For those who have a bullfight on their bucket list:

"Experience one of Latin America's cultural event in Tijuana, the bullfights. We offer tickets and tours from San Diego to the Monumental bullring, the only bullring next to the sea!

Sunday, March 29,2020 at 4 pm.

http://www.borderbullfights.com/ ".

Recommend watching Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza. I believe he is worth going to watch since he fights from horseback and is not the standard bullfighter. Expert horsemanship. Around 500 pesos for a cheap seat.Oh, I learned something. I thought they's stopped doing bullfights in Monumental. Apparently not.

Thanks for weighing in! I've seen bullfights in Madrid too. I enjoyed watching the amateur baseball, more for the community aspect than the sport of it. Ah, I wasn't sure if what I saw at Antigua Bodega was exactly mariachi, maybe there's another category for it. It was local music though. What is Antigua known for?

Oh, another add to my list is to see some Jai Alai, since there's that big place on Avenida Revolucion.

Which coffee shops did you visit in Jardines and are there other good locations?Antigua has lots of different performances. Plays, local musicians, that sort of thing. A different artist each week. They may have had a mariachi band there at some point, but that is not their specialty.

Jai Alai hasn't been played in Tijuana for decades. The fronton is now a concert venue.

Where are you getting this list? Jardines Playas is simply a neighborhood in Playas. It's being somewhat gentrified, so you'll find lots of coffee shops, small restaurants, taco stands, etc. I really can't think of anything going out of your way for. Wander around and you'll find something you'll like. Frankly, I like Sunset Lounge, but technically that's in Playas not in Jardines.

There's a local chain of coffee shops called D'Volada. They're all over. I like them, the coffee is good and prices reasonable. For higher end you can't beat Praga on Revolucion.

2 - No, there is no taxi service that crosses the border. That's on you. Once across an Uber or taxi is the preferred method, although the Zona Norte is within walking distance.

3 - El Copeo has dancing. Las Pulgas is the largest dance club in the area. Just south of that is Coko Bongo. On Calle Sexta are Blanco why Negro and La Estrella, both dance places. Also on the same street, La Mezcalera has a patio in the back where a DJ plays and there is dancing.

The International Farmacia on Calle 1, at the corner of the trinket alley across from the McDonald, will sell you all grades of Viagra, also any prescription drugs with no need for scripts, but prices will be slightly higher.

Or you can ask any farmacia to refer you to a doctor nearby for scripts. Doctors typically charge $10-15 per script.

There are reports of infection in CDMX and Baja Calif Sur, but nothing in Tijuana. San Francisco has a lot more infection cases than anywhere else on the West Coast.

I was in La Zona last Friday. Everything seemed normal. The bars still have all the usual crowds having fun. There was no worry.

You should be safe to go for a few more weeks until further reports on the situation.

Should I be trippin' about the Coronavirus this weekend in La Zona?

Most large farmacias on Revo have doctors' offices next to them, some have signs saying $5. They will direct you to the docs nearby. However the docs would diagnose, treat and prescribe only if you can speak enough Spanish to explain your problems. I suspect you speak Spanish a lot better than the rest of us.

A farmacia on the West side of Revo, near calle 2, has an old English-speaking doc who will treat and sign scripts for $5. Not sure if the doc is still there or he may have kicked the bucket.

The International farmacia on Calle 1 will quickly sell you any presc drugs without scripts if you know what you need.

Probably only take a few chica's up from HK, so no Adelitas hotel that night. Sunday will be a full day in Tijuana, so I'll take advantage of the $20 rooms at Adelitas, to have a place to charge my phone, and ditch the room fee for Adelitas chicas and peraditas. Published on Wednesday, March 11,2020 link https://mexiconewsdaily.com/news/coronavirus-case-identified-in-puebla/.

Coronavirus case identified in Puebla, the 8th in Mexico.

A German trainer at the Volkswagen plant has been placed in isolation in a private hospital.

An eighth case of the novel coronavirus Covid-19 has been identified in Mexico.

Health authorities in Puebla said late Thursday that a 47-year-old German man who traveled to Mexico to provide training to workers at the Volkswagen plant in that state had tested positive for the infectious disease.

The man recently traveled to Italy – where more than 10,000 cases of Covid-19 have been detected, the state Health Ministry (SS) said in a statement.

The ministry said that he doesn't currently have any symptoms of the virus, which can include a dry cough, fever, breathing difficulties and fatigue, and that he has been placed in isolation in a private hospital, where he will be monitored over the next 14 days.

The SS said that the man had contact with a group of workers at the Volkswagen factory and they will remain in home quarantine for the next two weeks.

Volkswagen México said in a statement that 40 of its workers had attended a training session with the German man and that they and their families will remain in isolation for 14 days to avoid any possible spread of the disease.

Confirmation of the eighth coronavirus case in Mexico comes as the disease spreads rapidly in many countries around the world including the United States.

Mexico City infectious disease specialist Francisco Moreno Sánchez believes that the real number of cases in Mexico is much higher, while Paul Hunter, a professor of medicine at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, predicts that new cases linked to the growing spread of the virus in the United States will show up in Mexico and other Latin American countries in the coming weeks.

Moreno said that Mexico should be carrying out more tests to detect cases of Covid-19, including passengers at Mexico's airports.

Mexico City health official Yareli Pérez said Tuesday that the Health Ministry is using thermal imaging cameras at the airport in the capital to detect passengers with high temperatures. Those with fever are interviewed and subjected to a health check, she said.

Efforts to detect passengers potentially infected with Covid-19 will intensify at the airport to "contain and prevent transmission," Pérez said.

All of the confirmed coronavirus cases in Mexico originated outside the country, meaning that there is no current evidence of local transmission. Three cases were detected in Mexico City, while Sinaloa, Chiapas, Coahuila, México state and now Puebla have seen one case each. Only one case was considered serious but the patient is now in stable condition.

The World Health Organization reported Tuesday that there were 113,702 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in 109 countries and 4,012 deaths caused by the disease.

Almost 81,000 of those cases and 3,140 deaths were in China, where the novel coronavirus originated in the city of Wuhan in late 2019.

My Calimax pharmacy is far from Revo, but they are a very big chain, so a little Googling should find one near you.

I buy the "Daily Dose" variant - 28 tablets, 5 MG each, for around 2,000 pesos ($100 dollars). The regular version is 20 MG, so I'm getting the equivalent of 7 20 MG doses for that price.

But YMMV due to quantity and dose.

I bought a box a box of Cialis in Rio, costed me about $10 a pill. First time ever used ED pills, I took the whole pill and had a hard erection for solid 36 hours. Since then I chopped the pills up into 4 or 8. Each sliver is more than enough for a dose.

I bought a box of Cialis with the hologram seal, looking authentic, from a large farmacia in Tijuana. The famacist swore they are genuine. The pills were fakes, did not do a damn thing. I wanted to kick that guy's ass. All other buys from China and all sorts of generic Cialis on line were all duds. Perhaps you should buy Cialis only from secure stores like Costco or US Pharmacies.

Bought generic Viagra from a web site advertised in this site, about $0.20 per 100 MG pill. I chop them into 6 and take only 20 MG dose for the second session of the night, just to make sure. It works every time, no side effects whatsoever. The hard erection also returns early the next morning.

