I am heading to Tijuana tomorrow for a dr appt. I have not been to ZN since 2009. A few quick questions if you can answer by tomorrow morning:
If I get my own hotel, can I take street girls there for short time, or do they insist on their own hotel? (any suggested hotel for afternoon and early eve only)
Are girls at Adelitas and HK still about 60 plus 12. 00 for the hotel? Can I get the same hotel room for a few hours if I want to take different girls up?
Most importantly do I pay before or after we finish the session?

You'll find not much has changed in the process in ZN since your last visit. The chicas in HK and AB are $60, although lately there have been some at HK that have been asking for more, but you can always counter-offer with $60. There isn't really an advantage for getting the same room for a few hours, as it will limit you to the girls that work in that corresponding bar. If you're only going to be there one evening, you may as well do the standard short time rate, and have the flexibility to sample different chicas from different bars.
Also, there's not a strict rule on paying a chica before or after the session unless you have your own rule, some chicas ask for payment upfront and some don't, some guys say they never pay upfront and are firm about it, but so are some chicas firm about getting paid first, YMMV.

Call me cheap but I also just walked from Ticuan when I stayed thereAs a new yorker I got a chuckle out of the "too far to walk" topic regrading the Ticuan. I walk that distance back and forth between 3 to 5 times a day. When I am in NY I carry 4 bags of groceries 3/4 times that length.
The only time you may want to take a taxi is late at night. At times there are shady people on revo that like to shadow gringos. I have had to dodge a few in the past. Otherwise enjoy the walk. It is a fun stroll down Revo and everybody knows your name eventually.

I get sick on every mongering trip I go on. Usually I prey that it happens afterwards but it hardly plays out that way. There are a lot of reasons why you might feel sick. Mainly your immune system is going crazy responding to the new bacteria in a foreign country. I tend to get white spots on my throat when I travel. After asking my doctor what they were he mentioned that they are an immune response. My immune system is reacting to my environment.
I have a nasty chest cold which comes from adding smoking to the already volatile mix. There were also a few rough nights for me when I arrived. I had to adjust to the noises around me. If you add up all the variables and add licking ass to the mix you get a cold.
I travel with ciproflaxin for bacteria based illness. When I treat a cold I do it the old fashioned way unless I sense a fever or other red flags. Then I email my doctor.
Luckily I stay for a long time so it doesn't really affect my trip that much. I still get BJs and I do non bar related activities in the meantime.

I took the trolley to Tijuana at 1:33pm today. When I crossed the border the place where I always change money said be back in 5 minutes. So I ate a taco for 15 pesos. I headed down Thursday to check out the Halowwen Paarty. I have become used to staying overnight. But this time I couldn't stay overnight and I figured as long as I leave by 9 or 10 I could get home at a resonable hour. I parked at the motel by Jacks sign said only 4 dollars for 8 hours.

I jumped in a econo cab for the 3 dollar ride to the zona. The only problem I have ever had with the police was on that bridge you take on the walk from the border to Rev.
I decided to stick my head in a few places since the party didn't start until 6. As I walked by Playboy Bar a barker grabbed me trying to get me in there, I said no way dude the word is out this joint is a rip off. I did stop in La Gloria, good place to go for cheap beer however not much to look at as far as chicas. Next hit up Adelita's Las Chaveles and Hong Kong. All three places seemed less crowded than usual. At 6 I headed over to meet up with GF / BG at the Trop.
I always try to slip into the bar without being seen by my GF so I can scope things out. It didn't work, but I figured out why. It's those rat waiters I guess once they recognize you hanging with a certain girl when they see you they go tell the girl. So I found a table and had some drinks. Today I woke up early because I've had a nasty chest cold this week and I wasnt drinking. I decided to check out the Sunday Brunch buffet at the Camino Real Hotel and MAN am I glad I did. This hotel is located across the street from Plaza Rio at the very end of the plaza. There are 2 Sanborns in Plaza Rio. This hotel is located behind the sanborns next to cineopolis (movie theater). Somebody had mentioned this buffet to me on my last trip.
There was :
Sushi Bar.
Eggs / Omlettes made to order.
Crepes made to order.
Clams.
Cakes.
The list goes on and on. It was set up vegas style for $17. 90 drinks included.
Buffet goes from morning until 5pm. I got there at 9am due to the time change that I knew nothing about.
I ate :
Waffles
Pancakes.
Omlette.
Bacon.
Sausage.
Fruit.
Sushi.
Chicken in red sauce.
Steamed cactus.
Grilled zuccini.
Herbal Tea.
Orange Juice.
They even had some guy chiming away on a cheap casio keyboard and a lounge singer with the reverb cranked up. I absolutely loved this place. This would be an EXCELLENT place for a breakfast date with that special TLN that will not brake your bank.
I rolled out of there extremely happy. If you are up on a Sunday morning this is NOT to be missed.
The peso has been at 12. 83 lately WTF? I've noticed that during the week things get better. Does anyone else notice this?
Also kudos to Tom Jackin for turning me onto the ceasar restaurant. This is by far the snazziest place on revolucion. The food is just as good as cien anos. My meals haven't come out to be more than $25. Such a deal.

It had been about 2 years since I had been in Tijuana. Less hassale than before. No real haggling with the taxi drivers. Just wanted $5 from border to Hong Kong and the same from Hong Kong Back. Before it it was them staring at $8 and working down and coming back the ride was a little higher.
Also ate lunch at a little restrauant across from Hong Kong (street side not alley side). Beefsteak, rice, beans chips, slasa and coke for $3. 25. Actually pretty good. Looks like a hole in the wall.
The zona was "dead" tonight (pun intended). Instead there were families with kids trick or treating all over the place. Who the hell brings their kids to a red light district to trick or treat ? Crazy.Trick or Treat in the Zona, and I'm sure some of the kids may have ended up with some condoms and lube packets in their bags.

I'd be careful Hugo, it sounds like you screwed in her car. This is one of those situations where what you're doing isn't that bad in the US and not in Mexico either but if you got caught you're pretty much screwed and will have to cough up whatever they think you can afford. I got wasted and pissed on the side of the road in Rosarito but knew it was a dumb move. I don't know that any guy could say no to what you did though but it's still good to realize the possible outcome.Yea who ever even heard of a car date in Tijuana. You are right Madison, at the time I was thinking its pretty risky and stupid, since you can get a Hotel for 5 or 12 dollars. At one point she wanted to leave the lot and go somewhere more private so we could do full service, but I thought that would be way more risk, since it seems like every other car in that area is a police car. But for the most part are cloth remained on and it seemed like a good way to pass time so no one was driving drunk. Every now and then the lot attendant would walk by the car but it seemed pretty safe. If anything I would think she might be concerned about her reputation, since she uses this lot everyday. But I have noticed reputation does not seem to be something these girls worry about.

Taxi's it is better to pay in pesos especially with the exchange rate the way it is. They wanted $20 to get to Rosarito but when I said ok 200 pesos is good they would take it. At some point it gets to be too much but one night I felt cheap and told a guy I'd pay him 15 he said no, I walked away and he changed his mind quick. It would cost me $15 in gas to drive that here in the states. If you're going there a lot though I would get one taxi driver you know and call or text him when you need him, then you know prices and can trust the guy. You could also make sure to get english speaking taxi drivers.

This is an interesting article I saw. It's so true but at the same time the US is finally doing the right thing instead of footing the bill. I met some very serious criminals deported from the US in Tijuana, they weren't bad guys they just grew up in bad neighborhoods. What's funny is these guys were good people that killed or attempted to kill people because that's what they were raised to think was necessary, but in Tijuana it doesn't take being in a gang to survive it takes money so they work their asses off for way less then minimum wage. I don't think the problem is as bad as they make it out to be, for the % of guys I met that were deported vs the crime I saw the numbers don't add up. Mexico is their prison.

IMHO you'll find it much nicer seeing a chica in person, as opposed to looking at a website. While you may not speak spanish, many chicas certainly know the english words for money and amounts, trust me. Nothing has changed since your last visit regarding a chica working in a specific club taking you upstairs to a designated hotel, it remains the same convenience (for the chica/club/hotel). You didn't mention how long is your trip, so staying at a hotel like Ticuan may be a good option for your comfort, but not necessarily the best option for the short-time chica experience. If you want to take a chica from a club to your hotel, just ask them, but it's not likely they'll leave a club to go with you if they don't know you (security) , and if they still have several hours remaining on their shift (money). Of course many things are possible in the Zona, you may just find a chica to go back with you, but it's not the standard, you should expect to pay more for your convenience.

