Where was Border Patrol? Arent they a block away? The San Ysidro McDonald's Massacre happened over 30 years ago.

I doubt that they had much inter-agency co-ordination back then.

They still might not have much now between CBP (California Border Protection) and something that arises instantly which is a matter for local municipal law enforcement.

Was living in Oceanside at the time, and remember mom saying we are not going to Mac Donalds for awhile. The border area was so different back then. Mom would take us to Tijuana to shop and have fun. Never thought later in life I would be going there to love on some brown pussy.

Part of our wonderfully efficient Homeland Security apparatus. They love to swagger around in their combat boots and fancy sidearms, but I wonder what they'd really do if another whack-job like that Huberty character showed up. I'm sure some of them are steely-eyed studs, but it seems an inordinate number either haven't seen their feet in a couple of decades or are DMV rejects.

http://www.cbp.gov/about/historyJejeje. You are correct, sir!

Which got me to wondering. If these guys are protecting us from eeevil drug smugglers and the like, why is it even easier to buy drugs now than it was when I was, say, in high school in the '70's?

Are officials on both sides of the border being bribed? I don't mean one or two. Just idle thoughts.

After a couple hours of reading in room, time for a walk-about. Peeked into Adelitas (nothing), HK (not much), and wound up at a little hole in the wall around the corner from Adelitas (right out of Adelita's, around corner, past Glorita's or similar, next place I think, walking toward alley). Pretty much a shithole place but the hawker out front had been polite and friendly when I'the walked by earlier so I went in to be polite in return and have a cheap beer. Here comes Sara. Slender, pretty in face, good English (my Spanish is OK but so much easier if they do Ingles). Sara was eager, outgoing and I figured she deserved a fiche. Did I say she was slender? After I bought her a beer the inside hustler tells me "$48 for bucket of beer and private room with everything" and various suggestions of sexual delights. For reasons unknown, after conferring with Sara, I agreed. Got an extra beer for me and what the hell are you kidding me? The private room was separated from main bar by glass windows. We could see out but bar patrons could not see in. I think. Anyhow, good gawd, assuming I'the agreed to something that I'the regret, I was stunned at how quickly events heated up. Sara's children have wreaked havoc on her 31 yr old body (saggy tatas, wrinkled belly) but the whole thing was just the right combo of seedy and sexy. We went at it like drunk monkeys and I was past point of no return when I realized it was all bareback (oops). Anyhow, no symptoms yet. Check back with me in a month or a decade. We washed up with water from bottom of ice bucket (classy, eh?) and no indications that the guys at table just outside were watching us when I gazed out at them. This was among my top 5 seedy / sexy encounters around the world ever, right up there with a few in Jakarta, Gili Islands, Vietnam and wrong side of tracks as a kid 50 years ago.

Out the door, money well spent, ready for another beer or two and nap before Fri night. Dinner at little place in alley that is part of HK, Cascadas empire (starts with "P", right next to Cascadas, Praga maybe). Had coffee there Fri morning. Nice people, good food, 50% off with coupon from hotel check-in. Then walked area a bit, Friday night VERY different than Thurs. Adelitas and HK jammed. Chicago empty. Enjoyed couple beers in HK including free one with card they'the given me earlier and was amazed at so many flat bellies. Far better quality than I remember. But nothing tripped my trigger, at least not for the money they'd want. It had been good day. Keep my money and go home early again. But damned if a SG did not accost me outside. Lily. Said she usually works over by corner near Glorita's (around corner from Adelitas). Perfect English, kind of pretty, certainly playful and eager. Said she's American, assume hiding out in Tijuana. Too good to be true. But I took the bait. I thought she said $25. In room it became 35. OK, maybe I did not hear well. Showered, no hurry, very pleasant. Nearly stuck her arm up her arse to elbow while washing so clean seemed likely. In bed she's equally enthusiastic, gets off on the DATY. Said she really likes anal (I don't, not much). Recites something about $65 for anal and $45 for "sex" which I translate to a recitation of normal rates for vaginal and anal. She asks for Hershey Highway so I oblige her, not for me. Then she reminds me of prices. OK, I'm done. Sorry, babe, I'm not ordering ala carte from your menu. You can go. I had given her $40 (the 35 plus advance tip in my view). She changed tune, made excuses, apologized and said "finish you off BJ, you pay me what you want". Fine, take off the cover. She did and she was good. Annoyed as I was with her, my dick was very happy. I gave her another 200 pesos and reminded myself it could have been worse.

Final comments. Most beautiful girl I saw was bartender Friday afternoon at the little place I mentioned where Tomas, the Americano, worked (sorry I did not notice bar name; 2 small Coronas for 30 pesos). This 28 yr old from Oaxaca who says she just tends bar and would not even agree to meet after work for dinner or drink (she works til 6 pm and has 3 yr old, lives with Hermana). Lord I'the pay big just to see her undress. Dark skin, beautiful teeth, visible hair on her forearms and lower back so got to be a wonderful Bush down below. My eyes are glazing over now. Oh well, maybe you young guys can make progress. Her name is Lourdes, goes by LuLu. And finally, finally, got taxi to border Saturday morning, 30 minutes to cross at 9:30 ish, total damage $110 for room, 1000 pesos for double stroke of Carina including 100 to her alleged room obligation, about $50 each for the Sara and Lily encounters, equiv of 50 to 100 bucks for food and alcohol, and back to SD for nice day before heading north for biz on Sunday. Back to Texas midnight Sunday. All's well unless irrational exuberance with my afternoon delight has delayed consequences. Tijuana is fun again. Saw lots of policia but all seemed for show. No masks and AKs in back of technical. Just clean cop cars and motorcycles. Presume drug lords have taken over area as they diversify their biz?Sara did like you. I went upstairs with her once and she was too busy trying to milk every last dime out of me to let go and have fun. It felt like screwing my accountant.

The McDonalds that formerly was in San Ysidro was the site of a horrible mass murder.

That McDonalds was torn down and that piece of real estate is now a park.

The current McDonalds on the US side is an entirely new building in a new location.I deleted this post because It was so long ago and maybe no body would remember it, Yes I found out that the building was demolish, I was inside a Mcdonalds on this area with family about 4 years ago and I thought it was the same building.

Anyway Thank you for clarifying.

1984 I was finishing High School and used to pay 29 cents for Mcdonalds cheeseburger and smoked my marlboros inside the restaurant and gas was cheap cheap at 0. 89 cents a gallon to fill my 1970 Ford Maverick, I used to buy my music cassettes in Gemco, then Fedco now you call it Costco I got my CDL in 1984 I was 17 no Viagra needed.

Explanation: A music cassette is a rectangle plastic frame with audio tape usually brown in color it had a winding system spinning from one side to the other this flexible plastic tape runs against a magnet called the head which it is part of a cassette player and sound would come thru the speakers of a huge boom box. Please don't ask me what is an 8 track. LOL.

My cell phone was a big glass phone booth with a big fat phone book with missing address pages, This metal caged phone book was attached to a metal cable bolted to the phone booth structure. Calls were 10 cents and the operator was always in the middle of your call asking you where do you want to call or asking you for more $ and searching Google was out of the question!!

Sorry for the late report guys. Been busy at work but here is my trip report for my maiden visit to Tijuana.

About myself first. I am in early 40's and I have mongered in at least 15 countries with over 40 trips under my belt in the last 10 years. I had a wingman KC on this trip.

Flew into San Diego on Friday night. 992 bus to Santa fe station. Blue line trolley to San Ysidro. Then crossing the border on foot. Then $5 taxi to HK club. Everything went as expected, after reading the forum. Took us about 2 hours from the airport to reaching the HK.

Bought the VIP card. Checked in at Cascadas, quick shower and we hit the HK club. I was expecting it to be busy on Friday night around 11:30 but this was outrageous. Wall to wall guys. Not as many girls. Good looking girls were scarce. Could not even walk. So much smoke inside. Being a non-smoker, I could not even breathe. KC is a smoker so he was fine. Needless to say, it took me a bit to get used to it.

This forum has everything you need to know. Nothing new to add but I will put my observations here. After reading the forum, I was pretty prepared for the trip but I agree and disagree with a few things I read so here we go -.

After reading the forum, I was uneasy, even a bit scared, about dealing with maseros but IMHO, it's all blown out of proportion. I spent 6-8 hours everyday at HK. Nobody bothered me for drinks at all. If I didn't want to order a drink, I just waived them off. If I had a girl sitting with me, I bought her a drink. Now, it was up to her to drink as fast or as slow as she wanted. Most girls took their reasonable time and I only really needed about 5-10 minutes. To make up my mind. Was not hassled by maseros at all. Only problem was that there were too many maseros. So if you have an empty bottle on your table, someone will keep asking you to buy a drink but I kept saying NO until I was ready to buy one.

On a busy night, if you like a girl, talk to her immediately otherwise it'll be too late. Girl's ratio is so low to guys that twice I saw a girl and by the time I walked to her, she was taken. Even in the matter of seconds. Fridays and saturdays, I think there are 10 guys for every girl in HK. They should get more girls in there.

IMHO, Other than in HK, I didn't see even one doable girl in any of the other clubs including Adelita, Las chevalas, Tropical etc. I went every night to look around but I didn't find anything out of Hong Kong at night. Hong Kong is the best bet for better looking girls.

I am very picky with girls. I took 5 girls from HK. I paid $80 each for 4 and $100 for the 5th one. I know $100 but she was a complete knock out and possible the best looking girl I had seen in Tijuana. I just couldn't pass. But it seemed like $80 was the norm for younger good looking girls.

While walking around in day time, we found a massage parlor. Guy sitting outside pretty much begged us to come in. Reluctantly, we walked in and saw a 9 sitting there. Beautiful face and body, 19 year old, braces, all natural. We literally had a fight over who'll go first. So I guess, you never know what you are going to find where.

In total, I did 8 girls and I did not have a bad session in Tijuana. Girls were pretty eager to please.

Food and drinks are pretty cheap if you are not in clubs.

We didn't fear for our safety or felt threatened anywhere we walked. Day and Night.

In the end, no complains. We will go back and actually planning to be there next month again. Pretty reasonably priced fun.

Fellow mongers,

Wanted to bring up a point and get everyone's input. The Dollar has been steadily climbing in recent weeks vs other currencies and now stand at 14 Peso to the Dollar. It used to be 12 to 1 late last year. So why haven't the prices for the commodities go down? Of course I know the answer: They don't give a $h1+ and want to make more money.

The beer is still $5 at the clubs. Taxi is still $5. Club girls still ask for $80 to start (They will go down to $60 quicker recently that I've noticed). SG still at $20 for 15 min. I'm assuming that the prices in Peso haven't gone up recently with the climb in the Dollar so here's my breakdown in savings if I exchanged to Pesos.

Commodity / Savings.

Beer & Taxi / $0. 71 each.

Chica at $60 / $8. 57 ($11.43 if you paid $80).

SG at $20 / $3. 57.

It's looking more favorable every time I go down to just exchange into Pesos. Unless someone can enlighten me by saying the prices in Pesos have also gone up? My questions is: Would the people that said it was a hassle before have a change of heart now? Thoughts?

My questions is: Would the people that said it was a hassle before have a change of heart now? Thoughts?True commodities, like beef and butter, have been experiencing price (in pesos) increases in Tijuana.

Gasoline prices in free markets have declined, but gasoline prices in Mexico are not set directly by market forces. Instead the Pemex monopoly scheduled gasoline prices to gradually increase as they sought to move towards gradual reductions in national subsidies enjoyed by Mexicao's residents. Currently Pemex has steady production costs and is limping along by enjoying increased domestic sales (via subsidy reductions) as an offset to reduced profitability on the oil it exports.

While I am guilty of sometimes viewing cita pricing as commodity, it really is not primarily viewed as a commodity by the providers of sex services. They have always, and continue to, set their individual pricing based on sizing up their clientele. Providers tend to structure their pricing on a sliding scale based on what they can extract from filthy pig mongers. As long as their client's resources remain steady, so will their pricing.

I've always been concerned about costs and consequently always obtained ans spent pesos in Tijuana where it gave me a pricing advantage. I am enjoying the weaker peso.

Less frugal mongers that choose to stick with only spending dollars. Will likely continue to do so.

Paying $80 for 30 minutes seems high for a monger destination. I was thinking about going down to Tijuana later in the fall but here in Toronto and Montreal, we could easily pay $80 for an incall girl for 30 minutes. So I am now questioning why I should even make the trip if I can get the same prices up here.

And in San Jose Costa Rica, we could stlll get an hour for a Del Ray girl if we negotiate down to $60. This leads me to believe that HK club is getting overpriced compared to other places we can go to.

There are plenty of BG's available for $60 in HK and AB. Some bars like Tropical and La Gloria there are some in the $40 to $50 range. And step out the back door of HK and pay in pesos for a nice looking SG about 14 dollars for a nice BJ or 1 position sex. Although you will not exactly get GFE type service its a bargain.

My questions is: Would the people that said it was a hassle before have a change of heart now? Thoughts?Do things more like a local and save even more. Stop patronizing places that price their goods in dollars.

There's no need to pay $5 for a taxi. Go out to the alley and snag a Libre. Get in the front seat. Pay 50 pesos at the border. You've paid about $3. 50.

Avoid the places that are priced in dollars. La Cueva del Peludo is a club much like Chicago used to be, but with fewer gringos. Beer is 17 pesos. You've saved about $3. 75 per beer.

Many street girls go for 200 pesos. That's about $14.

