Yesterday, the guard swiped my passport as usual. But then I noticed he also took the passport and scanned it on a machine under the desk where they sit ,too.

He did this after inspecting my entire book and seeing no stamps.

I am not sure what that means but I assume it as some of you are saying. They are keeping a record of entries electronically.

TJThe same happened to me lately. I've been always carrying my passport with me. They used to just look at it or swiped it and let me go. But since this month, they all flip through the whole book and asked me what I was there for and what I brought back. Maybe they are required to do more screening.

Yeah, La Tropa is like CC in that it tends to heat up more at night. Saturday afternoons can be OK though in terms of having quite a few girls and few customers.Yeah stopped in at La Tropa again last night figuring a Friday night might be good, but it was still early about 7:30pm. One interesting chica available, but still only about 5 customers and 4 girls. I went next door to the "Compartamento" massage place to see what girls were working. They had 2 cuties out of about 7 chicas, so hope those 2 make it into La Tropa later in the evening next time I visit.

they feel great and are actually pretty good for you if you get them on a regular basis. And, yes, the rates in TJ are about 50% of what you will pay in the US - still expensive for Mexico, but of course we are paying the tourist rate. I am sure you could save more money if you ventured off the beaten track a little bit, but I have not heard of anybody doing this.Yeah lots of arthritis and a bad back makes getting massages important to alleviate the pain. I had always figured there would be cheaper places since in all likelihood the girls working only get $5-10/massage + tip. But you're right, the problem is where to go?

As for the scanning of passports, if you tell them your purpose for visiting was "tourism" they don't enter any info, but if you give another reason such as business, one guard did record the information. Dept of Homeland Security keeps all this information about entry, and for most people it won't be an issue. But for those working in the Defense industry or Homeland Security, they will question you about it during a hire or security review (renewal or additional clearances). Used to work in that arena, and they are very particular about where you go and for what reason (depending on the job).

Hi All

I remember times when the economy was slow and many girls simply went home for a while. This resulted in less than optimal selection. Those who have visited on xmas or NYE will have seen a similar situation.

So, with this headline from the Times...,
Has anyone noticed a reduction in supply ?
Bars shutdown ?
Lower prices ? :)

TJ has not been the same since 9/11 anyway. I remember when walking back to the border there were always lots of people out selling things and there were even mainstream discos on the border side (remember club XS). But now the place is much slower.

The supply of girls seems about the same, however. And prices on the street have stayed steady for about a 15 years.

It seems that many people are just trying to get out of Mexico rather then spend time there for any reason. And that is the big difference. Anytime you are in TJ there is a real possibility that the line to get out will be long (except overnight). However, Revolucion and even the zona norte will be slow.

many of the restaurants where I used to eat would be packed in the afternoons now are basically empty.

I think it is a combination of no options for people in Mexico, increased border security which makes the wait to get out longer, and the perception of Baja California as dangerous that has reduced tourism. Even the State Dept. has issued warnings about going to Baja.

There was a comedian on BET once who said that he went to Mexico and saw a "GOING OUT OF COUNTRY SALE" I think this is the issue. Mexico is becoming an overall bad place to be in general and neither tourists or Mexicans really want to spend time there. Personally, I go down, get laid, and leave.

The map is also good for regulars because we can now inform readers where we were and they can find it on the map. I go all the time and have all the streets in my head but I never know the street names.

Now my posts are getting a bit better because I can look at the map and tell you the name.

We need to put the map in a fixed spot.

I've noticed the vast majority returning on Sunday are Mexican Americans who have been down visiting family and spending pesos. Sundays are the worst for lines in my opinion unless you return really late or possibly real early.

I often travel on vacation with my wife and have never had anyone mention all of the TJ visits which must be over 75 on my passport by now. I allways bring my passport with me instead of a DL as it just seems easier and ensures you will get back with no delays. I have never been asked about it ever. I was just in TJ around the end of January and the same situation happened at the border for 3 nights in a row.

I wouldn't worry about it. Your information is secure as far as I can tell. I don't plan on commiting any felonies where this would come up in court.

Sundays are the worst for lines in my opinion unless you return really late or possibly real early.Sunday at about 8:00pm, the line wasn't bad. About 7 stations open for 4 lines, and about 7+ deep in any one line. But yes, most of the people appeared to be Mexican Americans, lots of families.

In general, it's still a significantly slower turnaround per person, so if you have a long line, it's going to take that much longer.

One time only

Mid to late 80's across the street from Chicago Club, there use to be a Shit-hole called the Molina Rojo big nasty rat, infested joint, some great bitches and some right fucking nightmares, They use to have private donkey shows in the back room, big as room, needed to talk to meseros or owner to get back there.

This particular day me and a couple of guys that worked for me went bar hopping, walked in, sat down and could not see a thing, but sure felt like 5 pair of hands on you, well the lights grew a little lighter girl started dancing on stage.

Not bad then 2 girls then three, meanwhile ugly ass bitches still trying to get my 20 bucks for a little anything you could think of $25 for 2 bitches. Anyway one of the guys who went in with me decided to go upstage and put some dollars in her panties and grab a feel. He did and like a bat out of hell ran outside, could not figure out why, 2nd guy goes up and did the same thing, puts the money in pussy grabs a feel, and he starts shouting, AI CABRON, turns out ***** had dick, and I busted up. Went to bambi Club, went upstairs when they opened up for floorshow, got BJ $10 and GRabbing some from another while watching great floor show A tourist women eating one of the showgirls on stage what a night.

Oh well prices change but the women do not some are 9 and 10's, others below that but they are still saying the same the arriba for $50 or $60.

CJ has got it right nice little gal to share the sights and sounds, and tell him whats what.

Thank you! :D

I found out about that taco stand from other members here. They recommended it. It's off the tourist path so I'm surprised anyone even found it. And they give you so much for one taco. The taco stands in the Zona Norte are stingy and over priced compared to them. I asked them once and they told me they close their stand everyday at 6PM so if you go late, it wont be there.

This taco stand is usually crowded with locals and a few tourists who know about it. I guess if they moved into the tourist spot their quality would perhaps also go down. So this is just one place, but who knows what other gems are off the beaten path that we don't know about.

If anyone finds anything worth mentioning, please share. I'll check it out and put it in my map.

As for the hotter girls being around outside of Hong Kong, this is the same as Adelitas and its Hottie Central. Or who knows, perhaps once the girl registers they are told where to stand on the street.

So I was down in SD for the long weekend. Even took a day off on Friday for some extra "mongering" time in TJ. Half way down I realized I forgot my passport. Can't turn back as there is no way I can explain to Mrs Mofo why I need a passport to go to Disneyland. All weekend I kept checking this board to see if anyone went to TJ minus passport. Only saw one guy make it back but didn't want to risk getting stuck at the border and having to have the Mrs. Start questioning why I was in Mexico.

So no TJ tail for me this time. Boy. I'm pretty sad. But on the flip side, there is always next month and the Mrs isn't coming this time. Whoo Hooo.

How is TJ right now, is it a bit safer then a few weeks ago, I was just wondering, and I have a question about las pulgas, what kind of club is it?

TJ is OK right now. That is not to say that you should be careless or any less diligent in looking out for your personal security now than at any time in the past.

The running gun fights are not intended to harm you the tourist.

I had a 3 hour meeting with the Director and Sub Director of the State Department of Tourism in Tijuana last week and I was fully briefed on the situation. I came away very impressed with the action being taken by the federal and state governments, as well as the role being played by the military and I have to say that these good men and women have had enough of the violence.

Any cop who engages in shake downs is very stupid. The state has had over 280 TJPD and State police officers fired, and about 200 are in jail as a result of their criminal activity. So the heat is on.

If you are shaken down by a TJPD or State Police officer, get their name, vehicle number, make a note of the time and location and then file a complaint. I guarantee you that it will be taken seriously and action will be taken.

I feel much better living in TJ right now. Better than any time before. If you don't want to file the complaint on your own, contact me and I will assist you.

Efjayel has created what is probably the best map of TJ I have every looked at. Here is the link: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/2448/tj2copyuc1.gif
so check it out.

Las Pulgas is a very large club with several "rooms." One is a traditional "disco," one is a much larger live Banda room, they have another rancho disco room etc. There is a cover charge to get in. Las Pulgas is where you'll find the locals. The disco will have more gringos. But the banda rooms is where the hotties go to hook up. I'm telling you that there are some very pretty girls there, civillians and mostly non-Tijuana natives.

I used to go there every weekend with my girlie. I'd spend the time in the disco but they put a glass storefront wall up on the street side that closes the place in and I don;t feel safe there any more.

This place gets THOUSANDS of people and there is only one way out (on the disco side). If there were ever a fire it would be a disaster. ON the other hand, if I were a single guy looking for a latina girlfriend, Las Pulgas would be the place to start.

Just an FYI, in case nobody noticed.

Last Saturday, around 10:00-ish, 2 or 3 pickups loaded with Federales sporting full helmets, flak jackets, ski masks and automatic weapons conducted several raids.

I was just coming around the corner from the alley to pick up my amigo from AB. One posse went charging up the stairs into the hotel to the left of AB as you're facing the door. Then, just ahead of me a bunch more went charging into AB. The doorman wouldn't let anybody in for a while. When I was able to go back, my amigo said they came, went behind the bar and started rooting around. Looking for drugs? Who knows?

I was told they searched other apartments along the street as well, but I didn't see that.

My new street friend insisted that it was all just for show...

These guys are fucking serious and don;t let ANYONE tell you otherwise. They are looking hard for narcotraficantes, weapons, dope, large stashes of cash, etc. They are very serious so respect them and do what they say. They are well trained and are there to do a job. Many of these guys are young men, give them a "thumbs up" when they drive by.

Right now, the military are doing background checks on TJPD right up to the chief. He (the chief) no longer has TJPD body guards, they are military. This is for obvious reasons.

The military has also posted an annonymous citizen tip line so citizens can report things that are out-of-place in their hood. A "first" for Tijuana, and the phone has been ringing off the hook.

Despite what anyone says, the new government is taking matters very seriously and have pledged to see it through. It might take 100 years to do it, but if not now, when?

Sorry to report another police robbery. Saturday night, my buddy was approached at the top of Constitution by a street tout ranting about accompanying him to a new place full of young Chinese girls for bargain prices. Following my advice to him over the years, he ignored this creep and kept walking.

But the tout tagged along then offering Vicoden tablets for sale. At that point, three cops swooped them both up and declared that since my buddy was hanging with a known Vicoden dealer, he must be one too. After searching them both and discovering (surprise) three Vicoden tablets, they were both threatened with arrest and jailing for seventy-two hours.

Of course the dealer was released and my friend was ordered to an ATM in a nearby store where he was bullied into withdrawing and paying two hundred bucks.

The good news is that after reporting the incident to a local bar owner, he called the police chief, who appeared irate and insisted that if the bad cops could be identified, they would be arrested and the money returned. BTW, store surveillance cameras captured the ATM shakedown on tape. So now we wait.

Hey Gang, First detailed report so this will be long sorry,

So I recently ordered my birth certificate. Feb 5th is when I wrote the 12 dollar check. Feb 21 is when I received it! I was freakin happy, my friends have been wanting to go back and I could not because of the new security measures and such. Anyway planning a trip in March.

Onto an actual report:

This was our first experience:

So me and my buddy were on xbox 360 playing when he says "lets get some King tacos". I said "fine", he comes and gets me and we go to eat, while there he tells me how he wants to break up with his girl. And then we start suggesting stuff we could do Vegas, clubbing, parites etc. Then he says Mexico. Now we had just seen "Harsh Times" and were both like "Lets do it! ".

So he calls up his friend (who is always down) and we picked him up and we were off. We are from L. A. So the drive was about 2 hours. When we got close (Just before the sign reads "Last US exit") my first words were "is that hell? " it looked so beautiful the bright ambers from all the lights. It was a Friday night I beleive, could have been Sat, anyway all the parking lots were full so we had to park on the side walk really far from the border. We arrived at around 1am.

We walked the long bridge excited and nervous. We then made it to the Pearly gates (cattle like turnstyles). We got into the cab directly infront of the gate, my friend asked for a good place to fuck (aka a *****house) the driver said "the tightest cleanest girls can be found at The Luxor massage parlor".