Watch out for fake Cialis everywhere. Generic Viagra is not for everyone, but you should try the 100 MG generics from the web site.

BORDER & BAJA link https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/border-baja-california/story/2020-03-13/impacts-of-coronavirus-remain-mild-in-baja-california.

Impacts of coronavirus remain mild in Baja California.

Coronavirus not yet hit Baja California.

16 suspected cases of COVID-19 have been ruled out, while Baja California awaits results for six more possible cases.

By WENDY FRY.

March 13,2020 4:52 PM.

TIJUANA — With zero cases of coronavirus in Baja California, and 50 cases in its northern neighboring state of California, Mexican health officials said Friday they would consider limiting the southbound flow of people entering Mexico from the United States.

The daily ebb and flow of people crossing the border to reach jobs, family and schools continued uninterrupted Friday in San Ysidro, even as people worried about bringing the contagious virus home to Tijuana from the USA Side.

Mexican border agents wore plastic gloves and face masks while checking people into the country, but said travelers were not being questioned about their exposure or any potential health symptoms.

Fear over north to south travel is perhaps an unprecedented role reversal in USA -Mexico border discussions. Four people have died in California from the contagious disease, whereas Tijuana and Baja California officials have not documented a single case.

State health officials denied assertions Friday they were not adequately testing residents, offering testing locations in each city and phone numbers for concerned people to call for testing options.

SIMNSA, a Tijuana medical facility and health plan, has installed tents in the border region to screen the public for possible cases of the coronavirus and has thousands of rapid result testing kits, said its president, Frank Carrillo.

"We're very concerned about the virus here in Tijuana and we want to send a message to the San Diego community that we are taking proactive steps to prevent its spread," said Carrillo.

Carrillo said several of the screening checkpoints will be set up in the northbound pedestrian border crossings because it can be "a very dangerous and risky area" for the spread of the disease.

Tijuana resident Pilar Arellano wore a mask at the San Ysidro Transit Center while returning from an errand in San Diego with her mother. She said she almost refused to go to the United States, but she didn't want to let her elderly mother travel alone.

So far, Mexico has only detected 15 cases of the coronavirus with no deaths, much less than the more than 1,000 cases in the United States where more than 40 people have died from the virus.

"We're very worried. I'm not touching doors or any surfaces with my hand. I'm trying to maintain my distance from people," said Arellano, who works in Tijuana as a manager for a fabrics supplier.

Arellano said she was less worried about the possibility of a border shutdown.

"If they're going to close it, all you can do is stay calm. What else are you going to do?" she said.

José María Ramos García, a researcher in government and public administration at the Colegio de la Frontera Norte in Tijuana, said officials should focus on strengthening the bi-national health response to the pandemic before discussing border shutdowns.

"We must remember that about 35,000 to 40,000 Tijuanese go to work every day in the United States," said Ramos, pointing out that unemployment from a border closure could pose a bigger threat to people's health than the coronavirus.

"What has been done in this case by the corresponding health agencies, both the (San Diego) County and the state of California, related to this issue is what needs to be monitored," said Ramos.

"They (USA Officials) monitor what Mexico is doing with these five or six cases detected. I think (the number) is an indicator that we are on the right track, but in the case of the border, I think that coordination and cooperation should be strengthened," he said.

Just like in the USA, Tijuana residents have been stockpiling essentials such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer and non-perishable foods. People are also taking to social media to post pictures and videos of empty grocery store shelves, adding to the panic.

At a Costco in Buena Vista, a line stretched nearly the entire length of the warehouse Thursday. Shoppers waited for an employee to bring out additional cases of the Costco-brand toilet paper, taking it off his cart before he could unpack it. Other brands of toilet paper remained stocked.

Jorge Macías, the president of CANACO, Tijuana's chamber of commerce, said many of the shoppers are Americans who crossed the border to stockpile on items like toilet paper and bottled water that are sold out in the San Diego area.

"The recommendation from health officials is that we do not go to places with mass concentrations of people because the virus can spread exponentially," said Macías.

At Mercado Hildago, which is more like a farmer's market with fresh fruits and vegetables, a 47-year-old Tijuana resident said Monday she was taking all reasonable precautions, including wearing a mask in public, but she said staying home didn't yet seem necessary.

"Even if it's not the coronavirus, there are a lot of people with colds and the flu during this time of the year. It's just a really easy way to protect myself and to protect my health," said Dora Velia as she shopped.

Baja California Secretary of Health Alonso Pérez Rico said there has not yet been one confirmed case of coronavirus across the state, although officials are still waiting for the results from six suspected cases.

Of the 22 suspected cases, 16 have been cleared, he said. Health officials recommend people continue practicing healthy habits to prevent the spread of the disease, such as frequent hand-washing and avoiding very crowded public places.

Colleges and schools remained open Friday, and events such as concerts have not yet been canceled. A Friday night Xolos game, which typically draws thousands of soccer fans, was sold out. But officials indicated future games could be canceled, along with any events with more than 250 people.

The very well-attended Saturday morning community events held by the city of Tijuana were temporarily postponed, according to the mayor. The events provide social outreach and help in terms of legal advice, job placement and social programs.

"In principle, due to the cases of the coronavirus in the neighboring state of California, where we have a series of business and personal interests. I've decided to postpone, as a preventive measure, all the weekly events providing services on Saturdays," said Tijuana Mayor Arturo González Cruz.

Pérez said officials would draw on their past experience collaborating with officials in the United States to stop the spread of other cross-border illnesses. He also said Mexico has the advantage of seeing what has and has not worked in other countries to control the deadly coronavirus' spread.

"This scenario has already been seen. The disease is defined as a pandemic on several continents. We already knew that it was going to declare itself as such," said Perez.

Mexican Deputy Health Secretary Hugo Lopez-Gatell said Thursday authorities are considering ways to control the flow of people entering Mexico from the United States to limit the spread of the COVID-19.

"The possible flow of the coronavirus would come from the north to the south," Lopez-Gatell said. "If it were technically necessary, we would consider mechanisms of restriction or stronger surveillance. ".

The Tijuana mayor emphasized that measure, saying he is working with Baja California state health officials to implement better health checks on people crossing into the city from San Diego on foot each day.

Hard to be objective about Corona Virus in Zona Norta / HK or USA with the vast Chinese investment. #2 economy in the world with deadly eating habits denial.

HK's Asian clients has dropped in numbers recently.

With loss of many lives around the world, China would have a legal claim for cause of deaths.

Corona Virus is moving at a fast pace compared to other previous virus. US death toll estimated at the magnitude of 10 x flue seasonal death rate (Source CDC).

60+ and compromised being the bulk of deaths.

Social distancing and personal hygiene model our great hope. Limited contact tracing in a pandemic mode.

Why new diseases keep appearing in China.

TIJUANA With zero cases of coronavirus in Baja California, and 50 cases in its northern neighboring state of California, Mexican health officials said Friday they would consider limiting the southbound flow of people entering Mexico from the United States.

Jos Mara Ramos Garca, a researcher in government and public administration at the Colegio de la Frontera Norte in Tijuana, said officials should focus on strengthening the bi-national health response to the pandemic before discussing border shutdowns.

Jorge Macas, the president of CANACO, Tijuana's chamber of commerce, said many of the shoppers are Americans who crossed the border to stockpile on items like toilet paper and bottled water that are sold out in the San Diego area.

