It's my understanding that the new construction between Phillies and Atlantis is an ABC venture. Penthouse is on Santos, not Raymond. BTW, very good online AC maps at Wayne's AC map.Yes, it is owned by the ABC owner. It is to have a nightclub to rival Hi So. Will open in March or April.
I started talking to a guy at breakfast and come to find out he is a partial owner of many clubs in AC. I gave him some advice:
1) use his power to get some flights from Tapei and Hong Kong and Seoule etc cheap enough so guys will fly into Clark instead of Manila. They will then spend more time, if not all their time, in AC.
2) find something for guys to do during the day. BJ bars were good for a quckie BJ during the day. But they are mostly gone. And most don't do in-house BJ's so it is not possible to just stop in for a blow. I tried to get a massage during the day at one of the Fields ave massage shops and won't do that again. One girl tried to rip me off, and at another shop they showed me to a room, and made me wait in there for 10 minutes, so I just left. People say Perimeter Road bars are good during the day, but I walked down there on a Saturday at 3 pm or so and it was a graveyard.

For a while it was known as the Starbucks building.

GE.I have never been to High Society as the loud music and smoke do not appeal to me along with the late hours. Girls I know have gone there with 5-6 of their friends to have a party or celebration. I would think FL are probably 2-3 girls together and would give you the look if they are working.

Having myself first landed in Clark in 1970, and having lived and traveled around Asia off and on for five decades, have never suffered for lack of female companionship. Am not blessed with irresistible pheromones, am not young any more, am "a bit" overweight and not particularly handsome or studly. No problem.
At the beginning, we tend just to be thrilled with the Filipinas who are attracted by our "Peso-nality". Sooner or later, however, we become aware that there are plenty of willing women all around us, everywhere. They want, and can get, men who are both young and well heeled. OK, maybe they'll go for guys up to age 40 or so, but make no mistake: there is an age cutoff. I've talked to some of these super hotties and they're totally up front about it. They want both money but also a guy who they find attractive. They can get it, so they do.
To me, this is a non-issue. I passed their sell-by date some years ago, but I've never been much interested in their type. Give me a nice youngish woman with a pleasant personality and a decent firm body and I'm happy. In fact I'm happier with her than I would be with some drop-dead eye-candy babe. That's the beauty of AC, even now. Everyone, eventually, can pretty much find what they're looking for.

I'm told by a close friend staying at ABC, that the new club on top of the new tower is now packed with FLs starting at about midnight. Of course, this was during a weekend and it may not hold true to all nights, but his perception is that the new club (Aqua something) is now the place to be.

The only new bar / club / cabbana area that the Abc hotel has is the Aqua Beach Club.
As of my very recent report where I spent new years eve here it is definitely not geared or operated towards a freelancer club at all.
Yes last weekend was indeed busy there because they had guest DJ, S (DJ denial and DJ herb man) invites had gone out to well healed business owners, friends. Family.
A group of girls in my management team had been given tickets and attended with their respective husbands / boyfriends (pinoy) I too popped my head in for a while.
What I can tell you is that I saw zero working girls, most guests were sitting in their own groups drinking bottles of vodka with mixers.
I can only think that your contact who told you the club is full of freelancers thought so because he saw pinays and as usual all pinays in some guys mind must be prostitutes.
Now that we got that out of the way, here is some news that if true will throw a very big spanner in the Angeles city mongering world.
It has come to my attention from very reliable sources that over the last several days Angeles city police have been targeting foreigners for frisks while they are enjoying a beer in the ac bars, the police are using the excuse of looking for drugs, it has also been reported that not satisfied with that the police have been taking photos of said foreigners in the bar.
Champagne bar was mentioned as well as other bars by several people, also a quick online search revealed Angeles city sites / bloggers reporting the same. Worrying times if true IMHO.

The friend who told me this is a long-time visitor to Angeles, and spends months every year here. He had no problem at all picking up a young lady at that venue, and I'm very sure he can distinguish between those who are on the game and those who are not. Of course, I wasn't there and so can't base my conclusion on anything other than what he told me, but I do take his word for it. He said that the FLs were thronging the place both Friday and Saturday nights last week.

Don't mention Lewis Yakich. It might be detrimental to your health.Used to see Lewis and his brothers when staying frequently at the Lewis Grand years ago. Lewis was a bit short and slender, and seemed very pleasant and modest. Think his dad used to hang out at the V.
Always wondered how he got the capital to construct and operate what was at the time the grandest hotel in Angeles (Balibago).

Time will tell what exactly the police are up too and what their aim is.If the police are building a mongering database from random photographs of mongers in AC bars, they would need to make mongers present their passports at the time the photo is taken otherwise it is pointless exercise. A database with a bunch of photos of unidentified mongers sitting at a bar will not be of much use to anyone without adding who, what, where, when, and why. Without this additional information the database will not be very searchable.
Patronizing bars is not a crime in AC, so simply placing a guy at a bar does not make him a criminal. If entering a bar becomes a crime that would mean the existence of the bar is itself illegal. All the bars would go away and so would the mongers, no need for elaborate cloak and dagger operations to photograph random mongers and catalogue them in a database with facial recognition software and data mining tools.

December 31: (Day 7: Saturday).
The ride from subic was pretty short and I reached hotel by 1 am. I was booked at Lewis Grand Hotel for 5 nights. The front desk girl refused to provide me early check in and I didn't want to plead with her either. I waited in the bar and had 2 SML from the welcome drink coupons provided by the front desk girl. Eventually checked in around 2. 15 pm and messaged my regular girl "N" to come over. I was going to be spending my new year's evening with her. She eventually reached after an hour, Pinay standard time I guess. We went out for some food to Tequila Reef. Picked up some alcohol for her and some munchies on the way. Went bar hopping in the evening to Centauro, Club RA, and few more. Field Street was pretty crowded and so were the bars. Back to hotel we spend the New Year's drinking and eating in the balcony watching fire crackers light up the sky at the stroke of 12 am. We had a good night but somehow I could feel that the wear and tear and had undergone seemed pretty high compared to my earlier visits. Damage was done to her body. With so many options and variety I was sure that this would be our only night in this trip. And left around 2 pm after some food and new year gifts I had brought her.
Overall experience: 7/10.
January 1: (Day 8: Sunday).
I went to Fields around 8 pm. Walked into few bars but seemed empty. Many girls seemed to have taken day off. Not want to peek into more bars I walked out towards the bar outside fields. Found a girl to my liking in Midnight Rambler (Insomnia previously). "I" was 24 year old and met all my expectations. She was pretty good in bed and met my expectations. 2 pops and 200 peso tip for her when she left at 10 in the morning.
Overall experience: 7/10.
January 2: (Day 9: Monday).
Day started with visit to Night moves at 2 pm. People looking to buy some sex stimulants should check the CR room for lead and prices. Overall very slow. Peeked into Candy, Det 5, XX, etc but found nothing to my fancy. Eventually ended up in Firepit. Place was full of women. Didn't take much time to find one as per my liking. BF directly to her. Payment process has changed after the raids.
"J" was a 22 year old. She seemed to have recently joined firepit crew. Though she was available till 6 pm I did not mind. We had good fun on the bed. Except for average BJ she was amazing in everything else. I was definitely going to repeat her. 1800 peso was indeed a decent amount for this girl. 200 tip and she went with a big smile at 6. 30 pm.

I liked her attitude and body hence BF her for 3000 peso. We went bar hopping to Salambo, Equs, Club Asia, etc. K was dancing and drinking in each bar, having good fun with other girls as well. Needless to say they all are from Samar. Drinks were flowing in each bar we went.
We eventually hit High Society. Bouncers ripped me each for 50 pesos being New Year tip. Just wouldn't let me enter. Pretty crowded and lots of picking. Had 1 beer each and decided to leave. Got back to hotel pretty drunk and on the bed after a quick shower. She did have some baby damage on the stomach but rest was all fine. I had a good time with her. Girls were less in quantity compared to my April visit but ample choice available. Never went back without finding anyone to my liking.
Koreans were all around and in droves but it did not impact my game or mood in any bar. Their target girls seemed to be pretty different than the ones I looked for.
The younger ones especially the 18 to 20 year old were the ones picked by Koreans and early. These girls also seem to prefer ST because I checked with few during bar hopping with my girls and none were keen for LT.
I did not have any runners in AC this trip. All were willing to stay the time discussed.
Ponytail was really slow and empty whenever I visited. So was Lune time, Eruption etc. The mid perimeter road did not offer much in terms of girls or choice this trip. Neither did the Nightmoves to Candy set of bars. Didn't venture further then Firepit.

