I have no idea where the guy traveled, but unless he was in Jolo, somewhere in Basilan or in another conflict area, I have no idea why he would feel the need for a bodyguard. In more than 11 years here, I've had PNP or Philippine Marine guards a couple of times while on business in conflict areas, and at the insistence of the government. Other than that, even in Cotabato, Zamboanga and Marawi, I've never felt the need. Be interesting to hear Red Kilt's take on this as he's been here longer than I and has traveled fairly extensively in some of the more remote spots of Mindanao as I have.
GE.As we have met GE you know what my work was in the Philippines. Of course I had security (AFP / PNP) on all of my trips to Jolo, Tawi-Tawi, Catabota and Zamboanaga, but when I traveled for leisure I never had security. IMHO any foreigner who displays a great wealth is a target if they live in the Philippines. As far as killing foreigners, I would say 90% were inside jobs.

Yesterday morning a new girl started her mens while we were missioning. 5" by 5" red spot on the sheets. She was horrified! Good thing I was prepared and had a small bottle of hydrogen peroxide handy. Poured some on it and within 2 minutes the red was gone.
Finally I put 2 and 2 together. The girls are using birth control pills and stop taking them on the 26th! And then resume taking them on the first of the month.

I returned from my AC trip and stayed at the Central Park Tower and can confirm they do not ask for ID when escorted up, but they do call the room to let me know that they are leaving.
For anyone looking at Central Park Tower, I'd stay there again. Great location, easy to find (tall building visually can be seen, clean and new. The only downside is they only have 2 elevators so when it is busy you will have to wait a bit.To just ride.
Yes most hotel don,t take id but good hotel security will stop girl by them self and ask them which room they are from and ask front desk
To contact you, one time security even bring the girl back up to my room ask me if the girl can leave and I tip the guy.

Fast Eddie 48.Pacific Breeze hotel does this. They have 2 separate buildings with guards at the door. They can also phone you if the room have a phone.

I've lived and worked in the conflict areas of Mindanao for more than ten years, and anyone who believes that one should have no qualms about going to Zamboanga and just hanging out is either recklessly foolish, not very bright, or woefully uninformed. GE.

Thanks for your post and pointing out that some on this board claim whatever the mood takes them.
Lets not fool ourselves, the whole of the Phills is dangerous IMHO, I have many pinoy friends that say exactly that, they would not dream of visiting many parts of Mindanao, most governments have strict warnings for foreigners not to visit many parts at all and a warning of only visit if one must in emergency to places like Davao and the rest of Mindanao.
I would honestly say to anyone thinking of visiting Mindanao, don't for the near future.

There are also many girls on birth control pills that take them for the entire month so they do not get their mens, same for girls who have had the injection birth control do not have mens.

Most exchange places vary by only a very small amount so not worth taking any risks.
Usd, British pounds, euros can be changed anywhere and at good rates, travelers cheques are not widely accepted or exchanged.
My advice, use your cards in the ATM or use exchange booths both at Manila airport before you meet your ride, change just enough to cover your first day, on arrival in Angeles go to SM mall and use one of the banks inside the mall to exchange cash or use one of the ATM inside the same mall, its the safest place and is heavily armed for your safety, I never change money on the street.
Best and easiest is to order taxi service from the hotel you will stay at in Angeles to collect you, normally 2,500-3000 p one way.

There are many drivers available to drive you to AC. P2700 on the average.
Just change $US100 at the airport for transportation and meals to AC.
Don't know about $NZ rate. I assume it would be close to the market rate.
Best rates I heard in AC are Nathalia Hotel and around the corner 2 blocks to Norma's money exchange on Teodoro Street.
Please post about your $NZ exchange rate so your NZ brothers won't have to ask.
PS. Don't get offended if Filipinos don't know where NZ is. Or where down under is! Down under might mean Hell to some Catholics.

A friend was just complaining on Facebook about chicks from Colombia starting to ask him for money. The day before, my main wingman said a chick from Medellin said she was stuck in Bogota and asked him for $200. Mind you, a last minute plane ticket from Bogota to Medellin runs $50. To both guys I said why do you even keep in touch with those chicks knowing all they will do is ask for money? The only thing that takes less effort than asking for it is if the guy offered it up himself.