If a club girl quotes $60, tell her you don't have dollars, only pesos. Offer 600. Many will take it, some will counter. For 600 you've saved about $14. For 800 you've saved about $3. Don't pay 800.

The prices of some things have gone up. Some local taco stands have had to raise prices a couple of pesos. One of my hotels went up a bit. Overall, prices seem fairly stable.

Gringos down on a fishing trip. But, as you said, a bit of negotiation goes a long way.

There is no reason to go to Tijuana if all you are coming for is $80 30-minute sessions. But with a bit of knowledge and a bit of negotiation you can certainly do better. And I avoid HK like the plague, these days. Especially the giant sausage fest that weekends have become.

The OP may be very picky, and there is certainly no accounting for taste. But to be unable to find any "doable" girl in any other bar in the Zona? Come on. That must be one very narrow set of criteria.

If you are picky like me where you only like 3-4 girls out of about 100 girls on the weekend, then $80 is the price. Many good looking girls were ready to go for $60, before you even try to negotiate. But if you want nice slim 18-19 year old girl, very good looking face and body, then you've got to pay a bit more. I paid $100 to one girl. I would rate her a solid 9 in my book. Bit of an attitude too but you don't see girls like that everyday. So, I had to do it. I have negotiated with hundreds of girls in many years but when i tried to negotiate her to $80, I knew I wasn't going anywhere.

It's a great place to go for 3-4 days. I am planning to go back within a month.

I totally agree with you. I do have a very stringent criteria. Sometimes, I hate myself to be that way because it severely limits my ability to enjoy sex with other girls who have nice personality. I will sit with them, chat and buy them drinks but I do not take them upstairs. Not trying to explain myself, but if I ever go with a girl I'm not 100% into, I do not enjoy the session.

I am a big fan of beautiful face. Nice hair, perfectly shaped teeth and braces. Natural tits. Flat belly. Small ass. Slim slender body oozing a nice scent. This is my criteria. Not easy to find, but I somehow manage.

You are also right that HK is a sausage fest on Fridays and Saturdays, and also it is impossible to breathe there for a non-smoker like me but it still has the best looking girls anywhere. I actually enjoyed more in HK from Sunday to Wednesday.

I have not been to P and be in a long time. I do frequent Adelitas and HK and was wondering if anyone on this board can tell me how P and be stacks up. I am interested in knowing drink prices, Ficha prices, chicks. Are they hot? How many are there? What about the hotel room? Where is it?

Thanks in advance and happy mongering. H1.Ok. Well it has been a few years since I have been to tijuana, but P&be used to be my favorite strip club. Yes it was dark and kind of dirty. But it was soooo much fun. Mileage per dollar was so much better than HK or Adalitas or really anyplace else. It is really more of just a great strip club with great mileage per dollar. I am happy to hear that it is still there. I will be going next month, and more often. Yeah!!!!

The place was empty except for the low life barker that dragged me in there and maybe 2 girls they had to wake up because a customer walked in. Just beware of the barkers / maseros here, I think this is where that magic act where they turn your $20 bill into a $1 in front of your eyes was invented. OH YEA they will also try to sell you every drug on the planet. The last bag of pot I bought there was origano. Jajaja.

Hi Phordphan.

SM1.Hi,

First off, let me apologize if my post came off a bit harsh. Sometimes what sounds better aloud doesn't translate well to writing.

Yes, that is a very narrow set of criteria. It sounds like you might prefer the girls at the JP-centric bars of Bangkok. I know they dig slender girls with those cosmetic braces. Personally, I find braces a total turn-off.

Now I will say that looking for a Latina with a small ass is a bit like going to a Chinese restaurant and ordering steak. :D I thought the whole point of Latinas was the curvy ass and relatively large boobs. Not fake, as I hate plastic ones, too.

In my case, I come for the service. Looks are secondary. I can count on one hand the good sessions I've had with 18 - 19 year old ladies. They tend to lack experience, but they make up for it with bags of attitude. At this stage, I have no tolerance for attitude, especially on my dime. I'll take a 30-something MILF who can suck a golf ball through 6 feet of garden hose any day. :)

Hey all,

I was down in Tijuana over the New Years holiday. I stayed at Hotel Real del Rio. Very nice place for about 60 US a night. The breakfast buffet is about 10 US with coffee but well worth it. Fresh fruit, and all the breakfast trimmings you can imagine. Even fresh omelettes made to order. The pork Chile verde filets are phenomenal. Staff was very good also. I sampled some chicas from musastj, and hottiuana and they were all very skilled and I have no complaints. I checked out HK but was disappointed as usual by the hustling meseros. There are some stunning women in there but personally I like a quiet atmosphere with no rush. All in all I had a very nice time but the only problem is it took me two days to finally unwind from the stress of work / life here in the states. I tried mazzogram with mixed results and next time I'll go back to using figral as I've had raging boners with that stuff. For my next trip I was thinking on staying in Rosarito. I took a taxi down there last year, from Tijuana and it ran me 20 US each way. Not bad for a one day trip but this summer I'd rather stay down there and have the girls come to me. I am wondering if anyone knows of a chica friendly hotel or a good vacation rental down there for mongers. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the report Big Twins. Sorry I can't help you with the Hotels in Rosatito. But if you don't mind traveling in a shared taxi, you can save some money getting to Rosarito. They charge about a dollar fifty each way. Look for the gold and white vans parked on Madero between 3rd and 4th in centro. Madero is one block below Revolucin.

Good luck having any of the Tijuana girls come to you in Rosarito, except maybe escorts.

The girls have one real mission, make money, make it fast, then make more money.

Sometimes I have a few favorites that will come to my Tijuana hotel, either on their day off or before their shift, or after their shift if they get off early enough.

Unless you come there on a regular basis, it would be hard to have the girls meet you anywhere besides the club and the hotel associated with the club.

Please provide an update.

What are the best options if any, during the morning hours between say 8 am and noon?HK is open and will have a morning shift as well as Adelitas and some can be quite nice looking. There will also be a few door girls available as well. The pictures below are all of HK morning girls I had around 8 am before having to leave early to catch my flight.

Just curious if anyone has been to a place located across the street behind the Hong Kong Bar called Bar-Gold. I got scammed at this place. Wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?I think I stayed in one of their rooms with a street girl I pulled from just outside last 4th of July wknd. After done with her (had to finish myself off) the staff were very rude and rushing me out. Buying a room above HK for $45 even if to session then return to SD at night priceless. Rooms good enough to stay in full time however I always need keep a SD hotel so my family isn't asking much what I do down in Tijuana.

Basically I pay for boarding and food etc. She is great in bed and I can say that we do have a relationship somewhat. Certainly an exception.

If you offer girl $200 maybe she will join you. These girls also need entertainment. Tell her you will take her to Mango's in Ensenada for dancing. Chicks love this place.

Many of these girls have only heard of Ensenada (La Bulfadora, etc.) but not actually been there. This does genuinely seems to interest them. My chick tells me so.

Absolutely right, Hugo.

I am planning to go back within a month.Yes, I found myself in the same boat, only about 4-5 girls I would be willing to go with out of all the girls there on a busy Friday / Saturday night. Then again, I'm into 25 and younger, petite slim, small ass, which is the distinct minority there. Also, I prefer a face that is not too "Latina"-looking (that is, more American or European-looking).

Anyways, I found that those same girls who will only accept $80 for a half hour will also accept 1500 pesos ($100) for an hour -- without hesitation on their part. Me, I like to take my time, so that price structure worked for me. I figured why not get another half hour for only $20? Another way to look at it is that I'm only paying $50/ half hour -- not a bad price.

Pricing:

For a solid 8 -10. A girl that would turn my head on the streets, the price for me is 700 pesos if I buy her a drink or two. 900 pesos if I walk up to a stranger and negotiate for sex immediately. They warm up to you and are willing to ease up on pricing if you are clean cut, relatively healthy looking, and non-threatening. That is they recognize you by memory or if you've been up with a friend of theirs in the past and have a good reputation. And a little charm here and there doesn't hurt. They really drop their pricing if they're looking at you as a potential step-father for their kids. I've been probe before.

They will raise the price if you smell, dress like a slob, have poor hygiene, look violent, like to slap ass the dancers, or like to finger the dancer's ass while they dance. And even if you presented yourself decently, you will get quoted higher if you are very tall or big. Safety is a constant issue for them. Also, if you are Hispanic or African American, you will have to deal with higher prices. Sorry guys, stereotyping ain't fair. But I didn't make up the pricing. And they will raise prices if they just finish with another customer, because now you are just another job.

In short, between 700 and 900 pesos.

Shot up to Tijuana to renew my 180 Visa on Friday. I did not have to actually leave the country but flights are such had to spend the night. And, rather than waste a night in Tijuana, I booked 48 hours with my ATF and got a nice oceanfront suite south of Rosarito. We had a ball. After meeting me at the airport, she drives us in the FOG to the hotel. After a nice dinner at a place she knew, we jumped into our private jacuzzi overlooking the beach where she administered a 20 minute BBBJ. We took a short break (I was very close to "launch") and resumed the activities inside since it was getting cold. A little DATY and every position I knew until the pop. Slept until 10, had morning sex and off to a great buffet breakfast at Ortegas in Rosarito. Back to the hotel, another romp in the sack including more BBBJ (I think she likes this as much as me or maybe it helps to get her mind off the fact she's doing a dude that could be her grandfather. Jajaja). Off to the Cinepolis Theater for a movie, shopping and dinner. Back to the hotel for more jacuzzi and a night of everything goes sex (reaffirming why she's my ATF). We have a couple of cocktails and then crashed Up at 0730 for another round in the hay and off to Aeropuerto for a Sunday flight back to Mazatlan with a renewed Visa in hand. Wonderful 2 days. ATF cost (this is a business relationship) = $900 US, hotel = $375, food and incidentals = $275.

Sunday morning I woke up dreading work. I sat at my computer drinking morning coffee and contemplating what to do. Suddenly a wild hair grew up my ass and I cancelled work for the next two days, hopped in the Beemer and lead footed it all the way to San Ysidro. I had booked a room at hotel real Del Rio and checked in that night. I had a couple of beers and had a girl come over. The chemistry wasn't there but she certainly was cute. She left and I still needed to sate my lust so off to HK I went. Nothing interesting to be found so over to Adelitas where I got a BBBJ for $50 from a big breasted mother of three. Huge natural tits and took my load all over her lips and face. Grabbed some tacos on the corner and back to hotel for a good nights rest. Monday was spent at plaza Rio and Cien Anos, a restaurant next door to the hotel. I struck up a conversation with the owner / chef and will heading there for dinner later to try alligator and crickets! I'll post a report on the adventure.

After being gone for several months, I was extremely pleased to get a notice that flight prices into SAN for the end of February are dirt cheap. I'm using SkyScanner for Android (not sure if its available for Apple). I like the interface, especially the ability to put in open dates and pull a rate graph for months out. Anyway, I jumped on the deal, and am booked for a quick trip from Sat 2/28 to Tues 3/3. Looking forward to getting a break from the east coast cold and back to some Tijuana shenanigans. Some things I plan to do differently this go round based on my last trip:

1) Coming armed with $1's and $5's. I ran out very quickly my first trip.

2) Exchanging for pesos in San Ysidro. 14:1 sounds like a winner to me.

3) Will make all purchases in pesos except tipping. I know I won't always save, but even if it's just a little, it makes me feel better. I'm not a cheapskate, but if I can save a little by an occasional, favorable currency swap, I'll take it.

4) I didn't have any problems with Tijuana police pat-down patrol last time, but I'll be bringing an ankle money belt for the majority of my walking around money, money clip for my mid size money / passport, and a decoy wallet with a couple 200 pesos bills, expired credit cards, and my driver's license. If I do get a pat down, money clip and passport from my front right pocket to my hand. He can play with my wallet all he wants, and snag a 200 p note. Not paranoid, just want to take precautions.

Looking forward to getting back down to a little slice of heaven.

Dante.

I was at HK and Adelita yesterday (Saturday) - what a better way to spend Valentines Day As I was leaving something bad must have happened up near the New York bar as the cops were racing up there. Must have been about 20 cop cars there. My buddy said he would drop me off at the border. We get in his vehicle and about five minutes later as we are driving he gets pulled over. One cop comes up to his side with hand on gun saying to get out of car and walk backwards to the rear of vehicle. Another cop on my side told me to keep my hand on the glove box. My friend had to interpret for me. Then I was told to exit vehicle and do the same. Once in the back of the vehicle, cops handcuff me and my buddy. They said they pulled him over for speeding and because he looked like a suspect. I got frisked twice and in the end the fucking rat cop said $100 and we could leave. I paid it and then the fucker wanted me to drive my buddy's vehicle. I told him NFW so he let my friend drive. If that wasn't bad enough as I was going thru CBP the fucking drug dog was on me (I don't even take aspirin). Obviously they found nothing as I didn't have anything but fuck! What a day!

The cops used to love to jack up cars and taxis going south on Madero, between Coahuila and Primero. Unless it's very weird circumstances, I won't drive through the Zona at night for this exact reason. Having CA tags is like having a neon sign attached to your car. I also won't take a taxi from in front of HK or Adelita because they have to go east and then south on Madero. Instead I take a Libre from the alley. They have to go west, then south on Ninos Heroes to 2nd. Lots more lighting, lots more traffic, fewer chances to get jacked.

