I was done for my once every three to four months trip to Tijuana. I have been to Tijuana a number of times over many years, but finally found my way to the famous (infamous?) alley for the first time. Goodness gracious, any guy that can't get laid cheaply just isn't trying. I was there on a weekday afternoon. There must have been at least 3 dozen girls in the alley and more on surrounding streets. For $20 and $30, I got it all in various positions. Don't ask for names- I can barely remember my own. I will say one was on the corner, about 4-3 and slightly overweight. The other had the same build, but was 5-5. They both had hooters that buried my face. All in all, I was satisfied. The most difficult part was choice. I must have walked around the block three times before deciding and I didn't even go in any of the bars.

Just one year ago, almost to the day (Thanksgiving), sin ropa was 200 pesos, plus hotel. In less than one year, it has doubled?
480 pesos, (plus minimum 20 pesos tip), equals 500 pesos = USD $30 for ten-fifteen minutes of average-quality fun!
(Not including the cost of travel and food, plus the time-value of having to spend several hours traveling to and fromTJ).

A couple of things for you to consider Ddufail: There is no universal price for street girls. If you are not making offers, but instead doing the rookie thing of asking "How much?" you will get different quotes from different street girls. They will try to size you up, often based on how you are dressed. And many of the Street Girls don't want to go arriba with stumbling drunks, so they ask for far more money from drunks that approach them.

It's unusual that the most attractive street girls all quote firm 400 pesos plus 80 for the room, take it or leave it.
That means they came to an agreement how much they should charge for services. However, it's hard to understand why some girls agree to lower rates with some guys, but are firm with others. So the market is still free, the girls are doing business on their own, not controlled and enforced by organized crime syndicates.
I am talking only about the most popular girls in the alley. If you are willing to scrape the bottom of the alley barrel, you can find girls who do the dirty deeds for very little dinero.

Exactly why I was in so much panic. Luckily for me nobody at work questioned my whereabouts or even traced its location. They remotely flashed the phone so all data is erased next time it is turned on. If you know me you will find that I have no reason to inflate my standing. I was so tired I did not post a full story about the cops. Still I won't because it won't add to the body of knowledge here.
But suffice to say that the cops set up an elaborate scam to 'help' me. They said they had the said woman in custody on a drug charge and 'may' have the phone on her. So I would need to bail her out for $50 to secure her release and hence my phone. I refused to pay the money up front to them. I said I will call a local attorney to help me out (as I said I have local business in Tijuana). They wasted my time and I made multiple trips to the police station between midnight and 7 am. Spent 4 hours talking and negotiating with cops. I spent $10-20 on bribes but turns out the cops were scamming me (just as I had gathered).
In the AM I tracked the phone down to Jessica and her druggie boyfriend who actually presented the phone to me in exchange for $25 or so. I gave him $25 but he did not give me the phone. Yes I got scammed. But at least I was able to verify that the phone was with him. A phone in the hand of a druggie is useless as he is not a sophisticated hacker. At least I knew nobody had tried to access the data I mentioned. The charger is USB C type so he did not even know how to charge it LOL.
Once I knew that the phone I had not been compromised I felt safe calling the office (they would not scold me for having allowed a hacker to have it). So I called up the office and they flashed the phone.

I am free to travel to Mexico over the weekend. So if my boss traces me it is 100% legal. The trouble comes explaining if it came into contact with a drug user or criminal.

Nah. The info is not that important. I am not 007 or anything like that. Standard stuff in the digital age where I have access to info that can be sensitive. Not to national security but information on people's personal info, etc. If info got into wrong hands, I would have definitely lost my job. And yes the feds would have investigated me to see if I was up to anything myself like selling the info for profit, etc. But as I said the info was not compromised.

I'm not going to slam anyone for their choices. We all have our own types and interests. But, I think, Cytek, you raise a good point. IMO, those on the fence about going to Tijuana should not judge it by the reports of US girls.
