I searched the forum and could not find anything with bridge and closed.

This Thursday 8/15, I parked at the Jack in the Box as usual at 8pm and walked toward the US east side bridge to cross over to west side to enter Mexico though the turnstiles. The Border Patrol/Customs guy that usually guards the exit to the downstairs tells me bridge is closed and I have to go around. This means walking north west 3 blocks on San Ysidro Blvd across on Camino de La Plaza (west 2 blocks), and then south 3 blocks south on Camiones Way. I think this is almost as unsafe as walking to the Zona with uninsured motorists flying around not caring about pedestrians and lots of bushes for muggers to jump out from. And I'm still in the US!

On the way I pass a taxi next to the Jack In the Box that offers a $5 ride to the west side. I guess that would be more appealing if I had 2 or 3 friends with me, but I wasn't going to pay for a 3rd taxi.

Finally I get to the other side and I see the other entrance is also locked down, closed with a permanent sign that says Closed: Tuesday through Thursday, 2am to 5am. You would assume with a sign saying that, the bridge would be open at Thursday 8pm. Nope the customs & border patrol agents can't even figure out how to post a sign with correct hours. (Thursday 5am was 15 hours before I attempted to cross.)

Anyways Zona was standard for early Thursday night during this recession. Nothing special, nothing crazy. AB and HK are still as good and safe as ever. Thursday the good fresh batch arrive around 9pm. Any earlier is definitely hit or miss.

Good luck

.. if I got in a shot or two they'd be stunned.

DaytonaEvaluate the area when you get there (spidey senses) and use HK to access the alley.

Desperate people will do desperate things ,so watch your back.

Go to the BMV and say you lost your DL. Now take your old DL to the zona and hide some money on you. Just in case.

Step right up, if you have the balls. We got painted ladies, machine guns, terrorism, suicide killers, bandidos, corrupt cops, shootouts, gangsters, gunfights, posses, legless beggars, political assassinations, hired killers, mafia wars, Miami Vice, federales, blood feuds, Grand Theft Auto, we got it all in T.J. Entrance is free, parking costs $5, enter at your own risk!

Exactly the same stuff people want to watch 12 hours a day on television, video games, movies and internet.

If it was a movie starring Brad Pitt and Angelina McFuckface, "NORMAL" people would line up to pay $15 to see it.
The real thing, nobody is interested except us perverts, LOL go figure.....

We first take a stroll through the alley. It seemed that there were more women out than usual, with some very hot bodied young things. As usual I don't have the b*lls to pull the trigger, although with how hot some of the laides were it will be soon.Once you get passed the stigma of the paraditas, you will kick yourself for not giving them a chance earlier.

I also understand that some of you may want to rip on me for walking from the Zona to Ave. Revo. Yes, there are risks involved, but not only is my head on a swivel, but I will actually stop several times and turn around. I stay keenly aware of the situation. If something does not appear right, I step into the street and let the possible situation go by, or cross the street. You are being smart about it and acting cautiously as you should.

Off the Adelitas. I have never seen it so slow in Adelitas, not many women or mongers, even hottie corner was bare. We have a drink and head out to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong was packed. The vibe was rocking, with probably 50-75 girls, and mongers galore. My wingman score with a hot spinner, who later was in the lesbo show.

I was at Adelita on Saturday night and it seemed more like a weekday night than a Saturday. Hong Kong was rocking.

Sunday afternoon I went back to AB and the zona. The last time I was in town, even Sunday afternoon had some real lookers. But this time it was dead with only a few older/larger/uglier girls than I liked. Hong Kong was doing great business and they had a few lookers in their day shift.

I went back to my hotel for a nap then came back to the zona around 1030pm. Adelita had a lot more girls than guys at this point, but still pretty darn slow. There were only a few doable ones. Hong Kong was a party and as usual on the non-busy days they had part of the upstairs area closed off.

A few of my old favoritas from Nuevo Laredo would work over at Chicago and I went over there. It was nearly empty so I walked down the bar area and turned around after not being satisfied with anyone in there. On Saturday night it had a few hotter chicas but they were occupied so I missed out. Sadly, all of them had last night off.

I normally monger in Nuevo Laredo Boystown and look forward to my trips to Tijuana for the variety and volume of hot women. It was markedly quieter from my lasts trips (even the one I took the day after last Christmas) but still is faring better than the Texas border towns.

Hey Sgt Perv:

I have appreciated your posts.

I really don't have a stigma against the paraditas, more of just never been arriba with one so don't know the rooms, etc. I will say that it couldn't be any worse than some of the places I've sessioned with in Costa Rica. If any of you have sessioned at LeGrillion, you know what I'm talking about. It will happen though............

Super Gato:

I agree with what you say about TJ last weekend. It is probably the first time I have not sessioned at Adelitas, and definately the first time I have sessioned at Las Chevelas. Chicago had some good lookers, for having such a limited amount of women. It is good to see it on the upswing again.

I'm looking forward to this weekend, and will post what I find when I get back.

Health & happiness to all.

I've mentioned before that I'm more accustomed to the bar girls than the street girls. Mostly because you get a better feel of the bar girls by hanging out and having drinks before going upstairs. With the street girls, it seems to be all business. Go up to them, make an offer, then go do the deed. Not much time to get to know them. I figure this is good for some guys as it prevents allowing yourself to get close to the girl. It's no strings attached sex which should be the main attraction/reason for visiting the Zona Norte to begin with. But that's just not me.

Also those posted news clippings of surprise attacks on mongers while all they where doing was negotiating with a paradita is somewhat scary. Just another reason for me to want to avoid the alley girls. D:

Today was the first time that I have gone to Cheaters, so I will have a detailed report. Aww what they hell I love retelling the moment any way. Got to the border around 5:45 pm parked at the $5 dollar lot by the Jack in the box. Walked across the border and when to the first cab. I told him Cheaters and he acted like he didn't know where Cheaters was. I'm thinking here we go with the con. He got another guy and he didn't know and he mentioned a few places and I said no. They asked another guy and he knew where it was and had to give my guy directions. I couldn't believe he has never gotten that request.

We approached Cheaters and I saw it first and had to say "aqui aqui" LOL. He didn't have a clue. You walk up a set of stairs, then a bell rings from a sensor that lets girls know to come out. Laura comes out (the tiny one) and tells me to sit on the couch that was right there There was also a tv right above the couch that porn going on. There was a lineup of about 5-6 girls. I had my mind on a few that I had checked out on the website, however when they are live and in the flesh they look different and I forgot which ones I liked. I selected Perla. She was on the website (cheatersmassage). She is really cute and has braces and has some nice C cups. Laura told me that it would be $40 dollars for a hour massage and I could have a shower and I could arrange other services with the girl in the room but because I read these forums, I knew to mention the $60 (after 4pm) promotion. I knew that included full service. She said ok and we went upstairs. So fellas, mention the promotion. It is $80 all inclusive (massage, CBJ, FS) and $60 after 4 pm.

We go upstairs to massage room and it is huge. A lot bigger than the hotel next to Hong Kong. It had to small beds in it, table, tv, closet, and a shower. It was nice. Perla left me to undress and to take a quick shower. She came in handed me a towel to dry off, then she started taking off her clothes. I was laying on the bed enjoying her view, when she started with the massage. We all know the massage is a joke, but it kinda gets you in the mood and at least you get a little more value for your buck before the FS. She rubbed some lotion on my body (5 minutes), then told me to flip. She had this lube out, and began stroking my dick while I sucked her tits. I'm thinking I hope she not just going to give me a HJ. She then pulls out a condom (Whew! ) and gives me some pretty CBJ. She had the spit action going and was even deep throating it. I was impressed.

She lubed herself and hopped on top of me. She felt great and I loved looking at those nits tits. She sounded like she was into it. Making noises and moaning. She was moving her ass. I finished before I could hit it doggy. Took a shower and that was that. Walked out of the joint and was waiting on a cab. None were around and I began to get nervous. All the mugging stories were coming to mind LOL. I didn't want to walk up the street I just wanted to stand right there and wait. Finally one came and I shouted to him and he stopped. Made it back w/o incident.

Overall I was pleased. I actually will continue to go to Cheaters over the HKs and the ADs because you don't have to go through the hassles. You just pick your girl and go upstairs and for the $60 price for the hour is great with very nice spa type rooms and no room fee. Also I believe they have a bar and I will check that out next time.

I remember when going to the Zona meant being on the prowl, scoping out the scene with the posters and the walkers etc. It's not like that anymore. More and more mongers have the destination in mind and the trip planned before crossing the border. This is a very smart way to do things.

While some still like to stroll the Zona Norte, it has become common knowledge that it is increasingly unsafe for the uninitiated or anyone without the years of experience needed to keep the odds in your favor.

While it is still very much possible to prowl without getting into trouble, having the plan in mind usually means a good trip and a nice TR such as is written below.

My only suggestion would be to ask the cab driver for the destination before getting into the cab and if there is ANY hesitation, pick another cab. Don't fuck with these guys who want to hustle you off to a club that pays them a spiff for bringing you there.

Be safe and be nice,

Steelcan - as usual I concur with Country in his assessment of your report. Nice job!

I have seen the parlor's website and am glad to hear that the girls are the same there as pictured - I hate the "bait and switch".

Were there any other girls there as well? Most of those pictured look more girls like your teenage daughter would bring home - I prefer a provider who has had a chance to mature a bit (even if she has gained a couple of kilos),

Anyway great job .... be safe.

I too only go with the bar girls. In the towns bordering the Texas border, there are similar street girls but they stand outside the door to their own room. The pricing is the same -- a very low quote for clothed, one position, no BJ, and then you need to nickel and dime for any extras. The bar girls have a flat fee and no clothes, bj and multiple positions are a given. The only upselling is for things like anal or bbbj/bbfs, etc. I also like the bar environment because like Efjayel says because you can pick up a vibe from the girl over a drink. And in the strip clubs you can see them naked first so you don't get any surprises in the room. The street girls will smile and do that hissing as you walk by and not give you much to go on. Maybe it is just my limited experience with the door and street girls, but the girls are generally uninspired and turn in a poor performance. I like the girls that are animated and bring energy to the session as opposed to staring up at the ceiling saying 'feeenish feeenish' (nothing can prolong a session for me than when the girl says 'feenish.'.

What is great about the Zona is you can it your way. Something for everyone.

You can talk with the paraditas (with your back to the wall) and get a feel for them. There are better places to go if you are looking for a soul mate than the zona (not to say it is impossible).
Yes it seems to be getting riskier on the streets and not the best of times to learn but you have to tear the lace off your panties some time. :D

Some OLD SMUGGLER'S TRICKS

1. Go get a pair of nylon running shorts, with pockets, at Walmart or similar, $5.99 Put your passport and big bills in the pocket of the shorts.

Put on a pair of loose pants, like cargo pants, over the shorts.

Put a few dollars and a comb in the pants pockets.

Now they aren't gonna get the good stuff unless they pull your pants off. And hell you are going to have to take your pants off pretty soon to get to your dick.

2. Get a pair of athletic jock type underwear, with the snapfront pocket for the hard cup. Throw away the cup, and keep your prize jewels in the cup pocket.

You now have your money and your dick in the same handy container, and if you reach for either one, you will get both!

99% of muggers, customs guys and cops will not grab your crotch when they frisk you. Plus you look like you have a really big package.

3. Get a soft eyeglass case or pouch, with the clip. Put your good stuff inside, and clip them into your underwear. Makes your junk look HUGE, women will fear you and men will want to BE you. Also works with a sock and a safety pin, etc., the point is to put them where your dick is because most robbers are male, and don't really want to grab your package. YMMV if you are really pretty and the robber is gay.

4. Put your money in a lubricated condom and.

Swallow your money 23 hours before arrival, it will magically reappear just in time when you need to spend it, and meanwhile ain't nobody gonna find it without a chainsaw. However do not try this with your video camera.

Once even at night. I've even walked the lonely streets that lead to nowhere simply because I was sight seeing. Bad idea but I've done it. I've never once been attacked or in any kind of danger. If anything, the only times I've ever been worried was when the police where scoping me out thinking they might frisk me and take my money as they are known to do.

I suppose that part of my luck is due to the fact that I don't look like a typical tourist or monger. I easily pass off as person doing business there. I give the impression that I know where I am, what I am doing, where I am going and how to get there. And I show that I am not oblivious to my surroundings. When I walk I make eye contact with everyone (except the SW cause they'll start grabbing me if I do. lol) so that they'll know I am aware of them. This probably helps to keep any muggers at bay.

I do know it's all business but if everything was handled like a bank transaction, then there goes half the fun. And I like a full experience. :)

And I like a full experience. :)Even if you've never been somewhere, the key is give the impression you're a regular. Making eye contact with everyone (I will make eye contact with the girls though... they'll hiss at me and I'll hiss back) and always keeping an eye on the periphery. Walking with a sense of purpose and familiarity even if you might be lost. The chineros go for the easy prey long before they go for someone that knows the score. Same with the ratero cops. This isn't a Tijuana only thing. This is everywhere. I've played in some areas that make Zona Norte look like Disneyland.

It blows my mind to see some of the gringo mongers in the zone drunk off their asses and completely oblivious to their surrounding. Loud and obnoxious drawing attention to themselves. There's always that discussion on these boards about wearing shorts and not wanting to stand out from the locals (I wear shorts but dark solid colored shirts without any adornment. I'm clean, comfortable but not flashy in any way) Some guys will dress in loud brightly colored shirts like they're in a Tommy Bahama ad; or dress like they're heading for lunch in La Jolla. They'll have their BlackBerry clipped to their belt or will blindly walk down the street while texting someone. Those are the guys that get mugged, they're the ones that get overcharged by the girls, they're the ones that get short changed by the meseros.

When I was there over the weekend I was walking along Constitution and while panning to my right I saw a guy coming toward me in a fast walk. I stopped turned and looked at him. He turned around and started going off in the other direction. He could have been a mugger or pickpocket. Or he could have been some guy. Either way I didn't get ripped off.

Has anyone ever used the services of the sobadoras on second street by the cathedral? They use massage therapy and chiropractic to heal everything from sore back to knees.

Here's a link to an article I found about them
http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stories/2009/mar/24/lt-mexico-massage-healers-photo-pkg-032409/

I'm thinking about hitting them up the next time I'm in Tijuana. Which should hopefully be next Monday to help my sore back.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Very likely a mugger or just coincidence. Did you two make eye contact? What was his expression when you turned to look at him?

He saw me looking at him and quickly put his eyes toward the street and left in the opposite direction. Sort of that "guilty of something" look people get when they get discovered. It was either a pickpocket/mugger or he had a scam to pull. Or he could have at that very moment remembered he left his stove on at home and turned to go take care of it.

This is my breaking all the rules trip because well, I broke all the rules. This trip was primarily to get some dental work done as I am in bad need of a crown and it turns out I had 7 cavaties ito fill or refill and adition to the tooth that was worn down to the nerve. I started out in Orlando and flew Delta to salt lake city to catch the last flight to san diego that had 20 open seats when I left orlando. When I got to Salt Lake City the flight was oversold by 30 and I was not able to get on and had to sleep in the airport from 8pm central till about 630am central when I was able to catch a flight on southwest to Las Vegas and then connect to San Diego.

When I arrived in San Diego I booked a room at the Days Inn on E st. In Chula Vista for 54 bucks after tax. I could of gotten the motel 6 for 36 plus tax but I would of had to pay 3 bucks for internet and motel 6 doesn't have a hot tub. Took the 922 to the trolley and got off on E st. Was able to check in at 10 am which was nice. Chilled out in the hot tub for a bit soaking my back and neck from sleeping on the SLC airport floor and then showered and shaved and put on my mongering T-shirt. It reads "Roses are red, Violets are blue, Get down on your knees and blow me you *****" LOL and I headed back to the trolley for my 3rd trip to Tijuana.

