A review on Jardim America;

So first time. Went there with Hub666. First time that we went out together and had a very good time with him. He clearly is a regular member at Jardim America and has excellent contacts with the girls and management there. So if you are going to go there, I would suggest seeing if Hub666 is going and open to hanging out with you.

So the day was a Weds and because Tuesday was Independence Day things were still a bit slow (as told to me by the girls and by Hub666). Arrived early and that seems like a good move because I'd say the majority of girls were all there by 10pm. I'd say that there was around 30 girls in total with the majority looking much more european that lets say what you would find at Bomboa. A good mix of loiras and morenas and the majority had very nice tans. I'd rate a lot of the girls as 7 and 8s. Attractive but most importantly with very good attitudes. I'd guess that the owner hires girls with great attitudes because he is charging a high price and wants his customers to be happy. In contrast, found that some of the cafe photo girls can match them for looks on a good night, will ask for the same price, but frankly aren't half as much fun negotiating the services with.

Shit the girls have sort of already won the price battle with the price being set at $R600, so more just about figuring out what you are going to get for that $R600. Most importantly, you need to be willing to live with that price otherwise just not worth going there. I myself wasn't sure about it and hence why I had not been there before. Curiousity got the best of me. Although it was apparent that with some girls subsequent sessions could be arranged for offsite encounters at much lower prices.

Strong plus was the facilities/location. Very nicely decorated and in a nice safe part of the jardins. Has much the feel of a private club than a boate although not sure how it feels on a packed night. Very nice area outside to sit, chat and drink and lots of windows so you can actually check out the girls quite well. $R150 min consumption fee. Best to buy a bottle of something that you can return to or buy the girls drinks (which is what I did, because I just prefer drinking beer).

By know those that have read my posts, know that I like tall, skinny young girls (of course legal age only!). So enjoyed chatting with Hub666 and had seen one tall skinny morena that looked very nice. Hub666 had one of the waiters bring her over and she was definitely a winner. Pretty tall, probably 5'8-5'9, skinny, morena, nice face, nice breasts, and said she was 19 years old. From Florianopolis (South of Brazil). Two pluses right there (young and from the south). Must say I'm sure I could have located one or two other candidates for the night, but she was really one of the few tall skinny girls there that night and luckily for me a hot girl. I arrived at 0500 in Guarrulhos and went straight to the Hilton Centro. My taxi came by Love Story and it was still full. So, I headed for the shower in my hotel room and went straight back to Love Story. Cover fee was still R$ 25 including one drink - even at 0630 in the morning. Inside were about 50 to 60 people having a great time. About 10 of them were garotas looking for a place to stay. Had a couple of dances but then decided to recover from the 14 hrs flight.

When I woke up around 1100 I followed one of Ceylon's recommendations and went to Clinica Zen. Absolutely great spot. The 7 available garotas came by, introduced themselves and gave a kiss. Quality was quite high today ranging from 6 to 9. The first girl Priscilla was absolutely stunning and the best looking one, but Amanda who was presenting herself as last one had by far the best attitude. The Hilton is only a couple of blocks away from Praca de Republica, and further down Consolacao to the Luz. Don't even think about walking here at night, unless you really really blend in as a local, or even still. I've heard gunshots in those areas more than enough times, and unless you're an oblivious estrangeiro, EVERYBODY knows that petty gangs roam around there looking for the oblivious estrangeiros with money in their pockets. This entire area is called Boca do Lixo, a famous "seedy" and dirty red light area going back to the 1950's. Lots and lots of cheap dirty sex and gay sex scene. Don't be fooled by the porno theaters in that area with big naked women plastered on the wall. They are meeting-places for gays to find partners to fuck in the bathroom. Some of them even have transvestites walking up and down the aisle soliciting a R$10 bj while watching a straight porn video (not film) projected on the big screen. While there are some normal low-end casas de strip shows, they are as filthy as they come. You'd be lucky if you don't catch something.

Praca da Se, the area with the big cathedral (next to Luz) is known as the most dangerous area of downtown. You can guarantee you will never see gringos hanging around -- for obvious reasons. Even unlucky locals get shot and killed there on a regular basis, even during the day. This is NOT an exaggeration. There was an article in the paper that reported that a young man was shot and killed at the Se for a mere R$17 in his pocket, which is equivalent to approx US$5. The only reason it made the paper was because the reporter was trying to make a point of how life is cheap for these thugs with nothing to lose. It’s common knowledge that people get killed there every day.

For the fellow below that said he walks to Love Story at night all the time, well, so did I, ALL THE TIME. The roads are absolutely dead at night, even crossing Consolacao, and does seem pretty safe to Love Story only blocks away. I stopped doing that however when a close friend of mine (a native) was chased down the street one night (on the way to boate MyLove behind the Hilton) by two guys, one holding a knife and the other, who knows what. I’ve myself been assaulted at gun point before in Sao Paulo in broad daylight (and I blend in), but I’m obviously still alive to write about it. Remember though that it only takes ONCE for something bad to happen that will end your life. You could have nothing ever happen to you and think Sao Paulo is the safest place in the world, until that ONE TIME that you decide to walk down that dark street to save R$5 cab fair. It's not worth the chance, especially when I can get to the club in 1min in a cab versus walking for 10min. I don't know about you, but my life is worth more than saving R$5. I spend that much buying the morning paper.

Some people walk right through every possible area of the world and never experience violence. Maybe you’re one of those lucky people. I just know by experience that violence is prevalent in downtown Sao Paulo, always has been, and spending R$5-10 on cab fair while roaming around from club to club is the best way to avoid it. Just wanted to give the other board members a heads up before I see another gringo get shot in the stomach.

I forgot to mention one other thing. If I remember right, Love Story doesn't even open till 1AM. It never really picks up till after 4AM most nights. Most working-girls especially from clubs farther away won't even show up till even later, after their programas are done and over with. No girl would ever want to leave right away either -- most girls are there to have fun. They don't drive for a half hour at 5 in the morning to get there only to hunt for another john to leave with for a measley R$150. So most of the time, you're looking at walking away with the girl after 6AM when the sun is up. Of course there are exceptions, but this is the average time schedule you'll be looking at.

This is waaay past my bedtime, especially when I'm already drunk, and when I need to wake up at 10-11AM to hit the late-morning massage houses, which is always the highlight of the trip. Plus, I would already want to have nutted a few times by the time Love Story starts to pick up. So, unless you have the energy and the patience, Love Story definitely isn't for everybody.

Day 4, Sao Paulo,

We flew from Rio to S. P. on Gol airlines. The price we paid for one way was r$163. We purchased our tickets in advance and as long as you have an A/E card, you can book through the internet. Their website is www. voegol. com. br. The website can be viewed in the English version also.

Here's my take on Sao Paulo. Beautiful women, traffic. Beautiful women, traffic. Beautiful women and more traffic. It took us about 30 minutes from the local airport to our hotel, the Parthenon Central Towers. Due mostly from traffic. We reserved our rooms through the internet, with the internet special we paid r$108 a night. Decent rooms and no problems bringing girls back. No extra charges when bringing girls back either.

After getting settled, we went to dinner at the Jardineira Grill. I remember this place from a previous posting. So whoever it was thank you. This is now my favorite restaurant period. The service was unblievable, the atmostphere was great, and the food was delicious. They even brought out a cart with imported beef from Argentina. The cost for the dinner, not including drinks was r$48 per person. The only negative, it took us almost an hour to get there from our hotel because, you guessed it, traffic.

After stuffing our faces we wanted to go to Cafe Photo. It was around 23: 00 when we got there (traffic, traffic, traffic). I know in recent posting stating how Photo has gone down hill. Well, being there for the first time, my friends and I were blown away. The entrance fee is now r$160, which they give you 4 tickets toward purchasing drinks. I know this is high, but we had to do it. Like the previous poster stated, it is like stepping into the Playboy mansion without the scantilly clad women. All of the women were dressed to the 9's.

At the time, I didn't know the women were not suppose to approach you unless you called them over. If you ever wanted to feel like the mac daddy, this is the place to come. All the girls were staring at us. You could just feel the stares even when the girls were behind us. I know I'am just an average looking guy, but now I know how a girl feels when all the guys are checking her out. It was almost, and I stress almost, intimidating.

The atmostphere in the club is very relaxing. There was a live band playing soft music on the second floor. It was nice knowing you didn't have to shout to converse with the girl of your dreams. I heard the food here is good, but after the Jardineira Grill, there was no way I was going to eat.

As far as the quality of the girls, I would have to say most were in the 8 and 9 catagory. We even met a girl there who was flying into New York in two weeks to do a photo shoot. Even if she was lying, I would believe her because she absolutely looked like a model.

