There are always exceptions to the rule. Just not advisable to count on being the exception.Don't believe in marriage anyway so that's the solution right there. Having a kid with a brazilian lady can also be problematic if it doesn't work out. System is as one-side and against us as UK, US etc.

I just stayed at the Fasano for 2 nights and was unable to bring a girl in from outside. I found her on the internet and she arrived showing deep cleavage (we met outside). The reception person alerted the manager as we were getting into the elevator and the manager said there are no guests allowed after I had registered into the hotel as 1 guest.
I asked if she is allowed in for an extra charge and they said "no".
The Tripadvisor website says that some hotel guests entertain prostitutes in the restaurant, but I assume they meant the big bar area, but I was there for Sunday and Monday evenings, when the bigger bar / restaurant were closed. The main restaurant was for dinner reservations only.

I arrived in Rio in the morning. I went straight to the apartment I rented from a Brazilian website (like airbnb but then Brazilian). I recommend everyone this instead of hotels. Only for the people that have a lot more money than me or really need the service of cleaning and cooking / ready made breakfast I suggest hotels. Apartment: you chose where, how long, how expensive and done. As easy as booking hotel.
First of all I speak a little Portuguese. For everything in Brazil. That helps! For a gringo I speak good. I stayed for 1 week. I prepared 2 'friends' by chatting on badoo. (2 friend was very hot but no time to date. Another great tip for gringos who speak little bit the local language. Tons of girls there and if you're good looking and smooth, you can prepare yourself a few dates for free already before you arrive. The Baddoo work took me 3 weeks before arrival.

Never thought I would wright this report, so don' t give up on people that have been readings 3 years before any report-.

I'm not new to this forum or to the mongering scene, but up until now I've only been reading and not so much contributing (feel a little bad about it yes, so.).
December of last year was my first trip to Brazil and it was a with high expectations! I had plans to hit all the most popular joints, but because of my travel companion who turned out to be an a-sexual being, I only got to visit MC and Centaurus. I can add that Centaurus is of course overpriced as everybody know already, but I had a really good time anyway. Monte Carlo was good as well. About my high expectations though, I can tell you that I'm coming back in December 22 and staying for a month this time around! I live in Europe and I've been around the block as you say, but there is something special about Rio, it's so much more than just the women I guess.

Be aware that some of the love motels were converted to regular hotels before the World Cup and there might be even more in advance of the Olympics. Check to make sure yours is still a love motel. The site I listed usually is up-to-date.
Most rooms come with sauna, Jacuzzi and porn. Some have a little dinning area, disco dance floor, pools, waterbeds and special sex chairs and benches.
A little advice: Before you take your little Brazilian hottie to one of these places, rest up. She is going to want to do it everywhere and don't plan on much sleep.

L'uomo closed about two years ago. Café 400 is also closed. If you want to get some P4P you'll better study the forum. Good luck.

There is no new face of Rio-its business as usual-the police and local government make a lot of reais off termas and privees. The only area that will go is probably Praca Maua-I don't think VM will go either-the so-called bullet train between SP and Rio that was due to get built where VM is, keeps getting delayed like everything in Brazil=it won't happen.
went to monte carlo yesterday.
a long bus ride from barra the tijuca, but well wort it, for 3 reais you get the six flags experience in brazil, basicaly once you step into the bus, good luck not flying out the window, you have to hold for life with both hands and place you feet firm on the ground, the bus drivers have this tendency to speed up like crazy righ before the red light and than brake so everyone flies out. also watch the turns, if normal the sane speed limit on while turning is exceeded by 2-3 times so get ready to have lots of fun.