Arriving in San Ysidro I walk across the bridge and crossed into Mexico around 12:45 and this is where I broke rule #1. I went to the first dentists office I found and asked for a price quote. I should of went to a few more dentists and compared prices but I was so tired I didn't care what the price was I was going to get this damn tooth fixed that had been bugging me for 8 months.

$220 was the price quote I got but that was only if I don't need a root canal. Unfortunately I did need a root canal and the price jumped to 440 bucks. Luckily I have Dental Insurance that paid about 25% of the cost so 338 was my share and I only had to pay half of the price today so 169 I'm already out and I haven't even gotten my dick sucked yet. However my dentist Marisol was an absolute hottie, hotter than some of the chicks at Adelitas. I spent almost 4 hours in that dentists chair and they only did half the work but I didn't mind because I kept looking up at Marisols beautiful face. She noticed that I had 2 different color eyes and brought it up to everyone else in the office and I kinda became a celebrity in the dentists office LOL every so often a dentist would come by my chair and look at my eyes. They filled/refilled 4 cavaities on the right side of my mouth and made the temporary crown and the mold for the permanent crown. I was pleasently surprised that the new fillings were made of porcelin so I no longer looked like I had metal in my mouth from my old fillings. They shot the right side of my face with novocaine like 4 times so my face was so numb I could barely talk. They finally finished the temporary crown and the dentist gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and a pain killer and sent me on my way.

I walked across the courtyard around the corner from the dentists office on Amistad and was looking at pharmacies to get my prescription filled and this is where I broke rule #2 I walked across the Tijuana Bridge into downtown Tijuana. I walked down the hill at El Arco on La Revo and walked to Adelitas.

I figured it was broad daylight and I puffed up as big as a puffer fish to try and deter anyone thinking of trying anything nefarious. I walked to La Revo and El Arco and walked down the hill on la revo instead of constiutcion. I only recognized 1 chica at AB an older chica REALLY old but hot bolt ons. She was the first girl to ever approach me in AB and I turned her down and didn't see her until my second trip. I bought a botle de auga and sat back in hottie central which was virtually deserted at 530pm. I didn't recognize any of the other chicas at all and I was hoping to at least get to talk to my favorita Isabella but she was not there. I was approached by a few chicas none that were very spectacular and a couple of hotties but I wasn't interested in going arriba I was more interested in just kinda taking in the sights and relaxing because my face was still very numb. I did decide to get some pesos from the ATM at Adelitas and witdrew 2000 pesos as we all know purchasing goods and services in mexico in pesos is benefecial due to the exchange rate which is getting lower and lower but still worth converting dollars into pesos.

I hit the Alley and strolled a couple of times when I ran into Donna. Donna was the first paradita I ever picked up. She speaks pretty damn good english and is a fun person to talk to but this is where I broke rule #3. Never see a girl who can't make you cum a second time. The last time I saw Donna she couldn't make me cum because I had already fucked 3 chicas at Adelita bar and I was just plain spent. I agreed to go with Donna after numerous minutes of listening to her beg and plead that she hasn't had a client all day long. Again Donna did not deliver on her promise to make me cum and I had to finish up quickly as the knocks kept coming so I jerked it in her mouth and came on her tits. BBBJ, Covered mish, and some conversation about the Rateros and whats going on in the zona lately. I paid her 400 pesos because she really did try hard to make me cum with the BBBJ but I was just too damn tired to cum and because she is pretty good about talking to me in english about stuff to do in Tijuana and is a joy to be around. I probably won't repeat though. There are far too many sweet young things I'd like to get my hands on in the zona for 1/2 the price. I like when the girls speak english because I like more than just a fuck.

Anyway I broke rule #2 again and decided to walk back to the border. Again I stress that it was broad day light and I felt comfortable doing it but made sure I had my head on the proverbial swivel and was keenly aware of my surroundings. I stopped along the way to fill my prescription. 295 pesos later I had my meds and finished my walk across the border. I do NOT recomend walking BACK to the sentri lilne from downtown as it was a much further walk than it was from Amistad to the zona. Next time I'll take a taxi. I stopped at a Casa De Cambria and exchanged 1 of my 500 peso bills into USD it came to about 38 dollars. The exchange rate keeps getting worse and worse I wish it would go back up to like 15 but it's a little under 13 now and getting lower and lower every day.

I hit the line and the border patrol guy didn't even look at my passport and told me to go through. I rode the trolly back to my hotel and hit the hot tub when all of a sudden a REALLY fucking hot blonde hit the hot tub too with a real ugly guy. She was drop dead fucking gorgeous. I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I believe she was german from the language she was speaking to her ugly ass boyfriend who had a tatoo of her on picture on his leg. I sure wish I could have fucked her. I guess thats why spending time in the zona is so awsome because if you see a girl who strikes your fancy theres a 99.5% chance that you can strike a deal with her and get in her panties LOL. I realize I need to broaden my horizons and head to Amsterdamn and Germany sometime. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my trips to tijuana but I'm not that attracted to a lot of the women like I am the european ladies. Blondes and redheads are definately my preference. I wonder if I could monger in Ireland. I've heard the mongering there is virtually nonexistant but the redheads would be worth it to me.

I woke up the next morning in a little less pain than the day before. It does hurt to bite down on the temporary crown but hopefully it will all be better next week when I fly back for the remaining work. I was really aching to have one more experience before I left the area so I bought another day trip trolley pass and headed to San Ysidro around 8am. I again broke rule #2 and walked from the border to the zona norte and again encountered no problems. Not even any beggars this time. I couldn't believe it. Adelitas was closed. The door shut, same thing with Hong Kong, and chicago club. All completely barren. So I walked around the alley and was hit up by a really NASTY walker. She was fat, and ugly, and was trying to tell me she would let me fuck her in the ass (I wouldn't even want to SEE her ass. Let alone stick my cock in it.) So I dismissed her and she sucked her teeth like I was missing out on something. I saw another bigger chica with the HUGEST TITS I'VE EVER SEEN standing on the corner by Hong Kong club. I thought about hitting her up because I'm a total boob man but the rest of her body didn't appeal to me. I was in the mood for a young spinner with a smoking hot rail thin body and a pretty face.

I found her on the corner constitucion and cohoullia. Her name was melissa and she spoke some english. She had the absolute hottest body, wearing skin tight mini skirt (purple) with thong panties and a face like an angel. I never did discuss any money with her and before I knew it we were in one of the hotels over by where all the school girl paraditas stand on contiutcion close to bar delicias. 60 pesos for the room and we were soon hugging eachother and exchanging pleasentries in both english and in my barbous high school spanish. Then it was on to the business at hand. Started with a CBJ and man could she deep throat. I was impressed. Soon I couldn't take it anymore and I had to put my cock inside this lovely little thing so I asked her if she could lie down for me and I'll get it missionary. She complied and put a little lube on.

Sure enough with this beautiful young thing telling me how much she was enjoying our session I came just as the first knock came. She invited me to rest after the session and began talking to me in both english and spanish again and I asked her where a god place to meet regular chicas was and she told me about Las Pulgas. I haven't been in this place but I hope to go sometime soon. She told me my spanish was pretty good and that she appreciated that I even tried to speak her language. She told me that most gringos don't even speak spanish and she doesn't like them when they treat her rudely and make fun of her in english thinking that she doesn't understand. She said the chineese guys are her favorites because most of them speak spanish and they have lots of money. LOL I told her I'd heard that from a few different chicas.

Having completed my purpose of going to the zona I gave Melissa 250 pesos and I recieved no complaints for that ammount and a kiss on the cheek as I bid her adieu. I then decided to walk around the zona one more time and grab a soda. It's funny how things are generally less expensive in mexico. I got a 750ML pepsi which is almost 1 liter of soda for.85 cents. Some places in the US you can't even get a 12 oz. Soda for.85 cents. While walking cjon cohullia the police showed up (the blue uniformed ones) and they arrested 7 men and had them in hand cuffs in the back of a pickup truck. I wonder if they were some of the rateros we've heard about lately. As a mattter of fact I noticed ALOT of police presence during the morning hours while I was in the zona. I think I saw a white girl walking the streets as she asked to read my shirt in perfect english and then said "ok, lets go do it" but I ignored her and kept walking, then I hopped in a taxi libre and had him take me to la linea. He was a good driver. Spoke perfect english and we chatted for the whole ride about the rateros, how it's been slow in the zona, about the exchange rates, drivers in mexico, and the like. I gave him 50 pesos for the ride and a 1 dollar USD tip because I didn't feel like searching for my 10 peso coins. I walked back across the border and the border patrol were checking documents at the gate and they had the cheese cutter gate closed. When I went through the line the border patrol guy got a big kick out of my mongering shirt. He said not to let anyone do what was on my shirt until I got back to my place LOL. He didn't wanna see me getting blown at the trolly station either. We both had a big laugh and he sent me through not even swiping my passport. A pretty cool guy who seemed to know the score and was cool with it.

I hopped on the trolly again back to my hotel to shower up and get ready for my ride home. I spoke to a wonderful couple from chicago who were visiting family in San Diego and Tijuana on the trolley and the woman of the couple gave me some litterature about god. I took it. Never reading it but didn't want to be rude as they were nice to talk to. Got myself a pizza for 5.75 at the America Station and rode the 992 back to the Airport. I unfortunately did not make it onto the southwest Houston flight which would of gotten me back to Orlando at 11:55pm so I am now booked on the 4:20 (LOL I know 4:20) flight to Las Vegas where I will fly to Milwaukee at 11pm so I'll have 5 hours in vegas to gamble a little on the video poker machines. I get to Milwaukee at 455 in the morning and then I can fly to Orlando after a 2 hour sit in Milwaukee. Luckily I have a lounge available to me in Milwaukee so I can relax for an hour and take a nap on the couches in there.

In closing. I spent about 30 hours in SD/Tijuana and got laid twice for about 650 pesos in American Dollars thats about 50.50 plus 6 USD at 1 hotel and 60 pesos at another hotel which is about 4.50 USD for a grand total of 10.50 for hotels in Tijuana. I overpaid a little to Donna but I like to tip the english speakers a little more for the conversation opportunities. I got my tooth a temporary crown and will have to come back next week to get the remainder of the work done. I still have about 400 pesos left that I can use for next week. I may decide to walk to the zona from now on if it's during the daytime. I didn't feel threatened at all and was lucky to not have encountered any trouble on my trip.

Cost of Hotels in Tijuana = 10.50
Cost of two girls in Tijuana = 50.50
Cost of Cab back to border = 4.88
Cost of two day trolly pass = 10.00
Cost of Hotel in Chula Vista = 60.00
Cost of Food and beverage = 20.35

Total cost of hotels, food, transportation, and chicas for 2 days = 156.23 divided by 2 days equals 78.11 per day. Getting my rocks off inside of a hot young chica with a smoking hot body = PRICELESS. Sometimes it pays to break the rules.

Till Next Week,

Daytona

It just shows if you use your head , it does not have to be expensive. You even included a night in a hotel. Actually it seems you only spent about $70 south of the border and got laid twice. You admit you knowingly ,willingly paid more than you had to. You definitely are in the lead for any $100 challenge. Hell you could have gotten laid a third time with your method and had pesos left over. lol

Thanks for the TR.

Let me point out that rule #2 really only applies at night. I've walked the route from the border to the arch many, many times during the day. It's a pleasant walk, except for the smelly river. At night, well, maybe another story.

Now, unfortunately, the bit from the arch to Coahuila has gotten out of hand. A couple weeks back 6 separate guys were choked out on Constitucion and/or Primera.

Don't forget to post your followup TR!

Hello Daytonamonger,

Great report. I had some dental work recently done here in Mexico similar to yours(filling removed and replaced with porcelain) and later ran into some complications. It really did not have anything to do with the proficiency of the Mexican dentist but the procedure itself, which I later found out is not recommended. Needless to say, I wish I knew now what I didn't know then. If you would like, you can PM me and I will tell you what I know and what you need to be aware of.

My costs where as follows.

Removal of almagen filling and replaced with porcelain - $500 pesos
New cavity filled with porcelain - $500 pesos
Laser teeth whitening - $750 pesos
Teeth cleaning - $250 pesos

Factoring in the exchange rate, I believe that I saved around US $300.00.
for comparable services offered stateside. Or, at today's exchange rate, around $3800 pesos.

A first for me three BBBJs with no negotiations.I had similar good fortune during several recent trips to the Zona Norte with two girls from the Adelita Bar and one from the Hong Kong Club. All three agreed to do a BBBJ, albeit for a tip of $20 on top of a $60 session fee. I realize this is at the high end of the pricing scale, but for me it was worth because (a) the girls were hot, and (b) I very much enjoy a BBBJ before the main event.

Granted, we are still a long way from the good old days when a BBBJ was de rigueur. And none of my sessions came even close to the mind blowing experience of launching a massive load all over the gorgeous face of teen dream Sophi out of the Chicago Club back in the day. But I do think more and more girls are willing to provide a BBBJ these days, and that's a good thing.

Let's not forget he went with Street girls only and for 15 minutes each with hardly any extras. Some might be okay with this, but 15 minute sessions, limited removal of clothing, two positions, etc., just don't cut it for me.

Not sure were you read he had limited removal of clothing considering he came on her tits.

Again Donna did not deliver on her promise to make me cum and I had to finish up quickly as the knocks kept coming so I jerked it in her mouth and came on her tits. BBBJ, Covered mish, and some conversation about the Rateros and whats going on in the zona lately.Doing a paradita you better not suffer from "stage fright" and if you want more time you can negotiate for it also.

Downside Of Paraditas

1)You may walk away from them not knowing her favorite color or what she thinks about when she is alone or what her plans are for the future but then again you did not buy her the ficha drink for the valuable/meaningful information.

2)You might walk away feeling ashamed that you came to TJ just to get laid like some animal.

3)You might stay awake for a few nights after, for going to TJ to have sex with what you found attractive without having a meaningful relationship.

I understand wanting and needing that bonding period of mutual caring and respect before ever doing such an intimate act with some man's little girl.

You need to know that she cares about you as a person and not as a customer.

No! I am just bullshittting with you and even felt wimpy writing that. I got pesos left so next chica please!

Mexico decriminalizes small-scale drug possession
Aug 21 04:58 AM US/Eastern
By MARK STEVENSON
Associated Press Writer
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico decriminalized small amounts of marijuana, cocaine and heroin on Friday—a move that prosecutors say makes sense even in the midst of the government's grueling battle against drug traffickers.
Prosecutors said the new law sets clear limits that keep Mexico's corruption-prone police from extorting casual users and offers addicts free treatment to keep growing domestic drug use in check.

"This is not legalization, this is regulating the issue and giving citizens greater legal certainty," said Bernardo Espino del Castillo of the attorney general's office.

The new law sets out maximum "personal use" amounts for drugs, also including LSD and methamphetamine. People detained with those quantities no longer face criminal prosecution.

Espino del Castillo says, in practice, small users almost never did face charges anyway. Under the previous law, the possession of any amount of drugs was punishable by stiff jail sentences, but there was leeway for addicts caught with smaller amounts.

"We couldn't charge somebody who was in possession of a dose of a drug, there was no way ... because the person would claim they were an addict," he said.

Despite the provisions, police sometimes hauled in suspects and demanded bribes, threatening long jail sentences if people did not pay.

