Are we comparing the wealth of south Florida vs Houston? Are you kidding me? I lived in south Florida. And I also was a frequent visitor to Houston. An example to illustrate is I've got an App where I earn loyalty points for free rooms at MGM Property hotels in Las Vegas. Each trip I stay at 2-3 hotels, for 1-2 nights each. You have to check out by 11 am to noon and can't check in until usually 3 pm to the next hotel. This isn't such a big problem in Vegas for me, but would be in Tijuana.
That leaves 3-4 hours each day of changing hotels and having a bag to lug around and no room to take a chica back to. I wouldn't really even want to lug my bag into a bar / club either. If I wanted to spend 1 night in Cascades, 1 night in Jalos and 1 night in Coahuilla that's 3-4 hours in the middle of the day I wouldn't be able to enjoy chicks.

Paying $30 to enter a foreign country anytime you want for the next 180 days, during a pandemic, does not make you a victim of theft. It is very reasonable if not cheap. The Mexican border agents aren't necessarily fuckheads just because they administer fees imposed by their government. I've never been allowed in before 2:00, and usually 3:00. Hotel Coahuila (Adelita Bar) is always great. They've let me in as early as 11:00, as long as they had a room available. Once they had no rooms in the back section, so they gave me a room up front, but then had no problem moving me later in the afternoon when a back room became available. For customer service, it's WAY better than Cascadas, even if the rooms aren't as nice.

To recap, I took a small sliver, about 1/8 of Ultra's 100 MG sildenafil pill Sunday about 4 PM.

The day pass charge of 20 bucks I was often asked for this summer likely goes to the employee as I was not given any paperwork or even showed my license or anything. Also, I bet people crossing at el paso into Juarez aren't charged this fee. From everything I can tell, Mexico assumes men are going to pay for sex. Its probably mostly a Tijuana thing. G. , will be in the state for less than 24 hours en route to somewhere else). So even if there was a mandatory quarantine you should be good if you're just passing through CA to get to Mexico. In theory, you'll need an "essential" excuse (e. G. , dental or medical appointment) to get into Tijuana though even that tends not to be a problem. At worst the customs officials might make you pay a $30 fee for the FMM visa to enter the country.

Its very very bad, hospitals full, to start going into the clubs now, one should assume they will get covid. In the summer, and even early November, covid was a issue but its full on blown up over here. Even avoiding the clubs I don't feel comfortable living here but am stick here right now as I don't want to fly.

I am driving to Mexico tomorrow and I am also prepared if something goes wrong. I will be glad when things get back to normal, but we are honestly looking are May-June, probably a little longer in Mexico.

Prolly used my free drink 50 out of the 90 days. Back then, when you got a drink at 11 pm, you were able to get another one at 12 am. Not sure how that works now.
Since March of 2020, I've prolly only gone to the zona no more than 10 times, and I would avoid the clubs and utilize the streets lady's since some HK girls went to the streets.

There is a lot of advice out there for finding and keeping a sugar baby. I'd stay away from a pro, for sure. So even if there was a mandatory quarantine you should be good if you're just passing through CA to get to Mexico. In theory, you'll need an "essential" excuse (e. G. , dental or medical appointment) to get into Tijuana though even that tends not to be a problem. At worst the customs officials might make you pay a $30 fee for the FMM visa to enter the country.You do not need any excuses. You just need to pay the money for the visa. If not you will not enter.

I need to make it back to Tijuana after the pandemic. Travel to Thailand isn't exactly practical at this time. But when it does reopen I prefer to spend my money there.

Had friends with me on the way back that didn't have SENTRI so had to wait four hours in the car line on the way back. Saturday night. Brutal.
Bar girls are the worst option IMO. I get the infatuation over a trophy lay. But paying more for less time and questionable service is terrible value. 30 minutes is basically 25. Not enough time to really enjoy yourself.

I've often stayed at the Hampton Centro Historico in CDMX and they were downright cool about the 2-3 chicas per day I had come visit me. Even after she departs my room and gets her ID from the front to leave, the front desk would call me to ensure I was okay. I've often stayed at Ticuan and have never experienced Wi-Fi issues.

Seems very safe to me. If you already have SENTRI then adding a vehicle won't take long at all. A couple weeks if I remember correctly.

