1. Bahamas is a large "boite" in Sao Paulo. It is not in Rio. Prices are more expensive in Sao Paulo. Probably should be accurate in your criticisms of a fellow monger.

BB, I don't think that anyone is trying to be a jerk, but everyone just seems to be simply outraged at the rate you paid. I have read some of your other posts, mainly London and Chile, if I remember correctly, where what you paid might be a good deal, yes, but in Brazil, it is not. What everybody is trying to tell you is that in Brazil, even in Sao Paulo, which is somewhat more expensive, you got a really LOUSY deal.
So take your time to go through the photo gallery, look at other pictures people have posted and what they paid, and you will see what they mean. Learn and move on, hopefully to better deals in the future!

If any of you have been to Bahamas in Sao Paulo, you'd know that quoting $R800 is not out of line there. For short time (40-60 mins), in a room there (which you have to pay for + $R99 entrance fee) will run you minimum of $R300. I seems like all girls want to keep face and don't want to be known to take less than $R300 ST while working at Bahamas. Yet some of them can definitely be had for less during daytime hours when they work at massage places, go figure. That's why I don't go there to f*ck anymore. To add insult to injury, I then took another ripoff taxi waiting outside the motel that charged me R20. All in all a very expensive night.
The next afternoon I went to L'uomo for the first time, had two girls just as beautiful as the one in Barbarella's which together cost much less than the girl the night before. It was then that I realized that great pussy could be had for cheap in Rio. Isn't that what life is all about, learning from our mistakes? I pay a girl what I think the experience with her was worth. If a garota provides me with a world class GFE with no attitude, I will reward her generously, oftentimes well beyond what she agreed on. If this causes somebody else problems, tough! My suggestion is to work hard (probably a totally alien concept to these guys) and increase your net worth, then such things won't be a matter of concern to you.

I think this is an excellent point you made here. All newbies should read this post over and over again until it's etched into their minds. Whatever your budget and spending habits may be, one has to admit that paying R400 at one time to a gdp is not the same as paying that amount back in '02 and '03 when the real was trading over 3 to 1 against the dollar. Yes, we all have been newbies at one point in time, and yes, we all do have stories of getting fleeced or worse. Whether some of us admit it or not is another issue. But IMHO, the important thing is: some of us might not even REALIZE we were getting taken to the cleaners until we find out later. How do we find out? Either by ourselves, through our own experience... or because others tell us so. Like on this forum, for example.
Based on the above, and considering that this board is about the exchange of information about sex with women, I do think it is OK to tell someone who posts a picture or pricing information here what we think about it, provided this is done in the form of constructive criticism and in the spirit of helping a fellow monger avoid repeats in the future and ensure he has a better experience.
As a matter of fact, I do appreciate someone like BB posting here, including the details that he posted: the pictures, where he found the girl, how much she initially wanted, what they agreed upon, how much she ultimately wanted, and the overall experience. As a non-newbie monger, this kind of information is important for me for a number of reasons:
Number one, I have never been to Bahamas in Sao Paulo (SP), as a matter of fact, I have never been to SP, but I am sure that I will visit SP at one point in time in the future, and based on the information provided by BB and others on this board, I will make sure NOT to go there. Based on information posted on the Sao Paulo board just recently, Bahamas charges an entrance fee of R$ 123, which includes 0 drinks, and they charge R$ 101 for a room for one hour. A coke is R$ 10.00, a beer R$ 18.00. So provided he took her for an hour there, the R$ 500 that BB paid for the girl (he didn't specify how long) at least cost him R$ 500 + R$ 123 entrance + R$ 101 room = R$ 724, not including any drinks for him or her! So we are up to roughly USD 350.00.
Number two, the pictures help me determine the looks (in my book, of course). Something that is not terribly important for me, as I have stated in the past, as I usually pick chemistry over looks. Yes, I have read that they all have model types at Bahamas... based on BB's picture, I wouldn't say that she was, though, not by a long shot. But that's just me and my humble opinion.
Number three, the performance-related information BB posted is important for me, combined with the pricing info, in that it confirms what I have personally found: high-end prices for less than high-end material (ripoff) usually equals lackluster performance. This was additionally predicted by the fact that she changed her price once they were in the room. Never a good sign.
Short of hitting the jackpot (finding a girl with great looks and fantastic performance who pays me!), I guess that, like all of us mongers, I am trying to find the best price/value ratio. Looking at the individual elements of this, price is a highly relative thing (depending on our individual budgets and time constraints). Value, too: how do we define value in the first place? Looks? Performance? Probably a combination of both, to varying degrees. Others are willing to pay a hefty premium for upscale surroundings and where they do the girls. I don't care. But that's me.
And based on how I personally define this price/value ratio, BB was ripped off big time. Apparently, a lot of people seem to agree.
I don't care whether BB's continues to throw away his money (it is his money after all, and if he has tons to throw out the window, GOOD FOR HIM!), and I agree with Lorenzo in that somebody else's overpaying only affects me marginally (actually, their overpaying and reporting here helps me in avoiding it). I also agree with Lorenzo that yes, we should appreciate someone's honesty, even if they honestly paid way too much.
How? By helping them do it better the next time. Unless they WANT to be labeled a sucker forever. And that's the spirit in which I am writing this.
BTW, the most interesting thing for me was seeing how much Bahamas in Sao Paulo seems to compare to Barbarella in Copacabana in terms of pricing, entrance fees, drink prices (of course, Barbarella has no on-site facilities). So in that respect, BB's post sure helped me stay clear of Bahamas in the future: because for me personally, R$ 400-800 asking price is just plain ridiculous, and I won't pay R$ 141 anywhere in Brazil just to look at girls and have a choppe. Surferr3 will disagree, I am sure, in his "hope to drop a few reals myself at those establishments in the coming months". Why do I have a feeling that your prayers will be heard, Surferr3? With that attitude, my friend, they will love you there :)