Now this is our first time, we did not know shit so we said "yes" and went there. Dude they line them up in the parlor and I think I died and went to heaven LOL. The guy at the cash register said there having a special get this: 2 girls, 2 guys (me and my buddy) for 55$ each 1 hotel room with 2 beds we agreed. So the dude asked us to pick our girls, my friends were very nervous so I picked first, a Tall black hair 30 something year old she was awesome.

She took me up to the hotel room (the hotel was really cool looking but the rooms were sub par at best) When she opened the door in my head I saw US or even TJ cops just waitin. But nothing, so here is the shitty part, after paying the guy downstaris 55 bucks for 35 minutes she wants either 85 for a BJ 100 for full service or 65 for a hand job. I'm like "fuck", I don't have enough I had like 90 bucks in my pocket, my friend got there with his girl and I told him whats up and he was like "dam that sucks". So I got a BJ on the left bed while he got a handy on the right bed. IT WAS AWESOME! LOL me and my friend were cracking jokes and the girls were yelling at us. Btw they both got fully nude she did a good Condom BJ. My other friend got to bang her in the bathroom cause he had 100 bucks lucky bastard.

Anyway we then headed back to the border in a taxi. At the border all they wanted was our citizen declaration and drivers licence. We went home laughing and telling stories of how fun that was.

Ok that was really long I want to tell ya guys about the following trip we did but I will save that for later!

A lot of guys look for orientals in the Zona, or ask about an oriental massage. Save your time and money, there are none. There are a lot of Chinese of course, especially in Mexicali, but none work in the sex industry unfortunately. The Chinese are well respected and are usually hooked up in some business venture. They have a way of making things go right and they stick together.

If you want some oriental delights, you'll have to go State-side.

Never go aywhere with a street hustler. NEVER do it. Never let them follow you.

Stay in the Zona. It is the Zone of Tolerance in TJ, and you are safer there. Walking around outside the block is asking for trouble.

It was in the Zona, actually the street corners of the zona, where the taco stands are that I've been approached by those guys promising me where to find the hottest girls and oriental massages. They'll usually block my path and start talking to me. I simply step to the side out of their way and continue walking never making eye contact.

So anyways, where Stateside can I find oriental girls?

In my past as a regular TJ monger I, too, have had to deal with these less-than-legal setups; fortunately it didn't take me long to get wise to the game and avoid those situations like AIDS. Now that I'm reading the board I see that not only have things not really changed down there, but they seem to have gotten a bit worse for a while.

I always had this theory that one day the cop shakedowns would get so bad that people would stop going down there. I wonder if the chickens have come home to roost, and if the powers-that-be finally realized that letting the ratero cops "subsidize" their meager incomes in this fashion could have some negative impact on their #1 industry (tourism).

Are these fuckers finally starting to get a clue, or will things go right back to the way they've always been after a period of time?

Rule #1: Never take a CC or ATM card to TJ.

Rule #2 Stuff money in your socks or a polo shirt T-shirt pocket under your outside shirt, money belt, etc. for reserve.

All you need in addition to cash is your DL & passport or B.C., maybe a few of your favorite condoms.

It's a sad fact that shake-downs continue and people need to be on their guard. People also need to know what to do, and not do. People also need to decide if they are willing to let the cops get away with it.

I met with the State Department of Tourism's Police Corruption Unit in TJ last week for three hours and discussed this matter.

Their number 1 problem is not corrupt cops, it's failure to report corrupt cops.

Corrupt cops will ALWAYS be out there. But in order to make an impact, they have to be reported. People are not doing it. Shakedowns continue because the cops know that they will not be reported.

Do you want things to change? Then report the bad cops. They will be arrested. Many already have.

If you are involved in a police shakedown: Get the name of the officer if possible, the vehicle number (very important) and make a note of the exact area and time. If you can afford it and if you think of it, go to any office supply store and buy a UV pen and mark your cash.

Got o any phone and dial 078 to get in touch directly with the State department and tell them what happened. This could get the ball rolling immediately. etc. etc.

There was a time in TJ that, if you wanted to be a cop, you had to buy your own police car, gun, uniform plus you had to pay a propina to the captain. That is how the mordita was born. Cops are not required to buy their stuff anymore but that has not stopped the practce of the mordita.

The bad cops believe that gringos don't have the balls to follow through on complaints. So what's it gonna be? If you want to report the cops, if you have the info, then PM me. I'll help you.

CJ the board in the last year or so has been basically about the shakedowns the other ripoffs from TJ's finest. Does this mean due to all the attention and all the extra police that all the muggings have gone down, the ripoff artist.

I have seen in years past, that when the government added extra police or fed. Troops this was the case, but always returned to the same old ways.

From the articles in the papers and your reports it seems the new police chief is here to stay as long as he is alive, and he means business.

JayYeah the new location for VivaMex definitely has potential but when you go in, the traces of construction are certainly visible still. The new front girl is kind of clueless.

When you go in, check the table sheet and make sure it's clean and also the bathrobe. I'm not sure who's responsible for the laundry, but it's not getting done. The business is clearly not being run as well as it used to be, hopefully it'll get fixed soon. Also, the shower shoes were missing so make sure you get those if you plan on taking a shower.

Gentlemen,

I did a little search and wasn't able to find a good fit.

Will be in TJ for a weekend. Want a hotel that is clean (don't need all the 5 star stuff) just a private bathroom and aircon.

What I do need is for it to be close to the Zone so the girls and I can walk there without getting hassled. And for the cost to be around $50 a night.

Thanks guys.

Here's a good link to a post by CM & PP breaking down a lot of the hotels in the area. From what people I know have said, they were fine with both Hotel Nelson (near touristy Revo) and Hacienda de Santiago (just 1.5 blocks down the street from Adelitas).

Hacienda de Santiago - $43 plus $3 for key, girl friendly (request double room), no AC, has unattended parking garage, approx. 1.5 blocks east of AB

Nelson – no garage, $50, girl friendly (request double room), near Arch, hotelnelson.com.mx

Here's a vid from google but I'm not sure if this is the actual place. Hard to tell if the views from the air are the Zona or not, doesn't quite look like it.

Its been awhile since my last post (that is what a good stateside girlfriend will do).
“Dejame” (pronounced: de-ha-me) is a term every gringo should know when approached by the hawkers on the street. It means: “Leave me alone”. Say it politely but firmly and if there are any police in the area, make sure to say it loud enough and repeatedly so they know you aren’t interested in the drugs or girls the hawkers are peddling.
Don’t take credit cards or ATM cards, cash only. Stash the cash in several places, shoes, socks, crotch ect. A driver’s license is fine for identification. A good idea is to go to the DMV and get a duplicate license. Your duplicate is now your official stateside ID, your original is now your TJ card. The duplicate replaces your original here in the U.S. If you loose your original in TJ, no loss. A photocopy of your passport is always good when traveling. I’m not sure what the rules are for the passport requirements, but I understand they are changing. When it does become a requirement, the photocopy of the passport, along with your actual passport is essential.
I was recently in Mexico City and there were Federalies all over the place, especially in the Metro (subway). My uncle, who at one time was the ambassador to England for Mexico , said the they are trying again to crack down on the petty crime that affects the tourist trade, that includes corrupt cops. Recent stories of whole families being “kidnapped” while in Baja are the kiss of death for the entire tourist industry.
He suspects it’s a tactic by the drug cartels. When pressure is on the drug trade, they push for tourist harassment to go up. As a bargaining chip the cartels let the government know they will cooperate with the problem of tourist harassment if they, the government, looks the other way with regard to the drug trade into the U.S. But when everybody is grabbing for whatever they can get their hands on, who knows what’s really going on.
Good luck and be careful. TJ is a lot of fun and worth it, in my opinion. But you have to keep your wits about you. I studied up on this message board before mongering in TJ and it helped immensely, but still I got clipped once and had a car ripped off from the U.S. side. Experience is a good teacher, but a dear one.

Thanks from all of us mongers CJ for your offer of assistance and I believe that action will be taken if offenses are reported. Trouble is, many US citizen victims are married or otherwise, not in positions to want to acknowledge being in TJ. As a veteran of TJ mongering for over thirty years, somehow, I've managed to dodge that particular hassle but many homeboys that I personally brought down there have had problems because they defied the rules stated on these previous posts.

The two biggest scams that the cops use to demand money are, possession of a pocket knife or Viagra without a prescription. I'm not positive about the legality of either, but it's wise to leave the pocket knives home and stash your vitamin V in a sock or leave your stash in your hotel room.

Also remember that any tout speaking to you in California English has acquired that accent from once living there and did not leave willingly. He is likely a Mexican national raised in Los Angeles since early age and has almost certainly been deported from the US for criminal activities ranging from drugs to robbery. To avoid any problems with co-conspiring cops, politely decline whatever he has to offer and walk away. Stick to the main bars discussed here and you should be relatively safe as the club owners, now more than ever, have a vested interest in the well being of their customers.

All true.

You don't need to actually confront the officer, you just need to Identify him and swear out a complaint. Once they are on to a particular officer, chances are they'll catch him if he continues his criminal behavior.

They ARE interested in catching them. But they need the reports. Who? When? Where? Car Number? Property taken. You can correstpond via hotmail or other 3rd party email. The reported are NEEDED, however.

The rest of your post is right on the money also.

I had an opportunity to take a little time this afternoon and treat myself to a solo trip to TJ. Drive down from OC, great, parked at the last exit parking lot $8.00 pay later. Walked across, took a taxi to Adelitas. Looked at my watch to find that I was waaay earlier than I thought I'd be, only 3:30. I expected the place to be dead but WOW! It was jumping, lots more girls than guys, most guys were locals. Several really hot girls. It was too early to get started yet so I had a beer and cruised the place until I finished it. Had to refuse a couple of horrendous things (I suppose the rougher ones HAVE to be more aggresive) before I left.

What I was really looking for was an early dinner but I ended up going around the corner to the Hong Kong. Some pretty SW girls out at this time of the day, I was tempted and there was a lot of selection.

Into Hong Kongs, 2 for one beers, fended off the first aggressive girl (I'm being kind) who offered me BBBJ "I swallow" and 1 hr; $50. I got talking to a big gal (name escapes me) who has good English, she's been working in HK about 2 mo, half Italian (and proud of it). I liked her because she wasn't so pushy yet was attractive and classically Italian looking, natural tits etc. We settled on 40 mins, $60, FS with a massage as time allowed. In the event she was OK, a nice experience although she didn't disrobe. BBJ, CG RCG, Miss and asked if I wanted Anal (so it's available). I complimented her on her sanitary practices, washing me first, my hands (she assumed I had been handling other pussies) and afterwards, I tipped the room boy and out for that dinner.

I admit I took a wrong turn coming out of HK so I ended up at a not to be recommended place where I endured a few chicken tacos in a sit down diner. The tacos were greasy and they considerately left a toothpick in one. If I am OK tomorrow, I'll be surprised, $3.50.

Went back to Adelitas and sat for a while with a little indian sort from Cancun who also spoke decent English, we went up for $60, $12 for room, again, very sanitary conscious, not as hot as the HK girl, wouldn't repeat.

Taxi back to la linea.

TIP: Don't get in the left hand line, the tour buses come in and merge with that one, doubling your wait. Quick scan of the PP and I was in my truck by 7:15.

After coming out of CC a couple of Sundays ago, about 8:30, and having one more taco de pastor, I decided to head home. As I was standing on the corner debating where to pick up a taxi, this Mexican kid in a white shirt comes up to me and asks me if I want to visit a massage place. I politely declined.

“No, I’m broke and tired.”

“Oh. All finished for tonight?”

“Oh, yes.”

He then puts on his bow tie and asks me if it’s straight. I straighten it out for him. Then we get to chatting about things in general. The kid’s really personable and speaks very good English, but with lots of “ghetto” expressions. He’s straight out of Central Casting, but he proved interesting.
I won’t try to relate his stories verbatim, but I’ll try to relay the gist of what he told me.

Payment

He told me he gets no salary, but works with several of the massage places along Coahuila. He didn’t say, but I assume it’s Mermaids and La Tropa, maybe others. Depending on the venue, he gets between $10 and $20 for each customer he brings in, if the stay and get a massage. If they don’t stay, he gets nothing except, maybe, a couple of dollars tip. Additionally, he has business “relationships” with lots of SGs (not to be confused with the pareditas in the alley), and I’m sure he gets a cut of their action if he sets up a rendezvous.

