I didn't get your point either, hence i didn't comment. I could not possibly think how someone could make a heated debate out of referring to the girls as "ghetto". 25% of all Carioacas live in a favela, a lot of the girls that work in Zona Sul are from a favela. FTShe did tell me that she worked at L'uomos. She is now a full time college student studying nursing, and will graduate at the end of Dec. I know she was telling me the truth because I met her for lunch at the college near Maracona, (Spelling). She says that after she graduates, she will leave Rio and no longer do this work.

South America is still very catholic, and being known as a prostitute is a shame.

I agree. The question is: yes, you go get consent from them to take their picture. But do you tell them you will put them up on the Internet, Tom?

For me, that's been the reason I have been very reluctant to post pictures, especially compromising ones. But to each his own.

In my experience, family members usually adopt a "don't ask, don't tell" policy about this, even though they have an inkling that something is sort of "off". And of course, everyone is happy to get a piece of the pie, especially the jobless macho men, as long as it puts the daily Brahma on the table.

The neighbors might be a different story. At the same time, if you've been to some of the neighborhoods these girls live (I have), the only response by neighbors might be envy as to the quick riches. I think it is important to inform the girl that you are posting her photo on a board on the internet so that she can gain more business (that is the incentive).

The mission statement of this board is to help fellow mongers get the best quality possible. That being said, I think faces ARE super important. I'd rather see a fully clothed photo of a hot girl than some close up of a faceless torso or p*ssy. I am especially not fond of porn style photos of penetration or cum shots. This should not be a porn site!

As for her family finding out by randomly coming across her photo on the internet. That is astronomically slim. You can lessen that possibilty by (for example) not naming the photo with her name in the filename! Google and other search engines will make that a disaster if her family decides to do a search by her name. Working girls in question is probably using a fake name anyway so if you get intimate with a particular GDP please never give her real name in your posts let alone in photos of her.

In the final analysis, we might not HAVE a photo section at all if you weight-in which all the necessary criteria. "Blue-Dot"-ing a girls face and her jewelry (!) so that she becomes unidentifiable serve no purpose IMHO except to stroke the ego of the poster.

As to the theory that posting a girls photo on the Internet might possibly expose here, I do think the chances are indeed slim (this is an English-language board, after all, and most of their family or neighbors don't speak English, plus limited Internet access and literacy, as Tom mentioned). Is it impossible? No, of course not. Does the name Belguel ring a bell?

Personally, for me it's more of an ethical issue of whether its OK to publish such photos (yes, because that's what posting a photo on an Internet board is, too!) without a girl's express consent and in such a manner that the girls can be identified. For me, taking pictures for one's private collection is one thing. Sharing those pictures with a friend is another. Publishing them is an entirely different ballgame.

And of course, if a girl WANTS to have her photo published to gain more business, that's cool.

As this is the photo gallery I will keep it short.
My rule of thumb is, if you are going to post a girls picture, photoshop her face out of the picture.
In that way, girls reps are safe, and members still get to enjoy some of their beauty.

It's easy. Here's what you would do:

1) Get any photo-editing software you like. Photoshop is the most popular one (to the extent that the term "to photoshop" is used to mean "edit a photo"), but it's expensive, and there are many cheaper and free software packages. I'll provide a link below.

2) Make a copy of the photo you want to edit (so as not to lose the original). Open it up in the photo-editing software.

3) To cover faces and/or eyes, simply draw a rectangle anywhere, fill it with any color you like, place it over the eyes/face or whatever else you want to cover, and voila!

4) Resize the photo to the maximum ISG size (longest side 640 pixels). Make sure to constrain proportions so as not to distort the picture. You can do this within your photo-editing software, or use a photo resizer such as http://www.xemico.com/photogadget/ (which even allows bulk resizing).

5) Save the edited photo.

6) Post it here.

That's the easiest way, but as a matter of fact, there are many photo-editing tools you can use in Step 3: filters to blur the face of a person, for example, a cut-out tool to make any area white, an eraser tool, and so on and so forth. You may even crop the picture so to exclude the entire face of a person (or yourself!).

