And just what the hell are you trying to say. You must of been reading my trip reports. Jajajaja."The Q Man" has absolutely been reading your reports! Hell, you have your own dedicated forum here on ISG. I can tell from your trip reports that you'd be one cool cat to hang out with and chase skirts with in the Sue.

Hey gents, been here for 9 days. Trip report coming soon. Tonight we were back in the Sou. First wave of police rolled up in their SUVs around 10 pm. I've never seen so many Haitians scatter. It was like an Olympic event LOL. The girls in the bars are fine and the ones with guys on the street are ok too. Second wave of police showed up at 11. A lot of girls raced into bars and went to the bathroom. Club 59 was packed but noticeably less chicas on the street. FYI, Taco.

Day 1 Friday-Arrival day.

2 Americans, early 40's. One with decent spanish (me), one with zero. I've got some solid mongering experience. Mi amigo had zero. Both first time visitors to the Sou.

Arrived and almost got ripped off on a bottle of water. I sternly just told the guy at the airport to give me back my $10 bill. And he did after the 4th request. He was trying to give me half the change I was due. Lame. Airport workers upon arrival and departure have the personalites of tree stumps.

I had done some previous ground work on Tinder and had a chica (19/ student from POP. Esmailyn) lined up to come over to the Sosua hotel we were at. She showed up and looked good. We had some wine in the room and then got down to action. She had never told me she had a kid even though we had chatted for a few weeks. The BBBJ was ok but the sex was pretty lousy. "You can't do this, you can't do that". Would not repeat. Gave her $60 total for the time and taxi. She didn't even look at the money, just threw it in her purse. Prob more of a pro than I thought. Bad first impression for the DR girls.

My boy and I walked the beach. Some of the beach club "casetas" have good energy with some girls but most are dead. Any input on that from the senior members? Does anything happen on the beach at night?

At night we headed to the main strip. Lots of girls standing around. Some follow us, after we talk tot them. Its kinda creepy. A lot make eye contact which is a nice change from Colombia. But let's not get into a comparison debate. LOL.

My buddy and I walked around and hit up a few of the main bars. Talked to a few girls. Got some numbers. Then we headed over to Sosua Lights / Nights. Great crowd, great energy, decent drink prices. One chica I liked ended up approaching me (Sandrina). She had a friend for my friend and we hung out. When we left and promised to meet up tomorrow, they followed us to our nearby hotel. She was blowing up my phone to just come up and sleep. Yeah right. So she gets up to the room and gets naked in 2. 4 seconds. Looks good. Service was ok but rushed. The interesting thing with this chica was that she wouldn't give me a direct answer as to how much money she wanted or how much time she would spend. Gave her $40 and off she went. My buddy fared much better for his first time negrita and hooker experience. His chica fucked for 4 hours. He overpaid at $80. Rookie. Saturday.

I checked out Alicia beach while my buddy slept. NIcer beach but not a lot of amenities down there. Steak was good at the waterfront restaurant.

Sat night I met up with another Tinder chica (19, non pro student, from POP. We will call her Mikhala) and she took us to Cabarete. Wow, great energy and crowd on the beach at Ojos club. Some working girls in the mix as well. After that we went to an after hours place called Oceans club. Chica spent the night but since she was a normal girl, not much developed. Stay tuned.

Sunday-Hungover day.

Wow, the entire area seemed dead! Super quiet. Night time still had the usual suspects roaming around.

Had a little Haitian spinner (Rossy) come over to the hotel for a quick romp. Pretty solid in the cama. Two rounds. $40. Just crazy to think its $200 plus in the states!

Monday.

My boy and I spent the day in POP. Hit up the Teleferico to cover our path with tourist pictures. Took motos down to the malecon. Hiked it and hit up a few bars in the afternoon. Very little action on the malecon in the afternoon. Made it back to Sosua for dinner and to cruise around a little. My boy passed out so I poked around solo style. I hit up Club 59 and spotted a cutie (Carina) and then asked her to go up stairs with me to Classicos. It was my first time. We shared a beer there but even tho she was a stunner, she had the personality of a tree stump / failed the interview. Firm believer in the personality dictates the service level. I ditched her and met another chica named Patricia on Rhosen street. Chatted for a bit and then had a beer with her at Chez bar. She wanted to come back and massage me. The funny thing was that her price for Massage & BJ and Sex was the same for just a BJ. She didn't know how to itemize LOL. I was really pretty tired at this time. Got her number and rolled over to "Cydi lights". 2 hotties in there. Place closes at 1 so I had about 30 minutes to check out the scene. Chatted with first nights chica (Sandrina) but wasnt interested. Left and went to Blue Ice. Wow, great looking servers there. Why hadn't I heard about this place! One was super hot and she waved to me goodbye when she left on her moto. I told myself I would return to swoop her up. Had a beer there and then posted up on the corner by Chez to watch the 1 am shit show. One Hatian chica, Soribel, rolled up. She was 19, and threw out a starting price of 1500 pesos. I was surprised. We eventually headed back to the stabin cabin and then left for water. Service was pretty good. She was pretty wet and was up for 2 rounds. She offered to stay until 5 am for more money but I wasnt interested. "We pay them to leave!" LOL.

Tuesday.

We relocated from Terra Linda resort to a private villa close to Playa Chiquita. I had built up a good whatsapp play list at this point so I wasnt concerned about how the rest of the trip would go. Had first nights chica (Sandrina) come over in the afternoon. She was soooo much better. I definitely felt the day time action provided better service than the late night action. Prob cause I could still see straight. Anyway, negotiated $60 for a few hours. Naked pool time and 3 rounds in the cama. I also picked up her shared cab fare. No problema. The looks on the residents faces when she was walking with me in her short shorts and her short top with no bra, was priceless. Ha!

At night, I realized we were right next door to Pica Flor bar. We headed over around 11;30 pm. IT WAS PACKED. Wow, all DR chicas and they were super forward. It was like pair after pair or four set after four set would approach. $100 for 3 hours or $150 for the full night until 9 am. A lot to choose from. Definitely some cuties and some vultures in the mix. Choose wisely. I told myself I would come back later as I was exhausted from the day.

Wednesday.

Imported a good looking Santo Domingo chica (34, we will call her Esmer) that I had been chatting with for a few months on Tinder. She won the award for most honest and best looking and was down for the 4 hour bus ride. We agreed on $100 to cover "expenses" and $20 for the total bus fare. Bus fare was about right compared to others that wanted $60 each way for the fare. Mentirs!

Chica showed up. Looked good. Drinks, pool time, sex time, dinner, and more fun all night. 6 sessions overall, 4 pops.

Thursday.

Woke up with chica from Santo Domingo, she made breakfast for us. What a great 15 hours with her. She is definitely a keeper for the future Santo Domingo team. Now on to the rest of the day.

The plan was to have Mikhala come over and then head out to Cabarete again. We had a great dinner on the beach and hit up a few of the bars out there. I really liked Cabarete. I prob should have got a villa out there. Mikhala stayed the night again and this time we had some fun in the cama, but no sex. Super perfect pussy. Trimmed, detailed, not abused and so fresh.

Friday.

My buddy and I and Mikhala spent the day drinking, sleeping, swimming, grilling, and listening to music at the villa. Such a good life. Mikhala took off in the evening to open up my night (she didn't ask for a single dollar). I cleaned up and headed over to Pica Flor (or as my buddy called it, "The Hornets nest". I got there around 11 pm and it was DEAD. I asked a few of the girls what was going on and they said that all the girls had already left. So I guess it's best to get there early on the weekends. Once chica said Sunday afternoons are great for Pica Flor. Anyways, I did a few interviews of the table scrap chicks that were left. None really impressed me. Marlenis is who I ended up. She was 30, had some kids, but was sweet and she held a good conversation. She actually smiled too, unlike the rest of the soulless WG's. So I paid the bar the $150 for the whole night and we left. I wasnt sure if there was an option to pay the girl directly, but it is what it was at that point. We walked back to the villa. I was glad Pica Flor wasnt a dick about forcing me to use one of their taxis. And chica was down for the walk. Extra points for her. We listened to some music, drank some wine, chatted before hitting the cama. She tried to use a condone for the BJ and I was like "no no no" and she quickly went away with it. LOL. Decent sex, nothing earth shattering. She was on top and was like "Wow, thank you", as if she just came. I just laughed and had another sip of my wine.

Saturday.

We went for round 2 in the AM but I was tired from her snoring. Probably a good interview question if you are doing an all night date. She gave me a BJ and a wank job for another pop. I walked her to the entrance to get her cedula and off she went.

Shortly after she left, I had the little Hatian chica (Sobritel) come over. Her brother dropped her off at my place on his moto. We swam, drank, and watched Pink Panther cartoons while she rode me backwards in the cama. I am serious! Hahaha. Her ass was amazing. We went 3 rounds. I gave her $60 and she was pleased. She also wanted to pose for some naked pictures. That was kinda cool as I am not one to ever ask. I sent her on her way after that and napped.

Saturday afternoon is when I started to hear about the Sosua police raids. I confirmed it with Sandrina from City lights. It happened both Thursday and Friday night. We were curious to see how it would be tonight when we headed into town.

We had dinner at the Waterfront. Still think that place had the best steak. Very few chicas on the streets. We then headed to Blue Ice. I really wanted to see this one chica (Ivelise) from the other night. We ordered some beers and I was able to chat with her. She said the rates were $40 to get her off her shift and she wanted $60 for 3 hours. She would have been worth it as her ass is amazing. She's 22 with one hijo. Someone needs to swoop that one up for some fun.

After that we went to Sosua Lights and said good bye to our chicas from the first night. The place was super empty. I was around then (10 pm) that the first wave of policia arrived on the streets. We finished our beers and headed over to Club 59, very few chicas on the street. Bar was packed though. Met Yesenia. 28, super small spinner. Wanted $60 for 3 hours. We left there and went to another bar. We all drank a few beers. My buddy, with no spanish, had a cute deaf chick approach him but he couldn't make it work. I bet she would give amazing service. Anyways, I decided to use my magic 8 ball app to see if I should take Yesenia home. Haha. She laughed when it came back. "As I see it, yes". We then headed out of the bar and saw the second wave of policia. Some of the Hatian chicks can really run. I only saw Hatians in the back of the policia trucks. No Dominicans. Some of the chicas raced into the bar we were in to take cover. My impression is that they are trying to turn the place into a Havana with chicas working in the clubs and not so open on the street. Who knows though.

Back at the Villa, Yesenia and I had some drinks and then got down to work. She could really perform in bed. She helped the DR vs Haiti point system I had been using. Haha. 1 solid leche was all I could muster but as she put it "I will need a grande propina as I won't be able to work for a month". Hahaha. She did get a nice propina and a bottle of rum that we werent going to be able to finish.

That wraps up the trip! Great time overall! Very very different from the other countries.

Misc notes / observations.

-DR was the easiest place to bring back guests. No ugly vibe from Hotel workers or security like I would sometimes receive in Indo, Colombia, Tijuana, Cuba, or Thailand.

-Jolly roger has some great food. Breakfast sandwhich!

-Blue Ice has some serious hotty servers in there. Didn't see that in any forum post.

-Classicos is a shit show with how many ladies are there. Its an upstairs club. I missed that memo LOL.

-The mongers that figure out that getting numbers is the way of the game, has it figured out right.

-It's a condom world in DR but those uncovered BJs are solid (still put Cuba BJ talent ahead though). Service was way better for the chicas I saw twice.

-Haitians performed way better than the DR chicas I had. And if you want to get some DR girls fired up, tell them that at Pica Flor. Hahaha.

-Pica Flor-Chicks were all about the immediate roll out and were not up for giving out their numbers. Way different from the Sosua scene.

-I was really surprised how small the main strip for the Sosua action is. Thought it would be more like a beach bar scene.

-Chicas lie every damn time about needing taxi money and just use motos and shared taxis for about a buck.

-Its a single moms world in Sosua. Rare to see a WG without that baby belly. A lot of see-sections though. Cheaper I guess?

-Why do all the chicas play music and have the volume of the TV up at an obnoxious level? Haha. Does all the cum have an impact on their hearing?

-The older dudes that talk to the chicas and stick their tongue in their ear are super creepy. Hope that's none of you dudes! Ha!

-Mangos at the airport has some terrible food.

Stopped by a roadside vendor today for some mangoes, a fruit I love. Each one costs 35 pesos, the young man told me. Ah OK, how much for 4 then? Can you do 30? He thinks and then says, "you can have 4 for 100 pesos".

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Can't wait to check out Santo Domingo next.Great post man! That's the Sosua I know and love!

Covered just about all the bases.

Also reminded me of the great steak at the Waterfront!

The only negative comment from the Sosua critics you got was some lame complaint about some future none existent post. Well done!

Mr. Charles is this DR law or a scam.

Mr. Charles is this DR law or a scam.If you are asking me, I would reply it is both.

I have heard of a few similar cases. I guess it depends on how good her lawyer is (including knowing whom to bribe or from whom to call in favors), how bad his lawyer is, and, in particular, what promises and commitments he made her in the emails offered as evidence.

Obviously the law is rarely applied, otherwise there would be dozens of cases every month, although there may be a few more than we hear about as the parties may wish to keep it quiet to protect their reputations in different ways.

It is very hard to make statements about Dominican law. There have been so many regimes adding new laws, but they rarely delete old laws, so it is one confusing palimpsest from which anyone can pick laws or rulings to suit there own case, if their pockets are deep enough.

If the "friend" threw her out only or mainly because she was fucking other guys he is an idiot. What else did he expect?

Shacking up with locals is usually disastrous. That is why I recommend haitianas. They are no less grasping, and indeed may be even more desperate for money, but they are less likely to know Dominican law and less able to use it to their own advantage. They usually try to steer clear of any sort of officialdom. Most of them are illegal immigrants anyway or have precarious status. Obviously there are exceptions to this if they or their families have been here some time.

However, Trying to convince the brothers to just go Haitian. It's like trying to tell Olkool he can only pick from the Casas. Or telling Mr. E he can only stay in two counties. Or telling Gogo you are only limited to 3 drinks an hour. Or how about making it official no more BBBJs in the Sue. Needless to say it ain't happenin.