"The recommendation from health officials is that we do not go to places with mass concentrations of people because the virus can spread exponentially," said Macas.

Baja California Secretary of Health Alonso Prez Rico said there has not yet been one confirmed case of coronavirus across the state, although officials are still waiting for the results from six suspected cases.

I've decided to postpone, as a preventive measure, all the weekly events providing services on Saturdays," said Tijuana Mayor Arturo Gonzlez Cruz.

Prez said officials would draw on their past experience collaborating with officials in the United States to stop the spread of other cross-border illnesses.

There are a few things more useless than some random monger "opinion" on the topic of coronavirus. Nor do you need to re-post articles we can read literary everywhere else.

Stick with trip reports and the "facts on the ground" on what's happening in Tijuana and the border.

She's worried that she can't buy the essentials she needs because every damn gringo and his brother is coming to Tijuana and buying up everything in sight. A-hole gringos are forcing the locals to start hoarding stuff because it may not exist when the locals need it.

I was going to go to SJ this week, but CR authorities are shutting down bars. What's the deal in Tijuana? Is border crossing still ok? Are bars and streets still good to go? Thanks!

Any problems getting back into the USA on foot at the border? Haven't been there in years, I have a passport card which used to get me in the Ready line, don't know if that still exists. Wondering if the waits are long, what time of day is best, any medical checks delaying things etc. Etc. Gracias amigos.

Got texts from a few girls, HK and Chicago were open yesterday and today, but there were very few, like no clients.

These bars will close their doors soon due to lack of clients. Other businesses are being instructed by Tijuana government to close down.

If the close down lasts 2 weeks or more, lots of families will go hungry.

We the USA just closed the Canadian border. Canada also just closed its own borders to foreigners and Canadian citizens testing positive.

How many days before we or the Mexicans close the US-Mexico border? I dunno, I just don't want to be stuck on the other side if it happens. It's illegal to prevent an American from re-entering the US? Sure unless its a national security issue. This is a national security issue.

Just like the current EU travel ban doesn't apply to US citizens / residents going home.

The worse case scenario is that you may be quarantined for 14 days, if you're showing sickness symptoms when crossing back.

Jackie,

30,000 people cross the San Ysidro border everyday to go to work in San Diego. Now with more than 500 confirmed cases of CoVid19 in San Diego and 2 cases in Baja, Tijuana would soon have to close the border. The 30,000 workers and their families would go hungry, but it would be less costly than treating 5 million people in Tijuana with infection.

Baja already has 2 confirmed cases from people travelling to Italy and who knows how many more infected people without symptoms. The pandemic will be delayed behind San Diego but would most certainly hit Tijuana even harder. Based on previous virus outbreaks, we may be looking at 5 to 6 months before the infection is controlled.

I was already wearied of the outbreak on Sat Mar 7, but a new guy wanted to try Tijuana for the first time, so we went. Glad we had a few hot sessions with the chicas before Tijuana bars shut down.

We already decided to stay off Tijuana at least a few weeks until the situation clears up.

It is believed that all "nonessential" travel could be halted. Any action regarding the border with Mexico would likely be subject to legal challenges. Again, nothing concrete has been decided at this time with regard to the southern border, but it may be coming soon. I am glad I got my first and only trip to HK in last month.

We already decided to stay off Tijuana at least a few weeks until the situation clears up.The situation will not clear up in a few weeks. It will worsen. Your best bet unless you're prepared for no Tijuana action for an extended period of time is to squeeze in one last trip within the next several days. AMLO will not close entry into Mexico until he is forced to and it may get to that point. For now, he's being stubborn because the Mexico economy is faltering and closing off the country to Americans during peak tourist season would pour gasoline on it. When things do get out of control, he'll lose the discretion he's able to exercise at this moment. Thus, I'm making the next three days my last hurrah for the foreseeable future. With regard to anyone trying to instill fear of an inability to return to the USA, I think the others on this thread have effectively dispelled that myth. I'm an American and cannot be refused entry, period.

LuvMex,

We made the last run on Sat March 7. In a few weeks we would know how bad the infection will be in Tijuana. Does not mean it will be safe to go there and screw chicas.

If the evil force won't let you arrive until Thursday, you may be looking at a very evil and empty La Zona with all bars, hotels, stores, restaurants already shut down under the mayor's order. The chicas said HK and Chicago were open Sunday and Monday but there were very few clients. Bar owners were talking about shutting down even without city hall's order.

30,000 Mexicans cross the border everyday to work in San Diego. Some are bound to bring back the virus. But anyone ordering the border closing will piss off 30,000 hungry families. So I suspect Mexico wold just keep it open and bear the brunt of the infection, which would be many times worse than the US, may be approaching the levels in China or Italy.

But the virus seems to be more active in colder climate, Washington vs. Southern Calif, New York vs. Florida ect. So may be the warmer and drier parts of Mexico will be spared.

Up to now, only people with a fever were tested so many potential carriers with other corona-19 symptoms were denied testing due to a shortage of test kits, including me.

The only thing being put in place in a "couple of days" is you need a legit purpose for entry and the hobby does not qualify. Actually closing the border would be an economic catastrophe and never forget that the color green is what makes the world go round. And don't give me the national security nonsense because since when has the government given two craps about human life. For all we know the elites on capitol hill see this as a purge of the dregs of society: the poor, weak and the old. Now onto more important matters which is creating a legit reason to go. Perhaps I'll make some dental appointments and I'm sure some dental offices in Tijuana that have seen their business slashed would more than appreciate my business.

The Trump administration is limiting non-essential travel on the US-Mexico border and barring migrants illegally crossing the border from entering the US.

All Californians ordered to shelter in place.

My guess is that this the same procedure as the Canadian border. The Mexican immigration are probably screening people going into Mexico. The US customs officers are probably screening people going into Mexico. I suppose you can tell them you are going to visit your dentist. If anyone tries to cross border please report.....?

Going back into Mexico I got the green light but they were backed up a little and I got past the inspection without being stopped. It looked like they were inspecting all cars and the girl looked like she was going to stop me but the area was screwed up annd she could not get me into a space.

I always walk across the border. I crossed the Mexican border with my proof of application. I showed the Mexican immigration person my proof of application and my receipt from the UCSD processing center. They tried telling the receipt was not one. I argued with them for a few minutes and they let me cross.

Someone said that Mexican customs officers did not ask to see a passport or anything when they crossed into Mexico. My guess is that he looked hispanic and that is the reason why they did not question. Whenever I cross they always ask to see at least a passport. Now supposedly you can cross if youare going to see your dentist etc. All of this could change quickly if the Mexican govt decides to crack down. If anyone else has crossed into Mexico please post. ?

If you go from US to Tijuana for a doctors appt or to get medication do you have to show proof either going into Mexico or when you go back to the US? I get some of my medication at Tijuana pharmacies because it's too damm expensive in the US. Will they let me in for that? Also do I have to show proof or some kind of prescription or something?

I've entered via Pedwest a few times late at night and been waived through after flashing my US passport. My guess is like most employers, they stick the young newbies on the undesirable night shift. They're already unhappy with their shift so perhaps their effort is lackluster. On a couple occasions, I was asked for the duration of my stay and when I replied a few hours I was waived through. On a couple other occasions late at night I was waived through without a word simply a hand gesture. My guess is if you're looking for lax enforcement of the essential travel requirement, entering 10 pm or later might be the ticket.