I do not even remember her name. She is a HELP girl.

She will start the bidding with from R200 to R300, but will settle for R150.

I agree with Tom N Jerry for a couple of reasons. Someone in the girl's family seeing these pics is highly unlikely. Even if her name came up in a search engine (can you imagine how many hits you will get if you searched for "suzi" or something like that?), and that name/image was linked to a pic on this forum, they cannot access it because you must login to to see the pics. Correct me if I am wrong on this.

Second, without the face, the picture is not complete. After a while all p*ssies start to look the same. Face is where its at.

Rather than dictating to people what kind of pics they can or cannot post, I suggest we let people post what they want. Just like TV programs, you don't have to look at them if you don't want to! There is a reason why Jackson does not specify much about what kind of pics to post.

They're pretty obvious from the street-- gaudy pink paint leading up a staircase. You will hear the music from the street, in some cases. Buenos Aires 85 should be one, if it isn't. It can't be much more! If you go there, I recommend late morning or VERY early afternoon. Later, it is packed with locals, not all of whom may like you.

Walk around the SAARA market, and you will receive enough fliers to these cheap hole-in-the-wall places to get you started. Also, I have never had any problems with any of the locals at these places: mostly, as a non-Brazilian, you are enough of an oddity to attract attention, yes, but not of the negative kind. As a matter of fact, some of them were so dumbfound to see a gringo there, they decided to take me out and show me more of THEIR mongering hangouts. Yes, the intercultural brotherhood of mongerdom! You meet a girl in Help or outside Help, your a good hard negotiator, you get her to come to your apartment TLN for 150 reais. Its 1 o'clock in the morning, you have sex with her to 4 AM, 3 hours, and then you both go to sleep.

Next morning you guys wake up and go at it again for an hour now you have spent 4 hours with her outside of sleeping. So that's 240 minutes at 150 reais is .62 reais a minute, less than 1 real a minute.

If you pay her 200 reais than that is .83 of a real a minute still less than 1 real.

And if she was a real stunner and you really wanted her and she wouldn't budge from 300 reais then you paid her the exorbitant amount of 1.25 real for each minute.

How different is this from Centro? The only difference is your just buying her time in bulk, getting her to stay over for a better GFE rather than a quickie.

Like I said before everybody does Rio in a different way, if you prefer going on a centro termas crawl looking for that new gem of the day and going into a stall for a 30 or 20 minute quickie than that's fine to each his own, the meter is running you pay by the minute. I know guys who do this, I can go with them anytime I want but I prefer to do Rio in a different way.

The bottom line is I don't think it is any cheaper, your just paying for a shorter amount of her time and that's it.

No need to curse at the girls who work Help, they're just providing a different kind of service in a different kind of way. And if you factor in all of the other services a Help girl provides like having a couple of drinks with you inside Help, dancing with you inside Help, just having a full night of GFE of joking and conversation then by far these girls on average provide a much more cost efficient experience.
By the way I did get a GP from Help for 150R TLN, and GP's at the beach for 100R ST during the day time what can I say Im bargin hunter. When I went to centro visiting the 30R spots I did see some gems that can compare to any GP at Help. I pulled GP's out of Franks for no less than 150R's a peace during the week I was in Rio, to each his own Im 26yrs and Im not going to knock the next mongers game you do what works for you, if you want to pay a GP 200R-300R for 4 hours by all means go ahead and do that it's your money and your vacation and enjoy it.

Man...I love those 20R per 20min deals in Centro. Never the best quality, but for 20R, who cares. I did great Centro damage in Salvador and met a 6 who spent the night for 80R. I almost felt bad!

Meet them in the work spot...exchange numbers...and get great value for longer term trades...generally 100R for TLN in my experiences...

Your guide looks nice, but bringing a female guide to VM is like bringing bread to the bakery.
My advice, go to VM the first time in daylight, just before 18.00, to get familiar with the place. The next visit should be on a Friday night after 22.00. At Friday nights VM shows its best side.