Police

“They are professional criminals” according to him. After being deported from the USA he began working the street corner there. He said, at the time, he didn’t have proper Mexican ID because he wasn’t born in TJ. For quite a while the TJPD would routinely arrest him. Now, I guess they don’t arrest him, but shake him down on a regular basis. Some nights he has money to give them, others he has to ask them to come back later after he makes a little bit and he’ll give them their cut. We compared notes about the masked, helmeted and machine-gun toting Federales who conducted the raids all up and down the street on Saturday. He says it’s just for show, but nothing will be done. He insists the cops know where the drugs are, but don’t raid those places. (They looked kinda serious to me, but I was in no position to argue).

Girls

Angel began to expound on the virtues of “his” street girls. While we were chatting a girl came up to him, along with two young boys, probably her brothers, as they were too old to be her kids. After a quick conversation they wandered off. He told me he was surprised that she was “working,” as he hadn’t seen her before. He said she asked him to send some customers her way. Then a tiny chica with light brown skin came up to him. She was wearing tight clothing, but a jacket, as it was cold. She looked awfully thin, hungry and tired, with what appeared to be dark circles under her eyes. He introduced me to her and they talked a bit. After she left he explained that she was something of a deadbeat. She didn’t like to pay back loans. One of her girlfriends had loaned her some money and she hadn’t paid it back. A little while ago she got lucky at bingo (the locals call the slot machines in the casinos “bingo”). As she was leaving her friend came up to her, with another girlfriend, and demanded her money. She said she didn’t have it and turned out her pockets. At that point the two girls jumped her, beat the shit out of her, blacked both her eyes (explaining the dark circles), stuck their hands into her panties and retrieved all of her winnings and took off. So, she was looking for customers, but probably wasn’t finding too many takers. Angel then tells me why the alley girls are no good. They only go for 15 minutes, they don’t take off all their clothes, they charge $25 - $30, etc., etc. But the girls he knew were so much better. “They go for a whole hour, they work naked, they’re all young, barely legal, 18 – 22, and you can do anything you want. A lot of them are fresh to the business. Now I’m not guaranteeing that you can fuck THEM in the ass, but if you’re gentle and nice, who know? And the older ones, no problem. And they’re only $40 - $50. ” I just smiled and nodded. “And, they’ll go to your hotel with you. The alley girls won’t. All-nighters during the week are $200, and $300 on the weekends. As we were chatting, he was pointing out several of his girls standing around. (This was on the SE corner of Con. and Coahuila). Now none of these girls rated higher than a 5 on the not-too-fussy Phord scale, and ALL of them had that hollow-cheek look of somebody with a serious drug problem. Not only wouldn’t I let them anywhere near my hotel room for an hour, I wouldn’t even fuck them with FJL's dick! :-) But, I guess there’s a market, or they wouldn’t be there.

Anyway, after watching some of the street people come up to him and repay loans he’d made, it was time to go, so I gave him a couple of dollars, mostly for the entertainment. He was kind enough to find me a taxi that would actually use the meter back to the border. FYI, a ride from there to the border (not on the Sentri drop-off side, but the other side of the bridge) is under $2.00. I knew it was less than the yellow cabs, but I didn’t realize it was that much less.

So, for a couple of bucks I got a brief glimpse into the workings of the darker side of the Zona. Man, it’s sure tough to make a living. We normally experience the people at the upper end of the food chain in AB, HK and CC. After this, I’m pretty sure I don’t want to experience anybody much lower.

Hello fellow mongers,

Its STORY time!

Here is my second trip down to TJ, so my buddies and I headed down to TJ only a week after our first trip. Before we left we decided that we got ripped off at the Luxor so we were gonna ask the taxi driver if he new a better ***** house. We got to the border parked the car. We did our and yours albet, ritual of taking everything out of our pockets accept cash and ID, we headed to the actual border. There is always hot chicks before the border (possible clubbers more then likely).

We make it to the cab and my friend asked the driver where the best/affordable ***** house was. The driver said Purple rain. And we were like fuck it, lets try it. So we were off. We get there and automatically we see chicks all over the drive way, looking hot and so good. We sit down in a heavily fogged strip club. The girls are standing around, and this older lady approaches us. She states in English mind you, that if we want any of these girls to tell her and she will set it up. The fee would be 85 buck for 30 minutes. We sit around watching the girls dance on the stage.

Next thing you know the older lady tells all the girls to stand in a line so we could choose which we wanted. Dude heaven again. My friends pick there girls while I wait and continue to see if any new chicks are coming. Eventually I got tired of waitin, so I got up and found a hot smoking chick and said Hi to her, she told me that it would be 85 bucks for 30 minutes I agreed. We went up to there little motel.

She opens the door to see if there is anyone in the room, no one but the cleaning lady. I hear giggles, and next thing ya know my buddy is coming out of the room next door. We laugh and talk abit and my chick goes in Spanish "to much talking not enough sex" god that was hot. Anyway the tiny room consists of a bed that feels like the bed in a hospital, not comfy and thin. There is also a boom box in every room along with a couch and ottoman. She gets undressed we chit chat, and I get undressed. She puts the condom on and we go at it. This chick was, though a complete orgasm faker, pretty good at it. She was nice and thin and petite is the word I'm looking for.

So we finish she kisses me on the cheek and leaves to shower, I see her grab a brand new soap bar, and I leave. Down stairs my friends are waiting for me. They are eating tacos at the taco shack, not a stand cause it’s a building, but its propped against the Purple Rain. The taco dude is so cool. He talks nice English and tells us stories of how he use to live in SO CAL. Oh he later told us to fuck Kimberly, cause she has a quote "tight panocha".

We leave with a taxi cab to the border, the driver drops us off in a seedy location. We all get freaked out. As we walk the side walk we hear "YOU STOP! " me and my friend nearly [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) ourselves, luckily they were talking to a drunk white boy, my friend asked "is this a check point" the crooked cop says no just keep walking. We all start to laugh on our way to the border at how fucked up cops are there. Now the guy at the us border kinda hassled me abit. He quizzed my life where were you born, citizen ship, what did you do in Mexico. I told him I was parting LOL. Then he let me go, the guy at the door complimented my tattoo and we were off back to L. A. At around 3am. Awesome trip.

Not only wouldn’t I let them anywhere near my hotel room for an hour, I wouldn’t even fuck them with FJL's dick! :-)

Wait, what? I don't get it...

Cool story though. As for the 5's I'm assuming their main clientele are locals cause I too wouldn't go near them either and i doubt many tourists do as well.

By the way, where is purple rain. I don't think I saw it on my last trip. I should note it on my map.

It's just too dangerous to take offers from corner dudes, you don't know what these guys are up to, you can get clubbed robbed and no pussy!
I had Street walkers come to me not the paraditas, they usaually look very young in plain clothes, most speak OK English and they have in the menu Facial, BBBJ, CIM and even greek, I suggest to stay away from these girls and the barkers who work with them, some of these girls could be minors police bait just to lure the desperate monger, then the corrupted cops will have a good reason to bust your ass and make your life miserable!
Watch Out!

Angel began to expound on the virtues of “his” street girls. While we were chatting a girl came up to him, along with two young boys,.........................................

I don't want to spit in anyones soup, but Angel is a crook, avoid him like the plague. He will set you up with a girl who will most likely walk after you give her the money. He usually tries to arrange dates for is "wife/girlfriend." They work as a team.

He is a crack head who will do anything, ANYTHING for another hit. He's a hype to be sure and someone you need to stay away from. The cops know him of course, they know him well.

His english is very good. He did time in California and was deported several years ago after doing time on dope charges.

I was wondering what ever became of him, I've not seen him in the Zona for a while. The necktie/bowtie white shirt thing is a nice touch but bake no mistake about it: this guy is bad news. Avoid him.

I wonder if this is the same Angel I know? I met him, maybe, four years ago, and he was just this sweet kid. I've watched him change over these past few years. He spent eight months in prison, and then, just recently, he spent another three months behind bars. I saw him about two weeks ago. His entire face looked puffy...not sure why that would be.

I agree, I don't trust him. He's a smooth talker, and on the surface, seems likable, which makes him even more dangerous. Best to avoid this one.

RO & CJ:

Yeah, that sounds like the guy. He admitted he'd been deported, but he must have forgotten to mention the reason!

I knew he was full of it after the first 30 seconds. He is a smooth talker, but a hard-core hustler, that's for sure. What a tough way to make a buck.

Your advice about avoiding him seems pretty sound.

sorry i put this in the wrong form and now resubmitting it here.

i am coming to tijuana at the end of april. i will be there in the middle of the week. i looked through reports but could not find some of the information i am looking for. first can someone recommend a place to stay on the mexican side of the border. i want a clean chica friendly place with hot water. i would prefer (if possible) somewhere with outside entrances to the room. i hate making the walk of shame through hotel lobby. is there a parking area on the us side of the border with a foot bridge. does anyone know of a site with a map of the zona or a post. any other recommendations and what i should pay for toda noches would be appreciated. in the mean time i will keep looking through past reports.

hi speedstick, most hotels close to the zona are chica friendly. there is no such thing as a walk of shame, forget about it. i walk through with my head up and a big fucking smile on my face. you want to stay as close to the zona as possible, so i would suggest the hotel nelson. it's not exterior access but will be more than suitable for banging the object of your affection.

here is a map that every monger should have:
http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/2448/tj2copyuc1.gif, thanks to efjayel.

tln's can be tricky and expensive especially for first timers. a bar girl will go after her shift (5am) and leave at first light (6:30) and that is their definition of a tln. you'll pay anywhere from $150. to $500. not a good deal. most excellent tlns are with girls that you often repeat with and take early. the right girl will go to dinner and then to the room.

by all means, read the board.

have fun.

I havent been keeping up the last 3 months with whats needed to get to TJ. Im a frequent TJ visitor, usually every month, but I havent been in a while.

Whats required now? Passport if I read correctly. Mine is expired about 4 months, what do you guys think, not going to be valid? I know Birth Cert also but I dont have that on hand at the moment. Can you still get back with just a DL?

Man, I wanna go so bad this weekend, but I didnt prepare for the passport deal. heh.
You don't need your passport yet at land crossings, although you will in about one more year. What changed recently is that verbal declarations of citizenship are no longer accepted at land and sea crossings. In other words, you need to show proof of citizenship - a driver's license AND a birth certificate, or the equivalent. However, from reading the board here, I see that there is a bit of a "grace period" and they are letting people back who don't have proof of citizenship, but giving them a warning.

If your passport expired 4 months back then technically it is not valid. However, see my note above about the grace period. When you go to renew your passport, you may also want to apply for a Pass Card. This is a wallet sized photo ID that is good as proof of citizenship. You can use it at land and sea crossings, but it's not good for international travel on an airplane. Pass Cards are machine readable, meaning that they can be swiped / scanned electronically, but they cannot be stamped (although they usually do not stamp passports at land crossings anyway). Happy travels.

I want to thank everyone for the information I have got back so far. I was wondering if anyone had any information on a couple of hotels. The first is Hotel Pueblo Amigo and the second is Hotel Bugambilias. Are these places amigas friendly. Are they decent places to stay. I am coming from Alaska and want a room I can enjoy when I am not out doing the tourist thing. I have looked at some hotels right near the action but I really want something close to the action that I can kick back in the room to recharge my batteries.

Also thanks to everyone for pointing out the map, really useful thanks to the member who took the time to make is and post it.

the hotel pa is definitely chica friendly. if you read back in this thread you'll see it's been mentioned numerous times. the bugambilias is on the opposite side of town, close to the airport and the otay mesa border crossing. if you stay there you're going to be a long way from the action.

Hotel PA is a nice place. Next to the Luxor and PA PLaza where there are several very cool bars. That's where the locals (young people) hang out. I had a chance to spend time at the MOFO Bar there, assisting a band from San Diego with their sound. I never spent much time there before (and especially at the Luxor, high priced service).

You'll be happy at PA and given the current climate, they should welcome you with open arms.

Have a nice trip.

I would not take a taxi from Mexico to the USA. Get across the border and then check the shuttles or taxis. The trip should cost around $35.00. What marriott are you staying at? Where is it?