Mr. Charles is this DR law or a scam.I don't know the exact application of law, but yes, it is not a scam and I know of couple of cases like that. It is not a spousal support. Allow for 1000 pesos a day to settle with your girlfriend.

It has nothing to do with the Math skills. It is a discount for buying 4. This is normally done in other countries.Of course you are right, Sammon. I was a bit surprised at the normally affable Tempoecorte posting that.

However, it did remind me of when the late Dominican Billy and I went to buy two cases of beer (48 bottles) for a party we were organizing that weekend. The supplier, Billy's usual one, gave us a price which roughly worked out at an extra 10 pesos per bottle. When asked why he was imposing a "negative quantity discount", he explained that it was surcharge to discourage us from doing it again as he could not replace his stock until Monday and would have to disappoint his regular customers.

Yes mangoes have just come in. I bought 12 for 100 pesos today but they were small ones. The bad news is that the avocado season is over.

Of course you are right, Sammon. I was a bit surprised at the normally affable Tempoecorte posting that..Oh come om Pooter! I thought it was bloody hilarious. My counter offer to his 35 pesos each was 30 (pointing to 4) which would mean 120 pesos vs his first quote of 140. Instead I got it for 100.

The mangoes were nothing to write home about though.

Would that be done in other countries? Not in the US, I think.

Not in the US, I think. If Tempecortos offer was legit, the vedor would go away with an asured 100 pesos rather than 35. He's happy! He might never have sold the other three!

Tempo gets his offer accepted and goes away happy with 4 30 peso mangos.

The cultural bias that someone must win, and someone must lose in a negotiation does not apply in the DR, and confuses at lot of newbies!

I just spent a few days at a campo up in the hills, when I packed I found all my clothes had been washed and my shoes cleaned. A huge bag of freshly picked garden produce to bring home to share with friends!

Sorta offset the beer bill I happily paid!

You seem to have been brainwashed. Yes, there is a lot of community support, but there is also a lot of knifing each other in the back (sometimes literally) over petty amounts or jealousies. No different than most countries, I agree, but not better than most.

Not in the US, I think. There is a asking price which leads to negotiations. Seller felt buyer is not going to buy at 35 pesos and he sweetened the deal. Mangoes are perishable. So seller needs to get rid of them as early as possible.

Well, to tell you the truth this happens in USA also with street vendors. They will sweeten the deal all the time if they felt buyer is not paying the asking price.

Well known for its slums and of course Mother Teresa (who was soundly and rightly castigated by my admired and your fellow countryman Chris Hitchens. BTW, speaking of my haggling "skills", a 19 year old on Tinder, was okay coming to see me today from Pto Plata for 1200 pesos. She started at 2500 but I reminded her that I was not a rich gringo, and she quickly acquiesced! LOL.

Makes me wonder why our yesterdays are more then our todays.I was in Jamaica and Bombay in the 70's, PI and Korea in the 80's, Cuba, Hungry, Romania and Thailand in the early 90's. Many other destinations since and I understand what they're saying. Its not just historical romanticism. Its allot like what Vegas has morphed into through the 70's, 80's, 90's... 2018, etc. Its turning into Disney-like Tourism. Its not clever or clandestine, out of the way or away from other tourists anymore. Its not for the discrete. Its mindless!

IMO, the internet and social media have exposed spots thus making it easier to make connections with exotic locals and their women for sex. Before the internet became popular local girls didn't even have phones. Western union was the hit with most girls wanting a rich foreign boyfriend as the trophy. Email was the connection. It wasn't about an hour fuck, CBJ or multiple foreign partners, the girls weren't business oriented. It was about love sex and having fun. They were young, beautiful and wanted a boyfriend that would appreciate them unlike the local guys. It was about fake love and getting a monthly western union stipend and guys visiting enjoyed the fake romance and attention before returning to the states and their boring lives. Guys held girls hands, took girls to breakfast after a great night of sex and even had their girls go to the clubs to dance and have fun with them. No one knew what an hour fuck was then. Understand before that girls didn't know pricing yet, it was what you gave them. Girls would stay with you the whole weekend for 20 usd hoping to leave such an impression that you would western union them in the future.

Once the internet arrived in full fashion everything became easy and business like. Western union was slowing down in favor of fast money immediately. Guys didn't want a weekend girlfriend and girls didn't want a weekend boyfriend. Without the internet Brazil over showdowed the Dominican Republic. I didn't even know where the DR was until 2007. I thought it was the island of Dominica. Now that the secret was out guys had more options opening up. The new breed didn't care about learning Spanish, learning Latin dance or to meet the family. The new breed was dealing with competitive girls in the states who wanted equality not the old fashioned girls that was the previous generation. The girls adjusted also, learning that they could fuck for one hour instead of a whole weekend. Its like a meeting of cold hearts. The internet created a business culture where the girls want fast money and guys want a great deal. We are now seeing the "old school" guys trying to show that there is still fun to have in the Dominican Republic if you branch out and embrace the culture and the new school guys saying fuck that I just want to fuck a girl for an hour at a great deal.

Live here on the Sue set. If they came and did a Chica sweep last Thursday and Friday; there are a lot of chicas that did not get the memo. The place is business as usual. Actually I see abundance of Chicas active and hungry. I went to classico to get a VIP table and they were Completely booked.

Another sweep and they caught 2.Predictable.

Next, a MC helmet sweep, then a couple road block check points on the highway to PP, then business as usual. Repeat, when actual crime is slow!

Now here's the "secret".

Forget what people say, watch what they do! All this talk about closing down the prostitution business in Sosua in just bull.

There are many ways they could do that!

Make prostitution illegal, or enact anti- soliciting local laws.

Have the cops hassle the mongers, marks and johns, like they do with women. No ID with you? Straight to jail!

Bingo!

The show is over! :)

Instant access to schedules, transportation, chicas and no wasted time waiting around, or trying to hook up with friends and chicas.

Wifi almost everywhere, bluetooth and Youtube for any kind of music you like! More hot water and A/C.

For me personally things are better than ever in Sosua. I thought I was "old school". After my last long term relationship with a local, I leaned a lot, like how to set the ground rules from the beginning, stay in overall control of the relationship and budgets. It requires saying no, firmly and meaning it!, and being willing to walk if you have major differences of opinion!

Training. It's not easy but when it works, it is great!

She only expects to come down on weekends, leaving me free during the week to hang with amigos and local ladies, and listen to beautiful chicas I know, but haven't been with, promise me all kinds of earthly delights if only I would take them back to my place.

Worth a beer, at my age, LOL!

Lost 35 pounds, thanks to mi chica's home cooking, and encouragement. My fridge is always full of home made food so literally I only get to a resaurant about twice a week, But lots of Predidente Lite which agrees with me and seemingly I can drink with no loss of control, just a nice little buzz!

Spent a long weekend with great local family campo up in the hills, and had the best time of my life!

Your old school ways taught you to figure out the big picture. Your post sounds like me. I sip presidents light because I can drink socially a light beer and only get a slight buzz. I also set limitations with my Dominican honeys but they are so determined to work their agenda that it usually takes three or four rounds before they finally start to get it.

Outside of the tourist areas, hot water, electric constantly, and internet access are not the norm, so it takes time to make the adjustment. That's what killed me when living in SD, having down time without the basic amenities that we have in the States was very boring.

As far as a relationship, she will bring the family onboard. I've been fighting this for over a year with my main girl but she just keep pushing it. Over time they eventually wear you down and you start making adjustments but that only opens the door for the rest of the family. I've learned to be unpredictable, maybe even cold at times, to maintain some independence. It usually leads to crying and begging on her part for a bigger piece of you. I never trust completely but I do give of myself to the culture as I see fit.

I'm pretty sure if you wanted to buy you a girlfriend you should be able to purchase one. However the GFE is a gift. It takes skills, luck and / or money. You should have put money first! LOL!

Money is always the big driver in DR especially Sosua! Without it you'd both be hungry, LOL!

Aside from the money, girls enjoy being around guys who are happy and enjoy being with friends. With a big age difference a sense of humor is essential, and a self depreciating attitude. When my chica introduced me to her momma, husband and aunts who were younger than me I said, with a laugh, that she is just my good friend, my amiga.

It was she who corrected me to insist to them that I was her corozon, LOL! But everybody understands what's going on and everybody is cool with it!

One thing I learned that you can't keep them too far away from their family and friends. You can't keep them cooped up for your own private pleasure. If you don't have an appreciation for the culture and weird family values, you don't need a real local GF. (I'm an atheist, but spent two hours in a remote local church on Sunday, saw a wedding anniversay re-dedication, a baptism and joined in the karaoki like singing with 2 guitars and a keyboard).

Everybody in the village showed up. But how we all held hands and shook hands with everybody around us at the end, reminded me what community was all about and the cold place I left in NA where I lived for 6 years and never knew my neighbors, and never got a "hola!" on the street!

So if you want a real Domincan GF, pay your respects to her family and friends once in a while. She'll love you for it!

I never had a real GFE for an hour, or an overnighter! Takes a little comittment, or don't bother with it!

I will be posting TR shortly but wanted to warn fellow travelers to absolutely avoid these two girls that stroll the main strip on Clisante and warn your friends as well.

I had one too many drinks, while having dinner at the small restaurant ran by a Spanish guy and in retrospect I could have used better judgment. I don't recall the name of the restaurant where I was dining but it's few restaurants down from Classico. Long story short, while I was having dinner on the sidewalk, these two as a duo and many other girls were walking up and down the block. I had few girls sit down for chit chat and had these two sit down as well. I was only interested in the girl in the long skirt but she won't go alone. Negotiated twelve hundred each and off we went to hotel after dinner. I am not a big fan of three some as I never recall having a good experience except couple of times in BKK or HKG.

Once we got to the hotel, had the manager on duty check their IDs to make sure they were legit. The hotel also had the policy of keeping ID's at the front desk which he did.

Once in the room, I had a suspicion that things may not go well when they were reluctant to take shower (I had hot water in shower!

I had to take a shower and didn't want them out of sight so kinda gently forced them to f'and clean up as a team before the act. While three of us in the shower noticed some 'red' trickle down the drain -and knew right away that one or both were on their monthly. My luck, turned out the one I wanted was on her period -she never mentioned that earlier. A big no no for me and a huge turn off. Dining was out of the question of course.

The overall situation slowly deteriorating, made to bed, laid down towels to limit damage from aunt flo. I am thinking to myself that worst case, I am talking about less than 45 Euros down the drain.

Surprisingly the girl I wasn't interested in, had a tight body and willing to do oral sin condom. She was doing OK until she started playing the up-sell game. To make matters worse, the other girl who was on her period, started up selling too. The only positive during constant up-selling was that I learned a new word for baby 'bambino'! Because when they were non stop yapping in Spanish bambino this bambino that -for a minute I had no f'and clue what they were talking about. While all this is happening, I wanted to leche and get done. Started out with the girl on her period but she wouldn't S T F you about up selling and bambino. At this point I pulled the plug (literally and figuratively) as I totally lost interest and had them immediately get the hell out of the room.

If the situation ended here, I won't be posting this as I am sure one time or the other, most if not all of us have been in such a situation. You cut your losses and live for another day.

Ten minutes later after they left shouting and screaming in the hallway, I hear knock on the door. It was hotel's front desk guy. He tells me that (1) he won't return the girl's IDs because he didn't know if everything was OK -bonus points for him for that (2) he said girls are claiming that I had session with them but did NOT pay and that they will call the police. In my 30 years of doing this, never once has anyone blamed me for not paying! Let's just say I have always paid my bills -doesn't matter for what but have paid up and done so on time.

I told the manager that the girls are lying but he should give them their IDs and get them the F out of the hotel and if they bring the police then let them do so. To his credit, he believed my version of the story but the whole situation in the middle of the night was rather unsettling to say the least.

You'd think this is where this story would end -no!

While I am still talking to the manager in hallway outside my room, the two girls come running up the stairs and shouting in Spanish that I could not understand but they came up to threaten me with making signs of stabbing with a knife and pointing outside etc. Perhaps a warning that if they see me outside, they will kill me or something along those lines. I told them to F off and hotel guy forced them both downstairs and eventually out.

However despite all this drama -I was still able to salvage the night by hooking up with the girl I had earlier seen in the day. I actually had her come over and we went out to get some fresh air, had couple drinks at the place across from Alicia hotel.

And no, I wasn't looking over my shoulder for two crazies running with knives towards me.

Despite the warning post about my one bad experience with two girls in Sosua, I had an overall good short visit to DR.

Arrival / airport / ATM / taxi mafia.

I was in Boston area for business trip and added Sosua as a side long weekend getaway trip before returning to Europe. Arrived in POP on a bright sunny afternoon -absolutely stunning scenery from the left side of the plane while approaching POP.

Exited the plane to 3 guys playing traditional music! You will never have that greeting in Europe of USA! So enjoy it and give the guys a buck or two.

Paid $10 landing fee and breezed through the customs.

I didn't see any ATM inside the terminal but right after the exit, on the left side there are two ATM machines close to each other. I initially had problems as the machine kept spitting the card out. It turned out there is a limit on how much at one time you can withdraw. If I recall, I ended up taking out only Eur 100 or less.

I knew ahead that Taxi is expensive given the place and distance but I had just arrived from Europe to USA to DR -I wasn't going to try to find bargain or haggle over $25! I crossed the street after dealing with ATM and sure enough the taxi mafia has the signs posted for USD 25 to Sosua. Hopped in and headed to my hotel.

Hotel:

During pre trip planning was rather surprised to see that most of the hotels in Sosua had no availability for the weekend. Even directly called New Garden and Casa Valeria but still had no luck. Even farther away from Dr. Rosen, hotel Europa was also booked. Despite the warning from this forum, ended up staying at Urban Cabana and didn't regret it. Taxi driver didn't know where the hotel was but we were able to locate it in no time. Hotel is in middle of the action and has a nice lobby. Rafael at front desk is absolutely pleasure to deal with and he was the one to check me in etc.

My room was big with nice big bed, AC, TV, fridge, WiFi, free water and bathroom with hot water. Rate included free breakfast from restaurant right next door. What else a guy could ask for?

The only drawback would be noise esp if the room dead on faces Dr. Rosen street. My room was on to the side of the main drag but still noise was a factor esp if you want to get a good night sleep. All day and esp at night you will hear music blasting and of course the traffic sounds. Part of the allure I suppose if you are just cruising by or crashing for couple nights.