My choice for the night was a girl named Dayane. She has a gorgeous face, slim waist, and a big Brazillian ass. She is tall, at about 5'9". Very friendly, very nice girl. She opened up at r$600, I countered with r$400. So we ended up at r$500. Yes, it is a steep price, but what the hell. Back in the room, Photo does not have on-site rooms, she gave a very wet BBBJ, I did a little daty, and she loves to dfk. After two pops, I told her she could leave. She did and didn't ask for cab fare. She gave me what I thought was her phone number. It was a number, I believe, to another agency. I called the next day and a couple of girls answered. Day 5, last night in S. P.

During the day we hopped onto the metro and went to the large Japanese community, Liberdade. We walked around doing the tourist thing and had lunch there. I had yakisoba and a soda for r$5. It's funny, as we were wondering where to go to eat, the buffet at Bomboa was just getting started She had never been to this restaurant and I told her how good it was. She was impressed. She couldn't stop thanking me for bringing her there. The taxi ride back seem quick because we were lipped locked all the way back to the hotel. Once in the room, she was like a tigress. I can see why this guy wants to marry her. She is hands down, the best provider I have had in Brazil up to this date. She goes the extra mile to make sure you and her are satisfied. This was a great last night in Sao Paulo. Tomorrow, back to Rio.

When looking for a safe but well-located place to stay, I have narrowed it down to a number of decent options:

1 - Blue Tree Convention Ibirapuera ($60US/d with Ibirapuera park nearby - is it a safe area? is the park worth being close to? is the location too 'out of the way'?)

2 - Nikkey Hotel in Liberdade (is Liberdade a decent location and worth staying in? how safe is it?)

3 - Crowne Plaza (decent deal for a nice hotel, downtown - but is it safe and garota-friendly?)

4 - Best Western Regent Park in the Jardins district (it seems to be very safe and comfortable at a decent price - US$65-73-100/night)

5 - Parthenon Privilege, Parthenon Contempraneo, and Parthenon Times SQ Colonnade (Moema area appears to be a lively and safe part of town - but far from downtown)

6 - Parthenon Les Jardins in Cerqueira César (in Jardins are closer to the center - is it safe and a good location)

Can anyone help me further narrow down my options from here? Thank you for any insight that can be provided.

Of the hotels you mentioned, I would pick the Blue Tree in Ibirapuera, or the two in the Jardins. You practically can't go wrong with the hotels in the Jardins, as it is a safer, richer area of town. It's located near the Centro, but it's on the 'other side' of Av.Paulista (Sao Paulo Times Square) which is a big division between the two distinct areas. You can walk around the Jardins very comfortably during all hours (unless you're wearing a glitter suit), as well as the Blue Tree. That Blue Tree is located in the Moema area, and it's right next to a big shopping mall (Shopping Ibirapuera), a mid to upperscale community. The park is huge, and very clean, only a few blocks away. I definitely recommend a nice walk there on a sunny day. A lot of the clubs (Photo, Bahamas, WUnico, Clinica Francebel, etc) are only 5 minutes by cab. Fantastic location.

I wouldn't bother with Liberdade. Liberdade used to be an upperscale neighborhood where the Japanese merchants used to live some twenty years ago, but they have all since moved away to better areas, and is not considered quite 'trashy'. You can really tell the difference from how it used to be. It's also right next to the Se (which I mentioned in an earlier post), which isn't too inviting. Liberdade is definitely a more 'downtown' atmosphere now than it used to be. If you're into the clubs in the downtown area, it's only a few metro stations away, so in that regard, great location, but there are a ton of other hotels in better areas worth staying in. All of Sao Paulo's best Japanese restaurants are now outside Liberdade as well, generally speaking. Some great ones in the Jardins.

Also, the term "girl friendly" is practically a Rio term, and is quite non-existant in SP. Aside from just a few hotels in this great city, none of them will even dream of charging you extra money to bring a guest up to your room. I don't remember if it was the downtown Hilton that's doing this now. If they do, it only makes sense as it is the only hotel worth staying in, right in the heart of the seedy action only blocks away. Most hotels I've stayed in haven't even bothered to require the girl to register at the counter or even show her ID. Maybe they do want you to, but as long as you're both dressed appropriately and mind your own business walking to the elevators, it would be extremely rude for them to call you over to register. Rio is all about rudeness IMHO.

I forgot to mention the Parthenons in Moema. They are all great. It's only blocks away from the Blue Tree in the same location.

If you want downtown activity, stay in the Jardins (as it is closer). If you want upperscale clubs (stay in Moema). Both very safe. It all depends on what you want to focus on.

Went to Clinica Abbóbora close to the Ibipuera Park this Saturday afternoon around 1500. The place is quite easy to find - just look for the IBM building and then just around the corner on Rua Pirapora.

The place is newly renovated with warm colors and a nice welcome area. The massagistas will not parade but you can enjoy a drink while you browse the book with the photos. I picked Fabiana and the description and photos come very close to the original. http://www.abbobora.com.br/equipe/fabiana2/

The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated and have a very large bathroom separated thru a stained glass door. After showering Fabiana started with a very very professional massage. We had 2 sessions with a lot of cudding and laughing in between. A real GFE. She works 4 days at Bomboa and the rest of the week at Bahamas.

Would I be better off skipping SP and just head straight to Rio (where I am sure a few Paulistas would be going for New Year) ?

Interesting to know that W Unico has lowered the prices.
When I was there it was R$600,- to take the lady of your
choice to their house. If you wanted a take out to your
hotel it was R$800,- for all night. I suppose it is the option
of taking the lady back to their house which is now R$450,-.
Do you know if they have lowered the price for take out
too?

W has closed down. A disco has opened on the premises called
Noctum Club. Two of the previous owners of W are still owners.
Maybe some girls are still available. I don`t know.

I forgot in my reports especially for any newbies to Sao Paulo. At the hotel you are staying at, ask for a copy of a guide book called Magazine Turismo & Hotelaria. This is a free guide book that gives information on restaurants, hotels, clubs, maps of the metro routes, and a map of Sao Paulo itself.

This is a very valuable magazine because it does have addresses to many of the clubs you will want to visit. For example Cafe Photo, Bomboas, Kilts etc. They even have some massage places mention here on the board like advance vip and others. There are even personals ad for girls if you want take out. It was so valuable to me I brought the copy I had home, and will replace it when I visit Sao Paulo next year.

Gengis Khan, funny you mentioned Fogo De Chao. The guy at the hotel that gave me the copy of the Magazine guide book, also gave me a gas station size map of Sao Paulo that was sponsored by Fogo De Chao. Try the hotel Blue Tree in Faira Lima. It is around the corner from wonderful cafe's and bars that fill up with local non-working or night off talent.

It is about 80-90 US or you can upgrade to the suite for a little more. Well within your budgt very girl friendly and they speak english. Make sure to pay for a room for 2 so you don't get the upcharge when you bring in a girl.

There is a McDonals across the street, a few banks within walking distance, a small pool on the roof and a gym.

I usually stay at the Hilton Morumbi or at this Blue Tree. If I have more free time the Blue Tree is much more fun because your right in the middle of things.

I'll be heading down in the first week on November. Have fun!

I am a bit confused over the areas.
I thought the better clubs were in Vila Olimpia near Jardins, and that that there is not much in mamoa, just residential.

So is this not the case.

I want to visit Jardim America, Foto (I think), Bahamas and Bimboa.

Also to cruise some of the mentioned clubs near the Hilton.

And try some normal non pro clubs at the weekend. Vila Olimpia I thought.

So which area would you stay?

If I need a cab from the Mamoa area to even the nearer clubs, the might I just as well stay in Jardins.

Faira Lima is close to Villa Olimpia. The bars on the back side of the hotel are jumping from Wednesday to Saturday.

You need to take cabe everywhere in SP so it is relative where you stay. It depends what you want to walk to.

Hilton Murumbi is very luxurious and has a mall attached.

I have question about Sao Paulo. I have 9 hour layover in Sao Paulo in December before going on to Florinopolis. That is the best my travel agent could do if you can believe that. What is the best hotel close to the airpost to get a room and have a garota over to kill some time. I don't know Sao Paulo at all, but for the airport.

I remember seeing the Hilton and Marriot while out smoking near the taxi line the last layover I had there. Hoping for a girl friendly place to lay my head for 5-7 hours. Is Caesar park girl friendly? What agency is best for ordering in?

You know, I can't disagree with your comments. There must be a lot of people who monger here in Sao Paulo who just read the posts. While that is indeed an option (there is no requirement to post reviews or info), I think in the spirit of this board it would be great if a few of those people started posting once and a while.

