May I ask why you want carpet? The carpet in mongering zones is full of dirt, pubic hair, cum stains and other body fluids. At least with timber or tiled floors, the maid will usually mop them.

Day 1: Thursday Checked in at Central Park Towers heard so much good things about it. Big mistake on my part. I always stay at The ABC but this place gets a lot of hype so I decided to try it. Besides the pool and TV system as far as channels. Not much better than Queens and Pacific. Bed is hard, got bed bites on my arm. 6 total on 1st night. Stayed in Suite 125 bucks a night. Food sucks here, and don't get that wow factor from all the girls. If anything get a 60 dollar room same crap but smaller. Had to talk hotel due to it being a fail so far me.

Did you complain to the hotel staff about the hard bed and bed bugs? If so, did they compensate you in some way? I'll be at that hotel next week and hope I don't have the same issues.

Has anyone ever barfined any of those girls from XS Club? I did the other night and it was a big disappointment.
I eventually kicked her out of my hotel without even doing the deed with her. No kissing, no BJ, lights needed to be turned off etc. I didn't want to waste my time and effort with her. My 6th trip in 3 1/2 years to Angeles. Ever since 1st visit, my game is to get 3 pops in a day from 3 of the cutest hottest girls I can find at that time of search. Most of the comparison reports I've read previously have been written by Pattaya regulars who are occassional Angeles City visitors. This is a view from someone who is the opposite.
General Similarities:
Both cities are generally shit holes but shit holes with character that foreigners keep returning to for one reason only, getting laid. They also have a much smaller population of long term or permanent residents and are the poor cousins of a nearby Capital City. The Capitals have better choices of top end girls, hotels and meals. Visits to both are very heavily affected by the timing. Holidays, tourist seasons and weather can make a substantial difference to enjoyment, prices and girl / visitor numbers and quality.
Pattaya Benefits:

Yeah, Shakey's is still big in Asia, and especially in The Philippines. The first time that I can recall ever going out for pizza was at a Shakey's! Santos used to have backrooms which are now not available which I used to love for 24/7 mongering. It used to be 750-800 a pop. Bars have an early shift now around 11:00 so if you absolutely need something before 11 they still have girls available 24/7 on Santos but you have to either take one out for 1 h at a reduced rate or take them back to your hotel. There have always been heaps of massage parlors in AC. Not sure which Angeles you have been visiting. LOL. Both legit and ones offering extras. The little woman is a clueless dingbat.It's not just the uneducated hookers who are dingbats. The educated, professional class pinays in my country are not much better. I have come across lots of accounting, finance and admin types and they have no common sense or general knowledge. That's with a four-year college degree. They can follow instructions, blend in culturally and will generally get the basic job done. Just don't go giving them complex problems to solve. I guess the better quality, well connected ones don't leave the Philippines.

He said they would rather just kill a project than compromise with a western company. This may mean that thousands of Filipinos miss out on job opportunities and the country forgoes essential infrastructure creation. Only the Chinese and Koreans can readily invest in the Philippines as their anti-corruption measures in their countries are quite flexible.

Probably not what you're looking for but two suggestions:
AC: I did the 4 x4 thing up to Pinatubo about five years ago. Pretty interesting hike and the crater was magnificent with various colors on the walls. Definitely photogenic. Not sure how much it's changed. That was one of the remarkable things: how much it had changed in the relatively (geologically) short time since the eruptions. They may have a road all the way there now. When I went it was a decent little hike from the trail head.
Manila: A bit more off the wall. Take the ferry to Corregidor. I don't know your background but it really doesn't matter if you are American or not, though probably best not to be Japanese. They put you on little fake trams and take you to see the "restored" (painted) guns and Malinta Tunnel. Then the afternoon is free for such historic activities as karaoke. But if, incredibly, that's not your thing, you can have a guide show you a bit more interesting things. Might be a bit of a crap shoot since I found that some of the guides were pretty clueless of things that were not on the script, but there is some really cool stuff there and they really don't seem to care if the tourists survive so you can have a ball. Tunnels, caves, big ass guns, etc. I've been there about eight times and it is still interesting. I generally stay a night or two at the really crappy hotel but the ferry takes you over in the morning and back in the evening, still in time for the night at EDSA or wherever.

Manila: Do Fort Santiago. Do Marco's Presidential Palace (you need reservations). Corregidor is going to be a long day.
Angeles: Mt Pinatubo is a very long day. I wouldn't take pictures in Angeles because it is so infamous. During Easter, there is that scene where people "crucify" themselves.
West of Angeles is Subic Bay. It is a beach area. There is scuba diving.
I prefer to take pictures in Puerto Galera. It has beaches, scuba diving, secluded islands, and waterfalls. But Sabang, Puerto Galera is far away. It takes about 4 hours to get there from Manila. But Sabang has go-go bars.

Also, suggest some pictures at Pampang Markets, 10 minutes from Walking St. Shows he family the poor food and health conditions you are tolerating. They make like the beaches but those markets will stop them joining you on the next trip.

For Sabang I always say Peurto Galera not Sabang. I go there (apparently) for the excellent diving which is world renown.

My usual response to this said with a tone of disgust - cmon on do you think I want to catch a disease from those dirty old hoes that f everything in site - usually gets a favorable response.

Your friends and family will admire you for your altruism. More seriously, you could actually donate some money and learn about their programs for getting kids off the street.

Once I was traveling from Manila to Cebu. Had chatted with a pretty girl and planned staying few nights together. She wanted some American soap and some perfume. Anyway she sent messages from the time I got on the plane to the time I checked in Waterfront hotel. Last text was she was on her way to waterfront hotel. Then silence. I waited one hour and went downstairs and got two girls. After two days she has the audacity to text me and said can she meet me to get her gifts. I told her I already gave it away to other girls.
Just last week when I was in Cebu this girl about 3 hours away texted me she is on the bus. Then no text. I texted back asking where she is. She texted saying her family told her not to travel because of holiday week. Once again on the imaginary bus.
These days I do not believe whatever they say. Not waiting for anybody. I always have couple of girls as back. Only problem is wiggling out of commitments if the primary girl really shows up.
I believe the girls get lots of offers. So they decide which one to take. Also depends on their money situation. If the rent is paid and food is on the table they do not take the offer.
In the scheme of things we all play games. We lie and they lie.

Got bumped by my apartment. They overbooked. Stay one night in Sun and Moon hotel.
