None of the motels have 24 hour stays on weekends. Most do during the week but they will tell you upon check in. Although it's never 24 hours, it's usually until sometime the next morning.

Here is the report on my recent bombing run. I got down to San Ysidro this past Sunday around 3 pm. Due to other circumstances, I had a rather expensive rental car on this trip. That seems like a good option. I know I'll lose some in fees but feels relatively safe, assuming I find ATMs that work with the card in SD.

Thanks.I've always parked in the Hotel Leyva lot on Constitution. It's about 20 yards north of the entrance to Chicago Club. It's about five bucks a day. Be aware that they stack park the cars on the lower levels so you might want to stick to the top deck. The hotel is a two star at best but it's in the heart of the RLD. Unfortunately the lot was closed for repairs when I last visited a couple of weeks ago. Hotel Velario is a more upscale option with secured parking but the "ladies" in that area often have dicks that put mine to shame. Velario is on Calle Primera near the intersection of Avenida Miguel F. Martinez.

I've always parked in the Hotel Leyva lot on Constitution. It's about 20 yards north of the entrance to Chicago Club. It's about five bucks a day. Be aware that they stack park the cars on the lower levels so you might want to stick to the top deck. The hotel is a two star at best but it's in the heart of the RLD. Unfortunately the lot was closed for repairs when I last visited a couple of weeks ago. Hotel Velario is a more upscale option with secured parking but the "ladies" in that area often have dicks that put mine to shame. Velario is on Calle Primera near the intersection of Avenida Miguel F. Martinez.

Recommended 2/3-star hotel with secure parking near La Zona would be Leyva or Hacienda de Santiago, owned by same family, about $25 weekends including secured all night parking. All hotels in or near La Zona Norte are chicas friendly.

The 60-mile drive South along the coast to Ensenada is very nice with stretches of nice, clean, beautiful, wide-open beaches, dotted with bars, restaurants, curio shops, highly recommended for authentic tastes of life in Mexico. Ensenada is a very nice, clean, civilized town with loads of cruise ship passengers everyday, worth visiting.

Great view of all the pussy walking on E street when you get a front room, and there is talent getting rooms there occasionally. Just a knock on the door and your making fun. The Rodeway in National City has had a makeover to all the rooms, is very clean, within walking distance to the trolley and fast food. It also has talent taking rooms there too sometimes. Can you guys believe I've been living in SoCal for 5 years and this was my first time going to Tijuana? What an idiot! Anyway-Ill be going to Thailand next week for my third time in a little over a year and that's still my preferred destination.

As I'm a bullfighting aficionado and bot tix for the bullfight on Sunday at Caliente, I decided what better time than now to hit Tijuana. Walked across the border at ped west at 14:00, then proceeded to trek to my hotel (Ticuan). Decided to start it off light with some food and beers. Got a decent buzz going and headed for Hong Kong. Had it mapped out and took the "scenic" route down Primer Callejand Coahuila. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the SWs as there were 2 that I would have taken right then and there. Propositioned them and the same 45 bucks for everything applied. Still opted to goto HK for a quick session. (You can read my more detailed reports in the HK thread). Had a good time in there then left and got some food. Went back to the hotel, to freshen up and get some more money and we were back out. Having been to HK already I wanted to see what the other venues were like. Started at Chicago, and it was not very packed which was good. Had a drink and watched the girls in action. The general idea is that the minimum wage is $5 per day in Tijuana and $11.50 per hour in California. So it is generally always more bang for your buck to have dental work, upholstery, tailoring, car repairs and hotel stays in Mexico because the labor costs you less. Why you would want to stay in San Ysidro or Chula Vista when you get a better deal 10 minutes south of the border does not compute to me. Explain why you prefer to pay more in San Ysidro. 2 d, you avoid DUI problems or muggings by staying in your hotel room in Tijuana till morning. Why would you risk this by traveling at night in Tijuana? Third, restaurants cost much less in Tijuana. I just paid 40 pesos plus tip ($3) in La Perla for breakfast served at a table with freshly made salsa. So why try to go and spend more in Chula Vista?

Don't use any pharmacy at the border. They'll charge you 4-5 x as much. Highly recommend Piri, which is just east of the arch, maybe 1/4 mile. There are also other, slightly more expensive options on Revolucion that will still be much cheaper than anything at the border. As far as I know, they all will sell you quantities as small as a single pill.

