lower quality than before. I think the Koreans really messed this place up by overpaying.
LA cafe is a hit or miss place, but mostly miss in my opinion. I must have been to that place 50 times or so in the past 5 years, and I've taken 3 girls out of there. Its not a bad place to have a drink if you can stand the smoke.
That sucks that Condotel 950 moved on you, if I hadn't paid yet, I would have just gotten another hotel close by, wouldn't put up with that.

EK does not fly A380 to Manila. A380 requires two tier loading and unloading, upstairs and lower level. Most airports in the world have not redesigned some of their gates to handle this. Only a few cities have done that. Manila cannot handle normal aircrafts, let alone a A380.

I was shocked to hear 530 pesos for a yellow taxi to Ermita. The price is actually under 300. As for the girls from those venues not wanting to stay, that is a mixed bag. Sometimes they will, but more often than not I think they do pull that getting back home stuff.

The bar owners in Pattaya are not racist per se, money is money. There are some valid reasons why they exclude certain tourist groups and these have been discussed ad nauseam on the Thailand board. If group loads of cheap charlies arrived from India each day to AC and continued to behave poorly, then the Koreans might not be so generous.
The best way to reach Angeles City from Manila is by bus.
This is a matter of opinion and the pros and cons have been thrashed to death on the Travelling to AC thread. It depends on how much you value your time and whether you want to wait around at the Victory Liner bus terminal or wait for Swagman's limited schedule.
Keep in mind very few of them agree to full service: no kissing, no BJ and no anal. Most girls will do DFK and BBBJ. Only one girl in my last three trips to AC insisted on CBJ. Even the runner and non-performer I had were happy to DFK. Agree that anal is not that common and most girls will say "I want to keep my ass cherry".
Furthermore, there are three or four big malls in Patttaya where you can spend your daytime there, in addition to several beaches. None of these are easily available in Angeles City.
There are two huge malls in AC with cinema complexes. SM Clark Mall is across the road from Fields Avenue and you can walk there in 5 minutes. Marquee Mall is 5 minutes away by trike. Sure, they don't have the hi-so fashion boutiques like in Greenbelt, but everything else an average mongerer and his BG friend might need are there.

You and I both fly the same route so I have to read his FR in light of that glaring mistake and what others have pointed out also.
The 'treat' was correct and was PR for the government but was also rightly lambasted by netziens saying the pilot left the country 15 years ago and it showed there was no hope for well educated people in the Philippines (was basically a lose lose in the end for the PR team LOL).
The fact that NAIA can barely handle 777's, I can never imagine a day when an A380 will land and be properly disembarked. Only in first world countries with modern up to date and efficient facilities me thinks LOL.
Firstly, thanks for a thorough FR. Good job. Perhaps there is a mistake or two, but the type of aeroplane one flies is of concern to the pilot, aviation enthusiasts, and those managing the airport. As long as it reaches its destination safely is all that matters.

The big spender Chinese and European go to Macau and Bangkok not AC, but Korean like AC and Manila they like the GFE p4 p is much cheaper than in Seoul you should know that if you been to AC.

They do deep maintenance on some aircraft there. They do not operate it as a passenger aircraft, so the terminals do not have to be able to handle the twin deck configuration.
The aircraft needs to arrive and depart in the early hours of the morning as it is towed along the taxiways due to the width constraints. It would cause major operational delays to attempt this during the busier traffic periods. The link I post later shows the aircraft arriving at 0330 PHT.
Next time you are taxiing at MNL, look into the Lufthansa maintenance hangar and you will be surprised what you see.

Yes, I very much agree with you. Of course each girl has several motivations. Certainly how pressing her immediate need for money will weigh in her mind. Next would be availability of the next customer. And of course rapport & chemistry are important, if not the most important. I have received far better service on my rare repeats, and on several occasions ended up with LT instead of ST that same night after the gratuity was delivered. The latter were in Thailand. Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure =/= the passport must be obtained 6 months prior to departure. It means there must be 6 months validity remaining on the existing passport. Today is 5 Aug 2015. If a Filipino passport expires on or before 5 Feb 2016 the person may be barred from traveling. Keep in mind several countries require inbound travelers' passports to have 6 months or more validity.