Main course (food and chicas):

Day 1:

The fun began or rather the process started even before I had stepped foot outside the taxi! While making payment and dealing with change, a chica sitting at the bar / restaurant right across from the hotel was waving and smiling. Welcome to Sosua I suppose. I just waved back as had other things on mind such as changing out of dirty airline clothes, shave and taking a hot shower -sometimes these necessities take precedence, don't they!

After settling in, making some mandatory business / family phone calls -headed out to get some lunch. But wait! The chica that was waving to me was now in the lobby -hate to presume but I think she was getting closer to her prey. Still primarily driven by desire to get some food in my stomach, briefly talked to the chica -she spoke good English and claimed she was from SD. I asked her for some restaurant recommendations and she suggested Terra Linda and Baileys.

Ended up at Terra Linda -was late afternoon, almost early evening and only couple of tables were taken. If not mistaken everyone dining there was American and in groups. My experience was rather lame -food was overpriced and not that tasty. That was the only time I ate at Terra Linda.

Afterwards, went out for a stroll to get lay of the land. Ended up at Alicia Beach -very nice indeed. Lot of families and chicas around. Still not in hunting mode, walked around some more, came back to the beach for stunning sunset and walked back to the hotel. Things were starting to pick on the street -several girls hanging outside the ice cream shop across from El Conde. Got propositioned while passing by New Garden and in front of hair salon across from Terra Linda. I think I really wanted to fell prey to the first chica as I ended up back at my hotel. She was back at her previous spot of across the street and came running over as she saw me walk past the grocery store couple doors down.

We chatted in the hotel lobby and had a drink. Body wise, she obviously had kids but came across as chilled, no nonsense and rather charming. I started talking business and in few minutes headed up stairs. The hotel kept her ID. In the room, she was laid back, no rush, showered, took her time and never rushed. I had a great time and next day ended up repeating with her for TLN that just happened naturally without any business talk.

The night was still young -went out to check out the bars / clubs on Clisante and get some dinner. Outside of BKK and MNL, rare to see that many girls clustered around less than three block radius ready and willing to go to bed with you. It was basically point and click situation. Ended up picking a long haired bleached blonde with a wonderful attitude. She delivered as promised and no up sell. I had an early AM departure for a tour so called it a night afterwards.

Day 1 in the books and not bad at all.

Day 2:

Spent all day touring around doing what tourists do. Had horrible traffic getting back to Sosua -just from the airport area to Dr. Rosen it must have taken over an hour. There were cars and bikes everywhere in a cluster F of a traffic jam. To their credit, there was traffic police trying to help to the extent they could.

Made it to the hotel rather later than expected. After cleaning up headed out for dinner. Again was rather surprising the touristy prices in Sosua -ended up eating at small restaurant on Clisante. This is where I met the two girls with whom I had a bad experience (see my other post).

Despite the bad experience, was able to salvage the night by hooking up with the Dominican chica from previous evening. I think when we went out for a stroll and stopped by couple bars, she got rather tipsy on just 2-3 drinks and ended up staying for TLN.

Day 3:

We ended staying up in bed way past my normal get up time of 6:30 AM, 10 AM to be exact! I gave her equivalent of 50 euros which she took without counting or complaining and I offered her breakfast which she gladly accepted. Rafael at the front desk was kind enough to bring breakfast trays from Rocky's to the hotel lobby -great guy and excellent breakfast.

My last day was a bum out at the beach day- went to Alicia beach but they wouldn't allow people near water maybe due to high tide. No big deal, walked around town, did some shopping -used every (well almost) bargaining technique that I have mastered over 30 years of bouncing from one continent to another. Ended up at Sosua beach -walked around, got propositioned, ignored, walked around some more, had some lunch, got propositioned again, ignored and headed back to the hotel.

Back at hotel took care of mandatory work crap (love it when customers create an artificial crisis on national holidays to look busy or important) NOT!

Plan for tonight was to hit Sosua Lights (SL) for a Haitian dessert on my last night in town. After another dinner at Conde, walked to what appeared to be rather dead Sosua Lights at 10 PM. Didn't step in, poked my head inside, only couple customers and virtually no chicas. I asked the security guard WTF -he said come back in an hour or so. Ok no problem, back on street patrol -walked past Sosua Lights and stumbled upon hotel Europa -kept walking and found mostly handful of empty bars and restaurant. Made a you turn after street got virtually dark and not much foot traffic. Several chicas walking and propositioning on my walk back near SL -ignored all as wanted to check out SL itself. Now around 11 PM things were starting to pick up -chica after chica coming in and going straight to bathroom to fix up their makeup and hair. I grabbed a table in front of the bar with a great vantage point. Very loud music made difficult to hold a conversation beyond the mundane chatter but isn't that why we are here anyways!

Talked to three Haitian-a-s -all doable, bought drinks to the 3rd one only as my choice was starting to narrow down. She said she had a child although it was hard to believe given her physique. I was getting a good vibe and around 1 AM decided to head back to hotel with her. Agreed on 1500 DOP and she delivered as promised. I had an early flight and didn't want to get into TLN situation as all my valuables now were out of locker and packed.

Had a taxi lined up to take me back to airport for $20. I am sure you can negotiate that further down but WTF.

This and that:

1. While out and about -several moto-bikes dudes wanted to take me to Pica Flor and I wasn't interested. Maybe some day but not right now.

2. Can't count on the ATMs as they were mostly out of service or out of cash. I went repeatedly to one ATM so many times in vain that the security guy with shot gun at the machine started waving to me a 'no sign' 50 feet away. I am talking about the Popular ATM on side of Bailey's restaurant. I ended up exchanging at a decent rate from the small travel agency attached to Rockys.

3. Noticed some dislike between the Dominicans and Haitians -somewhat along the same lines between Paisas and Venezuelans in Panama.

4. Still don't understand why flights from US to Santo Domingo are outrageously f'and expensive -anyone care to explain?

5. Attaching couple pics from the trip -cropped due to privacy.

I told her in a joking manner that I was not a "rich gringo" and of course she could see on the Tinder profile that I was not white. It worked beautifully.

Speaking of that, I met a 75 year old gentleman this time, dining at my favorite restaurant, who lives in Sosua, was a trucker in his previous life, and described some adventures in the Sosua hinterland that made both of us laugh about the prices we speak of here (including mine). I told him, I am going with him next time. Of course we need a SUV, my sedan would't do it crossing streams and unpaved road, and obviously, "God willing".

I guess the person thought that he was Floyd Mayweather because I don't know who walks around with that type of money without bodyguards. It would've been easy to just hire some Dominican police if you need to walk around with that type of cash. This information comes from a Dominican friend of mine that lives in Santiago but is always in Sousa. He said there's a big reward that will be pay for information and the police will continue the raid sweep in Sousa until they get the information.
This incident supposedly took place two weeks ago. Take it with a grain of salt.

This incident supposedly took place two weeks ago. Take it with a grain of salt.Apparently even you cannot figure out whether it is plain old rumor mongering (of which the DR is chock full) or a figment of your friend's imagination. Why not stick to verifiable facts, your own experience or questions? Also check this, which comes out in the English language. If you do not see your story, it most likely did not happen.

Take it with a grain of salt.Probably exaggerated gossip. Maybe RD $10,000?

It would've been easy to just hire some Dominican police if you need to walk around with that type of cash.If I had a large sum to protect, the Dominican Police would be the last people I would turn to.

I am in the process of deciding where to build a villa in Sosua / Cabarete. There is a new small development on El Choco road that is at the top of my list, I know the developer and a couple other people interested in building there. One of the things that attracted me to the place is that it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, nothing but farmland with some expensive homes here and there. Anyway, a recently built villa became available so I rented it for two months to see if I liked living there. Across the street is a ginormous house, the picture doesn't do it justice to be honest. Even though there are other large homes in the area this one stands out. I asked the developer about it and he said that it is the Charlis Angels house. For those that don't know, Charlis Angels is one of those all inclusive over priced wh0 re houses. What surprises me the most is the amount of business they are doing considering the price the cheapest package is $4500. USD per person for three nights! Taxi vans loaded with dudes and girls coming and going constantly, at night it is all lit up music blasting etc. Supposedly he has Russians, Venezuelans and Colombians on the menu. To rent the entire mansion with ladies it is 50,000. USD for a week. Too rich for me, I'll stick to my own little piece of paradise and 3000 peso overnight Puerto Plata girls. Full disclosure, the photo of the rear of the property is taken from their website, other photos are mine.

The Malecon in PP was always a blur to me as I would drive past it on my way to La Serena! I spent a day there yesterday!

For those who don't know, the Cosita Rica Playa is a really pleasant and shady place to spend a relatively quiet day. The Cosita Rica Beach Restaurant will treat you like a king and get you everything you might need and the whole fish lunch is really to die for! Not dirt cheap, but great value for money!

This area (and Constambar) has replaced Sosua and Cabarete as my favorite place to take a good friend, and spend a day.

A great break from sport fucking. Check it out!

Note: Get your local chica to arrange the transportation and save a bundle!

ORIGINALLY I WAS HEADING TO RIO, BUT FOR A FIRST TIME MONGER TRIP DECIDED SOSUA WOULD BE WISER CHOICE.

After a 6 hours delay on my flight I finally arrived in Sosua, wanted a drink somewhere near my hotel so ended up in Sondabar, lots of street rats walking past tying too hard to get my attention. My first mistake. I saw this rat with an ass and a smile that got me, I was horny so ended up inviting her over, agreed everything and headed back she did everything that was agreed but was rushing trying to get me to nut because she wanted to get back out on the strip to get another customer. Don't let the testosterone hornyness take over your brain!! And don't get desperate and choose the first chica you see!!

The next few days were a combo of Merengue then Classicos. I tried Classicos once and stopped going there, not my type of place. See an older light skin chica in Merengue she's around 32 but curvy thick.

Details agreed and we head back, she was cool and did everything agreed but had a caeserean scar and a belly with titties that sagged, Look out for spanx or belts that hold the gut in and push the.

Titties up. These things put me off of her.

Another night I told a chica I was only in the mood for BBBJ and CIM, she agreed and we head back to the room, she starts sucking my dick but wants the lights off, well I want them on so can see her lips sucking my dick. She keeps turning them off and after a couple times I realized why she's doing this!! She thinks that she is being filmed on camera, I assure her that she isn't and she agrees to having the lights on. Now she starts complaining that her jaw is hurting her and doesn't want to give BJ anymore, not in the mood for her bullshit so tell her to leave and give her 500 pesos, always best to give them something to avoid any dramas!!

Sosua lights is the place for Haitians so I was told but it was dead so crossed the street into Blue ice bar now this place is my scene!! But not really busy. The chicas that work there are good and are definatley available but you will have to pay a fee to the bar if they leave during work hours. Its getting late in Merengue and choose a chica with long black natural hair and a fat fake booty that I want to smash in doggy, everything agreed we head back to the room on a motoconcho, but once in the room she says she doesn't want to shower?? What the fuck!? She said 'I am clean baby no shower' well then you can get the fuck out of my room *****!! She was cursing at me giving me evils when she was walking down the stairs! After this episode I hit up Casino at PC where girls that don't get picked go at the end of the night to try one last time. I spotted a thin petite chica with dyed Red hair and tattoos, took her back she was hot and had stamina too match!! Could ride for ages and take a pounding. No bullshit games with her. Managed to see her another 3 times after this and one last BJ before I headed to airport.

I tried most spots for food in Sosua and on the beach but found Baileys and Terra Linda to be the best, didn't get the hype on Bourbon street or Sinatras. If you get bored in the daytime or bored of fucking and want a change of scenery then head to the waterfalls, PP or Cabarete. The waterfalls is an all day trip once you factor in travel to and from, and is worth doing but is tiring so beware of burnout. Hit up Cabarete one night and saw many dudes from Sosua there with chicas eating at restaurants. Completely different vibe than Sosua, many nice restaurants and more European crowd.

This is not a long report but only the basics of my time in Sosua. I have learnt the DO'S and DONTS and on my second trip will put this into practice along with my Spanish that am currently learning.

The good thing about Sosua is that everything is there in your face and it is point and click. The bad thing is all the bullshit games that you will encounter. The bad thing about Rio for a first time guy is that it is not as point and click anymore. You have to know where to go. The good thing (as you can tell from reading the Rio thread) is that you will not get the bullshit games. It is like chicks there have a reputation to protect and they come at you with their finest performance to win you over as a customer. Also, Brazilians are not ashamed of their bodies. You will see a lady as big as a house at the beach with a bikini on or Fat Albert wearing a sunga (speedo type swimwear.) What you see is what you get there. Also, cameras used to be welcomed with open arms in Rio...Blast it from the past

You are learning well!

Next time you may avoid the late night Meringue / Classico / Casino desperate and sweaty chica hustle, and settle in to a more controlled game. More head, less dick approach.

(But at my age, that's easy for me to say now! Lol)

A 10 minute beer or coke with a prospective lay, before committing, can be a cheap way to avoid most of the the puta hustle!

BBBJ and CIM is not a good request to a chica you haven't battled tested. If her skills are sub par or worse how long will it take you before she can make you come. 10 20 30 45 minutos or an hour or more? Throwing in her short attention span, weak jaw, small payment (assuming you handled that as well) The world may never find out! IMO That's a hard skill to request in da Sue.

Bellamar use to be the old Sosua Bay Resorts. Bellamar and Victoria House are the worst hotels in Sosua! The water pressure is bad and cold, the wifi sucks, and they are not forthright about booking. Go online and find many different sites quote different prices. Security is horrible. I had taxis and girls come knocking on my room door as if someone told them my room. Another guest had a security guard enter their room at 1 am. He thought the room was empty so he could hide and sleep. As for linen and towels, they are always late and are not done during room cleaning. They try to sell the property because of the location, but you are better at another hotel. As for the manager, she is never there. You always have to deal with a smart as desk person. There are other hotels in Sosua that have invested money in renovations. This hotel and furniture is outdated, and their is a long walk from the front dest to the rooms. They charge between $65 to $75 a night, but for that price you can stay somewhere more accommodating. I topped referring friends to Bellamar and Victoria House.