OK, so obviously going to Tijuana from the USA for fun would not qualify for "essential travel". But my question is, can I, as a US citizen, get into Tijuana from San Ysidro either by walking in or driving in, period? What if I tell them I've visiting a relative, or getting dental work which I could prove with a receipt (I actually do need to get dental work, but was also planning on getting an outcall escort at a hotel also which I wouldn't tell them obviously). Before anyone lectures me about the dangers I'm simply going to get the dental work and an escort, not make out with random girls at HK LOL. It seems like its not an issue getting back to the USA as I have my passport but can anyone comment about the possibility of me getting into Tijuana from the USA now currently?

I guess another option would be to fly into Tijuana from lax? Thanks.

https://www.borderreport.com/regions/california/city-of-tijuana-finally-goes-on-coronavirus-lockdown/I drove around Tijuana today and restaurants are pretty much all still open. And patrons are dining in, not just ordering takeout. Tacos el Franc was about half full of customers at 6:30 pm. Carls Jr was open for business. La Chuleta had some patrons dining in. I did drive past HK though and it was dark. Coahuila and the surrounding area had a decent amount of activity buzzing around. Taco stands on the corners were open and the low-lifes were strutting up and down the street as usual. Saw a handful of SG posted up around LG. Didn't go to the alley though.

US citizens are allowed into Tijuana if for Medical appointments or other essential business. This includes family and other things. The latest info is that Mexican immigration has not been asking. I believe that the Mexican immigration are bit more strict. The policies are probably in a state of flux now. Your best option is go down in the afternoon tell them you are going to see your dentist if they ask.

When Covid-19 starts to spread in Tijuana, I'll just say this. This city is going to be fucked. People here HAVE NO CLUE what this illness entails. Only 45% of Mexicans graduated high school. They don't have the faintest clue on how biology works. This is a city where it's the norm to have a taquero grab raw meat with his bare hands then immediately grab a tortilla and start making someones taco. I've been out and about Tijuana the past 3 days. I visited a public restroom 4 times. Twice at Carls Jr and twice at Walmart. All four times the men's restroom was completely out of soap. And this is Walmart who stocks a shit ton of liquid soap. Just about every time I was greeted by someone, I was offered a handshake. I saw not a single instance where social distancing was being practiced. The virus is going to spread like wildfire here. Add to that the hundreds of thousands of people who rely on the taxi de ruta as their primary mode of transportation. You know, those bloated minivans of all different colors that reach every corner of Tijuana. You stuff 8-12 strangers in each taxi and one of them sneezes. The virus just multiplied its host count by 12 x. A vaccine is the only thing that's going to save Tijuana.

I think people are aware of the virus. The problem is that AMLO is in denial and there little testing going on. The other problem is that Mexico's health care system is in shambles and govt has been cutting back funding to reduce the budget. My guess is that the Corona virus will spread like wildfire. Only outside help will slow down the Coronavirus in Mexico.

At the Entity, at the moment there are 120 people suspected of contagion of coronavirus; 55 in Mexicali, 43 in Tijuana, 17 in Rosarito, 3 in Tecate and 2 in Vicente Guerrero.

The state official confirmed that Baja California is in tenth place and represents 3. 4 percent nationwide of positive cases of coronavirus.

There are about 126 Million people that live in Mexico, yes, 126 MILLION! As of today, Mexico is only reporting 848 cases; WHY?

I have a couple of thoughts as of why:

First, the priority is putting food on the table. If they tell someone they are sick, they might lose their jobs or even worst for them; to be quarantine.

I would bet that even the people that have work visas in the US and are sick, I seriously doubt they would report themselves.

Tijuana and the rest of Mexico will be a mess for quite a while.

If I'm still able to cross without a problem then that would be great. . . If anyone has crossed the border to Tijuana without a problem let me know.I just got back from two day trip to Tijuana. Entering Tijuana by foot from San Diego was as easy as ever. No agents manning the foreigners lane, a couple of agents on the Mexicans lane. I walked down the Mexican lane (though I'm American) towards the agents and no questions asked, they didn't even ask for ID, just waved me in with a "buenas tardes." The bars and restaurants were closed, but there were still quite some people out in La Zona, and quite a few street girls out actually. Since the bars are closed, streets girls may be picking the slack of business, but overall they told me it was slow. Many of the food stands were still open. There was even a small restaurant that defied the ban and stayed open. Returning back to the US was easier than ever, since no long lines. I crossed back into the US at 12:30 noon, and there were only three people in front of me at the gate. Only questions asked were "Where are you going? Why did you go to Mexico?"
It's a myth that the border is closed, citizens and permanent residents are allowed to enter the US as usual.

The reason (kind of joking) that there are less cases is because their bodies are used to all kinds of viruses. They have built up immunity at higher levels. It's like when I visited Varanasi India last year with a buddy. Indians could swim in the polluted Ganges river with out getting sick and if I tried that I would have had gotten sick for sure.

The situation with corona virus is better on the Mexican side. 20 cases in Baja California (10 Tijuana, 10 Mexicali). Meanwhile, California USA has 5591 cases (LOS Angeles county 1804 cases, San Francisco bay area 1765 cases, San Diego county 488 cases). It's denial.

30 days ago, we in the USA reported very little Covid19 positives because we failed to have enough testing kits. Hell, I had all of the fucking symptoms and was denied testing even after I begged my health care for testing. This was last week.

We are vamping up testing kits manufacturing. I think we are aiming for 150,000 to 200,000 new kits per day starting Monday. Hopefully we can send extra testing kits to Mexico once we fully mobilize. Trade them kits for Frigarel. Win-Win agreement.

Buddy of mine was in ZN last week. He has corona this week, all symptoms except coughing. He asked his San Diego doctor for a test, denied. There's hardly any testing here in affluent biotech-heavy San Diego. Hope the situation is better at some point in April, because right now it's shockingly bad.

What was your response to "Why did you go to Mexico? My response was "dental work," and generated no follow up questions or comments. It's very common for people to Tijuana for dental work, and in fact most business are still open (non-bar/restaurant). For instance, I got my hair cut at a barbershop, only the barber was now wearing a face mask. The hotel I stay at was functioning as usual, just fewer guests.

Strobert,

Mexico would just not test anyone and claim 0 CoVid19 infection.

They also don't count bodies piled up at the morgues.

Guys start reporting getting CoVid19 from Tijuana. They probably infected a few other people and dozens of chicas.

Soon people will be dropping on sidewalk, waiting to die.

Best to stay of Tijuana for now. Stay and the house. Don't go anywhere. Monitor news to see when it's safe to go out of the house.

A chica I know in Tijuana who used to waitress in la gloria bar and gives spectacular BBBJ with CIM texted me earlier saying she needs money and she wanted to come by with an amiga of hers who she says has a big booty and is real wild in bed. She sends me some pics of her amiga and I replied yes I'd love to hang out with why'all but I've been having symptoms headaches, fever, shortness of breath which is true even though I feel ok right now. She says they don't care about that they still want to hang out. Their exact words were "no pasa nada" and "eso es lo de menos", totally disregarding the fact that I could possibly give them the coronavirus. By this time we're in a whatsapp group chat and both are wanting to come over even though I'd just told them I'm freaking sick. I almost lost it and came close to calling them gran PENDEJAS. They said the only problem is they don't have a ride. I guess the wanted me to send them a Didi / Uber or drive through the curfew lockdown to pick their asses up. After that I just quit replying to the chat. They texted back a couple times with the question marks " And I just didn't reply.