The benefit of the escort sites, in my opinion, is simplicity. This is especially true if you don't speak Spanish and if you're looking for something other than "the usual", such as several hours or an overnight. These things can be arranged with most girls from the ZN bars on repeat visits, but that requires more negotiation and planning. If you want an overnight, on your first (recent) visit, and on a weekend, the escort sites would be pretty much the only way to arrange this. Some would say that the escort girls also tend to be "lower mileage"; I would agree with that in general, but there are plenty of exceptions in both directions.
On the other hand, the advantage of hunting in the ZN is variety. There are many girls, including plenty who are better looking than you will find on the escort sites. Their business is normally short-time encounters. For a half-hour encounter, they are, of course, cheaper than girls on the escort sites. For longer engagements, you will need to negotiate and your results will vary dramatically with the day of the week. If you want to spend a night with someone from a ZN bar, you will want to get her phone number and arrange a subsequent night with her. Then she can just not show up the bar that night, hence circumventing the contract with the neighboring hotel.

The girls in the ZN (or at least at Adelita's and Hong Kong, which are the only places I consider worth a visit these days) will direct you to the associated hotel whether you like it or not. They are obliged to do so by their "contract". Again, it is possible to get around this with advanced notice and negotiation or at the end of shifts. (Most guys prefer to do this by arriving in the early evening to get girls coming off of a day shift, but it is also possible to get a girl coming off night shift at 5am!)

As far as the street versus clubs, your eyes and wallet will answer that question for you quickly. The better looking girls are in the clubs, so if $60 for a short time is not out of your price range then that's most likely where you'll want to be.
The girls on the street are also less regulated. In theory, this should make it easier to arrange a long time with one away from the Zona. In practice, this is usually so unfamiliar to them that they are even more reluctant to stray from their usual hotel than the club girls are. Be aware that the street girls are also subjected to less stringent health and age controls than the club girls; then again, you should probably not be relying on the Mexican government to ensure the safety of your encounter.

Hotels.
$3 $5 $6 in the zona for 20/30 minutes.
$25/35 all day room in the Zona. Ask about extra fees for guests. There shouldn't be. Try Hotel Leyva or Cascadas. These could be your play house for the day or for the week. You choose.
Sometimes you can get a BG to your room at a hotel outside the zona but it may be too much of a hassle than its worth. Pick an option in your price range and focus on that. If you are only here for a few days don't waste your time negotiating for odd requests. Pick a price option research the services you get for it and let it flow. Tijuana is one monger destination where things happen on the fly. If you plan too much you might get really frustrated.

WinstonIf you plan to use your hotel room for short term play then stay in a hotel in the zona. Leyva, Cascadas or Hacienda Del Santiago.
Most of the bar girls will do a half hour "upstairs" for $60 or an hour for $100. I have been paying $200 for all night in my hotel room after their shift (or on their night off). If you want to do this, it is better to hit the afternoon girls. At Chicago Club they get off at 10 PM, at Adelitas and Hong Kong they get off between 8 and 10 PM depending what time they arrived.
Be sure to negotiate everything on the street with the street girls or they will up price you once you get in the hotel room.
And I know about those international divorces. I got married in Mexico and have been working on my Mexican divorce since July of 2009.

I hung out with one guy like 4 nights and he had a small like grocery store size plastic bag carrying everything he owned and worked as a masero. I'm a very good judge of who I can and can't trust. There's bad people that do bad things and good people that do bad things, I'd rather have a good person that does bad things on my side. I will say though it is funny being a preppy white guy sitting next to these guys talking about yeah I was in that jail too man you know this guy and that guy. It's like there gangs stretch so far they all know each other some how. Although there is another type of deportee I met a few times also, guys who crossed illegally and married women have to come back for 1-2 years before they can get their residency. It's kind of dumb, treating them like a kid that didn't play by the rules going to the corner with a dunce cap. I still stand by Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensanada being very safe places. I'd feel way more comfortable walking the streets at 2am there then in the ghetto in the US at 2am.

WinstonJust like anywhere else money talks and you can almost always get what you want for a price. I think it's around 20 fichas to pull a girl out of the club, I did it once and it was well worth it but it's rare that I find a girl that I want to do that with. Also sometimes locals can get girls that normally wouldn't go, but be careful you don't want the douche bag that's going to ruin it and jack the price up. If you want a street girl to come to your hotel find the girl first don't go following some guy around looking at fat ugly women.
So here's the general report of my travels. I'll point you guys to Adelitas, the message page or HK when I discuss them. Overall, EXCELLENT TRIP. I went with my friend who goes at least once a month or so for the past 26 years, so I was able to get around very easily.
Arrival at the border (10/27) :
So we arrive at the Otay Mesa border crossing around 6pm after kicking it in San Diego. Parking there is $7 / day and it's 10 minutes to the border on foot. So my buddy and I are crossing and reach the Border Patrol Agents at the card table before we hit the Mexican side. They pull us aside, seeing how we're carrying a suitcase each. They search our bags and start playing 20 questions with my friend.
Basically, my friend retorts,"Under USC 19, you can ask me if I have $10k or more on me and search my bags. That's all you can do."
The agent responds,"We can ask you where you're coming from, where you're going and what business you have in Mexico."
My friend,"Yes, you can ask. But I am not required to answer."
BPA,"Do you know you have 4 condoms in your bag?"
Friend,"Yes. So what."
BPA,"Just making sure you're not going over there to have sex with children. There is sex trafficking in Mexico of women."
At this point, it's a big WHOAAA."Are you accusing us of something? And I didn't realize you had jurisdiction in Mexico to enforce ANY laws with out a joint task force?"
BPA,"If you just answered our questions, this would have gone easier. Consider yourself delayed."
So here we are being delayed. After 10 minutes, we get our passports back and off we go. The Mexicans just look at us and smile like,"Whatever muchachos". We hop in a cab and go to the Hotel Ticuan. Cab ride was $18. WHEN YOU RETURN: Be sure that you are there NO LATER than 11PM. That border crossing closes at midnight. The best time to cross is around 8pm. On Saturday, there was NO LINE at that time and crossing was very easy.
The Hotel Ticuan is right off Revolution (Zona Centro). Las Pulgas is the club right on the corner that is next to the hotel and is one of the best clubs in Tijuana for locals. The hotel is $650MEX / night online. If you go in person, it's $700-$750MEX / night. Basically, ensure you do your reservation online. Across the street is the Black Bull (more on that in the Massage Parlor section). The rooms are clean, the restaurant and bar very good (and inexpensive) and the front desk speaks English. There is a drug store across the street that sells an assortment of things that you may need. Unfortunately, you better speak Spanish or it'll be a game of charades. The hotel was perfect and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. When I see locals there, you know it's good spot. It also has free WiFi.
Taxi cabs were $50-$60MEX wherever we went locally. Rosarito would have been about $300MEX there and back.
For a nice mall to chill at, check out la Plaza Rio in Zona Rio. It's right off the highway and has a telemex, cinema and tons of shops. There's also a lot to see. If you speak the language, it's easy to make acquaintance at the Starbucks (which also has free internet). I saw NO TOURISTS here. I blended because I look latino. My friend is pretty white, so everyone was looking at him like,"You lost?"
For restaurants, these are excellent spots and two of the best restaurants in Tijuana. You'll have some of the freshest seafood and beef compared to ANYWHERE. Los Archos (Blvd. Salinas No. 1000) is a seafood place. I had the trout and it was magnificent and the margaritas perfect. All said and done, it was $320 MEX for me. Between the drinks, appetizers and entree, well worth it. Don Diego (Francisco Javier Mina 1611) is excellent for beef. The rib eye was exquisite and perfectly marbled. Just be ready to have a map with directions there ready because the cabbies had NO IDEA where this place was. After appetizers and drinks, I was looking at about $260MEX. Aside from that, I ate at the restaurant at Hotel Ticuan ($30-40MEX / meal) and the taco stands at night.
I'll get into my experiences in Zona Roja in the appropriate sections. Basically, HK is the BEST PLACE TO GO. Adelitas is a close second. Also went to Luxor for a massagi and checked out the casino next store (a big digital bingo / slot machine arcade). Overall, it was fantastic to experience (which I'll get into shortly).
Cambios: I would exchange my cash to pesos. You get a better rate EVERYWHERE. Do it at the cambio around the corner from HK. They have the best rate and no commission. You are going to get the shaft with dollars. They're only good when you're tipping on stage, since you aren't going to tip $10MEX.
This is meant for information on where to stay and places to go. Check out my articles in the other sections for more specifics on my experiences at the clubs. Understand that when I go, I'm not the bargain tourist but I'm frugal. If you see it here, it's worth checking out and is worth the money laid out.