The place was very nice with five star dining, snacks 24/7, nightly shows in the open air theater, it was really nice. An Italian dude owned it at the time and subsequently was run out of town for who knows what. We used to enter with the ladies on the "beach walk" side (opposite end of the property from Victoria House) kept the girls out of sight from the regulars family tourist thing and out of the main lobby. When the Italian owner left things stared heading south. It became the Hotel Azul and now I guess the Bellamar. SAVE YOUR MONEY! There are better places to stay in Sosua. I personally got burned pretty good all the way around and will not stay again time share or not.

Peace,That Italian dude was Armando. He got tied up in a lawsuit that last I heard is still ongoing. He subcontracted it out to certain entities and the quality went down. He also owned Classics till a couple years ago and after one disco. He was deported but came back a few times. Meanwhile the property was decaying. It still has one of the nicest double pools overlooking the bay.

Although Portuguese is the official language many people do speak Spanish also. Mainly because all the surrounding countries are Spanish speaking. Spanish is a good language to learn.Still, though, surely Gertsch700 was not thinking that many people might know Spanish. He was in the grip of the unusually common misconception that the primary language of Brazil is Spanish. In any case, Spanish is spoken by many people in the US, too. But that's not a reason for a Spanish-learning tourist to visit the US. The vast majority of Americans are English-only speakers. The same is true of Portuguese in Brazil.

Hello, Sosua world. My boy Denny asked me to come and tell all you travelers that he just finishing up his first novel about life in Sosua. If you recall, he was the person who spearheaded the effort to expose the murder of an American businessman, who was killed and relieved of his properties by a Dominican woman and here fake tough guy American boyfriend. He exposed it on different forums and they were eventually arrested and convicted of killing the guy.

Well, he wrote a book about his efforts called Sanding the Wood. He is currently doing a fundraiser on kickstarter to raise funds for marketing and promotion of the book. I have had a chance to read it and it is dead on, as far as life in Sosua. I guess he really knows that place, seeing how long he was there working with the guy that was killed.

Denny said he is dropping the book in June, so I might come back and post about it again. This book really opened my eyes to a lot of things, both go and bad, that are going on in Sosua. I laughed and I felt his pain while reading the book. I don't know if he is a good writer, but he tells a good story, so I encourage all to check it out. It's a good Dominican Republic read.

Well, happy mongering and I'm out!

As long as the law of the land allows for prostitution nothing in the Dominican Republic will change in that regard. The more sophisticated among us might want to pay attention to the current macro issues affecting the current economy (GDP growing at between 5 to 6 percent annually is just one example). That is going to affect the prices and attitudes on the street for the average sexual tourist and sexpat much more than books written by obscure people about subjects most people consider to be unsavory and on the fringe.

As the Dominican Republic becomes more affluent (and if you happen to venture outside of the popular puta pueblos you will see this happening on a macro and micro economic scale) it is going to have a profound effect on the culture we currently enjoy in this country.

It sounds to me like this is a book about a real life crime that was committed in Sosua a couple years back. Not a book about mongering.

It was a bizarre crime worthy of Hollywood.

I knew Denny years ago and he is a guy who has assimilated into the Dominican culture and spent a good amount of his life living there.

I would think this would be a fascinating look into this story.

If anything is going to ruin mongering in Sosua for us, it will be all the morons going down there who have no couth, or respect for the people who have to live in that country.

I hope the book comes to fruition. Because to me the country is a much more interesting place than just somewhere for me to drag my dick through.

Stay tuned folks! Cuidate. The Dominican Republic is the Caribbean's most popular tourist spot. It saw further growth in the first few months of 2018, with a healthy 60% of that growth from the USA And Canada.

Regardless of who gets the credit, the American economy is growing fast, with low unemployment and a booming stock market, and it is those factors that affect American tourism numbers.

It is one reason why the putas are able to ask those exorbitant prices, and sometimes getting them. Sosua is putting some of those dollars to work, with newly paved streets, sidewalks, tree planting and plans to re-shape the main drag to be more tourist friendly. Hotels are following the lead and are renovating and adding rooms.

How this all will affect mongers, is another story, but it remains a beautiful, welcoming, nearby, cheap and safe destination destination for North Americans. No drug wars, civil unrest, or terrorism threats.

And the money shot is the bountiful supply of beautiful independent young women, plying their trade legally without the hassle of Mamasans and pimps. No bait and switch phony ads, photoshopped pics,. What you see in front of you is what you get, and no car is needed.

I agreed with your earlier comment about publicity. Even here on ISG we can discuss our personal experiences without the necessity of posting details (menus, prices, and take out fees and the names of the managers and operators of the establishments that serve the mongers well, but are technically on the periphery of illegallity.

As long as prostitution is legal here, they'll always be mongers.

I agreed with your earlier comment about publicity.Large numbers of mongers being indiscreet along with the explosive growth of (regular) tourism are two of the largest factors I see driving the current current changes in Sousa. Even looking at it from the outside (which I am and prefer to do) all you have to do is follow the money to figure out who has the real political pull in that local jurisdiction. Sousa is no secret in the Dominican Republic or the world. But no Dominican (male or female) wants their nose rubbed in it and a large number of the girls roaming the streets and hanging out in the bars and nightclubs of Sousa are not from the area. And they do not want others know that they are in Sosua doing what they do. So, if the Dominicans themselves respect this then as guests in their country it might behave us to do the same.

Even here on ISG we can discuss our personal experiences without the necessity of posting details (menus, prices, and take out fees and the names of the managers and operators of the establishments that serve the mongers well, but are technically on the periphery of illegallity.I'm not sure if I would want to engage in self censorship. But prudence in posting details that identify individuals is certainly something that I agree with. The back channel is excellent for the exchange of information in more detail. But, if some one has opened a legal business and has targeted mongers along with the girls who serve them as part of their business model, I would argue they have already put themselves out there. They are have entered the public sphere in full view and should be subject to public reports in forums such as these.

No pimps and mama sans? OK. But what about the husbands, bothers and uncles, mothers, sisters and aunts, encouraging, facilitating and enabling them to do what they they do to make some money and help out their respective families. Don't get it twisted. Comparisons to the mouse house except for adults aside it's just another business. And from the reports I've received business is good.

All the putas I've interacted with over the last 10 years are freelancers, and I've never had to deal with their husbands, brothers, uncles, mothers, sisters and aunts.

That sounds like a complicated way of getting laid in Sosua. But to each his own, LOL!

And I'm not for censorship.

Just a little discretion about some places that are skirting the law by providing hookers to tourists on premises, and excercising a degree of control over them and the prices thay can charge, which is technically illegal.

We've had folks on here naming the managers, detailing exactly what the house cut vs the chica's take is in these places.

I've never used an incall, or a take out, myself in Sosua, but Passions and CMP were a convenient and fun venue for many mongers.

Be a shame to lose some of the others.

And the money shot is the bountiful supply of beautiful independent young women, plying their trade legally without the hassle of Mamasans and pimps. No bait and switch phony ads, photoshopped pics,. What you see in front of you is what you get, and no car is needed. That is a very explicit statement outlining the type of girls operating in Sosua and how the are operating. But does that mean there are no other driving forces behind them selling their pussy to you or others?

Just because you have personally never dealt with the individuals who are / may be the driving forces behind the prostitutes you interact with does not mean that the business in and of itself is powered by the overwhelming desire to sell you and others their pussy. It should be noted that I have not dealt with anyone in front of any prostitute in any country where I've had the opportunity to buy pussy. That does not mean that there was not someone that was behind the scenes driving the action or waiting to receive the money. And haven't seen where you have addressed that particular issue. So I did. Not being critical, just kicking a little knowledge to others about behind the scenes action. As for the best way to get laid (in Sosua or any other place), I've always felt that is best left to the individual monger and would never tell another man how to spend is money or what type of girl he should be attractive to.

Sosua is not the only place in the Dominican Republic where there are streetwalkers or girls hanging out in bars waiting to sell you pussy. And there are many places in Santo Domingo that provide access to prostitutes where you don't need a car. You can get there via moto, transporte publico or taxi. The demise of any business operating on the edge of legality can hardly be traced to a report on ISG. In most cases it involves failure to handle their business with their local authorities or mistreating the girls to the point of crossing that bright line into illegality. Although I have not read Dominican Law in Spanish or passed the tests needed to practice law in the Dominican Republic, I have read the news stories about the demise of locations and I've never seen where they have been tipped off by a post here in ISG about what is going on.

Anyone given the opportunity to read a quote from my entire text would see that my point was that the projection that prostitution is engaged in by the majority of girls in Sosua due to their independent desire and that they simply have made a sensible career choice is to overlook the economic and cultural factors that make the Dominican Republic a ripe local for the buying and selling of pussy. Who was it who said: "Sosua is a open air brothel". Enough said.

The line of discussion started with the following hypothesis (that's a SAT word I haven't used in a long time): "Publicity will ruin Sosua". I don't buy into that statement. Publicity is good for business. Sosua is about it's business. Prostitution is business. Is publicity about prostitution in Sosua good for Sosua? I don't know. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts.

Now pass me the hooka.

But in any case, IMO, its always better to monger discreetly. In any case, therr will always be chicas available for those of who hablo un poquito espaol and are willing to move around. Stay tuned folks! Cuidate.I wouldn't hold my breath on that account. It would be a blessing for the DR to provide decent employment to those who want it, but that is not likely in the foreseeable future.

I have visited the DR for about 13 years. I have a "novia" that I have known for 7 or 8 years, and she is hugely frustrated with the dysfunction and chronic corruption in the DR. If you have money, you live very well, but for the vast majority, it is hard. Well paying jobs are very scarce. One day, if the living standards improve for all of the population, mongering might become a bit more expensive, but it will be a long wait for that day.

Economic growth in places like that usually benefits the middle class-its like Brazil-during the economic boom there were as many living under the poverty line as during today's crisis.

Mongering won't get affected just because there are a few more tourist $ floating around-and just because they try and charge it don't mean we have to pay it.

That is a very explicit statement outlining the type of girls operating in Sosua and how the are operating. But does that mean there are no other driving forces behind them selling their pussy to you or others?I just listed the good things about mongering in Sosua. One of them was "no mamasan or pimps" to deal with. It's wide open and legal.

As for their "driving forces", there are many, like in any job, but surviving third world poverty is right up there!

I would have thought that was elementary, my dear Watson!

That Italian dude was Armando. He got tied up in a lawsuit that last I heard is still ongoing. He subcontracted it out to certain entities and the quality went down. He also owned Classics till a couple years ago and after one disco. He was deported but came back a few times. Meanwhile the property was decaying. It still has one of the nicest double pools overlooking the bay.I stayed at the Bellamar in Marcha nd had a good time. Big bed and the ac worked well. The big selling point was the balcony overlooking thew water, best view in Sosua. Well worth the 50 dollars a night I was paying (booked it online). My biggest issue with he hotel is the security process. It can take 5-10 minutes for them to get her ID, Scan it, confirm her phone number, have her sign the document, you sign the document and then put a strap on her wrists. I am used to the 15 second process of having her leave her ID at the front desk.

I pointed out that the conditions described exist in many locations in the Dominican Republic since prostitution is legal and that is the law of the land for the entire country (not just Sosua). You can monger in a similar fashion in Sosua as you can in the entire country. The exact same conditions exist, say for example, in Boca Chica (hot girls, wide open, beach close).

Given the many reports that have been posted about Boca Chica it wouldn't be hard to come to that obvious conclusion. Now, the opinions of Boca Chica verses Sosua can vary and one might even have a preference of one over the other, but the mongering conditions within the two main puta pueblos of the Dominican Republic remain exactly the same. That is a fact!

I just listed the good things about mongering in Sosua. It's wide open and legal.!

TThe demise of any business operating on the edge of legality can hardly be traced to a report on ISG..You must have missed Cuba Dave's excellent adventures in pimping.

A couple years ago I got nearly famous for one of my posts to ISG about how easy it was to get laid in Sosua!

It was included in a Documentary on the Sosua sex trade, which went viral! It is still posted up there!

People notice these things and use them to further their political and financial aspirations! Why help them?

Put down your hooka, and think about it!

LOL!

No, what I actually have missed is your specific reference to the business that was actually closed down due to a ISG report. That was your reference when posting about Sosua in the Sousa forum wasn't it? Providing that information would move the credibility of your statements from quick quips that make for great sound bites to solid informative reporting.

And while on the subject of hooka, it actually gives me creative inspiration to do my best work (both online and in the bedroom). Next time you manage to find your way out of that lovely puta pueblo you live in up north, head down south and check out what a real city in the Dominican Republic looks like. I'll host you on my balcony overlooking the ocean, break out the good rum and you can try some hooka with me my man. It is after all it is the modern day peace pipe. Or is the mig vapor more your style? We can even have some of those putas you are so fond of come over. And I won't have to deal with a pimp or mamasan to get one here in Santo Domingo either. I'll just run through my list of whatsapp contacts.

Chambea! (That's a reference to Bad Bunny's song for those who are unaware). It means "get to work". LOL!

Providing that information would move the credibility of your statements from quick quips that make for great sound bites to solid informative reporting.!I never made any "specific reference" to any business closing down because of posts to ISG.

I was talking about feeding into the general tenor of the political move to shut down those establishments that operate on the very the periphery of the "no pimping laws".

Here's actually what I said:

"We've had folks on here naming the managers, detailing exactly what the house cut vs the chica's take is in these places".

No problem discussing chica prices and services rendered, like we all do here. I was talking about bragging about the details of on-site prostitution offered by commercial businesses.

Then I mentioned that CMP and Passions had been shut down, and Cuba Dave prosecuted, because they were a little too public (menus and newsletters showing photos of their new batch of girls) that drew unwanted attention to the local politicians. They may have had other reasons, but they used that "open and flagrant" stuff as an excuse to close down, and deport. (even as we speak the "open and flagrant" stuff is actually being moved away from the centre of town)

Folks are complaining all the time about Sosua changing, so why help it along?

I gave an example of a post I made to ISG that found it's way onto Youtube in a a Damning Documentary on Prostitution in the DR.