So I went to Clinica Abbóbora which Charming II just wrote about. Place is very easy to find per his comments and very close by the Ibipuera Park. As he noted the place is recently renovated. Small clean rooms with attached showering areas. Very nice set of girls avaliable there and a great price. Place was packed when I was there. I had called in for Nicole. Young 19 year old that had good reviews on www.gpguia.net. I'd rate her a 7 (in a few years will not be looking half as good, but now at 19 everything still holds well). Brunette from SP but very white skin. Attitude, she is very calm but definitely comes through in terms of services. Appears that she used to do BBBJ but now is moving towards just CBJ. I would start with the Massage places called Clinicas in SP. They are a wonderful way to recover form the long trip and get a first feel for the place. They are also not tooexpensive. There are plenty of lists with websites in this Forum. See my last posts for two very good ones.

I always stayed in the Hilton Centro which is now 30 years old and you ll see it. But it is right in the middle of lots of clubs and the cab fare Jardins, Pinheiro (Bomboa) is only about R$ 20. They are quite girl friendly - last time I did not have to pay any extras although the garota had to check in.

Best are to find good areas is in jardins and then move on for bars and clubs to Vila Olimpia.

You may be able to cut your layover by moving from the international airport to the domestic airport. Could also save you some money especially if you were to use the local carriers such as GOL (Brazil's version of Southwest).

When I priced my itinerary...
Multiple US stops then on to Sao Paolo & return $1800
Multiple US stops then on to Sao Paolo to Rio & return $2400
Adding Rio boosted my fare $600. I went with the cheaper itinerary and will either get a TAM air pass or purchase individual tickets from GOL online (voeGOL.com - thank you to the previous post!) before I depart.

I haven't been to Sao Paolo before but you might want to consider one of the clincas or the clubs with on premise facilities. Be aware the board has noted that traffic can take hours from the airport to their hotels. Allow plenty of travel time.

If you know Portuguese, you can find a lot of comments about "garotas de programa", prives, boites and "casas de massagens" in São Paulo and other cities, given by frequent users in the following sites:

I just went to Francebel today. Room rental pricing remains the same. Only difference is that the website no longer shows pictures of the girls (same issue at a couple of other massage parlos owned by the same people such as Celcenter). There were a some new girls but a lot of the same girls that used to be there before they took the pictures down from the website. Still $R150 for the hour for the standard room. They don't offer four hands, and remember to bring additional condoms if you want more than one pop.

I do think though the price of the girl has gone down. Today I only paid the girl $R100 (agreed to upfront). In the past it was always the same amount as the hourly fee. Here is my understanding of the massage clinicas. Some of them like Antares and Abbobora are "massagens completa" meaning that the girl with have sex with you for the money that you pay the house (although I don't know if she will do only one pop or more).

Others such as Francebel, Celcenter, and the Palms work on a don't ask, don't tell and that if you only paid the house fee you are most likely only going to get a handjob at the end (because the girl expects a presentinha (small gift of money) to do full service. However, I write "most likely" as it appears to you have been lucky to get full service (if this occured at Francebel, Celcenter, or the Palms) for just paying the house fee and without paying a presentinha to the girl.

The Bait and Switch Problem (SP Internet options);

My two cents. Never get a girl from the SP websites unless you can see her face. If you can't 90% chance that it is a bait and switch. Sadly some of the best bodies pictures don't show the faces meaning that like me you might get suckered. All depends on whether the girl that shows is acceptable or not but that is just a gamble (might be a 10 might be a ZERO).

Second rule of thumb, do a google search on the phone number. If the same number belows to more than one girl, then it is an agency and even if it shows the face of the girl on the advertisement, well because it is an agency, who knows, might be a bait and switch or might not. Even pressing the point that you will not accept the girl unless it is the same girl from the pictures seems to deter them. I guess they just figure you will probably play anyway as long as the girl is acceptable.

So really, if you want to know what you are getting, either go for girls that show the faces and whose number doesn't also belong to 2 or 3 other girls or go the massage clinicas and/or the boates.

I've only been to SP a couple of times but both times I had fun at Cocktail. However, I have to qualify my recommendation a bit:

1. I've always go with a local guy that's well known there so I suspect I get treated well because of the company I keep.

2. I spend most of my SP time with one of the dancers from there so I suspect that also improves the way I'm treated.

3. I've been there twice and spent $R300-400 each time on drinks for my party over the course of 3-4 hours and everybody gets tipped. People that run clubs like people that spend money in clubs.

In other words, my experience may not be typical. There are a fair number of 5-6 rated girls there but there have always been at least a few girls other than my namorada that I thought were pretty hot. Pretty hot live sex and lesbian shows.

No idea what it will cost you. I don't pay a bar fine and I give my girl $R300/day but I'm a soft touch, she's a sweetie, and I love to see her smile. I also get as much of her time as I want.

Thursday night is a better club night than Friday so make the most of it.

The private houses are the best bargain in SP. Both times I've gone to "The Yellow House" and gotten an excellent double. I think it was like $R160 for an hour.

Visit one of the high end malls. Loaded with really cute girls. A smooth talker with some time could do well I'm guessing. I'm neither so don't know from personal experience.

I take a taxi everywhere. It's not a city to be wandering the streets at night. Paranoid? Perhaps. But better than being stupid and getting robbed.

So given that the websites seem to run some many pictures of girls that are just fronts for agencias here in Sao Paulo, can someone explain why it is so hard to find the fucking agency in the first place and just have a frank discussion with them over what you want rather than getting some bullshit that you are talking to the girl whose photo you are looking at. On gpguia.net there are a couple of people talking about the following places;

I agree that SP has lots of options, but I have generally had success with the escorts. Perhaps I am a lttle more careful. First, I always call the girl and begin by asking her whether she works alone or for an agency. They are generally unprepared for such a question. If I get an operator, rather than the girl directly, I hang up (politely, of course).

Also, I look closely at girls that have more than one number. This is usually a bad sign. If I run across a girl who has the same number as the other girl, I typically won't call.

GPguia.net is very helpful. In their TD (test drive) section, you can get an idea for the girls who meet expectations. I realize the site is in Portuguese, but the TD section has a thumbs up or thumbs down rating on the girls. This is an international sign, and I have found it to be accurate. One thing to remember is that the Brazilians really love anal, and will forgive a bad performance or a less than beautiful face if their experience involved anal. Thus, a mediocre girl may be (in my opinion) overrated simply for offering anal sex. It is a geat way, incidentally, to determine of the girl does BBBJ (oral sem) and kisses.

Thanks for the input. The really silly thing is that I did ask (in portuguese) these girls if they are the same girls as the photo that I was looking at and they always said yes. Heck, I even threatened that if they weren't I was going to send them packing but they still lied. That is what bugs me so much. I'd rather they just say, hey this is an agency and tell me what the options are.

I use gpguia.net a lot and agree great source of information. I was just giving my opinion that using websites is risky and the following advice to do the following;

1. Always go with the girl that shows her face,
2. Check the phone numbers to see if there are multiple listings (if yes, likely an agency),
3. Check gpguia to see if there are reviews or warning flags
4. And lastly as you say question the girl directly to find out if she is a fraud.

Just frankly lots of steps and at the end of it can still find that it was a bait and switch! Just in case anyone thinks I am an idiot, I must confess that there were more photos of Rubia on the web site that avertised her. I was staying at the Mercure Hotel in Jardins, with rapid intenet access, so Rubia had me go back to the web site where I had oringally seen her photo. I visited Sao Paulo last year, for a week in April, staying in Jardins and mainly just called a few chicks from Malicia and Contatos etc, and had some very good experiences. As it was my first trip there, with no portuguese, I was fairly unadventurous though and didn't venture out of Jardins !!!

Anyway, on my way from the airport to my hotel by taxi at about 5 AM, we drove through downtown, then coming out of downtown before climbing the hill towards Paulista we passed this huge disco / club on my right called 'Love...something'. There seemed to be tons of really hot looking chicks venturing in there just when I passed. I am not sure if this was a normal disco or a club ? I never ventured back there. Anyway, sorry to be so vague, but I have often wondered about this place, if anyone can help me out in identifying it and giving me a rundown of the joint would be most appreciated. Very excellent point. Even when you are certain you are talking to the girl whose picture you are looking at, yet another risk is waiting for you. Lots of comment of use of Photoshop at some of the sites (www.mclass.com.br, and www.sexdreams.com.br at two for instance). Mclass actually now runs video announcements of the more recent girls. One way of getting around the photoshop is to watch the video as much harder to manipulate the image there versus static pictures.

I'd still classify that at Bait and Switch. The bait is still the picture and the switch is that she doesn't look anything like the picture. The Disco you refer to may have been Love Story (a stones throw from the Sao Paulo Hilton). The Sao Paulo Hilton is the cheaper of the two Hiltons in Sao Paulo.

Love Story is widely reported upon in these archives. Although I don't think many gringos get there.