The money changers seem to work well with those currencies that they see everyday. I had friends who got poor rates when exchanging Korean won. I used to go to black market money changers in Seoul and first change my Korean won into USD and then go to MNL. You may want to bring in USD or Euros instead of NZ $'s. As was previously stated, Get some pesos at the airport (the money changer on the far right at the airport will give you a little better rate.) Make sure you have some small bills as there is a serious cash flow problem with merchants and they expect you to have change and not them. Then, make larger exchanges at the money changers elsewhere. In AC the ones on Fields Ave give a good rate. I ask more than one for their rates probing for arbitrage. Banks do not give good rates. They will buy travelers checks but not at a favorable rate. Similarly, ATM withdrawals have a significant downside. I think there is something like a 400 peso user fee each time you use them. Citibank has no such fee. If the idea of first converting into USD does not seem appealing, you may want to more fully consider the ATM option or travelers checks. Oh, BTW, be careful with your money: a fool and his money are easily parted.

There has already been some good advice to this query. I just want to add a bit. As a repeat visitor I usually have pesos on arrival, but if not I'd change enough at the airport to get me thru the day / night.
Usually Manila exchange rates are a bit better than AC rates. And if you are going out to the provinces you'd want to change money first, and also try to get smaller notes. Big tourist destinations like AC have change, but out in the sticks they don't handle the big 1 kP blue notes so often.
Some bigger malls have money changers, but usually you can get better rates from the private changers out on the street. Don't use the hotels as their rates are often terrible. In an emergency (very late arrival) I've given a hotel some X money as a deposit with the understanding that I'd pay in pesos after changing money. You can do the same trick with a credit card.
Rates are usually better on early weekdays, rather than late Friday and weekends. I suppose many international money markets are closed on weekends.
Most (99.9%) of money changers will count it out in front of you, but on their side of the window. Then they will hand it to you. You should recount. If any changer deviates from this, you should be ready to challenge them. I had one changer do some kind of fancy snazzy meticulous count and stack and then let me recount every stack (ten stacks of ten blue notes). Finally she piled up the stacks and handed me the wad of bills. Warning bells were ringing in my head from the very beginning. I grabbed tightly and sure enough, I felt a tug. She'd pulled a blue note out of the stack. I immediately slapped the money down and asked for a recount. Her recount was done in the traditional way.

You will find Zeny and Cora money changer. A tattoo parlour will be behind these 2 money changers.
Zeny will happily take NZD, Cora probably would too, I usually use Zeny.
I have yet to come accross a money changer with better rates than Zeny for NZD (and probably most other currencies).
I like using Zeny (or Cora) because you could walk inside (middle between Zeny & Cora) and there are counters behind and out of sight of the main street, where you can take your time to ponder about the rate or count your money.
I walk fast when I leave and head to Pony Tails nearby for a drink, if there is anyone tailing you, they are not likely to follow you into PonyTails nor hang around outside too long.
I usually change enough for a couple of days at a time, in case I get robbed, it is not too much to lose.

I don't see a reason to go and complain to the Manager as it would yeild no result. I am going to be here for few more days and this is one bar which I won't be visiting ever.

One thing I wanted to mention about the Money Changers on Fields Ave in AC is that they are typically walk up Stalls. Standing there waiting for your payout is not the safest activity in the world to do. Criminals and gangs of petty thieves are watching those places like hawks waiting for the next out-of-shape, half drunk westerner to stumble up waving a months pay at the booth.
We had a guy on here not too long ago that got robbed and about got his eye poked out while standing there with his back to the street. He was just not paying attention.

Not much one can do if a girl decides to run, they have obviously done this many times and got away with it so now it has become the norm.
As for paying after as some have suggested, this does not solve anything, the girl even if a runner will still demand full payment, don't pay and the cops will be called and will cost many times the barfine to get out of.
I do happen to know this girl and am surprised she is now demanding 3000 pesos for her time, how times have changed in our little dust bowl.

