I was at AB just a couple of weeks ago and there was a decent selection in my opinion. There was a better selection a year ago before this economic sunami hit us but you can still find a decent lady, if not go next door to HK. I must say I am increasingly impressed with the SG's, I don't know if the clubs are not treating the girls as good as they once did or what is going on but there are some fabulous gorgeous ladies on the street. If you take what you will spend in a club and spend an equal amount on the SG it would seem one would have twice the time, just be sure you make your deal before going to the room. I'm truly surprised by all the people saying great things about HK and expressing negativity toward AB. my last visit, the day of the fight, was all about AB.
We cruised to Jack did the standard $5 park and walk across. Turn styles to the taco/merch areas for some tacos ($20 for 15 delicious tacos!), then took a taxi to HK. Upon arriving it was like walking into a wonderland of sensory overload, beautiful naked chicas all over and cheap beer with the fight on every tv. My group and i got seats and had a few drinks, during which we got hit up by several so-so girls, a few ugly ones that were hard of hearing when we said "NO" and a couple hot ones that we let entertain us for a short time and were generously tipping, then up comes the waiter lol. I have been to the motel Deseo. The problem is I can't remember which street it is on. It may be 2nd or 3rd. It's roughly 4 - 5 blocks west of Revu. I have walked it fron Las Pulgas so, while a bit of a hike, it is doable.

i decided to go down and check out things for myself as curiosity and gatos go along hand in hand.
the taxi dropped me off in front of adelita which was closed, but they had some barkers telling people they could get through a yellow door that was between the hotel and the restaurant (or hotel and the church or something, still it was a badass genius thinking to keep the people that get dropped off at adelita from straying) which was actual the back fire exit for valentinas. so i walked back lockers and other stuff into the back of the bar. felt like that oft repeated scene in movies when people sneak into a place through the back rather than standing in line at the front door.
valentinas was packed with its girls + many adelita bar girls. since i'm never down there on tuesday night i couldn't tell what impact there was on business. every table was taken and there were tons of girls standing around and lots of customers. not only was i there on a tuesday, i was there pretty early (9:30 however when locking onto the telcel tower i went back in time to 8:30. note to telcel: fix your clock). when i've been in valentina before they'd play more norteño and other mexican music but they had the adelita set list tonight.

in the time i was walking around outside they may the command decision to not let people go through valentina's backdoor and instead had mongers go through hotel coahuila so you went up the stairs on ave coahuila to the right of reception then down the hall toward its callejón side entrance. then down stairs, outside and into valentinas. my amiga did not know this so i actually had to tell her when the guy at the back door of the club told her we couldn't pass. she was not pleased to have to do all that walking in her stripper heels. we both remarked how big the hotel was and there was that whole section that neither of us had been in before (we used the main reception, not the alley side reception. i don't know if that's always the case when you bring a girl up from the alley side or not).

The girls looked familiar to me because they're the same models that appear on the ads across the street from the bar in the space that may or may not be the future bar in the Adelita empire. Sorry you had to learn this lesson but you'll do better next time. I've not encountered Holanda. I'm terrible with names but I would have remembered using the corny lines I would feed her about the ice cream of the same name. Absolutely true. I never get bad treatment from the girls at Adelita. Many are real sweethearts. There's a few cold cabronas but even they will warm to you if treat them well and speak to them in their language and not grope them like they're on the stage at Hong Kong. I get a smile and a nonverbal 'howyoudoin?' from each of the girls I walk by. Some will tug at me like alley girls do for my attention and say their holas. HK pretty much only uses a few edecanes now for slower times to bump up the number of chicas and keep things lively. They have enough chicas who want to work the busier weekends they dont need em really and girls would rather show up without a sash and work the floor and balconies normally. HK and AB were both fairly busy Sat night, the doors are only maybe 60 yards apart so its easy to go between the 2 clubs or even Las Chavales in-between for more of a 'locals' type of experience. Adelita is a great option if you are in a hurry. I can walk in and be upstairs with someone sexy within literally 60 seconds if I choose. Or I can sit down and watch 30 women give me funny glances as if they are too shy to say anything for 3 hours.