I was in Love Story in July 04. No doubt some mongers will feel compelled to compare Love Story with Help, as both a discos full of freelancers. IMHO Love Story felt more like a local disco than Help (Rio De Janeiro). I guess the reason why was because everyone in Love Story when I was there were locals partying. I'm sure I was the only gringo in there (not to mention at 40 + the oldest).

Apparently Love Story opens about 3 AM.

I think it cost about 40 R to enter but that included a couple of drinks.

I was travelling on my own (no Portuguese) and got there about 3.20 AM and was soon getting approaches from various girls including a doable pair who I had danced with (wrapped up in) on the dance floor. They offered themselves for a menage de trois. Alas they were asking way too much, 300 R each, (and I was confident I could do better on the looks front, not to mention price).

I picked up a (twenty something) brunette Adriana (a 6 or 7) and we had some fun dancing before I took her back to the Hilton for a few hours where I was staying, for some amazing shagging, before flying out. I think gave her 150 R.

In general, I saw better looking girls at places such as Bomboa, but I enjoyed it more than that type of place (and I like Bomboa).

The best looking girl I have had in Sao Paulo worked at Bomboa. She told me that she also works at Bahamas. I'll have to check out Bahama's some day.

two posts here. first, my experience. thanks to everyone for posting. saved (or cost) me much money and, most importanly, kept me safe.

my experience in sao paulo was awesome. as promised, i made some rather funny rookie mistakes, none that got me mugged or cost me much money, so i'm grateful.

first, i took a stroll down rio augusta around noon. turns out everybody was right. during the day, it was just another street. i found the two saunas across from the pan american plus some other clubs along the way. nothing open, of course. found kilt's, cocktail and big ben for later reference.

satisfied that i'd done enough research to get me started, i returned for a quick nap.

my objective was to have a couple of beers watching the girls parade up and down paulista street. found a nice outdoor cafe' for this right next to a park called trianan. i think
that means "homos and snakes," not that there's anything wrong with snakes.

anyway, a very cool place. i ate lunch there the next day and had a fantastic filet mignon (as far as i knew) for around $4.50. good, cold beer for $r4.20, 22 oz. no complaints.

ran into a trio of guys from canada. needless to say, they drank beer. joined them for several, equating to 6 american beers. had a fantastic dinner at "rascals," an italian/steak eatery roughly on the corner of brigadeiro and paulista.

Just a few comments on a couple of items.

-Girls not looking like their photo- a lot of these girls have professional glamor shots done. ( I used to do this for a job in my younger days ) They look like a centerfold in the photo, but usually much less in person. Think about the Glamour Shots you have seen of the ugly gal next door at home. Sometimes It~s hard to recognize them as the same person.

hi all,

as promised i have started my practical investigations into the hundreds of "prives" in sao paolo. for those who are not aware what a "prive" is - it is a private house with between 5-10 women - generally it will have no sign outside that it is a brothel and these are usually the cheapest options for sex besides some of the seedier sw's.

this report is quite long because it is the first on my research - hopefully the next ones will have a similar method of operation and therefore can be shortened to address, price, girl.

so here is the first report about the "prive" i visited the other night.

here i found my first surprise, having known about the price i was expecting a seedy place, however i found myself in a large room, with comfortable sofas and a bar at the end (for those who like a drink, beer costs r$5 for a bottle - didn't ask about spirit prices).

a woman came along who explained she was the manageress (can't remember her name) and asked if i knew how this kind of place worked - i said yes (which wasn't true but didn't want to sound like a person new to this particular game - quick tip never say you don't know something - it is a sure fire way to get ripped-off).

anyway - she left and then the procession of girls began (i was looking for one i had heard about (emily) but unfortunately she was already occupied) - at the end of the procession the manageress came and asked me which one i liked. i chose a girl called melicia.

by the way if you don't like any of the girls it is quite fine to get up and go - while i was there a guy did that - for them it is no problem.

after 40 minutes a buzzer rang and i left.

i didn't bother giving a tip but am wondering what the reaction would of been (especially if done at the beginning) - like in the brothel i mentioned on my last post they only get at most 50% of the money - therefore that session she earned r$20 - give a small tip and who knows.

on the whole i think for a first time it was good practice and something i will definitely be repeating.

I wish I had done a bit more research before I headed out.

Armed with a printout of directions to Clinica Zen, my cabbie said that he had not heard of it. He recommended Romanza above all else. What a mistake. I'll never trust the opinion of anyone outside the Forum again!

I have the opportunity to fly into Sao Paulo on 12-26-04 at and depart on 12-29-04 for Rio de Janeiro. Is this period a good time to visit ? Are there lots of women in in these towns at this time? Like BA during that time frame, it will be absolutely dead. Business will be closed down for the holidays, and many of the girls will have left to be with their families. This is not to say that you will not find any girls around, but it will be about 90% less than what you would normally find before Christmas or after the second week in January.

IMHO, do not stop in Sao Paulo, continue on to Rio during that time frame. Rio is different as it has the draw of the beach and may of the girls that were in Sao Paulo go to Rio during that time as well.

1. Correct. Kilt, Cocktail and Vagao are in the same street. Rua Nestor Pestana. Big Ben is about 1 block away at Rua Augusta.
Love Story is 3 blocks away from Nestor Pestana.
2. Francebel is close to the downtown airport in Campo Belo. Bahamas is in Moema and Cafe Photo is is the opposite side of Moema.
3. Donna Cafe is about 2 blocks from Jd America and Bomboa is 5 blocks up from Donna Cafe.

Jd America closes early and Donna happens later but only a few of the girls from Jd America goes there.
Phot is take out only but Jd America offers rooms on their premises. To take girls out at Jd America is an extra 200. Take out is 800 reais.

I have spoken to friends and we all got to the same conclusion. For some reason the usual best places are going thru a slow phase. It´s up to start happening again.

Prostitution is not illegal in Brazil but the incetive or the exploration of prostituion is a crime.
They are not openly a place for sex. By taking the pictures out they present themselves as massage clinics for muscular relief.
For the girl to get paid for sex is not illegal. The problem is for the establishment get a cut of it.

I have had to change my travel plans and I am considering stopping in Sao Paulo in the week preceeding Christmas, probably December 21,22. I arrived in GRU at about 9:35 an hour late as my flight was delayed leaving Rio. It was very easy grabbing a cab outside the terminal and the cost was R79 to the Blue Tree Ibiripuera Convention Center in Moema. This hotel was a wicked good value at R165 per night booked over the internet a few weeks in advance. A very nice facility, apparently it was the largest hotel in Brazil based on the amount of rooms until very recently when the Holiday Inn put up a hotel with more rooms. Excellent service at this hotel, and very girl friendly. I highly recommend it. It sits adjacent to the Shopping Ibiripuera which is convenient during the daytime, and it was only a 20 minute taxi ride to Bomboa, and 10 to Café Photo, and even less to Bahamas.

My first stop was the well reviewed Bomboa. Entry was R120 minimum consumption. I met up with an English speaking waiter named Vanderley, ironic to meet a Vanderley because a poster named Vanderley provided me with excellent information through his posts and also a few private messages. Thank you Vanderley. Also, I should take the time out for a special thanks to Hub666, Jwadd, Photo55 and Moondog for their help, as well as the other posters. I was originally planning on hooking up with some guys from the board upon my arrival in Sampa, but after spending a blowout week in Rio with fiends I decided to fly solo at the last minute and make my own impressions. Well Bomboa as I mentioned is well reviewed and mostly recommended, but initially I was very unimpressed. I arrived later than I initially planned so that probably had something to do with it, but their was not a favorable guy girl ratio. After I had a few drinks, JW black at R36 each I started to loosen up and began to see Bomboa’s charm as I got a real comfortable spot and started seeing and meeting some hot ladies. Over the course of my time hanging out I got some good groping action and DFK’s from the girls I was interested in as the test drive is very important to me. I settled on a very hot tall blonde and she was a very good value at R200 + R50 cabine. All in all I’d have to say that there were many 6’s and 7’s and about a handful that were higher than that and I had a very good time at Bomboa. Instead of session-ing twice here it was definitely part of my plan to hit Love Story and try my luck there. By the way, if your going to Bomboa definitely seek out Vanderley as he was real concerned with my good time.

I should also state that prior to my trip, I studied Portuguese via the Pimsleur method and it was extremely valuable to be able to communicate in Portuguese. I only made it through 22 lessons of the 30 in level one and yet it was still invaluable. Many girls were intrigued by an American speaking Portuguese and they seemed to want to find out why. This was prevalent throughout the trip. I was amazed at what I could actually say and how much conversing I could do by the end of the trip. So once again, I highly recommend doing that. For my next trip, I’m hoping to complete level 1,2 and 3 for even better conversing. If anyone has level 2 and 3 please PM me if you are interested in sharing.