I've not noticed any conspicuous markings on the cop cars. Also, I haven't noticed any numbers on the cops' badges. Maybe somebody can shed more light? That's often been the complaint; the victim can't identify the cop. But I think, for $100, I'd make it a personal mission to fill out as many forms as necessary to get that asshole disciplined.

I wasn't there, so I won't be too critical. But it does seem that $100 is way over the odds, assuming it was just a routine fake-ass "speeding" stop. Escalating to handcuffs makes me wonder if there was more involved. The "going rate" seems to be around 200 pesos. I do know a chica who got hit up for $50, once, but that's the highest "local" mordida I've seen.

My buddy lives in Tijuana so he didn't have CA tags and this was mid-day. As far as more being involved I am curious what you mean be / see I was just hanging out at Adelita and HK having beers so not sure what more could be involved. I am not a newbie as I have been going to Tijuana for about 25 yrs so know my way around. Also this was in broad daylight at 3:30 in the afternoon. I was honestly too nervous to get a badge number. Being in handcuffs in a 3 W country is scary enough to keep me away for a couple weeks.

As far as the thing that happened near NY bar. No clue. SD news doesn't cover that stuff.

Now that Nino Heroes was converted to a two-way street. The Taxi Libras often travel North on Nino Heroes and east on Coahuila just like the cabs in front of HK.

Most (if not all) of the police cars I have seen have four digit identifying numbers appearing in several places on the vehicles. As I recall one of the locations for these identifying numbers is the rear quarter panels.

I wasn't there, so I won't be too critical. But it does seem that $100 is way over the odds, assuming it was just a routine fake-ass "speeding" stop. Escalating to handcuffs makes me wonder if there was more involved. The "going rate" seems to be around 200 pesos. I do know a chica who got hit up for $50, once, but that's the highest "local" mordida I've seen.I think the policia mordita rate is on a sliding scale based on how well dressed the civilians are dressed, the perceived vale of the car, whether the subjects appear to be nervous or acting like jerks, the time of day, how isolated they are and probably many other factors. The biggest factor is always how much money the monger has in his possession, which the policia find out during a quality search.

Now Hobbiest says that he takes no drugs, and he probably is unfamiliar with the smell of certain contraband. But if his buddy was carrying pot, or had recently smoked a joint in the vehicle. The smell would be present in his buddies car and also transfer to Hobbiest's clothes. If that were the case. All the events would be much easier to explain or understand (I. E. The handcuffs, large mordita, CBP dog alerting).

I have searched but maybe not using the right terms or whatever. I've mongered in Brazil, Argentina, Czech Republic, Thailand, and the Philippines, but I currently live not so far from Tijuana. I am not really interested in a 30 minute fuck'and'go but maybe a few hours with a lady. The feeling I get from Tijuana is that this isn't really the place for that. I accept that it's very popular for Americans and thus kind of Americanised (I don't mean anything good or bad either way. Just that it's popular with Americans and thus they kind of cater for it), but I do see a lot of reports of short time rooms with hotel owners / security knocking on the door after 30 minutes or whatever, or lack of showers, or whatever. Am I being paranoid and missing a lot? I do like to DATY but only if it's clean, and without the thought (misguided or otherwise!) that I'm the 5th that day!

FWIW I guess I'm more used to Asian ways. And this is 1/3-1/2 of a world away from Asia so I'm not assuming similar. While I don't necessarily want LT overnight, a bit of unpressurized ST wouldn't go amiss. I just wonder whether I'm asking too much of Tijuana or whether I just don't understand enough. Or maybe have different wants to some others here?

Basically I don't want to risk an overnight away from home (ahem wife) if it's just a quickie in a shite hotel. I suppose I'm asking a GFE-like experience (see my Philippines trip report. Buggeritt! But I guess Tijuana is not going to be quite like that. Sorry to be rather vague and contradictory but any stories from those who have done both Thailand / Philippines and Tijuana would be most helpful (and links to reports if there were some I've not managed to find before). Cheers.

Clear out your inbox my friend, I just tried to send you a PM.

I lost you last night, I was playing with SGs forever and a day.

How was the HK lolly pop girl? That's what happens when your popular, all cleared out now, thanks for letting me know.

Yes I looked for you in all the usual places but couldn't find you, figured you found hot little chica and wondered back to your room. You missed the chica fight in the ally on Saturday night. Not sure if they were door girls or bar girls but two of them were rolling around on the sidewalk in g strings and skimpy outfits pulling hear and hitting each other until it was finally broken up.

Yes the lolly pop girl was great had a good time. We will have to catch up with each other on my next trip.

It is quite possible to have something more than a ST quickie without having to do the LT overnight stuff. Though it requires a little amount of luck, chemistry, and some work on your part to have built some understood relationship with the chica.

The girls come from all over Mexico to make money, not to hang out with you forever and a day. It is only because I live 25 minutes to the action that I visit the place weekly. It takes time to establish regular contacts for extended hours of GFE pleasure. For the average visitor, it does not happen unless you are willing to spend a butt-load of money.

Tijuana is what it is; a fast and furious 20-30 minutes of action for the average visitor. Having said that, there are some beautiful girls working in the clubs.

I hope this helps.

Honestly I wish I knew my around (directionally NSEW) in Tijuana but I can only tell you it was on the highway at the end of the road from Adelitas near the fire station.

No clue. SD news doesn't cover that stuff.Wow! Broad daylight? I just assumed it was at night. To get jacked like that during the day, man, things are getting worse.

I didn't mean that you were involved, necessarily. I was wondering more about your friend. Usually something has to happen, or the cops know something. Escalating to handcuffs is certainly taking it to another level. I've been stopped and frisked a few times, but it never got to the handcuffs stage. So, I just wondered if maybe your friend said something, or the cops knew the guy, or something. Oh, and yes. Being put in handcuffs is a very scary thing.

If I need a taxi I'll grab one on one side or the other of Plaza Santa Cecilia.

I think you're right about the cop car numbers. I'll try to notice the badges next time I'm near one, which, if it never happens again, will be too soon.

Interestingly, I've only been searched when walking or, once, when they jacked my taxi. I drive a 2005 car to Tijuana. It's nicer than most of the jalopies, but not nearly as nice as a lot of cars I see. The three times I've been stopped while driving, I've never been searched. No idea why. One, the alcoholmetro, resulted in blowing a 0. 04 and walking away, the other two resulted in 200 p mordidas. All were at night.

I wonder if we're heading back to the "bad old days" of Hank Rhon.

Cheers. What you ask is readily available, if you're willing to put in a tiny bit of work. Learning some Spanish is very important. BTW, I take lots of shit in the Thailand threads for daring to compare the current level of service in BKK to that of what's available in Tijuana. Unfortunately, IMHO, the level of service in BKK has seriously deteriorated over the last few years and is becoming far too much like the Zona Norte.

First, the 30-minute nonsense is strictly at the ST hotels in the Zona, the ones attached to the clubs. Tijuana is chock full of very nice ST "motels" (minimum 3 hours, max 24, depending on day of the week). A / see, nice bed, room service, large TV. Between 300 and 360 pesos for 3 - 4 hours. So, an Asian-style short time is do-able, at least from a facilities standpoint. And much nicer than your average BKK or Saigon ST hotel.

Your two options are escort services (see that thread for more information) or a web site like Craigslist. The escort service will give you anywhere from 1 to X hours, but will be pricey. You're paying for the girl and her pimp, errrr, manager. I won't pay these inflated prices, and I have a philosophical objection to pimping, so I only look for independents.

That leaves websites like Craigslist or s e x y t i j u n a . c o m. There are loads of girls on CL who will meet you at your motel or at a public place, like a Starbucks, and then you can taxi to a motel. Ages are from 18 to 58. Prices vary from $120/ HR (young agency girls) to 500 pesos for 1. 5 hours for an older chica. On average, for a mid-20s to early 30s independent chica who will go to a motel (as opposed to incall), you can figure between 600 and 800 pesos for an hour. Sliding scale for more time. Like maybe 1,000 for two hours, 1,300 for three.

One example. Before I started driving into Tijuana I had a fave who had a regular job somewhere in the Zona Rio area. We'd make an appointment, meet at a place near Plaza Rio, then taxi to La Mansion. We'd spend between 1. 5 and 2 hours in the room, which included chatting, maybe having a snack, and some nice BBBJ and covered sex. She was early thirties. She asked for 600 pesos. Room at the time was around 300. After, we'd share a taxi back to our rendezvous point, I'd drop her off and continue to the border.

I won't belabor the point. This is very easy if you put in a very small amount of effort. It's the closest thing to an old-fashioned BKK short time you'll find near California.

After you repeat a few times you may very easily be able to arrange much longer visits for the same money.

As far as the thing that happened near NY bar. No clue. SD news doesn't cover that stuff.I just heard it was another shooting around 3 in the afternoon on Valentines day. A guy was shot in the face and chest. It seems to be getting a bit dangerous to frequent the taco stand by the corner of Coahuila and Nino Hero's. Two shootings over there within a week. So if you can't live without those tacos at least be on the lookout for stray bullets.

For someone coming here for the first time, and can we assume that the OP has no Spanish speaking ability, the OP could not accomplish what you or others have accomplished without having "Boots on the ground" experience in Tijuana. It takes A LOT of time and effort.

Don't kid yourself! H1.Yeah $100 seems like a bit stiff. It's not always how much you have. Cops are hesitant to rob over a certain amount unless you really did something illegal. I've found that the amount cops are comfortable robbing is around $50-$60. Any more and they're afraid you'll go to the Sindicatura. I've had close to $1 k on me once, got pulled over for doing nothing, got searched and when they let me go and returned my cash it was about $60 light. Another time they threatened to tow my car unless I paid $60. The secret is to not carry cash on you that you don't need. What I do is I have two checking accounts at the same bank. I keep around $10 in account #1. Account #2 is where I keep my real cash. I only carry with me my debit card for account #1. I do not carry my account #2 debit card in Mex. Whenever I need money, I do an online transfer from #2 to #1 and pull the cash from an ATM with no transaction fee. This way even if the cops make me go to the ATM they can see my balance is only $10. One time a cop robbed me for $2 because that's all I had. He wanted me to follow him to the station and pay a fine or whatever but when I showed him I only had $2 he was satisfied with that and let me go. A couple months later same cop pulls me over for no reason. He wanted me to pay a $200 mn fine. I told him I wasn't going to pay him and that I'd mail the fine to the Tijuana PD PO box in San Ysidro. He told me such a PO box doesn't exist. I told him it does and flat out told him I wasn't going to pay him the fine. He says "have a nice day" and drives off.

But without the officer's name from his badge or the vehicle identification number.

There is very little that Sindicatura can, or likely will, be willing to do (other than to take your report and include your incident in any statistics they might be keeping).

I had an incident last year in June that I reported in detail on a different monger board.

You'll get a sympathetic ear, but likely not much more (because you are leaving them with little to go on).

Otherwise I don't think the Sindicatura will really investigate.I think ClamSlammer brings up some useful information. He was able to size up the cop and was just not intimidated and therefore was able to get out of the situation. From the cops standpoint I believe they do the same thing. When they stop one of us gringos they read our body language and act accordingly, at this point they could be accessing the fear factor and that could determine what they are comfortable stealing. As Hobbyiest1 stated he was about to shit his pants. I would be the same way, with visions of being thrown in jail in a third world country I know I would NOT be projecting the proper body languge to get out of the situation without it costing me a bunch of money.

I also believe the cops you come across in Zona Norte are going to be higher skilled in the art of ripping off people, compared to other parts of the city. One time I was a passenger in a car being driven by an amiga. After a night of drinking in Las Pulgas she made a wrong turn and next thing you know we were traveling the wrong way on a one way street headed right for a police car. The cops made a you turn and pulled us over. The cops approached the vehicle and ordered her out of the car. While she was out of the car one cop approached the passenger side and shined a light on me and then walked away. After she was talking to them for about 10 minutes she got back in the car and asked me for $10 . The cop returned to her side she handed him the $10 and we drove away. I'm still not sure why they didn't have me get out and conduct a search. I just assumed they didn't want the hassle of trying to communicate with what looked to be a non Spanish speaker. That could of turned into a real nightmare but everybody left happy they were probably on the way to there favorite taco stand, so they headed off for there free dinner and ended up not having to head to the station for a bunch of paper work and we were on are merry way. In this particular case police corruption worked to my benefit. I also realized I did not want to end up in that situation again and any drinking involved leaving the car and traveling by taxi or bus.

H1 as far as contacting Sinductura without any info that would help identify the cops I think it would only be a waste of time. I do believe the more people that send an E-mail directly to the Mayor telling there story of what happened, and mentioning this type of police abuse will make you think twice about a return visit to Tijuana. I do know that when the Mayor took office it was stated that one of his goals was to make Tijuana more tourist friendly by trying to stop police corruption. He may have lost sight of his goals. The more he hears stories like yours it would only help.

As far as the police, things seem to have gotten better since the days they would be waiting at the taxi drop off by the border to steal from tourists on there way home. But with the increase in stories lately we could be headed back to those days.

I'll be coming to Tijuana for the first time for a week during the first week of March. I was hoping someone could answer some newbie questions for me since this will be my first time doing this internationally.

First off, where is the best places to find attractive women. The bars? How many girls walk the street on an average night?

If I wanted to find a girl and go to Baja to the beach for the day, what would this cost me and where would the best place to find the girl for this be? Not a street girl I assume.

He's lucky only $60 was missing.

If a cop jacks you up you must have a plan. Part of that plan is to have your money easily accessible by you. You take it out, show the cop you're holding it in your hand, then let them frisk away. I learned this tip from a fave, years ago. Oh, and carrying a wallet in the Zona is just asking for trouble.