I've done like 5 sessions there never really been all that satisfied but it's a nice way to finish or start a day if you're staying at Ticuan. I've tried the bar next door a few times but it's a walk in and walk out situation it's always dead and it's not really all that great a place. If you walk up the street from there to New Body I think you will be a lot happier! They've had some smoking hot girls there and it has a very US cigar bar vibe to it. If you walk out Ticuan front door you take a right and follow the street for about 4 blocks it curves to the right and is right at a Y in the road. You also will walk by a Mermaids on the way there, I did 2 line ups there and they're even worse than the one across from HK. Last time I was at New Body there was a girl there that spoke almost perfect english, like you would think she went to high school in the states. Fichas are water an New Body though, or soda I don't buy them unless they have a beer in a bottle. I wasn't paying attention one night and this girl slammed down a ton of friggin drinks and when I got the bill I was like there's no way a girl could drink that much liquor and still be standing (think it was around 20 in 2 hours). My fault as it's not a normal occurrence at this place. It's also $2 for a beer at New Body and $3 for dos equis amber which is what usually draws me back because I need a buzz before I start drinking that junk at HK. Next time check it out I think you will be quite pleased. They have a pool table too so you and your buddy can play doubles against the girls there. Something about a girl shooting pool is just hot to me.

Regarding giving the Border Patrol agent a hassle, I understand where you're coming from and respect your opinion. I even felt at the time,"Seriously, what's the big deal?" But after my friend and I talked about it, I saw his point of view as well. According to the law that they are enforcing, when someone is leaving the country there is not a policy requiring them to ask anything. There are two things they are allowed to do. Check your bags and ask you if you have more than $10k on you. If they find contraband during their cursory search, they are allowed to prosecute you for laws you are currently breaking on US soil. I do not disagree with this and think it's a very reasonable standard.
What I do not agree with is someone of authority asking me more than those two questions when I am EXITING the country. What they are asking are questions appropriate for the MEXICAN AUTHORITIES to ask, which they have every right request of me. When I return to the US, Border Patrol and Customs can then ask me where I live, what I was doing in Mexico, etc. The agent in the situation described below was out of hand and outside of even the procedures described in the pamphlet they gave us. In the future, when asked at the border about where I am going in Mexico, why and for how long, the answer will be,"It really isn't any of your business. That is for the Mexican authorities to worry about." The agent was wrong, he knew it and I hope EVERY SINGLE PERSON pulled aside gives these people a hard time. If I must stay within the guidelines of the law, so do they. I cannot take a check-point at a card table very seriously. You're going to ask me arbitrary questions and you don't even have a computer to record my answers? Seriously? What are you trying accomplish? If you want to make the borders safe, giving two American citizens who have nothing illegal on them a hard time is not the way to do it. You say my friend wasted his time? I say he made that decision when he decided to waste ours.
When the law requires me to answer what are meaningless questions at the border, I will comply. Until then, I expect them to play by the same rules I have to abide by. This is why we live in America. If I wanted to give the government carte blanche, then I would have changed my residency to Mexico or China.

The "big" movies are almost all in English, with Spanish subtitles. Sometimes they'll be dubbed in Spanish, but as that is much more expensive, it's rare.
You'll also occasionally find movies that don't make the theaters here, or are straight-to-video productions, etc.
And, you'll also find Spanish-language market movies, too. Those will usually have English subtitles.
The VIP theater is nice, has reclining love-seat type seating, a bar in the lobby, etc.

Hotels are safe, and you are actually more likly to have a problem moving back and forth to and accross the boarder than staying in Tijuana over night. Take a cab at night to your hotel, and you will have no problems at all. I have stayed twice at the Ticuan, which is a bit more money, but really only about 15 bucks a night more, and is safe, comfortable as heck, and just a great place to stay.

Recent flood of US news report of Tijuana as a sex destination.
I would expect the border crossing to be a nightmare with floods of questions from CBP for single male traveler and the best way to avoid is cross during the busy period and travel light. Expect rapid question from CBP of your activities in Mexico to increase level of frustration. Take your time to provide clarification only to your answers. Keep it short and friendly.
Day time crossing would be the best. Sentri lane closes at 10 pm and opens at 6 am; some CBP have a major attitude towards certain SENTRI card holders with excessive shopping or bags.
Avoid any street contact with local to avoid traps and stick to the places reported.

Both Hotel Espana on Revolucion and La Villa De Zaragoza on Ave. Madero Calle 7 have *heat. IMHO the Zaragoza is the way to go and in your price range. I've been to Prague many times and chose never to go to the club "Big Sister", because they'd stream video on their website of the customer sessions. Yes I must agree with Mr. E and Steve, enjoy it while it lasts. I do know one thing when it does end I will probably be making many trips to Tijuana trying to duplicate the situation I have now and never find it again. So yes I will treasure every moment while it lasts.
As far as getting to emotionaly attached, yes I have reached that point where I do have to worry about that. A few weeks ago we had a minor spat and I felt emotions that I have not felt in many, many years. Some of you who maybe in a long term marriage might understand how certain emotions kind of disapear. But anyway even though it left knotts in my stomach in a way it felt good just to feel those emotions again.
During our little spat I mentioned that she was a profesional, and her job is to create a fantasy and make men want her. And I told her she was very good at her job. On our last visit she did let me know that the word profesional really hurt her and made her cry. I thought I was giving her a compliment. But she went on to explain a profesional would never let her heart get in the way of business. I went through Tijuana again yesterday. I hit the pregnant chick again. 200 for her and 60 for the room. She said that she will only be there one more week then she will be gone to have the baby, but would return next year. After that I hit some other broad for 200 and 50 for the room. OK, first a big 'thank you' to all my fellow punters who've trolled Tijuana for years and gave such good, detailed info here. Too numerous to mention by name, but you know who you are. Mil Gracias! And I hope you find this FR, looking at your backyard through a new set of eyes, enjoyable if nothing else.
Knowing for some time I was going to get the opportunity to cross the border for some fun, I've been RTFF like a MFer who's life depended on it. But hey, the deep research is half the fun, right? I memorized the recent map found in this forum (thanks again, to its author) but committed it to memory as I didn't want to look the total noob, walking around with it in hand! It turned out quite useful to get well oriented, and saved me a lot of time, which was at a premium today.
So anyway, on to the details. I parked behind the Jack-in-the Box, $5, what a deal, then headed over the bridge. Caught a taxi for $4 then hit La Zona right at about noon. I cruised around a bit, getting my bearings and admiring the many street putas. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many, of every shape and description, and all so early on a Monday.
But of course I didn't partake of just anything I saw as I was bound and determined to start at the top, the 'Honkers'. Story made short, I chatted up a talll Sonoran from Obregon for about an hour (my conversational Spanish is passable) then went 'ariba' for a test spin. Everything was covered, that's OK, but to my surprise I got permiso for a nice little cruise to the Greek Isles, no upgrade discussion necessary. My tour guide to the pleasures of Tijuana said she was a 36 yo MILF but damn if she didn't look 25 maximum to me. Hell, I was STILL old enough to be el padre to this Chica! She wasn't necessarily the absolutely most drop-dead cutie in the place, but she was more than FINE for me. And as much a real GFE experience as I suspect I'm going to get in Tijuana. I don't want to give her name out here, but I will give more details to a qualified member via PM if you want a name and physical description and ask nicely!
For tactical reasons I can only 'play' during the day, so rounded out my stay with some great tacos in the little restaurant to the left as you exit HK at the corner. It came highly recommended by my Chica, and she was dead-on.
Less than 30 minute wait at the border, and back in my car by 4:00. Total damage, food, beer and all, about $90. Not too bad for a fun afternoon, and I'm definitely going back tomorrow. PM if you want to join me, but sorry it's a daytime romp only, I'm afraid.