I would plan to use a taxi to and from the TJ Marriott since it's only $5 for a one-way taxi ride/tell the taxi driver where you want to go and hand him $5. Plus you'll minimize being stopped while walking on the streets which could cost you more money. Right?
I'm assuming that the TJ taxis are restricted to the TJ area and cannot cross the border to San Diego. The hotel # is below; you can always call and ask. You'll probably have to get a taxi to the border and walk through customs; and then get a second taxi just outside the customs building. The SD airport is about 20 minutes away. Also you can save time by printing out your boarding pass on-line at the Marriott(United Airlines has this option on their website); that way you can go straight to the gate once you get to the airport. However, if you have to check in luggage, you could have a line to wait on. But if you only have carry-on, then you're good.

Country JohnI know it will be brief. I do get there early in the day on Friday and have a 2:00 or so on Saturday. I'm returning with a large group after spending a week working with an orphanage farther down in Mexico, and have my flight a day later than the rest of the group.

So, I'm trying to make the most of the opportunity by staying over in TJ for the "layover".

As Jay stated, I am a ways from the Zona (using hotel points). I'm really just looking for any advice that will allow me to maximize my time to hunt as well as any possible fun spots closer to my hotel. Thanks for the tips. Check out the same username on the USA site, and let me know if I can ever help you in my neck of the woods.

If I were you, I'd leave the hotel around 10 AM, and tell the taxi driver to get you to the border pronto. Walk across and grab a cab on the other side to the airport. But absolutely no later than 10AM.

If you have all day and all night Friday, cab it to AB or CC, then cab back to the hotel. We are not talking great distances, maybe 5 to 8 miles or so. My house is about another 5 miles past the hotel. Stick to the road well travelled, there are clubs closer to you as mentioned below but there will be fewer gringos (assuming you are gringo). You can make more orphans, then head back in time to grab some sleep (you'll need it). Get serious about timing in the morning, leaving the hotel at 10 should get you back tot he airport in time to catch the plane. Good luck. Be safe and have fun.

Been a regular in the zone for some years now and my fav is HG, lately every encounter has been GFE and last a BBBJ. I have a SENTRI pass so the going is easy, but when I bring friends along it is faster for them to walk across at Otay Mesa / Mesa Otay. My question is, is there any chica action at Otay, similar to HG in the zone?

I think the increased, cheaper and hungrier providers is due to all the bad press about TJ. Good for us, I'm lovin' the advantage, the girls tell me the biz has been slow and have been grateful for my 30 to 40 sheckles.

As a long time TJ vet (in fact probably heading back down there Sunday night), yes there are a lot of potential pitfalls but here are my thoughts on how to avoid problems in my best David Letterman coundown format ...

5. Watch the liquor. - Can't say how many times too many $2 Corona's have led to seeing someone get into a fight or getting hasseled by the policia.

4. You're in control of the negotiations. - Look around - you're in a buyer's market! Find who you want, offer what you want (within reason) and if she says no, move on to your next option.

3. Remember, pros or not, they're still women. - I'm not going to suggest you "treat them like you'd like someone to treat your daughter" but I am going to suggest you "treat them better than you treat your daughter's dog."

2. Leave your attitude in San Diego. - Go down their to play, not to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) people off.

And the most important (IMHO) thing to remember ...

1. At all times remember YOU'RE IN A FORIEGN COUNTRY. - I don't care how close San Diego is...once you cross the border and hop in that cab and say "Adelitas por favor", you've entered into another world that is nothing like what you've grown up in. People actually live in those shacks ... the kids on the sidewalk actually are that dirty all the time ... the policia actually do let the chicas sit on their cars while they say "Go to the room?" ... and most important, when you are there you HAVE TO ABIDE BY THEIR RULES.

Be safe & have fun ...

No, not yet. You will need a passport starting sometime in the Spring of 2009. For now, though, all you need is proof of citizenship - a photo ID or birth certificate, or the equivalent. The change that occurred recently is that they are no longer accepting oral declarations of citizenship. Although there is a grace period while they phase this in, I am not sure if the grace period has now passed. If you take a driver's license plus a birth certificate, it is fine for now.

A five minute search of previous posts for the words "passport" or "birth certificate" would find dozens of posts, some of them containing the link to the State Department's web site, or verbatim quotes of the new rules. Moreover, Googling "passport" along with "Mexico" will result in numerous sites explaining the rules that went into effect earlier this year. Again, I'm normally tolerant of the newcomers. But the frequency of their questions on this topic is matched only by their laziness and it's starting to degrade the signal-to-noise ratio. I say we ignore future inquires in this respect.

Be safe & have fun ...I would add a few more ideas from here that have served me well over time. Though all of the ideas you have given make a ton of sense.

1) Never have all of your money in one spot. I tend to put around $40 in my shirt pocket (buttoned all of the time). I never get this money out for bar transactions. I had a problem a long time ago on revo ave where I lost my wallet in a bar. Luckily I had a friend with money to get to the border. I also leave my passport in this pocket at all times. Though in the Zona I have never had this problem.

2) Never talk to any of the street hustlers. They are constantly trying to sell me drugs, special chicas, and such. I just walk on and politely say "no thanks". I will duck into a bar if need be.

3) Never have anything illegal on you. This includes Cialas or Viagra. I usually take a pill on the US side and/or buy at the pharmacy right by the McDonalds and then take in the store and then get into a cab. I have been frised by the cops many times and I was allways glad to have nothing on me. If you really next extra pills while in the Zona (I have been there believe me) get a cab to the 24h pharmacy near the Zona. I have offered $3 each way and the cab will wait, though I paid $3 as I left. No sense in walking that far at night.

What's up mongers. I haven't been to TJ since 2002. With the dollar in the toilet, I can't go to brazil anymore. It looks like I might have to go back to TJ again. What has changed in the last 6 years. I can't believe it's been that long. Is AB still a smoke filled sardine can. CC had better girls back then and the going rate was 60. How is the crime. I have seen reports on tv that the border is a war zone now. Is this true or just scare tactics by the media. Any new clubs. Have they finally fixed the streets CC. A quick summary would be nice.

All I can say is to memorize these three words: Watch your ass. The dumb bastards that run the police force don't realize that they are screwing up tourism in their city and country. They have spent the last 5 years or so shaking down foreigners (Mostly from the USA) for their money. Ain't that some shit!!! If you don't believe me, look up some of the testimonials on the board. Remember, this is just from the monger scene. Regular tourists have been getting the same harrassment from the police as well. I know people who used to go to TJ for cheap prescriptions, etc. Many have stopped taking the trip cold turkey because the risk far outweights the benefit, not to mention their stupidity and ignorance. They once had a great thing going downthere; they were an alternative to high US prices. Now, the country has become a crapshoot for criminals with their own law enforment as the highest profile perpetrator of criminal activity. If you've got to go, go. I highly suggest doing so during daylight hours. It would significantly reduce your profile and reduce the chances they would go after you with bright lights in their dimwit faces.

If you've been away from the Zona for 6 years or so, one of the most noticable changes is the new stamped concrete sidewalks in the alley. The street has been narrowed to a single lane and the sidewalks widened to take up the extra space. An expensive renovation. The place was tough to negotiate during the work, I remember climing over hills to get across the street. The new street lights and trees are a nice touch, obviously they were expecting the traffic flow to increase.

But what happened in the past few years turned the Zona into a ghost town compared to three years ago.

The economy is very bad which should translate into better negotiations between you and the girl. It also translates into more petty crime as well as some pretty serious crime.

Now, everyone is on the hustle in the Zona. It's a culture that pays their rent every week or day. Dope is still a major problem, and the street hustlers are more dangerous now than every before. Some work with the cops to score your money. Don't be afraid to ignore these guys, they are not your friends. MOst everyone is running a con of some sort, including many girls; especially walkers who will rip you off big time.

After 6 years away you should find much more aggressive maseros and bar girls (especially at Adelita Bar). You need to watch your money flows carefully and count your change. Revolution is a mess, tourism is a disaster, not much good to say.

Sex still sells however and if you can behave while keeping those eyes in the back of your head wide open, and use a few ounces of common sense then you should be fine.

I never drank and still don't drink, so I always had eyes in the back of my head. I think I read a post that it's now 30 minutes at AB. Wasn't it 40 minutes back in the day. My favorite strip club used to be peanuts andbeer. How is that place nowadays. I used to pull girls out of there for about 70, for a few hours in my room. The one thing that I won't like, that I'm used to from brazil, is the girls don't seem to showere before and after sex in tj. With only 30 minutes now, I would think hygiene is even worse now. How could the economy be worse now. It was always shitty.

It sounds like Costa Rica is the better place to go.

Anyone from here been there lately.

I haven't been there since 2003.

I've been going to Adelita Bar weekly for the last month now and most of the women wash after sex. The last one washed before and after. They all do it in the sink and it looks funny but as long as they wash I'm happier.

It sounds like Costa Rica is the better place to go.

Anyone from here been there lately.

I haven't been there since 2003.I was in Costa Rica December 2006 and in Tijuana December 2007. The women in Tijuana look better and dress sexier then the women in Costa Rica.

The going rate in Costa Rica is $80-$100 for ST. Colombianas---$100-$150. The girls are settling for $60-$80, with Colombianas settling for $80-$100.

If you are looking for a GFE or Long Term experience in Costa Rica is much better. THere are more oppoutunities to laugh, dance and buy girls drinks in Costa Rica. I did all of this and spent 3-4 hours with some of these girls for $60-$80.

I did have one GFE experience with a girl from the Chicago Club in Tijuana. I went into Chicago around 2am when there were 5-6 girls in there. A girl came over and ask me if i wanted company. I ende up spending 3 hours dancing, buying lady drinks, kissing and fingering her. We agreed to go to a hotel for 1 hour(hotel fee-$24) and $100 for services. This was my only GFE experience in Tijuana. The rest were shor term and very mechanical.

I have been to Costa Rica on five different occasions and have always had GFE experiences that lasted 3 to 24 hours and cost $35-$120.

I think it all depends on the type of experience you are looking for.

Prob they often just wash the coochie and if youve been sucking her tits and belly... well they dont wash that between guys. I like chicago club in that they are usually lower volume so often you might the be first guy of the night and alot of them do take full showers though they have been slacking during winter since shower water takes so long to heat up. Plus its pretty easy to track which girls go up alot in CC and thus might not be so 'fresh' by late evening.

I've been with some girls at AB that didn't shower afterwards. They would simply freshen up like spraying some body wash or similar. And some of the girls that I've come on, like on their tits or stomach, they'll just rinse that area by splashing water on it, get dressed and go back downstairs. There are the few that shower after every session though. I mostly go with those girls, they're the clean ones. They're also the ones that insist on cleaning up the guy with lotions before starting. Which is kind of nice cause they'll rub lotion all over my cock and balls before putting the condom on it. It's a turn on.

There are also pole-mounted cameras with panic buttons at either end of the alley. Because of the possibility of a profitable shakedown, local cops sprint en mass whenever they hear of a disturbance.

Classic. IN the future, REFUSE TO PAY. REFUSE TO PAY. REFUSE TO PAY. REFUSE TO PAY. REFUSE TO PAY.

Your friend MUST follow through on this. The cops WILL be arrested.

My friend did follow up on his report of being robbed by zona police and sure enough, the chief was there to meet him the following Saturday. He lined up all area cops for identification and the two robbers were stupid enough to be standing next to each other, making this an easier process. We don't know what their punishment was but all money was returned plus a twenty.

So 1st timmer go to Adelitas, CC or Hong Kong? I like then about 5' 4" and spinners. If you are looking for spinners i would suggest Adelitas or some of the girls in the alley. The disadvantage to selecting the alley girls is that they do not have a health card and are very mechanical. THe starting rate is $15-$20 for about $15-20 minutes of sex. They will try to upsell you to take off all of their clothes or get into more then 2 positions. You have to also be careful because they look very young. I think Adelitas has the best looking spinners, but the Hong Kong Club is a good place to go first for "lighter fluid". There is a freaky lesbian show that takes place twice a night. I caught the last one around 2am. It included two jars of Costco size cherries and two bottles of Costco size chocolate syrup. The Hong Kong Club is the best place to isolate a girl and potentially get a gfe experience. This club has the least amount of spinners.

The two cops would have been immediately fired and then arrested. They are probably awaiting a trial, they might be in jail. Have your friend keep an eye out just in case they are back on patrol however. I doubt he will encounter them again however.

Yeah, sometimes you see the girls who do not have the cards run for cover when the inspectors start at one end of the alley. The girls are constantly on the lookout for the inspectors.

It is true that most of the girls have cards, and it is true that all of the girls are required to have cards attesting to the fact that at the time they were tested they were disease free.