Went to Centaurus this Saturday.
This time had a better bus ride experience, apparently there are some blue express buses for R13, from Barra to Zona Sul. The buses avoid all the traffic and have a more direct scenic route, they are much more comfortable than the regular R3 buses. The seats are wide and deep with padding, so you don't feel the Six Flag Great Adventure driving experience.
Got to the end of Ipanema and beginning of Copa and walked to Centaurus for about 5 minutes. Got there, was greeted by a younger receptionist who dint speak any English and then a older lady who spoke some English. She told me right away the price is R560 cash or R590 with a credit card + I'd is needed. I told her thank you very much, how about I pay the entrance fee and go relax, she insisted I pay the full fee upfront, and I let some time pass by and then told her OK, Do you want to drop the whole tourist thing? She became upset and told me fine: give me R140 and go.
I went to the locker, changed, walked to the shower area, by ignoring 3 girls who were greeting and where pretty much a 4-5. Took a shower, for some reason they didn't have any mouthwash which was available in MC.
Went up to the main room, some girls were hanging at the Relax room beds. Walked in about 20 girls, different shapes and sizes as well as colors, IMHO all of them are 7-9. Sorry for the delay just got back from 13 days in Rio.
Day 2- Wednesday.
I hit the Orla early for beach stroll and run after that Bibis for breakfast. A buddy swings by and we make our way to Eden Spa in Copa. Our normal day was breakfast, hooker beach or Ipanema beach near Caesar Park for a few hours then Luomo or MC for a matinee. Then SSS and off to centro, hit 4 x4 before 5 or Cancun. Then back to the apt. By 10 to freshen up and then off to T. A. And Help. Grab another garota till 5 or 6 am, sleep and get up at 11 and do it all again. Man I REALLY miss the old Rio1.

Absolutely agree. I can't imagine flying to Rio, one of the most beautiful coastal cities in the world, and staying in Centro. The place closes down at night, and the area around the Termas stinks. If you want to stay closer to the Centro Termas, at least stay in Lapa, the samba nightlife district.I stayed in Centro and its not cool at all. Getting to and from Ipanema, Copa even Santa Teresa and other places where you can enjoy the views, beaches etc is not hard. Centro is super depressing at night with a lot of weird characters from Vargas till Maua. And I'm 6 ft 6 and a Kick boxer who speaks portuguese and looks like a brazilian. I've had a few problems on the streets at night, scrapping with a crackhead, youths etc. Go have fun and come out!. Lapa used to be the spot-no longer I'm afraid. Still touristy samba activity and some live venues, restaurants etc but not the main spot no more. I've been to Rio quite a few times now.