I was completely amazed at how crazy / stupid these broads are. I don't know if they didn't believe me or they think the coronavirus is no big deal but jeez how can they be so reckless. I hope there aren't many more people in Tijuana who have the same nonchalant attitude. That's freaking scary.

I don't know if I had corona or not but whatever I had it seems to have gone away, for now. But dang I don't want to get close to anybody at all just in case, especially some putas who don't even care if they catch corona or not. Wtf!? Seriously.

Seriously.Girls who bang strangers, who can give them many other diseases from a cold to the flu to hiv herpes, or flat out beat them or worse, when that's your job, it's hard to be scared of coronavirus. If someone is under 40, and doesn't smoke, even if you get coronavirus the odds you end up dead are probably 1 in 2000 or maybe 1 in 5000. We are talking really low odds. There's other things more deadly for those girls to be worried about.

But I think this illustrates the difference between the Mexican and US economies. More than half of all Mexicans work for their next meal. To some, paycheck to paycheck is a luxury. Many are day to day. I've seen some say Mexico has no social net in place. In fact they do. But they sure are not getting $1200 checks. They are very fortunate if they qualify for $100 a month.

I'm not justifying the actions of these chicas. But I do sympathize with the challenges many face. Take a chance and earn my next meal? Or go hungry?

I do not see, even in the worst projections, where the US economy leads to that level of despair. But I do appreciate those in the government that are looking months down the road and putting the pieces back together, and limit the devastation.

Life in Mexico is normally precarious for 90% of the population, living hand to mouth from 1 day to the next. With CoVid-19 shutting down almost all economic activities and evaporating earnings for most people, a lot of people, including putas' families, their children and elderlies, will start going hungry in the next couple weeks, if not already. A few girls have been texting me offering their companies out of desperation.

I don't want to go down screwing girls and potentially catching the virus until we have reliable data how the virus has been wiped out of Tijuana. Starting a food bank is not practical and not sure it will be appreciated by the chicas. I think the best way to help broke chicas, whom you know fairly well, is to loan them some money periodically, so they can get over the worst time in the next 2 to 3 months. Don't give them a big lump sum as they may spend it all on weed. After that you can claim credit in whatever ways for your loan money.

One of my wingmen was very close to a pretty HK girl, taking her to bed again and again, out to dinners, club and dancing ect. She had 3 kids and her husband was in federal pen for 10 years on drug charges. Tijuana chicas make very good incomes in Mexico's standards, but few can manage their finances, and most have money problem from one day to the next. One day she asked him for a $200 emergency loan. He asked for my opinions. I thought she had been working steady in HK and Tropical over 1 year so she would unlikely run away. Also he could easily claim credit with 2 sessions with her. So he sent her the money. He did get his money back in a few weeks. He also got a few hot GFE sessions from her free of charge after that. She was in love with this nice, generous, helpful guy, hugging, squeezing, kissing him on the street, could not let go.

This same nice guy one night bought HK's spinner America 10 Tequilas consecutively, and did not get to screw her. Hehe.

Send a little money if you like, but don't call it loans. You won't get it back. You won't collect it. Maybe you'll get one screw at most, but debtors are resentful and forgetful. You'll expect gratitude but you're more likely to be ghosted. Nobody likes their lender.

Over the years I learned a # of girls, under 30, will write me asking for money from their hometown, and say they will be back to Tijuana in a week. I don't send money and they don't return. 1, I gave 50 to once, it was a big mistake, like giving food to a group of pigeons. She came hard it me quite often. I literally have no money. And scraped 50 for her at the time. Keep in mind these girls are banging guys in their hometown for $ I'm sure. Maybe for 20 30 bucks. I still see girls working in the states online. Anyway, really miss tijuana I drank alot, in Tijuana, like 6 days a month, and occasionally in san Diego. Now drinking would be depressing, I've had 3 beers in 8 weeks. I cannot duplicate hk vibe in my living room. I feel like I went to solitary confinement jail over here.

Buy a dozen blown-up plastic dolls, spray some cheap perfume on them and lean them against your apartment's walls. Your apartment would look exactly like HK or Coahuila alley on weekend. Then you can drink again!

I know some of you are still crossing back and forth for reasons beyond me.

I will not risk losing my Senti / GE / TSAprecheck OR getting sick just to play with a puta or two.

Every time you cross back in the US, the agents have records of your crossings. And so many dental appointments will not sit after a couple.

I have used WU once too but I believe their offices are closed. At least I know they are closed in Havana because my desperate chica who is stuck in a shitty apartment with her mom told me. They are under a strict quarantine. I recharged her phone and will get extra long BBBJ's when I can get back there.WU and MoneyGram can be collected in the supermarkets. Also at Coppel and Elektra, assuming they are still open.

It's no surprise that the cartel and criminals are increasing the killings now that the police / military are staying home.

If you think you have a high risk tolerance, want to guess what the risk tolerance for criminals and cartel members are?

With business (racketeering) slowing, I wonder if the Tijuana cartel will go back to kidnapping and torture like they used to specialized in.

If you drive into Tijuana for "dental works," consider removing your California "fresh meat" license plates, wear a hat and look Mexican.

In my mongering career I've wondered two things. How come guys don't post names and at times don't write how much they paid a chica. I've thought is got to do with PLM stuff. And now with the Corona going on guys on this site and on CB are posting tips on how to send money to their chicas. I think in this situation is the right thing to do. I still can't help but laugh every time I read these kinds of posts but still I'm supporting you guys. This brings me to the second part of my question. Sometimes when I posted the damage in my reports I didn't want to do it cause I was embarrassed about overpaying for what I got in return. And now look at where we're at.

The above was a pull quote from the second article. The first, too, dealt with increased drug cartel violence.

So, do you have any evidence to show that, then or now, American tourists were / are being targeted by cartels? Do you have any evidence to show that cartels are targeting cars with CA plates, of which there are about a bazillion in Tijuana.

As another poster said, we'd all be better off using critical thinking instead of accepting what is spit out in the media. If even 20% of what the media portrays Tijuana to be were true, I would never return.

If I were a cartel leader and someone in my organization kidnapped, executed or otherwise targeted an American, that someone would see a six feet deep hole in the desert. The reason is it's simply bad for business and perhaps even more so now with Trump. I'll explain. The cartels have to know that any harm to an American will illicit a response and perhaps a severe one. They also likely understand that the current president is just a tad more rash than ones past. The last thing they want to do is poke the bear. Again, if I were a cartel leader, I would not want to do anything to disturb the status quo because I'm making oceans of money and AMLO certainly isn't going to get in my way unless big brother to the north twists his arm to the point of breaking it. The plausible it was a case of mistaken identity massacre of the Mormons near the Arizona border was a Mulligan and the cartels likely understand that it will be the last. Just my two pesos in support of Phordphan's general point that Americans in Mexico should worry more about general street crime than constantly looking over their shoulders for the cartel.

Funny to hear someone say "mongering career" . It really can be!

Guys are constantly saying what they paid for a girl on this forum. Your correct about the names I guess for a little privacy but it would be interesting to see what a girl is charging other people.