"The bad thing was that it was left up to the discretion of the detective, and it could open the door to corruption or extortion," Espino del Castillo said.

Anyone caught with drug amounts under the new personal-use limit will be encouraged to seek treatment, and for those caught a third time treatment is mandatory.

The maximum amount of marijuana for "personal use" under the new law is 5 grams—the equivalent of about four joints. The limit is a half gram for cocaine, the equivalent of about 4 "lines." For other drugs, the limits are 50 milligrams of heroin, 40 milligrams for methamphetamine and 0.015 milligrams for LSD.

Mexico has emphasized the need to differentiate drug addicts and casual users from the violent traffickers whose turf battles have contributed to the deaths of more than 11,000 people since President Felipe Calderon took office in late 2006.

But one expert saw potential for conflict under the new law.

Javier Oliva, a political scientist at Mexico's National Autonomous University, said the new law posed "a serious contradiction" for the Calderon administration.

"If they decriminalize drugs it could lead the army, which has been given the task of combating this, to say 'What are we doing'?" he said.

Officials said the legal changes could help the government focus more on big-time traffickers.

Espino del Castillo said since Calderon took office, there have been over 15,000 police searches related to small-scale drug dealing or possession, with 95,000 people detained—but only 12 to 15 percent of whom were ever charged with anything.

I was in Tijuana back in early June and had no problems with rateros or other savory types. Has this problem been going on for long? I don't remember hearing much about it when I was there, even from the cabbies. So Constitucion is getting bad? What about the lower end between the callejon and Coahuila? Is that getting a little dangerous, too?

I was thinking of taking a weekender to SD and Tijuana for some fun in October, but I may change plans and go to Vegas. A little pricier for P4P, but it sounds like it's safer, too.

I always figured the zona was safe because it brought tourist $$ into Mexico's economy. Now I'm not so sure.

Any thoughts?

Wait til closer to October and see how it is then.

They were getting so bad ,even the sw were getting robbed.

People are complaining so let wait and see how well TJ cops do their job.

Any thoughts?Vegas has a plethora of p4p opportunities but none within the city limits. If you are caught with a prostitute you will most likely get arrested, or at least cited and given a court date. Legal Options are available outside city limits (Nearby Nye county) but you're going to pay anywhere from 300-1000 dollars for your session. For that price you could get laid for a week to a month in TJ.

If you need any vegas tips or pointers feel free to ask me. I can't PM anyone but I might be able to recieve them as i'm not a supporting member yet but I have gone to vegas for 3 days without spending more than 60 bucks on everything including a BBBJ from a girl on fremont. Donna was completely naked. And Melissa removed her bottoms but not her top. I'm sure I could have negotiated extras if I wanted them. I just wanted my cock in her pussy. Which is something I'd have to pay at least 100 bucks for here for a girl of Melissas age, beauty, and stature. Not to mention another 30-50 bucks for the hotel room as I do NOT take girls back to my house. Plus where I live is a 30 mile drive to the nearest mongering spot. Ever tried to take a street girl in LA 30 miles away from her stroll? You're likely to get stabbed. LOL.

Anyways. Just thought I'd say FJL does seem to contribute good info to the board however I'm still a (relative) newbie. The current wave of muggers who choke guys is increasing but I've read archives of w s g and ISG from more than 10 years ago where it has always happened. What changes from time to time is the amount of police coverage and it was slacking off and the criminals were taking advantage of it.

I was there last weekend and the Coahuila block with AB and HK (and even over the CC) had decent police coverage and I felt safe as ever. I tend to stick with the bars, but the alley and Constitution between the alley and Coahuila didn't seem any more or less dangerous than ever. And I did see police walking the alley a few times which I didn't remember seeing as much of unless a crime happened than in the past.

Tijuana has always had crime and danger and probably always will. The key is to be alert and know your surroundings. I had a great time when I was there and wouldn't let a rash of muggings blocks away from Coahuila deter me from a night of fun.

The muggings have happened for years. But it seems that it was mostly confined to nights, certain areas where the rateros and addicts were known to hang out, to very inebriated people, etc. Lately it has gotten extremely brazen. My assault happend at noon on a busy street (Constitucion). A week or two later 6 guys were mugged in the same approximate area in the space of a single day, during daylight hours. Of course, this was happening with absolutely no police presence.

I've not been able to return for a month, or so, but not due to mugging reasons. But I understand the cops have increased their presence substantially, at least at night.

The consensus now seems to be to take a cab directly to the door of a club. Then, to stay in the Coahuila area between the major clubs and/or the alley proper. Many are recommending to completely avoid Constitucion and Articulo 123. Then, take a cab out of the Zona to the border, or wherever you're staying.

The Mexicans aren't really concerned about how much money the ZN brings in, as far as I can tell. If it fell off the planet tomorrow, I'll bet there wouldn't be too many upset people.

Not sure what prompted it but Friday and Saturday several police trucks were sweeping through zona norte picking up any Mexican who looked suspicious. One shoe shine guy I spoke with last night said he was hauled in overnight. This happened to him a lot last year so it appears they are back on street sweeping patrol for awhile.

I would still proceed with caution to see how things pan out over the next few weeks.

I have not dared to go with a SW in the states for safety reasons and LE reasons. With TJ somewhat nearby, I don't have to.

I know that some SG will remove all their clothing and some will not. In my experience they did half and half.

PPN,

I forgot to mention. I work in the Airline Industry so I fly for free. All I'm out is my time. The only thing I have to pay for when I fly is chocolates to bribe the gate agents, flight attendants and pilots, and even then it's not neccesary to do so.

DaytonaIt all makes more sense now. Free travel is one hell of a bonus. Dental thing did not make sense with airfare and it explains the delays in flight.

Your PM power should work now. Check your control panel setting. I have tried to send you a pm and it says your is turned off. I thought it took senior status but when I checked the rule it says regular member have it also. Supposed to be automatic activation so maybe Jackson can help you.

I am all about being smart (frugal) with my pesos in the zona. No need to accept being "tourist fucked". Noway can you get the "local" price but you can damn sure get close on somethings.

Try a massage while you are in TJ (legit). Makes a world of difference and a nice way to relax after the dentist. $25 per hour of real massage. Make sure you get the "TJ price" and not the tourist price.

I'm what you would call a "frugal" guy. I don't like to pay more than I have to for something (unless I've deemed the service worthy enough I'm a frugal guy, not an A$$hole. LOL) Some actually call me resourceful.

I'm lookinig forward to going back again tommorow. I will get my final crown put on and hopefully I'll feel like heading to the zona. Otherwise I'll do so the next morning.

DaytonaThe only other thing I would suggest other than the massage for a better trip would be to stay in TJ to eliminate travel time. You seem to stay aware and know the area ( not a fresh newbie). Staying in TJ would give you a more relaxed stay and better access to the different shifts of chicas. During the week ,as been reported, you can get a nice room at a nice hotel for what you spent on a US hotel.

Looking forward to Daytonamongers Next Great Adventure. :D

P.S. Try the fruit bars at the ice cream store, they have a serious fruit taste and are cheap.

The current wave of muggers who choke guys is increasing but I've read archives of w s g and ISG from more than 10 years ago where it has always happened. What changes from time to time is the amount of police coverage and it was slacking off and the criminals were taking advantage of it.

The muggings decreased dramatically with the opening and staffing of the police caseta across from the alley on Constitucion. I believe they will continue until the caseta is re opened.

Also I find it hard to believe you've been "scanning these boards since" you where 18. That would be 1996 when AOL was king. I was still in high school then and probably you where too. lol :)I graduated high school in 1996. I picked up my first street girl in Daytona Beach, Florida 3 months afrer I graduated. 1 month after my 18th birthday. I have used online services (like prodigy, compuserv, aol, and GEnie etc.) since 1990. Back when you had to connect vis your phone line by a 1200 baud modem which was top of the line back then, since around 1990.

I have lurked the daytona, orlando, jacksonville boards for quite some time. Only recently have I begun to post however. Call it not wantint to air my dirty laundry or whatever you want to. The legality of the activity in the zona norte brought me to say hey I guess it's ok to talk about in the open as I'm not breaking any laws. Not so here in the states although due to my posting here I have begun posting some of my experiences on my florida area boards.

I assure you FJL....I'm a straight up guy, and I don't bullshit unless I openly tell you I'm bullshitting you. So yes I have lurked the board since the mid to late 90's.

Ps. I'm on my way too Vegas right now. I got released in Atlanta and am on my way to vegas as we speak. Using the inflight internet connection to post this. When I get to vegas I''ll spend one night at hooters hotel and casino and head to SD in the morning. Can't wait to get there.

Vegas has a plethora of p4p opportunities but none within the city limits.

Thats one city you can do on the cheapy cheap with the proper planning.

Daytona

Yep that's what I experienced outside of Clark County. You need to head up state which its legal and cheap, but honestly not all that cheap and the truly cheap is FUGGLY and often times past its due date.

TJ is much closer (90 mins vs 3.5 hours) and much cheaper even with the exchange rate jumping between high 12's and low 13's for awhile now.

I totally agree for $1,000 you could bang as much as you can stand for a month, rent an apartment, eat well and be safe in TJ.

Just wondering if anyone knows how close to the USA Border it is? Is it relatively close to the rest of the spots. Adelita. CC. Etc.

This weekend was another "run for the border". With two weekends in a row, my body needs a break.

I took Amtrak from Anaheim Station $50.00 round trip, and another $2.50 for the trolley to the border. I like Amtrak especially coming home, I slept for most of the tow hours. I must be going too often as the Station Manager says hello and he remembers me.

Stayed at the hotel on Ave. Revo as usual, which the special is now under $30.00 per night. Clean and quiet, quite a deal.

There were six of us, 3 members from another board, and three of their friends. All good guys and had a great time partying with them.

We spent most of the time in Adelitas which this weekend had more women than last weekend. Hong Kong seemed down in women, but a sh*tload of guys. Chicago Club was pretty slow, but some real lookers in there. The SG's were not out in force, but there are still some VGL ladies to be had for $25-$30, and all that I asked said yes, "sin ropa", with a twenty dollar starting point. I think as slow as it is for them right now you could probably get sin ropa for the twenty.

I only sessioned with two ladies this trip. First, while not a spinner, was petite, with a very nice set of naturals. Pretty in the GND type of way, really pretty face, and a great smile. A good session. The next was total opposite. She is very tall, nice rack, with huge nips. She has just returned from her home, Jalisco, and had not had sex in 12 days. It showed in the rack, she really enjoyed it. I will repeat, maybe, with both.

I showed a couple of the guys my favorite restaurant, Taco Bell. Three of us had 9 tacos, also two beers, and I had a Margarita. Total tab was $9.00. The salsa (avocado type) they use has just enough spice to taste good, but not get my heart on fire. Other than that, the hot dogs at around midnight from the street vendors are a real treat.

We walked from Ave. Revo to the Zona almost always, and had no problems at any time. It didn't seem like the huge Policia presence that is there often, but they were around. As usual, my head was on a swivel, always aware of who is around me.

Thanks to those that were there, it made for a nice trip. I'm looking forward to my next "Run for the Border".

Health & happiness to all.

Hello DJ FourMoney,

With rent, P4P five times a week at the casa de citas, eating out everyday, controlled-clubbing twice a week and all other expenses my budget is around $2100 US/month(27000 pesos) here in Monterrey, MX.

It can be done cheaper, but I don't fu_k ugly chicas. A quality session here with an attractive Mexicana is going to set you back $600-800 pesos.

The girls that charge $100-200 pesos that you may hear or read about in Mexico are generally not doable and the session in all likelihood would result in a case of poor sperm management.

I think that a $1000 budget is going to be tough to do in any part of Mexico, even in today's favorable P4P conditions.

When I was coming back from TJ the weekend of the 14th it seemed every time I went through pedestrian line there were people in the lane next to me that would only have their driver's license and/or birth certificate. The agent was say "... so none of you have a passport or passport card? You really need to have that next time" and would let the obvious gringos go. Your mileage may vary, of course. I don't know when they'll start being more strict and send everyone w/o proper credentials to secondary.

Ultimately if you are a legal citizen or permanent resident they will let you back in but they may pull you aside and need to verify information and pretty much slow you down.

It is on 6th street. From Revolution street, keep going until you see 6th street and make a right turn. You can see it on the corner of revolution & 6th. Three girls come out for you to see. After paying $60 for 1 hour, I follow the girl I pick to the room. I take shower and wait for her to bring clean tower. We start to have sex right away. Forget the massage. Suck her tits, finger her pussy until she comes. After that We do doggy, mission, And watch her masturbate. I enjoy it very much.

I stayed in Tijuana on my second trip back in June (my first trip was in may) I stayed at the fiesta inn over on nino heros. I am still kinda a fresh newbie but Brockton's (years old and continuing to be updated) FAQ is absolutely idiot proof. I wish other boards on this forum had a faq as easy to follow as his. I'm thinking about making a copy of his report and posting pictures with it to help other newbies get from SD to TJ with minimal hassles.

BTW...today a shoe shine guy asked me for a quarter and I said "no senor, no gracias" he spoke in broken english "cheap, you cheap bastard" LOL. I thought it was funny but he seemed legitmately pissed off that I wouldn't give him a quarter. I am thinking about staying closer to the zona when I'm able to spend a few days in town. currently I fly in for 1 day. stay the night and leave the next. I have 2 weeks of vacation coming up so I may have to spend a few nights on la revo close to the action. Any recomondatinos for hotels where my shit won't get stolen?

"Let's not forget he went with Street girls only and for 15 minutes each with hardly any extras. Some might be okay with this, but 15 minute sessions, limited removal of clothing, two positions, etc, just don't cut it for me."
Yes FJL, we're all aware that you prefer to sit at home in LA and vicariously live other mongers' experiences and comment on them. More your line.
Now that you read the entire context, any questions?

Finally ask exactly what you want and from where (Street Girl or Club Girl).

You will want to buy/play in the Zona.

You paying in USD or are you going to be smart and use MXN ?

SG figure 200 pesos and up depending on what you want.

SG figure $20 USD and up depending on what you want.

CG figure 500 pesos and up.

Any recomondatinos for hotels where my shit won't get stolen?

DaytonaI will not stay in the zona itself for a few reasons such as noise.police raids and needing to take a break from it at times. I have not the balls to stay on Nino Heroes, too iffy area. I do not have a high "creature of comfort" demand in me. I just need clean and safe. I have always liked Hotel Nelson because of the location plus the bar and cafe they have in the hotel. I can dip back and forth from the zona (1/2 block) for more cash, bathroom or a break. Safe there because my freinds and I have never had the slightest of trouble there. Always leave my key at the front desk when I am out and about. I have done many TLN there also.
I can pm you some links to other hotel that are newer with more luxuries (still around or below $60 ) depending how much time you are planning on staying in your room.