Never bareback a prostitute, it doesn't help to tell the doctor that the girl had a card if you get some bad news some day. Be Safe.

You were absolutely right.

The "walkers" don't have health cards and THEY are the ones who will bareback you in most cases. Walkers are girls who don't have a "post" in the alley, they roam the zona looking for your money. Very dangerous. Always have a condom in your pocket if you are looking for walkers. Walkers are also most likely to rip you off for valuables.

Walkers pay off the cops to stay out of jail (the "posters" pay a fee as well for protection).

I'm glad you brought this up, because the only woman I have slept with (once) in TJ, I asked specifically about her card, to see it, HIV, etc. She was very understanding and cool about it. In the private room she showed me her ID card, and it had a white sticker dot on it with something written on it. I couldn't tell what it meant, and I didn't ask. Any ideas? It was her though in the picture, as far as I could tell, and she made me feel comfortable. Used protection the entire time, plus lubrication during intercourse. Is it safe to 'assume' that these girls are safe, when using protection? I myself do get tested regularly, and want to stay clean, so I probably wouldn't risk it if I got some stern advice from the older crowd.

Efjayel

Have you never been schooled in the whole safe sex thing? It's mandatory during your high school years if I recall. Basically a condom is one of the best protections you can use from transmitting an STD. Never 100 percent safe though since contracting something can happen through other orifices and openings on your body. Plus the condom can break. It's good practice to change the condom after about 15 minutes of use. Perhaps even less. And never reuse one.

I'm going to assume that the Tj girls go through extensive safe sex lessons before being allowed to partake in their proffesion. So they should already know what they should and shouldn't do otherwise they run a risk as well.

So its not about that the girls are safe or clean, but that nothing is permitted to be transffered during sex. To put it short, "No!" Never assume any of these girls are safe. That even applies to non pros. You should know this.

I will hazard to say that most of the girls don't want to get sick, they are interested in staying healthy because most of not all have kids etc. Getting a health card does more than enable them to work, it assures them and thier client that at the time they were tested, they were clean.

The risk is with the druggies who are going to the hotel with you only because they want to buy another round. They will agree to almost anything including bareback sex, they just want their fix.

The decision to bareback is an individual one, normally made in the heat of the moment using alcolhol as a lubricant for your mind.

Using protection when sessioning working girls is common sense, if you want a bareback experience, pull out and have the girl finish you manually. Arrange this prior to the session.

Once you "bone up" (pun intended) on what these diseases are and what they mean to you, then you can make wise choices in the field.

The best protection is a condom. Some girls want to double condom you. MOngering is a high risk hobby. Know what the risks are. Be safe, get tested. There are many girls who "look clean." You might "look" clean.

You can check the girl on Bareback sex, ask her if she'll do it. See if she'll tka ea few extra bucks. If the girl turns you down then that's a good sign because she probably turns everyone down except her husband or boyfriend. If she willingly acccepts then that tells the story. Govern yourself accordingly.

I guess a health card is better than nothing, but I wouldn't put that much faith in one. It's a snap shot what happened last month, it doesn't cover all the STDs, and a lot of providers work without them. I personally know of a few girls whenthey get back in town start working right away in a bar with the full knowledge of the bar, and maybe later after deciding to stay they will get their health card, and I continue to hear rumors of at least one HIV positive chicas is working in Hong Kong? I don't put much stock in rumors, but I know if a HIV postive chicas wanted to, she could still find work in the business very easy.

Nobody trains the girls to use condoms and use safe sex all the time. If they are lucky another girl, padrote, or managments tells the girl to practice safe sex, and most of them do. But it very hard for some of them to say no to a drink American, or Mexican twice her age and weight who demands sin-condom sex, and just puts his dick in the girl raw while she is saying " condom" " condom" and he isn't listening or offering more money to the girl, and she relents asking the question " are you clean" he says yes, she gives a sigh and says, OK but you cum outside when it's time, or doesn't say anything at all, while the guy pumps away inside her dripping wet pussy.

I myself will engage in bare back sex with the right girl, and certain bars are better than others if that's what your looking for. Do I regret it? Yes sometimes if I found out she has been working in bars for years, and a few days later I'm praying I don't get any symptoms, or I run to a Mexican pharmacy for a dose of powerful antibotics to make sure I don't contact the common STDS, while telling myself I won't do that again, because I know I will.

I don't listen to talk around sex forums that tell you not to engage in bare backing, espeically if the person saying not to engage in barback sex engages in back sex all the time themselves and I'm not talking just a BBBJ I"m talkng BBFS. Guys are big boys here, they should already know the health risks and have their own moral code. and don't need others telling them what they should be doing, and judging from some of the pictures on this fourm in other countries......it seems a lot of guys are engaged in bareback sex.

Interesting post.

There is no excuse for contracting HIV or other STD from a prostitute. Big boys should have the clues to put together the risks and consequences.

Dying and/or passing an STD on to your SO because you failed to exercize good judgement while having sex with is a prostitute is treason on your body and the body of anyone else you bareback. I know that a lot of guys and girls bareback, many have had no problems. Many have not been tested and the effects of HIV can take years to emerge or even be detectable. Scary stuff.

You can try the Hotel Hacienda de Santiago (~$48 per night). It is located right across the street from Bar La Tropa. From Adelita's, you walk out and turn right. Keep going through the intersection and it will be there on the left hand side of the street. You can also try the Hotel Nelson (~$55 per night). It is located right next to the Arch on Revolucion Boulevard. Not right in the zone, but about a two block walk. There are also other hotels further from the zone, but those two are pretty good. No problems with the chicas although if you want to bring one back to the Nelson, make sure you ask and pay for a "double room" - a few dollars more.

i'm sure that's happened and still does. but that's basically [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) cause the girl is forced to do something she doesn't want to. but i doubt anybody would take that seriously and or prosecute. i wonder what kind of security they have for the chicas over something like this. they should perhaps put a panic button in the rooms or something similar. that when pressed it alerts the lobby guy and he can send the cum boys to enter the room and save the chica. but maybe they shouldn't cause if i saw it i would press it just to see how a hotel handles a risk situation and might end up getting my ass kicked over it by the cum boys. they'll be kicking my ass while asking for dollar tips and cleaning the room all at the same time lol

Hey Country John,

Could you please tell me where I can find American walkers in TJ? Been to TJ many times and on few occations I saw American girls "Hoes" walking around CC and AB Alleys. Not sure if they are really working girls or not, and also afraid to walk up and ask fearing that this move warrants the local police for questioning. Is there a particular place or street where these American hoes hang out? Is it safe to ask these girls back to your hotel? meaning, will there be a set up? You can private message me if you want.

The "gringas" are easy to spot, being white and all but Marvin is right, it's hard to tell the Mexicana/Americanas from the real deal.

There is a difference between "street walkers" and alley "posters."

The alley "posters" are usually regulars who stand is a specific location. Some have been around for years.

"Walkers" are just that, they "walk" around the Zona because they do not have permission to stand in front of a hotel or club and fish. They usually do NOT have health cards, they are usually druggies, they will bareback you, they will rob you etc. My advice is to stay away from walkers.

The girls that work the clubs come from TJ and all over Mexico, as do the "posters." You will find girls from the States working the clubs, but they usually won't admit to it, figuring the gringo wants the real deal, and of course to keep their ID private. They even fake their bad english. Mexican girls do not like the American girls working in the clubs. But the Americanas like to screw for money too and some are not that bad looking of course.

Unless they offer it up, the only way to tell the difference is by watching them behave compared to a real woman, the Latina.

I have never been to Tijuana but have been planning a trip for a while now, that’s why I wanted to ask some questions in the forum.

1. I’m a permanent resident in the usa (green card holder). Will the permanent resident card work as a valid form of identification to come back to the usa?

2. Do I need a visa to go to Mexico, as I’m not an American Citizen?

3. Do I need to bring my passport (issued by my country) with me?

4. I don’t know any Spanish, is that a huge problem while negotiating with chicas?

5. None of my close friends are willing to go to Tijuana with me, so I need to go there alone. Although I think I have gathered enough information on how to reach the zona, is it advisable to go there alone?

TIA,

Ben

yes, no, i would, no but if helps if you do, usually not recommended the first time but I did it.

I'll probably be going back to Tj in two weeks or so. That'll actually be during the AdultCon in L.A.

I used to go to that and blow money just to take pics with adult stars and be able to do a really minor cop-a-feel. That was of course until I learned about Tj and its red light district. No way am I wasting money at that stupid convention anymore just to see cleavage and nothing else. Nudity is not allowed. It's a porn convention for god sakes!

It was a waste of money just to see all these somewhat hot girls. I say somewhat cause a lot of those porn stars do not look anything like they do in the pictures and movies. They look wasted and full of blemishes and scars all over their face and bodies. You spend money to park, money to get in, money to take a picture with the girls, money to buy their movies and money for just about anything else. And at the end you leave with nothing but a boner and no money. What a gyp!

This is why in protest of it, I instead go to Tj and have me some real fun. I may also leave with no money but at least I don't leave with a boner. lol

hi all: i have been following these threads for a few months now, a lot of useful information.

i have never been to tijuana but have been planning a trip for a while now, that’s why i wanted to ask some questions in the forum.

welcome to isg, yes there is a lot of info here. it could take a while to get up to speed just from reading the posts. it's like a home study course with an open book test but it's worth it. i'll try to help answer your questions. hopefully your trip will be a good one and you'll share your experiences with us here.

1. i’m a permanent resident in the usa (green card holder). will the permanent resident card work as a valid form of identification to come back to the usa?

your green card is fine. you will have no trouble returning the usa by presenting your green card. don't worry. it's like a passport for a us citizen; the same thing as far as the document requirements go.

2. do i need a visa to go to mexico, as i’m not an american citizen?

no, you do not need a "visa" of any kind. technically, an fmt visa is required of tourists but they usually push those on people travelling south and outside northern tijuana or northern mexico, the "frontera."

you can stop at the immigration office at the border crossing and get one. it is a form that you fill out with your name, passport or green card number and address info etc. they charge $20.00 for it. it is not mandatory so if you forget about it, then just forget about it.

3. do i need to bring my passport (issued by my country) with me?

do not bring documents from two seprarate countries. leave your passport at home. bring your green card and make sure it is secure at all times.

4. i don’t know any spanish, is that a huge problem while negotiating with chicas?

spanish is not a prerequisite, many girls know the basics.

"suckie fuckie twenty dollars." "less go to da hroom." that's about it for most, but nmake no mistake about it: they know exactly why you are there so there will no trouble getting to the room.

be very careful about making sure you have the deal straight before getting undressed, and never leave your stuff alone in the room with the girls. never.

don;t be afrad to walk out on the girl if she changes the deal.

bone up on the various terms etc. there is a lot of info here on it.

spanish would be a major help to you, try to get into it. it is a beautiful language.

5. none of my close friends are willing to go to tijuana with me, so i need to go there alone. although i think i have gathered enough information on how to reach the zona, is it advisable to go there alone?

tia,

no problem as long as you got your head on straight and your eyes open. don't stray out of the zona area. take taxis, don't have anything on you that can be used as a weapon, count your money, don't get stoopid drunk, and no bling. you are not there to impress anyone, you are there to get laid.

don't dress like a tourist. bermuda shorts, tennies, tee shirt and ball cap it's a classic billboard advertising you are tourist and a mark.

be safe and be nice.

Incase you haven't read it already, read through Brockton O'tooles guide. It's very helpful.

And use my map to help you get around Tj. Shameless self promotion :)
But its a good map, regardless...

Monger Ben,

Country John is tons more experienced than me and he is right that you will be marked as a tourist if you wear "standard" American garb. However, I like to be comfortable (i.e. wear what he calls "tennies") and I've never had a problem. They're going to know you're a tourist as soon as you open your mouth anyway. And you won't be alone even if you wear all the things that he warns against. Do avoid any "bling" though for obvious reasons.

Hello All,

Well thought I would give you guys an update on my two count them two trips to TJ. So me and my two buddies decide we should go to TJ, but we like taking newbies with us to show them the ropes. One of my buddies went and got his birth certificate, since he was born in L. A. All he had to do was go to the public records building and pay 17 bucks and they gave him an instant copy. We managed to talk "bryan" into coming with us. Let me give you guys some background intel on "bryan":

Bryan rules! He has the worst luck ever and it makes him so comical. He is addicted to L. A. Strip clubs (hes one of those dudes that think all the strippers want him and not his money. Ok). We have a strip club out here called Silver Reign Bryan still owes them money LOL.