Why not just walk across the road to the mall and change money at the bank which carries little risk of robbery or the chance of getting less money by slight of hand or as some have reported receive fake money.
There are certain unwritten rules when you take a girl from the bar. What is promised at the bar with or without the presence of mamasan goes out of the window if the girl decides that she will not honor it for one reason or the other. There are instances where punters have gone back to the bar and have gotten a refund. This only happens if you are a regular customer and friendly to the mamasans. But if you had inserted your penis even one second the deal is considered fulfilled.
When I used to to visit AC long time ago regularly things were different. Yes, I have had girls leave after one shot giving one of the many excuses. But the incidence was very low. Nowadays on my travels it is strictly with normal girls. Yes, I have taken my girlfriends to AC because they have heard about it. I know it is like taking sand to the beach but I like the atmosphere, glitz, watching all the crazy things going on, nobody even watches what yo do etc. I have had many girls who live in the provinces come and stay with me and have a good time.
Nowadays the bar owners or mamasans cannot do anything. Talk about being fired from the job is nothing to worry about as far as the girl is concerned. There are numerous bars who will hire her if she is halfway decent looking without regard to her history.
Runners are very common. I am sure it has happened to all the mongers. At the same time there are girls there who give memorable experiences leading to PPD. So one has to take good with the bad.

Anyone who is not well known will find great difficulty in getting anyone involved in the bar including the mama to admit to prostitution goes on in the bar let alone discuss what position and for how long.
Blame the recent constant raids, mama arrests, owners arrests, bar closures and huge money paid to open the bars up again after being raided and we are left with why many refuse to discuss bar fines openly.

Yes, same. I do the same before walking out the door: "She agreed to stay till 10 am, and to do this / that other things. You OK to that"? Usually the mama is fine with that. However on occasion, I've had a mama put the kibosh on the whole thing right there and give me a refund.I had made all my intentions clear regarding the time that she would leave. Just had an interesting discussion with the owner of the ABC Hotel. He was explaining to me the huge cost incurred in building a sewage treatment facility--in compliance with a new ordinance--for the new wing of the hotel. He told me that prior to the enactment of the ordinance, all waste was routed to storm drains, and then discharged directly, untreated, into the river. Given that most buildings in Angeles were constricted prior to the new local law, including the three extant buildings of the hotel, they are exempt. Thus, virtually all human and animal waste continues to be discharged directly into the river.
I asked f he knew anything about the waste disposal practices in Manila. He said that as far as he knows, Makati has had strict waste treatment ordinances in place for years, so Ayala, for example, spends hundreds of thousands to dollars designing and building sewage treatment facilities for its buildings. The rest of Manila. As far as he knows, doesn't have similar laws, and thus sewage is discharged into the river.
If what he said is true, and I have no reason to doubt that it is, anyone who drinks t water here is probably running a risk.

There are instances where punters have gone back to the bar and have gotten a refund. This only happens if you are a regular customer and friendly to the mamasans. But if you had inserted your penis even one second the deal is considered fulfilled. Anyone who is not well known will find great difficulty in getting anyone involved in the bar including the mama to admit to prostitution goes on in the bar let alone discuss what position and for how long.
Blame the recent constant raids, mama arrests, owners arrests, bar closures and huge money paid to open the bars up again after being raided and we are left with why many refuse to discuss bar fines openly.

Angeles bar owners and girls absolutely refuse to set a cheaper short time rate, why should they when they can get away with charging the full long time rate while delivering short time.

You are correct, bars accepting bar fines are illegal and come under the same traffic laws.
When most bars were raided, owners, managers, mamas, girls arrested it was conducted by an undercover agent handing over marked money for a barfine, as soon as the money changed hands the bar was raided.
So yes bar owners wanted to distance themselves from trafficking so for a while they tried the pay the girl route.
But regardless of who one pays at the end of the day as soon as money changes hands the crime has been committed and because of the severe penalties involved here is where the police have the opportunity to gain big pay days.
Just last year a pinay in Cebu city was charged with trafficking for arranging girls for foreigners, guess the cops there are more honest and did not give the pay out option to the pinay.

Foreword I am not going to write long reports this time. Just a very brief summary of my trip. Those who might be interested in details, please PM me. That way, I can keep the riff raff out and play my part towards keeping the forum clean.
(03 May) Day 5 The trusted Roy picked me up at noon and got me to AC in just under 2 hours. Fortunately, there was less traffic. Checked into Lewis Grand, took a shower, shaved and left to find some pussy on Perimeter by 1500. Few bars visited, picked a 22 yo from Firepit and had a good time till 2000. After she left I went straight to After Dark to meet a regular. Brought her back for the night and let her go the next day at noon. This one rocks my world every time.

