I have just returned from MDE this week.
IMO, the street girls in Tijuana are better looking than most of the ladies in Mayorista, and about the same cost. Overall, the women in MDE are better looking, but Tijuana still has plenty of VGL women.
The sessions, for me, in MDE are also much better. Even on the high end you can party, drink, and spend hours with a very hot lady for 150, 000 COP (approx. $78. 00 USD) at the Mansion. Also, a CBJ is very rare, and if one chooses bare back sessions are not that hard to find. If one wants a quickie the casa's are much cheaper.
Not that anyone particularly cares, but I like the food better in Mexico, although in MDE food can be delivered to you door, even something as simple as Burger King.

I made a quick run to the Zona on Monday. I told one of my favs that I was off and might make a quick run. She was a no show! It was a disaster. It was Crazy cold 40Fand about 30mph wind. The poor chicas (what hardy ones there were) were freezing. In Doorways or hotel walkways. Very aggressive to fuck / get out of cold. I'm sure I could of gotten a good deal $ if I was in the mood. Is Tijuana is a better mongering place compared to Medellin and Rio de Janeiro?If everything else was equal, I'd go with Medellin over Tijuana every time. I find the paisas of Colombia to be the most attractive women in the world. The girls in mayorista are as good or better than the paraditas of Tijuana, and quite a bit cheaper in my experience (especially once you take into account the upsell for multiple positions and sin ropa). Medellin has the casas and bars and the escorts are the best looking and sweetest ever. There are only two problems for me with Medellin: 1) The greater travel costs and time to get to Medellin, and 2) explaining why I am going to Colombia for vacation (San Diego is easy).
Rio has the same problem. The travel costs outweigh the better experience.

Had to visit the dentist again. So decided to visit the Zona. I found this one SG named Karina that hangs out by the east end of the alley across from where the laundromat used to be. Karina has short auburn hair with high cheek bones. Karina has been around the alley for at least 3-4 years now. The cultural difference between MEX and CO makes a big difference in the service provided. Diet makes what one looks like, CO's eat smaller portion food size and walk and communicate a lot. Yes on the general MDE's they look better than the norm of Tijuana.
Tijuana's are medical certified providers which is not the case in La Mayorista. La Majorista in general are older providers with risky sexual practice which is not the case in Tijuana.
CO Bogata taxis can lead to death as was the case in Parque de le 93 of US Embassy employee which would be rare in Tijuana for tourist or Tijuana US Consulate employee.
MDE has a fast realtive safe rail service to La Mayorista during the day. Highly guarded by local police at all stations. Taxi do overcharge by taking a longer routes.
Flight distance and dealing with airline delayed flights, cost and changes could make Tijuana convinent but not have the ambeins of MDE. Visit the Parque Expo is not the same as the Tijuana cultural canter. La Mayorista is the lower option with others available on the MDE Menu. Tijuana Zona Norta may be comparable in some ways to La Mayorista in cost (20, 000 CO pesos / 10 USD / 100 MEXpesos) for 15 mins versus 30 mins. La Mayorista is on 30 mins program.
May be we all should be requesting the "MDE La Mayorista Package" from the Tijuana providers over this holiday season and coming 2014.
Tijuana Norte could be the official sister city of MDE!

After reading about GSR's incident with the policia, I decided to finally join up and say hello. I have browsed these forums for about 2 years, and researched as much as I could about the Zona on YouTube, Google searches, and even using the Google maps "Street View" to familiarize myself. With the help of member's posts here, I knew what to ask for in negotiating, and the going prices. I felt confident enough to go alone for the first time last June and negotiated with paraditas without any hassle. I went again the second and third time in November, and once in December before Christmas. I'd like to personally thank members (Screen name might be spelled wrong) TomJackin, Hargow20, Pherphan, and GolfSexRoll for their informative posts.
Background: I have about a four hour drive one-way to the border, and must be back home before a certain time. So my fun in the Zona is limited to about and hour & a half to 2-hours max before heading to the border line. I can only come on the weekends. I have not been there recently however, I think my observations will mostly hold true.
I have been to Tijuana about half a dozen times. IMO it is the worst border town and the one you are most likely to get robbed, extorted or cheated.
I *never* give money in advance to any SW. To do so just sets you up as a mark and she can do anything she wants after she gets the cash. I have a technique I might share later on proper method of price negotitation. For now I just say never pay in advance.

At first glance it seems like the streets were extremely dead last night. The thing that worried me the most were the empty store fronts under construction and the new taco joint next to OxxO in the alley. It is a huge eyesore IMO.

Listen man, I live with a lady who's daughter is attending PREPA schooling. This is after secondary education, I can tell you, as a proven, seen by me fact, that PREPA math is junior high level, or lesser than that, in the USA. Pathetic, no wonder they can't get anywhere. Personally I have not seen any increase in crime lately. There is lots of cops in the Zona now so things are much safer. But it's always a good idea to use caution. I always try and look to see who is behind me in Tijuana. I also avoid Tijuana at night.

Wow. What a sad state the st. Scene is in. I have been waiting for a decent experience to post about but the last 3 times have been awful. Nov. Was average. Not many new talent same ladies as usual. Of course all out for upcoming Christmas. Was back early March

That is without mentioning that when all is said and done the cost will easily exceed $ 1000.00.So this again raises the question of what Statman is trying to do here, what is his real motive behind this, and is he trying to pimp off this girl. ? These questions will not be answered and settled until Statman posts a picture of this girl standing in front of the White House or the Statue of Liberty, etc. (no photoshop crap of course) I would like to see some solid evidence. Apparently when Statman said "engagement visa" and " right away", he did not know what he was talking about.
Does anyone know if Katrina or Carina however its spelled is back from her vacation back home? I was there last month and one of her friends told me she was on vacation.