I have so been looking forward to going to Angeles. When you read some of the FRs, you just have to go and check out this place. Most people would be traveling from their homeland, so often it's date of departure from the homeland. However, a person could be outside their home country having travelled earlier when the passport had more than 6 months validity. Now that passport has less then 6 months validity and he / she wants to travel to another country that isn't their home country. Much like a person without an onward airline ticket (which we've discussed here at ISG recently) a person could be stopped. If the destination country fines an airline for allowing the ticket holder to board and fly it behooves the airline to examine the passport at the check-in counter.
I think it's safe to say if your passport has less than 6 months validity you may experience problems traveling to many places except for returning to your home country or to a country where you have the legal right to reside due to your visa status, such as a spouse, investor, or retiree. Of course it's prudent to check each country's requirements.
What's the specific reason for 6 months (or 3 or 1) I couldn't tell you. I reckon a person with an expired passport may cause some hassles for immigration officials, so this rule was enacted to minimise their aggravations.

4) To thwart fraud and protect you your bank declines suspicious transactions. Sad to say but true, the Philippines has a reputation for fraud. You need to notify your bank(s) and or credit card company(s) before you depart. After authenticating my bank's website allows me to send messages directly which is more secure than sending an email. Always smart to have the bank's telephone number if you need to call from overseas.
If possible it's sensible to have secondary and tertiary alternatives in case your card fails to work, is locked, is eaten, or disappears. The one Dg mentioned sounds good.

In Ayala mall (Cebu) you can get a better rate on the 3rd floor than you can get on the first floor. Best rates are had at the little hole in the wall place on Fuente Osmena Circle next to Mercury Drugs.
When I went to Ormoc Leyte money was a never ending problem. There are not many money changers and many shops struggle to give change for 500 pesos, never mind 1 k. Even the friggin hotel gave me a bag of coins for change. The maid got a good tip that time.

Woke up and you just feel lazy here. Maybe 'cause I am in a holiday mood, maybe it's the heat or maybe it's just the Philippines. Make my way over to breakfast and can only make it as far as Margaritte Station. I am just not used to this heat. Got to go catch a plane but first a few thoughts and observations about AC. In no particular order.
I was surprised with how many men were here in a group (2-4). I was under the impression that AC was full of loner wolves out hunting. If a guy was in a group, he looked happier than the single guys walking. Especially on Walking Street, guys in groups just seemed to be laughing and having a really good time together. You can have a lot of fun here flying solo but I think you can have a lot more fun with a wing man. Or two.
AC is a fun place to be. And it's easy to figure out and navigate. I found it safer than I had imagined but at the same time, I was also very cautious. Apart from the crocodile customs officer, I think I did OK.
It's hot but it's manageable. Everything really is within walking distance but you may find a trike to be helpful. And, if you get tired or are too hot, just stop in one of the many bars and have a beer to refresh and then continue walking.
For first timers, you don't need to RTFF. It will help and if you do decide to RTFF, you can't just read 4-5 pages; you have to go back a long way because this forum has so many reports on it on so many topics. You will get better at navigating as you read more. If you decide not to RTFF, I think you will be okay as it's a pretty easy place to figure out. And you will learn as the days go on.
Don't worry about trying to find the best bar with the prettiest girl or the best value for money. I found most of the bars were perfect for what I wanted to get out of this trip.

I know a couple of long-standing residents in AC who both have them and they were issued "legally" but everybody knows these guys too and they look like senior citizens.
I was offered the opportunity to get one by a barangay councillor (a kagawad) in another place (not AC) , who happens to be my father-in-law. He said I am eligible for one because I have lived here for 18 years and he will sign my recommendation. I haven't bothered yet because it is such a pain in the neck to use with all the paperwork required.
The bill has to be computed separately and if there are 2 or more people it takes forever for the server to sort it out, and then you have to sign this and that. Last time I had dinner with a guy who wanted to pay for me but he was also trying to use his Senior Citizens I. D for his share and I ended up just paying the total bill because the hassle threatened to take up 15 minutes.
If you have received one Pirate then I assume you were given it through the right channels which means nobody will challenge you on it, especially if you really are over 62 years old and if you look like a senior citizen. If it is a fake and you are using it for penny-pinching to save a few pesos here and there then taking such a risk is silly. In the unlikely event that you get "sprung", the consequences are probably going to be unpleasant.