If the police are building a mongering database from random photographs of mongers in AC bars, they would need to make mongers present their passports at the time the photo is taken otherwise it is pointless exercise. A database with a bunch of photos of unidentified mongers sitting at a bar will not be of much use to anyone without adding who, what, where, when, and why. Without this additional information the database will not be very searchable.
Patronizing bars is not a crime in AC, so simply placing a guy at a bar does not make him a criminal. If entering a bar becomes a crime that would mean the existence of the bar is itself illegal. Hi Vittu, why not get the 18 year old Nurse to marry you and live in Subic if that's what you want? Actually if she is a RN she will be a little older 22 or 23. My trip last month, I found BJ bars near the Perimeter bars. Walking west from Candy bar on Don Juico, they're on the second street, on the corner of Garfield's Last Stand Bar. There is signage for the Sunlight Lodge and Boomerang Hotel at this corner. Go down that street, the BJ bars are on your left. There will be someone out front to guide you in. No signage, but they're called Niftys, next door to it is Rio. Nifty's girls during my visit were raunchier. I was told they have a bed upstairs. Upon entering, I was beset by two ladies. I had not bought them drinks, yet their hands were down my shorts. Shy, these ladies were Not. They were trying to convince me to take two of them upstairs. I managed to resist because I found the Rio girls next door to be more attractive on my first visit. (Nifty's had few ladies at that time.).
During a prior visit, I took a Rio babe upstairs for a session. If you've been to Rio de Janeiro's Villa Mimosa or Tijuana back streets, the facilities here are a step down: No bed, no functioning toilet. Only a ragged couch, a wooden bench and a dirty padding for the bench on the floor. Nothing for you to wash with before and after. Thank God the AC worked. There are lockers here for the ladies also. After meeting Philippinas for the first time of my life in Hong Kong (see report) I felt that I had made a good choice in choosing Philippines over Thailand this year. My Cebu Pacific flight from Hong Kong arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule at Clark and the arranged hotel pickup was there to meet me. I checked in to my hotel at Perimeter, got the minibar emptied and unpacked. I did a supply run to the Ministop at Fields Avenue (150 pesos for return trip on trike) and restocked the fridge. After a late lunch around 4 pm I walked to Firepit.

The setup is nice: entrance is through a terraced drinking area to the bar with a pool table and finally the go-go at the back of the establishment. I had a drink in the bar, chatted with couple of waitresses / hostesses and took note of some young-looking cute spinners working there. No stunners but definitely couple of doable ones. There was no pressure to buy drinks to the waitresses, although I got asked if I wanted another drink. I saw a hot girl walk into the bar and to the go-go in street clothes and immediately a guy sitting near me followed her to the back. In about five minutes they returned together, the girl now dressed in dancing uniform (basically shorts and a flashy shirt). They talked for a while and the girl went to change into street clothes again. I figured that with her looks she is probably doing ST only.

This forum has so many posts about the decline of this city that I actually decided to skip AC and head for Bkk and Pattaya instead despite having a booked and paid flight. Then BD posted on the Travel announcements section and PMd me with some advice and gave a good pep talk. And now, as Garrison Keillor used to say, I am happy to be here.
Manila and Cebu sure are now on my bucket list.Though I have never been to AC, it is sad to hear you say something like that. You are thinking about going to Pattaya? I was there in early December and had the time of my life. Yet, there are constant naysayers on the Pattaya forum who go on about the city's decline. I didn't notice any such thing since I had never been there. Had I listened to all the posters bitching about Pattaya I would have missed a great adventure. If you read the forums in regards to any of these great mongering destinations, you will always read a lot of bitching from jaded mongers who will tell you the place has gone downhill. Maybe Pattaya / AC / Sosua are not what exactly as some people remember them, but bear in mind that is their problem. Not yours. If you keep going to the same place over and over expecting the same thrill you are going to get disappointed sooner or later. Don't let others issues trip up your plans. And if you do visit Pattaya, be ready for a great time. But, I wouldn't want to suggest you miss out on your own adventure to a place that I am curious about.