I've been away from Rio for 7 years and not active on this site in that time so new I'd name and time to step up to the plate and contribute.
My new job is going to take me to Brazil 2-3 times a year so I get to check out my old stomping grounds from 2003-2008 when I lived there. I was working in Sao Paulo so flew up to Rio and spent 3 nights 4 days. Booked an apartment in Posto 4 Copacabana in the beach block with airbnb after checking visitors were allowed. I'd definitely only want to stay in Copacabana or Ipanema, Centro is for whoring not living! I hear you guys, but there's something about staying on the beach that I need to make my vacation a vacation. As far as finding ass and mongering I think it def makes more sense to stay in Centro. In the past it was so much harder to organise a private apartment so we had to rely on hotels and often paying extra to the door man or reception but it seems to me that the number of private apartment rental sites have changed that (flipkey, airbnb, tripadvisor, homeaway just to mention a few) have literally hundreds of apartments. Yes this time I was at 707 Rua Ouividor and it is still there (sorry to stress you Sperto). However, Stellas / Hollywood were both originally on Carioca (59 rings a bell). I Didn't realise until my last trip that there are a number of prives in the tall skyscraper on Av. 13 de Maio – this is building number 33 (called Edificio Central). The building is located behind the municipal theatre in cinelandia. To enter the building itself you have to go down a small side street. As with the Rio Branco skyscrapers, you have to take different elevators to get to different parts of the building. The first 4 floors are shops which you access via escalators (don't bother unless you are after cheap internet access). To get to floors 5-24 you take the elevators in the entrance to the building – one does floors 5-24 and the other does 25 to 35. To get to floors 25-35 then you need to take the escalator up to the second floor. Don't worry, everything is signposted. You will have to queue up to get in the elevator. Somebody sits in the elevator all day and pushes the buttons – feel sorry for them, what a job! - tell tehm what floor you want to go to.
There are quite a few prives in the building – I only visited a few of thembut if you have access to gpguia or look on hotforum or gparena then you will find the others and reviews about the prives and the girls. Nice new mirrored room with shower en suite. Maybe it was always there, but I had never seen this in the past. .Great news! Very to hear that the talent is very high in Monte Carlo! Mac and 4 x4 are my two favorite termas since Luomo closed. I hope this trend keeps up into 2015.
Most of us who visit termas in Rio spend most of our time playing in Division 1 - 4 x4, Monte Carlo, Cancun and if you have the bucks in Solarium, T65 and if you have the bucks and no brains in Centaurus. In Division 1 the facilities are good, the number / range / quality of girls is usually good and costs are at least 300 RL per hour.
Division 2 termas are less well reported. Usually for good reason as the quality of facilities / girls are lower. But some gems can be found. I've visited MV30 quite a lot over the years and met some great girls there in 2010-2012, pickings (for me) are a bit bare there at the moment and the prices are approaching Div1 at 250 RL per hour, but I'll keep going back to check!
Tonight I thought I would check out some of the other Division 2 termas.
Termas 502 - Rua de Alfandega. Quite well known on ISG. Entrada is 20 RL and you get 2 free beers included. No Robes. You can walk in with your bag, They give you an entrance card which is marked with your drinks and sessions and you pay on the front desk on the way out. I was there between 7 and 8 pm on a Tuesday. Fairly quiet with maybe 15-20 girls with arrange of body types. Strangely everything stopped and the lights went up for a game of bingo!! There is a main bar plus a smaller smoking room. Termas 31 - Rua the Alcantara Machado 31.
This is close to MV30. As you walk down Mayrink Veiga from Rio Branco, Alcantara Machado is the road on the right just before MV30. There is promotion at the moment with free entrance and all drinks are 10 RL. You have to check bags in at the front desk. I checked mine in and everything was still there (including a small camera) when I picked it up. No robes. You get a card which is marked with drinks etc. The place at 8 pm was more or less dead. There were about 10-12 girls with about half fuglies (there are some girls who should not be allowed to wear bikinis. In T31 there were 3 of them, overweight with guts and ripples of fat). There were several nice looking girls. If you like big butts there was a tall mulatta with an afro and huge butt from Bahia who I talked to. Nice girl, I forget her name but look out for the afro and bunda. I stayed about 30 minutes to check the place out then left. This is close to 4 x4. From Av. Rio Branco walk down Buenos Aires past 4 x4 and then take the next road on the right, this is Quitanda. T81 has no entrance fee but you have to buy at least one drink. The guy on the door speaks English. He will give you an entrance card which is marked with your drinks The stairs up from the street lead straight into the boate which is basically a smallish room with a bar along one wall plus the desk where you go to pay and get your card stamped to exit. No robes. This place had lots of locals drinking and about 10 girls. I didn't stay long. Didn't talk to any girls and didn't find out prices, but I wouldn't bother.
On a walk round I found the following.

This termas appeared on the Brazilian forums last year and had LOTS of activity but was quiet recently. I was looking forward to paying it a visit but its closed.

IN SUMMARY. Perhaps if you don't pay entrada, by default you have to pay for a suite rather than a cabin? I don't know, but I won't make the same mistake again.
The moral of the story is. MAKE SURE YOU GET TO SESSION BY 5. 45/5. 50 IF YOU WANT FREE ENTRADA, otherwise take the 50 RL hit as trying to sneak a freebie a few minutes late doesn't work.
Also, everybody, and I mean everybody, in 4 x4 is asking for a tip at the moment. The lady who cleans the rooms, the people who book the session, the bar staff, the guy on the way out (Christmas is coming). I toured round a couple of the Ed. Central prives today. This is the building next to the Carioca metro station (Av. Rio Branco 165). The elevators are on the first floor and it is clearly signposted which elevator you need to take to access which floors in the building. There is a protocol for waiting in line on the first floor which, unbelievably, most of the locals adopt! Look for the painted lines on the floor to indicate where to stand.

I stayed one month in Rio and came back home beginning of this week. Visited Balcony many nights and for termas 4 x4, Monte Carlo and also MV30. Didn't session at 4 x4 or Monte Carlo because I didn't find girls that were exactly to my taste but in general I was impressed with the line up at Monte Carlo. A couple of days I toured around the massage parlors in Centro and I made a list from looking at GPGuia. To my taste I didn't find many girls in my taste except for one girl in Bel Prazer. I was in 4 x4 on Monday, I made some mistake so thought I'd share this for info so others don't make the same mistake.
I was making out big time with my girl in the boate after she turned up at about 5. 15 pm. She was quite happy to go through some "extended preliminaries" for 45 minutes or so (DFK, cock massage etc) before retiring to the cabine. The moral of the story is. MAKE SURE YOU GET TO SESSION BY 5. 45/5. 50 IF YOU WANT FREE ENTRADA, otherwise take the 50 RL hit as trying to sneak a freebie a few minutes late doesn't work.
Also, everybody, and I mean everybody, in 4 x4 is asking for a tip at the moment. Vila Mimosa, 4 x4, and some of the office building "massage" spots are forever etched in my psyche due to my past experiences there. During past trips, I talked to some girls who shared ridiculously inexpensive pricing for the apartments they were staying in (not favelas), mostly somewhat close to the now-defunct Help. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into some of these apartments: names, contact info, experiences, pricing, etc.