I am not to embarrassed to share what I paid if it was too much. It's a good way to learn from others. Yea. It is a "guys" club a bit so I will get some grief but it's OK, as most of the guys on the board seem perty supportive of each other and also one of the good things about being over 50 years old, is others don't get "a vote" on how you feel about yourself.

In-other-words, what others think means less and less as you get very comfortable in your own skin and know that if I lived the life of someone else I would think just like them, and if they lived in my shoes, they would be making the exact same decisions so don't go to hard on others as we all have our "filters" that we view life through.

You also have to figure your time. Time is money and if you spend 2-3 days traveling that adds a tremendous amount to your trip. My last couple of trips to Moscow I had major delays. The airlines compensated some, but I was still out of pocket money. Not to mention missing additional work. Also, some of these guys are on the commuter 2-3 hours a day researching, they forgot to mention this.

One night a few years back, I already had a couple sessions with the chicas and was sitting at HK's Kowloon bar, sucking down beers to recoup, watching the strip show and the hundreds hot girls wandering by.

Sitting quietly next to me was a nice, slim, clean cut, wholesome young Mexican guy in his mid 20's, wearing ordinary jean, a white polo shirt and tan wind breaker. He was sitting quietly on a stool, not drinking, not smoking, not moving, his eyes fixated on the stage, but not a single mesero or chica approached him to sell drinks or sex. Then a procession of HK's managers, MC, security bosses ect slowly walked past the guy, shook his hand, nodded their heads respectfully. The guy shook their hands but did not move, gesture, say anything or look at them to acknowledge; his eyes were glued on the stage. I suspected he was a local hot shot, but he looked so young, nice and clean. I scanned the club looking for his bodyguards, but did not find anyone resembling muscles. He appeared to sit there all by himself.

In Oct 2019, Mexico's Policia Federale apprehended El Chapo's oldest son, Olivio Guzman, in Culiacan. The Sinaloa cartel mounted a massive military operation, burning cars and buses, blocking streets, shutting down the whole city, assaulting policia headquarters. Under-armed and undermanned Federalis had to release Olivio Guzman. The pics showed he was the guy sitting next to me in HK that night. Allegedly Olivio has not and is not involved in the Sinaloa cartel's drug trade, only his 2 younger brothers.

https://nationalpost.com/news/world/nine-soldiers-kidnapped-19-injured-mexican-government-releases-details-on-botched-capture-of-el-chapos-son

I suspect the cartels, chicas and workers in La Zona have very good situation awareness and know a lot more about the people hanging out in their work place than you can guess. Take this info for what's it's worth and act accordingly.

I guess if you don't have Senti / GE / TSAprecheck. Then your only worries will be getting sick."You can't fix stupid," Ron White.

Just the thought of getting sick is enough to prevent me from going out unnecessarily.

I never do BBFS for the same reason. I want a long, healthy, and happy mongering career.

Until recently, I would not have thought that my GE status would have been at risk when Shelter In Place was recommended.

However, now that they are actually citing people for failing to shelter in place and follow the mandates, it could come up as a minor criminal activity and give them a reason / excuse to reject renewal.

I have not missed a flight in four years, because I am able to avoid long lines and keep my shoes on.

I LOVE my GE card and don't want to give them an excuse not to renew.

Funny Story:

I walked near the head of line at the old border crossing.

An old guy (guessing late 60's or early 70's, traveling solo, and likely a fellow monger) said harshly, "You are not going to cut in front of me!

The BP officer had just stopped the crowd from going though the gate, pulsing the long line.

I replied in a civil tone, "I have Sentri. Do you have Sentri?

The BP officer heard my reply and shouted at me over five other people that she had just cut off from entering the screening area, "Sentri? Come on through. ".

I stepped up. Showed my card, and proceeded to the Sentri line where one other person was waiting to be screened.

Sorry dude. I wasn't being rude; I was just exercising the privilege. Be careful about the assumptions you make.

I posted it in other forums, broadcasting here for more eyes.

During these critical time specially for WGs, I feel I should support one of the girls I met last year in Tijuana. She was particularly nice to me not just in bed but otherwise too. The problem is I deleted all the contact info I had back then. No Whatsapp backup, No other form of interaction history, and to top it all I even forgot her name (burying face in hands).

But I still feel the urge to do something, so I am posting it here to get any idea or may be contact of someone who may have contact of that chica. Here is what I know:

She was working in Maria Bonita MP in May last year. She was short and plump, huge tits. Her name was something like Tia or tinny. I thought of calling Maria Bonita but not sure if that is a good idea.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks brethren,

Kplayer.

You learn a lot from guys who don't leave out the important stuff. I've crossed the Atlantic three times with my buddies. Two out of three times I got sick so I'the like to say it isn't worth it for me. I blame it on being cold inside the plane. And two out of three times we went to three different countries each time. I've been exhausted and unable to adjust to the time zone. Last year we were waiting for our plane to go to Barcelona at Charles De Gaulle and my buddy calls me over so I can call a casa.

Inside the plane my buddy is looking at puta sites and is making me laugh. I told him that my head is hurting from all this research and he agrees. I'll never forget being at Paseo de las Delicias, 127 in Madrid. Is a building with four floors of chicas. Inside is like a maze with chicas everywhere. I ran into this chica and tells me sarcastically that she likes my enthusiasm. I felt all drugged from the medication. That day I could barely fuck two chicas, I ran out of euros, I ran out of gas, and I didn't even pop. On our way to Europe I was like I'm going to run through that building but I was so wrong. My buddies have brought up the fact that going with chicas overseas takes a lot of time from doing other things.

There's been several killings of Americans in Tijuana the past few years and the American federal government did absolutely nothing about it.I have to agree with LuvMexicans. Let me give you an example to add a little perspective. A few years back, I was with a friend of mine that lived in Nuevo Laredo. One night, both of us went to a bar in NL where live music was being played. I ventured to the rear of the bar to use the restroom. I momentarily stopped to listen to the band, prior to entering the restroom. A local looked at me and asked me what I was looking at. I replied, I am looking at the band. He responded by saying that I was looking at his girlfriend, of which I emphatically denied. As I turned to go to the restroom, he kicked me in my ass. And I mean hard. I grabbed him by the collar and told him to "chinga su madre. " We were immediately broken up by the bouncer, who walked me back to the other side of the bar and told me that I didn't want anything to do with this guy cause he is cartel. I walked back to where my friend was standing and told him what happened. He became very upset and asked me to point the guy out, of which I did. My friend said, I know this guy. He walked over to him and threw a punch and knocked him out. I begged him for us to leave the bar, of which we did. He called me the following Monday and said that this guy's boss, of whom he also knew, just about had him killed. That it is a no no to mess with gringos and bring unneeded attention. He also assured my friend that I would not have any future problems coming to this bar. That I would be protected.

Just off the top of my head, there were many murders and kidnaps in the last few years.

2 young gringas were murdered in Rosarito.

1 SD high school grad was murdered in Ensenada.

A SD surf champion was kidnapped on the way to Ensenada; his wife gang raped in front of him.

1 guy had a money dispute with a puta working out of a bar near PV's cruise ship terminal. He ran out of the bar, was chased down and shot to death with a Colt. 45.