This is one the main reasons why I avoid driving to Tijuana. 1 hour is about the longest I have had to wait crossing the border in 4-5 years now. These days there is almost no line or a 20 minute wait on most days. I usually walk down and take the taxi van back. This way I don't have to pay for parking and worry about being hassled by the cops. This also means that I don't have to insurance as well. In the end walking across the border is really the better choice.

That border line on foot returning is my biggest pet peeve in life right now. It significantly cut into my budget as I can't sleep in Tijuana any more, can't pursue many tinder opportunities in Tijuana. Its important to make clear, how bad that line is now. Last week a Mexican guy on line next to me with papers to work in USA missed his flight. We were on line 4 hours. I told him from the get go expect 3 to 3 half hours. He was not allowed to use that bus to cut the line since thata only for Americans or at least not Mexicans. Since its supposed to be for medical tourism. Anyway the line goes very bad by 6 am. Before 6 am its probably 90 minutes. By 730 its generally 3 to 4 hours till 6 pm at which point it decreases. From around 8 pm to 330 am is the window to go and have no line or hour and less. The issue is the line cutting. Between the medical pass bus, and people who walk to the front on the disabled line. If you look over 55 you can just walk on that line and get through in 25 minutes as there's nobody in charge. If you have a cane at home bring it. What you will see is hundreds of 40,50 year olds with canes running to the front of the line while you are standing inside for 4 hours.

I don't think the problem is ficha drinks, I think the problem is your approach. Nothing personal, it's your money, do what you want. But interviewing 5 - 10 girls before each selection? That seems way beyond picky and bordering on OCD. My advice is to become more fluent in Spanish and you can get a feel for the girl's personality way more quickly.

I mailed my passport in for renewal back in October and am still waiting for it with a trip planned for mid-February. Given the currently stated 10-12 week processing time for passports, I think it's very likely I get my renewed passport back in time for the trip but would like to have a strategy for getting across the border in case I don't, as I'd rather not reschedule the trip. Is it likely I can still get across (and back into the USA Without too much issue) with just a drivers license and birth certificate? I assume they'd also look to have me pay the $20-$30 "fee" to cross the border but I'm good with that. Could I consider crossing at Otay Mesa? I've never crossed there before but have heard they more times than not don't even check ID at that border crossing? But in general I'm mainly wondering if not having a passport in-hand will be an issue for crossing by foot into Tijuana. I've actually crossed into Tijuana with an EXPIRED passport the past two times I went to Tijuana (both in 2020), though I was pulled into the back room and forced to pay the bribe both of those times. But if the State Department doesn't mail my renewed passport back within the next 4 weeks I won't have any sort of passport in hand.
If you have a copy of your renewal application then take it with you. The state dept site may show if your application is being processed. If so print it out and take it with you. If not take your old passport and tell the Mexican immigration that you have a dental appt. They will probably making you buy a FNN / Visa. Take your old Visa form. They will probably accept if it is not to old In the end you should probably have any problems.

Best you can hope for is they wave you in at 20 dollars. That's what happened with me. But its 1 time entrance and no paperwork.