I agree with Sperto. Taking a girl is like taking sand to the beach, but hey she looks like a gamer. Could make for an excellent adventure! Villa Mimosa is not for the faint of heart. The area surrounding VM is a bit scary. You damn sure will know you're no longer in (Kansas)Copa. The first time I went I felt like I was in a bar scene from Star Wars. It takes a little getting use too, but it can definitely be worth it. If you are going alone I recommend going in the afternoon. I have only been there at night and never alone.

ISG has been a great resource of information. It has helped me plan trip to the DR and I graduated this past March to Rio. With reading the stories, Bubba’s guide and the PMs from many like Ibiza, yourself, and others….I had the time of my life. I’m planning my next trip before the end of the year so I get upgraded to elite status for next year (I’m talking about my frequent flyer). Like in March, I will be solo this trip.

I met some great people last trip, but never found the time to hang out with anyone other than those Brazilian beauties, especially one in particular. I will post my week long exploit in the next day or two with plenty of pics. I hope to get some feed back and make and get some conversation going so I have a buddy to hang/meet up with down there.

I'll be back in Rio December, and I'll do my best to come up with a list and some street names in Centro for these spots. My 1st trip to Rio a good friend of mine who lives down there took me to these spots they are hidden all over Centro and some you can see, and some of them are hidden all over the place. I suggest if you are going to be walking around Centro in the night like I did you are with a crew of 4 guys and above we where all from NYC, and Philly so we had no problems what so ever got some looks but thats just about it. These spots dont get jumping to about 6pm in the evening, there are gems that you can find out there. Im 26 and Im not looking for no GFE experience I just want to hit it than split so these places work good for me, just like 4x4 my mosy favorite place in Rio.

in rio on copacabana beach there is a small stretch of beach across from the rio othon palace hotel generally known as ho beach. this is a place where mostly the woman who sun themselves there are working girls who work in the copacabana area. they come to this beach during the day to take the sun and to try to make an afternoon score as well. usually these are the same girls you will meet in meia pataca/terraco atlantica and help during the night. attached is a picture of the area but without any ho's

The small gets distorted when enlarged, just want to take a better look at her. These pics are from last April and my first visit to Rio, my first visit to a terma, and my first wild ride on a Terma mare. Thanks to fellow member "Junior" who graciously let me tag along with him for my initial foray! Since I am returning to Brazil next week for a month, I thought I'd better post these and write a report (I'll put in in the "Rio Reports" section) or my guilt might get the better of me when I head out to the termas again next week. (Yea, sure....)

"Junior" suggested Luomo for my first time. He was right; after sampling many others (report follows) Luomo made for a pretty comfortable entry into the wopnderful terma culture. We went about 5PM and the selection was excellent. "Fabiola" latched onto me pretty quickly and my little head could not resist. Good choice - she had a killer bod, a great bunda, was game for any/every thing, was raunchy and horny as hell, and it was a terrific hour.

She liked everything and really got off on the pocket rocket I brought along. I do not do well with a camera while being serviced -- I've never been good at multitasking (I get my priorities right!), so there are only a few live 1:1 shots here. I wondered why I never noticed the hotel! The place looks condemned. Thank again Tom&Jerry, I have never been in the day time, only at dusk & @ night. When you go at night you will understand what I meant about the surrounding area. Everything is more intense at night, including the smell. Lots more men and women and the little bars will be hopping. You will also notice the traffic only flows one way due the number of cabs and cars. My advice is to spend the $R20.00 and take a cab in the evening. Also, see if you can't find a wingman. I must say I never had any problem in VM, but an extra set of eyes won't hurt.

The prices are starting to rise already! But, I will stick to "never" paying more than R200 TLN!

Please tell the subject of the photo to send me an email requesting that I remove her photo, along with a scanned copy of her photo ID.

Upon receipt of this email FROM HER (not from you) with a copy of her photo ID, I will immediately remove her photo.

I DO NOT delete photos of fully dressed persons that were taken in public places with their obvious consent.

I also DO NOT remove photos wherein you cannot see the subject's face. In other words, I'm not going to remove a photo of some girl's pussy if you can't see her face in the photo.