Most of us who visit termas in Rio spend most of our time playing in Division 1 - 4 x4, Monte Carlo, Cancun and if you have the bucks in Solarium, T65 and if you have the bucks and no brains in Centaurus. In Division 1 the facilities are good, the number / range / quality of girls is usually good and costs are at least 300 RL per hour.
Division 2 termas are less well reported. Usually for good reason as the quality of facilities / girls are lower. But some gems can be found. I've visited MV30 quite a lot over the years and met some great girls there in 2010-2012, pickings (for me) are a bit bare there at the moment and the prices are approaching Div1 at 250 RL per hour, but I'll keep going back to check!
Tonight I thought I would check out some of the other Division 2 termas.
Termas 502 - Rua de Alfandega. Quite well known on ISG. Entrada is 20 RL and you get 2 free beers included. No Robes. You can walk in with your bag, They give you an entrance card which is marked with your drinks and sessions and you pay on the front desk on the way out. I was there between 7 and 8 pm on a Tuesday. Fairly quiet with maybe 15-20 girls with arrange of body types. Strangely everything stopped and the lights went up for a game of bingo!! There is a main bar plus a smaller smoking room. I was attracted by two girls with big tits. A loira branca who I didn't get to talk to and a small stacked bahiana called Fabrina that I'm going back tomorrow to enjoy. One hour is 190 RL.
Termas 31 - Rua the Alcantara Machado 31.
This is close to MV30. As you walk down Mayrink Veiga from Rio Branco, Alcantara Machado is the road on the right just before MV30. There is promotion at the moment with free entrance and all drinks are 10 RL. You have to check bags in at the front desk. I checked mine in and everything was still there (including a small camera) when I picked it up. No robes. You get a card which is marked with drinks etc. The place at 8 pm was more or less dead. There were about 10-12 girls with about half fuglies (there are some girls who should not be allowed to wear bikinis. In T31 there were 3 of them, overweight with guts and ripples of fat). There were several nice looking girls. If you like big butts there was a tall mulatta with an afro and huge butt from Bahia who I talked to. Nice girl, I forget her name but look out for the afro and bunda. I stayed about 30 minutes to check the place out then left. Sessions are 30/40/60 minutes and I think the Bahiana said they were 100/120/140 RL respectively.
Termas 81 - Rua the Quitanda 81.
This is close to 4 x4. From Av. Rio Branco walk down Buenos Aires past 4 x4 and then take the next road on the right, this is Quitanda. T81 has no entrance fee but you have to buy at least one drink. The guy on the door speaks English. He will give you an entrance card which is marked with your drinks The stairs up from the street lead straight into the boate which is basically a smallish room with a bar along one wall plus the desk where you go to pay and get your card stamped to exit. No robes. This place had lots of locals drinking and about 10 girls. I didn't stay long. Didn't talk to any girls and didn't find out prices, but I wouldn't bother.
On a walk round I found the following.
Faceclub. Rua the Quitanda 74.
This termas appeared on the Brazilian forums last year and had LOTS of activity but was quiet recently. I was looking forward to paying it a visit but its closed.
Aquarius. Rua do Acre 61. (close to MV30 on the "dark side" Closed with For Rent sign outside.
America Night Club. Rua Visconde the Inhauma 105. Closed at 6 pm when I walked past.
IN SUMMARY. Most of these termas are pretty poor quality (except MV30 and 502) but are worth a look before heading off to 4 x4 or other Centro termas as (a) I am sure that gems can be found in places if you keep looking and (b) they are cheap and so are worth a visit to relax and drink in a locals environment.You forgot Terma 119 Rua de alfandega.
This place is raw, local and full of grimy local, seedy looking characters. Probably 8-10 girls and surprisingly a few good ones. Very few owners willing to talk numbers but those that were, were looking for World Cup + prices. During the World Cup that was approx x8 normal prices or x2 Carnaval. This might not hold if demand is low but I don't see a great surge in supply. For London 2012 locals were holding out for high prices but in the end it never really materialised.
Anyway for now a good 2 bed in Copacabana in the first 2 blocks is likely to be quoted at 1500-2500 per night maybe higher. Stupid cash but during the World Cup people seemed to be paying it.