Quite a few bars have a tiered pricing structure ranging from 2400 to 3500 peso. Perimeter prices are insulated in the 1500 1800 peso range. Prices of drinks also seem to have crept by 5 10 peso. Kokomos should hand over the running of the restaurant to someone competent or else pull down the shutters. Yes, it may be sad but the truth is Koreans own the town now. I had read about reports describing runner incidents and now that one has happened with me, I implore you all to keep a watch for the signs.

Before I return to AC in August, I would just like to note some of the differences I experienced during my last visit. Visited AC three times in the past year and each visit was different. My most recent February trip was also my longest. It was for two weeks. I would have left halfway through my trip for Thailand or Hong Kong if I did not commit to spending my last week with couple of the girls I met during my previous visits. Meeting some ISG members during my first week definitely helped. I just find the AC environment very monotonous after few days, in spite of the girls. My afternoon schedule was to bar hop between mid town and perimeter bars (2 to 5 pm). I went to this bar called Lune Time besides Pony tails on 8th May, First No alcohol day as per the election schedule in Philippines. It seems that this was one of the few bars which served alcohol to foreigners. I screened for the quality around me and I was very impressed. I wanted to call one of the girls on stage who looked like a solid 9. Unfortunately before I could get the mamasan to call her she got called by another Korean chap. I missed my opportunity. There were few 8 + girls but seemed already busy with customers. I had no choice but to wait for a change which happened but I lost interest. Neither am I actually which explains why I have not been back to AC in a couple of years. But I have a couple of comments to make:
1. Fields is a fairly large place with many bars of varying quality. Comparing apples to apples, I was thinking of Daddy's Girls or the so called "Cultural Dancers" at Grand Pharaoh (Golden Nile) or whatever this bar is now called. It has been a couple of years since I was last in AC, but back then I thought the top 15% of the "Cultural Dancers" I saw were more than attractive enough to work in Sensations, Sapphire, or Baccara Go Go's in Pattaya. If you disagree that's is fine, but remember, that not all the girls in these three Pattaya bars are hot either. Again its just my opinion, but the vast majority of girls in Sensations, Sapphire, or Baccara Walking Street Go Go's are below my spec. I would estimate that at least 75% of them are not doable, therefore several of the "Cultural Dancers" would be an improvement over many of the girls working in Pat Walking Street Go Go's. For me, it's all about the top 15% no matter where I punt. The rest are unfuckable.
2. GFE: I am not lonely or delusional as your comments seem to imply. There are a thousand and one ways to punt. If you are not into the GFE and are happy getting your results, that's fine with me. The key is to look at the right tails of the normal distribution ie, at the 10% best looking girls in either countries distribution. There in the top 10%, I think you will find plenty of really gorgeous Filipina girls as beautiful and sexy as you will find in the top 10% of Thai girls. Which group you like best is up to you. As I said before, I like both.

Before I return to AC in August, I would just like to note some of the differences I experienced during my last visit. Visited AC three times in the past year and each visit was different. My most recent February trip was also my longest. It was for two weeks. I would have left halfway through my trip for Thailand or Hong Kong if I did not commit to spending my last week with couple of the girls I met during my previous visits. Meeting some ISG members during my first week definitely helped. I just find the AC environment very monotonous after few days, in spite of the girls. It's like a beach holiday where I cannot last longer than a week.

Lets get a few things sorted about Angeles.
By your own admissions in your recent trip report you saw many bars with very average line ups, you barfined a girl from such bar and she turned out to be a total starfish back at the room.
You and Illusionheart on the same trip barfined two girls from kings landing bar, you explained you both wanted long time to which the girls agreed, the girls then talked you into taking them bar hopping to their friends bars where you bought rounds of girl drinks for them and their friends (an old scam) they then talked you into buying more drinks and an expensive meal for them back at the lewis grand hotel, they then scammed you by turning LT into very st which was their plan all along even though you had treated them as princesses.
You then a few posts back in your haste to defend yourself and Angeles claimed that you had a rocking time and all girls left you very happy and did everything you had paid for.
So I can only assume that starfish girls and runners are your thing and you are quite willing to pay big to be scammed.
I like 99% of guys travel to mongering destinations to get laid by the best looking, slimest girls I can, yes I'm fussy and why should I not be, I already live full time in asias number one girl destination and am used to see pretty girls in all bars that above all are willing to fuck and not scam for a living, so the bar is set fairly high.