As another poster said, body language is important and they can smell fear. It's tough, but remaining calm and polite does help.

All of this is academic, I suppose, once the cuffs come out. Many posters have been jacked up, but few have been placed in cuffs. Nobody blames you for freaking out. I think I'd have done the same. Cuffs aside, they certainly take advantage of the fact that gringos most definitely don't want to be detained or waste a bunch of time dicking around. Add in the cuffs, and the possibility of riding around in the back of a pickup truck for a couple of hours, and maybe $100 doesn't look like a bad trade-off. It was probably all a big bluff, but who knows? I think your friend owes you at least $50.

On another note, it's not just gringos who get jacked. All of my faves, over the years, who have had cars, have been jacked up by Tijuana's finest. And, yes, the cars with CA tags get hassled more than others. The largest "contribution" I know about was $50. Most were around 200 pesos.

I also realized I did not want to end up in that situation again and any drinking involved leaving the car and traveling by taxi or bus.I agree. My experience has been that I've only been searched when in or near the Zona. The other stops I was not searched, or, once, not even asked to get out of the car. I'll point out that in all of these cases I was with one or more local girls. This may help, because I suspect it's much more difficult to intimidate the locals, and the cops certainly don't want local witnesses. No idea if that's accurate.

Definitely concur on the booze and car thing. Once the drinking starts, the car gets parked and it's taxis. A DUI in Mexico is not something I want to experience firsthand.

Tijuana is what it is; a fast and furious 20-30 minutes of action for the average visitor. Having said that, there are some beautiful girls working in the clubs. That's what I suspected. For an average pick-up anyway.

What you ask is readily available, if you're willing to put in a tiny bit of work.I thought that might be the case! I know bugger all Spanish unfortunately. I really wish we were taught Spanish at school rather than the French which has been of precious little use to me in my life. France and Cambodia being about the only exceptions (and not even really much use in Cambodia at that).

Thanks both of you, most useful.

Has anyone seen a newspaper article that provides more details?TIJUANA, Baja California. This morning a man died in the Tijuana General Hospital. He was attacked by gunfire Tuesday night in the Zona Norte. Authorities found the vehicle in which the murderer escaped, and it had been reported stolen.

Around 9:40 PM on Tuesday, the victim was on calle Coahuila, when a youth who was on a bicycle approached him and shot him in the head.

The murderer fled on the bicycle, then got into a white van to escape.

The victim was treated by paramedics and taken to the General Hospital, however, at 4 AM this Wednesday he died.

The only clue there is at the moment is the vehicle the murderer fled in was found and was reported as stolen.

Life is to short , have fun and do what you enjoy doing. Random violence can occur anywhere. The other day there was a shootout and someone was killed at my favorite marijuana dispensary. But I won't let that stop me from going back there.

I remember about 6 years ago I started making trips into Tijuana after staying away because no one wanted to make the trip with me due to all the reports of violence. There were police chiefs getting ambushed and all kinds of crazy shit going on. So in that first return trip I looked for some wisdom from my cab driver, and I asked," Is it safe to come down here?" And he replied as long as your not a drug dealer or a cop you will be fine. And fast forward to today I have made numerous trips without any problems /.

I'm sorry Phordphan, but I completely disagree. Although, I usually agree with your thoughts.

For someone coming here for the first time, and can we assume that the OP has no Spanish speaking ability, the OP could not accomplish what you or others have accomplished without having "Boots on the ground" experience in Tijuana. It takes A LOT of time and effort.

Just my 2 lousy pesos.Well, there is easy and there is easy. Obviously, the easiest is for the taxi to drop you off, all slack-jawed, in front of HK, where you'll be dragged in, spoon-fed, and be subjected to a wallet-ectomy. And for guys who like that, it's great. The OP stated that he had a fair amount of experience around the world, but seemed to be looking for longer times, and more of a GFE, in nicer surroundings. So, my response was based on the assumption that he wasn't a complete noob, just new to TJ.

Getting longer times for less money is "easy," but it requires a completely different approach. If money is no object, you contact one of a number of escort services, make arrangements for the amount of time you want, take a taxi to a nice motel, the girls shows up, etc. , etc. Easy peasy.

My recommendations, however, require a fair amount of prep work. It's "easy" but can be time consuming. All you need is a free e-mail account, maybe an app like Whatsapp, an some time to browse the web. You start by finding the girls who do their business via e-mail or another app. You contact them, you use Google Translate to grease the skids. Make an appointment. Taxi from the border to the rendezvous place. Chat up the girl and head to a motel. Taxi to the border when finished.

The first one is an adventure. After that, they get easier. As things progress your Spanish gets better, you become more familiar with Tijuana.

So, to reiterate, it's "easy" in the sense that anybody who cares to make the effort can do it (Hell, if I can, anybody can). But it does require a completely different approach.

I'll also be the first to admit that if you're looking for the Thai / Flip style experience, where you go to a club, have some drinks, ogle the ladies, head off with your fave for several hours of fun, well, Tijuana ain't the place for that. But if you're willing to forego the party atmosphere of HK and AB for a couple of hours in a nice motel, then Tijuana has many very affordable options.

But there is commonality in French and Spanish as you say, and there is a fair amount of commonality between Spanish and Tagalog too. No excuses really!

Once about 35-40 years ago I got my car towed away, as I had parked it in a taxi zone. I had to go the police station to pick it up. $10 was all it cost, as that was all I had. I once got stopped for making an illegal u-turn and $10 got me off the hook. What would that cost in the US? I was stopped once when they saw a passenger drinking from a can in my back seat. I politely pointed out that Coca Cola wasn't illegal and I was sent on my way. Once I went through a sobriety checkpoint and was waved right thru after I told the officer that I hadn't been drinking. Once I got stopped driving east on Coahuila near the Via Rapida for no reason except to see if anything was fishy with me so they could intimidate me into a payoff, but I make it a point not to mix mongering and drinking and drugs, which I can do all I want at home. So I had nothing to fear or to pay for. But I do approach the zona and exit it from the west now, as the cops are far fewer. I speak impeccable Spanish and was polite and patient with them as then searched my car and me. They finally realized that they had wasted enough time on me and let me on my way so they could search for fools that had been drinking and driving. And once I was stopped walking around the zona and searched and of course had nothing on me and hadn't been drinking, and was let on my way. They do that to catch you with something illegal or semi-illegal, and then intimidate you into 20,50, 100 or whatever you are willing based on your fear level and wrongdoing level. Now during those same few decades, tickets from the SDPD cost me a couple grand in fines and insurance increases. Just don't drink or drug while you monger, save it for home. If you get stopped, you have no reason for worry or fear. Don't be a pussy. Unless you are driving drunk, in which case I hope they throw your ass in jail. I thank god thery are out there, collecting troublemakers in their pickups, keeping them off the streets. In decades of going to the zone I have never had a single crime committed upon me. And I'm glad they are looking for drunk drivers and drugged out ones. I don't want to dodge them on the roads on my way home. At home, I pour myself a couple of shots of tequila as I happily reminisce about Paola, Sarai, or whoever they were that night.

So, I am fortunate to have a job where about 90% of my job is done from home. I realized a few days ago. I could probably spend some extra time in Tijuana and still do my job. Obviously I can't let my job know I'm not in the state I am supposed to be working from.

But, my only concern is. I spent about 4 days in Tijuana awhile ago and I started to get bored. So my game plan, if I do stay in Tijuana that long, is just to take it slow and not worry about having girls every day. But I do love knowing while I'm working I can take a break and grab a hot Chica for an hour then get back to work.

I'll be down the weekend of March 6th if any fellow mangers wants to grab a beer PM me.

Not sure if it is their standard price. I didn't partake because I had a chica earlier so can not comment on the rooms. The manager there spoke good english too. I think it's worth checking out.

Their VIP card offers a large number of benefits, including one free drink in HK everyday and a discount of 20% off the room costs at Cascades (50% off on Mondays & Tuesdays). But you must present the VIP card at the time you pay for your room when you check in.

The cost of the HK VIP card is $50 (or 650 pesos).

If you don't have an overnight room at Cascades or Rizo de Oro, when you are taking a bargirl upstairs for a 30 minute session, by presenting the HK VIP card, the monger is extended an extra 15 minutes on top of the half hour (I. E. The short-term rental is for 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes).

http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?2231-Hong-Kong-Club-Reports&p=1627367&viewfull=1#post1627367.Just in case Sexmachine1 does not click on your link (or he does not read down far enough into that thread) Every monger should be warned not to pay for multiple days at Cascades or any other hotel in LZ without getting a receipt that shows he paid for multiple days. If you pay for two days (or an entire week upon check-in) and don't get a detailed receipt, the office clerk could steal from you and indicate on hotel records that you only paid for one night. The clerk then pockets your money for the extra days you paid.

Then the next day you would be asked to pay again for the remaining days of your planned stay.

Even if the very same oficina clerk is working the next day, don't count on his integrity to admit that you paid for multiple days. He will screw you if you did not get a receipt indicating you paid cash for multiple days. These oficina guys have no conscience and will rip you off if you give them the opportunity! So either pay one day at a time or get receipt if you pay for multiple days.

or should I not make a reservation onlineNo, make the reservation.

Just be cautioned that many times mongers have arrived at Cascades with confirmed reservations for a Master Suite, only to be told that the Master Suites are all taken and none are available. This happened to me in Mid December when I had a Monday reservation for the fetish Msuite (room 529). They made it up to be by getting me into one of the two master Suites at Rizo de Oro.

or should I not make a reservation online will that mess things up? And Cascadas may tell me I only get the online discount and not the VIP discount?Cascades never allows you to stack the two discounts. You only get one discount.

Since the VIP card discount is larger, they give the VIP card discount directly from the room rack rate and ignore the online reservation discount.

The zona attracts loads of human debris, as well as a lot of attractive ladies. When they actually used to deport people, did you ever see the riff-raff that used to be unloaded from the buses and sent across the border at San Ysidro? A lot of those guys wind up in the zona. Other threads here have guys singing the praises of various gringa heroin addicts and their BJ skills <shudder> . Drugs are sold openly in the alley. Drive-by shootings happen. A waiter was killed in HK not that long ago.

My point is that this gringo may have been into some gnarly shit. Maybe he stiffed a girl. Maybe he beat up a girl. We'll never know. I have no love for the cops, but they tend to try to scare you, extract money from you, then let you go. BTW, they do that to the locals, too, just usually for less money. But when the cuffs come out and they start frog-marching you around, methinks it's more than just a simple shakedown. This guy probably did something really bad or really stupid.

I have to agree. The cops take money from everyone. When I was 14 years old my cousin and I were driving in Guadalajara and we were pulled over for no reason. A $10 spot came out and the cop said drive safely have a good day. I am now 37 and Unfortunately this has been going on foreverrrrr

As rotten as the cops in Tijuana truly are, there are two sides to situations like this.

This guy probably did something really bad or really stupid..

Just doing their job protecting us from the RATERO Mexican scum who are on the street in broad daylight at 12 noon to prey on hapless gringo mongers in the zona. Yes these same scumbags ("Amigos" are the very ones who get sucked off by the "Herion, needle marked gringas and (photograph their cum drenched faces!) who frequent the zona. But they say that I "DESERVE" to be detained and searched and relieved of my cash" because I was WALKING on a public street. Of course when I questioned these "fine AMIGOS" I was deemed not a good fit in their circles. So be it.

The cops are in it for themselves. I do not talk to anyone except the chicas. I have seen a marked difference in the past year. When the new administration in city government came into power. I agree that when a gringo gets cuffed (especially in front of Cascada) it may have been a problem with a chica or with Cascada? But who knows.

But who knows.I saw him earlier in the day maybe maybe 30 minutes or so. He seemed normal enough. I'm not sure what he could have done in the little time that I didn't see him. It's possible he could have done something, but I didn't see a disgruntled Chica or a drug dealer getting busted as well so if someone else was involved in this transaction I didn't see it. I will say this though there were a lot of policia to arrest just this one guy. I don't remember exactly how many but it was definitely more then 4 cops at the scene. That doesn't sound very normal for a shakedown.

Whenever there is more than 2 cops making an arrest, its generally pursuant to an outstanding arrest warrant. Shakedowns normally take place with less witnesses, in less visible areas, and with less partners to share the booty with.

PP. I'm not sure if you read my post from around 2/14 but I was cuffed and did NOTHING!Yes, I did. And that was why I wondered whether or not your friend was "known" by the cops, or if he said something, or what. I truly hope we're not regressing into the "Jorge Hank-style" bad old days. Shakedowns are a fact of life in Mexico, but handcuffs and detention are an entirely different level. IMHO, it seems the zona cops are more "aggressive" than their counterparts in other parts of the city. Perhaps part of it is that they have to deal with such scum on a frequent basis, but the other part is simply greed (maybe mixed with a bit of sadism), and the ability to get away with it. I, too, avoid them like the plague.

Shakedowns normally take place with less witnesses, in less visible areas, and with less partners to share the booty with. This has been my experience, too. Every shakedown has been by 2 "officers" (I use the term very loosely), and in a secluded area. The scariest one was several years ago. I was leaving the zona, and I had accidentally spent every dime I had, so I had nothing for a taxi. It was probably around midnight-ish, maybe a bit earler. But it was during the heart of the recession, when Tijuana was a ghost town after dark. I was walking as quickly as I could. (I'm usually not scared of desolated areas, because I figure if there are few people there, there will be few robbers). Anyway, on the pedestrian bridge I encountered a "gang" of 4 or 5 cops decked out in their flak jackets, military boots, sidearms, etc. They jacked me up, made me produce I'd, patted me down, looked suspiciously at my glasses case in my front pocket. As I had absolutely $0, there was nothing to steal so they let me go. IIRC, that was the last time I walked across the bridge at night. Pinches rateros.