The factors that drive prostitutes into the business, or the relative merits of Sosua over Boca chica are not my overwhelming concern at the moment. :)

If you are listening to bad bunny in the DR; then SLOWLY put down the hooka and back away! :DYou had me rolling on the floor after reading your comment brother. Yeah I listen to Bad Bunny and I like his music and videos. And when you have a bevy of beautiful non-pro twenty somethings (with a 34 year old MILF thrown into the mix also) in your harem, you don't have to be worried about putas or what people think should or should not be posted about them and the businesses that promote them in ISG.

Hot women introduce you to a lot of things. They also keep you young at heart and on your toes. Wouldn't you agree brother Tomjackin? Things still jumping across the southern board of the our country of origin my man? I need to make a run across the boarder and the USD is way up against the peso (MXN) that is.

Hooka or no the conditions remain ripe for mongering in the entire Dominican Republic. As I have pointed out in previous posts there is no advantage to monger in Sosua as compared to the rest of the county. Unless you have absolutely no ability to communicate with the ladies that you want to fuck. I know that represents a "inconvenient truth" in some quarters. But as long as legal prostitution remains the law of the land opportunities will be available throughout the Dominican Republic. But if businesses are willing to cross the bright line into illegality they are going to be shut down no matter what is posted about them here on ISG. And quite honestly I would not want to frequent a business that cannot conduct their operations in a safe and legal manner in a country where prostitution is legal.

Now pass me the (no hold that thought). Maybe I should give it a rest? Nah, getting twisted is half the fun of being on the island. Fucking hot sexy girls that you don't have to pay by the hour (and quite honestly the ones you do still can be one hell of a good time too) is the other half of the fun.

Can I get a witness?

It's all good! I don't find it necessary to denigrate PP, BC or SD, especially on their own forums.

I'm not "an abused wife", I'm not here because "I don't know any better", and I do have "the ability to communicate with the ladies", (two long term novias that couldn't speak English, and their families. I have very little Spanish!) I've been to almost every corner of this Island including places most people never heard of, where I'm the only gringo for a hundred miles.

Sosua is full of ex pat and regular visitors from Germany, Holland and New York, and I can tell you they do know a lot about whoring, LOL! They just don't post here.

I can't wait to go back, I lost 40 pounds and came back fitter, healthier and happier than I have ever been. Everybody remarked in the huge change.

I have a novia to thank for that. She cooked local food for me and discouraged me from restaurants. On the weekends she might bring one of her girlfriends over, and during the week I was free to monger.

I woke up in a quiet palm treed garden paradise, with the birds. From my place I could walk to the Playero or Super Polo, the beaches, and the bars. So no transportation was necessary, unless I was going out of town. The motoconcho guys didn't peep me anymore. Everything within easy reach 10 minutes or so, and the walk was pleasant, with folks saying hola.

Apparently that kind of life is not for everybody, Lol.

Sub man was my biggest cheerleader for a couple years. But now he's gone over to the dark side, Lol!

Every time I check the Sosua thread, there is always a fight, one page after another. That amuses me to no end. If Sosua is a shithole, it's a shithole in the ligue of its own with a beautiful beach, cheap lodging, good dining scene, and enough chicas to keep anyone entertained. And it's a short hop from the States. Come on!

Of course, it ain't Rio or Sampa or Bangkok, but if you're looking for these places in DR, you took a wrong turn at Albuquerque. When I want a short and cheap beach vacation with hookers on the side (or the other way around), I'll take Sosua every time. Nothing wrong about it.

We have some next level guys who are above Sosua. Either they are getting free pussy from local girls or are international playboys who have unlimted time and money. My slant is no one is required to like Sosua but if you don't move on. We who enjoy the place do not need you crapping on it. The place has everything a monger needs and plenty of it. IMHO it is an awesome bang for the buck.

They just lurk on this board ready to pounce on anybody who admits to liking Dominicans, or having a great time there. "We just don't any know better" is a constant theme.

Why that is, is above my pay scale, and I'll leave it guys like Wrexxy to go into detail about why that might be!

The newbie reports that we get from time to time don't share that view! They are interesting reports on their own experiences, good and bad, from actually being there, on the ground.

Guys that call it a "shit sandwich" from afar are getting their information second hand, at the very least! They rely on "sources on the street" and shared "intel" to pass along rumor, and third hand reports about how 'some other guys' are getting ripped off.

And we know how that works, LOL!

Is it perfect? Of course not, but warts and all (most of which can be avoided with simple common sense) it remains a very popular and enjoyable destination for Europeans and Americans alike, for the reasons you outline above.

For some of us who are used to living in big cities, with Big Brother controlling every aspect of your life, it is also a desirable place to live.

Like a permanent vacation, for us who choose to live there.

Maybe both statements are true at different times of day and different weather conditions, and different days of the week. Sosua provides a different experience for people who come by for a couple of days than for people who live there. Why not allow different opinions without having self-appointed board policemen jumping in and pasting what is effectively the same post over and over?

(Incidentally, OK has had a major change of opinion. Not so long ago on every trip he agonized over whether to stay in Santo Domingo or go to Sosua, but now it is Sosua all the way, and Santo Domingo is forgotten.).

Your mileage may vary, but I would certainly not want to depend on one post that says that the streets of Sosua are empty.

The place was packed a fire hazard couple Friends and me had VIP. If you're not in VIP or on dance floor you can not move better off staying downstairs. Prices were all over the place maybe it's because we were in VIP Most girls wanted US $75-US $80 for one hour or 150 for all night. There were a lot of nice women big small light dark and most were doable but no real knockouts for me so I left and went down. In the downstairs bar I drank a water had too much Liquor already and enjoy the atmosphere. Prices were much more reasonable took a young lady for 1500 pesos for one hour that's about US $30. We had some drinks in my room and a nice time She did a little lollipop trick blowjob Alternating between my dick and the lollipop. After one good long sex Session we fell asleep she got up in the morning another nice blowjob. I gave her 2000 pesos a trinket from the 99 cents store. Plus 50 pesos for the motor Concho and store her number in my WhatsApp app a decent first day.

During my first visit to Sosua one morning I was at the restaurant at the new garden hotel and I had a table overlooking the street. It was early morning and I was watching the parade of girls on the walk of shame from the previous night. I waived at a few and got a few numbers. I had a pleasant waiter who spoke English. I told him I would practice with him. After some small talk I told him I was here for the first time and didn't understand what I was seeing with all the girls dressed up for club walking home in the morning.

He told me they were here from all over the country to have sex for money with the foreign visitors. He went on to explain that Dominican men didn't pay that kind of money for sex and that these were bad girls that would not be eligible for a relationship with a educated Dominican male if he knew or found out about her past. Over time I have had the truth of his statements confirmed through my extended social circle. So, it's not just a matter of age. Prostitution is legal in the Dominican Republic but not socially approved in all parts of the society.

As hard as it might be for some to believe, not every Dominican is a prostitute. And not every male on the island has to pay for sex all the time. In fact one of our most prolific posters in this section rarely posts about mongering activities. But I have read a lot about his novia, lifestyle issues, opinions about Sosua, and other posters that choose to disagree with him (I might be one of those). But that's ok too. After all the forum is about the sharing of information about having sex with girls. And if you are considering relocation to the puta pueblo of Sosua he offers a lot of good insights but you need to have to wade through quite a bit of uninformative chit chat in order to glean it. Just my hooka opinion.

No hooka was smoked before the writing of this report. LOL!

He went on to explain that Dominican men didn't pay that kind of money for sex and that these were bad girlsDid he use those exact words, "bad girls?" I was talking to a chick that I mess with and called her "chica mala." She got all bent out of shape and I didn't understand why. Finally she explained that "bad girl" meant hooker and not just simply a female that was being bad how I was intending it.

LOL!I don't see any useful mongering information there, LOL.

But I'm glad to see you posted your criticism of my "prolific" posts in the correct forum, instead of conducting a one way conversation with yourself in your own very special forum, LOL!

I'll address the stuff you posted there, since you are here.

I want to shoot down a couple strawmen.

I have never said that Sosua is "better" than x, why, or z. Ever!

I would never do that because I spent a great week in Boca Chica, and posted a glowing report about it in that forum, (this, in spite of a scary incident when my local party got surrounded by a half dozen or so cops in uniform and street clothes. Their trucks closed of both ends of the little street where were sat drinking on the sidewalk. One big mean looking MF was waving a baseball bat. Apparently word had got out that the brother of my novia wsas carrying a glock tucked down his pants. We were all lined up and questioned, but our guy produced a security license, and after about 15 minutes, they all cleared out as fast as they had turned up!)

I am still learning about PP and posted a positive report on PP and Constambar too.

I'm yet to monger in Santiago, but that is on my bucket list eventually when I get some time.

I spent a great night mongering in Samana and posted a positive report on that too.

One other thing that has been questioned is that I am posting just about my "lifestyle", not mongering, but I've posted my share of mongering reports and photos, and Mr GoGo knows who I hang with, because I trust him with some of my photos. I don't post photos of semi pros here. Not cool!

I post about my latest weekend novia and her GF's and they are all hookers, one way or the other. Newbies, semi pro's (they have real jobs too) They don't pay me, LOL!

And I'm well connected to the mongering scene, through local bar staff, managers and owners I know, not to mention a lot of older SW that I fucked, when they were young and beautiful (Ah, how time flies!) who still live in the area. I occasionally buy them a beer or a 100-200 pesos for food, and I listen to their stories, in my local bars.

I have a bucket list of semi pro's that I haven't got around to yet, but I'll be posting about that too.

So I'm positive on Sosua, Boca, Samana, and PP. And consistently on record saying so.

As I always say, "It's all good" (or I wouldn't waste my precious time and money in these places). Like I do with restaurants, one bad meal and I just don't go back, there are other options, so why put up with shit and set yourself up for another expensive disappointment? Just to complain more about it? Lol

One other thing, there was an inference, related to me by PM, that my reference about a poster going over to the "dark side" might be meant as racism.

The folks I have in my immediate circle in Sosua are all dark skinned, my best buddy there is an expat black American, and if I'm prejudiced at all it's against the miserable, jaded, old white mongers, who sit around the place complaining about everything, but never leave!

I avoid them like the plague!

Finally, my PM box was full to the limit with congratulatory posts about "great posts" and "nailed it" from guys who agreed with me when the flaming wars were on, but didn't have the gonads to go public with it here, where in would have counted, LOL!

Maybe you remember this one, from just last month?

"Great post. Good big picture perspective on the issues in Sosua".

So what changed, Subby? Maybe I don't frequent your own special forum? LOL.

Finally she explained that "bad girl" meant hooker and not just simply a female that was being bad how I was intending it.Yes my man! He used those exact words when we had our conversation. And he was speaking very good English.

I've also gotten in trouble while speaking Spanish using a word (or words) that seemed to have very clear meaning to me but a very different meaning to her.

But your story proves my point that there are girls who do not require payment and who get offended if you imply that you are thinking about them in that way. But you knew that. Didn't you?

Add a complaint about lack of mongering information, add a echo statement that should have been made in a PM. Throw in a a little name calling and references to unprovable PM's that have been received and we have a post long on personal promotion but short on actual information.

Despite the number of individuals that want to focus on personal attacks and being critical, The Cmdr. Will stick with being informative and sharing my opinion. I will continue to smoke hooka and have conversations with myself in my own blog that no one actually reads but they can make references to it and quote from. The boat full of critics is about to sail. Get your tickets soon. The men in the arena will stay on shore and handle the chicas.

LOL!

LOL!A couple of points for the record, then I'm done with you.

I was informed my mailbox was full by a poster on this board, a couple pages back. In all these years I have never once PM'd another poster first. Only responses to theirs!

I was given a heads up PM from another poster that you were dissing me from the safety of your own forum, that I really did not know you had.

I haven't suddenly "joined" MrGoGo. His posts got me to Sosua 9 years ago, and I have posted my thanks and personal respects for him many times on this board.

I have your time stamped "Great Post, Good big picture perspective on the issues in Sosua" message still in my box. from just a month ago!

When was the last time you posted a mongering report on this board?

When was the last time you were mongering in Sosua. The scene is changing by the week!

You are not in Sosua, so just how are you getting your info on the current scene here, second or third hand?

Your recent PM messages to me will remain unread and unanswered now, and in the future. Everything I have to say can be posted here.

Claro?

Remember that malo, bueno, and grande each have two different forms that precede and follow the noun, and that they have different meanings. The antecedent form usually signifies a personal feeling about someone, but the other form indicates something more objective. Compare to how in English a 'good friend' is not quite the same thing as a friend who is a good person.

One can also say one is sick, by saying "Yo estoy mal. " (I am sick). Or "El esta mal. " (he is sick). To say "El es malo. " is saying (he is bad / evil).

Getting nit picky here, but the verb for 'is' (ES) is different from (ESTOY) which describes a more temporary condition.

El es malo = he is bad / evil. El esta mal. - he is sick.

Rumbas is indeed open but is working on the Bourbon Street business model. It is primaily a restaurant but does allow the girls to come in and buy drinks. So you can mix with the girls while they nurse their presidentes The prices for food are terrible.

There were a couple girls in there this afternoon sitting at a table they had two grandes on the table, they can't just hang around, they have to buy something. One of the girls at the table was good to go and was quite hot but I don't pull girls from the street anymore. I'll go back in again and try the food ń but my best friend owns a restaurant within spitting distance of Rumba so I won't be a regular customer.

Has anyone had that experience? They did not nickel and dime me in January. They gave me a deal $75 cash per night for three nights breakfast and dinner included. I'm staying at is the Europa Hotel right now because the Alicia hotel wanted $85 for that same Bungalo room only breakfast no dinner. Thier policy changed. I'm paying $40 a night at the Eroupa Hotel and the $45 I save pays for breakfast, lunch and dinner. BTW 1000 pesos is closer to $20 the rate as of today was 49.25 pesos for one dollar.

Just stayed there for 2 days about a week ago. Must remind, its imperative to follow the rule of paying for your hotel day by day. Just in case you want to leave. My air conditioning never worked, and they never seemed concerned, there were plenty of empty rooms, dunno why they couldn't just swap me out. Looks like they're already starting to cut corners, I guess they don't have the maintenance guy anymore and I noticed the towels they give you look about 10 yrs old.

Hi Sub,

Claro means of course (of course) (grin). Cheers, mateI hate this word meaning use all the time but mostly by females. I thought it mean "agreed " which is not far away from "of course".

