How about the US? I live in northern CA and I had a hard time finding public bathroom in this pandemic. Even Safeway, a large food store chain, started restricting access to their store bathroom. They printed the code for the bathroom door on their receipts. Therefore I had to buy something if I wanted to use their bathroom. That store was located in a nice area.I don't know! I see YouTube videos with people living out of cars and shit and I wonder how they do it. Got to be public bathrooms somewhere. I know with the homeless situation all over California most businesses do not have public restrooms. It's tough to find a bathroom sometimes if you get caught out there. Moe.

Couple years ago a few hundred homeless people were camping on the bank of the Santa Ana river on the East side of Angels' stadium in Anaheim.
I was driving on freeway 5 South which was about 1/3 mile across the river. Westerly wind blew all that horrible stench of feces and urine to the car. It was extremely foul. They just crapped and peed on the river bank. Must be very bad living right next to all that odorous human waste. Yike!
I have a few homeless relatives in San Diego, living on the streets probably the last 15 years. They refuse to leave the street for any home or shelters as they can hang out with their street friends to deal and do drugs. One is schizophrenic, had a beautiful wife and 2 teenage kids living in Europe. The kids came to visit him, a bearded, filthy, scraggy old guy on the street, but they could not persuade him to give up the street life.

Adelitas and Chicago have pretty good restrooms along with upstairs at Tropical. I always leave a buck or 20 p when I do my thing. For those talkin about caliente restrooms, I hope you are not talking about the caliente in the alley. Fak that. All other calis have Indian casino clean bathrooms.
Cascadas bathrooms are the best IMO. I try to take all the street ladies here. $6 for a room with fresh towels, nice bathroom and decent bed. Ibiza on the other hand, not the worst, but the greediest. Who shuts off the water and gives you 1 paper towel. Before they had the showers off, the Ibiza girls would wipe the floor of the shower so they wouldn't charge me extra. I thought that was extra hot and sexy of ladies to do. The talent at Ibiza has provided the best options pre club openings. Maybe they have taken a stand to this bathroom option, maybe they just moved inside mqquerada. But I try to avoid Ibiza.

I have been going to the hotel CeCe for awhile now. The Hotel CeCe is now my favorite hotel in the Zona. The prices are fairly reasonable. I used to go the hotel just of Nino's Hero's and the alley. Hotel is only a bit more expensive and much nicer. In room 4 they have cushion sofa that is shaped wavy. I really like that it is great for getting a BJ.

I left it alone because I just wasn't sure exactly how much I had. It just ruined the mood for me for the rest of the night and went back to my hotel.

This is in response to the Memorial Day Fun post.
First $1,200 is generally too much to bring to Tijuana, I think my sweet spot is about $700 for a trip. If you do want to party at that level, at least half that money should be put into a hotel safe immediately after checking into a hotel room. Perhaps even better would be to have a travel safe or another good hiding device.
Did you attempt to count your money in public? Could someone have glimpsed into your wallet while paying for a drink?
Some people can eyeball a big amount of cash in a wallet within a 2 second glimpse.
I take some money out of my wallet and keep in my pocket to pay for drinks, so no one can possibly glimpse at the few hundred I might have in my wallet.

You did well not losing all or part of the $1,200 to policia. But carrying $1,200 cash may make you a target in La Zona. You may not only lose your money but you may also get stabbed by some addicts on the street.
Guys from out of town should carry enough cash for 1 night hotel ($80), 2 girls sessions ($200), 1 day fichas, food, drinks, tips ($200), total about $500. After that cash in dollars or pesos can be safely drawn from the ATMs in Cascada or Hong Kong.

You can pick any excuse including you are not well, etc. If you quickly get rid of them and give them 100 pesos it is ok.
Some girls demand I show them the money up-front even if I won't give it to them up-front. That's ok.

This is among my nightmare scenarios for Tijuana trips.The only way to avoid your cash missing is to grab it immediately in hand if you think cops are approaching you. Hard to do since you also want it buried deep enough to avoid a quick robbery attempt by rateros.

Went to Tijuana during memorial day weekend (started Fri night and left Mon morning). Overall, it was a good weekend and had some nice Chicas that I'll share later in a separate post. Told the officers I knew exactly how much money I had in my wallet (which I really didn't, just a estimate) and I said I would report them to the police station if they stole any. After they released me and recovered my belongings, I counted my money (I had around $1200 usd). I'm not sure, but if they did take anything, it wasn't more than around $50 usd. I left it alone because I just wasn't sure exactly how much I had. It just ruined the mood for me for the rest of the night and went back to my hotel.

This is among my nightmare scenarios for Tijuana trips.When stopped the very first thing you do is to take your money and put it into your hand. Cops do not need probable cause to stop you but they have no right to handle your money. They may search your wallet (why anybody carries a wallet in the ZN is beyond me) but you will have already pulled all of your cash out of it. BTW, they know all about hiding money in your sock and, if so inclined, they will make you take off your shoes and they will pat down your feet. This happened to me a few months ago.
Be polite but be firm. Don't offer a bribe, and if the cops start to discuss it will be up to you whether or not to cooperate. But do not start offering large sums. Do not agree to large sums (unless you really were committing a crime).
Don't carry large sums of money. Walking around with $1200 is just a death wish. Do not carry contraband. Do not give them an excuse to hassle you. Vape pens are an extremely grey area, so don't carry one. Don't carry an open container. Don't carry drugs. Don't get shitfaced and walk around. These are all common sense things that many people still ignore.
The key is to hold your wallet and cell phone in your hand when the police search. Often times the police will object and insist they need to search your wallet. After this incident I am going to buy a money belt for traveling.

Money belts must have money in it. So Polciia will be sure sure to search it and will try to steal from it.
Don't tell policia this, but the easiest and safest way is to wrap the chunk of bills into the bottom of your shirt, then tuck it into your pants and tighten the belt around it.