Every other time I've gone through with a non-expired passport, I've gotten the 7-day pass with no issues. So am suspecting there's an issue internally with giving someone with an expired (or perhaps missing) passport that FMM 7-day pass. So they just had me pay the "fee" (bribe) I guess not for the 7-day pass, but to enter the country (presumably undocumented and off the record). I actually straight up asked them for the 7-day pass both times I went last year and they told me don't worry about the pass. That I should just go and that I was good in the country for 7 days without it. After they collect the "fee", the customs official takes a picture of you as part of the process but I suspect that's a ruse to make the bribery look like it's part of an official process. The other suspicious thing about the process is they only take cash, no credit. I understand credit is much less common in Mexico but you'd think for a federal-level process such as that, credit would be an accepted payment option (if the fee was indeed on the up-and-up).
I do see instances in other forums of people even flying in to Mexico with just proof of passport application (in lieu of a valid passport) so I'll look to try that, thanks. Though part of me wonders if I should just try the Otay Mesa entry in hopes of avoiding this hassle. But I do expect to receive my renewed passport by late January / early February so hopefully I won't have to resort to any of this other stuff.Name for me another country that will let visitors in on an expired passport. Came down Friday afternoon and the immigration guy took me into the office. Nothing was going on outside at the usual desks where you report. There was another guy already sitting down at the desk. I do not know what the deal is with those guys. But he was the usual "stray" for the lack of a better word. It seems he was with the bullshit because the immigration officer said look I told you before bla bla bla. Then he said you know what before ushering him into an adjacent office and leaving him inside closing the door. He told another officer that he put the guy in there.
Then he told me to come take a seat at the desk. He asked what I was going to Mexico for. I told him to get a haircut. He said that it was only open to Mexican citizens and residents at the time but I could purchase a 6 month visa for $30 and be allowed in. I moaned about it and said paying an extra $30 defeats the purpose of going to get my usual $6 haircut. He said that he didn't make the rules around there. I told him that I would not enter. He took my passport card and said hold on. He left out and came back and told me to follow him.
I changed my mind and decided to enter the country. I had just exchanged $80 before crossing over. I told him I only had pesos. He said 600 pesos then. I did not want to use up my pesos so he told me about the ATM right outside the door. I went to withdraw money. It had various amounts as options for withdrawal, the least being $200. I decided to take that.
It also had a $7.95 fee. No problem because I have Schwab and they will give it back. But I was in hurry mode so I was just clicking yes yes yes. Then a screen popped up and I did not realize what it said until I clicked yes and it was too late. It asked if I agreed with a whatever percent commission. I tried clicking cancel and everything else 100 times but it was already too late. The machine shot the card out and started counting the money. I ended up paying $23.85 to use that damn ATM. Not sure if I will get the commission fee refunded from Schwab. Bastards!
I paid the $30 and he gave wrote 180 days on the visa and gave it to me. I entered the country and walked down to where the taxis were. I was about to do my usual walk but stopped and asked the guy how much to the zone. He said 100 pesos. I said fuck that, I usually pay 50 pesos. Then he said 80 pesos and I said okay. He called some taxi from across the street and down to come over. He explained to me that the taxis over there were cheaper than the ones at the curb. He told me to just walk over there next time. There was no difference in the taxis. The were all the same company.
On the was way I stopped in at the duty free. Recently I went to my local liquor store and wrote the prices of the stuff I usually purchase into my phone so I can begin comparing prices in duty frees and shops around the world. The prices at this store were excellent. Crown was half price, Jack was $11 less, Chivas was $21 less. I bought a bottle of Gentleman Jack for $12 less than my local store. In 30 years that was my first time stopping into that store. There were only about 10 people crossing back into the States at the time and they were not even scanning bags.

While I don't like the concept of paying a bribe I definitely agree that paying $20 to enter a country when you have an expired / missing passport (so by federal law not allowed to enter the country) is an excellent deal LOL. I will point out again though that I did not receive an FMM the two times I paid the bribe to get into Mexico on an expired passport (despite asking for one) - they told me not to worry about the FMM and that I was good for 7 days. But in my mind yes, it's still a great deal considering I wasn't legally allowed to enter the country in the first place. Most ATMs in tourist areas will charge you high fees out of debit cards and an extra $10 fee for credit cards. ATMs in Tijuana have been known to steal codes and sell them to criminals. The ATMs around the bar block have stolen codes from me and my wingmen a few times. You should lock your Schwab card for the next few months, unlock it only for a day or two when you need to use it.
The ATMs in hotel Cascada are safe. I have used them a few times recently and have not had problems. They cost only 95 pesos in fee, refundable by Schwab. The one in the South lobby dispenses dollars, the North lobby pesos. ATMs in Hong Kong are also safe when it reopens. Looks like crooks cannot install skimming devices in machines with hotel and bar workers around.
Liquor prices in Mexican duty-free stores are as high as retail prices in the US, not very good. US Duty-free stores in San Ysidro like UETA have killers' prices, 12-year Chivas Regal 1 L like $25 IIRC. They also sell Tequila at lower prices than stores in Tijuana. Don Julio 70 for $30. My favorite is Jose Cuervo Especiale 750 ML for $9. 50. It's a 80 proof tequila with nice, clean taste, good fragrance with lots of spicy aromas, the slightly sweet taste stick to your mouth like fine liquors that cost a lot more. Some nights I drank 5 shots on ice, got nice buzz and never had head ache or hang over next day. Jose Cuervo has on its label as the brand with the most awards in all Tequilas, a very fine liquor and very good value. I was pleasantly surprised.
You should stop in the duty-free stores in San Ysidro and buy bottles to party with your sweeties, a lot cheaper. Don't know how many bottles Mexican Immigracion allows you to bring in if you walk over. They will likely hassle you for some bribe like anything else.