It's memorial day weekend and I was headed to the Sue. Then I thought about it I hate being there during a major holiday in the US. Too many weekend warriors like myself. I decided to hold back a week. Call my amiga who's doing her thing in the Sue. There hasn't been a lot of activity on the board and now I understand why.

Hi Sub,

Claro means of course (of course) (grin). Cheers, mateI did not answer this originally, because I did not see the point of the question since SubCom lives in the DR and clearly knows the answer, which is obvious, and the meaning of the word is not much different from the English analog "clear", but for anyone whose Spanish is at an earlier stage, the word means, "clear", "clearly", "of course", "yes", "OK", "obviously", "sure", "light-colored", depending on context. Claro is also the name of a local cell phone provider, suggesting that they have a clear signal. Indio claro means a skin color that is in between white and brown. This has nothing to do with India Pale Ale. "Claro que si" is a common expression meaning something like "that is for sure!" Claro can also be used as a filler word that has no particular meaning.

Hope this provides some "clarification".

Since it was the word I used in a post, that caused an unusual amount of discussion here, let me say that I used that word in response to a poster who was dismissive of Sosua fans for not having the "ability to communicate with the ladies that you want to fuck".

Given the fact that he asked the forum, what "claro" meant, (perhaps one of the words most frequently used by Dominicanas in conversation), I thought it was funny!

(I guess I should have put a smiley on the end of it!) :)

A clear response to a question without criticism with a specific purpose to help others. Those posters with the need to simply make a point should take note. Because I've never heard that particular word used by someone speaking to another person in English. Which is the context of how the word was used in the conversation. Furthermore, given the number of referrals to the original post after he made this particular reference indicates to me he hardly was showing or feeling that it was an issue unworthy of consideration (reference: dismissive). Nor can I be dismissed by the poster or any other person as I'm not in the military service or employment of anyone. I have no problem with anyone that enjoys Sousa. I like the place myself. But you should also able to post negative information about the place or proffer your opinion even if it does not sit well with the Sosua faithful and not be besieged by personal attacks. Even if it is raining in Sosua you will not be greatly inconvenienced. Easy enough to pass your trip under cover if necessary, but it rarely rains that much. I live here and in nine years cannot have had more than five days seriously ruined by rain. Even during the much-publicized hurricanes Irma and Maria last year there were people walking, and kids playing, in the street during the height of the storms.

If you are mainly going for P4P do NOT go to Punta Cana. It is available there but far fewer options. There is a reason why the Sosua Boards here have over 30,000 posts and the Punta Cana board less than 1000.

Well to start I saw at least 5 times when was there police chasing girls down the sidewall to arrest them for walking alone. This only happened after 9 at night. Some where hiding inside closed store fronts crouched down. Taylor Made Dreams had a large beach party on Saturday during the holiday weekend. He had a bikini contest. I was a judge. I almost was fucked the 3rd place winner. I had bad timing to meet up with her. I stayed at the Ahvenee resort for the whole trip. I got a great rate being a patron member from Taylor Made Dreams. They had a large pool party on Sunday. They let all street girls in with ID. I had a triple double when I was there all with Haitian girls.

We've just have a new police minister appointed, the same guy who was at the helm around 2011 when the things turned sour. Now, having a good time and living a dream in Dom Rep is welcome, splashing it over youtube is not, even if most of it is respectable; remember, those at power don't want to see brothers having good time, there is nothing controversial about it, it's just a plain fact.

I spent 5 days in the Su. It was low season and during the week the quantity and quality was not great. Never the less I had a great time I spent much of my time with chicas I knew. My repeat girls gave outstanding performances. Some of the best BJs of my life. I did have one bad apple a chica named Flora. I vetted her and shared a meal. Had a great session the lady could fuck. I planned to keep her all night. I took a break and went to Merengue bar to watch basket ball. When I got back it was like a swicth went off in her head the sweet thing that had screwed so well was replaced by parnoid Skitzoid. She was straight mafiosa. She got loud and crazy demanding money. In truth had she been a good player she would gotten more then she ended up with I got security involved so I would not slap her. Ended up giving her 3 k after going back and forth. Could have got much uglier but she took the cash and split. My best performance was a 90 lb Haitian girls who does massages. I had her on my last trip and wanted to give her another shot. The sex was awesome. She took dick like a champ and made some wonderful sounds during sex. Generally things were a little slow but on Thursday night there were about 200 girls in the clubs.

That is fucked up Old Kool. Words from a monger in another thread hold true in this one as well.

Unfortunately, this is true with most of those chicks. However, this is not surprising to me. It goes hand in hand with how Brazilians do business overall. Always looking for the big score. Not all, but most think and train others to think this way as well. They have a difficult time understanding that selling in volume (Repeat business included) is great business. Some are smart, and figure it out.

This a good example why, I only fuck with Haitian girls! To many Dominican women have a need for entitlement do to there complexion.I am with you! There is nothing more fucked up than a chica who thinks she's doing you a favor by taking your money. A lot of these chicas stand out like a sore thumb and are easy to recognize. Every now and then a Loca Chica will slide in and reaffirm our reason for interviews. Kool gave her 3000. That was after she showed her ass. At least performance went well.

Heres a question my man Ghana how did you know she was the Dominicana? Kool never said it. But I wouldn't bet against you. Jajajaja.
Im in the country now. Ive been here since Monday. My 6 sence was telling me to give the Sue a break this to round. I didnt want to deal with the monotony. However three of my homeboys came down Im waiting to hear their report.

Every now and then you get some bad Dominicanas but hell I come to the DR for them not Hatians. However Haitian women are great in the sack and the odds of getting a bad performer is very low. I am almost converted to Haitians. My best performer on my last trip was a skinny Haitian girl who would normally not get a second look from me. In bed she made me a believer. She is on my go to list. If you repeat with a Haitian giirl you get there best which is very impressive.

I like the maluto look of Dominican women. Most of the ones I have been with are great in bed. Sosua putas are not the average Dominicanas The non pros I have enjoyed treat their men very well. I have run into quite a few Western Union Popi who are very happy. I know better but understand why they are content. I truly believe my days of sport fucking are fading. I enjoy the GFE experience you get with the non putas /.

They have jobs, so tend to be emotionally stable and trustworthy.

Not so easily available for infrequent visitors though! It's a familiarisation process and you need to lay down some markers.

With casual pickups, you need a little interview time, to determine her attitude. If she's in a god awful hurry to get you back to the room, she will be in the same godawful hurry to get out of there. You can narrow the odds of unsatisfactory service, with a little common sense!

In my sport fucking days, I used to enjoy the back and forth bantering over a beer. Choosing was part of the fun. Like a kid in a candy store.

One of my fun things to do, when a new monger buddy comes to visit, is to take a girl he's raved about in my photos, to the airport to meet him with a car and a a cold Presidente! She wants to marry you!, is my line!

For a horndog who just left the uptight big city, it's like coming in to paradise!

Sense of humor is mandatory!

Many of the ex pros become semi pros as they age. Like you said they are no strings attached only take care of them while you are there. A side benefit most of them have excellent skills in the cama. They usually as happy to see you because of how boring their lives are. Win Win. Once you get them trained life can be very good.

They usually as happy to see you because of how boring their lives are. Win Win. Once you get them trained life can be very good. You seem to make it work for you by keeping it all casual. That's the secret!

I have been very fortunate to have two long relationships with regulars, a 7 year one, and this new 1 year one.

It works well for me, but I have met a lot of expats in business around Sosua, who have tried to set up housekeeping with a local, even had babies with them, but all of them have broken up, or are going through living hell at the moment, and want to talk about it. The kids are either with the guy, or her family. Not one success story!

This was really surprising to me, given that these guys are long time residents, businessmen, and know the scene as well as anybody.

We sit and talk and I hear the standard complaints about lack of freedom, they want to know where he is at all times. Constant demands to support their familes, and attitude!

The common thread is that once they commit, they give over half their life and half their assets to the chica, who takes it for granted, and doesn't feel the need to show her thanks, by making the dude happy. A couple of guys told me they even sleep in separate bedrooms.

It's a learning experience, because at one time early on, I flirted with the idea of settling down with my regular. As It turns out, I'm glad I didn't.

So my current relationship is now casual, she comes in by invitation on the weekends, or special occasions. She is happy to take what I give her, and I obviously I make it worth her while but the money I give is hers, and I am under no obligation to support her, her child, her family.

I can come and go as I please, and she is free to support herself with her part time jobs. The money I give her is considered a welcome "gift" not an obligation.

She would like more of a committment, obviously, but we broke up twice early on to establish the ground rules, so now it is not an issue.

On the good side she cooks and cleans for me, provides sex and even allows me to get together with her girl friends. She is a good companion, has that all important sense of humor and is liked by my friends.

After 6 months of the relationship, I lost 40 lbs, and became fitter and healthier than I have ever been. Bercause she made me so happy, I did give into her one big wish, though, I gave her a "friendship" ring, LOL!

A win / win!

So far.

They usually as happy to see you because of how boring their lives are. Win Win. Once you get them trained life can be very good.Old Kool you have been in the game awhile. You know how enough folks in the DR operate when it comes to foreigners. Especially those foreigners that don't live in the country. How do you know how boring their lives are if you do not live with them, and don't know what they are doing every moment of the week, month or year? Besides, boring to a local may be bliss. Meaning not having to do jack, but sit on their ass waiting for the next foreigner to come to town. It's also not boring going to WU to pick up their scheduled and unscheduled "help / gifts".

And how did you arrive at the conclusion that them being happy to see you is because of their boring lives? Thats it? Thats the main reason that gets consideration? Are you assuming then, that there are no other dominicans/haitians in their lives they can derive happiness and relief from boredom until foreigners come to visit? I'm sure there is a more practical reason they are happy to see a foreigner. And I will bet being bored albeit true, is not at the top of the list. Moreover, the mere possibility that they may have several foreigners that visit that help with their relief from boredom.

About foreigners training them? One should consider the possibility, that it is them that may be training those visiting gringos on how to perceive them a certain way (poor, bored, need help, etc), The locals know how to ego stroke the hell out of a mugg ( expressing happiness in seeing you, and telling you how boring their life is ) all done in order to keep the gravy train rolling, and repeat business flowing. Their method of training us is done covertly and intuitively, which is subtle power. They use our own self serving ego beliefs / behaviors / kindness / insecurities to their advantage / convenience. Who is really training who? Perhaps both?

Many of the ex pros become semi pros as they age. That is wishful, however illogical thinking mane. You guys have always said that your "semipro" is a chick that has a job but picks up money on the side from renting pussy. If you know the culture in DR, you will know that the older a person gets, the less the likelihood of them finding a job. Hence nobody is being a full-time hooker from age 20-30 then turning to be a part-time hooker with a normal job after age 30, because they have already passed the window of obtaining employment. I honestly can not think of one chick that I know that (IS NOT a hooker, much less a hooker) has passed the age of 30 without a job then managed to all of a sudden find one, allowing her to fall into your mystical semi-prostitute category. In other words, them broads ain't as semi as you think. They just regular OLD hoes.

The places they live in are dismal at best. It is a struggle to pay all the bills and eat. When they have the chance to sleep in an airconditioned room with warm running water and eat in restaurants they are pumped. It could be I am so charming or my amazing personality but the reaaction I get very positive. There many acceptions of course but I am shareing what I have experiences. Long live the semi pro

Long live the semi proO K, I see you missed the point entirely, and also threw in a fallacious statement about some assertions I supposedly said. YOUR experience is not in dispute. It's your assignment of how others supposedly think. If there is anything to dispute it's your contrived projection and assignment of how those women supposedly think / feel about you and your assumption that their lives are boring.

In other words, what you garner from your experience and the reasons for the behavior of the women may be totally different than the reasons you assigned to them. You said they were happy to see you because of their boring lives. But that's projection on your part because of YOUR experience, not necessarily their experience. The same way you assigned wrongly that I supposedly made assertions of DR chicas living the good life, I'm seeing a flaw in your reasoning and in your assessment of assigning those womens reasons for being happy to see you. There may be other reasons for them being happy to see you. Not necessarily because their lives are boring.

At least I thought you would appreciate the fact that I asked you a couple of questions to find out how you came to your conclusions. Some simple feedback on that would have been sufficient.

Just saying something is your experience doesn't automatically make it so for others. What are these women doing when you arent there? And can't these women obtain the same comforts and benefits from others when you arent there? If so, that would mean that their lives arent boring. It's just that you don't know what else they got going on. My point is. Your experience is YOUR experience. But the women you've assigned as having boring lives may very well be interacting with others. And getting the same, similar or even more benefits on the regular from other sources. May have 8 yr "relationships " with others besides you. Including expats that are in country full time. Do you acknowledge that possibility? If so, do you still think their lives are boring?

Your 8 yrs of a relationship with DR chicas, but only visiting the country for a couple of weeks a yr, 4 times a year hardly qualifies as knowing the inner workings of how DR chicas get their needs met and who they socialize with when you arent there. Their experience may be a lot more involved than what you've assigned to them. But if that illusion / conclusion is what you've settled for, and helps you connect with them, or helps you to rationalize your own behavior, then so be it. You will only selectively see / believe / report what you want or choose to.

In other words she didn't sit around all her life and wait for me to come into it before she started fucking. Long live the semi proIt goes without saying that we all all have different experiences with DR chicas, and, actually, women in general.

Mongers tend to come to Sosua from many different cultures, and are of different ages and economic backgrounds, at different stages of their life, with different expectations, and seek different things in women. It's all good!

Some like the young, hot and the restless, some like to be in the center of bidding market at 2 am Classico, and some like to be in bed by 10 after sharing a home cooked meal with a more relaxed, mature babe.

It's all good, and one size will never fit all, as these ongoing arguments attest.

The ones I hang with I call semi-pros, because they have jobs in the hotel, restaurant and bar business, and don't rely on me for their survival.

My regular holds two part time jobs, one in PP and one in Cabarete, and at the same time puts her kid through school. She comes when I call, with her bag packed and occasionally we have her kid down for a day around the pool or the beach. My contribution raises her living standard and she certainly raises mine. She shares her girlfriends with me.

Many of the bar staff in the areas I frequent are available to me too. To me they are semi-pros, but others may disagree. We can agree they sell their favors (which to me includes cooking and cleaning AND sex).

I have the perfect relationship for me, personally, but obviously it is not for all out there!