Chinese food blows bigtime in Tijuana. Stick with japanese for sure. Right in front of plaza Rio is a japanese joint and also next to la torre de fundadores in a mini mall as U-turn off madero onto aguas caliente.

work kept me away from mexico yesterday, so i returned with a vengeance late this morning. first a 'warm up' walk around the block to check out the sw action seemed in order and there even more out and anxious for action than monday. i mean dozens. if this is your thing, and all you can get in is some day-time punting, there seem to be plenty of choices! i saw something interesting on the street, however, and have never seen it mentioned on this thread. i met and chatted with 3 american sw's, maybe no more than a 2-5 on the usa sw scale, but way out classed by the local beauties. all i can think is the locals like a little 'gringa' poony once in awhile. strange. btw, one of them told me the police raided the 'school girl' squad on monday. most if not all were allegedly **** and their professional 'handlers' were apprehended as well. no idea if this is true or not but they were no where to be seen.
anyway, i decided to keep myself out of the hk club and try some of other joints this time. i wasn't too impressed with chevalias. girls weren't too friendly, nor all that hot. i also didn't appreciate the way the dj paraded every damn dancer around, carrying his mic, and 'demanding' a tip for the chica. i don't mind tipping, but man, these guys and those meseros, 'robe boys', etc, are relentless. como moscas! i slipped in and out of a couple more minor joints, then finally landed in 'tropical'. i kinda liked the vibe, though it certainly was not crowded, there were actually several decent options here. i settled on 'paola', a tapatia milf (sorry ath!) for a little trip 'ariba'. the price was a little less than the 'honkers', and i negotiated 'complete access', though she said she doesn't do this 'very often' (sure, and i'm george clooney's older brother). i will say this, she was extremely tight on the approach, and there was a lot of grimacing involved, but damn if she didn't eventually take it like a champ!
i finished off my day with some tacos from the street cart at the corner of coahuila and ninos heroes, right in front of the 'taqueria 'sherry' where i ate on monday. i believe others on this forum have recommended this place as well, and it was tasty and very busy, always a good sign.
the line back across was all the way past the pedestrian bridge, way past the 'cheese grater' as somebody else referred to it. but it went fast and i was thru in 20 minutes at about 3 pm. one thing i have noticed, and more experienced travelers in the line have pointed out to me, the far left lane, next to the always empty sentri lane, seems to move a little faster.
thanks again hombres, for all the intel provided beforehand. oh, and one last thing. the behind-the-jack-in-the-box, parking spot i mentioned was simply an acknowledgement of thanks to some other monger who'd been kind enough to point it out elsewhere. geez, don't some of you guys know how to take a damn complement?

Made my way back across the border a bit earlier today, and found myself in 'La Zona' shortly after 11 AM. I swear there were even more ladies in the street than the previous two days, and a couple were awfully tempting. But I was determined to give Adelitas a close look today.
I went in expecting the place to be smaller than the HK, and perhaps not quite as nice. And yes, as often noted elsewhere, the Honkers sets the standard, but I found myself pleasantly surprised. As also often commented on, it's a bit darker making it harder to assess the selection at hand, and frankly, many probably wouldn't pass muster at the HK, but there were more chicas than I expected as well. It's also probably unfair to make this observation after just one visit, but they tended to be a bit 'curvier' than the HK ladies. I still managed to catch the eye of a very cute little raven haired spinner, just 22 yo. She was damn fine, and giving off some real GFE vibes, and I almost pulled the trigger. But I just couldn't do it as I had something (or someone) else in mind. I did determine 'Jocelyn' would be working the day shift again tomorrow, and she promised 'todo para mi' if I was interested, and for what I thought was a very reasonable '$50.

I met and chatted with 3 American SW's, maybe no more than a 2-5 on the USA SW scale, but WAY out classed by the local beauties. All I can think is the locals like a little 'Gringa' poony once in awhile.I think you haven't seen it mentioned because it is not worth mentioning. As you said they are 2-5. I am going to be in Tijuana Thanksgiving weekend for the first time, would any one like to meet up and hang out. I will be staying on the Tijuana side until Sunday.
A few questions I will need internet connection because I will still have to check in with work over the weekend. Are there any internet cafes in the zone as I don't feel comfortable taking my lap top with me. 2) costs. this place can really be fun, but is totally designed to suck money out of your wallet like a dyson on high speed. i didn't bother to exchange dollars, and you could probably save $5-10 dollars a day if you worked at it. but do bring lots of ones for the taxi, the dancers and those always-with-their-hands-out waiters. as good as the sws looked at times, i stuck with the club chicas. for about $50 i got 30 min. of 'completa' attention with finer women than i ever expected, and never paid more $60 at the most.
3) day-time mongering. i was concerned my options might have been limited as for business reasons i could only get down across the border at that time. but while some places like chicago weren't open, most of the clubs were and there were plenty of women. many told me they preferred days and only worked day shifts. i'm sure nights and weekends rock and i'd like to experience that someday, but you'll do fine in 'daylight' as well.
4) wir? or more specifically, would i make tijuana a long distance punting trip? oh he'll yeah, i'd come back in a new york minute given the chance. but as for being a true destination for mongering only, i'd weigh flight costs, etc. my opinion only, but if latin destinations like columbia or maybe the dr are reasonable, there really is no comparison. if you do come down, and especially if you are making multiple border crossings, i wouldn't even bother without a passport. that 'no-docs' line (drivers license only) looks brutal! i'm talking hours long.

Yes, you are correct, I was quoting chica prices only and it is good that you point out at least one ficha drink of $7-$8 is customary. First, RTFF. Much of what you ask is covered. And more.
Book a room at the Ticuan. If your laptop is around 14" it will fit into their in-room safes. They have wifi, although it can be a bit spotty, depending on where your room is in relation to the WAP. There are some internet cafes in Centro. Can't tell you exactly, but ask the front desk.
You'll get an argument on the subject of paying first. But most of the experiences on this board are of the negative variety. You pay first and lose any leverage you have. And often the session goes downhill. YMMV. My personal rule is that I never pay a BG up front. If she demands, then I know she is prety hard-core and been around too many gringos. And that's a deal-breaker. I've had a couple of SGs, and some chicas in CR who were ready to walk, but showing them the money and promising payment afterward did the trick. But that is very much the exception in my experience.
Going down on them is hit or miss. Some like it, others don't. It's best to ask first. But some really dig it! The downside is that it eats up a lot of the clock. I had business in San Diego on Monday and Tuesday, so I planned my trip so that I could enjoy some south-of-the border fun.
Day One:
Landed around 3:00, got my rental car, checked into the hotel where I'd be staying for the next several nights, and then headed for the border. I stopped off for some Vitamin V before heading for the Zona and got enough to last for my entire trip. The weather was really crappy, cold and rainy. I knew that I wanted to get a Greek trip in on this visit. I've always found that the schoolgirls standing at the corner will be up for anyting if the price is right, so I headed that way. I'am never sure when I write these reports if I should only just stick to useful information for other members. Or if anyone likes to read about the trials and tribulations of carrying on a relationship with a lady in the Zona. But if you ever think it is posible you might want to get mixed up with one of these ladies you might find the info useful.
Things I learned on this trip.
1. Ticuan is still favorite. I prefer my room on the same side of the building as the front entrance. In the wee hours as the drunks are leaving Las Pulgas many fights and arguments and drama, it is better than watching TV.
2. Many times it is asked on this board is it ok to bring a lady back to your Hotel. On 2 of the 3 nights I ended up with 2 girls spending the night and no one at the desk batted an eye.
3. Favorite club in the Zona, is Tropical Bar if you want to drink dance and have a good time seems like the most festive of the clubs. Also the new addition is a good place to go sit with the right Chica and get away from all the commotion.
4. I'am pretty sure GF loves me, and it is still never about money with her. But as usual I will proceed with alot of caution. She might just see me as part of her exit strategy from the Zona. She is in her upper 30's and is probably thinking she does not have many years left in the bar. She claims she will no longer go to the room for sex only dancing and lady drinks I guess without a spy I will never know. But then again if I'am going to get mixed up with a lady in the zona I better not worry about things like that.
5. And most important try to make sure not to get her to drunk. Some people like me are passive happy drunks. And others become angry and sometimes violent when consuming to much alcohol. I found her to be a bit dangerous after to much alcohol.
So as far as the report met GF at her work a little before she finished her shift good timing I only bought 1 fichia. We then met up with one of her BG friends at Las Pulgas and ended up staying till about 3 a. M. It was nice having her friend there she was attracting men and they would buy buckets of beer, and I ended up not having to buy all the drinks. He set his sights on a guy sitting by himself and came to his table and sat next to him and put his arm around him. The guy was complaining to the waiters they just seemed to chuckle. Seems like there was no security to help the guy out. Anyway we headed back to the room around midnight for mucho sexo.
Saturday she wanted us to go to her casa so she could pick up some cloth and check on the family. I told her I would stay at the hotel and she should text me when she comes back. She asked for 10 dollars for gas and I gave it to her. I still have not figured out proper shitting etiquette when you spend this much time together so that was probably the main reason to stay in the room. Las Pulgas was packed I even had to wait in line to get inside. There was alot more drinking at Las Pulgas and before I knew it, it was 5 something in the morning we were all pretty drunk and headed back to the hotel. So me and 2 drunk ladies headed to the room of course I 'am starting to picture a wild 3 some back in the room. Nope thats not where this story is going. For some reason my GF likes to act like she is mad about something when she drinks. And after a few minutes it always follows the same pattern we kiss make up and everything is fine. Each other, then she punches her friend in the nose. Then comes a knock at the door and it is someone from the hotel checking to see if everything is ok. I guess I'am probably not prepared to deal with all this baggage these ladies carry around inside them but I seem to always enjoy these trips enough to come back again.
Sunday morning she woke up as sweet as can be and kept apoligizing to me and her friend. I headed to the border after breakfest. The line was very long but it doesn't seem to matter how long the line is it usually takes about an hour to cross. Now if I could find a way to avoid the $30. 00 parking bill after a 3 days visit.
Sounds like the fun I always have on my trips.