I crossed on foot this afternoon without problems or even a question why I was visiting. There was a short line going into Mexico. After I got my 7 day FMM, I decided I just want to get the 180 days because who knows what will happen in the coming weeks. $30, in and out in 30 seconds. A lot of traffic, a lot of people here today. I'm sure the "bars" will be packed.

Before my trip I went online and filled out an FMM and printed it out. I walked up to the border at PedEast and there was no one in either line, Nationals or Foreigners. As I walked in through the Foreigners line, a guy came out of the back office and waved me forward. I handed him my passport and the FMM. He stamped my passport, tore off the "Entrada" side of the FMM and handed me the "Salida" side. Then he waved me through. No questions, no payment.
I was ready to pay the $30. It pays to be prepared.

It had been almost a year since my last trip to Tijuana, when I was in the habit of going every three months. I had COVID over Christmas and am now fully recovered with antibodies, so I decided it was worth the trip. Booked my flight on Southwest with frequent flier miles and was off.
Saturday (1/9/21).
I landed in San Diego around 1:00. Took the 992 bus to Broadway and hit up the CVS for some supplies. I grabbed the trolley and was at the border by 2:00. I had the online FMM filled out and printed. I was ready to be charged $30 but as I walked up to the checkpoint there was no one there, either on the nationals or the foreigners side. I walked past the front booths and someone came out from a back room and waved me over to the far booths. He looked at my passport, stamped my FMM and waved me past. Not even a question. Quick temperature check by a woman in scrubs and I was in Mexico. I passed all of the cabs and just walked the few blocks to Pueblo Amigo.
Checked in with no hassles. There was another temperature check at the front door -- something I'the have to get used to. Literally every establishment had an automated temperature reader at the front door. Once inside I checked in with no issues at all.
In my room I messaged a Mileroticos girl who was recommended by a poster on another forum. She agreed to come over at 6:00 for an hour. She was on time and arrived at my door without any hassle from the front desk. Great intro session with full GFE, DFK, BBBJ for 1800 p. Popped over to Jalos (Chicago Club) and they had everything set up just in a hallway -- there were some side rooms, but most of it was just out in the hall. Sat and had a drink with one woman and it was actually a decent conversation, but she didn't make a move to tease or touch, and after the drink was done we both knew that I wasn't going any further so I left.
Final stop was The Club at Hotel Coahuila (Adelita Bar). This was more like it. A single big room, laid out very much like a real strip club. Bar along one wall. Stage with stripper pole in the center of the room. Couches arrayed around the edges of the room. MUCH better. It was packed, but I managed to snag a seat at the bar. Tons of women, maybe twice the number of men. Had a great time buying fichas for Betsy, but my body time was two hours later than Tijuana time, so around 11:00 I made my excuses. She asked me if I would come see her the next day, when she got on shift at 5:00. I asked about The Club and she thought it would be closed and she would be in the speakeasy area (which was empty at this time). But she checked with a bartender and he said The Club would be open. I promised to see her again, and grabbed a cab to the hotel.
Sunday (1/10).
I woke up early (damned time zones) and decided to grab an Uber to the beach for lunch. Stopped at one of my favorite taco stands (same one that had the new location by my hotel: Xolotacos). It was delicious, but without a seating area I had to eat my tacos sitting on a railing by the nearby gas station. Not very conducive to enjoying a meal. I always get tacos de birria con tuetano (birria with bone marrow). They used to serve each taco with an actual marrow bone alongside, but they didn't do that this time. It would have been hard to eat so I wasn't super disappointed.
Walked down to the beach, which was totally roped off. No access at all. It seems weird that stores were open and people could walk in and shop, but they weren't allowed to be out on a wide open beach (in the middle of winter). A bunch of people were past the police ropes taking pictures of the murals and statues at the Peace Park, until a patrol car showed up and chased them all away. It was all very sad, and I didn't feel like sticking around. Usually I'd get some oysters, maybe a coconut, and enjoy the beach air. Disappointing, and very glad I didn't stay at Hotel Jatay like I had planned.
Ubered to the zona for a loop around the block. Saw Jennifer and almost pulled the trigger but decided to keep walking. Man, the masks really do these girls a favor. So many of them looked really tempting! In the end I returned but Jennifer had been snagged. Right near her in front of Ibiza was a short cutie with big chunky glasses and honest to god stockings (garter belt and everything -- must be a ***** to keep looking nice). I woke up early (damned time zones) and decided to grab an Uber to the beach for lunch. Stopped at one of my favorite taco stands (same one that had the new location by my hotel: Xolotacos). Those not carrying a passport should be given a hard time going and coming from Mexico. Deny entry to Mexico if the don't have a passport. Automatic secondary if they somehow went to Mexico. Mexico has to understand the US is not sending their best people if they don't have a passport.