Some of these other guys stay further down on Ave Rev and can tell you about them. You are talking about Oct. trip so A/C will not be an issue. I like being within actual short walking distance and I can always change hotels if something else catches my interest. Like if on a extended stay I want visit a regular night club one night down further on Ave Rev.,I can just get a room close to it for that night if I might drink or taxi back.

this trip was planned but worked out better than planned. origionally i was supposed to fly from orlando to atlanta, and atlanta to san diego on monday morning. on sunday night i was released in atlanta and flew to las vegas where i got to spend the night at hooters hotel and casino for 20 bucks. an awsome price. played some craps in the morning and then got the bus to the airport. just making the 9:30am flight to san diego. plenty of open seats, and i'm in san diego by 10:30. i stopped at taco bell across the stret from my hotel and had lunch and i wasted no time checking in to the days inn again. this time i was able to get the room for 49 bucks. i dropped my stuff off in the room and hopped on the trolley down to the border.

crossing the border i went to my dentists office where marisol was free and available to begin working on me again. damn she is gorgeous...she's girlfriend material. anyway the dentist finished my root canal (no wonder i had been in pain all week fucker left the nerve in the tooth) and marisol made the post for my crown. apparently i have to come back again for the porcelin tooth as they fitted me for a plastic one this time. but my mouth feels so much better without that nerve.

after sitting in that chair for 3 hours i was ready for some fun so i headed by foot across the bridge to downtown tijuana. walked down la revo at el arco headed for the zona. i again stopped into adelitas for a 3.50 bottle of water (4 after tip). i still had about 400 pesos left over from my last trip to the zona the week before so i was going to get a paradita but thought i'd warm up in ab first. i didn't recognize any of the girls this time. not even the old skank that always tries to get me to go with her. no sign of isabella or her sister (i imagine she went back home). surprisingly i wasn't approached once today. i was wearing khaki pants and a black collared shirt if any of you guys were at ab around 4pm on the 24th. i was there too. i tipped a couple of the dancers and got a feel of one of their bolt ons....the other i got a nice feel of her ass.

i headed to the alley after i was done with ab. i don't know why but i don't like walking through hong kong to ge to the alley. it is very convienant if you are already in hk but i feel bad going in there and not buying anything just to walk out the back door. i like walking around the corner too because that taco stand that is there smells great. i have yet to partake at any of the taco carts yet. i have eaten at one restraunt in the zona and it was decent. walking the alley i didn't find any girls that really tickled my fancy until i came upon "dasha". i think thats what she told me. dasha spoke no english at all but i knew enough spanish to say "hola como te llamas", "me llamo daytona, tu eres muy bonita, vamos a hotel?" i mentioned no money, paid 60 pesos for the room for 15 minutes, i horribly negotiated in my high school spanish for dasha to be fully nude, with some titty sucking, followed by cow girl and finished by missionary all con condom. i gave her 300 pesos and recieved no complaints. total spent in todays exchange rate $27.87 for hotels and girl, and $4.00 for the bottle of agua at ab. brings me to 31.87 so far.

i walked the alley for a bit again and was hit up by one of the shoe shine guys for a quarter. i don't just give money away so i told him "no senor, no gracias" and he started yelling at me calling me cheap, "cheap cheap you cheap bastardo" lol. i actually thought this was kinda funny but he was dead serious. you can call me frugal, and you can call me thrifty, but don't call me cheap as all you'll get from me is a stern look. he was trying to get me to get into a fight i guess but i'm too smart for that shit. not finding anything that tickled my fancy in the alley again i headed up to la revo and el arco. i got hungry and ordered some dominos. paid $5.00 for some dominos chicken kickers but they don't have ranch sauce which made the kickers suck ass. i also paid 15 pesos for a bottle of water. so i spent another $6.16 bringing my total to 34.03 for the day. i really need to avoid using dollars in mexico if i can help it. i over paid for my chicken kickers by about 1 dollar at a 13.00 x 1 exchange rate. still i'm at less than 50 bucks for the day which is great. walking la revo the hustle was a lot less than it used to be. only a few shop keepers really struggled to try and steer my into their store. it's amazing how a little spanish (gracias, pero no) or (lo siento, no interesado) can deter even the pushiest shop keeper and barker. i decided that it was getting time for me to leave but i really wanted to check out the chicago club before i left so i went back to the zona and walked into chicago. at 530pm on a monday there was only 6 chicas in the whole joint and no customers. the chicas weren't anything to really look at either so i headed to the restroom took a leake and walked out without even buying a drink. i like the setup of the chicago club tho and i will return when im able to spend more time in the zona in the evening hours.

i took a taxi libre to la linea and gave him a 5 spot and a 5peso coin for a tip. i was in and out of tijuana in 6 hours and spent around 40 bucks. crossing the border took a little longer than usual this time. about 15 minutes or so. when i approached the border patrol officer this time she swiped my passport and this time i was actually asked (for the first time mind you after 4 trips to tijuana) what are you doing in mexico. i felt like saying fucking chicks hotter than you but i'm not stupid lol...i pointed to my new plastic tooth and said getting some dental work done...she said drive safe and waved me through.

all in all i feel like i'm gaining some proficiency in traveling to tijuana but i still have some permeating questions in my mind i'd like to ask but i'll do that in another post. right now i'm going to see about staying one more night here in chula vista and perhaps visiting the zona again. i'm real peeved right now though because the company i work for shorted me 19 hours on my paycheck which i've had to get rectified. luckily i had 500 bucks sitting in my savings account for emergencies.

summary of expenses in mexico:
hotel room in zona:4.65
parradita dasha:23.27
taxi cab to la linea:5.38
food and beverage:10.16
tips to bar girls: 2.00
total spent in all: 45.46

not bad for a new guy eh? like others have said around here going to tj does not have to be an expensive ordeal. i wish i had more money to spend but money has been tight lately with the recession and i'm trying my best to save money otherwise i'd be buying myself 10 paraditas (if i could find enough that looked good enough to fuck) or 10 bar girls a night. lol. stay safe out there guys.

Yeah I remember dial up modems. I used them back in the late 90's. lol

The dot org version of w s g has archives going back at least that long and before that there were newsgroups on usenet (alt.sex.prostitution.tijuana). If I remember correctly ISG and w s g were one and the same way back in the day until Jackson started this site.

The oldest Brokton O'Toole TJ FAQ was in 1997 it is an interesting read at (world sex guide dot org/tijuana_faq.html). Some things like the $5 taxi ride from the border to the zona haven't changed. Walking to the zona can be dangerous. Chica prices at AB were 40-50 back then. A room was $10. Drinks at AB were $1.50.

When you read the reports from the 1990s you can can see many of the same types of issues popping up --- waves of dirty cops, choking muggings, getting ripped off by girls, knocks coming at 20 minutes, taxi drivers wanting to take you to other places, etc.

I've been lurking since 2000 and these boards have provided a lot of info for my travels into Mexico and then around the world. Because the reports helped me so much, I try and give back when I can.

One of my friends knows the floor manager there so he was hooking us up with free dinners and was getting us VIP treatment at some of the clubs in other hotels. Most of the Hooter girls at the casino are University girls. He would get them to take pictures with us. I tried fondling some College girl butt. lol

Read http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?t=2995 and get the map.

Next read some of the threads on TJ.

CG figure $50 USD and up.

Prices are on a sliding scale. YMMVBrother, I had to say thank you. This is a great help!

Maybe you can try a TLN when you can stay longer in Oct. after you get tired of roaming the zona or want a change of pace. Man , that jet lag has got have an effect the first day (your body is ahead 3-4 hour difference).

Good report, DT monger. There is nothing wrong with low rolling. I do it all the time, too.

300 pesos for the girl was fair, though you should be careful and set the price before going in next time. Dasha sounds nice but not some girls can be trouble.

Is the Days Inn near a trolley stop? I have a friend who wants to low ball and he needs a good room on the trolley line.

Brockton uses and gives credit to Efjayel as the creator of the map.

You have to admit, that the map has helped many mongers and took some time to create.
Frankly I found it cluttered, preferring Brockton's narrative. I have followed Dermdoc's lead and put FJL on "ignore", problem solved.

If he does not like the trolley he could easily taxi to the border but I do not know how much it would be for the ride ( maybe $30). Still better/cheaper than driving that long fucked up way.I just found out the Taxi from San airport to the border is wow $60 one way. I will stay with the trolley.

There are several Days Inn, Motel Six types of hotels on various of the trolley stops. If you walk past the trolleys & Jack-In-The-Box in San Ysidro, and stay to the right there is a Days Inn (if not same type), just about a block. I have only stayed there for my first trip, and I think it was about $69.00 for the night. The good part is you don't have to get on the trolley to get to it, the bad news is you have to go through immigration to get back at night. If you walk out of that hotel, and turn right, about a half a block on the right is a B of A Versatel.

I would say that you may want to look into staying on the Mexico side. There are several Ave. Revo hotels are quiet, clean, AC, TV's, and less than $30.00 (350 pesos) for the night, which are very similar to Days Inn type. These are not dumps. They are currently running specials since tourism is down. The benefit is not having to go to la linea, and it is a $ 3.00 cab ride from the Zona. Most often I walk, and it is about 15 minutes. If you stay on the Mexico side you can also go back for a nap, shower, whatever with no hassle. Not only do you save time, but you don't have to pay the $5.00 each way for a cab from/to the border & zona.

If you walk from the border after crossing the bridge, and walking down the steps you will be on a walking street (1st Street? ) towards the Arch. After crossing the first street (with light) on your right side will be "Taco Bell". You can also get there by walking west on Ave. Revo, turning right at the Arch (away from Hotel Nelson), and it is about two blocks down on the left side. It is one of my fav's. Three tacos for a dollar. I've eaten there many times, with others, and no one has gotten sick. Last trip three of us had three tacos each, each other guy had a beer, and I had a margarita, the total was $9.00. One of the best deals for eating I have found. I also eat a hot dog from the street vendors about midnight, and have never gotten sick from either of the two near the corner, or Hong Kong.

My next run-for-the-border will be Sep. 25-27, unless I am talked into it before then.

I would be interested in trying any of someone elses recommendations, especially food, whether street or restaurants.

I've stayed at the good nite inn/chula vista several times. It is your basic motel running around $40 a night *with an expedia package. Sometimes they charge a little more on weekends. However it is right next to the e street trolley station and across the street from a nature reserve. The trip to the border will take you around 15/20 minutes once the trolley comes.

My favorite restaurant is right next door "El Torito". I'm an east coast guy. We don't get affordable mexican food like that. There are many other restaurants in the area as well.

Motel 6 in the same area seems to have better prices if you dont buy a package through a travel website. However the distance to the trolley is just a little bit further by a few blocks but not many.

I would like to get back down there in october but I dont want to cry wolf just yet. I sort of have interest in going on a tour of TJ mexicali then juarez and back.

I started in TJ but since then I've been all over south america. I know it will be a different experience but I am interested in the border town scene. That is all america has in its proximity.

You guys that complain about TJ have no idea what misery is until you live on the east coast.

God bless mexico!

I agree that is why I am considering visiting the border towns. In these times negotiations must be in our favor. Maybe I am wrong.

I could go to medellin colombia or the dominican republic with the same money but I've done that to death.

What I like about visiting TJ is that its an all inclusive...good food in SD shopping SW's etc. The service that you get it questionable at times but I remember leaving very happy to get anything for $20.

At this point I could just eat pussy and whack off... and for $20 bucks I'd do it all over again.

I didn't know spanish when I was last in TJ nor did I have the international experience that I now have. I wonder if it will make a difference.

* By the way I've stayed at the "travel lodge" in san ysidro. I did not find it sketchy like someone before previously mentioned. My only complaint was that it took longer to cross the border than arriving by trolley from chula vista.

The trolley lets you off right in front of the border crossing but you have to walk much further to get to the entrance from TL. If you want to hang out late at night in TJ then Id say go for it. It helped in that respect but thats all.

If and when I go I will stay in TJ and visit SD to eat .

Does Nelson allow to take girls with you to the room?

Does Nelson allow to take girls with you to the room?I get by with 1 chica during day and 1 TLN. Was told once by the manager that it was a "family hotel". He never told me no and I never tried to bring a string of girls in during the "family hours". It was just the old guy suit manager(once) who said anything and nobody else. In his defense I was drunk at the time he said something so maybe that is what he meant. He did say the room rate was for two people so TLN is no problem.

To me, it is not worth walking back and forth with SG for 20 min. so I do rent the other rooms. Walking at chica pace it is a 15-20 min round trip and the extra they want is more than a room. For TLN it is a great location.

I never worried about it in the past because they could not know when I crossed but now with the passports they will know. One go thing it is good for up to 180 days of completing trip so you can get it prior to your trip.

I guess if I was in Tijuana I could just cross back over every second or third day and reset the clock.

What Hotel on Ave Revo do you like to use? Not a bad rate at all.

There are several up and down Revu, but the "biggest" three would be Nelson, Espana and Caesar.

Nelson has a great location, if you can avoid the rateros it's an easy walk to ZN. BUT, it is a dump. The bar on the ground floor is a good, dark watering hole and a good place to chill. The outside restaurant isn't bad. The rooms are extremely old, the floors creak, the elevator is probably OK but feels kinda dicey. They used to demand 50/night, and more on the weekends. I think they dropped their prices a bit, but I haven't stayed there in quite a while.

Espana and Caesar are almost across the street from each other. I think the map shows them. I can't recall, but they're between 4th and 5th?? The places are similar. I think the E is a bit cheaper. 300p per night, weekdays, 350p? on weekends, 100p key deposit. They have A/C, smallish beds, clean. If I check in with a girl they want her first name, no more. I've never tried bringing one in unregistered. The lady at the desk has a bit of an attitude.

Caesar is about the same as Espana. I think they're a few pesos more. I think they were both remodeled at about the same time. At one time you could get a cheaper room with just a fan, but I think all the rooms have AC now.

You used to have to ask for a room at the back (especially in Espana) if you intended to sleep before 3:00am, but those days are long gone. :(

I hope to spend more time there when I'm not getting dental work done. 3 visits for 1 crown seems a bit much but apparently this is a good thing as it shows they're working extensively on my smile.

I would like to try a todo la noche but not with a paradita, I would love a bar girl like isabella mi favorita but she says she doesn't do TLN's. I may go with an escort service if I decide to go that route.

I believe this is my 25th post. Hopefully I'll gain senior status now but if not I'm willing to earn my wings with more trip reports. I didn't go back to the zona but went to las vegas again. Stayed at Imperial Palace center strip for 27 bucks and all in all after winnings the trip only cost me 1 dollar to take.

Anyway instead of imparting wisdom on this post I'd like to ask some questions.

#1. Understanding Casa De Cambios.

Obviously ATM's offer the best exchange rates and it's wise to use an ATM to get pesos. But what if I've gotten too many pesos leftover after a trip and I'm not coming back to the zona anytime soon. How do I ensure I get the best exchange rate?

Obviously Compra is Buy. But does this mean that YOU buy THEIR pesos for 12.58 or do THEY buy YOUR pesos for 12.58

Venta is sell. But do they SELL pesos to you at 12.78 or do you sell your pesos to them at 12.78?

Common sense would probably say that the lower price is the one they pay you am I right?

#2. Hotels in Tijuana.

I stayed at the Fiesta Inn at the zona Rio on my second trip to tijuana and I enjoyed the hotel it was clean, comfortable, safe, had free internet access, and was a great place to stay. Obviously some of the hotels on la revo appear to be frightening dives. I saw the hotel nelson I believe was offering 350 pesos a night. You could get a room at the alaska with the other ratero's for 200 pesos a night. Where do you guys like to stay and WHY do you like staying there?

I'd like something close (within walking distance) to the zona, safe, CLEAN, with at least some creature comforts (Air Conditioning, Hot and Cold water, My own toilet in the room) and I guess hotel nelson might be able to fit this bill.

And #3. Food and Drinks and entertainment on la revo.

What are some of the good places to eat and drink on la revo. Which bars have the most college hotties? I know Las Pulgas is a good place to meet mexican chicas. But what about white girls?

Well. Hopefully I can continue to contribute more to the board when I take my next trip next week. Till then. Everyone stay safe out there.