2 med students in Guadalajara from LOS Angeles were kidnapped and tortured for ransom when they went to a bad neighborhood one night looking to buy drugs. After 1 week, 1 family paid ransom and 1 guy was released, the other guy was tortured and shot to death in front of an apartment building. The surviving guy swore he did not see anything or anyone and did not remember what happened to them. He was very scared.

1 LA guy from botched a drug deal and owed the cartel $200 K. He went down to Michoacan to negotiate payment and got kidnapped. His family was instructed to bring $200 K cash to a clothing store in the garment district. They went to the FBI. FBI investigated, baited and raided dozens stores, found $50 M cash. Stores in the garment district would swap drug cash in LA for shipments of clothing to importers in Mexico who then pay cartels with pesos.

May be many more in other states I have not heard.

I am not trying to provoke hysteria, but the facts are there have been quite a few murders and kidnaps of US citizens in Mexico with not much LE's heat brought down, but the rate of major crimes is probably lower than in LOS Angeles or Riverside counties. Murder of federal agents like Enrique Camarena would bring down heat, but it took DEA over a decade to finally capture the 2 guys who did the murder. They could not pin the hit on El Chapo.

Murders and kidnaps of ordinary US citizens won't excite federal officials into taking quick, serious actions. State Department already warned travelers of Mexico.

It would be necessary in order to determine who's guilty of a murder. I recognize this fact. That is why I just said "killings" because who really knows who the guilty party is. You seem to be able to conclude that cartels are guilty of various killings. But we all know that Mexico law enforcement is severely corrupted and incompetent and is incapable of reliably determining who the true murderers are. So your contention presumes a competent criminal justice system exists, which it does not.

A few American citizens getting killed in Mexico will elicit absolutely zero USA Federal response. None. There's been several killings of Americans in Tijuana the past few years and the American federal government did absolutely nothing about it.It's not a "USA Federal response" they're worried about. There's not much the "USA Federal" could do anyway besides cooperate with Mexican authorities, sharing intelligence. Mexico is a sovereign nation. The "USA Federal" holds no jurisdiction past the border.

What the cartel would be worried about is the extra heat and attention that killing / kidnapping an American would bring. For instance if / when an American gets attacked or killed in Tijuana it at least draws attention from the press. A news article will be written about it. The family will make some noise and the chief of police will be pressured to do something, because they don't want the bad press as it will have a negative effect on tourism and the perception of safety which could discourage people from doing business / investing in Tijuana.

The risk / reward factor makes attacking / killing Americans an unattractive endeavour. The cartels have much bigger fish to fry so to speak.

That place in Madrid sounds amazing. Course probably Eruo prices are $200 to get fucked? Still sounds like a great experience. What I do love about the mongering world is the variety. Each country with their own little twist of sex for sale. It's a regular Walmart variety of products.

I always go to Asia over thanksgiving or Christmas as it's warmer than Europe but I want to go check out Colombia or some of the other places that are still warm but not so expensive.

Yup is all about detailed reports.

Considering the demand for sex in Tijuana and the virus stuff I am surprised they have not come up with some type of "glory hole" type of experience where you have this girl that is a "10". Covered in a see thru plastic bag. . except for her pussy where the guy can have a little fun and still be protected. LOL.

I am joking but still would be kind of fun!

Tried crossing into Tijuana and Mexico is now enforcing esssential travel restrictions. !! The Mexican immigration person denied me entry into Mexico this evening. They are only allowing people to cross that have medical emergencies. I was told that if you have a prescription they will let you cross. So will try crossing next week. Really irritating to that they started enforcing this rule. I was really looking forward to a great BBJ / facial from Kayla. Thanks for the info. Did you go by foot or by car?

I heard there is curfew in Tijuana. But I am hearing mixed reports about it. A friend that lives in Tijuana tells me there is a curfew. But Mexico's president has said there is not a curfew (https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=https://mvsnoticias.com/noticias/mitos-covid-19/falso-mexico-tendra-toque-de-queda-por-covid-19/&prev=search). So I am uncertain what the truth is. ? It is possible that the curfew was implemented by Tijuana's mayor of the governor of Baja. ? If anyone hears any more news please post. ?

Just heard SW that lives in the Zona that the police are not enforcing the curfew rule. She also said that she bribed gave the Mexican immigration officer $10. When I crossed they seemed pretty serious about enforcing the crossing restrictions. She wanted me to come and see her tonight. But I did not feel like taking another risk of being turned back. So I will probably wait till Thursday or Friday to visit Tijuana. I would advise everyone to use due caution until more is known

Why would a chica who lives in the zona "bribed gave the Mexican immigration officer $10"?

I just texted a one of my favorite door girls yesterday and she said she's still in TJ working the day shift. 11am to 6pm as usual. She said she would be there today. I was tempted to go see her but I chickened out. She said she'd come by my place (I'm currently holed up in an apartment in TJ) but she's not gfe (AFAIK) so I figured I'm not paying full price for delivery for a non-gfe chica when I know others who give better service full gfe, bbbj the whole nine yards.

I'll probably break down one of these days and head to the zona to check out the scene, but it won't be at night. I'm sure the zona cops are hurting for cash and probably looking for any excuse to shake down a gringo. All that stuff about "official" lockdowns and curfews probably won't mean anything to a crooked cop who makes up the rules as he sees fit.

I've heard Mexican customs in San Ysidro has been much more lenient on Americans crossing the border by car as opposed to crossing by foot, where they've been more strict about turning people back on foot unless they have documented proof of essential travel purposes? Any truth to this?

I do fear non-essential travel across the border might be prohibited for much longer than people think, given 1) that Mexico appears to be behind the USA In terms of reaching a peak for infections / deaths (thus they may not consider it safe to open their non-essential business until later in the year after the USA Opens back up) and 2) Mexico's relative lack of resources in fighting the virus which may result in lengthier closures in their country.

For me that building in Madrid is what I like. Cheap pussy and a lot of options. I think I paid 20 and 25 euros but I don't remember. It's like a la zona with perhaps more problems if you watch the video. And I'm not sure about the legality then and now. There's every flavor inside that building. We also went to the one with the blue windows but there wasn't anything there. The building I'm talking about is at 3:19. My buddy never made it out of the first door so he never made it up the stairs. Chicas got him there. My other buddy stayed behind. I didn't disappoint cause I saw every room possible and made it to the top.

Tijuana is a few weeks behind SD but when the shit hits the fan it will spread rather quickly.

Normal day operations in Tijuana are barely predictable. I can't imagine what happens during a pandemic emergency.

My best wishes to the people down there. I really miss being in my second home but it is too dangerous to be there now.

You honestly believe a working girl is going to pay you back. I strongly advise you not to do so. Save yourself some future heartbreak. Just let her know you can't right now money is tight. You can still cross by car Cascadas is still open ask to meet there and take care of business if not see her when you can.

JH.Unless you have fake ID and credit cards to match, you're going to find it difficult to send money, at least via the computer or phone app. I *think* you can still send it with a phony name in person at a Moneygram brick-and-mortar shop.