Yes they are still closing the bar/serving alcohol at 3AM. However, they will still let you conduct your business past that time as long as you grab someone before 3AM. Things may have picked up since the article was written, as Tijuana seems a bit busier to me than it was in '08. But it's nowhere near the "good old days" prior to the passport requirements, when Revu jumped all night long and you couldn't sleep for the noise until about 4am.

I was forced to get a sentri card as I like to go down once or twice per week on average and live so close to the border I can see Tijuana from my place. 10 min. Drive down and 2 hour wait in line to return doesn't add up.
The new system should punish those without documents by only having 1 or 2 lines open (that will teach them to leave the country without a passport). Then the other lines should be open to those WITH passports or pass-cards. But. We are talking government agencies here.
A sentri pass is less than $2 per month when you factor it over 5 years.
From what I see CBP has set-up an ICE unit at the walking entrance and the car lanes heading into Tijuana from USA. Hired private guards to parole the walkway bridge and exit to USA. Many programs intoduced for Tijuana nationals to encourage legal crossing and shopping in USA. Few CPB booths to handle the overall flow. Drug war with fewer CPB booth staff. Rigid government agency which care less on the wait. Overloading the bus lanes for quick cross-over traffic does not help.
Actual American tourist traffic is way down this past year. All one has to do is walk down Ave Revolution to get a feel for this at peak time. Tijuana merchents still had the guts to increase prices by 20% on food items and some hotels, figure this one.

Matter of fact, I'm probably going again next week since I have lots of family down in San Diego. I'd been wanting to check out Adelita's sooo bad that I went by myself since my friends / co-workers pussed out on me. I was scared because people & the news talk about drugs / violence, but excited at the same time. The people I encountered during my trip were very nice & courteous and I felt safe the whole time I was out there. Being as cautious as I was, I talked with my cabby about which clubs to check out. He actually recommended some place called Purple Rain. But I had only heard of Chicago, Adelita's & Hong Kong. I decided to just try one place for the night and it ended up being Adelita's. I spent a good 3 hours total, ending the night with a big bang before the long drive back home. On my next visit, which club would you guys suggest going to next? I only want the best (9's / 10's) & I'm not comfortable with streetgirls.

There had been several news reports that week of violence in Tijuana. I was a bit apprehensive but that's a good thing I guess. As I crossed over to the Cab Stand there were several dodgy characters milling about. I just pushed on.
The cab ride was crazy as usual. Tijuana kinda reminds me of Central Baghdad without all the constant calls to prayer over loudspeakers. The road conditions, and general filth as well as some of the architecture are kindred spirits.
Adelita Bar was packed. Mostly Mexican people enjoying themselves. A few Gringos. There was a nice selection of prime trim in the jernt. I decided to have a few drinks and take in the scenery at the bar near the entrance. I tipped the bartenders well with each beer. They never let my bottle get empty before a fresh one was waiting. Talk about service!

The Samantha I was with did not have a tramp stamp tattoo. I don't think she had any tattoos. There were quite a few Number 1 Stunners all three nights I went. That's all relative as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There were at least seven or eight perfect 10's and a ton of 7-9's. A lot of skanks too. Not nearly as many Gringos patronizing as back in 2007. The second night was better than the first. It was pretty busy in there after 10pm each night. For a while it was standing room only after about 1130 pm. I like to get there at about dusk or a little after in order to see the shift change. I try to go about twice a year. I live on the East Coast and the logistics and expenses are high. Worth it though. I've been mongering in Budapest, Hungary, Sofia, Bulgaria, Paris, France, Frankfurt, Mainz, Idar Oberstein, Trier, Schweinfurt, and Baumholder, DE. I managed to end up in Tijuana about 20 days this year over many trips.
This is between a month in Thailand, 4 months in India and another 5 months in Europe.
Most recently, Dec 25-27th in TJ. A lot better than expected and not the money desperate I have seen in the past over a holiday.
I seem to run into plenty of forum folks.
The border lines are far better than they have been previously and apparently the Mayor escalated the waits to President Calderon who brought it up in diplomacy. There is a direct effect on Tijuana economy from border wait times.
CBP cannot say live with it anymore and there is even some recourse if you have a bad experience with an officer now.
There are times when the line is 2 hours or more still, but far more often its less than 20 minutes.
I monitor the border constantly while in town.