Just finished watching the video. The plot is essentially they get in a plane from Sao paulo and arrive in Rio. Then they get in a taxi and drive around for a bit. There was zero woman in the video. The entire video consisted of some dick giving a very lame commentary about Rio, of which he knew very little. These are for those who have not had the opportunity to meet Baby (pronounced Bab-ee) or Sheila (pronounced Shay-la). I took them (along with a few other hand picked girls) home from the terma for a TLN for me and my two friends. It was a night that even Alzheimer's would not allow us to forget.

Good point regarding the "guide" comment. I think I inheritied the Guide label from years ago when I had extra time in the region as was looking for people to travel with. The problem was that there aren't many people that like to travel at the clip I do so I had a few years where I went it alone. Turned out to be fantastic.
I actually have never accepted money for taking people around. I work in Latin America and take people along if we happen to be in town at the same time. I was really just looking for fellow mongers to co-party with.
I frequent Centaurus and occasionally go to Solarium, Monte Carlo, 65 and 4x4. So I'll look up L'uomo.

You'll enjoy Quito. Lot's of Columbian girls there. I stayed at the Marriott and frequented a place right across the way. If your willing to spend some money you'll have a great time. I brought to my hotel the hottest little featured dancer at the club there.

I have over 1000 pics cumulatively and a few hours of video. Not all mine but also from my friends' cameras too. Eryka was my first GDP experience. She’ll always hold a special place in my heart for this reason. An absolute GFE! With all due respect, my friends had gone shopping earlier that day after we moved into the apartment. All they brought, however, was Red Bull, vodka, juice and something similar to hot pockets. They didn’t buy anything that could be cooked or that was suitable for brunch. I joked with them as this was their idea of “groceries”. Additionally, we each had brought alcohol from the duty free shop at the airport (2 bottles each, 6 bottles total). Our fridge did have a few things in it... but it was not stocked (relatively speaking).
So, were there dishes? Yes!
More specifically, to answer your question, 10 glasses (exactly). Used by 6 people (3 guys, 3 GDP’s). Please see picture below.
Yes, I took a picture of the glasses after she washed them. As I said, I was flabbergasted. I didn’t expect that, or the offer to cook, to be included in the “package”. I took a picture just for the memory.
I also included a picture of the kitchen that I took upon arrival. You’ll notice the beach view and the unused dish rack leaning against the counter wall.
In regards to her knowing whether the fridge had food in it or not, I cannot answer that question with any kind of certainty as she was already in the kitchen when I found her. All I know is that she offered to cook. I then opened the fridge to show her it's limited contents. We instead went out to eat after our late morning action.