After three days on the road and six encounters with eight ladies I wondered if I had much energy left. There was always on guy on the board there, that no matter what anyone reported, would always reply with what shit it was and how nothing matched even remotely the value for dollar, friendliness, and quality of whenever he moved there. I am planning a minimum of 10 days to two weeks. I don't like to rush, plus I would most certainly want to spend additional time in AC and Subic. I would also naturally like to include Aliminos and possibly Masinloc in the trip if I could manage a few extra days. I will probably make the trip later this year or early the next year. Reality finally caught up with me on Sunday.
Las Vegas Massage.
Having spent so much energy during past two nights keeping up with ladies so well in touch with their needs, I went looking for a massage shop. I still had couple of hours left before meeting up with the spinner I had met on my first day in Angeles. She had declined the bar fine (mens) but was willing to spend her day off with me. I walked down the Perimeter road to Las Vegas Massage. I did not even look at the price list, just blurted out my need for a massage and was led inside. Two ladies showed me to a bed separated from others by a curtain. They offered a four-hand massage that, they said, I would enjoy very much. I asked for a regular massage with no hanky-panky or happy endings. Disappointed, the girls left and I undressed myself. The oil massage was mediocre at best and the massage girl, who had a pretty face and a nice smile, kept teasing my groin region with occasional squeezes and tickles. Not to encourage her, I fought to show any reaction, as I did not want to spend myself there and then. Finally, as she grabbed my balls, I politely took hold of her hand and promised a good tip if she would stop her teasing. The rest of the massage was much more enjoyable and relaxing. I paid her 300 pesos and a 100 peso tip. She said if I would come back the next day, she would offer me a lot more than a hand job. Whatever that is, I will leave for others to find out.
Go-go girl on her day off.
I went to the hotel, took a shower and waited for the 23-year old to show up. Five minutes before the set time I got a message that she was now taking a shower. I figured I would have time for a much needed nap. She showed up eventually and at that point I made couple of newbie mistakes:
1. I did not ask if she still was on her mens (if she ever was).
2. I did not ask how long she could stay.
3. I took her to the mall instead of taking her to my room.
She was sweet, holding my hand, hugging, teasing, even in the public view of everyone at the mall. I felt a bit embarrassed as I clearly was more than twice her age and three times her weight. I got hit with typical questions probing my suitability as a boy friend / sponsor. My answers were evasive and I gave her not much hope. During the dinner I asked if she would come to visit my hotel and how long she could stay. One more hour, was the reply, as she had to spend time with her family. She was vague about whether she would be working the next day. She also brought up my weight and suggested diet and exercise, all this while constantly texting with her friend / husband / customer. I also got a pretty good rundown of all the hotels she had been to in Angeles. I walked her to her jeepney and promised to be in touch.
Back at the hotel, I pondered my options. As a fellow mongerer I texted was busy with other plans I hopped into a trike and asked the driver to take me to the Walking Street. As the rain fell and I watched the legs of all the passersby along the street (that is what you mostly see sitting in a trike) I suddenly felt tired and decided to call it a night. I requested the driver to turn around and take me back. As we were almost at the end of the journey he said that it would be another 100 pesos. I did not have the energy to argue. Back at the hotel I considered the offer I had received from the massage lady but decided to save my precious offerings to someone more to my liking.
I slept like a baby for 12 hours.
Though this isn't quite a trip report, I'm hoping that my opinions end up helping newbies decide whether they want to come to AC and what to do while here. I'll break it down by topics.
1. Is it worth my time coming to AC?
This obviously depends on where you're from and what you're trying to do. A little bit of background: I live in the west coast USA. I have a full time corporate job with not a lot of vacation days, so I don't expect to travel much to AC throughout my life. It also takes 17 hours to get here, and that would be longer if you're on the east coast. Given how long it takes for me to come, I decided to stay in AC for 2 weeks. Although I already learned from my first trip that after day 4, it gets pretty boring, I still couldn't bring myself to come for only 4 or 5 days at a cost of having to spend 2 days on the plane. In my opinion, if you're a casual hobbyist traveling from North America, your best option is to make AC a side trip on a tour of East / SE Asia. Simply put, 4 days and less isn't worth the travel directly from NA and anything longer leaves you with very little to do. Even the nights can be a little monotonous because the girls have very limited English skills and your conversations with them will get repetitive real quick.
I found the people who enjoyed AC the most are, first, those who make this place a side trip from visiting Pattaya or wherever else in Asia, and second, those who make a living here or come here frequently. If a person is in the second category, the AC entertainment district is a great place to relax and have fun once a week or two and that probably won't get old. Or they can spend time developing more intimate relationships with working and non-working girls. BD is someone who falls into the second category. He generously showed me how he handles his contacts and told me about how his meetings with his girls generally go. I feel that the casual tourist experience is far less fulfilling than what he gets to enjoy.
In summary, as a casual hobbyist from North America, my 2 trips have shown me that it's not worth it to come to Asia just for Angeles City.
2. WeChat.
In my first trip I found that I enjoyed the freelancer experience more than the bars, which is why I wanted to try WeChat's People Nearby function as a means of finding FLs. If you're going this route, I have a couple of tips.
A) put up a real photo of yourself on WeChat. I had an avatar on my WeChat profile for the first few days and I found a lot of girls weren't responding back. I know now that they're just trying to avoid the Filipino guys who are also contacting them this way.
B) unless you're absolutely sure, ask if the girl is actually a ladyboy. There are tons of ladyboys on WeChat and while some are pretty obvious, a lot of them have pictures that look very feminine. But usually if the "girl" doesn't show a picture of her cleavage in her moments, it's likely a dude.
C) meet the girls in the hotel lobby first before bringing them up. I've had an experience where the a girl looked fine online, but when I saw her in person, it became clear that she took all her photos at an angle to hide her chubby face and body. It took a call to hotel security and 500 p to get her to go away.
D) many girls start by charging 3 k for ST but you can negotiate that down. Some won't budge, but that's their problem. I guess enough newbies are willing to pay those fees. I wouldn't pay more than 2 k since you can find plenty of takers in HiSo and walking street for 1.5-2 k.
E) don't be shy about what you want on WeChat. In my greeting I just ask "Hi are you a working girl. " This is because some girls are not doing P4P, so if you're just trying to find a girl for money, you can avoid wasting time talking with the non WGs. Obviously if you want to charm up some non-WGs, you can just greet them normally. For me I just didn't have the time to waste on non-productive leads.
Overall I found WeChat to be an OK source of girls but not the best. On average the girls are slightly older and worse looking than the ones you find in HiSo or walking around the street. If the girl ends up looking different from her photos or refuses the "normal" FL rates, it can be a waste of time as well.
3. Street girls.
FLs are my preferred source of action in AC as I mentioned in my report from a year ago. My preferred FLs are the ones on walking street around 10 pm-2 am. Since you're face to face with these girls you get a good look at their face and body, which is a lot better than looking at photos on WeChat. Also you won't have to go through the bullshit of calling down a girl, chatting her up, buying her a drink and later finding out you guys have no chemistry or she simply doesn't want to barfine. I had this experience several times on my first trip and it also happened to 2 punter friends who I barhopped with this time (thankfully I wasted my time only once as I'll explain later). The street girls are there to make money. That means they'll pretty much take anyone who's interested, and the girls are in no way worse looking and plenty good in bed as any girl in a bar (or often better). If you look at it from that angle, even High Society is a bit worse because some of the HiSo girls aren't there to go home with guys. A lot of them are also not professional hookers, so sometimes you get to experience a normal Filipina or one who's relatively new to the trade. One girl I met told me she hadn't had sex in 2 years and came here from Tarlac just so she can make exactly 2500 to pay off her rent. I met her twice for 3 k.
I also met WGs at super random places like the outdoor clothes market near the Ministop and another near a shoe store.
4. HiSo.
HiSo somehow wasn't as productive this time around as it was last time. The times I went there I felt the guy to girl ratio was higher than before and a lot of girls were just to dance and have fun. I'm sure if you worked on them for an hour or so, some of them might go back with you. I think the best time to go is a bit after 2 am since the girls who go in there to have fun before finding a customer are at the "find a customer" stage by 2:30 or so. If you like dancing with hot girls, then go between 1 and 2, which can also be pretty fun if you're in the mood. If you're looking to talk to or dance with a girl on the dance floor though, it helps to go with a friend to break up pairs who are dancing with each other. Then you can chat them up individually. The girls, who usually do come in pairs or more, don't like to abandon their friends. I did have one rejection and one mediocre experience at HiSo where I didn't notice the belly on girl before I took her back. She had a baby pocket and a really loose pussy, which wasn't enjoyable at all.
5. Massage girls.
This was another surprisingly good source of girls on this trip. On my first trip I noticed the massage girls handing out business cards and I never took one because I wasn't interested in a regular massage. But from my hotel to walking street, I kept walking by a group of young pretty girls after 8 pm and I just decided what the heck and asked them what they're doing. Then we got to the subject of whether they go to customers hotels for full service, and not so surprisingly, some of them said yes. Not all of them will do it though, but if you're interested in a hottie, just ask. But ask a bit discreetly because some of them are embarrassed to say it in front of their coworkers. I've had 2 girls this way and got a third one's number but didn't call her.
6. Bar interviews.
In my report from last year I went over my bar interview method which is intended to avoid the cases where the girl cannot or does not barfine. I refined it a little more this time around which helped to reduce failures to just one (because I forgot to use it). It's not rocket science, but a lot of newbies when they first come, myself included, are pressured to buying drinks for themselves and for the girl before finding out whether they'll get anything from the bar. Or they go for whatever hot girl they see without first judging her interest. Now what I do is I just go in, get up close to the girls where you can see them and they can interact with you, ideally in front of a girl you like. If they come and grab you or play with you, then you know they're interested. If there are no interesting girls, just leave. By this time a waitress is probably asking you whether you want a drink. Tell her to give you a minute. If you're in a big show bar like Atlantis, you kinda skip these steps and just pick a girl to come to your table. Otherwise, in a smaller bar, now is the time to get the girl to sit down next to you. After a few initial questions, just ask, "can you barfine today". If she's on men's or simply not interested, you'll know without having to pay for anything. The girl knows whether she'll go with you or not within the first 20 seconds of seeing you so just get that out of the way. After that, do whatever, buy her and yourself a drink, have a conversation, play with her ass, etc. If you're cheap, when the waitress asks if you want to buy the girl a drink, say "single". Otherwise it's a DLD for sure. I don't think they mind a whole lot tbh. I barfined 5 times this trip, intentionally trying to not rely on them too much, but they can be enjoyable as well, especially if you learn to avoid the bad apples.

Just a couple of comments if I may.
Have to fully agree that Angeles city is best seen as part of an Asian multiple destination trip and agree that to fly half way around the world just for Angeles would leave most punters disappointed and bored after just a couple of days.
The problem with trying to barfine ac girls without buying drinks is problematic at best, the whole bar scene has been devised in such a way that most are forced into buying at least 1 drink if one wants to talk to a girl, I would also say that most attractive in demand girls will be reluctant to leave with a guy who looks like a cheap charlie and won't spend on at least 1 drink for her, she will be thinking if he won't buy a drink he is probably not going to tip after sex either.
The bigger bars on fields avenue I really cannot see how one can get to speak to a girl without buying a drink to do so, the reason for this is the girls are far from the punters on stage, to get a girls attention a waitress needs to point a laser at the girl to come down, the waitress is standing right next to punter so as soon as the girl arrives the first thing the waitress says is this gentleman wants to buy you a drink, what drink do you want, followed by sir what can I get you to drink, it is designed specifically that way to only enable guys to speak to girls if one is willing to spend a little, refuse to buy a drink and for most girls a double lady drink and she will immediate return to the stage, no ifs or buts, most bars have very few attractive girls, these girls are in extremely high demand, many guys are willing to buy them many drinks many without even asking to barfine them (Koreans) why would a girl waste her time sitting with guys that won't buy drinks when many other are willing to buy many drinks.
The second problem is that many girls can promise the world to a punter in the bar, get him to relax and start to enjoy, buy a few drinks for his intended, when the time comes to leave together the girl simply says I go change OK, only to come back few minutes later with a sad face and say, sorry honey, I just start my period, I see blood when I go get changed, sorry, maybe another time, the girl may or may not be on her period, many Angeles girls claim to have their period for the whole time they work in Angeles allowing them to earn very well from high commissions from lady drinks bought by punters she has no intentions of leaving with.
I always invest in just the 1 drink for the girl, many times they have excuses, on occasion one strikes lucky, its part of the Angeles city game, want easy high strike rates with bargirls then other nearby countries have many more willing girls because the bar scene is designed that girls have to fuck for a living, not true for the better looking girls of Angeles city IMHO.