My best wishes to the people down there. I really miss being in my second home but it is too dangerous to be there now.I think the general population in Tijuana will be ok, just because they're taking precautions for the most part, social distancing, washing sanitizing hands, etc etc. Now the homeless drug addicts that live in the sewers and alleways those people are going to be f*cked. I'm just guessing, but those bastards don't seem to have the slightest clue as to how to be clean or sanitary. When I spent 30 hours in the Tijuana jailhouse we were fed "sopa" which was some macaroni noodles in a spicy soup served in a plastic drinking cup, and also some sweet cinammon flavored rice soup. I gave mine away to my cellmate. I wasn't about to even try to eat that stuff even though I was hungry and it did look and smell pretty good to be honest. Every single other inmate in there was scarfing that stuff down, passing the cups to eachother, sharing and drinking out of the same cups with no fucks given. The same thing with drinking the water that was given to us to drink. They were basically all taking turns drinking out of the same cup. The whole time I was there I didn't take not one sip of water. I said f*ck that I'll just suffer and wait until I get home. This was only about a week before coronavirus really started getting serious. So you can just imagine this virus is going to spread like wildfire among all those filthy, infested, drug addicts. And to be honest I bet the normal citizens of Tijuana probably won't be sorry to see them go.

Oh and another thing, only about half of the toilets in there actually flush. Which means if you take a dump in the toilet the shit turds just sit in the toilet until the cleaning crew comes around with a plunger and a bucket of water to manually flush that sh*t down. I swear to god I'm not making this shit up. (no pun intended).

JH.Bitcoin my brother. Bitcoin is exactly what you're looking for. Of course 99% of the chicas have no clue how to use it and they will tell you it's too complicated to figure out. Just tell her hey if you want to receive this money you better figure it out. It's really not that hard or complicated. I think once a few chicas learn it, it will start to catch on.

Or heck, if you want to just send me the bitcoin and I'll exchange it into pesos and make sure it gets to your chicas, for a small fee of course. ;)

JH.I'd prob use a grocery store's moneygram system. You pay a base rate and it's not super complex (I think you can send money without an ID there).

If you absolutely need to do it from home and quickly. You could use something like coinbase to buy Ethereum, then do a transfer to their wallet address and have them use something like localcryptos.com for them to sell the crypto and have a local do a bank transfer in local currency to them. There's a lot of accounts to make, stuff to setup, wallet addresses to make sure are correct and it's a lot of hassle. Unfortunately, coinbase charges 1. 5% or 3%, Fortunately the exchange rate from eth to cop is benefiting you by 5%+ so you'll end up with more cop than if you did a straight bank transfer with no fees. If you know what you are doing and already have accounts setup, the process should take 15 - 30 minutes. If you don't have accounts / wallets already setup, it will take a day or longer (depending on how computer fluent you are) to set up all your accounts, wallets and verify everything works with small transfers of like 1 cent.

Again, I'd prob just try the moneygram system first, unless you are good with computer stuff. Also there's no guarantee after you send the money you'll get paid back using either system.

LOL, I and others spent the time to tell you how to get a better exchange rate with exchange rate free ATM cards and avoid crap exchange rates from Tijuana ATMs and you ask for a fee from another monger brother.

JH 1001.

If you decide to go the crypto route, use Ethereum (ETH) not Bitcoin (BTC) as the transfer fees are less with ETH, the exchange rate for Eth to COP (5%) is better than BTC to COP (2%) and the time you have to wait for a transfer is far less time.

Congrats because someone tried to charge you to go this route, I'll help you for free. I'll answer your questions on the forum so all mongers can benefit.

Once you loan these girls money you may as well say goodbye to the to. Most working girls are quite flaky and usually blow their money on drugs or rent etc. You are probably better off negotiating for a long session instead. Always remember that the girls are doing this for money. They will try and get as much money from you as they can. I gave Kayla some extra money because she was being so whiny. i saw her again about 2 weeks ago and she was expecting me to give her the same amount of money. I refused and explained that the extra money was a gift.

If you can spare the money, just call it a gift so there is no tension and the chika doesn't feel the need to ghost you. I don't know if the chance of her feeling grateful for the gift is greater than the chance of her feeling resentful to owe money, but if I like her enough to send cash I'd rather risk it. If I don't like a chika enough to make a gift of a couple hundred dollars then a loan is put of the question anyway.

Unfortunately I don't think it will be safe to monger in Tijuana until they develop a vaccine. It depends on your risk factors assuming your statement relates to an individual monger's health. This isn't Ebola, Anthrax, Bubonic Plague, etc. If you are not part of the AARP crowd, in good health and without preexisting health conditions, the realistic scenario is you get sick. Before anyone argues younger people have died, of course there are always exceptions but nearly all that I've read about were younger people with issues such as asthma, heavy smokers or simply being fat as fuck. Of course, the media is PC about it using the medical consequences of being a fat ass: diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. If "safe" to you means not getting sick, then I agree. If "safe" to you means risk if life, then I'd say it depends on individual circumstances.

JH.I want to send a big thank you to everyone for responding to my question. You guys are always so very helpful & I really appreciate that. Some of you really went out of your way to get some very detailed info over to me. For that, an extra special thank you.

Just to prove to you guys that I actually do soak up the knowledge you all put forth here:

I learned quite some time ago (once again, by asking you guys in the forum for advice) that if you are going to loan out any money it is best to 1. Consider it a gift or 2. Use it as a tool when negotiating for some supreme sessions.

You guys taught me that nothing will kill a special relationship with a chica faster than when she sees you as a collections agency. I've kept that advice in my mind ever since.

At this point, there is only one chica in particular that I am considering sending some money. She & I have known each other for a long time now. She has paid for hotel rooms on her own dime, gone out of her way to set up special dates, refused propinas, etc etc. Do I trust her implicitly? No. Is she problematic, completely out of her mind & a handful to deal with? Of course. Name one that isn't. However, overall, she's a cool chick & we get on pretty well. I know she, like many others will be dealing with rough times ahead considering what is happening. And as I see that most of you here agree, this shit is probably going to hit Mexico pretty fucking hard.

Anyway, I read everything you guys wrote & of course, I did a ton of research myself. Also, I did find this table that shows you some of the requirements for different money transferring agencies.

https://www.finder.com/money-transfer-requirements

Of course, the veracity of the info in this table will have to be proven with your own research / experience. Still, it is kind of nice to see everything laid out on one page.

Thanks again, gents. As always, I learn so much from you guys & I am happy to contribute in the little ways that I can.

JH.

Otherwise healthy people are in very little danger from what I have read.We keep learning more and more everyday. Some healthy people get violently ill and die for no apparent reason but that is very rare and should be ignored for now. Athsmax diabetes, obesity, and even smoking puts you at a higher risk. A lot of people aren't "healthy" in the US.

Experts are saying there will be a second wave later this year and another one next year. Suppose is true and we can cross the border and everything is back to normal before the virus makes a return. In that small window I will refuse to accept chica's numbers or their social media. I have no doubt some chicas are regretting not handing it to us when we asked them nicely. And maybe even thought we were going to get them cause we thought we were cool with them. Personally I wanted their info cause I wanted to make sure they were going to be there in my next start. With some chicas I even offered my dummy whatsapp and my monger number and they wouldn't take it. I even explained it to them. In my experience the ones that have offered their digits I could tell they were money grubbing chicas. So I quickly got rid of their digits cause I didn't want to go down that road. There's a Mexican saying hoy por mi, manana por ti / today for me and tomorrow for you. This basically means that you're going to help them today and she's going to appreciate it and all. But when is her turn to help you there's no guarantee she'll return the favor.