The last time I ran out of money, I found a booth in the corner of HK and took a nap. Woke up at 9 am and walked home rather than brave the night across that notorious bridge. Got to credit the waiters, those petty thieves do leave you alone rather than boot you out when they see you asleep. Just don't break any bottles or disrespectfully put your feet on the furniture and you're ok.

As far as I know, there is little if any shakedowns away from the Zona, because people aren't as likely to carry large amounts of cash.

So I'll be in San Diego in just 2 weeks, and would love to stop by Tijuana, by my passport is expired by about 10 years. Is there anyway to get in? I don't care about having to be hassled by some border guard for a little, I have no misdemeanors or felonies in the USA. This is for walking over, is it any easier if I drive over? Whats the best way to go about this, because passports generally take a lot longer than 2 weeks to get through.

I spent the past three days on and off in the zona with a few of my favorites. I live in San Diego so I go back and forth. I have a passport-the book / not the ready card. I am in process of getting SENTRI. I travel back to USA usually around 3-4 PM. Sunday the line was 3. 5 hours. Monday was 3 hours. Yesterday was 5 minutes. I see a LOT of people with canes (not proportioned to the "normal" population!) to get the "handicap" perks. No wait in line! Just a thought. Years back there was a scheme of renting a bike to get through the border fast. Was thinking why doesn't a smart farmacia set up a booth and sell "arthritis' prescriptions and sell canes as a scheme to get around the "fake" handicap ruse the US government supports at the border!

Also the Dollar to peso exchange is NEAR 15 to $1 at the cambios at the trolley station. It fluctuates wildly during the day. At Sunday morning (at McDonalds) it was 14.09 at 9 am. At 5 pm it was 14.71. On Monday at 9 am it was 14.58 and in 2 minutes it "crashed" to 14.19! At 5 pm it was back up to 14.71! On Tuesday at 9 am it was 14.45. At 3 pm when I went home it was at 14.91. I am sure at the banks it is above 15 to $1.

In Tijuana the rate has not change in 3 weeks around 14.09 to $1. Selling pesos back to dollars seem to be a lot better deal in Mexico.

I have a question to people that use Google voice. I just signed up for it today to call Mexico from the US. I have been calling escorts and hotels from the US with no problem. When I get to Tijuana, will I be able to still use Google voice, and call girls in Mexico with my cell phone using Google voice w / o any problem. I have the Google number as the number someone would call, and its set on forward so it rings my phone. Will girls be able to call me and me call them in Mexico with no problem. For one cent a minute you can't beat it. For those that aren't aware of it you have to get it. Its incredible.

My prepaid phone wouldn't allow a call to be made using google voice if it wasn't connected to the phone network (even though wifi was available). Texts worked fine over wifi. I imagine a normal phone with verizon or such would work perfectly.

Remember that you can also call through hangouts / gmail using the same google voice credits and you can also receive calls through hangouts / gmail (using wifi). I have used this technique internationally when the phone feature didn't work.

There was some problem accessing google voice from outside the USA Though since it detects you are outside and GV is not meant to be offered. (I bypassed using VPN).

Summary: CAN work but it's not a perfect solution and won't work perfectly all the time.

Thanks!Since Hong Kong Bar has both a north and a south entrance.

The south entrance / exit opens on out to the alley, which is a relatively safe area. The more attractive (and higher cost) Street Girls tend to stand in the alley.

The rateros in the alley are mostly interested in buying and selling drugs and I have never read or heard of a monger getting mugged in the alley.

While policia are willing to stop mongers everywhere in LZ, the alley is not a favorite place for police to hassle you because there are many people to watch them in the alley.

The biggest caution I can give to you concerning the alley is to be cautious of the barkers & meseros in the many small bars in the alley. These barkers and meseros are infamous for using many tricks, like bait & switch, bill switching, false promises, short changing & gouging mongers. I recommend to a newbie to just stay out of those small bars in the alley.

The north (or main) entrance to HK is on Coahuila Ave.

From that HK entrance, if you walk towards the west to cross street Nino Heroes. You walk in a fairly desolate area that has no other businesses. Policia take advantage of there being few people in that specific area and perform a lot of tourist shakedowns on that part of the block and on Nino Heroes. The only reason for you to walk in that area is to get some tacos since a couple of good taco stands are on Nino Heroes in very close proximity to Coahuila Ave.

If you walk east from from HK you will run into the entrances to Cascades, then Las Chevalas, then a church, then Monte Carlo restaurant, Hotel Coahuila above AB, then Adelitas Bar, Hotel Garcia, and finally La Gloria Bar on the corner of Coahuila Ave. And Constitution Ave. On this part of the block you are less likely to get mugged or hassled by the policia. On Coahuila Ave. The best advice I can give you is to politely decline conversations with English speaking men that will approach you. They are most likely approaching you to solicit drug sales or attempt to escort you to another location to fuck women. Avoid the barkers to are trying to get you to cross the street (the other side of Coahuila Ave.) to go into Mermaids Massage parlor. Mermaids is a newbie trap that sounds like a great deal, but is not when all is sad and done.

As a newbie trying to stay safe and not get ripped off, you should only be leaving HK to go into Adelitas (or Las Chevalas if you like the heavier chicas).

And as a newbie, the only good reason to cross to the other side of Coahuila Ave is to eat since there are numerous decent restaurants on that side of that block.

Most of the muggings and policia stops and shakedowns happen on the streets and blocks adjacent (in any direction) to the one block I am talking about.

The Alley is a street running parallel to the main street. It is well lit and tons of people are there until sun up. You can get water and smokes at the Tijuana 7-11 called XOXO I believe. There is one across from Adelitas, and another in the alley. There is no famacia on the main street. But you can find those a couple pf blocks towards the border. Or if you are willing to pay a higher price, you can get viagra from the bathroom attendant of HK or Adelitas.

You don't "need" to, but another reason to cross Coahuila is Tropical Bar. It is a second tier place but has a lot of gringos in it. It is good for dancing and fresh of the boat chicas (but also very pesky meseros). And it is safe since that was the basis of the original question.

There was some talk about what to do with Chicago club and what we would do if we owned it. I say instead of building a clone of HK, how about making it a terma like in Brazil. It would take all the business. Could you imagine going into CC with no meseros! Only hot girls and a bartender that gives the drinks to your girl and she brings it over to where you were sitting after she shows him your number. You would have a cover charge of about 15 dollars to make up for less liquor sales, and keep the rift raft out, but it would be so worth it. They could pay about 20 to 30 girls a minimum salary, so they would always be women when you go. Did I say no meseros and NO ROBE BOY and NO CUM BOY. They already have the rooms. They just need the showers and spa area for everyone.

Tips please. The way the cops have been messing with people in the Zona, its probably not a good idea to get involved with 420 while in Mx. However taking an edible before entry is one idea. And if you are still insistant on buying some in Tijuana I would give you some info if you pay the membership so I can send you a PM.

Why would you mess with drugs in a 3rd world country. You could be setup pretty easily and extorted. Just abstain from drugs for a few days. Its not that hard you freaking junkie.

Do what I do. Get a cannabis card and go to a dispensary. They have cannabis in every type of form. Edible, wax and one if my favorites, liquid weed used with a vape pen. It's basically a e-cigarette in cannabis form. I smoke this shit everywhere. I take it on the plane, to disneyland, movies, school functions, sporting events. Every where. I take this everywhere and not one person will know. I smoke this in front of Tijuana cops, SD PD and SF PD. I take this with me every time I go to Tijuana. I smoke it in the bars and in the sportsbook caliente. I was told to put out my cigarette by caliente staff and I told him it was a vape pen and was allowed to get high in the alleys caliente sports book without anyone knowing. I love these pens with the liquid cannabis. They are not as strong as real cannibus or wax but it's the most discret form of smoking weed. Guy at work smokes this at the office in front of the boss and only I know because I bought this for him as a gift.

I have smelled weed in hotel Cascadas and have seen it smoked in from of las chavelas by locals but I would not recommend bringing in or smoking the traditional joint

You have been lucky. Tijuana Cops are not stupid. They will screw with you giving enough time. They do not care what your smoking and will deal with you one way or the other. Like I said you have been lucky and that luck will run out soon. So keep doing what your doing thinking your getting away with until it catches up with you. Your medical card does you zero good crossing back into America because it is Federal Land. You will get in trouble but the case will get tossed once it goes to court in CA. I have my medical card but know it does not matter when crossing back into America.

Being robbed by the police or being choked out by rateros is very REAL. The talk of having your headless body found hanging from a bridge is media generated crap.

As far as being a typical USA tourist looking for sex in the Zona. Thers is an increasing posibility you will be searched by the police looking for a viagra a joint or anything that will get them a bribe. A friend was recently stopped for drinking milk. They said something about druggies have been known to put there drug in milk.

But just remember the main reason for these searches is not to throw you in a Mexican prison. As Clamslammer stated they will just be looking for bribe money. And if you are not carrying anything illegal there is a good chance they will steal from you behind your back.

I've not yet had a problem with the police in Tijuana. Do the police ask for a bribe or is the victim supposed to offer a bribe? If he asks for $100, is it appropriate to counter offer $50?

Please forgive my ignorance, I just want to be ready when it happens to me.

Please forgive my ignorance, I just want to be ready when it happens to me.The bribe is more common when driving. They will make up some kind of violation and may kind of let you know what it will take to make the problem go away. You don't want to be the one to offer a brbe because that is a crime.

As far as being stopped and searched. You want to be able to hold your cash in your hand during the search. If you are able to hold your cash in you hand and are not doing anything wrong you should be able to not lose anything. If they make up some shit like you are going to jail for disrespecting a chica or sone made up shit. Then you will have to decide if you want to give them a little money to make the problem go away. Just remember its a matter ofsomeone calling someones bluff. They will size up the fear you show them and act accordingly.

Every situation is different so there is no exact science.

Well I've never heard of a case where the policia have ever tried to bribe a monger. Usually it's the other way around. I've been stopped and searched probably 8-10 times the past year and a half or so. Never openly offer a bribe. If they want one they will discretely ask you to pay a fine on the spot. If the cops get a sense that you are not scared and that you know what you're doing they will back down. The last thing they want to do is to take you down to the station and you telling the capitan that you've been solicited for a bribe. And as Hugo said if you have money in your pocket and they search you and get their hands on it, then they will help themselves to a propina while you're not looking, usually around $50.

I don't talk to ANYONE / except the chicas. I stay at Enva at times, and Cascadas most weeks. I know everyone at Enva (all the people who work there) (and chicas) I walk from the border down Primera every week. I do not have any fear walking to / from the border. I walk in all areas of the Zona. I have been frisked several times and "relieved" of money 2 times. It is hard to control my cash when 2 cops frisk you at a time and I try to grab my dollars and pesos. I DO NOT FEAR the cops, but I do try to steer clear of them. But they are EVERYWARE. As I have said before- it has only been in the past 8 months that it seems it has gotten bad. Before they only were after Mexican Nationals, but now no one is immune. I DO NOT offer any mordida / NO NEED-I have NOTHING to hide. Just walking down the street! As for the "cop loving" scumbags who think I was not worthy of agreeing with their thinking- me being a troublemaker in "their" country. True I am in their country, and I am respectful- But I'll be damned if someone is going to take money from me just because they have a badge and (can) do it!

I've been stopped on foot and searched many times without any resulting problems.

When I was a newbie to LZ, I always followed the advice of the seasoned vets and held my cash in my hands as my pockets were searched. This single action in my early years of mongering always prevented me from losing money to the thieving policia.

And while holding your cash in your hands is excellent advice, my mongering style has changed enough over the years so it is impractical now for me to hold my cash when being stopped and frisked by Tijuana's finest these days.

Nowadays I stay a few consecutive nights on most trips and drive into Tijuana in an older car, which I park at Pepe's (or the Leyva or HDS when I am staying at those two hotels). This allows me to hide most of my money in my car, and a small amount in my room. So I carry very little money on my person these days when walking around LZ.

I have a 'system' for holding my modest currency holdings while walking around LZ: Small peso notes in my right front pocket, larger MX money in my right rear pocket. But typically the larger peso notes are always just one or two 200 pesos notes. I know which ATMS to use to prevent my being stuck with 500 pesos notes. Similarly I request no 500 p notes from cambios when I buy pesos in San Ysidro before crossing the border.

On my left side I do the same with US currency, holding singles, two dollar bills & fives in my left front pocket. If I carry any twenties, it's only one or two $20 bills in my left rear pocket of my jeans. I may not always know the exact count of the smaller bills I am carrying, but I always know exactly how many twenties and 200 p notes I'm carrying in my rear at any moment. Since most of my citas these days are with walkers for total fees of 100 or 150 pesos, I only pull money out in front of them from my front right pocket holding small pesos notes. The walkers never see me pulling out 200 p notes or US currency (unless I'm tipping them with a $2 bill).