My advice is stop worrying about what other guys are doing and concentrate on what makes YOU happy.

As usual IMHO, YMMV.

Just saw the following claim on Facebook:

Any truth to that rumor?Given the current conditions on the main drag, I personally would say not a chance. The powers that be want things off of the streets, yet they closed Passions and CMP which were out of limelight and way down the street where there were no problems. They were behind closed doors and private to boot. Tis' legal yes, however it's the 3rd party thing that is the issue. That IS illegal. So unless they changed the rules I doubt very seriously that it is reopening. I would love to see them come back but I feel it is just wishful thinking at this point. I will check for myself next week when I return to paradise.

I have never known shit like that to revert. When it is gone then it is gone. But guys will continue to ask in various threads if their old hooker spot such and such in whatever country has made a return. The only yes I have ever seen was a Help knockoff that sprung up in Rio a couple of years ago and that was top of the line bullshit and was only open for all of 2 weeks. Can't go back. So enjoy shit while it is around.

IMHO it is an awesome bang for the buck.I am in Angeles four months a year. The price there are out of control. Blame it on the Korean. They come down on a three or four hour flight right into Angeles. They do not care what they pay. It likes going to Vegas for the weekend. They are in town 2 to 3 days.

The going rate in a bar (old school dance in bathing suit on stage) now is 3000/3500 p for long time but might be short time. Plus 500 to 1000 p tip plus one or two lady drinks 300 p each. So 3800 to 5200 p for hopefully over night. Might be short time. It is 52 p to US dollar. So Philippine peso is almost same in conversion at DR peso. $75 to $100 US.

When I first started going there in 2000. $20 US for all night plus $5 tip. It was only 2000 p plus 500 tip and 150 p drinks 5 years ago.

So you are right. Sosua is awesome bang for your buck plus you do not have travel 25 hours to go from door to door.

I get most of my girls out of the disco for 1500 p (short time) plus 100 for trike. Occasional buy a drink. Plus 1000 p to 1500 for short time bars.

Matter of fact, just came in from LA Cafe. Only problem is that some of the amounts you mention are purely voluntary. It is not mandatory to buy any ladies a drink. Also in Angeles it is not mandatory to give any tips above the bar fine as it is in Manila (because the girl's payment is half of the bar fine), yet you are handing out $19 tips. And the bar fine is the same price whether long time or short time. It seems you are the one shorting yourself by spending $75 to $100 for short time when you could be spending only $52 for long time.

I get my chicks from High Society Disco as well as WeChat and Tinder for 1000 Philippine pesos to 1500 Philippine pesos ($19-$28) long time. It is your money but there really is not a reason to give them $30 for short time, especially since you spend way more time in the city than I do. This tells me that the Koreans are not the ones to blame. Also in the bars I pay the girls after and not before. Everyone knows what is liable to happen if you pay someone before the work is done.

When I first started going to Sosua it was 1000 pesos long time for a chick. Now you see reports mentioning guys shelling out 3000 pesos for short time. If I am not mistaken, there are no Koreans in Sosua to blame this one on.

Maybe you feel threatened when there is discussion that you do not really understand or find interesting, but the solution to that is to pose your own questions about what you would like to know about and someone may be able to help you.

The DR is a unique destination in some ways--close to the US and full of attractive women who may be up for anything from casual paid sex to long term relationships and even marriage, and every type of relationship in between--and it is also full of scammers who appear to be one thing, but are actually another, so it is very useful for men who visit the DR to meet women to share information and experiences that helps to decode the Dominican culture. If you don't find this interesting, please skip over it.

Have a safe trip and let us all know how it went when you get back.I heard from a usually reliable source that it would indeed be re-opening, but as a bar / restaurant with no overt sexual offerings. I suppose, as in most Dominican establishments, you could chat up the female staff to meet after hours, and that, given the owners' connections the staff will be more attractive than in most places, but the owners, for obvious reasons, are not going to risk prosecution again. In other words, same deal as in Blue Ice Piano Bar which they currently own.

I'm heading to Sosua again next week for a little 5 day sprint. My normal routine is to spend the morning and early afternoon on the playa or walking around Pedro Clisante, Rosen, etc, looking for some immediate action or some new WhatsApp numbers. I already have plenty of girls in WhatsApp from previous trips that I want to repeat during that lull between lunch and 6 pm. In the late afternoon and into the evening, I hit up Bourbon Street, Clasicos, the new casino, and then end up in Copacabana on the late night, respectively, as each venue becomes the scene of action.

Anything else I should be doing?

She wasn't intrusive but sat in the shadows just watching us.

As I told my new and not so new to the DR amigos. Don't make the mistake of thinking you are the hunter. Bruh man, understand that you are the hunted and act accordingly. Either way still beats dealing with american women and their chit most days.

Anything else I should be doing?Less talking, less walking, less beach activities, more bedroom activities. Not all days are the same regard to available girls.

I am in Manila right now.

This tells me that the Koreans are not the ones to blame..I don't pay anything from the bars. Just read my post. I was writing what other people are paying. I don't pay out 1000 p ($20) tips. It was a range to inform what guys pay. Most guys except cheap charlie do give a 500 p tip. ($10) when getting a girl from the bars. I get a lot of girls out of High Society disco at 1000 p and 1500 p plus no tip. I want most of the girls out of my room while I am sleeping. Even though my stuff is locked up. So it is short time. My buddy who will stay late in the disco will sometimes pull girls out of there for 500. Never said I pay before. Again reading what you want to read. I always pay after from the disco. Do not barfine in the bar. Too expensive.

You play games with the girls on the internet and waste half your day with their bull shit. Is it a girl or a bakla?

I will go to the disco and get my girl within a hour.

Before you attack my post. I was trying to tell guys on this board that Angeles city is not cheap anymore. You are probably playing games on the internet in Sosua. Got better thing to do when I am there in Sosua. I will get my girls early for 1500 and later at night for 2000. Again short time. Am tired with arguing with girls on long time in the morning denying sex and still wanting their 2500/3000 in Sosua. Do not need the drama.

Hope you were not in LA cafe at Happy Hours. I was in there three weeks ago at happy hour on the way to airport. There was not one 7. A bunch of ugly 30 olds with three kids wanting 1500 p for short time. Just a terrible place at happy hour on a Thursday night.

I don't pay anything from the bars. Just read my post. I was writing what other people are paying. .In all my years in Sosua. I have personally never known anybody to pay a "bar fine". It's just not the game here.

Entirely unnecessary where freelance independent prostitution is legal and widespread.

There are hundreds of available chicas literally around the corner from your hotel room, with new and fresh ones coming into town every day.

Same with the time consuming "dating" sites, where a lot of misunderstandings and disapointmemts are to be expected.

In Sosua what you see is what you get, up close and personal. You meet and talk to them in a public setting, and make up your own rules. No mamasans, pimps, hustlers, other middlemen.

Spend your money on girls, not bar owners, unless you need help!

Why would you write an entire report on what you ASSUME most guys are doing? Nobody that I know that lives in AC or goes there operates in the manner that you describe. And I doubt most guys are going to go half way around the world to only hunt chicks in a disco after midnight as you do yourself.

And if you can't tell a woman from a man then the simple thing to do would be to ask them. Maybe you just have bad luck. Most chicks that I meet on the internet in AC are trying to come over before you can type hello to them. And a lot of chicks won't even talk if you are not in the city because they don't want THEIR time wasted. And considering internet hookups, it's not like AC is just jumping with tons of other things to do during the daytime that you are going to miss out on something.

In all my years in Sosua. I have personally never known anybody to pay a "bar fine". It's just not the game here. You have obviously never heard of a bar called Passions. At weekends guys were in line to pay bar fines (called "salidas" in the DR). There were other places too. Not my style, but if guys' time was limited and they had fat wallets, it made sense. There is still Elvis' place just outside the center, where guys pay substantial bar fines, and if Passion were to reopen it would do a roaring trade again.

In all my years in Sosua. I have personally never known anybody to pay a "bar fine"...I recall in the old days that the bars around Europa Hotel would have a salida. The problem was, as Oakie says, is that there is so much freelance action that this model never worked in Sosua. Even with Passions, in the old days, all you had to do is get the chica's digits and before or after her shift spend time with her, at a cheaper rate. Can't tell this to Peter, though, the owner of Passions because then he would get on the chica. Passions had a nice ambience but the chicas were overpriced. After midnight, the prices used to go down.

I especially do not understand people that repeatedly go back through the same middle man when they already have been with the girl.

In Sosua there so many free lancers you are on easy street. However some guys preferr to have pimps and madames to set them up. There may be a security issue because you can get some wild freelancers if you are not careful. I have yet to see a huge difference in performance or quality in the casas. My challenge in Sosua is deciding which hot girl to pick.

I have friends that are well heeled that roll into Sosua for 5 days or so and want to hit the ground running and go straight to both Pica Flor and Blue Ice. I on the other hand just text one of my Puerto Plata FB chicas and they meet me at a restaurant or I pick them up at the public taxi stand in Sosua. I do enjoy going to these places though, BB's and FOD too, always great places to buy a bottle, party and dance with the chicas etc.

Single tourists, weekend warriors, from all over the world, and even live here!

How they satisfy their own particular needs is up to them. Sosua provides great choices, just like a giant restaurant buffet. (I just happen to prefer home cooked Dominican food with and a good bottle of wine)

As I keep saying, it's all good.

I, and the guys I hang with have no need of places like BB, PF, FOD, but I have strogly advocated for their place on the Sosua scene. I have never even been inside the casino, but appreciate another fun option in town.

I even took folks to task here for disclosing too much of the explicit financial arrangement between the owners and their putas, of places like PF and BB, which are on the very periphery of the local "no pimping" laws, because I'd hate to see those options closed down.

There's no one size fits all, and denigrating another's choices is a waste of time. Likewise, third hand anecdotal reports about what "some other guys" are doing, I just ignore. Likewise rumours from "intel sources on the street" that can't even tell folks whether main bars like Rumba or Passions is open or closed.

Personal experience Reports from mongers on the ground are the most informative, from street hoe rip offs to GFE heaven, and judging from the many complaints about BB, PF, FOD etc, they too can not gurantee satisfaction for all, either. Some of their women are on the stroll anyway, after their shift.

As I said before, stop obsessing about what "other guys" are doing, and do your own thing and tell us about it.

Some of us are very happy with our own choices, and I see no need to snipe at, or denigrate those that are!

Greetings to all of you out there. Just got back from Sosua and it was interesting indeed. You can put to rest the reopening of Passions as it was. It may be a restaurant only in the future but that remains to be seen. Even the proposed Red Light District is in question. Apparently some folks had even bought property down there in the area only to have it stop cold. Got this tid bit from form the guy I routinely rent from. Residents don't want it down there either. So what appears to be happening is the Politur is on the street the majority of the time, day and night. The goal appears to be to keep all of chica traffic down to minimum. There are definitely more regular tourists than in the past and the tour bus from Carnival Cruise lines is dropping tourists off at the beach on scheduled days. I know when I was leaving town they were pulling up at 11:00 am And they stay until 3 or 4 I was told and that was a Wednesday.

Also no $10.00 visa card fee at the airport upon arrival. They did away with it. There are still plenty of chicas to converse with but in the daytime your better off at the beach. At night the Politur are doing there best to keep the count as low as possible. And that's no joke. Only the daring are out and you meet very few chicas from out of town. That could be due to the slow season but it is a little different from I am used to. Nothing like the past. Quality wise there are still nice looking chicas at the clubs in the evening but again the Politur are rounding up the ladies without cause so the they just don't come out as they used to do.

Definitely more of the regular tourist type, I was actually surprised to see the numbers. So fellow mongers a change is going to come whether we like it or not. I think what we are seeing now is the wave of the future for Sosua. Late nights seem to be about the same with decent action and let's wait and see if the high season brings the girls back to town. It is slow but that is to be expected for this time of the year.

On the other hand I had great time and found that those little massage chicas are indeed a hidden gem. So when things are slow on the street get out your little black books and hit the beach along with a good massage, ect.

Peace,

Had a week long trip to Santiago / Sosua.

A mix of old connections and new ones, a few of whom came from Pto Pta: One from La Isabela (for the night - 2000 plus passage) and another from Gasper Hernandez. Paid in some cases 1000 pesos, plus gifts or food. I have to say this, this is now getting boring and it probably has to do with repetition or I have just plain got jaded. Of course, age is a factor as well. It is kind of stupid, staring at all these willing women on the catwalk and I am out of bodily fluid! God, if there is one, has a wacky sense of humor.

Mangoes galore. Food as usual good but bad news is that my favorite cook at New Garden (GianLuca) is going back to Italy end of the month (for those that have not been to Italy and want to have a not too dissimilar experience of real Italian food) and on that note, rather serendipitously, Gogo discovered me at the restaurant and had a lovely evening with him, which probably was the highlight of the trip! Jajaja!

I've been going to the DR for 10+ years and after a week there I'd say little has changed that matters. Except that I'm getting older, that is. I love that a three dollar bottle of beer in Sosua Lights will get a couple of 20-something cuties grinding on me. What a town.

I paid 1500 ($30) for an afternoon or evening pop, 2000 ($40) out of the bars after midnight. I recommend a petite Haitian that works at the barbershop across from Hotel Casa Valeria, Samantha. Among other things she took it up her virgin butt like a champ for a nice tip ($10).

I paid for a month ($10) on Tagged and pinged all the under-25 Sosua profiles (about 20 or 30) with a short message: American on vacation looking to have fun. I got five or ten replies, most of whom wanted to switch to Whatsapp (I got a local cell phone chip). Some were regular putas (they sent pics of their snatch and such), but most were local girls trying to hook up on the down low. They wanted to meet at my hotel and were pretty much game for sex immediately. And then they didn't really know how to ask for money. I generally just put 1500 in their hand "for the baby," but sometimes there was drama on Whatsapp later. Anyway, sourcing girls from Tagged, the massage places, and night clubs made for nice variety.

Anyway, sourcing girls from Tagged, the massage places, and night clubs made for nice variety. What if the chick did not have a baby? And what kind of drama did you incur? You may be insulting some people by fucking them and putting money in their hand when they are going home. I have made that mistake a couple of times in Thailand. A chick was quick to fuck then I assumed she was a hooker. So the next day when I tried to give them money they were like what is this for and I had to think of some bullshit answer to cover up my misjudgment. To this day these chicks still always try to come over and there is no money involved.