Any way I had to trick him into coming with us, saying it was our mutual friends birthday and we were taking him to TJ. We also got another dude to come with us. We all crammed my friends Yaris, and we were off. We finally got there and I felt good, almost like returning home type of feeling. We made our way to the taxis and instructed him to go to Purple Rain.

We get there and its EMPTY! Its Saturday and it was Empty as all hell.

Before I go on, I must confess, Benny my friend that goes on all our trips, um. Kinda sorta is falling for one of the working chicks. He always picks her and really likes her cause she pays a lot of attention to him. Her name is Chris-Tall like crystal but said differently. So we get there take a seat at a table near the stage and I start scouting the place. The chick I want is talking to some Old Asian dude. This dude is also talking to Chris-Tall, and me and my buddy were like lets take them! So we did. Dude the girl I got was so beautiful. She was light skinned brown/blonde hair, nice body and yeah she was the hottest one there. But since she was the hottest one there she wasn’t the best fuck. But what ever her beauty is pretty much what got me off. So my friend waited for Chris-tall and I went upstairs with my chick. We fucked, first with a BJ then some other positions etc. We finished and I went back down stairs and saw all my friends were gone except Benny who was still waiting for Chris-tall. They leave and I'm left alone. Kinda hate that, being there all alone, I mean I have nothing else to do. So I drank my coke and just watched the stripping show.

Finally all my friends make there way back downstairs and we give each other Hi 5 and what have you and we go outside for some tacos! I ate like 8 there good. Anyway we ask my friend bryan what he did (one of our rules if you come with us is that ya gotta tell us what happened) LOL guess what he said. He sixty Fuckin nined her! Only bryan could do that! That’s what makes him a living legend. We then left TJ to the border.

Ok the lines to get out were pretty empty. I showed the border patrol dude my drivers licence and birth certificate and he waived me through. They only hassled one of my buddies saying that he needs to bring a birth certificate or passport next time. Then we went home telling stories of what happened. We asked bryan if his penis touched her pussy and he said yes. Two days later he texted one of my other friends that he trusts and told him that he did not fuck but just got a handy and BJ.

So 6 days pass, I'm on a date at midevil times and my friend rings me. Wanna go to TJ? I raced home and dropped my girl off and waited for my friend to come get me. He picked me up at like 1AM LOL. We had 2 newbies that wanted to go. So we were off. Again. Honestly I was alittle tired but did not wanna say no cause I'm always down to fuck. So we get there and the Gate is closed. The gate that leads you to the bridge. The patrol told us to walk around. We took a cab. We went to Purple rain again. Benny barely caught Christall as she was leaving and they did there thing while we all did ours. I got a pretty thin young looking chick, she said she was 21. And we left after fucking. Pretty fast trip. We went to the border and holy fuck I saw a american chick with this pink short as dress. Dam I wanted her bad. But yeah we left for home. We rested at a rest area cause everyone was sleeping. I got back home at around 730 am LOL.

How much you paying at purple rain? And do they ever play the purple rain song over there? lol

I personally didn't care for Purple Rain, the "lineup" routine was quaint but the girls IMO didn't measure up to Adelitas. Last time I was there, a cute little spinner with a grim reaper tattooed on her back took care of my buddy while I fended off the remaining lesser hoes. That said, the beers were cheap and cold, the atmosphere wasn't as frenetic as say Ad's or HK and (dare I say it) the neighbourhood seemed. Safer?

The primary reason we go to TJ is the poontang, the secondary reason is the. Poontang. Is there another, other than speculating on real estate in la Zona?

lol safer? PR is in a crappy area and walking from there to the rest of zona at night alone is a big risk with alot of cash in your pockets. Walked around hundreds of times with lots of money between HK, AB, CC, Tropical and never get bothered other then by beggers and aggresive alley chicas tugging at your sleeves with a 'f$ck me please for $20' look in their eyes.

AB or HK at night usually has alot very good looking talent. 40-70+ chicas and pretty much all the AB girls can be had for $60 or less for a 1/2 hour of f#cking without having to buy a $40 massage, buckets of beer or other bs. HK chicas, most will go for $60, but alot of them make so much in dancing tips and drinks that some dont go arriba.

Dornyone
04-13-08, 15:53
OK, so the PR locale isn't Irvine, we were there in the early evening and used cabs to get there and back from the border. We appear to agree that the hoes aren't up to the quality of those for rent in Adelitas.

D Cooper76

Dropped into the zona last night around 7:30 and went straight to Adelitas, man it was wall to wall people, I couldn’t even find a table to sit. So I cruised over to Chicago and it was the exact opposite, so I sat down and ordered a few whiskey’s and kicked back. Saw nothing that interested me so I took a lap around the alley. Chatted with a few of my fav’s and continued on to check out the newer talent, there was this cutie who would joke with me as I walked by and yell out to me when I was on the other side of the street, she seemed like a fun girl so I made a mental note. I rolled back to Adelitas and it had cleared out a bit so I stayed and watched a two girl pole dance, man they know how to shake that ass.

I really didn’t want to end up with a starfish this time so I was being more picky than normal. So I headed back to the alley to find the chica I had seen earlier. I strolled up to her and she played around with me saying that I had not gone with her earlier so now she wouldn’t go with me. We agreed on 20 for everything and headed up, paid for the room which I think was 5. Her name is Alejandra I think, from Mexico city. We had good chemistry so I knew that this would be a good session. She was playful, nice and knew a little English, so with my little Spanish we kept the conversation going. She seemed to enjoy the porno on the tv so that was a promising sign.

On with the cover and she started with a great bj. Good suction, eye contact, and not too much teeth. She kept at it longer than I have experienced in the zona which was nice. She then hopped on top and really rode me well, with varying pace and technique. She is just a tad thick in the belly from having a kid, but I like them to keep the school uniform skirt on anyway so I really couldn’t see. She had great tits though, nice large C or small D size which she pulled out above her bra. She pulled my head up to them so I could lick and suck to my hearts content. She had those cat-like painted on eyebrows which I really like and some nice full lips with dark red lipstick which she let me kiss a little. She was really grinding me good and started to moan authentically which is always nice.

On to doggy which was fantastic. Her long raven-black hair looked awesome streaming down her back. Her ass was great too, nice and toned, not too soft and jello like. I finally unleashed a nice load as she squealed and moaned. And then instead of immediately pulling me out of her, she slowly pumped me with her ass making sure to get every last drop, NICE. We finished up as the knock came, chatted a bit more and I gave her a little tip for the good attitude and effort. She usually posts near Hong Kong.

On my walk back to the linea, I saw a couple Federale trucks zipping around wig-wags flashing, loaded with guys, machine guns at the ready. Later on the funniest thing happened, a little girl shyly came up to me and asked for some money, now I have a soft spot in my heart for them so I gave her a couple of buck and she went happily on her way. Then I heard her yelling something and the next thing I hear is a stampede of little footsteps. And I am surrounded by, I shit you not, 10 little kids. She even came up to me again asking for money, I told her I had given her some already, which she denied, but funny thing was she still had the money I had given her clutched in her little hand. Oh well I probably fell victim to a scam, but like I said I have a soft spot in my heart and will probably continue to give a few bucks here and there.

Got to the border line and it was long. I wasn’t there two minutes when this American dude came up to me giving me a line about all his belongings being stolen and he even showed me some sort of paperwork that he had filed with the police. He wanted some money for the trolley as he has to get back to work tommorow. So I gave him a little and told him that I hopped he wasn’t BS’ing me. The next thing I know he is not concerned with getting across the border but has to find a ‘bathroom to take a leak’ and I never see him again. Oh well, my Karma is clear, and I did my good deed for the year.

The line-up took an hour and the agent asked what I was brining back and I said ‘just some liver damage’ to which she laughed and said ‘haven’t heard that one before.’

Until next time fellow mongers

First off, the O'Toole guide is a thorough guide to TJ. I have been about 5 times and he is right on the money with everything. To anyone looking to go, read it and MEMORIZE it before going. You will not have a problem.

I have to register a complaint about the Adelita Bar though. It seems that the 'knocks' on the hotel door are coming earlier and earlier. They can be quite persistant and I have had up to 3 knocks while finishing my business. This is very annoying.

I was told that at Chicago Club you take as long as you need, though the report seems to indicate they may just be a bit more lax on knocking. A group of us are going very soon and were thinking about trying Chicago for a change. If anyone can provide more info on this, it would be great.

As for Adelitas and the whole scene down there, the question I get asked most often is if the girls are really that hot. The answer, yes. I have brought many doubting people to TJ and they were amazed and drooling over the women. You will find the girl of your dreams here. Two other tips not to be understated is to be clear on everything before going to the hotel. This includes if all of their clothes will be removed. I have had girls refuse to fully remove their tops for some odd reason. The other tip is to have $1 ready upon leaving your room. If the room guy does not remind you, the guy at the front desk will and the girl will as well. Be ready to give it to the guy walking the halls as a tip.

There seems to be a lot of questions about security as well. I recently looked into this and I follow events in TJ as close as I can. They had a few high profile shootouts last year between drug gangs. The TJ police were corrupt and there were many problems. This, along with new re-entry requirements to the US, have dropped tourism in TJ about 95%. This is affecting all of TJ. They brought in the federal police and are doing everything to keep TJ safe. I am told that is has never been safer.

While I do not have any reservations about going here, read and follow the guide. You still do not want to wander off into areas not outlined in the guide or try to walk to the zona to save $5.

If anyone has any other thoughts on crime problems here recently, please let me know.

AB does have early knocks happening frequently on Friday and Saturday. Other nights they are not as bad. Your chica can often tell the guy beforehand to not be so prompt but alot will actually encourage the knocks so they can get down quicker to hook their next catch. If you go like on a say Wednesday for example , the early knock shouldnt happen unless the chica is a rob.

Because CC is alot deader and the chicas often less busy most nights you pretty much will get your 30 minutes and sometimes depending on if the chica is trying to hook you as a repeat customer you'll get 45+ minutes before she finally finishes showering and dressing while doing small talk if she speaks english or you speak spanish.

Problem is the selection of chicas is alot smaller at CC vs AB especially in the hot busty girls.

Sometimes tipping the hotel timekeeper works though usually it wont.

Check out he Crime thread in this section. There is a lot of information there. Most people get into trouble returning late at night. If you are young and drunk, you'll get robbed by the cops when returning.

Adelita Bar is like the phone company. They don't care because they don't have to. After 10 minutes in the room, they figure you paid the girl. Since you already paid for the room and if there is a line waiting, then they could care less how offended you get by an early knock.

Do not think that The Adelitas Bar is at all concearned about you. They are not, know that going in. Fortunately for them, sex sells and will continue to sell whether or not you ever return. They will not miss you, you have nothing to hope for, nothing to gain by complaining so don't waste your time.

It's your money and you have the right to give it whoever you want to give it to. There are other clubs in the Zona and mongering is (or should be) a "hobby." Treat it as a hobby and develop it through experience. Adelita is not an experience, it is a process where "getting fucked" involves more than sex with the girl. Govern yourself accordingly.

Be safe and be nice,

Some AB girls have a standing order with the cleanup guy to knock early. I haven't heard a girl tell the guy to knock early, but on chicas I get good service from and are fairly popular, they'll specifically say something to get more time. If you want to get an idea of which girls rush it, hang around the entrance for 1hr to 1.5hrs and clock the girls you're interested in. One girl who claims to be making several thousand a week (and I believe it) can go through 3 guys in just over an hour when its busy, and that includes the downtime to hook another guy.

Sometimes tipping the hotel timekeeper works though usually it wont.Yeah very hit or miss with tipping the towel guy. But at CC when it's fairly dead before 8pm, I've had times where no knock came because they just let it go. I've had a few times where my chica let it go another 1/2 hour if there was no knock, because she'd rather be lounging in the room than hanging around downstairs with few customers around.

You'll get a lot more appreciation from the girls if you go early. It's usually 3-4 customers to 12-15 girls by 6-7pm. The girls are slow with their fichas, probably when the privados get put it, you'll get extra care from the early shift. The potential for GFE is just much better in that setting. Of course, the rub is a much smaller selection that AB.

I do wonder if some of the chicas, once they get comfortable with the privados, if they'd be willing to do 2 girl privados when its slow.