It's about 4:45-ish and there is already a long line. So, we get into said line. Thank God the rain stopped. But a wonderfully cold sharp wind came up.
The line started moving at 5:00, just as advertised. It moved a fair amount, thens stopped dead at 5:15. And we stood in that fucking line, wet and freezing, for almost another 90 minutes. All the while vendors worked the crowd, selling these huge posters, suitable for framing, of JP2. You got to be kidding. You're going to hang that where?
I was getting seriously pissed off. My back was tightening up, my feet hurt and I told her if we don't start moving by 6:30 I was going back to the hotel and she could meet me there. But it started moving at exactly 6:30, and we were inside about 6:45.
The line wandered down the stairs, through some under-construction parts of the cathedral, and into a wide area. OK. Finally going to get to see this neat-o collection of stuff.
In a wide spot was a funeral bier, made of fancy metal and porcelain, with JP2 painted on the porcelain ovals on the sides and ends. On top was a plexiglas box with a fucking statue of JP2, wearing the papal robes, or some shit. And people were crowding around this creepy-assed thing, touching the top, muttering to themselves, and practically swooning. What the ever-loving fuck? The cross is not standing up, it is laying down, like its been tipped over sideways at about a 60-degree angle, touching at the base and the side tip of the cross. We waited in line with hundreds of filipinos to get into that anteroom (and put some pesos in the 'contribution' box). The sideways-tipped cross / jesus was about 20' in length, and ceramic jesus was about 12' tall. When we got into the anteroom (I had no idea what was inside that room till I got there) , hundreds of filipinos were kneeling, touching the plexiglass boxes, then moving to the cross to kneel and touch it. Many were praying and in tears when they left.
After we left that church we shopped some, and she took me to another church a few blocks away. This church was also operating, and easily seats 1500+ persons. My squeeze stopped and chatted a robed gent, who spoke no english. She translated that he said the church runs 5 masses a day. 6 days per week, always full, and 7 masses on Sunday. This church also had an anteroom with plexiglass case containing papal stuff, and a life-size cross / jesus (upright) , with another large line of poor pilipino dropping a few pesos in the 'contribution' box.
This thing of lining up to get into church, or to pay / pray at the cross, by the thousands, was my first real insight into the devoutness of roman catholics. Given the large number of (physically large) catolic churches in Manila, its probably an understatement that tens of thousands of filipinos (possibly many times that number) are making their way to church on any given day. So THAT'S where all those asians are going!
I'm guessing the mexicans are in the same mode.

The feds also closed down the IRMA hotel for prostitution of minors. There have been local groups trying to take the SGs off the streets for years but with no luck. Some say the club owners are putting on the heat to get patrons to frequent higher priced bars versus the lower priced SGs. Anything is possible but what is for certain is the GAME continues on. It's called a sweep. Keeps everybody on their toes.

I have to admit I was SCARED leading up to this trip I have never been outside of the USA and have read and heard all the stores about violence and police abuse in Mexico. None of this mattered to me as I did not come to Tijuana to watch TV or watch Porn (which I hate) I came to Tijuana to fuck. If you are a light sleeper however the noise may be a problem as it is noisy in the room 24 hours a day from the bar down below. I did not think exchanging dollars for Pesos was really that much of a benefit as everyone seemed to be aware of what the current exchange rate was. All of the bar chicas would raise their price as soon as I said I had pesos even the street chicas would raise their price I only found two or three of the street chicas did not raise their prices when I told them I had pesos. All in all I really didn't see much of a benefit to using pesos and probably wouldn't bother doing it at all in the future.
I ate almost exclusively off of the street carts which could be found 24 hours a day the food was good cheap at $1 a taco, filling and I never once felt sick. I stayed almost entirely in the zone and really never left it. From calle Coahuila to constitution to callejon Coahuila (the ally) to ninos heroes. If all you want to do is fuck there really isn't any reason to leave this area, its not that large and can easily be circled. I found the bathroom attendants at all of the bars would sell Viagra but at a very large price $17 to $20 a pill, I'm sure it was all the generic kind but that really isn't a problem for me as the generics have always worked good for me. There are pharmacies on Revolution who will also sell Viagra and you can probably get the real thing there if you want. The one I used was really close if you take calle Coahuila past Constitution one block over to Revolution turn right and then one block up next to the 7/11 looking building there is a pharmacy that will sell you generic at $4 a pill no prescription needed. I tried it and it worked fine for me. I felt very safe in the zone never once felt unsafe there were plenty of police around and though I was a little worried about them I was never once stopped by them or harassed by them. There are many baggers and many hawkers trying to get you into their clubs you can just walk right buy them and ignore them they are used to it. There were ATM machines at the entrance to all of the clubs.
The Hong Kong was so much fun the women there are incredible, top of the shelf. My Spanish is really bad so the conversation was limited to me asking them their name telling them my name asking where they were from telling them where I was from, telling them I thought they were beautiful, that I liked them and asking how much for sex, asking if I could eat there pussy which was done more in sign language as I didn't know how to say that is Spanish, and asking if they would give a blow job without a condom. I didn't try to bargain real hard with them but the prices were $80 a couple even wanted $90 but these were some top shelf truly gorges women. I started avoiding HK on my last day as all of the women I had fucked kept coming over wanting tips wanting lady drinks and wanting me to take them back up. These lady drinks and tips can drain your money real fast. I think in the future I may just pass through looking for the one I want go right up to her and try to seal the deal avoiding any lady drinks. Or just sit there order a drink and waive away any one until I see the one I want maybe get her one lady drink and seal the deal.
The Chicago Club is just as everyone said it was, slow. I went there once in the middle of the day and didn't get past the front as there was no one else in there and the women that I could see did not look all that good. I went back at night and it was a little better but still slow. The women there at night were ok some were attractive and very doable but not quite as hot as the HK girls. Stay out of Nana Entertainment Plaza!Why? I've had many great times there. I do prefer Soi Cowboy because it's for the most part raunchier and the girls are less expensive (in general, not every case) , but Nana can be fun. To many the Ticuan is better value and if I hung out at Las Pulgas or Amnesia I would probably stay there. Someone on the board had asked where there was a good hotel real close to the action. IMHO the best hotel close to the action for me is Hacienda Del Santiago for many reasons, so I answered that post with my recommendation (which had nothing to do with "value"), which was immediately responsed with the Ticuan was a great value because the peso / dollar ratio is so good now. My post was a response to that because based upon the statement that the value was due to the peso / dollar ratio. 325 pesos is in fact better than 650 pesos.
I agree full heartedly that the Ticuan is a much nicer hotel with nicer beds and towels and everything else. But I drive into Tijuana when I go there. Sometimes from the USA and sometimes from the toll road from Mexicali. HDS has safe guarded parking and I have never had a problem there. I take many afternoon shift women from AB, HK and especially from Chicago to my hotel when they get off work and they spend a few hours or all night with me. I like to take naps in the day (as I am an old fart) and I like to make several passes through the clubs during all times of the day and night. I don't want to be taking that many taxis and I certainly don't want to walk back and forth from 8th street and the action area that many times a day (once again I am an old fart) which would probably be more dangerous than the one block walk from HDS.
Most of the rooms in HDS have kitchettes which gives me a place to keep my beer / tequila cold and a stove to light when it gets cold. She was banned from coming to the US as she was deported three previous times.
So, to sum it up, I hope this gives you a good idea as to how difficult things can be if you think about having a relationship.