Daytona

In line with Days Inn price structure on TJ side, Hotel Tucon for $50 or 650 and Hotel Pubelo Amaigo Special $69 (Su-Th).

Hotel Pubelo Amigo is a short walk from the border from the USA return side. Luxor and Ley store are in the Plaza Pubelo Amigo. At least Four Star in rating.

Hotel Ticuan - Four Star Self-Rated
$ 50 USD or 650 pesos for a room. It is located eight blocks south of the "Tijuana Arch." Turn right into Calle 8va #8 and it is opposite the police station.
Has smoking and non-smoking rooms. Well decorated and the rooms are spacious.

Currently construction expansion on the NW side of the building. The street side make be noisy from all the arrest - family and friends pleading the case for release in public.

It all refers to the USD. You are either selling your USD or you are buying USD. When you sell your USD to get Mxn the ratio is smaller. When you turn in your pesos (buy) to get USD ,you get the larger ratio. When converting back to USD from MXN you lose a small percent of money.

Example : Buy- 12.78 Sell- 12.58

You take 100 USD and convert (sell) to MXN you get 1258 pesos MXN

Now you take 1258 MXN and convert (buy) USD you get back 98.44 USD for a total lose of $1.56 USD per $100 USD

Regardless of this, since your buying power is greater with pesos, it is still better to get and use pesos. Again this goes past just the basic math. Paying for a taxi with 50 pesos instead of $5 USD one time almost makes up the difference right there. After all is said and done, you will be ahead by using MXN.

Sgt Perv

Wait, so they check your passport now when entering Mexico and keep track of your length of stay?If and when they scan your passport the date and time is recorded. The older passport stamping had the date stamped. So right now they do not check as you enter Mexico , so it does not matter unless you get caught out of the border area. When Mexico gets their act together, if ever, they (Mexico) will check passport prior to entry and record. If you fly in like Cancun or Mexico City or want to go to Ensenada you will have to have one now.

A FMT is required past 72 hours. The distance of the "border zone" varies and are generally designated at highway inspection points. You do not need a FMT in Ensenada, Mexico, which is some 70 miles from the US border.

For whatever it is worth, in the two years that I have lived here, I have never been asked for my FMT Visa nor have I been required to show my Mexican vehicle registration in the six or seven times that I have been pulled over for traffic violations.

The big banks get the best rates and so money you get in an ATM will have a great exchange rate... BUT you need to watch for the fees. Some banks will charge you a fee for not using their machines (even though they have no machines in Mexico!) and a foreign transaction fee up to $3%. Then the Mexican bank whose ATM you're using may also charge a fee. All these fees together add up and can sometimes be worse than if you used a casa de cambio.

For example: I used the ATM at the Pueblo Amigo to get 2500 pesos. $195 or so came out of my bank account for the withdrawal (including 7 or 8 pesos from the bank of the ATM), my bank charged me $1.95 as a "international transaction fee", and $5 for not using a BofA ATM. So all the sudden the good rate isn't so good. So if you have to get money from an ATM, make sure you get a lot to offset those fees.

Some banks don't charge fees and/or will reimburse you for them. Bank of America will not charge you a fee if you use the Santender ATMs in Mexico. The trouble is they aren't nearly as convenient as HSBC or other banks in TJ.

Casa de Cambio: You are buying and selling dollars which is what the price is 1USD=12.78. So you're selling your dollars when you enter, and buying them when you leave. I'll usually try and spend only what I think I'll need but last time I had about 2200 pesos on me. I thought there were more casas de cambio at the linea but didn't want to backtrack. So I ended up using the casa de cambio that is next to the McDonalds at the trolley station. The rate wasn't terrible but it wasn't interbank either. The worst case is when I find foreign currency after I've gotten home (hidden so well from rateros I couldn't even find it!) and am far from a casa de cambio and have to change money at my bank (BofA, Wells Fargo). They'll buy your pesos but at a terrible rate (around 10:1) but when you need the USD you'll bend over and take it.

I almost always stay at the Pueblo Amigo. It is a short walk from the border and usually I will have a flight to catch early in the morning so that's important. It is an decent hotel -- rooms like I remember the IP in Vegas had (used to be a Holiday Inn or something back in the day) with a large atrium inside but might be more $ than you're wanting to spend. Many of the rates include a breakfast buffet. There's a small casino inside for those Mexican slot-video poker-like machines with an ATM that will give you dollars or pesos. It is in a development with nice restaurants, a larger Caliente casino, the Luxor massage parlor and a strip club or two. You can bet on sports and dog/horse races from your room and the TV has mostly the gaming channels. It is chica friendly. It is a $5 taxi ride to Adelita.

#1. Understanding Casa De Cambios.

Obviously Compra is Buy. But does this mean that YOU buy THEIR pesos for 12.58 or do THEY buy YOUR pesos for 12.58

Venta is sell. But do they SELL pesos to you at 12.78 or do you sell your pesos to them at 12.78?

The terms ALWAYS refer to dollars.

Compra = We BUY your dollars at xx.xx pesos per dollar.

Venta = We SELL dollars to you for xx.xxx pesos per dollar.

So, the Venta rate is always higher than the Compra rate. That's where the profit is.

Just [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) away all your money so that you only have enough for cab fare to the border! :) Then you won't have to worry about exchanging pesos for dollars. :D

Mostly true. While FS is hard to find in Vegas, there are lots of places where you can get HJ/BJ/BBJ for fee. Yeah, they're illegal, but the cops seem to be hitting the streets rather than the parlors where you can find lots of P4P. I was in LV in July and it was reasonable, though the selection and hottie factor is far better in Tijuana, IMO. Action in Tijuana is cheaper, too, though getting mugged might change the ROI factor.

I dunno. All in all, I'd rather play in Tijuana. I don't think I make a good mark anyway, since I try to be as unobtrusive as possible. I always hit Tijuana in jeans and a t-shirt or polo, so I don't exactly stand out from the crowd. Money stays in an interior pouch so even if my wallet disappears, I'm only out $30 or so. I just don't want the ignominy of getting mugged in the red-light district. In my line of work, that would be suicide. (and, no--I'm not saying).

Vegas has a plethora of p4p opportunities but none within the city limits.

Thats one city you can do on the cheapy cheap with the proper planning.

Aah required but not enforced. Now I understand. But they can be enforced. If you do not have a Mexican vehicle permit($20.00 and a valid credit card), they can impound your car without cause. If you get into an accident here and do not have Mexican auto insurance($300.00+/full coverage/year), you will go to jail until you post bond. If you do not have a FMT($20.00), they can also theoretically imprison you.

In all likelihood, you will not encounter any of these outcomes unless you get into trouble or break the law.

However, if an individual is planning on driving from TJ to Cabo, one would have to be stupid not to purchase the required Mexican documents beforehand. You do not want to be negotiating your way out of a Mexican jail.

I would be interested in trying any of someone elses recommendations, especially food, whether street or restaurants. My favorite street food is found at the southeast corner of Coahuila and Avendia Nino Heros. From the Adelita Bar, walk out the front door, turn left, walk past the front door of the Hong Kong Club, and then to the end of the block.

In my humble opinion, the tacos from that stand contain a larger portion of meat that is better seasoned than the competing places. I also prefer the salsas and sauces at that location.

Next to the taco stand is a stand that sells seafood snacks. My favorite is the oyster cocktail in a cup, "con todo." You probably won't be able to find this in the "non R months." But the rest of the year it's available and it's delicious. Ask for "crackas" on the side and you'll get saltines -- which I prefer to the tortilla chips.

I've stayed at the Good Nite Inn several times. It is your basic motel running around $40 a night with an expedia package. Motel 6 in the same area seems to have better prices if you don't buy a package through a travel website. However the distance to the trolley is just a little bit farther by a few blocks but not many.Another hotel that's close to the trolley station is the Best Western South Bay. This is an older, exterior corridor property in the classic motel style. But it's very well maintained and the staff keeps the place spotless. The king rooms overlooking the pool are the nicest, with updated linens and furnishings that include a small refrigerator and a microwave. The bathrooms are laid out in the old style, with the tub/shower and toilet in a small room by themselves and the sink and (rather large) vanity in a separate area. They claim to have wi-fi, but I haven't stayed there since they installed it, so I can't personally vouch for how well it works.

In addition to being very close to the trolley stop, the Best Western South Bay is just steps from Aunt Emma's Pancake House, a Taco Bell and a Denny's that's open 24 hours a day. If you are the thrifty sort that likes to prepare at least some of your own meals a decent supermarket is also within walking distance. And there is a modest free breakfast included in the room rate.

As for rates, I've had good luck booking via Best Western's web site, and choosing the "best rate" or "internet rate" or whatever is cheapest.

Hey everyone,

I'm heading to TJ next week and I was thinking about staying at a hotel in TJ vs. heading back to SD at the end of the night. I was on the Hong Kong website (which is great by the way....Adelita's needs to do the same!) and I saw a link to "hotel cascadas". I clicked the link and it turns out that "hotel cascadas" is the place you bring your favorite chica to bang....right upstairs from Hong Kong! It says that rooms are only $30 a night which is a great prices - I'm just not sure if the place is safe or a place that I would want to sleep. The pictures make the rooms look a lot nicer than I remember from past trips - although I was drunk and balls-deep in pu&$y!

Anyhow, my question is - has anyone stayed the night there? Is it safe? Am I crazy for considering this?

Thanks!

P.S. I'm going to post this in the Hong Kong forum too - sorry for the double post, just not sure which one is more appropriate.

The taxi out, getting in the HK door, waiters, bartenders, chica room, Chica, food at the place next to Adelitas and the taxi back were too much hassle. All the prices are quoted in dollars and the conversations are all over the place. The taxi did not even have pesos to give me change back in pesos. It is not worth it for me.

First they are going naturally quote you in USD. You have to tell or ask them in Pesos. The Taxis are famous for not having change no matter what you use (read scam). I have poor Spanish skills so that is not a big factor. Bars and hotel use 12-1 conversion but that does not matter because it is a set price and still cheaper. The biggest savings is with the chicas themselves. Should have taken a cheat sheet for hassle free reference.

Don't worry, I had problems keeping the price down when I converted to pesos.

The first girl I was with wanted drink, $10US and then for FS basically standing up in the back, $60. I should have said $50 the place was dead. I had to buy extra time because I hadn't come yet, total - $100US

I offered the next girl straight up 900 pesos for hour FS remote location. At the time 900 pesos was about $90. I ended up spending about 1100 pesos or about $130

So it didn't quite work as planned but being more diligent, I know I can make a $100-150 run and not go over that using Pesos only.

With anybody other than Mexicans they are use to dealing in dollars and believe the exchange is 10-1 though I'm sure there some smart chicas out there...

I usually go to the Nuevo Laredo Boystown on the TX border where many places will still use the unofficial 10:1 for things like drinks ($3/30 pesos), rooms ($20/200 pesos), taxis ($10/100 pesos). Bar girls would know 10:1 wasn't the correct rate and would want at least 12:1. The door girls (like the street girls in TJ) would still do 10:1. For a while in NLBT though 10:1 was the rule even with the club girls but as the exchange rate got to 13:1 and stayed in the ballpark the girls wised up.

So when I got to TJ the week before immediately went to a Casa de Cambio and got change. The taxi driver said $5 to Adelita. I said 50 pesos, he said 70 pesos. At the bars the $3.5 drinks were not 35 pesos but 42?. They had signs up with 12:1. The girls that wanted $60 would want 800 pesos (although I did get one girl for 700 but she would probably take $50). A room at Cascada or Hotel Coahuila was $12 or 150 pesos. Also, meseros would often have to go look for change for my pesos. I don't play with girls in the alley, but perhaps they will still do 10:1.

For most mongers that hit the places the prey on the gringo like AB and HK there's not a lot of savings by paying in pesos. The pricing in USD always stays the same at AB and HK and it is the peso price that floats. If you go with alley girls or to more locals-oriented bars, pesos will be better at all times.

The important thing is to watch the exchange rate and if it gets above 14, get pesos, otherwise the dollar will work. If the exchange rate stays above 14 then the bars (and bar girls) will adjust their prices. For short trip to AB it might not be worth it to go to a casa de cambio (or hit a Mexican ATM and pay fees) to save a few dollars. If you're there for a few days it will add up.

Hi Vitrea,

They are intentionally doing this to discourage you. The dollar made a recent run here of five percent in the last five days(13.44/IXE banco). Right now, everything you buy in Mexico is at about a 33 percent discount, relative to the dollar.

Mexicans are not stupid.

They all have pesos in their possession. They just know that they are worth far less than dollars. Do you honestly think that the Mexican National that lives in TJ, who gets paid wages in pesos, goes to the casa de cambio to exchange them for dollars before he goes to Adelitas? I agree it's not worth it to fight over a $5.00 taxi ride but for a $60/$600 pesos session you are talking about a $200 pesos difference.

It takes a bit of practice, but you will save money if you use pesos.

The bars price in dollars (because gringos are fucking lazy) and they have their own conversion rate. But they don't change the rate daily, and it's usually less than what the casas de cambios pay. So, always pay them in pesos. You WILL get your change in pesos, and you WILL save a little bit of money. Same for the hotel. It won't be a lot of money, but it's your money and every little bit helps.

When talking to the chicas, forget the rates. Use a mental equivalent of 10:1. Tell them something like "No tengo dolares. Tengo pesos solamente." They'll understand. Start with 500 pesos and work up (A LITTLE) from there. 600 is OK as a top end figure. If they try the dollar conversion crap, move on. When the dollar was 10:1 you paid 600 pesos. If the dollar is 13:1 you STILL pay 600 pesos. Their expenses are almost all paid in pesos. It's immaterial what the dollar is in relation to the peso. Same for the Euro, Pound, Baht, whatever. Start at 500 because it's a buyer's market right now.

If a Mexican comes to the US, they pay in dollars, not pesos. If an American goes to Mexico, they should expect to pay in pesos.

I believe that is the best sort of information we can share.

With the possible exception of doing business with the escort services where the prices are published, we mongers (like all consumers) are at a disadvantage when prices are in the dark because we do not know how well the provider will perform.

Some TJ Mexicans also use dollars in the bar and other locations. TJ is a cross-over when it come to currency but the good rate may be in dollars or pesos depending on the situation. Pesos is the safe bet if one can manage the Mexican coins.

It seems to me vitrea has a point. If you are going to get qouted in dollars then pesos would be a hassle. More than likely they will try to make up for any difference in currency fluctuations. Alot of times dollars are preferred because people save them until the exchange rates gets better. It would make sense to do this in mexico. Maybe not so in other countries.

If the SW prices are set in stone at 200 pesos then sure a better exchange rate would save money. However she would have to be a pretty dumb hooker not to know what US/Peso exchange rates are.

I was recently in argentina where the exchange rate was above 3 to 1...an excellent conversion. The local establishments raised there prices and so went the perks of above 3 to 1. Catching the wave at the right moment would be key. Maybe people in TJ are getting used to the new rates and are adjusting accordingly.

OK. One more time.

You DO NOT let them quote you in dollars. Period. You make them quote pesos and you pay in pesos. The bars have a fixed exchange rate, the girls do not. The max price for an arriba at a bar is currently 600 pesos. When the dollar was 10:1, paying $60 was easier. But the price is STILL 600 pesos.

If the girl wants to figure the exchange rates in her head, that's her problem. YOU pay in pesos and get the benefit. If you pay 800 pesos now, when the dollar drops back to 10:1, do you think the girl will then start accepting 600 pesos again? I don't think so. Whether or not the dollar is strong or weak is not her problem. Your problem is to take advantage of the current situation (the favorable exchange rate and the soft market). Negotiate in pesos and pay in pesos.