I even had one chick that was a hooker (worked in gogo bar) but I never had to give her money. She wanted me to go out with her and her friends one night but I told her no because I was going to be hanging with my friends. She said okay but if you see me dancing with a guy do not get angry. I gave her $30 and pulled away from her house on my motorbike. Later she sent me a message asking what the money was for. I said so you can buy him a drink.

I use tagged (free version) in DR as well, but to find normal free chicks, not paid ones. My cup is running over for when I get there in a couple of weeks. Ran into a hooker in Punta Cana on there yesterday though. As is normal for Dumbminicans, the profile was wrong saying she lives in Santo Domingo.

Me: yo se. Pero tu perfil dice santo domingo. Cuando tu vas a santo domingo?
Her: No lo se yo vivo en punta cana mi vida esta aqui.
Me: pero tienes dias libres no? Dime tu whatsapp.
Her: Que buscas. No me gusta santo Domingo. Voy si me llaman un cliente porque soy escort.
Me: escort de que? Eres prostituta?
Her: Si.
Me: y cuanto cobras?
Her: 150 dolares.
Me: wao!. Quisas yo necesito ser prostituta tambien si paga asi!

I have made that mistake a couple of times ... and I had to think of some bullshit answer to cover up my misjudgment.Well, that is exactly the tricky part. I generally offer to pay the motoconcho fare (since the girls say they don't have any money), and I meet them out front of the hotel and pay the bike guy. In one case, after fucking I took the girl to dinner (which was expensive but didn't have to be) and didn't feel like I needed to pay her, but when I told her good bye, I gave her 100, saying it was for the motoconcho home. She writes me the next day angry. First of all, do I think she's a puta (She's not! She says)? Is that why I gave her money? Secondly, do I think all she wants is 100 pesos? With her baby and various expenses she deserves a lot more than that! I'm like, wtf? And basically didn't respond.

I figured out later that it's best to just apologize and claim a misunderstanding or whatever. I'm firm about things that matter to me (BBBJ) but I don't mind humbling myself if it makes them feel better. I tried to sort it out with her sometime later, but we kind of talked in circles and I didn't see her again.

So finally made it to the famous Sosua. It isn't really my cup of tea but I had a really fun night. My buddy who is Latin wasn't really comfortable with the predominately black customers dressed in a fashion that made him uncomfortable so we headed back to Santo Domingo after that night, but I still had a good time. It's a little more ghetto than my taste, way more 5 and 6's than 8's and 9's. But plenty of diamonds in the rough. We pulled chicks out of Pica FLor in the the beginning of the day, 7000 todo noche and they weren't budging, they said it's a higher class their. I didn't really care that much I got the feeling my girl was going to give me what I was looking for and she definitely came through. So we came back to hotel for a quickie, then dinner then went to a disco. It was a second floor one that you had to pay to enter. So I made sure my chick was bi before hand, and also that she wasn't one of those clingers because I wanted a fun threesome and I've had too many to count that have just sucked. Well we were partying really hard so I was too drunk eventually to even be thinking about sex, but toward the end of the night she's like did you spot anyone? And I just told her I was picky and didn't see anything. But being a gentleman I asked her had she? And she had. THe girl wasn't my type, but at this point I'm wasted not wanting sex and figuring maybe watching is a good way to end the night. So I buy this other girl a drink and some patron, and then her friends come up that she came with which were not necassarily more my type, but more my I haven't had the type cross it off box. So I told my girl it would be rude if we just took her and not her friends so my threesome became a fivesome.

So then we go back to my hotel and I walk in with 4 girls and security is like, no that ain't happening. I tried to bribe him but he wasn't having it. So the girls are like we know a place. I had a car so I was like ok lets go, I wasn't very excited about it because I was drunk and tired and not even remotely tired. So they took me to the place where you like park in the garage so nobody can see you bring a girl and go up stairs. My buddy had described them too me and I thought the idea was cool, so I was excited to actually be in one which made the drive worth it. SO we get up there and get another round of beers. Then they want the fun to begin, but I didn't tell them that I didn't want to be part of that until that point. So they take turns giving me lap dances which really aren't going to do a thing because I'm from Florida lap dance capital of the world. I really think they are about to give up and just let me watch which is what I wanted to do all along. But then one of the girls, 18 tight body and kind of my favorite next to the girl I had picked up rips my pants off and basically orally [CodeWord124] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord124) me. Which I don't mind. So I'm kind of remotely wanting sex now. THen they line up like a birthday party or something and merry go round blow jobs. Which now I can handle a condom and go to town. I was a great time, way better than I expected as I'm typically not a fan of threesomes but this group just cliqued big time.

So I can totally get the appeal of Sosua, it's really cheap. And you can have a really great time. But I'the rather be in Santo DOmingo at the JW marriott pulling hotter women that maybe cost a little more in some way or another. I'll post the Santo Domingo stuff in other areas. I may go back to a town close to Sosua that's a little nicer in the future. But my buddy and I really like Santo Domingo and the mix it gives us. But if I was on a budget I would definitely do Sosua.

So finally made it to the famous Sosua. It isn't really my cup of tea but I had a really fun night. Thanks for the trip report. Unfortunately, they're a little difficult to find in this forum, much more miss than hit.

Don't judge Sosua based on only one night in town. Keep in mind that you were visiting during the low season, so the quantity (and possibly quality) of girls is going to be lower this time of year than, say, November or February, when the larger amount of tourists brings more girls to the pay-for-play game.

The appeal of Sosua is that you wake up late in the morning, have breakfast, head down to the beach for a few hours and sun / swim / eat lunch at one of the beach shacks, then head back to the hotel, shower, nap, and go out after sunset to the local bars and clubs. Do that for several days, and throw in some mongering with the local talent, and it can make for a very relaxing vacation. Give Sosua another chance in the future and maybe leave the scaredycat buddy back home.

What was the damage for that night and which Cabana did you go to?It was one out of Sosua right before the casino. Bright neon lights in middle of no where. Was a neat experience. Honestly my true damage for the night was quite high. The girls were the cheapest part. I'the guess $500 if you include everything. The extra girls were 2 k each. I had a really good vibe with this girl, we both just wanted to have fun. I told her I'm Sick of all the girls giving me the blue eyes I want to have your baby bullshit. If I wanted a GF there I'the buy a condo in Santo Domingo and get a high class high end one. I wouldn't say I won't ever go back there, but it's not exactly my cup of tea. And I really like JW marriott in Santo Domingo so probably would keep staying there.

Give Sosua another chance in the future and maybe leave the scaredycat buddy back home.Perfectly said, I monger many places of el mundo, as recently as last week in medellin for months at a time, but the sue with the beach and laid back attitude, never needing to drive, just hang and eat at the beach each afternoon is really cool.

TTM.Thanks, TTM, you and I always have the most pleasant interaction whenever our paths cross on ISG.

I was in Sosua for a week in April 2015. It was before I knew ISG existed and therefore I don't have a trip report posted on my experience in Sosua here on ISG. And my experience is why I keep an eye on this forum and weigh in every once in a while.

I have an unwritten rule that states I won't visit the same place twice because there is simply too much of the world to see and too little time to see it. But I broke that rule when I made a return trip to Guadalajara last year (strictly a mongering trip) and I can see myself breaking it again for Sosua. I think what I would do is fly into Santiago (like I did previously), spend two or three days there seeing the sights, then grab a taxi to Sosua and spend the remainder of my time in the DR there, say like Thursday through Monday. Or, instead of Santiago, I could do Puerto Plata for a couple of days and then finish up in Sosua (the teleferico in Puerto Plata looks interesting, as does the old San Felipe fort). I have a pretty full travel schedule for the rest of this year into early 2019, but maybe I'll have time around mid-2019.

True story: I actually ate at Picaflor when it was a newly-opened restaurant run by a guy from Belgium. Now, apparently it's a mongering spot run by a guy named Elvis. The only constant thing in life is change.

They didn't do away with it, it is included in the price of your airline ticket. If you look at the breakdown in the fees and taxes you will see the $10.00 charge, it won't be obvious, I know on an AA ticket the charge is listed as "L8".I figured out why the sneaky mfs put it into the ticket now. It is because they doubled it! Roundtrip taxes from USA to DR used to be $91 plus the $10 tourist card for $101. Now the taxes are $111.

I gave her 100, saying it was for the motoconcho home. She writes me the next day angry. First of all, do I think she's a puta (She's not! She says)? Is that why I gave her money? Secondly, do I think all she wants is 100 pesos? With her baby and various expenses she deserves a lot more than that! I'm like, wtf? And basically didn't respond.LOL. That Dominican logic is a mf. The other day a chick told me she did not want a man for money, but he would have to give her all the stuff she needed. Well what the fuck is the difference a learned foreigner might ask.

Then another thing they do is say well we have to get to know each other. Then when you start asking them questions they get angry and are like why are you interrogating me? Are you the police or something? Bih how are you supposed to get to know someone if you don't ask them questions? They are good for fucking, but anything else remains to be seen.

I guess it is back to cleaning floors for that jackleg crew.Difficult to live on domestic's wages after earning big money in Pica Flor and Blue Ice. More likely they will be on the streets in Sosua and some to Barba Negra or FoD (now Oasis). Anyway, good news for mongers. More choice elsewhere for the knowing monger, while newbies with more money than sense will no longer be ripped off.

I heard from a brother that Pica Flor, Blue ice and City lights were all raided by the police last week sounds lime a bit of a crackdown. Let's hope it doesn't last too long. Here's a link to the news story:

http://detrasdelrumor.com.do/sosua-procuraduria-ordena-el-cierre-de-varios-negocios-y-apresa-a-alias-el-peje/

And here's an (imperfect) Google Translate version of the story:

"Sosa. Procuradura orders the closing of several businesses and captures alias EL PEJE.

Last Friday night an intense operation led by Attorney Titular Attorney Osvaldo Bonilla, culminated in the closure of several businesses and the arrest of their representatives.

Among the businesses closed is Bar Restautar Picaflor, located on the main street of the tourist sector Playa Laguna, the referred business far from being a bar or restaurant is a prostitution business where more than a hundred women offer sexual services in exchange of money, in some cases in rented villas that includes these services.

Elvis Beatand, alias El Peje, owner of Picaflor was immediately arrested.

While in the El Batey sector, the Blue Icc Piano Bar was closed and a woman identified only as Rosalba was arrested.

The morning of today several soldiers with long arms can be seen in the premises, guarding the place.

In addition to Judge Bonilla, prosecutors Pascual, Warlin and Maciel Pea participated, as well as prosecutors from Santo Domingo, as reported, as well as members of the Dominican Army and the Air Force. ".

Remember, the Sosuanews and DR1 websites are (usually) a great way to cross-check any breaking news on Sosua that pops up in the Sosua forum.

These over-the-top raids and closures using soldiers and cops chasing WGs down Pedro Clisante always happen in the summer when there are few tourists in town. Come Fall and Winter, everything will (probably) be back to normal and there'll be more pussy than you can shake your dick at walking down Pedro Clisante.

Prostitution steals the peace in icon tourist town.

Shares.

Sosua, Dominican Republic. - The rise of prostitution in the area concerns representatives of the various sectors of the tourist town, a practice they say has alienated hundreds of tourists looking for a place to enjoy with their families.

They say despite that prostitution occurs in broad daylight the the authorities don't intervene. "Unfortunately, Sosúa is losing hundreds of visitors due to this situation," said Julio González, a regular visitor to the area beaches.

Diario Libre reports that together with prostitution, "other dark businesses" take place here, which have robbed the tourism sector of its tranquility.

In that regard, North Coast deputy Tourism minister Julio Almonte, said the agency and law enforcement are registering the "ladies of happy life" who come to Sosúa to practice the trade, to reduce their number to a minimum.

Sources quoted by the outlet say 90% of the sex workers are Haitian.

I would say yes happens every year, but you now only have one nightclub and the casino late night to go hang out in. So, for all this happens every year your choices are getting smaller and smaller. Things are changing.

It happens always in the slow season. They put away the artillery around Superbowl. Too much money flowing in!

Aside from the general wish to make the main drag more tourist friendly, all they are doing is forcing the action up the street, dispersing the local SW trade.

I rarely venture on the main drag anymore, anyway, I have more than enough action from my chica and the locals we know.

On another note, during another great weekend in PP and Constambar Playa, I was looking at my phone map and saw I was only a block away from Blackbeards, and I had never seen the place.

My chica and I walked over and into the bar, no questions asked, and all we got were smiles. Whatever problems they were having in Sosua, it looked like business as usual here!

A couple of beers in a beautiful and very trankilo atmosphere, and every chica was smiling. This was noon. Hardly any guys around, mostly chicas. I saw at least a couple of 9's I would take no problem. Although it's not for me, I like to move around, I can see the attraction for guys who need to simplify their precious time on vacation.

Still plenty of PFP action in and around Sosua, and that is not going to change anytime soon!

One of the good things about decentralizing the action in Sosua is that the street hustlers have a bigger area to cover to find their marks. Just last night Viagra Man came by my off the beaten track bar. He was complaining that covering his longer circuitous route was killing him, Lol!

But the locals can always find you. A couple of my old Charamicos family showed up on a motorbike with bambina hoping for a few peso handout. How do they know?

Hard to keep a secret in Sosua!

Only problem for me here is the heat. Spent a couple of day at my chicas place in PP. No running water for kitchen, banyo and shower, no refrigerator, but a comfortable cama and a big fan. Surprising what you can get used to when pushed. A couple of cold beers from the corner colmado helped, Lol!

I would say yes happens every year, but you now only have one nightclub and the casino late night to go hang out in. So, for all this happens every year your choices are getting smaller and smaller. Things are changing. In Dominican Republic a lot can change in one year, and nothing in hundred. I learned long time ago, that the more hyped the rumour is, the less likely it materializes. I think we still have a year left to the rumour of relocating all bars to High Caribbean area. Let's wait and see. In my view it will never happen. Does anyone remember the cries about demolishing all beach casitas and building a mall at the entrance to the beach to accommodate them? Now the only thing that has moved recently at the beach, due to Providence, is sand.