ThanksI have found that you need to get to know the gal and allow her to get to know you. I have had my best luck at Chicago Club but have also had some from AB and HK. After I have been upstairs with a gal one or two times (it depends on the chemistry) I will usually have their cell phone number. While buying a few ficha drinks I ask them to spend the night with me. I am an old fart so I usually deal with the afternoon shift gals that get off of work between 8 and 10 pm. Otherwise you will be waiting until 3, 4.5 or 6 am for them get off of work which doesn't leave much time for an overnighter. The bottom line is that she went from one job to the next, thinking that the next one would be the ticket. Unfortunately, due to the crappy economic condition of Mexico and lousy pay, etc. This girl could not make enough to live on her own. This resulted in me picking up the tab for many years. Of course this included buying her a car at about $7, 000 that broke down after about 6 months, paying hospital bills for her and her children. And the story goes on and on.
It is very difficult for Mexican women, especially such as her, without a high school diploma to get any legitimate, decent paying job in Mexico. That's just the way it is. They hire young, pretty 18 year olds to work as waitresses, in grocery stores, etc. Before they will hire any older woman. It's just a sad, pitiful reality that will never change. She was banned from coming to the US as she was deported three previous times.
So, to sum it up, I hope this gives you a good idea as to how difficult things can be if you think about having a relationship.You got off easy. I know guys that have bought homes. These women know how to stroke a man's ego.

I just saw HIV on yahoo main page and notices that statistically you're safer in Mexico than you are here in the US. This place is HUGE, it's the largest club I've ever been in and I've been in a lot of clubs. It is probably the size of 4 football fields. The drinks are CHEAP! Just like any club it is hit or miss with the ladies, I've never got lucky there but I'm super super picky and the one time I had this girl like in love with me my wing man told me she left even though she told me she was going to the bathroom and not to leave I was dumb and listened to him and left only to find out she came back later and he was dancing with the whole group of girls, horrible wing man. New Body is a great chill bar, they have dos equis amber which is the closest thing to decent beer I have found in Mexico. It's 40 for 1 hour in room with girls plus what the girls charge which is usually around 100 depending on what you want. They've had some smoking hot blondes there the last couple times though. For a real massage just walk down revolution, there is a place that is 3 blocks before the big arch on Las Pulgas side of the road. It has glass front and doors so it's hard to miss. I've gotten the best massages in my life there, seriously I never though Mexican massage would be asian but for me definitely does. I think it was like 30-40 / hour well worth it.
Don't go to a steak house or seafood place, you're in mexico! TACO STANDS! I can't tell you how many times I have the urge for the taco's over there. Nothing will compare to Chicago, so why not get something that you can't get in Chicago. Trust me you can not get authentic mexican taco's anywhere in the midwest I have tried. I love pastor tacos but there's this taco cart outside las pulgas that you ask for camarones quesadilla and it is unbelievable. I also liked the tripe tacos a lot but after a few days of eating them I realized I wasn't eating the beef I thought I was and it ruined it for me.
Massage. Go to VivaMex on Revolucion and Calle 4. Ask for Daniella
Steaks. Lots of great places. Start with "El Rodeo" on Aguas Calientes. Also "El Remedio" on Blvd de los heroes next to plaza rio and el camino real hotel.
I heard from one of my HK favoritas that she would be working an early evening shift, so I got to HK about 7pm Saturday. Got a beer and made a lap around and didn't see her anywhere, so I thought maybe she's in the ladies room, so I got a seat and watched the dancers, still no favorite around by my second beer. She's flaked before so I wasn't entirely shocked, oh well, it did give me a chance to watch a new chica I hadn't seen before. For seafood, La Palapa is pretty decent. Diagnoally opposite Hong Kong. NW corner of Coahuila and Ninos Heroes. Also, Negro Durazo in the Zona Rio is pretty good. VERY busy on weekends.
For steak, fuggedaboudit. Mexican steak doesn't hold a candle to what's available here, especially in Chicago. Stick with the Mexican food. Keep an eye out for homemade tamales. This is the time of year they tend to come out, and you may be lucky to see somebody selling them on the street. Nothing better.
There is not lots to see in Tijuana proper, but lots to see outside of town. For a "who knew?" experience, visit the wineries inland of Ensenada for a day.

Now would be a good time alot of foreclosures there, but I guess the main thing to consider as far as location would be work.I've been eyeing outside sales positions in Southern CA. So regardless of where I live I would probably be next to the border almost once a week. I kind of think it would work great because I could get a cheap ass apartment and work my ass of during the week and hop over the border for the weekends. In my head it's the perfect thing, but I'm just not sure which head is really making that decision. I love the climate and area and if it weren't for border wait times I'd probably live in Tijuana just for cheaper better housing. We'll see that is my back up plan as of now, wife got sick of me running away all the time so we're at a crossroads with continuing things or not. Even if they say they don't care if you're with other women eventually they start caring. I have my finger on the trigger waiting to call and snatch up this particular job so only time will tell.

Believe it or not, my favorite place in Tijuana is the Chicago Club. This place was great over 5 years ago. Had its share of professional hard core prostitutas but there were always some girls that would go out after work or on their days off for a good time. Even though it is now slower than hell, there is still some fun to be had later in the night there. Unlike AB, which I think is a total hustle most of the time, Chicago has always been a lot mellower in my estimation. The music they play in Chicago is 10 times better than the ranchera or banda they play all the time in AB.
I would love to see Chicago come back to its glory days. I have taken some of the girls that work there to Ensenada, Rosarito (Papas and Beer) , Las Pulgas, movie theaters, restaurants, etc. Speaking of restaurants in Tijuana, the ones that the girls seem to like most are Negra Durrazo (near Zona Rio) , Los Arcos and Los Pinos. These are all seafood places that are very good. The Negra Durrazo is a great place to buy a couple of cubetas (small beers in a pail) and watch people. This place is owned by the Sinaloa Cartel so you can always count on some colorful characters in the place. I've never been to a steakhouse in Tijuana.

For many years the last thing I would do before leaving the US was eat, and the first thing I would do when I got back was eat. I always had that mis conception you better not eat down in Mexico in order to avoid getting sick. I certainly would have never thought of eating off one of those taco carts. The best Mexican food I have ever had I have found off the beaten path at places that are half taco carts half open air restraunts on some back street. And I have not got sick yet.
As far as the buffet at El Camino Real just wondering about the hours. If I were to check out of the Hotel around 11 and head over there I do like to sit at a good buffet for maybe a couple hours and take my time eating. I hate to get interrupted by them starting to shut the buffet down so if you happen to know the hours of the buffet that would be helpful.

The second time I went I did not enjoy myself. I tried going to sleep early to get up in time and wound up not sleeping well. You can't do a buffet when you are tired.