My knowledge of the law is that it is purely for citizens born in the Philippines. Correct me if I am wrong about that.
Last month I was in a restaurant and a group of 5 Asians speaking Korean or Chinese whipped out their SC discount cards. They didn't appear to be Philippine senior citizens to me nor even close to 62 yo. The owner was not too happy but didn't challenge it.

I also read recently in a post that a corrupt customs person tried to get a hand out from someone carrying more than 10,000 Peso out of the country. The US Dollar amounts allowed to be brought in is clearly shown in various places, but the piece on the Peso amount allowed to be taken out of Philippines is usually missing. Customs individuals are looking for personally pocketing any excess you carry, so be careful on that. Even the security staff on exiting Philippines are on the watch for a personal bonus. Most laws in the Philippines are interpreted locally as a means of corruption: customs, traffic cops etc etc.It is illegal for any incoming or outgoing passenger to bring in or out Philippine Pesos in excess of P10,000.00 without prior authority from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Now that I'm a bit under a week removed from returning to the Philippines, I think I can look back on it and say that I can't really see myself going again. If anyone afraid of Manila traffic hassles they can use this smooth airport loop line up to Genesis. Here have Taft Ave. MRT and Edsa LRT; just ride the train and drop by their destination stations (need to know beforehand correctly which station they want to drop).
Time and money saving way; but need to digest personal hassle, no doubt about that. Make your choice which hassle you can adjust.

I've probably been there a dozen times, have stayed exclusively at ABC, and still find it one of the most boring places on earth. I will never understand how guys can stay there for weeks at a time. Fair taxi price from manila airport departure lounge to your Angeles hotel. 2200 pesos (make sure to go up the flight of steps from arrivals to departures, for the taxis at arrivals charge like wounded bulls).
Fair taxi price from Angeles bus depot to Manila airport, 1000 pesos (Taxi parking area is hidden a short distance from the bus parking area.).
Ignore the touts at the Angeles bus depot. Make sure you negotiate only with a real taxi driver sitting in his real taxi ready to take you and your luggage to Manila. Touts will try to grab your luggage and carry it to a taxi of their choice. Don't let them. Hang on to your own luggage and drag it yourself. Your luggage is apt to be kidnapped to get you to take an overpriced taxi. Do not negotiate taxi prices with a tout, do not let a tout carry your luggage. If you cannot find the taxi area, ask a tout for directions but carry your own luggage. Never give a taxi tout any money. They are the scum of the earth and do not deserve it.
Where is Pinochet when we need him? He would put up a sign saying "taxi parking this way" and jail the touts. But I suppose he would shut down the gogo bars also.

Mine covers 100 pills of Cialis and the pills cost Php220 each at any Mercury Drugstore. The second is to walk into a pharmacy, claim that you have a prescription in the USA, Canada, Europe or wherever and forgot to bring it. This won't always work, but it will at least half the time. Also, generic Viagra without a prescription is available at most Mercury Drug stores.
I chose not to include most of this post due to the poster's implicit contempt for Filipinas. The advice seems to sum up to treating the ladies as on-demand sperm recipients who should be grateful for our celestial presence. I have read back the forum quite a lot and seen posts where you guys mention a bar fine of say 3000 P, now the thing that I'm puzzled about is this the total that you need to pay the bar girl for her to spend short or long time with you or do you need to pay her as well as the bar fine? As in Thailand you pay the BF then pay the girl.
But I'm just unclear as to the operation for payments in Angeles City.

Then asked what about some infrastructure (PHP 150 million) that they all knew had not even started but feared had be allocated had already been 'spent'.
As a very insightful article that sums up even the local issues that impact the people and why many won't vote in the city in 2016. Unless Rody the (who runs your patch of the woods) stands as while he maybe not be to everyone's liking he has a resonance with the people it seems. To8 gh, hard, hates corruption and they like his tough guy attitude But then they say "if he stand, someone will assassinate him as he threatens the family status quo".

