Could someone please explain the trick into getting Sugar Baba's videos? They continue to give me nothing but error messages everytime I attempt to get one.

I d/l the torrent, open it up with BT, and get this message EVERY time: "Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error unknown url type: udp>". For instance, the last torrent he posted of the Campbell's soup girl - it's been on continously for the past 59 hours. I opened it up before he even said he would be seeding the file.

By the way, I'm quite familiar with the operation of Bit Torrent and have no problems whatsoever downloading anything else using BT. It's only these files from Sugar Baba are always a problem.

Is it possible someone that has his videos could post them to a site that would be suitalble for downloading them?

I never had any trouble of any kind downloading any of SugaBaba's videos. I use the freeware BitComet. If you are having trouble, I'm pretty darn sure it must be your configuration! Last night, after someone mentioned that no one was seeding, I turned it on for several hours. Finally I saw that I will still not sending data to ANYONE, so I turned it off. Whoever thought there were no seeds was wrong! Because I have the whole file, and left it running.

Best policy is to load torrents the day Sugababa uploads them, and leave it running, --- if it doesn't start at the time Sugarbaba said it'll start -- then YOU have a configuration problem you gotta figure out for yourself! (There are just too many possibilitites for anyone to write a universal guide -- like you could have firewall from your ISP, from your router, etc.. any number of things causing problems.)

There's still something screwy about all of this though. Obviously, it cannot be any kind of configuration problem on my part. I'm able to download ANYTHING else I choose using BT - tv programmes, football matches, etc. Never had a single problem from the first moment I started using it. Unless it's possible that SB is sending his torrents to a specific port he has established and which is normally blocked? Don't even know if it's possible, but that could be the only explanation I could think of. I've even disabled the firewall for several hours thinking there might be some issues with that. Made no difference at all.

From all the other posts from the past few months, it would seem that I'm not the only one having this problem. So, I still stand by my earlier comment that I think a lot of users, including myself, would benefit if someone could upoad those files to a site that we could just d/l from normally. Rapidupload would be ideal. BT is reporting the file size at 270MB so, in the case of this particular file anyway, it's well within the size limit set forth by rapidupload.

All of SB's torrent have been running fine folks. For those of you who are having problems, I strongly recommend switching to Azureus, or Bitcomet. Probably Bitcomet is better, its not as complicated as Azureus. Anybody who cannot view the movie should d/l one of the community codec packs that you can locate using google. Anyone else who is still having problems may PM me or post here, and I can help as much as possible. Pls post the details of the nature of your problem, tho. Dont just say "It dont work, this sucks". If you do, I will ignore it.

How can you get the download to work ? I've installed bittorent and it launches when i click on SB's file, i get the download window but there's nothing happening, it just hangs there ...

This is how I did it and it worked for me.

1. Down load BitComet 6.0 from any shareware website.

2. Install the BitComet software and adjust your firewall to allow connections to other computers.

3. Download SB's zip file into your computer.

4. Unzip the SB's file in your computer.

5. Go to BitComet's tool bar and open the torrent file that you just unzipped.

6. BitComet will do the rest.

7. Once the file is 100% downloaded, you can play it.

Note: Leave the file on your BitComet work space so it can be downloaded by others "seeded".

The above procedure worked for me.

i'm not sure why gwei chai cannt dl the vid files; his setup seems to work for other content, so it should work.

but for others that havent before used bt:

1) any software firewalls must be turned off or configured to allow incoming access to the bt client from the internet.

2) bitcomet really is the best client for speed and ease.

3) whatever bitcomet is configured to defaultly listen on eg port 6990, your hardware router / firewall must have this port set to port forward that port on the wan side to the lan side ip# of your pc.

once you're connected and dling, regardless of what speed, the little green down arrow next to your torrent will show youre dling.