Individual language & cultural skills and skin factor is the next big variable for a 200 pesos benchmark. This is a very fluid quote of 200 pesos in TJ. Upgrade cost is a whole different matter and depends on many parameters.

TJ and BAs are not the same place or in language style and culture.
Currency was not a true cross-over to dollar as in TJ. In TJ local transport and TJ cultural agencies accept dollars for fare and entrance fee.

BAs taxis accept dollars but not at a fair exchange rate in some cases. Better to have local currency and use the meter.

i recently spent less than 24 hours in tijuana so what i experienced may simply be a snapshot and not representative on how it really is, day in day out.

---------------------------------------------------------

getting there:

it's easy, walk across the border or take a shuttle from the parking lots on the us side of the border.

money matters:

30usd = approx 400p. always negotiate/pay in pesos to take advantage of this exchange rate!

hotels:

i recently stayed at one of the streetgirl hotels and it was a bad mistake. the roaches, used condoms on the floor, dirty tissue, broken toilet, used needles are one thing, but when i discovered bed bugs, that was the last straw.

costs are about 200-250p for most flea bags in the callejon. the nice thing is, it's close to the sg action and they don't charge a guest fee unless you're at the cascades, and mini also charges if you're not friends with anyone at front desk.

i don't recommend the sg hotels in the alley. i do recommend leyva. it's relatively clean, safe and should cost about 230p w/o tv or parking.

eats:

i recommend the taco trunk at the northeast corner of coahuilla and constitucion and also a small hole in the wall on ninos heroes between coahuila and callejon coahuilla. the food is cheap and amazing. i recommend breakfast at the eatery on ninos heroes.

safety:

over the years, i've had about 4 mugging attempts and luckily managed to get out of all of them. this occured at night mainly up on ninos heroes and articulo 123. the time of year that the streets are the most dangerous are around x-mas when it's cold and many of the chicas leave the zona to go home. at this time, there is less influx on money so corrupt cops and muggers are out in full force.

fast foward to nowadays, summer of 2009. with all the bad publicity mexico has endured (drug wars, swine flu, passport to re-enter the us), it's no surprise that the influx of cash has diminished significantly throughout tijuana. the once famous revolucion is now pretty deserted. rateros (thieves) are looking for another source of income and are heading to the zona for some action, and with the police station that was situated at the mouth of the alley now closed, it's open season on unsuspecting visitors!

as i walked the streets of la zona, i had countless streetgirls that i had know for years, suddenly warn me about the real threat of being choked out or knifed in high traffic areas of the zona. they advised me to have my back to the wall, and to take off my cheap plastic watch, stating that they've seen multiple instances of choke outs and guys being held up at knife point.

theses areas include:

revolucion: north of articulo123

consitucion: between coahuila and articulo 123

articulo123: between revolucion and av. e

ninos heroes: articulo 123 to points north.

and of course all the well know places like on coahuila, west of ninos heroes, the alley behind tropical, etc.

the recent spike in violence was also mentioned to me by a local mexical local friend of mine that visits the zona multiple times every week. in addition, early that evening i saw an older caucasian male was making a mugging report to the police, stating that he got choked out on constitucion! a week prior to my visit to tijuana, supposedly at least 3 guys got choked out on constitucion between coahuila and articulo123, and one guy even in callejon coahuila! despite all this, i saw many us based mongers walking around, carefree and nothing happened to them, so.

another thing. many of the sgs are afraid to take taxi libres these days. they tell me horror stories of [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) and robbery by desperate taxi drivers and advise me never to sit in the front seat. i walked in from the border crossing and took a taxi libre the next morning without incident.

talent in tijuana:

the numbers are down everywhere but there is definately talent out and about. i saw perhaps the best looking girl i've ever seen in tropical while i was there. she seemed very pro, but she was a solid 8-9. blond hair, gorgeous face and what looked like a great body.

in hk there were at least 3-4 8s, and 1-2 9s!

in the alley, paola is back, so are the sisters at edwardo. but the best talent was in front of mini hotel. there is a blue eyed brunette with wavy hair there that looks like a av star named nikki dial, but younger and hotter! some other spinner rep001tered here and there.

gfe:

literally. got into the zona early evening and i cheated and called in an ex-puta that used to like me and give me freebies. she has long stopped working in the zona and quickly agreed to meet me. big eyed brunette with long hair, early 20s. long bbbj, with long cg/rcg to cp, then repeat with more positions. about 3 hours of non-stop sex. she wanted a couple more rounds, but i was drained and also had to go meet a friend for some drinks.

gfe2:

the next morning, walked along the alley looking for some of my favoritas. none were present, so i took the next best thing, the competition! found this avg-cute 18yo big-eyed dark skinned 5' spinner with nice b-cups. she informed me that xxxxx wasn't there today and that she'd like to give it a shot. i told her i got gf sex from my regular and expected nothing less. she agreed on 250p room included and really made an effort to please in la cama. bbbj avg to poor technique and light-moderate dfk. her only request was that i pull out. we fucked in many positions and at the end she was vigorously riding in cg, when i told her i was going to cum. she didn't seem to mind, but i pulled out anyways. later, she popped it back in to milk the last orgasmic contractions out of me. we both washed up in the sink afterwards.

conclusion:

la zona in tijuana is more dangerous now, no doubt. gfe is possible with some spanish, and the food is great. if you ever find yourself in sd, pop on down, just be more careful than normal and don't forget to bring your passport and use good street sense!

I'm headed over soon and just wondered if anyone had any recommendations on decent hotels to stay at in the Zona Norte? I don't need anything spectacular. Is there anything clean and safe for $20-$25 a night (or cheaper if you use Pesos)?

Speaking of Pesos, what are the best places to exchange US Dollars for Pesos? I'm going to take the board's advice and try Pesos to see how much I save over a week's time. Any suggestions on places to do this?

Thanks!

There is an ultimate TJ guide where you will find most of the information you need.

From my limited hotel experience in TJ $20/25 will buy you a room to hang out in..drink beer take a dump have a seat etc. but you will not want to sleep there. There might be an exception but in that price range I doubt it.

IMHO be ready to spend between $40/50 a night for budget lodgings . Bring ear plugs and if you have an ipod try to download some mp3 nature sounds. This will make you more flexible when choosing. It works like a charm for me. If you don't have an ipod try a towel over the TV w/ white noise.

Take an hour and go through the forum. The TJ forum is well organized.

I'm sometimes surprised by the conflicting advice in the boards about taxis. I've ridden pretty much everywhere in Mexico for years and years in the front seat. The old adage was if you ride in the back US-style, you're announcing to the world you're a easy mark gringo. You're less likely to have trouble riding up front with the driver like the locals do (except women will mostly ride in the back unless they are the novia of the driver). You'd have to be insane not to check the back seat before getting into a taxi. If a ratero jumps in while you're at a light it would seem that 9.9 times out of 10 that means the driver is complicit in the heist. If that's the case, you're pretty screwed since he'd probably let someone jump you at a light or stop sign if you were sitting in the back. Maybe it is just me, but in my trips from the border or Pueblo Amigo to the Zona the taxis don't spend a lot of times waiting at lights, like many places in Mexico the conductores seem to consider stop signs more a suggestion than something they have to do.

I think the key takeaway here is you have to be vigilant pretty much from the time enter park your car in San Ysidro until you're back safely at your car. Don't think for a minute bad things only happen in the zona.

I always sit in the front as well. Better view, plus I like to chat with the driver. The logic is, if you sit in the front, the driver is in reaching distance to the passenger's vital organs with a knofe or gun. If you're in the back seat, you have his back. I think the taxi thing is the drivers preying on the weak, namely women, and only isolated cases, but with the downturn in their economy the number of incidents may increase.

As far as the 4 attempts, I would always walk in the danger zones late at night since I'm more into streetgirls. The area I got the most mugging attempts were up ninos heroes and articulo123 past midnight, and I was always alone. Two of the times, the perpetrator were ladyboys. Best advice, walk near the street or in the street. If you notice someone tailing you, immediately cross the street, and look back. Try to have an exit strategy in case something goes down. E. G. Know where you plan to run to if someone armed pulls up in a car, etc. Keeping on hand by your chin with forearm along your chest could block a chock hold. I pretend to play with my goattee to play that one off.

As I was stymied by the traffic yesterday, I though I'd take an early Sunday trip South. Traffic great, left OC about 09-30 and was walking through the turnstiles in 1hr 41 mins. A cab to HK then walked across to La Perla for brunch. In future, I must remember to ask the taxi if he has AC, it was damn hot, even with the windows down.
A couple of tacos con cervezas and I was across the street in HK......ghost town. It was 11-30 and the place had maybe 10 mongers there, watching maybe a dozen indifferent looking chicas. After one beer I went into the alley, plenty of talent there but I was the only gringo! So I put my back against the wall, let my eyes get accustomed to the glare... and went back into HK.
I couldn't bring myself to choose from the remnants there, so I went to Adeiltas. On the way, I ducked into Chavelas, dead.
In Adelitas I grabbed a beer and a stool. The only hottie in there was already in negotiations with another monger so I settled in to wait. After rejecting a few hungry looking waifs I was approached by "Barbara". A gordita with a winning smile, good sense of humour and a great price. $40, 1 hr, all positions, BBBJCIM, anal, etc etc. Once in the room, the expected upsell wasn't long in coming so we settled on $50. Seeing as the room was for 30 mins, she was also safe from having to make good on the 1 hr, but it didn't matter, she gave a great BBBJ. I wanted to put her through her paces so I refrained from nourishing her further and went at her, RCG, CG, finished mish, a decent session.
For those of you who feel pretty relaxed reclining back on the pillow on the bed with the towel under you, I saw her wipe her cooze off on the pillow and throw it on the bed. Scents of KY and rubber anyone?
I was at the border in 12 mins and had my first setback in several years of mongering, the line was all the way out of the building and out past the cover. It moved OK but remember this was 1-30 or so and it still took 35 mins to get through. Out of the $8 parking (I just prefer it)....1hr32 mins and I was in my driveway.
Sunday am is not the best time to get laid in TJ but it's better than wanking in the shower.

What is the protocol about paying for extras with SW's ? I remember they used to ask for the money up front but I never asked for more.

Usually In a brothel setting or my hotel room I put the agreed upon money on a table and say " it's yours when we finish". I usually never have a problem with this. Sometimes I let them pocket the base fare and agree to pay them for the extras AFTER they carry out their promise.

For some reason I doubt this will work in TJ. Is this correct ?

What do some of you guys do ?

For street girls, you'll pretty much tell them what you want, including whether or not they will undress fully. After settling on a price, stick to it. Do not pay up front. Tipping is at your discretion, but for service above and beyond, etc. Do not cave to upsells. It just makes it harder for everybody else.

The money on the table thing is OK, but use it as a last resort, not a first resort.

Like you said the clock is clicking and room paid, if you have the time to hear the stories of situation where the chica was not paid in the past than go for the ideal situation. Call her bluff.

Deal with Less time on the clock and her concern for being paid before the big deed. Does it effect her service ? Does one get more? What is the Chica thinking ?

$5 Tip Option:
$5 tip has more value after the deed

How is SA different from TJ in this matter?

Sound 7,

Negotiating in mexico can be a little harder than in SA . There are way more americans present in mexico and they know about gringo pricing in cancun and other well known locals. The closer you are to america the more bullshit american influence you deal with. The further south you go the further away you are from gringo mentality.

I am not saying you won't have difficulty with a chica in SA (far from it) but they tend to be more humble and clueless as to the ways of gringolandia.

Also most chicas in lets say peru el salvador or argentina are thrilled when you give them a $5/6 tip on top of a $20-30 per hr session. Its called not being spoiled. Time is usually set by the brothel or casa. SW's can be tricky in SA but you dont always need them when you have well run casas or brothels. When a man runs a brothel things go VERY well. When a woman mamasan is present expect to do a little more bargining.

Then why mexico ? I love brown indian women and I want to see TJ again after all the exploring I've done.

By the way would you know any regular bars that play salsa merengue or bachata ? I know there are bars that play ranchera music and you pay to dance with a chica. I was looking for the same thing but with salsa.

Nicely (but firmly), in Spanish if necessary, just say that you pay afterwards. I've never had a SG refuse after I said that. If push comes to shove, show her the money, put it on a table AWAY from her purse, and resume. But I've only had to resort to that a couple of times, once with a BG and once with a cute tag-team in CR.

If she gets pissy, walk. Never be afraid to bail. Tell the guy at the front that she changed the deal and ask for a refund. You'll likely not get it, but you may get credit. Worst case, you're out $5, which is better than being out $25.

One thing I do is to try to make sure the chica sees that I have money when I pay for the room. I don't flash a big roll, but I try to pay in a way where she can see that I do, indeed, have sufficient money to take care of her. I don't know if it helps or not, but it can't hurt.

Oh, and a $5 propina is plenty in TJ.

The border towns included Tijuana was created for the sole purpose to serve the gringo community. It is over 100 years that Tijuana has been doing this for gringos. The Tijuana - San Diego border was closed at night and rooms and hotels were made avialable during the prohibition. Gambling, drugs and sex workers was all part of the package.

First official sex worker package made availlable to the US army during US-Mexican war 1914, which US accepted subject to inspection. Mexicans have a long relationship with the gringoes.

Now I see few asians and few ball players running around in TJ. Global effects in play.

One would need a date or a pick-up to do salsa at Las Pulgas Night Club (Av. Revolucion and Ave. 7 to 8). Very popular bar with a cover charge depending who us playing. Dress code is in place.

The point is you need to establish you're not going to dine and dash. Whether that mean prepagado, leaving the money on the table or flashing your roll the chica doesn't want to do the deed and then you claim you don't have any money (or pay her the less than agreed upon amount). They get ripped off, they hear stories from their girlfriends.

Once that trust is established most girls will give a good performance. I've been with it must be close to a thousand girls in a dozen countries and prepay/postpay/money on the table/whatever and believe what matters most is reading the vibe from the girl and her knowing you're not going to rip her off or hurt her or try some con like agreeing on $60USD and then paying 600p. She's taking chances going arriba with you too.

I've had prepay sessions that were some of the best times I've had from hotties in AB. I've had postpay sessions where it was a lousy lay. Most of the girls in TJ will ask for the money front. If I were them I would too. I'll put the money on the counter and say it is for afterwards but if she snaps it right up I don't care. I just get to the reason I paid her in the first place and almost always I'll leave with a smile on my face.

The only time I bail out is when she wants to change the terms that were agreed upon downstairs. Rarely happens because I can sort of tell right away. The hotel give you credit to bang another chica, she gets to go back and try and scam someone else, and you have time and money for banging of another chica.

Well. I agree about establishing a good vibe. But I guess we'll just agree to disagree about the pre-payment thing. I wouldn't prepay my house painter, my clients don't pre-pay me, and so on. Once the money changes hands you lose any control you may have had, and I'm not willing to do that. I hear far more horror stories concerning pre-pays than I do good experiences.

I don't know about most girls in TJ requiring the dough up front. I don't do that many SGs, but can only recall one who asked. Maybe two BGs over the years. Not a scientific study, by any means, just my personal experience.

I do wonder. I've never stiffed a chica, so I don't know. Surely the chicas have some recourse if they guy bolts. I know in many countries the girls know one or two guys you really don't want to meet. If the chica starts yelling about getting ripped off, do the jizz-boys tackle you and tap dance on your head until the fuzz show up? Anybody have any experience?