Try the provinces. In 1999 I took a bus ride all through northern Luzon. It took maybe 5 days. Every day I would stop at a different place. In the larger bars and especially the ones that are owned by groups that own many bars that employ hundreds of girls spread over many bars which revolve their staff almost daily then most waitresses will probably not even have met most of the girls she works with that night so can offer very little truthful help.
Even if the waitress knows all the girls she has no power over who the girl chooses, she might say kind words but if the bargirl does not find one attractive, does not feel well, does not get a good vibe, wants st when the punter wants LT etc then no amount of introduction will seal the deal IMHO.
Know many bar owners, know many mamasans, know many waitresses, I never ask their opinion as most times I find they will tell one what one wants to hear, If one wants the very best girls that Angeles has to offer as I do then it is a very uphill struggle through lots of bullshit to end up with what one wants, as for Angeles offering the best bang for buck sorry I would rather call other Asian destinations that offer far prettier girls that all fuck with no excuses the best bang for buck IMHO.
Just a clarification guys, I always buy LDs for barfines, but my method is to ask if they barfine before buying them the LD. It takes about half a minute to get to that question, so you can avoid buying yourself a drink for the time being. Since you're buying her and yourself a drink before you leave, there's no reason for her to think you're cheap. I've also luckily never ran into girls who lied about being able to BF. Too good for me I suppose.
Regarding the show bars, yes you don't have a chance to interact with the girls before you pick her. But the method is still the same as I mentioned. You get the waitress to flag over a girl and ask the BF question (within half a minute of her sitting down) before buying anything for her. It works for me, so I think it's worth a try.
After a nonproductive afternoon with a bar girl on a fishing expedition for a sponsor (can you find one that is not), I tried to find a new (for me) angle to the last days of my trip. Thinking of maximizing the quality instead of quantity I thought of the second night I had spent in town and the spinner from Ponytails with fond memories. I texted her to ask if she was working and went to pick her up from the bar. I ended up bar fining her for the rest of my trip.
This solution worked for me: step by step, as we got to know each other's needs, the level of compatibility that was reached was very fulfilling. I have had similar experiences in Thailand but I find that Filipinas warm up to you faster. At times I felt I was servicing their sexual needs more than they were mine. Stayng until 12 each morning she flatly refused any tips or taxi money but as I was packing for my flight to HKG and she was in the shower, I slipped 2000 pesos into her overnight bag.
A week is not nearly enough to begin even to scratch the surface of opportunities this city has on offer. In the big clubs of Walking Street I did not take so much as a peek inside and my WeChat lighted up very late into the trip. High Society is still to be experienced. As a music lover I enjoyed the live bands at RnB. Although in many ways similar to Thailand, there is a certain Angeles twist to everything. I can not pinpoint what it is, put for as a first time visitor I find it engaging. Maybe some of my excitement is caused by a fact that this has been my first solid stretch of punting for several years now. Also the thrill of a new place and a new culture may count in as factors that pep me up.
All in all, visiting Angeles was a good decision. It is a good place get started on mongering in Philippines: the area is compact so the distances are short compared to big cities. I got a warm welcome from some of the veterans of the ISG community. Especially I want to thank BD who went out of his way to help me find my way. For anyone interested in visiting AC, instead of asking questions, try to go through some 200-400 pages of this forum. The information is all there. Even though I feel I feel that I have added very little if at all new information to this forum, I hope my experiences inspire someone to visit AC.

Southeaster.I am not Kurre. But I have stay at Savanah Hotel and Red Planet (formerly named Tune). Savanah was nice, around $65 a night. Red Planet is $30 a night. I prefer Red Planet. It is totally non smoking, clean and modern hotel. The room is small but it is OK with me. The bathroom has a nice roomy shower for two. You can bypass the lobby with your date and the doormen are nice and helpful.
I also prefer a few of the perimeter bars than fields bars.

The Rumi is only about 5 years old and has nice rooms for very good prices. Just don't fall for the "free breakfast". It's was toast and instant coffee. No restaurant or swimming pool but when I stayed there my room had a little kitchenette area and was very nice for the money. Rumi is only down an alley from Niftys.

Each of my trips to AC I get some new experiences to add to my life. A few nice things have been said about the referrals I have passed on but these leads and quality come from also getting my way through a few duds.
Here are a couple of experiences for you that didn't quite go to plan.
A) Coming back from a Cebu flight when I left Cebu I had a long time bargirl associate all set to meet me at my apartment. Lots of messages before my flight and it's all set. Most head to the border towns for real cheap action. Of most places, I prefer Thailand. Because you have have options besides the easy going attitude towards pussy. The best thing about the PI is the language and culture; it is pretty close to the US and the girls are great.

Thanks.You start out asking questions about Angeles, but toward the end of your post you conflate Angeles with the Philippines, of which Angeles is only a very tiny part.
To address the first question about Angeles, in my opinion, there's not much to do there except chase the women. Yes, you can golf, or hit mediocre restaurants or go hiking nearby, but the girls are the main attraction. Compared to Bangkok or Pattaya, it's a wholly uninteresting place aside from endless sexual opportunities. That said, if you go with a buddy or two, and don't stay for more than two or three nights, it can be fun. Also the incidence of street crime (pickpockets and muggers) is likely higher in Angeles than in Thailand or Cambodia. Conversely, and again strictly in my opinion, the girls are much sweeter, less overtly commercial and more fun to be with than in either Thailand or Cambodia.
Getting out of Angeles, and into the hinterlands, the Philippines can be quite an interesting and engaging place. Though culinary choices are limited outside of the larger cities, the mix of tribal cultures, scenery, local customs and the general warmth of the people can be as interesting as either Thailand or Cambodia. Again, I'm not speaking here of Manila or Cebu, but some of the smaller areas / cities scattered all over the country. Further, given the widespread ability to speak English, it's much easier to communicate with Filipinos than with Thais or Cambodians.

For the guys that have not visited and plan an Angeles visit I think that honesty is expected so here goes.
There is no doubt that angeles city is a shit hole, the streets are dirty, full of beggars / scammers, the police are super corrupt and like nothing better than to add to their little pay with bribes / extortion / protection and general dishonesty, even the prime minister calls them scallywags and a disgrace to the uniform.
The hotels are expensive for the quality one gets, any hotel room under $50 us I would not put my dogs to sleep in, even room of $ 100 plus are not all good and similar hotels in most nearby mongering destinations will be less than half price like for like.
The food, ever wondered why there are no pinoy restaurants outside the Phills? The simple answer is that pinoy food has to be the worst in the world, yes one can pay very high prices to eat western food in western owned high end restaurants but again one is getting below average food for big money, most other nearby mongering destinations have very tasty local and int food at very reasonable prices.
There is as many have said nothing to do in Angeles apart from drink and bar hop, yes there is SM mall, a small cinema and a flying club and some golf but in truth the mall is small with little choice, the cinema is not multi choice, the golf not up to international standards and the flying club is old planes and low standards.
On to the main part the girls, Yes pinays can be very sweet and some may even make good wives but not pinay prostitutes, pinay prostitutes are in the business of earning high by doing as least fucking as possible.
Fully agree that if one is in the habit or barfining or meeting girls that have very little earning power due to looks / fatties / oldies or a body that is showing heavy signs of multiple child birth then these type of girls are available for multiple sex / cleaning house. Ironing clothes and anything else one desires, pick a reasonably attractive / slim / no baby girl then one will pay large amounts of cash by the hour, that's if one can get the princesses to barfine / fuck at all.

Since you mentioned a US military-related background, there is an active VFW post in Angeles, on Pinatubo St. Some of the members have been retired in the area for 30+ years and have successfully figured out how to stay involved.
As other savvy posters on this forum have noted, golf (especially in the early mornings, when cooler) is popular, and flying lessons are relatively affordable. Also: local gyms for workouts, pool (billiards), darts, poker and other card games, swimming pools, (regular) massages and spas, hot air ballooning, involvement in local community activities (Rotary Club, helping orphans and physically challenged children, local US cemetery activities and so on) are all options.
Enjoy some of the better restaurants and dining both on and off Clark.
Use Angeles as a convenient base for local tours and exploration (cooler Baguio, or northern Luzon with scenic rice terraces at Banaue, or historic towns such as Vigan, or, even further north, surfing) or closer, Subic and various ocean related activities, or Pinatubo volcanic and hot springs tours), or relatively cheap airfares from Clark to numerous other destinations both within Philippines and internationally.
But, bottom line, drinking and interfacing with amiable young women are the two most popular activities in Angeles, and command the most time and attention.