So on to Love Story. R50 to enter includes a drink. I might of gotten hosed here for R10. The place was very loud and again I was very unimpressed with the quality. I liked Help much better. After spending a few hours here I pulled out one of the hottest girls in the place. She was up on one of the stages dancing the whole time with another hot girl and after several failed attempts to get her to come down I bumped in to her on my way out. I also had a conversation with a very, very hot bodied girl, but she had braces and wanted $100US and was inflexible. A little steep I thought for 6 am so I passed although she did have a rock’ em sock’em body. I also hung out with a girl I had seen at Bomboa, but her personality was a little dudish so I passed. So I was actually leaving and near the door when I bumped into the 2 hotties from the stage and they were asking me for drinks and I said I wanted to leave. So the hottie I was interested in hits me with R200 and I said “Vamos”. So off we went. A word about the staff, primarily bouncers. I bring this up because my Love Story girl looked way better in LS in her club garb than she did in my hotel with nothing on. It seemed to me that she had a tough life in the favela growing up and her body although ok was a little banged up. So what I thought was a complete hottie, was an ok experience. In fact I let her go early and she was quite surprised at this and was willing to stay more, but I’ll just get a real hottie tomorrow I figured.

My day time was uneventful as I slept off a late night and a weeklong blowout in Rio and then I really anguished about what I should do that night. Should I give Bomboa a shot earlier tonight or go to Café Photo with my original plan. I arrived at my conclusion based on the research I gleaned for this board. Café Photo is R160 to enter and includes 4 drinks. Bomboa after 4 drinks is about the same. On to Photo and the original plan. I figured if I I couldn’t get what I wanted at Photo for a decent figure I’d go to Bahamas as my backup. I arrived at Café Photo around 9:30. The feeling I got about Photo was that of being invited to a party at an estate home where there was going to be a lot of girls. Very classy. Initially, again, I was very unimpressed with the quality of girls but that started to change as time went on. There are some hot girls. A lot of girls came in from out of town for the Formula one race as a lot of girls asked me if I was in town for the race. I could not overcome the lack of test drive ability at this place. Nobody DFK’ing or fondling me or otherwise. In retrospect I probably should of just took the plunge with a couple of girls I chatted up, but the fact that I was only in SP for 2 nights dictated to me that I should of have a better idea of what the girl looked like without clothes and how my experience might be. There were at least 70 girls working and R300-400 would of gotten the job done easily. Around 1 am I left and headed to Bahamas and boy am I glad I did.

Upon walking into Bahamas I knew I hit it right. As the girl in front explained to me the program, R97 entry, no drinks included, R79 for a cabine, and discuss the price with the individual girl, I was able to look through the double doors and saw lots of nice looking girls. The place had a very good energy, lots of smiling, dancing girls, scantily clad, having fun. I have traveled a lot, and sported all over, and I can definitely state that Bahamas had one of the finest compilations of hot girls I have seen. I can not wait to return. Being a little revved up from Photo I quickly consummated a deal with a GDP for R200. I really should of waited, but oh well, I’ll be back. Waited around 30 minutes for a cabine which was quite nice, with a shower and completely mirrored including the ceiling. Had a good session with a nice girl. There were so many hot girl running around it was amazing. When I came down to the club again my eyes were popping out over the place. I saw one of the most beautiful girls of the entire trip and possibly ever, and just had to tell her what I thought of her. She hits me with $200US even though I didn’t ask. I played her off kindly, I couldn’t laugh out loud like I would do with an outrageous quote from an average chick, I just simply told her it was to much. She then turned it to me and said how much would you pay. Well I had just finished 5 minutes before and was nearer the end than the beginning of the trip, so I did not have the juice and therefore was not serious about consummating at that moment. So I told her I would get with her in a little while. I regret that already, I’ve been thinking about her for days now. I also met the owner Oscar and had a plenty good chat with him while 2 smokers nibbled on my ear and caressed me. This place is the best. Had I not met him I would have been very inclined to line up some business for the next afternoon at the hotel as I did easily at Bomboa, but I wasn’t going to flaunt that after the mutual respect that was showed between us. So I stayed till close getting friendly with some girls. Bahamas was the highlight of the Sao Paulo leg of the trip and possibly the whole trip. It is worth it to me so stay again in SP for a few days just for this place alone. BTW, there were a couple of not to hot girls also, should that be your taste. The next day, I returned to Bahamas at 3 pm understanding that they open at 12. There were around 7-8 girls at that time but none of the hotties from the night before, but a few good lookers. As the time drew nearer to 5 pm more girls were showing up, probably now around 20-25 and I got the feeling that in another hour there would be some more and some real hot ones. Unfortunately I had to catch a flight and took a session from a 7 with a real nice gfe.

My impression of Sampa is it is a real good place to enjoy the sport. My friends and I are always concerned that good spots would get/could get ruined by high paying clueless mongers from all over the world and we always have these theoretical discussions on the topic, and it is probably mostly in our heads. But Sampa seemed pretty safe in this regard, maybe timeless, like it’s going to be a good spot for a long time. I’m looking forward to returning.

I’d also like to state another benefit to the hotel (besides being so close to Bahamas) I stayed at. While spending some time at the mall milling around I spotted some girls who were likely providers but were just out shopping. It would probably be quite easy to hook up during the day in this fashion. One day, I was eating a big mac in front of McDonalds in the food court, which just goes to show how far from normal diet and exercise I was, I hadn’t had a big mac in a long time. Anyway, I look up and a few rows a way a girl is looking at me smiling away. It turns out she was at Photo the night before and while we did not talk there we did lock eyes a few times. Had I not been dead set on returning to Bahamas that afternoon, a quick romp with her probably could have been had on the cheap if I had pursued it. So all in all, a great time. Be very careful with Romanza. They pad the bill something fierce, the girls help them with this, and if you are not careful, you will have a bar tab of easily close to $800-900 U.S. Dollars for a few drinks. Best advice I can give you for this club is to stay away.

It is sad that it has gone this way, as it used to be a great place. I met a really special girl there, and we stayed together for about three years.

YMMV with this club, but if you go, be very careful with the bar tab.

I gotta agree with Romanza. Of all the clubs in Sao Paulo, I've had the worst time at Romanza, bar none. They have a reputation of being one of the top upperscale clubs in SP, almost right up there with Photo, but even way back then all the times I've been there I've had the worst experiences there. The staff is rude, and the girls are way stuck up for my taste. It's not like they are hot either -- where do they get the attitude from?

The club is very small (despite having two levels) and gets PACKED mostly by men on weeknights. Don't trust any cabbies that try to take you there either. It's not like the cabbies have ever stepped foot in any of those clubs anyway. All they know is what they hear, if not getting a cut when they drop you off.

The ONLY time I've ever been flat-out rejected by a programa girl EVER was at Romanza. Maybe that's what left such a sour taste in my mouth...! Sure I've been rejected by a girl before, many times in fact, in REGULAR BARS. But a programa girl at a putaria?? I certainly wasn't expecting that! I had my guard totally down.

I've found a jewel or two there in the past, some weekend warriors from Curitiba, but nothing worth writing home about. I haven't been back to Romanza in over a year. It doesn't surprise me at all they are racking up the tabs now. What ever happened to the rumor that the club closed down and a new club opening up just down the street? Anybody know of this new development?

TravelMen: I personally find that the high end girls areno more fun than the less costly ones in Sao Paulo. Price is not a great predictor of performance. My experiences at Bomboa and Millenium, where the garotas charge 150-200 reals for an hour, have been utterly fantastic. I can tell you without hesitation, do not miss Bahama's. I'm not joking, there are a ton of hot hot girls there. I can't believe the place does not get the bulk of the press. I had it 4th or 5th on my ranking list to hit in SP as a result of the research I did on this board, and that is just a shame. I can tell you this place is a gem, RE hot girls. This Jardin America gets a lot of press on this board, but c'mon, your looking at R900-1200 for a night out at this place. To be fair I have never been there, and probably never will be, not because I can't or won't pay that much, but rather, I have been to Bahama's. I guess the philosophical debate could be made that at JA you MAY be looking at an overnight situation with a GDP, versus an hour in a cabine at Bahama's, which makes Bahama's not cheap either. But experienced mongers know how to turn these hours into allnighters and work other girls for phone numbers and such for encounters during the day, which I'm sure you do also while your out at night. This makes the most important thing for me in my mind, that I spend my time in the places that have the highest concentration of hot girls and IMHO it is an impossibilty that JA beats Bahama's based on what I saw there.

Regarding the times to arrive and what time is to late, I'll tell you what I know from my trip a few weeks ago. I rolled into Bomboa at 11:30 on a Tuesday night, quite later than I planned, I think probably 7-8 would be ideal.
There was not a good guy-girl ratio at this time, but still I found some hot available girls. I ended up closing the place, and I'd probably roll in there as late as 1 or 2 if I had to. It only takes one.