Only once was I in the position to stiff a chica. It was a couple of years ago, getting late, and I was trolling through the alley for a possible nightcap before heading home. It was cold, and biz was slow. A "desparate" looking cutie got my attention. We settled on a price, probably $20 or $25 (this was back when it was OK to use dollars). We headed up to Cascadas. I pulled out the dough and found I didn't have enough to cover her and the room. I really did think I had more. I very sheepishly apologized, told her I didn't have enough, and was prepared to eat humble pie and leave. She looked at the remainder, probably around $15, and said no problem, that's OK. Up we went, great 30 minute session. She crossed herself with the $$ afterwards, and assured me I was her primero cliente. Down side, I didn't have a nickel left and had to walk to the border in the wee hours. I think that was the night I got rousted on the bridge, by TJ's Finest. :(

She became furious and pleding her case and few men stood around. This has been my experience, take it for what is worth. I always negotiate a price up front and pay the Chica by putting the $$ on the bed or what ever serves for a dresser. A tip in the range of ___ ? :p

Communication is tough and sometimes it comes out right. :)

Thanks for sharing

This has been my experience, take it for what is worth. I always negotiate a price up front and pay the Chica by putting the $$ on the bed or what ever serves for a dresser. I tell her I will give a tip for good service. I have very rarely been disappointed. I give the tip and say compra dulces para su nino.

This always gets an smile and a sign of appreciation.

Locals pay 100p-150p standard. One position, pants only. And 200p for multiple positions, nude. Most sgs will give you the local price if they see you down there enough. I'd say 250p max for everything, nude, BJ, positions.

Realistic Safety Advice: ;)

It is great goal to set 250 max ... it cannot be acheived with a new chica based on the current model presented in Tijuana thread. Walking a lot looking for a deal, not a good idea at least in the curent Tijuana crime climate.

Be safe and happy in Tijuana.

My first time in the Zona I went for the first girl that approached me. She wasn't even that great looking but the captain below took over and I couldn't resist.

ICE squad screening at the walk thru entrance to Tijuana today.

Seen DEA and CBP before at the same location, few times.

Have not seen ICE at this location before.

DEA and CBP not as aggressive as ICE. ICE positioned itself right in the middle of the walk and fully armed with automatic

A very aggressive posture by the ICE squad.

Hey all,

I have some airline miles that I'll be burning through in November and can't make up my mind where to go for a little fun. I'm thinking either Tijuana or Miami. So I am sort of taking a poll, as in, what would you do if you were me?

Miami sounds pretty good so far, from reading the posts it seems that plenty of SC action is available, which is kind of what I'm into. How's the escort scene? Where I live LE is extremely active so any play is very risky and very expensive. Is this the case in Miami as well? Also how's the weather in Miami in the first half of November?

Tijuana's advantage of course is that it's all legal and there's plenty to be had, but my Spanish is minimal at best and I enjoy a little conversation with the ladies. Also, many photos I've seen of the girls in Tijuana are sort of underwhelming. And while I'm not looking for bargain basement prices for this trip, still my money will go a lot further in Tijuana.

So, what are your opinions? Any suggestions for other USA Cities where the scene is even better?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and opinions.

Hola to my fellow mongers, I have another TR to share. Kick off the shoes, dim the lights, and grab some popcorn because daddy has a story to tell. I took the ~90 mile drive down to TJ on Sunday at 11:55PM, avoiding all traffic. I arrived at the $5 border parking at 1:00AM exactly, walked over, and hitched a cab to Hong Kong Club. I decided to change things up this time, Adelitas Bar chicas were getting boring and I needed a change. Inside, the place was still jumping with a good amount of mongers/chicas. I took a seat close to the back of the club and this older (than me), hoodrat-looking woman approached me. I wasn't really into her but she wouldn't get off my nuts so I put up with her. She wanted to do a threesome with me and one of her other friends who I wasn't feeling either and I declined about 1000 times. Her negotiations went from $100 to $90 to $80 and so on until she hit $50. I've had enough experience with these places to know better, no way in hell would I go for this even if she offered it to me for free.

Next up, a waiter came by and the chica decided she wanted to order a beer. I gave in to get her off my back and I paid the guy with a $20. He comes back with my change, $10. WTF? I asked him wtf was going and he played dumb. Looks like this scum bag decided to add snacks on top of the beer. Now, any other time and I'd probably walk out the club, but I wasn't going to let a dollar or two throw me off. Next up, this waiter pulls out a camera and takes a picture. The picture was me in the middle with the girl on my left and her friend on my right. It was a pretty cool picture, then I realized I would probably have to pay for that too. I firmly rejected it and insisted that I didn't want it, even though it was a digital picture. They took the camera SD card and left with it. Thinking back, I'm still not sure what that was all about. They never asked me anything, they just did it. Anyways, the girl finally left and I got to relax. I scooped out the scene for a good 30 minutes and was pleased. The hot tub show was nice, the girls dancing on the poles were nice, the "edecanes" were cute, everything was legit. The clientele were much more "respectable" than most of the mongers I've seen at Adelitas. After some chit-chat with a couple ladies, I noticed a nice petite chica dancing on stage and immediately headed over. After the dance she came over and we talked. I was definitely feeling her and wanted sex. Her name started with a "B" or a "V" (I realize en Espanol, "B" sounds like "V") and she was from 1 hour away. Spoke no English, 21 years old, dos hijos with "dead-beat" dad, hey, what else is new? Pardon me, I'm starting to sound like Sound7 with the snide remarks that make no sense. Anyways, she quotes me at 700 and I started laughing. I knew she meant pesos but played dumb. She started laughing, remarking that she forgot I was an Americano with the almighty dollar. Damn, my Espanol isn't that good. I told her $60 and off we went. Now, one other thing I want to mention before I go on, prior to this conversation, while she was dancing, this random guy came up to me and asked me if I wanted cocaine. Weird.

We walk out the club, she puts the robe on, and this douche bag bouncer tells me I have to pay a dollar. I ask him, "para que?" and he says some shit that I didn't understand. There were two cops standing right next to him. I was pissed, and didn't want to pay it, but again I didn't want to make a scene so I basically crumbled up a dollar and smacked it in his hand. What exactly was that for? If it was to put the robe on, that's BS, because the girl put it on by herself and the guy did nothing. Anyways, we go next door and the hotel clerk asks me to sign in on the clipboard. For anyone wondering, you'll see me under "Ron Mexico," I'm not a dog killer though. Michael Vick references FTL.

Upstairs, we get ready and she undresses. I take off my boxers and she starts freaking out. I'm a pretty skinny guy and I think most chicks expect me to have a small package. Chica sees me and does this disbelief-giggle type thing. In Espanol, she remarks something along the lines of me being really horny and having a big package. I consider myself very average and I'm definitely not one to toot my own horn, but this is about the fourth time in a row that I've gotten similar remarks so I guess for my size, I'm sort of packing. That or these girls think we all have low self esteem. Helps to trim the forest too beforehand, that'll make you look like Peter North in no time! Anyways, the important details: tight, no foul odors, shaved, very enticing. We go in missionary for a little while and it's really tiring me out because the bed is so damn low and she is so small I have to squat. I turn her around for some doggie and this is were some issues arise. I have to reiterate, this chica was very petite. I was doing my "try to get it in as deep as you possibly can" routine and she was definitely not enjoying it. She had her hands on my thighs and was complaining for me to take it easy. I slowed down and we went back into some more mish. I finished in this position and we got cleaned up. We chit-chatted for a while and she definitely came off as very sweet. I almost forgot to pay her but she reminded me. I would definitely repeat with her. I hitched a Taxi Libre back to la linea and paid the guy with the only bill I had left in my pocket, a $10. When mongers on here suggest to use pesos, they tell you for a reason. I severely overpaid in many aspects, and I'm definitely going to avoid this from here on out.

In reference to Sound7's post, ICE has been posting up along the line pulling people out and questioning them. I visited TJ on Labor Day and witnessed them questioning some teen aged guy, they even made him lift has shirt and empty his pockets right in front of the hundreds of people in line.

So it was my first trek to TJ in a while. It started as a mission to get some lunch. There is a delicious seafood restaurant I visit in Zona Rio. Caught a cab from the border, had my fill of fish and shrmip, and hailed a cab back to Revolucion. I was with some friends who are not into the mongering scene so I was unable to partake in the action. I ditched them for a few leaving them to window shop while I skirted to the Zona. Took a look around and SG pool didn't look up to par. Have things slowed that much?

You would do better to use your airline miles to go through Miami where paid sex is illegal and no doubt very expensive, and connect to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, where the weather will be hot and dry and the girls will be hot and wet. Stay in Sosua, where you will be able to get by very well without Spanish. Have sex with as many beautiful 18-25 year olds as you wish for about US$40 a go--a bit more if you want them for the whole night.

You paid $1 to "rent" the robe. That's standard HK BS but you have to pay.

At 700 pesos you would save money over $60 as long as the exchange rate is better than 11.67 which it has been for a long time.

Finally, you probably did buy some chips: $7 chica ficha drink + $3 chips = $10 but all you have to do is find them on the table and give them back to avoid the extra charge. Of course, if the chica has opened the bag by the time your change comes back you are SOL

I'd say it depends what you are looking for. I've been to both places numerous times.

DR :

-Nice dark meat
-Reasonable prices for hotel room action vs $5 SW hotels in TJ
- If you are willing to spend money scuba golf and other outdoor activities are at your disposal.
-Nice beach in sosua. Although seeing the crowds during the weekend might turn you off.
-Hotel prices are getting pricey.
-IMHO if all you want is booze and sex fine. If you have the money for drivers and activites sosua could be alot more fun.
-Others will debate me on this but IMHO the food sucks and at US prices.

TJ :

-Best mexican food hands down is in san diego and texas !
- More latin/indian women vs the DR which has a more african heritage..although you will see other type of mixes but not as many.
- No hotel action for $40..NO WAY
- You will need to negotiate a little harder for services although the DR can be just as bad depending on who you choose. There are more desperate women in the DR IMHO. You can get some good bargins
- If you are young looking maybe cops would be a problem or rather an annoyance. You can "let go" a little more in the DR. TJ is more watching your back.
_ Excellent shopping. You could take care of xmas gifts(leather) and still come out with money in your pocket.
- More dangerous IMHO

There is more but this is a general outlook.

I really like sosua but I've been avoiding it lately. Partly due to increased hotel prices but also "been there done that" and there isn't much for me that is affordable to do on my down time. The food gets very boring as well.

It is a must visit at least once though.

Forget that miami exists besides the airport. The rest is worthless...the 80's are long over.

I've been trying to keep the trip simple because I've got enough miles for one domestic flight. Travel to DR would require buying another ticket, plus a layover in Miami anyway due to poor connections from my home city. That actually sounds kind of doable, spend a couple days in Miami, then 4 or 5 in Sosua and back again.

Advantage of Tijuana is that it's just a short flight to San Diego, then just walk across the border to Zona Norte each day. Simple and sleazy!

I guess my choice comes down to just how decadent I want to be on this trip. Costa Rica, anyone?

If you are thinking about Costa Rica, I would suggest another hours flight and going on to Colombia.

I have been to CR about eight times in the past three years. Last year I went to MDE for the first time, and I will not be going back to CR in the near future. Not only are the women more beautiful in Colombia, but offer very passionate sessions, even with an old f*rt like me. The cost is also less after you have arrived. I have another trip to MDE scheduled in November.

I agree on staying on the Mexican side of the border for your trip. There are several decent, clean, safe hotels on Ave. Revolucion. With the current exchange rate they can be had for less than $30.00 per night. Most rooms on the you. S, . Side are at least $49.00 per night, and then you have to factor $10.00 for cab fares, time getting to and from, and through the linea.

Another option is the short time hotels that the clubs use. If they have space they will rent a room for about $35.00 per night.

Health and happiness to all.

If all you can do is "domestic" then your only options are one of the border towns. Pack very light and bring some rugged non descript clothing.

I strongly suggest you become a senior member for $20. That way people can communicate with you when you are there. You will find this very useful during your travels.

Kudos to Wooterz for his excellent report describing a recent visit to the Hong Kong Club.

I see that the patrons are still being subjected to multiple scams and hustles. I think these have increased as Zona Norte patronage has decreased in the wake of the punk economy on both sides of the border. When business was brisk the girls and staff made plenty of money in the usual ways. But now that times are tough they've turned to nickel-and-dime stuff like unwanted snacks and unbidden photos.

Granted, these tactics are nowhere near as bad as the stuff we used to see in Avenida Revolucion clip joints -- like failing to make honest change, pickpocketing and men trying to pass for women. And the savvy patron who reads the traffic here can easily avoid getting scammed. But it is annoying to see the hustle factor at the Hong Kong Club increasing. I think this is going to hurt them in the long run because it's going to scare off the less experienced clientele from north of the border.

Reading between the lines, I think the original poster is looking to use his expiring frequent flier miles to go on a simple holiday without spending a lot of extra money. So while I concede that international destinations have their charms, I suspect it would be more productive to answer the question that he put.

I reccommend the following: Book a flight to San Diego, which is apparently not that far from where the original poster lives. Then reserve a hotel room in Chula Vista, near the intersection of E Street and I-5. There are several to choose from. If he's on a budget the Motel 6 is serviceable and WAY nicer than most places in Tijuana that are recommended here. If he wants to spend a little more the Best Western South Bay and the Day's Inn are options. At the Best Western the king rooms on the second floor overlooking the pool are quite nice and represent a good value. If he's willing to spend the bucks for more amenities, the Comfort Inn & Suites offers king rooms and king suites that are very nice.

If he's a professional road warrior who has some free car rental days coming this might be a good way to redeem them. If he'd rather economize by taking public transit he can easily take the bus from the airport to the trolley and get off at the stop right there next door to the Best Western. And of course going back and forth to the border on the trolley is silly simple. Just be sure to finish up in Tijuana in time to catch the last northbound departure.

As the the Zona Norte itself, right now it's a total buyer's market. If he's in the market for a trophy fuck, the hottest girls at the Adelita Bar or Hong Kong Club will all go for $60. Add in $12 for the room, $1 for the robe rental (HKC only) and $1 for the room cleaner's teep and you've banged a hottie for less than $75. I just don't see how he's going to beat that in Miami. Moreover, as I've previously posted these days it is possible to negotiate for bareback blowjobs. Even if you pay an extra $20 for this service, in my book that's still a pretty good value.

Finally there is the hassle factor. I realize this is highly personal. What some guys think of as a giant pain in the neck other guys gaff off as part of the holiday adventure. But in my view the plan I've outlined has a very low hassle factor. The San Diego weather will be perfect, the ground transfers will simple, and the lodging will be comfortable. So everything north of the border will be conducive to relaxation. (Which, after all, is the whole point of the trip.) South of the border the pay-for-play scene is totally above-board and a known quantity. Everything he needs to know can be found in the Brockton O'Toole FAQ hosted here on the ISG. So rather than trolling the sticky underground in Miami, risking disappointment or even arrest, he can get laid without fear in the Zona Norte.

To me, it's a no-brainer.

Excellent advice. The only thing I want to add is another $20(for drinks) or so on top of what you have already outlined. When I crunch numbers I add any expense that I might incur while I monger.

I personally do not like establsiments that sell drinks and sex. Thats where the hustling takes place.

So your $95 session with bbbj has crept up to $115 minus taxi to the border and trolley fare (buy a pass). Still a good deal for north america *IF you thoroughly enjoyed your session. What if you get a dud ? Then you've spent $115 on a half hour of CBJ and whatever nonsense you could have gotten for $20/25 by an SW. Obviously the girls are of different quality but to me *service crosses all boundries and in the long run thats what matters.