Its a hard destination to beat. And if you like Thai food, as much as I do, you can have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner (which I did).
But, you don't hear people raving about Filipino food, do you? That's not a deal breaker. You don't hear them raving about German food, either. But, Berlin makes up for it by having an awesome selection of mongering opportunities as well as lots of things to do in the city. History, nightlife, flea markets, culture, Currywurst and Doner Kebabs galore! The superb national, public transport network makes day trips to neighboring cities (and countries) fast and easy. There is no sunny beach in Berlin, but a shitload of brothels and an abundance of freelancers who are among the best in the world.
Again, there's the whole package to look at. I think you understand how I am trying to evaluate Angeles City in context to other places. And that just gave me an idea, guys. I will try to contrive a metric formula for rating mongering destinations on mongering opportunities and quality of other distractions. PM if you have suggestions on that.

In my case, for example, I spent years in Paris, and if I dwelled on the differences between Parisian or French culture and that of the Philippines, I would have left here years ago. It's been my experience that Westerners who try to come here to live, and who constantly immerse themselves in recurrent comparisons between the Philippines and wherever they've come from, ultimately fail to adjust, become miserable, and leave. If however, you can accept this place on its own terms; if you can learn to judge it by a different metric, it becomes much more enjoyable.
If you want to compare Thailand and the Philippines in terms of externals--infrastructure, cuisine, public transportation, for example--the Philippines wouldn't stand up well. It lags behind Thailand on almost every "objective" dimension other than corruption, where on the latest "Transparency International" index, the Philippines actually placed one step above Thailand. For me, it's the intangibles that enable me to enjoy the place, and the biggest intangible is the people. Filipinos are, in my opinion, among the friendliest, most gracious and hospitable humans on the face of the planet, and their ready acceptance of foreigners goes a long way for me. I've had the chance, because of my work here, to travel to places that most foreigners will never see and to work with Filipinos from a very broad spectrum of the society and I'm the richer for it. I don't believe that Thai culture is nearly as accessible to foreigners. Succinctly stated, even a casual tourist can, with a modicum of effort, get to know individual Filipinos, while the same is not, in my experience, true in Thailand.

When I arrived earlier this week my regular driver was not available to pick me up. I have always just used our company contracted rate of P500 for him to wait for me and take me directly to my accom.
I was prepared to wait and play hard to get with the taxi scouts. Turns out there is now a published price for each hotel. My price was P350. I was expecting P500.
I guess our regular driver might be in for a price review.

I think you have a really good point, it is almost impossible to compare different cultures in that sense. And in my opinion as well, what is the idea. Enjoying the differences and learn from it, take the best from their and mix it with your own. And an additional point, some lake apple and some like banana, all about preferences. Beside that, enjoy every moment as it was your last.

Thanks to all who responded to my question with so many details. You enlightened me on some things as well as confirmed some of my suspicions. I'm sure other members will appreciate the input from all contributors, as I did.
And I think most understand my concerns. What else is in the "package" besides mongering? At my age I can pop once, maybe twice a day. I get anxious to do something different. Fortunately, the places I've visited offered other things to see and do during my sexual "downtime". We all know why Thailand attracts an awful lot of tourists each year for a reason. Its a hard destination to beat. And if you like Thai food, as much as I do, you can have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner (which I did).
But, you don't hear people raving about Filipino food, do you? That's not a deal breaker. You don't hear them raving about German food, either. But, Berlin makes up for it by having an awesome selection of mongering opportunities as well as lots of things to do in the city. History, nightlife, flea markets, culture, Currywurst and Doner Kebabs galore!...

Cross-cultural comparisons, particularly between East and West, are at best difficult as the gestalts are so totally different. In my case, for example, I spent years in Paris, and if I dwelled on the differences between Parisian or French culture and that of the Philippines, I would have left here years ago. It's been my experience that Westerners who try to come here to live, and who constantly immerse themselves in recurrent comparisons between the Philippines and wherever they've come from, ultimately fail to adjust, become miserable, and leave. If however, you can accept this place on its own terms; if you can learn to judge it by a different metric, it becomes much more enjoyable.
GE.Thanks for your input, and I understand where you are coming from. I just back from the Dominican Republic for the first time. I was forewarned on what to expect and there were no unpleasant surprises, as a result. I realized when I arrived, I would need to do things at a much slower pace, and not to expect immediate results. And sure enough, things didn't work like they were supposed to half the time. The WiFi in one hotel was weak and intermittent. The hot water in another hotel was non-existent. People were aggressively trying to hustle you, and cheat you in some cases. In other cases, people didn't give a fuck if you were supposed to be a paying customer. Despite all its warts, I became charmed by the DR, and its accepted the fact it is a different place, and probably shouldn't be compared with Colombia (where people are more conscientious and things work right about 80% of the time). I understand why so many ex-pats have embraced the place. And yes, the Dominican girls are definitely an acquired taste. But, it only took about 15 minutes in my hotel room for me to acquire it. Yes, I agree that you have to experience a place on its own terms to fully appreciate it.
But, my idea for a mongering index was a way for the person who has limited time and money (like most people), to determine where they should spend X amount of money and travel X number of hours in order to have a mongering experience. If you have lived in America, you will understand how difficult it can be to get time off (my trip to Thailand was postponed 8 months thanks to the indolence of a scheduling manager for my unit. She was interestingly enough, a Filipina, and like most Filipinas I have met in America, a horrible person.) Time off is a precious thing. However, I can say now that it was well worth the 26 hour flight, only to arrive in Bangkok two days later. And that is what I am trying to metricize. But, by no means make a all-encompassing rating on an entire culture. What we want to do here is help the monger judge what they get for the time and money expended for the trip.
Note that I made some trip reports while I was still in Thailand, and indicated that a few of the girls I engaged, were average in looks. This drew the ire of one BM who asked why I went all the way to Thailand if I wasn't going to screw the most beautiful women. I responded that they are more things of interest in Thailand besides the women. I pointed out that if I merely wanted to screw beautiful women, I could have done it cheaper and easier by flying down to Medellin. But, there are many things in Thailand that you won't find in Medellin (or the Western Hemisphere altogether). Hence, my proposed index tries to gauge a location on a variety of merits beyond the girls. Note that the actual sexual factors only make up 37% of the score. But, this can be tweaked.
Here is what I have gotten so far: 8 factors, equally weighted, on a scale of 1 to 10.
1) Quantity of working girls (% of general population or sheer volume in red light areas).
2) Quality (ethnic variety, looks, professionalism, variety of sex acts that are accessible).
3) Average price for short time (an inverse rating, where the lower price gets a higher rating).
4) Cost of lodging (another inverse rating, as lodging can or cannot be the primary travel expense depending on the location).
5) Quality of lodging (Are the hotels usually "guest friendly" and is it oriented towards the needs of mongers).
6) Food & beverage (Is the food acceptable or is the place a culinary destination? Does good alcohol flow cheaply and easily?
7) Transportation and accessibility (Is it easy to access from an international airport? Is the public transport good? Can you get out to other places easily?
8) Attractions & distractions (What else is there to do besides monger? Is it easy to access and is it affordable?
Now, add up you score for each category and divide it by 8. The quotient is your rating.
Anybody interested? Willing to bite? Rank Angeles City for me, and then rank Pattaya or Bangkok if you have been there, as well. Heck, rank any other city in the world you have mongered in. Come on. It will be fun.

The bar tender has a manager or supervisor. Most food establishments have strict rules. If the guy deviates, he could lose his job. It could be as simple as a generous pour to using the wrong glasses; and a customer or someone complains. There are usually people waiting in line for the job.
Unfortunately many foreigners are brash, abrasive and just out right assholes. They know they can get away with it in a third world country. In their home countries, someone would straighten them out. Especially since staff are usually the ones dishing out the abuse! It is not amazing why some foreigners get their "dues" and end up in unfortunate places. At great risk to myself, I have actually intervened in some situations, and have weapons drawn against me, by the foreigner.
No need to BS a story. Just tell them right off that you want to fuck (unless telling the story is part of your own fantasy). Also I would settle on a price before telling them which hotel I was in. When they find out you can afford to stay at the most expensive place in town they will not mind charging you more to fuck.