2. Depends what kind of room you want. Crappy rooms can be had for 1 k PHP. I usually spend 2 k daily on my room and I'm happy. Try to book in advance if you want a decent room. Most of the decent hotels won't have availability for walk in guests.
3. Depends, out on the perimeter, it can be as low as 1200. But I think most would agree the quality is not as good as you'd find down on fields, where the bar fines are usually at least 2 k.

The current version of the Philippine Constitution draws a rigid line between church and state. Unfortunately it's a highly permeable line in practice with churches, eddying endlessly in public policy. What's worse is that politicians are scared to death of the churches' influence and thus typically acquiesce to whatever changes in policy the churches desire.

Thanks for the help.1. High season is around fall / winter months. Large crowds of mongers but also more girls. Do not go around Christmas as the bars will be dead around that time due to the girls flocking to the provinces for the holidays.
2. It depends on your budget. AC has a hotel for all type of mongers. I exclusively stayed at the Wild Orchid which is on the expensive side. You have the $86-130 a night. If you really want to live on "High Society" try the Lewis Grand or ABC. Never stayed at those because they are out of of vicinity of walking street. You can take trike or take the walk up to you. I heard the (different from the Wild Orchild) Orchild was a good stay for low budget mongers.
3. Depends on the bar $43 was the standard in big bars. While $11- $21 was the standard in the small bars.
4. Just walk down the street and pop into any bar you see fit you never know what you might find. I always like the Blue Nile, Atlantis, Dollhouse and Genesis.
5. Girl will stay for a couple of hours (short time) or to the morning (long time). Most will stay until morning unless she is a hardened pro or she thinks you are the Elephant man.
6. Budget depends on you. How many lady drinks you want to buy and how many bar fines you want per day. Stay away from lady drinks. Only buy one drink per girl you are interested in they add up quickly.
7. Don't wear valuable things such as jewelry its not worth it. Filipino guys have mastered the art of removing jewelry from other people. I were jewelry all the time around the county and only one time thought I was in danger of being a victim. I recognized the situation and once my predators realized I saw them coming they back off. They also can sense weakness in some individuals as one old time monger and member here who resides in Manila has been robbed countless times and he wears no jewelry.
8. Be nice to the people but don't be a fool. Watch out scams and tricks. If you buy something off the street watch guys who will double back saying you didn't give them all the correct total for the item. Make sure you count it out loud along with him. Don't order a bunch of drinks because they add up quickly. Don't argue with staff. I saved a guy life back in 2012 when he was harassing the bar staff after having one to many. Don't walk down any side streets. Filipino street guys mostly at night will try to harass you and try to get you to fight with them. Mind your business, ignore but keep your eyes on them and not the half naked bar girl that's probably accompanying you back to your hotel.

In Baracay the girls are no good, and much worse in high season. Angeles, not so much.
2. How much should you expect to pay a day for a hotel? And which would you suggest?Around five thousand a day for a decent hotel, two thousand if you want to go squalid.
3. How much are the bar fines?At the gogos, two thousand, three thousand, plus a tip, plus you first buy the girl a lady drink or two, which, all up, likely adds up to four thousand. At High Society I paid one thousand down, and promised them one or two thousand in the morning. This sounds somewhat cheaper, but the sweetest and most innocent girls in High Society generally come in pairs, and I felt reluctant to split them up.
4. Any suggested bars?All great that I tried, except I had bad experiences with Voodoo, which may not necessarily be representative of Voodoo.
7. How should you dress?Everyone dresses in thongs, t-shirt, and shorts, but in High Society (and midnight at High Society was my favorite) you will do better dressing like the bouncers.