The reasons not to come to AC have less to do with women and more to do with living conditions. The town really is shitty but it has gotten a lot better. Overpriced trike rides and that trike mafia that's maybe my biggest gripe with AC. They don't get rid of the bajao kids which really annoys me to no end almost to the point of me not going to AC. Rainy season it floods in some areas and when its hot its fucking hot. The plumbing in all the hotels is horrible. Filipino spaghetti is the most vile food on the planet. Each bar has at least 1 girl I like sometimes that's not true but there in lies the beauty of AC so many bars and so many options. How can you argue with that? Many other mongering destinations take Cebu for instance you have maybe a cluster of 4-5 bars in AC you have like 100 times that to pick from that's is astonishing. They aren't as pushy for lady drinks as they are in Thailand which I love and one of the main reasons why AC is a breath of fresh air.
I must admit though being able to refuse ugly are worn out pinays is a skill but if you ask nicely more often than not they will give up and leave you alone. Just don't play into it that relax. Don't buy that lady drinks if you get nothing out of it and you'll have no problems if the girls see you are a pushover you'll be labeled as such and treated as such. I am lucky in that I do get regular trips to AC. Each time I always like to expand my horizons with some new experience or challenge. This next trip I am thinking of having some parameters like:
A) No girl over 25 years.
B) No mothers.
C) No bargirls, proper jobs only.
I'm not sure how successful I will be. I've put a little bit of work through the dating sites in the past week to get a list of office and call center gals.
I think a) is achievable, subject to checking on the liars. Younger pinay just have more energy.
"No mothers" Might be just to hard and result in limiting my supply. I just find the conversation and demands of a young mum sent to AC to provide is so different to that of a single woman looking out for herself.

people's experiences of this.Taking them to eat off somewhere away from fields aka marquee mall is a good start, locals don't hang out on fields much they hang out in Diamond Subdivision. If you ask them to come to fields often times their family will stand in your way but if its to diamond far less likely. Pinays are really pretty easy as long as you put up a good front. They need fuel to defend fucking you to their hordes of friends / sisters that will be up in arms. If you can go meet their families in Mabalacat / Porac / wherever that also helps. My main arguement is well, if it sucks then, as opposed to what other monger destination in the Phils or wherever for that matter in 2016?
When I first started posting in this forum. I had the same opinion about Makati, for entirely different reasons, that it sucked as a monger destination. I posted my reservations then had an incredible, to me, push back from those who thought Makati was great and some even who professed it to be a future retirement destination. I'm thinking where were the born and raised? Kowloon City? One even recounted a night he spent in some crazily overpriced hotel at P16,000 per night and he had no AC. I could have continued to rail as you do that the place is a horrible, by comparison, monger place but then I realized that those who like that place have different, circumstances, financial considerations, creature comfort necessities, business considerations etc etc than me. But rather than continue to post there and antagonize them I just stopped posting.
The guys who love Makati, are there for mostly business reasons or have far more disposable income than me. They usually have business expense accounts to cover thier daily needs, or just alot of money to burn apparently. They didn't mind paying western prices for women, hotels escorts, travel, food etc. It simply for a multitude of reasons, was not compatible with my preferences so rather than fight those that enjoy it, I stopped posting as it was not constructive. "Stop liking a place you enjoy" is a silly and shitty punch bowl turd dropping arguement frankly.
So AC is for guys on a budget mostly, on thier own dime. Sure there is ABC, Lewis Grand and the newer luxury hotels but the vast majority of mongers are paying less than 2500 per night and many many more, like me, in the 1000-1500 peso range. Many of us who like it are hopelessly Unilingually english speakers. I read with amusement a recent AC poster who waxed eloquiently about all of the exotic destinations of asia we were all missing and in particular a place in China, where the girls legs never ended. Not sure why that was posted in the Phils forum. Well most of us AC denizens personally do not have the time, language skills, connections, overall wherewithal to get to, connect, arrive and thrive in such places. Language skills and personal and professional connections by a guy are not universally transferrable to every reader.
AC is not the best part of the Phils IMO I am not arguing that. Personally I have spent more of my travels in the provinces over the years than AC. But if you want to show up, with zero prep work, language skills limited to English, spend the minimal amount of money in travel food and accomodations, and spend the least $$ on pussy. Maybe not as little as 20,15, 5 or 2 years ago. But less than any place but where? Are the girls statuesque and stunners and classical 9 or 10's? Hell they never were. I doubt Dutierte has time to bother about AC, but the police and mayor will be desperate to show Dutierte that they justify their jobs. Expect some showmanship from the local authority. With their awful track records, the police & mayor of AC must be running scared. I suspect all the scammers at NAIA airport are probably shitting in their pants.Hopefully Dutierte will shake things up in the rest of the country just like he did in Davao city.
I have to say though, doing it in one small town is different to the whole country.