Before I go into a room I tell the bellboy on duty "Tip. No knock. Ok?"

If you are young and drunk, you'll get robbed by the cops when returning. Thanks! We are mid 30's never had a problem and follow the guide, so we never drink too much in TJ. Once we got out and there was a lone TJ cop at the "sentry" drop off point. We paid him no attention and when about our business without any problems. The recent State Department warning is a bit worrisome, however, I am a paranoid person but still feel that if we follow the rules we will be fine.

" We can do this in the states for just under $200. It is all about the experience here. The enormous selection of ladies, the loud mexican music, everything. Like a fine wine, there is more to this than just guzzling it down. You are wise, and like us know that going to AB is truly an experiance. We will enjoy it.

Thanks for the help!

Any tips for hotels close to the action with wifi and decent [bath]room (I am staying in TJ for 4-5 nights)? I have checked and found not much in the other reports (incl O'Toole's TJ Guide). It would be great if the hotel is Girl Friendly and definitely would need a in-room safe.

Somewhere safe enuff to walk to the action.

Thanks

I tell 'em "Some very pleasant memories.."When asked "Did you bring anything back with you?" I responded, "I hope not" and got a hilarious expression from the border guy - sort of laughing mixed with disgust. Like I farted.

I'm very surprised that people are having issues with early knocks.

Before I go into a room I tell the bellboy on duty "Tip. No knock. Ok?"

That usually works.
Question: Who would the bell boy happen to be? The desk guy or cum swabber? The desk guy.

No...

Far as I know the desk guy doesn't get a tip its the cum boy who does. And telling the desk guy that there is a tip for no knock would be pointless since he never comes to the room and knocks only the cum swabber/bell boy does. So the tip comment should be directed to the cum boy. Although, many times I don't see the cum boy until he comes to knock. Otherwise they usually hang out by the desk, and I wouldn't be telling the guy to not knock in front of the desk guy. He has his job to run on keeping customers coming in and out on time.

I always tipped the desk guy. He tells the knock boys where and when to knock because he has the log. I tipped the cum cleaner about .25 and when he complained, I told him I tipped the desk guy, talk to him. Case closed.

The cum boys report to the desk clerk, or at leas that's how I understood it and it always worked for me. Your experience may differ. Suc is life in the Zona.

I tip nobody and have no problems at all with door knocks. I have not had a door knock in years! Again, once people down there know who you are they leave you alone.

I do not think tipping them really helps. The only real way to get them to leave you alone is to be a regular in the same hotels.

Now, as far as Adelitas goes, since I never go in there, I am sure I will get the knock in like 12 minutes!

Just got back from Mexicali and Tijuana.

I won't go into much detail since I don't remember few things about it. I checked out El Tiger on the main street in the afternoon and managed to get a free touch of two girls breasts because I asked for big breasts and they said what about these two girls and the manager a female says go ahead touch them to see if they are big enough. After feeling both breasts I was still bit skeptical and the manager said well what about her breasts and she (manager) says touch hers to see if they were big enough so I touched them nicely and I love it. So I decided to take one of the girl for a nice private booth with lights on since the one she took me had no lights at all. She was very beautiful with blonde hair can't remember her name but has a nice breasts and they are 38D. Although I'd prefer bigger like DDD or even E or G but they are good enough for now. Anything smaller than 36C is not good enough for comfort or to actually feel the touch of their breasts. I paid her only 200 pesos for 30mins. Its been awhile since I've felt a girls breasts.

Nice BJ with condom on, she loves it when I suck on her tits it makes her arousing.

I checked out this other place about 9:30pm at ALOHA I think thats the name if I remember right or HOLA. This girl is hot and beautiful. Her breasts got to be 38DD, they were the best breasts I've felt from any other girls in Tijuana. I love the shape and the size and the texture. I felt like I was in heaven. Since there were few problems about the pricing I got her for 200 pesos for 40mins. After dealing with her I've decided to buy her several drinks so I can chat with her since she can speak some english like I can speak some spanish. I managed to get her cell phone number and her family's home address. She even said if I come down I can stay at her place so I don't have to worry about hotel stay which is awesome. TJ Fannatic or any other mexican mongers I hope you can tell me if this address makes any sense and that its a true legit address. However I'm going to use a differ house number but I will use the same street number she gave me. This is what she wrote on a piece of paper.

Calle #10 Febe #60 Rosarito Colinas Del Sol. Can you please varify this is a complete address and its legit. I asked few of my mexican friends and they say different things. They don't know what is Febe? They think its suppose to be Febreror which doesn't make sense, its the month of Feb, he said something is missing or missed spelled. My other friend says there is something missing needs colony or name of residential? Please help me. I want to keep in touch with this girl so I can visit her for 2 weeks and at least I won't get any charges on her one more thing if above is correct address is this how its suppose to write on envelope.

Where is the best place to have fun with 10-15 friends for a bachelor party? I was planning on HK and AD but sounds like HK is closed for renovation. Guess it will have to be AD an CC. CC has room which is nice but I haven't seen the goods for awhile. I know we all won't be able to sit together at AD. Mermaid's should have lots of room but it doesn't get interesting until its upstairs.

Anyone have any suggestions. We are going down tomorrow after the UFC fight. Anyone know if any of the bars will show the ufc fight for free? Anyways we will be arriving after 9pm.

I will report back. Funny thing is only 3 have been out of the 10-15 that are suppose to go. I will remind them not to act like dumb drunks or we will all be at atm's trying to get them out of jail.

Suggestions for tomorrow's b-party would be great!

IF HK is open maybe I can finally get in the VIP second floor area. I heard good things happen up there.

I wouldn't go to Tj even less so to the Red Zone District with a pack of 15 tourist looking guys. That's just such an easy target group for cops to "pat down" if you know what I mean. It'd be such an easy score.

Same guys standing outside now were there in the 90s. back then they had squeaky little booths where the girl would sit you down on a bench and then ride you for 15 minutes ($20). It sounds as if things are the same, though you only took a BJ.

The booths were really loud in the 90s and I remember my friends always thought I was really giving it to the girls when in reality the girls were always riding me!

I might try El Tigre again.

I will check on that address the girl gave you.

You don;t want to be throwing money around of course, especially if you are headed into a starfish session.

I'd slip two bucks and say "No knock, OK?" He's give me the nod and off I would go. Most other times when I didn't do this, I'd tip the cum boy. This did not mean I could stay in the room all night; there would still be a "knock." If it was a half hour session, it could take 40 minutes before the knock.

There is another dude that would hang out by the front desk and ask for a propina, really pissed me off. I'd tell him that I gave HIS tip to the cum boy.

Las pulgas is just a regular club, its not like you can get with a chick in there can you?

Properly dressed, mannered up and behaving well, you'll find many that many girls will be willing to dance and hang out. Las Pulgas is not the Zona Norte and while the prepared monger can score, it's more for a guy looing for a mate or a relationship beyond a one night session. It's a "locals" club and you'll be outnumbered for sure. Spanish is very helpful at Las Pulgas. Many girls do not speak English.

Guys and girls hook up all the time for one night stands, Las pulgas would be no different than any other similar club Stateside but the quakity of "woman" (in my opinion) far exceeds what you'll find Stateside.

You should go, check it out, talk tot he girls, get a feel for the place and then plan your game. I think you'll like the place.

One word of caution: Las pulgas is a huge club and there are literally thousands of people there in three different venues on the weekends. Make very very certain you know where the emergency exits are because there are not many and in the event of a fire, you would have a major stampede to deal with. Try to stay within a short throw from the exits to ensure you get out in the event something happens.

It's always been a concern of mine and I always followed that advice. Go there and have fun.

"Quakity," sheesh...I think I invented a new word. I guess then I would define it and the degree to which a chica is "quacky."

No, those girls would not be headed to Las Pulgas, they'd be headed to other clubs, like the ones in the Pueblo Amigo plaza. There is a thriving club scene in TJ, many teens cross over so they can get drunk and stupid.

Hey guys,

I am new to this site. But I have been using *************s website for about a month now. I want to start a new thread but it says I have to pay a membership? I thought it was free to post threads? Ne ways I have just been wondering where is the best affordable place to live along the mexican-american border. I have heard from many people that TJ is the best but california seems to be expensive. The cheapest place I could find was in El cajon for 645. Im a security guard and I dont make alot of money. I have been told that the Rio Grand Valley is the best option. Ne ways guys can yall tell me how I can start a new thread? And again need some help here. I wanna be close to affordable housing and pussy:)

ISG costs a mere $19.95 per year. That's $1.66 per month or an average 6 cents per day. Not much for the wealth of information available not to mention the other benefits. You'll get more than you money's worth, so go ahead and join up.

Rent in TJ is much cheaper than the USA. You'll get a nice place here for $650.00. Your problem will be crossing back to the USA every day to report to your post. If you drive, it could be 3 hours in line, or more in the early morning. It's a heartbreaker.

Tijuana is not just a place to live, it's a "way of life," so I'd think seriously about moving here. You should want to be here, not just because it's cheaper. Mexican culture Tijuana style takes understanding and patience but the rewards are well worth it. I live and work here and I love it. The toughest part for me was slowing the fuck down. I would run a million miles an hour State-side but that doesn't work here.

Anyhow, join ISG and send your money to the "Save Jackson Fund." Twenty bucks. Sheesh.

Be safe and be nice.

I'm drooling to hit TJ again, haven't been there in over 6 months, but these gas prices are ridiculous, it will cost me $80 round trip plus $9 freaking parking another $10 taxi, not to be whining about it, but this is just to get to AB door.

Would just like to report back that all the chatter I've heard about La Mancion is true, its a very classy little hotel. Paid 80 dollars (including tip) for 8 hours in a standard room. Felt very safe, room service was quick and friendly, and overall the experience was great. I had no problem leaving my drivers license with the front desk. We got a wake up call when 8 hours was up (wish I had it for the whole night I was tiiiiired), and a taxi was waiting for us to take me back to the line and to take my girl back to her home. Drivers license was waiting for me too when we left the complex, absolutely no problems at all.

Anytime I go to TJ to see my girl I will for sure go back to this hotel. A+

Thanks for the invite. I've been away from MSN an yahoo messenger for quite some time. Not that I don't like communicating, I certainly do. And I am always happy to help you or answer any questions you might have in these forums or via PM.

Yahoo and MSN became distractions. Since moving to TJ it's been a very busy time.

Drug cartel battles are becoming more of a war with the cops and the military. There was a running gunfight on Blvd. Insurgentes last night at about 1:45AM. Eight people injured and 13 killed -all bad guys. The Mayor and the Governor have vowed that there will be no "backing off." The bad guys are getting the worst of it. Only one cop was injured, thank goodness.

It's hard to tell what will happen next in TJ, but tourists are not targets and neither are mongers. Both need to be aware of their surroundings. I doubt anyting will happen in the Zona. The clubs owners are too well connected and the one thing the drug cartels do NOT need right now is problems with the mob.

actually, i am an illegal alien in mexico. that is until my visa gets sorted out. fortunately for me i was able to establish a business in mexico, with an excellent partner. the future is very promising and we are very excited about it. my goal is to put 10 years or so in here then retire in mexico as originally planned, way back before w-2 walked.

mexico runs at "half speed" as far as the "wheels of commerce" are concerend. slowing down your pace is an "enforced" reality because things will never move as fast as you might be accustomed to state-side. but i like that and i think and feel as though i am already "semi-retired," given my situation.

i was almost "deported" once however. i was visiting a client at his factory and i did not have by fmt-commercial visa up to date when the mexican immigration guys showed up. they are a very serious group of guys. we had to convince them that i was not there working (a lie) but merely stopped by to say hello to an old friend.

bluenose i believe married flor de miami club and lives under the large flag on the hill. he had quite a crush on her for a long time and i think maybe it got the better of him.

i like living here. it suits me. i think i made the right choice. one thing that is hard to get used to is that the eye candy is everywhere. if you're a single guy looking for a sweet girley for a relationship that will last into the future (as long as you behave and don't get stupid) then this is the place. unbelievable opportunities.

i have an excellent relationship (almost 3 years) with a very cool maya girlie and i have my control back after a very disturbing divorce. tijuana is an interesting place to live. it is an experience and a way of life. the violence is significant of course but it isn't running anyone's life here. people take it in stride and deep down appreciate the efforts of the military and the cops.

i'm only kidding about bluenose. he's out there and still actively mongering. we need to do dinner again, so contact me bluenose!

be safe and be nice

i was almost "deported" once however. i was visiting a client at his factory and i did not have by fmt-commercial visa up to date when the mexican immigration guys showed up. they are a very serious group of guys. we had to convince them that i was not there working (a lie) but merely stopped by to say hello to an old friend.

bluenose i believe married flor de miami club and lives under the large flag on the hill. he had quite a crush on her for a long time and i think maybe it got the better of him.

i like living here. it suits me. i think i made the right choice. one thing that is hard to get used to is that the eye candy is everywhere. if you're a single guy looking for a sweet girley for a relationship that will last into the future (as long as you behave and don't get stupid) then this is the place. unbelievable opportunities.

i have an excellent relationship (almost 3 years) with a very cool maya girlie and i have my control back after a very disturbing divorce. tijuana is an interesting place to live. it is an experience and a way of life. the violence is significant of course but it isn't running anyone's life here. people take it in stride and deep down appreciate the efforts of the military and the cops.

i'm only kidding about bluenose. he's out there and still actively mongering. we need to do dinner again, so contact me bluenose!

nice post cj,
i'm sure your running your own business there in tj, if don't mind asking is it related to the tourist, a restaurant perhaps?
the only way i can see myself living in tj would be with back up money, i don't think there is many job opportunities, what would you say is a good business investment right now in tj?
isn't funny that they enforce immigration laws in mexico? lol.
if i'm not mistaking if you own a business or a residence in baja you need to apply for permanent mexican residence and after 5 yrs you can became a mexican citizen, but i'm not very sure about it, maybe you know the numbers better than me.

btw, the only people they're deporting back to the u.s are gang members which were born here.