I know very little about the Brazilian civil law system. Rapheala could easily afford the cost of a divorce if it was just a matter of money. In spite of the obvious public fact her husband was living with another woman (the past 5-7 years) that his surrogate wife and he acquired real property together, are running a small business and had three children together . . . . it was the cost and hassle to them both (Rapheala and estranged husband) in acquiring a simple divorce decree which was (so she said) just ridiculously bureaucratic. Both parties must dish out some serious cash and time away from work, to get it done, dissolved and recorded, and that is without children! Probably a better topic for another thread.

It is difficult to imgaine the effort a protracted custodial battle over a child could be. Though I am sure BB has some serious concerns, I think he should be respected to this certain friend and his/her privacy. Well, for me personally, it's more of an ethical issue whether to post an identificable photo of someone in a compromising situation (nude/semi-nude) on a website like ISG without their express consent. I tried to sample the various shades available in Rio from darker to lighter. Ranging from 100 for night, 200 for night to 200 for 2 hours.

Getting anal is very easy, just make sure to ask upfront. "culo" is understood pretty easily by all working girls. But the ones who considered themselves pretty hot, didn't agree to anal that readily.

Whatever, I think it is wrong to post faces of women in this forum without their consent: it can be too damaging. It is a matter of ethics and respect for people. It couls be a legal issue as well. It is quite possible that one of these girls sues the hell out one of us or out of the Forum. In this case, it could be quite damaging, as our own identities could be revealed.
You know, if you reread what I wrote, I actually agree with you: for me, ethically, it is NOT ok to post faces of women in this forum without their consent, and yes, it is a matter of ethics and respect for people. Even more so in terms of seminude/nude pictures or in other compromising situations. Please keep in mind, however, that this is a legal issue ONLY if we are talking about pictures taken in a private location, NOT pictures taken in public (just like no other person can claim privacy for any picture of them taken in a public location). You don't have to ask anyone to take their picture in public.

That's the standard that I abide by for all pictures I post here, and I think I have always complied with that. That's my ethics, and legally, I feel I am on pretty sound ground, too.

As to the possibility of getting sued (or the forum getting sued), possible? Yes. Likely? No. Number of one, a judge (at least in the States) would argue that there might have been an implied consent by allowing the photographer to take the picture in the first place, possibly even that since money changed hands, there was consideration. Number two, publishing pictures here on ISG is not exactly like splattering them all over Newsweek or Time magazine, so exposure is limited. And a girl that is actually working as a hooker in a country where it is legal to do so and at least consents to have her picture taken would have a really hard time to prove the damage that resulted from her photos. To say nothing of the expense involved in pursuing such a matter internationally with such an unclear outcome.

To give you an example: is it OK to take pictures of you with a celebrity in public, hey, let's say Arnold, and publish them on your website to show off to your friends? Sure, no problem. Is it OK to put them on your business web site (implying some sort of endorsement from Arnie?) No, it isn't. Is it OK to publish them with the caption "Me and Arnie smashed and whoring in Rio" (even if it's true?). No, it's not... and you can be sure you will hear from his lawyers really fast.

But I can see that the issue of taking pictures in private and then publishing them here is indeed a tricky question. You sure could NOT submit such a photo as stock photography and sell it commercially, for example (considering that you don't have a model release), like for an ad campaign. Tricky it is, legally speaking. But not having a formal model release doesn't mean that you can not publish it at all.

Who of us would like to have his face published in this forum? What could prevent one of these girls to post on this forum pictures of their customers? Would you enjoy that? I am sure that you would hate to have your face published here.
You know, that's why I don't allow the girls to take pictures of me, so that I don't have to worry about that. I suggest that girls that absolutely want to exclude any possibility of their picture surfacing somewhere on the Internet to do the same. In some European countries, you can get sued and fined by taking pictures of people in the street without their consent. There are many lawsuits of movie stars against paparazzi and the magazines that publish such photos. Fines reach tens of thousands of Euros. I don't know how it is in Brazil, but there could always be some Brazilian lawyer willing to try such a case in the USA and be paid on success fees.