I rolled into Bahama's at 1:30am and I was right on time. I closed this place also and anytime up to 3am I would say is a go. The earlier the better of course but no problem if your running late. Definetely some hotties around till the end. I was there the week leading up to the Formula One race, so maybe that had some effect but I doubt it. I hope this helps.

Don't be so exact in planning your times and places. Just go with a few simple rules:

The best days for the clubs wil be normally Tuesday through Thursday nights, yet you will find some gems on other nights as well. Bomboa rocks on Saturday afternoon and closes at 9:00 that night. The Kilt is open on Sunday nights. Most clubs do not get going until after 10:00 or so, and Love Story does not get really going until after 4:00 a.m. Get to Cafe Photo around 9:30, and make your selection by midnight. The best will be gone after that.

Good looking girls vary with the time, place, day, her mood, your mood, and your eye. This changes by the minute in Sao Paulo, so you can not say one club is better that the other because what may be good for one person, may not work for you. Just go, have fun, and report back. That is all any of us have ever done, and it is best done without giving any of it a second thought.

You will pay far less if you can meet the girls away from the club the next day. Tell her that you have had too much to drink or that you are not feeling well. The girl pictured below was working at one of the more expensive clubs. She was standing outside my hotel one night waiting for a taxi. I got her number, made arrangements, and the next day came over and was happy with R$200 plus taxi. During all of the talk between us, money was never mentioned.

Had a short time to party on a recent Thursday night, wasn't free until 11pm. As I was staying in Moema, I chose to visit Bahamas instead of Bomboa (around the corner vs a 20 min cab each way). As recent posters have noted, there is no shortage of hotties in Bahamas these days. After a bunch of scouting, I picked one and was thinking about take out. Then we talked about price, she wanted US$300, then moved to R$500. I was not interested and moved on. Found a tall 30 yr old morena who wanted R$250, about what I usually pay at Bahamas. I also noticed at least 5 billboards advertising the club around town, even during election week. I have been living in SP on and off for over a year now. Mostly on with few months home now and then. I had the honor of being tutored on mongering in SP by some experienced teachers, but most credit goes to the infamous Hub666.

R77 Reis for me and my buddy to go in last Thursday and have one drink each. The place was packed but only one or two girls I might have consider doing.

Never having known a good weekend spot in SP, I decided to give Bomboa a try on Saturday (interest was sparked by Speculators recent post here). I arrived around 4:30. Immediately I assumed the price was going to be steep. Steep for me, because Im used to free and low price of my regulars. I immediatley countered that I did not go to Bahamas or Cafe Foto because I felt the price was geared tward foolish gringoes (no offense gringoes, Im just negotiating) and I lived here too long and know better. We argued over whether girls inflate the price on gringoes and such. She said she never did, and gave the same quote to Brasilians as gringoes. So I told her to give me the Brasilian quote. She said R200 was the least she had ever taken.

I asked her if she wanted to hear my offer. She agreed. I told her Id give her R150 for an hour upstairs and her phone number. She agreed. Gents, never did I expect to pay R150 at Bomboa or to receive what was probably a top 3 of my sexual experiences in Brazil. Wow.

My tab at the door was R198. That was with five vodkas (four are included in the R120 entrance fee) room, and parking. Ive got a new Saturday afternoon spot.

The Brazilian forums are mostly responsible for my curiousity of the following locations....and as I type these words I can already hear Hub666 in my mind saying, "What were you thinking, I taught you better!" Sometimes we just have to learn from experience for ourselves.

I left Bomboa and headed over to the infamous red light district of Rua Augusta. I drive this road quite a bit. I was always amazed at how the owners of the clubs there seemed to always let some nasty looking girls hang out in the doorway for everyone to see while driving by. Not good advertising if you know what I mean. But after reading some favourable post, I figured maybe the really ugly girls work the door, cause they dont make any money the other way. I was wrong.

First stop was the one with the best reviews, Night House. Arrived around 9. This is early and a Saturday but Im just curious. Paid R7 to enter. Found about 7 ugly girls working. Got a tour. Saw the sauna and the rooms on site. If you have ever used that sauna or had sex in one of those rooms, Id like to shake your hand. Then again, let me rephrase that, I dont think I want to touch you. One drink, some small talk, more ugly girls arriving, Im out.

On my way back to the car, I pass Taj Mahal I think, just a few doors down. Two blondes in the doorway are ugly, but far better than what I saw in Nite House. Went home as significant other was burning up my cell. Moral of the story is...Ill never go to Augusat again and advise all against it, and I cant wait to do another trip to Bomboa.

Good education, but it can be fun at times, and you can find some hidden gems walking along the streets there. Big Ben comes alive at night, and Terma Square, just across the street from Big Ben is a viable option in the afternoon.

So Thursday came and I went back to Bomboa to check it out on a week night. As I was told the crowd was huge and as I expected the men out numbered the women at least 2 to 1. I arrived about 10 and saw alot of girls leaving (walking down the street). Most the good picks were taken, some were left though. I am set to take my first trip to Brazil and will stop off in Sao Paulo (13-16 December) before heading to Rio and then Ilha Grande.

Reading the posts in this thread and wishing to stay in "centro", I elected to stay at the downtown Hilton. But guess what! The downtown Hilton is about to be shut (on 31 december) and they dont take bookings beyond December 12.

So if any of you had an alternative in mind for a "guest friendly" hotel in centro, your suggestions would be more than welcome!!!!

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. There is indeed a Mercure on Rua Araujo, which is one block from Love Story. I checked their website and the single goes for 117 reais a night for a single and 140 reais for a double (ie booked for 2 persons). Accordingly, I am pretty much tempted to book the double so that no one should be able to give me any stick for bringing anyone back - and it is cheaper than the additional 50 reais a pop.

The truth is, its hard to go wrong in Sao Paulo. Its more or less a matter of what you want to pay. All the hotels let girls in, and virtually none of them do without a fee. In my experience, this fee ranges from 35-50 reals.

One can always sneak the girl into the hotel. This is best done in large hotels, where there is a bar that is open late into the evening. Just take the girl up to the bar for a drink, have her excuse herself while she goes to the bathroom (slipping her your room key), and pay the bill to join her in your room. This calls for a little planning. The passport, computer, extra cash, etc should be safely stored in the room safe.

I have been to several Blue Tree hotels in Sao Paulo. The internet access sucks, but they are very girl friendly. They are also incompetent, and I have routinely been charged less on the final bill than I should have paid. Nevertheless, I have stopped using them. I hated the Hilton, because it is run down and dirty, even though my room was twice the size of my room in the Mercure. I loved the Renaisaance, but it was very pricey. The Mercure met all of my needs, and was practically free at $60 per night. but all of these hotels were essentially the same in the most important aspect of a mongerer's vacation: there was no hassle about the girls.

Booking a double room will get you nowhere, except of course if you register one girl for the length of your stay and stick to her. Otherwise you will have to pay 50 R each time you bring in a girl. Cerca de 60 pessoas - entre garotas de programa, funcionários e clientes - foram detidas para prestar depoimento. A polícia suspeita ainda que Maroni - que se auto-intitula "Imperador do Prazer" - esteja envolvido com sonegação fiscal, contrabando, crime contra a saúde pública e lavagem de dinheiro.

O Bahamas é umas das 30 casas suspeitas de explorar a prostituição na Zona Sul. Segundo o delegado Ettore Capalbo Sobrinho, o Bahamas não tinha alvará da Prefeitura para funcionar. A casa funcionava há aproximadamente 10 anos. A polícia achou uma passagem secreta na boate, que permitiria, segundo o delegado, uma fuga de garotas de programa e clientes em caso de blitz.

Segundo a polícia, além da falta de alvará, o empresário fez irregularmente uma passagem subterrânea ligando a casa noturna a um hotel de luxo, que está construindo no mesmo quarteirão.

Munida com mandados de busca e apreensão, a polícia chegou às 16h30m no prostíbulo de luxo, que fica na rua dos Chanés, 571. Segundo o delegado seccional Aldo Galiano Junior, Maroni dizia que o local funcionava como um hotel, mas não foram encontrados registros de hóspede. ''Como um hotel abre às 14h e fecha às 4h? Os hóspedes iriam dormir onde?'', ironizou o delegado.

Segundo ele, pelo menos três garotas de programa deram depoimento à polícia afirmando que o Bahamas era uma casa de prostituição.

Segundo Galiano Júnior, aproximadamente 240 garotas de programa se revezavam em três turnos diariamente no Bahamas. Os programas custavam entre R$ 300 e R$ 600 - pagos diretamente às garotas. Elas, por sua vez, disseram pagar taxa de R$ 17 para trabalhar na casa. ''Você tinha que trabalhar no mínimo oito horas. Menos não podia'', disse uma das prostitutas.

Os clientes de grande poder aquisitivo pagavam entrada de R$ 180 e alugavam os 23 quartos por R$ 107 a hora. Além disso, Maroni lucrava com a venda de bebidas. Foram encontradas no clube privê notas fiscais que não tinham a segunda via preenchida. Em tese, segundo um policial, o empresário poderia declarar qualquer valor à Receita Federal.

Maroni foi preso em flagrante por porte ilegal de arma quando a polícia invadiu o Bahamas. Em seu cofre foi encontrada uma pistola calibre 9mm, de uso exclusivo da polícia e das Forças Armadas.

Segundo Galiano Junior, foram apreendidos computadores cujos registros podem ser usados como provas, pois o empresário é suspeito de sonegação fiscal e lavagem de dinheiro. Maroni teria investido R$ 20 milhões na construção de um hotel de luxo, que valeria R$ 9 milhões. A polícia suspeita que o empreendimento - ainda não concluído - poderia *** sido usado para lavar dinheiro obtido com a exploração da prostituição. O empresário teria ainda uma empresa ''offshore'', instalada fora do país.

Galiano Júnior afirmou que Maroni é suspeito de sonegação fiscal porque afirmou, em entrevista a uma revista semanal e em depoimento à polícia, *** uma renda anula de R$ 30 milhões e recolher R$ 9 mil em impostos. A polícia encontrou ainda bebidas e charutos que podem *** sido contrabandeados.

Thanks for the info on Bahamas. That is a sad sad story. I hope it re-opens. When I was there I saw a make-up model of the Hotel enclosed in a glass case and the hotel was named Oscar's. I assumed it was going to be built. I knew the owners name was Oscar from reading on this board, and I thought to myself Hmmm, this guys busting out, building a hotel. It looked really cool.
Then I got to meet and talk with him. My impression was this was a rough and tumble guy, real dialed in, with all the right people, whoever they may be.

It is shocking to hear that they did not have a license, I would never have thought that. Bahamas looked to me like an extremely well financed place. How do you operate such a high dollar place with no license? I would think the small details of an operating license or whatever it took to have one would have been ironed out long ago. The other charges I could see.

Short report on Sampa, based on spending 4 nights there last week. Stayed in an apart-hotel in the Jardins area, R120 a night and didn't have to pay extra for the garotas. The hotel also let the garotas park their cars over night for free in their garage when we got back - a free parking spot came with the room.

Went to Millenium last night with a brazilian friend. It was Thursday, and the place was packed. However, although the girl:male ratio was rather low (approx 1:1), had a terrific time.

I had not been to Millenium since August, and remembered a different price structure. Without going into what it was, you should know that it now costs 70 reals to enter (this gets you 7 beers or three scotch's), and 70 reals for the room. The big change is that the girls can now charge whatever they can get away with. In the past, the house had a rule: 150 reals for cash and 170 for credit card. Just a quick report on my SP trip.

Firstly a great thanks to Raiders, BiggieSmalls and Moondog for meeting up. Three great guys who know the scene as well as any one.

So:

Francabel: As reported a great place for day time action. I had a great hour with a lovely girl, and a good performer. I got there around 2pm and most of the stunners were not available.

Donna Café: Went there one night. It was pretty dead and expensive for what you get. Took a girl from here who gave me a good time though.

Jardin America: The guys took me here and got treated very well. I think I saw the best girls in SP here, all be it at a price. Also, later in the evening there seemed to be more guys than girls. So go early, before 10pm.

Moulin Rouge: This had some nice girls and much lower prices than the normal places. I didn’t take out though.

The second I took out was the WORST experience I have ever had. Guys, AVOID this girl. She came to the hotel and I paid her the 500 plus taxi money.
She makes a phone call on my hotel phone which I later find out was international (50 Reas). And she orders room service. Then before any action starts she runs out.
I actually went back to Foto and complained to the manager. He told me she would be fired, but I doubt that. He also promised to email me after he had spoken to her, but never did. It was my last day.
So to avoid this crook, her name is some thing like Garuta, she is blonde, young with a good body, and a tattoo of a dragon on her back near the shoulder. She seems to arrive early and likes to leave early. Also wears expensive designer stuff. I know how she can afford that now. She boasted about her $400 Prada trousers from Italy.
I also think she is connected’ ?
When the hotel (renaissance) asked her to register she just dismissed them in an arrogant fashion and they let her in. Every other girl was forced to register.
In Café Foto she approached me, which is against the rules. No other girl approached me when I was there. She seemed to know that she could screw me over and that there was nothing I could do.
If any one does see her please PM me, or report it. Then we know that Café Foto could not care less about us visiting gringo’s.

Love Story: I went here late after my bad Foto experience. A crazy place, and worth a visit. At 8am I took back a cute blonde who I think works at Vagao, for a bargain price of 100. The funny thing is, that out of all the girls I had there, she was the best.

Thanks for the advice! Well I arrived here last night. My trip on the airport bus to Jardins nearly took as long as my flight from BA (an hour and a half) and was feeling pretty dead last night so just had a walk along Paulista and a nice meal around 10 pm, not much action around. Today, after admiring some of the gorgeous lunchtime women on Paulista I decided to be brave and venture downtown. Last time I was here I spent 5 days playing safe in Jardins / Paulista so was determined not to be such a pussy this time.

Anyway, back to the chicks. If anyone wants to meet up to tour some clubs would be more than willing. Am an experienced monger in BA but not here. Well, this is my second night here, and I still haven´t got laid !!!! There seems to be an inverse relationship between research and getting laid, ie I went back into the internet cafe tonight to check a couple of details before heading out. I thought the club Millenium was on Avenue Brigadero Luis, which I know, but now it appears that is another bar with a similar name ?!?! The correct address for Café Millenium is Rua Coronel Diogo , 1199 - Jd. da Glória (Ipiranga), correct ??? How far / how much would that cost from Jardins by Taxi ?

On checking www.gpguia.net several clubs seem very well frequented and get largely positive reviews, but I do not see anything about them on the WSG reviews. Has anybody been to Tivoli night club (39 reviews), Connexion (245 reviews !!!!), Baccos Night club, in São Bernardo do Campo, wherever that is ?? (71 reviews), Vagao Plaza (47 reviews), Black Moon (65 reviews).

Next question. Is there any point trying the clubs on a saturday or sunday night ? Are any of ther clubs on Rua Augusta worth visiting, doubt it !!!

Also, for the massage parlours, nobody seems to mentions the Cherry massage parlour (555 reviews, 477 of them positive). Clinica Kin (224 reviews) or Quatro Estacoes (111 revues, 96 positive, although girls do not look that great to me !!!), Clinica Malicia (43 reviews). The web sites for most of these massage parlours show the girls, unlike for Francebel, I have just checked them all.

This is a note in the category of, "its good to know this is really true."

I was at Bomboa last Wednesday, and I was talking to a tall and rather shapely 21 year old girl when the manager came out and took her off the floor. Entrance to Millenium was 70 reals including 2 drinks, or 1 if a spirit (although I had 3 beers, played pool and it was still only 70 reals). Entrance to Kilt was 35 including 1 drink (paid 38 on exit including the stupid extra tax). Big Ben was 1 drink minimum (15 reals). My Love is closed as to my prior report as some work is going on there, maybe they are repairing the damage from an uzi inspired shootout, ha ha !!!

Anyway, tonight I will take it easy cause the clubs are all shut but tomorrow night I will be in Big Ben (Rue Augusta) from about 10.30 - 11 PM, so maybe see you there guys!!

I've done the same damn thing. I've spent half my mongering day going through the details.

If you're not going again and again to Sao Paulo, I suggest you go to Bomboa. Go early evening, go hungry and thirsty enough for 5-6 drinks. Those things are included in your cover price, so you don't want to waste it.

PROMISE yourself you will spend 90 minutes prior to choosing a girl. PROMISE you will test drive 3 girls on the main floor before going upstairs. If you violate either of these rules, PROMISE that you will stay long enough to get horny again, and take another girl upstairs for $65.

thanks for the map. jardins is a very nice area, a bit like san francisco to walk about. it is basically pretty borgious (i can´t spell that word !!!), full of little boutiques, expensive jewlery shops and art gelleries(rua oscar freire). a street i prefer is rua augusta in jardins, more down to earth shops, cafes etc. jardins is set below avenida paulista, the huge boulevard in uptown (business district, shops and restaurants). the clubs are rep001tered around sao paulo, though several of them are located close to jardins, but not in it (ie downtown, moema, pinheiros). i think it is a good choice to stay in for these reasons and also because it is totally safe in the day and still relatively to walk at night. many of the internet girls live her, which can be handy. i just had a great session with alexandra from sexdreams.com.br (at her place in jardins). talked her down to 100 reals for a half hour, am sure i stayed more than that. i do not see the point in paying 200 real for 2 hours if i am only going to last a half hour. last night i headed to the club jardin america with my canadian night patrol partner.

told the taxi to wait for us while i checked the price. 150 real just to get in with 1 drink. fuck that !!!! continued on to connexions, the club i said received so many good reviews on gpguia.net but that nobody seems to talk about here. negotiated a fixed price of 45 reals for the taxi there, which was a good deal as it is at least 15 kms away (in zona este). damn these brazilian kids never shut up, somebody should tell them an internet cafe is for using the internet, so just shut up or fuck off, they are driving me nuts !!!

I was in Sao Paulo and Rio around Thanksgiving. Sao Paulo is a bit more expensive if you go to Bomboa and other boates like Millenium and Connection.
I was a bit surprised as I love Rio but garotas at Millenium and Connection had better bodies for me but Centaurus in Rio had great faces.
Bomboa is such a fun place I ended spending too much time, under 400 garotas are registered there but expect closer to 200 on any given night, 90% are too old or out of shape so that leaves 10% or 20 garotas from pretty to plain gorgeous. Entrance keeps going up so now it is not so overcrowded on Thu, entrance is R$120, room or bar fine R$50, garotas expect R$200 for short time, R$400 for tln and the good looking ones would rather not do tln. Despite my harsh look on selection, I did not session with less than an 8 and did a 10.
Millenium had a great selection, main problem for me is at Connection and Millenium kissing is a no no inside the club, garotas will get fined if they get seen making out. Millenium had about 80 garotas and I have to say more than 1/2 were pretty and I mean some hard bodies to die for. I did not have enough time to do a thorough study of the club but the club is too dark inside so try to check the garotas inside the restaurant. I got the feeling that enough garotas might pass my interview. Millenium was the only place that gave me buyer remorse as I went there only 1 night. Entrance is R$70, room R$70 best suite except no mirrors, garota between R$150 to R$200. One good thing about Millenium, I was the only non brasileiro on the place.
Connection has a very good lineup as well but a few older garotas too. Too many garotas failed my interview so I gave up and accepted session from a 6 but quite a few 8's in that place. Entrance is R$40, room and garota R$160. So most affordable boate in SP.
I am not a cafe Photo fan nor Bahamas Club so no action on my part.
I tried couple of escorts Abany Ferrari, great in bed despite being a pro at 19. But very cute face with average body so highly recommended.
I also got Mel Castro, very average looking maybe a 6.0 so not recommended.
I usually read gpguia for escorts reviews, I had Milene Mark and Isadora Carolina high on my list but I could not connect despite trying every day almost. I was able to contact Drika Loirinha but too busy, she did sound nice over the phone, she works out of Moema.
I went to visit Carolina on mclass, while on mclass she looks like an 8, she was a 5 so I skipped despite walking a few blocks to visit her in Jardims.

I don't know how to rate Connection as I was getting bad vibes from most girls but selection can be ok to excellent depending on your luck. Expect over 100's to choose from.
Bomboa trails in the middle of the road for selection but the cream is excellent quality.
Other rio termas are lagging at the back. Help is plain too crowded right now, I did not see anyone interesting except maybe Gisele.
Barbarella is awful, just skip it.

Had a two day one night stay in Sao Paulo and we went to Cafe Photo. We went there around 9:30 to beat the crowd and have dinner. Their food is very good. Especially, there filet chopped up with mushrooms and Madeira sauce.

The entrance fee of $ 100R gave you two drinks. The drinks for the girls were
35-80R.

The girls are not allowed to say anything to you or ask to join you. They just walk by and show their wares or flash you an inviting smile. The level of talent there runs from 6-10, obviously YMMV.

Bahamas is up and running. I went there a couple of days back and took a girl back to my hotel. Many, many girls there. Quite expensive to take a girl back as you pay for a cabine that you will not use and you pay an entrance fee. Drinks are on top. I paid 330 reals on leaving. And 400 reals for the girl for a couple of hours. It can be an expensive evening.

Watch out for a guy in Bahamas (a customer) who calls himself Gregory who will order a drink and get the barman to put it on your tab. I got talking to him when I walked into the place. He is American, in his 40s, and speaks Portugese. He says he has lived in SP for 30 years. He also says that he was a partner in Cafe Photo and sold his share "at the top". BS, of course. The girls I was talking to, spotted this happening and alerted me and got the tab corrected. I did not want to cause a scene and confront him, so I let it go as my tab was corrected. What a low life a*****e !

I had heard of things like this happening. I am not going to talk to other guys in a bar unless I know the barman/waiter. You never know the sleaze you might run into.

Spent 1 night in SP before hurrying to Rio. Just made it up to the Rua Augusta. Many SW out, some even in the 7-8 range. Took 2. One was a real loser...as soon as she got in room, she began to complain. Of course, she was hot, and demanded the $$ up front 100R, and barely gave me the barest minimum of service and took off (after trying to pump me for another 50R). Later that night went back, and took the second one. She was a real sweetie, and a solid 8+ in my book. 80R, but still asked up front. She gave me true Brasil service, and the word ´no´was non existent in her vocabulary. Stayed over 2 hours and true GFE.

The next day went to look for Cine Globo, and the 8 floor building mentioned by cylon1 and others. Found the Globo, but it was just a big porno movie. I dont enjoy watching porno with 20 other men all around me. An ugly woman came up to me and suggested programa, but I just left. Total 5R. YMMV. Went to look for the Edificio Italia. I didnt notice in the original post that it was Edificio Italiaia, so when I got to the Italia (an upscale shopping mall), it was real fun to ask the desk guard where the 8 floors of *****s were. He just looked at me with a crooked eye and shook his head. Will try to find the Italiaia, next time.

I'm on my own this time, so any suggestions for Hotels that are near the "action", and in the $75/250R range?

It seems that there is "action" sort of downtown, or in the Jardines area.

I was in SP for a quick pass-through the other day and went to Cafe Photo near Ibupuera.

It was a slow night (Saturday) and was a little (make that "slightly") disappointed with the selection (although it seemed to get better as the night progressed). The facility itself was top-notch. Absolutely beautiful facility, excellent bar service. I didn't order any food but it looked up to snuff as well.

My question is this:

There seems to be more than one location for Cafe Photo.

Is one location better than the rest?

Thanks for all the help gang. I'm hoping to spend a longer period in Brazil over Carnival. I got one poor quality photo from my brief time in SP...and hope to have some more stories and photos to share from my longer trip.

Was in Sampa a few weeks ago, missed going out on Thurs nite but got to Photo on Friday. It was the week after Bahamas was closed, and I was staying in Moema (didn't want to truck up to Bomboa). The hostess was very helpful, introduced me to several English speaking ladies. I spent some time with one, she was about 5 ft 5, very thin, blonde with a great butt. She claimed she had been working there for less than two weeks (right). When we got down to business she asked for $R1500! I joked that that must be for the whole weekend, or else it was tourist rates and told her I had never paid more than $R350 plus $R50 for a tip. She said $R400 was fine (with a straight face), so I went for it (only because I had invested an hour chatting and she was pretty hot). Back to the hotel, she was a tigress in bed, so it ended up being a very good experience (though pricier than Bomboa for sure). I'll probably try it again sometime, but it's more work than some other places.

Two good choices are the dowtown Hilton (the one near pr. Republica) and the Mercure Hotel (of the Accor chain). Both are business hotels in the 30-75 USD/night range.

Both are girl friendly and each one is basically the left and right neighbor of Love Story -- the epicenter of sex in S.P. (more or less). This area is also my favorite part of S.P. -- everthing's in walking distance (and the "mugging level" around here isn't too bad) w/ plenty of restaurants/shops around.

The Hilton is also more or less next door to my favorite "quick time" motel. I usually don't like taking chicks back to my room.

I do not think you should be telling people about 'articulating their intelligence', etc, since quite frankly, the level of your written english is rubbish and you are barely articulated anything !!!!! Anyway, I rest my case, an internet cafe is for using the internet, with a minimum of light chatter, it should not sound like a fucking football stadium inside. It has nothing to do with diversity or appreciating other cultures, just common sense and universal manners. It was only one internet cafe like that (Monkey), not all of them.

So Bubba Boy, thanks for the complement my man, and Off2golf, chill out, go play a round or something, learn English, and get a job as the economist cultural correspondant for south american shagging zones. For the record I absolutely adore Brazil, its culture, its women, its food etc etc.

I recently spent 10 days in Sao Paulo, and have been back in sex prison UK for a week now getting cold and bored !!! Anyway, my last few nights went something like this.