The business is unrelated to the tourist industry. I had a similar operation in California for 13 years but got so sick of dealing with the US Marketplace and the Federal and State Governments, I said: "Enough is enough." I did business in Mexico for many years prior and travelled often, visiting such places as Guadalajara, Culiacan, Monterrey, Mexicali, Hermosillo etc. I always enjoyed the time.

Then W2 decided to walk and with that came the motivation to make it a reality (living and working in Mexico). I do have reserve funds in case I have to make a qick exit, but I always had several months income in the bank anyway, it's especially important here though.

Good investments are difficult to identify if you don't understand the culture well. The best "investment" would be one in which you have some form of control, so that you can push the buttons and pull the levers. An exit plan is always wise too.

I'm not sure about Mexican citizenship; never gave it much thought. I hold two passports now and I might have to give one up. Not wanting to give up either I'll probably be "on the fence" so to speak for a few years until we see which way the worm goes.

I'm glad I made the move. I am in the third trimester of my life and this change is one I can handle easily and one that gives me as much excitement as I can handle while maintaining a very relaxed atmosphere in a friendly buisness climate. The women are unbelievable. I fall in love a thousand times a day. What is it with these Latinas?

Anyways, I used to be long to the largest street gang in LA, but we'll save that for another time. ;-)

But my final point, gangs are stupid. It's all about trying to look hard and the only real thing they do is make a mockery of Mexicans. The blacks look pretty stupid too but at least they managed to make it into a fad and created a whole bunch of wiggers which are funny to laugh at.

Gangs would be a concentration of such individuals. Some people need a group environment in order to think. It's too bad when you realize just how capable people can be, that they get sucked into a life of utter stupidity. Ignorance is not bliss. The graveyards are full of such examples.

You can rent a decent space in TJ (for an office) for between $350 and $500 a month plus utils.

I use to have a small joint by the race track years ago was decent not bad, I would come down for monger reasons and enjoy my stay in TJ. But that went bye bye. Ended up at Hotel Zaragoza every weekend or motel6 this is not the motel 6 your mom and dad would go to. Gal from one of the local bars took me there not clean not nice, but served the purpose.

The gangs have always been in TJ, just not so noticeable as now, seems to me the that these people are more vicious and devious than before with more scams than before. Jerks one and all and ruining the good times, ride them cowboy carry your holster and gun, I am only kidding about this, but that seems to be the mentality now days.

Happy hunting and good times to all.

I'm curious to find out myself but I doubt he'll tell us for security reasons. Whatever, it's not important anyways. But I'll change the subject a little bit.

Most of the times, I see regular looking guys at the bars but once in a while I see a gang member which usually has me saying that a person like that can only mean trouble for the rest of us and even himself. I'll admit that I am prejudice against cholos cause I've selfishly smirked when seeing some of them being padded down or being taken away by the TJ policia.

For a gang member it can be very likely that he's carrying a weapon while in Tj. Although they'd be completely stupid to do so since they are prime targets for the policia to pat down. But if any of them make it to the bars with a weapon and they get looked at wrong, you just know that thing is going to go off and if previous gang violence has thought us anything, it's usually an innocent bystander that gets hit. And I'd hate to have my life end as a quick news blurb of another victim of gang violence.

All that put aside, luckily the few I have seen at the bars haven't caused any trouble. Although I did see one get put down by one of girls. She was sitting in front of me talking to another girl and this cholo guy came up to her and kissed her on her cheek. She turned to look at him and he had a huge smile on his face but he seemed a little too happy(if you know what I mean). She faced away from him and held her palm toward his face. He put up his hands as if saying, "what did I do." But yet held that big smile of his. She stayed in that position until he walked away. She then said, "Esta drogrado!" Meaning he's all doped up. From a distance he looked at her and gestured with his hands again with that big smile. She ignored him again. It was a good laugh.

i don't believe cj is hiding for any security reasons, he already said he has 2 passports, and he's always crossing back to the states, i don't think he wants to take chances of getting arrested if he was a wanted man?
my guess is that he is a black man in his 50s dating, a similar but younger morena maya girl who he really loves.
did i get it right cj?
anyway this is not important just pure curiosity, i've been reading many post from cj for many years and i honestly think he's cool and he's always helping other mongers, and providing up to date tj and zona info!

anyway like you said different subject!
i haven't seen any latino gangs inside ab, i've seen a few black dudes dressing like gangs but maybe they're just homies, i don't know?
i've seen a few latinos with the gang tattoos on neck etc, walking outside or hiding behind the doors of those old roach house motels across cc, there's a few even working the taxi libre, maybe tj gang recovery program?

i think most are padrotes dealing with **** girls and or drug addicts, so yeah be careful who you deal with in the zona, like cj stated before, you can get lure to a rat hole motel room and get club by these guys.
i really doubt they have guns in tj, the last thing you want is getting caught with a gun in tj , not very smart.

anyway, i never got bothered by these deported gang members, if some of these guys ever give you a hard time, just tell the cops or to the security @ ab they will take care of the problem, the mongers are priority in the zona, and if the locals are harassing the monger community they will get a warning from tj finest!
btw, i've seen these guys as far down ensenada around the tourist track.

Why all this interest of what someone does or did for a living?

I remember when I use to post here often about 5 years ago it was me who started a rumor Country John may be a cop, because he use to talk about the "Crown Victoria" he use to drive, and the things he said that could get a monger in trouble if he tried those things in the US. So I said it sounds like LE to me, and others also joined in. Country John did have some police knowledge, but that doesn't always mean you are a cop. Later I think he said he was an ex-cop, or played at ex-cop if my memory serves me well, and it could be the meaning of being in the largest gang in LA, the LAPD?

I also had a chance to play a cop online. Once when I joined another site and hide my identity, people were sure I was this crazy-ass monger, who also happened to be a cop who worked in San Diego, and nothing could convince them otherwise, so I went with the flow and played a part of a cop and it's lot of fun doing it telling guys what a tough guy you are, and I even had a brother who was ex-LAPD, but in reality I worked in a office and the only danger I faced was slipping on the wet floor after a mop it.

I'm not going to try to guess what somebody does for a living. But what I have found is many mongers for some reason like to make the claim they are ex-Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Delta Force, or other kind of special force guys.

Not far behind these "special force" guys are FBI and the common streets cop..That's not to say we don't have real cops on this site, I bet we do....but with that cop personality they have I doubt many monger in the US, and I believe 99% of the guys who claim they are navy seals....aren't.

I think it's best to just say your a monger, and not talk about what you do for a living.

If your talking about the garage next to CC, the hotel leyva parking is still there however I would recommend parking a prietos which is on Calle Cohuila, the next clock after adelitas. Across from Miami.

Thanks Mark I spaced out it was the one next to CC. Does Prietos have better security ? I am more worried about making sure my car does not disappear as opposed saving a few pesos. I never belonged to a criminal organization, so forget the negative street gang image. It's not me. I'm early '50's living in TJ with two companies running. I have a great life with a Maya chica de Rancho and I am very happy with how things are going in the third trimester of my life.

I don't have to pretend to be anything. I don't need to impress anyone. I have much more going on in my life. I do not work in law enforcement. I am not "hiding" for an reason, no need to. I am enjoying a good life in Mexico.

Parking across the street from CC is good. It's a secure lot and well supervised. Parking at Leyva is also not a bad idea although some think the cops are watching the place. Not true anymore.

You must remember that guys get whacked for riding dirty, being drunk or being stupid. Many many mongers arrive and leave every day without incident. Everyone I talk to in the Zona says business is way down, the rateros are hungrier than ever so be wary of ANYONE that approaches you. Try to go with known providers if possible.

Be extra careful at ATM machines. I noticed a guy with a wad of atm cards in his hand leaving a rat bag apartment building. He must have had 50 of them. He was counting them like money, so these guys are out there and they are looking for you.

I've been down south for Cinco de Mayo. Guess they where right in the movie, Born in East L.A. In a scene where they are in L.A. they come to a Cinco De Mayo celebration and Cheech Marin tells the girl that its a Cinco De Mayo parade. So then the Mexican girl asks, "What's Cinco de mayo?" He replies, with something like, "I don't know but they like to celebrate it over here."

Basically, when I was in Tj, it just seemed like your normal regular day in Tj. No special occasions celebrations or anything. Apparently they don't celebrate it in Mexico. This was last year and it even fell on a Saturday. Oddly enough Tj was less than busy for a regular Saturday. I Guess all the gringos decided to celebrate Cinco De Mayo in the only place that celebrates it, back in the states.

With all the stories about the economy and the shoot-outs, I thought tj would be dead. Wrong. I went to the parking lot behind the Jack in the box, full, with about 5 cars waiting to get in. The parking lot across the street was also full. I ended up parking at the duty free across the freeway. It was only $8.00 for the full 24 hours.

Before crossing the entry gates, there were cops stopping people and checking them out. Not sure why and this was the first time I have ever seen them searching people before going into tj..

First I had to take care of some business at the Mexicana airlines office. Got there at 2:00, they close at 3:00. From there I walked to my favorite restaurant Cheripan. This was the first time I seen some gringoes in there. Word must be getting out.

After the early dinner I went to Viva-max. Still good quality service but I don't like the waiting room. I only had to wait 5 minutes, but the waiting room is behind a window that faces Revolution.

From there I went to the Hsbc bank only to find out they close the atm at 5:00 pm. At least on the weekends. Good thing I also had cash.

First stop in the zona, l/c and miami. At l/c the best looking girls were with someone. I walked up to miami, there were alot of girls there, but none to my liking. After finishing my drink I headed off to t/b. I will report in that section.

When I go to tj, I usually stay until 10 or 11:00 pm. Today I got to the border at 9:30. I should have stayed at the clubs. The line wasn't actually that long, but at 11:00, there us usually no line. Anyways, the line started at about the pharmacy near the sports book. I got through at around 10:00 so the wait was about 1/2 hour.

You went sunday right? If Tj was jumping, how where the clubs? More girls to guys or the opposite? Did you check out HK? Was it open? Brief me on this Cheripan restaurant.

I've gone on Sundays and about 10 to 11 am the parking lot behind Jack-in-the box is usually empty and no lines to wait. Only time I've ever waited was getting there in the afternoon on a saturday.

These cops patting people going into Tj, did you ask them what they where looking for?

5 de Mayo is more of a USA thing than a Mexico thing. It celebrates the kicking of the French's ass at Pueblo de Los Angeles in the early 1800's by the Mexicans. While it might be observed on a smaller scale in Mexico, the Mexican Americans get to yuk yuk for a day.

I was there on Sunday late afternoon. HK and AB were crowded. CC was empty (3 chicas and no men besides us). I don't pay much attention to the number of guys but it was around equal to the number of girls in HK and AB.