There must be other options besides HK and AB.

HK, CC and AB fall into safe catagory for the price range of $85 with coupons (HK only) to $115 plus..

Yes, other option including SW exist at much lower price at greater possible personal safety concern.

Been a long time reader and learnt my share of tricks from this forum. English aint my natural language but will try to make this mini-TR as consise and interesting as possible.

This was my 3rd visit to TJ and I start in San Jose(southwest) at 8:20am and reached TJ by 11:15am thats around 4 hours door-to-door. Use the airport-america plaza bus(992) and then trolley to san ysidro, round-trip $5(day-pass). Crossed the border went straight to the yellow-cab($5) and dropped off at Ade. Booked a room with TV(3rd floor) for the day($35+$5 deposit) and headed down to the floor.

Since this was a weekday(wednesday) morning, few girls(aounrd 10) but all them not my type(except two). Picked one(name is Mari) for 30 mins($60). Looks were 7, service was 8, Spoken English was 6, age was 22. She lives in mexicali came here recently for some extra dough. She says she is US citizen and travels often to Calexio and SD.

Wanted to checkout the HK Club, lots of police action on the street in front of AD. Like 8 cop cars and 2 cop pickups. They all seemed to be dressed for action with bullet vests and guns but they were just hanging out, may be just a show of force. Felt good that this was safe but then for a second thought there might be shootout with the gangs -:), see the pics attached.

HK was much better over 30 younger ones and only about 20 guys. The waiters seem to flock at you and try to sell you the services with their commission. Just chatted with a waiter called 'Edwin' who spoke decent english. I tipped him $5 who helped me track a pole dancer. Looks 7, Service 6, English 1, 19 years. Went to the HK hotel with her for $60(she dint want to go below that, I tried the pesos thing but she still wanted 800 pesos). Decent session no rush. One thing I noticed in HK floor, they didnt have the girl on girl soap rub thing that day(atleast till 4pm).

Strolled over to Tropical across the street, 8-10 chicas. 2-3 my type offered 600 pesos for one but she wanted 800, bailed out of there.

Finally went to AD for the last round, I wanted a stunner, Jacklin who recognized me from the last time I was there. Looks 8, Service 8, English 5(pics attached). Wanted $60 and my junior didnt want to nego and here I go.... Great service, perky bbs and erect nipples. All covered and the chica was a clean freak, made me wash my hands after I handled money so that I can play with her p. She was good enough to let me take her pics at the end.

Showered up and headed back to the border at 4pm, was back at the airport by 5:40pm.

The only thing I want to add is another $20 for drinks.I left this out of my original cost estimate because it varies so widely among guys. I don't make it to the Zona Norte nearly as often as I'd prefer. So when I'm out and about I spend freely on drinks (for me and the ladies); on tips (for all and sundry); and on miscellaneous entertainment like private dances at the Hong Kong Club. Somebody who visits more often, or somebody who does not imbibe might only drop a fraction of what I usually spend.

So your $95 session with BBBJ has crept up to $115 minus taxi to the border and trolley fare. Still a good deal for North America if you thoroughly enjoyed your session. What if you get a dud? Then you've spent $115 on a half hour of CBJ and whatever nonsense you could have gotten for $20/25 by an SW.That is a different debate. The original poster is trying to decide between Miami and Tijuana. I argued that the well-established, above-board commercial sex scene in Tijuana makes it more likely he'll find value in the standard session with a girl he finds in the Adelita Bar or Hong Kong Club. As for the risk of a poor session with a dud, that's always a problem in the pay-for-play arena. I would submit that the risk of a poor session is actually higher in a place like Miami where the scene is underground. As every guy who has ever called an escort service will tell you, the quality varies BY A LOT. As for going with a street girl, might the original post also find value in the alley? Of course. But my experience is limited to the club girls so that's what I wrote about.

Quick crotch grab and a squeeze by some chica is a common practice at HK now. A bicycle horn type squeeze

Avoid walking around HK to miss the crotch grab, unless you enjoy it. :o

Times are tough. :p

Welcome to HK. :) :(

Leave $$ @ HK .

.I see that the patrons are still being subjected to multiple scams and hustles.

I think this is going to hurt them in the long run because it's going to scare off the less experienced clientele from north of the border.Bunky

Was just with this Jacklin. Great service. Did not ask for $ ahead of time. My only problem was her misconception of the exchange rate (in her favor). I had exchanged for Pesos to try to strike a deal. However she insisted on her price of $60 or 800 pesos in her monkey math (she said the exchange was 14 to 1 and that I had been ripped off). She wouldn't budge so I paid $60.

Any tips from some of you senior mongers on how I can improve the negotiation tactics? Should I be negotiating price up front? Thanks.

FWIW,

I haven't been to Tj since January, but the Foam show girls were HOT! I asked the waiter and then later the lady that "handles" the girls about taking one upstairs. I was told by both that they don't go up, and that they are actually lesbians, not bi.

Of course, this info is a bit dated, and who knows about how accurate it is.

I will finally return to the Zona in a week, and will report!

I live near Miami and I've been to TJ many times. Here's how I would break it down.

Miami Pluses:
- Better looking women (Colombians and Brazilians...need I say more)
- More variety (Latin, White, Black)
- Less Police hassle. The TJ police have given me a lot of problems and it really has ruined a few nights (I've done nothing wrong, just in the wrong place at the wrong time).
- English spoken.
- No waiter rip-offs to constantly watch-out for.
- Don't have to worry much about pick-pockets and other street crime.

TJ Pluses:
- Rental car not needed.
- Great food (taco stand).
- Cheaper women.
- Everything close together.
- Generally more private/comfortable room options at the club (but you can usually bring them back to hotel in Miami).
- Little risk of false promises (although it's becoming less common, you can get screwed in Miami by a girl that promises the world and then doesn't deliver).

For me, I prefer Miami because I know the scene well. You'll probably end up paying more in Miami by the end of the trip. But I don't mind paying more for hotter women. Note, if you chose Miami, avoid tourist times (anything later than mid Nov). The prices will be higher and the clubs will be crowded with men. Also, I'd consider a weekday visit to Miami for better women to men ratio and better prices.

The weather should be great in both places.

I don't know if is the economy or what, but it's not too hard to get what you want in the VIP of some clubs in South Florida. The massage places I've been to in South Florida are set-up purely for sex. They get busted sometimes, but not often. The strip clubs only seem to get busted for drugs. The strip clubs will run $200-$300 for everything (the ones that are not tourist rip-off joints). The massage places $150-$200 for everything.

Cost wise, 4:1 is about right, but the quality of women is much better in South FL IMHO. I'd rather do 2 South American hotties than 8 TJ women. Also, I get much better GFE in South FL. The putas are too hardcore for me in TJ.

At even 4:1 cost ratio and not including air travel and lodging cost one would be hard press to make the tip to MI unless time commitment and money is no object. Just beauty consideration and the risk of LE involment is not a issue than MI would be the place.

Cuban girls can be hot looking and very funny. Key West area has more choices too. Not sure what the action is Key West or the Gulf thses days.

We just had a border incident in TJ which included a shooting yesterday, four killed. It was people trafficing incident at the border.

If all these variables make any connection than TJ might be the place for someone, but not everyone.

They really only have 2 take out clubs. Chicago Club and Adelitas.
No, actually many of the surrounding bars are also "take out clubs." Adelitas Bar and Hong Kong being the current main attractions. Chicago Club is no longer at the top of the list. It literally went from being the most happening place to a deserted dive bar. Sad really.

It costs maybe 60 or 70 dollars, then 10 for the hotel. You can buy drinks in the bar but I have never stuck around that long.Correction, 12 dollars. And why have you never bought drinks? It's a great way to get a feel for the girl before taking her upstairs.

They have a line up around that area. It has about 70 or 100 girls waiting. I have never tried it.It's hardly around that much. 50 girls at one time would probably be the max and that would be on a super busy day.

You never tried what? You mean you've never been to the Zona Norte?

You pay maybe 20 or 40 dollars for a quickie.Only for street girls. Unless you negotiate with the bar girl, she might go as low as $40 dollars and it being a quickie is up to your stamina because the rooms for both Ab and Hk are rented at 30 minute intervals.

They have regular USA style strip clubs closer to the border near the tourist traps but it's like.? I don't know why you'd go.Change of pace maybe but those bars are known for being rip off joints. Also, even though prostitution is done in those bars it's not legal in that area.

The taxi across the border will give you a hard time getting to Chicago Club or Adelitas. It usually costs 5 dollars for the taxi. It is the Zona Norte. You can always ask to be dropped off in an area close to the Zona Norte and walk the rest of the way. Cause the taxi driver only tries the old switcheroo once he knows your headed for a strip bar.

The revo clubs are shells of what they used to be and some like Peanuts and Beer might come with a 'trannie surprise'. Taxi drivers will try to talk you into going to places where they get a commision like overpriced Amnesia ($12 girl drinks) or massage places like Purple Rain ($40 massage and then you gotta pay the chica more for sex).

Zona Norte redlight besides AB and CC also have HK (biggest stripclub with the most chicas, dancers and customers currently... pushy waiters though), and Tropical Bar is good for those that can speak spanish. Lots of smaller bars also that cater more for locals too. Most any AB girl will go for 60 or less, with the crappy economy its possible to negociate 50 or even 40 for daytime or less good looking chicas for a half hour. Some CC girls will try to hold out for 70 but most will go for 40-60 and thus the princesses often stand around all night unpicked.

Walk across the border. Change your money to pesos.

A five dollar taxi fare to Club HK, open 24/7.

Behind Jack in the Box is a very convinent parking lot for a short trip and for an extended trip to Mexico or to buy large quanties of alcholol use UAE lot across the bridge.

One can take three (3) liters and case of beer into Tijuana everyday but only one liter (1000 ml) back to USA every 30 days.

UAE has great deal on Vodka but at the outlet UAE store, just a two block west in the Outlet Mall. Best Polish vodka . one liter size for $9.00. I mentioned Vodka because your client may prefer Vodka over Tequila.

Mid-week and weekends are better than Monday and Tuesday. It is estimated 2000 chicas work in the sex trade and some are hotter than others.
HK is open 24/7 but the picking iis limited for breakfest and lunch, The rest you know from your previous TJ trips

The risks of going to Mexico is the same as being in Russia according to the current US State Department reporting. I would not compare SP or Moscow to TJ.

Have a safe trip

Cabroncito TJ trip report would be interesting.

Hope I answered all you questions.

Your best answers would probably come from someone who experience with taking Russians to the zona.

Here is a link to that guy (OneWingLow). http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=766

The parking lot by Leyva next to cc is still good, just got to keep your head on a swivel. Tuesday is better than Mondays. OWL said his Russian guys liked HK. AB has the hotties and CC is the slowest but it is right by your car for a night cap. Talk with OWL for tips with your VIP's.

Hey yall,

I doubt this is the right place to post this but I just have a qustion and was wondering if you guys could shed some light.

I'm going to be heading down through the 15th till the 21st to Tijuana and have a couple requirements:

Walking distance to the Hong Kong club.

Hotel with a Jacuzzi in the room.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for the reply. I should have made it clear, saving money on parking, forex, or liquor is at the bottom of the priority list. Not to pass judgment on anyone but if I was going to waste money on a hooker it certainly would be much further south of the border than mexico ;)

The comfort and entertainment of my partners is the number one concern. We will drive, I will report.

I was down during the shootout last week at the crossing, no big deal just got home late. I feel much safer in my car than in the street.

Back to my original question, Is bolero worth a visit ??

As you guessed Bolero was closed. We found some decent talent at Adelita and a small place close by I pulled a new skinny blond 19y/o gogo dancer from Nogales. It was her first night in TJ and she was a little nervous but very nice y marvillosa en la cama.

HK was okay but we were all tired from earlier activities by then.

Will post more details after a few more visits this week.

If anyone can recommend a higher end venue besides bolero let me know.

I should have mentioned I hit about 8 clubs in ZN last night including HK. Adelita was the best though. Two quick questions:

is it customary to pay the girl up front ?

is there a separate charge for the hotel ?

the place I went last night I paid the house 40 and her 45 for 1hr. I paid up front but she was no starfish

Many girls from Adelita, Chicago or Hong Kong would like to be paid upfront. Some guys absolutely refuse and will say no. A few girls will refuse which will end the date (you don't get your room money back, but you can tell them and get a credit for the next girl you bring up). If a girl insists, I'll put the $ on the table and they can get it when we're done. An Adelita girl last time told me about a cliente that agreed to $60 but when they were done had only $11 so she's asking all her non-regulars for money first now.

is there a separate charge for the hotel ?

The hotels above the bars are separate businesses and you pay $12 for 30 minutes. The prices the girls quote in the bar do not include the room fee. You are expected to pay the $12 for the room when you get to the front desk. You should also expect the cleaning guys to hassle you for a dollar tip when you leave the room. Every cleaning guy in the hotel you run into before your room and the front door will ask. I give the first guy a dollar and then tell the others I paid the first guy.

Hong Kong and Adelita (and Chicago -- dont' bother going unless it is a weekend) usually have a standard rate for the girl of $60 for 30 minutes (some girls will go down on their rate). And as said above that does not include the $12 room fee.

A $40 house fee (or any other fee) (salida fee?) is not part of the deal in Adelita/Chicago/Hong Kong. Where did you go to find this pricing?

A good rule of thumb is to never pay up front. Feel free to make exceptions, but there are many stories on these boards of guys paying in advance and getting crummy service. So, as a matter of course, I just don't do it.

There is a separate charge for the hotel.

Please elaborate on the bar, or at least the location if you don't remember the name. $45/hour is very reasonable. I'm wondering what the $40 was for. Did you pay it to a hotel, or the bar?

Thank you for the advice guys. We have been down three days in a row. I ended up at a small casa (not a strip club) two nights each night having a brand new girl from nogales 19 y/o and 20 y/o They are friends and arrived monday. Both did not seem to know the routine (eg asking customer to wear condom, ect) but I told them to always wear one with every customer. Also, each girl had a unshaved hairy pussy which I like very much and was eager to please. Reminded me of Medellin or Cali girls, but with hairy pie as an added bonus. I love the sensation of the hair stroking my cock.. They are only in town for the week, the house flew them up here.

We drove each night and parked in ZN, no problems. Also visited Amnesia and Botero (both awful !). My associates had the most girls in Adelita. HK was okay. The smaller places were not as talent rich.

I am retired from P4P scene, as I really like fucking non pro latina girls here in San Diego and Los Angeles. But it was a nice change of pace for a few days.

Also, there was a shooting Tue night in ZN, and cops all over the street and clubs but it did not interfere with our activities.

no it was in zn, as I mentioned I paid 40 for room and 40 for girl, I was chatting with the doorman yesterday for 20min and he said I paid low, the girls typically get 60 to 120. But keep in mind I am bilingual and negotiate daily for my business.

The rooms were nicer than adelita, and the girls all have same school outfit.

I would keep my eye open down there though, I would not go down there too often even if I was out of retirement based on safety factors, I did not get a comfortable feeling walking the street. Also talked to some street girls and they said this security situation is worse than a few years ago.

I will be in TIJ the week of the 12th and prefer a lower key environment than ZN. I too am fully bilingual and will not have any issues communicating with anyone.

Did this place have a name? What's the location?

From the description (room price, school uniforms) it sounds a lot like Mermaids.

What is the story with taking a girl from AB or CC an bringing her back to your own personal hotel for the whole night.

Do the do this what can I expect them to charge?