So when I get stopped these days by policia in LZ, It would be difficult to start reaching into all of my pockets before submitting to a personal search. So I forgo pulling out all my cash from all my pockets and just let the policia pull bills out of each pocket as they search me. I've never lost a peso this way, despite two occasions where the cop attempted to palm some of my bills. I just count the money as it comes out of my pants and handed to me. Since I knew exactly how much money I was was carrying in my back pockets, it was no problem to point out where (and to what extent) I had the larger bills temporarily fly away from me to the cop.

Policia won't try to palm a 50 pesos note, it's not worth it to them. Their MO is to palm one or more large bills.

In the two recent instances where the policia did try to steal from me (twenties in both instances) , I just calmly explained what was missing and from which pocket it was missing from. On both occasions the cop was able to look again in the victimized pocket. And miraculously find the missing bill (s).

Been lurking for a while but this is my first post. I went back and read a bunch of pages in this (and some of the other threads) and read some of the reports of distinction but if these questions were answered recently and I glossed over them than I apologize in advance.

1: It sounds like you get the most girls working on the weekends but the weekends sound too crowded so I'm thinking of heading down during the week is there likely to be any difference in the quality of girls early in the week vs later in the week or am I over thinking this?

2: All this talk about police and drugs has me kind of nervous. I'm not interested in bringing / buying anything illegal during my trip but I'm planing to spend several days in the Zona and that means I need to bring some prescription medicine with me. I figure I can mostly avoid the cops (or at least avoid seeing them when I have my medicine) by taking a taxi straight to the hotel and putting my medicine in my room, but if I do get stopped by the cops how likely is it that they try to extract a bribe from me for medicine I have a prescription for and more importantly will they let me keep it?

3: While doing some Google searches I read that the water in Tijuana isn't safe to drink and I should buy bottled water and use that for drinking and brushing my teeth and stuff like that, is this true or just some urban legend?

Thanks

ThanksIf you are interested only in stunning lookers, and want to see a large selection of them, then you do need to come to LZ on Friday and Saturday nights (since many of the "A" chicas work weekends only. That's not my preference, as I am more 'service' oriented, so the weekdays work better for me.

If you travel around with your prescription medicine in.

1). Travel quantities in its.

2). Original container with your USA Prescription information label firmly attached.

You will be fine with both walking around with it and crossing the borders with it.

This will work with just about any kind of medicine, except medical marijuana.

I drink bottled water. But I also use simple tap water when brushing my teeth in Tijuana several times a day.

No problems so far, but I seem to have a strong constitution.

Everybody will have their own thoughts, here are mine.

1. Late weekend nights are too crowded for me, haven't even been there at those times for about 2 years. On Fridays and Saturdays I leave by about 8:00 PM. I don't like crowds. Based on 2+ year old experience, I wouldn't say the girls are any better one time or another. But, there are more to chose from and they are more aggressive at night rather than the day.

2. I've never had a problem with police. I do bring prescription drugs into Mexico but I keep them in the original packaging with my name and my doctor's name. I only bring enough for the days that I'm in Mexico.

3. I brush my teeth with sink water from Ticuan. I only drink bottled water.

If you are going to spend several days there, I recommend that you get a hotel away from zona norte. I like Ticuan. Zona Norte is too intense to stay a long time. Often I get a room at both Ticuan and Cascadas for the same days.

I also stay away from meat for the most part. Crap quality and images of fly infested meats at the Mercado will make you a vegetarian in a heartbeat.

I've never drank directly from the faucets but I've not gotten sick from the ice, fresh vegetables and meat served at cleaner restaurants.

Also at night on weekends, i tend to start migrating to the smaller clubs. Daytime is pretty sparse, even on weekends.

Carrying a ATM card is a terrible idea.

This is when police or bad guys take you to a ATM and force you to withdraw the max allowed and take it from you. With Schwab, you can actually create two checking accounts for free, each with its own debit card. You leave one debit card at home (account #1, all of your honey money is here). You take the other debit card with you to Mexico (account #2, absolutely no money in this account).

Then, just before you go to the ATM machine across the street, you instantaneously transfer money online from account #1 to account #2, just a little more than you intend to withdraw (accounting for foreign exchange rate fluctuations).

For this strategy to work, you must delink the overdraft protection from account #2 and its corresponding brokerage account. By default, overdraws of account #2 will cause automatic sales from your brokerage account to satisfy your ATM withdrawal requests to the extent account #2 is empty. But, you can get Schwab to turn this feature off to achieve the outcome sought here.

Boom! Problem solved!

So now, if a bad guy has me locked up in his basement and is beating me and such, I can give him my PIN number no problem. When he gets to the ATM, he will find nothing there. Or, maybe you always leave $50 in that account so the bad guy will at least get a little something and not cut your fingers off just because he's pissed now. If he asks where all your money is, the answer is simple -- you already spent it all on chicas and you only have $50 left!

At any given time, the bad guy can steal no more than what you funded account #2 with just before your withdrawal. Of course, the bad guy could steal this amount from you after you withdraw it as well. In either case, you've limited the max amount available to the bad guy to the amount you intended to withdraw at one time, presumably no more than a day's worth of fun.

Thanks1. You're overthinking it. If you like sausage fests, by all means go to HK on a Saturday. Unless you're the pickiest guy on the planet you'll find somebody to your liking just about any day of the week.

2. Bring your prescriptions in the bottle, with the prescription. Take it to the hotel. The cops won't stop you.

3. You can brush your teeth if you want to. Or use bottled water. I've done both. Even the locals won't drink the tap water. But don't worry about the ice and the food. This is not your grandfather's (or even your father's) Tijuana. It's become something of a foodie mecca, and I think a lot of that has trickled down to even the most modest establishments. The restaurants in the zona are actually much better than they have a right to be. La Perla has some great seafood. So, the odds of getting contaminated food are much lower than they used to be. But don't drink the water.

I've certainly heard of this, but I wonder if it has attained urban legend status.

I've certainly heard of this, but I wonder if it has attained urban legend status.I carry my Schwab card with me every trip, like once a week. I pull pesos from the HK ATMs all the time. As far as the monkey police, if they find something on you, then it is time to worry. Personally, I hate being searched. Tonight, I took a BT girl to the HK hotel, and there were monkey police everywhere. So we ran across the street and afterwards, we ran back across!:)

I've gotten the shitz at high end restaurants here from salad. Cien Anos and Ceasars. Ice is another No No. It doesn't matter where it comes from.

Been traveling around the world since I was a child and those are some of the basic travel rules. Saying this is overblown is misleading.

I would rather miss out on ice and salad while I am enjoying myself with the chicas than be spending time on the crapper.

I think that the water issue is blown out of proportions. I've never drank directly from the faucets but I've not gotten sick from the ice, fresh vegetables and meat served at cleaner restaurants.

Also at night on weekends, i tend to start migrating to the smaller clubs. Daytime is pretty sparse, even on weekends.

When I'm in a house in Tijuana I notice there is usually a bucket filled with toilet paper next to the toilet. I see the same thing in the bars and Hotels. In the Ticuan and Cascades I put my toilet paper in the toilet with no problems. Last week while in Hotel Aqua Rio I put some toilet paper in the toilet and after that nothing would flush. I'm not to worried about the hotels, but I'm scared to death to take a shit in the casa de novia.

There plumping system isn't like the USA. Since I was a kid I was told when visiting aunts ir grandpas houses in mexico to put the toilet paper in the trash. In cascadas, Ticuan or Aqua rio I put that shit in the toilet and flush. Never had a problem. In Aqua rio when taking a shower that shit fills up fast. I mean fast. I think it's the Aqua rio plumbing that is the problem.

Been going to Tijuana fir almost a couple of years now and the I got sick 3 out of the first 6 times. Once it was bad and the other bad time I got sick it was from the pizza sold at the airport and I'm not counting it. I make sure they cook the meat at the taco stand a little longer. I tell them really well done and I eat only at certain restaurants in the zona norte. I drink bottled water only and I've taking a couple of chances eating fruit with the Chile and the chicken tostada from the two chubby lady's with the cart and have been fine. Those chicken tostadas are the bomb. Just like the way my grandma made it. I'm glad they haven't gotten me sick, it would suck to give those up

I'm no waste disposal expert, so I don't know if it's too antiquated or what. The only places that don't have the trash receptacle next to the toilets are the higher-end hotels that cater to gringos. Most gringos I know, including me, refuse to toss used TP into a trash can. I assume these places have some sort of "filtering" system, or something. Maybe somebody here can shed some light. Once I blew my nose and tossed the bit of TP into the toilet. Rocky the Flying Squirrel upbraided me for tossing "papel en la taza," so I guess maybe it's a big deal.

Anyway, specifically to your question, the protocol is to never toss paper into the toilet. The only "legit" exception is where no basket is provided.

To me its easier to get sick from other sources such as poor handling of foods with contaminated hands than the water itself. Some people eat street tacos from street vendors who cannot wash their hands. Thats where I draw my line.Different people respond differently to the various bacteria encountered in travels.

In my case, I've only been sick from food in MX twice, both a long time ago. Once, in the late '80's, on a road trip to La Paz. We stopped in Catavinia for the night. We ate at probably the only restaurant in town at that time. I got some stomach thing (bloating, gas, shitz, misery) for all of the rest of the time there. The second, several years later, a probable salmonella infection from a fish taco in Ensenada.

However, the food sanitation in Tijuana today is a far cry from back then. I'm not saying nobody gets sick, just that it seems to be less frequent.

A "rule of thumb" I've followed for years, in Asia, Latin America and Europe, concerns ice. If it's a symmetric shape and has a hole and / or depression in it, it's been made by an ice machine. Almost every ice machine uses purified water. I've never been sick from drinking iced drinks using that guideline. I once got a serious case of "traveler's diarrhea" in Bali. All of us got it and the only common foods were breakfast fruits served by the staff who came into the villa every morning. I assume the washed the fruit with tap water.

My advice to noobs would be to start slowly. Stick with beer, advance to a cocktail or two based on the above. Eat a taco or two from a cart and see how you respond. Next visit have a couple more, etc. If you get sick, you'll know where you got it and can avoid them in the future. If you get sick continually, you're one of the ones who is sensitive to the local bacteria. But definitely avoid tap water. Even the locals don't drink it.

Ok. I admit that I was curious enough to look at the toilet paper in the trashcans. However, I have never once seen "brown stained" paper in there. Nor have I ever "smelled" poopie standing over the trashcans full of toilet paper. So I'm guessing that if the paper is brown, flush it down. There has to be some unwritten rule about how this works.

I've never thrown toilet paper in waste basket, even when the trash can is provided.

And I've stayed in some pretty ratty places in Mexico.

When taking a dump I simply flush frequently, multiple times in a single visit to the throne.

And the toilet paper easily goes down, in small quantities, without backing up.

The thing that irritates me is that so many places in the LA area have started putting bins next to toilets to accommodate those clients from south of the border who can't grasp the concept of flushing paper.

Maybe some native-born board member can chime in here? Are we both wrong? Both right? Are there exceptions?

It took forever and a day to get to their house, well, more like one big room. That is where I met the grandfather and he suggested we all share the one and only bed. Fuck that! I had a room at the Ticuan and took one of the Aztec sisters back to the Ticuan. She slept over, even though my mom does not allow sleep overs. The next day, I noticed that almost two rolls of toilet paper were gone and the little garbage can was full. That is when I learned about the Mexico sewage system!:(

I wasn't born in Mexico but from the age of 5 to 16 I spent at least 1 summer month in mexico visiting family. As a kid I was always reminded to put the toilet paper in the trash can. This was because of the sewage system and pipes in the houses. There isn't a 24/7 rooter rooter to call in the pueblo where my grandparent lived or even Guadalajara about 20 years ago. There wasn't the cash to pay it also. You just can't go to Home Depot to rent a snake to push that shit out. The toilet got backed up several times when ever we had family visit from the USA side. Grandma had a plunger and a bucket and that was it. Not much fun. So I was always reminded don't put the toilet paper in the toilet. Around age 13 or 14 I started to do what scatt said. Every [CodeWord116] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord116) would follow a flush and every wipe would follow a flush after putting it in the toilet. I'd give it a extra flush towards the end.

While on my first cruise a decade ago I got the toilet backed up a couple of times so I stoped pooping in our room toilet then just pooped in lobby toilet. I backed that one up to. I just can't put [CodeWord116] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord116) in the trash can. Just can'teven though it really doesn't smelk like you think it should

My Mexican friends in USA say that this is not a common practice in "normal" Mexican households in Mexico! I can understand that yes- you just fucked them. But even in the USA there is some sense of personal privacy when in the bathroom. It absolutely does not bother me and in fact I wiz openly now! It isn't a cultural thing. Not even close. Its a prostitute thing. Like you said you just fucked a prostitute and she is comfortable being naked and having strange men put there dicks in every hole she has fir the right amount of money. I've had usa prostitutes [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) freely with the door open and closed. The cleaning lady is probably just trying to clean shit up and isn't bothered by anything. Adelitas and hk chicas don't give a fuck they are always in the men's room checking there make up and outfits.

Because if the price and pristitution being tolerated in la zona norte these chicas fuck more men than usa prostitutes. the mexican chicas are more comfortable pissing in front of men than usa prostitues. How many USA prostitutes have you seen go right up to the sink a give there crotch a quick rinse compared to mexican chicas.

Defidently not a cultural thing at all

With the modesty issue, I admit that I have taken upon my self to educate these ladies to be ladies. Consequently I have gently closed the doors when they are [CodeWord112] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord112), or turn around when they are washing their privates in the sink. Sorry for the late report. Been extremely busy. Don't want to repeat what's been well covered in the earlier posts, but here are some notes and observations.

