Frankly I can afford not to worry about the odd $50 or $100 when i am on holiday so I prefer not to have any hassle. In Help or even a Termas in Rio I will signal on arrival that I will pay top rates. If a girl comes by and says she wants $500 I will tell her that I will pay double when I am ready to take someone. You can believe what you want about why the prices are higher. I go to Rio and I watch guys pay top dollar and then later go on the board and blame everyone else for the rising prices. I should not have responded to this post because I know that the price increase can not be attributed to the "Americans." I know the price increase can not be "attributed" to dark skin Americans. Marcop, I am sorry you got into a bidding war with an American for a girl. That was a dumb move and I agree that guy should be made fun of. Good post Dave, just for the record I have been in help the past 10 nights, never paid more than 250 reais for TLN or close to it and once 200.
Some girls ask for 300 right off the bat and when I say 250 they say sure, had others ask for 300 and wouldn't take the 250. OK a couple of you guys were partially right - but not totally.
This was in fact a trick qestion - 2 of these girl were NOT Brazillan.