Why choose Angeles city.

Your insistance that the girls are not as fit and trim as they used to be is off base. Fact is they never were. The AC bargirl fitness program has always been mostly based on malnourishment and youth as it is in 90% of the phils. That hasnt changed since I started going there, its the same in the provinces. Fact is most of us middle aged mongers now are facing more competition for the girls time and interest than we had in the past. May 3 (Day 5: Tuesday)
Thanks one again to Goodenough for sharing this contact earlier. I had booked taxi with Roy from Manila to AC for the third time. Roy was busy so he sent another driver. Charges were same as last time I. E. 2700 pesos one way. As expected car was on time at the Hotel. Clean, new Toyota Altis car with comfortable seats. It was a smooth traffic free ride to Lewis Grand Hotel (LGH) in Angeles, approx. 2. 15 hours end to end. The drive was fast and the driver was careful and in control the entire time.
Checked into LGH and settled in. I was given a room on the Third floor and there was a full-fledged office which has opened up in the hall opposite to the rooms. It was kind of disturbing and invading privacy as lot of people were visiting throughout the day. I could see cops and armed bodyguards stationed on the floor. Felt like I had rented a room in one of the Government office building. Thought I would later approach the front desk and get room changed to a different floor.
Nonetheless I headed out to perimeter road. Firepit was the first bar and it was well stocked at 3 pm. Most of the girls were still coming in. Spotted one girl who was smiling. I have already reported on this gem earlier. Unfortunately I had my next two days planned hence was not going to make a return visit this trip. Repeating for the sake of continuity.
I went to this bar called Lune Time besides Pony tails on 8th May, First No alcohol day as per the election schedule in Philippines. Once you enter the first thing is the size and layout of the bar which overwhelms you. Slightly bigger then Pony tails and a better layout. There were about 5 or 6 girls on stage. I settled down and got myself a Red Bull. Liked and asked mamasan to call one slim gazelle from stage. She came and sat down beside me. Got her a Mango juice. After approx. 15 minutes they had a show wherein a new set of 10 to 12 girls walked on stage. Some of these girls were really stunners. I am very choosy when it comes to picking girls but I could see my self going for at least 4 out of the lot. I indicated to the mamasan which girl I wanted and she went and told her. A small signboard indicates the name of the bar which is a small walk inside from the main street. It was a quiet night inside with 2 or 3 guests and few girls sitting on the sofa. There were 2 girls on stage. I could sense the atmos in the bar due to no alcohol being served to the girls. As I settled I could order a beer for myself. It seems that this was one of the few bars which served alcohol to foreigners. I screened for the quality around me and I was very impressed. I wanted to call one of the girls on stage who looked like a solid 9. Unfortunately before I could get the mamasan to call her she got called by another Korean chap. I missed my opportunity. There were few 8 + girls but seemed already busy with customers. I had no choice but to wait for a change which happened but I lost interest. Just got into AC last night / Sunday night after spending a week in Manila. Had a great time in Manila where the word "no" or "menstruation" does not exist. While I spent the bulk of my last trip in Thailand (BKK / Pattaya) suffering through the aggressive bars, spoiled bar girls w / too many rules, etc. I enjoyed every night in AC and Makati w ladies who wanted to enjoy their time w / this monger. Only one time did my playmates want to leave ASAP and those were FLs that approached me on Burgos. I paid them 2000 p each and they were off the charts good, real pretty FLs on Burgos St. That's a great place to have fun too, Burgos St.
Next trip I will skip Thailand and focus on AC because it is just perfect for the game I like to play.