TAMPA — Hillsborough deputies have arrested more than 70 people in a monthlong undercover prostitution sting, Sheriff Chad Chronister announced Monday.
In "Operation Interception," which ran from Dec. 7 to Jan. 9, undercover detectives posted online ads and female detectives posed as prostitutes on the street, resulting the arrest of 71 men who agreed to pay for sex, Chronister said at a news conference. The men face charges of soliciting another to commit prostitution or entering / remaining in a place for prostitution.
Chronister said the goal of the operations and others like it is to reduce the demand for prostitution as a tactic to fight human trafficking, especially in the coming weeks ahead of Super Bowl 55. Officials say they expect an influx of human traffickers into the area to try to capitalize on the crowds in town for the game set for Feb. 7.
"Our goal is to intercept those involved in sexual exploitation before they're able to take advantage of the vulnerable individuals in our community and ultimately, hopefully, deter others," Chronister said, noting Monday is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
He added later: "We know from past experience with major sporting events there will be some who travel for the exclusive purpose of taking advantage of women and children. ".
The men arrested range in age from 20 to 62. Among them was Ronnie Johnson III, a Hillsborough County firefighter assigned to Station 7 in Brandon, according to the Sheriff's Office. Johnson was arrested on Dec. 7, the first day of the operation, on a charge of soliciting another to commit prostitution and was released from the county jail later the same day after posting $500, records show.
Johnson was hired as a Hillsborough County firefighter on July 13. He submitted his resignation from his position as a firefighter following his arrest, and is no longer employed with Hillsborough County.
Chronister said the demand for prostitutes remains high in Tampa, which he said is an incentive for human traffickers to exploit people into sex work.
"It all comes back to the demand, it all comes back to the demand and that's why our operations are focused on eradicating the demand," he said.
Eight people were arrested on human trafficking charges in Hillsborough County last year and six in 2019, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Chronister said there are signs the stings are having an impact. As evidence, the Sheriff's Office released a screengrab of a message exchange between an undercover detective and a would-be john who decided not to meet.
"Trying to stay away from getting stung. And winding up on a poster while sheriff cronester sic explains to the media LOL," the man wrote in the message.
Along with enforcement operations, Chronister said, officials are also working on a prevention campaign.

A person experienced in responding to these ads will know. If you have spoken to prostitutes for many years you can tell when you are talking to a pretend pro.
I used to pick up street walkers decades ago; it is more tricky to detect these as you need to talk to them first and they will nab you even if you don't talk money. My advice would be to surreptitiously record the conversation as when you realize from the conversation that she is not a pro and attempt to walk away before soliciting her you will be arrested. Use the recording in your defense.

OK, first rule. It's YOUR money. YOU are the customer and you'll need to make sure things run YOUR way. HK is, first and foremost, a Mexican clip joint. They exist to separate you from your money as quickly as possible.
Notice the seating. If you walk into a club, and most seats are occupied by girls loafing around, what does your mesero do? He chases them away and seats YOU, the customer. See, you're spending money, and the girls aren't. (I'm leading up to my point. Bear with me) If you choose to just sit and stare, as long as you're drinking, you can do so for as long as you like. Even though I voice some complaints at times, the collection of clubs in Zona Norte is far better than anywhere in the USA. Further the basic going rate for a sexual session is $80 or slightly less if you pay in pesos for half an hour to a full hour if you have your own room. Guys should really book rooms for the night.
The street girls are much less which has been covered on here a lot.
The clubs also do operate in some ways like USA clip joints. Lots of pressure to spend money fast, drink a lot of alcohol, short you on time if your not using your own room for the night.