I think people who enjoy mongering in Tijuana do so for several reasons. The over all party vibe keeps me coming back. It is nice to be someplace where people are happy for the most part and are having a good time regardless of their situation. This is what Tijuana represents to me.
There are definitely better deals to be had in other places but when you look at the big picture Tijuana is a hoot. The whole "ordeal" is a trip.

I tried this buffet a couple times, it's ok but I wouldn't rave about it. I did really like the flan there though, the chips are pretty good I'm guessing they're home made. It still doesn't compete with a high end buffet in the states. I think you really need to just do the mexican food thing, I've had tenderloin and filets in Tijuana and although they weren't bad they were far from a Ruth's Chris. But 9 times out of 10 I would prefer a taco over a filet at ruth's chris which is saying a lot because of the cost difference. I've eaten at restaurants which cabbies told me this is the best place in Tijuana you have to try it and I couldn't even finish my meal it was so eh. I think starting with taco's is your safest bet to easing into authentic mexican food. Not everything is going to taste great. One of my favorites is ceviche at Ticuan hotel. I ate at applebees last time and it was surprisingly good and different. I only say surprisingly because I ate at one in South Korea and it taste like shit. How 5 minutes outside of the country can change the food is beyond me but it was different than the US but a good different. Also Applebees in Tijuana is like where you go to impress someone, the girl I was with picked it.

My first trip to Tijuana the wingman booked us at the El Camino Real. At $85. 00 for the room, at that time, and it is no where near Ticuan quality. I found the buffet to be underwhelming. I'm sure that if you took a lady there she would be impressed though. I think the buffet at Sanborn's is very similar, and also boring.
I go to Tijuana for the difference in cultures as much as anything. Well, almost as much as banging hot Latina's. I can bang ladies all day in southern California for $120-$140, and they are smokin' hot, especially the Korean's. Take your pick Latina or Asian. Once women get to the USA it doesn't take long until they pick up the Gringa mentality that there poosie is gold, and you ain't sh*t, hurry up. Tijuana being close to the USA many of the ladies have picked up on the vibe, but there are always many who are still fresh off the farm. IMO, the better sessions are away from HK, or AB, unless you have a history with the lady.
For mongering, IMO, the farther away from the USA the better the sessions. I just returned from Medellin and not only would the ladies there be 10+'s, but they are very sweet and love s*x. Supersteve I may have seen you, not a lot of those hats floating around the gultch. I totally agree with everything you say, but for some reason I still like Tijuana the most but maybe when I get a little older that will change. The reason I don't like places like Thailand are it is just too easy. In the Philippines when I went out I would wear what I would playing poker with the guys and models like upper class models would walk up to me and start talking because of the color of my eyes and skin I guess. I need a bit of a challenge, I still enjoy a bit of a drawn out conquer at a normal club than just picking out something from a meat buffet. I like Costa Rica a lot too but even there it was a little on the easy side, Tijuana just seems like the US version of best possible night with great ratio and your game is on. Actually there is a law that prohibits crossing anywhere other than an official port of entry. If you cross elsewhere and they catch you, you may wind up spending a night or two in jail, getting fined, and getting a misdemeanor conviction and a criminal record. Not a very bright idea, if you ask me.

I could definitely see them telling me to go back, but if you're not a felon there isn't a reason to be worried. I also have a feeling that this is about as legal as warning you not to go to mexico. You certainly will not be getting arrested. It probably would screw up a sentri pass, but from the times I have crossed those don't really seem all that useful.

About 8 months ago I had acceptable services, neither good nor bad. I don't remember what I paid but it wasn't out of line.
About 5 months ago I had very good results. The 2 girl massage was $35 for the hour (I think). After about 10 minutes I dismissed one of the girls and had FS with the other for about $50. Excellent performance.

Just got back from Tijuana earlier today. Didn't see any lingering sign of the raid from Friday night, everything normal. Walked around the club at 8:30pm, about 20-30 girls were there. Saw three I liked and on my second circle around chatted with one I liked, from Mexicali. She was friendly and I asked her upstairs rather than buy drinks. Paid $12 for the room, paid her $70, and she said she'd give me a massage. She turned out to be really good at it, with her warm pussy sitting on top of my ass as she took her time. What follows is a brief guide for anyone new to Tijuana. It's only based off my experience over a few years as a SD local plus from friends I've shared info with. Thanks to everyone else who's helped all these years on this forum.
Itinerary. If you just want to fuck for money using the minimal time possible with no other hassles (MFM. Minimal Fuck for Money) , this is a bare bones step by step guide for beginners!
1) Drive towards the border on freeway 5 and exit the last exit (exit 1A). Pay attention to the freeway signs as you near the 3 mile mark where it lists all the exits. Take the last one, which will be labeled as "last exit USA". BTW, exit 1B is the second to last exit, so don't worry about passing it. Use google maps if you're not good with exits.
2) After you exit the freeway, choose a parking lot. I prefer going straight at the intersection, and making a right into the parking lot there. It's $10 which is more than other places, but the closest lot possible (I. E. Least walking distance). There are other lots of course as low as $4 you can walk from or take a shuttle. Take your ticket as you enter and leave it in your car when you park. Personally, I'd recommend getting to the border around 8pm if you're not sure. I also recommend only taking what you need, and if it's an MFM you're looking for then just take your Passport / driver's license, cash, car keys, and maybe even a cell phone (if you must). Just my opinion but I strongly recommend you don't take ATM or Credit Cards, any other form of I'd (business cards, etc.) , valuables, anything possibly considered a weapon, etc.
3) Walk to the sidewalk and head towards the border turnstile. Follow everyone else and you'll see. After the turnstile you'll be in the "neutral zone", and eventually walk through a second set of turnstiles. Keep going straight and you'll soon be at the taxi area which is full of taxis and guys dressed in black asking if you need a taxi. Say yes or si.
4) Tell them which bar you want to go to. I suggest Adelitas Bar as your first stop by default, both because it's good and because they're unlikely to mishear you say it. The fare is typically $5, sometimes $6. Most of this pays for the gasoline. You can sit in the back of the cab like most tourists, or sit in the front like most locals. Doesn't make a difference.
5) The red light zone is going to be a few blocks from the giant arch, but the taxi has to take an indirect route to get there both because of the streety layout and to avoid traffic. It'll be just under 5 minutes without traffic. You'll know you're getting close as you see lots of large neon signs and people milling. If by any chance you see a swarm of cops / federal agents herding people so they can be searched and checked, it's a raid and you're out of luck. Go back to America or anywhere else in Tijuana.
6) If you chose Adelitas, there will be a huge sign saying "Adelitas". Walk straight through the curtained door.
7) Circle the club inside and every time you see a girl you like make a mental note of where they are and keep count. When you make a full circle, there are three possible numbers in your head. If Zero, go to another club like Hong Kong. If One, pick that girl. If More than One, pick one girl for now with the other girls as backup.
8) Don't be afraid, walk up to the girl you choose and say Hello, or hola. Doesn't matter which. She might speak a lot of English, or zero English. Doesn't matter which. Spend 0 to 5 minutes chatting with her, but no more than that or you're likely to be asked to buy yourself a beer and buy her a drink by the waiters at Adelitas. Of course, some people do prefer this but this is an MFM guide. Instead, ask her if she's available to go upstairs with you and she will obviously say yes. If it's your first time with this girl, you might want to confirm the price she charges at this point. Most girls charge $60 or less, but certainly some nice girls charge more like $70 or $80.
9) Follow her out the front door and go next door to the hotel on the left. Go upstairs, pay the nice guy $12. She'll get her purse from that guy, and you guys go to your room to fuck.
10) Pay her and get your clothes off. If you're a virgin, look up a guide on how to fuck. If not, then fuck. You'll generally get a blow job and sex in any position you prefer, but of course some girls are better than others.
11) Shower and use the bathroom in the room if you prefer, and get your clothes back on. If you want to fuck another girl, have your rest and go to step 7. Otherwise, proceed to step 12.
12) Outside Adelitas, say you want a taxi and enter the taxi at the front of the taxi line. Say you want to go to the border, and he'll take you.
13) You'll exit standing next to the freeway, on the Mexican side of the border. Walk paralell to the freeway along the narrow corridor to the immigration checkpoint, about 3 minutes away. I suggest you don't stop for any reason no matter how much some stranger may ask you for money or offer you something. Who cares if some lady opened the door to your taxi for you (which happened today's trip and a previous one) , don't give her money just politely ignore her. Sadly, I also have to mention a small warning that occasionally there have been police shakedowns right at this location very late at night (ex. Past midnight). But just walk calmly and directly to the border station and you'll be fine, especially it's still before midnight with the mass migratio going on.
14) At the immigration check, wait in line until it's your turn. Present your passport or driver's license. They might ask you a simple question, so give them a simple and correct answer and you should be fine to pass. Example quetions are: What are you bringing? (today's question) What's your name? (if they ask a second time, give the same answer) What did you do in Tijuana? (answer: visited the bars) Don't joke, don't be disrespectful, don't make this take any longer than it has to because this is an MFM guide!
15) Find the parking lot you parked at. The one I mentioned is going to be across the freeway, which you can use the pedestrian bridge or walk the long way around to get to. The sign for the bridge says "to Mexico" but that doesn't mean you must go to Mexico if you use it. Either way, the freeway is your best reference if you get disoriented for any reason.
16) Get back on the 5 freeway, being careful not to go 5 South (the wrong way) and cross into Mexico. There's a warning sign for that particular route.
Total cost for the above trip is going to end up about $90-$100, depending on the options you chose.
Some notes for beginners:
* If you just want a MFM, park and walk. Don't drive through the border. Driving through generally takes much longer and has other disadvantages. If you want to stay overnight or bring girls to your own hotel room, there are some great tips in this thread on that.
* Don't hang around outdoors in the red light district any longer than you have to. This is especially true after midnight when there aren't many people around. Inside the clubs is the safest place to be in that part of town. Tijuana is not very dangerous, but it's also not exactly safe. The main dangers are drunk locals with guns (like the murder of the bouncer just a few weeks ago) , pickpockets, and cops looking for a shakedown (like yesterday during the raid).
* If you want mexican food, the best places are outside the red light district as well as in other towns further south.
Lastly, practice safe sex. Condoms are standard in Tijuana but some guys and even girls will go without it. This is your choice of course, but allow me to dissuade anyone else who might be on the fence about it. If you're already made up my mind, just ignore and skip what I'm about to say:
* If you don't wear condoms, you will get Chlamydia and / or Gonorrhea sooner or later in Tijuana. For about half of men, it's asymptomatic meaning you'll never know until you get a girlfriend or get married. She'll see a doctor and then tell you to see a doctor too. For the other half of men, it isn't asymptomatic meaning you'll have pain and sickness as well as a different kind of embarrassment coming out of you. If left untreated this way for long enough, it can cause infertility in both men and women by causing extreme inflammation of the reproductive tracts. In any case, you'll have to go to a doctor or clinic sooner or later to get it diagnosed. BTW there are several 100% free clinics in SD, and those are actually the best. If diagnosed, they'll give you antibiotics. That might not work because of resistance (which is common these days) , so they'll give you a different antibiotics. You'll probably be cured after 1 or 2 tries, but there are some strains that are hard or even incurable with common antibiotics. Long explanation I know, but just keeping it real.
* The rate of AIDS in Mexico and among sex worker is low, but not zero. Up to you. This is a situation of small risk high penalty, aka getting a raffle ticket each time you do something stupid. In any case, if you don't use condoms hopefully you'll just get Chlamydia and Gonorrhea instead.
* Almost all the workers in Tijuana shave, so the risk of crabs is low. Crabs are the best STD because you can cure them over the counter, but until diagnosed you will spread them to anyone else you have sex with and they'll have to cure it too. There can be weeks of lag between infection and symptoms as the eggs hatch and begin to literally suck your blood for nourishment. Crabs are white or red (after a meal) and cling on to your pubic hair. But don't shave yourself bare just yet read on!
* The main STD that condoms don't work for is genital herpes. People with genital herpes have breakouts of red bumps in the genital area, and during this time they are the most infectuous. However, there is no guarantee the lack of symptoms means you can't get it because the breakouts aren't 1 to 1 with the chance of infection, but a visual check is still your best option. In any case, several studies suggest that shaving your pubes bare may increase the chance of contracting herpes, both through tiny cuts on your skin and the lack of pubes itself. In conclusion, herpes is a virus, and it is 100% incurable because it burrows into your nervous system. If you get it, you get it for life and wil have periodic breakouts more or less once a year. Fortunately, there are dating sites for people with herpes, to find other people with herpes to date and marry.
* In conclusion although practicing safe sex is no guarantee, it's better by several orders of magnitude. You will have less worry, less risk, and probably no less fun this way.

