I agree with Tagalog2016. You need to go in with your eyes open and understand the environment.

I have been visiting since 1976. The only thing that has changed since then is some paved roads and the currency exchange rate.

When I was a young sailor in Olongapo I had no idea what was going on so I made all the usual mistakes to include a one year failed marriage to a "regular girl". Like they say, "you can take the girl out of the PI, but you can't take the PI out of the girl"..

There is no age limit nor age discrimination in the Philippines. In fact, senior citizens are revered and get special treatment. I have been to many nightclubs in Manila and AC and can confirm that age 60, you might even be considered a young pup. It is not uncommon for 80 year olds to be hanging out with 20 year old hotties in mini skirts and thongs. All that matters is the number of blue notes (1000 peso) you have in your pocket.

To have the best time at Royal, get yourself a table / sofa / half sofa. It will cost about 12 k which includes a 1 litre bottle of imported liquor of your choice (Grey Goose, Bombay Saphire, Black Label) mixers plus your own personal waiter. Service is amazing. Random girls will come and join your table and within 15 minutes you will have a full on party happening. There are few things as fun as dancing with a bunch of Pinay hookers.

Just do it. You won't have any issues.

The Indians generally reserve the best sofas and VIP areas and get the hottest chicks. But old white people can still have a great time. Royal doesn't have many Korean or Chinese customers which might be a good thing.