This was about 3 years ago and ostensibly the useless politicians have been "studying" the proposal ever since. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, NEDA has announced that it is "studying" alternatives for NAIA which, as all sentient creatures know, can't be improved to acceptable standards given the impossibility of expanding its size. Hopefully, the next President, who is likely to be more intelligent than the current one, will disinter the San Mig proposal and decide to move the country into 21st Century air transport modernity. Until then, forget about accommodating the A 380 anywhere in this country. I'm guessing that the real reasons local pols hate private public partnerships is that there's no way for the, to dip their hands into the till.

Some airlines even have the First class downstairs while most have the First and Business classes upstairs. I have flown a few times on Air France business class and the service is just out of the world. The seats can roll down into a bed without annoying the passengers in front and behind. The French provided Champagne before taking off then it was constant fresh food and any type of drinks you may want. The plane also lands like a baby. It's a beautiful plane but would need to have more efficient engines going forward if they want to sell anymore of these double-deckers. That would take a few years of testing and customers may not wait. As I have mentioned before, the airports need to have upstairs and downstairs passenger loading and embarking bays. Also, because of the size of the wings, there needs to be considerable distance that there are no other planes close by from loading / unloading taxing to takeoff / landing. You can watch the landings and take off from the cameras mounted on the plane on your entertainment screen.

I will be soon going on my 1st trip to AC. Will be staying at ABC. Can any veteran member kindly please any web resource where I can check a calendar of events. For ex. Tue at 9 pm there's a Brazilian thong show at Atlantis. I'd be interested in body paint shows that I have never seen. Your help is appreciated.

A couple hundred people on American flight 191 got a great view of the ground coming up. It does take on a new utility now as it allows passengers to frantically clear their browser histories.
I've flown on it a couple of times and agree with the "meh" assessment. I was in business class but cannot imagine the hell when the unwashed masses from coach hit the immigrations queue. Normally you need a couple of planes to create that sort of cataclysm, but the new and improved A380 can do it by itself!

The new 748 (B747-8 I) with double capasity on upper level than its old sister / brothers (B744 a B747-400) have longer fuselage than the A380. The Airbus A346 (A340-600) is approx of same length as the B748 I and again a tad longer than A380.
A380 have less cargo capasity than Boings 777 and 747. A330 have larger capasity than A340 as its body is wider and cargohold larger (slightly less capasity than 777). I know there has been discussion Emirates will have designed all in eco class in a few A380's to fly typical Indian, bangladeshians (burmees worker destinations. Very low yield routes but need big capasity (many seats) to move people around.

When they say class in that capacity, it usually deals with only how many people the plane will hold and not how the plane is designed. The B747 is a jumbo jet whereas the A380 is known as a super jumbo jet, so no they are not the same class.
The problem with the A380 is wingspan AND how low the engines are to the ground. At many airports that the plane serves, if not retrofitted then two gates have to be used unless they board on the tarmac (and if retrofitted then it has been done so by using 2 gates). At most airports you have to be careful because certain "normal" planes already will not fit in neighboring gates at the same time and certain planes will only fit certain gates.
Remember taxiways and runways have the grassy areas bordering them with signs and lights and other instruments. The engines on an A380 will gobble those up or hit them at the wrong airport.
Four years ago when Air France was taxiing out of JFK to takeoff to Paris, the wing of the giant aircraft clipped the tail of a commuter plane that was in the ramp waiting for a gate, turning it 90 degrees.
These types of things are what is meant by the airports can not accomodate the plane. It is more than just taking off and landing. Of course it will be able to land and takeoff at most because they have to have alternates in case there is an emergency or in case there is bad weather such as fog at the destination airport.

To get us back on topic let me share a picture of a little pussy I found last month in AC.
The new wing of the iconic America Hotel is open. I looked at a room and was surprised to find it was spacious and had a very large bed. Prices were just over 2000, but this may be a soft opening price. The old wing has been gutted which means no pool for a while. What was the lobby is now a large and nice looking Chinese restaurant. Maybe too large. I can't imagine going in there with a date and feeling comfortable. Maybe it was designed with a tour bus full of East Asians in mind. Has anyone eaten there?

I am not an aviation expert but I think A380 and 747 are in the same class. A380 designation is SUPER.
B747 designation is HEAVY.
Not in the same ATC classification at all.