I agree with your comparison of the sweetness of the girls and the locals in The Phils versus Thailand. I find both cultures to have a certain shutdown feature, when talking details, but I find Thais to be indirect and disingenuous at a rate that I have never seen before. I slowed every thing way down, spoke really slowly, and smiled and this only helped a little. I have found to be "work" asking the most simple questions to Thais. They avoid or give answers that don't match the questions. Lots more good English in The Phils as well.
I found Manila and Angeles to be top notch, albeit in different ways and for different reasons. From a pure mongering perspective, Angeles is better due to small area and easy access compared to Manila which is large city with lots of traffic. For you older guys, Angeles City is super comfortable environment to be around young women. From the restaurants surrounding the main drag to breakfast in the lobby of your hotel, Angeles is a comfortable spot for you older guys.
Currently, I am in Pattaya for my third and final night. The layers of contempt and crap I find intolerable. Got a massage and handjob today and that was it for my 3 days (it was great though, it really was). No sex in Pattaya for me. I have only passed on sex in one other PFP destination and that was Cartagena, Colombia.
I need the warmth of the local people when I travel. I can see why some guys like it Thailand though. The massage women alone could pamper you not to mention the circus that surrounds it. Like you, this place is not for me and I will not return. Off to Shanghai tomorrow. I am sure this World class city is going to seem great compared to POS Pattaya.
Day 3.
Just outside walking street there is a string of bars, Brown Sugar etc, spotted a killer bod in New Orange and called her Plan B which never materialized after I ended up in Club Asia after spotting a real hottie. After a drink I spotted another girl with a real nice face, but body shows signs of motherhood which reduced the chance of LT, and saw a real cutie with a big rack on a small frame and 3 more girls close to each other I would easily take home. After nearly an hour of deliberation, some customers came in did me a favor and bought drinks for 2 of the hotties. This meant I was left with the one I was really eyeing, plus they were friendly among themselves which meant I did not have to be pestered with buying drinks for her friends. Day 4.

Day 5.
My last day is usually set aside for the best girl of my previous days. I rarely go for a new girl in case she turns out bad and I end up regretting (until my next visit) that I wasted my last precious day.

I think you will find that many Angeles bars offer different arrangements for leaving with a girl.
Some bars have the 10 lady drinks rule, other bars say deal with the girl direct and pay the girl back at your room.
It is all designed to try to distance the bars from being seen to offer prostitution and running the risk of getting raided for such.
In reality payment method changes nothing in the eyes of the law, and it sure as hell does not protect the punter.

It seemed as though you never paid for the sex. But in reality, I did not consume any of the 10 drinks that I paid for. Of course, the girl consumed the drink for which I paid an additional Peso 300. I think you're full of shit. Prove me wrong. I admit I haven't been to all the barsA few years ago when the scare happened, the bars went to a variety of payment methods. I got a girl from the bar next to Butterfly Rock (girl posted in the pg, can't remember the bar's name), and when I asked the girl (and the waitress) the barfine amount, they cringed and said they had no barfine. "Just you give to the girl tomorrow. Hoping you give 1600". The girl was lovely, but she refused to leave the bar with me. "You meet me on Fields five minutes". I walked out to Fields and a few minutes later she joined me, curled her fingers in mine, and off we went for an evening & morning pop. Tossed her 1600 in the morning and made a deal with her to return the following day at noon for a ST (and she did). No money was given to the bar other than my p80 payment for a bottle of water. It was 2 weeks prior to father Cobb was claiming there were no more barfines in AC. The bars have since gone back to barfining, but the procedure can be different in each bar.

Almost like the bigger cities are copying the Phukets model. Treat every guy like a dumb tourist and squeeze every baht you can out of them while giving almost nothing back. The Crazy House (in BKK) is ground zero for this kind of hustle.
I spent 10 days in Pattaya (mid April) and I tend to focus on gogo girls. A casual analysis would be a third of the time I receive a quality performance, a third of the time they were lousy fucks and the other third they just wouldn't perform. My mo is I prime these women up (same as in BKK) W / bar hop, food, shisha pipe (which most like and I find it to be an aphrodisiac) and they just tire out or change their minds.

