Greetings everyone,
I've started this new thread to provide a centralized location to catalog the Forum's best travel reports. Here's the idea:
If you have written one or several detailed travel reports, or if you know of such reports, then please post the link here.
You may also include a short summary of the nature of the report.

For the first time in my life, I visited the MP "Nxxxxxn"at Kollupitiya and asked for CXXXXXI. It was a utter waste of money, we could have gone for Rusians for the value of Rs.34,000/-.
I guess it is not worth it to go to karoakes, rather better to go to a night club and try to hook up with some one.
I also recall a similar incident at BASE Karoake in 2004, we were billed for things we did not have and when I took up the issue, my friend was high with the drink, I went to the manager and this girl had taken the bill to my friend who was dancing and got him settle it with his credit card. and when I came back the lady was telling me we cant do any thing about the bill as the bill is now paid - settled. The bill was rs.24,000/- + for three guys and the accompaning three ladies.
I guess people should think twice before visiting a Karoake.

I'm traveling to Sri Lanka end of April and after an 11 hr flight will need a couple of days to stretch and chill.
Can anyone advise me on a good location to head for once at airport, I will be heading for Hikkaduwa eventually and have seen some good reports on there, but what about something nearer Colombo other than Negombo (going the wrong way north instead of south).

Hi All, newbie here. I joined the ISG yesterday, but have been reading your stories & experiences occasionally, always wanted to join and engage with you all but, didn't have the guts to do.