I was also in Tijuana this past weekend. I am in Tijuana at least once a month, and in most cases twice.
There are many new faces in Adelita's, and all the clubs. The Zona is ever evolving, with new ladies daily. Gone is Hottie Corner. Even the girls that stand between the stage and the seats seem to move more now. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall look of the ladies in all the clubs in Tijuana, since a few days before I had been in Medellin, Colombia. For whatever reason it did not seem as much of a suasage fest this past weekend.
Hotels are a very relative thing. What do you like, and how much do you want to spend? Probably the best quality deal around the Zona is Hotel Ticuan on calle ocho & just south of Ave. Revo. It is about $ 60. 00 per night with flat screen TV's, a safe, marble baths, etc. Many of the hotels on Ave. Revo, Espana, Nelson, Caeser are in the $35-30 per night range. The hotels around the clubs are also in the $35-30 range per night. Outside the Zona I have only stayed at Peublo Amigo, which is by the border and was O. K, but also about $90. 00 for the night, and if I remember included a breakfast buffet. It also has a Casino on-site, if that matters.
Last weekend I stayed at Hotel Leyva next to the Chicago Club. It is very basic, clean, and was $31. 00 per night. Since I have a favorita in CC it made it easy to get to the room. On my next trip I plan on staying at one of the other clubs hotels to get a feel for them.

Hotel Leyva is not actually the hotel that CC uses. I thought so also, but it is the next door down.
I don't think they charge for ladies coming in, and if you walk through the auto entrance you don't even walk by the front desk. A friend who knows a man who stays there says her brings SG's back with no problem. The ladies from CC use the hotel directly to the right walking out. I don't think that they would go to Leyva, since they are given a slip of paper that gets signed by the desk clerk after the session, and is given back to the coat check at CC.
It didn't have air, but had a fan that was adequate. The only noise was from the girls hooting it up on occasion. I think some of the bar girls stay there. All-in-all noise was not an issue. One bad thing was the dead bolt did not lock, and the door could be opened fairly easily I think (room 106). I don't take anything down that I would really care if I lost, so it wasn't a big issue. The shower had nice hot water though. It was clean, but old. I would stay there again though. The hotels on Ave. Revo are about the same cost and a slight step up, although it is another $3-$5 for the cab if you choose not to walk back at night.

I'd make more of an effort in that regard, excpet I have no wheels in Tijuana, and I have a helluva time with foreign languages over the phone. So, booking appointments can be a challenge.
Also, no local guy is going to go into some bar, come out with a chica and parade around town with a hooker on his arm. It's still a pretty conservative country, and you would ruin your career instantly if you were spotted doing so. So, there is never going to be much of a local market for anything but incall and discreet outcall.

It's been awhile since I actually sat and stayed at A / be. Since I got bored at H / k, I said what the heck, let's chill a little at A / be.
It wasn't crowded and there were a few who looked decent. One thing about our playing the game. It's all about timing. Most times I would walk into and out of A / be not knowing if I missed a stunner or not. By chilling out there, you get to see some of the beauties who were upstairs, on break, or just starting up.

Got there late (or early) , probably around 3:30am and stayed about an hour. Place was pretty crowded for the considering the time. Most tables were occupied. There were plenty of chicas but most in the 6. 5 to 7. 5 range. No real hotties. Better than HK though, which was close to empty. The upstairs had zero people. Maybe try again tomorrow.