Never seen this policy. Which bar has this policy right now?Greenbud, let me jump to Napa's defence here for a minute. Angelwitch has always maintained this "deal with the girl" MO for years now. Another one where I had this experience a couple of years ago was Eruption (mid town).

Started the day late. Entered first Club Atlantis at may be 6 PM. Could not find any girl of my taste. Proceeded to Pony Tails, Angle Witch and Las Vegas in that order for the next two hours but without success.
Finally went to Crystal Palace. Found real cuties, at least 3 of them by turns. Identified the first one and asked mamasan to call her for a drink. When I asked her to come, I was surprised to be told that she is on her men.

I would like to nominate as a Report of Distinction. Any seconders?Those are very few and very far between these days. Not a lot of valuable info, but as was previously stated, a decent recreation of his night. Any other monger would have a totally different experience based on many other factors.
I first visited AC in 2006 or 2007. In the last 3-4 years, I have been going to AC 3-4 times a year, each time for about a week. I distinctly remembered the 'No Barfine' days when I had to purchase a bottle. I usually took it and gave to the night security guard of my hotel. In the last 2-3 years, about half the time, I was told to negotiate with the girl directly. Then I would say about 60% of the time, I paid the girl in the morning when she's leaving. I only do LT because I like to cuddle with a girl in my arms when I sleep. That's almost as important as the boom boom.
Reading the reports here, I consider myself very lucky to only have one runner in the last 3 years. Actually I was glad she ran as she was a bad performer anyway. I suspect that most of the girls, and especially the Mamasans and waitresses, remember the regulars. So if you have never given trouble, have good manners and tip properly, you are not perceived as a threat, I. E. You are reliable. So if you intend to visit AC regularly, be nice to everyone, the bars, the hotel staff, the security guards and bouncers.
I don't like to buy drinks for waitresses and mamasans. I would whisper in their ears asking them if they prefer a drink or a good tip. They always said 'tip'. I would give 100 p to 300 p depending on their service and attitude. It's only US $2-$6, which is nothing to me but would mean them paying their rent or buying food.
I also had only one girl telling me she's on mens. She even offered to let me look. I said no thanks, I trust you.
BTW, I always wear a polo shirt and Columbia long pants, a nice cologne, and my hair combed. I hope to continue to have good luck in AC.

I can recommend scorebirds hotel. It is a cheaper option to Wild Orchid or ABC. It has a nice pool, and has a pool party each Saturday. The only issue was the noise at night. It is over the wall from Hi Society, and the dance music is pumping all night.

FM.Maybe your laptop / ISP provider is set to "children viewing only" mode LOL. Can't see any other reason as ISG is only needing proxies in regions such as the Middle East etc where such naughty habits are ever practiced and by viewing such the locals would go crazy and stop shagging the camels!

If you stay in central tower get a room on high floor noise is not too bad I never have problem going to sleepy, I don't go to sleep until 3 am anyway I stay at score bird once will never go back many better options near by.

A standard room at Wild Orchid or ABC is to be 3 x's or more than that. If you hop in town for the pool party, held at scorebirds, then staying there is great. You don't have to pay for the pool party, and can hop out of your room and are there. I just wish they allowed you to take a girl out of the pool party to your room. But you need to go back to the club they work at and barfine them.

FM.I have used it in PHIL and I am in VN a lot and have no problem. You can try to download the extension "hola" which allows you to select the country you surf from (for example if you are in USA, you can set your country to France if you care to do that). Its free for chrome.

Maybe I'm up to my tenth trip to AC in the past fours years. There is always so much to see and learn. For me, my time there has changed. Not so much from the city changing but from what I want.
I've started staying further off Walking Street and Closer to New York St. Found an apartment, more social with neighbours etc.
This has also changed my available wechat and barfines. Actually, in two weeks in AC this trip I did not pay any barfine.
Things to consider.
Some of my contacts from four years ago have kept in contact with me. Now they are reaching 30 I think they are getting a different attitude.
Highlights of the trip:
