I avoid the taco stands and carts on windy days. You are more likely to get sick from airborne shit and boogers than on calm days.

If I violate the above rule, I spend a day or two on the toilet...

I read somewhere recently that an analysis of TJ tap water came out cleaner than San Diego water...

My point is that you shouldn't get sick from washing your hands and then sucking your thumb.

Country John

Sorry CJ but I’ll have to disagree with you here on this one. People absolutely do get sick from contact with contaminated water, especially in Mexico. To clean your hands well with contaminated water you must have strong soap and very hot water. How many of us wash our hands with water almost too hot to the touch?
Granted you have a point about windy days due to the general pollution of the streets, but the groundwater around the Tijuana area is extremely contaminated due to a poor sewage system. The water treatment system in TJ is no more efficient than anywhere else in Mexico, and the news of safe tap water in TJ would have made national headlines here. It is that unbelievable. Contaminated tap water in TJ can be in ice, it is used to rinse vegetables and dishes. Improper food storage and preparation is the next culprit of Montezuma’s Revenge.
You live there and your body has had time to build up its defenses, most mongers don’t put in the hours required to develop a dependable immune system. There are countless varieties of pathogens. Some hit one person hard, while the next person will hardly be affected. Pathogens are very small and it only takes a few to get things started. What puts a small squirt in your dump can put a gringo in bed for days with stomach cramps.
A lot of you will probably roll your eyes when I say this again but I’ll do it anyways; take a Peptol Bismol tablet before you eat (but not before your ED helpers).and you won’t have problem with your meal, and DON’T DRINK THE WATER!

You are probably correct, I don't have the balls to verify the story. It was posted on one of the boards by a monger who decided to test the sample to see how bad it actually is. I have no first hand experience myself and, like I said I don't have the balls to try!

When I eat at my favorite taco stand on normal days I have no difficulties; every time I ate on or just after a windy spell, I got sick. Lessons learned.

Yeah I think so too. It wasn't that bad though. If anything, with how good that seafod is, it's worth it. :D

Thanks for the post Jackie888. Since you were down there for Easter could you give us some general information on the number of girls out. Also, was anything normally open closed.

Like others I often search for posts written around the holidays when I plan to go down for that holiday in a following year. I was about to do down this year for Easter weekend but saw a post somewhere saying many girls take Easter week off.

thanks,

TJ

This report includes visits on Thursday 4/16/2009.

PARKING. I parked in the $8 lot rather than the Jack in the Box because it appears to me that it offered better security. So I was willing to pay the $3 premium.

TRAVEL. The border was patroled by Mexican Marines + Mexican border police. Upon crossing the border, I paid $3 to Taxi Libre for the trasportation. I always pick an older driver even when stuck with the yellow cab cartel, which I despise. They drive more cautiously, keep the seatbelts in their car in working order and not badger you for tips. I'd rather not start out my vacation with by fighting with an asshole taxi-driver.

ADELITAS. I think it's because of Easter, but this place was sparse. The ladies tend to be older than in the past. So they looked to be in the 24-34 range. However, they don't blast the music as loud as they used to, which is a nice retreat if you get burned out later. Price was 50-70 USD, or 600-800 Pesos. They will take pesos for drinks. The waiters are less pushy than other clubs. This place has melowed out since I've last visited. One big bonus about Adelitas is that the ladies generally speak English.

Hong Kong. Here, the ladies are younger but are not as pretty as Adelitas. But there are more! There are two types, one group wearing slutty clothes and the second group wearing conservative black dresses & miniskirts. I was first under the impression that the conservatives don't do the nasty thing. This is wrong. They do everything the other group does. The only difference is that they don't do the go-go dancing and strip show. Upstairs, private dances, etc. Everyone does it. Price was 50-70 USD, or 600-800 pesos. One thing I dislike about HK is that the ladies generally don't speak English, and that they blast their music. So you end up yelling a lot and you can't tell whether the ladies can't hear you or can't understand you. The best thing about this club is that you can practically get any lady to sit and play with your piece for a price of a drink. Personally, I like the lap dance. Yes you can bone them for $72 (60+12) and the dance is $20. But I see it as sampling. Maybe I'm picky, but I don't want to waste my 1/2 hour boning a real ***** of a woman. My time and energy there is as precious as my dollar.

MINOR CLUBS. Didn't get to flavor them this trip. But I did poke my head inside. Other than the one right next to Hong Kong, they were insufficient ladies. What I don't like is they like to turn the lights down. So you can't see whether the ladies are less attractive or not.

DRINKS. They still cost around $3 each. I tend to get a beer upon first arrival. But then I purchase a water bottle afterwards. You can take it to other clubs (provided you hide them upon entering), wrap a napking around it and walk around without being harrassed for drinks.

EAT. I've the world's weakest stomach. So I stay with the restaurant next to Adelitas or the Chicago club. I'm workign my way down their menu. I suppose I'll venture out to other places after I finish the menu.

PESOS. I tried using pesos to save money. However, my inabilty to speak Spanish and the inability of the ladies to do simple math, it's been a real pain. From my experience, the ladies think in USDollars. Then the convert it back to pesos. What ever romance or heat you have with a lady before you negotiate evaporates by the time you lock down a price. So unless you can speak Spanish, stick to USDollars for the ladies.

SANITARY. I try to wash my hands a lot, particularly BEFORE using the restroom. If you're like me, you like to touch as you go through a club (hey I'm a prevert, my hands go everywhere). So I do advise my fellow man to wash their hands clean of bacteria prior to handling their piece in the bathroom. It's a shame to pick up a STD but it's outrageous to pick it up without engaging in actual sex.

OUTLETS. BTW, if anyone wants to do some shopping, there is a minimall with outlet stores about 1/4 mile from the border. Turn right when you get off the final exit. Much of them are for guys. Nike, Adidas etc.come to think of it, the marjority of them are for guys unlike other outlet malls.

Hmmm. Maybe they know something.

Tijuana Fanatic: Both the day and evening shift was down 60% at Adelitas. About 20% down at Hong Kong. About 50% down at the bar right next to Hong Kong. Chicago had about 3 ladies in the entire place in the day time, I didn't return in the evening. Shops were open as usual. But I was down the Thursday following Easter, not Easter weekend.

Efjayel: I didn't see the younger crowd. I think news of the Mexican violence scared them all away. If not the news, then the SWAT team patrolling the Zona. Most of my fellow man were in their 30s and above. The ones in the 20s were clearly out of college.

Forgive me if I"m way off base with this as I'm a relatively new POSTING member to this board but I'm a member of other boards reguarding other subjects and one of the things one of my groups does is have "member meets" certain dates set in advance or on short notice where members set a date and time and place to meet and share experiences.

Would this be something that the fellows here at ISG and in particular the TJ board would be interested in doing?

Normally in the states mongering is a solo sport. It's very illegal not to mention there is ALOT of competetion by mongers to pick up the same girls so much as to where I've seen actual shoting matches erupt between mongers going for the same girl and blatant traffic violations trying to be first.

However in TJ there is so many girls peddeling their wares both in the bars and on the streets I'm sure that this wouldn't be much of a problem and it would give a chance for us mongers to exchange war stories and information.

We could even have T-Shirts printed up or maybe buttons so that ISG mongers can identify one another with our usernames printed on them.

Again if I'm way off base with this I apologize but I thought it would be interesting. Plus it would give me a chance to have some company to talk to as I will almost always be alone when I travel to TJ.

I'm only a TJ newbie and had my first trip last week however I'm already trying to save up more money to head out to TJ once again. To do so I've started putting 20 to 40 bucks away in a piggy bank every time I am tempted to monger here in the states. When it gets to 300 it'll definately be time to go to TJ again.

Chicas take the religious holidays off. I pity the poor priest who has to listen to their confessions.

“Forgive me Father for I have sinned, my last confession was three days ago.
Since then:
I sucked and fucked 47 cocks
23 of them fuck me in the ass for a few pesos more.
Most were average in size. Several were small and from Japan, they gave me a lot of money so it was O.K.
There was a couple so big they could have choked Linda Lovelace, I did the best I could. It hurt when they fucked me, but it was a kind of hurt that felt good; is that a sin?
10 of them came on my face. The big ones I did with a smile, no charge.
I did 5 lesbo shows with my girlfriend with big tits, she shoved a dildo in my pussy while a room full of drunken guys cheered us on. If I liked it, is that a sin?
I made 1000 dollars but told my family in Cuernavaca I made 800. I sent them only 400. The difference I spent on crystal meth.
By the way Father, if you give me an easy penance, I’ll suck your dick real good.”

Most of the frat boys goes to Rosarito beaches to chase the sorority girls. Those days are long gone. I was watching the Mexican news during spring break and they did an aerial shot of the beach by Rosarito and Playas highlighting the point that it is dead compared to a couple years ago. When I was in high school I remember that place being crazy. I have been told that the Universities have all put the fear of god (or Mexican mobsters) into the coeds, and cut the free shuttle they once had to the border.

I once saw a cameraman outside of AB. Not sure what he was recording though. Did this person that was making the documentary mention a name or where this documentary will be shown? I'd be interested in watching it.I saw clip of some loser claiming to be making a documentary on the zona norte, but was not impressed in the least. Although I am not a 100%, I think that he is some how associated with the San Diego Reader (weekly free newspaper).

From what I saw, this guy has no clue about Mexico, no clue about Tijuana, no clue about the zona, and really doesn't have anything intelligent to say at all. He is interviewing himself by the police station across from callejon coahuila, and there are like 3 chicks with their back to him. He interviews this old crack head lady that is always trying to hustle people at night.

All and all it reminded me of the wannabe travel guides on youtube, the ones with no insight or thought. It is like a newbie speculating on the zona after his first trip. Really a waste of time, and an invasion of a lot of people's privacy.

You would be risking your security by posting a meet.

You would have no idea who is who for real.

I could put on any name tag cause you harm , if I was so inclined.

We use this web site to tell war stories and exchange info.

To meet with people would be fun but the risk would be great also.

Making plans via pm would be safer but there is no way to no for sure what would happen.

I can understand about feeling safer among a group but you need to know the group beforehand.

I think you might be talking about this documentary. I saw it years ago and have a copy on VHS. It is worth owning just to laugh about. But nowadays you can probably watch it online somewhere:

He took a real, ugly crackhead up to the room with him and she fell off the bed!
He did have some shots of Adelita Bar, but the faces were blurred.

This guy is making a much newer version, and has some f**king delusions of grandeur. On his blog he says he is making this documentary for Cannes and Sundance, BS!

I don't even want to put the link down as to further promote him. If you are that interested in finding the video, do a google search for "a day in the zona norte". He has hosted his video and several video sharing sites and has a blog.

Personally, I think this j**ka** gives gringos a bad name. He is making some ignorant generalizations of Mexico and Mexicans, and he is clearly in making street girls uncomfortable, after they have made it clear they don't want to be filmed.

If you want to do a documentary, then do it right. Get someone who knows what the hell they are talking about, pay some of these people, develop relationships, but don't take without asking.

I googled the site and saw a trailer for the new docu. I too doubt it is Sundance award material to be honest.

These days people seem to think that anything that deals with "Latinos", no matter how sterotypical, will be big. The zona is a small part of TJ and TJ is a small part of BC, which is a very small part of Mexico.

Anyway, I hope that guy did not catch me on camera.

That woman Yolanda in the video puts TJ to shame and she makes people think that only American drug junkies come to the zona, she's obvious a deported crack head running a mongers info help for a buck.

That guy is a jerk. I hope he gets jumped, his ass kicked and someone breaks that camera over his head. He shouldn't be recording anyone that doesn't want to be recorded especially in the Zona.

I also agree that this doesn't look like anything worth winning an award. Someone should register to that site and tell him off about recording the girls. CJ, I know that cameras are not allowed in the bars but what about outside the bars? There should be some kind of law in effect for that. Protection for the girls and mongers.

I'll be leaving about 9:00 a.m. on a Monday morning and driving as fast as the CHP will let me. ;-)

I realize it's impossible to predict traffic in advance, but I'd appreciate a ballpark estimate on how long this drive will take.

make sure to take the 73 toll road through oc (get on just north of san juan capistrano and you'll meet back up with the 405 by costa mesa/uc irvine), that will shave off about 10 miles and a whole hell of a lot of traffic, but seriously, that is a miserable drive at that hour.

realistically, i would get up as early as you can to do that drive because traffic in southern california is a nightmare, and you are going right into the heart of the beast.

i would not expect to be driving full speed for much of that distance.

The Flu virus is very contagious by air borne and by contact.
Maybe impossible but avoid large crowds like bars, clubs, malls movie theaters a lots of people waiting in line.
the more people around you the bigger the chances of getting the flu.
No joke, wash your hands after touching door knobs, taxi cabs, best yet wait at home until this shit clears, it should be over in a month or so.

There is an unwritten rule that cameras should not be used in the Zona. There are private persons there working, private mongers there and nobody wants to be on camera. The girls want to hide their identities for the same obvious reasons mongers do.

Some people believe however that none of that really matters and if there is a buck to be made, then to hell with the privacy of others. That's what is going on here because if anyone were to actually "document" the zona, mongering would be a small part of the picture.

I have been going every other week, but this is the first time I'm thinking of staying away. The morning commute was normal, but the border patrol lady gave me a hard time about bringing back pork tamales, and misquoted the death toll of the virus. She said that 2000 people had died and that I would be crazy to eat pork. I had the newspaper in my lap and pointed to where it said 103 people were dead, none in Baja California, and said, "wow, that is a lot higher than I thought". Stupid lady then told me it has been all over Fox News and that I should be paying attention. But she let me take my tamales across anyway.

I don't think there is much to worry about in the big clubs. You should get one of those cool surgical masks, and avoid being next to people coughing a lot. The HK will send girls that are sick home for the day, and I would suspect the girls will avoid sick mongers. Shows they are looking out for it, and don't want it to interfere with business.

I just want to wear a surgical mask everywhere I go, and cast a condescending eye on anyone that coughs near me.

Aside from the threat of the flu, our border closes if we hit stage 6 (we're currently at 4). And as far as I know, there is a medication shortage in Mexico. It's very bad luck to be on the wrong side of the border if we hit stage 6.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprise if the clubs temporarily close for a couple of weeks. Anyone knows whether the clubs are still open?

I feel really bad for the ladies. They have to earn a living. Plus they're on the wrong side of the border where medication is scarce.

My wingman and I had planned to go down for an afternoon treat this week but it can wait. This flu is probably a lot more widespread than they are saying and these girls seem pretty desperate to make a buck. Infecting colleagues or clients is probably not a big concern for them.FDA surgical mask may seem reasonable for certain portion of TJ.

FDA surgical mask may seem reasonable for certain portion of TJ.Personally, I like the white one over the blue one. The blue one looks more more like a construction style mask. I am going for the strait-out-of-the-hospital look.

Anybody been to the zona today? I just have this image in my head of all the patrons at the HK sitting at the bar with these masks one and the girls dancing on stage wearing the same ones.

Thanks everyone,

A few weeks back I asked about eating the food in Tijuana. I recieved some terriffic feedback and I had planned on staying in the area on my upcoming visit.

But now it appears that eating south of the border is not the main health probem. Things are always changing I guess. My planned trip is in July with my airfares booked. Hopefully, this flu will have run it's course by then. We'll see. I know by coming to this site I'll have the most updated info.

Thanks again and enjoy!

I've canceled all trips to South of the Border until further notice.

I canceled my trip down today too. I am not worried about the flu as much as the border situation. I have heard lines are slower than usual and as Jackie said, there is a real threat that they will close the border, even if temporarily, while you are still in TJ.

I guess you guys will have to jack off for a couple of weeks.

All seriousness look at the "Spanish Flu" on Wiki or somewhere. That stuff during WWI was crazy. It killed more healthy people than it did children, sick, elderly because your body's immmunity is used against you.

Anyways be safe.

I had planned to make my second sojourn down to Tijuana on cinco de mayo but due to the pandemic I have postponed my trip. Not just due to the pandemic tho. I also would like the opportunity to save up a little extra cash and instead of doing a day trip try and spend 72 hours in Tijuana. That way I'll have time to monger and do the tourist thing. Maybe even catch a bull fight.

Oh. And as far as RTTF goes lately. I'm up to page 120 of 190 on the tijuana reports section. I've been reading the fucking fourum like a fool lately because I've become intriged by Tijuanas Zona Norte LOL.

Mexico Mitigation Plan - Paper thin Surgical Fashion Mask
DF chicas in paper thin surgical mask (source MSN).

Adventure Package?:find a N95 rated surgical mask, keep clean hands away from the mouth, nose and eyes, and follow the WHO's Director-General recommendation - no border closure.

Russia, HK & China will conduct secondary inspection for US and Mex arrival.
WHO advise to it's members states including the Untied States of America.

Critical date May 6 for Mexico and May 5 for WHO. Mitigation plan in effect.

Border closure is an unknown risk for A(H1N1) virus as it it is clear we are at Level 5 in DF, Level 4 in NY, Level 3 in CA. A very dynamic and fearful situation for everyone.

# Given the widespread presence of the virus, the Director-General considered that containment of the outbreak is not feasible. The current focus should be on mitigation measures.

# The Director-General recommended not to close borders and not to restrict international travel. It was considered prudent for people who are ill to delay international travel and for people developing symptoms following international travel to seek medical attention.

# The Director-General considered that production of seasonal influenza vaccine should continue at this time, subject to re-evaluation as the situation evolves. WHO will facilitate the process needed to develop a vaccine effective against A(H1N1) virus.

# The Director-General stressed that all measures should conform with the purpose and scope of the International Health Regulations.

I've spent the last few days off time reading the fourum and am up to page 159 out of 193 and I intend to finish all 193 posts. I don't intend to dig much further since reports from 2005 are kinda too old to be reading through and will work on possibly the reports of distinction after that.

However I do have a few questions that hopefully I can get an answer to before I take my trip hopefully in june or july after this pandemic goes away.

1. When I was in the Zona I don't remember seeing any cross walk signals at the corners of the streets and with the way people drove I was almost afraid to walk across the street. In order to avoid Jay Walking how do I know when it is ok to cross the street, I remember reading around page 150 that pedestrians have the right of way but not everyone obeys that law and we both know who wins a fight between human and car.

2. Is Las Pulgas still open? I would like to find a place near the strip to relax and not be hustled for drinks, have girls constantly asking me to go arriba after I've just gotten done pounding my 3rd girl and need a breather. Any other non working girl bars close to the zona that you guys would recomend?

3. In reguards to the casino there is it similar to those of downtown las vegas? What I mean is do they have both slot machines and table games such as roulette and blackjack? What are the minimums?

4. On a similar note has anyone gonne to the arcade near the zona? Do they have up to date games or am I going to be walking into an arcade from the 80's?

and lastly

5. How many of you guys regularly go to TJ and bang 4 or 5 chicas a day? When I went back around easter I felt like I was in heaven. ALL these beautiful chicas in one place and i could fuck every one of them if i had the $$$. I wish i could get back all the money I've spent on adult entertainment in the states since I turned 18 and go to TJ. I'd have a zero sperm count LOL.

According to the experts there is absolutely no proof the masks can prevent or even reduce the odds of getting the flu. In fact they could become saturated like sponges and you would be constantly breathing in cold and flu viruses.

They may help contain the virus if worn by carriers but no protection for those wearing them.

Most of the flu is spread by finger contact and they emphasize money being a major carrier.

Thanks again and enjoy! There is an great restaurant, I have been eating here since 1992, easy to find, get a taxi. I block off of Cuahtemoc Norte and 1 block south of Aguas Caliente blvd. There is a short street at an angle off Aguas Caliente Blvd and Cuahtemoc. Big sign says "24 Hours". Good prices and home cooked food, like going to Grandma's. Everyone knows this place. Great dinners and lunches for aroung 800pesos. If you are at the Palacio Azteca hotel you are a block south of the street.

On the news today, there was talk about the US may close the US/Mexican border due to the flu out break.

My trip down in June now is on hold.

That swine flu is some serious stuff.

Just watched Obama's interview since it's his 100th day in office. Wow, time flies. They asked him about closing down the border and his response was that the united states is not in a panic state so it will not do that. But that it can happen if things really get bad. I doubt that will happen.

I've delayed any trips I was taking. Not like I was planning on a trip soon anyways but now I definitely won't go for a while until this calms down a bit. I'm going to text some of my favorite girls and tell them to be cautious.

EDIT:
Was watching the news and saw who they believed was the first victim and the spreader of the swine flu. It was a little kid in a small one mule town in Mexico. Quickly afterwards many others in the town where infected. Kid pulled through though. He's fine, running around and playing like it was only a cold he had gone through. They farm pigs around that town but all pigs have since been euthanized and disposed of.

Typical American news media, asking dumb questions and not providing the right information as usual.

What they should really be saying is that, if you are old, easily get sick or have young children traveling with you, you should avoid going to Mexico save for emergencies.

I would go down, short on cash this month though, next month maybe you know how the US news cycle works and funny that prosecution for war crimes was starting to put Obama on the hot seat and a flu scare comes up.... But I think the media (the left side anyway) is like a dog with a bone on this one, they aren't going to let a flu scare distract them and that's a good thing...

I mean did SARS all of a sudden become dormant???

I would not go down if I was sickly, but actually this swine flu is affecting the young and strong.
The news has made a point of warning people that the cases that have been confirmed have mostly been found among those who are normally considered healthy, not the old and sickly.

No rationale for travel restrictions
1 May 2009 -- WHO is not recommending travel restrictions related to the outbreak of the Influenza A(H1N1) virus. Limiting travel and imposing travel restrictions would have very little effect on stopping the virus from spreading, but would be highly disruptive to the global community.

I wouldn't go.

You can be stuck on the other side of the border if it closes. While medication is abundant here, there's a shortage of it on the other side.

But if you are set on going, then do us (and friends and family) a favor and get a screening right when you come back. It's easy to treat.

On the other hand, it spreads like nightmare if you don't check it. The virus has a 5-7 days of life. So even if you aren't sick, you can still carry it and spread it to your love ones.

Also, wash your clothes. Dump all your cash and coins in your pockets and wash everything. That's right, wash your money. It'll be ok. I do it after every trip even before this Swine Flu.

They wouldn't close the border in a moments notice. So I wouldn't worry about being stuck on the other side. A few trips back I got a bad cold. Doubt it was the swine flu but it was an above average cold. Maybe strep throat. I got through it.

Was in the zona Fri night (May 1st) too everything open cept for maybe Caliente, crowds were small few americanos. 2 to 3 to 1 girls to guys ratio so great for me! Even could just walk in and get a seat by hottie central in AB on a Fri night (usually impossible). Better service by hungry chicas and no early knock upstairs! CC had a even better girls to guys ratio since it was so dead and lots of street chicas in the alley too. HK felt confident enough to still try to charge the buy one can of beer admission policy for weekends.

Hospitals like Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch, California, set up triage tents to handle overcrowding

After a week of headlines about the H1N1 virus, or swine flu, many emergency rooms and hospitals are crammed with people, many of whom don't need to be there.

The visits by the "worried well" have triggered concerns of overburdening the nation's hospitals and emergency departments, several health care professionals told CNN.

This week, some hospitals saw record numbers of patients. A few emergency departments shut down to paramedics because of overcrowding.

"We have had a lot of nervous patients with minimal respiratory tract symptoms," said Dr. Mark Bell, principal of Emergent Medical Associates, which operates 18 emergency departments in Southern California. "It has caused signficiant amount of delays in emergency care. They're all walking well."

"I haven't seen such a panic among communities perhaps ever," Bell said. "We are spending significant time in the emergency department, calming people down. Right now, people think if they have a cough or a cold, they're going to die. That's a scary, frightening place to be in. I wish that this hysteria had not occurred and that we had tempered a little bit of our opinions and thoughts and fears in the media. It just went haywire."

In California, triage tents were set outside. Clinics doubled their traffic in major cities like Dallas, Texas, and Chicago, Illinois. In the Los Angeles area, some Emergent Medical Associates locations shut down their paramedic traffic.

"We're closing to the real emergencies that may be befalling our community," said Bell. "There is a little sense of hysteria among the community about the H1N1 virus."

Emergency rooms are usually crowded and "if you increase that volume, you're throwing them right over the edge," said Bill Briggs, president of the Emergency Nurses' Association.

"This has the potential to clog the system and emergency departments already facing serious crowding issues throughout the U.S.," said Briggs, a registered nurse at Tufts Medical Center, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Some came to the hospital because they reported eating pork and having a cough, and thought this meant they had H1N1 virus. Though commonly known as swine flu, this virus is not contracted through eating pork products.

Even in cities that have yet to have a confirmed case of H1N1, health care workers have noticed an uptick in the number of patients. The Minute Clinic, a walk-in health care chain that has 500 offices around the country, saw a 50 percent increase in flu-related visits Thursday.

Chicago Children's Memorial Hospital's emergency department had more than double their average number of patients this week.

"It was a lot of 'worried well' people," said Cathleen Shanahan, the nursing director for the emergency department at the hospital. "A lot of parents who were worried they about the flu."

The anxiety is understandable, but Shanahan cautioned, "At some point, they need to realize it's still flu season and it could be a normal flu season, and have nothing to do with [H1N1] flu." CNN.com: Regular flu has killed thousands since January

"The situation is that people get the flu all the time," said Dr. Nick Jouriles, president of the American College of Emergency Physicians. "H1N1 flu is just a bad strain of that. If you have flu symptoms and you ordinarily see the doctor for that, go ahead. If you would not ordinarily go to the doctor, don't."

If a person has no symptoms, then he does not need to seek emergency care, said Jouriles, an emergency room doctor at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. And if the person does not have a fever or cough, it is extremely unlikely it's the H1N1 virus.

"Very often when this happens, people naturally become afraid and overinterpret every symptom as a harbinger of the flu or what the epidemic is," said Dr. Jeffrey Steinbauer, professor of family medicine and the medical director of the Baylor Clinic in Houston, Texas. "That's part of providing care to patients and it's kind of expected."

Rather than panicking when you have a cough or runny nose, Steinbauer advised finding more objective measures.

"A temperature is very objective," Steinbauer said. "If the temperature is normal, the allergens in the world and other viruses in the world can give you cough and runny nose. But if you don't have a fever, chances of it being a flu is very low."

* MayoClinic.com: Influenza

While, the symptoms of the current swine flu and seasonal flu are very similar, reports suggest that this flu virus may result in nausea, vomiting and diarrhea more often than the typical flu. Symptoms include excrutiating body pains, difficulty breathing, significant nasal congestion and high fever. Doctors in Mexico have reported seeing sudden dizziness as well.

Health care workers find themselves trying to balance caution while allaying fears and panic about the virus.

"We recognize this as an infectious disease, this is moving," Dr. Robert Salata, the chief of Infectious Diseases at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. "For the general population, we're trying to calm the fears of people and the worried well, by stressing other elements like cough and sneezing etiquettes, and that you shouldn't go to work if you're feeling sick. If there is a concern, working through this with your physicians would be very important."

But dashing into the emergency department because of a runny nose is not helpful.

"We have a tendency in the U.S. to abuse our emergency departments," Salata said. "If this escalates, you want to use them for people that are not having mild or moderate symptoms."

Of course this is because America is full of under informed and frankly not very smart population. The Emergency rooms of hospitals are already under pressure from the roughly 47 million at last count anyway of Americans without any health care at all. Last thing you need is some moron who ate a ham sandwich and all of a sudden has a cough that it could be the H1N1 and rushes over to the local hospital.

Like was posted, sorry but thousands of Americans DIE as a result of normal flu.

I would say something like the broadcast media should be more responsible with what they report but who am I kidding...

Reports are that being intimate with a pig will not result in swine flu, but if you fucked the girl the night before and at 7:30AM or so the next morning you are oozing white stuff from your penis then that's not a good thing and you really need to get in front of a doctor right away. I hope it's nothing serious.

Revolucion Ave is dead, alot of the clubs and stores and restaurants have closed. Zona Norte (redlight district) in TJ is down maybe 30-40% from a few years ago though still plenty of chicas still though not as many as before. HK is prob the busiest club now though AB does get standing room only on some weekend nights. Prices for fucky sucky are $50-60 with bargirls for a 30-40 min session YMMV and $20-30 for 15-20 minutes for a street girl standing against a wall in the alley. (bargirl price is almost always for full nude sex, while with many street girls it costs extra for them to take all their clothes off).

I have not been down in two weeks. I was sick with the flu one week and then last week I was about to do down on Tuesday and realized it was Cinco de Mayo.

Anyway, I am planning to go down today and logged on to get some current info. but see the guys are still talking about the flu. There seems to be little current info.

But as far as the last few years go, I would not say TJ is dead. Things are different, meaning there are fewer top girls out. But by the same token there are fewer crackhead types.

Prices are stable. And with the stronger dollar, you actually pay less when paying in pesos.

So, no TJ is not dead, it is still a VERY good bang for your buck.

But things such as long border waits and reports about violence have slowed down personal visits.

I still see the same girls out there when I am down each week.

Where do you get the best Steaks in TJ?For many years I enjoyed the steaks at El Taurino. The cabreria was a HUGE marinated steak that was just superb. I haven't been there in quite some time, so I have no idea if it's still open. But if it is, El Taurino is on Calle Sies (6th St.) just east of Avenida Ninos Heros, on the south side of the street. If you walk back and forth I recommend using Avenida Constitucion to go north and south. And look sharp when you get near First Street. Or you could take a taxi. It's not that far and the fare should be reasonable.

It is a cab ride from the zona, on Blvde Agua Caliente, where the street splits into a east bound and west bound lanes. It is near and east of the race track. If you see the Marriot Hotel you are close. An "arrachera" that will fill 2 people will cost around $25.

Take a red and white taxi. I have been eating there for 5 years. Great sides and wine list.

Apparently you haven't read the forum for the last few years on what has changed. RTFF.

But I'm feeling helpful right now so I'll quickly fill you in.

AB has air conditioning now and wide screen tv's on every wall. So if you haven't been, in over seven years, then you will notice its changes. I also heard it was remodeled a few years ago. This was before I ever visited Ab so I don't know exactly what has changed. My last trip about a month ago and month before that, there was continuous work being done to the front of AB. Looks like they are adding some kind of new fancy awning with lights. Something similar to a casino.

I don't know if HK is number 1 now but it wouldn't surprise me. They've done "A LOT" of remodeling. If you haven't been there in seven years then you will be surprised how much it has changed. They added a second and third floor. Private rooms, expanded it completely to the other end of the street so it has it's original entrance plus one on Coahuila St. Plus they've updated their website. You can see pics of the club and even the girls.

http://www.hktijuana.com/

Chicago Club, this is all stuff I've heard so I could be wrong, but the club was sold and the new owner went through different management causing it's decline and now it's barely standing. Everytime I go in there, I quickly do a 180 and walk out. It's only gotten worse over the years. first time I went in about three years ago it was like going into AB on a weekday afternoon. Few girls and few customers. But now I can walk in on a weekend and they'll be like only 3 girls and one guy. Pretty dreadful. I swear I hear crickets in there.

Ab hasn't dropped the ball and let HK take over. Chicago Club is the bar that really dropped the ball. AB hasn't dropped the ball, actually they haven't done anything. They got their business to work and stuck with it. But that's also their problem. HK had plans of grandeur and went with it. Ab has just remained idle. Personally Ab still has the hottest women while HK has only a few 10's.

I don't know about Peanuts and beer. Is that on Revo? If so, I saw it closed during the day. Perhaps they only open during the night.

Tourism in general has declined severely compared to 7 years ago. And even more recently with the economy taking a down turn, the drug wars and the current illness being spread around. So it's not as crowded as it once was. Things are bleak for Mexico as of late. And just when you think things couldn't get worse, they do.

I've read of a few people on this forum getting a few things. Nothing as severe as HIV. As least not that I know of.

When you ask for their health cards, are they reluctant to show them to you? I've never asked to see one, but the topic did come up once. It seems they keep them in the back instead of carrying them around with them.

Best way to fight an STD is to treat it early on. Even HIV can be cured if spotted early. I don't blame you for being scared to get checked. I feel the same way. I really should get checked even though I feel confident enough that my safe sex practices should be enough to keep me in the clear. Like the saying goes, "you can never be too safe."

CA tax receipts are down 50 percent from last year. I would say that the majority of this constitutes discretionary spending such as mongering.

Like most nations that are dependent on US consumption, MX is getting killed right now.

Give it three more months and TJ salidas(costs) could be down to 1990 levels or better. Like many Americans, most of these chicas are entirely clueless about the current and future economic environment.

Right up to the point that they can no longer pay their rent.

Need it be said that safe sex practices can minimize your risk of catching any unwanted diseases. Even then, it does not protect you from Herpes Simplex 2. If you ask for anything bareback, then you risk catching the garden variety Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, Trichomonas, in addition to the HSV and HIV. I have read and heard that these girls do have to have regular health check and blood testing in order to get a health card to be able to legally work. I haven't caught anything and I don't plan on doing anything to increase my risk of getting anything. As a physician, I can tell you that I have never heard of a cure for HIV. I hope whoever said that misspoke. With the right combination of anti-retorvial medications, it keeps in check and keeps you from converting to AIDS. There is a difference. As you already know, there is also no cure for Herpes Simplex 2 either. Be careful of the information that is dispensed on the internet regarding your health. As a fellow Libra, I hope you enjoy yourself in Tijuana and stay safe.

"When you ask for their health cards, are they reluctant to show them to you? I've never asked to see one, but the topic did come up once. It seems they keep them in the back instead of carrying them around with them"

You are correct. In my experience most of the street girls are reluctant to show their cards even if they are in good standing with the Tijuana Health Department and do keep them in the back, probably due to privacy since it lists their true names etc. However, generally I've been able to persuade the SGs to show those cards, even a couple of time a girl went back to her room to fetch it for me. Usually, I am adamant that not seeing a health card is a deal breaker, and no one wants to lose a client.

I'm not saying there's a cure for HIV(not aids as that is a way advanced stage of HIV) but it is entirely possible to get rid of the HIV virus by medication. I've even seen cases where a persons own immune system fought off HIV and is now completely healthy. Sadly, it is a very slim chance to remove HIV by medication or a good immune system.

But like I've mentioned, early treatment is the best bet.

I was there Friday from about 4pm. Midnight.

It felt like a regular Thursday night. It was actually pretty good. The ladies were quoting a little lower than normal. While crossing, the Mexican Marines didn't care to put on their medical face-mask. In the zone, no one was wearing face-masks. And on the way back, our border cops did not wear face-masks.

There have been no reported cases in Tijuana or Baja. It seems that the Mexicans are treating this one as a Mexico-city problem. There are news that in Baja, Mexico-city vacationers were getting their cars stoned. How's that for local ism.

AB had the hottest ladies. But the MILFs have mostly disappeared. I got quotes of $50. 60. One quoted me $30, then $20 and cum in her mouth to which I declined for health reasons. There are several new ones that I've not seen since the last time I was here (3 weeks ago).

HK is HK. Same crew for the last 3 months. I was quoted $50. One was surprised that I declined her offer of $40. Hey, I was tired and wanted to watch the damn basketball game! Women, can't they see that we're trying to concentrate?

I suspect the price is also based on how attracted you personally are. While I'd like to pimp my looks, unfortunately I'm actually referring to a general neatness and cleanliness. If you look like a decent person, you pose a less threat to them. If you are relatively in decent shape, you will sweat less and fart less. And if you don't stick a dollar up their ass and pussy, you show a respect (at least for their hygiene).

I think the last point really hits a soft spot with the dancers. Because I notice that I get an enormous amount of attention from them thereafter. Some even give me pecks on the cheeks when I leave.

Ain't that sweet?

There is no cure for hiv/aids. The meds only suppress the virus but it will always be there. Black people in america make up half of the new hiv cases in america. My guess is they think, like you, that because magic johnson is still alive, that this virus is cured, or you just take some meds and all is well. Not true. Remember MJ has plenty money and works out 2 hours a day. He is not the poster child for everyone that gets hiv. It seems that there are alot of people that look up to MJ and think there is nothing to worry about and are now careless.

After reading E's post I realized you said you have not been there in 7 years. There have been lots of improvements since then. The alley is a lot cleaner. They actually have a sidewalk now! The girls dress better now,too (sluttier). 7 years ago I still remember picking up girls in the alley who did not know what thongs were. Now they all have on short skirts and thongs.

As we have all said prices are steady in TJ, unlike Rio as you know.

It is still hard to get GFE in TJ, but the price cannot be beat.

Come on down man while airfare is cheap and hotel rooms in SD are cheap. Also, with the swine flu scare the border wait can be minimal.

I am going down again tomorrow.

Well, I’m not a scientist on the leading edge of retroviral research, so I’m going to stick to the party line; which is: HIV is a virus; there is no cure at any stage. Being asymptomatic does not mean you are free of the virus. It is still there, it can progress and it can be spread.

I hope that if there were individuals who have contracted and subsequently eliminated the virus, that there would be some measure of news and research done on them. I couldn’t find anything on the web that referred to a situation where someone who contracted the virus was free from it. If you have some info to check this out I’m all ears.

Till then, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

FreezinI hope the dental stuff goes well. I know a couple of people who swear by their Tijuana dentists.

But I'd be climbing the walls if I had to spend two weeks in Tijuana. IMHO, there is nothing to do there but patronize the ladies. And there are so few of them either in number or in willingness to relate honestly with me that, after three days, I've done all the chicas I want to do.

I've never been to the Marriot, but, for a guest policy, I wouldn't take our word for it. Telephone them.

The gang violence is real and not predictable, no matter what any says. Those jerks are pushing the envelope on society's sensibilities. There's no telling what they'll do next. But you can avoid those guys.

I lived in Ensenada for nine months back in 2006 and had encountered many Americans and Canadians that took the 25+hour trek from the border to Cabo in motorhomes and fifth-wheels. Apparantly, there are many KOA-type campgrounds($10/day)throughout Baja that are offered to travelling motorists and I encountered many of these people as I had an American friend that permanently lived in one of these camps. No horror stories were to be told. Just make sure you have MX insurance and licensing, a FMT and your passport. As for the flu scare, it is pretty much over here in Monterrey, MX.

You may want to schedule in some extra time for Ensenada as this is a beautiful tourist town with plenty of MX heritage. Also, The Country Casa Bar and Resort has an abundance of ex-patriates if you ever feel the need for that type of surronding.

freezin, you’re doin’ it right.
learning even the most rudimentary spanish goes a long way. trying to communicate in their native tongue is a sign of respect.
the fifth wheeler is a good way to go but must be done with some caution.
1.stay at rv campgrounds. parking along or near the highway at night is only asking for trouble.
2.while driving, stay to the right at all times. truck drivers have the virgin mary on their dash so they tend to cut corners short and fast. they often take their half of the road out of the middle.
3.watch the road; bathtub size potholes are not common, but not uncommon either.
4.do not drive at night. let’s see cows on the road, drunk truck drivers on speed, banditos, and cows on the road. i mention cows on the road twice cause it happens a lot.

I'm also thinking (always a bad sign! ) of buying a Fifth Wheel trailer and travelling solo (except for the occassional chica or 2! ) thru the Baja to Cabo and then down the West Coast to PVR in Sept. Or Oct. Am I out of my freakin mind to consider this? Will I at least make it to Ensenada alive? I read a lot of negative press online, but normally take it with a grain of salt. Our provincial capital city, Edmonton, has already had something like 38 murders this year, so I figure that you're just as safe in Mexico. I should probably mention that I'm 50 and don't have a lot of mongering experience and I just started learning Spanish with Rosetta Stone.

I drove from LA to La Paz several years ago. I think you'll find the trip very interesting. Amazing scenery that changes hourly.

However, there are a few caveats, some already mentioned. Never drive at night and always stay at campgrounds. I've read several recent stories of gringos getting robbed and beaten at night in remote areas of Baja. I'm not sure you'll be able to get from Cabo to PVR without completely backtracking all the way back to San Felipe. There used to be a ferry years ago, but I was under the impression that it was no longer in operation. Maybe somebody else could enlighten me, as I may be wrong.

In Baja, I suspect your opportunities for meeting chicas will be few and far between outside of TJ, La Paz and Cabo.

Your trip sounds like a lot of fun!! Enjoy.

But I'd be climbing the walls if I had to spend two weeks in Tijuana. IMHO, there is nothing to do there but patronize the ladies.

That's not entirely true but being mostly a tourist of the place, I'd feel the same way. My trips only last about half a day. I return back home the same day that I leave for Tj. I don't need to be there any longer or else I would get bored.

In those 4 days I am always feeling kinda rushed to see and do things. I try to take my time and enjoy the culture but I know my time is limited.

I think 2 weeks would be great to get a real feel of the culture and of course the chicas. Although during the twilight hours I would stay in the zona, the days can be well spent investigating the area.

The visits I make are mostly spent in and around the zona because of my short stay but if I had 2 weeks I would love to see some of the theaters, regular clubs ,bullfights and malls in the area.

I have NEVER been bored during my visits (and I do not sleep much) and in fact ,I just start to really get used to things when it is time to leave.

I am truly jealous of your plans.

Rocky Point), Hermosillo, Los Mochis, Guasave, Culiacan, Mazatlan, Tepic, PV and points further south. From Hermosillo south you will be on divided highway (toll road) Hwy15D, and will pass through some reportedly great mongering spots, starting with Mexicali. I don't know that Baja would be very productive, unless you really want to see it.

Good points. I agree.

But I encountered too much BS in TJ to want to spend quality time there. I do only see a few girls while there so I build up familiarity. Plus, I am there at least once a week.

I use TJ as a quickie spot but take my time when in Brazil. The quality of life in TJ and the quality of the girls in general just does not warrant going slowly.

For years I would eat at restaurants and try to hang out but after all the BS, racism, etc., I got enough.
So for me Mexico will always now be hit-and-run.

I have drove from LV but mostly Barstow area and the trip south of LA truly sucks.

It takes an hour or two for me to unwind from the chaotic experience.

To make that trip and then return in a couple of hours would truly make the experience a major pain in the arse.

I left Las Vegas one morning and returned to LV late the next late night and only then was it worth the 14 hour road time. I spent about 24 hrs with boots on the ground in Tijuana with a sleep break.

The sleep break makes a major difference in the experience not only then but in a couple days when everything seems to catch up with you (the aftershock LOL).

This is really true for the newbies. Where everything is new and fresh for them.

I know it's a personal question, but has anyone contracted anything from mongering in Tijuana? I 've read that it's fairly unsafe in Tijuana, and after getting really sick with high fever last year after one of my Tijuana trips, I am paranoid ask girls to show me their Health cards, but you never know. I am a chicken to go get checked. How do you guys deal with the threat of an STD, especially a deadly one like HIV? Do you get checked ever so often? Any kind advice and information would be greatly appreciated.

Libra -

I have had a fever a few times after being with girls in Asia. It's disconcerting because that could happen after HIV infection. But both times, I was tested and came up negative.

I live in LA and go to AIM health aim-med.org or to my doctor for HIV and other STD check about 4 times/year. I think all mongers should go at least 1-2X/year. Many of these illnesses, including chlamydia and HIV are frequently asymptomatic. Condoms are not 100% effective. In the case of HIV, the earlier it's treated, the better the prognosis. And it's not a death sentence like it used to be in the 1980's - take a look at Magic Johnson, Andrew Sullivan and many others. Get yourself checked.

I enjoy these things in most counties I have visited.

Even in the US, tourist trap area are a poor representation of the real people or area. During the days there is a lot of things I would love to/have c/seen that is a short cab ride or long walk.

I do not stay the night in the zona itself because I have to take a break from the craziness.

I do get begged on and barked at during the first day or so but after that they have seen me enough that they do not even bother anymore.

San Diego close I understand the dip in and out but 2 hours out or more is to rushed for me.

Guys, this is a great time to go to Tijuana! I was there yesterday (a Thursday) and there wasnolines even during rush hour at 5 pm! I did not sense or see any danger. I went to walked to Hong Kong Bar (15 min walk from border). HK is better than ADELITAS in my opinion because it is cleaner.- even the hotel next door is cleaner. I had a older (30s) woman with beautiful big fake tits and a big ass but tiny belly. Definitely hourglass figure. I paid her 60 but she let me take photos of a blajah and titjah with big load all over her pretty, smiling face. The hotel was 11 bucks. She was definitely enthusiastic.- seemed to enjoy her job. I will definitely go back. Her name is Emily.

It was about 9:30 p.m. when I pointed the car south on Interstate 5, which was eerily devoid of cars -- like a scene in one of those post-nuclear apocalypse movies. It was practically still as I pushed through the turnstiles and walked south along the pedestrian entry plaza. There were a couple of big signs urging anybody with flu symptoms to see a doctor right away, but a tent near the inspection point was unmanned. So I suspect the flu scare is over.

The baby-faced soldiers in full battle dress were tying to look bored and mean as I headed for the cab stand. A single tout went through the motions, offering me a small card advertising something or other. I declined and got in the front seat of the taxi for the short drive to the Zona Norte. The driver was younger than average, and he made no effort to steer me to some clip joint for a kickback.

It was almost 10:30 when I walked into the Adelita Bar, where there were so few guys I could have sworn it was Sunday afternoon. I guess the punk economy north of the border and the flu scare have really done a number on the tourist trade. I'm not a regular visitor, and I had been concerned that supply of girls would have contracted in the face of dwindling demand. But I was pleasantly surprised to see a very good selection, including some total hotties.

One girl I'd never seen before just took my breath away. She was maybe 5'5", 100 pounds, with a tight toned body and perfect golden skin. Best of all she had a stunning face with fine European features, a killer smile and huge eyes. Her brunette hair had some frosted streaks and it was piled up on top of her head. Her petite hard body, gorgeous face and elaborately haphazard hairdo reminded me of 80s hottie Susanna Hoffs from the Bangles. (Whose gorgeous face and sexy sidelong glance launched a thousand ships in the music video for the band's hit "Walk Like an Egyptian.")

[For those of you whose frame of reference does not date to the Reagan administration, she looked like one of those computer-generated figures people use as computer avatars -- totally devoid of any flaws.]

She was wearing a very skimpy bikini top that showed off her pert tits to great effect, plus impossibly small white bikini panties that glowed under the black lights through a gauzy transparent wrap around her hips. It was a very nice look.

She would eventually prove to be irresistible, but first I wanted to check out the Hong Kong Club. There were far more guys in there, which tells me they understand the upscale customer better than anybody else in the zona these days. There were lots of girls wandering around, but only a handful were worth looking at. They seem to go for quantity over quality there, with lots of average dancers plus the promotadoras. That said, the girls who did the shaving cream show (a lithe blond with perfect tan skin and a brunette with nicely-done silicone tits) were very hot indeed. Normally I'm not into that particular kink, but they looked so good all slathered up I couldn't resist forking over a tip and copping a soapy feel.

Had a beer, made a lap, and then walked across the street to the Tropical Bar. Haven't been there in years, but I recently read a favorable report in another online forum and I thought I'd check it out. It's a small place with a single bar where most of the booths surround a modest dance floor. The online reporter suggested there were some hotties in the lineup, but if that's true I didn't see them last night. Had a couple of beers and took in the scene, but it wasn't worth staying.

Back across the street to the Hong Kong Club about midnight, noting the crowd was pretty good for a Thursday night considering. Spent some time in a booth with a girl named Denise. She was a little pear-shaped, but from the neck up she was kinda hot with a pretty face that reminded me of actress Anne Hathaway, with an oversized mouth and gorgeous big eyes. I bought her a couple of beers and after we fooled around in the booth a little I sprang for a $20 privado. It turned out Denise was into making out, and we spend the next two or three songs with our tongues in each other's throats. Normally I prefer a little more sleaze in the booth, but Denise had a sweet vibe and lip locking with her was a nice change of pace.

When we were done Denise tried to get me to go upstairs. She quoted a price of $50, which seemed about right in a buyers market for a second tier girl. Just for the hell of it I asked her if she'd consider doing a bareback blowjob. She politely declined, but I suspect that for a few extra dollars she might have considered it.

At that point I was well and truly tuned up, and as I have posted here before when you want to cut to the chase hottie central at the Adelita Bar is the place to be. Five minutes later I was leaning up against the main bar when the sweet new hottie I had noticed earlier sidled up and introduced herself.

Mucha gusta Vanessa de Guadalajara. Vamanos arriba?

Upstairs in the hotel she wriggled out of what little clothing she had on and locked me in her tractor beam of hotness. Wow! Talk about a teen dream. I was pleasantly surprised by Vanessa's performance, which was was a cut above most trophy fuck girls. I had a chance to fondle every inch of her perfect little body, which got things off to a very nice start indeed.

Then it was time for a covered blow job. Wearing only her heels, Vanessa squatted in front of me and went to work on Mr. Wood, which added a little pornstar vibe. Very nice. There followed all the usual positions, my favorite being missionary when I had a chance to gaze into her gorgeous eyes as I plowed her shaved snatch.

So who cares about the economy's woes and the flu scare? It's a buyers market in the Zona Norte and for sixty bucks you can bang a hottie like Vanessa.

I am reading that it is a good time to go to TJ because it is a buyers market, but is it safe? With regard to the four Americans who were victims of foul play on Friday the 15th, the word is they were messed up with the drug dealers. As are the VAST MAJORITY of the people who are involved in the rather sensational crime that gets so much media coverage. Moreover, as far as I know not one of these spectacular crimes has taken place in the Zona Norte.

So if you're not in the drug business and you stick to the zona norte you should be perfectly safe.

That said, I have seen some anecdotal reports indicating an uptick in low level street crime in Tijuana, such as purse snatchings and muggings. For visitors to the zona norte the main risk is the rateros, who are guys that sneak up behind you, apply the sleeper hold and then steal your valuables before you wake up. These guys were a problem back in the mid 90s, but then the police cracked down and they were not a serious threat for many years.

Lately, however, the turmoil in the ranks of the police department has reduced somewhat the number of officers on patrol and the vigor of those who are still on duty. So it would seem the rateros and other low lifes are enjoying a bit of a resurgance.

For the typical zona norte visitor the rateros are nothing to worry about. Just be sure to take a taxi back and forth from the border, and stick to the well-worn path between the big three clubs. Indeed, with the demise of the Chicago Club and the new entrance for the Hong Kong Club, it's possible to restrict your movements to about 40 feet of sidewalk, never even crossing the street.

If you must expand you movements in the zona, all the old rules apply. Keep you head on swivel, walk in the street, don't get too drunk and generally be street smart.

You shouldn't be walking on the street, a car could hit you. The sidewalks are perfectly fine as long as you stay on the beaten paths.

I avoid walking near suspicious people. I try to stay behind them when I walk to keep an eye on them and if they are behind me I walk fast to get away from them or stop and act like I'm looking at my watch or cell, give myself enough time so they'll pass me. I always keep an extra pair of eyes on the back of my head.

I don't talk to anyone on the street. Especially the scum who keep asking me if I am looking for a girl or if I need anything. I keep walking, they get the idea. I also ignore the Barkers in front of the bars. The real persistent ones will put their arm on my back and try to direct me into the bar. I just tell them to talk to the hand and keep walking. Some of the bars lose my business because of the barkers. If I want to try a bar, I will try it on my own free will and not because I'm being forced to go into them.

In my opinion, the Zona is one of the most heavily patrol areas in Tijuana. Even the cops there tend to behave themselves. I suspect that it's because the Zona is one of the most reliable money makers in Tijuana, and everyone gets a little piece of the action. And so each has a personal interest in watering the money tree.

It's the areas between the Zona & the border that is dangerous. So don't wander around particularly at night. If you can't help it, take the map listed on this site so you don't get lost.

i avoid walking near suspicious people. i try to stay behind them when i walk to keep an eye on them and if they are behind me i walk fast to get away from them or stop and act like i'm looking at my watch or cell, give myself enough time so they'll pass me. i always keep an extra pair of eyes on the back of my head.

i don't talk to anyone on the street. especially the scum who keep asking me if i am looking for a girl or if i need anything. i keep walking, they get the idea. i also ignore the barkers in front of the bars. the real persistent ones will put their arm on my back and try to direct me into the bar. i just tell them to talk to the hand and keep walking. some of the bars lose my business because of the barkers. if i want to try a bar, i will try it on my own free will and not because i'm being forced to go into them.

i don't think those 4 american teens were in the big business of drugs, they probably just got killed because they were in the wrong place saw something, or maybe a group of gang raped the girls and robbed the guys and then killed them?
young 18 and 19 yrs old nice school girls in the big drug business????
a lot of very young teens do cocaine and shit, that doesn't mean they're drug dealers, that's one of the reasons they go to tj for the **** drinking, party and to get high.

"scurring off"? I'll ignore the insult.

And your vacant reply doesn't fool me, either, for it's the kind of statement someone makes when they cannot produce substance, I. E. When they don't know what they're talking about.

Of course, you can always prove that you do know what you're talking about by identifying at least one structure in Tijuana (besides Esmeralda's nipples) that has any architectural merit. If my reply was "vacant", then where did you come up with architecture?

The place is full of old buildings, shops and bars. Open your eyes.

If I was really trying to BS you, google is my friend.

No matter what I say you will bat it down which I knew from the beginning.

If you are suggesting I have not spend time in Tijuana multiple times (since 2000) where I have walked and (stupidly) drove around, yeah OK think that.

Hell, I would love to see a real bull fight.

I have not got bored in Tijuana even with back to back 3-4 day stays with a 2 week gap. Being bored is a reflection on one's own limited mind.

i didn't have the luxury of growing up with my zip code being 90210. i wasn't raised in the ghetto either. it was more a blue collar area. although, i did know of these two respectable and nice looking girls in my school who where in the drug trade. they where sellers. i don't know where they got their supply from though. could of been tj or they where being supplied by local traffickers. of course they followed the rule of "don't get high on your own supply." they where basically already getting somewhere with the drug business. i wonder what ever happened to them.

but yeah, these other high school girls that got murdered could have been in the same position and where simply trying to refill their supplies and things went horribly wrong. i haven't kept up to date on the murders but i don't think they've mentioned anything about the girls being raped.

Sunday mornining, enroute to SY, I briefly saw the headline of the Frontera newspaper. A cheif of police was whacked over the weekend.

The four were murdered because of association. The cartels take no prisoners. It's interesting how the US media does not report what was written on the letter left with the bodies.

It is also interesting that you have made a reference to the note and failed to tell us what was on the note as well. Don't be like the US media, tell us what was on the note.......fill us all in.

I have a question, why would someone that lives in Chula Vista need to go to TJ to get drugs when Chula Vista has drugs some of the most connected drug dealers in the country living there? Why would a gang connectted dealer need to risk crossing the border with drugs when you can get them wholesale right there in Chula Vista.

Why can't the powers at be in Mexico figure out that the problem is not with the people that go to party or vacation in Mexico, or with the Americans that share a common border with them, the problem is right there at home with the people that they have trusted with their health, safety, and welfare.

However, I don't want to loose focus-what did the letter say?

Should we take the word of the heinous killers as to why the brutalized a group of teenagers?

I assume this is what they refer to as a rhetorical question because you already answered it earlier. You have been dead-on correct about Mexicans blaming the US for its problems as a way of keeping the average citizens placated.

All kidding aside, there appears to be a campaign to discourage people from visiting Mexico, Tijuana or the Zona Norte. It's going on here at this site. I have no interest in whether a particular monger decides to come to TJ to get laid, if he thinks it's dangerous and doesn't want to "risk it," then that's his call. Our esteemed member "Double" appears to be leading the charge.

Let me try to reply to some of the points raised in his post:

It is also interesting that you have made a reference to the note and failed to tell us what was on the note as well. Don't be like the US media, tell us what was on the note.......fill us all in.

Why is there such a burning desire to know what was in the note? Is everyone over OctoMom already? Connecting the dots here does not require revealing the contents of the note. The source and character should suffice.

It doesn't matter what was in the note. Besides, it's part of an ongoing investigation and the contents might never be released because it might contain the names of prominent Mexican officials or police officers.

I can buy 1/2 kilo of marijuana in TJ today for $100.00. You clearly have information about how well connected Chula Vista drug dealers are to the Mexican cartels, why not share with us how much 1/2 Kilo of pot goes for in Chula Vista today? How about an ounce?

Why can't the powers at be in Mexico figure out that the problem is not with the people that go to party or vacation in Mexico, or with the Americans that share a common border with them, the problem is right there at home with the people that they have trusted with their health, safety, and welfare.

What "problem" are you referring to specifically? There are lots of problems in Mexico, just like in the USA. Pick one. Mexicans are painfully aware of the corruption that is rampant in their government. Unlike America, they figured out a way around it. Society is thriving here on many levels. America, on the other hand, is disappearing up it's own asshole because "certain people" didn't take responsibility for their situation. Now they pay the price.

So be specific please.

However, I don't want to loose focus-what did the letter say?

Should we take the word of the heinous killers as to why the brutalized a group of teenagers?

What "heinous killers" said anything? What does it matter?

These "kids" came here, got involved in the drug business and got killed incidental to that activity. They didn't come here to go dancing; I see bus-loads of American students dancing every Friday and Saturday night at the El Torito bar on Revolution Blvd, they all seem to be having a great time and they all get home safely and in one piece.

So let's talk in specifics, not generalities that we see so often in the press. People deserve to know the truth and to get a feel for what is actually going on here instead of bleeding from the eyeballs at the hysterical reports I see and hear.

TJI went last Saturday. It was ok. The number of girls did drop. But the number of Gringos dropped even lower. It felt like a Thursday before all the Swine Flu & gangster hysteria. It was kind of mellow.

But just in case, I did not wear blue or black or green. Didn't want to be mistaken for a cop. I also didn't wander around like I used to. And I paid an extra buck for a heavy made-in-America cab car because they have a reputation for stopping bullets. Paranoid I was.

However once you're in the clubs, it's fun again. And no one really notices any differences. And the world is left behind.

I posted this in the crime section on the 14th:

"You should be safe as long as you have no dealings with anything drug related. These killings were not a random act, but they were done in a very brutal manner.

"The bodies were described as having been tortured; bludgeoned, beaten and with their skulls crushed. They were found wrapped in blankets early Saturday morning, according to a news release from the Tijuana State Attorney's Office". The girls were 19 and 20 years old, one news report said that the girls had 6" long knife cuts to their faces. You can imagine what else happened to them in the 36 hours from the time they went to Tijuana on Thursday night until they were found on Saturday morning, because the van they were dumped in was dripping blood.

http://www.sandiego6.com/news/local...ybFhtKRbcw.cspx

http://www.10news.com/news/19466337/detail.html

If you go to TJ, be careful who you deal with, those four young adults made a mistake by hanging out with the wrong people, and they didn't see this coming".

Yes there was a report of a note being attached to one of the bodies, as far as what it said I doubt that the public will find out. There was also a letter that was sent from the woman's state prison in San Diego to the 19 year old, she was the one that had cocaine in her system. The cops are following up on that.

Like I said, this was NOT some random crime. At least one of the girls and one of the guys was a player, they say the older girl was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong people.

In Sundays Union Tribune there was a report that 3 young women from Mexicali were dissolved in a barrel of acid last year.

I for one, am looking forward to going down to Tijuana this Wed/Thurs. I prefer the lighter crowds and not having to deal with the usual "cucumber" parties where the guys outnumber the gals like 10 to 1.

2 questions for the group:

1) What are the current rates at AB and HK? Do these reflect the curent economic situation? If nothing else, I'm hoping the gals lighten up and are willing to relax and chat more time vs the usual "arriba? " call 10 seconds into an introduction.

2) Nostalgia question here. I've been going to Tijuana since about 1999. I definitely feel things got more difficult after 9/11. My nostaligic side asks to the old time mongers. What was the zona like back in the 80's? What was better? What was worse.

My only exposure to pre- 1999 Tijuana was a few clips from the movie La Bamba. Was that a total head fake, or was it that cool?

I just received my (mail order from Grand Cayman) gynecologist license!
So all you guys who worry about VD should take me with you to TJ!
You pay the girl and before you go up, I will take her up to give her a quick pelvic examination and let you know if she is clean.

Now if enough guys chip in, we can amortize the costs and lower the price by risk pooling. In order to create greater market efficiencies and maximize my productivity, I will relocate to TJ and personally inspect the girls each and every night, and I will issue each member a VD Default Swap Prostitution Bond, which, in case of failure can be exchanged at any office of Enron for a new or fully reconditioned dick. Offer not valid where member has been previously infected, see paragraph 44,532(b)(1) of the Terms of Agreement for details.

If you are worried about your money, I can show you my gilt-edged degree from Grand Cayman, my altar boy clothing (semen stains still visible), and I carry a AAA rating from the International Federation of Horologists

But wait, if you order now, you get a free Chix with Dix electronic digital Heshe detector.... guaranteed to find the joystick on even the most convincing tranny....

Shouldn't these crime reports be in the CRIME SECTION?

If you guys are not reporting on your actions with girls in TJ then post in the correct section.

Sorry, but this is getting boring.
And, sorry, a bit silly. Yes, the media highlights crime in TJ just as it highlights the shooting of a BLACK RAPPER! In both cases the media sensationalizes crime involving certain segments of society.

Now lets get back to reporting on the TJ girls. Please!

Tjfun is right, we should leave the paranoia talk to the crimes and safety thread. The last thing I will add though is that there was a note left with the bodies of the 4 teens. The note talked about how the kids owed the killers drug money and also something about "let it be a warning to others who try to rip them off." I saw this on the nightly news a few days after the attack happened.

Wow, what a great site this is! I ran across ISG a few weeks ago and have been reviewing this forum as well as the Dominican Rep. Forum ever since. I'm convinced that some of you are former "Penthouse Forum" letter contributors (LOL) but all the info you guys provide is really fantastic. Thanks a lot!

Anyway, I'm heading to Tijuana (from Bonnyville, Alberta) once the Flu scare is over to get some dental work done and plan to stay at the Marriot for a 2 or 3 weeks. Can someone let me know if the Hotel is chica friendly and if any of the Escort agencies are any good?

Any insights or comments are greatly appreciated and thanks again for all your previous posts.

FreezinFreezin,

Sounds like it may be a little early for you, but I'll be driving Baja to Cabo myself in late June. If you can't make it then to caravan, at least look for an additional post from me after that time. If none exists, I may not have made it and proceed with caution!

I'm heading to Cabo mid June with stops in La Paz and Cd. Constitution on the way. It's one of the most beautiful drives a man can make in this part of the world, excepting of course the run from Acapulco to Lazaro Cardenas; Playas Azul is right up there with some of the best scenes in Hawaii.

Mexico is a beautiful country.

Driving to Cabo is serious business. Definitely not 5th wheel roads unless you are a seasoned driver with lots of experience. Even with that I'd advise you to take a vehicle that handles well, especially on windy mountain roads. A 5th wheel will add days to the trip and increase the margin of danger.

i went down friday hoping to get an early jump on the memorial day weekend traffic. got there at about 12 noon. obviously the girls were still asleep from the night before as there were more waiters in the clubs than girls.

after taking a disappointing peep into the clubs, i found myself at my favorite restaurant. la pearla. it is on the opposite corner from hong kong. ordered the seafood enchilada which contained cut up shrimps, octopus, & fish in a green sauce. incredibly good dish. but unless you can handle spicy food like me, i recommend that you ask the waitress to make it less spicy.

thereafter i returned to hong kong where the girls finally made it in. because it was memorial day weekend, the new girls wore cute camouflaged outfits. and oddly enough many of the regular girls had costumes on. pirates of the caribbean. persian princess. flight attendant. i felt like i was at disney land.

then i took a look at the alley, which isn't an actual alley. it's minor street in the back of the main boulevard. interesting enough all the girls were in their prettiest dresses. they didn't wear their usual "slutty" outfits. they looked more like "club" girls. i was very tempted, but didn't have the courage to try one.

walked around the block then ended up back at adelitas. it started to fill up. but as odd as it sounds, its crowd level was like thursday. i spend some time there, got bored, and returned to hong kong.

there i found "the girl" i've waited for my whole life. well, at least when i saw her, it felt like it. if i was 21 again, it would've been love at first sight. but since i'm in my 40s and in tijuana, i really wanted to screw her. she wanted $80 even after a drink. romantic isn't it?

after i told her i loved her about a dozen times, she finally settled on $60. not bad when she initially told me to take my $60 and go back to adelitas while walking away. wow. tough love. but up we went. in the room, she used some sort of industrial thickness condom. it looked & felt more like latex than a condom. i felt like i was wearing an nbc suit preparing for a chemical attack. we went at it for about 40 minutes.

on the way out, the cleaning boy wanted an extra $12 for the extra 10 minutes. when i refused, he told his elderly boss and the both of them badgered me for the extra cash. really pisses me off. lucky for them they each can kick my ass. when confronted by an overwhelming threat, i did what i'm good at. i ran.

it was around 7, i ran back to la pearla and order the gigantic fish special. it's basically a one pound bbq grilled fish loaded with sweet onions & peppers. what can i say? i like mexican seafood food as much as i like mexican women.

afterwards, i took one last trip into hk. went to the door & gave them a $20 for the tecata. door boy hands me back $15. then waits. when i didn't move, he hands me back a dollar more. then waits. i gave him a dirty look. then he surrenders 50 cents more. what a fucker. tries to stiff me out of 50 cents. he's lucky he can kick my ass too. otherwise, i'd give him an earful.

before anyone calls me cheap, i generally give out about 4-5 dollars in quarters to the kids and charities in the street whenever i'm down here. i just get a little peaved when the goons think of me as an imbecile.

personal observation between hk and adelitas. it seems that the girls are at adelitas to go upstairs. they're not there to mingle. the drink that you buy them are just something they actually have to do to remain employed. at hk, it seems that the prettiest girls are there to have drinks. so they often (the best looking ones) quote outrageous prices.

vitamins are actually sold in the adelitas bathroom. but you need to ask the bathroom boy. in the past, they actually lined up viagra. but i suspect that the local authorities notice that the bathroom was a poor area to distribute prescription medication.

i had a talk with the local pharmacist. according to him, viagra is the most potent. but only an 8 hour duration and isn't as nice on your heart. cialis is the least potent, it last up to 36 hours. levitra is somewhere in between in terms of potency & risk.

in the past, i tried 1/3 a cialis. but this time i tried the entire 20 mg pill to see how it works. it's pretty potent stuff as i walked around with a continuous erection. the down side is that it was very difficult to have an orgasm. great if you're an aspiring porn star. bad if you need to finish. so even if cialis isn't supposed to be so potent, it's still pretty strong for someone in their 40s and in good shape. and it seems that the hours duration period is accurate as i still have a major boner while writing this report on saturday afternoon.

security isn't as heavy as in the past. i didn't see armed swat teams with automatic weapons patrolling the zone anymore. also when i reentered the us, our border guards seemed like they weren't as diligent as in the past.

editor's note: i would suggest that the author or another forum member consider posting a link to this report in the reports of distinction thread. please click here (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/announcement-reportsofdistinction.php?) for more information.

...Went to the door & gave them a $20 for the Tecata.

Before anyone calls me cheap,...Great report.

You are taking their questions too seriously. The border guys go to a sort of "roll call" like cops b4 their shift and occasionally get fired up at random to ask questions, maybe you look like some vague drawing of some guy they saw on a poster, etc.

Also, most of the CBP guys NEVER go into Tijuana, they are 100 meters away and never go, so they know LESS than nothing. They are highly discouraged to go, get their info from silly briefings and TV and wild rumors like everyone else.

If you want a laugh, do a YOUTUBE search for "GLENN BECK, MEXICO" and listen to him screaming how we have to send the Marines into Mexico to "stop the invasion" LOLOL, that's what the border guards "know" about TJ.

They are afraid of getting kidnapped, or investigated for corruption if they enter Mexico, etc., so they are just curious what kinda desperate crazy people would go to a place where bullets are flying and people are dropping like flies from the FLU and all the girls have AIDS, etc.

After all, only a bunch of insane perverts would run through a hail of bullets in order to get aids. What kind of sane person would risk almost certain death to go to TJ???!!! LOL. So when they ask you WHY OH WHY did you go down there, consider it a compliment on your bravery. We should get medals.

ON A SLOW NIGHT STOP AND ASK THEM.

They are in what philosophers call the most dangerous state of ignorance,
THEY THINK THEY KNOW MUCH MORE THAN THEY KNOW.

Ask them sometime which parts of TJ are "SAFE".
Ask them if the brunch is good at Sanborns (It's great).
Ask them if the guacamole at the Monte Carlo restaurant is good
(It is fantastic, fresh, and made in a kitchen that is cleaner than 75%
of the Taco Bells in the USA)
See if they know more than you about ANYTHING in TJ.

They have the ILLUSION of knowledge because they read a lot of reports, watch Fox News and think they are "close" to the action....

Watch these and you will see what people believe, and how would they know any different?

Deaths linked to swine flu hit 101 worldwide
2 hours ago
CHICAGO (AP) — A second person in Illinois has died from complications of swine flu — pushing the world's death toll past 100.
Illinois officials said the latest victim was a woman from northwest suburban Cook County who had other medical problems that might have made her illness more severe. They did not give her age, and said no other information would be released.
The death reported Wednesday was the 15th in the U.S. and the 101st worldwide linked to the virus that has sickened more than 12,000 people. The deaths of two more New Yorkers were linked Tuesday to swine flu.
Elsewhere, 83 deaths in Mexico, two in Canada and one in Costa Rica have now been linked to swine flu.

I can understand the reasoning behind the new changes at the border. There has been so much hate over the immigration issue and, lacking any mechanism to deal with it the US Government decided to put all of it's resources into "Inspection BEFORE the fact." They have a policy of "no" unless you can convince them otherwise.

These policies prevent them from being sued and preserve the political positions of those responsible for running the show. Rather than actually work for a living, they decide to make you and me prove to them they have nothing to fear by allowing us to enter the country.

In their defense, they have to do a competent job of making certain that people entering the USA have the legal right to do so, the new rules mean that they can now think less, hoping that it translates into doing more. It never seems to work out that way however.

If I were King of the world, I would run the crossing like this:

Me (The Border Agent): "Hello and welcome to the United States Of America." "Your documents please?"

You (The Crosser): "Thank you officer, here is my passport!"

Me: Scans your passport or card, everything comes back clean, I check your trunk and do a few secret things that only us border agents know about, ask you a few questions and then send you on your way. (Big Smile and waive of course.)

This should take about 15 seconds.

I might ask you more than a question or two, but the fact is you are present and have your paperwork.

If I am the slightest bit concerned about your situation, you go to secondary. I don't hold up the line for 10 minutes.

If you beep on the computer or I get a funny feeling, you go to secondary. That's where they should sort out anything not completely standard and the way God intended it.

You see, this way the line keeps moving.

But NO, NO NO NO NO.

It's amazing to see an organization with almost unlimited resources scramble and labor over such dis-organization.

So when you get there, have your paperwork in order. Answer the questions, be on your way. Many of these guys hate their jobs and want to take it out on you. Play the game.

I went down Friday hoping to get an early jump on the Memorial day weekend traffic.

<snipped for brevity>

And it seems that the hours duration period is accurate as I still have a major boner while writing this report on Saturday afternoon.

.[/blue][/size]LOL @ this. I've been using a half a Cialis (generic from Canada--still works!) each time and I have the same effect. I stay up for hours, but it seems to take about that long to come. I recently had a SP at an AMP ask me "how long does this take?" Tough question to answer!

Desertco -
The boner actually lasted until Monday. So it's a 48 hours for the full 20mg and I was a little concern with it as the slightest scent of female sensuality made me salute including a female border cop. As for the amount of time it takes to come, it was the 40 minutes mark on the 2nd girl an hour later. So yes, I'm sure porn stars use it.

CountryJohn -
it'd be nice if someone put in a fingerprint reader to confirm my identity. I'd surrender some of my right to privacy if it's more convenient for me to cross back and forth.

Pelongera -
it's also irritating when the waiters, photographers, stuff animal seller, seller or roses and seller of candy STALKS you when you're with your girl at HK. It's like a tag-team, constantly interrupting you at every 3 minute intervals. I know that they were stalking me because I intentionally chose a corner booth way in the back for some privacy. Yet somehow they figured out we were there.

lol. I've always wondered about this while waiting in line. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to make a run for it. Unless the doors leading outside to US ground are automatic and they can shut them at the touch of a panic button.

I remember that Cheech Marin movie Born In East L.A. in the end where they get a whole bunch of illegals to cross the border at the same time. They couldn't stop them all cause it was basically a mob of hundreds. I bet that would work. I haven't seen that movie in ages. I should watch it again cause it showcases what TJ was like in the 80's.

Well I'm in my hotel room on the mexican side of the border. i'm staying in the zona rio and I got a pretty good deal on a nice hotel for only 55 bucks a night. I was trying for the mariott but in the end I ended up getting a different hotel. Anyways I'll have reports forthcoming shortly. I may go to AB tonight or I may just chill out in my hotel room. I started out in San Juan, PR and flew to the domincan republic and back, then to orlando,fl from orlando I caught a flight to Atlanta,GA and then to San Diego,CA. I caught the 922 at the airport and rode the trolley all the way to san ysidro and walked across the border and caught a taxi to the hotel. So I'm going to shave and pop in the shower and see how I feel. I've been going for over 17 hours so I'm exhausted. Anyway I hope to have 3 or 4 chicas while I'm here so we'll see what happens.

So I just booked my ticked for Tijuana this June and I've got a couple questions for you vets out there. I'm gonna stay at one of 2 hotels on the strip this time. Previously, I always stay at hacienda de santiago. I'm gonna try Cascades. Connected to adelitas, or the one connected to Hong Kong, I forget the name. Is one better than the other for any reason? More live in girs? Prices? Restaurant service at both? Either have a fridge, a/c, hot water? Any help appreciated. Also, where is the closest place to buy groceries and beer from the strip. I know theres a small store across from hacienda but I'm wondering if theres anything closer with a better food selection. I'm also looking for a good prescription writing doctor since control has my meds. Or a pharmacy who flips OC's. If anyone knows a good one, or has some info please let me know details.

Thanks so much!

Hey fellow mongers,

I'm headed to Tijuana again next month for 5 days and I'm planning on trying out a new hotel. I live in atlanta, so when I head out, I stay for a few days. I always jumped a taxi to the trolley, 20 bucks, but I read about the bus/trolley pass at the airport on the forum, and I think I'll try that this time. Is the bus a bad ride from the airport to the trolley? .

I have a few questions for you vets out there about hotels directly on the strip. Which hotel would you stay at on your trip? Cascades next to AB, or the one HK uses, I forget the name of it. Both have a/c rooms right? Hot water? Does either one have a fridge? , jacuzi? , or room/food service? Which do more girls live at? Prices? Is either one less noisy? Do you guys bring your own sheets when you stay in the zone? Or do they really wash the sheets every time someone stays there?

I always stay at Hacienda and its fairly clean, but I wanna stay right in the zona this time. Is there a better spot I don't know of in the middle of the action? Where do all the girls live? I'd love to catch one on her day off.

Also, anyone know of a good cheap prescription doctor by the zone or border in Tijuana? All info is appreciated. PM me if any of you guys wanna grab a beer the 1st week of August? Tijuana is a breeze for me because of you guys on here. I always fly solo and have never had a problem, I've been more than 10 times in my mongering career. I'm sure thats nothing to some of you guys, but I'm only 25, I've been going to Tijuana since I discovered the playground at 18. Have to Run, thanks,

in all my sexual adventures with 100's of hookers around the world, i have absolutely experienced something unique. female bukkake.

while walking home from a normal massage. ($25 for 45 minutes) i spoke with this lovely chica named linda. (or jane) whatever her name, it was an american name.
she told me $20 plus $5 for the room. i said ok, but in my room.
surprisingly she said ok. usually the girls from the street won't come to your room.

once in the room, i gave her the smell test. her pussy was fresh and clean. i asked her if i could like it and she said "yes, with a smile" hmmmm, that was strange again.

after licking her for a few minutes, she was starting to go wild. i was also noticing her getting very wet like a g-spot orgasm. i thought she had to [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), so i sent her to the toilet. i came back and started licking again, this time she started to cum as i sucked on her clit. instead of a little creaminess cumming out, she squirted just like a g-sport orgasm. at first it grossed me out as at least a 6 ounces hit me in less than a second and i pulled back.

i was so excited that i tried to bareback her. she said "condom???" i said, "no leche inside." she said: "ok" after 10 minutes of some moderate sex i was determined to make her cum completely. i wanted to completely please her as she was a total sweetheart.

after some ferverent sucking on her clit, her vagina actually was gripping my chin. every time she would contract, 4-5 ounces of fluid would shoot up and hit my chin and lips. if my lips were suckling her clit, i would have hot skeen juice in me. she ended up with 7-8 contractions and must have lost a quart of fluid.

if you meet up with her, please treat her with much respect. she is a diamond in the rough. i've only met 3 girls on the streets worth repeating.
if you want to find her, start on santiago hotel, turn left at the first road. (if you go too far, then adelita's will appear on the left) continue walking about 100 feet. there will be an an open space on your left. you will then pass a money changer. she hangs out just after the money changer.

if you want another great personality and decent performer, just before the open space you will see a very good looking girl. talk to all of them. the one that has a great personality is the one to take. i've had 5 performances with her and all of them were fun. she will also go to your hotel on a non busy night. both girls are there around 10 pm.

I've had my dick sucked, and then I've had my dick sucked.

My GF in the Philippines might get second place compared to this girl in Tijuana.

I do believe the Cocksucker of the Year goes to a girl by the name of: (ummmm, I better not post it here.) If you are a senior member or have a lot of posts under you, then I'll happily share it.

She has the endurance and attitude to go for 30 minutes of intense DEEP Throat head bobbin. Unless you guys saw a video, you would not believe what she can do. You can move her head as fast you want, or pound her throat as hard as you want. At one point I had her head moving so fast that she was a complete blur.

She proceeded to lick my ass and balls as much as I wanted.

She is so sweet, that she will ask you if she can use her hand to help get you off.

Please treat her with the utmost of respect. She's had the roughest life.

Currently, she's trying to kick the needle and just got on Methadone. I wish her luck.

thanks to all here, i was able to enjoy the tj scene. brockton o'toole's guide is a must read for any newbie in this regard. i followed his advice to the core and had a safe trip.

i took the trolley from downtown sd, to san ysidro. travel time was 45mins. i left sd around 730pm, as i had to return via train, and didn't want to return too late. i was worried that i would be the rare pasenger walking into tj by myself. but there were hordes of people, all mexicans including adults with kids, who were walking the winding corridors, into mexico. no checks at the border as you enter mexico. immediately after entering, i used the currency exchange there to change to pesos, as i had read here that i may be able to drive a better bargain, but this didn't materialize with my girls. no regrets anyway. past these, i was received by a line of waiting taxi drivers. so didn't have to look for one. i sat in the front seat and muttered 'adelitas' and there was no more conversation. he dropped me off at the right spot, i paid him 5usd which he acepted without any hesitation.

i walked into adelitas and took time enjoying the scene and the girls. the set-up is much like our strip clubs here with a dancing floor and tables/chairs all around. i sat by the bar, towards the back, where all the hot chicks hang out in a cluster, inviting and enticing passersby, with a wink. it felt great to know that you could go upstairs with any of them. the girls, all, looked very young.

i set my eyes on balaria?(i first heard it as malaria?). she looked, to me like a mexican jessica biel. i watched her go with a client and timed her exit and entry to be sure of service. then aproached her and chatted a bit (standing next to her). i speak 0 spanish; therefore had to negotiate with sign language. this is where i think, i lost bargaining power. in the end, i paid the equivalent of 60usd. she showed me out the bar and up the stairs to the hotel, where i paid usd12. then we were in the room.

i must say that the room was clean and not dingy ( i had low expectations). more importantly, my date looked fabulous with natural c breasts. she was 20yrs old. she asked for the donation upfront, to which i yielded. she had soft skin and great lips (upper and lower). i undressed and grabbed her boobs and licked on her tits, sucking and mouthing for a bit. her boobs were a real treat! she got busy trying to keep my little head in attention; put a condom on and gave a good bj with great eye contact. she allowed kising everywhere, but i don't like to do daty / dfk in this setting. used multiple positions to come, including cowgirl, which i enjoyed the most, seeing her jugs jiggle as she rode me. left the room and returned to the bar to hunt for more pussy.

when i came back, to my original position, i was attracted to a petite girl, whose name i can't recall. this time around, i didn't waste much time, as i needed to get back to sd, so took her to the room right away. she had only a cups, but what got my juices flowing was her petite build and bubble butt. it was like my fantasy of mating with a **** teen. i thoroughly enjoyed her participation, though not as gfe like like balaria. i would give anything for the views i cherished, assuming positions of doggie, mish and reverse cowgirl. pussy, tight as it can be, was reason enough to nut with another explosion.

same charitable dobation as before, but fully satisfied woth both my choices and service.

i picked a waiting cab for a ride back to the border for the same 5$. i had to walk the sidewalks to get to the entry corridors and passing thro' us border, had a 15min wait. no problems encountered at border; no questions were asked of me; just the pp got scanned. i noticed there were others with us pp, whose pps didn't get scanned. didn't mind that- as long as i was not questioned. coming out of the border, the train was waiting and i got on to arive downtown at a reasonable time. the train ride was 5$ roundtrip.

total damage 5 (train) + 10 (taxi) + beverage (5, incl tips) + 120 (2 girls) + 2 (for clean up boys): 142 for 2 excelent sessions with tight teens = priceless experience.

i beleive that guys living close to the tj border are lucky to have this option. i am sure, that, except for 'blondes' you can find a girl of your boidy type easily. despite the fear of the unkown and history of security problems recently, i didn't feel insecure any way along the way. during the taxi ride, as we were approaching the bar, i noted a lot of le presence. even looking at them while in the taxi, as it was cruising along, got return glances from them. following brockton o'toole's plan to the dot helped immensely.

She ended up with 7-8 contractions and must have lost a quart of fluid."Danger! Danger! Will Robinson"

That robot for 'Lost in Space' would have blown a few circuits if he were in the room. He probably would have shot lighting bolts in your ass.

Loving the ladies is one thing but you got to love life.

That story will never hit the pages of "Healthy Living" magazine.

Greetings Everyone,

Forum Members wishing to criticize other Members for not following what they consider to be safe sex procedures may do so only in the Safe Sex Thread (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?t=1084). Members may not comment upon, criticize or confront other members on this subject in the general discussion threads. Any such "safe sex complaints" posted in the general discussion threads will be deleted without comment. However...

In addition, Members may not repeatedly post or otherwise taunt other Members regarding their refusal to follow safe sex procedures. Specifically, references to having sex without a condom may be made only by incidental reference and shall not be the focus of any report. Such "safe sex taunting" reports will be deleted without comment.

In other words, I don't want to hear anymore about the subject except in the Safe Sex Thread (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?t=1084).

If you want to criticize another member for not following what you consider to be safe sex practices, then send him a PM.

I believe that it does no good to criticize members for not following what other members may consider to be safe sex practices for the following reasons:

1. It's a disincentive for members to contribute.
2. It never serves to change any one's behavior.
3. It almost always leads to arguments.
4. It provides a "cover" for Serial Antagonists to provoke other members.

To address the usual arguments:

1. If a guy wants to engage in sex without using a condom, that's his risk and his business.

2. If a girl wants to engage in sex without using a condom, that's her risk and her business.

3. If YOU want to protect yourself from either or both of the aforementioned parties, then YOU should use a condom for sex all the time and thus YOU will be protected from the allegedly unsafe sex practices of the other parties.

Thanks,

Jackson

I came back and started licking again, this time she started to cum as I sucked on her clit. Instead of a little creaminess cumming out, she squirted just like a G-Sport orgasm. At first it grossed me out as AT LEAST a 6 ounces hit me in less than a second and I pulled back.

That's awesome, I've been wanting to try a female bukakke myself. But it's rare to find a chica in the zona who cums in a session. Most fake it. And its even more so rare to find one that cums a squirting orgasm. Nice find. But I'll definitely stay away from her. I wouldn't go bareback on a girlfriend even less so on a zona girl.

real female cum is exactly like male cum minus the sperm. so if it was white then it's cum. if it's transparent then it's most likely just [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134). on squirt porn vids, they figure most guys don't know the difference so most of it is [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134).

Sex Ed. homework for you.

Female ejaculation (colloquially known as squirting or gushing[1]) refers to the expulsion of noticeable amounts of clear fluid by human females from the paraurethral ducts through and around the urethra during or before orgasm. The exact source and nature of the fluid continues to be the topic of debate among medical professionals.

Stay away from Rabo Verde. You know he thinks he looks real good.

If she shoots white, that ain't right. No that was not a big clit.

I FEEL PRETTY

MARIA
I feel pretty,
Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
And I pity
Any girl who isn't me tonight.

I feel charming,
Oh, so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel!
And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I'm real.

See the pretty girl in that mirror there:
Who can that attractive girl be?
Such a pretty face,
Such a pretty dress,
Such a pretty smile,
Such a pretty me!

I feel stunning
And entrancing,
Feel like running and dancing for joy,
For I'm loved
By a pretty wonderful boy!

GIRLS
Have you met my good friend Maria,
The craziest girl on the block?
You'll know her the minute you see her,
She's the one who is in an advanced state of shock.

She thinks she's in love.
She thinks she's in Spain.
She isn't in love,
She's merely insane.

It must be the heat
Or some rare disease,
Or too much to eat
Or maybe it's fleas.

Keep away from her,
Send for Chino!
This is not the
Maria we know!

Modest and pure,
Polite and refined,
Well-bred and mature
And out of her mind!

MARIA
I feel pretty,
Oh, so pretty
That the city should give me its key.
A committee
Should be organized to honor me.

GIRLS
La la la la . . .

MARIA
I feel dizzy,
I feel sunny,
I feel fizzy and funny and fine,
And so pretty,
Miss America can just resign!

GIRLS
La la la la . . .

MARIA
See the pretty girl in that mirror there:

GIRLS
What mirror where?

MARIA
Who can that attractive girl be?

GIRLS
Which? What? Where? Whom?

Happy D-Day, by the way.

I flew in today intending to do something else tonight, but I missed the boat (literally!). Decided instead to hop down to TJ for a little fun. Haven't been back since February.

Dropped across the border at about 8:30 pm. Took a cab to La Coahuila. Walked through Adelita and BT, didn't see anything that really caught my eye. AB was pretty packed, normal for a Saturday PM. Looked like more mongers than chicas, so I moved on.

After walking the callejon, I grabbed a street chica named Alejandra just down Constitucion from the police station. Little spinner body, 20 yrs old. 200p sin toda la ropa. She said con chupar on the street, but seemed to forget that in the room, where she said it would be $15 more for oral. bummer. Went with straight banging. Mish, RCG. CG. Finished with a hard lawn-chair sex. Rather mechanical, but OK bang for the buck, as it were.

Afterwards, I decided to drop into Hong Kong to see what was up. $3.50 to get in, including first beer. Wandered around until a cute girl caught my eye. Jesica was standing in the stairwell at the center of the club. She and I took a table where we chatted a little. She spoke no English, so my limited Spanish had to suffice. I had to see if little willy was ready to go after the first pop. We sat through two fichas, two photographers ($5 for a picture), several vendors with gum, stuffed bears, chips, flowers--everything but the kitchen sink. Bought a rose for her while we chatted. Finally, I figured I could go again, so off to the room we went. Usual rate, $60 plus the room.

It turns out Jesica has one child, but she has no baby damage, except for a little sagging on her A-cup boobs, probably from nursing. Her attitude, however, was not as nice. very mechanical. Decent oral skills, but wouldn't let me DATY. In fact, all I could give was a little labial stim--not even digital penetration allowed. yikes!

Finished with RCG and mish. After second pop of the night, we lay there and chatted a little (I tipped the towel boy for "no golpe"). She was nice and chatty--far more friendly than when we were in action.

So, I'd probably not go with Jesica again. She's pretty, has a nice body, and is kind of sweet when you talk with her, but gives far from a GFE. I'll try someone (or someplace) else next time.

Question about passport restriction.

Two Friends and I plan to go down to TJ in the next few weeks for some fun but two of us will not have our passports ready. I am just wondering how much of a hassles the customs guys will give us for not having our passports? I still plan to take my birth certificate and drivers license but curious how badly they may hassle us.

Serial Monger
06-13-09, 00:27
Hey fellow mongers. I'm a long time lurker, but I had to let you guys know about my awesome trip to Tijuana today.

I parked my car at the Beyer trolley stop and rode the trolley down to San Ysidro. Parking is free at Beyer and its only one stop north of the border, so the ride is short.

I walked across the border and into my own personal heaven. For the first time I took a taxi to Zona Norte for $4. My driver insisted on taking me god knows where else, but I demanded to go to Zona Norte.

He dropped me off on Couhillo street. I walked around the Zone, looking at the various chicas and absorbing all the attention. Then I stopped into a sex shop and bought some condoms, viagra and lube. I had something special in mind for todays trip.

After gazing at all the hot and not so hot streetgirls I wandered into Adelitas. There were few men, thankfully, but lots of chicas. I bought a beer for $3.50 and sat down. I was quickly bothered by a girl named Monica. I prefer to choose my own women, but she sat down anyways and stroked my dick. She also ordered a beer for herself, on my tab, of course. I told her "Quero sexo con anal." She was not interested. "Hasta La Vista" I said and left for Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is probably the best strip club I've been in my entire life. Multiple stages, all with scorching hot chicas dancing on them. I climbed the stairs up to the second floor to get an arial view of my new environment. I liked what I saw. Soon a waiter approached me. I ordered a beer and asked if he knew any ladies who'd tolerate my dick in their ass

He brought a beer and a strawberry blond chica in a nurses bikini to me. She was hot, maybe an 8, but not interested in anal. She pointed at her pussy, "Bien," and then her ass, "No bien." Hasta la vista baby. My waiter left to bring back another girl.

When he returned he was accompianed by a super hot black hispanic in a sailor's bikini. Her name was Noshka. We made out for while. I asked for anal. She asked for eighty dollars. We agreed and went upstairs. Noshka has an amazing attitude. She spoke good English and was down to party.

I tore off her outfit and sucked her tits. She bent down and started sucking my dick, sin condom (I didn't ask, but hey, who can say no?). She swallowed my whole dick. She was super enthusiastic, so I fucked her face. Grabbing the back of her head and slamming it into my pelvis. She let spit run down her face. She was one nasty *****.

She stopped sucking me and tossed me onto the bed. I was surprised at her horniness. I pulled on my condom and she mounted me, fucked me and screamed her head off. She was awesome. She talked dirty too. I called her a dirty *****, pulled her close and fucked the shit out of her.

Noshka's pussy was flaming, but I wanted more. I pushed her off of me and down onto her back so I could fuck her missionary style. I fucked her a while in the ****, getting my dick nice and wet. While fucking her I slided my thumb into her asshole. It was warm and soft. I slided in my index finger. Noshka moaned and started rubing her pussy. "Give me your dick!. Shove your dick in my fucking asshole!" She exclaimed. I grabbed my tiny bottle of lube, sprayed some on her asshole and some on my dick. Then I slowly wedged my dick into her tight brown hole. It felt incredible. She moaned, and twisted under my weight. I could only get half way in, so I had her roll over onto her stomach. Her asshole was nice and loose now, so I jammed my dick into her hole and fucked her hard. She took it like a champ, letting me push my dick completely in her asshole, my balls slapping against her black ass.

I fucked her long and hard for a while, finally pulling out and busting a nut in her crack. As I watched my jizz run down her smooth black crack I knew I would remember this. I sponged some cum on my finger and placed it on her tongue. She slurped it down like a starving *****.

This was the best sex of my life. I fucked 2 chicks at once and had every other girl every other way, but anal. Anal was the best. Noshka made it even better with her heroic attitude, dirty mouth and her tall red shoes she kept on the entire time. I give her 10 out of 10. She said she's spending another 2 months in TJ, before returning home to Puerto Rico. I hope to enjoy her company again.

i’m posting this today because i was away from net access the past couple days.

i went into tijuana on monday (6/8) at about 8:30 pm. took a cab to la zona and decided to walk the callejon first. i found a chica dressed in street clothes on the corner of coahuila and constitucion. didn’t look like a regular--more like a local earning a little for the week. anyway, for 200 pesos, plus $6 for the room, we got to it. she had a thin, spinner body, a-cups, 20, with one kid. no baby damage, though she had some faint stretch marks. can’t for the life of me remember her name.

started with cbj, went with mish, cg, and doggie. finished with mish. she sounded more naturally into it than most--none of the over the top stuff, more like some moderate heavy breathing with a little moan here and there. either a good actress or she was getting into it. probably the former, but her noises were enough to help me finish.

after this pop, i decided to check out the clubs. nothing at cc (almost empty) a handful at bt (only a couple who were at all appealing), and the usual assortment at hk, though none looked like what i was craving at the time.

finally sat down in ab. ordered a coke just to relax for a little. i was first approached by a tall, muscular girl who kind of screamed ts to me. her face looked surgically enhanced with puffy lips and a thin nose. think michael jackson on steroids. definitely not my speed. i politely turned her down. next, a gilf came over. probably mid 40s and well worn. looked rode hard and. well, rode hard again. i was nice about it, but turned her away, too.? finally, up walked fernanda from monterey. 24, d/dds, short, speaks very good english. we chatted for a while while i recovered. she says she has two niños in monterey with their abuela. she had worked clubs in mexico df and says she only recently came to tijuana. anyway, after about 40 minutes waiting for me to recharge, we went arriba. 750 pesos plus 150 for the room. well within the exchange rate, btw. (speaking of which, do y’all negotiate to get m$600/m$120 for all? i was just too lazy to do it)

in the room, she started with cbj-- a little too much teeth, but decent use of her tongue. went with mish, cg, and doggie. tried to finish with mish again, but couldn’t quite get there. i had to finish with a hj. we cleaned up (short shower for her, then me), a little dab of hand sanitizer in the right places for me, then back downstairs. i took a cab back to the border. there were no lines at 11:30 or so when i got to the checkpoint. it took maybe 2 minutes to get through.

so, for $1140 mx ($85 at the day’s exchange rate), two pops, two girls. not bad.

one more report to follow.

I spent Wednesday AM in TJ. I thought I was going to leave at 5:30 that day, but got delayed by one day and flew out Thurs. I had already gone over my budget for the trip, so I didn't go back on Thurs AM, too, so Wednesday was it.

I walked over the border at 11:30 am. Since it was a nice day (and fairly busy, considering the economy and all), I walked to the zona. I figured this would be a quickie, so I didn't bother with the clubs. Checked out all the SGs, finally grabbed one of the girls in school-girl skirts who work the corner at coahuila and constitucion in front of the ice cream shop. Mariksa (sp?) is a shortie, 20ish, one kid. A little chubby, but very friendly and hard working. I needed it today.

Anyway, went up to the room, started with CBJ, went with doggy and mish. back to mish and a little more CBJ. THe first knock came and I wasn't finished, so I paid for another 20 minutes. Finally popped at the second knock, but only after a vigorous (but soft) HJ. Those little orange pills (levitra) really seem to desensitize the little guy. Either that or 5 sessions in 4 days did their best to knock him out. I guess it's a good thing I was headed out of town anyway.

So, I finished for MX$500 for the girl, MX$120 for the room. ($47.75US). Would have liked to keep it to one session, but that's what happens when you get old, I guess.

I like TJ, but I gotta spend less when I'm there. See you next time!

Excellent TR.

You saved yourself some money by using pesos.

We all wish we could spend less but nobody wants to skip the fun. Lol

Negotiations probably would have saved you a few more pesos but some times you just do not feel like haggling (after all, it is a bargain price anyways).

I am sure now that you look back ( everyone has 20/20 hind sight) your next trip will be even better.

Those "booster pills" are a double edged sword.

Even though they get you into the race, they do not allow a first place finish or even sometime to finish the race at all.

Glad you had a great time.

A couple of guys with a tilde over their name should be concerned.

FWIW, I would play the "Oh, I thought that went into effect NEXT June!" card, and not let on to the fact that you went into Mexico to bang hookers, all the while knowing that you didn't have the proper documentation to return.

Best case scenario, the guy at the gate harasses you and sends you through. This is actually pretty likely.

Worst likely scenario is that you have to call someone back home (wife, relative, employer, etc) to fax something over, and explain to this person where you were and what you were doing, while being held at customs for several hours.

Total worst case scenario is that they turn you away, and it takes you days to negotiate a return through the consulate.

I'm with everyone else in that I wouldn't do it, but it's a calculated risk, and the odds are in your favor.

I would highly advise against trying to re-enter the USA without proper identification. Apply for a Passport Card, they are $45.00. If you need it within a few weeks, request the Expedite Service which runs an additional $60.00. $105.00 seems like a grip of money, but you have to understand that it will keep you safe. Your life is worth more than $105.00. That's just my take on it.

You could ,possibly, miss a day of work or your flight.

Friday night there was a big police and federal raid on alot of the bars HK, AB, Tropical and a few others. Blockaded the whole zona and for once the taxi guy was right and they did close it down for a short while they flushed guys and girls out of the bars and searched and checked ID's. I missed most of the action. Chicago club is small potatoes now so I dont think the Feds went in there.

Some guy on another site posted link to a composite of security cam videos (mostly HK) of the raid.. was interesting seeing the cops reaction to a bikini clad dancer coming out of HK at about the 5 min mark.

Funny 'Funny Funny to see an impromptu dance against the policia there protecting and serving or maybe servicing. Good stuff.

Years ago these type of raids were frequent, but this was only for the shake down of the owners, or the excuse to come in the bar and run into the dressing room for their fee's of protecting and serving(servicing). obviously these were not the monetary kind of fees.

Sometimes they would escort another branch of government, that checks the girls ID for working. Believe it or not these girls were more scared of that 1 person than the policia or federales.

My girlie at the time was sitting on me< opps I mean with me, and the policia walks in, no problem, then this little dude walks in and the bar gets nil and void of women who are running from this little dude.

Happy Hunting

I would be more worry about why the federals were there than cops touching a tit!I would rather see the cops feeling up a willing chica than see them feeling up unwilling customers ( like me).

Chicas do a good job distracting the cops, keeping them happy and not harassing the paying customers.

Raid looked like more of a show of force to keep the bad guys away.

Hope they continue to keep them away for our safety.

Those federal policia are our protection, no need to fear them.

Local polica make me a bit nervous but never federals.

It is easier for 1 or 2 policia to scam you than a whole group (the split would not be worth it).

Thanks for the link Belgrath.

Interesting. I was in a similar raid a few months ago in the Nuevo Laredo Boystown. Hundreds of military came into the compound in large trucks. They went into every bar and searched. What was odd was they didn't seem to care about me as I wasn't searched at all. But the local Mexican boys were patted down and had their pockets emptied. A military guy actually looked at a guy's cellphone either at the address book or call log. The whole compound was on lockdown and every car was searched on the way out. I was stopped in a taxi. The driver was searched. The military searched the car pretty thoroughly but again this guero was left alone.

I didn't see the Mexican army guys feel up any of the girls but they're pretty disciplined compared to the city/state/federal policia.

this is what really happened.
more than 200 different le including federals , municipals and immigration officials raided the zona norte last friday night.
they were looking for **** minors, drug sale and foreigners working in the clubs. in the process they were caught on camera touching grabbing the dancers from hk which you can see in youtube, there are two bar girls who
filed charges against the federal police "good luck" on this one!
they said the police went thru the girls room and stole all the money from them about $900 dollars from one girl and another $1800 form the other girl, she also said she worked two weeks to earn $1800, and the dough was for her 5 kids back home.
there is also a report about money taken from clients "mongers"
funny i had a few foreigners in ab before mostly from venezuela and colombia.

That's how they spend the millions of dollars US sent for the "drug war."

Tuesday, there was only half the SW out.

Hi guys,

I am reading a fascinating book called "Sex Work and the City:

The Social Geography of Health and Safety in Tijuana, Mexico" by Yasmina Katsulis.

I think it's a must-read for anyone interested in the subject - it is a well-conducted research.

Efjayel,

I am posting the link that might give you more insight on what the book is about and some of the topics it discusses. The book is pretty sizable and well researched, and I would give an injustice to the author to try to summarize it in several insights; plus I am still reading it

https://www.utexas.Edu/utpress/excerpts/exkatsex.html

By the way, I found it at the local college libray by sheer accident, and I am sure that you can find a copy this way, too. I am not a student, but college libraries allow anyone to check their materials out.

Thank you, gentlemen, I am always happy to help.

I can also mention that one of the main things I learned from the book is that a working girl's STD status, in particular HIV, isn't connected much to her work but to her behavior in her leisure time. Especially, the book's findings showed that women who use drugs in their off-time (whether IV or smoking meth etc.) are at much higher risk. So please ask for health cards and chat up a girl a little to find out more about her. It could help you avoid life of pain and suffering.

I talked with customers, professionals, researchers, and policymakers—but I collected the most extensive data from talking with sex workers themselves. In all, I carried out 251 formal interviews with sex workers, 88 of whom worked legally (86 females, 2 transgendered females), and 160 of whom worked illegally (107 females, 14 transgendered females, 42 males).

The survey data presented are not representative of the entire population of sex workers in Tijuana. However, these data allowed me to capture the diversity of occupational experiences and practices among sex workers in Tijuana and to make comparisons among workers based on legal status, gender, and sexual orientation. This is highly important because there are no comprehensive or comparative studies on the sex industry in Tijuana. In my study, I found the ratio of those working illegally to those working legally to be approximately two to one. The actual proportion of workers in each sector is unknown. As mentioned previously, because this study started in a clinical setting with legal workers, the number of those working legally is not representative of the total number out in the real world.

Chapter 5 indicates the manager having the cards for health inspectors. Has anyone seen a TJ Health Card of HK, AB, CC or SW chica recently without going to the manager's office?

My experience in HK is that the girls do not carry their cards. I assumed that management held them. I accompanied one, a while back, to get her exam and renewal. Afterwards, she gave the card back to whoever was in charge. I've also seen a HK doorman checking girls in at the beginning of their shift. He had a whole thick stack of health cards.

OTOH, I've had chicas in CC pull them out of their purse.

S7I always ask SWs for health cards, and generally they share with no problem, especially since I let them know that no card, no business. Once or twice a girl would actually run up to her room and bring a card down for me to look at. Sometimes the girls act coy and dont show it all siting the privacy issues. Several times I also got an attitude from a SW with "why are you asking, you are gonna use a condom anyways, so no card, no problem", but I leave immediately.

How do the girls determine who works the alley and who works the clubs.

It can not be by just looks.

I remember one sw said she had a 6 month contract a couple of years ago.

Is it recruiting with a contract and then the girls are stuck outside ?

Is it age or legal status?

Is it a waiting list for the clubs ?

Seems like CC could have brought some girls in from the cold in the winter.

CC needs chicas to get customers.

My guess the monthly update is reflected on the TJ Health Card some how. Request to see TJ Health card of the provider might cause a stir since high percentage of the providers risk working without it according to 2001 TJ sex practice survey.

I agree and have a passport card but I see guys without passports going through no problem, no secondary. This was as recent as yesterday.

Come on down guys, passport or not. They are not enforcing it for shit yet.

Yep I didn't have my passport both times and they just said "bring it next time". I will get a card just because I don't want to risk loosing my actual passport.

I don't know. But interesting that you brought this up cause I've asked a few bar girls if they started on the street since I figured they all start at the bottom as SW. But surprisingly they all said they started in the bars. One told me she started at Chicago Club but got penalized cause she refused to work over time so she left and joined AB. She then moved to HK cause AB had too much competition.

Another girl was a Mexican-American girl that surprisingly lived near me about ten years ago. She then moved to Italy with a sugar daddy but when that finished, she ended up in TJ where she started in HK and has been there ever since.

An AB girl told me she entered prostitution because her friend used to do it and made good money working at AB. So she decided to do it as well. She applied for AB and was accepted.

A girl from Tropical Bar told me she had only been working there for about a week. She answered an AD in a newspaper and got the job.

I've asked many other bar girls and they all had similar stories but apparently none of them started on the street. Maybe the street girls preffer the street or maybe they are stuck there cause their pimps(the ones that have them) don't want to share their profits with the bars and decide to keep them on the street.