There is another one: Post 123 that I have been to (not 2485)..Right, they are two different US military retiree organizations. American Legion (Post 123) versus Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 2485). VFW Post 2485 is the larger and more active of the two. The VFW canteen (restaurant), which is on Pinatubo Street, is open to the public and run by the same restaurateur who owns Puzzle's Cafe. Nothing fancy, but basic American chow at fairly inexpensive prices. A bit similar to Rumpa. Until DC's post, hadn't realized American Legion Post 123 was still open.

While I fully agree with you that petty crime in pattaya is reported regularly one has to look at the time these incidents are happening, to whom, where they are and what they are wearing, as you will agree most gold snatches / ladyboy disputes. Guys getting slapped by the mamasun for not paying their bill all happen in the wee hours of the morning with most punters drunk or out walking in areas while wearing 1000's of baht in gold necklaces or walking alone down soi 6/1 at 3 am looking for guys in dresses to give one a blow job.

Maybe the 35 police presence points that they are setting up around the city says something about there being more crime against tourists in Pattaya than in AC.
I know a member of this board whose chain almost got snatched. And no he was not walking down a dark alley full of ladyboys and drunk at 3 am. It was the afternoon and he was driving down the main highway on his bike with his girlfriend when 2 guys on another motorbike pulled up and decided they could put his chain to better use. Luckily for him the clasp broke and the necklace fell down in his shirt. Being from Chicago and a military veteran this guy is no punk.
One could argue that it is irrelevant the who, when, and where, but the fact that whatever happens is what makes a place considered dangerous. Neither a bank nor a dark alley is dangerous until the robber or thief holding a weapon shows up.
Personally, I do not see Pattaya or AC as dangerous. I do not scare as easily as many people and being from the ghetto I guess I am indifferent to what many would consider dangerous. In the Medellin, Colombia thread people say how dangerous downtown is and definitely to be out of there by nightfall. Well I stay downtown and once wrote a report where I walked around at night filming and taking pictures of dope fiends with my Samsung flagship phone. Nothing happened. Nobody attacked me; nobody tried to steal my phone.
For the record I have been living in Pattaya for 7 years and nothing has ever happened to me here either. I also lived in the City of God (maybe you have seen the movie) neighborhood with my ex-girlfriend in Rio de Janeiro. Never a scratch nor a worry. Maybe I am just lucky or a fool or maybe even both.

If your claims were in the slightest true how do you explain that every convenience store in Angeles has armed guards, every small / large bar, every small / large hotel, every mall, most ATM machines, I have even seen an armed guard outside a barbers shop of all things, do you see this on the streets of Pattaya, no you do not, why, because the crime rate is much lower and the relevant establishments in Pattaya do not see a need for them unlike in Angeles where small armies are hired with enough automatic weapons to start a small war to try to keep the scum from killing and robbing them and visitors blind.

Have we forgotten the scum police only very recently who tried to extort very large sums of money out of a Korean and when he could not or would not pay was murdered in cold blood by guys (police) that are paid to protect people.
Can not in my 30 odd years of living in Thailand remember any tourist being shot dead in any street robbery for his belongings in Pattaya or any Pattaya police officers murdering a tourist over extortion and greed or any other reason.

You might be confusing Paul Atkins murder with one of the other many murders.
Paul was a good friend, he was not an expat but a tourist, he was shot dead in broad daylight up past lost in Asia bar.
Yes he might have resisted but then again he might have not, the police and papers said at the time that there was no sign of a struggle or any blow marks on Paul indicating he was ambushed shot dead first and then robbed.
What stands out is that there is some real scum roaming the streets of Angeles who are willing to pull the trigger for all of $10, no wonder the president recently ordered the killing of thousands of drug addicted pinoy scum, only way to clear them out IMHO.

Earlier this month I had a few days in AC, which I have been doing about this time of year for a few years now. I flew with Qatar Airways, in order to fly right into Clark, unfortunately it all went wrong in Doha when I missed the connection due to late arrival. Its the first time I tried that flight, and coming from a 50 minute delayed departure at London (not uncommon these days), the transfer time of 45 minutes was obviously a problem. Anyway Qatar airways looked after the 13 of us pretty well, and offered choice of the same flight following day, or Manila and bus transfer 7 hours later same day. So we took that, and finally arrived at Clark 12 hours late. I had cancelled my airport pick up to Queens Hotel, but was able to get a drop off, as the "bus transfer" from Manila turned into a fleet of 7 seater taxis with 3 - 4 in each. So finally out on the street about 10 pm. Met a cutie on the street near 7-11 store beyond Margerita Station and took her back. Turned out when we got to the room she had started her mens, so I sent her away and took her number for later in the week. Turned out her number was already in my phone from a previous visit! Small world! Found another from wechat who wanted to bring her friend, I said no just one, but they both came anyway, then I had a call from reception saying there was another one there and I could only have 2 joiners in the room! All got a bit confusing and I ended up sending them all away. I tried to get the first one back on here own as she had really nice figure, but didn't manage it.
Following afternoon I took another wechat girl who was really good, fabulous BJ and really did it for me. I had a PL date lined up for the evening, so sent the afternoon delight on her way and took a rest. I kept her number and promised to see her after my planned visit to Subic, later in the week.

I returned to AC from Subic with Southern Cross shuttle, which picked me up at Wild Orchid Resort in Balloy Beach and dropped me at the end of the street where the Central Park Tower is located. 500 pesos, good service. Bit early at CPT as my room wasn't ready. Check in time is 2 pm and I was there about 12.30, so no complaints. I left my bags and went off to have lunch at Gossips on Walking Street. Lovely waitress with a great ass, I wanted her there and then, but she resisted my advances! Anyway, back to CPT and moved in. My Sunday afternoon girl ahd been pestering me to come around as soon as I got back, so I told her to come round, and her mens had just started! Not my week, she was the 4th in a week! I went back to the trusty wechat and found a willing partner for dinner and all night. I met her at the hotel door at 8, really pretty girl with (apparently) huge boobs, and took her up to the top floor for dinner. Strange how some of these girls order enough food to feed an army! So we had a nice meal, she was of course impressed with the roof deck restaurant and pool, and we did a few pics. We called in at the Southern Drug Store (formally Mansion Drug) near the 7-11 store, where I bought a pack of 4 x 20 MG tablets. Best to start with a quarter or half, maximum. The effect is quite impressive, lasting after 1 hour for at least 24 hours, and no obvious side effects, and a rod as stiff as iron! Lovely. Back to the CPT for a visit from my PL girl, again a great all nighter and I was able to do her proud thanks to my new found friend! Paid her with a nice tip in the morning and took her down to the door again, just out of respect. A lovely girl, I will return for her. That's it, check out and off to Clark for the Singapore flight!

I guess I got some of it wrong when I reported about Paul Atkins. I first read about it in Harry the Horse's November 2011 newsletter. Harry seems to say it happened sometime prior to 1:30 AM and the body was found near Garfield's.Yes, "Jimmy the (D)". Once stayed at his stable many years ago. It was close to the VFW. As I recall, Atkins was a British tourist who, about 5 or 6 years ago, was found dead, reportedly in a dark alley with his wallet and other valuables missing. Of course, the perps were never found. Many expat killings in the Philippines are unsolved crimes.
About a decade earlier, a genial Australian businessman, Owen Dolan, who had lived and worked in Angeles for a couple of decades, was killed. At the time, Owen was the manager of the Phoenix Hotel. Before that, Owen had owned and run a bar adjacent to the Clarkton. Reportedly, Owen returned home one night from the Phoenix Hotel, and surprised 3 burglars, who stabbed him repeatedly. Owen was taken to a local hospital and, reportedly, seemed to be recovering and planning to return home when he suddenly took a turn for the worse and died in the hospital.
Inept (or non-existent) medical care is a leading cause of death worldwide. Angeles certainly has its share of inept doctors and lethal hospitals.

P.S. There was some thought at the time that the 3 burglars might not have been random, but might have been "hired". By the way, the price of a "hit" in Angeles is reportedly somewhere south of P5,000. It is generally prudent to be courteous and low profile. Of course, that doesn't help if you are in "the wrong place at the wrong time." See short story "Appointment in Samarra". Think it was penned by W. Somerset Maugham? There is a similar Chinese story. The gist of which is that, when it is your time, Death will not be denied.