Costco is in a very busy area and you'll have no problem finding a cab, at least during business hours and probably later than that. As for address, I can't help you there. No clue.

And generally, the further you venture off Revolucion, the more Spanish is required. Most taxi drivers understand English well enough. And a fair percent of the population understand enough. I don't speak much Spanish but get by. Unless you have a nuanced, detailed conversation, you'll probably be ok. But download Google Translate offline just in case.

The distance from PedWest to La Zona is around half the distance of the old entrance (I. E. PedEast) and can be walked in less than 10 minutes. You will be on the pedestrian path & bridge, and thus you will walk right past where the Wax Museum and Piri is located on your way to LZ.

Get a room at the Ticuan hotel in Centro. Install the app Whatsapp to help in communicating with escorts. Called up Western Union to find out if I can wire money to myself (or have someone else from the US be a sender and I be a receiver). Their response was it has to be a Mexican Citizen with a National ID, which is used to verify the receiver as well. If you have a trusted person in Mexico, this is the way to go! With the significant delta in exchange rates, seriously thinking about working with our office janitor (who has family in Mexico and visits) to get a few hundred dollars exchanged this way!

Was not my quote but I have spent time hunting massages. Obviously, it depends on what you are looking for. For full service, there is New Body (& a couple other similar outfits). IMO, they are way overpriced. You do get the benefit of "shopping". But you'll pay less for full service at HK. If you are looking for a good massage, Kalinca or Aztec are decent. My personal preference is the vivamex on revolucion. There are two. I use the one on the east side of the road. I was in SD for a day and had some extra time on hand, so decided to take a quick trip to the adult disneyland.

Went to the little tienda (store) on the corner of alley and Constitution (Fruteria Avitia IIRC) and bought a vitamin V and coconut water to take it. 85 pesos for both. I arrived in Tijuana relatively late after a long day of flights. The plan was to keep it low key since I was tired from the travel. I had requested an appointment with Adult Baja. It is good to go to if you are in the area. You have to remember that most people that post here either live in Tijuana or San Diego or pretty close. Don't know where you came from, but for thousands you could have been in Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Philippines and not have wanted to go back home.

This report should probably be divided among different threads, but for the sake of convenience I'm putting it here. I flew in to SD Tuesday morning, and decided to take the trolley to San Yadira just to try it out. It was easy, no problems. The only negative I would say is that it drops you at per east and I prefer per west. But whatever. I walked across with no issues, walked up to the cab line and said $5 Hong Kong and was whisked away. Cascadas let me check in early around 2 pm. I got a double in the new updated section. Yes, as I understand it, the passport card will do you no good for international air travel. For that reason, I never went that route. I really wish that wasn't the case because I hate carrying a passport book with me.

On the flip side, is this a concern in a border town? I suppose it depends on the circumstances but if I were local, I'd almost certainly rely on the card and feel the chances of needing to be medevac'd from Tijuana to San Diego are very low. I would think in all but the most severe cases, a land transport would be sufficient. But thankfully I really do not have any experience with anything like that so I can be totally wrong.


I read on another forum that it is strongly suggested the you bring your Passport book along with you when you travel to Mexico, even if you have the Passport Card. This just in case there is a medical emergency. I am just guessing but if you have to be medivac'd back to the states you are obviously flying in.

Can't give you much insight on the quality, but Caliente has a very large casino on the west side of Revolucion. I believe it's near 4th avenue. I've resisted the urge as I don't think my Spanish is sufficient enough. They also have what appears to be a smaller casino on the east side of Revolucion near 8th.


Can anyone recommend casinos in Tijuana? Curious what the biggest / nicest one might be. Thanks in advance!

Caliente Casino is in a nice, green, quiet Mexican pueblo courtyard, the largest and nicest casino in Tijuana, where classy Tijuana and San Diego people, including lots of unattached Mexican and San Diego's women and teens, gamble, party and have fun.

It's half a mile South of the border from Ped East, next to hotel Pueblo Amigo and the infamous Deja Vu strip club, where some skanky old girls strip to show off their bones, ribs and needle marks hehe. I am heading to Tijuana this Saturday, the 16th and I will be staying for about a week. This has been a difficult trip to plan and execute over the years, but I've finally been successful.