traveler x, thanks for the detailed checklist. it would probably be a good idea for anyone taking there first tijuana trip to zona norte to print out the checklist and take it with them. unfourtunatly when i made my first trip to tijuana info like this was not available. after finishing sex with a beautiful chica i didn't follow all the informatiom provided in step #11 and i proceeded to leave the hotel without putting my cloth back on. shortly after leaving the hotel i was detained by the policia. they made me drive around naked in the back of one of those pick up trucks with other criminals for hours. needless to say my first tijuana adventure was a disaster, however it has not stopped me from returning many times.

Great report and hit on all cylinders, in regards to #11 when ever you take your clothes off never and I mean never let them out of your sight, you may be missing a few things. This has happened to me once but never again. I used to stay at Zaragoza and before I did anything I excused myself and went to my car and put wallet money in the trunk, and in the morn. I would come and get what I needed. Tipped and said ADIOS.
As you can tell this was a many moons ago, but still holds true, keep your eye out for those little (moscas) fly's.

There is a new place on the corner of 3rd and Ave. Revolucion, is right below the animale club, the massage is descent and the facilities are brand new, they give you a 45 min session for $25. 00 and then it goes up, sorry, no extra services.This is probably a really stupid question, and horrible for my first post, but I can't find 3rd on google maps. Hi gents,
Recently I have become a little semi-retired from the active mongering scene, part of the reason being that I was MIA for a little while on business travel.
Glad to see so much activity and story sharing around here.
Tonight I went down to adelitas with the hope of seeing my favorita working, but she being a flaky person, wasnt too surprised not to see her at work, but surprisingly, this other blonde spinner came up to me, and exchanged some typical "I love you, you are my bf" type of BS. I wasnt going to fall for crap like this, but got really surprised when she started frenching me. AFAIK, adelitas girls don't typically do that, and I doubt she was drunk at that time.

The streets have names but the locals call them by number from the old days. 1st was the 1st main street from the border, etc.

In mid November I spent 8 days of hard core mongering in Tijuana, sorry for the delay in this report. Some with SG, some with BG, plus a bit of time in the Mermaids massage joint. I've visited Tijuana several times over the last few years but this was only my 3rd visit that lasted more than a day or two.
8 days of Viagra is not a good thing. It worked every time but by the end of the visit I had a pretty bad headache that didn't end until about 36 hours after my last Viagra. On the other hand, it allowed me 3 pops a day instead of my normal limit of 1 pop a day. Next time I have that much time in Tijuana I'll take a mongering break in the middle.
The clothes I wore might have affected the price I paid, but I'm really not sure. The first few days I wore nicer clothes and seemed to be getting higher price quotes from the SGs. The last few days I wore work clothes, like used Dickies, and prices may have been a little lower. But maybe the prices dropped because the same street girls kept seeing me for 8 days and many knew that they hadn't extracted any money from me yet. On the other hand, I think nicer clothes work a little better in HK and AB. In the future I will probably wear nicer clothes, like khakis and nice shirt. I will never be mistaken for a Mexican, so I won't qualify for the local discount.
Pesos and dollars are both accepted by everyone in the area. We had some debate about the exchange rate and we agreed to disagree. I'm convinced that when a girl quotes a price in dollars (say, $60) and you offer a 10:1 ratio (say. 600 Mex) , she knows that US quote is higher but she looks at it as negotions of a lower price to get the business.
Out of about 10 street girls that I experienced, there were two that were better than the rest. First was Rosie from the east end of the alley on the north side of the street. Very personable and excellent service. She also worked with a better hotel than most of the others. Second was Denise from the west side of Constitution, just a few steps above the alley. She has a very sweet personality and made a good effort to speak in English and learn a new word or two from me.