My second trip within 2 months. I had an amazing time. This is fast becoming my favorite place, which is close to home, and cheaper and easier to get to.

Met up with "Quick Love" and we hung out together every night. Amazing guy and great company. It would have been a bit lonely without him so thanks Man. Was supposed to Meet "HugoTheMan" but we kept missing each other. May be next time Hugo.

We spent most of our time in HK. In fact, I have never had sex with any girl outside of HK. My favorite nights were Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Lot of girls and not as many guys. Fridays and Saturdays are a dickfest. Mondays and Tuesdays are slow.

Paid $60 to $80 in HK. Almost every girl quoted $80 but very eager to go for $60-$70. I was more interested in negotiating for the services I wanted, rather than the price. I was pretty satisfied with the quality of service in the end.

This is the only place where I had no bad session yet, out of about 25 sessions in total in 2 trips of 13 days total. I did 15 sessions with 11 girls this time. I think I have jinxed it now. Let's hope not. One girl was not too eager in the bed but an offer of Propina did the trick. Ended up giving her $80 total including $10 propina. It saved me from having a bad session.

I got BBBJ during every session. Many girls refused to do so. Others had no problem. One afternoon, I was in no mood for sex but had a hard on. Picked a girl at HK. I just laid down and asked her to give me a BBBJ to CIM. She happily obliged. Pre-negotiated $60 but gave her $70 in the end.

Took face and body pictures of most girls I sessioned with. Only 1 girl refused. Most were happy to pose. Sorry guys, I don't post pictures. Showed them to "Quick Love" everyday.

Did not feel unsafe or threatened at any time. I walked everywhere, from Cascadas to Hotel Tecuan, but only during day time.

HK VIP card benefits are amazing. Got a free drink everyday at HK. 30% discounted room at Cascadas. No standing in the line on weekends. Not paying $17 for the room for every session. Extra 10 minutes in the room with the girl. Free Limo to the Border. I can not even imagine staying elsewhere.

Coming and going through the Border was a Breeze since I have NEXUS card. Although Trolley ride is long and boring.

This is all I can think of right now. I may post more later.

Looking to go back to Tijuana soon but I am booked to go to Bangkok from March 30th to April 15th with my wingman KC. So, Tijuana will have to wait until May or June.

Anybody wants to get together in Pattaya, PM me. I will be posting there next.

Did the discount percentages change?

Also I thought the extended "in room time" for short-term room rentals with the HK VIP card was an additional 15 minutes (in other words you get 45 minutes in the room instead of 30 minutes for the S / T rental fee of $17 or 121 pesos). Was that "extended time" benefit reduced to only 40 minutes for short-term rentals?

And why did you not have to pay $17 for the room for every session? Did they start a 'rent two S / T rooms, get a third one free program'?

Hey guys,

Just bought my premium membership so I can accept PMs, so if anyone is going to be in the area tonight til Saturday and want to meet up, awesome. I'm a newbie to Tijuana, last time I went was just a day trip to HK.

My plans for this trip: get a master suite at Cascadas. Try and get a few girls from HK and try a street girl or two. Also planning an overnight with an escort, just haven't decided which one yet, but thinking about a girl that does bisexual dates so I can do a 3 some.

Last time I went my buddy made me exchange most of my USD for MXN, is that still advisable? Should I use USD in HK and MXN for stuff like tacos / food / Viagra?

Again, just got my premium, so feel free to PM me if you want to meet up or got any tips for me!

Rule of thumb is to use pesos for everything. But, escort services may want dollars. Beers in HK are easier to buy with dollars. Pesos for everything else.

If you buy beers and fichas using pesos, the BGs in HK would naturally expect you to pay them in pesos, which generally is a good thing.

And since HK was still using a 13:1 house exchange rate last month (when the actual exchange rate for pesos was hovering around 15:1) it was advantageous to buy your beers in HK using pesos.

This was my second visit (last one was in 2012) to Tijuana. Got in to Blue line trolley from city college station in Sandeigo (was stayingat Ash 9) & reached the border in 45 Mts with a 7 USD compass ticket. The exchange rate was 14.40 persos. The yellow cab took me to HK / Cascada (I have done a booking at Cascada by mail). First went to hk & got the vip gold after paying 650 pesos& then checked to a regular room at cascada. It was a pretty busy Saturday & after the customary 20 $deposit, got hold of the remote&asafe key. Went down to HK by 5. 30 pm & it was packed with very noisy Arab guys. Went around to Adelita Tropican but they were all brimming with Arab guys & many a music was being played for them. Thought of doing a Rounds & getting a SW to open the inning. A 5 ft2 "smiling beu with nice dimples caught my attention. Though her English skills were minimal (my Spanish is Greek& Latin) we negotiated to 250 pesos. It was decent 25 -30 Mts without asking for any extras for BJ or shedding the clothes.

I even thought of repeating her next day& got her Mob no. After a 50 peso tip. So the opener went without any hitches (my first sw in Tijuana, all my bonitas during last time was escorts & I was staying at Ticuan) Came down to HK by 8. 30 pm & the scene was no different, but then the no of girls were massive. A security? Marshal who speaks decent English helped me to get Irene with excellent English skills & anyone will give her 8+ but then she told me upfront that she won't be arriba "ing as she is in her 2nd day of men. Cycle. She was great fun& did everything but penetration in the inside room, the damage being 3 fichas. By 11 went around & explored other clubs but then in quality &quatity Hk was far superior & came back to hk & hunted? Lucia who has looks like a porn star. She was hard on bargaining (calculate at current exchange rate) I could bring down to only 900 pesos. She was a little drunk& sleepy (never recognised it earlier, was enamoured by her looks esp the voluptuous lips which was tantalising). Mostly used her for BJ as she wasn't keen for multiple position & finished in cowgirl. Thought of getting some sleep, set the alarm by 4. 30 (want to catch one before they go for their sleep). The room was rather quiet though the? Ac could be better. Was ready by 5 am & came down. The soapy session was getting over & was fascinated by the 2 girls who claimed they are sisters. The elder spoke perfect English & was rather compelling for a 3 some. I wasn't sure wether I can do justice (for the huge money) & took the elder? Jerona (am bad at remembering names) at 1000 pesos. There were some kamasutra pictures on the wall & she was not averse to demonstrate many. I was disappointed when she told me that if I have also taken her Sist, they would have slept in my room till a late breakfast, Iam not sure, may be she was joking. Have a sumptuous late BF at the Corner rest aren't by 11 am. All the clubs were nearly empty with few motherly characters & their cronies but the street scene was pretty good on the Sunday morning. The stunner I liked won't say a word of English but then we managed with the Google translator. She was rather mercenary insisting on 400 pesos but then I was hooked & the best part was that she was the best In this trip & so no regrets. My regret came when I thought of getting a Massage which I needed after walking around& callisthenics. Adjacent to the club Tropicana there is aplace with Massage displayed & the guy spoke eloquently. I should have backtracked when he quoted 80 $for "total package" . But I went on haggling & paid 30 for massage only,. There were average looking 4 girls & I opted for the best& youngest (my third mistake). She doesn't have any ideas of massage& kept on pestering me about FS. I quit after 15 Mts of the promised 1 HR & gave the guy below a mouthful. Never think of any massage in the Zona. After a cocktail of sea fish as my lunch at a unbelievable cost of 150 pesos at the street shop went back to he where the situation has improved by now. The same security guy- yesterday 5 $ tip (didn't have change at that time- all my 1 $ bills have found their ways in to multiple crevices of the dancing damsels) -has made him my buddy brought another "Linda "mary who after 2 fichas almost made me cum in the corner seat (she drink no alcohol- so says she. But was rather wild with her open mouthed kisse in public (rather rare in hk)& massaging the john with passion) . 1000 pesos it was but then amply rewarded with everything si. The check out time will be extended only by 1 HR even if you have the vip& I extended the stay by another day (one is eligible for the usual discount). My plan was to return by 9 pm & thought that I will finish it off with another Sw. I wish I did a little more homework of learning some basic spoken spanish (Ofcourse everyone learns the sexy phrases & pokito Spanish but then that's not enough if you want to get the best deal). My last pleasure was with another great girl who fought tooth & nail (I have lost all by this time) but every time tells me she is a professional. Though her makeup was little overdone, she could any time be a hk girl& when I asked her about that she says she likes freelancing& does it once in a week at almost hk rates. She sort of "fleeced"500 pesos& will I regret it? No way she gave all what the Dr ordered, only thing being its a professional who is doing the job. It was time to say bye & got the Limousine from hk for the trip back (could have used it for my onward journey also). As expected there was a long queue but then as last time there are people to help you if you pay 6 $. The van was about to leave with another 11 people and in 40 Mts you are at the immigration. Got the blue line (unnecessarily spent another 7 $ for the compass ticket) reached my room by 11 pm.

Thanks phordphan I checked with the agency and not only will she come here but she will hang out at HK with me looking for a 3 some.

Hugo delete some PMs your inbox is full! That is a nice way to do it. That way the girls are actually into each other rather than dislike each other.

You were fortunate to enjoy two extended visits to Tijuana. Was there a reason that you chose to spend dollars instead of pesos when you were there?

I thought the HK VIP card discount on overnight rooms at Cascades was 20% on Wednesday thru Sunday (and 50% on Monday & Tuesday nights).

It just seemed easier to spend dollars than getting them changed to $14.12 pesos every time. There was $14 or more exchange rate given everywhere I went. I personally found the difference to be negligible so didn't bother changing.

You are absolutely right about the room discounts. My mistake.

I thought it was 40 minutes with VIP card. 45 minutes is even better.

If you stay at Cascadas, you don't pay for the room at reception for every session. You can just take the girl to your room. If you are taking most of the girls from HK like me, Then it is totally worth staying at Cascadas.

I agree that some (certainly not all) escort agencies want their girls paid in US dollars, but I have never encountered any type of problem or delay in buying beers with pesos in HK or any other zona bar.

There's no problem using pesos for beers. The OP appears to be fairly new. Generally it seems that it's easier for noobs to pay $5 for a beer than XX pesos. If OP is experienced, by all means use pesos everywhere.

Thanks for the report Purayil:

I was disappointed when she told me that if I have also taken her Sist, they would have slept in my room till a late breakfast, I am not sure, may be she was joking.I have my doubts that she was serious.

If that was a legitimate offer, it would have been made down in the bar before the two of you bailed on her sister.

That place and their barkers across the street on Coahuila Ave. Near HK or AB, should be avoided.

Thanks "Sexmachine1" , I had an awesome time thanks for the great company, I've been going to Tijuana for quite awhile now but this was my first time staying for a whole week. If it wasn't for "Sexmachine1" I probably would have bailed after the weekend. But I'm so glad I stayed. I usually only go for a weekend but after experiencing HK on Wed, Thur & Sun. I realized these are the days to go. Also having the VIP card def helped. Looking forward to my next trip, however it may be a little while since my career is in a transitional phase at the moment.

Yes that's how I feel. I've been doing Tijuana for 15 years I still don't learn. I met this really nice girl in AB and everything from there was heaven for me. I was falling in love with this girl WTF happened to me someone please help?

Yes she even told me that she wanted to date me and no money involved?? Really I said, then we went to eat and I took her to a nice hotel outside the zona she was with me the whole night for $120 that's what I offered her and she told me it is ok she didn't want my money. Anyways we had a blast she was a real sweetheart she gave me her. Phone number and messenger and the next morning at 5 AM she was up and running because she needed to take her toddler to school. She hugged me like I was her. Boyfriend and kissed me on the mouth. I was in soo deep shit because I am now going thru a divorce and I was falling in love with a girl half my age. 20 years difference to be exact but she didn't care she told me. She like to be with older man.

Yes Iam fu. Ing stupid in buying all this bullshit love thing but I am soft sometimes and I fall for it.

We even made lots of plan she wanted to be with me she also told me she was living with her younger sister and a 3 yr old son. I told her everything was cool with me.

And she hugged me so many times and kissed me again on the mouth I truly believed we were in love. We both speak fluent Spanish she speaks some English she used to live In LA and she told me she had a visa and we could both live together in LA.

After driving home back to LA for 3 f. Ing hours I called her and nothing then I messaged her and she say Hi and asked me where I was and I told her back home in LA.

Then again Nothing after a few more text messages she reply saying "I can't now I'm in school" then I asked her what time she gets off school she told me 9 pm so I message her after 9 pm again and nothing next day the same thing all day I was getting the idea that she was taking me for a fool but for what? I only gave her a total of $200 plus $20 worth the dinner.

So why she doesn't reply my messages. I should know better but I've been pretty lonely lately and she made me feel like I still can date a new girl. WTF DID I DO WRONG?

After day 2 and I still cannot get her of my mind I am sad but not angry because she didn't take any big money from me and what confuses me more is she asked me to bring her some make up but why would she do all this to a nice guy like myself WTF I did to her, I even told her it wasn't about sex I was falling for her. We were talking and cuddling and I wasn't much. Into the sex that night. Charlie Sheen was right just pay her to leave after sex.

IMO the reality of the kid, long distance relationship, sister to support smacked her in the forehead the morning after. In a week it will smack you. In a couple of years you 'll be happy that for an instance, you found something more than just sex. BTW the only cases that I've seen working out is that a Gringo moved to Mexico to be with his novia.

I just find out she deleted the messenger.

I'm so hurt right now I'm almost sure I can find her in AB again and she probably finds a bullshit excuse like her phone got stolen blah blah.