Last time in July 2020, clubs closed at 9 pm (on paper) and afterparties (on speakeasy basis) moved to hallways of attached hotels. Reading several places in Mexico are closing as early as 8 pm, or closed period all day Sunday. (eateries, retail stores)
Would be flying in from either Mexico City or Monterrey but nothing set in concrete yet.

I ran into a new ficha fucker scam just this week at HK. This chica (Goes by the club name of Yoko, local Tijuana phone number, nice T&A, speaks flawless English if that helps any) popped onto my lap and was giving me far more attention than a dollar normally buys. Two minutes later, a masero shows up with a ficha drink. She said, "Pay him, papi. " I said, "I didn't order a drink. " She continued to grind and insist that I had ordered her a drink as the masero stood there with that stupid look that the maseros stand there with when they're trying to sell you something. She kept it up and I had enough. I said, "You ordered it, you pay for it. " Finally she got the message that I wasn't going to be bullied and both of them slinked away with their tails between their legs. I kept my seat.
Way back I used to ride the trolley occasionally with a beta bud of mine. This dude was so afraid of confrontation that he actually offered to pay some punk to shut of his boombox playing crap music. I gave him a "Come on man" and told the "entertainer", "You want to shut that shit off!" My beta bud watched slack-jawed as the punk not only shut the thing off but moved to the other end of the trolley car. Just got to say No, Nancy.
While I'm on the subject of scams, there are one or more pickpockets loose in HK. I've been picked 2 or 3 times lately (just titty money in my back pocket as I would NEVER carry a billfold into a zona bar, but money nonetheless). If I find out whose doing this, somebody is going to have a broken wrist and you'll read about it, I'm sure. Just sayin'.

Would just ignore it. In practice it's not really being enforced. (I've been across the border from the USA Twice since the nonessential travel ban was imposed and Mexican customs officials let me through despite my passport being expired both times.) To be safe, you should claim an essential reason for crossing the border in case they ask, like going to the dentist.

1. my bank doesn't do exchange currency where is the best place to exchange dollars into pesos near San Diego or the border.
2. cheapest Pharmacy and doctor when crossing into Tijuana.
I finally caved in and coughed up the bucks for global entry which is same as sentri. More or less anyway. Difference is sentru can take year for appointments global entry you can have start to finish in 3 weeks. I did it online, got temporary approved in 8 hours, got interview next morning. You have to look around different states for interview openings, and check night before as people cancel the day before. The office is a very fast, paced, full of people getting g that global entry. Sucks to pay to not stand in line 4 hours but unless you are cool with lines its worth doing.

I use the two exchanges at the San Ysidro mall because it is convenient, safe, and the lines are reasonable. There is probably 100 pharmacies in Tijuana so prices are comparable due to the heavy competition. Re doctors, I understand there are two types. Doctors serving the public. And Doctors serving tourists. The doctors serving the public is cheaper, but the lines are longer. Anyways, there is a huge tourism hospital right over the border as you cross if you want better care and short on time from private doctors.

Just use the most convenient one on the US side when buying pesos, and the most convenient one on the Mexican side when buying dollars.

I was disputing the assertion that saying "No, gracias" will brand me as a gringo (as if they couldn't tell already) and that they would continue to pester me because of it. I say "No, gracias" all the time and they leave me alone after. Maybe because I say "No. Gracias" or maybe it's my tone, but I don't have any issues being pestered by meseros if I firmly say "No" when they try to pull shit on me.
Really not much of a problem. Say you are visiting a friend, looking for a dentist, buying medicine. Most likely worse case senario you get an agent who makes you buy the FMM for around $30. Not such a bad thing to have, then you can walk into Mexico for the next 6 months, no lines and no questions asked.And how does one cross back into the US on foot? It is a tough job and I empathize with her struggle.
On the other hand, the meseros are dickheads. Many are borderline convicts. So you do have to say "no" to ensure that you are the boss. Personally I have been known to use a universal sign language when a waiter tries a scam. I give them the bird.