Thanks for your input, and I understand where you are coming from. I just back from the Dominican Republic for the first time. I was forewarned on what to expect and there were no unpleasant surprises, as a result. I realized when I arrived, I would need to do things at a much slower pace, and not to expect immediate results. And sure enough, things didn't work like they were supposed to half the time. The WiFi in one hotel was weak and intermittent. The hot water in another hotel was non-existent. People were aggressively trying to hustle you, and cheat you in some cases. In other cases, people didn't give a fuck if you were supposed to be a paying customer. Despite all its warts, I became charmed by the DR, and its accepted the fact it is a different place, and probably shouldn't be compared with Colombia (where people are more conscientious and things work right about 80% of the time). I understand why so many ex-pats have embraced the place. And yes, the Dominican girls are definitely an acquired taste. But, it only took about 15 minutes in my hotel room for me to acquire it. Yes, I agree that you have to experience a place on its own terms to fully appreciate it.
But, my idea for a mongering index was a way for the person who has limited time and money (like most people), to determine where they should spend X amount of money and travel X number of hours in order to have a mongering experience. If you have lived in America, you will understand how difficult it can be to get time off (my trip to Thailand was postponed 8 months thanks to the indolence of a scheduling manager for my unit. She was interestingly enough, a Filipina, and like most Filipinas I have met in America, a horrible person.) Time off is a precious thing. However, I can say now that it was well worth the 26 hour flight, only to arrive in Bangkok two days later. And that is what I am trying to metricize. But, by no means make a all-encompassing rating on an entire culture. What we want to do here is help the monger judge what they get for the time and money expended for the trip.
Note that I made some trip reports while I was still in Thailand, and indicated that a few of the girls I engaged, were average in looks. This drew the ire of one BM who asked why I went all the way to Thailand if I wasn't going to screw the most beautiful women. I responded that they are more things of interest in Thailand besides the women. I pointed out that if I merely wanted to screw beautiful women, I could have done it cheaper and easier by flying down to Medellin. I haven't mongered in a long time. My last trip was in 2006- so I doubt my scales would be relevant today. When I visited the Philippines in 2006 I had more fun than in any of the other places I've visited. I got help from a friend who introduced me to a fantastic girl and she was the apple of my eye for a whole great week, one of the most fun weeks of my life. Cuba was a fascinating sociological experience and it was just as interesting to see what Late Communism was like than to fuck the girl (although it was plenty interesting and she was gorgeous, too). I have this strange tendency to stick to one girl I really fancy which probably ruins my accounts for most people. I had a lot of fun in Rio and probably had the best sex and prettiest girls, but I got short on money very fast, in part because I did under-finance my trip. Rio was all giant condo-like buildings. Angeles has the nutty charm of the bars trying to outdo each other in their own special cheesy way. I almost got mugged in Rio but managed to escape. Everywhere else I had no problems at all.
I'd like to try Africa because it sounds like they have the most enthusiastic sexual people and at the lowest prices. On the other hand I think Colombian girls are probably the most sexually attractive to me. I love the accents. (There are lots of them in Miami but I've never been to Colombia.) My biggest problem is that I'm terrible at languages other than English. A big virtue of the Philippines is that they speak a really dumb-down, oversimplified version of something that's enough like English that I can understand it.

I had some time to kill before my airport shuttle was ready to take me back to reality.
I have previously been pissed off with Vegas Massage and even the attitude of the girls sitting around the doorway convinced me that they are not worth a repeat try.

Just finished a 2 days visit to AC. From here I will go to Boracay for a more "socially approved" vacation style.
I have never submitted a report before but I think I should just in case someone might relate to me. If you check my post from Dec 2016 you will see that I have some special needs so to speak that make me probably a non-standard visitor to places like AC.
Back to the visit itself. I stayed at Queens Hotel which strikes a perfect balance for quality for the money. Last year I stayed at ABC and while the place has to be experienced once in your lifetime, I find the location problematic (far from the heart of the action). Queens is a nice, clean and safe place. The pool area is also very nice. The restaurant decent as well. Most importantly, it is very close to Walking street. I find this very important in AC. To me, the place is so horrible outside hotels and bars, that I want to minimize the distance I have to walk. In a way this place is really perfect to mix business and pleasure. Work from the computer during the day and have sex in the evening. There is really little else one can do outside the hotel and the bar.
During this visit I went to Club Atlantis, Angel Witch and Tropix (all close to Queens hotel). Atlantis is nice and big. Lots of girls and all quite good looking. I should say that I am attracted to average feminine bodies that is to say, I don't have strict limitations on taste except obesity and / or rough appearance. Compared to Soi Cowboy in Thailand (which is the only other place I visited for adult entertainment) I was surprised to find that most girls I saw here were in fact to my taste. That being said, I ended up leaving Atlantis since I did not find a good way to make eye contact with the girls. There are three levels there. The main level is crowded and noisy. The upper two levels are more relaxed but from there is difficult to make eye contact. IN fact mamasans use laser points to give clients to pinpoint the girls they may want to chat with. Judging from my last experience is better if the girl shows an interest first in talking to you since this may avoid the possibility of barfining a girl who accepts it for the money but otherwise resent being with you.
Angel Witch was kind of a letdown. It was true I was early (8 PM) but there were few girls on stage and this is the place where I saw actually about 2-3 girls with obesity problems. I think you will find that bars in the new Angeles are mainly all run on deception.
Why, because prostitution is illegal in the Phills and with the new HT rules that deem any girl that barfines to have sex as being trafficked then all bars are very reluctant to even discuss sex with the girls let alone offer sex with the girls.
My experiences with mamas, waitresses, owners, managers is that most will not discuss sex with one of their bargirls, why, because of the very severe penalties involved (20 years inside with no bail) with bars selling pussy.

I like to put the girl at ease by being playful. For example, if I am still interested after her first drink I will ask her to play Jack and Poy (Rock, Paper, Scissors) with me. As I have said you have no official statistics to confirm that Angeles is in fact safer than Pattaya.
If your claims were in the slightest true how do you explain that every convenience store in Angeles has armed guards, every small / large bar, every small / large hotel, every mall, most ATM machines, I have even seen an armed guard outside a barbers shop of all things, do you see this on the streets of Pattaya, no you do not, why, because the crime rate is much lower and the relevant establishments in Pattaya do not see a need for them unlike in Angeles where small armies are hired with enough automatic weapons to start a small war to try to keep the scum from killing and robbing them and visitors blind.
As of your claims that fights do not happen in Angeles nothing could be further from the truth, Of course fights happen in Angeles, pinoys just love to kick the crap out of foreigners for even the silliest of things, especially when drink and drugs are involved, if in doubt just think back to the gang of pinoy Dollhouse doormen who put a foreigner in a coma not so long ago for no reason at all.

I will support Mr. E by saying that I have seen violence, and was subjected to violence, in Pattaya that you have never heard of as it did not make the news. And I don't even live there. What category does pick pocketing fall under? Certainly crime against people if not violent. Also, what about the Pattaya Flying Club? I suppose it is a matter of choice as to what you believe. I believe that the majority of those sky falls were not of their choosing. I would broaden the overall safety concern to Thailand in general rather than just Pattaya. I'm not interested in compiling a list of those now gone due to violence, or whose deaths were passed off as suicide or whatever with no real investigation, but if I did it would be quite a long one.

As far as greenbelt in Makati the head office of my company is based there, my monthly wage bill for heavily armed security is in excess or 200,000 pesos, why do we and our pinoy workers feel we need security is because of the scum that roam the streets of Makati, I have offices in London where I conduct the same business and have zero security, I have offices in Bangkok / Pattaya and Phuket where I have zero security.
Not sure what type of 1st world cities some grew up in but they sure must be some dodgy cities to be compared to the very high crime rate all over the Phills.

Well, the amusing part is that even though Brazil has a high crime rate and is on top of every stats published most crime are related to drug gangs and as well family violence. So as for a tourist it is not that dangerous, and I say not that dangerous because it is not without risk to go to certain areas. But I have been more than 20 times in Brazil and have never been in a situation where I have been even near to be mugged. And for the record I'm a night monger, but avoid certain spots in every city I visit.

Be skeptical of all male Filipino entreaties of friendship. Never pick up a girl on the street. Fly below the radar. Don't get drunk. Don't get anybody angry.
Have to dispute your claims, why, because the doll house group does not employ mamasans, what they do have is waitresses, greeter girls and a foreign manager but absolutely no mamasuns.
All girls are interviewed and employed by the doll house group directly, they are not controlled by mamasuns.