Her younger sister is only 18 and she does not work in AB but she could have something to do, what I don't understand is why she would make me believe that she cares for me and then just disappear why can she just tell me that wasn't going to work between us or something but just not saying anything doesn't make any sense, yes I know I need to get over it but the scars are still very fresh from last week.

She had a rough life she got pregnant in the states at age 16 her homie gang member got killed when she was 3 months pregnant that's what she told me. She was tiring to hide a few gang tatoos on her ankles but overall she was a nice clean girl she didn't talk or act like a homie girl. I do have to admit she was too young for me about 23 years younger.

I wanto find her again and I just want to know from her mouth WTF happened that she just dumped me without a reason?

BTW anyone knows if I call AB they can tell me for sure what days and time she works there, I want to make sure before I drive from LA.

I asked her how about a quickie but she didn't want anything and she never ask for the money. I told her the night before I was going to give her $150 but I realized in the morning I only had $120 she didn't care or say anything I also gave her all the food a bag of doritos, some candy a $12 bottle wine and my new $70 sweater because she was cold and she took everything home I mean she took everything including a small water bottle LOL! I also went upstairs the day before I gave her $60 + $20 tip she deserved it.

What she does matters. What she does is telling. What she tells you does not matter.Men can get emotionally attached very quickly. It takes women longer, especially if she works in a place like AB or HK. She probably liked you, maybe a lot; very unlikely she felt the way about you that you feel about her. It doesn't happen that quickly.

Going through a divorce is a rough process. Emotionally and financially. Many men do crazy things during the process, I know that from first hand experience.

It is good that she showed her true colors so quickly. It could have been much worse. Imagine your lifetime problem if she talked you into a fiancee visa and marriage within the 90-day window. I know one man who did that 30 years ago, got divorced 29 years ago, and he is still suffering the financial consequences.

Have fun during your visits to Tijuana. But keep in mind that Tijuana is Disneyland for men, reality is something different. Cinderella doesn't live in TJ, but the wicked stepmother and stepsisters do.

Thanks guys and thank you for telling me the way it is. I've been married for too long to an ice cold woman and no sex I just had it that's why I am divorcing her. I guess maybe that is why I cannot control my emotions when a young and pretty girl wants something serious with an older guy like myself.

Shit I'm in my early 40's that's not old but she is 23 not a good matching number.

I am going to look for her and tell her how I feel about her lies and also I want to ask her what's the whole idea of doing this love crap acting or its just that she hate johns and want us to feel miserable? Anyone knows what is the best way to find her I mean who should I ask in the bar the meseros are hit and miss who else keeps girl's schedule in AB bar?

Maybe the right title is infatuation something I've never experienced before.Every chica in LZ has a sob story. Many of them use it as a quick and convenient way to gain sympathy (and a bigger tip).

Too paraphrase an old song I think you are looking for love in all the wrong places.

Look pal, most of these chicas are selling sex for money. But the better, more sophisticated chicas understand that they are selling a fantasy. A fantasy that is supposed to be maintained for an agreed upon length of time for an agreed upon price. If during that "fantasy time" you say how you are lonely and looking for love, the best chica actresses will play along and deliver a great performance about her being the one for you.

But its just a fantasy that you agreed to buy for a certain length of time for an agreed upon price. Nothing more.

If you are upset because you felt that she made promises to you that were not kept. Think about the fact that you promised her $150 for a TLN and then shortchanged her $30. You have expressed a desire to meet her again and get some kind of completion. Get some kind of explanation as to why she is really indifferent towards you now that she is off the clock.

I'm willing to bet that if she were honest about what she wanted to hear from you.

It would only be one short sentence that goes like this:

"Here's the $30 that I owe you".

Horney Traveler,

I guess you lucked out this time. In your case I guess this girl is young and not yet quite an experienced actriz. Maybe another year or so working the bar and she will learn to return your calls immediately and if she does everthing right soon she will have 4 or 5 #1 loves in her life. And soon she won't even have to work the bar to get her bills paid.

I would suggest rereading the posts from Scatman and Horse trader. They really made some valid points. Going into this thing you do have to remember you are entering fantasy.

Land when you head to Tijuana. Thats not to say you can not build a relationship with 1 of these girls and have great times with a beautiful lady south of the border. Just don't let your heart get to involved. It is so ridicules that we would look for love in a bar filled with prostitutes. But it is just to easy in that kind of enviorment.

And remember as Scatman stated once you become a customer any chance of it becoming a real relationship is doomed. In the future if you do feel some kind of chemistry go down and hangout with her. Just keep paying her for sex out of the equation. It is not that hard to hangout with her for awhile and then it is not that hard to find someone else to take care of the sexual gratification.

News update she's on me right now asking for rent money. After adding International service to my mobile I called her she answered and bullshit after bullshit conversation. She sounded sad and low and she was very happy to hear from me then she told me she didn't want to go to work because she was very tired but she was late on her rent Here we go.

I told her that I gave her $200 about 3 days ago she said that she paid the gas the utility bills and that she expended all the same day because in Mexico money don't last. I know for sure she doesn't have a padrote or buy drugs she's just a drinker.

Now the conversation goes for about 5 minutes and I asked her why she blocked me on facebook and she said someone else did it. After done talking she sent me a Wasap text asking me when I was coming back I told her next week and then she asked me for money $$ for rent today right now I was going to say yes but that would make me the king of suckers. I told her not today I will help next week than she told me ok Bye and to text her when in my way to Tijuana.

She sounded very low and sad my heart was saying send her the money by Western Union, but what you guys think should I send her just $100 for now just to make her feel a little better?? I think I will change my name to Forrest Gump.

I think I will change my name to Forrest Gump.Tell her you love her so much, you'll bring her a $100 the next time you spend all night together.

Win-win.

First, blanket statements like they're all lying slutz is as wrong as saying they're all angels simply struggling to make ends meet. All the girls have similar stories (or none would be working in hooker bars) but they're not all money-grubbing ho's. Yes, they need to be good actresses in order to sell their wares. Yes, if they spend too long in this business they can become very damaged. So would you if you dealt with the constant bullshit from lots of clients who treated you as a cumdump, a piece of meat, a masturbation doll with a pulse. I've spent enough time with various and sundry working girls in many parts of the globe, and, with very few exceptions, once you peel back a few layers of the onion you find a vulnerable woman who too often has a shitload of responsibilities and few tools to use in order to meet them.

One thing about these Latinas, they tend to be more emotionally driven than their gringa sisters. Maybe that night was a one-off due to her emotions. Maybe she likes you but is very cautious. They, too, have had their share of broken hearts and broken promises. So, you always have to factor "changed my mind" into the equation. Another thing you MUST factor in is drugs. A lot of the chicas take drugs and that will result in erratic behavior. Unfortunately, drug addition (including alcohol) is an occupational hazard. Too often chemical substances are needed to mask the pain of the work, the life, whatever. Another thing you MUST factor in is the mental health of these chicas. Bi-polar, or just plain bat-shit crazy, are things I've seen. You don't need to get involved in that sort of thing.

It takes some balls to confess that you've fallen for a BG. She caught you at a vulnerable moment. It happens to all of us, but few want to admit it. It's easy to say "don't do it," but you can't always avoid it. You just have to manage it. You don't give up everything and ruin your life over a BG. But you can enjoy the ride while it lasts. Ultimately, the head has to rule the heart. It's not easy.

I don't know this chick. You're probably lucky to have experienced this before it got too far along. It can go two ways. She likes you, or she thinks you're a mark. By all means, IF you have the spare dough, send her a few bux. NEVER, EVER, the first amount she requests. If she wants $100, send $50. It's a cheap investment. You'll find out on your next visit what it means. She'll be nicer, longer sessions, more GFE, whatever. Or not. If not, you're out a few dollars and it's a cheap lesson. Treat it as advance payment and make sure you get a return on your investment. NEVER give money that you can't afford to lose (seems obvious, but I've seen otherwise).

As an aside, one thing about BGs is that they don't make the money we think they make. Another thing is that most live hand to mouth. They always need something. Rent, gas, electricity, food, doctor, etc. , etc. , etc. Much of that is rooted in the Mexican "live for today" attitude, and much is that they really don't make a lot of money. The ones who do tend to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) it away. So, if you're going to participate in this to any degree, know that you'll be hit up for lots of these requests. In this case, as you demurred, she bailed and went looking for the next potential source. Don't read a lot into it, because she probably does need the money for rent.

If it were me, I would send a few dollars, but NO MORE than $100, IF you can afford it. If she doesn't treat you like an Aztec king on your next visit, blow her off and move on. It'd be a very cheap lesson. If she does, then proceed with caution, NEVER getting involved, financially, with more than you can't comfortably walk away from.

One last thing, the age gap is too great for a true "relationship. " Yes, larger age gaps are often the norm in MX, as well as other countries. 20+ years is generally unmanageable. 15 seems to be very doable, so if you're in the market for this sort of arrangement, look for somebody around 30. There are many.

Do you think there is a chance that she will move to LA and you can live happily ever after? Or, does she think of you as a walking ATM?

Phordphan says you should cautiously consider sending her a few bucks. If you do it, make sure it pays off big time on your next visit. Personally, I wouldn't send her a nickel.

If you want a meaningful relationship with a woman, see what you can find locally in LA. Maybe try something like POF or Match. If you want sex with a young hottie, TJ is great.

Man you got me thinking now. She stop asking for the money in advance should I contact her again and tell her I would send her $100?

I will be in Tijuana Tuesday can she freaking wait a day to pay the rent or she needs the dough for a fix she only drinks I didn't see anything crazy about her? She cannot be trust she blocked me on facebook / messenger and gave me a BS excuse about someone erased her contacts and her facebook account what a load of crap.

Is not about if I can afford it is about not to get rip off. What if she doesn't show at all to our F. K date? I can afford to lose $100 but I rather buy lotto tickets.

Great report Thanks!

You know this girl is an amateur because she blew it when she asked me for money on the phone. She told me that she misses me and then the word money for bills came out. She's not getting a dime until I see those legs spreading in front of me.

This monger needs a little advice. I am dating this young AB girl she used to live in the States and her English is very limited she talks like a normal Mexican girl but I'd notice some small gang affiliation tattoo on her that she always try to cover up.

What do you think can she be dangerous or working with some gang, she's a really sweet girl but she has a dark past. She's not gringa she's Mexican mix and told me she has family in the US.

Can she be a bad apple, a deported criminal or whatever. Anyways she is very sweet not aggressive or the homie kind behavior. . She told me she has a visa and lives in Tijuana with her younger sister and 3 year old son.

The ugly truth when she told me her boyfriend got killed when she was pregnant. I know her boyfriend was a gang member because I saw pictures of some of her friends with tattoos.

She told me she has a visa and lives in Tijuana with her younger sister and 3 year old son.If you are still falling for this girl, test her honesty about the visa. Tell her you will give her the $100, but she needs to meet you on the US side of the border.

My guess is she will have some excuse and she needs you to bring (or wire) the money to her. In reality, I don't think she has the visa (or border crossing card). Or maybe just not enough need to put forth that much energy for $100.

When they start dreaming up weird excuses for shit (an interesting Mexican trait, BTW) it's time to move on.

HT has a good idea. See if she can legally cross. I have a CL fave who can, and does.

Oh, and I didn't mean to imply that the bars are a good place to find a significant other or LTR. You can have a lot of fun with a steady MBGF, but if you're looking for a LTR you need to look elsewhere. Try MexicanCupid, or some other online service.

Yes, 2 bottles are probably technically illegal. I think the limit is one liter.

This chica appears to have a trigger finger when it comes to actions like banning others from her facebook page.

I take that as a sign that she's a long-time manipulator of lonely, socially inept mongers.

This chica obviously lied about the facts and circumstances as to how Happy Traveler got banned from her FB webpage.

That is another major sign that she is basically dishonest and unsuited for a relationship, which requires trust.

Both of these facts were revealed in Happy's initial post about the gangbanger chica, so I think anybody who encourages Happy T to pursue a relationship with this girls is probably being irresponsible. To suggest that he send her even a small amount of money (other than the $30 her owes her) is poor advice IMHO.

The fact that after just two nights of fucking this puta, Happy Trav states that he "is dating" an AB chica is also another telltale sign, and not a good one.

Are you sure you want be be one again that fast? IMHO you are really going real fast just to be with a complete stranger.

I think that you need to test your feelings by having sex with many many many different women. If you still feel the same about her after your 10th Adelitas chica, then consider your feelings possibly genuine.

I am not taking her seriously anymore I too playing the game the gifts are just part of a deal just to cover the extras.

She done it again, she is no replying or answering her phone anymore what a f. Ing beatCh!

WTF I was on the phone with her just yesterday and I told her I was coming to Tijuana Tuesday and she told me OK. I think she got upset because I didn't send her the dough like she want me to. I am glad I didn't.

I guess what really happen yesterday when she answered my call it was by accident because she didn't recognize the caller ID. Now she knows it is me and she doesn't care. WTF I told her I was coming soon with the money to help her, shit I don't understand why she does that??

What pain in the ass this AB girl is, she needs money bad and she doesn't reply my text or answers the phone anymore. Oh well I was going to blow $400 on her and now she's going to have to work her pussy twice as hard to make that amount in AB.

Let's play the game I will tell her I am coming with $500 cash and a nice watch for her and to meet me at San Ysidro on the US side and just wait there.

That will teach her to stop f. Ing around with her clients or If I see her again in AB I will talk about big money with her for going arriba and then I will take another girl.

Does it look like I'm pissed you betcha I am.