Yes, my advice was for use with all the vendors that harass you. You could use it in the club. For example with the snack guy that comes around. But the Spanish equivalent of GTFO is more appropriate when the try to charge you for something you didn't order.

Went to hotel Korea to drink, got ganged up on by staff. Felt like the day I got choked out on street. The problem was I bought a beer for a heavy waitress who asked me to. The thing is I was just there to drink, hang out, look at my phone didn't want working girl. So $8 drink for this girl, set off the radar for the 25 female and male waiters who thought, wow, this guy has money for her, he will defiantly buy drink for everyone in here. 1st, the male waiter wouldn't leave us alone, he literally was picking up our drinks every 45 seconds to see if they were empty and standing next to us not walking away. He saw me getting pissed and waiving him away so tried to play the friendly guy shake my hand. I don't shake hands. He wouldn't leave I told the girl I didn't want another drink with her, he bought drinks over anyway. Once they realized I won't pay all the waiters bought a girl over every 7 seconds until one female waiter sat next to me tobask me why they are bringing woman over every 6 seconds. I explained cause I bought the female waiter a drink. So I get up to leave they throw more beers on my table and start more begging me to stay surrounded by 3 men. I didbt know what was gona happen. This is supposed to be a hk club but staff is not trained. ID been going every week for 3 months never again. As soon as I walked out at the corner cops jumped from van told me to get in. The. Let me stay in street. They were obsessed to find drugs. Had 5 minute argument with them over viagra pills of different shapes he didn't recognize. He even handed me 1 dollar he took from back pocket. Anyway walked into Gloria bar upstairs mad packed with Mexican men but that place is 3 x worse for covid than hk. Walked into the bar, above playboy club, that place was actually good. A number of attractive woman in it. No pressure to buy drinks for them tipped a dancer. I'd defiantly go back to that place.

Some will even go to the zona. On the other hand, some will only go to a love motel like La Mansion. But in general, most will go to any decent hotel or motel.
And it depends on how close is "close". Do you want to be able to walk to the zona? Hotels like Ticuan (http://www.hotelticuan.mx/) ($80-$100) and Caesars (http://www.hotelcaesars.com.mx/) ($50-$80) are about a 10 minute walk through well-lit touristy areas. Generally safe to walk almost any time -- or a $2 uber will get you there in 5 minutes. Villa de Zaragoza (http://hotelvillatij.com/) ($60-100) is a bit off Revo, but still not far -- it is more like a motel, so girls can go straight to your room without checking in at the front desk. All are available on the hotel booking sites, but may be cheaper to book directly.
And if a 10-minute uber ride is acceptable, there are dozens of decent hotels all around Tijuana. This list from an agency is a good overview of the kinds of places a decent girl will go:

He touches my drink and automatically, I tell him I want a new waiter.
I also always keep the vitamins in their original packaging, because I know that it is nearly impossible to tell the different between these and contraband. Original packaging have identification names on them, so there are no confusion to as what they are.

Shit. Think I was a Cheap Charlie before. I went down with Cool yesterday and he fucked around and showed me how to take the bus each way between the border and the zona for 10 pesos. I do not think I will ever walk or take a taxi on that route again. You catch them the same place and they take the same amount of time.

I thought I saw a YouTube video where someone mentioned taking a "public" bus into Zona Norte for $1, so it might just be 10 pesos rounded up to a dollar.
How often do the busses come around and where specifically do they drop off & pick up in the zona?
Shit. Think I was a Cheap Charlie before. I went down with Cool yesterday and he fucked around and showed me how to take the bus each way between the border and the zona for 10 pesos. I do not think I will ever walk or take a taxi on that route again. You catch them the same place and they take the same amount of time.I always use that bus except going home in the dark. It puts me in the Mexican state of mind, and you can take another one all the way to playas for like a dollar and see all the side streets. The taxis are beyond horrible if your gringo because you got to deal with turning down their gringo prices and only time I isedbit besides to hk, the taxi made me get out a mile from destination because I wouldn't pay the extra fee as we got closer. So I don't bother with them ever.