If she wishes to refuse after sitting down, once you leave the bar, she will need to explain to her mamasan why she wouldn't go, and at some cases if her reason is not satisfying to her mama, or if she hasn't been otherwise barfined or what not, the mama may, at her own discretion, fine the girl for losing them both business.
I really can't say this is the case in all Angeles bars, but am positive it is this way in Atlantis.

I was there early February for 3 nights, good fun as there is a beach and floating bars to amuse you during the day, but it was pretty quiet when I was there. Easy to get there, Swaggy bus will collect you at your hotel in AC and drop you back when you want to return. Arrange through respective hotel reception. It leaves around 10 am every day, costs 500 ps each way and takes around 1 and a half hours door to door. Southern Cross bus can be arranged also, I think through Wild Orchid Resort. Enjoy.

Eminently sound advice. Having said that, of course as we all know, good folk can be found everywhere, including Angeles. We also are all aware, however, of the undercurrent of latent violence in the Philippines, due to many reasons, one of which perhaps is resentment stemming from the perceived "life is so unfair" situation wherein undeserving and unappreciative foreigners have so much, when the more deserving Filipino has so little. Plus, of course, the Latin / Malay / Filipino temperament overlay.
Crazy4 Thai, as I recall, we may have an Angeles Flying Club too (or at least the beginnings of one). Recall a couple of years ago, a guest took a header from an upper floor of Queens Hotel, and landed on the concrete pool deck. No suicide note, and never really determined whether or not he might have been "assisted".

OK, Yolanda was Friday, 8 Nov 2013 and the reports of the devastation started hitting the press on Saturday.

Just finished a 2 days visit to AC. From here I will go to Boracay for a more "socially approved" vacation style.
I have never submitted a report before but I think I should just in case someone might relate to me. If you check my post from Dec 2016 you will see that I have some special needs so to speak that make me probably a non-standard visitor to places like AC.
Back to the visit itself. I stayed at Queens Hotel which strikes a perfect balance for quality for the money. Last year I stayed at ABC and while the place has to be experienced once in your lifetime, I find the location problematic (far from the heart of the action). Queens is a nice, clean and safe place. The pool area is also very nice. The restaurant decent as well. Most importantly, it is very close to Walking street. I find this very important in AC. To me, the place is so horrible outside hotels and bars, that I want to minimize the distance I have to walk. In a way this place is really perfect to mix business and pleasure. Work from the computer during the day and have sex in the evening. There is really little else one can do outside the hotel and the bar.
During this visit I went to Club Atlantis, Angel Witch and Tropix (all close to Queens hotel). Atlantis is nice and big. Lots of girls and all quite good looking. I should say that I am attracted to average feminine bodies that is to say, I don't have strict limitations on taste except obesity and / or rough appearance. Compared to Soi Cowboy in Thailand (which is the only other place I visited for adult entertainment) I was surprised to find that most girls I saw here were in fact to my taste. That being said, I ended up leaving Atlantis since I did not find a good way to make eye contact with the girls. There are three levels there. The main level is crowded and noisy..

A few days ago I had some classic AC drama. There is this interesting, naughty and GFE gal that I've stayed in touch with. She knew I was in town, but we hadn't met yet. She contacts me in the wee hours and begs to meet. At first I thought she was drunk and just wanted someplace to crash. It turns out there was some drama in play, and I'm guessing it was mostly drama she'd created herself.
Anyway, she gets to my room and I console her. We also spend a lot of time testing the mattress quality in my room. In between periods of copulation she's on the phone and sorts out her "problem" to some degree. I have to be very quiet while she's doing this. And then as suddenly as she appeared, she suddenly has to go. She refuses any money because, "she disturbed" me. Bless her heart. I hope she disturbs me some more. So I wonder, while we on this forum exchange information with each other, how many guys there are out there in the "real" world who would read these exchanges and figure they're all works of fiction.
GE.The disbelief was more so pre Internet in my experience. Not just the birds too, but also very lucrative smuggling (gold, consumer electronics, whisky, etc.) and even busking. I had a few acquaintances who were earning abut $500 US per night in Taipei singing Beatles songs in the street. Some of the most entertaining stories were from Yanks who were stationed in Korea in the 70's and they go out on field exercises. The girls from the camp towns would pack up too and set up tents to service the troops. Back then Korean bog roll was such poor quality that these fellas could fuck a girl for one high-quality roll, which would be sold on the black market. I've met a few former US Air Force who were stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War who had very entertaining stories about the era. Some Peace Corps workers have good tales too, and also some of the saddest ones, such as the fella who was sent to Afghanistan (Pashtun tribal region) and was offered a boy by the elders, which he refused, and the fella who worked with lepers in Korea.

GE.There's no way to normalize what happens in SE asia (or alternately Mexico) with what happens daily in Western countries. I get that. I often don't share my adventures of the differing cultures with my cano counterparts because it would either 1) cause them to scratch their heads, or 2) disbelieve. Here are a few of mine (think I've reported some of this stuff here), and one from my mate:
1. If someone told you today that years from now you'd go to a foreign country and a pregnant girl with a live-in boyfriend would spend the night in your bed (in fact she would spend time in your bed over several pregnancies), naked, then get drunk on an empty stomach at 6 am (while still naked) the next morning, then exclaim to everyone on the street shortly thereafter: "Oh sh*t I think I am DRUNK"! You'd think they were nuts, right?
2. If someone told you that you'd go to a foreign country and see a *purple* firetruck with flames painted on the sides, you'd think they were nuts.
3. If someone told you that you'd go to a foreign country, sleep with a hottie who had false teeth, that she'd lose the teeth in the night in the bed, the teeth would end up the crack of your arse, and that she would put the dirty teeth back in her mouth unknowingly, you'd think they were nuts.
4. If someone told you today that you'd go to a foreign country someday and be able to rent a girl overnight the same way you rent a car at home, you'd think they were nuts.
5. If someone told you that you'd go to a foreign country and girls who were in love with their local boyfriend might f*ck you for money, you might believe that. If someone told you that she might sleep with you because you have blue eyes (or because you have pictures of you and your kids who happen to have blue eyes), you'd think they were nuts, right?
6. If someone told you that you'd go to a foreign country and sex a local girl, you might believe that. If they told you that the girl would bring you her cousin the next night, you'd say WTF!
7. If someone told you that you'd go to a foreign country and sex a local girl who would introduce you to her male cousin, you might believe that. If they told you that the cousin was really her boyfriend, you'd say WTF!
Yet, those things happen. And one from a buddy:
One American guy is former military and had this happen in AC several decades ago. He picked up a ST girl from a bar and went into the back for a quickie. He was too inebriated to consummate and fell asleep. Later when he woke up, the bar was dark and quiet, and instead of going out the front door, he knew the shortcut out the back. He stumbled down the hall and into a small room with two sleeping bargirls. He layed down and fell asleep with the two new girls. Sometime in the night he awoke, and was being kissed and rubbed in the dark by one of the (apparently horny) PYT's. They f*cked and went back to sleep. In the morning awoke with the two sleeping beauties, not knowing which one he'd f*cked. He made his way home. If someone told an American today that this thing would happen to him in the future, he'd think they were nuts.

There's no way to normalize what happens in SE asia (or alternately Mexico) with what happens daily in Western countries. I get that. I often don't share my adventures of the differing cultures with my cano counterparts because it would either 1) cause them to scratch their heads, or 2) disbelieve. My retired military (AF colonel) friend in the US told the story 20 years ago of he and 5 or so buddies sitting at 1 table having beers. Under the table were 6 pinays sucking them off. The first one to come was the loser.

Will book Queens for my hotel.I stayed at Queen's last October, and the receptionists called my room complaining that I could not have three girls in my room. I had to explain that they were only visiting and not staying the night. This would not happen in ABC or the Penthouse. Funny fact is that the girls were all from the hotel's upstairs bar. Also, I find their rooms too small. When I visited their restaurant this month, I found the food portions much smaller and quality poorer, than in October. Will not be booking at Queen's anytime soon.

Just returned from my AC visit, and I have to say each trip is a different experience. I did not have to barfine any girls, as my previous contacts which I did not bang came through and brought cousins and sisters along for some fun. Ended up with more pubic hair in my mouth than all the previous visits combined together. Most of these girls were either freelancers or non professionals.