However, prices in Real were 1/4 or less than what they are today. So it was way less expensive despite a less favorable exchange rate.

Reais. Today I did a check on a 3 bed I've rented before Posto 4 beach block view of the sea (sleeps 8) and they were quoting are $3200/ night for the 16 nights). Normal rate for this apartment is are $450/ night and are $1000 Carnaval and Reveillon. Early days but don't think it will be far short of the prices paid.

Now Monte Carlo from what I hear is $370 (may $360) and the rate today was 2. 54 so that's about $145. So Monte Carlo has gone up about 34% in 6 years. Now that I think about it that's not as bad as I thought. LOL! I was paying 200 BRL for all TLN in 2008 and I have not budged from that since. I paid 250 once on my first trip. I have come to the conclusion that I may have to consider 250 BRL on this trip but I don't feel bad because I haven't given these big butt freaks a raise in 8 years. They deserve it. LMAO!
Live and direct from the streets of Rio. Checked out 4 X4 yesterday around 10:30. The lineup was a bit thin, 10-12 gals and about 8 guys in the place. I roll in the dirt cheap joints in Rio with the fly ghetto booty or occasionally pull a winner out of MC etc and see them for free (well not counting food, but that's no different to at home) -so I can have a banger for 120-180 Reais for an Hour in Divisao 2 termas with same talent-in Brazil the talent doesn't drop in cheaper places, its always a case of how far to work, does she want to be able to come and go (impossible in MC, Centaurus-semi-flexible in 4 x 4 and Cancun etc).

I havn't been to Eden Spa in Copacabana. However most massage places in Centro offers massage and a HJ. Pay an extra fee and you get a BJ. Another fee and you get to penetrate. Hi Sperto, glad I can return the favor for some of the great info you have posted on this forum.
I was in Rio about a month ago, and probably sessioned some 10 times in about as many days. Each time, I took the Linea 2 metro from Zona Zul to Saens Pena and visited either Anne's or XYZEN, and came away happy. In fact, even though I thought about it, I never even needed to visit the massagems in the high rises in Centro.
Tijuca is a great option for someone who speaks a little bit of Portuguese and is price-conscious. I found the girls at Anne's or XYZen to be attractive and mostly young (always someone to my liking available), the facilities the same or better than the massage places in Centro from what I remember from my 2013 visits, and the price is hard to beat for a safe, clean experience. Anne's starts at 70 reais for a half hour, running up to 120 reais / hour. XYZen is 100/40 minutes, 120/ HR, but was running a "promo" of an hour for 100 reais if you got there before noon on a weekday. I think, like most of the options at this price point, anal is an extra 50 reais.
Both Anne's and XYZen are on General Roca, about a ten minute walk from the Metro. Closest Metro exit is either Exit A or see. XYZen used to be Tigresas de Tijuca, if I remember reading correctly. It is located at 350 General Roca (left side of the street as you walk up from the Metro station.) At first glance, I guarantee you will think you are lost or have found the wrong place. The front of the building is a storefront evangelical church, and next to it is the entrance to an auto repair shop and parking garage. You walk into the entrance of the parking garage where you'll see a sign that says "massagems" or something like that pointing to the stairs up to the second floor. Take the second floor, and press the buzzer to the door. The guys running the garage and working there are cool and know exactly why you are there. In fact, one day when I was just scoping the place out, an older guy sitting out front smiled and gestured me over as if saying, "Sim, amigo! This is the place!" Anne's is just up the street at 263 A (right side of the street, almost at the corner.) You'll see a stairwell leading to a gate. I think dollar for dollar depends on whether you speak enough Portuguese. If you only speak English then I agree the termas and upmarket prives are easiest and English speaking escorts are expensive and often prima donas. I am not calling the guy a liar, but please understand that it is not that easy to bed terma girls for free.
